- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the Bench. We have Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where the.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Plays get broken down and science gets denied to.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Come off the bench.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Our two of Off the Bench live from the Raising
- 0:12Speaker 1: Kine Studio.
- 0:48Speaker 3: All right, welcome back. Yeah now remember two oh TV.
- 0:52Speaker 3: You're live from Raising Kine Studio. Tuesday show is brought
- 0:54Speaker 3: to you by Community Still Community Still Code dot Com.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Go to the website today. He tay Phil still preseason
- 1:02Speaker 3: All SEC Team? Is it Phiel still out?
- 1:05Speaker 2: I think it just came out.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Did it come out like digital? Maybe like if you're
- 1:09Speaker 3: like a.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Member, the hard copy comes out at July? Okay, all right?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Because I had to turn it in the All Meathead
- 1:15Speaker 3: Team and he was like pressing me about it, like hey,
- 1:19Speaker 3: we got like basically twelve minutes. I'm like, whoa, she'll Phil?
- 1:24Speaker 3: I got you? In no way? Did I have him?
- 1:27Speaker 3: God bless you. I had to really shrink it together
- 1:30Speaker 3: pretty quick, and im like, I went off where they
- 1:34Speaker 3: played last year. I said, peel my guy, if they transferred,
- 1:37Speaker 3: I ain't got that info for you right now?
- 1:38Speaker 2: Did you switch to schools?
- 1:40Speaker 3: I'll put the names, but I bring that up to
- 1:44Speaker 3: say that LSU tight en trade as Green was the
- 1:47Speaker 3: only LSU player to make Phil Steele's All SEC first team.
- 1:52Speaker 3: A little surprising. I mean, with all the people that
- 1:56Speaker 3: you've brought in, gotta bless you again, Elandra all good
- 2:01Speaker 3: and I guess you know, Sam Levitt probably not going
- 2:04Speaker 3: to beat out old MISSUS quarterback, probably not gonna happen,
- 2:09Speaker 3: So I guess that wouldn't make sense. But a little
- 2:10Speaker 3: surprise LSU didn't have a little bit more on the
- 2:13Speaker 3: first team. Not surprise trade As is there, but a
- 2:15Speaker 3: little bit surprised that they have more representation on the
- 2:18Speaker 3: first team.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Well what's even more surprising than that is unless you
- 2:23Speaker 4: only had two on the second team, neither of which
- 2:25Speaker 4: were wit Weeks. So think about that for a second.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Your two second team was Jordan Seeden and Princeville Luman.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Miellen makes sense. I mean, outside of Levitt, those were
- 2:35Speaker 4: your two biggest transfers, So I get it Weeks not
- 2:38Speaker 4: being first and second team. I understand that he's coming
- 2:41Speaker 4: off of an injury, but I don't think there's five
- 2:44Speaker 4: linebackers in the SEC better than wit Weeks, so I
- 2:48Speaker 4: probably would have put him on the second team.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But you know, I saw a little bit of this yesterday.
- 2:53Speaker 4: A lot of people criticize on the list, saying, how
- 2:54Speaker 4: can elo You only have three guys on there. Sure,
- 2:56Speaker 4: they only have three on the first and second team,
- 2:59Speaker 4: but besides Sam love it, they might actually be the
- 3:01Speaker 4: three most important players for LSU. I mean, your pass
- 3:04Speaker 4: rush was atrocious last year, so you get human Miellen.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Your offensive line sucked, you get the best life tackle
- 3:09Speaker 4: in the portal. And Matt thinks that trade As Green
- 3:12Speaker 4: could be the biggest mismatching college football. So if you
- 3:16Speaker 4: if you were to have three on this list, they
- 3:18Speaker 4: are kind of three really important spots.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree. If utilized in the right way, which
- 3:27Speaker 3: that's what we're banking on, trade As can be that.
- 3:30Speaker 3: But you have to know how to use him. You
- 3:32Speaker 3: have to know how enough on the tendencies. You got
- 3:34Speaker 3: to make sure that he does enough blocking as a
- 3:38Speaker 3: tied end to make sure that teams can't really just
- 3:43Speaker 3: game plan against one thing.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what you want to feed your best players, right.
- 3:51Speaker 5: And but we we did take a look at Old
- 3:53Speaker 5: Missus kind of stats last year how they spread the
- 3:56Speaker 5: ball around, and they spread the ball around quite a bit.
- 4:02Speaker 5: I mean they had obviously top receivers, but it wasn't
- 4:04Speaker 5: like one guy was above everybody.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So like, that's what this offense does.
- 4:08Speaker 5: And we've talked about the speed and the rapid fire
- 4:11Speaker 5: nature of this offense. It's let's go as fast as
- 4:13Speaker 5: we can, go as fast as we can. We've seen
- 4:15Speaker 5: it at practice and spring this year, like they are
- 4:18Speaker 5: being trained the receivers. Once they catch and the play's over,
- 4:23Speaker 5: you're running that ball back to the ref like they
- 4:25Speaker 5: want to go as fast as they can. What does
- 4:27Speaker 5: that do? We've talked about what that does from a
- 4:29Speaker 5: pressure standpoint on defense. It minimizes the creativity that you
- 4:35Speaker 5: can have on defense and like the different pressures, the
- 4:37Speaker 5: different looks, So it makes your defense a lot more vanilla. Yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 5: now on offense you have to be fairly vanilla as well,
- 4:44Speaker 5: but you're ready for that, Like you have different answers
- 4:47Speaker 5: to all the coverages and all the defensive sprints that
- 4:50Speaker 5: you can have. But on defense you have to be
- 4:52Speaker 5: vanilla because there's only there's eleven people out there.
