- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is no Mark Simon Show on seven ten. Woo.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, hey, the Epstein Files. The vote is coming today.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We'll get to that. We'll get to Mom, Donnie and
- 0:13Speaker 2: all the latest. We'll get to Thanksgiving. We'll get to
- 0:16Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight, there is a front runner and what
- 0:19Speaker 2: are the odds of that front runner getting a nomination.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We'll get to Kathy Hokeel You're not gonna like this.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We'll get to Trump's schedule for the day, some controversial meetings,
- 0:30Speaker 2: and we'll get to Tariff's and a whole lot more so.
- 0:34Speaker 2: If you woke up this morning and try to check
- 0:36Speaker 2: Twitter or a lot of sites, they were down. There
- 0:39Speaker 2: was a big Internet outage. Cloud Fair, the big Internet
- 0:45Speaker 2: cloud that supports all of that, so chat GPT was down.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Number of sites were down. If you go into some
- 0:51Speaker 2: of your favorite websites and they're not working. Internet outage.
- 0:55Speaker 2: The biggest one was Twitter x being totally disabled. By
- 1:00Speaker 2: now they're looking at whether it was some sort of
- 1:01Speaker 2: hack or something. They're saying it was unusual traffic that
- 1:05Speaker 2: caused it. That sounds like a hack, but we'll see
- 1:08Speaker 2: that's the most frightening hack of all. Imagine if somebody
- 1:11Speaker 2: knocked out the Internet. How would you exist? How would
- 1:13Speaker 2: you survive? You know, if you've got in a time
- 1:16Speaker 2: machine and you went back about twenty five years, thirty years,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you wouldn't know what to do all day. You could
- 1:25Speaker 2: watch TV, you could make phone calls on a landline,
- 1:29Speaker 2: you could read an actual physical newspaper, but when you're
- 1:34Speaker 2: walking around you'd have nothing. Nothing. How do you check
- 1:39Speaker 2: your email? Well, it didn't exist back then. You'd have
- 1:41Speaker 2: to wait to get a letter in the mail. It
- 1:42Speaker 2: was a very strange world back then. Now Epstein Files
- 1:48Speaker 2: House will vote today. They are expected to vote overwhelmingly
- 1:54Speaker 2: to release all the files. Then it goes to the
- 1:57Speaker 2: Senate and we'll see what the Senate does. Most likely
- 2:00Speaker 2: vote to release it. Now, remember the president has control
- 2:04Speaker 2: of the files. He could release him anytime. Now here's
- 2:07Speaker 2: the other products. They vote to release them. When would
- 2:11Speaker 2: that happen? Well, believe it or not? What's today? Tuesday?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Thursday is the final day of Congress. Then they go
- 2:16Speaker 2: on like an eleven day vacation for Thanksgiving. Yeah, that's right,
- 2:21Speaker 2: So it wouldn't happen till well after the Thanksgiving holiday.
- 2:25Speaker 2: But the president, if he wants to could start releasing
- 2:27Speaker 2: them tonight, or good time to release him was during Thanksgiving,
- 2:32Speaker 2: during the vacation member's way or Friday night. Just release
- 2:34Speaker 2: them Friday night. Could start doing that, he has said,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and he's got a good point. It's basically democrats in
- 2:43Speaker 2: the file. Trump is asked yesterday all day about the Hey,
- 2:46Speaker 2: by the way, his voice is hoarse yesterday, he's got
- 2:49Speaker 2: a horse voice and it's a raspy voice. Now he
- 2:52Speaker 2: actually told reporters he's not sick. He said he was
- 2:55Speaker 2: yelling at somebody for a long time, and that's why
- 2:57Speaker 2: he was horse yelling at another country and a trade deal.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I feel great.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I was shouting at people because they were stupid about
- 3:06Speaker 3: something having to do with trade in a country, and
- 3:11Speaker 3: I straighten it out.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so they were fighting about tariffs, and now Democrats
- 3:16Speaker 2: will tell you how bad tariffs are. They'll argue against tariffs.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They'll keep screaming about tariffs because if you put a
- 3:22Speaker 2: tariff on a corporation or a business, it's going to
- 3:25Speaker 2: cause them to have to raise their prices. So if
- 3:28Speaker 2: you think, well, that sounds good, you got to remember it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Nobody puts more tariffs on businesses than Democrats, they call
- 3:35Speaker 2: it corporate tax increase. Increase the corporate tax, Well, that's
- 3:40Speaker 2: a tariff. It's just done here in this country. So
- 3:43Speaker 2: if you think tariffs would make the price of goods
- 3:46Speaker 2: go up, obviously, if you increase the corporate tax, if
- 3:50Speaker 2: you raise the tax rates on those corporations, that's a tariff.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It's going to cause exactly the same price increase. In fact,
- 3:57Speaker 2: more of a price increase, because there's really nothing you
- 4:00Speaker 2: do when you do tariffs. It's coming from another country,
- 4:03Speaker 2: so there's another company involved, and there's like three middle
- 4:05Speaker 2: men in between. Some of them can all take a
- 4:09Speaker 2: little cut and avoid the price increase. But when you
- 4:12Speaker 2: put the tariff on the corporation in the United States
- 4:14Speaker 2: and you call it an increase in corporate tax, there's
- 4:18Speaker 2: no middle men, nobody. The corporation has to raise the price.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So Trump, with his raspy voice, was asked about the
- 4:25Speaker 2: Epstein files, and he's all for releasing him.
- 4:27Speaker 3: We have nothing to do with Epstein and Democrats. All
- 4:31Speaker 3: of his friends were Democrats.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You look at this.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Redhoff and you look at Larry Summers, Bill Clinton. They
- 4:37Speaker 3: went to his island all the time. Many of this
- 4:40Speaker 3: oral Democrats.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Now, he's got a point there. Trump had nothing to
- 4:43Speaker 2: do with Epstein. He was friendly with him a million
- 4:45Speaker 2: years ago for a year or two, found out what
- 4:47Speaker 2: he was up to, cut him off, threw him out
- 4:49Speaker 2: of Marrow Lago. That's twenty years ago. So that was
- 4:52Speaker 2: the end of Epstein. F him twenty one years ago. Actually,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but all his friends were Democrats. Now, I'm sure there's
- 4:58Speaker 2: a couple of Republicans mixed in there somewhere, I'm sure,
- 5:01Speaker 2: but you got to remember one of the reasons all
- 5:02Speaker 2: his friends are democrats. Epstein was a guy operating in
- 5:06Speaker 2: New York, the Upper East Side, in a democratic world.
- 5:09Speaker 2: In the world that Epstein existed in, it was mostly
- 5:12Speaker 2: you know, it's like New York politics, it's mostly Democrats.
- 5:16Speaker 2: So you know Larry Summers Harvard. By the way, Larry
- 5:19Speaker 2: Summers was the president of Harvard. He was Clinton's treasury secretary.
- 5:24Speaker 2: He's the first victim of these Epstein files being released. Now,
- 5:28Speaker 2: some of them got released because they came from the
- 5:30Speaker 2: estate of Jeffrey Epstein, which had all of his texts
- 5:33Speaker 2: in his emails. That the Larry Summers stuff has been released,
- 5:36Speaker 2: it's very embarrassing. He's a married man who's running around
- 5:40Speaker 2: with women all over the world, and he's Larry Summers.
- 5:43Speaker 2: He's not exactly a dashing playboy type, so he's not
- 5:48Speaker 2: very good with these women. So he's constantly texting Epstein
- 5:52Speaker 2: for advice. You know, she told me this, she said,
- 5:54Speaker 2: she's busy. What do I do? I was supposed to
- 5:57Speaker 2: see her this weekend. She canceled. What do I do?
- 5:59Speaker 2: He's begging Epstein for advice on how to woo these
- 6:02Speaker 2: women or win them back, and one of them even
- 6:05Speaker 2: calls Epstein's wingman. So it's embarrassing. Now this is Larry Summers,
- 6:11Speaker 2: who has he just said he's going to withdraw. Now
- 6:16Speaker 2: you put out a statement at Harvard. I am deeply
- 6:20Speaker 2: ashamed of my actions and recognize the pain they have caused,
- 6:24Speaker 2: Summers wrote, I take full responsibility for my misguided decision
- 6:29Speaker 2: to continue communicating with mister Epstein. So he's not apologizing
- 6:35Speaker 2: for what he did, the cheating the women. He's just
- 6:38Speaker 2: apologizing for communicating with mister Epstein. And you gotta wonder
- 6:43Speaker 2: what kind of idiot puts this in writing. Why is
- 6:45Speaker 2: he texting this and emailing this? Why don't you call him?
- 6:48Speaker 2: You know, certain things. You don't put it in writing.
- 6:50Speaker 2: You call and you do it verbally. You remember Pauline
- 6:54Speaker 2: and Goodfellows. He said, you never talk on the phone
- 6:58Speaker 2: if you can talk in person, and you're never talk
- 7:01Speaker 2: in person if you can nod. So Larry Summer's got
- 7:05Speaker 2: to learn this stuff if he's gonna do all this cheating.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Summers is withdrawing from a public stuff. What is that? Well,
- 7:14Speaker 2: he has a lot of roles. He's a senior fellow
- 7:16Speaker 2: at the think tank Center for American Progress. That's one
- 7:20Speaker 2: of those left wing kook sites on one of those
- 7:22Speaker 2: Soros funded kind of deals. He's a paid columnist with
- 7:25Speaker 2: Bloomberg News, another left wing thing. He's a board member
- 7:29Speaker 2: at Open AI's. He says he will remain as a
- 7:33Speaker 2: professor at Harvard, but he will while continue to fulfilling
- 7:39Speaker 2: my teaching obligations. He says, I will be stepping back
- 7:42Speaker 2: from public commitments as part of my broader effort. So
- 7:48Speaker 2: he's one of the first guys just to be damaged.
- 7:50Speaker 2: His career messed up by Epstein. The files listen. There's
- 7:56Speaker 2: no such thing as a client list. Epstein did not
- 7:59Speaker 2: have a set business. There were always a lot of
- 8:02Speaker 2: women at his parties of all ages. These young girls.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Epstein liked the young girls. That was for him, that
- 8:09Speaker 2: was his little fetish, these young girls. Now, there may
- 8:11Speaker 2: have been a friend or two that got involved with that.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Prince Andrews believed had gotten involved with that, but you're
- 8:19Speaker 2: not going to find. There's no such thing as a
- 8:20Speaker 2: client list. He wasn't running a sex business. The only
- 8:23Speaker 2: client list he had was for his wealth management business.
