- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast this week on your
- 0:13Speaker 1: gabble gabble. If you promise a fifty three person party,
- 0:16Speaker 1: a great Mother's Day celebration complete with a V and
- 0:19Speaker 1: then your restaurant gets crowded, do you open the service feedback?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Judge Ross is gonna tell us. And if you pay
- 0:25Speaker 1: for your child's plane tickets and lawyer to get him
- 0:29Speaker 1: out of a bad marriage in London, can you can
- 0:32Speaker 1: you sue him to make him pay you back? Judge
- 0:35Speaker 1: Ronda tells us real people, Hey, Justice, this is.
- 0:40Speaker 2: All right, all right, all right comment Danny, all right, man,
- 0:49Speaker 2: you said was a lot, a lot.
- 0:50Speaker 1: There was a lot going on there. It's relative relative justice,
- 0:54Speaker 1: Judge Ron, Judge Ronda, isn't the gable, the best, the best.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Let's get you better than this. I will send TV
- 1:00Speaker 1: Court telling each other about them.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I was just going to say, one thing that makes
- 1:03Speaker 3: it better is the reviews we have, which we don't
- 1:05Speaker 3: have any.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We don't have any new ones since our last episode.
- 1:08Speaker 1: But we're going to get there. We're going to people
- 1:10Speaker 1: I believe in us. Danny were talking about the show,
- 1:12Speaker 1: what is it? What are we doing? So we watched
- 1:14Speaker 1: some TV Court cases and we I watch one, I
- 1:17Speaker 1: tell you about it. You try to guess the verdict.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You watch one, you tell me about it. I try
- 1:20Speaker 1: to guess the verdict. And we love TV Court. So
- 1:22Speaker 1: it's like to do this for a job is just
- 1:25Speaker 1: not fair. I would do it in my in my
- 1:26Speaker 1: spare time. That's right. It's a fun time every time.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I love it, love the TV Court, and we love
- 1:31Speaker 1: the TV Courtum show, Dan, who do you have to judge?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Ross America? He wants you to overstand it, not to understand?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Can I ask you something I picked up on the streets? Actually, yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 1: to tell me about I believe justice seems to be best.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I can figure a bit of a foreign content. Now,
- 1:49Speaker 1: see that's where you're wrong. It's a common misconception really
- 1:52Speaker 1: in America's court. Yeah, justice isn't some foreign concepts. Oh,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I'm easy to understand. Yeah, I'm miss and it's a
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's a tricky justice is a tricky concept in this
- 2:03Speaker 1: one though. Oh interest, you get this right? I mean
- 2:05Speaker 1: this is a tough one. Okay, it's a tough spot
- 2:07Speaker 1: to go. You've piqued my interest. Andrea Brina is suing
- 2:10Speaker 1: Donovan Maler for fifty two dollars and fifty cents said
- 2:15Speaker 1: four hundred and fifty two dollars and fifty cents downtown died.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Andrea Brina wants you to know that her grandmother is
- 2:22Speaker 1: supposed to die within the year. Now she is she
- 2:27Speaker 1: is not terminally ill. She just will die within a year.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Now does she have money on it? Now? Why? Why
- 2:34Speaker 1: do I know that? It's because Andrea Brina says it.
- 2:37Speaker 1: She's supposed to die within the year. So many times
- 2:40Speaker 1: she's supposed to die. She says, I wanted to have
- 2:41Speaker 1: a special event for my grandma's birthday. The doctor said
- 2:45Speaker 1: she might not live another years. Gooda and Ross is like, oh,
- 2:48Speaker 1: what's wrong. She goes, She's just old. She's just old,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and she might not live another year, and so we
- 2:54Speaker 1: want her birthday falls right around Mother's Day every year.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So we decided to go to this restaurant and reserved
- 2:59Speaker 1: a private room and do a huge celebration with all
- 3:02Speaker 1: the relatives. Fifty three people were there, and we do
- 3:05Speaker 1: a whole thing celebrating my grandma's birthday and her life,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and then all the mothers are there anyway, so it
- 3:10Speaker 1: works out perfect. That was what we want to do.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Ross is already skeptical. A lot of folks on Mother's
- 3:16Speaker 1: Day in a restaurant, that's the busiest day of the year.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Donovan's over there, going, yes, sir, it is. That's my
- 3:20Speaker 1: busiest day of the year. You're right, you're runner, So
- 3:22Speaker 1: Andrew goes. Donovan and I have been friends for three years.