- 4:54Speaker 2: There's a lot of crowd noise.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Like there's only so much you can communicate in that
- 4:58Speaker 5: small amount of time. Right, Well, what else outside of
- 5:02Speaker 5: just like pressure in making you know, pass protection easier,
- 5:06Speaker 5: easier to easier to see, easier to pick up. Well,
- 5:10Speaker 5: it also makes it pretty vanilla on who you can
- 5:12Speaker 5: double and emphasize, like you can't if you have a
- 5:17Speaker 5: tied end that's lined up left then right in the backfield,
- 5:19Speaker 5: then split out wide in the slot. Part of there's
- 5:24Speaker 5: there's only so much you can do. Like it's easy
- 5:26Speaker 5: to go out there and say we're gonna double X
- 5:28Speaker 5: yeah or double Z right or whatever it is, Like
- 5:30Speaker 5: it's easier to draw that stuff up. But when this
- 5:35Speaker 5: skuy that's six sixt' seven has really good hands, can run,
- 5:38Speaker 5: and is a mismatch physically, and he's lining up at
- 5:41Speaker 5: X one play line and up at Y another play
- 5:43Speaker 5: lined up in the backfield potentially as a full back
- 5:46Speaker 5: one play line up and ze Like when you're lining
- 5:48Speaker 5: them up and motion them all over the place, you
- 5:50Speaker 5: can't do that, especially when you're going fast. So I'm
- 5:53Speaker 5: excited to see how this Lane Kiven offense can utilize
- 5:57Speaker 5: a weapon like that because Ole miss didn't have a
- 5:59Speaker 5: weapon like this. Nobody had a weapon like this last year,
- 6:02Speaker 5: So what can they do now? I think it's easy
- 6:04Speaker 5: to fall into the trap too offensively of let's feed
- 6:09Speaker 5: in the ball, let's force the ball too, let's force
- 6:11Speaker 5: the offense. Let's you can't do that either. You just
- 6:15Speaker 5: have to put them in position. And if the defense
- 6:19Speaker 5: dictates that that's the side that we're going to read,
- 6:23Speaker 5: then yeah, great, those opportunities will come.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Like as long as you tell your.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Quarterback and you're off like as a coordinator and that
- 6:31Speaker 5: that's the experienced lane has, they're not going to fall
- 6:33Speaker 5: into that trap.
- 6:33Speaker 2: That's something like a young coach would do. They'd be like,
- 6:35Speaker 2: all right, we got.
- 6:36Speaker 5: This weapon, we got to force this ball to them.
- 6:40Speaker 5: They have to make sure they don't fall into that trap,
- 6:43Speaker 5: because that's that's when you make mistakes. And but they're
- 6:47Speaker 5: not going to. They just you put them in position,
- 6:49Speaker 5: you move them around, you make it tough. And that
- 6:51Speaker 5: tempo of the offense is really going to be a
- 6:53Speaker 5: game changer for uh, the the matchups trade has.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Is going to see.
- 6:58Speaker 3: It does feel like you're going to need some receivers
- 7:02Speaker 3: to step up and to be threats so that way
- 7:05Speaker 3: you don't fall into what you're talking about and trying
- 7:08Speaker 3: to force the ball to Green because like he's the
- 7:11Speaker 3: only one out there that's making plays. Now, the thing
- 7:13Speaker 3: about the receiver room that we don't know is who's
- 7:17Speaker 3: going to be rolling out there. Think about how many
- 7:19Speaker 3: receivers you brought in, I mean seven guys. They're gonna
- 7:24Speaker 3: be new to the program as far as you know
- 7:26Speaker 3: portal additions. They're also going to have some freshmen, so
- 7:29Speaker 3: you know Watkins and Harris and Brown and you know
- 7:32Speaker 3: Trey Wilson, Like who's it going to be. That's gonna
- 7:35Speaker 3: be very important early in the season for those guys
- 7:37Speaker 3: to be able to go out there make plays. Make
- 7:40Speaker 3: coordinators have to worry about them because all the things
- 7:43Speaker 3: we're talking about with trade as Green, they don't work
- 7:45Speaker 3: to the level that they should if you don't have
- 7:47Speaker 3: receivers on the outside doing their one to eleventh to
- 7:50Speaker 3: make sure the defense can't just say hey if we
- 7:53Speaker 3: stop fourteen, we stop LSU.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Yeah, there's just a you present a lot of challenges,
- 7:59Speaker 5: especially when you know we saw it last year in
- 8:01Speaker 5: their offense at Ole Miss with Trinidad. Especially when you've
- 8:04Speaker 5: got a quarterback. They can also move east and west
- 8:07Speaker 5: and get out and they move the pocket a lot,
- 8:10Speaker 5: so they the offense just presents a lot of challenges.