- 8:26Speaker 2: And that's only about six names. Here's more of Trump
- 8:29Speaker 2: on Epstein.
- 8:30Speaker 3: No matter what we gave is never enough.
- 8:31Speaker 4: You know.
- 8:32Speaker 3: With Kennedy, we gave everything, and it wasn't enough. With
- 8:35Speaker 3: Martin Luther King, we gave everything, and it's never enough.
- 8:39Speaker 3: We've already given. I believe the number is fifty thousand pages,
- 8:44Speaker 3: fifty thousand pages, and it's just a Russia Russia Russia
- 8:49Speaker 3: hoax as it pertains to the Republicans.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got a good point there. If they release
- 8:53Speaker 2: everything in the world democrats in the media, you know
- 8:56Speaker 2: how crazy they get with their Trump derangement syndrome, they'll
- 8:59Speaker 2: be screaming it. The things have been redacted. It's a
- 9:02Speaker 2: cover up. They destroyed, they scrubbed. No matter what you release,
- 9:07Speaker 2: it won't be enough. You know, the assassination attempt on
- 9:10Speaker 2: President Trump. There's a good example. There's an excellent example.
- 9:15Speaker 2: We're watching live on TV as a guy shoots at him,
- 9:18Speaker 2: and Democrats in the media, many of them. You remember this,
- 9:21Speaker 2: They started saying it wasn't real and if you look
- 9:23Speaker 2: at his ear, the way the blood came out wasn't real.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It was obviously faked. It was obviously stage. Well, what
- 9:29Speaker 2: about the guy that got shot behind him and his
- 9:31Speaker 2: dead well, that who They changed the subject. It's always
- 9:34Speaker 2: these weird conspiracy theories. So no matter what is released,
- 9:38Speaker 2: it won't be enough. I don't care.
- 9:39Speaker 5: About it released or not what I think you should do.
- 9:42Speaker 5: If you're going to do it, then you have to
- 9:44Speaker 5: go into Epstein's friends. This read often spent a lot
- 9:49Speaker 5: of time on the island. Why was debor on his island?
- 9:53Speaker 5: Bill Clint is there supposedly twenty eight times?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, all these reporters, all these microphones in
- 10:00Speaker 2: front of Trump. When it turns out Epstein, Epstein, Epstein,
- 10:02Speaker 2: where are they? Why aren't they in Schappaquay? I asked
- 10:04Speaker 2: Bill Clinton these questions. Go find ried Hoffman and ask
- 10:08Speaker 2: him these questions. Ask Epstein's real friends. Trump knew him
- 10:11Speaker 2: briefly a million years ago, but ask his friends of
- 10:14Speaker 2: the last twenty years these questions. But you know in
- 10:16Speaker 2: the media, they're not going to do that.
- 10:17Speaker 3: They can do whatever they want.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Uh Yeah, So anyway, let's get to Mom Donnie. It
- 10:24Speaker 2: looks like Jessica Tish will stay for the time being.
- 10:27Speaker 2: We don't know what will happen, but they've had a
- 10:29Speaker 2: couple of conversations and Mom Donnie is now being a
- 10:34Speaker 2: little more positive about her staying.
- 10:35Speaker 6: I do want her to stay, and I made that
- 10:37Speaker 6: commitment during the election. That's something that I continue to believe.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Will she stay in that office.
- 10:42Speaker 7: I continue to be confident in my decision.
- 10:43Speaker 2: She has said more than once that the officers, she
- 10:45Speaker 2: wants more of them, and you don't. You don't have
- 10:48Speaker 2: that in your in your in your positions.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Yet I think that the number of officers that we
- 10:52Speaker 6: have is the right amount. I think the better question, frankly,
- 10:55Speaker 6: that is often lost in our politics is how do
- 10:57Speaker 6: we keep those officers on the force?
- 10:59Speaker 2: No, No, that's interesting because under certain conditions, like Mom Donnie,
- 11:03Speaker 2: you got officers resigning or taking their pension and getting out,
- 11:06Speaker 2: or a lot of them go somewhere else, and you know,
- 11:10Speaker 2: you know a lot of them live in Nassau County, Suffolk, Rockland.
- 11:12Speaker 2: They'll go join that police force. But that's interesting. Of course,
- 11:16Speaker 2: we were assuming he's telling the truth. Who knows what
- 11:18Speaker 2: this guy that he doesn't want to lose any officers,
- 11:21Speaker 2: that he does want to keep the current amount. Jessica
- 11:24Speaker 2: tish that you want to be mayor. I am a
- 11:26Speaker 2: public servant, not a politician. Okay, but you know there
- 11:28Speaker 2: may be a call for you to jump into the
- 11:30Speaker 2: mayor's race. Would you consider if there was a big
- 11:35Speaker 2: recruitment being know.
- 11:36Speaker 8: My dream was to be the sanitation commissioner.
- 11:39Speaker 9: I remember when you were a really dared dream of
- 11:42Speaker 9: being police commissioner.
- 11:44Speaker 2: But this is the job for me for sure. Sorry,
- 11:49Speaker 2: now that these are very political answers. Now you got
- 11:51Speaker 2: to remember mom, Donnie once he gets into office has
- 11:54Speaker 2: just I'm assuming he wants to be re elected and
- 11:57Speaker 2: be mayor for a second term. He's got to worry
- 12:00Speaker 2: about his competition and he's already fighting with a lot
- 12:05Speaker 2: of Democrats. You know, somebody might try to primary him out.
- 12:07Speaker 2: There was Brad Lander who was in that primary. He
- 12:10Speaker 2: and Lander have had some sort of a breakup and fight,
- 12:14Speaker 2: and he made a very weird announcement, Brad Lander will
- 12:18Speaker 2: have no role in my administration. So it's a real
- 12:20Speaker 2: slap in the face to him and that Democratic Socialist Association,
- 12:24Speaker 2: whatever that is. Apparently there's some fighting there between Mom
- 12:27Speaker 2: Dannie and them. But he's got to worry about the
- 12:29Speaker 2: opponent next time around, and Jessica Tish would be a
- 12:33Speaker 2: very very likely one. So he's got a figure. What
- 12:36Speaker 2: can he do to keep her on the team. That's
- 12:39Speaker 2: another reason he might want to keep her as police commissioner,
- 12:42Speaker 2: because if she continues to work for him, it would
- 12:44Speaker 2: look too weird to run against him all of a sudden.
- 12:48Speaker 2: It would look a little treacherous. So he might want
- 12:50Speaker 2: to keep her there for that reason. Also, if he
- 12:52Speaker 2: gets rid of her, if she leaves, she could get very,
- 12:57Speaker 2: very very vocal about what's wrong with him and what
- 12:59Speaker 2: he's doing wrong and be a serious critic. This may
- 13:05Speaker 2: sound crazy, but don't be surprised if Eric Adams tries
- 13:08Speaker 2: to run against him when he's up for reelection. There
- 13:10Speaker 2: may be a battle between him and Adams. They're already
- 13:13Speaker 2: sniping at each other here's mom Donald.
- 13:15Speaker 7: New Yorkers are on the brink of being priced out
- 13:17Speaker 7: of the city that they call home, and his actions
- 13:20Speaker 7: have little to do with that affordability crisis. And what
- 13:23Speaker 7: they show, in fact, is why New Yorkers are so
- 13:26Speaker 7: desperate for a new administration, one that will focus on
- 13:29Speaker 7: the needs of the city and we'll look to speak
- 13:32Speaker 7: to working class New Yorkers as to what those needs
- 13:35Speaker 7: are as opposed to war criminals.
- 13:37Speaker 2: There's a lot of double talk from this guy. But
- 13:39Speaker 2: this affordability crisis is taking place. But if you'll notice,
- 13:44Speaker 2: it's only taking place in blue cities wherever Democrats are
- 13:48Speaker 2: running things, that's where you get the affordability crisis. And
- 13:51Speaker 2: we get a real left wing socialist type democrat, you
- 13:54Speaker 2: get a real affordability crisis. That's where it's the worst.
- 13:58Speaker 2: And I love how these democrats talking about the affordability
- 14:02Speaker 2: crisis in New York. Well, New York's been run by
- 14:05Speaker 2: Democrats for fifteen years. Every inch of it is Democrats.
- 14:08Speaker 2: It's the mayor's a Democrat, the Governor's a Democrat, the
- 14:11Speaker 2: City Council is a Democrat. The Legislature, the Senate, the
- 14:14Speaker 2: Assembly all Democrats. So if you've got an affordability crisis,
- 14:18Speaker 2: you can blame the Democrats. And again, look around the country.
- 14:21Speaker 2: You got a red state, red city, pretty good, think
- 14:23Speaker 2: economy is booming, blue city, blue state. You got an
- 14:27Speaker 2: affordability crisis. So hey, we'll get to twenty twenty eight.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Coming up, Newsom. Gavin Newsom still way out in the
- 14:34Speaker 2: lead in all the polls. Every bit of polling shows
- 14:37Speaker 2: Newsom way out in front. And now, if you check
- 14:40Speaker 2: historically it comes to Democrat nominations, whoever the early front
- 14:45Speaker 2: runner is always gets the nomination every time. The only time,
- 14:51Speaker 2: the only one exception, Hillary Clinton in two thousand and eight.
