We have major accomplishments and major exciting developments
• 0:04
in the and gold markets that we're going to talk about today.
• 0:07
Almost too much to cover. Take a blood pressure pill if
• 0:11
you have to, guys. This is getting very, very
• 0:14
exciting. But first, thank you for being
• 0:16
here, right? We come to Ron's basement
• 0:18
because we love to get together and talk about silver, gold, the
• 0:22
  precious metals. Welcome to everyone.
• 0:24
We have people from the crypto community that are interested in
• 0:27
learning about silver and gold. Everyone's welcome here in the
• 0:30
basement. I hope you feel like you found a
• 0:32
new home away from home. Please subscribe to the channel,
• 0:34
give the video a thumbs up, share it with everybody, your
• 0:37
  grandchildren, your grandparents.
• 0:39
But let's talk about what's happening in the silver and gold
• 0:42
market, which is extraordinary right now.
• 0:44
We've got about 6 big, big things to cover and big reasons
• 0:50
why we can continue to be optimistic.
• 0:52
First, let's take a little trip down history lane.
• 0:56
This came from our friend Make Gold Great Again.
• 0:59
We just closed out the second quarter June 30th, Monday of
• 1:04
this week. 2 days ago, Silver's quarterly close was the second
• 1:08
highest ever 36 dollars. What a finish, guys.
• 1:11
This is nothing because I got bigger, bigger news to share
• 1:14
with you next. And did we indeed break out of
• 1:17
the cup and handle pattern? You'll hear what I'm talking
• 1:20
about in just one second. Gold closed above 3300.
• 1:24
Now let's move over here to our next slide where things get even
• 1:30
more interesting. And I don't know why not as many
• 1:33
people are talking about this, but the Happy Hawaiian points
• 1:36
out to us that highest 6 month close on silver in history.
• 1:44
So just two days ago, June 30th of 2025, silver wrapped up its
• 1:50
highest 6 month close in history.
• 1:53
Now if we look at this chart, this is where it gets really
• 1:56
interesting. It's a little hard for you to
• 1:59
see, but I can draw this on there for you.
• 2:02
This is a long term chart of silver with six month candles.
• 2:06
Hold on a second. Let's see if I can make this a
• 2:08
little bit. Actually, this works better.
• 2:13
Hold on here. Let's see if we can make this a
• 2:15
little more visible for you for your viewing pleasure.
• 2:20
All right, let's try this. This shows us the six month
• 2:25
candles for silver. OK, now this is 1980.
• 2:31
OK, you can see we were at 50 or 37 dollars, $36 on the six month
• 2:39
close. This was 2011 also right around
• 2:43
  $36. That's the cup.
• 2:45
Next we have the handle and as you can see, since we just had
• 2:50
the highest close for a six month period in history, that
• 2:55
candle on a six month chart shows a breakout in the cup and
• 2:59
handle pattern. Am I imagining things?
• 3:01
No, right, it's real. Correct me if I'm wrong, but on
• 3:06
a six month candle stick based chart, we have broken out in the
• 3:11
in the silver price, in that epic cup and handle pattern.
• 3:15
We are in for some very, very, very good times ahead when it
• 3:18
comes to the silver price and the gold price as well.
• 3:22
And the big thing to remember something critical again that
• 3:26
nobody else is talking about. Remember we've been down here in
• 3:29
the basement pounding the table since $15 silver.
• 3:33
That silver, yes, can go to $60.00 by April 1st of next
• 3:37
year, OK. And one of the big, big things,
• 3:40
one of the big reasons why we can be even more optimistic
• 3:43
right now is that this increase that we've experienced in the
• 3:47
silver price, it's not been a spike.
• 3:50
It wasn't like a one time spike up event.
• 3:54
What we have experienced here over the last year, over the
• 3:57
last two years, over the last six months is a steady
• 4:02
progressive growth in the silver price, right?
• 4:05
A solid, you know, some periods of consolidation and what not,
• 4:10
but not a spike because when things spike up, what inevitably
• 4:14
happens is they come right back down.
• 4:17
This time is different. Do you feel it, do you agree
• 4:20
with it, my fellow basement dwellers?
• 4:22
Because I feel it, right? It's different this time, right?
• 4:26
Couple with that what's going on in the overall economy and
• 4:29
everything else and the the outlook for the silver price and
• 4:32
the gold price remain to be very, very optimistic.
• 4:36
And here there's more proof why we can be more optimistic about
• 4:40
what's to come. This look at some data
• 4:43
surrounding the US dollar. And when we take a look at this,
• 4:48
what we see and no uncertain terms again from Gold Telegraph.
