- 1:34Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, May I have your attention please. The
- 1:43Speaker 1: show starts in seven line eight seven six five four
- 1:58Speaker 1: three cool.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Good morning, and welcome to the second part of Matters
- 2:18Speaker 2: of the Heart. I hope you guys are doing well,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and I thank you for joining us for this part
- 2:26Speaker 2: two of Matters of the Heart. If you missed the
- 2:28Speaker 2: first one, I can't really blame you too much for that,
- 2:31Speaker 2: but you're here today and what we're going to talk
- 2:35Speaker 2: about are matters of the Heart, healing, alignment, empowerment, resilience,
- 2:44Speaker 2: and trauma. These are the topics that we're going to
- 2:47Speaker 2: be talking about today. We have some wonderful speakers. The
- 2:52Speaker 2: first up, we are going to have Miss Danielle. She's
- 2:54Speaker 2: going to talk to us about healing. The second one
- 2:57Speaker 2: is going to be empowered, and that's going to be
- 3:01Speaker 2: Miss Angela. And then you're gonna have me. I'm gonna
- 3:05Speaker 2: talk to you about align, which is basically alignment with
- 3:09Speaker 2: what God has for us. And then you're gonna hear
- 3:12Speaker 2: from It's Elizabeth and she's gonna talk about resilience. And
- 3:15Speaker 2: then you're gonna hear from It's Violet, who is going
- 3:18Speaker 2: to talk about trauma. Now, these are definitely matters of
- 3:21Speaker 2: the heart. If you have experienced any part of this,
- 3:25Speaker 2: which I know we all have. We don't like to
- 3:27Speaker 2: talk about these sometimes because they're open us up to
- 3:30Speaker 2: be vulnerable.
- 3:31Speaker 3: However, if you want.
- 3:34Speaker 2: To heal, you have to go through these processes. You
- 3:38Speaker 2: have to understand that heart is the breath that we
- 3:42Speaker 2: all take and that we all have to deal with.
- 3:45Speaker 2: So I'm going to go to God in prayer before
- 3:48Speaker 2: we get anything else started and before we do anything else,
- 3:52Speaker 2: because we without acknowledging God, we would not be in
- 3:55Speaker 2: this space today. So let's go and talk to him
- 3:58Speaker 2: for just a brief moment they're having. Father, thank you
- 4:01Speaker 2: for bringing us together again, as you do each and
- 4:03Speaker 2: every time we're in front of you. Let the words
- 4:05Speaker 2: that come out of each one of our mouths today
- 4:08Speaker 2: fall upon the ears that need to hear. Let those
- 4:11Speaker 2: who are struggling to reach you, let them. Let us
- 4:14Speaker 2: be the connect that they need to get closer to You.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Because we're all going through something, we all are in
- 4:20Speaker 2: need of something, and let this be the first step
- 4:23Speaker 2: and someone else's healing journey. Because we know to be
- 4:26Speaker 2: connected to You is to be connected to everything that
- 4:29Speaker 2: we need, the air that we breathe, the movement in
- 4:33Speaker 2: our bodies. Everything is controlled by you. You give us
- 4:37Speaker 2: our time here, which is always limited. But in that time,
- 4:40Speaker 2: we always know that you are the creator of all.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And so if we continue to lean on your understanding
- 4:47Speaker 2: and not our own, and decrease in us so that
- 4:50Speaker 2: we may increase in You, is always going to be
- 4:54Speaker 2: where we find our fulfillment. So let the words of
- 4:56Speaker 2: our mouths today fall upon the ears that need to
- 4:59Speaker 2: hear Your precious and holy name, Jesus, I pray Amen.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Now listen, We're gonna do some laughing. We're gonna do
- 5:09Speaker 2: some crying. We're gonna do a whole bunch of things
- 5:12Speaker 2: today that touch your heart, that touch your soul in
- 5:16Speaker 2: ways that you probably didn't even want to be touched in.
- 5:19Speaker 2: But we're gonna soothe those moments. So I'm gonna bring
- 5:24Speaker 2: up miss Danielle, and let me.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Tell you.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Where there is the loss of a loved one, whether
- 5:35Speaker 2: it's the loss of a job, a relationship, we all
- 5:39Speaker 2: have to grieve those moments and grieve those things. And
- 5:41Speaker 2: she is the person that helps us through that by
- 5:44Speaker 2: giving us the tools and the resources that will need
- 5:48Speaker 2: to do that. So Miss Danielle, please come up and
- 5:52Speaker 2: introduce yourself, give them a little bit more than what
- 5:56Speaker 2: I gave, and then.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Hello everyone. I'm so glad to be here. I apologize
- 6:06Speaker 5: for any lag regarding my camera if I'm talking and
- 6:09Speaker 5: it gets stuck in a weird way, but I'm just
- 6:13Speaker 5: glad to be here and just talk about the whole
- 6:16Speaker 5: just topic of healing overall. A lot of times we
- 6:18Speaker 5: don't realize how important it is in our lives, and
- 6:21Speaker 5: then things happen and we realize, wow, we never healed
- 6:23Speaker 5: from something that happened ten years ago, twenty years ago,
- 6:28Speaker 5: and so much more. And when we don't heal, it
- 6:31Speaker 5: impacts every area of our life, impacts our relationships, how
- 6:34Speaker 5: we work, just how we interact with others, how we
- 6:38Speaker 5: see things, how we process things, how we respond to things.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Just backing up a little bit, my name is Danielle
- 6:44Speaker 5: Ross and I am a certified grief coach. It was
- 6:47Speaker 5: not my plan, but God has always a bigger plan,
- 6:50Speaker 5: as many of us know, and I just found that
- 6:52Speaker 5: as I started talking to people, they just started opening
- 6:55Speaker 5: up and tell me about things that happened in their lives,
- 6:57Speaker 5: and it would just be strangers, and I'm just like, Okay,
- 6:59Speaker 5: let's talk about this, let's address this, let's you know,
- 7:04Speaker 5: just go and start going on this journey of healing.
- 7:06Speaker 5: And that's something that I love doing, that I'm passionate about,
- 7:09Speaker 5: is walking alongside people on their journey of healing and
- 7:12Speaker 5: letting them know that they're not alone. So just talking
- 7:17Speaker 5: about the topic of healing. I was in a conference
- 7:20Speaker 5: recently and I was sitting there and it was a
- 7:23Speaker 5: conference for women that had been faced by childlessness, infertility, miscarriages,
- 7:28Speaker 5: and other losses in their lives. And I was thinking,
- 7:31Speaker 5: I said, Danielle, why did it take you so long
- 7:33Speaker 5: to just be in this room and actually say that
- 7:36Speaker 5: you're ready to heal, that you're ready to move forward,
- 7:39Speaker 5: that you're ready to address some things that I never
- 7:41Speaker 5: talked about. I've had more than one miscarriage, one about
- 7:44Speaker 5: nine years ago and then one about three years ago,
- 7:48Speaker 5: and both times I just felt this pressure just get
- 7:50Speaker 5: over it, to just move forward. And I felt like
- 7:53Speaker 5: I never healed. I healed physically, but it had never
- 7:56Speaker 5: healed mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. And so as I was
- 8:00Speaker 5: sitting in this room amongst other women's that were crying
- 8:03Speaker 5: and that we're just worshiping and that we're in different
- 8:05Speaker 5: seasons of their life. Realizing that the one thing we
- 8:08Speaker 5: had in common is that we were being intentional about
- 8:10Speaker 5: our healing. We were taking steps to say this hurts,
- 8:13Speaker 5: this happened, whether it was two months ago, two weeks ago,
- 8:16Speaker 5: two years ago, but saying we're ready to move forward,
- 8:19Speaker 5: We're ready to get back to what God is calling
- 8:24Speaker 5: us to do, or ready to just not be as broken.
- 8:27Speaker 5: And so as I was sitting there, I'm like, Danielle,
- 8:28Speaker 5: why did it take you over nine years to be
- 8:31Speaker 5: part of this free event? And realize that a lot
- 8:34Speaker 5: of times we feel like we just have to move forward,
- 8:37Speaker 5: we just have to get over it. We never heal,
- 8:39Speaker 5: and then we come ten twenty years later, and then
- 8:42Speaker 5: something happens and then we're just like, why is this
- 8:45Speaker 5: impacting it so much? Why is this so hard? Why
- 8:48Speaker 5: is it so hard to get over this? Because we
- 8:50Speaker 5: never took the time and the steps to heal. And
- 8:54Speaker 5: thinking about how many times I've been in church, I'm like,
- 8:56Speaker 5: when was the last night even heard a sermon about healing?
- 9:00Speaker 5: And I had to really sit and think, and I'm like,
- 9:02Speaker 5: no one talks about it. They talked about how someone
- 9:04Speaker 5: was miraculously healed. The pastor might share a story about
- 9:08Speaker 5: someone that was They prayed for them, and they walked
- 9:10Speaker 5: the doors of church and they were healed, and they
- 9:12Speaker 5: were blind and this happened, or they weren't able to walk,
- 9:15Speaker 5: or they had pain and this and this happened. But
- 9:18Speaker 5: then no one really talks about it anymore. You just
- 9:21Speaker 5: hear those kind of brief stories and then no one
- 9:23Speaker 5: talks about healing. And I'm like, we see it all
- 9:26Speaker 5: the time throughout the Bible, and I actually wanted to
- 9:28Speaker 5: research it myself. And the word healing is mentioned about
- 9:33Speaker 5: one hundred and thirty eight times in the Bible at least,
- 9:36Speaker 5: and that's just at a minimum. And I'm like, Okay,
- 9:38Speaker 5: if it's mentioned that many times, God's trying to get
- 9:40Speaker 5: our attention. He wants to tell us something. And thinking
- 9:43Speaker 5: about how God wants us to be whole, He wants
- 9:46Speaker 5: us to heal. He doesn't want us to live life broken.
- 9:50Speaker 5: And think about how many people we see are walking
- 9:52Speaker 5: around and they're broken, and sometimes you can't see it,
- 9:55Speaker 5: you know, as you're passing someone in the street or
- 9:57Speaker 5: you're a coworker. But sometimes we see it in our families.
- 10:00Speaker 5: We see the brokenness. We see the people's actions, we
- 10:03Speaker 5: see how they carry themselves. We see it and how
- 10:07Speaker 5: they respond to us, how they seem to just be
- 10:11Speaker 5: stuck in the past or just not able to move
- 10:13Speaker 5: forward in something. And I'm like, but God doesn't want
- 10:16Speaker 5: us to live sixty seventy eighty nine years on this
- 10:19Speaker 5: earth and be broken. And thinking about that, I'm like, Okay,
- 10:24Speaker 5: God loves this enough to want us to be healed.
- 10:26Speaker 5: But a lot of people are like, well, how do
- 10:27Speaker 5: I heal? What does that mean? What does that look like?
- 10:30Speaker 5: And just thinking about when you're healed, you live life differently.
- 10:33Speaker 5: You don't look for someone else to make you hold
- 10:36Speaker 5: because you realize God's already made me whole. We don't
- 10:38Speaker 5: let us let people just treat us any kind of way.
- 10:41Speaker 5: We don't settle for their leftover time, their leftover energy,
- 10:44Speaker 5: they leftover affection. And we just carry ourselves differently, whether
- 10:49Speaker 5: it's in the workplace, whether it's in our families and relationships, friendships,
- 10:55Speaker 5: in every area of our lives. And God wants to
- 10:57Speaker 5: do that for us. He wants us to be whole,
- 11:00Speaker 5: complete and so just a Bible verse are two or
- 11:03Speaker 5: three that I like to share with you. One being
- 11:06Speaker 5: that just really stuck out to me, and it's probably
- 11:08Speaker 5: one that we've heard often. It's Jeremiah, chapter thirty, verse seventeen,
- 11:12Speaker 5: and it says, I will restore your health. I will
- 11:15Speaker 5: heal your wounds, declares the Lord. And think about how
- 11:18Speaker 5: beautiful that is, how special it is that God say
- 11:21Speaker 5: that he'll heal us. All we have to do is ask,
- 11:24Speaker 5: And you just think, is it that simple? You know,
- 11:27Speaker 5: I have to be good enough, right And you're like, no,
- 11:28Speaker 5: you don't have to be good enough. And you're like, well,
- 11:30Speaker 5: I have to do these five steps right, and you're like, no,
- 11:33Speaker 5: you don't have to do these five steps. God just
- 11:36Speaker 5: it's as simple as just praying and saying God, I'm
- 11:39Speaker 5: tired of being broken. I'm tired of just, you know,
- 11:42Speaker 5: giving people broken pieces of myself for settling for relationships
- 11:46Speaker 5: or friendships where you know, people just give me kind
- 11:49Speaker 5: of half of what they have and not they're all
- 11:52Speaker 5: looking for fulfillment and other things in other places that
- 11:55Speaker 5: don't feel me and saying I need help not only
- 11:58Speaker 5: to be healed physically, but to be healed mentally, emotionally,
- 12:02Speaker 5: and spiritually, because so many things happen. As we know,
- 12:05Speaker 5: you don't have to live long before something happens, before
- 12:08Speaker 5: you have a loss, before something devastating happens before you know,
- 12:13Speaker 5: just kind of life kind of knocks you down in
- 12:15Speaker 5: a way. I've had that happen recently where I had
- 12:18Speaker 5: tried out for something. It was an opportunity for something
- 12:20Speaker 5: in my life to just improve my situation, and I
- 12:24Speaker 5: didn't win, And I'm like, well, what was the point
- 12:26Speaker 5: of putting all this time and the efforts and all
- 12:29Speaker 5: of this. And then I heard that broken record saying, oh, Daniel,
- 12:32Speaker 5: you should have known that. You shouldn't have tried. You
- 12:34Speaker 5: should have known this, this and this, just all those
- 12:36Speaker 5: negative things that kept coming back up. Well, you know
- 12:39Speaker 5: what your ex husband said about you is true, or
- 12:43Speaker 5: you know what this person said about you is true,
- 12:45Speaker 5: or you should have you shouldn't have even opened your
- 12:48Speaker 5: heart to this. You shouldn't have even gotten your hopes
- 12:50Speaker 5: of because you knew you were going to fail. And
- 12:51Speaker 5: I'm like, no, that's that's that broken part of me,
- 12:54Speaker 5: that's that part of my life where I need to
- 12:57Speaker 5: be healed. Speaking to me, But God says something so
- 12:59Speaker 5: much better. And another bi verse I want to share
- 13:02Speaker 5: with you is Exitus fifteen twenty six, and it says
- 13:04Speaker 5: I'm the Lord who heals you. And I'm like, it's
- 13:07Speaker 5: just that simple, and I'm like, okay, I'm like, is
- 13:10Speaker 5: there more? Of course there's more, you know to that
- 13:12Speaker 5: Bible verse, which is to give you just that little piece.
- 13:15Speaker 5: If you don't remember anything else from what I say,
- 13:17Speaker 5: just remember that we serve a God that desires to
- 13:21Speaker 5: heal us. He loves us enough to not leave us broken.
- 13:24Speaker 5: And just some other Bible verses to share with you
- 13:26Speaker 5: is Psalms one hundred and three, verses two through five,
- 13:30Speaker 5: and one Peter two twenty four, and just to leave
- 13:34Speaker 5: those with you. And there's so many, so many other
- 13:36Speaker 5: Bible verses. So just as I wrap up, I just
- 13:39Speaker 5: want to just remind you that healing is a process,
- 13:42Speaker 5: but it's also a choice. It's something we have to
- 13:44Speaker 5: be intentional about. It's not like we just wake up
- 13:46Speaker 5: and say okay, well, like for me, okay, nine years
- 13:49Speaker 5: after my miscarriage, I'm just healed.
- 13:51Speaker 2: No.
