- 0:01Speaker 1: Jeremy, Katy and Josh Makes one hundred.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Here we are.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Together along again. Just now.
- 0:33Speaker 4: We're back.
- 0:34Speaker 5: We made it through the night. None of us died
- 0:36Speaker 5: in our sleep. So here we are Jeremy, Katie, Josh
- 0:40Speaker 5: Live logo at a lonedry, Colorado. Katie's firing up that YouTube.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Although some of us look like death this morning, I'm
- 0:48Speaker 5: not gonna say which one of.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Us again, fire and shots this morning.
- 0:54Speaker 5: You're gonna be self conscious for the rest of the show.
- 0:58Speaker 5: You can find us by search and makes one hundred
- 1:00Speaker 5: on YouTube. All brought to you by Safe Way. We
- 1:02Speaker 5: got Fast five coming up at seven thirty today to
- 1:06Speaker 5: set a little reminder in your phone. And I tried
- 1:09Speaker 5: to call in and have some fun with us. I
- 1:12Speaker 5: woke up this morning to chillier temperatures after a one
- 1:16Speaker 5: hundred and two degree day yesterday. Pulled into the parking
- 1:21Speaker 5: lot here at work and got out of my car,
- 1:22Speaker 5: and I was talking to one of our sports guys
- 1:24Speaker 5: who pulled up at the same time, and he's like,
- 1:27Speaker 5: we need a sweater. He's like, I'm a little cold
- 1:30Speaker 5: right now.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Could you talk of weather with our coworit?
- 1:33Speaker 5: Know, it's what we did. And then we talked about
- 1:35Speaker 5: his girlfriend and I can't talk about what we talked about.
- 1:39Speaker 4: With that wow, and then escalated.
- 1:42Speaker 5: It was highly inappropriate. It was the weirdest transition from
- 1:47Speaker 5: weather into inappropriate things with his girlfriend. But he's a
- 1:51Speaker 5: good guy. I know exactly what you're talking about, Nelly,
- 1:54Speaker 5: right is.
- 1:54Speaker 4: It even more fun?
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a good guy. He's he's very much like me,
- 1:59Speaker 5: very quick witted and funny. I think that's why I
- 2:02Speaker 5: get along with him so well. But his girlfriend's a
- 2:05Speaker 5: wild one. Anyway. Anyway, Katie says, uh, what you have
- 2:10Speaker 5: something going on in your life, you wouldn't tell me
- 2:12Speaker 5: what it was? Off years welled.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Well, because I I know that maybe it's a little quick,
- 2:19Speaker 6: like I kind of did something on impulse and maybe
- 2:21Speaker 6: I shouldn't have done it already, being is what I
- 2:24Speaker 6: went through.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Not did you freeze your eggs?
- 2:26Speaker 4: No? I okay.
- 2:28Speaker 6: So here's the thing is, I bought a pillow from
- 2:32Speaker 6: TJ Max and it is the best pillow I've ever
- 2:35Speaker 6: bought in my whole life. And it has changed my whole,
- 2:38Speaker 6: like seriously sleep routine. And I am getting eight straight
- 2:42Speaker 6: hours of sleep to the point where like I wake
- 2:44Speaker 6: up and have to go to the bathroom so bad. Yeah,
- 2:47Speaker 6: because it is such rare, amazing sleep.
- 2:50Speaker 4: No, I'm telling you you might.
- 2:51Speaker 5: As well have picked up some rubber sheets while you
- 2:54Speaker 5: were there, just in case it's not it.
- 2:55Speaker 4: So the thing is is, you know those mattresses the
- 2:59Speaker 4: purple man.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I think you're called like a honeycomb.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, the honeycomb thing.
- 3:04Speaker 6: And I have been saving up for a pillow because
- 3:07Speaker 6: the purple pillows are like two hundred and fifty bucks.
- 3:10Speaker 4: They're ridiculously expensive.
- 3:12Speaker 6: So I was at TJ Max the other day and
- 3:14Speaker 6: I see one of these honeycomb pillows in.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Their pillow rack.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Was it a purple one or a knockoff?
- 3:19Speaker 4: No, it's a knockoff.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Okay.
- 3:20Speaker 4: It was thirteen and ninety eight cents.
- 3:23Speaker 6: I can't even remember the name of it, but I
- 3:25Speaker 6: will tell you that it has the same honeycomb structure.
- 3:29Speaker 6: And I was honestly a little hesitant at first. I
- 3:32Speaker 6: was like, I don't know if I want.
- 3:33Speaker 5: To get this dim.
- 3:35Speaker 6: I was like, I don't know if I want to
- 3:36Speaker 6: spend the fourteen dollars just to be disappointed, right, And
- 3:39Speaker 6: so I went home on Sunday night and I slept
- 3:42Speaker 6: on this pillow. And yesterday this happened where I woke
- 3:44Speaker 6: up and I was like, that is the most pretty
- 3:47Speaker 6: good honeyep I have had firm months, firm, just supportive,
- 3:52Speaker 6: supportive but still soft.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Cool. You're there's a cooling feature on.
- 3:57Speaker 5: The See that's what I need. I need something supportive
- 4:00Speaker 5: yet cooling. Yes, because I sweat the bed so much
- 4:03Speaker 5: and it is such a game changer.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Eat feeling because I have a lot of hair and
- 4:07Speaker 6: so like that's kind of my thing is it gets
- 4:09Speaker 6: a little sweaty sometimes and it's uncomfortable.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Nothing girl, Yes you ain't.
- 4:15Speaker 4: This is such a game changer for me.
- 4:18Speaker 6: And and then so I didn't want to get excited
- 4:21Speaker 6: because it had just been one night, and I'm like,
- 4:22Speaker 6: maybe it's just a different pillow.
- 4:24Speaker 4: My body's like, ooh, what's that? Something different? But no
- 4:29Speaker 4: last night.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Can I borrow it and try it? That would that
- 4:32Speaker 5: be weird if I borrow.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You can go buy one of these pillows and just
- 4:36Speaker 4: see if.
- 4:37Speaker 6: It works for you as well. But I'm I am
- 4:39Speaker 6: like really impressed.
- 4:41Speaker 4: With this pillow.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I'm glad you gave us a little product review because
- 4:44Speaker 5: I've always wondered how those pillows feel. I've always wondered
- 4:47Speaker 5: how that mattress feels well as well.
- 4:49Speaker 6: My friends have the pillows, and so that's kind of
- 4:53Speaker 6: why I wanted because I tried them one time and
- 4:56Speaker 6: I was like.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, this is the best pillow I've ever tried.
- 4:59Speaker 5: But you ready for an overshare. So I've been it's
- 5:02Speaker 5: been so hot and our our master bedroom is so hot.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I sweat the pillow so bad last weekend we had
- 5:14Speaker 5: to put we had to wash it and put it
- 5:15Speaker 5: outside to try to dry it in the sun. It
- 5:19Speaker 5: was sitting outside for two days and it wouldn't drop,
- 5:24Speaker 5: and you know, after the sun hit it. I looked
- 5:27Speaker 5: at it and it was like kind of like looking
- 5:30Speaker 5: at a globe or a map of the world because
- 5:34Speaker 5: of the yellow stains all over it. It looked like little
- 5:37Speaker 5: continents and stuff all over the pill If I had
- 5:39Speaker 5: rolled it up, it would have been a globe. And
- 5:42Speaker 5: I finally had to go outside and pick it up
- 5:44Speaker 5: and throw it in the trash. It was time for
- 5:48Speaker 5: that one to go to a landfill. That's an overshare.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Pillow.
- 5:54Speaker 5: All I gotta say is, sorry, ladies, I'm taken. It's
- 5:58Speaker 5: time for a little mixed one hundred shorch update. I
- 6:01Speaker 5: meant to play this yesterday, so I'm gonna go ahead
- 6:04Speaker 5: and do it now. It's a couple of days old,
- 6:06Speaker 5: but I feel like it has just been popping on
- 6:07Speaker 5: my social within the past twenty four hours or so.
- 6:11Speaker 5: So there was a Women's Professional Baseball League opener, first
- 6:16Speaker 5: game ever, right, I was back on August first in Springfield, Illinois, Okay,
- 6:21Speaker 5: and they brought out some ladies to sing the national
- 6:24Speaker 5: anthem Martha Reeves. I guess she's a Motown icon. I apologize,
- 6:29Speaker 5: I don't know anything about her, and then two other ladies.
- 6:32Speaker 5: But sadly the performance has gone viral because of this.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Oh see you see bye.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Bye, I'm too bad, so proud? Why nast please me?
- 6:54Speaker 3: And the rocks?
- 6:58Speaker 1: The moves birst.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Beautiful, Okay, still alight, just a little bit more, there
- 7:15Speaker 5: I go, and the whole I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 7:23Speaker 5: I think that's one of the most magical, beautiful renditions
- 7:27Speaker 5: of that song I have ever heard.
- 7:28Speaker 4: One of the most memorable. We'll not forget that one.
- 7:33Speaker 5: What's their Hearts? I guess that that has gone viral
- 7:36Speaker 5: for all the wrong anyway. That's that's sad. Did nobody
- 7:43Speaker 5: like have a like a tryout session?
- 7:46Speaker 4: Practice?
- 7:47Speaker 5: Nobody else?
- 7:48Speaker 4: What were the warm ups?
- 7:50Speaker 7: Who?
- 7:52Speaker 5: I got this for you? The dummer dumber. The Denver
- 7:55Speaker 5: Summit FC is saying that they are speaking with the
- 7:58Speaker 5: Mayor's office to have the Women's World Cup matches here
- 8:03Speaker 5: in Denver in the year twenty thirty one. They believe
- 8:07Speaker 5: that the tournament may be an awesome economic opportunity for
- 8:11Speaker 5: Denver and they want to pursue this only if the
- 8:14Speaker 5: financial benefits are clear, So they are going to be
- 8:17Speaker 5: talking to the city about this. But that's a good
- 8:19Speaker 5: look having all the ladies here playing sports ball and
- 8:22Speaker 5: making some money for the city.
- 8:24Speaker 8: That would be really cool to see, especially after all
- 8:26Speaker 8: the hype that happened from this year's World Cup. To
- 8:28Speaker 8: see that come to Colorado, I would absolutely love that.
- 8:31Speaker 8: That's awesome.
- 8:32Speaker 5: And from that to the Denver Broncos, they say they
- 8:34Speaker 5: are remained. They are remaining focused on opening their new
- 8:38Speaker 5: stadium in Burnham Yard for the twenty thirty one NFL season,
- 8:43Speaker 5: although they're hitting a lot of setbacks right now. People
- 8:47Speaker 5: in the community around there are upset about traffic, housing costs.