• 4:53
Let me make this a little bigger again.
• 4:55
Sorry, guys. We're always having some
• 4:57
technical challenges here in the basement.
• 5:00
We'll get that back to 100%. There we go.
• 5:02
Breaking news. the US dollar suffers the worst start to a
• 5:07
year since 1973. Why is that important?
• 5:12
OK, the worst start to the year since the end of the gold back
• 5:15
Bretton Woods system. OK, look at that.
• 5:18
Look at what the dollar has done here over the last six months.
• 5:22
Down, down, down. And when we look at a chart of
• 5:27
the dollar, let's go take a look at the dollar right now.
• 5:30
Today, we can see that the US dollar index is at 97.
• 5:37
Remember, it was just a few weeks ago that we were talking
• 5:40
about the dollar breaking below 100.
• 5:44
And if we look at this, look at this year to date chart in the
• 5:48
US dollar, wow, I don't need to get the crayons out for you to
• 5:53
see this. But do you see what I see right
• 5:57
with the US dollar just a straight down over the last six
• 6:01
months. But that's not the important
• 6:03
part. The important part is this,
• 6:05
which tells us that we could be in for some unbelievable returns
• 6:10
in the precious metals if we go over here to 100.
• 6:14
  Wrong one. Hold on here.
• 6:17
Let's do a straight line and draw a line across at 100.
• 6:22
We're about one O 1 there, but you get the point, guys.
• 6:26
You can see right If you look, if you look right here, OK, we
• 6:36
have broken below 100. As you can see down here this
• 6:42
whole period of time and over here this whole period of time,
• 6:46
it's not unusual for the dollar to even go much lower.
• 6:50
Now what we want to look at, one more thing to look at which we
• 6:55
will look at for the next 10 years is when we go back to
• 6:59
about two thousand 2001 and go all the way out here through
• 7:05
2011, you can see the dollar went down.
• 7:09
Oh, big deal, right? No, it is a big deal because
• 7:12
during that time period, during that 10 year time period, the
• 7:16
price of silver went from about $4 all the way to $50 and the
• 7:21
price of gold went up multiple times as well.
• 7:24
So we're going to keep a close eye on the US dollar.
• 7:27
It's stagflation. We're getting more and more
• 7:30
reports. Did you hear right, GDP, first
• 7:34
quarter GDP, easy for me to say to you, but Q1 GDP has been
• 7:43
  revised lower again, right, guys?
• 7:46
The economy shrunk during the first quarter of this this year.
• 7:49
That is a stag, right? A stagnant economy or a
• 7:53
recessionary economy. And we know that inflation is
• 7:57
up. We just got PCE numbers last
• 7:59
week that were higher than expected.
• 8:02
We have a shrinking economy with inflation.
• 8:05
That is stagflation. One more quick history lesson
• 8:08
for you. The last time we had stagflation
• 8:10
was the 1970s. You were probably a young person
• 8:13
like me at that point, but nonetheless, during that period
• 8:17
the price of silver went from what, like $1.50 all the way to
• 8:20
$50? Remember, those are the two cups
• 8:23
on the cup and handle. 2011 and 1980 are the 2 rims on the cup
• 8:28
and handle and the price of gold went up, I think 20X or more.
• 8:33
That's what we're in right now. OK.
• 8:36
That is that, that, that is reason for us as precious metals
• 8:40
investors to be very, very excited about what's to come,
• 8:45
  right? We don't like it.
• 8:46
We didn't create it, but we've been awaiting a long time for
• 8:50
this day and it and this is not, we're not talking about short
• 8:53
term spikes. Remember this has been building
• 8:57
in silver and gold for that matter as well when we look at
• 9:00
the gold chart. But these are long term
• 9:04
supportive factors for the metals for possibly as long as a
• 9:07
decade, maybe longer. I have a feeling you're going to
• 9:10
be happy if you own some of this.
• 9:13
And as a matter of fact, what a great time for me to show you
• 9:16
this upstairs, Susie's favorite. That's a 5 oz silver bar from
• 9:21
our channel sponsor First Mint. First Mint makes this gold and
• 9:26
silver content possible. They're a mint in Las Vegas, NV
• 9:31
making world class silver bullion products.
• 9:34
Now, what makes them unique is that they are owned by First
• 9:37
Majestic Silver. You may have heard of Keith
• 9:40
Newmeyer, right? One of the most respected names
• 9:42
and precious metals first Majestic silver owns first mint.
• 9:47
First Majestic silver mines the silver.