- 13:51Speaker 5: I had to really be intentional and to seek help
- 13:54Speaker 5: and to seek support and to pray and be vulnerable
- 13:59Speaker 5: and to say, you know, let people know I'm broken
- 14:01Speaker 5: and I'm hurting right now, and there's people that are
- 14:04Speaker 5: further along on their journey than me, and say what
- 14:06Speaker 5: did you do to be healed? How can I kind
- 14:09Speaker 5: of get to where you are right now? But also
- 14:12Speaker 5: to to realize that I can't compare my healing journey
- 14:14Speaker 5: to other people because what they've gone through is not
- 14:16Speaker 5: what I've gotten through. It might be you might say, Okay,
- 14:19Speaker 5: well you've gone through all soul lots, you've gone through
- 14:21Speaker 5: this too, But people heal and respond to things in
- 14:24Speaker 5: so many different ways, so I can't compare my journey
- 14:26Speaker 5: to their journey. I'm like God heals us in different ways,
- 14:30Speaker 5: in different times, different ways and different resources. So also
- 14:35Speaker 5: being reminded to that faith is a big part of
- 14:37Speaker 5: your healing journey and saying okay, do we believe that
- 14:41Speaker 5: God can heal us? It's one thing to say it,
- 14:43Speaker 5: but that's one thing I struggle with is saying, Okay,
- 14:45Speaker 5: well I believe it maybe in my head, but not
- 14:47Speaker 5: in my heart. I believe it in my heart, but
- 14:49Speaker 5: maybe not in my head. And just connecting both of
- 14:52Speaker 5: those together, and as I say to it takes time,
- 14:54Speaker 5: it's a process, and it's a journey, and overall that
- 14:57Speaker 5: you can't do it alone. So just know that God
- 15:00Speaker 5: looks to us to just come to him with all
- 15:03Speaker 5: that we have, that it is a daily process, it
- 15:07Speaker 5: is a journey, but that He desires to heal us.
- 15:10Speaker 5: So thank you so much for listening. Just know that
- 15:12Speaker 5: you're not alone. I'm like, I'm here if you want
- 15:14Speaker 5: to listen, and all the other ladies that are here too,
- 15:17Speaker 5: are here too, So just let us know if you
- 15:18Speaker 5: need prayer, a virtual hug, just someone to talk to,
- 15:22Speaker 5: if you need support. A lot of people might not
- 15:25Speaker 5: understand your decision to heal, they might not support you,
- 15:28Speaker 5: but there are people that are there for you and
- 15:29Speaker 5: that want to listen to you. If not other people,
- 15:32Speaker 5: God wants to heal you. He wants you to be whole.
- 15:34Speaker 5: So thank you so much and blessings.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Listen.
- 15:40Speaker 2: That was truly amazing, Danielle, and I want people to
- 15:44Speaker 2: understand that in order to really start their healing process,
- 15:49Speaker 2: they first have to understand the brokenness that came with it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And most people want to run away from the broken
- 15:55Speaker 2: parts of themselves, but in order to heal, you got
- 15:59Speaker 2: to ignore knowledge that there was something that was broken first,
- 16:03Speaker 2: and we oftentimes just want to just dismiss being broken,
- 16:09Speaker 2: and you can't dismiss it, you know, you have to
- 16:12Speaker 2: embrace each part of the healing process. You know, when
- 16:16Speaker 2: you break a bone, it's broken for some time and
- 16:20Speaker 2: then once it's being put back together, whether they reset
- 16:24Speaker 2: it and everything, that takes six to nine weeks, sometimes
- 16:27Speaker 2: even a little longer, depending on the bone that's broken,
- 16:31Speaker 2: and that process is not an easy process.
- 16:34Speaker 3: And so being able.
- 16:36Speaker 2: To go through that to rebuild the bone that was broken,
- 16:40Speaker 2: it's the same thing that happens with the heart when
- 16:43Speaker 2: it's broken. You have to do the mending first, and
- 16:47Speaker 2: that is a slow process. We want to be healed overnight,
- 16:50Speaker 2: but the brokenness didn't happen overnight, So if it didn't
- 16:54Speaker 2: happen overnight, you can't heal overnight. So being able to
- 16:58Speaker 2: acknowledge those things is part of that healing process. And
- 17:03Speaker 2: as you said, we are all here to be that
- 17:06Speaker 2: listening ear, to be that shoulder to cry on, to
- 17:09Speaker 2: be that voice of reason when you don't even know
- 17:12Speaker 2: what sense to make of what it is that you're
- 17:14Speaker 2: going through.
- 17:16Speaker 3: So the healing.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Journey is the start of a lot, and sometimes it
- 17:21Speaker 2: brings up feelings that we don't want to acknowledge, that
- 17:24Speaker 2: we don't want to say existed. It brings up anger,
- 17:29Speaker 2: It brings up frustration, It brings up overwhelmingness, It brings
- 17:33Speaker 2: up a lot of things that we do not want
- 17:37Speaker 2: to It even brings up the fact that we don't
- 17:41Speaker 2: even want to be accountable for some of the things
- 17:43Speaker 2: that happen to us. But yet we still have to
- 17:45Speaker 2: be accountable for what happens because we play a role
- 17:49Speaker 2: in our brokenness sometimes too, and to be able to
- 17:54Speaker 2: acknowledge that will help with the healing process. So I
- 17:57Speaker 2: thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and your
- 18:01Speaker 2: experience with us about healing, and we're definitely gonna be
- 18:06Speaker 2: talking some more about that now. Listen, you guys. The
- 18:10Speaker 2: next young lady is definitely the visionary of.
- 18:15Speaker 3: This whole thing.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Like I said, this is part two, so if you
- 18:18Speaker 2: miss part one, go find it and rejoin us. But
- 18:23Speaker 2: miss Angela Thomas Smith is definitely my big sister, my mentor,
- 18:30Speaker 2: my stretcher beyond what I even know of my own
- 18:35Speaker 2: comfort zone because she keeps me in spaces that don't
- 18:38Speaker 2: always feel comfortable. To me, but she don't care none
- 18:42Speaker 2: about none of that, because if she sees something within you,
- 18:44Speaker 2: she's gonna pull it out of you. So I've been
- 18:49Speaker 2: trying to stay in the background for a lot of things,
- 18:52Speaker 2: but y'all, she don't let me stay in the background,
- 18:54Speaker 2: which is why I am your host again today. So
- 18:58Speaker 2: with no further us do, I'm going to bring Miss
- 19:02Speaker 2: Angela up and she's gonna talk to us about empowerment,
- 19:05Speaker 2: because that's one thing this woman is good at is
- 19:07Speaker 2: empowering you in the most unusual ways.
- 19:12Speaker 6: So come on up here, amen, Amen, Amen. I want
- 19:17Speaker 6: to thank everyone for joining us today. For those that
- 19:19Speaker 6: do not know who I am, I am the Queen
- 19:22Speaker 6: of Collaboration, Angela Thomas Smith. I am, of course the visionier.
- 19:27Speaker 6: And y'all excuse me if y'all hear any noise in
- 19:29Speaker 6: the background. I am currently at the hospital. My mom
- 19:33Speaker 6: is in the hospital. But I wanted to go forth.
- 19:35Speaker 6: I wanted to let people know that we can push
- 19:38Speaker 6: past our current situations and move past it. So I'm
- 19:43Speaker 6: yet going forth with this conference on today. So I'm
- 19:47Speaker 6: going to be sharing on empowerments. What is empowerment? I'm
- 19:51Speaker 6: gonna talk about understanding what empowerment means and emotional wellness
- 19:56Speaker 6: and relationships. And then we're gonna learn how to apply
- 20:00Speaker 6: the Heart framework to strengthen your sense of self and
- 20:04Speaker 6: improve your connection with others. We're gonna show. We're gonna
- 20:09Speaker 6: show today how we can practice healthy, heart centered empowerment
- 20:15Speaker 6: and daily life. So I'm gonna start by just sharing
- 20:18Speaker 6: a definition for empower empower means to give someone the authority,
- 20:23Speaker 6: the confidence, or the power to do something. It involves
- 20:27Speaker 6: enabling a person or group to take control of their circumstances,
- 20:31Speaker 6: making decisions, and actively shaping their own lives. Again, I
- 20:38Speaker 6: thank you guys for allowing me to share on today.
- 20:43Speaker 6: So for me, what does it mean to empower oneself?
- 20:48Speaker 6: To empower one's self is to recognize your own worth,
- 20:53Speaker 6: claim your voice, and to take responsibilities for your action
- 20:57Speaker 6: and choices. It means building self confidence, seeking knowledge, setting boundaries,
- 21:05Speaker 6: and taking proactive steps towards your goals. Empowering yourself is
- 21:10Speaker 6: about believing you deserve happiness and success and taking actions
- 21:15Speaker 6: to achieve both. So how do we do that? So
- 21:20Speaker 6: today I'm going to share with you three action steps
- 21:23Speaker 6: and then y'all, I'm gonna move on, not your way.
- 21:25Speaker 6: I don't usually stay long. I just drop a couple
- 21:27Speaker 6: of nuggies and then I just keep you pushing. Because
- 21:30Speaker 6: all of these things that we're sharing about, it's already
- 21:34Speaker 6: in us. We just need to tap into it. Because
- 21:37Speaker 6: I believe in Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. I also
- 21:40Speaker 6: believe in Genesis two and seven when he said he
- 21:42Speaker 6: breathed that breath of life into us. Everything that we
- 21:45Speaker 6: needed was the positive in us. And we just need
- 21:48Speaker 6: to activate those things and stir up those things that's
- 21:51Speaker 6: on the inside of us. So today I'm gonna drop
- 21:54Speaker 6: these three action steps in your ears and in your spirit,
- 22:00Speaker 6: and hopefully you will implement one. So today understand self
- 22:05Speaker 6: awareness and acceptance. It takes time to reflect on who
- 22:09Speaker 6: you are, your strengths, your weaknesses, your values, in your dreams.
- 22:14Speaker 6: How do we do that. We can journal, we can meditate,
- 22:19Speaker 6: and do an honest self assessment on how to recognize
- 22:24Speaker 6: your unique worth. I often hear Trevida talk about doing
- 22:30Speaker 6: a self analysis, and she talks about how she had
- 22:34Speaker 6: to do that. That you don't always want to look
- 22:38Speaker 6: at yourself and identify those things in those areas where
- 22:41Speaker 6: you may be going wrong or those areas that you
- 22:44Speaker 6: need help with. But just looking at those areas and
- 22:47Speaker 6: being able to be aware of them and accepting some
- 22:50Speaker 6: of those things and willing to move past it. That
- 22:54Speaker 6: is what we do. And step one when we learn
- 22:56Speaker 6: how and who we are and accepting those things. And
- 23:00Speaker 6: then once we do that, once we have accepted who
- 23:05Speaker 6: we are, what we are, what we stand for, our mores,
- 23:07Speaker 6: our days, our weakness is our strength, and all those things,
- 23:10Speaker 6: then we can begin to set goals. We can begin
- 23:14Speaker 6: to set boundaries. We can decide what we truly want
- 23:18Speaker 6: for our lives, realistically meaningful goals. We can create a
- 23:24Speaker 6: healthy surrounding, create boundaries that identify who we are and
- 23:32Speaker 6: what we will accept. Also protecting your energy here space
- 23:41Speaker 6: in your emotions. That is very important to your well being.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Given your self permission to say no if you won't
- 23:53Speaker 6: and yes when you won't, but most importantly understanding that
- 23:56Speaker 6: no it is a word, it is a sentence, it
- 23:59Speaker 6: is a statement, and then when you say it, mean it.
- 24:03Speaker 6: The third thing is being consistent and being courageous. Break
- 24:11Speaker 6: those goals down into manageable steps, commit to a daily process.
- 24:16Speaker 6: We should be implementing things into our life daily. We
- 24:20Speaker 6: call them a lot of us. We say we have
- 24:23Speaker 6: to set up time for self care. But self care
- 24:26Speaker 6: should be a part of your daily. It should be
- 24:30Speaker 6: you caring about yourself and you aligning to those things.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Should be something that is incorporated into your daily. I'm
- 24:38Speaker 6: also a spiritual person, So I have a couple of
- 24:41Speaker 6: scriptures that I want to leave with you guys on today,
- 24:45Speaker 6: because in the Bible it doesn't necessarily talks directly about
- 24:51Speaker 6: empowerment word for word about empowerment, but it's definitely reference
- 24:56Speaker 6: in the Bible and understanding that our strength, our courage,
- 25:01Speaker 6: and sense of worth is ultimately it comes from God.
- 25:06Speaker 6: The Bible teaches us that God created us in his image,
- 25:12Speaker 6: He loves us unconditional, and He has equipped us with
- 25:16Speaker 6: the Holy Spirit to overcome and to walk out our purpose.
- 25:22Speaker 6: So I want to leave you with I got three
- 25:24Speaker 6: scriptures I want to share. One is Philippians four and thirteen.
- 25:31Speaker 6: God is a source of strength. The Bible often reminds
- 25:35Speaker 6: us that the true power to endure, grow and succeed
- 25:39Speaker 6: comes from God. He says all things are impossible through Christ,
- 25:43Speaker 6: who strengthens me. He didn't say some things he said
- 25:46Speaker 6: all things are possible through Christ. That strengthens me. So
- 25:50Speaker 6: this makes me believe that I have the ability that
- 25:55Speaker 6: I can do anything if I rely on him. Empowering
- 26:01Speaker 6: yourself knowing that if you trust in Him that you
- 26:05Speaker 6: can have all things. Another one is Joshua one and nine.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Have encourage and confidence, Be strong and courageous, Do not
- 26:14Speaker 6: be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your
- 26:18Speaker 6: God will be with you wherever you go. Empowerment biblically
- 26:23Speaker 6: means trust in God's presence, in his boldness, to step
- 26:29Speaker 6: out of your comfort zone and to allow him to
- 26:33Speaker 6: work in your life. I'm gonna leave you with this
- 26:36Speaker 6: last structure. And this Galatian seeks into empowering others because
- 26:42Speaker 6: once you have been empowered, it is always important to
- 26:48Speaker 6: empower others, because once you heal, you're able to help others.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Here they say, hurt people hurt. So I believe that
- 26:56Speaker 6: once you heal, you should be able to help the
- 26:59Speaker 6: next person. So empowering others, as reference to Delations six
- 27:03Speaker 6: and two, carry each other's burdens. In this way, you
- 27:08Speaker 6: will fulfill the law of Christ. We are called not
- 27:12Speaker 6: just to strengthen ourselves, but to be of others in encouragement, love,
- 27:17Speaker 6: and service. So I leave y'all with this empowerment through
- 27:22Speaker 6: the biblical lens. It's all about embracing God's given identity,
- 27:28Speaker 6: learning his strength and living with courage, and using the
- 27:32Speaker 6: gifts that He's placed on the inside of you to
- 27:36Speaker 6: impact others. It's knowing that true transformation and confidence comes
- 27:40Speaker 6: from holding God's promises in your heart and helping others
- 27:44Speaker 6: walk through theirs. One key takeaway I want you to
- 27:49Speaker 6: remember Biblically, empowerment is both personally in communal. It inspires
- 27:56Speaker 6: believers to rise above the challenge with faith and to
- 28:00Speaker 6: lift others as they shine in the lights. Allow God's
- 28:05Speaker 6: glory to shine through you. I hope that there's something
- 28:10Speaker 6: that I've shared on today that will empower you. It's
- 28:14Speaker 6: time to be healed, it's time to be empowered, and
- 28:18Speaker 6: it's time to align with the things that God has
- 28:21Speaker 6: called us to. It's through our resents that He allow
- 28:24Speaker 6: us to be able to do just what we're doing today.
- 28:28Speaker 6: A lot of us have endured trauma, but we were
- 28:31Speaker 6: able to go through it and to come through it.
