A Manitowoc school employee, 32-year-old Courtney Haupt, has been arrested on felony charges including grooming a 15-year-old student and sexual misconduct as a school staff member. The investigation began after a tip, revealing a pattern of predatory behavior. Though no crimes occurred on school grounds and no other students were harmed, Haupt was placed on administrative leave and is now on unpaid leave while the district investigates internally.
