- 0:05Speaker 1: Good evening, America. Eleven months ago. I inherited a mess,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and I'm fixing it. When I took office, inflation was
- 0:13Speaker 1: the worst in forty eight years, and some would say
- 0:16Speaker 1: in the history of our country, which caused prices to
- 0:20Speaker 1: be higher than ever before, making life unaffordable.
- 0:24Speaker 2: For millions and millions of Americans.
- 0:27Speaker 1: This happened during a Democrat administration, and it's when we
- 0:31Speaker 1: first began hearing the word affordability. Our border was open,
- 0:36Speaker 1: and because of this, our country was being invaded by
- 0:39Speaker 1: an army of twenty five million people, many who came
- 0:43Speaker 1: from prisons and jails, mental institutions.
- 0:46Speaker 2: And insane asylums.
- 0:48Speaker 1: They were drug dealers, gang members, and even eleven thousand,
- 0:52Speaker 1: eight hundred and eighty eight murders, more than fifty percent
- 0:56Speaker 1: of whom killed more than one person. This is why
- 1:00Speaker 1: the Biden administration allowed to happen to our country, and
- 1:04Speaker 1: it can never be allowed to happen again.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We had men playing in women's.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Sports, transgender for everybody, crime at record levels, with law
- 1:14Speaker 1: enforcement and words such as that just absolutely forbidden. We
- 1:21Speaker 1: had the worst trade deals ever made, and our country
- 1:24Speaker 1: was laughed at from all over the world. But they're
- 1:27Speaker 1: not laughing anymore. Over the past eleven months, we have
- 1:32Speaker 1: brought more positive change to Washington than any administration in
- 1:37Speaker 1: American history. There's never been anything like it, and I think.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Most would agree.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I was elected in a landslide, winning the popular vote
- 1:47Speaker 1: and all seven swing states and everything else, with a
- 1:52Speaker 1: mandate to take on a sick and corrupt system. That
- 1:57Speaker 1: extra really just took the wealth from crushed the dreams
- 2:01Speaker 1: of the American people.
- 2:03Speaker 2: For the last four years.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The United States was ruled by politicians who fought only
- 2:08Speaker 1: for insiders, illegal aliens, career criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists,
- 2:15Speaker 1: and above all, foreign nations which took advantage of US
- 2:19Speaker 1: at levels never seen before. They flooded your cities and
- 2:23Speaker 1: towns with illegal aliens.
- 2:25Speaker 3: They decimated your hard earned savings.
- 2:28Speaker 1: They indoctrinated your children with hate for America. Released really,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I mean, they just released a level of violent felons
- 2:36Speaker 1: that we had never seen to prey on innocent They
- 2:40Speaker 1: caused war, they caused mayem They caused a horrible situation.
- 2:46Speaker 2: All over the globe.
- 2:47Speaker 1: But now you have a president who fights for the
- 2:50Speaker 1: law abiding, hard working people of our country. The ones
- 2:54Speaker 1: who make this nation run, who make this nation work?
- 2:58Speaker 1: And after just one year, we have achieved more than
- 3:01Speaker 1: anyone could have imagined. Starting on day one, I took
- 3:05Speaker 1: immediate action to stop the invasion of our southern border.
- 3:09Speaker 1: For the past seven months, zero illegal aliens have been
- 3:12Speaker 1: allowed into our country, which everyone said was absolutely impossible.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Do you remember when Joe Biden said that he needed
- 3:20Speaker 1: Congress to pass legislation to help close the border. He
- 3:25Speaker 1: was always blaming Congress and everyone else. As it turned out,
- 3:29Speaker 1: we didn't need legislation, We just needed a new president.
- 3:33Speaker 1: We inherited the worst border anywhere in the world, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: we quickly turned it into the strongest border in the
- 3:39Speaker 1: history of our country.
- 3:41Speaker 3: In other words, in a few short months, we went.