- 14:54Speaker 2: That's the only exception. But that's because an extraordinary guy,
- 15:00Speaker 2: Barack Obama, I mean extraordinary as far as a personality,
- 15:04Speaker 2: articulate Cayman just took the nomination from her in two
- 15:08Speaker 2: thousand and eight. But every other case, whoever's the front
- 15:12Speaker 2: runner now gets the nomination. Right now, Gavin Newsom way
- 15:16Speaker 2: out in front. Hey, next year's the governor's election here
- 15:19Speaker 2: in New York, latest poll shows Hochel I don't mean upset,
- 15:25Speaker 2: but the latest poll shows hocal with a twenty point
- 15:29Speaker 2: lead over Elise Stephonic twenty points over Elise Stephonic. Now,
- 15:36Speaker 2: of course that's very very early. A lot of people
- 15:38Speaker 2: aren't familiar with her. Yet things could change. And if
- 15:41Speaker 2: you're Bruce Blakeman, you got to be looking at that
- 15:43Speaker 2: saying twenty point lead. I don't know if I want
- 15:45Speaker 2: to jump into that, but Blakeman would probably be a
- 15:48Speaker 2: much stronger candidate than a Lease Stephonic. I know they
- 15:52Speaker 2: say it's good to have a woman against a woman,
- 15:54Speaker 2: and I forget all that. At least Stephonic is great,
- 15:57Speaker 2: but she's a talker. She's a legislator. Blakeman's an executive,
- 16:02Speaker 2: a governor. Basically, he's the governor of Nassau County. That's
- 16:05Speaker 2: what a county executive is. He'd be the perfect replacement anyway,
- 16:10Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly. In a few minutes, we'll take some calls.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is
- 16:17Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three two one zero seven.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Ten, Mister George marks amount seven ten wr.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:32Speaker 2: seven ten is the number eight hundred three two one
- 16:36Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Let's go to GINO, Upstate New York. Gino,
- 16:39Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 16:41Speaker 10: Mark?
- 16:42Speaker 2: How are you Mark good? What's going on?
- 16:44Speaker 10: Just want to ask you when you had that radio
- 16:47Speaker 10: show on Saturday Nights? Was the late eighties or the
- 16:50Speaker 10: early nineties?
- 16:51Speaker 2: That was actually in the two thousands. You're talking about,
- 16:53Speaker 2: which one the Saturday night oldie.
- 16:55Speaker 10: Show, Saturday Night with Sinatra?
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh, that was in the two thousand, two, two thousand
- 17:00Speaker 2: and three, something like that, oh.
- 17:01Speaker 10: Two thousand. I just want to let you know I
- 17:04Speaker 10: taped every one of those shows. I got all your
- 17:06Speaker 10: tapes on cassettes.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Cassettes, Yeah, cassettes.
- 17:11Speaker 10: I went on board cassettes. I taped every day. I
- 17:13Speaker 10: listened to the show when I went to my woo
- 17:15Speaker 10: wood shop and I'm making things, and you have it
- 17:17Speaker 10: all day long with me.
- 17:19Speaker 2: What do you play them? Do you have a cassette recorder,
- 17:20Speaker 2: a cassette player?
- 17:21Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 17:22Speaker 10: Yeah, have good ones?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah? All right, all right, thanks for calling Geno. Now,
- 17:27Speaker 2: believe it or not, all the shows I did in
- 17:29Speaker 2: the eighties and nineties are on cassettes. So at some point,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and there's millions of them with all the biggest names,
- 17:37Speaker 2: the biggest stars, this guest, I want to save them
- 17:40Speaker 2: and digitize them. It's a pain in the neck, finding
- 17:44Speaker 2: cassette recorders that still actually work, a cassette player that
- 17:47Speaker 2: still actually works. Dan, I got all the shows from
- 17:51Speaker 2: the two thousands. They're all on CDs, the early two thousands.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Not some of those. Believe when you record a CD
- 17:58Speaker 2: connect the sound could almost have to operate off them
- 18:01Speaker 2: twenty years later. It's not easy. Let's go to Georgia
- 18:04Speaker 2: and Long Island. George, how you doing.
- 18:07Speaker 12: I'm fine, Mark, Just a quick comment. At least the
- 18:10Speaker 12: fanic is terrific. She's a Harvard girl, but she doesn't
- 18:13Speaker 12: have that one thing after her name with a D letter.
- 18:15Speaker 12: We could talk about Juliani, the other former Republican governor.
- 18:21Speaker 12: That's ancient history. It's New York is a democratic state,
- 18:25Speaker 12: and that's it. Unfortunately, it's my opinion.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Actually a lot of a lot of Republicans have been
- 18:31Speaker 2: elected governor, mayor. It happens all the time.
- 18:33Speaker 12: You had many years ago, Mark.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Last one was Bloomberg, last tackling.
- 18:41Speaker 12: How many years ago is that?
- 18:42Speaker 2: Well, it's not fifty years ago.
- 18:45Speaker 13: It's like whatever it was twenty years ago. I don't
- 18:48Speaker 13: mean to your smarter guy than me.
- 18:50Speaker 12: She doesn't have a chance. Can I say one other comment.
- 18:52Speaker 2: No, no, I'm going to cut you off. You got
- 18:55Speaker 2: to stop with that. Yeah, have a chance. That's why
- 18:58Speaker 2: Republicans have a tough time art this mantra they did.
- 19:02Speaker 2: You did this to Curtis. You start the stupid mantra
- 19:05Speaker 2: a chance, you don't never chance, you don't have a chance,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and then you all talk yourself into it. That's why
- 19:10Speaker 2: you don't get any Republican turnout because you keep telling
- 19:12Speaker 2: every any Republican you start yelling a chance. Stop it.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Stop doing that. Let's go to Shelley in Long Island. Shelley,
- 19:19Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 19:21Speaker 14: Hey, Mark, good morning, love the show.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Mark.
- 19:24Speaker 14: I love Trump more than anyone else. I'm not sure
- 19:30Speaker 14: maybe close companies.
- 19:31Speaker 2: More than your husband.
- 19:35Speaker 4: On that.
- 19:35Speaker 14: But Mark, no one is really getting arrested for any
- 19:41Speaker 14: of the corruption, and it's getting Are.
- 19:43Speaker 2: You talking about it? And you're talking about you got
- 19:46Speaker 2: Letitia James, you got two other.
- 19:48Speaker 14: Fi I read in the New York Post today there's
- 19:52Speaker 14: an article that the prosecutors may have blown the Komy case.
- 19:56Speaker 2: No, that's not that's not that's not what it said.
- 19:58Speaker 2: It didn't say anything kind. It said that there were
- 20:01Speaker 2: missteps in the prosecution and that they have to release
- 20:05Speaker 2: the whole grand jury transcript instead of partial and it
- 20:08Speaker 2: went to a higher court which ruled against the lower court.
- 20:11Speaker 2: And it's just little technical things. Now, Remember, the good
- 20:15Speaker 2: news is Komy is not arguing that he's not guilty.
- 20:18Speaker 2: He's arguing that there were procedural mistakes which can always
- 20:21Speaker 2: be corrected.
- 20:22Speaker 14: All right, well, let's hope that we get a prosecution
- 20:24Speaker 14: because we really do.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Well, you got one now taking place, actually have several
- 20:28Speaker 2: taking place right now, and the Kombe case, it's a
- 20:30Speaker 2: good sign that he couldn't argue anything except procedural stuff.
- 20:34Speaker 14: So okay, well, thanks for your vote of confidence on that.
- 20:37Speaker 2: All right, don't panic. Let's go to Joanne in New Jersey. Joanne,
- 20:41Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 20:43Speaker 5: Hi?
- 20:43Speaker 13: Mark?
- 20:44Speaker 15: And this is a serious question. Are they going to
- 20:47Speaker 15: pat down Mamdani before it gets too temper?
- 20:52Speaker 2: What do you mean search him?
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 20:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Anybody goes into the White House, you go
- 20:57Speaker 2: through a metal detector, you go through the whole thing,
- 20:58Speaker 2: you go through an X ray machine. Yeah, everybody goes
- 21:01Speaker 2: through that.
- 21:02Speaker 14: Yeah, okay, thanks Mark.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, like if you go to mar A Lago,
- 21:09Speaker 2: if you went today right now on a Tuesday, tomorrow, Lago.
- 21:12Speaker 2: It's a lot of security. You get checked in and
- 21:15Speaker 2: all that you go there. But if Trump is there
- 21:17Speaker 2: and you go forget it, it's like a forty minute
- 21:21Speaker 2: process to get in there. You get searched, you got
- 21:23Speaker 2: to empty your pockets, you got to go through an
- 21:25Speaker 2: X ray machine, you get wanded. If you show up
- 21:27Speaker 2: in a car, they stop your car, they search your car.
- 21:30Speaker 2: They have a guy with a big long pole with
- 21:32Speaker 2: a mirror. They stick it under your car. With this mirror,
- 21:35Speaker 2: they look under your car. It takes like an hour
- 21:38Speaker 2: to get in there. So yeah, they do search everybody.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Let's go to sal in Long Island. Sal. How you doing?
- 21:45Speaker 13: Yes, holy good morning.
- 21:46Speaker 15: Yes.
- 21:47Speaker 16: If when the police confiscate drugs, these large amount of drugs,
- 21:55Speaker 16: pounds of it, instead of just vouching and send it
- 21:58Speaker 16: and send it to be thrown away and dispose of,
- 22:02Speaker 16: how about they just lace it with some chemical that
- 22:04Speaker 16: makes the buyer sick.
- 22:06Speaker 2: No, no, no, the police can't do that and they
- 22:08Speaker 2: can't do that. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly
- 22:11Speaker 2: will be with us next. Let's see what he thinks
- 22:13Speaker 2: about all of this. We'll get to that in the moment.
- 22:14Speaker 2: On seven to ten wor.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Give WR a bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 22:21Speaker 1: hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simo Show on wor.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Well number one TVA go for decades. The biggest best
- 22:33Speaker 2: selling non fiction author on Earth, Bill O'Reilly's latest book.
- 22:36Speaker 2: You should get it. It's Confronting Evil. It's a big
- 22:39Speaker 2: best seller in a great book, Confronting Evil. Also watch
- 22:42Speaker 2: his YouTube channel. He can get the TV show the column.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly.
- 22:50Speaker 13: How you doing hanging chap Mark?
- 22:52Speaker 2: How you I'm good? Hey? The Epstein files the Democrats
- 22:58Speaker 2: setting themselves up for a huge disappointment when they're finally released.
- 23:04Speaker 13: I don't know if anybody really believes that there's anything
- 23:07Speaker 13: going to affect the outcome of the country in this.
- 23:11Speaker 11: It's hope they're.
- 23:12Speaker 13: Hoping it does. But I don't know anybody who really
- 23:17Speaker 13: believes that there's something in there that's going to topple
- 23:22Speaker 13: President Trump with the Republican Party. I mean, it would
- 23:25Speaker 13: just be inconceivable that that would be there because of
- 23:31Speaker 13: the Biden Justice Department would have known it.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it just.