- 8:53Speaker 5: What's it going to do to longtime residents that might
- 8:56Speaker 5: be displaced by this. Denver Water has to remove a
- 9:00Speaker 5: bunch of stuff over there. But they're saying we're gonna
- 9:03Speaker 5: try our best to begin construction in spring or early
- 9:08Speaker 5: summer of twenty twenty seven. We'll see. Yeah, it's a
- 9:12Speaker 5: big deal. I can see one of the big hold
- 9:15Speaker 5: ups being the residence out there getting all butt hurt
- 9:18Speaker 5: about stuff, yeah, and really throwing the brakes on things.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It's an empty railroad yard, I.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Know, but it's gonna bring a lot of traffic and
- 9:25Speaker 5: a lot of people.
- 9:26Speaker 4: It's gonna change the landscape for sure.
- 9:28Speaker 6: But don't you think they all of this would have
- 9:29Speaker 6: happened before they said they were gonna I just feel.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Like all this should have happened already before they said
- 9:35Speaker 4: they were going to buy. Except the thing, right.
- 9:37Speaker 5: The public is powerful, right if they start petitioning.
- 9:40Speaker 8: And I guess it still could come to lone tree
- 9:42Speaker 8: then because you got Josh, well, we're moving on from
- 9:46Speaker 8: the Denver Broncos to the Denver Nuggets. How cool is this?
- 9:49Speaker 8: If you think you've got what it takes. And I'm
- 9:51Speaker 8: looking at you, Katie, to possibly be a professional basketball player,
- 9:56Speaker 8: you have your chance to showcase your skills. Ran Rapids
- 9:59Speaker 8: gold Wich is the Nuggets G League. You're just still
- 10:01Speaker 8: a professional basketball team is holding open tryouts one day
- 10:06Speaker 8: only on August thirtieth. Now, you do have to pay
- 10:08Speaker 8: a little bit of money. It's about one hundred and
- 10:10Speaker 8: seventy bucks to get a tryout spot. But you have
- 10:12Speaker 8: every chance now to literally make it to a semi
- 10:15Speaker 8: pro basketball team, which that's just one step away from being,
- 10:19Speaker 8: right a Denver Nuggets.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Right, so you're not going to spend that money.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Who you wouldn't do it?
- 10:24Speaker 7: Kid?
- 10:25Speaker 8: August State is holding the open tryouts for Maamtopium.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Right just to say I did it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You should send Katie. Can we like make that a company?
- 10:34Speaker 4: You should pay for me?
- 10:35Speaker 5: That's right, that's right. Buy you some big baggy basketball shorts.
- 10:39Speaker 8: I d.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Four pairs of those.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You can show them your big Nuggets back tat.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I have the tattoo.
- 10:47Speaker 5: You do shoes exactly. You shouldn't even try it out
- 10:52Speaker 5: with that big old backta.
- 10:53Speaker 4: With my name. I have shoots with my name on them.
- 10:55Speaker 4: They don't even like, I just need the jersey. We
- 10:58Speaker 4: are set.
- 10:59Speaker 9: This is it.
- 11:01Speaker 2: You're gonna be a grand Rapids gold Player.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Well, if they don't phoney up the cash, we got
- 11:05Speaker 5: to start a gofund me page to try out. That's
- 11:10Speaker 5: go funny we post a picture of that tat at
- 11:13Speaker 5: some point, I.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Mean, yeah, please, you thought you'd heard it all.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Just when you think you've seen everything, not even close.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Who spiring? Who's getting canceled?
- 11:26Speaker 1: What's the local buzz?
- 11:27Speaker 4: What can we expect? We're diving headfirst into the chaos.
- 11:31Speaker 3: It's the mile high Hight.
- 11:33Speaker 10: Yeah, what's up?
- 11:33Speaker 3: What's up?
- 11:34Speaker 1: What's up with jkj on Nicks one hundred?
- 11:37Speaker 5: Well, some more numbers are out about the Spider Man
- 11:40Speaker 5: Brand New Day. I guess it's the biggest domestic box
- 11:44Speaker 5: office opening ever, about three hundred and sixty million bucks.
- 11:48Speaker 5: So a lot of Spider Nerds went out and saw
- 11:50Speaker 5: that movie. I think the biggest story in regards to
- 11:53Speaker 5: Spider Man is this story making the rounds this morning.
- 11:57Speaker 5: It was the screening in Columbia where an entire theater,
- 12:02Speaker 5: including some dude in a Spider Man costume. I bet
- 12:06Speaker 5: you his girlfriend loves zap, They all had to be
- 12:09Speaker 5: evacuated because somebody in the audience had extreme flatulence. Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 5: everyone had to leave before the end credits because it
- 12:19Speaker 5: smelled so bad. They are calling the farder the real
- 12:25Speaker 5: villain of the movie. That's gonna be pretty bad when
- 12:29Speaker 5: you can clear out an entire movie theater so absolute.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Maybe that guy had some bad lettuce, you know.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Accurate, I don't know.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Did I pull some audio for this?
- 12:39Speaker 4: I did.
- 12:41Speaker 5: I'm a Zach Brown fan. I love me some Zach
- 12:44Speaker 5: Brown chicken all day long. Katie Cat Zach Brown Band
- 12:49Speaker 5: made history Sunday night at Boston's Fenway Park when they
- 12:52Speaker 5: gifted every concert goer a free cruise the entire audience.
- 13:00Speaker 10: We're gonna do something that even Jimmy would say is crazy.
- 13:03Speaker 10: I'm buying every single person here a cruise for two
- 13:06Speaker 10: people on the boat.
- 13:07Speaker 11: Every single person here gets a cruise for themselves and
- 13:11Speaker 11: a loved one. This is the biggest giveaway in history.
- 13:14Speaker 11: Ladies and gentlemen here tonight and say my part. Make
- 13:16Speaker 11: sure you get your ticket and you hit the code
- 13:19Speaker 11: and we'll see you out on the water for sure.
- 13:21Speaker 5: So there was more than thirty seven thousand fans attending
- 13:24Speaker 5: this sold out show, and they did the math. It's
- 13:27Speaker 5: like forty million dollars in giveaways. It's like the biggest
- 13:30Speaker 5: giveaway ever. You thought Oprah back in the day when
- 13:33Speaker 5: she gave everybody a car was big.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that was a studio audience.
- 13:36Speaker 5: This is even bigger.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Wow.
- 13:39Speaker 5: So they obviously probably, maybe hypothetically I have teamed up
- 13:44Speaker 5: with the Cruise Line probably maybe to.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Be able to do something like that.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Like I Zach Brownman is one of those groups that's like,
- 13:52Speaker 6: I just love them even more now.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Never heard bad thing about that group. I love their music.
- 13:56Speaker 5: So yeah, they're uh, They're definitely on my road trip playlists. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 5: Little Zach brown Band and Kenny Chesney and yeah, so
- 14:05Speaker 5: good for them. I got one more thing, it's local,
- 14:07Speaker 5: before we toss it to Katie. Denver City Council unanimously
- 14:12Speaker 5: approved a major rewrite of the city's nightlife regulations on
- 14:17Speaker 5: Monday night, so nightclubs and other nightlife businesses will be
- 14:22Speaker 5: required to maintain surveillance cameras, prohibit weapons, and make reasonable
- 14:28Speaker 5: efforts to prevent disorderly crowds from forming within twenty five
- 14:33Speaker 5: feet of entrances and exits. Those bouncers are going to
- 14:36Speaker 5: be working overtime.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Like the things they expect people to.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Do I think this is obviously yes, I think this
- 14:44Speaker 5: is on the heels. I've seen a few Instagram posts
- 14:48Speaker 5: lately of people saying this is why I don't go
- 14:51Speaker 5: to downtown Denver, and there's a lot of fighting outside
- 14:54Speaker 5: the clubs and stuff. And on top of that, we've
- 14:57Speaker 5: talked about this a few times on the show. Count
- 15:00Speaker 5: members removed the most debated portion of the proposal, allowing
- 15:04Speaker 5: selected venues to remain open until four am. They're not
- 15:08Speaker 5: doing that, even though no more, even though alcohol sales
- 15:12Speaker 5: would stop at two am. They say that the A
- 15:15Speaker 5: lot of supporters were saying that the staggered departure times
- 15:18Speaker 5: would reduce large crowds and reduce violence, but council members
- 15:22Speaker 5: saying there's not enough evidence to prove later closings would
- 15:25Speaker 5: make nightlife any safer. They are saying, though, that they
- 15:29Speaker 5: might do a small pilot program with this to see
- 15:33Speaker 5: if there's any changes with a few businesses, but as
- 15:36Speaker 5: of right now, there's things are shutting down at two
- 15:39Speaker 5: am still, and then well.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Yeah, they've done this in bigger cities, and I think
- 15:42Speaker 6: there's still pros and cons to that. They're still trying
- 15:45Speaker 6: to work out the kinks when it comes to, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 6: the bigger cities doing it.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yeah, so we'll have to see even and the kinks
- 15:51Speaker 5: usually happen about three am. All right, what else you
- 15:55Speaker 5: got logo?
- 15:56Speaker 6: Okay, this is big news because the Artemis crew was
- 15:59Speaker 6: that red Roxy yesterday some special and the rock Star
- 16:03Speaker 6: astronaut said they couldn't think of a better place to
- 16:05Speaker 6: hold the big party.
- 16:07Speaker 12: This is probably the closest looking thing to the Moon
- 16:09Speaker 12: that there is on the planet, so it just seems fitting.
- 16:12Speaker 1: That's not why it was chosen, but it fits.
- 16:14Speaker 5: It's like, hey, it's out here in the rocks, just
- 16:16Speaker 5: like being.
- 16:16Speaker 9: On the room.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I love that.
- 16:18Speaker 6: It's cute, yes, and just seeing the pictures and seeing
- 16:21Speaker 6: how excited they were to see all the people who
- 16:23Speaker 6: crowded in to red rocks. And there were a lot
- 16:26Speaker 6: of things that they discussed, but some things that you
- 16:28Speaker 6: don't even really think about when you're up there, right,
- 16:30Speaker 6: Like the bathroom situation was one.
- 16:32Speaker 12: Of my favorite aspects is that we had a bathroom
- 16:34Speaker 12: in this that had a door. It was quite nice
- 16:36Speaker 12: to be able to shut a doloor with this.
- 16:39Speaker 6: Right, like if you're up there, like floating around in space,
- 16:44Speaker 6: like I think the bathroom situation would be one of
- 16:46Speaker 6: the last things on my mind.
- 16:47Speaker 4: But to have a door, it's the only place that
- 16:49Speaker 4: they had a door the name that they.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Were, although I kind of want to see a floating
- 16:53Speaker 5: space herd, but maybe that's just me. Maybe next, everybody's
- 16:55Speaker 5: dodging it.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Maybe next.