- 8:13Speaker 5: There's a lot of there's a lot of eye candy. Yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 5: there's a lot of hesitation that you put on from
- 8:20Speaker 5: a linebacker standpoint, from a down safety standpoint, because there's
- 8:23Speaker 5: a lot to look at. You got to look at play. Actually,
- 8:24Speaker 5: you got to look at all right, where's the pocket
- 8:26Speaker 5: going to be? And then where at that point, Like
- 8:30Speaker 5: then if all that checks out, then I got to
- 8:33Speaker 5: go check my coverage responsibilities. Well you got to do
- 8:36Speaker 5: all that with them snapping the ball under ten seconds
- 8:39Speaker 5: since the last guy was tackled. So it's it's it's
- 8:42Speaker 5: a lot and it presents a big challenge and we've
- 8:44Speaker 5: seen that and that's why this offense has been successful.
- 8:48Speaker 5: So you bring a guy like Sam Levin in here
- 8:51Speaker 5: to be the you know, captain, captain of the ship
- 8:56Speaker 5: out there of all of eleven, and he's athletic, and
- 9:00Speaker 5: you got a lot to worry about.
- 9:01Speaker 3: So I'm excited.
- 9:02Speaker 5: I mean like I'm excited as an understatement, I can't
- 9:05Speaker 5: wait to football season. Like I'm I'm very excited, and
- 9:10Speaker 5: I'm ticking down the days in the weeks of course,
- 9:14Speaker 5: trying to be a present father as well and a
- 9:16Speaker 5: businessman but excited for September. I gotta tell you, I
- 9:20Speaker 5: cannot wait, my God.
- 9:23Speaker 3: One of the things that when Lane wasn't here, when
- 9:27Speaker 3: Lane was at Old Miss, we talked about often is
- 9:30Speaker 3: one of the misconceptions of the offense. Because we're sitting here,
- 9:32Speaker 3: we're talking tight end, we're talking about receivers. But one
- 9:35Speaker 3: of the things that they want to do more than
- 9:37Speaker 3: anything is run the football. They want to run the football.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I mean, they just had Lacy at Old Miss, who
- 9:43Speaker 3: was one of the leading rushers in the country. This
- 9:47Speaker 3: offense is built around being able to run. If you
- 9:50Speaker 3: can't run, it doesn't work the way it has to work,
- 9:54Speaker 3: then there's holes in the offense and you can't run
- 9:57Speaker 3: it as smoothly and as effectively as you want to,
- 10:00Speaker 3: and every run is up. We talk about that often.
- 10:03Speaker 3: A lot of diversity in the run game, not just
- 10:05Speaker 3: inside zone like it has been here in the past.
- 10:08Speaker 3: It's a little bit of everything sprinkled in. So going
- 10:11Speaker 3: back to the running back position, all right, you've got
- 10:14Speaker 3: Harlem Barry, you got Kayden Durham, you've got Dylan Jones,
- 10:17Speaker 3: three guys you feel good about. It's also going to
- 10:20Speaker 3: be on Sam Levitt Sam Levin is gonna have to
- 10:23Speaker 3: be one of the things in this run game that
- 10:25Speaker 3: works for you. That's why you go out and that's
- 10:29Speaker 3: why you bring in Longstreet. That's why you bring in
- 10:31Speaker 3: Clark two to protect that call the plays like you
- 10:36Speaker 3: want to call them, knowing that you've got a quarterback
- 10:39Speaker 3: in Land and Clark that's got a lot of starts
- 10:40Speaker 3: under his belt at a different level, but he's got
- 10:43Speaker 3: starting experience. And then you bring in Longstreet because he
- 10:46Speaker 3: is somebody that is the potential guy. But you go
- 10:49Speaker 3: get two other quarterbacks out of the portal because this
- 10:52Speaker 3: offense also needs Sam Leapt to be a runner.
- 10:54Speaker 5: I mean, that's how this offense goes, Like, Hey, that's
- 10:58Speaker 5: part of the threat. That's part of the eye can,
- 11:00Speaker 5: that's part of the always keeping the defense on their heels,
- 11:02Speaker 5: always keeping him guessing because you have that threat. Certainly,
- 11:06Speaker 5: and Lane's done. I mean, he stays doing a good
- 11:10Speaker 5: job recruiting quarterbacks, Like I don't know how he gets
- 11:12Speaker 5: all these quarterbacks in the portal, Like these are guys
- 11:16Speaker 5: that are highly thought of, ye could go and potentially
- 11:19Speaker 5: be starters, And I mean he did at Old Miss.
- 11:22Speaker 5: He's getting these highly recruited guys out of high school
- 11:24Speaker 5: that seemingly should be transferring to start, but he's getting
- 11:28Speaker 5: him to be backups.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Good for him.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Running back rotation something we'll get into more as well
- 11:35Speaker 3: as we get closer to the season. Obviously, Harlan Barry
- 11:38Speaker 3: gonna be a sophomore. Kaden Durham comes back in his
- 11:40Speaker 3: junior year, but it has transferred. Dylan Jones. They got
- 11:43Speaker 3: a lot of people excited in the spring and again
- 11:47Speaker 3: for this offense to work at its highest peak, it's
- 11:51Speaker 3: got to go through the running game. Because we'll give
- 11:53Speaker 3: you some numbers. That's just what this offense is. I
- 11:57Speaker 3: know they go fast. I know a lot of people
- 11:59Speaker 3: here know huddle tempo. They think Mike Leach all right,
- 12:03Speaker 3: they think air ray. That is not what this is.