- 3:25Speaker 1: We met at a gym and he opened up a
- 3:28Speaker 1: restaurant a year ago, and he's been doing great, and
- 3:31Speaker 1: so I wanted to give him my business and I
- 3:33Speaker 1: planned it ahead of time. I reserved this room, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: I did request some special services for our room, but
- 3:39Speaker 1: he knew about that, that was in the contract. And
- 3:41Speaker 1: Ross is, what were the special services? She goes, well,
- 3:43Speaker 1: bar services. He's like, that's not unusual. That's pretty common
- 3:46Speaker 1: to have a bar at a restaurant. He goes, She said,
- 3:48Speaker 1: but I want a PA system and a projector. We
- 3:50Speaker 1: were going to do a video presentation of a slide
- 3:53Speaker 1: show of all the pictures through jestice something like this
- 3:55Speaker 1: for my father in law right back in December. But
- 3:58Speaker 1: the reason Andrew's doing it, and I want to quote this, says,
- 4:00Speaker 1: is because Granny might not be around another year. She
- 4:02Speaker 1: she's the doctors say, which is that she's very much
- 4:07Speaker 1: confirms there is nothing wrong with Granny aside for me.
- 4:10Speaker 1: The only reason they're doing this part is because she
- 4:11Speaker 1: might not be here. She might not be here next
- 4:13Speaker 1: year when next year rolls around. Right, So Ross goes, well,
- 4:17Speaker 1: is she still living? Andrew goes, yeah, but it's not
- 4:19Speaker 1: looking great. What can you do? What can you do?
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm sure it's been years. At this point, Ross says, well,
- 4:28Speaker 1: how things go? Andrew's like, not great. The bar service
- 4:31Speaker 1: really slow, and and Ross once again drawing out his
- 4:35Speaker 1: little paper on Mother's Day. I can't imagine that. Like,
- 4:38Speaker 1: He's like, he's just not buying it. But I still
- 4:40Speaker 1: paid for a service. They pay for a service. She's like,
- 4:43Speaker 1: folks are starting to get a little upset. And then
- 4:45Speaker 1: when we got there, the projector wasn't set up. Okay,
- 4:49Speaker 1: he goes to Donovan. Donovan, was a projector set up
- 4:51Speaker 1: your honor? It wasn't. It wasn't set up when she
- 4:54Speaker 1: got there. I will admit that, He says, I was
- 4:56Speaker 1: short staffed. We've been slammed since the door opened. It
- 4:59Speaker 1: got away from me. You had to wait twenty minutes
- 5:01Speaker 1: for the projector. She did she had to wait twenty minutes.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And Andrew goes, yeah, and then the bulb went out. Oh.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Ross was like, the bulb went out. Did a ball
- 5:09Speaker 1: go out? Donovan says, yes, you're on it. How long
- 5:12Speaker 1: to change the bulb? He said, about a half an
- 5:13Speaker 1: hour to change the ball. He goes, so, now we're
- 5:15Speaker 1: near an hour of inconvenience for a woman that's paid
- 5:20Speaker 1: for the room. And then Donovan goes, the PA system
- 5:24Speaker 1: also went out for about a half an hour during
- 5:26Speaker 1: that same time. When for what reason did it go out?
