  Speaker 2: Okay, So in Matthew chapter ten, verse one, we're gonna

  Speaker 2: that's titled Jesus chooses twelve men to be his Apostles.

  Speaker 1: Verse one.

  Speaker 2: One day Jesus asked his twelve disciples to come to him.

  Speaker 1: He gave listen.

  Speaker 2: He gave them authority over bad spirits so that they

  Speaker 2: could send the spirits.

  Speaker 2: They could also make sick people well again from every

  Speaker 1: I want to talk about this deeply. I want to

  Speaker 2: Deeply because a lot of people that believe are a

  Speaker 2: lot of people that don't believe. They underestimate, oh, the

  Speaker 2: powers and authorities of followers of Christ. We're not talking

  Speaker 2: about just believing and going to church, Okay, We're talking
• 4:02
  Speaker 2: about casting out demons. We're talking about curing people, being
• 4:07
  Speaker 2: a healer. There's certain authorities that is given after you
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: really accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: get baptized and start following Jesus.

  Speaker 1: Now that middle thing that I said isn't necessarily a
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: requirement to get into heaven. You don't have to get baptized.

  Speaker 2: I highly recommend it because it's a presentation of repentance

  Speaker 2: and it shows God the respect.

  Speaker 2: So let's get into it deeper, because I love me

  Speaker 2: some Matthew, Chapter ten, and just Matthew The Gospel of

  Speaker 2: Matthew Verse two. These are the names of the twelve apostles.

  Speaker 2: The first apostle is Simon, who was also called Peter.

  Speaker 2: Then Simon's brother who was called Andrew. Also James and

  Speaker 2: his brother John, who were Zebedee's sons. Forgive me for

  Speaker 2: verse three. There were Philip and Bartholo men I probably

  Speaker 1: Jesus to his enemies.

  Speaker 2: We kind of, well, most people know about Judas the betrayal, right,

  Speaker 2: and there had to been. It's something that Jesus saw

  Speaker 2: in Judas right to still choose him as his disciple,

  Speaker 2: just like how we choose people right that are not

  Speaker 2: necessarily good for us, that are gonna betray us.

  Speaker 1: But in the end, I want to make this clear,

  Speaker 1: Judas hung himself.

  Speaker 2: Because he knew that he did not only Jesus wrong,

  Speaker 2: but he did God wrong.

  Speaker 1: He did the disciples wrong for some silver, for some money. Ah,

  Speaker 1: it goes deeper than that.

  Speaker 2: That's why I hate money, and the love of the

  Speaker 2: money is the root of all evil. You're chasing that money.

  Speaker 2: You want to be successful, you want to be famous,

  Speaker 2: you want to be all these things.

  Speaker 1: Right, you don't know what.

  Speaker 2: Necessarily comes with all that, you know, you really don't.

  Speaker 1: And you probably don't.

  Speaker 2: Jesus, And we're in Matthew chapter ten, verse five, and

  Speaker 2: this is the title. Jesus sends his twelve apostles.

  Speaker 1: To places in Israel. Verse five.

  Speaker 2: Jesus sent out these twelve disciples. Before they left, he

  Speaker 2: said to them, do not go to any place where

  Speaker 2: the people are gentiles, and do not go to towns

  Speaker 2: where only Samarran people live.

  Speaker 1: Verse six.

  Speaker 2: Instead, you must go to the people of Israel. They

  Speaker 2: are like a lost sheep with nobody to take care

  Speaker 2: become near Verse eight. Make sick people well again, Cause

  Speaker 2: dead people to become alive again. If people have bad

  Speaker 2: skin diseases, make them well again. Send bad spirits out

  Speaker 2: of people to leave them. God has been very kind

  Speaker 2: to you, so you should be kind to other people.

  Speaker 2: When you help people, do not ask them for money.

  Speaker 2: Do not take any money in your purses.

  Speaker 2: Do not take a bag with you or extra clothes.

  Speaker 2: Do not take extra shoes or a stick. You are

  Speaker 2: working to help people, so people should give you what

  Speaker 2: you need to live. Jesus is saying here that I'm

  Speaker 2: giving you the authority to do what I have done

  Speaker 2: the miracles right, And when we're sitting here and we're

  Speaker 2: using God as a genie in a bottle, I mean

  Speaker 2: I've done it.

  Speaker 1: You've done it. That's not how it works.

  Speaker 2: They're sick people out here and they're suffering, but giving

  Speaker 2: that spiritual gift that is the reward in itself, seeing

  Speaker 2: sick people.

  Speaker 1: Not sick anymore. God's gonna take care of your needs.

  Speaker 2: People are gonna God's gonna place people in your life,

  Speaker 2: whether you're financially not doing.

  Speaker 1: Good shelter, food, clothes. I mean, there's so many.

  Speaker 2: Organizations out there that help people, right, and there's so

  Speaker 2: many ways and miracles that happen you get what you need.

  Speaker 1: Verse eleven.

  Speaker 2: When you arrive in a town or a village, look

  Speaker 2: for a good person there.

  Speaker 1: Look for a good person there.

  Speaker 2: Continue to stay in that person's house until you leave there.

  Speaker 2: When you go into the house, ask God to bless

  Speaker 2: little bit. Verse thirteen. If the people of the house

  Speaker 2: deserve God's blessing, then they will have peace. But if

  Speaker 2: they do not deserve it, God will bless you with

  Speaker 2: peace instead of them. God's gonna take care of you.

  Speaker 2: If they don't take care of you, Just go out

  Speaker 2: save sick people. Watch how God not only blesses you,

  Speaker 2: but blesses them by as you being a blessing, to