- 12:06Speaker 3: And we'll break some of that down throughout the show.
- 12:08Speaker 3: We'll take a break now, more OTB when we come
- 12:10Speaker 3: back here live from the Raisin Knees Studio. Off the bench,

- 14:39Speaker 3: Welcome back in oh TB. Tuesday's brought to you by
- 14:44Speaker 3: Community Still Community still co dot com. Little World Cup update.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Talked about it earlier teasday earlier. France takes care of
- 14:54Speaker 3: Rock three nil. Norway takes down Senegal three to two.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Great match. Algeria takes down Jordan two to one in
- 15:03Speaker 3: the nightcap after Jordan was up one nil. Look like
- 15:07Speaker 3: an upset was brewing.
- 15:08Speaker 7: I didn't know Jordan played soccer.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Uh yeah, whole country does crazy. Algeria said, not so fast.
- 15:13Speaker 3: They scored two goals, one in the sixty ninth one
- 15:16Speaker 3: in the eighty second. Nice. Argentina wins to Nilo over Austria.
- 15:24Speaker 3: And we got a text message from one of our
- 15:27Speaker 3: friends here in the room, and I believe it said
- 15:32Speaker 3: that Messi was messy after he missed the penalty kick. Ye.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Actually there was a type of I typed. I said,
- 15:40Speaker 5: I'm supposed to say messy, more like missy. H miss
- 15:45Speaker 5: penalty kick like an idiot.
- 15:47Speaker 3: He did, and then he came back and he scored
- 15:49Speaker 3: two goals after having three goals. And yeah, so five
- 15:52Speaker 3: goals so far?
- 15:53Speaker 2: That does he.
- 15:54Speaker 9: Have like all of the goals that Argentina has, So
- 15:56Speaker 9: he's got five.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I think I think he does.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I got watching these games, like why letting that
- 16:01Speaker 5: little guy run around like that?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Knock him over? Just push him down, push him down.
- 16:07Speaker 5: It's a little Yeah, and it was pretty bad. It
- 16:09Speaker 5: was a pretty bad penalty kick. Let's be honest, guys,
- 16:12Speaker 5: I don't.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Even know why that. Well, it is funny though. He
- 16:16Speaker 3: was catching a lot of a lot of strays because
- 16:18Speaker 3: he's MLS player. Now it's just six World Cup. He's old,
- 16:22Speaker 3: he's washed, and he's like, okay, I've got fives.
- 16:26Speaker 7: He's like, I'm messy, we need to try.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty good then.
- 16:31Speaker 3: And Bope, Holland and Messy have all had all had.
- 16:35Speaker 7: Two goals, and Bope who and Messy Holland Holland.
- 16:39Speaker 3: They've all had two goals Norway Norway and they've had
- 16:44Speaker 3: it in both games. They've had at least two goals.
- 16:47Speaker 3: And if you would have placed ten dollars on it
- 16:49Speaker 3: the first time, and then taken that winnings and put
- 16:53Speaker 3: it on the second time. Ten dollars would have brought
- 16:55Speaker 3: back three point four million.
- 16:57Speaker 7: Shut up, why didn't you tell me.
- 16:59Speaker 3: To do that?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Two goals apiece?
- 17:01Speaker 3: So two goals that's a lot in a World Cup match.
- 17:04Speaker 3: So they did it in the first game they played. Okay,
- 17:07Speaker 3: so you win that money, You take all that winnings
- 17:10Speaker 3: and you put it on it to happen again, and
- 17:13Speaker 3: you would have won ten dollars then would have turned
- 17:15Speaker 3: into three point four million. Oh why can't I have
- 17:23Speaker 3: one of those?
- 17:25Speaker 7: What am I doing with my life? I need to
- 17:27Speaker 7: just start gambling.
- 17:28Speaker 3: One of those.
- 17:28Speaker 2: You always see it on Instagram during football seasons, a great,
- 17:31Speaker 2: great financial plan.
- 17:32Speaker 7: I just need to start gambling.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we know a guy at Lubbock that can help
- 17:36Speaker 2: you out. Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 4: You always see on like bleacher Report or something like
- 17:40Speaker 4: during the college football season and it's like this guy
- 17:42Speaker 4: plays the twenty four leg parlay and it was impossible
- 17:46Speaker 4: to hit, but it hit and he won like five
- 17:47Speaker 4: million dollars. I'm like, why do I see that every year?
- 17:50Speaker 4: And it's never me every year? I mean, there is
- 17:53Speaker 4: every every football season. There's one where it's like this
- 17:55Speaker 4: guy did a thirty two leg parlay in the NFL
- 17:58Speaker 4: and hit it all.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And how many thirty two like parlays you play?
- 18:04Speaker 9: Uh?
- 18:04Speaker 2: None? Well, see you gotta putt that's straight your hat
- 18:07Speaker 2: in the ring.