- 3:44Speaker 2: From worst to best.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Were deporting criminals, restoring safety to our most dangerous cities.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Just take a look at Washington, DC. It's at levels
- 3:55Speaker 1: of safety that we've never seen before, and made it
- 4:00Speaker 1: the blood Thursday foreign drug cartels. We did that all
- 4:05Speaker 1: by ourselves, with our people, and we're so proud of
- 4:08Speaker 1: it because they were poisoning and destroying our population. Drugs
- 4:13Speaker 1: brought in by ocean and by sea are now down
- 4:17Speaker 1: ninety four percent. We have broken the grip of sinister,
- 4:21Speaker 1: woke radicals in our schools, and control over those schools
- 4:26Speaker 1: is back now in the hands of our great and
- 4:29Speaker 1: loving States, where education belongs. After rebuilding the United States
- 4:35Speaker 1: military in my first term, and with the addition we
- 4:38Speaker 1: are adding right now, we have the most powerful military
- 4:43Speaker 1: anywhere in the world, and it's not even close. I've
- 4:47Speaker 1: restored American strength, settled eight wars in ten months, destroyed
- 4:51Speaker 1: the Iran nuclear threat, and ended the war in Gaza,
- 4:55Speaker 1: bringing for the first time in three thousand years, peace
- 4:58Speaker 1: to the Middle East. Secured the release of the hostages,
- 5:03Speaker 1: both living and dead. Here at home, we're bringing our
- 5:07Speaker 1: economy back from the brink of ruin. The last administration
- 5:11Speaker 1: and their allies in Congress looted our treasury for trillions
- 5:14Speaker 1: of dollars, driving up prices and everything at levels never
- 5:18Speaker 1: seen before. I am bringing those high prices down and
- 5:23Speaker 1: bringing them down very fast. Let's look at the facts.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Under the Biden administration, car prices rose twenty two percent
- 5:31Speaker 1: and in many states thirty percent or more. Gasoline rose
- 5:36Speaker 1: thirty to fifty percent, hotel rates rose thirty seven percent,
- 5:40Speaker 1: airfares rose thirty one percent, now under our leadership, they
- 5:44Speaker 1: are all coming down, and coming down fast. Democrat politicians
- 5:48Speaker 1: also sent the cost of grocery staring, but we are
- 5:52Speaker 1: solving that too. The price of a Thanksgiving turkey was
- 5:56Speaker 1: down thirty three percent compared to the Biden Land year.
- 6:01Speaker 1: The price of eggs is down eighty two percent since March,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and everything else is falling rapidly. And it's not done yet,
- 6:09Speaker 1: But boy, are we making progress. Nobody can believe what's
- 6:12Speaker 1: going on. Here are just some of the efforts that
- 6:15Speaker 1: we have underway. You will see in your wallets and
- 6:18Speaker 1: bank accounts in the new year. After years of record
- 6:22Speaker 1: setting falling incomes, our policies are boosting take home pay
- 6:26Speaker 1: at a historic pace. Under Biden, real wages plummeted by
- 6:31Speaker 1: three thousand dollars. Under Trump, the typical factory worker has
- 6:35Speaker 1: seen a wage increase of one thousand, three hundred dollars.
- 6:39Speaker 1: For construction workers, it's one thousand, eight hundred dollars. For
- 6:43Speaker 1: miners we're bringing back clean, beautiful coal is three thousand,
- 6:48Speaker 1: three hundred dollars. And for the first time in years,
- 6:51Speaker 1: wages are rising much faster than inflation.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Remember that the wage is just look at it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Wages are going up much faster than inflation.
- 7:03Speaker 2: How big is that?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Very importantly, there are more people working today than at
- 7:08Speaker 1: any time in American history, and one hundred percent of
- 7:12Speaker 1: all jobs created since I took office.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Have been in the private sector.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Think of that, one hundred percent of all jobs have
- 7:20Speaker 1: been in the private sector rather than government, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: the only way to make a country powerful and great.
