- 1:19Speaker 3: of what truly makes life meaningful. We get caught up
- 1:23Speaker 3: in the noise of ambition and success, forgetting that sometimes
- 1:28Speaker 3: the most important thing we can do is ease someone's
- 1:32Speaker 3: pain or offer a hand to lift another. Today's episode
- 1:37Speaker 3: is a reminder that the most profound purpose in life
- 1:41Speaker 3: may not come from grand gestures, but from quiet acts
- 1:46Speaker 3: of kindness and compassion that we offer to those around us.

- 4:16Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:20Speaker 3: The question was which religion is the oldest of the
- 4:24Speaker 3: world's major monotheistic religions. The answer Zoroastrianism. Founded by the
- 4:33Speaker 3: prophet zoro Aster or Zarathustra. It dates back to around
- 4:40Speaker 3: fifteen hundred BCE in Ancient Persia or modern day Iran,
- 4:47Speaker 3: making it the oldest of the major monotheistic religions. It
- 4:52Speaker 3: predates Judaism, Christianity, and Islam by centuries. The religion emphasizes
- 4:59Speaker 3: the duality of good versus evil, where a supreme God
- 5:04Speaker 3: or Hurrah Mazda representing all that is good, and the
- 5:08Speaker 3: forces of evil, led by Angra Menu working against him. Zoroastrianism. Now,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you know, we spend so much of our lives chasing
- 5:25Speaker 3: after things, titles, possessions, status, believing they will bring us fulfillment.
- 5:32Speaker 3: But in the grand scheme of things, how much of
- 5:35Speaker 3: it really matters. We might think success or recognition it
- 5:40Speaker 3: is what gives us purpose, but the truth is it
- 5:44Speaker 3: is the quiet, often unseen moments that shape us the most.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Think about the times when someone has shown you kindness
- 5:54Speaker 3: without expecting anything in return, or when you've offered to
- 5:58Speaker 3: help someone else just because it was the right thing
- 6:02Speaker 3: to do. These are the moments that leave lasting impressions,
- 6:07Speaker 3: not because of what we gain from them, but because
- 6:11Speaker 3: how they make us feel connected to something greater than ourselves.
- 6:16Speaker 3: When we shift our focus from personal achievement to shared humanity,
- 6:20Speaker 3: we begin to understand what the true value of our
- 6:25Speaker 3: lives lies, not in what we do for ourselves, but
- 6:30Speaker 3: in how we ease the burdens of others. It is
- 6:34Speaker 3: in these simple lacts of compassion, no matter how small,
- 6:38Speaker 3: that we find purpose. And with that in mind, I
- 6:42Speaker 3: want to share something that beautifully captures this truth, the
- 6:46Speaker 3: essence of living a life that isn't just about us,
- 6:50Speaker 3: but about the impact we have on others. Listen to
- 7:07Speaker 3: these amazing words from the poet Emily Dickinson. If I
- 7:14Speaker 3: can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live
- 7:19Speaker 3: in vain. If I can ease one life be aching
- 7:25Speaker 3: or cool one pain or help one fainting robin unto
- 7:30Speaker 3: its nest again. I shall not live in vain.