- 23:36Speaker 13: You know, if you follow logic, it just doesn't make
- 23:38Speaker 13: any sense. So this is all through hysteria, and you
- 23:43Speaker 13: know the late autumn people are bored. They don't know
- 23:46Speaker 13: what they do, and you know, the television networks gin
- 23:52Speaker 13: it up. But I'm not expecting anything.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you know the Democrats, I know they want to
- 23:59Speaker 2: get Trump, but they keep thinking there's some sort of
- 24:01Speaker 2: scandal that's going to bring him down, and they keep
- 24:03Speaker 2: looking for this scandal. But this is We're in the
- 24:06Speaker 2: tenth year of this. Now. Can they ever stop and
- 24:10Speaker 2: actually realize there's no scandal that's that's not the way
- 24:14Speaker 2: to bring it.
- 24:15Speaker 13: It's like Fenton All. They can't stop, and they're just
- 24:18Speaker 13: addicted to it. They've got to do it every day,
- 24:23Speaker 13: you know, they can't. And you know people who hate
- 24:28Speaker 13: Trump like that, right, Yeah, I get emails from friends
- 24:33Speaker 13: they just hate them so much they've lost all capacity
- 24:36Speaker 13: for reason. And no, I thought Joe Biden was a
- 24:42Speaker 13: terrible president, and I get back that up one hundred ways.
- 24:45Speaker 13: And they really did a lot of damage to the
- 24:47Speaker 13: infrastructure of the country. But I didn't hate him, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 13: I didn't want to wish him ill. And but the Democrats,
- 24:56Speaker 13: particularly the progressives, have crossed over into that you we
- 25:00Speaker 13: want him to die, we want him to get cancer.
- 25:02Speaker 13: That's where they are. I mean, that's pretty unhealthy if
- 25:05Speaker 13: you ask me. Yeah, and no, I don't believe that
- 25:09Speaker 13: there's anything out there that hasn't been uncovered yet that's
- 25:13Speaker 13: going to prevent his last three years in office.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Now, as the great historian Bill O'Reilly, was there ever
- 25:20Speaker 2: a period where we went through this before, where there
- 25:21Speaker 2: was some president where half the public was got enraged
- 25:25Speaker 2: at the mere mention of his name.
- 25:30Speaker 13: Two very good questions. So in modern times, Ronald Reagan
- 25:38Speaker 13: was loathed by the left, but they didn't have the
- 25:42Speaker 13: vehicle to deliver the loathing. So you only had three
- 25:46Speaker 13: network television networks any of local news. And I was
- 25:50Speaker 13: working then, but in the newsrooms where I was visceral
- 25:58Speaker 13: hatred of Reagan, but there was no where to get
- 26:03Speaker 13: it out. Now, the difference is everybody's got a podcast,
- 26:08Speaker 13: everybody's social media. You know, it's around the clock, so
- 26:13Speaker 13: that makes it heightened. There have been presidents that have
- 26:17Speaker 13: been very alienating. Andrew Jackson bore a lot of people
- 26:22Speaker 13: didn't like him. Abraham Lincoln was probably the most vilified,
- 26:29Speaker 13: even more than Donald Trump. When I talked to the President,
- 26:32Speaker 13: he is nobody's ever gotten it as bad as I have.
- 26:35Speaker 13: And I said, with one exception, Abraham Lincoln. He doesn't
- 26:40Speaker 13: like to hear that, but it's absolutely true because the
- 26:42Speaker 13: South and those who believed in slavery really wanted him
- 26:48Speaker 13: dead Lincoln and they got their wish.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Wow, Hey, mom, Donnie looks like he's going to meet
- 26:55Speaker 2: with Trump. What can actually come of such a meeting?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Mo'm Donnie and Trump?
- 27:00Speaker 13: Well, as I said last night on television, I hope
- 27:04Speaker 13: everybody checks out the Noseman News bill. O'Reilly dot com
- 27:07Speaker 13: is where we live and you can get it in
- 27:09Speaker 13: a million different places. In order for Donald Trump to
- 27:13Speaker 13: meet with you, Mark Simone, okay or O'Reilly, you've got
- 27:19Speaker 13: to know what the meeting is going to entail. So
- 27:24Speaker 13: he just doesn't meet with people unless he knows what
- 27:27Speaker 13: it's about. And I'm kind of like that too. I mean,
- 27:31Speaker 13: I'm busy, and you know, I can't say come on
- 27:34Speaker 13: in for Coco. I you know, I just can't time
- 27:39Speaker 13: to do it with Mandanni. Mandannie's going to have to
- 27:43Speaker 13: give Trump something to get that meeting, and it was
- 27:48Speaker 13: the same thing. When I went to Beijing. I said,
- 27:51Speaker 13: if you want the president to come here to this city,
- 27:55Speaker 13: and this was in May. I said, you got to
- 27:57Speaker 13: give him some And now I think President Trump's gonna
- 28:02Speaker 13: go in April to Beijing. And then the Chinese communists
- 28:07Speaker 13: who were involved with this Q and A with me,
- 28:11Speaker 13: they were what might that be? And I said, well,
- 28:13Speaker 13: the easiest way is to get out of the fentanyl business.
- 28:15Speaker 13: And that's exactly what happened in Korea. And they said,
- 28:19Speaker 13: I mean, who knows what they do. So Man Donnie's
- 28:22Speaker 13: gonna have to say or his people will tell Trump's people. Look,
- 28:27Speaker 13: the mayor is willing to do this, and I assume
- 28:31Speaker 13: it'll be on immigration. I assume that'll be the area.
- 28:36Speaker 13: And if Trump thinks it's enough, then he'll say to
- 28:41Speaker 13: Man Donnie, all right, I'll give you an hour, come
- 28:44Speaker 13: on down to DC. That's how it works.
- 28:47Speaker 2: That's fascinating. Now. I wouldn't it be better if he said,
- 28:51Speaker 2: promise me, you'll leave the police department alone, you won't
- 28:54Speaker 2: interfere with them.
- 28:56Speaker 13: Well that would take place in the meeting itself, all right.
- 29:00Speaker 13: So the stairstep is this, and I hope Man Doon
- 29:04Speaker 13: is listening right now because he doesn't know. He's thirty
- 29:07Speaker 13: four years old. He doesn't know anything, all right, So
- 29:10Speaker 13: Mandonnie is going to have to give Trump something. He'll
- 29:13Speaker 13: probably be on immigration. He'll probably say, we're not gonna
- 29:17Speaker 13: bother the Ice agents. Just don't make a big show
- 29:19Speaker 13: out of it. They can operate and will cooperate when
- 29:24Speaker 13: they're looking for criminal migrants. That's probably what Mayor mandon
- 29:27Speaker 13: is going to say. Often he's not going to say it,
- 29:30Speaker 13: but his people will no one he gets into the
- 29:32Speaker 13: Oval office to the meeting, Trump will go is what
- 29:38Speaker 13: I want and he'll give ten things to Mandannie, confusing
- 29:43Speaker 13: the hell out of him because that's a technique that
- 29:48Speaker 13: most powerful people use. And on the sheet will be
- 29:52Speaker 13: you better not cut the police budget, because that's what
- 29:55Speaker 13: man Dottie wants to do. Let's take a billion dollars
- 29:59Speaker 13: out of the police budget, which pretty much defunds the police.
- 30:03Speaker 13: And he wants suspended on social workers or whatever crazy
- 30:07Speaker 13: thing he's got in his mind, which will never work,
- 30:10Speaker 13: and Trump will take that off the table for him.
- 30:13Speaker 13: But Trump is all the power. Man Donnie has no power,
- 30:16Speaker 13: So this is not even a fair fight. Or a
- 30:19Speaker 13: meeting of consequence, Man Dottie's got to go. Okay, mister
- 30:23Speaker 13: president or Trump will say, you know, kiss the federal
- 30:27Speaker 13: money goodbye. I'll hold it up and tell him out
- 30:29Speaker 13: of office. That's how it's going to go.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Well, it sounds like you're optimistic about this meeting. That's
- 30:35Speaker 2: something good will come of this.
- 30:37Speaker 13: I don't know about that, because what they say and
- 30:41Speaker 13: what they do, they being politicians, are a lot of
- 30:46Speaker 13: times not the same. But you have to understand how
- 30:49Speaker 13: weak a position that man Donnie has. He has nothing.
- 30:54Speaker 13: He is no, he can't say anything to Trump that
- 30:59Speaker 13: matters because you know what I mean power, And the
- 31:02Speaker 13: same thing with Hochel, Hogle's is weak. If Hokle were
- 31:05Speaker 13: a strong governor, she could make basically strong arm and
- 31:10Speaker 13: Donnie into knocking off full of socialist garbage.
- 31:14Speaker 11: But she's not.
- 31:15Speaker 13: She's weak. She's afraid of the progressive left. But man
- 31:20Speaker 13: Donnah had no power in all butity. He has no
- 31:22Speaker 13: power in Washington. His his power very very limited. He
- 31:27Speaker 13: doesn't even have power over the unions, the teachers union
- 31:31Speaker 13: in New York and to do exactly what they want.
- 31:33Speaker 13: Man Donnie's not gonna be able to tell him what
- 31:34Speaker 13: to do. He'll be lucky if he gets the garbage
- 31:37Speaker 13: picked up three times a week. I'm not being fasicious.
- 31:43Speaker 13: If the sanitation Union doesn't want to pick up the garbage,
- 31:46Speaker 13: what is man Donnah going to do what? He's got
- 31:50Speaker 13: no power none. It's not like coach who if you
- 31:55Speaker 13: were up against Kotch, you better watch you backy thing
- 32:00Speaker 13: with Juliani, same thing with Bloomberg. Those guys that hurt you,
- 32:05Speaker 13: man that he can't hurt you.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. Young guy with no experience
- 32:10Speaker 2: in government.
- 32:11Speaker 13: Yeah, he's got no constituency. He's got a bunch of
- 32:14Speaker 13: people a little malice running around him. Tell him how
- 32:17Speaker 13: great Snowo was. Come on, it's ridiculous.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Well, everybody watch you Bill O'Reilly. Tonight you go to
- 32:24Speaker 2: you get the TV show in the column. Everything's at

- 33:58Speaker 6: More Mark Simone war.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Hey, I got a lot to get to this hour.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Two of the healthiest guys I know, Donald Trump Warren
- 34:12Speaker 2: Buffett Trump almost eighty works day and night. You've seen
- 34:15Speaker 2: them in action. Nobody has more energy. He could be
- 34:18Speaker 2: in three four states in one day. He could just
- 34:21Speaker 2: go NonStop all day and night. This is at seventy nine,
- 34:25Speaker 2: eighty years old. And what does he eat all day? Junk?