- 7:29Speaker 1: This historic trend will continue. Already, I've secured a record
- 7:33Speaker 1: breaking eighteen trillion dollars of investment into the United States,
- 7:37Speaker 1: which means jobs, wage increases, growth, factory openings, and far
- 7:42Speaker 1: greater national security. Much of this success has been accomplished
- 7:47Speaker 1: by tariffs, my favorite word, tariffs, which for many decades
- 7:53Speaker 1: have been used successfully by other countries against US, but
- 7:57Speaker 1: not anymore. Companies know that if they build in America,
- 8:01Speaker 1: there are no tariffs, and that's why they're coming home
- 8:04Speaker 1: to the USA in record numbers. They're building factories and
- 8:08Speaker 1: plants at levels we haven't seen AI automobiles. We're doing
- 8:13Speaker 1: what nobody thought was even possible, not even remotely possible.
- 8:18Speaker 1: There has never, frankly been anything like it. One year ago,
- 8:22Speaker 1: our country was dead, We were absolutely dead. Our country
- 8:26Speaker 1: was ready to fail, totally failed now with the hottest
- 8:31Speaker 1: country anywhere in the world, and that's said by every
- 8:35Speaker 1: single leader that I've spoken to over the last five months.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Next year, you will also see the results of the
- 8:41Speaker 1: largest tax cuts in American history that were really accomplished
- 8:46Speaker 1: through our great, big, Beautiful Bill, perhaps the most sweeping
- 8:50Speaker 1: legislation ever passed in Congress. We wrapped twelve different bills
- 8:55Speaker 1: up into one beautiful bill that includes no tax on tips,
- 9:00Speaker 1: no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security
- 9:04Speaker 1: for our great seniors. Under these cuts, many families will
- 9:09Speaker 1: be saving between eleven thousand and twenty thousand dollars a year,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and next spring is projected to be the largest tax
- 9:17Speaker 1: refund season of all time because of tariffs. Along with
- 9:21Speaker 1: the just passed one Big Beautiful Bill. Tonight, I am
- 9:26Speaker 1: also proud to announce that more than one thousand, four
- 9:30Speaker 1: hundred fifty thousand, think of this, one million, four hundred
- 9:34Speaker 1: and fifty thousand military service members will receive a special
- 9:39Speaker 1: we call Warrior Dividend before Christmas, So Warrior Dividend in
- 9:45Speaker 1: honor of our nations founding in seventeen seventy six, we
- 9:49Speaker 1: are sending every soldier one thousand, seven hundred and seventy
- 9:54Speaker 1: six dollars.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Think of that, and the checks are already on the way.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Nobody understood that one until about thirty minutes ago. We
- 10:05Speaker 1: made a lot more money than anybody thought because of tariffs,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and the bill helped us along. Nobody deserves it more
- 10:11Speaker 1: than our military, and I say congratulations everybody. And by
- 10:15Speaker 1: the way, we now have record enlistment in our military,
- 10:18Speaker 1: and last year we had among the worst recruitment numbers
- 10:21Speaker 1: in our military's history. A lot of difference a year mix.
- 10:25Speaker 1: In addition, I'm doing what no politician of either party
- 10:29Speaker 1: has ever done, standing up to the special interest to
- 10:32Speaker 1: dramatically reduce the price of prescription drugs. I negotiated directly
- 10:37Speaker 1: with the drug companies and foreign nations which were taken
- 10:41Speaker 1: advantage of our country for many decades, to slash prices
- 10:44Speaker 1: on drugs and pharmaceuticals by as much as four hundred,
- 10:49Speaker 1: five hundred and even six hundred percent. In other words,
- 10:53Speaker 1: your drug costs will be plummeting downward. And I used
- 10:56Speaker 1: the threat of tariffs to get foreign countries who would
- 10:59Speaker 1: never have done it to pay the cost of this
- 11:02Speaker 1: giant dollar reduction, they stop ripping us off, and it
- 11:07Speaker 1: began as of four days ago. There has never been
- 11:10Speaker 1: anything like this in the history of our country. Drugs
- 11:13Speaker 1: have only gone up, but now they'll be going down
- 11:17Speaker 1: by numbers never conceived possible.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It's called most favored Nation.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And no president has ever had the courage or ability
- 11:26Speaker 1: to get this done until now. The first of these
- 11:29Speaker 1: unprecedented price reductions will be available starting in January through
- 11:33Speaker 1: a new website trumparx dot gov, and these big price
- 11:38Speaker 1: cuts will greatly reduce the cost of health care. I'm
- 11:42Speaker 1: also taking on the gigantic health insurance companies that have
- 11:46Speaker 1: gotten rich on billions of dollars of money.