- 5:29Speaker 1: I don't know, I've known you. Uh, Ross's anything? He
- 5:32Speaker 1: gave up that information willingly? Will he did anything else
- 5:35Speaker 1: go wrong? Donovan says, no, it didn't, and and Ross goes, so,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you're saying she should have to pay the entire amount Andrew, no,
- 5:44Speaker 1: Ross says Andrea, So you're saying you shouldn't have to
- 5:46Speaker 1: pay any money. You did go there, you did like
- 5:50Speaker 1: the event happened. You're saying you're not. You want your
- 5:54Speaker 1: money back? And she goes, no, I just want the
- 5:57Speaker 1: service feedback. I paid for the food, I paid for
- 6:01Speaker 1: the bar, service, all the drinks, no issues, no issues
- 6:05Speaker 1: at all. Ross says, you paid for all that out
- 6:06Speaker 1: of pocket, Yes, sir. He goes, what about gratuity, Donovan,
- 6:09Speaker 1: did she pay for gratuity? He goes, yes, sir, all
- 6:11Speaker 1: of that was paid. Andrew says, I don't want any
- 6:14Speaker 1: of it back. I don't want to tip back. I
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't want any money for any of the food or
- 6:17Speaker 1: drink back. I want the service feedback where they were
- 6:21Speaker 1: supposed to get everything ready. That's what I want back,
- 6:24Speaker 1: projector AV, That's what I want back. She sounds like
- 6:29Speaker 1: she's being very fair. Donovan says, you'r honor. I understand
- 6:32Speaker 1: where she's coming from. But she received those services. It
- 6:35Speaker 1: wasn't the service of setup. It was it was the
- 6:38Speaker 1: service of PA system, Projector. We We did have some trouble,
- 6:45Speaker 1: but we did do those things. Ross says, you have
- 6:48Speaker 1: a contract. They both say yes. They both hand up
- 6:50Speaker 1: a contract. He goes, this is really sweet. You guys
- 6:52Speaker 1: both brought brought a contract. Donovan highlights where she signs
- 6:58Speaker 1: like the like, I'm that I'm paying for all of
- 7:02Speaker 1: these extra services. So can I ask a question? I might?
- 7:07Speaker 3: I might be answered, But does it say that those
- 7:10Speaker 3: services will be set up ahead of time?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Upon it? All right? And we don't get that. Here's
- 7:15Speaker 1: what we do have. There's an email back and forth
- 7:17Speaker 1: from Andrew and Donovan. Andrew is saying she wants This
- 7:19Speaker 1: email from Donovan says, you may want to reconsider Mother's Day.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's our busiest day of the year and will be
- 7:24Speaker 1: very crowded, very busy. Andrea says she really wants that day.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He says, I got you. I understand. We will work
- 7:32Speaker 1: as hard as we can to make it happen. That's
- 7:34Speaker 1: what he says. That's the end of that conversation. Donovan says,
- 7:37Speaker 1: so towards the end of her event, we get everything
- 7:40Speaker 1: set up and going, she comes out to the regular
- 7:43Speaker 1: dining room and basically blesses me out like screams at me,
- 7:48Speaker 1: gets angry in front of in front of all these
- 7:49Speaker 1: paying customers in the entire restaurant, made a scene in
- 7:53Speaker 1: the main dining room and on Mother's Day, my busiest
- 7:57Speaker 1: day of the year. Any chance I did feel bad
- 8:00Speaker 1: ad for what happened, but we did provide the services.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Any chance I had of returning that fee was gone
- 8:05Speaker 1: as soon as she did that. Rosco's I understand she
- 8:08Speaker 1: made a scene. You didn't like it, and now you've
- 8:10Speaker 1: dug in because it could impact your business. Andrew, did
- 8:13Speaker 1: you make a scene? Andrew said, I did make a scene,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but it was my family and things were going so wrong.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And Roscoe's I get it. People get worked up. You
- 8:22Speaker 1: paid for something. The family's all there. This guy's business
- 8:26Speaker 1: was to provide a service. It wasn't ready when you
- 8:28Speaker 1: got there. It was a lot of things went wrong.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I understand he's ready to rule. This is a very
- 8:33Speaker 1: tough case, right about that four hundred and two dollars
- 8:36Speaker 1: fifty cents. I think that both of these individuals are
- 8:42Speaker 1: are correct, and that is where it gets tricky. That
- 8:45Speaker 1: is what and that's why justice can't be a foreign country.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It can't be. It can't be. Got to overstand that
- 8:50Speaker 1: wouldn't be, you know.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I mean, I believe that what we're gonna get here
- 8:54Speaker 3: is her getting no money. And here's why I think. Okay,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I think that that email really helps. The email where
- 9:03Speaker 3: he says you should reconsider mother to day. She says, no,
- 9:06Speaker 3: I really want this day, and he says we will
- 9:08Speaker 3: work as hard as hard as hand. She knew, she knew,
- 9:12Speaker 3: she knew that, she knew that it was Mother's Day.
- 9:15Speaker 3: She knew that they were already going to be up
- 9:17Speaker 3: against it. And if I think if she hadn't gone
- 9:23Speaker 3: out there and yelled at him, she may get her money.