• 9:50
This is the freshest silver on the market guys, right out of
• 9:53
the ground right mines it out of the mint out of the mines.
• 9:57
I'm sorry in Mexico ships it to Nevada right to the first mint
• 10:02
facilities where it's made into these world class products and
• 10:05
then it goes directly to you. It never touches the comex.
• 10:09
It never touches the LBMA. You can check them out at first
• 10:13
mint.com. Let me bring you out quickly to
• 10:15
show you their website. Here we go, right?
• 10:20
That's my favorite, the Buffalo with the Indian, they got the
• 10:23
year of the snake. These are all unique bullion
• 10:25
products. They've got great service, great
• 10:28
selection, and just as important, right, it's a company
• 10:33
owned by First Majestic. So it's a company that you can
• 10:35
  trust. Excuse me.
• 10:40
Okay, let's talk about the silver setup though one more
• 10:43
time and then we're gonna talk about gold.
• 10:45
But Gary Savage had some really interesting things.
• 10:49
Here we go to say about what is happening in silver.
• 10:52
Gary is a very, very highly respected voice in the precious
• 10:58
metal sector and here we go. He talked about the fact that
• 11:02
leading up to Monday, June 30th, the end of the second quarter,
• 11:07
the end of the first half of the year, this epic battle and how
• 11:10
important it was for silver to get above 3550.
• 11:13
Check, check, check. It did that, but listen to what
• 11:15
he says in yellow. He says this is probably the
• 11:18
best setup that we've ever had in the last 15 years to finally
• 11:25
break the suppression of the silver market.
• 11:28
The first step is to is to deny the attack today, which it did,
• 11:32
and close the month above 3550. Then silver needs to make a
• 11:37
higher high above 3750. So that's our next goal guys to
• 11:42
get up above this 37 when we get to $38 silver, Katie, bar the
• 11:47
door, OK? Once it does, the next
• 11:50
resistance. Once it does, the next
• 11:52
resistance zone is at $45.00. We're going to go from $38 to
• 11:56
$45.00 lickity split. And then we're going to go to
• 12:00
$60.00 by April 1st of next year.
• 12:03
Just my opinion. I'm not a financial advisor.
• 12:05
Don't make any financial decisions based on anything that
• 12:07
  I'm saying. Don't get engaged, adopt A
• 12:09
puppy, buy silver, buy gold, buy cryptocurrency, buy anything, do
• 12:13
anything based on anything I'm saying.
• 12:14
But I believe it to be true, and it's still a free country, so I
• 12:17
can sit down here in my basement and say it.
• 12:20
The banks will lose billions on a run to $45.00, which will
• 12:25
intensify the squeeze. One, hold on here.
• 12:30
Little technical problem. OK there we go.
• 12:33
Once we get past when we went, when you see 3/8 on the silver
• 12:38
price. OK fasten your silver seatbelts
• 12:41
boys and girls, basement dwellers because we are going to
• 12:44
be going for a fun, fun, fun ride, remember?
• 12:48
Makes me so angry, right? People say oh Ron you're a
• 12:52
silver pumper. They told me that when I was
• 12:54
silver was $15 and I said I can go to 3540 dollars.
• 12:58
I was a silver pumper. I'm still a silver pumper.
• 13:01
I believe in silver. Don't deny the the fact that we
• 13:04
could see 100 or $200 silver. Look at what happened, OK,
• 13:08
between 2001 and 2011. Look at what happened between
• 13:13
  1970 and 1980. OK, 304 hundred.
• 13:18
Do I hear 500? I've heard some people say
• 13:20
$600.00 silver. The sky is the limit.
• 13:23
Let's not sell ourselves short. This is exciting.
• 13:25
We are living in historic, historic times, right?
• 13:29
And here here's a couple reasons why, a couple more reasons.
• 13:33
I told you we had a lot to cover today, basement dwellers.
• 13:37
All right, let's go out here to the debt clock, right, right.
• 13:40
the US national debt just so we can stay up to speed.
• 13:44
It's hard to keep up with 37 trillion, $52 billion that is
• 13:49
creating follow the arrow interest on national debt of $1
• 13:53
trillion now more than what we spend on National Defense.
• 13:57
And we get nothing in return for that.
• 13:59
Right up here, right above. It's not circle, but the US
• 14:02
federal tax revenue is 5 trillion.
• 14:05
That means for every a dollar that you send to Uncle Sam with
• 14:09
your tax return, $0.20 of that dollar goes to pay interest.
• 14:14
You get nothing in return. Nonetheless, as that debt level
• 14:17
  gets bigger, interest gets bigger.