- 11:49Speaker 2: That should go directly to the people.
- 11:51Speaker 1: The money should go to the people, that's you, so
- 11:54Speaker 1: they can buy their own health insurance, which will give
- 11:57Speaker 1: far better benefits at much less lower costs. It will
- 12:01Speaker 1: be far better health insurance. The current Unaffordable Care Act
- 12:06Speaker 1: was created to make insurance companies rich. It was bad
- 12:09Speaker 1: health care at much too higher cost. And you see
- 12:12Speaker 1: that now in the steep increase in premiums being demanded
- 12:16Speaker 1: by the Democrats. And they are demanding those increases and
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's their fault. It is not the Republican's fault. It's
- 12:23Speaker 1: the Democrat's fault. It's the Unaffordable Care Act, and everybody
- 12:28Speaker 1: knew it.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Again.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I want the money to go directly to the people,
- 12:32Speaker 1: so you can buy your own health care. You'll get
- 12:34Speaker 1: much better health care at a much lower price. The
- 12:37Speaker 1: only losers will be insurance companies that have gotten rich
- 12:41Speaker 1: in the Democrat Party, which is totally controlled by those
- 12:44Speaker 1: same insurance companies. They will not be happy, But that's
- 12:48Speaker 1: okay with me, because you, the people, are finally going
- 12:51Speaker 1: to be getting great health care at a lower cost.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Another major focus is the cost of energy. For years,
- 12:58Speaker 1: the radical left Democrats fploided the green energy scam as
- 13:03Speaker 1: an excuse to funnel many billions of dollars into their
- 13:06Speaker 1: own massive slush funds. As their energy restrictions drastically drove
- 13:10Speaker 1: up prices, and they drove them up at record levels.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Electricity cost surge thirty to one hundred percent under Biden,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and the typical family lost five thousand to ten thousand
- 13:22Speaker 1: dollars in higher energy costs.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Think of that five thousand to ten thousand.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Dollars you loss.
- 13:28Speaker 1: On day one, I declared a National Energy Emergency. Gasoline
- 13:33Speaker 1: is now under two dollars and fifty cents a gallon
- 13:36Speaker 1: in much of the country. In some states it, by
- 13:39Speaker 1: the way, just hit one dollar and ninety nine cents
- 13:43Speaker 1: a gallon. And within the next twelve months, we will
- 13:45Speaker 1: have opened one thousand, six hundred new electrical generating plants,
- 13:50Speaker 1: a record, and it's a record that won't be beaten
- 13:53Speaker 1: by practically, i would say, by anybody, or certainly not
- 13:57Speaker 1: very soon. Prices on electricity and everything something else will
- 14:00Speaker 1: fall dramatically. The Democrat inflation disaster, again the worst in
- 14:05Speaker 1: the history of our country, also robbed millions of Americans
- 14:09Speaker 1: of home ownership and indeed the American dream. The yearly
- 14:13Speaker 1: cost of a typical new mortgage increased by fifteen.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Thousand dollars under Democrat rule.
- 14:20Speaker 1: In eleven months, we've already gotten that annual cost down
- 14:24Speaker 1: by three thousand dollars, and it's coming down a lot lower. Wait,
- 14:28Speaker 1: do you see the numbers are going to be shocked.