- 16:57Speaker 5: My son went to this yesterday. A buddy called them
- 16:59Speaker 5: up Burley and said, hey, I got an extra ticket,
- 17:01Speaker 5: you're coming with me, and he was showing me some
- 17:04Speaker 5: videos and pictures from the event yesterday, and those three
- 17:08Speaker 5: check that four crew members were treated like rock.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Stars as they should be.
- 17:13Speaker 5: The video that they had beforehand, like the hype video
- 17:16Speaker 5: and the music and everything, and then they came out
- 17:19Speaker 5: and everybody was like them on.
- 17:23Speaker 4: You see their reaction when they see the crowd.
- 17:25Speaker 6: That's my favorite part of all the videos is they
- 17:27Speaker 6: come out on stage and they look out at that
- 17:29Speaker 6: sea of people and they're like whoa wah.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I really enjoyed seeing them behind the scenes because if
- 17:35Speaker 5: you're not familiar with behind the scenes at Red Rocks,
- 17:37Speaker 5: there's like signature areas and everything where bands that they
- 17:40Speaker 5: for years and years have signed the walls and there's
- 17:43Speaker 5: pictures of iconic bands and stuff back there. And then
- 17:47Speaker 5: there's these four astronauts behind the scenes at Red Rocks,
- 17:50Speaker 5: and I was like, those are true rock stars, right
- 17:52Speaker 5: as those are people that have truly achieved something magical.
- 17:56Speaker 5: And it was really neat to see him there.
- 17:58Speaker 6: Yeah, and the fact that they came here to see like,
- 18:00Speaker 6: I just I love that they could have went anywhere, anywhere.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And they decided to come to Red Rocks.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So I mean, how would you turn down an invite
- 18:07Speaker 5: to Red Rocks.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Who would do that?
- 18:09Speaker 4: I know you'd be crazy, right, people would be like
- 18:12Speaker 4: they did send them back to.
- 18:16Speaker 6: But again, very very exciting stuff for everybody here in Colorado.
- 18:21Speaker 4: This is crazy news for people in Colorado.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Last night, twenty two flights were diverted from Dea to
- 18:27Speaker 6: Colorado Springs as they were coming in to make the landing.
- 18:29Speaker 6: And that's because of bad turbulence. And I'm like, it
- 18:32Speaker 6: must have been really bad, because I've had some turbulence recently.
- 18:35Speaker 6: I mean, just when we came back in from New York.
- 18:38Speaker 6: It gets so the worst, it really does.
- 18:41Speaker 5: I hate flying, and that's when you make eye contact
- 18:44Speaker 5: with your spouse or your lover coming back into Denver,
- 18:46Speaker 5: You're like, this could be it all my hand.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Please, we don't know what's gonna happen.
- 18:51Speaker 6: But the fact that they had to lay in somewhere
- 18:54Speaker 6: else means that it was really gnarly. But five total
- 18:57Speaker 6: passengers did have to receive medical attention as of last night.
- 19:01Speaker 6: So everyone's okay, everyone's fine. But I had to be
- 19:04Speaker 6: some pretty crazy.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Yeah, we got we got a two bouncy situation. Here
- 19:08Speaker 5: a bouncy we got a TV situation.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Imagine having to go to Colorado Springs. Then you're waiting
- 19:15Speaker 6: at the buddy up. They call you and they're like, hey, actually,
- 19:20Speaker 6: can you come get me down at Like.
- 19:24Speaker 4: You're sitting there eating a steak, waiting for your rind
- 19:26Speaker 4: to come. But again you're okay, I guess that's the
- 19:31Speaker 4: good news there.
- 19:32Speaker 5: You got to get this bird on the ground and
- 19:33Speaker 5: then here we go.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Here's the last one. Alert the presses. That's us. Huh
- 19:37Speaker 4: we are the presses.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Walmart pistachio nut butter has been recalled. Tell Manila, here's
- 19:42Speaker 6: the reason I'm telling you this story. We are one

- 20:12Speaker 6: You will never have nut butter in your in your cupboard.
- 20:14Speaker 6: It will never be an option for you. I ate
- 20:17Speaker 6: the entire six point seven ounces in one sitting.
- 20:20Speaker 5: It's a very small jer you're gonna get sick.
- 20:22Speaker 4: It's only like this big. But it was so good.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I could not stop eating it.
- 20:28Speaker 5: It was like, no, I got something on bread. I
- 20:31Speaker 5: got something you No, no, no, no, no.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Don't want to s So stay away from the Walmart
- 20:46Speaker 4: pistachio nut butter.
- 20:48Speaker 5: I promised myself I wouldn't go.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Back to nut butter. That's out since the Great nut
- 20:54Speaker 4: butter Incident nineteen A round nut butter like you go
- 20:58Speaker 4: crazy girl, That's what I said to cel.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Jery, Katie and Josh one hundred.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Katie.

- 21:50Speaker 4: I know, caffeine ye in beauty products a lot.
- 21:53Speaker 6: It's supposed to like help with like under eye circles
- 21:56Speaker 6: and stuff of sugar.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, exactly, Well that's the thing.
- 22:00Speaker 5: One of these is a sugar scrub and sugar scrubs,
- 22:03Speaker 5: which I'll admit I've tried Nicknacks sugar scrubs.
- 22:07Speaker 4: It feels.
- 22:09Speaker 6: I love wild cherry. Pepsi is my favorite, so tasty.
- 22:13Speaker 6: If they have a sugar scrub that tastes.
- 22:16Speaker 5: Like that, yeah, what You're I'm supposed to eat the
- 22:18Speaker 5: sugar scrub while you're in the shower, right, I don't
- 22:21Speaker 5: think so that's probably frowned upon.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Might be able to just try it.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Wouldn't that be funny? You just buy this stuff and
- 22:27Speaker 5: you just sit on your couch and.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Doing it wrong.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Katie's been dying to talk about ladies fashion, and all
- 22:38Speaker 5: I overheard was something about elephants. Well yeah, and I
- 22:41Speaker 5: feel like that's not flattering.
- 22:42Speaker 4: No, well no, it's the extra.
- 22:44Speaker 6: Long, wide legs pants and trousers that like pool at
- 22:48Speaker 6: the bottom on the floor.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Well yeah, because that's how.
- 22:52Speaker 6: You describe it, because it's not just jeans, it's pants,
- 22:55Speaker 6: Like it's a kind of material so that you get
- 22:58Speaker 6: the good image in your head.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Right, So that's what it is.
- 23:01Speaker 6: It's the oversized pants that go over your shoes and
- 23:05Speaker 6: they fall on the ground and they drag on the
- 23:08Speaker 6: ground like a toddler.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Well but they're in style right now, like those big pants.
- 23:13Speaker 5: I'm going to tell you right now, I hate that.
- 23:15Speaker 7: I know you do.
- 23:16Speaker 5: I know I'm not your go to fashion guy, but
- 23:19Speaker 5: I do not care for that look at all. I
- 23:21Speaker 5: know you don't, but I'm against it.
- 23:22Speaker 6: I love it, especially like when somebody wears it with
- 23:25Speaker 6: a nice pair of really high heels so that the
- 23:28Speaker 6: fabric just barely touches.
- 23:30Speaker 4: The ground, you know, And I don't get to see
- 23:32Speaker 4: your heels. I love it. I just think it's really stylish.
- 23:35Speaker 6: But the thing is people are having problems tripping over
- 23:38Speaker 6: those pants and it's cost why you tripping girls?
- 23:41Speaker 5: My trousers are literally too big, literally tripping girl.
- 23:46Speaker 6: But they're saying that for women, it's creating hazards on
- 23:50Speaker 6: the streets up.
- 23:51Speaker 5: In these on the streets. Okay, So I thought about this, like,
- 23:54Speaker 5: I look out for my wife and daughter. I know
- 23:57Speaker 5: you're very safety conscious as well. And what if there
- 24:01Speaker 5: was a situation You're downtown and there's a street tough
- 24:04Speaker 5: out there and you're like, I need to leave this
- 24:08Speaker 5: situation immediately, and you can't, and you try to run
- 24:11Speaker 5: and your trousers get all tied up in your feet.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Those white leg elephant pants.
- 24:17Speaker 5: You're going down and you're getting mugged, they're taking your purse,
- 24:19Speaker 5: and I guess, like.
- 24:20Speaker 6: That's a very extreme situation, and yeah, that'd be scary.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Oh no, okay, But like just walking is problematic for people.
- 24:28Speaker 6: There are videos, and I strongly encourage you to go
- 24:31Speaker 6: look at them of women just completely face planning because
- 24:34Speaker 6: they're pants tripping.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Well, what if there's a situation where there's a fire
- 24:39Speaker 5: and you gotta evacuate a building rather quickly down twelve
- 24:43Speaker 5: flights of stairs. But your trousers are so big. You
- 24:47Speaker 5: fall down and you're gonna burn to death.
- 24:48Speaker 6: You know what I do like that you're so concerned
- 24:50Speaker 6: about people's safety in these pants, because I got you
- 24:54Speaker 6: go ahead.
- 24:54Speaker 5: What if there's a hard landing a DA, there's a
- 24:57Speaker 5: situation with your plane. Yeah, and they pop the oars
- 25:00Speaker 5: off and those big old rubber slides come out. Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 5: we got to get off this plane immediately.
- 25:04Speaker 4: All the good news, and I can't. Your pants has
- 25:07Speaker 4: a parachute. You're good.
- 25:09Speaker 5: There's an issue in the air exactly, just for sure
- 25:13Speaker 5: the wind, like, you don't have to use those stairs,
- 25:15Speaker 5: just jump right off, use your pants. You good if
- 25:18Speaker 5: you can get up off the floor, because you've already
- 25:20Speaker 5: fallen down and there's just no chance. There's very concerned
- 25:24Speaker 5: out there.
- 25:25Speaker 4: So here's another one that might.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Mean hurry, you got about ten seconds.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Okay, well we'll just go with the elephant. Man, go
- 25:30Speaker 4: with the elephant.
- 25:31Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, just be careful, okay, come up, all right,
- 25:35Speaker 6: don't make them wet.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Now it's weird. Now, it's weird because I told you
- 25:38Speaker 5: to stop talking. If I don't start these commercials though,
- 25:41Speaker 5: they will punch it right in the face right now.
- 25:43Speaker 5: I don't want to be punched in the face today.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Don't watch Are you ready for them? Here they come. Oh,
- 25:48Speaker 5: something bad has happened, Something really really bad has happened.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Oh no, I took a picture of it yesterday. Actually,
- 25:56Speaker 5: i'll show you really quick. Oh this is Oh if
- 26:00Speaker 5: I want to show you this, yeah, so bad.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Now you have to What is happening? Oh no, it's
- 26:07Speaker 4: Pumpkins spy.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Spice products are out already about time.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Oh no, late this year.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Come on.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Here we go every year with the pumpkins spice crap
- 26:20Speaker 5: and it's already trick let out into the stores.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I need good. I'd love the Pumpkins spicy. I wish
- 26:29Speaker 4: foul it was just all year. I don't know why
- 26:31Speaker 4: it has to go away and come back. It's one
- 26:33Speaker 4: of those things that should just be a staple. At
- 26:35Speaker 4: this point, so many people love it.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it is like earlier and earlier every year.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Just keep it.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Yeah, like the peppermint mochas, just keep them out all year.