• 14:19
That makes the federal the next arrow here, right here. the US
• 14:22
federal budget deficit get bigger, right?
• 14:24
Which then makes the national debt get bigger.
• 14:26
But wait, there's more, because guess what?
• 14:29
The world is waking up and they're not real interested in
• 14:32
holding and buying our debt anymore.
• 14:34
We know China's selling a lot of our debt.
• 14:36
What that does is that makes the interest rate on the debt go up,
• 14:40
which further makes the interest on the debt, the expense,
• 14:44
interest expense on the debt go up.
• 14:47
That is why let's see here, here, let's get a different
• 14:50
  color. What do you say?
• 14:52
Because this is code red baby. That's why this cycle that we
• 14:57
just talked about between these is a big see that big, big debt
• 15:03
spiral. OK, now let's talk about
• 15:07
quickly. Is the Fed going to cut rates?
• 15:09
You guys keep asking me. I got some good news for you.
• 15:11
There's like a 95% chance that in September the Fed is going to
• 15:16
cut rates. That hold on here, get you on
• 15:19
the right screen. There you go.
• 15:21
That circle that you see in the upper left hand corner.
• 15:23
This is the CME Fed watch tool. That is for the Fed meeting, not
• 15:29
the next one, but the one after that, the mid-september 2025.
• 15:34
OK. The current rate is at 4.2, 5.
• 15:37
All right, what these, what these lines show us is that
• 15:39
there's a 71% chance the Big Blue bar in the middle, a 70%
• 15:45
chance that rates are going to get get cut by 1/4 point and
• 15:49
there's an almost 20. What is that?
• 15:51
Is that 20, 5% chance that rates are going to get cut by half a
• 15:56
percentage point? OK, there's only right here and
• 16:00
that's on the right hand side. A 5% chance that rates are going
• 16:04
to remain the same. So buckle up.
• 16:06
Buckle up, buttercup. All right, let's move on here.
• 16:11
Let's go out here make gold great again shares this one with
• 16:14
us about silver. That means the the silver I we
• 16:17
love gold, right? We absolutely love gold.
• 16:20
And then we're going to come back to this.
• 16:22
But first, Speaking of gold, I love gold, right?
• 16:26
I don't own a lot of physical gold, but I own a lot of
• 16:29
precious metal gold mining stocks, and I want to say thank
• 16:32
you right now to channel sponsor first mining gold.
• 16:35
  That's a stock I've owned for years.
• 16:38
Again, I'm not a financial planner, not giving financial
• 16:40
advice, but they also sponsor Ron's Basement.
• 16:44
Make this gold and silver content available to you.
• 16:47
First Mining Gold is a development stage company in
• 16:50
Canada. They have two huge right multi
• 16:53
million ounce gold projects in Canada, in Canada, Du Parquet in
• 16:58
Quebec and Spring Pole in Ontario.
• 17:02
And they have another project 1/3 project nobody talks a lot
• 17:06
  about. That's like almost 1,000,000
• 17:08
ounces of gold reserves. Also, the Cameron project, so
• 17:11
this is gold in the ground in Canada.
• 17:14
They're in the permitting, the development stage, OK.
• 17:17
The big gold mining producers have not been replacing their
• 17:21
reserves, OK? They're going to need to replace
• 17:24
their reserves, which could be a very good thing for a company
• 17:27
like First Mining Gold who has a lot of gold in the ground in
• 17:32
  Canada. And they're advancing, they're
• 17:34
developing the projects. You can learn more about them at
• 17:36
firstmininggold.com. And if you want to talk to a
• 17:39
real live person, right, you can you can reach out to
• 17:42
paul.morristheirdirectorofinvestorrelationspaul@firstmininggold.com. Let's go back to see what make
• 17:49
gold great again. Had to tell us.
• 17:52
And what he says is silver is dug up at 7 to one versus gold.
• 17:57
Yes, yet it's priced 91.1 by man.
• 18:01
And if that weren't bad enough, we use 80% of the silver that we
• 18:06
dig up. One more quick interesting note
• 18:09
on silver. Central banks are buying silver.
• 18:13
Central bank silver purchases what really what Russia leads
• 18:18
the smart money. This comes from Gainesville
• 18:20
coins and let's just go down here.
• 18:23
There are a couple quick points I wanted to talk about.
• 18:25
The historic announcement in in 2024, the decision to include
• 18:30
silver in state reserves represents the first crack in
• 18:34
central banking decade long silver avoidance.