- 28:34Speaker 6: God deals with the heart and he intends to the
- 28:38Speaker 6: matters of our heart be empowered and know that if
- 28:43Speaker 6: we can assist you that we are here. I am
- 28:46Speaker 6: the Queen of Collaboration, Angela Thomas Smith, and I can
- 28:49Speaker 6: be reached via most social media sites, but you can
- 28:53Speaker 6: reach me at link tree backslash Queen of Collaboration. Again,
- 28:58Speaker 6: I thank you guys for tuning in today and I
- 29:00Speaker 6: hope that you will be blessed by something that we share.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Right now.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Listen, that was the Queen of Collaborations, my mentor my
- 29:16Speaker 2: big sister.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Listen, if she can't do.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Nothing else, she gonna empower you to.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Do what it is she sees within you.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Because whatever God placed in front of her for her
- 29:28Speaker 2: to bring it out of herself, if she sees it
- 29:30Speaker 2: and you, she gonna.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Bring it out of you.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So there is no way that I could not be
- 29:38Speaker 2: met with this lady and not be where I am today.
- 29:42Speaker 2: So I have to give her flowers for that, because
- 29:45Speaker 2: she is phenomenal in every person that she comes across,
- 29:49Speaker 2: because she is not selfish with her heart, She's not
- 29:53Speaker 2: selfish with anything that she has, and so she's definitely
- 29:58Speaker 2: the walking billboard for empowerment growth, stretching you beyond what
- 30:04Speaker 2: you see stretching you beyond what you feel, and walking
- 30:08Speaker 2: with God himself because a generous heart is a person
- 30:13Speaker 2: after God's own heart. Because God gave his life for
- 30:18Speaker 2: us to be able to do what we do, and
- 30:20Speaker 2: so we continue to try.
- 30:21Speaker 3: To grow and be close with Him.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Now I'm up next you guys, so I'm gonna be
- 30:27Speaker 2: talking to you about aligned and being in alignment with
- 30:31Speaker 2: what God has called me to do. Hasn't always been
- 30:35Speaker 2: the greatest thing for me because I've always tried to,
- 30:38Speaker 2: you know, stay in the background, not be in the
- 30:41Speaker 2: forefront of anything. Because when you're short, when you're four eight,
- 30:47Speaker 2: you're always in the front, even when you want to
- 30:50Speaker 2: be in the back. It's time to take pictures. What's
- 30:53Speaker 2: the first thing they say, you short, you gotta be
- 30:55Speaker 2: in the front. I don't always want to be in
- 30:57Speaker 2: the front, but I've always been trying to hide in
- 31:00Speaker 2: the background when it came to anything. But I can
- 31:04Speaker 2: no longer be in the background. It's time for me
- 31:07Speaker 2: to take my rightful place in the spotlight. So I
- 31:10Speaker 2: am aligning with what God is calling me to do.
- 31:13Speaker 2: And when I got the notice that I was doing align,
- 31:19Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, God, I see what you're doing here,
- 31:21Speaker 2: You're sending the confirmation of the prayer.
- 31:23Speaker 6: That I prayed.
- 31:25Speaker 2: And you know, I don't be wanting answers right away,
- 31:29Speaker 2: but God always answers right away. And that's the one
- 31:33Speaker 2: thing I'm learning as I get through this process for myself,
- 31:38Speaker 2: and just to give you a brief definition of what
- 31:41Speaker 2: align is, and that is to arrange things to give
- 31:45Speaker 2: support for you know, whatever it is may be needing
- 31:50Speaker 2: support now. Me, as I've said, I haven't always been
- 31:55Speaker 2: in alignment with what God has wanted me to do
- 31:57Speaker 2: because I've wanted to be in the background. I wanted
- 32:00Speaker 2: to stay out of the spotlight and just you know,
- 32:04Speaker 2: be over there and be called upon as needed. Well,
- 32:09Speaker 2: I can't run no more, I can't hide in the background.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I am aligning to the purpose and what God has
- 32:15Speaker 2: for me. So I'm gonna give you just a little brief,
- 32:18Speaker 2: little background about myself and how I've come to this space.
- 32:24Speaker 2: And it's going to start with a prayer that I
- 32:26Speaker 2: prayed in twenty nineteen going into the new year of
- 32:29Speaker 2: twenty twenty. And that prayer was a simple prayer I thought,
- 32:33Speaker 2: not understanding the full impact of what it meant, and
- 32:37Speaker 2: that prayer was simply this, God, I need you to
- 32:41Speaker 2: connect me to the people that are connected to the
- 32:43Speaker 2: destiny and what you have for me. I also need
- 32:46Speaker 2: you to remove those who are not connected to the
- 32:48Speaker 2: destiny that you have for me and help me to
- 32:51Speaker 2: be okay with that.
- 32:53Speaker 7: Now.
- 32:53Speaker 3: When that happened, it's a simple prayer.
- 32:56Speaker 2: So I thought, I did not know that what was
- 33:00Speaker 2: coming behind that was I was gonna lose people that
- 33:04Speaker 2: meant the world to me, and I didn't know that
- 33:10Speaker 2: it was gonna be tough to let them go. But
- 33:12Speaker 2: I also understood what I said was God helped me
- 33:16Speaker 2: to be okay. And that goes back to the healing
- 33:18Speaker 2: part of losing someone that I did not know I
- 33:22Speaker 2: was gonna have to lose in order to get to
- 33:25Speaker 2: where I am. And in that journey from the beginning,
- 33:30Speaker 2: I started my actual writing process to be where I'm
- 33:35Speaker 2: at today, and I wrote a book, I put a
- 33:37Speaker 2: poetry book together. Had no idea on how to publish,
- 33:41Speaker 2: how to do any of this stuff formaty, none of
- 33:44Speaker 2: that stuff had no clue. However, the prayer that I
- 33:47Speaker 2: prayed and asked, God, if I give this to you,
- 33:49Speaker 2: if this is meant to be if this is where
- 33:51Speaker 2: I'm supposed to go, I give it to you and
- 33:53Speaker 2: everything will fall into place according to your will for me.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Now that's exactly what I said, had no clue, didn't
- 34:01Speaker 2: know anything about it, got the book like, Okay.
- 34:04Speaker 3: God, this looks a hot mess.
- 34:06Speaker 2: But ultimately I'm still gonna go with it because you
- 34:09Speaker 2: told me to trust the process. So I'm trusting the process.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Even though it doesn't look great, it doesn't look wonderful,
- 34:15Speaker 2: it is what it is. I'm still trusting the process.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Now along that way, I have people criticizing, well, I
- 34:21Speaker 2: would have never put my name on that. It doesn't
- 34:24Speaker 2: look good, it's not aligned, it's not formatic, right. And
- 34:27Speaker 2: then my response to those people who were simply this,
- 34:31Speaker 2: you would never put your name on an assignment that
- 34:33Speaker 2: is not for you. So if it's not your paper
- 34:36Speaker 2: and it's not your work, I wouldn't expect you to
- 34:39Speaker 2: put your name on it. It wasn't your assignment, it
- 34:42Speaker 2: was mine. So I did what I was instructed to do,
- 34:45Speaker 2: which was put the book together, and I did, And
- 34:50Speaker 2: doing that led me to a very first speaking engagement
- 34:55Speaker 2: through one of my poems that I had written through
- 34:59Speaker 2: a sister's empowerment movement that led me to my virtual
- 35:03Speaker 2: speaking engagement. From there led me to a virtual monologue
- 35:08Speaker 2: where I met the visionary And ever since then, everything
- 35:13Speaker 2: that has been falling into place, and me being obedient
- 35:17Speaker 2: to what God has called me to do and doing
- 35:21Speaker 2: the podcast, doing the books and being and I've still
- 35:25Speaker 2: wanted to stay in the background, but God has slowly
- 35:28Speaker 2: pushed me out and again in twenty twenty one, it
- 35:32Speaker 2: was like, Okay, God, he showed me a vision and
- 35:36Speaker 2: that was I was going to be speaking in different locations,
- 35:39Speaker 2: in different places, and I'm like, God, I think you
- 35:41Speaker 2: sent that vision to the wrong address.
- 35:43Speaker 3: That's not for me.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I don't do public speaking. However, I'm a backtrack just
- 35:49Speaker 2: a little bit. In twenty fourteen, I went to school,
- 35:53Speaker 2: went to college twenty fifteen and had to take a
- 35:57Speaker 2: public speaking class. Didn't have a clue on why I
- 36:00Speaker 2: was taking public speaking when I was in school for
- 36:03Speaker 2: medical office administration had no clue, didn't understand it at all,
- 36:08Speaker 2: And I'm like, why am I taking public speaking? This
- 36:11Speaker 2: has nothing to do with what I'm about to do. However,
- 36:14Speaker 2: God already knew that I needed that to be able
- 36:17Speaker 2: to do what I'm doing now. And that's the way
- 36:20Speaker 2: you pay attention to the puzzle pieces that God has
- 36:23Speaker 2: given you. He gives you those little snippets of things,
- 36:26Speaker 2: and he gives you those little visions, and oftentimes we
- 36:29Speaker 2: want to run away from those little visions and be like, Okay, God,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I don't think that was meant for me. You know,
- 36:34Speaker 2: I think that was meant someone else. And He'll rewind
- 36:37Speaker 2: it and send it to you again until you get it.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Because God is good at re routing us when we
- 36:44Speaker 2: think we know the direction we're supposed to go in
- 36:47Speaker 2: God's GPS is never wrong at all.
- 36:50Speaker 3: So if you ever want.
- 36:52Speaker 2: To know when you're off track, and if it ain't
- 36:54Speaker 2: going the right way, you off track, and God is
- 36:57Speaker 2: going to send you some stuff to reroute you, to
- 36:59Speaker 2: keep you in alignment with the purpose in which He's
- 37:02Speaker 2: created you. Because I will tell you several times I
- 37:04Speaker 2: have been rerouted because I thought I knew the right direction,
- 37:07Speaker 2: and God saying I didn't tell you to take a left.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I told you to take a right, and you wanted
- 37:11Speaker 2: to go over here to the left. Now you've got
- 37:13Speaker 2: to travel a longer distance to get back on the
- 37:16Speaker 2: right track. But I let you have your free will,
- 37:18Speaker 2: so to speak, and you got off track, but I'm
- 37:21Speaker 2: rerouting you back to being in alignment with what I've
- 37:25Speaker 2: called you to do. So alignment is definitely one of
- 37:29Speaker 2: those things that I can say.
- 37:32Speaker 4: For me.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I'm stubborn, I'm hard headed, and I don't always like
- 37:37Speaker 2: to do what He's telling me to do. But I
- 37:41Speaker 2: stay the course even when it doesn't make sense, even
- 37:43Speaker 2: when I don't understand. And that's how life is going
- 37:47Speaker 2: to take us. Sometimes there's gonna be things that God
- 37:49Speaker 2: is placing in us around us that we don't understand. Why,
- 37:53Speaker 2: Like God, why are you putting me in this place
- 37:55Speaker 2: in the situation. It doesn't make sense, it doesn't feel good,
- 37:59Speaker 2: it feel uncomfortable, but it's in alignment with what God
- 38:03Speaker 2: has called you to do.
- 38:05Speaker 3: So stay the course.
- 38:06Speaker 2: And I got one, maybe two scriptures that I want
- 38:10Speaker 2: to read that I like that go along with my alignment,
- 38:15Speaker 2: and that comes from Proverbs chapter three, verses five through six,
- 38:20Speaker 2: and that is trusting the Lord with all your heart,
- 38:22Speaker 2: and do not lean on your own understanding in all
- 38:25Speaker 2: your ways. Acknowledge Him and he will make straight your past.
- 38:29Speaker 2: And that is one thing that I can honestly say
- 38:32Speaker 2: that if you stay the course of what God has
- 38:36Speaker 2: directed you to do, you will never falter from His
- 38:40Speaker 2: plans for your life because you've had a purpose from
- 38:43Speaker 2: the day you were conceived and placed on this earth.
- 38:46Speaker 2: And God knows what our paths are. We have to
- 38:50Speaker 2: be in alignment with His guidance and his knowledge for us.
- 38:55Speaker 2: He has never made a mistake with anything that He
- 38:57Speaker 2: has put in.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Us or on us, our earth around us.
- 39:00Speaker 2: And if you're mindful of the places and spaces you
- 39:04Speaker 2: put yourself in, make sure that they are in alignment
- 39:07Speaker 2: with what God is calling you to do, because if
- 39:10Speaker 2: they're offline in any capacity, you're gonna veer off course
- 39:15Speaker 2: from what God has told you to do. Also, the
- 39:18Speaker 2: other one is Jeremiah twenty nine, verse eleven. For I
- 39:23Speaker 2: know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
- 39:27Speaker 2: plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you
- 39:31Speaker 2: a future and a hope. God is intentional about everything
- 39:36Speaker 2: that he does for us, sometimes most of us, even me,
- 39:42Speaker 2: I am stubborn when it don't make sense to me.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I'm like God, look here, sir, I don't think that's right.
- 39:51Speaker 2: I don't know mm hmm. That don't make sense to me,
- 39:54Speaker 2: and I'm gonna have a question of two and he
- 39:57Speaker 2: gonna put me on hole and be like, look, just
- 39:59Speaker 2: do what I told you do and you'll be fine.
- 40:02Speaker 2: So I do my best to stay in alignment with him,
- 40:05Speaker 2: but I do fall short, and I am honest about that,
- 40:08Speaker 2: and I'm like, God, look here, you know, I'm gonna
- 40:11Speaker 2: have a couple of questions. I'm gonna call you about
- 40:13Speaker 2: seventeen times, and you're gonna put me on whole about
- 40:16Speaker 2: fifteen of them times, and then we're gonna continue our conversation. However,
- 40:20Speaker 2: it is what it is. But you guys, stay the course.
- 40:23Speaker 2: And this is one thing that I will always say,
- 40:26Speaker 2: and if you've ever attended one of my podcast shows,
- 40:29Speaker 2: this is my tagline, and that is to stay out
- 40:32Speaker 2: of God's business, because the only thing he needs from
- 40:35Speaker 2: us to do is be obedient to his directions, his
- 40:38Speaker 2: instructions for our lives. So we ain't got no business
- 40:41Speaker 2: being in God's business. He got all by himself. He
- 40:43Speaker 2: don't need nothing from us. All he needs us to
- 40:46Speaker 2: do is just follow his instructions and everything will fall
- 40:49Speaker 2: into place like it's supposed to.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Now.
- 40:51Speaker 2: That has been my spell on alignment. So I don't
- 40:56Speaker 2: know what anybody won't stay about that right now. However,
- 41:00Speaker 2: the next person that we got coming up is Miss Elizabeth. Listen, y'all,
- 41:05Speaker 2: let me tell you. This woman's story about resilience is
- 41:09Speaker 2: one that you need to hear because she is a
- 41:12Speaker 2: transformational coach. And when I tell you, she is phenomenal
- 41:17Speaker 2: because her story of resilience is one that only God
- 41:23Speaker 2: could write this story because He knew what her purpose
- 41:27Speaker 2: was before she even understood what her purpose was. So
- 41:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna let Miss Elizabeth come on up here. I'm
- 41:33Speaker 2: gonna get on out of the way.
- 41:36Speaker 4: Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to
- 41:40Speaker 4: be here. I am so excited to share my story.
- 41:44Speaker 4: So resilience, it's gonna touch on empowerment, it's gonna touch
- 41:49Speaker 4: on healing, it's gonna touch on alignment, it's gonna touch
- 41:52Speaker 4: on everything you've already heard of that some of these
- 41:55Speaker 4: Bible verses of these ladies have recited. You're gonna hear
- 42:00Speaker 4: them again in my story. I've given you more than
- 42:04Speaker 4: a story, though, today I'm giving you a roadmap, or
- 42:08Speaker 4: your own roadmap to resilience. This is a proven framework
- 42:12Speaker 4: that was that I developed through God's grace and mercy
- 42:18Speaker 4: twenty five years ago, going through the darkest days of
- 42:22Speaker 4: my life, because He did have a purpose for me.