- 26:44Speaker 4: At the entire three sixty five.
- 26:47Speaker 5: I saw a couple of messages come in from listeners
- 26:50Speaker 5: as well that some stores already have the Halloween candy out,
- 26:54Speaker 5: and I kid you not. Two doors down the radio station,
- 26:56Speaker 5: the Spirit Halloween Store is like ready to rock exactly.
- 26:59Speaker 5: They're ready to throw the doors open.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Yeah, they've already started decorating. I mean it's this season
- 27:05Speaker 6: comes earlier and earlier every year. I've been fine with
- 27:09Speaker 6: it because I do like spooky season. I like all
- 27:11Speaker 6: the food that comes around with it.
- 27:13Speaker 5: If I'm a fan of Fall October, Crocktober is gonna
- 27:16Speaker 5: be popping on the show exactly. But then you guys
- 27:19Speaker 5: started thinking about the stress of Christmas and bills. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 5: buying more crap that you don't need. We're you gonna
- 27:23Speaker 5: put it in the house.
- 27:24Speaker 6: You can just shelf all that and really focus on fall,
- 27:28Speaker 6: really enjoy put a pumpkin in my mouth.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Those gord Goods.
- 27:34Speaker 5: You want it anyway, We're just a few minutes away
- 27:38Speaker 5: seven thirty from Fast five. We hope that you call
- 27:42Speaker 5: in and play a couple banger prizes today. We'll give
- 27:45Speaker 5: you all the details at seven thirty. I took a
- 27:47Speaker 5: picture of that pumpkin spice creamer because we did make
- 27:50Speaker 5: our way over to Wally World to do something that
- 27:55Speaker 5: I absolutely loved as a child, but now as an adult,
- 28:00Speaker 5: I kind of dread it. The back to school shopping
- 28:04Speaker 5: school supplies, which I think every kid, you know, that's
- 28:07Speaker 5: a magical time when you go get new products, new pins,
- 28:11Speaker 5: new paper. You know, mom back in the day would
- 28:14Speaker 5: spring for the big box crayons with the sharpener on
- 28:17Speaker 5: the back, and you're like, man, I'm living large right now.
- 28:21Speaker 6: I always loved when I got the five star trapper Keeper.
- 28:23Speaker 6: That's how I knew they were doing.
- 28:25Speaker 5: Okay, I got a trapper Keeper right here. I was
- 28:28Speaker 5: looking for these yesterday, No, and I didn't see any
- 28:31Speaker 5: trapper Keepers out. Yeah, because they re released them a
- 28:34Speaker 5: couple years ago, and I went and bought two of them.
- 28:36Speaker 5: And every time somebody sees this, like in pictures and
- 28:38Speaker 5: stuff on social they're like, is that a trapper Keeper?
- 28:41Speaker 4: Yeah, damn straight it is.
- 28:44Speaker 5: But anyway, Yeah, we took the kids over there, and
- 28:47Speaker 5: apparently we were a little late to the party because
- 28:50Speaker 5: the school supply section was a disaster. I mean it
- 28:55Speaker 5: looked like kids just went and knocked everything over and
- 28:59Speaker 5: just shuffled everything everywhere. I mean, it's hard to find
- 29:01Speaker 5: things yesterday.
- 29:02Speaker 4: It was the first day of school for some right,
- 29:04Speaker 4: I think it's the seventh.
- 29:05Speaker 5: I think I was coming up the first, so I
- 29:08Speaker 5: mean yeah, I mean it was like incredibly picked over already. Uh,
- 29:12Speaker 5: stuff was everywhere. Good luck finding any college ruled spirals.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Those were non existent, and there was just a bunch
- 29:19Speaker 5: of snotty little kids running around. And top it all off,
- 29:24Speaker 5: it was about two hundred bucks.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah for her kid, I imagine.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Like that was total yeah, going into high school. So
- 29:33Speaker 5: here's the funny thing that we have found going into
- 29:35Speaker 5: high school. I guess they don't really let you know
- 29:38Speaker 5: what kind of supplies and stuff you need until you're
- 29:41Speaker 5: in school.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's silly week, sillabus week, everything.
- 29:45Speaker 5: And then you try to get back to the store
- 29:46Speaker 5: when nothing's on sale and definitely nothing is in stock.
- 29:50Speaker 5: So we tried to grab a few things that we
- 29:52Speaker 5: kind of thought that he might need for high school.
- 29:55Speaker 5: But then, yeah, we'll have to go back and then
- 29:57Speaker 5: we'll be spending more money.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Katie.
- 29:58Speaker 4: That's just stupid, right, that's how they do it. I
- 30:02Speaker 4: there's got to be a better way.
- 30:04Speaker 6: We've had this many high school years already. You think
- 30:07Speaker 6: we would have you know mastered this part. I remember
- 30:11Speaker 6: just getting all the baby Nana stuff, like it does
- 30:14Speaker 6: get expensive, and then like you think about the things
- 30:16Speaker 6: you have to buy for the whole class, right, That's what.
- 30:19Speaker 5: I don't like. Yes, community supplies now.
- 30:21Speaker 6: The community supplies, but back then it was the Kleenex.
- 30:24Speaker 6: And I remember because because it was like, not only
- 30:27Speaker 6: did you need to get Kleenex for the beginning of
- 30:29Speaker 6: the year, but then you'd get the note home everyone
- 30:31Speaker 6: we're at a cleanex and it's like, how many boxes
- 30:34Speaker 6: a Kleenex.
- 30:35Speaker 5: That's a lot of snotty noses.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Now with all of the digital stuff that you're expected
- 30:39Speaker 6: to pony, Yeah, I'm like, gosh, the kleenexes weren't so bad, huh, I.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Got stucked up? Yeah, we got you food. Yeah, we
- 30:49Speaker 5: got a lot of Kleenex. It's a lot of paper
- 30:50Speaker 5: towel as well, and then a lot of the disinfectant
- 30:53Speaker 5: wipes now and those aren't cheap either. But again I
- 30:56Speaker 5: don't but I get it, like I'd rather you be
- 30:58Speaker 5: wiping stuff down in the classroom and having my kids
- 31:00Speaker 5: get sick and then bringing it to me.
- 31:02Speaker 4: But like this on the air, you can't have that.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Not only that if you don't get it, who's gonna
- 31:08Speaker 6: have to buy it? The teachers doesn't make anything.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want to pass it on to them.
- 31:14Speaker 4: So it's just like the back to school stuff is
- 31:16Speaker 4: always kind of like we're gonna get through it. Everybody,
- 31:19Speaker 4: all hands in here we go, you know, believe it
- 31:22Speaker 4: or not.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Nick Neck and I kind of got into a little
- 31:24Speaker 5: tiff at the store too, because she's a high roller
- 31:27Speaker 5: when it comes to school supplies. And there was a
- 31:29Speaker 5: box of fifty pencils for like ninety nine cents, but
- 31:33Speaker 5: she bought the box of pencils that was five dollars
- 31:36Speaker 5: that were already sharpened, and I was like, why wouldn't
- 31:39Speaker 5: you just buy the ones that are ninety nine cents
- 31:41Speaker 5: and sharpen them? And then she started going off about
- 31:44Speaker 5: how you need like six boxes of pencils and then
- 31:47Speaker 5: you know how many pencils that is is you got
- 31:49Speaker 5: to sit and sharpen. And I was like, well you're
- 31:51Speaker 5: saving Like do the math. You're gonna save a lot
- 31:53Speaker 5: of money by buying the unsharpened.
- 31:55Speaker 4: They're charging you five times as much.
- 31:57Speaker 5: To have them sharpened to sharpen. The Yeah, it's like
- 32:00Speaker 5: I'm not gonna sit down. Are you gonna do it?
- 32:01Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, No, not a chance in hell
- 32:04Speaker 5: I'm gonna do it. But I'm still Yeah, how one
- 32:06Speaker 5: of the kids do it? Is the school?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 32:10Speaker 5: Yeah, So believe it or not, I got in a
- 32:12Speaker 5: fight in the middle of Walmart. Shocking, right, that never happens.
- 32:17Speaker 5: You had your protein today, Katie, and it is It's
- 32:20Speaker 5: all everything about is about right now is protein. Protein. Protein.
- 32:24Speaker 5: In fact, I was sending my wife a few videos
- 32:27Speaker 5: off of the Instagram these last night with protein based recipes.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Apparently all you need is a scoop of protein powder
- 32:33Speaker 5: and two bananas. Yeah, and you can create any sort
- 32:36Speaker 5: of protein concoction that your heart desires. You ever done
- 32:40Speaker 5: the protein smash with the protein powder in there?
- 32:42Speaker 4: I don't do.
- 32:44Speaker 7: No.
- 32:45Speaker 6: I don't like the taste of protein powder, but I
- 32:47Speaker 6: do a lot of cottage cheese.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Yeah, me too. Everything buckets to that and the Greek
- 32:52Speaker 5: yogurt at the house. So anyway, protein maxing is a
- 32:56Speaker 5: huge trend right now, and unfortunately it's gotten so bad
- 33:01Speaker 5: that it might be causing the price of baby formula
- 33:04Speaker 5: to go up. Way. Protein is a key ingredient in
- 33:08Speaker 5: most infant formulas and now all the Jim Bros And
- 33:12Speaker 5: you know, Ralph and hr is protein maxing. The price
- 33:18Speaker 5: of the way protein has been skyrocketing, which leads to
- 33:21Speaker 5: higher formula costs. That's really hard when you're a parent
- 33:25Speaker 5: on a budget, you know, trying to raise a little
- 33:27Speaker 5: baby human child.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Do that you're taking protein from a baby?
- 33:31Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 33:31Speaker 5: Don't we need a bunch of little jacked babies around here?
- 33:35Speaker 4: Baby box?
- 33:35Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:36Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 33:36Speaker 5: Ah. So on the heels of that, Speaking of babies
- 33:40Speaker 5: and what not, there is a viral video going around
- 33:44Speaker 5: this morning where a new mom hopped onto her TikTok
- 33:49Speaker 5: and was talking about how she went to Target and
- 33:51Speaker 5: bought a box of Huggies, went and opened him up.
- 33:56Speaker 5: And I'll let her explain the rest.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Who does this?