- 9:27Speaker 3: But I I think that there's there's something about being understanding,
- 9:33Speaker 3: extending a bit of an olive branch, if you will,
- 9:35Speaker 3: and being like, I understand where you're coming from. Could
- 9:36Speaker 3: you possibly just give us a service feedback because of
- 9:39Speaker 3: what happened, I think this guy probably would have done it,
- 9:42Speaker 3: and she would have been entitled to it. But I
- 9:44Speaker 3: think when when you're when stuff like this is going on,
- 9:48Speaker 3: and he already gave you the.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Warning like, hey, we're gonna be up against.
- 9:51Speaker 3: It, I think it's tough. And so I don't I
- 9:55Speaker 3: don't think. I don't think she's gonna get the money.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So I honestly don't believe Ross knows what to do
- 10:02Speaker 1: with this case, which I've never seen before. Yeah, I
- 10:04Speaker 1: feel like he makes up his judgment. Oh interesting, And
- 10:07Speaker 1: I know that if Ross, if Boss Ross, if you're listening,
- 10:10Speaker 1: we love you. I'm not here to taint your reputation
- 10:13Speaker 1: in any way, shape or form. But I think you
- 10:14Speaker 1: didn't know what to do here. I honestly believe it.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I honestly believe on the spot you made this up.
- 10:19Speaker 1: He looks, He goes, I feel like the gabble has
- 10:23Speaker 1: to come down in favor of the plaintiff. She deserves
- 10:27Speaker 1: some of that service fee returned. The services were not
- 10:30Speaker 1: all rendered as in the method that they should, in
- 10:33Speaker 1: the time that they should. She's gonna get two hundred
- 10:36Speaker 1: and fifty dollars now half would have been two twenty
- 10:40Speaker 1: six twenty five. That makes sense to me, Hey, split
- 10:44Speaker 1: it down the middle. Sure, twoin fifty Andrew gets two fifty.
- 10:48Speaker 1: One of the few judgments by Ross where I'm like,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I don't know how he got there. Yeah. If he
- 10:52Speaker 1: had said none, I'd have been like, I get it.
- 10:54Speaker 1: If he had said all, I had said, I get it.
- 10:56Speaker 1: If he had said two twenty six twenty five, I
- 10:59Speaker 1: just said I get it. I don't understand two fifty.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense. That's what Ross goes with.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And it looked like he made up that number. He
- 11:05Speaker 1: looked down and what you do? What would you have
- 11:07Speaker 1: to be? I probably would have made him split it. Yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: they both have strong cases. I think he looked down,
- 11:11Speaker 1: saw the number was four fifty two to fifty rounded
- 11:13Speaker 1: up to five hundred and gave her half. That's what
- 11:15Speaker 1: I think he did, which is not justice. That is,
- 11:17Speaker 1: that is not anywhere near justice. Foreign consent. That's exactly right.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He didn't overstand anything. That's what he did. Good case,
- 11:23Speaker 1: Very interesting. Let's head over to a Relative justice with
- 11:28Speaker 1: Judge Ronda, a new show that I found you liked
- 11:31Speaker 1: two weeks ago. I liked her.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I decided to give her another chance. Let's see if
- 11:35Speaker 3: it was worth it. I want to introduce you to
- 11:37Speaker 3: Donna Moskowitz. She is suing her son, Mayor Moscowitch for
- 11:42Speaker 3: fifty five hundred dollars for lawyers and moving fees.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Are okay, I'm ready? Don number again? How much lawyers
- 11:52Speaker 1: of movie.
- 11:52Speaker 3: At the beginning, it says fifty five hundred. Throughout the show,
- 11:56Speaker 3: they showed two different numbers and they add up to
- 11:59Speaker 3: five thousand. So I think there's a chance at the
- 12:01Speaker 3: number at the beginning with shot, it's either five thousand
- 12:04Speaker 3: and fifty five hundreds. Donna says that her son Mayor
- 12:07Speaker 3: wanted to start his own life when he turned eighteen,
- 12:10Speaker 3: and he moved to London.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Why so far away, he may be wondering.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Mara says that his parents weren't the easiest to live
- 12:17Speaker 3: with as a kid, and I was a bit of
- 12:20Speaker 3: a problem child. I acted out, I'll admit that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And so when I turned eighteen, it was just my
- 12:26Speaker 1: desire to get as far away from my parents as possible. Yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: it's both. It's a bold thing to say. It's tough.