- 14:30Speaker 1: And I'll soon announce our next Chairman of the Federal Reserve,
- 14:34Speaker 1: someone who believes in lower interest rates by a lot,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and mortgage payments will be coming down even further.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Early the new year, and you will see this. In
- 14:45Speaker 3: the new year, I will announce.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Some of the most aggressive housing reform plans in American history.
- 14:51Speaker 1: A major factor in driving up housing costs was the
- 14:54Speaker 1: colossal border invasion.
- 14:57Speaker 3: We have never been invaded.
- 14:58Speaker 1: This is the worst thing that Frankly, in my opinion,
- 15:03Speaker 1: the worst thing that the Biden administration did to our
- 15:06Speaker 1: country is the invasion at the border. The last administration
- 15:10Speaker 1: and their allies and Congress brought in millions and millions
- 15:14Speaker 1: of migrants and gave them taxpayer funded housing. While your
- 15:18Speaker 1: rent and housing costs chyrocketed, Over sixty percent of growth
- 15:22Speaker 1: in the rental market came from foreign migrants. At the
- 15:25Speaker 1: same time, illegal aliens stall American jobs and flooded emergency rooms,
- 15:30Speaker 1: getting free health care and education paid for by you,
- 15:33Speaker 1: the American taxpayer. They also increased the cost of law
- 15:38Speaker 1: enforcement by numbers so high that they are not even
- 15:41Speaker 1: to be mentioned. For the first time in fifty years,
- 15:44Speaker 1: we are now seeing reverse migration as migrants go back home,
- 15:48Speaker 1: leaving more housing and more jobs for Americans. In the
- 15:52Speaker 1: year before my election, all net creation of jobs was
- 15:56Speaker 1: going to foreign migrants. Since I took office, one hundred
- 16:01Speaker 1: percent of all net job creation has gone to American
- 16:07Speaker 1: born citizens one hundred percent.
- 16:10Speaker 3: In the end, government either.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Serves the productive, patriotic, hard work and American citizen, or
- 16:17Speaker 1: it serves those who break the laws, cheat the system,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and seek power and profit at the expense of our nation.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Look at Minnesota, where some millions have taken over the
- 16:28Speaker 1: economics of the state and have stolen billions and billions
- 16:32Speaker 1: of dollars from Minnesota and indeed from the United States
- 16:36Speaker 1: of American.
- 16:37Speaker 3: We're going to put an end to it.
- 16:38Speaker 1: For so long as before my election, the vast majority
- 16:43Speaker 1: of good and decent Americans were forced to watch as
- 16:46Speaker 1: corrupt politician plundered the halls of power, exploited our taxpayers,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and pillaged every system that makes civilized society function.
- 16:55Speaker 3: But not anymore, and you see that every day.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Not anymore.
- 17:00Speaker 1: We're putting America first, and we are making America great again.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Very simple. We are making America great again. Tonight, after
- 17:08Speaker 1: eleven months, our border is secure, inflation is stopped, wages
- 17:13Speaker 1: are up, prices are down, our nation is strong, America
- 17:17Speaker 1: is respected, and our country is back stronger than ever before.
- 17:23Speaker 1: We're poised for an economic boom. The likes of which
- 17:26Speaker 1: the world has never seen. Soon we will host the
- 17:30Speaker 1: World Cup and the Olympics, both of which I got.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But most importantly, we will celebrate the two hundred and
- 17:36Speaker 1: fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. There could be
- 17:42Speaker 1: no more fitting tribute to this epic milestone than to
- 17:46Speaker 1: complete the comeback of America that began.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Just one year ago.
- 17:52Speaker 1: When the world looks at us next year, let them
- 17:55Speaker 1: see a nation that is loyal to its citizens, faithful
- 17:58Speaker 1: to its workers, confidence to its identity, certain to its destiny,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and the envy of the entire globe. We are respected
- 18:07Speaker 1: again like we have never been respected before. To each
- 18:12Speaker 1: and every one of you, have a merry Christmas and
- 18:15Speaker 1: a happy New Year.
- 18:16Speaker 3: God bless you all.