- 18:07Speaker 3: That's thirty five is the limit? Or twenty five of me?
- 18:12Speaker 3: Sorry most sports books?
- 18:14Speaker 5: You get it, Jakeyeah, I'm saying saying, that's a really
- 18:18Speaker 5: random bet.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Did anybody place that bet? Really random bet?
- 18:20Speaker 3: I don't. I don't know if they did. And then
- 18:22Speaker 3: to parlay it with three stars, So if it's going
- 18:25Speaker 3: to be played like, it's not like three guys that
- 18:29Speaker 3: casual soccer fans would even a cash.
- 18:31Speaker 2: So you say you had to do all three of
- 18:32Speaker 2: them to do that?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, so you do all three to score
- 18:36Speaker 3: two plus goals, and they've done it every game so far.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I trust Messi and Mbob for sure.
- 18:41Speaker 5: I actually did I place that bet, but I actually
- 18:45Speaker 5: placed them to get Tube and Messy to have three
- 18:48Speaker 5: in the first two games.
- 18:50Speaker 3: M idiot, So again you're not following what the bet was.
- 18:55Speaker 2: What would you have gotten?
- 18:56Speaker 5: So I changed it? Okay, that's the score three the
- 18:59Speaker 5: umba to score two if they.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Would have just hit it on the first leg, Jake
- 19:03Speaker 4: like he because you said he bets it, you take
- 19:04Speaker 4: that money, put it on it happened again. How much
- 19:07Speaker 4: do you make if it just happens once like and
- 19:08Speaker 4: you and you don't play that second bet.
- 19:10Speaker 5: I would guess, now, I don't know this, we can
- 19:12Speaker 5: do it mad this probably like around two two or
- 19:14Speaker 5: three grand.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I would guess something something of that of that nature.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I'm trying to I'm trying to figure out who would
- 19:26Speaker 3: actually put two thousands so want it to happen again.
- 19:31Speaker 3: If you do that, you're you're big baller status already.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Let's see, let's see it had been like it would
- 19:39Speaker 5: have been like thirty like twenty something thousand.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I believe well, I mean again, those stars like you're
- 19:48Speaker 3: not going to get that. You're not going to get
- 19:49Speaker 3: the odds that I think you think you're going to get.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Like I'm sitting here and I'm looking at it right now,
- 19:56Speaker 3: you'd have to probably somewhere like in the plus seven
- 20:06Speaker 3: thousand plus eight thousand range the first time. Actually, so
- 20:08Speaker 3: it's a little bit lesser odds than we think it
- 20:10Speaker 3: would have.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see, Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Trying to do the math there, did y'all see it's
- 20:18Speaker 5: about five it's a little over five thousand, Okay, No.
- 20:22Speaker 9: Never I was gonna change this. So I was gonna
- 20:23Speaker 9: like say something while you were doing that. But you
- 20:25Speaker 9: did that faster than ever or then I thought you
- 20:27Speaker 9: were going to.
- 20:29Speaker 7: So never mind.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Messi would have had hat trick in back to back
- 20:33Speaker 3: games if he scored three scored.
- 20:36Speaker 2: He wasn't, missy, missy.
- 20:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what Messi is known for.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Choking.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, what's he ever done?
- 20:48Speaker 2: Uh?
- 20:49Speaker 3: So today we do have Portugal, Uzbekistan, England and Ghana,
- 20:54Speaker 3: Panama and Croatia, Colombia and Congo d R.
- 21:02Speaker 9: Which one's gonna be like the most exciting one there?
- 21:05Speaker 9: Panama and Croatia.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I mean Croatia's minus two oh five, Columbia's minus one
- 21:10Speaker 3: eighty five, England's minus five twenty five, and Portugal's minus
- 21:14Speaker 3: seven hundred. Oh wow, cap Yeah, who.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Is Portugal play?
- 21:23Speaker 3: I beg that right.
- 21:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna bet the tie draw, bet the tie draw
- 21:30Speaker 5: bet the Neil Neil Neil Neil.
- 21:34Speaker 3: England.
- 21:35Speaker 8: England gets overinflated lines like Ingland chokes all the time
- 21:42Speaker 8: and they just get these crazy lines like minus five
- 21:45Speaker 8: twenty five.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Ghana won their first game. That might be one you
- 21:51Speaker 3: want to place a draw on.
- 21:55Speaker 7: England and Ghana.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Know they played Panama, but I mean Ghana, I don't know,
- 22:00Speaker 3: been a Gunna tie. He felt good about that. He
- 22:07Speaker 3: left to stand up on that one.
- 22:10Speaker 2: That was a mic drop situation.

- 25:01Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, yeah, sorry, yeah, I was just feeling my guest,
- 25:08Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because like I learned that song the State
- 25:12Speaker 5: song with a rhythm and it was yeah, it was
- 25:14Speaker 5: with a rhythm, so I was trying to say it
- 25:16Speaker 5: without the rhythm.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I was jamming's feeling it vibing?
- 25:21Speaker 3: Is that what you call it?
- 25:22Speaker 2: What I call it?
- 25:24Speaker 10: OTB Melbay, I help this special delivery for and look
- 25:30Speaker 10: it is marked most urgent writing you the internet?
