In this episode, I question the value of consuming success stories and self-improvement content. While these videos and books appear educational, they often require no action and can be passively consumed. As a result, people may feel productive without actually changing their behavior. I explore how “free” content still costs time, attention, and mental energy, and how modern platforms turn viewers into part of an attention economy.