- 33:58Speaker 13: I just love this box Huggies from Target yesterday. And
- 34:01Speaker 13: I don't know if this is a Huggy's problem or
- 34:02Speaker 13: a Target problem, but like, there's no tapers in this.
- 34:05Speaker 13: It's a blanket and plastic and a shirt. I'm four
- 34:09Speaker 13: weeks postpartum and now I have to lug my four
- 34:10Speaker 13: week old and my twenty four month old two Target.
- 34:13Speaker 13: My husband's about to go to his night shift, which
- 34:15Speaker 13: I'm partying anxious about my postpartum anxiety.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Could not handle this.
- 34:19Speaker 5: So she opened up the box. There's no diapers in it,
- 34:22Speaker 5: and it was full of blankets and clothes and plastic,
- 34:25Speaker 5: no diapers in it.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Who does that, well, it obviously does it.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Obviously it was a mistake. But I just felt like, no,
- 34:34Speaker 4: it's not a mistake.
- 34:35Speaker 5: It's these people that go in and buy boxes of diapers,
- 34:39Speaker 5: take the diapers out for their kids, pack it full
- 34:41Speaker 5: of other stuff, tape it back up, and return it
- 34:43Speaker 5: to the store. It seems to be a problem right now.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Oh no, I didn't even think people were trying.
- 34:49Speaker 5: To get ahead of freaking out. Yeah, it happens to
- 34:52Speaker 5: products all the time. Somebody said that they they bought
- 35:00Speaker 5: a bug light from Walmart and they opened the box
- 35:03Speaker 5: and they found two cans of V eight in the
- 35:06Speaker 5: box too. So apparently this is a thing where people
- 35:10Speaker 5: are buying stuff and return them. And there was this
- 35:11Speaker 5: whole thing about like the value of the product. You
- 35:14Speaker 5: can buy a target before you know you get flagged
- 35:17Speaker 5: or whatever, and I think it's like a hundred bucks
- 35:19Speaker 5: and they'll give you a gift card. So you take
- 35:20Speaker 5: it back and say, oh, these are the wrong size
- 35:22Speaker 5: or whatever. They hand you a hundred dollars gift card,
- 35:24Speaker 5: they don't even check because it's all taped up, and
- 35:26Speaker 5: then they throw it back on the shelf, and then
- 35:27Speaker 5: there's this mom.
- 35:28Speaker 4: I can't tell you.
- 35:29Speaker 6: How many times I have tried to get things into
- 35:32Speaker 6: the box the exact way that I, Oh, you can't
- 35:35Speaker 6: do it, you can't. But the fact that people aren't
- 35:37Speaker 6: even trying and they're just.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Putting other things vs.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Man, I feel better about a lumpy box.
- 35:43Speaker 5: I'm telling you that, Well, that sounds like a personal problem.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Cynical Cynical Jeremy's gonna make an appearance here though, Yeah,
- 35:53Speaker 5: cynical Jeremy. Okay, this video has garnered, you know, thousands
- 35:57Speaker 5: of views, and it's got everybody talking.
- 35:59Speaker 4: You don't believe.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I'm sure there's a go for me page set up
- 36:02Speaker 5: somewhere for this, mom.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, just.
- 36:07Speaker 5: I'm gonna be cynical, play devil's advocate. I don't always
- 36:10Speaker 5: trust stuff that is released online that goes viral, and
- 36:14Speaker 5: I would say that if I were to do this,
- 36:16Speaker 5: it would be very easy to stage this type of
- 36:19Speaker 5: video and get a bunch of sympathy and mean free
- 36:22Speaker 5: stuff in that.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Mom's voice talking about her four week old and her
- 36:26Speaker 6: twenty four month old baby having in theater.
- 36:30Speaker 2: I don't know she got me.
- 36:31Speaker 5: She was in theater, maybe got me. I believe her hunts.
- 36:34Speaker 5: It could be one legit, but you know, just cynical
- 36:37Speaker 5: me always thinking is this real?
- 36:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 36:42Speaker 5: But if you are doing this stuff, I can tell
- 36:45Speaker 5: you to stop it, but you're not gonna do it exactly.
- 36:48Speaker 5: But Katie, you are so spot on. Have you ever
- 36:50Speaker 5: tried to buy like a coffee maker and get it
- 36:52Speaker 5: back into that styrofoam? Try to return it?
- 36:56Speaker 4: You're bringing that box back open and you know it here.
- 36:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I can't.
- 37:00Speaker 3: I can't hear this.
- 37:01Speaker 4: I'm sorry, listen.
- 37:02Speaker 5: I grew up with Tetris. I was really good at Tetris.
- 37:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you right now, ain't no going back.
- 37:08Speaker 5: When's that coffee makers out of the box? It ain't
- 37:10Speaker 5: no going My goodness.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The fun starts now with fast five oh hello, Yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 1: they're going. How fast can you be? You gotta be quick?
- 37:19Speaker 5: Right one, two, three, four five? Straight time.

- 38:04Speaker 5: there and start a ten second timer. Within those ten seconds,
- 38:09Speaker 5: you gotta give me five things that have to do
- 38:11Speaker 5: with that category. You think you can do it? Three
- 38:13Speaker 5: oh three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Katie, give
- 38:17Speaker 5: us some examples.
- 38:17Speaker 6: Okay, you've asked for things before, like five rides at
- 38:21Speaker 6: elages where wine.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Time's gonna be on the toy eight.
- 38:25Speaker 6: You've also asked for things like five fictional towns, and
- 38:28Speaker 6: Joshua won it yesterday with five things that are shaped
- 38:32Speaker 6: like a triangle.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Like a triangle, garrido. Yeah, never know what you're gonna ask, Jerry.
- 38:38Speaker 5: That's the charm of the game. The topics really are
- 38:42Speaker 5: all over the place. Now. If you call in and
- 38:44Speaker 5: get placed on hold, do not hang up. Three oh

- 41:01Speaker 5: You're busy, mama.
- 41:02Speaker 4: I was impressed with the keish. I'm like, you're whipping
- 41:04Speaker 4: up a giche but either way.
- 41:06Speaker 7: Either way actually good, I have to preheat the oven.
- 41:11Speaker 5: WHOA, don't sprain your fingers.

- 43:28Speaker 3: But it's not bad.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's gross, all right, confirming. I'm just confirming it's
- 43:33Speaker 5: not her favorite meal. So that essentially is it's gross.

- 45:19Speaker 5: I see on my screen that you're taking your kiddos
- 45:21Speaker 5: to get school stuff. Did you hear me complaining about that?
- 45:23Speaker 5: A few minutes ago.
- 45:24Speaker 7: Oh I didn't. And that's what I was complaining about too.
- 45:27Speaker 5: It was so expensive and stuff was everywhere. You couldn't
- 45:31Speaker 5: find anything. And my wife and I got in a
- 45:34Speaker 5: fight because I wanted regular pencils and she wanted to
- 45:37Speaker 5: buy the sharpened pencils that were five times the cost.
- 45:42Speaker 14: So they need to be sharpened. You need sharpened?
- 45:44Speaker 5: Oh well, then buy the box for ninety nine cents
- 45:47Speaker 5: and sharpen them at home. Danielle, you don't pay five dollars,
- 45:51Speaker 5: but then you have to buy a sharpener, and that's
- 45:53Speaker 5: we have. We have one already though, so that's no problem.

- 46:12Speaker 5: for the two kids was two hundred bucks so far.
- 46:16Speaker 7: Maybe I can just reuse stuff from last year.
- 46:18Speaker 14: That they didn't need.
- 46:19Speaker 5: Yeah, there you go. Hey, were you good in history
- 46:23Speaker 5: class growing up in school?
- 46:25Speaker 13: No?

- 46:26Speaker 5: Well, this one has been driving people nuts for about
- 46:29Speaker 5: two weeks, and I'm going to keep doing it until
- 46:31Speaker 5: we get a winner.

- 48:35Speaker 1: You, Katie, and Josh one hundred.
- 48:38Speaker 5: I got a weird question for you. Is this right
- 48:40Speaker 5: or wrong? Would it be wrong for me to nominate
- 48:45Speaker 5: myself for employee of the month for our Rocky Sports
- 48:49Speaker 5: and Entertainment of the company. I just got the email
- 48:53Speaker 5: from human resources that went out to all staff. I
- 48:58Speaker 5: gotta click the link to nominate a KC employee of
- 49:02Speaker 5: the month. Should I do it?
- 49:05Speaker 6: I think if that like, no, I think if they
- 49:08Speaker 6: expect that from anyone, it's you. Yeah, honestly, I think
- 49:12Speaker 6: that is totally your brand.
- 49:15Speaker 9: And they would laugh, they brand guy, this guy's so

- 49:34Speaker 4: You really are.
- 49:35Speaker 5: I've never been the employee of the month for the
- 49:37Speaker 5: whole company. I've been here for the states out. Dang
- 49:41Speaker 5: TI is it weird if.
- 49:43Speaker 4: I should start a petition?
- 49:44Speaker 5: Who are you nominating me?
- 49:48Speaker 2: You gotta get the reason why? So what's your reason?
- 49:49Speaker 5: Because he's I'm just gonna run everything.
- 49:52Speaker 4: And is the longest tenured employee. Yeah in this building.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Reach a girl respect behind his name, mad respect right,
- 49:59Speaker 5: say with the whole and I have excellent, excellent dental
- 50:02Speaker 5: hygiene as well. Yeah, and I wear cool shoes, so
- 50:08Speaker 5: me too. I'm gonna do it.
- 50:09Speaker 6: I was so excited we actually had someone in the
- 50:12Speaker 6: building when employee of the month last month, our office manager.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Tick the entire company.
- 50:18Speaker 6: I've just seen the radio people win it, because we
- 50:20Speaker 6: never win it under an umbrella of a lot.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Of different media people. So the fact that someone from
- 50:24Speaker 4: our building took it home, I went up to I
- 50:27Speaker 4: gave her a high five. I was like, will you go, girl?
- 50:29Speaker 5: She does way more than me, though, is the thing
- 50:31Speaker 5: like she that's deserved, deserve I come on the air,
- 50:33Speaker 5: make fart jokes, go home, have a sandwich.
- 50:36Speaker 4: You make people happy to just in a different way. Yeah, exactly. Yeah,
- 50:41Speaker 4: to do things.
- 50:42Speaker 5: Okay, I'm gonna do it. You should do it, even
- 50:44Speaker 5: though when they look at it, they're like Jeremy's and
- 50:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna do Jeremy.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Loves himself.
- 50:49Speaker 4: I love it.