- 25:34Speaker 3: What the is the internet?
- 25:45Speaker 9: Someone sent us a parlay to the text line, Yeah, okay,
- 25:48Speaker 9: what is it?
- 25:48Speaker 7: Okay, So he gave.
- 25:49Speaker 9: Us Ghana goal line, Portugal goal line, Croatia goal line,
- 25:54Speaker 9: and the Columbia goal line. Ghana plus two and a half,
- 25:57Speaker 9: Portugal minus two and a half, Croatia minus one and
- 26:01Speaker 9: a half in Colombia minus zero point five.
- 26:05Speaker 3: All right, So that's Colombia to win. That's Croatia to
- 26:10Speaker 3: win by two goals. Right, they hear you right.
- 26:14Speaker 7: Said one and a half.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so win by two okay?
- 26:16Speaker 7: Oh yeah, true?
- 26:17Speaker 3: And then you had Ghana to cover the spread, yeah
- 26:21Speaker 3: two and a half plus two and a half. Yeah
- 26:23Speaker 3: you port you go to win by two goals three
- 26:26Speaker 3: two and a half? Oh all right, minus two and
- 26:32Speaker 3: a half Columbia money line. That's what you had, Like
- 26:36Speaker 3: some of these these matches, like that's what you have
- 26:39Speaker 3: to do. Obviously, you have to you gotta give. You
- 26:42Speaker 3: gotta give a little if you want anything that if.
- 26:46Speaker 5: You want to win, and now our bet win over
- 26:48Speaker 5: three million, you gotta give them.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That takes a long shot.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Oh gosh, why can't we hit this. I'm trying to
- 26:56Speaker 3: find the Okay, so the spread you've gone plus two
- 27:01Speaker 3: and a half where's your goal minus two and a
- 27:04Speaker 3: half and so many goals?
- 27:06Speaker 2: A lot lost it he's gonna get benched. It's a lot.
- 27:10Speaker 3: So the odds on that plus one thousand basically a
- 27:15Speaker 3: little bit over a thousand. So to now I met
- 27:18Speaker 3: when Joe hundred So Columbia, Croatia minus a goal and
- 27:25Speaker 3: a half, Ghana plus two and a half, Portugal minus two.
- 27:28Speaker 2: And a half.
- 27:30Speaker 3: What your goal gotta win by three? Ghana's got to
- 27:31Speaker 3: lose by two or less. Croatia's gotta win by two
- 27:34Speaker 3: if plummey just has to win.
- 27:36Speaker 9: I have a couple of questions on the text line.
- 27:38Speaker 9: If y'all want to hit these first?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Okay, go ahead?
- 27:40Speaker 7: Okay? From Stone in Northwest Arkansas. Stone's a great name.
- 27:45Speaker 9: How many LSU wide receivers return after next season? With
- 27:49Speaker 9: so many new wide receivers coming in this class.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Let's see Brown Brown's a senior, Jackson Harris is a
- 27:57Speaker 3: rich shirt junior, Trey Brown's a junior, Trey Wilson's a junior.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I think I think sophomore.
- 28:10Speaker 4: I think Winston Watkins will be back. He's a true sophomore.
- 28:12Speaker 7: True.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Uh, not a lot, not a lot. Ston not a lot,
- 28:16Speaker 3: because they are all like either seniors or richer juniors,
- 28:20Speaker 3: and they're probably gonna be one and done, and that's
- 28:22Speaker 3: gonna be probably a common theme. And you're gonna get
- 28:25Speaker 3: studs from Louisiana. They are gonna be high school players,
- 28:27Speaker 3: and they'll mix in with whoever you bring in every
- 28:30Speaker 3: single year. And that's the way it's gonna be.
- 28:34Speaker 9: The person that sent us the parlay said Portugal's midfield
- 28:37Speaker 9: is gonna run wild, and probably so.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I think I'm still expecting you get better odds same
- 28:43Speaker 3: when you're giving up. I mean two and a half
- 28:48Speaker 3: plus one five Croatia mightus one ask plus one thirty.
- 28:52Speaker 3: We'll see, I mean ten bucks in a hundreds, not bad,
- 28:55Speaker 3: it's on a bad day at the office. We'll see
- 28:59Speaker 3: if that works out.
- 29:00Speaker 9: And then I have another one OTV mail bag. Can
- 29:04Speaker 9: flan name fifteen of the forty four European nations?
- 29:09Speaker 7: Yeah, I can do it without moving your hands?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Is there forty four?
- 29:15Speaker 7: I can fact check that. I don't know.
- 29:17Speaker 2: That's a lot, right, I mean Europe's pretty nations. That's
- 29:21Speaker 2: a lot.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Do you think that?
- 29:22Speaker 7: Well, there's a bunch of tiny little countries.
- 29:24Speaker 2: And yeah, you got like there's a Luxembourg. That's like
- 29:27Speaker 2: you think, size the road.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Without moving my hands. I can't do anything without moving
- 29:31Speaker 5: my hands.
- 29:32Speaker 9: There are forty four sovereign states in Europe according to
- 29:35Speaker 9: the United Nations. The count can based on geographic borders
- 29:40Speaker 9: and political definitions. The count can range between forty four
- 29:43Speaker 9: and fifty one.