- 34:28Speaker 2: He eats McDonald's. He eats cheeseburgers, he eats drinks those milkshakes.
- 34:33Speaker 2: He eats nothing but junk all day now. Warren Buffett
- 34:38Speaker 2: ninety three, ninety four years old. This guy does not
- 34:41Speaker 2: eat anything except McDonald's. He said, breakfast at McDonald's, sausage
- 34:45Speaker 2: and eggs, sandwich from McDonald's every day of his life.
- 34:51Speaker 2: He eats McDonald's at night, or a steak. He eats
- 34:54Speaker 2: a lot of steak. He eats candy, sees candy, which
- 34:58Speaker 2: is incredible. Can he bought the company years ago? Eats
- 35:02Speaker 2: dairy Queen all the time. He bought the company years ago,
- 35:06Speaker 2: has peanut brittle for lunch, eats nothing but junk food.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Has the diet of a ten year old, eats junk
- 35:14Speaker 2: day and night. He's ninety three, healthy as can be.
- 35:16Speaker 2: How does he do it.
- 35:19Speaker 17: Well?
- 35:19Speaker 2: One thing Buffet always says, he gets eight hours of
- 35:22Speaker 2: sleep every night, non negotiable. He said, you can worry
- 35:24Speaker 2: about diet, exercise, all that, but sleep, eight solid hours
- 35:28Speaker 2: of good sleep every night more important for your health
- 35:31Speaker 2: than anything else. He reads. He works twelve hours a day,
- 35:36Speaker 2: just drinks diet coke like Trump, just drinks coke day
- 35:40Speaker 2: and night. That's all. He lives on his coke, which
- 35:42Speaker 2: is a lot of sugar and all that stuff. But
- 35:44Speaker 2: he said, what keeps him young, And it's the same
- 35:47Speaker 2: thing with Trump. He loves his work, lives with like
- 35:51Speaker 2: childlike joy, no stress. Both these guys have tremendous stress,
- 35:56Speaker 2: but to them it's not stress. They love what they're doing,
- 35:59Speaker 2: so it's not stress. You know, you go out and
- 36:00Speaker 2: buy a billion, four billion dollars worth of a stock.
- 36:04Speaker 2: There was a little stress in that, but they don't
- 36:07Speaker 2: feel it now. The only difference with Trump, he doesn't
- 36:08Speaker 2: sleep eight hours a night. He doesn't. But and these
- 36:12Speaker 2: this guy's as healthy as can be at that age,
- 36:14Speaker 2: so you can worry about diet and all that stuff,
- 36:17Speaker 2: but I don't know a lot of it is at geneticut.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Donald Trump made a big speech for McDonald's executive yesterday.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Speaking to McDonald's, he pointed out he was the only
- 36:28Speaker 2: fry cook ever in McDonald's history to become president of
- 36:30Speaker 2: the United States. He was the fry cook there for
- 36:33Speaker 2: about a half hour. But he was speaking at McDonald's.
- 36:35Speaker 3: While other politicians fly around on campaign planes stocked with
- 36:39Speaker 3: expensive catering. On Trump Force one prior to ascending to
- 36:45Speaker 3: Air Force one, which is quite a nice plane. Also,
- 36:48Speaker 3: we served only McDonald's almost every time.
- 36:50Speaker 2: On occasion we couldn't find.
- 36:52Speaker 3: One, which is pretty hard to believe we'd go another route, but.
- 36:55Speaker 5: We really did.
- 36:56Speaker 2: You fed us very.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Well, and I even got Bobby Kennedy to eat a
- 36:59Speaker 3: big mac.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Well, don't feel guilty if you're eating the McDonald's. These
- 37:04Speaker 2: two guys as healthy as anybody, and that's all they eat.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Trump went on to talk about the you know this
- 37:11Speaker 2: big word of affordability, the crisis. That's a crisis. You know,
- 37:15Speaker 2: Biden had inflation of nine percent, Nobody mentioned it. Trump
- 37:19Speaker 2: gets it down to two point five percent. It's a
- 37:21Speaker 2: crisis all of a sudden, but Democrats won't let up.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Nobody has done what we've done in terms of pricing.
- 37:28Speaker 2: We took over a mess.
- 37:29Speaker 3: We have the highest think of it, the highest inflation
- 37:32Speaker 3: in the history of our country. They say, forty eight years.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It was the history of our country. And now we
- 37:38Speaker 3: have normal inflation. We're going to get it a little
- 37:40Speaker 3: bit lower. Frankly, but we have normal. We've normalized it.
- 37:44Speaker 3: We have it down to a low level, but we're
- 37:46Speaker 3: going to get it a little bit lower.
- 37:47Speaker 4: We want perfection.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, the cost of Thanksgiving, they always bring that
- 37:51Speaker 2: up this time of year. Walmart did that study.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Walmart came up last week and they announced that Thanksgiving
- 37:57Speaker 3: this year is twenty five percent less, all of the
- 38:00Speaker 3: accoutrements that Thanksgiving is twenty five percent less than was
- 38:04Speaker 3: last year under sleepy Joe Biden.
- 38:07Speaker 2: So now Democrats are arguing about that little Walmart's thing there.
- 38:14Speaker 2: They said that they switched the Thanksgiving dinner, they switched
- 38:17Speaker 2: certain things to generic versions, they had less items in
- 38:21Speaker 2: the Thanksgiving. Now it's still I trust Walmart more than
- 38:24Speaker 2: I trust these crazy Democrats. Scott Bessett, the Treasury secretary.
- 38:29Speaker 8: Because economic damage is unacceptable. They call it self harm.
- 38:35Speaker 8: They were willing to harm the economy of the United
- 38:38Speaker 8: States to benefit a party and chaos.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah, now what he's talking about is the shutdown. You
- 38:45Speaker 2: could say, what did they accomplish with the shutdown? They
- 38:48Speaker 2: got nothing for it. They can find a cave they
- 38:49Speaker 2: got nothing. Well, some people think the master plan was
- 38:53Speaker 2: to screw up the fourth quarter. We're in the fourth quarter,
- 38:57Speaker 2: and when the economic fourth quarter was results come in,
- 39:01Speaker 2: they'll be a little less because of the shutdown. You
- 39:03Speaker 2: had disruption for a month or so, total disruption. And
- 39:09Speaker 2: they're worried that Democrats might try to do this every
- 39:13Speaker 2: quarter because you'll get the you know, if you show
- 39:15Speaker 2: four percent growth, that looks bad. If you do the
- 39:17Speaker 2: shutdown and maybe you knock it down to three percent growth.
- 39:20Speaker 2: So they're worried they might try a shut down every
- 39:23Speaker 2: quarter just to get the numbers down. That would be
- 39:26Speaker 2: a frightening thing. Mom, Donnie takes over in. I don't
- 39:33Speaker 2: mean it's scary you, but it's January first. It's like
- 39:35Speaker 2: six weeks from now, Mom, Donnie takes over. He'll meet
- 39:39Speaker 2: with Trump before that hopefully Trump will get through to
- 39:42Speaker 2: him on some level. Mom Donnie talked about their big meetings.
- 39:45Speaker 9: The President ran a campaign where he spoke about he
- 39:49Speaker 9: promised to deliver cheaper groceries and promise to reduce the
- 39:52Speaker 9: cost of living. We are seeing his actions and out
- 39:54Speaker 9: of his administration of Washington leading to the exact opposite
- 39:57Speaker 9: effect for the York persons. Did I will go to
- 40:00Speaker 9: make the case to the President and to anyone frankly,
- 40:04Speaker 9: that these are the kinds of things we need to change.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, actually, yeah. Trump has a track record of
- 40:08Speaker 2: getting prices down. He's got the price of oil down,
- 40:11Speaker 2: He's got the price of many groceries down. He's got inflation,
- 40:14Speaker 2: which hit nine percent under Biden down to two point
- 40:16Speaker 2: five percent. Biden's average inflation over the four years was
- 40:21Speaker 2: five percent. So Trump has cut it in half already
- 40:24Speaker 2: and it'll go lower next year. You know, you can't
- 40:26Speaker 2: expect him to fix the whole thing in nine months,
- 40:29Speaker 2: ten months, whatever it is. It's going to take a year,
- 40:32Speaker 2: a year and a half to get it really really moving.
- 40:35Speaker 2: But Mom Donnie has no trackord of getting anything done. Now,
- 40:39Speaker 2: this meeting will be interesting. Trump is very good when
- 40:42Speaker 2: he's meeting a peer. You know, when an older CEO,
- 40:46Speaker 2: a guy who's been in business for many years, Trump,
- 40:49Speaker 2: you know, can negotiate with a guy like that. I
- 40:51Speaker 2: don't know how good he is with a young a junior.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I was going to say a junior executive. But this
- 40:57Speaker 2: guy's never been an executive, A thirty four year old
- 40:59Speaker 2: who he's never had a job, a thirty four year old,
- 41:02Speaker 2: totally inexperienced guy. It's hard to negotiate with a guy
- 41:06Speaker 2: like that. Now, a lot of the stuff he does
- 41:11Speaker 2: when you go to see him might not work on Mom, Donnie,
- 41:15Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, the crazy young socialist. You know, whenever you
- 41:17Speaker 2: go to see Trump, he shows you around, He shows
- 41:19Speaker 2: you all these fancy things. He shows you all these
- 41:21Speaker 2: beautiful That's one reason he put all that stuff in
- 41:23Speaker 2: the oval office. Whenever you come to see him, he
- 41:26Speaker 2: likes to walk you around and show you things. You know,
- 41:28Speaker 2: he had this actual copy of the Constitution on the
- 41:32Speaker 2: wall and he opens the curtain shows it to you.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Or even those paintings are those things on the desk,
- 41:36Speaker 2: they're very rare historical things. So he likes to show
- 41:39Speaker 2: you stuff, and that's how he starts every meeting. You know,
- 41:42Speaker 2: it's a half hour of show and tell with that stuff.
- 41:45Speaker 2: I don't know if Mo'm Donnie. You know, he's not
- 41:49Speaker 2: exactly the most lover. He's not a great lover of
- 41:53Speaker 2: American history. I don't know if this stuff will resonate
- 41:55Speaker 2: with him. Eric Adams already squabb with Mom Donnie about
- 42:01Speaker 2: this and that.