- 12:30Speaker 1: That's tough for a parent to here, I'm sure.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Judge asked what made him the problem child, and Donna
- 12:35Speaker 3: says that he was a very intelligent young man and
- 12:38Speaker 3: it uses intelligence. He would try to take the easy
- 12:41Speaker 3: way out anytime he could, and he got in with
- 12:44Speaker 3: a bad crowd and it was heartbreaking for us.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And she was relieved when he moved out to London. Okay,
- 12:53Speaker 1: so tough relationships is tough. Spot.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Mayor acknowledges that he put his mom through he says,
- 12:59Speaker 3: through hell, but that's ultimately at the end of the day.
- 13:04Speaker 3: She would always she was always supportive when he went
- 13:06Speaker 3: to London, was like, you should go to London.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That's fine. But coming from a Jewish family, there was
- 13:13Speaker 1: NonStop Jewish guilt from my mom to get married as
- 13:17Speaker 1: quickly as possible, which I did, and I chose the
- 13:22Speaker 1: wrong girl. Does he have any proof of the guilt
- 13:26Speaker 1: or is this just hiss iss Donna says that he
- 13:29Speaker 1: was happy that he got married, but didn't know at
- 13:34Speaker 1: the time that this girl was as intense as she was.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She wouldn't let him wear jeans.
- 13:40Speaker 3: She would only let him keep his hair short, which
- 13:43Speaker 3: is quite a contrast to how he looks now. He
- 13:45Speaker 3: has huge beard.
- 13:46Speaker 1: His very his wife, wouldn't let wear jeans, wouldn't let
- 13:51Speaker 1: him grow his hair out. This whole thing sounds like
- 13:53Speaker 1: somebody doesn't understand understand how to use words, very very demanding. Purse,
- 13:59Speaker 1: good god. So Mayer says that his ex wife was
- 14:02Speaker 1: abusive verbally and physically, and that he began to document it.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 14:07Speaker 3: One day they got into a bit of an argument
- 14:09Speaker 3: and she leaves. It was right before passover and he
- 14:13Speaker 3: needed to go get some food for the holiday, but
- 14:16Speaker 3: she took the car and went to her parents' house.
- 14:19Speaker 3: So he goes to her parents' house and waits outside
- 14:22Speaker 3: for her to bring the keys, which she never does. Instead,
- 14:26Speaker 3: the police show up and arrest him, and she claimed
- 14:29Speaker 3: that he pushed her.
- 14:31Speaker 1: He says, I did push. I didn't. I didn't I
- 14:33Speaker 1: did not hit her. I did not, but.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Those those charges have been dropped, so take that for
- 14:41Speaker 3: what it's worth. But word ultimately got out, the damage
- 14:44Speaker 3: was done. Word got out that he pushed his wife.
- 14:47Speaker 3: He loses his job, he loses a lot, and so
- 14:51Speaker 3: he's in a really tough spot. So he calls his mom,
- 14:54Speaker 3: and his mom says, divorce this woman and come home.
- 14:58Speaker 3: So he She sends twenty five hundred dollars as a
- 15:01Speaker 3: down payment for a lawyer, and another twenty five hundred
- 15:05Speaker 3: dollars to get him out of that country. This is real,
- 15:08Speaker 3: as soon as possible.
- 15:09Speaker 1: A lot of money to get out of the country
- 15:11Speaker 1: when it's England. I don't know, he said.
- 15:15Speaker 3: He said that she used her Jewish mom guilt to
- 15:19Speaker 3: convince me to come home, even though I didn't want to.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I liked living in London. I was happy there. Judge says,
- 15:26Speaker 3: you could have said no. He says, I cannot say
- 15:30Speaker 3: no to my mom.
- 15:32Speaker 1: All right, dude, this guy, this guy has he had
- 15:35Speaker 1: a problem. Yeah, he says. Why he's telling him how
- 15:38Speaker 1: to dress and he can't say no to his mom? Can't?
- 15:43Speaker 1: She asked? Uh?
- 15:44Speaker 3: She asks mom why she thinks that this is a
- 15:48Speaker 3: loan and not a gift. At the end of the day,
- 15:50Speaker 3: this is your kid, that's right, And she says that
- 15:52Speaker 3: we specifically said that it's alone and we expect you
- 15:55Speaker 3: to pay it back when you get a job.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You got paperwork for that. We'll get to. She asks
- 16:01Speaker 1: if he repaid any of it, and he says, I have.