- 50:50Speaker 5: Yeah, need that to happen, all right, you are listening
- 50:53Speaker 5: to Jeremy, Katie and Josh here at makes one hundred.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Katie sent me a picture just a couple of days ago,
- 50:59Speaker 5: and I fired back, should I say it because it's
- 51:03Speaker 5: slightly inappropriate. It was a selfie of Katie with three
- 51:07Speaker 5: dudes in the background wearing coveralls, and I said, hey,
- 51:11Speaker 5: this looks like the start of an adult movie. He
- 51:14Speaker 5: did and it was funny and they were all smiling,
- 51:16Speaker 5: and you were like.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Can I tell you what?
- 51:18Speaker 6: That's the first time I made an appearance and all
- 51:22Speaker 6: the young guys around flocked over to me.
- 51:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Oh, they wanted me so bad because I was sitting
- 51:28Speaker 4: in my car. That's why they wanted me.
- 51:31Speaker 5: Ma'am. Could you put your windows up.
- 51:33Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, apparently I have quite the vehicle. And
- 51:37Speaker 4: I brought it in to go get worked on.
- 51:39Speaker 6: And again, it's a car from the nineteen hundreds. It's
- 51:41Speaker 6: nothing special, but it is a highly sought after car.
- 51:44Speaker 4: And I rolled up and.
- 51:46Speaker 6: All the mechanics in this spot came up to me
- 51:48Speaker 6: and were like, do you know what you're rolling around in?
- 51:52Speaker 6: Like one of them actually told me that I might
- 51:54Speaker 6: want to consider not driving it anymore because it's a
- 51:56Speaker 6: collector's item.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Like it's like that, what year is it's I don't
- 52:01Speaker 4: know if I want to say, okay, is from the
- 52:02Speaker 4: nineteen nineteen.
- 52:04Speaker 5: You've got like nineteen hundred wicked low miles on it.
- 52:07Speaker 4: Thirty nine thousand miles on this ride.
- 52:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and you stumbled on it.
- 52:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I stumbled on it because somebody, one of my friends,
- 52:13Speaker 6: their father passed away sadly.
- 52:15Speaker 5: So it's haunted.
- 52:16Speaker 4: No, it's not haunted. But he had this car.
- 52:18Speaker 6: He's one owner, just one, just a single owner, and
- 52:22Speaker 6: he had it up in Esta's Park and he drove
- 52:24Speaker 6: this thing from his house to church and from his
- 52:27Speaker 6: house to the grocery store, and that's pretty much it.
- 52:29Speaker 4: He was retired up there. He didn't do much, so
- 52:33Speaker 4: it has low miles on it. And not only that,
- 52:36Speaker 4: it's in pristine condition.
- 52:38Speaker 6: There's one thing I have to take care of it,
- 52:39Speaker 6: which we're getting fixed right now, just with the exhaust.
- 52:42Speaker 6: But aside from that, all original parts. Again, everything's been
- 52:47Speaker 6: taken care of in the time.
- 52:48Speaker 4: That it's supposed to do.
- 52:49Speaker 6: So they were shocked, like one of the mechanics couldn't
- 52:52Speaker 6: have been more than twenty years old.
- 52:54Speaker 4: And he's like, I've only heard about this on the internet.
- 52:57Speaker 4: I've never seen one in the car. That was awesome.
- 53:01Speaker 6: And not only that, but do you remember the Seinfeld
- 53:03Speaker 6: episode where Jerry brings his car to the mechanic and
- 53:06Speaker 6: the mechanic loves the car so much he.
- 53:07Speaker 4: Steals it, takes it. He doesn't think Jerry's doing a
- 53:10Speaker 4: good job taking care of it.
- 53:11Speaker 5: That's right, That's how I felt. I felt like gonna
- 53:14Speaker 5: in my.
- 53:15Speaker 4: Car because they couldn't trust me with it.
- 53:17Speaker 6: Because I while I was there, one of the mechanics
- 53:20Speaker 6: was like, I also collect to this kind of car.
- 53:22Speaker 4: He's I'll give you two of mind for this one.
- 53:25Speaker 5: I was like, no, I think so you paid a
- 53:28Speaker 5: thousand bucks for this? Did these guys, give you any
- 53:30Speaker 5: like ballpark on what you could flip it for.
- 53:33Speaker 6: I could make way more than that, like what we're
- 53:37Speaker 6: talking over twenty grand If I find the right buyer
- 53:39Speaker 6: on Facebook, why wouldn't.
- 53:40Speaker 5: You flip it thin? You could make nineteen thousand dollars.
- 53:43Speaker 4: Do you understand how these men were looking at me
- 53:46Speaker 4: when I rolled up to this play?
- 53:48Speaker 5: Do you think you're gonna get lucky because you have
- 53:50Speaker 5: a car with little miles?
- 53:52Speaker 4: It has nothing to do with being lucky. It's the
- 53:54Speaker 4: looks I get from people who are like.
- 53:56Speaker 5: From men in coveralls, from young like was it you
- 54:00Speaker 5: who said you kind of have the hots for dudes
- 54:01Speaker 5: with dirty fingernails, Like they're workers, Like I like.
- 54:05Speaker 4: The smell, like of mechanics and stuff like that.
- 54:07Speaker 5: You're gonna go get oil changes like every two months, Like.
- 54:10Speaker 4: Car guys look at you a certain away, like it's funny.
- 54:13Speaker 6: There's somebody in the building who's been talking to me
- 54:15Speaker 6: a little more, And you guys are like, I think
- 54:17Speaker 6: he has a crush on you.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I'm like, no, he sees my car. I'm telling you
- 54:20Speaker 4: that's what it is. He sees my car.
- 54:22Speaker 9: It's still like nineteen brand is a fat stack ca
- 54:26Speaker 9: I can make even more off it, but I just
- 54:29Speaker 9: like and then plus, it's such a good, reliable car,
- 54:32Speaker 9: Like this thing could last me a.
- 54:33Speaker 6: Really long time, you know, I guess it gives me
- 54:37Speaker 6: something like I'm not eating in this car, I am
- 54:40Speaker 6: taking really good care of it.
- 54:41Speaker 4: I'm getting it washed on time, I'm garaging.
- 54:44Speaker 7: It like I know.
- 54:45Speaker 5: But isn't it tempting to know that you bought something
- 54:48Speaker 5: for one thousand dollars and you could essentially flip it,
- 54:50Speaker 5: let's say twenty grand. Yeah, you could flip it for
- 54:52Speaker 5: twenty thousand dollars.
- 54:54Speaker 4: I totally could.
- 54:55Speaker 5: But the downside is this you would have to go
- 54:57Speaker 5: buy another car, and then maybe you would have a
- 54:59Speaker 5: payment or something.
- 55:00Speaker 4: And not only that, who knows what that car's gonna
- 55:02Speaker 4: bring me.
- 55:03Speaker 6: That could bring me a lifetime of headaches because somebody
- 55:06Speaker 6: didn't take care of that car. Maybe this one's been
- 55:08Speaker 6: taken care of, the peace of mind of having a
- 55:11Speaker 6: car that's gonna work. And again, these mechanics are all
- 55:14Speaker 6: like this has been taken such good care of. Like
- 55:17Speaker 6: if you get the transmission flush, the breakthing that's supposed
- 55:20Speaker 6: to be done at forty five thousand miles if you
- 55:22Speaker 6: just keep up on this, like it's ridiculous how well
- 55:26Speaker 6: this car is going to take care of you know,
- 55:28Speaker 6: but that is so tempting, you know, the peace of
- 55:31Speaker 6: mind is tempting to me.
- 55:32Speaker 5: Everyone's like, tell us what car it is. No, we're not,
- 55:36Speaker 5: just because there's weirdos out there and we don't need
- 55:38Speaker 5: them following Katie around. Yeah, but it's still unless he's.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Into it, an amazing little car.
- 55:42Speaker 5: Unless you're a weirdo with really dirty fingers that she's
- 55:45Speaker 5: into it, call me. It is a good looking ride,
- 55:48Speaker 5: for sure. And I love the story of how it
- 55:50Speaker 5: was a little old man driving it around that I
- 55:53Speaker 5: actually found a little what you called diamond in the
- 55:56Speaker 5: rough whatever for my son, same thing, older vehicle, and
- 56:01Speaker 5: the backstory is was it It was a seventy year
- 56:04Speaker 5: old man that drove it to and from church and
- 56:07Speaker 5: to the grocery store and then parked.
- 56:09Speaker 3: It at home.
- 56:09Speaker 2: That's it.
- 56:10Speaker 5: And I was like done and done exactly because you know,
- 56:13Speaker 5: they take care of it. It's not driven aggressively generally,
- 56:17Speaker 5: and those are great little fines, Katie.
- 56:20Speaker 1: It is.
- 56:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm but twenty thousand dollars you can invest that
- 56:26Speaker 5: I know we can get you a little scooter. What
- 56:28Speaker 5: about what are your thoughts on a razor scooter?
- 56:31Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 56:31Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Be honest with me, because you are
- 56:35Speaker 5: very well known for going the Safeway buying a bag
- 56:39Speaker 5: of fried chicken and eating it in your car, yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 5: on your way home?
- 56:43Speaker 4: Are you Are you serious?
- 56:44Speaker 5: You have not eaten in this car.
- 56:46Speaker 4: I've not eaten in this car.
- 56:47Speaker 5: No, really, I'm impressed by this.
- 56:49Speaker 4: I even like bringing food home in this car makes
- 56:52Speaker 4: me anxious.
- 56:54Speaker 6: Only yeah, so I am so extreme when it comes
- 56:57Speaker 6: to keeping this car clean, keeping it in That's part
- 57:00Speaker 6: of the reason why I really like that I came
- 57:02Speaker 6: across these guys.
- 57:03Speaker 4: I actually I made friends with them. Kevin and Vince
- 57:05Speaker 4: went up because.
- 57:06Speaker 5: You made a good point off there about and Vince, yes.
- 57:09Speaker 6: That they care so much about this car, like they
- 57:11Speaker 6: have promised me first of all, that I only bring
- 57:14Speaker 6: it to them to get worked on.
- 57:16Speaker 4: When I say I rolled up.
- 57:17Speaker 6: Into this mechanic shop and all of the mechanics came
- 57:20Speaker 6: to my car, I'm not kidding. They are all so
- 57:22Speaker 6: invested and they want to make sure that it has
- 57:25Speaker 6: a lifetime of happy memory.
- 57:27Speaker 5: See that's a great point. Like you've got some guys
- 57:29Speaker 5: now that truly care about your ride. So you're going
- 57:31Speaker 5: to get gold star service all the time.
- 57:33Speaker 4: Yeah, they're not gonna mess me over.
- 57:35Speaker 6: They're not going to do me dirty, and so I
- 57:37Speaker 6: can trust that when I bring my car into them,
- 57:39Speaker 6: it's gonna be taken care of. And that is something
- 57:41Speaker 6: I don't know if you guys worry about that, because
- 57:43Speaker 6: I know, Jeremy.
- 57:44Speaker 4: You don't how to take care of your car.