- 42:25Speaker 4: He has a purpose for each and every one of us.
- 42:28Speaker 4: This world is constantly changing a lot of times that
- 42:32Speaker 4: leaves us feeling stuck, unsure about our future. There's been
- 42:38Speaker 4: so many times over the course of my life that
- 42:40Speaker 4: I felt unseen, like I had little, no value, and
- 42:45Speaker 4: basically been told that by people in my life, some
- 42:48Speaker 4: people close in my life that should be your biggest supporters.
- 42:53Speaker 4: I've been broken, I've been defeated, tired of pretending, full
- 42:58Speaker 4: of nothing but harder and pain, and wondering when it
- 43:01Speaker 4: was ever going to stop. But the one thing that
- 43:04Speaker 4: kept me going was the fact that God's voice on
- 43:08Speaker 4: my heart, his hope, the hope that he gave me,
- 43:14Speaker 4: let me know that He had a plan for me.
- 43:16Speaker 4: He has a plan for each and every single one
- 43:19Speaker 4: of you here today. That's why you're here listening to
- 43:22Speaker 4: this podcast or this summit. You're listening to these talks.
- 43:29Speaker 4: The foundation that I'm teaching you today, You're going to
- 43:32Speaker 4: walk away with two keys to unlocking your miracle power.
- 43:37Speaker 4: The first is moving. When you're feeling stuck, it's because
- 43:42Speaker 4: you're being called to move. If you're stuck on that
- 43:44Speaker 4: broken down sofa, not broken down rekinder, you have to
- 43:48Speaker 4: get up and walk to the door or the window
- 43:50Speaker 4: so that you can see the mountains that God is
- 43:52Speaker 4: moving for you. Because it's not a one way street.
- 43:56Speaker 4: He doesn't do it all. It takes you moving. It
- 43:58Speaker 4: takes you being intention and take an action. The second
- 44:03Speaker 4: key is belief. You have to believe in that greater
- 44:09Speaker 4: good it's been. It was a roller coaster ride for
- 44:12Speaker 4: me early on. Sometimes I would believe. Other times I
- 44:16Speaker 4: would find myself in a deep pitt of thesphere, asking why.
- 44:21Speaker 4: But in those moments when I was asking why, he
- 44:25Speaker 4: flooded me again with comfort and peace, letting me know
- 44:28Speaker 4: that He had a plan for me and that I
- 44:29Speaker 4: couldn't stop. Today, I'm giving you a roadmap for tapping
- 44:35Speaker 4: into your inner spirit of resilience, that's the Holy spirit
- 44:39Speaker 4: that lives within each and every one of us, so
- 44:43Speaker 4: that you can begin to rise and keep moving. The
- 44:50Speaker 4: end result you when you begin tapping into your inner
- 44:54Speaker 4: spirit of resilience and you develop all of the keys,
- 44:58Speaker 4: you unlock your mirror power. That's a power that was
- 45:02Speaker 4: placed there by God himself. Last November, two weeks before
- 45:06Speaker 4: I was to speak at a healing conference, but God
- 45:09Speaker 4: spoke to me in the middle of the night and
- 45:11Speaker 4: he said, you're supposed to be speaking to my miracle power.
- 45:16Speaker 4: That's when everything clicked and I began to realize why
- 45:21Speaker 4: everything in my life the last two and a half
- 45:23Speaker 4: decades has ever happened. I have no questions anymore. This
- 45:30Speaker 4: is all a part of my message that He has
- 45:32Speaker 4: called me to deliver to this world because He has
- 45:35Speaker 4: been healing hearts, minds, and souls during me for thirteen years,
- 45:40Speaker 4: and he's continuing to do it today at a much
- 45:43Speaker 4: bigger level. I feel so blessed. Romans eight eleven says,
- 45:48Speaker 4: the same spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives
- 45:52Speaker 4: in you. I'm living proof of this promise. You just
- 45:58Speaker 4: have to learn to talk into it. I'm not here
- 46:03Speaker 4: by chance. I'm here by design, fully standing in His
- 46:06Speaker 4: authority that He's given me. And guess what, so are you?
- 46:12Speaker 7: So?
- 46:12Speaker 4: I'd like to invite you to close your eyes, and
- 46:15Speaker 4: I want you to look and just imagine what your
- 46:20Speaker 4: life would feel like if you were at full peace, free, fulfilled,
- 46:27Speaker 4: live in each day just with that fire in your
- 46:31Speaker 4: soul lit. What would that feel like? What if success
- 46:37Speaker 4: didn't feel out of reach but actually within your grasp?
- 46:43Speaker 4: Join me, come on back, open your eyes. That's exactly
- 46:48Speaker 4: what I am setting you up today. For today you're
- 46:52Speaker 4: gonna walk away with your own roadmap to resilience, a
- 46:55Speaker 4: shortcut confidence, so bold dreams and unstoppable success. Not success
- 47:01Speaker 4: of this world because that isn't real success, but eternal success.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Elizabeth means God is my promise and I am living,
- 47:16Speaker 4: breathing proof of when you begin turning to Him, no
- 47:20Speaker 4: matter what mistakes. Just rising up past your mistakes. You
- 47:26Speaker 4: think you made a mistake, you think you failed, you
- 47:30Speaker 4: didn't learn how to feel forward, keep getting up. I'm
- 47:34Speaker 4: proof of the miracles that you can see once you
- 47:38Speaker 4: keep moving. Miracles don't visit the perfect, They visit the ready.
- 47:44Speaker 4: And today I'm preparing you to live open to a
- 47:48Speaker 4: life full of miracles so you can learn how to
- 47:51Speaker 4: embrace the mystery of the journey we call life and
- 47:54Speaker 4: keep moving so that you can fly high, just as
- 47:56Speaker 4: I have. My first are in my roadmap to resilience
- 48:03Speaker 4: is rise at the age of seven, I was chasing
- 48:07Speaker 4: big dreams and making it big on the country music stage.
- 48:11Speaker 4: I was known for my singing voice, and everything was
- 48:16Speaker 4: going in the direction of me moving to Nashville to
- 48:20Speaker 4: pursue a career in country music as soon as I
- 48:22Speaker 4: graduated high school. But at the age of fourteen, that
- 48:27Speaker 4: dream was shattered. One week in my freshman year of
- 48:31Speaker 4: high school, I was severely injured in a car accident
- 48:35Speaker 4: where I suffered a traumatic brain injury. I shouldn't be
- 48:40Speaker 4: here today. I was given less than a twenty five
- 48:43Speaker 4: percent survival right. I was resuscitated multiple times at the scene.
- 48:49Speaker 4: They had to bring me back multiple times. But I'm
- 48:53Speaker 4: here today, and I want you to think, in that
- 48:58Speaker 4: accident that one shirt cumbstance a world of circumstance. I
- 49:03Speaker 4: lost absolutely everything, But in losing everything, I gained so
- 49:12Speaker 4: much more. As I will continue to share with you.
- 49:18Speaker 4: I it was three full months before I made it
- 49:21Speaker 4: back home for good, after relearning to do everything once
- 49:25Speaker 4: I woke from my coma. Once back home, this was
- 49:29Speaker 4: when I discovered the biggest challenges that I would ever face.
- 49:34Speaker 4: I dealt with judgment. I dealt with rejection. People would
- 49:38Speaker 4: see something physically wrong with me and decide that I
- 49:42Speaker 4: wasn't worth their time. This hurt, this was devastating. I
- 49:47Speaker 4: came home from school multiple days a week and would
- 49:50Speaker 4: tell my parents I should have died. I wish I
- 49:52Speaker 4: was dead, and I wanted to kill myself. I found
- 49:55Speaker 4: myself down on my knees, screaming, crying out to God
- 49:59Speaker 4: with such a anger, such hurt, such pain, such heartache,
- 50:03Speaker 4: beating my fists into the floor, asking God why he
- 50:07Speaker 4: did this to me? What did I do to deserve this?
- 50:13Speaker 4: But that's when He flooded every empty space that was
- 50:17Speaker 4: inside of me with comfort, with peace and an overwhelming love,
- 50:23Speaker 4: which was exactly what I needed in that moment, and
- 50:26Speaker 4: he spoke to me, spoke to my heart, and said,
- 50:29Speaker 4: I have a plan for you. You can't stop. You
- 50:32Speaker 4: have to keep going. In that moment, I knew it
- 50:38Speaker 4: wasn't about me anymore. It was about that greater plan.
- 50:43Speaker 4: I couldn't stop. I had to keep moving because that
- 50:47Speaker 4: was the only way that I was going to see
- 50:49Speaker 4: how his plan was gonna end, how everything was gonna
- 50:55Speaker 4: fit into place. He gave me that.
- 50:57Speaker 6: First puzzle piece.
- 51:00Speaker 4: I had to shift my heart from paying the selflessness
- 51:04Speaker 4: I began going to bed each and every night praying
- 51:07Speaker 4: for others, begging God to be the voice of hope
- 51:10Speaker 4: on others' hearts that were suffering, just as he was
- 51:13Speaker 4: the voice of hope on my heart, having absolutely no
- 51:19Speaker 4: idea that just twelve years later, I was gonna become
- 51:25Speaker 4: that voice of hope for others. Once I graduated with
- 51:28Speaker 4: my degree in occupational therapy, I've been healing heart, spines,
- 51:32Speaker 4: and souls. Like I said, for thirteen years working in
- 51:36Speaker 4: occupational therapy. That's what God does. He takes our brokenness,
- 51:43Speaker 4: he takes our weakness, and he puts us together stronger.
- 51:47Speaker 4: I walked through the fire, but He was right beside me,
- 51:50Speaker 4: carrying me through, and he turned my ashes into beauty.
- 51:54Speaker 4: He gave me strength. Isaiah sixty one says, Arise, shine,
- 52:02Speaker 4: for your light has come. The glory of the Lord
- 52:04Speaker 4: rises upon you. Rising doesn't mean that it's going to
- 52:10Speaker 4: be easy, but it means believing in the dream that
- 52:15Speaker 4: your dream still lives. Those dreams that He placed on
- 52:20Speaker 4: your heart are no mistake. That dream I had as
- 52:25Speaker 4: that seven year old girl singing on a stage using
- 52:28Speaker 4: my voice. It shifted a bit, but I'm still had
- 52:34Speaker 4: that dream of getting on a stage using my voice,
- 52:37Speaker 4: but it's for something much bigger, not for pain, but
- 52:41Speaker 4: for impact, and to do what I can to change
- 52:45Speaker 4: this world, make it a better place, and to continue
- 52:48Speaker 4: glorifying the Lord, to help him to reach the people
- 52:53Speaker 4: that he needs to reach so he can heal hearts, wines,
- 52:56Speaker 4: and souls. So what is it that you are committed
- 53:01Speaker 4: to rising above today? What's your why? That why? That's
- 53:09Speaker 4: your motivation? My why as hot teenager was each and
- 53:13Speaker 4: every person here, all of the lives, thousands of lives
- 53:18Speaker 4: that I've touched, either one to one working as an
- 53:21Speaker 4: occupational therapist or for the past eight years, by getting
- 53:25Speaker 4: up us on the stage and speaking, you are my why.
- 53:29Speaker 4: I want to let you in on a little secret.
- 53:32Speaker 4: No one can ever steal your why. I want you
- 53:38Speaker 4: to think, how might God use your story to help
- 53:42Speaker 4: someone else or if they've if he's used it in
- 53:47Speaker 4: the past. I want you to hold onto that. Let
- 53:50Speaker 4: not be your motivation to keep moving, do never stop.
- 53:56Speaker 4: My second r is refrain. This is how I learned
- 54:02Speaker 4: to shift my limitations from possibility. From my limitations to possibility.
- 54:09Speaker 4: I began going to bed every single night with a
- 54:11Speaker 4: thankful and grateful heart. No matter what had happened during
- 54:15Speaker 4: the day three hours earlier. I may have wanted, wish
- 54:19Speaker 4: that I was no longer here, wish that I had
- 54:22Speaker 4: died in that accident, wanting to end my life. But
- 54:26Speaker 4: every night my focus was on him. I turned to
- 54:32Speaker 4: him every single night, thanking him for my life, thanking
- 54:35Speaker 4: him for my blessing, and asking him to leave me,
- 54:39Speaker 4: help me to make the right choices so that I
- 54:41Speaker 4: could do His will with my life. Reframing means renewing
- 54:46Speaker 4: of your mind Romans twelve two. Be transformed by the
- 54:52Speaker 4: renewing of your mind. I began to shift from why
- 54:57Speaker 4: me to what is God? God doing through this? Nothing
- 55:04Speaker 4: in your life is chance. I've learned that everything in
- 55:10Speaker 4: my life the last twenty five years has happened for
- 55:13Speaker 4: a reason. You're not going to know in the moment why.
- 55:18Speaker 4: But with time, as you continue moving looking back, you're
- 55:23Speaker 4: going to get those answers. And that's part of what
- 55:25Speaker 4: gives your power. Shifting from I can't to God can,
- 55:32Speaker 4: from I'm not enough, I am chosen, I am worthy,
- 55:37Speaker 4: and I am his I promise you God doesn't create
- 55:44Speaker 4: the pain that happens in your life. A lot of times,
- 55:48Speaker 4: a lot of the pain that I have endured was
- 55:53Speaker 4: because of my own choice, is my own free will,
- 55:56Speaker 4: not being sure that I was making the right decision.
- 56:00Speaker 4: But every single time he chased after me, if I
- 56:03Speaker 4: made the wrong decision in that in his perfect time,
- 56:07Speaker 4: when he needed to pull me out to protect me,
- 56:09Speaker 4: to rescue me, he has if I made a wrong choice,
- 56:15Speaker 4: Just like Trevita said, it comes around again. You're gonna
- 56:19Speaker 4: hear about one wrong choice a little bit later. But
- 56:23Speaker 4: I have at least four more of those wrong choices
- 56:25Speaker 4: that I made, And every single time he has chased
- 56:29Speaker 4: after me and brought me back to exactly where he
- 56:32Speaker 4: needed me to be, my dreams began to shift. And
- 56:40Speaker 4: like I said, not for fame, but for impact, to
- 56:43Speaker 4: make a difference so that I could do my part
- 56:46Speaker 4: to change this world. When you shift how you think,
- 56:52Speaker 4: you shift how you live open to all of life's possibilities.
- 56:57Speaker 4: I'm so happy that you're here because at the end
- 57:00Speaker 4: of this presentation, I'm going to have an invitation for
- 57:04Speaker 4: you so that you can be equipped with the tools
- 57:08Speaker 4: to tap into your inner spirit of resilience so you
- 57:10Speaker 4: can begin to shift how you see everything around you.
- 57:16Speaker 4: So what is one challenge in your life that you
- 57:20Speaker 4: need to refrain today, What perspective shift would help you
- 57:27Speaker 4: to see it through a new lens of faith and possibility.
- 57:34Speaker 4: My third R is reflect. Like I said, when you
- 57:38Speaker 4: begin looking back on what you thought or mistakes, what
- 57:42Speaker 4: you thought were failures, that's how you gain power. Perspective
- 57:50Speaker 4: awareness is the root of transformation. Whenever I've been in
- 57:56Speaker 4: that stuck in that place of hurt, of anger, of
- 58:00Speaker 4: feeling like a failure or mistake, that's where my focus
- 58:05Speaker 4: lied because I wasn't aware of the external forces that
- 58:12Speaker 4: were somewhat causing where I was currently at. I began
- 58:19Speaker 4: to reflect and see that once I had moved path
- 58:22Speaker 4: through those situations, that what I thought broke me had
- 58:26Speaker 4: actually rebuilt me into the person that I was created
- 58:30Speaker 4: to be. Your purpose, who you were created to be.