- 29:44Speaker 2: All right, you mean to do it now?
- 29:47Speaker 7: Well, do you think you can name fifteen out of
- 29:49Speaker 7: forty four?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Yea real quick? Give me fifteen Ireland, Northern Ireland.
- 29:54Speaker 7: That's so funny because he said, I bet. The first
- 29:56Speaker 7: one he says is.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Ireland Cities, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England. We're going to Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Uh, Finland, Denmark, Norway.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Oh question, that's Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia and.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Serbian her Yeah, you nailed up.

- 32:31Speaker 3: or show hayy not.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Lebron Gretzky is the most, like undisputed greatest in his sport,
- 32:38Speaker 4: but Messi made the most money.
- 32:40Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go with Messi.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Because like he's from Argentina, so he's played there, He's
- 32:46Speaker 3: played in Spain, he's played in France, he's now playing
- 32:48Speaker 3: in the United States. He has gotten to travel truly
- 32:51Speaker 3: see the world. He's played in six World Cups. He is,
- 32:56Speaker 3: in my opinion, the goat of soccer, and that is
- 32:59Speaker 3: when you're the of that sport, they've played it for
- 33:02Speaker 3: a long time in every country plays soccer, so like
- 33:05Speaker 3: when you're the goat of that sport, you're truly the goat,
- 33:08Speaker 3: like world champion type goat. Because every country plays soccer. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 3: Messi's the answer.
- 33:13Speaker 2: He's made it.
- 33:14Speaker 4: He made a lot of money, missy, So I'm going

- 35:17Speaker 2: any like handcut, I get a hand cut fry. Okay,
- 35:21Speaker 2: so we'll see a little bit of the skin a
- 35:23Speaker 2: little bit, but you can tell what a hand like
- 35:24Speaker 2: cut was.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Go south. The pre k assistant teacher would just offer
- 35:30Speaker 3: her cake.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Okay, there you go. What does that mean? Though?
- 35:34Speaker 3: I don't know that's what I'm just reading the comments
- 35:36Speaker 3: Bud like up here, I.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Think you should use that line to get the cake
- 35:43Speaker 4: you want.
- 35:44Speaker 2: That's true. It's like a backfire on him. She would
- 35:46Speaker 2: have got me that cake. Maybe I'll call her up
- 35:52Speaker 2: see if she'll get me one.
- 35:53Speaker 3: That's gonna go.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Well, she can't get mad at him on his birthday.
- 35:58Speaker 2: It's the ya, it is the rules. What are you
- 36:03Speaker 2: going for your birthday? Yesterday?
- 36:05Speaker 3: Somebody's talking about rolls and the chat. How many times
- 36:08Speaker 3: when we lived at West Campus did you.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Go over there a lot juicy coo?
- 36:15Speaker 3: Because like there was it was that, and it was
- 36:17Speaker 3: the canes right to the left of it. It was
- 36:20Speaker 3: like that little corridor right there. Blockbuster Video is across
- 36:24Speaker 3: the street, Double made, double cheese at Shrimp Yeah, go
- 36:28Speaker 3: get go get a meal. And then Blockbuster was where
- 36:30Speaker 3: Chipotle is now the Blockbuster.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Go buy you a three dollars DVD. We hit a
- 36:37Speaker 2: Blockbuster so much growing up.
- 36:39Speaker 3: A little five dollars Ben, five dollars Ben.
- 36:42Speaker 2: We had run right in the middle of town. Now
- 36:44Speaker 2: I think it's a dialysis place.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Yeah, so those are important too, equally important. Wonder when
- 36:54Speaker 5: that Blockbuster stock is gonna hip.
- 36:58Speaker 4: You can buy it lower right now goodbye. I mean
- 37:01Speaker 4: it's never been lower something. Dozy place fries government really
- 37:09Speaker 4: good hashtag.
- 37:11Speaker 3: They had a doze inside the Margaritaville and they had
- 37:16Speaker 3: a doze in there, same same situation. What do you'll
- 37:19Speaker 3: think of? Yeah, same dose dose place. Who do you'all
- 37:22Speaker 3: think when you think dose?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Charlie, Charlie, Charlie and Jimmy.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Matter of fact, today I picked up a burger there
- 37:29Speaker 4: from lunch last week.
- 37:31Speaker 2: They were in there.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's Charlie might get a burger from
- 37:34Speaker 3: there today. I went into last week two weeks ago
- 37:40Speaker 3: or whatever, because you know, Katie and we went in there,
- 37:45Speaker 3: and I hear Charlie and I look over. It's hot.
- 37:48Speaker 3: They're on their I'm like, show is.
- 37:51Speaker 2: So good to get lunch?
- 37:54Speaker 7: You got to go they you know, they have issues
- 37:57Speaker 7: with their like I heard.
- 38:00Speaker 3: So I came down. I came down the stairs the
- 38:02Speaker 3: other day and I heard Handy's voice. And if you
- 38:04Speaker 3: hear Handy in this building, something's probably not good because
- 38:08Speaker 3: he's here, Like it didn't come here unless he like
- 38:11Speaker 3: something was happening and he was having some issues and
- 38:13Speaker 3: he was trying to explain it. And I didn't understand
- 38:15Speaker 3: the way he was trying to explain it, and I'm like,
- 38:18Speaker 3: good luck with this. It was like a technical issue.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I don't I don't feel like you've got a good
- 38:24Speaker 3: grasp on how to fix this.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Did we get a fix though?