- 16:05Speaker 1: My dad began taking two hundred dollars out of my
- 16:08Speaker 1: pay check for about five months. Is his dad have
- 16:12Speaker 1: access to his paycheck? I don't know when his dad's
- 16:14Speaker 1: not here either, which is interesting, but that's information that
- 16:18Speaker 1: he gives up willing nine years old, judge asks Judge
- 16:23Speaker 1: Ronda asked why she uh? Why she asks him to Ultimately,
- 16:28Speaker 1: oh oh, he ended up moving out of the house
- 16:30Speaker 1: and hasn't paid sentence.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Why did you end up making him move out? And
- 16:34Speaker 3: she says that he's a slop?
- 16:36Speaker 1: You know? Could you?
- 16:37Speaker 3: I couldn't even get to his to the to the
- 16:40Speaker 3: armoire in his room because of all of the stuff that.
- 16:44Speaker 1: He had in this room. It was a mess. I
- 16:45Speaker 1: couldn't deal with it.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I was feeling stressed out of my own house, so
- 16:47Speaker 3: I told him to get lost very well.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I hate everything about this serious case. His relative justice.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Remember the last time releative justice, it was so much fun,
- 16:56Speaker 1: so much fun. So now we know relative justice not
- 16:58Speaker 1: always not always fun. Serious case, serious case, real people.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Uh.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I don't want either of them to get this money.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I don't want that. I want this dude to grow
- 17:09Speaker 1: a pair and make a single GD decision on his own.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And I want this mom to stop acting like she
- 17:18Speaker 1: doesn't like her kid when she's clearly bailing him out
- 17:22Speaker 1: of every situation. So I want the court to take
- 17:25Speaker 1: the money and spend it on scratch offs. I don't
- 17:29Speaker 1: want anyone to get the money. If he acknowledged in
- 17:33Speaker 1: the courtroom he was supposed to pay it back. She
- 17:36Speaker 1: gets it, Mom gets the money back. They definitely should
- 17:41Speaker 1: both go to therapy. Yeah. Yeah, here's what jud Rond said.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's clear to me what did you end up saying? Sorry,
- 17:47Speaker 1: she get Mom gets the money.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's clear to me that you knew that it
- 17:51Speaker 3: was a loan because you were allowing your father to
- 17:53Speaker 3: take money out of your paychecks. Even though there's not
- 17:55Speaker 3: a signed document or anything like that, you are already
- 17:59Speaker 3: doing it. Therefore, you are agreeing that it is alone.
- 18:04Speaker 3: She says to Mom, you treat him like a baby.
- 18:06Speaker 3: And as long as you treat him like a baby,
- 18:07Speaker 3: he's going to keep acting like a baby. So stop
- 18:09Speaker 3: stop treating him like a baby. And the first step
- 18:12Speaker 3: of not acting like a baby anymore is paying your
- 18:14Speaker 3: parents back. Since your parents have already taken back one
- 18:16Speaker 3: thousand dollars, you owe him four thousand dollars.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Four thousand dollars. Okay, fair, So mom was asking for
- 18:24Speaker 1: the full pay fifteen hundred again or whatever it was, Yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 1: which is interesting, but there you go, relative relative justice.
- 18:31Speaker 1: It was interesting. I felt bad for the Like, the
- 18:34Speaker 1: part of thing is he he was really sad. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: just saw sadness in him, which made me sad. Yeah, okay,
- 18:43Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, you want people to be happy. I
- 18:45Speaker 1: get that. I think part of this thing, like, part
- 18:47Speaker 1: of this is he's this kid who, uh clearly has
- 18:53Speaker 1: a lot of feelings about his mom guilting him into
- 18:57Speaker 1: things his entire life. Whether that's true or not, I
- 19:00Speaker 1: don't know, but clearly he has a lot of feels
- 19:01Speaker 1: about that. He gets married as quick as as he
- 19:04Speaker 1: can to somebody who is incredibly demanding. That's exactly right.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And so I think there's just a lot of sadness
- 19:14Speaker 1: in this man, and I hope that they both get
- 19:15Speaker 1: the help today that they need. We did that. Shout
- 19:18Speaker 1: out to help, shout out to getting help. We did everybody.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Congratulations to us. Will you come on back? Will I
- 19:25Speaker 1: hope you will come back, because we're gonna be back
- 19:26Speaker 1: next week with two more cases, two more courtrooms, two
- 19:30Speaker 1: more judges. Come on back until then, all rise. You