- 42:01Speaker 18: I think that when you talk about not doing business
- 42:05Speaker 18: with Israel, not willing to acknowledge that you're going to
- 42:09Speaker 18: march in Israeli Day parade, not being willing to state
- 42:12Speaker 18: you're going to come and visit Israel in other countries,
- 42:15Speaker 18: it sends the wrong message and he has to define that.
- 42:19Speaker 18: But I know those who are part of the DSA
- 42:22Speaker 18: and those who are marched in our streets saying horrific things,
- 42:26Speaker 18: that is a clear sign of anti Semitism to me.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a big problem with Mom, Donnie. There's no
- 42:31Speaker 2: arguing that one. But Eric Adams is in Israel as
- 42:34Speaker 2: we speak. He toured the tunnels where the hostages were
- 42:39Speaker 2: yesterday in Israel, making friends there, making deals. Probably there's
- 42:45Speaker 2: a lot of deals to be made there. He could
- 42:48Speaker 2: be useful in some ways, I guess. But this is.
- 42:53Speaker 2: He's not a great lover of history and historical sites.
- 42:56Speaker 2: He's a lover of wheeling and dealing. And that's when
- 42:59Speaker 2: we reason. I think he's over there. He's away. You know,
- 43:03Speaker 2: this is his final six weeks in office. You think
- 43:06Speaker 2: you'd be here doing stuff, but he's basically it sounds
- 43:09Speaker 2: like a vacation. But after Israel tomorrow, next stop, who's Bekistan? Now,
- 43:16Speaker 2: either he's got the world's worst travel agent, Who's Bekistan?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Or more deals to be made over there wheeling and dealing,
- 43:24Speaker 2: or is what does Curtis call it? Whining, dining and
- 43:27Speaker 2: pocket lining something going on. You know, Adams will need
- 43:31Speaker 2: to make a lot of money when he leaves, and
- 43:33Speaker 2: you can do that. As an ex mayor. You can
- 43:38Speaker 2: become very valuable to certain interest groups who will pay
- 43:42Speaker 2: you to represent them in the city. You know, you
- 43:44Speaker 2: still know a lot of people in government. You can
- 43:46Speaker 2: make a lot of phone calls, you can be their
- 43:48Speaker 2: unofficial lobbyist. So I imagine that's what Adams is doing
- 43:51Speaker 2: over there. Epstein files no vote yet, We'll see what happens.
- 43:56Speaker 2: At some point they'll be released. The Democrats, I was
- 44:00Speaker 2: gonna say, they're gonna have to accept it. But they won't.
- 44:02Speaker 2: But at some point they're gonna have to accept that
- 44:04Speaker 2: there is no Trump scandal. They keep looking into the
- 44:08Speaker 2: Trump thinking there's some scandal they'll find that it would
- 44:11Speaker 2: bring him down. There is no scandal nothing. There was
- 44:16Speaker 2: no mortgage fraud, there was no any of this, There
- 44:19Speaker 2: was nothing. There's no scandal anywhere. He's the most investigated
- 44:23Speaker 2: man in the history of the world and nobody has
- 44:27Speaker 2: found a damn thing. Now you might say, well, he's
- 44:29Speaker 2: convicted on seven hundred different convictions. None of them are real.
- 44:32Speaker 2: They're all getting tossed out one by one. That whole
- 44:35Speaker 2: Letitia James case is slowly but surely getting tossed out.
- 44:38Speaker 2: They keep delaying the appeals courts because they know it's
- 44:40Speaker 2: going to get tossed out. The Alvin braggcase totally going
- 44:46Speaker 2: to get tossed out. Nothing there. Our greatest legal scholarship said,
- 44:49Speaker 2: they still can't even figure out what the charge is.
- 44:54Speaker 2: The Egen Carrol case. That's a conviction, but nobody in
- 44:57Speaker 2: their right mind believes that story from this woman who
- 45:01Speaker 2: can't even tell you what year it was when it happened.
- 45:05Speaker 2: What was the other case, Oh, Georgia they're still proceeding
- 45:07Speaker 2: with that. Fannie Willis has been removed from the case,
- 45:12Speaker 2: but nobody's taking that one too seriously. So there's no scandal. Yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 2: Stormy Daniels, maybe maybe it's true he slept with the
- 45:18Speaker 2: with the porn star strip or whatever she was. Oh listen,
- 45:23Speaker 2: if you're going to throw people out because they cheated
- 45:25Speaker 2: on their wife, you'd lose everybody in Congress, you'd lose
- 45:29Speaker 2: half the presidents. That's everybody in Washington, DC. So there
- 45:33Speaker 2: is no scandal. They keep hunting for this, thinking there's
- 45:36Speaker 2: something like a Ralph Cramton. Aha, you're going to show
- 45:41Speaker 2: people and then they'll turn on Trump. You're not going
- 45:43Speaker 2: to find it. If there's a case to be made
- 45:45Speaker 2: against Trump, it's not with some scandal they've tried. They're
- 45:49Speaker 2: gonna try Epstein, and that's going to be a massive
- 45:52Speaker 2: failure for Democrats. Then they'll go I guess when that fails,
- 45:57Speaker 2: they'll go to Gallaine Maxwell. The demand to know she
- 46:00Speaker 2: got transferred to a nice, cushy prison. Well, if you
- 46:05Speaker 2: talk to people in the prosecuting or attorney business, they'll
- 46:09Speaker 2: tell you, as a first time offender for a nonviolent crime,
- 46:13Speaker 2: she never should have been in the other prison, the
- 46:15Speaker 2: extremely bad violent prison. First time non violent offenders don't
- 46:19Speaker 2: go there. The type of prison she's in now is
- 46:21Speaker 2: where you would normally get sent so they simply corrected
- 46:26Speaker 2: the extremism of that court. Also, a lot of experts
- 46:31Speaker 2: will tell you she was over sentenced. It's not supposed
- 46:33Speaker 2: to be seventeen years, supposed to be more like seven
- 46:36Speaker 2: years for what she did. So at some point they'll
- 46:39Speaker 2: have to just give up on that, but they never will.
- 46:42Speaker 2: The other question you got to remember is why didn't
- 46:46Speaker 2: Biden release these files. Biden had the Epstein files and
- 46:51Speaker 2: he went through them. His Justice Department went through them
- 46:53Speaker 2: for four years. They never found anything on Trump they
- 46:56Speaker 2: could use. They never released the files. Now, some if
- 46:59Speaker 2: you ask people in the Biden misteries, well why didn't
- 47:01Speaker 2: you release the files, they'll tell you that while we
- 47:05Speaker 2: were still investigating Gallaine Maxwell. Yeah, but that was year one.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Then she got convicted. Well, we thought there would be appeals,
- 47:12Speaker 2: and if it's an appeal, we can't release the file. Okay,
- 47:16Speaker 2: that's year two three. Why didn't you Well, there might
- 47:18Speaker 2: have been ongoing adjacent investigations. We didn't want to come
- 47:24Speaker 2: it doesn't. It doesn't pass the smell test those explanations.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Let me check and see if Twitter is back. There
- 47:30Speaker 2: was a big internet outage. Oh yeah, it looks like
- 47:33Speaker 2: it's back. The cloud that they used, cloud Fare went
- 47:38Speaker 2: out this morning. So if your Twitter wasn't working or
- 47:40Speaker 2: some of your websites, there was a huge internet outage
- 47:44Speaker 2: this morning. That's the reason. Hey, yeah, next week is Thanksgiving.
- 47:47Speaker 2: It's the week before Thanksgiving. I'm starting to hear that
- 47:49Speaker 2: Christmas music everywhere. I got to go down the hall
- 47:53Speaker 2: the Light FM. Are they playing Christmas music yet?
- 47:56Speaker 12: Oh?
- 47:56Speaker 2: It starts Friday, the Christmas music right. Who might argue?
- 48:01Speaker 2: It gets enormous, enormous ratings, unbelievable ratings. It's basically one
- 48:07Speaker 2: hundred and twenty five songs. There's one hundred and twenty
- 48:11Speaker 2: five big Christmas hits. They just rotate them over and
- 48:13Speaker 2: over again for a month and a half. But it
- 48:16Speaker 2: does very very well. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 48:23Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 48:28Speaker 19: Get hits and access to Mark by setting a pre
- 48:31Speaker 19: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 48:34Speaker 19: his podcast.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Dumon Show on wor.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Harry in
- 48:44Speaker 2: Long Valley. Where is Long Valley?
- 48:46Speaker 4: Harry, Well, it's not too far from Morristown, New Jersey
- 48:50Speaker 4: or Hacketstown.
- 48:51Speaker 15: Oh okay, probably right in the middle. I was just
- 48:53Speaker 15: listening to this morning, Mark, and good morning. You're talking
- 48:56Speaker 15: about the Fsteine files, and there's another side of the
- 48:58Speaker 15: story which I just want to get your opinion on.
- 49:02Speaker 15: I know there the far left Democrats are looking for
- 49:05Speaker 15: something on Trump. There they have the Trump's arrangement syndrome.
- 49:09Speaker 15: But what about the far left party itself bringing this
- 49:13Speaker 15: to a head in Congress? They want it out right now?
- 49:16Speaker 15: Is it possible? And here's the point, is it possible?
- 49:20Speaker 15: They want to purge their own party of the older
- 49:26Speaker 15: like Schumer types.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Those are the types that they want to There are
- 49:30Speaker 2: types they're usually going to be in there. Yeah, you're right,
- 49:32Speaker 2: it's a good point. There's a lot of those old
- 49:35Speaker 2: elitist establishment Democrats in there that'll get wiped out, but
- 49:39Speaker 2: there's a lot of their donors in there. There's a
- 49:41Speaker 2: lot of big CEOs in there. There's no Trump in
- 49:44Speaker 2: these files. You're going to be very, very disappointed when
- 49:47Speaker 2: you see everything. Let's go to Richard in Grantwich, Connecticut. Richard,
- 49:51Speaker 2: how you doing, Hey?
- 49:53Speaker 4: Mark? How are you today?
- 49:55Speaker 2: Good?
- 49:55Speaker 20: I just wanted to thank you very much for you
- 49:59Speaker 20: recommen I did a while ago the book Loved Johnny.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Love Johnny Carson. We had the author on yesterday.
- 50:07Speaker 20: Oh you, oh man, I gotta I gotta rewind your
- 50:10Speaker 20: podcast yesterday I was out, but I wanted to thank you.