- 57:45Speaker 5: I generally don't.
- 57:46Speaker 6: Okay, Josh, I know you know a lot of the
- 57:48Speaker 6: simple things that you can just do by yourself, or
- 57:50Speaker 6: at least you know of them. My dad was a
- 57:52Speaker 6: Diesel mechanic, so he made sure that I cared about
- 57:55Speaker 6: this stuff. But to know that mechanics are in my corner, it's.
- 57:58Speaker 4: A big deal.
- 57:59Speaker 5: Well, myr quick question, yea, yeah, did you scan their
- 58:02Speaker 5: fingers for a ring? Just curious?
- 58:05Speaker 4: They were all Josh's age and younger.
- 58:08Speaker 2: No, I did not.
- 58:09Speaker 5: And what's the problem.
- 58:10Speaker 4: I decide we're buddies, We're free.
- 58:12Speaker 5: They love you and they love your car. Cols missed opportunity,
- 58:17Speaker 5: missed opportunity, be be wild, Katie be Well, all right,
- 58:21Speaker 5: do you guys want to see.
- 58:23Speaker 2: The back seat.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Show.
- 58:30Speaker 1: The show wants to know.
- 58:32Speaker 5: Yeah, this is where we read a listener dilemma that
- 58:35Speaker 5: has come into jk J, and we throw up in
- 58:38Speaker 5: the phone lines and let you guys sound off about it.
- 58:41Speaker 5: At any time you feel the need to give us
- 58:44Speaker 5: a call or a text, now's the time to do it.
- 58:47Speaker 5: Three oh three six nine one one mix three oh
- 58:50Speaker 5: three six nine one sixteen forty nine. If you want
- 58:53Speaker 5: to sound off about Carolyn's situation, she goes, Hey, JKJ,
- 58:57Speaker 5: I'm Carolyn. Oh Hi, She says, I'm thirty seven, currently
- 59:01Speaker 5: out of work, and I won't lie. It's been a
- 59:03Speaker 5: tough few months. I've been sending out applications left and right,
- 59:08Speaker 5: but the job hunt sucks. She goes on to say,
- 59:12Speaker 5: more deets, I'm single. My last serious relationship ended about
- 59:16Speaker 5: two and a half years ago, and lately I found
- 59:18Speaker 5: myself thinking about my ex a little bit more, wondering
- 59:22Speaker 5: how things would of wondering how things could have worked out.
- 59:27Speaker 5: She goes, well, guess what, in all caps, my vision
- 59:31Speaker 5: board spoke and he reached out out of nowhere. You girls,
- 59:36Speaker 5: in your vision made it happen.
- 59:40Speaker 4: You willed it.
- 59:41Speaker 5: Okay. At first, I thought maybe he misses me too,
- 59:45Speaker 5: But instead he told me there's a job opening at
- 59:47Speaker 5: his company that I would be perfect for. It's a
- 59:50Speaker 5: fantastic position, it pays well, has benefits, and he said
- 59:55Speaker 5: he instantly thought of me and thought I would be
- 59:58Speaker 5: a good fit. He hit me with the catch. He
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: said he would only recommend me for the job if
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: I agreed to get back together with him, And then
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: she wrote, uh, part of me thinks maybe this is fate.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: I've been thinking about him anyway, and maybe this is
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: the universe giving us another chance. She threw in the universe,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: I don't know, but the other part of me feels
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: a little uneasy. It feels like he's using my work
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: future as leverage for my hot body. And she wrote
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: ha ha ha ha. If I say yes, how can
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: I be sure he's serious about us and not just trying,
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: as Jeremy says to smash. I do say that a lot,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: don't you? If I say no, am I turning down
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: a job I really need just because I'm being stubborn.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: My friends are totally divided. Some say you wanted him
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: back anyway, so what's the issue. Others think this is
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: a huge red flag and Anyone who puts conditions like
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: this on a job isn't someone I should be with.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: Is he just horny? Question? She says. Now I'm left wondering.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: Should I give the relationship another shot and hopefully get
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: the job too, or should I walk away from both
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: and trust that I can find something else on my own.
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: What would you guys do? Thanks for taking the time
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: to help a sista out. And that's from Caroline. So
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: if you guys want to sound off about this, phone
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: lines are wide open. You can text us, you can
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: call us. I mean, we always love talking to you guys.
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: Three oh three six nine one one mix three oh
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: three six nine one sixteen forty nine X says, Hey,
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I got a job offer for you. You're gonna be perfect,
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: but I'll only tell them you'd be perfect for it
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: if we get back together.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: I don't know how I feel about that.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: It's cute. I think it's super cute. I think he's flirty,
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: totally flirting. Actually, I mean he didn't come out, she
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: didn't come out and say that you need to sleep
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: with me and you'll get this job.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: She was alluding to the.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: Fact that she's got a hop body and he might
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: want to smash.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: It's not offering the job either, he's recommending it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's like the whole I'll recommend you legal
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: issues if we get back to you. Yeah, it's not
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: that confusing.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: Well, no, I'm not confused about the situation. I'm confused
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: about his endgame, Like what does he want out of this?
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Is it to get back with her?
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: Is it?
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Though?
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: I think this was his in as well to reach
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: out to her. I'm e uh, so many of you
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: are texting call us. I would love to put you
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: on the air three oh three six nine one one
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: What would you do if you were in Caroline's position?
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: She's been looking for a job for a while. The
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: job market sucks. Her ex reached out unexpectedly after she's
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: been thinking about him and said, hey, I got a
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: gig for you, but i'll recommend you if we get
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: back together. A Hi, Melissa, welcome to the.
- 1:02:56Speaker 14: Show and morning.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: Thank you well, you bet it, Thanks for taking the time.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: So what should Caroline do?
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:03:03Speaker 14: I think she should have some conditions of her own,
- 1:03:05Speaker 14: because he said I'll only recommend you if you get
- 1:03:09Speaker 14: back together with me. So she needs to turn around
- 1:03:12Speaker 14: and say, great, that's a great idea, and I will
- 1:03:15Speaker 14: get back together with you when I get the job. Yeah,
- 1:03:22Speaker 14: because he could recommend her, or say he recommends her
- 1:03:27Speaker 14: and then take the job and if it doesn't work out,
- 1:03:30Speaker 14: she still has the job.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: It's pretty solid advice. That's really good.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: That's really good.
- 1:03:36Speaker 14: Yeah, that's something to me coming out.
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: But I haven't thought about this scenario. That's really good.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: And I guess if he's really into her, he'll be like, okay,
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: yeah that works. Yeah, but first let's smash.
- 1:03:50Speaker 14: Yeah I was going to say, or just have like
- 1:03:52Speaker 14: a smash date and then she gets recommended. When she
- 1:03:57Speaker 14: gets the job, they can have a serious relationship.
- 1:04:00Speaker 15: Yeah, step it up, in and out instead of oh my.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: God, Melissa, I think I'm in love with you. This
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: is the best call of my life. Uh, so many
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: in the windows with those restaurants. I've got your vote. Melissa,
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: accept the offer, but with conditions you then you stop
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: it right now, here's a dude's perspective. It's justin Welcome
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: to the show, buddy.
- 1:04:26Speaker 15: Hey, what's up, guys?
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: You're up, buddy? What do you think about Caroline situation.
- 1:04:32Speaker 15: Man, I think it's a big red flag altogether. He's
- 1:04:37Speaker 15: trying to use leverage instead of using natural charm.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:04:41Speaker 15: I don't agree with using leverage to pretty much hold
- 1:04:45Speaker 15: over somebody's head. Yeah, what the lady said before, that's
- 1:04:50Speaker 15: a very vindictous thing to do.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it is.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: But there's, like, don't you think there's a cutesy factor
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: to it as well? Like it's just kind of cute,
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: Like it's kind of playful and you know, and it's
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: the universe justin.
- 1:05:03Speaker 14: I mean, I mean, I.
- 1:05:04Speaker 15: Guess, like Marilyn Manson says, I'm like to be abused,
- 1:05:08Speaker 15: and so I'm like to be abused by you.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: Oh my god, it's been a minute since you had
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: a Marilyn Manson.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: Dropped on the trail.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: But it solid pretty good.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: Justin, I have your vote.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Don't do it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: He's manipulating her and that is weird. Here is Michelle?
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: Hi?
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: Michelle Hi? Well we're super dupes. How are you today?
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: Super dupes as well?
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: Appreciate you. What's your thoughts for Caroline?
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: Well, my thoughts are that you know, she's been trying
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: to manifest this and now she's gonna run away from it.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: That seems a little like, just open up your mind,
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: go into it, you know, with an open heart, but awareness,
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: and see where it goes. It's kind of like the
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: story where you know, God, there's a flood and God
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: sends the vote and you go, no, God's got me.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: And then he sends the helicopter.
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: No, no, I'm good.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: Hello, He's sending the ship. Take it.
- 1:06:08Speaker 14: It.
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: Ship said yes, yes, everybody flinched there.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: The ship ship.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: Yes, it was awfully close to something else I did
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: done people. All right, So you're saying, do it because
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: she's been manifested, be open. I think she's going to
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: know within a day or two of getting back with
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: this guy if it was a good idea or not.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: You'll know his motivation. Right, and you hit the nail
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: on your head, y'all, do this with your vision boards
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: and saying your prayers to the universe. And then when
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: something finally happens, you're like, I don't.
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: Know you trust You did make me feel better about
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: the whole situation by saying you asked for it.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Now he's sending it to you. You're like, you're right,
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: it just didn't come in the box. I expected it to.
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: A right yeah, don't always do that.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: It's a really good point.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: I don't know. I'll open and aware and.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: Thank you for invoking God today right after Marilyn Manson.
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: Thank you very nice, Michelle, I have your vokes all right.
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: It came down to two to two one do it?
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: I think she should And again I think she'll know
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: within at least a week what this guy's motivations are.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: And I'm still in camp. Kind of cute.
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: See, yeah, I'm going over to that side a little bit,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: especially with the whole universe talk.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: I know that's killing two birds with one stone. I mean,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: if this both works out for her.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Yes, we appreciate you guys so much. If you ever
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: have anything you want to sound off about, send it
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: to our Instagram or Facebook. Jeremy, Katie, Josh. Please, you thought.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: You'd heard it all.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: Just when you think you've seen everything, not even close spiraling.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Who's getting canceled? What's the local buzz?
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: What can we expect? We're diving headfirst into the chaos.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: It's the mile high height.
- 1:07:54Speaker 14: Yeah, what's up?
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: What's up?
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: What's up?
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: With?
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Jkj on mixed one hundred?