• 18:37
It was part of the draft federal budget in Russia for 2025 to
• 18:42
  2027. Russia allocated almost 540
• 18:46
million U.S. dollars for precious metals purchases,
• 18:49
explicitly including silver for the first time, alongside gold,
• 18:55
platinum and Palladium. Why is it so significant?
• 18:58
Russia, the world's eighth largest silver producer at 40
• 19:02
million oz annually, appears to be leveraging its domestic
• 19:05
production as part of a broader strategy to reduce dollar
• 19:09
dependence. Well, that's a common phrase
• 19:11
we're hearing often, isn't it? Following Western sanctions,
• 19:14
industry analysts suggest this move could drive silver prices
• 19:18
up 50% within 24 months, particularly if other nations
• 19:24
follow Russia's lead. And finally, let's have some
• 19:29
fun. This is a post that I saw a
• 19:31
little move. We're going to watch movie time.
• 19:34
Remember when you were in grade school?
• 19:35
Back back when I was in grade school was a big deal.
• 19:37
When we got to watch a movie, they pulled out like an old film
• 19:40
projector. And, you know, we got excited.
• 19:43
Here's a little movie for us, only 43 seconds long, but it
• 19:46
says everything. This comes from Vince Lanchey.
• 19:49
  He's a great guy. I love Vince.

Everybody in the precious metals community loves this guy.
• 19:54
He does so much. He does a Daily Show on Arcadia
• 19:58
Economics. I know Jake from Jake's Custom
• 20:00
Parts is a big fan of Vince as well.
• 20:03
And Vince shared this awesome and he was on my show once.
• 20:08
Probably one of my favorite guest of all time.
• 20:10
Anyway, enough about Vince. We love Vince, but he put out
• 20:14
this tweet and this is great. This is what's going on think
• 20:18
about right now. In the United States, but this
• 20:20
is ancient Rome. Nero ordered us to add copper to
• 20:25
  the silver. It's just temporary.
• 20:29
  You can barely. Tell right?
• 20:32
We're paying soldiers double with half the silver.
• 20:35
Genius I'm. Keeping the pure ones.
• 20:38
Something's wrong with the new coins.
• 20:40
I see copper. This is supposed to be worth 2
• 20:42
  Dinaria. I'm charging different prices
• 20:45
for old coins now. Merchants won't take the coins,
• 20:48
it's just copper breads. 200 Denario.
• 20:51
  Run. Just executed another merchant
• 20:56
for breaking price laws. Death penalty for overcharging.
• 20:59
Rome fell today. This killed us.
• 21:03
Fake money, fake empire. Nero ordered us to add.
• 21:09
All right, guys. Hey, wow, we love that, right?
• 21:13
Does that feel like what's going on right now 300 people live
• 21:16
  joining us. Great.
• 21:17
And guess what somebody just walked into the basement.
• 21:19
I talked about Vince being somebody I really like but
• 21:21
somebody I also really like is my old friend Sean Williams,
• 21:25
said Sean, hey, welcome to the basement come on down now get
• 21:29
down. You got to see yourself put your
• 21:30
  face on there. Put.
• 21:31
  My face on. There.
• 21:32
  Yeah. Yeah.
• 21:33
So Sean's here. He wants to say hi.
• 21:35
He's been on the channel before. We're going to shoot a video,
• 21:38
but he's an author. He has a brand new book which is
• 21:41
entitled All the Wisdom in One Place.
• 21:46
Oh, there it is. He's got his book with him here.
• 21:48
Now we got to bring it up. Here's his new book, All the
• 21:51
Wisdom in One Place. You know how sometimes in life
• 21:54
you can hear one thing that completely changes the
• 21:57
trajectory of your life? I read the first 10 pages of
• 22:00
that book last night and I think I read three things.
• 22:02
So let me just since we got everybody live here, let's go
• 22:05
out and take a look at where you can check this book out on
• 22:09
Amazon. Hold on, did I share the screen?
• 22:14
Yep, there we go. OK guys on Amazon, you can check
• 22:17
it out right here. All the wisdom in one place.
• 22:20
Why is that not pulling up? Oh, here we go.
• 22:23
I got to share the tab. Here we go.
• 22:27
He's put this together and has all kinds of great insight and
• 22:31
ways that you can avoid pain in life.
• 22:33
So there you go. All the wisdom in one place.
• 22:35
Like I said, we're going to shoot a video talking about the
• 22:38
about the book right now. Most importantly, thank you for
• 22:40
being here. Thank you for being part of
• 22:42
Ron's basement. Be good to yourself.
• 22:44
Have a great day and I will look forward to seeing you next time.
• 22:48
  Bye bye.