- 50:14Speaker 20: It is chock full of like the most fascinating stories. Uh,
- 50:20Speaker 20: even if you're not a Johnny Carson fan, but I
- 50:22Speaker 20: find myself reading again. I just loved the book, and
- 50:26Speaker 20: I wanted to thank you for that. I mean all
- 50:28Speaker 20: the grudges that he had in his personal life and
- 50:31Speaker 20: the backstage and the wives and Ed McMahon and and
- 50:36Speaker 20: Sinatra and just I have not even finished with it yet.
- 50:39Speaker 2: It's like three.
- 50:40Speaker 20: Quarters away done, and uh yeah, somehow it makes my
- 50:44Speaker 20: heart happy to read it.
- 50:45Speaker 2: No, it's quite a book. Everybody should get the book.
- 50:47Speaker 2: It's called Love Johnny Carson. It's by Mark Malkoff. It's
- 50:51Speaker 2: on Amazon. Just go get it. It's the latest and
- 50:54Speaker 2: the greatest book ever written. About Johnny Carson. But you're right,
- 50:57Speaker 2: it has a million stories, that whole era of.
- 51:00Speaker 15: Yeah you mentioned that.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I'm in the book in a lot of places.
- 51:04Speaker 2: But everybody get the book. It's called Love Johnny Carson,
- 51:08Speaker 2: Love Johnny Carson. Just go order it. You'll thank me,
- 51:11Speaker 2: you'll read. It's also a good Christmas present too for somebody.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Patrick in Westchester. Patrick, how you
- 51:18Speaker 2: doing fine?
- 51:19Speaker 19: Mark?
- 51:19Speaker 17: How are you today?
- 51:20Speaker 2: I'm good? How are you good?
- 51:21Speaker 17: Good? Well? We love listening to your show, and I
- 51:23Speaker 17: think you have the best guests of anybody on radio.
- 51:27Speaker 17: I just wandered with thinking of an update on a
- 51:30Speaker 17: past guest, Michael Riedle. Can you update us on what's
- 51:33Speaker 17: new with him.
- 51:34Speaker 2: He's doing well. He's been in Florida a lot. He's
- 51:37Speaker 2: working on another book. Actually, right, we should get him
- 51:40Speaker 2: back on the show sometimes. Good idea. Let's go to
- 51:43Speaker 2: Tony in White Plains. Tony, how you doing?
- 51:46Speaker 21: Yeah, good morning, Mark. I don't talk about this news
- 51:49Speaker 21: Combe the governor California. What a joke this guys. He
- 51:53Speaker 21: leaves the country. He's talking about the biggest hopes we
- 51:55Speaker 21: ever had, climate change, and in meantime, California burn it.
- 52:00Speaker 21: I'm kind of he's responsible part of it in the
- 52:03Speaker 21: water situation over there. And Mark, can I say one
- 52:05Speaker 21: more thing. You remember the movies like in the fifties,
- 52:09Speaker 21: you know, the black and whites and all that Newscombe.
- 52:11Speaker 21: You know what it reminds me of. You ever see
- 52:13Speaker 21: a Sada Judge like in a candy store with that
- 52:15Speaker 21: paper hat on. That's what it reminds you every time
- 52:18Speaker 21: I see him on TV.
- 52:19Speaker 2: All right, well, thanks for calling. I hate to break
- 52:22Speaker 2: it to you. He's the front runner for twenty twenty eight.
- 52:24Speaker 2: And check historically, whoever's the Democrat front runner at this
- 52:28Speaker 2: point usually gets the nomination. But it's a long way off.
- 52:32Speaker 2: But you're right, he's he's slick. He's a salesman. He's
- 52:36Speaker 2: not a manager, just a salesman. California's a mess even
- 52:40Speaker 2: after those terrible fires. You know, ninety eight percent of
- 52:43Speaker 2: those people are not back in their homes yet. Because
- 52:46Speaker 2: Newsom is busy making podcasts and doing guest appearances, doesn't
- 52:50Speaker 2: have time to run the state. Let's go to Vincent
- 52:53Speaker 2: and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good.
- 52:55Speaker 11: Morning, Mark, Good morning, Matt. I'm doing fire Mark. Mark
- 52:58Speaker 11: in regards to the housing an affordability crisis. I don't
- 53:03Speaker 11: know who suggested that Donald Trump the idea of a
- 53:06Speaker 11: fifty year mortgage, because I say this, I'm a senior citizen,
- 53:11Speaker 11: and I know a lot of seniors listen to your show.
- 53:14Speaker 11: Because that is not a great idea. Most people don't
- 53:18Speaker 11: want to be paying off for mortgage in their senior years,
- 53:22Speaker 11: and even worse, have their children pay off their mortgage
- 53:26Speaker 11: in debts. Most parents, by the time they retire their
- 53:30Speaker 11: kids have grown, they want to sell their original house
- 53:33Speaker 11: that they raise, their family cash out, take some profits,
- 53:38Speaker 11: and downsize to a smaller home, maybe in a low
- 53:42Speaker 11: tax state like Florida Tennessee. But that is not a
- 53:48Speaker 11: good idea at all because if most people when if
- 53:52Speaker 11: they get married at twenty five, they're not even ready
- 53:55Speaker 11: to raise the down you're talking about if the house
- 53:58Speaker 11: is a million dollars, you got to put ten percent down.
- 54:01Speaker 11: You're talking about one hundred thousand dollars. That's going to
- 54:05Speaker 11: take them time to raise that money. They're gonna maybe
- 54:08Speaker 11: be in their their thirties unless they get help from
- 54:11Speaker 11: their parents. And so by the time where they pay
- 54:15Speaker 11: off a fifty year mortgage, you're lucky if you live
- 54:17Speaker 11: to eighty years old. And what happens like us happened
- 54:22Speaker 11: to some friends of mine in Italy. The people all
- 54:25Speaker 11: the way, a couple of miles down the road bought
- 54:28Speaker 11: houses years ago that they figured, in their golden years,
- 54:31Speaker 11: they'd sell, make some money on it and downsize and
- 54:35Speaker 11: live out the rest of their life in style and class.
- 54:39Speaker 11: The neighborhood went down the toilet, like a lot of
- 54:42Speaker 11: neighborhoods are in New York, and they can't even get
- 54:46Speaker 11: half the original price they pay for it.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Their style is a little doom and gloom. That does happen.
- 54:53Speaker 2: But there's other neighborhoods where you buy a cheap house
- 54:55Speaker 2: and next thing you know, twenty years later it's the
- 54:57Speaker 2: hottest neighborhood.
- 54:58Speaker 13: They air.
- 54:58Speaker 11: But you don't pay mark. You don't pay all for
- 55:02Speaker 11: fifty year mortgage.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Most people, well, even if you had to pay it off,
- 55:06Speaker 2: you can, you can go sell it and still get
- 55:08Speaker 2: a profit.
- 55:09Speaker 11: And still and if you got a fifty year mortgage
- 55:12Speaker 11: and you're only in five years paid that mortgage, you
- 55:15Speaker 11: didn't even pay off all the interest on that, you
- 55:18Speaker 11: can't even get a lot of acquity had that because
- 55:21Speaker 11: most of it you didn't even pay off the interest.
- 55:23Speaker 2: The first time. Well, Vin's a good point, no fifty
- 55:26Speaker 2: year mortgage, but he's just throwing out ideas that the yeah,
- 55:29Speaker 2: and it's.
- 55:29Speaker 11: A bad idea. All right, I got a good idea.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Well you convinced me. All right, Well, a great call,
- 55:33Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back, we'll talk
- 55:36Speaker 2: to the dean himself, the greatest analyst of campaigns and politics.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Will get to Ed Rollins. Coming up next on seven
- 55:44Speaker 2: to ten Wore The Mark.
- 55:46Speaker 19: Simone Show continues on sevent ten wor.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the dean himself, Ed Rollins, the
- 55:54Speaker 2: greatest political analyst. I've always worked on a million campaigns,
- 55:57Speaker 2: run the biggest, best campaigns ever, Ed Rollins. How you doing?
- 56:02Speaker 4: Good morning?
- 56:02Speaker 2: How are you? I'm good. I'm looking at the President's schedule.
- 56:06Speaker 2: I mean, this guy used to be in New York
- 56:07Speaker 2: having fun all day. Now he's meeting with Saudi leaders.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Who wants to spend the whole day with these Saudi leaders?
- 56:14Speaker 2: You've been in these meetings? What do they do in
- 56:16Speaker 2: these meetings?
- 56:18Speaker 4: Well, I think this is a Trump retirement fund for
- 56:20Speaker 4: his kids. The reality here is, you know, the Saudi
- 56:26Speaker 4: prince who's being treated like I have a state and
- 56:28Speaker 4: will be eventually when his father passed away, which could
- 56:31Speaker 4: be a year or two years. But he seems to
- 56:35Speaker 4: be getting everything and not giving anything, you know. And
- 56:39Speaker 4: I sort of compressed her with the day today as
- 56:41Speaker 4: you see the women who are victims of Epstein dominating
- 56:46Speaker 4: all of network network and all the cable news this
- 56:48Speaker 4: morning for a couple of hours, I certainly will today.
- 56:51Speaker 4: And then you have this Saudi prince coming in here
- 56:54Speaker 4: basically is getting r F thirty five. He's going to
- 56:56Speaker 4: buy them. He's now gonna have the only the kind
- 57:00Speaker 4: of jet to go super jet in the world with
- 57:02Speaker 4: the Israelis, and he's not giving us anything at this
- 57:05Speaker 4: point in time. Usually when you make a deal, you
- 57:08Speaker 4: get something, they get something. And the only thing I
- 57:10Speaker 4: see is the present beginning at this point in time,
- 57:12Speaker 4: is the ability to deal long term with the Saudis.
- 57:18Speaker 4: I mean, it's the certainly certainly raises political issues that
- 57:21Speaker 4: the Democrats this point and I look at everything from
- 57:24Speaker 4: a political perspective.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and if we're good, if we're giving them these
- 57:28Speaker 2: top weapons. Shaudi's have a habit of sharing stuff with
- 57:31Speaker 2: the Chinese, don't they that's not good.