- 58:34Speaker 4: That's how you find your power because you were created
- 58:37Speaker 4: for a purpose, You were created for a reason. You're
- 58:40Speaker 4: no mistake Jeremiah thirty seventeen. But I will restore you
- 58:47Speaker 4: to health and heal your wounds to clear the Lord.
- 58:51Speaker 4: He's done that for me. He's been doing that through
- 58:54Speaker 4: me for thirteen years. Romans fifteen thirteen, made the God
- 58:59Speaker 4: of fulfill you with all joy and peace as your
- 59:03Speaker 4: trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope
- 59:07Speaker 4: by the power of the Holy Spirit. God was healing
- 59:11Speaker 4: my heart and he has rebuilt in peace by peace.
- 59:19Speaker 4: He doesn't give us the full picture, but I'm okay
- 59:23Speaker 4: with that, because the beauty lies in learning to embrace
- 59:27Speaker 4: the mystery of the journey that we call life. I
- 59:31Speaker 4: don't want the full picture. I don't want to know
- 59:33Speaker 4: the end result, because the true reward comes from discovering
- 59:39Speaker 4: each day when you have a breakthrough and you see
- 59:43Speaker 4: you received that reward, that's where the beauty lies. That's
- 59:48Speaker 4: the true ultimate reward. Reflection was how I reclaim my
- 59:56Speaker 4: voice and my purpose. It helped me to be a
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: to connect the dots between past prayers and current breakthroughs.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Just like twelve years after I was praying that prayer,
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: begging God to be the voice of hope for others,
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: just as he was for me. Twelve years later, I
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: became that voice of hope. No coincidence. That wasn't random,
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: that was in my DNA. That was what I was
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: designed to do. We all have a destiny, So I'm
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: begging you to believe it. Today, I'm giving you hope
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: so that you can have a stronger faith and begin
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: to trust in the journey that is placed in front
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: of you. What's one limiting belief that you're ready to
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: release today? Releasing those negative beliefs, those limiting beliefs, that doubt,
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: that fear. Releasing that stuff. That's how you can learn
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: to live open to receiving so much greater in return.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: What's one challenge that you've overcome that made you stronger.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: I want you to hold on to that challenge, keep
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: that in your back pocket. Let that be your motivation
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: to keep moving. Now, my fourth r rediscover who were
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: you before the world started telling you who you needed
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: to be. Do you feel like at times you have
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: to fit a certain mold to belong in this world?
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Let me let you in on a little secret. We're
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: not meant to belong in the world. You don't have
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: to fit anybody's mold, and you have nothing to prove
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: to anyone. The only mold you need to fit is
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: the one that you were created to be by God himself.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: When I was dealing with that judgment and rejection throughout
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: high school, once I healed and my voice got strong
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: enough to speak clearly more than just a whisper. Six
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: to ten months after the accident, I began taking voice
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: lessons again because my voice teacher wanted to help me
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: to get back to singing, because she saw my gifts.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: She knew that that was a passion that I loved
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: to do, so she wanted to help me to get
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: back to doing it. Guess what that passion was what
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: helped me to get through that judgment and that rejection
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: because once I got back to singing on the stage,
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: that was the one time that I wasn't being judged
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: and rejected because those haters saw something that I was
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: good at. They saw something I was good at, and
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: they didn't see my physical deficits. That was a true
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: gift from God, a blessing to keep me moving. What
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: are your passions? Those passions aligned perfectly with the dreams
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: that were placed on your heart, and they were no mistake,
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: place thereby God himself because you were created to fulfill them.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: They align with your purpose. Psalms one point thirty nine
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: fourteen says, I praise you because I am fearfully and
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: wonderfully made. You are not a mistake. Your passions, your
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: dreams are not a mistake. Know it, believe it that
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: they align perfectly with your purpose. Singing brought me the
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: joy that opened the doors to serve others through occupational
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: therapy and now my coaching. As you begin to move
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: those passions, those dreams, they help you to be able
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: to move forward. That's how you gain clear By moving forward,
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: you also gain confidence and courage to help you to
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: be able to see those doors in front of you,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: that He's placed there for a reason so that you
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: can walk through them. And one step you make it,
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: one step closer to step in falling into your miracle
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: power that He is placed within you. So what passion
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: is it that you are ready to rediscover today? Write
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: it down, commit to doing it. Take action, Be intentional.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: What once brought you joy that you want to invite
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: back into your life. Make time for it. That's how
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: you can protect yourself. That's how God is going to
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: protect you. Keep your whole, keep your heart full. Now,
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: my final R is reconnect. Resilience grows through connection, connection
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: with God, connection with your true self by knowing your heart,
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: knowing those dreams were no mistake, They're there for a
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: reason and connecting with others who lift you up. Back
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: in twenty seventeen, God I was to a place where
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: He was preparing me for a battle that I never
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: thought I would face when He brought an outsider into
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: my life that was the first person to ever see
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: my heart, to see me through God's lives. That outsider
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: helped build my confidence because God spoke to me about
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: him and let me know that he brought us together
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: for a reason. I didn't understand it at the time,
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: but it wasn't time for me to understand it yet
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: because He was going to use him later. But in
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: twenty seventeen, that friend believed in me and he wouldn't
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: let me forget it. That's what grew my confidence having
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: someone else who believed in me. A few years later
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: after me and that friend, just life happened and we separated.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: We grew apart for whatever reason. It was the world
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: world that caused us to grow apart. But I found
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: myself in a marriage where I wasn't seen, I wasn't valued,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: and I wasn't being lifted up to what God was
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: calling me to do. But my confidence had already been
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: built for what God was calling me to do, and
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: I believed in those promises. The words that came out
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: of my husband's mouth I knew were lives because they
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: brought nothing but chaos and confusion. God doesn't bring chaos
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: and confusion. That's the world. When you learn to align
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: and focus on him, He's going to bring healing, he's
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: going to bring comfort. He's going to bring peace in
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: the moments that you needed. Did I always hear his
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: voice throughout high school now, but the times I did,
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: that power that he placed, that love as he filled
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: me with was so powerful that I never forgot how
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: it felt, and not those words that promised stayed with
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: me over two decades. When I found myself in that marriage,
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: my husband would tell me as God was aligning me
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: with people to get me on stages and help me
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: to be able to grow my speaking business, to be
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: able to continue glorifying Him and to spread his message
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: with the world, just as He has called me to do.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: My ex husband would tell me no one would ever
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: pay me to share my story. The only financial security
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: I would ever have would be through my degree. The
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: only problem with that was that sure occupational therapy helped
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: me to discover my purpose But over time, when He
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: got me on a stage and let me see the
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: impact I could have speaking to a room full of people,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: my dreams were shifting. My dream wasn't in occupational therapy anymore.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: It was getting on bigger stages, glorifying Him, sharing my story,
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: delivering his message to this world who needs it so badly.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: But God was aligning me with people who saw my
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: value and lifted me up. As I was being broken
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: down and shattered at home. Those people kept me moving,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: and I was equipped and able to keep moving until
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: God finally revealed to me that it was time to leave.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: John fifteen five says, apart from me, you can do nothing.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: I'm still here today because I learned how to partner
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: with him. Jeremiah twenty nine eleven. This is my favorite verse,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: and this is the big one that I'm living breathing
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: proof of, for I know the plans I have for you,
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not harm
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: your plans to give you hope in the future. Jesus
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: is the way, the truth, and the life. I'm living
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: breathing proof of this. On Easter twenty twenty three. Not
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: timing is no coincidence.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: That is God's timing.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: God revealed to me that if I stayed with my
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: husband that I I wasn't going to be able to
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: fulfill my purpose his will. I knew I had to leave,
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: and he let me know where I needed to go.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: I didn't know how, so I went to him in prayer.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: After I first asked him for a sign, which he
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: delivered to me. I found my peace and freedom on
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: Easter morning early twenty twenty three. You see, God is
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: calling each and every one of us to rise just
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: as Jesus did. Miracle power is also known as resurrection power.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: We are being called to rise up into who we
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: were created to be so that we can help make
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: this world a better place. God has been using me
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: just as he used Jesus. He's been bringing heaven to
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: earth through my strategies, through how I've been able to
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: equip people. Over the last year, I've worked with one
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: of my clients who recently wrote gave me a testimonial
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: or review, and she says that she's found healing and
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: purpose that she once thought was unattainable by working with me,
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: by by implementing my framework, by implementing my strategies. I've
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: seen her confidence grow. She's now got clarity and she's
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: now aware of when she's being broken, the things that
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: are out of her control and sasier for her to
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: let go. She's not quite there yet, but she has
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: made leaps and bounds over where she was. So I
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: want to ask you who or what do you need
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: to reconnect with today to help you see your worth?
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Because you are worthy. God isn't going to leave you
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: as long as you keep turning to him. Sure, I've
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: made mistakes. I thought that finding someone to love me
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: was gonna fill me. But what I learned is that
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: the only thing that fills me up, that truly, that
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: truly helps me to keep moving forward and to find
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: that strength. As God above, He's what can fill all
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: of us. He's the one who gets us to fulfillment,
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: fuels the fire inside our heart. That's how we were designed.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: So to recap my broad map to resilience, we have
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: to choose to rise to get back up. It's a choice.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Remember even when making those wrong choices, as long as
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: you keep turning to Him, focused on him and what
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: he's doing in your life, It's going to be about
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: learning helping you to grow into the person you were
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: created to be. Refrain, learn how to shift how you
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: see your current circumstances. Reflect being able look back and
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: find strengths. Know that whatever challenge you're facing right now,
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: as you continue to move and walk through it, growing
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: to who you were created to be, you're gonna one
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: day look back and you're gonna laugh because you're like,
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: I see so clearly why I face that challenge now,
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: and it was worth it because the challenges make the
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: victory so much sweeter once you finally break through, rediscover,
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: reignite what sets your soul on fire, because there was
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: no mistake, it's what sets your soul on fire. Those passions,
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: of those dreams were placed on your heart for a
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: reason because they align with your purpose. And then reconnect,
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: reconnect with your source, your people, and your power. When
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: you live this framework, it's not easy in the beginning,
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: but as you begin using it, it's gonna become a
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: habit until it one day it becomes automatic and you
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: don't just bounce back that you begin to rise and
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: higher until one day you're finally flying. My mission is hope,
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: but it's more than hope. What I offer our strategies
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: that allow for healing that opens pathways to empowerment. I have.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: The link on the screen is to a survey and
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: if you could help me out, it would really help
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: me if you would fill out that survey and you
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: will receive a free gift my thirty second secret to
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: unlocking your personal peace and reclaiming your power. So please
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: fill it out. It would help me out so much so.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Final words of encouragement. You've heard the saying, where there's
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: a will, there's a way, But it's not our will,
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: it's about his will. We all have gifts. They were
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: no mistake. My gifts is being able to see the
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: value in others when they don't see it in themselves.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: You're not a mistake, You're not a failure. And if
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: you're facing challenges, I want you to know that what
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: I've learned is the bigger the challenge. That means the
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: bigger the power within me. Did that breakthrough? You're on
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: the verge of a breakthrough, and as long as you
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: keep moving, once you finally break through, you are going
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: to be rewarded bigger than you ever could have asked
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: or imagined, just as I have. So I want to
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: invite you one more time to close your eyes and
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: envision your life moving forward after hearing this message, I'm
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: asking you to believe with all your heart. I've learned
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: that this world has nothing for me. So it's by
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: choosing to follow him that's when I received the ultimate reward.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: What does that ultimate reward look like to you right now?
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: I promise you that once you get to that level,
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: there's going to be another dream. There's going to be
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: a bigger dream that you're going to want to march towards.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: That you are equipped because that bigger dream, that bigger
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: vision was placed there by our creator, and you have
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: the power to make it happen. Keep moving forward, rediscovering,
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: always looking inward at your heart, being true to yourself
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: because and while keeping your eye focused on God, trusting
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: in the dreams that he has placed on your heart.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: He's placed us on your heart for a reason. And
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: when that's how you learn how to live a righteous
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: life and you are able to receive that ultimate reward.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: Trust in his greater good. My challenges rebuilt me into
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: the unstoppable woman that you see before you today. I
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: didn't do it alone. I did it by partnering with God.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: He was the way that I was able to turn
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: my impossible in that I am possible, and he wants
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: to do it for you too. That's why you're hearing
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: this message today. My free gift to you is the
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: same gift that I received in twenty seventeen. When you
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: are filled with words in your head of disbelief saying
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: that you can't do it, I want you to shut
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: down and I want you to hear my wife saying
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: that you can't. I believe in you. You are equipped
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: to make your dreams come true. Don't ever stop. If
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: you're ready to tap into your inner spirit of resilience
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: to get one step closer to unlocking your miracle power,
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: then I want to invite you to join my miracle
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: my mid set sprint. It's four weeks to renew, rise
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: and rebuild using this proven framework designed to reignite your piece,
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: your power, and your purpose. You can find it under
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: the resources tab of Elizabeth inspires dot com. One last thing,
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: you can't ever stop rising, because one day you're gonna
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: soar and I'm going to be right here celebrating with you.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Oh listen, I told you, guys, this woman her story
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: of resilience is one that only she could share with you.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: I've heard the story before, and that is it's still
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: mind blowing, you know, because we've all been through some things.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: We've all had some moments of uncertainty, even myself. I
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: had a stroke in two thousand and nine. I lost
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: the use of my left side. In twenty thirteen, I
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: had a major flare with my condition called key mal information,
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: where I lost the use of my left side again
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: and I lost my ability to speak. But God had
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: more plans for me, as you can see. If I
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: can't get up and walk for you, because you know,
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: I can't do that right now, but I'm able to
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: use my left side. I can move, I can walk,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I can talk, I can sing, I can do.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: All of those things that man said that I could
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: not do. Are just to simply get used to that.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: But the God that we serve is a God that says,
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: don't listen to man, listen to me, because I got
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: you covered, you know. So when you follow what God's
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: instructions are, you're never off target. You may be a
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: little delayed in your own personal things, but God, God
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: is never off his own time for what it is
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: that he has for you. So when you're mindful of that,
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: the story of resilience that this young lady shared with
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: us is a story that you too can have. So
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: be mindful of what God is telling you to do.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Don't be so stubborn and hardheaded that you don't listen
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: to what He's taking you through, because we sometimes get
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: a little stubborn, a little hard headed and don't want
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: to listen to what God is saying. But if you
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: actually stay the course and pay attention to what God
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: is telling you, your story of triumph and resilience will
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: always be there. Now, we got this next young lady
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: that's coming up. She's gonna be talking to us about trauma.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: And we've all been touched by trauma at some point
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: in our lives, and we like to stay.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: You know, just we want to keep that a secret.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: We don't want to heal from that brokenness that we've experienced,
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: that trauma that we've been through, whether it's a relationship trauma,
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: whether it's parents trauma, because our parents are our first
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: experiences in life, you know, and sometimes it's not always
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: a pleasant experience, and we carry their trauma sometimes and
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: we don't know how to release that, but trauma is
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: something that we've all been touched by, and going through
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: trauma isn't easy. Releasing it isn't easy because you get
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: stuck in flag or flight mode. I am one of
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: those people who will say I have been living in
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: survival mode for a long time, but in certain areas
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I've learned that speaking on the trauma that I've experienced
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: has released me from being in those spaces. Now, Miss Violet, listen,
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: this lady is a coach, and she is a business coach,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: and not only does she help you in your business,
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: she helps you in your purpose to build everything that
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: is within you come out of you, to build everything
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: that is supposed to be yours because her God, I
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: got this conversation that they've been having about what it
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: is that she needs to bring out of you to
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: bring forward. But Miss Valid, I'm gonna get out the way,
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: and I'm gonna let them go and talk to you
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: and let them talk you, talk to them about what
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: trauma is. So I'm gonna get out your way, but
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: let the people know a little bit more about you
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: than what I could.