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: Well boy for the biggest news in the entertainment industry
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: is the Spider Man movie Brand New Day, breaking records
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: for the biggest opening weekend ever. They earned about three
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: hundred and sixty million bucks, So there was a bunch
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: of Spider Nerds out at the theaters. Now, my most
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: favorite story behind the release of this movie does have
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: to do with a release of a different kind. There
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: was a screening of Spider Man Brand New Day in
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: Columbia and an entire theater, including multiple people in Spider
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: Man costumes, had to be evacuated because somebody in the
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: audience had an extreme flatulence attack. Yeah really special officially
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: get canceled, but everyone did have to leave before the
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: credits because it smelled so darn bad. They're saying that
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: the farterer is the real villain of the movie, and yeah, like,
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: what did you eat? What went on that you could
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: clear out an entire movie theater?
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: My only my only.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Thought is let its diarrhea.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: It could have been one of those situations, you know, Yeah,
- 1:09:10Speaker 9: got some bad lettuce.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: So anyway, that's my Spider Man story for you guys today.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: I feel for the villain. You don't because you.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: Don't want to get up and leave, right. This is
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: the biggest movie of the year.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: I'll sit here and it was it's like that Spider
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: Man meme where everybody's yeah, three of them are yeah.
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: That's what it is. I'm a big fan of the
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: Zach Brown band. I listened to them on my road trips,
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: and they made history Sunday night at Boston's Fenway Park
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: because they gave every concert goer a free cruise. I
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: think I have some audio. Yeah, here you go. Here
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: they are talking about it.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Tonight.
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: We're gonna do something that even Jimmy would say is crazy.
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: I'm buying every single person here for two people on
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: the boat.
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: Every single person of the year gets a cruise for
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: themselves and a loved one. This is the biggest giveaway
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: in history. Ladies and gentlemen, here tonight and pay my part.
- 1:10:10Speaker 11: Make sure he gets your ticket and you hit the
- 1:10:12Speaker 11: code and we'll see you out on the water for sure.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Now, thirty seven thousand fans were attending that concert, and
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: they said it's something like forty million dollars in giveaways. Wow,
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: that's pretty solid.
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: I mean, but you made something clear to me that
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: it could have been a stunt in the sense that
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: them teaming up with the cruise people.
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: I'm sure there's a connection.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: There's a connection.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: Not too long ago, cruise were kind of being poopooed
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: on this.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: He who are you, Spider Man?
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Just like people didn't want that.
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: It wasn't on the top of the list like it
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: had been, you know, And so now it's bringing it
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: back up there because now it's something people want because
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: it was given away.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: It's like, wait, I want a cruise, so I think it,
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: Yeah, they obviously had teamed up with Carnival or whoever
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: it was, but still got to pay the taxes on that.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: I wonder what that is. Anyway, it's fine, it's fine.
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: I'm sure she got locally. Okay.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: So the Artemis crew at Red Rocks yesterday that was
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: a really big deal and it was something special. I mean,
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: the rock Star astronaut said they could not think of
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: a better place to hold the big old party.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: This is probably the closest looking thing to the Moon
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: that there is on the planet.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: So it just seems fitting.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's not why it was chosen, but it fits.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: It's like, hey, it's out here in the rockers, just.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Like being on the Moon. Yeah.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: Absolutely, And did see the pictures of everybody super excited
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: to see the astronauts take the stage.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: For them to be out there, it's very impressive. And
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: they decided to wind up Zach Brown and said, everybody
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: gets a ride on a space ship.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: Yeah, if only they could, right. But they were talking
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: about how there's a lot of.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: Things that people really wouldn't consider if you were to
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: go up into a space shuttle, Like one of the
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: things that they loved the most about it was a bathroom.
- 1:11:51Speaker 12: Comed one of my favorite aspects is that we had
- 1:11:53Speaker 12: a bathroom in this that had a door. It was
- 1:11:55Speaker 12: quite nice to be able to shut a door.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: That's the solid point you need some pride to see, right.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Only place you get to be by yourself is in
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: the bathroom when you're on a mission with the three
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: other astronauts.
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: If you get mad or poudy, you can go in
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: there and just sit and be like, yeah right, not
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: coming out to day all the tang. I didn't get
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: any pang and that when that one guy keeps hogging
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: a window, Yeah, I didn't even get your yogi the moon.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: I'm seeing your bathroom in pout. I don't they just
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: stay out there nuke the moon.
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: Understand, they got along pretty well up there, So I
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: don't know if there was a.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: Whole lot of that, but somebody ate all the d
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: you had a birthday cake?
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Again nice any but yeah, but a really neat thing
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: to see out there.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: Can I say that my son went yesterday and he
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: was showing me videos and pictures of the event, and
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: those astronauts as they should be, were treated like rock stars. Yes,
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: they had like walk up music and an intro a
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: video and it was packed out there.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: And again if you see the video of them taking
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: the stage, they are shocked to see all those people
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: waiting for them.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: It was like oppressive.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Someone is Noah con here right now?
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: My heart that that many people went to Red Rocks
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: to see true heroes and people that have put their
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: life on the line to expand space exploration and in
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: science and knowledge versus you know, who knows whoever standing
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: up on that stage singing like these are true like
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: American heroes. No, it was really cool to see that.
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: It was very neat to see the whole community get
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: excited about it because you showed the love to the
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: Artemis crew and they felt it so good job, Colorado,
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: and just one more because we need to get the
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: word out about the pistachio nut butter. I feel like
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: this is my duty, what to get out there and
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: tell people it's being sold at Walmart. It's actually called
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Better Goods Pistachio nut butter, and it's at our Walmart.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: So I bought it at the Walmart and Highlands Ranch already.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: I have bought this already. I believe the whole.
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: What's wrong with it?
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: It's got salmonella in it, not the salamonilla, Yeah, a
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: couple of them in fact.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: And so the thing is is it's at nineteen different states,
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: and again our Walmart's in Colorado sell this. So if
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: you are also guilty of buying the Better Goods Walmart
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: pistachio nut butter, now.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: You you're a nut butter. Oh so it's a pistachio.
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: I was gonna ask what kind of nut was in
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: there because I'm a I'm a sucker for almond butter. Oh,
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: I'm like, that's my favorite.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: Nut buttershio don't taste.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Flavor does enough for me?
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: No, you can butter any nuts?
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: Well, do buy chocolate stuff is with the pistachio nut
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: butter so that's why I bought it. So I was like,
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: I can't get enough pistachio, and these do buy things,
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: So I'm like, I'm just gonna buy my own butter.
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: Do you spread the nut butter on like a bagel
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: or with a food straight out the jar? I don't
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: do that with nut butter.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: I don't buy it anymore.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: What's the calorie?
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: You don't even want to know?
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: What's the fiber content? Are you like Spider Man.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: In the movie Theater? I hate the whole drum?
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: W did you do that to yourself?
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: Good? Like?
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: I could not put it down?
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: I like went back to have a disorder. I love
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: you like I could not stop eating this something from
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: your childhood that causes you to consume so much food
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: and especially in ones sitting like were you? I don't
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: want to be mean, but were you deprived? I was
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: gonna say, is that a thing where you were fighting
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: for food growing up and now now you eat all
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: the nut butter?
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, but I did.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: I promise myself I would never buy it again because
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: I have no control over that pistachio number.
- 1:15:37Speaker 5: I don't want you to get the Salmonilla.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Yeah, well if I did, you'll never know because it
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: was Does that kill you?
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: Okay? I have something I want to play for you.
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: Let me find it. Okay you ready?
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: All right here?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no.
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: To tell you you get this album?
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: N I don't either.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: Actually strapping for a little Mixel hundred sports update, I
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: got a couple quick local stories. The Broncos remain focused
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: on opening their new stadium at Burnham Yard for the
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: twenty thirty one NFL season, but the team president is
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: saying that the project is not progressing as quickly as hoped,
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: and meeting that deadline would likely require the construction to
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: begin in spring or early summer of twenty twenty seven.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: Now they are saying several issues remain unresolved. Denver Water,
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: I guess has a bunch of facilities over there that
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: need to be relocated from the site. That's probably going
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: to take a minute, right And the team is negotiating
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: a community benefits agreement with the residents over there because
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: those residents want answers about traffic and housing costs, property taxes,
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: and they're concerned that some of the longtime residents in
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: small business is over there could be displaced by a
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: massive stadium district. So I feel their concerns.
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: Same, Like I get why they're you know, blowing the
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: horn on this or at least a little upset.
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: Yeah, and they literally, like I saw video, they have
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: a giant horn and there they've been blowing it.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Yes, that's what I would do. Yeah, get it off Amazon,
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: start blowing that baby?
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: Would they please stop blowing the horns over there above
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: a new stadium? All right? And I gotta play this.
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: This happened on.
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: The first I was gonna play it yesterday, but I
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: was like, shoot, I forgot, so I'll play it now.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: It was the national anthem before the Women's Pro Baseball
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: League opener and it was out in Springfield, Illinois. And
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: the viral the video has really gone viral. It's taken off.
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: It features Motown icon Martha Reeves, I apologize, I don't
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: know who that is, Yeah, and two other singers, but
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: it has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. Here
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: you go and the rock I've got and okay, it's beautiful.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: And the home.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: At the end.
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: I mean, obviously it's gone viral because of how beautiful
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: it was.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: But wasn't there a tryout or something under practice session.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: You didn't have moemots.
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: They're a marketing team.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: You have a soundtrack, then you want to hear that
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: before he ends.
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: Bless our hearts?
- 1:18:39Speaker 12: You know what?
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: Whatever good for them, Josh, what else you got?
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: Piggybacking off what you said about the Denver Broncos, their
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: president Demani Leach as well as the owners fifteen minutes
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: ago just released the plans of what they want to do,
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: and I think this is in hopes of helping people
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: see the entire layout and it is fantastic. They have
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: a south end zone, a north end zone kind of
- 1:18:59Speaker 8: play on football where there and then the village center.
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: They have the massive turntable green, which is what they
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: want to now put in place of the turntable that
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: was at Burnham Yards. The trains and everything. They're kind
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: of trying to play this whole thing off of like
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: we're not necessarily destroying and rebuilding, We're kind of repurposing
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: the areas. And I love the look of what this
- 1:19:21Speaker 8: is gonna be. They have the mile high line that
- 1:19:22Speaker 8: has ran for decades here and they're turning it into
- 1:19:25Speaker 8: a runway now that people can.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: Go run on and then.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: Every little job okay, but then.
- 1:19:37Speaker 8: They're also making use of Osage Station Park. They're turning
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: it into a park for people to play in and
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: do what they have right here, yoga on their rocks.
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: Like they're kind of transforming it, you know.
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: As opposed to they better get moving on it all.
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: Like they're trying to show the people of Denver that
- 1:19:55Speaker 8: they're gonna make it a greater purposed area.
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: They're gonna make our community a better place to live
- 1:19:59Speaker 6: in taking something away, they're giving us something more.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: And I love it.
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: Yes, all right, it goes