- 57:33Speaker 4: Well, they do, and the Russians and everybody else. And
- 57:36Speaker 4: the key thing in the past, whenever we sold our supergenses,
- 57:40Speaker 4: we always made sure that they don't get every part
- 57:42Speaker 4: of it. They don't get all the controls, all their
- 57:44Speaker 4: weapon systems, what have you. So I don't know what
- 57:46Speaker 4: the details are in these particular things. They have thirty
- 57:48Speaker 4: fives or is ready the only ones that have them
- 57:51Speaker 4: at this time. We made some deals with the Polished
- 57:53Speaker 4: to sell some of them in the future, but we
- 57:55Speaker 4: haven't done that yet. So I just I just worry
- 57:57Speaker 4: about it. I just don't think it's a good deal
- 57:59Speaker 4: for us at this point time. And I think the
- 58:01Speaker 4: timing of it is terrible. Every day the time it is,
- 58:05Speaker 4: and we're not getting anything back at this point in time.
- 58:07Speaker 2: So yeah, back to the Democrats. So theyre spending so
- 58:10Speaker 2: much time on this Epstein stuff. They're not focusing on
- 58:12Speaker 2: what you just brought up. They're going to miss this.
- 58:16Speaker 4: Well, I think they're going to miss the night. I
- 58:19Speaker 4: always worry about Republicans. I don't worry about the Democrats, you know.
- 58:24Speaker 4: I mean, at the end of the day, if we
- 58:25Speaker 4: do our job, well, we can win campaigns, and we're
- 58:29Speaker 4: going to have a terrible year next year if we're
- 58:32Speaker 4: not careful, if we don't improve and everything care element
- 58:35Speaker 4: can go back and look at everything that happened to
- 58:36Speaker 4: us last Tuesday and improve on those things. And you know,
- 58:39Speaker 4: obviously we could have a bad mid term nowhere near
- 58:42Speaker 4: as bad as in the past. But you know, we've
- 58:44Speaker 4: got a handful of seats to the majority of both
- 58:46Speaker 4: the House and the Senate. If you lose ten to
- 58:48Speaker 4: fifteen seats, you know you're gonna look very tough the
- 58:52Speaker 4: last couple of years here.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Okay, but say six seven, eight months from now, the
- 58:56Speaker 2: economy is doing well, prices are down. Is that all
- 58:59Speaker 2: it takes or is it still tough?
- 59:01Speaker 4: Well, it's certainly, certainly, it's certainly be very beneficial. And
- 59:04Speaker 4: this you know, that's let's hope at this point in time.
- 59:07Speaker 4: And at the end of the day, you've got to
- 59:09Speaker 4: go out and make your case for why all this
- 59:11Speaker 4: stuff is good. And today you know, in the presence
- 59:13Speaker 4: doing all this international stuff, which is all part of
- 59:16Speaker 4: the job. Don't take that away from them. But at
- 59:19Speaker 4: the same time, it becomes more of his interest. I
- 59:22Speaker 4: think as it is domestic. Domestic is what people are
- 59:25Speaker 4: going to vote on them, and whether we go to
- 59:27Speaker 4: war with Venezuela any of the rest of it is
- 59:30Speaker 4: certainly a great distraction.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Ed Rolins. Now you've been involved in this for years.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Let me ask you something. You ever see a crop
- 59:36Speaker 2: of people like this, Mom, Donnie or AOC, these crazy
- 59:39Speaker 2: left wing socialists, although slick, charming, fast talking, have we
- 59:44Speaker 2: ever seen a period like this before where these guys
- 59:46Speaker 2: were taken over?
- 59:48Speaker 8: No.
- 59:49Speaker 4: After after Watergate, the Democrats had a big year in
- 59:52Speaker 4: seventy four. They came back and they tried to take
- 59:55Speaker 4: a lot more power to back to the Palace and
- 59:58Speaker 4: took us seventy years to come back. At that point
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: in time, people were saying, you know, we'll never be
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: another Republican. I come back to this when Nixon was housed,
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: uh eight years later back in the White House again.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: But you've got to have the right leaders, the right people.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: I mean, to a certain extent, we've got we've got
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: a couple of real hard years in this year, and
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: we've got to make up some ground on particularly after
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: after last week. If we're losing Hispanic voters and losing
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: May and male voters we got last time. President President
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: had a magical election last time. You can't take that
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: for granted. You've got to go back and work a vote,
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: make sure those people are for you. And obviously the
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: economy is critical. That's what people want and that's what
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: you've got to make sure all your time. And it's
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: just devoted there.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: You know, if you really analyzed the mayoral stuff, the voting,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Mam Donnie did not win the working class, the blue
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: collar working class. Most of the votes came from the
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: elitist over educated grade. Yeah, young, so uh, how do
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: you how do you get those people to see reality?
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Well, you got to go out and talk to them.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: I mean the reality of how you win in New York,
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: which is the key thing here is you got to
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: you gotta make sure you don't lose New York by
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: half a million votes, and you gotta win Westchester. You're
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: gotta win Nasa, you gotta win Suffolk. Uh, and you know,
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: you gotta make sure those people are all in the game. Fully,
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: there's a formula how you can win it. Attack. He
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: did it, a lota did it for a long time.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: But it's not it's not accidentally. You gotta go out
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: and work hard and make sure that all works hard
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: in that state. Place like Buffalo whatever they used to
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: be a very significant vote for us. It's half a
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: mallion voter. When I used to work for Jack Kemp,
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: it was this chairer on around for president. There are
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: half a million more people in Buffalo and those were
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: the blue collar jobs and what have you. We gotta
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: go out and make sure the blue collar voters are
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: our voters. Got to make sure the Hispanic progress we
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: made the last election that we can gain again. We
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: didn't get it this time in those two mid general elections,
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: but we've got to make sure that those voters hear
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: about them and that the way we're doing the immigration stuff,
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: I think to a certain extent, is not as smooth
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: an effect that those it should be.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Hey, you get these people that Republicans are run around
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: yelling at Republican can never win in New York City
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: a Republican and now I'm hearing it for governor. Republican
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: can't win for governor. This is not helping anybody to
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: keep chanting this is it?
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: No, it's not the reality is we can win. We
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: at a point in time where we had a lot
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: of Republicans here. We had attacking was governor for twelve years,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: we had Giuliani as mayor, We had Tomorrow as the
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: center and you know, we just have to go out
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: and execute them. And my senses, we just haven't had
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: a good plan. We just we just we focused too
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: much attention to the things that aren't no matter to people.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: You have to go out and talk to people, registered voters,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: the strong party, build a strong party the next year,
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: and decide where you're gonna get your votes.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that Republican party in New York. Not a lot
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: of infrastructure, there, not a lot of manpower. What can
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: we do about that?
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: You gotta get to raise money. Uh, and you've got
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: to basically make sure that people understand the value of
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: spending money beyond the the city. You gotta get say
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: to Tassa, Suffolk, Westchester, upstate. Uh, that's how you win
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: stay wide here in New York.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Ed Ronds, we only got a minute left, mom, Donnie.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: When he takes over, will he be a lot worse
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: than we thought? Will he be not quite as bad
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: as we thought? What do you think.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: He'll be worse than we thought? Because the people people, well,
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: the people who's gonna put around him. Uh, you know,
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: he's he's one guy, but he's got a lot of power.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: But the people he's gonna put he's bringing back with
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: the BLOBSI old people. He's bringing back a lot of
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: people that you know. It's not like he's calling of
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: a sudden going to the business commuting and say hey, give
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: me your best and your right is Uh. He's going
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: to his socialist runds and saying, you know, you want
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: a job in government. I think he's made a good
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: move and hopefully Tish will stay as a police commissioner.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: But if she does, I don't know who end up
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: that job. To me, it's the most important job right
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: now the city.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Well it rounds great stuff. Thanks for talking with this.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: We'll do it again soon, all right, take care, take care, Hey,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: don't forget. At noon it's Buck Sexton, Klay Travis. This
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: is a great show every day at twelve, then at
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: three o'clock. You got to most listen to radio show
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: in America, Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: and our new show is Jimmy Fala every night nine
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: at midnight. A very funny, interesting, great show nine to
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: midnight Tonight on seven to ten Wry.
- 1:04:31Speaker 19: Still Mark Samoon Show on seven TENR.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Well, hey, we're talking about Gavin Newsom. Before you know,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: he's supposed to be the governor of California. It doesn't
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: have time for that though. He's running around making campaign appearances.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: He's running around fundraising, he's running around doing podcasts. But
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: so far, you know, you have this terrible Palisades fires,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: and so far more than seventy two percent of the
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: victims are still in temporary How this is quite a
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: while since those fires they destroyed seven thousand structures, killed
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: twelve people, Pacific Palisades, Malibu. He keeps trying to shift
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: attention away from the fires, but you got seventy two
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: percent of those victims still in temporary housing. Now. At
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: some point, Mike Johnson is talking about in Congress possibly
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: a subpoena at a Newsom to explain the total failure
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: of his state during the Palisades fires, why they failed
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: on everything as far as prevention, why they failed during
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: the fires, and why they have failed to get people
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: back to a normal existence. And it could be interesting
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: watching him testify, although he can be pretty slick and
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: you know these crazy Democrats. If you look slick and
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: you're a fast talker, they love what you're saying. Even
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: though you got no resume, never had a job, or
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: you got a job and you stink at it and
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: you screwed up your state. You got more people leaving
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: California than any other state, people voting with their feet
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: and fleeing. So let's see today at the White House
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: President Trump with Saudi leaders MBS. The controversial character. A
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: lot of people don't like this meeting. Hey Butler Pennsylvania,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: the shooter Thomas Crooks. Stuff coming out about his background.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: He was a raging nut anti Democrat who became an
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: anti Republican and then got real Trump arrangement syndrome, and
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: online was talking about assassination, talking about political violence. I mean,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: it was pretty obvious if anybody was watching this something
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: bad was going to happen. Another total failure on the
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: part of the Secret Service, the FBI back then. Hey,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: we're out of time. I will not be on cutload today.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Change of plans. Change of plans could be moved to
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: another day, but don't go away. Buck Sexton and Clayton
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Travis with a very good show coming up. Right after
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: the news at noon, and then at three o'clock you
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: got Sean Hannity that's actually the most listened to radio
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: show in radio. And then at six you got Jesse
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Kelly and we love this new Jimmy Faylor Show. You
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: got to listen to it tonight nine to midnight. I'll
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: be back tomorrow ten to noon. Talk to you. Then
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: seven ten wor