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: Well. Missus Trevita, I want to thank you so much
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: for that amazing introduction. I thank you also, Queen Angela
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: for co hosting this Matters of the Heart. I'm so
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: excited to be here and share a little bit to
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: impart to all of you. Some hope also, and I'm
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: also glad to see Elizabeth. I saw her in Wacos speaking,
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: so speaking after her, it's gonna be, you know, like
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: why do I have to go after her? But Holy
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: Spirits got me. Holy Spirit knows what he's doing, and
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: just wanted to share a little bit of my story.
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: It was about ten years ago that my husband came home.
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: He was a soldier back then, and he used to
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: work long hours and I would be waiting for him
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: at the dinner table, like, you know, food's getting cold.
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: But this night, Holy Spirit told him get home on time.
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: So he went home and he found me on our
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: living room floor.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: I was cold.
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: He said he felt my body and I was cold.
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: I was gray and I was unconscious. What had happened
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: is that that day I said, God, this is the
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: last straw. All these things you say in the Bible,
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: I don't know if they're true. I think you're mad
- 1:23:34Speaker 7: at me. I want to escape all this evil. Let
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: me just skip to the good part. So I had
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: taken a toxic cocktail hoping to wake up in my
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: heavenly home and just end all the pain. The pain
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: had gotten so much that I just couldn't handle it anymore.
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: But thankfully my husband listened to Holy Spirit, rushed me
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: to the er, and they brought me back to life.
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: So now what, God, you know, all the issues are
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: still there, and still you know, having all these health
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: issues and issues with not being able to bring any
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: income to the family. I felt like I was a
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: burden to my family. I felt like, you know what
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: am I doing here? I'm worthless. Nobody is getting any
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: good out of me being here on this earth. But
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: God let me on this journey. And God is such
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: a gracious god, isn't he? Because He spoke to me
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: at a moment when I was about to go into
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: another pity party, and he said, Violet, I love you unconditionally.
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: It doesn't matter if you get it right, it doesn't
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: matter if you get it wrong. I'm going to be
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: right with you. And I couldn't love you anymore than
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: I do now. And that's one of the verses that
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: I clink to. It's Romans eight twenty eight that God
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: works everything for good for those that love him, and
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: our call it according to his purpose. And I've seen
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: that throughout my life now and just knowing that he's there,
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: knowing that he's that safety in it that if I
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: get it all wrong, hey, He's going.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: To fix it.
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: And I love that Elizabeth was saying, you know that
- 1:25:19Speaker 7: it's taking that action so we can feel safe to
- 1:25:24Speaker 7: know that if we take that action, that He's going
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: to be there on the other side and he's going
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: to guy to say He's going to make everything right.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: So one of the reasons that I went through that
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: deep depression, that deep dark pit of depression, is that
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: I was molested when I was about eight years old.
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: I'm sorry, it was maybe around five or six. I
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: got saved at eight years old, but it was a
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: family member that molested me. And then when I was
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: a teenager, I was raped. So and Ms. Trevida, I'm
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: so glad that you shared that there's some of these
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: topics we really need to speak about them. And a
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: verse came to me last night when I was thinking
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: about God, you know, what do you want me to share?
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: Because I love going like you were saying on the
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: Messenger group, we follow the Holy Spirit. I'm like, yeah,
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: this is my group here, just going through following the
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: flow of the spirit. And you know, in the Bible,
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: I believe its revelations that it says that we're healed
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: by testimony and the blood of the Lamb. And I said,
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: you know, I was going to say a disclaimer. If
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: you have kids, if you have somebody that's sensitive to
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: this topic, you know, you might want to be careful
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: with that because I do cover suicide, suicide prevention. I
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: actually had a suicide prevention summit for Christians because there's
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: so many pastors and pastors kids that we have lost
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: to the silent enemy of the church. It's like the
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: to me is sneaking in. And because we don't talk
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: about these things, if we don't bring them to the light,
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: you know, they're gonna fester. And people have to know
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: that the church is there. I remember growing up because
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: I grew up in the church, my dad was an elder.
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: They would say, you know, we need the church to
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: be a hospital, you know, where people come for healing,
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: for come for empowerment, not come to be judged. You know,
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: oh you're not dressed right or you're not wearing the
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: right thing. But I had to learn all that because
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: I grew up in religion and with the way that
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: I was brought up. It was like, oh my gosh,
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: the music is evil, Oh my gosh, dancing is evil.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: Evil everywhere, And it's.
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: Like, where's God who is greater?
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: The one that is in us or the one that
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: is trying to rule the world. And I follow this
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: lady Nancy to frame and the way she explains it
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: because Jesus said, in the world, you will have trouble,
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: but don't worry about it, because I'll overcome the world.
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: Is the enemy is at the gate. So that's one
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: of the things that I wanted to bring up. Where
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: is your attention? Is your attention on that enemy at
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: the gate? Or is your attention on.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: The Dunam his power?
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: Like Elizabeth was talking about that it's already in us.
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: And you know, when I was growing up, I used
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: to memorize all these verses and things, and it wasn't
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: until you know, it was about ten years ago. Like
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: I said, So God has been leading me on a
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: journey of rediscovering all these things that he has already
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: said in the Bible. All these things that he was
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: trying to tell me. But for some reason, I guess
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: because I was trying to protect myself.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: Because these.
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: I guess you could say they're bad things, negative things
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: that happened to me that actually I allowed to hurt me.
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: I allowed to be labeling myself as a victim. I
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: allowed the perpetrators to be labeled as something that could
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: hurt me. But now I know that nothing can hurt me. Hey,
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: even if you come and kill my flesh, you know,
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: my soul is more powerful than that. My God is
- 1:29:26Speaker 7: more powerful than that. I had my eye on the
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: wrong thing. Just like Peter when he was on the waters,
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: he was able to walk on the water when when
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: he was focused on the Lord, when he was focused
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: on Jesus. But once he took his eyes off of Jesus,
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: that was it. You know, when you focus on yourself,
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: you could get depressed. When you focus on outwardly, outwardly,
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: you can feel stressed. But when you focus on the
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: Lord Jesus, that's when you're at rest. That's when you
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: feel the peace of God. And I love one of
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: the verses that says that in his presence is fullness
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: of joy, and I had friends that told me, well,
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: God wants you holy, not happy. So if you see
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: on my title, I call myself a happiness advocate because
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: joy was one of the things that broke me free
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: from trauma, broke me free from depression, broke me free
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: from all these things that were holding me down. And
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: it was actually myself. I was giving the enemy the
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: weapons to hurt me. I was giving him the power.
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: But in the Bible, what does it say. It says
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: that God himself has given us authority over all the
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: power of the enemy. And last time I checked all
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: men all. So that means how much power does the
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: enemy have? Only the power that we give him when
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: we give them that attention. And that's one of the
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: things that my husband and I am, you know, and
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: even one of our mentors we were at a conference
- 1:31:09Speaker 7: and he said, well, how many of you are always
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: being attacked by the enemy. And there's a saying out
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: there that, oh, if you're doing great things, that means
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: you're going to be attacked by the enemy. Well wait
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: a second, how what is your view of the enemy then, and.
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: What is your view of God?
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: Who is more powerful here, who has all the power? Again,
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: God has given us.
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: Power and authority over.
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: All the power of the enemy. And nothing, nothing shall
- 1:31:42Speaker 7: buy any means harm me. And that's what I had
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: to that's what I had to relearn. And I said,
- 1:31:51Speaker 7: oh my gosh, you know, well, oh my God, oh
- 1:31:54Speaker 7: my Jesus. Reading this Bible again with new lenses, I
- 1:31:59Speaker 7: see who you are to me.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: You are for me.
- 1:32:02Speaker 7: You're not against me, you said, you know. In the
- 1:32:05Speaker 7: Old Testament it says that God would visit your sins
- 1:32:09Speaker 7: to your sons and your next generations. But now he says,
- 1:32:14Speaker 7: there's no condemnation for you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- 1:32:19Speaker 7: So who are we going to trust? Are we going
- 1:32:21Speaker 7: to trust our feelings? Because nowadays feelings is like people
- 1:32:29Speaker 7: give too much, too much credit to their feelings. And again,
- 1:32:35Speaker 7: what you give your attention to, that's what you empower.
- 1:32:38Speaker 7: Will you give your attention to? Bill Johnson says, is
- 1:32:42Speaker 7: who you worship what you worship. So just knowing you
- 1:32:47Speaker 7: know that I am the daughter of the king. And
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: another verse says that what he means for us is life.
- 1:32:55Speaker 7: One of those purposes that he has for us is
- 1:32:58Speaker 7: to rule and REI it has not changed from the
- 1:33:02Speaker 7: beginning when Adam and you was told, you know, to
- 1:33:05Speaker 7: take dominion and that's how we should live our lives
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: and remember that we are sons and daughters of the
- 1:33:14Speaker 7: King and walk that way. And again going back to joy.
- 1:33:20Speaker 7: This was one of the things that really broke me
- 1:33:22Speaker 7: free from depression, from pity, parties, from you know, the
- 1:33:29Speaker 7: life that I was living in, because I felt I
- 1:33:31Speaker 7: was living in darkness, in a fog, and I was
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: holy spirit filled. I was you know, I knew how
- 1:33:37Speaker 7: to speak in tongues. We weren't evangelizing, but in my
- 1:33:40Speaker 7: life I didn't see breakthrough because I didn't focus on
- 1:33:45Speaker 7: the power of God.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: I focus on woe is me?
- 1:33:48Speaker 7: Why is everything going wrong with me? And there's this
- 1:33:51Speaker 7: fancy word out there called reticular activating system, which is
- 1:33:57Speaker 7: a simple word for what you focus grows. And God
- 1:34:03Speaker 7: has blessed us. My husband and I we moved from
- 1:34:07Speaker 7: San Antonio back to my hometown and we're in a
- 1:34:10Speaker 7: new construction home and the general contractor he said, hey,
- 1:34:16Speaker 7: you know, if there's anything wrong, there's a warranty, just
- 1:34:20Speaker 7: let us know and we'll try our best to fix it.
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: And the more things that I notice, he gave us
- 1:34:27Speaker 7: a little blue tape I don't know if anyone out
- 1:34:29Speaker 7: there has done a new construction home too, But there's
- 1:34:33Speaker 7: a blue tape day. They give you this blue tape
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: and you're like, Okay, there's something that needs fixing there. Oh,
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: that thing's a little big crooked. Well, this door's not
- 1:34:41Speaker 7: closing right. And the more things that I've been noticing,
- 1:34:46Speaker 7: the more things that come up. But I believe that's
- 1:34:52Speaker 7: one reason that the Israelites in the past they used
- 1:34:56Speaker 7: to build these altars. They would get stones and build
- 1:35:00Speaker 7: an altar, and they would say, this is in remembrance
- 1:35:03Speaker 7: of what God did for us here. And if we
- 1:35:06Speaker 7: do that, if we focus on how God has showed
- 1:35:10Speaker 7: up for us, no matter what, how God has turned
- 1:35:13Speaker 7: things around. Who we are in Christ, the power that
- 1:35:17Speaker 7: He has already put in us, that the enemy is
- 1:35:21Speaker 7: under our feet, that's when we would live in victory.
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: We are already victorious. In fact, there's another verse that says,
- 1:35:30Speaker 7: and this is like kind of was kind of radical
- 1:35:32Speaker 7: for me, Like what, so, let me know how you
- 1:35:36Speaker 7: feel about this in the chat.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: But this is the word of God.
- 1:35:39Speaker 7: It says, as Jesus is, so are we not like
- 1:35:45Speaker 7: how they.
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: Said in the church, like, oh, when you go to heaven.
- 1:35:49Speaker 7: You know, that's when no more crying or dying, no
- 1:35:52Speaker 7: more health issues, no more financial issues. No, it says,
- 1:35:57Speaker 7: as Jesus is, so are we in this world today,
- 1:36:01Speaker 7: in the present day, so we can have joy. In fact,
- 1:36:06Speaker 7: God says, rejoice, Rejoice again. I say, rejoice, so you
- 1:36:13Speaker 7: don't have to wait until everything is ideal to enjoy
- 1:36:17Speaker 7: your life. And that's one of the big things that
- 1:36:20Speaker 7: broke me free from all that trauma, from all those
- 1:36:24Speaker 7: experiences that I had allowed to hurt me, to now
- 1:36:29Speaker 7: live in victoriously and enjoy a brand new, beautiful life
- 1:36:34Speaker 7: that I love. In fact, God has healed me emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically,
- 1:36:43Speaker 7: and I just give God the glory because I don't
- 1:36:46Speaker 7: even have to take prescription anti depressants anymore. The doctor said,
- 1:36:51Speaker 7: you're gonna have to be on pain pills for the
- 1:36:53Speaker 7: rest of your life. You're gonna have to be I
- 1:36:55Speaker 7: had twenty bottles of pills that I would take every day,
- 1:36:58Speaker 7: and actually a little pill bag that I would carry
- 1:37:01Speaker 7: it on with me just in case. But thank God, Yes,
- 1:37:05Speaker 7: Milados rejoice always. And there's also a verse in the
- 1:37:10Speaker 7: Bible that I believe in. It's in James that in
- 1:37:15Speaker 7: all circumstances rejoice, And it's not because of the problems
- 1:37:20Speaker 7: and negative circumstances. There's another thing that people say out
- 1:37:26Speaker 7: there that, oh, whatever happened to you is a blessing.
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: Oh really, well, my cousin's only daughter was hacked up, kidnapped,
- 1:37:37Speaker 7: probably raped, who knows what, cut into little pieces, and
- 1:37:42Speaker 7: that's a blessing. No, it's not. But God can turn
- 1:37:48Speaker 7: it around again Romans eight twenty eight. And why can
- 1:37:53Speaker 7: we rejoice in that? We can rejoice because God is
- 1:37:56Speaker 7: always there with us, He is inside us, and we
- 1:38:01Speaker 7: have I have this shirt that says, you know, Jesus'
- 1:38:06Speaker 7: is ingredients the fruit of the spirit, right, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness,
- 1:38:15Speaker 7: self control.
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: That's us too.
- 1:38:18Speaker 7: That is who we are. As Jesus is, so are
- 1:38:21Speaker 7: we in this world. And going back to the joy
- 1:38:28Speaker 7: that broke me free from whatever things were going on
- 1:38:32Speaker 7: in my mind that I was allowing to rule in
- 1:38:34Speaker 7: my mind. One of the things that I started doing
- 1:38:39Speaker 7: was doing things that bring me joy. I put a
- 1:38:43Speaker 7: joy alarm in my on my phone here and around
- 1:38:48Speaker 7: three o'clock when I'm feeling a little down a little like,
- 1:38:52Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, am I going to get through this day?
- 1:38:55Speaker 7: It's a Minion song. It's like a little funny song
- 1:38:58Speaker 7: that just reminds me, Hey, Violet, what have you done
- 1:39:01Speaker 7: today that brings you joy? And I know Elizabeth mentioned gratitude.
- 1:39:07Speaker 7: Gratitude is a huge thing that can change your focus
- 1:39:12Speaker 7: from circumstances, from the things that are temporary to the
- 1:39:17Speaker 7: things that are eternal, to how God really sees the situation.
- 1:39:24Speaker 7: And I love something else that Elizabeth said, when you're
- 1:39:28Speaker 7: in a situation that's challenging, that you're like, oh, am
- 1:39:31Speaker 7: I going to get out of this? What in the
- 1:39:33Speaker 7: world am I.
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: Going to do?
- 1:39:34Speaker 7: It's important to say, God, how are you showing up
- 1:39:38Speaker 7: for me right now? What is it that you're doing
- 1:39:42Speaker 7: right now? In this they call it I believe a
- 1:39:47Speaker 7: limited like between the prayer, the waiting, between the prayer
- 1:39:53Speaker 7: and the promise. That is an important place to be
- 1:39:57Speaker 7: with God because that closeness that to missy, that love,
- 1:40:02Speaker 7: that presence, that joy that passes all understanding, it is
- 1:40:08Speaker 7: there for us always. And this is one thing that
- 1:40:11Speaker 7: I didn't even realize through that whole time, But now
- 1:40:15Speaker 7: that I know that God's love is always with me,
- 1:40:20Speaker 7: that God is not against me, that I can have joy,
- 1:40:26Speaker 7: that I can rejoice, that I can worship through all
- 1:40:29Speaker 7: these things. There's also a saying that worship is a weapon,
- 1:40:35Speaker 7: even though the battle is a lord's You know, as
- 1:40:38Speaker 7: we worship, our attention gets back on the Lord. Our
- 1:40:41Speaker 7: attention gets back on God, on the power of his love,
- 1:40:46Speaker 7: on the power of just of who he is, because
- 1:40:51Speaker 7: he's creator, He's our creator. And in the Bible it
- 1:40:57Speaker 7: says that we were made a little lower than him.
- 1:41:03Speaker 7: I know some translations say we were made a little
- 1:41:05Speaker 7: lower than the angels, but actually, if you go back
- 1:41:08Speaker 7: and you look at the original text, it says that
- 1:41:11Speaker 7: God created humans a little lower than him, because who
- 1:41:15Speaker 7: did Jesus come to come to die for. He didn't
- 1:41:19Speaker 7: come to die for the angels. He came to die
- 1:41:22Speaker 7: for you and me and even those people that have
- 1:41:27Speaker 7: hurt us or that have attempted to hurt us. So, yeah,
- 1:41:33Speaker 7: I encourage you to remind yourself of who God is,
- 1:41:38Speaker 7: of who you are, of also implementing joy strategies, because
- 1:41:45Speaker 7: you know, desire means of the Father, those things that
- 1:41:50Speaker 7: God has put in your heart, those things that you
- 1:41:52Speaker 7: enjoy to do. God loves seeing you joyful. God loves
- 1:41:58Speaker 7: seeing you enjoying these things that He has created for you.
- 1:42:02Speaker 7: And this other verse I love. And you know, I've
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: read through the Bible, I don't know how many times,
- 1:42:10Speaker 7: and I say, well, why did I see these things?
- 1:42:14Speaker 7: But I just thank God for the revelation that God
- 1:42:18Speaker 7: gives us. The more and more that we get into
- 1:42:20Speaker 7: His word, the more that we open ourselves up to
- 1:42:23Speaker 7: Holy Spirit, instead of thinking we're in control and we
- 1:42:26Speaker 7: got this and we know how to do these things.
- 1:42:29Speaker 7: But it says that David said, I will see the
- 1:42:33Speaker 7: goodness of the Lord. Where in the land of the
- 1:42:39Speaker 7: Living we can see the goodness of the Lord every day,
- 1:42:45Speaker 7: all his god wings, all his blessings. You know, there's
- 1:42:49Speaker 7: a Brandon Lake song that my husband loves that just
- 1:42:52Speaker 7: reminds us of that reminds us of you know. Another
- 1:42:57Speaker 7: verse that's coming to me is that God rejoices over
- 1:43:02Speaker 7: us with singing.
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: That is how he muses, how can.
- 1:43:07Speaker 7: We not live in joy? How can we not let
- 1:43:10Speaker 7: go of those things of the past, and all those
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: things of the past. Guess what, you know, God is just,
- 1:43:19Speaker 7: and there's a justice, a feeling of justice inside of us,
- 1:43:23Speaker 7: So we feel like someone has to pay for that.
- 1:43:26Speaker 7: You know, that family member that molested that little girl
- 1:43:30Speaker 7: and Violet was six or seven years old, he has
- 1:43:33Speaker 7: to pay for that. Yeah, there's a time for that.
- 1:43:37Speaker 7: I've forgiven him through Jesus' help. But guess what Jesus
- 1:43:43Speaker 7: died for him to. Jesus died for the people that
- 1:43:49Speaker 7: the man that rape me. Jesus died for the whoever
- 1:43:55Speaker 7: hurt my cousin's only daughter. So that prize has already
- 1:44:00Speaker 7: and paid. Are we going to let that go and
- 1:44:05Speaker 7: enjoy our lives? Can we let that go and allow
- 1:44:11Speaker 7: God just to flow in and through us and do
- 1:44:14Speaker 7: whatever we are purposed to do here on this earth
- 1:44:16Speaker 7: because we are God's representatives. We are Heaven touching earth,
- 1:44:23Speaker 7: the physical embodiment of the Creator, omnipotent God coming inside
- 1:44:30Speaker 7: of us. So let's not allow trauma to dim our light.
- 1:44:38Speaker 7: But let's continue to shine our light as we remember
- 1:44:41Speaker 7: who we are in Christ and that we are supposed
- 1:44:44Speaker 7: to shine Christ through us.
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: Miss Violet.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: I want to thank you for that, because living with
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: trauma is one of the hardest things things that we
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: can do, and oftentimes the trauma that we go through
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: is often hidden because we don't want to talk about it.
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: We don't want to share that vulnerableness with other people.
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: So being able to speak about the things that you've
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: gone through and that you've witnessed not only for yourself
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: but your family as well, that's not an easy topic
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: to even talk about. So I thank you for your
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: vulnerability in that, And for those who are listening today,
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: I want you to understand that it is okay for
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: you to now let go of those traumatic experiences that
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: you've made it through because you're still walking on this earth.
- 1:45:42Speaker 2: You're still here, so you still have time to let
- 1:45:46Speaker 2: go of what's hindering you from walking in the full
- 1:45:49Speaker 2: potential of what God has for you. So trauma no more.
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: That is today is the beginning step for you to
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: release that trauma. Now, just to recap you, guys, we
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: talked about healing, we talked about empowerment, we talked about
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: aligned resilience, and trauma. Those are a lot of topics
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: that touch every aspect of the heart. And having a
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: heart is what keeps us living and breathing and going
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: through the process. But what's the head of it all
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: is God. Himself and being with God, walking with God,
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: trusting him and knowing that his timing is always perfect.
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: He's never late, he's never delayed, he is always on time.
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: There is nothing that God has ever done that was
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: ever late, that was ever off time, ever off target.
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: It has always been us who have been late, who
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: has always been a little bit delayed in being obedient
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: to his instructions.
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: It has been us.
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: It has never been in And so when we truly
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: understand who God is, and he don't need our help
- 1:47:03Speaker 2: in being God, because he knows exactly what his purpose was,
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: what his purpose is, And so when we stop being
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: hard headed and follow his instructions, we are always aligned
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: with the destiny that He has for us, even when
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: it does not make sense to us, even when our
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: puzzle pieces have no clue, we thinking that it's supposed
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: to be the top corner piece when it's actually the
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: middle piece. God knows how our puzzle fits together. It
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: is us to us to step out of his way,
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: stop trying to be in control when it is not
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: our time to be in the spotlight. He knows when
- 1:47:38Speaker 2: our time to shine is, when we're supposed to walk
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: in our purpose, and everything that happened for us to
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: be in this space and in this moment today was
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: by God's design, by his purpose. This is confirmation. So
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: if you didn't know where you were supposed to be today,
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: God already knew. He knew this three months ago. It
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: was up to us to follow suit and be available
- 1:48:02Speaker 2: for us to be here. So nothing has ever been
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: a mistake, nothing has ever been out of place or
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: out of target, because God knows when and where we're
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: supposed to meet the people that are connected to His
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: destiny for our lives. So everybody, this is your time
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: to actually shine and say what it is that you
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: have gotten from today. And then I'll leave mine for
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: the last little part and tell you what I got
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: from today. Now, y'all, y'all don't speak in one. Somebody
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: say something now because you know I'll get to talking. Okay, listen,
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: y'all gonna be silent. I'm gonna go ahead and keep talking. Then, Okay, listen,
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: God put us all together today for this purpose.
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: This is part two. Like I said, if you miss
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: part one, that's your fault.
- 1:48:59Speaker 2: But you can always go back and find it because
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: today we've talked about healing and listen, We've all had
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: to heal some areas of our lives, and healing is
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: one of those things that we just think about, you know,
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: when someone passes. We don't think about grief in the
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: sense of losing a job, losing a friend, losing you know,
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: a shoe, losing your favorite teddy bear or whatever those case.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: We have to grieve those things as well. Like I
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: had a favorite pin that just died on me, y'all.
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: I am tore up about it because you can't find
- 1:49:32Speaker 2: it pin nowhere else like it.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: It's tear me up.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: I got to find this pin again, and I don't
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: even remember where I bought it from. So that's tear
- 1:49:42Speaker 2: me up a little bit right now. But I'm finding pin.
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna find it again. So that's one of those
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: things that we have to talk about. We grieve certain things,
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: and we never want to talk about that.
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: Half the time.
- 1:49:53Speaker 2: We just be like, oh, it's something you lost, you'll
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: get over it. The day's move on. But it's just
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: like when a little kid, like your little son, your
- 1:50:04Speaker 2: grandchild or whatever, they lose their favorite thing and the
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: whole world has fallen apart because they don't have it
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: no more. And we're like, okay, we'll get you another one. No,
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: it's not the same. And don't smell the same. It
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: don't feel the same. It don't feel They don't want
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: something new in replacing of what they lost, They want
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: the exact same thing. Don't want the smell, they want
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: the taste. They want all of that to be the same.
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: So understanding that they have to go through that process
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: of healing when they've lost something that's important and we
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: have to acknowledge that. Now empowerment, that is the part
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: where make sure that you have people around you who
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: pour into you and not just deplete you. Because you
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: want to be in spaces, in places where people fill
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: you up, and what you have in your cup, they
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: receive the overflow. They don't just get to take and
- 1:50:56Speaker 2: deplete what you have in your cup. You give them
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: the overfl So it is important to surround yourself with
- 1:51:03Speaker 2: people who are going to pour into you just as
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: much as you pour into them. And if they start
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: to deplete your cup, baby, it's time to let them
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: go and let them do something else somewhere else with
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: some other people, because them are no longer your people.
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: If they start to take more away from you than
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: what they give, and it's okay to let them.
- 1:51:21Speaker 3: People go.
- 1:51:22Speaker 2: Ain't no harm, no foul. They serve the purpose that
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: they were intended to surface serve during the time.
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: That they were with you.
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: But never let anybody deplete you to where you can't
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: recover from that. So know your circle, know your people.
- 1:51:36Speaker 2: Remove those who are just sucking your dry like a
- 1:51:38Speaker 2: little sponge. And then when you ain't got nothing left
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: to give, they still over there with what else you
- 1:51:43Speaker 2: got for me?
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: I ain't got nothing, fuey. I'm gonna move on.
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: You're gonna be over here by yourself because I ain't
- 1:51:47Speaker 2: got nothing else. Fu You also stay in alignment with
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: what God is telling.
- 1:51:51Speaker 3: You to do.
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: Don't be so hard headed. You know, I tell you
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: all the time. I'm a little hard headed. I'm a
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: little stoven. God knows who He created me to be
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: out of his way more so now than I used to.
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: But be in alignment and make sure that everything that
- 1:52:08Speaker 2: you are going through is according to His will for you,
- 1:52:12Speaker 2: and you will always be in alignment with what He's
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: called you to do. If you are in a group
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: or in a space where they're not talking about what
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: it is that is aligned with what you're doing, where
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: you're going, where you're headed, then it's okay to is
- 1:52:28Speaker 2: it stage left. It's all right to leave the room.
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: You can put your little church finger up and exit
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: on out the dough. It's all right for you to
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: do that. It's okay, no harm, no file. And some
- 1:52:38Speaker 2: people might question you, girl, why you left because it
- 1:52:41Speaker 2: wasn't for me, it wasn't my space. I'm gonna be
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: where I'm needed and I'm gonna be where I want
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: it to be. If it feels uncomfortable to me, I
- 1:52:49Speaker 2: have the right to say I don't want to be here.
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: The same for me.
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: So therefore, stay in alignment, stay in the space where
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: God is calling you to be, and it's okay with
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: church fringer up and exit stage left. All right, nobody's
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: gonna be mad at and resilience. Know that everything that
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: you've been faced with has a story, has a connection for.
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: You to overcome.
- 1:53:12Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that you have to stay in that
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: space because you don't know what's going on. It's connected
- 1:53:19Speaker 2: to your growth, it's connected to your purpose, it's connected
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: to you to overcome. Just because it doesn't look good,
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: doesn't look pretty that's that outfit that you used to
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: wear in high school.
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: That don't fit no more. Baby it say it's okay.
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: Let that go.
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: Understand that God has something bigger and better that actually
- 1:53:36Speaker 2: fits you the way that it's supposed to fit you.
- 1:53:38Speaker 2: It's okay to outgrow spaces and overcome challenges that you
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: are faced with. It may not even look like you're
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: gonna come out on the other side. But if you
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: just keep walking and just keep going, God is gonna
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: bring you out on the other side. Sometimes we get
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: so close to our breakthrough that we don't see the
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: other side, and we get so bogged down on what
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: it looks like and what it feels like that we
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: don't want to keep going. But if you just keep
- 1:54:06Speaker 2: walking and just keep going and being grateful for where
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: you are, God is gonna take you where you always intended.
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: For you to be.
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: So stay resilient to what you got going on, even
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: if it don't look like, even if it don't feel like,
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: it's gonna be good to you. God's got a greater
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: plan on the other side of what the current situation
- 1:54:28Speaker 2: looks like. Now I almost speak on trauma just a
- 1:54:32Speaker 2: little bit. That trauma listen. It will keep you in
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: a place of hurt and darkness if you allow it
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: to keep you there. Now, do you want to move
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: past your trauma? If you want to move past it,
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: you gotta let it go. But you gotta let it
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: go by speaking on what happened. And when you speak
- 1:54:53Speaker 2: on what happened, it gives less power to the action
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: of the trauma, but more power to the healing that
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: is necessary for you to get past that. So don't
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: be ashamed of anything that you went through that's attached
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: to your trauma. Your trauma is your testimony for what
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: God is capable of doing in your life. So we
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: ain't holding on to trauma that's keeping us in a
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: place of hurt and despair. Because my mama and my
- 1:55:23Speaker 2: daddy wasn't the greatest, But if I held on to
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: the trauma that they gave me, I would not be
- 1:55:30Speaker 2: in the space where I am right now. I love
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: them for who they are, for who they became, and
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: who they were because my mom is no longer with us,
- 1:55:39Speaker 2: But the things that she taught me were based upon
- 1:55:43Speaker 2: her own trauma. But what I realized her burdens were
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: not mine to bear. And so when I realized that
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: her burdens were not mine. I released them back to
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: her and God because those were the only two that
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: could carry her burdens and her trauma. So let go
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: of your trauma and move forward because God has a
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: greater in everything that he has brought you through. So
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: release your trauma. Know that God is gonna do it
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: all because he told you just trust.
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: Me, and I got you.
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: I'll never leave you, nor will I forsake you, because
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: everything is connected to the greater good that He has
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: for you. Now I'm gonna be quiet. I'm gonna let
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: some olden people talk. Now, y'all got to come on
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: up here and talk, okay, because I'm gonna keep going
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: if y'all don't.
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: So I'm gonna be quiet for just a moment.
- 1:56:34Speaker 7: I just love what Milaos Lotus was saying over here
- 1:56:38Speaker 7: on the patch that this group of speakers make a
- 1:56:42Speaker 7: perfect combination. For a moment, I saw a form of
- 1:56:46Speaker 7: office collaboration for homeless between them, where they help people.
- 1:56:49Speaker 7: That vision was like having five doctors in a room.
- 1:56:53Speaker 4: So praise God for.
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: What he does.
- 1:56:58Speaker 6: Think man, amen, amen, amen. I was just sitting over
- 1:57:02Speaker 6: here listening and I kept hearing. I don't know if
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: it was Elizabeth or if it was you valid, but
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: I just kept hearing y'all say that word shift. I
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: just kept hearing that word shift, and probably about three
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: weeks ago, God dropped that word in my spirit. He
- 1:57:23Speaker 6: dropped that word shifted my spirit and really broke it
- 1:57:26Speaker 6: down for me to the point to where I actually
- 1:57:30Speaker 6: did a nineteen minute audio book on that word shift.
- 1:57:36Speaker 6: Self awareness, habits, intention forgiveness, and being focused while allowing
- 1:57:45Speaker 6: him to transform.
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: You.
- 1:57:46Speaker 6: Those were the words that he dropped in my spirit
- 1:57:48Speaker 6: for that word shift, shift, us knowing self awareness and
- 1:57:52Speaker 6: us knowing who we are. You know, when we have
- 1:57:55Speaker 6: those bad habits, being able to address those bad habits
- 1:57:58Speaker 6: and being able to pick up good habits to incorporate
- 1:58:02Speaker 6: into our lives while we being intentional about those things
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: that He's called us to. We have to set purpose
- 1:58:08Speaker 6: for goals that we can't align, not just align with
- 1:58:13Speaker 6: the word, but align with energy that he allowed to
- 1:58:15Speaker 6: be around us so that we can operate in that
- 1:58:18Speaker 6: thing that he's called us to, all while being focused
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: on the purpose, the end goal, and being able to
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: transform while going through this, we didn't get dropped out
- 1:58:31Speaker 6: of the sky Jeremy twenty nine and eleven is my scripture.
- 1:58:34Speaker 6: I love that scripture, and I know that we didn't
- 1:58:36Speaker 6: get dropped out of the sky. He pacifically placed us
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: here because he had a plan for us, and and
- 1:58:43Speaker 6: and and that that word declared. See I was, I was,
- 1:58:47Speaker 6: I was reading it, and he dropped us in my
- 1:58:50Speaker 6: spirit just last week. See when we hear that word declared,
- 1:58:53Speaker 6: that's past enh that that that declared. I mean, he's
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: already done it. It's done. So all we got to
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: do now is to walk in that thing. We got
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: to align so that we can catch up because it's
- 1:59:05Speaker 6: already done. He's already mapped it out. He did it
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: before we were even thought about, before we was even
- 1:59:11Speaker 6: conceived in our mother's womb. So now it's all about
- 1:59:14Speaker 6: us aligning and catching up with that destiny because it's
- 1:59:19Speaker 6: not gonna change. His word is not gonna return to him. Boy,
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: he said he would watch over it until his performed
- 1:59:25Speaker 6: and perfected. And each and every one of our lives, y'all,
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: it's time to shift.
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: Yes, and transformation always begins on the inside. Look to
- 1:59:37Speaker 4: your heart like I shared the streams, Thus passions for
- 1:59:41Speaker 4: no mistake, learning to shift and adopt. He has equipped
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: everything on one of us with the power to be
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: able to rise above and overcome anything that ever faced.
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: And just developing the skills to be able to direct yes,
- 2:00:00Speaker 4: takes intention and shift in those habits, and then over
- 2:00:04Speaker 4: time those habits become more on the robot and that's
- 2:00:08Speaker 4: when you can fully stuff into your miracle power. Where
- 2:00:11Speaker 4: we were all meant to live live on earth as
- 2:00:15Speaker 4: it is in heaven. He's doing it right now. You
- 2:00:21Speaker 4: just have to learn how to live open th it. Yes,
- 2:00:25Speaker 4: never stop moving.
- 2:00:28Speaker 6: Wow. Well, I would like for everybody before we leave
- 2:00:34Speaker 6: to share again how we can connect with you. And
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: then if everybody.
- 2:00:39Speaker 3: Can just share their final.
- 2:00:41Speaker 6: Thoughts, just one thing that you would like for somebody
- 2:00:46Speaker 6: to be able to take away from today, just one
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: thing and how people can connect with you. And we're
- 2:00:52Speaker 6: gonna start with Danielle.
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: Yes, hi everyone again, I'm you see the quiet ones.
- 2:01:00Speaker 5: So I'm working on just speaking up a little bit more.
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: But thank you all for just being here, for listening,
- 2:01:05Speaker 5: for all those that have commented, for those that are
- 2:01:07Speaker 5: maybe watching and are just maybe not ready to speak
- 2:01:11Speaker 5: up yet or just unsure, you know, as everyone has
- 2:01:14Speaker 5: been stating that you're here for a reason. God didn't
- 2:01:17Speaker 5: just you know, like we're you could be a lot
- 2:01:20Speaker 5: of other places today, but God had you here to
- 2:01:22Speaker 5: listen because like, now's the time. If not now, when
- 2:01:25Speaker 5: I feel like God is doing so much in twenty
- 2:01:27Speaker 5: twenty five, it's just starting. But this year is going
- 2:01:30Speaker 5: by a quickness. Signs one was just Christmas and now
- 2:01:33Speaker 5: we're at summer and I'm like, okay, it's Time's not
- 2:01:35Speaker 5: waiting for anyone, but if not now, when, So just
- 2:01:40Speaker 5: for me, what I took from just everything that was
- 2:01:43Speaker 5: stated is that no matter what happened in your life
- 2:01:46Speaker 5: and your passage, you're not too broken to be healed.
- 2:01:49Speaker 5: And people will tell you that, The world will tell
- 2:01:52Speaker 5: you that, TV will tell you that. You look at
- 2:01:55Speaker 5: movies and people just get over things and like ten
- 2:01:58Speaker 5: minutes and I'm like, they just lost someone or they
- 2:02:00Speaker 5: just lost something. How do they just get over it?
- 2:02:02Speaker 5: And you know, ten to fifteen minutes or in one
- 2:02:04Speaker 5: season or two episodes. But it does take time. But
- 2:02:09Speaker 5: in the midst of it, as you see from all
- 2:02:11Speaker 5: of our stories, it's so worth it. It's worth it
- 2:02:13Speaker 5: putting in the work, it's worth it surrendering our brokenness
- 2:02:17Speaker 5: to God because he cares. It's not like, oh, we're
- 2:02:21Speaker 5: just so broken and so damaged that he can't fix us.
- 2:02:24Speaker 5: And I'm like his word talks about how you know,
- 2:02:26Speaker 5: he's the potter and we're the clay, and we talk
- 2:02:28Speaker 5: about that broken jar and how God can put us
- 2:02:30Speaker 5: back together so we're never beyond repair. So just if
- 2:02:35Speaker 5: you like to connect further with me, my name is

- 2:03:11Speaker 5: be intentional overall, and now's the time. So thank you.
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: Okay, Elizabeth, you want to go next.
- 2:03:33Speaker 6: I'm sorry I did say this, Elizabeth, but I was muted.
- 2:03:36Speaker 3: I'm sorry, no words.

- 2:05:07Speaker 4: way that you would talk to a friend, give yourself grace,
- 2:05:12Speaker 4: give yourself forgiveness. That's how healing begins. Taking that first step,
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: even if it's just a fraction of an inch, whever
- 2:05:21Speaker 4: you're comfortable with, just start moving. With time, you're gonna
- 2:05:27Speaker 4: gain that courage, You're gonna gain that confidence, and you're
- 2:05:29Speaker 4: gonna gain that clarity with each new step, and over
- 2:05:33Speaker 4: time you're gonna be able to take bigger steps. You'll
- 2:05:36Speaker 4: gain momentum, and then that's when you begin to feel unstoppable.
- 2:05:41Speaker 4: You can do this, and don't ever forget that. When
- 2:05:45Speaker 4: you have those voices in your head that are bringing
- 2:05:48Speaker 4: you down from external forces, I want you to shut
- 2:05:51Speaker 4: them down and I want you to hear my voice
- 2:05:53Speaker 4: saying I believe in you. I know you got this
- 2:05:56Speaker 4: and you can do it. Keep moving forward, don't ever stop.
- 2:06:08Speaker 6: Amen, Amen, Amen, and miss violent. If you would like
- 2:06:12Speaker 6: to share how we can connect with you and a
- 2:06:17Speaker 6: recap if you would, well.
- 2:06:20Speaker 7: First, I want to say you know I'm not a
- 2:06:22Speaker 7: mental health professional professional, so if you or somebody are
- 2:06:26Speaker 7: in crisis, please call nine eight eight that's twenty four
- 2:06:31Speaker 7: to seven hotline where people will be happy to listen
- 2:06:34Speaker 7: to you and give you resources to help you. But
- 2:06:39Speaker 7: I just want to thank everyone for listening, and I
- 2:06:42Speaker 7: pray that my story inspired hope because God is no
- 2:06:45Speaker 7: respector of persons. If he lifted me out of the
- 2:06:49Speaker 7: darkness pit of despair, he can do it for you too.
- 2:06:52Speaker 7: And He's actually made everything available for you. One thing
- 2:06:57Speaker 7: I didn't mention is that you know inside of us,
- 2:07:01Speaker 7: inside our physiology, God put happy hormones and you can
- 2:07:07Speaker 7: remember it by the acronym dose. It's dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin,
- 2:07:12Speaker 7: and doorphins. So you know, we only have two hands,
- 2:07:16Speaker 7: we only have two eyes, we have one mouth, but
- 2:07:19Speaker 7: guess what we have at least four happy hormones. So
- 2:07:22Speaker 7: God knew that having enjoyed is important. And you can

- 2:08:39Speaker 2: Now to give my recap listen, my takeaway from today
- 2:08:45Speaker 2: is do not settle for being broken because your brokenness is.
- 2:08:53Speaker 3: Not the end.
- 2:08:55Speaker 2: You are being able to be mended and put back
- 2:09:00Speaker 2: together in front of the very people. Are situations that
- 2:09:04Speaker 2: may have broken you, but your brokenness is part of
- 2:09:08Speaker 2: your testimony and your walk with God. So when you
- 2:09:12Speaker 2: become closer to him, you understand that every situation that
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: you have been through was connected to the puzzle that
- 2:09:22Speaker 2: He has created for your life and as I say
- 2:09:25Speaker 2: over and over again, we may not understand what God
- 2:09:29Speaker 2: is doing, but there's always a purpose behind it. We
- 2:09:33Speaker 2: don't understand any of it at the.
- 2:09:35Speaker 3: Time he's doing it.
- 2:09:36Speaker 6: Like I told you, guys, I.
- 2:09:37Speaker 2: Didn't understand why he was making me take a public
- 2:09:39Speaker 2: speaking class.
- 2:09:40Speaker 3: I ain't had nothing to.
- 2:09:40Speaker 2: Do with me then have nothing with what I had
- 2:09:42Speaker 2: going on at the time. However, God knew that I
- 2:09:46Speaker 2: needed it, and he knew when I would use it.
- 2:09:49Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:09:50Speaker 2: So God is intentional about everything that he says and
- 2:09:54Speaker 2: that he does. We just have to listen to him.
- 2:09:57Speaker 2: So understand that your brokenness, even when man tells you
- 2:10:02Speaker 2: just to get used to it, like they told me
- 2:10:04Speaker 2: to just get used to not being able to use
- 2:10:06Speaker 2: my left side, just to get used to having that stroke.
- 2:10:10Speaker 3: Not eyah, No, I said, listen.
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: And then I had one doctor who told me I
- 2:10:16Speaker 2: needed to have brain surgery and all of this stuff.
- 2:10:19Speaker 2: And I said, you know what, I'm gonna take my
- 2:10:20Speaker 2: chances with God because he's never let me down, he's
- 2:10:22Speaker 2: never led me astray. And when I told you that surgery,
- 2:10:28Speaker 2: God has been my surgeon. He's been everything that I've needed,
- 2:10:32Speaker 2: and I am grateful that he has never taken his
- 2:10:35Speaker 2: hands off of me, even when I'm being hard headed
- 2:10:38Speaker 2: and acting like I can't hear him when he's talking
- 2:10:41Speaker 2: to me like a stoborn little.
- 2:10:43Speaker 3: Kid, like I don't want to hear that.
- 2:10:44Speaker 2: He's always there, and he's like, I'm gonna be in
- 2:10:47Speaker 2: your end until you actually do what I told.
- 2:10:48Speaker 6: You to do.
- 2:10:49Speaker 2: And I'm like, Okay, I won't do it today, but
- 2:10:51Speaker 2: can I do it tomorrow?
- 2:10:52Speaker 3: No, I need you to do it today.
- 2:10:54Speaker 2: I'm no longer running from my purpose, So you need
- 2:10:57Speaker 2: to stop running from what God is calling you to do.
- 2:11:00Speaker 2: If you heard nothing else that we said, your brokenness
- 2:11:04Speaker 2: is not the end of your story. It's the beginning.
- 2:11:06Speaker 2: So when you begin to share, you begin to heal.
- 2:11:09Speaker 2: And when you're able to heal, you're able to hear.
- 2:11:12Speaker 2: Because healed ears hear differently, and healed feelings here differently.
- 2:11:19Speaker 2: And when you're in a space, you can tell when
- 2:11:21Speaker 2: you're still in a space where people are broken, because
- 2:11:24Speaker 2: the conversations are different. When you're in a space where
- 2:11:27Speaker 2: people are healed and they know that they're healed, you
- 2:11:31Speaker 2: hear different things and you see things differently. Pay attention
- 2:11:35Speaker 2: to the environments that you're in, know that if it's
- 2:11:39Speaker 2: not in alignment with what you're going to remove yourself
- 2:11:42Speaker 2: and it's okay to exit stage left. Understand that God's
- 2:11:46Speaker 2: purpose is always determined by what He had already instilled
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: within you from the very beginning. I don't believe that
- 2:11:55Speaker 2: God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.
- 2:11:58Speaker 3: I don't believe that.
- 2:11:59Speaker 2: In the reason I say that is because everything that
- 2:12:03Speaker 2: God has instilled in us was there from the day
- 2:12:06Speaker 2: we were conceived on this earth. So it's up to
- 2:12:09Speaker 2: us to dig deep and find those skills that He's
- 2:12:13Speaker 2: already put in us. So you ain't got to bear
- 2:12:17Speaker 2: nothing that God has already given you the tools to
- 2:12:21Speaker 2: make it over, to get through it, to go through.
- 2:12:24Speaker 2: And if you praying and asking God for strength, understand
- 2:12:27Speaker 2: he's gonna test you. If you're praying and asking God
- 2:12:30Speaker 2: for patience, He's gonna send something to test that patience.
- 2:12:33Speaker 2: So if you're going through, understand God ain't gonna inswer
- 2:12:37Speaker 2: the prayer without taking you through it to develop the
- 2:12:40Speaker 2: skills that He needs to prosper you. And if you're
- 2:12:43Speaker 2: in a season of isolation, understand that that's the reason
- 2:12:46Speaker 2: for you to get closer to God, because God will
- 2:12:49Speaker 2: isolate you when he's ready to motivate you and move
- 2:12:51Speaker 2: you to your next level. It's nothing for punishment. God
- 2:12:55Speaker 2: never punishes us without the blessing. So if He give
- 2:12:58Speaker 2: you an idea, he'll provide the provision for you to
- 2:13:00Speaker 2: get to it. So understand that God is God all
- 2:13:04Speaker 2: by himself. And I'm gonna wrap it up with saying this,
- 2:13:08Speaker 2: like I always do, stay out of God's business. The
- 2:13:11Speaker 2: only thing he needs you to do is be obedient
- 2:13:14Speaker 2: to what He's called you to do. Now this has
- 2:13:16Speaker 2: been Matters of the Heart Part two. Stay tuned.
- 2:13:19Speaker 3: There may always be a part three because Matters of.
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: The Heart is one that keeps us living and breathing,
- 2:13:25Speaker 2: and God is the head of it all. I love you, guys,
- 2:13:27Speaker 2: and I thank you guys for being with us today