- 38:26Speaker 9: I said, I can't help you because I don't know
- 38:29Speaker 9: what your setup is, but I will go out there
- 38:31Speaker 9: and help you at some point. So I went to
- 38:33Speaker 9: Mike Anderson's to go help them, and they're just like
- 38:37Speaker 9: they just cracked me up.
- 38:38Speaker 3: So, I mean, handy and out during COVID, like we
- 38:41Speaker 3: were together, like that's that's who. We did the show together,
- 38:44Speaker 3: and we used to do it. I forget where it was,
- 38:48Speaker 3: maybe Sammy's maybe rip.
- 38:51Speaker 7: I know it was random.
- 38:55Speaker 3: I think we but like when a technical issue would
- 38:57Speaker 3: happen and it would reak out, I was.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Like, okay, let me set it.
- 39:02Speaker 9: I was like, let me get in here, and he's like,
- 39:04Speaker 9: I don't want to mess with it right now, and
- 39:06Speaker 9: I was like, okay, well, I can't help you, I think.
- 39:10Speaker 7: But they got it figured it out.
- 39:11Speaker 2: What about a little while should we do it?
- 39:15Speaker 7: I was like, bro, I came out.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Here in the ring, not right now, but like next break,
- 39:23Speaker 2: like the River.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yes, you said it, man, you said, all all right,
- 39:32Speaker 3: now we got Fried talking the chat. Golly, I'm yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 3: really I like this this breakfast. It was like a
- 39:39Speaker 3: I'm looking brow hungry to then, well because you're like
- 39:44Speaker 3: doing a ninja flip.
- 39:46Speaker 2: So that's true.
- 39:46Speaker 7: And he took all your cards.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Hungry like a hostage.
- 39:52Speaker 3: All right, we will step away. We've got our guy,
- 39:54Speaker 3: Nick Underhill. New one stuff football said to joon Us
- 39:56Speaker 3: in about fifteen minutes from now to break down the
- 39:58Speaker 3: New Orleans Saints. You're getting close to that time where
- 40:02Speaker 3: players and coaches and all the front office goes on
- 40:05Speaker 3: that one last vacation before you come back and you
- 40:10Speaker 3: shut the door, you lock it and throw away the
- 40:12Speaker 3: key known as training camp and looking forward to the
- 40:15Speaker 3: conversation as always with our guy Nick Underhill. More OTB
- 40:18Speaker 3: won't come back here live from the Raisin King Studio,
- 40:21Speaker 3: off the bench or go to fabt dot com. Fabt

- 41:39Speaker 1: Show presented by Community Seal.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Sorry I can, I'll get there.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Here's your.
- 42:08Speaker 3: All right, Welcome back. Gain OTB talked about Joannics got
- 42:12Speaker 3: traded and kind of in the middle of the night
- 42:14Speaker 3: if you're a laundras in the.
- 42:16Speaker 7: Middle of the night to the heat eleven pm.
- 42:19Speaker 3: You know, not the only movement in the NBA. Julius Randall,
- 42:23Speaker 3: former Pelican and Nick gets traded to the Nets from
- 42:27Speaker 3: the Minnesota Timberwolves. And the NBA is so funny because
- 42:32Speaker 3: there is a there's a player on the Wolves that
- 42:35Speaker 3: nobody would know his name, don't even really know how
- 42:38Speaker 3: to pronounce it. Taylor probably does signs of five year,
- 42:42Speaker 3: one hundred and twelve million dollar deal.
- 42:48Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's top tier NFL money, That's.
- 42:50Speaker 3: What I'm saying. Like those are and look, I know,
- 42:56Speaker 3: fifteen and fifty threes different, right because the number of
- 43:01Speaker 3: players you have on your team. But like that's the
- 43:04Speaker 3: thing that makes NFL players mad by far, without question,
- 43:09Speaker 3: the most popular sport in our country. Right, and you've
- 43:15Speaker 3: got all right, let's see, let mean, let me do
- 43:18Speaker 3: some some quick math here. Twenty two point four million
- 43:22Speaker 3: per year. That's not you know, it's like a little
- 43:27Speaker 3: bit under like Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold.
- 43:30Speaker 7: May and it's somebody did you say their name?
- 43:35Speaker 4: I'm not even good I Yo Desumu, yeah him, I
- 43:39Speaker 4: believe it is how you say that.
- 43:40Speaker 3: I mean I know who he is just because of
- 43:42Speaker 3: the card game, but no.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Clue, no, But I mean he's not a high perfect guy.
- 43:46Speaker 4: He's a six or four guard. Like he's a good player,
- 43:49Speaker 4: but there's nothing like uber impressive about him.
- 43:53Speaker 3: A huge deal five years, one hundred and twelve million dollars.
- 43:57Speaker 3: And I ain't hate you, good on you.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Good old man, but it does it makes it makes
- 44:02Speaker 5: football players mad. But there's only so much money out there, right,
- 44:06Speaker 5: you can't like NFL.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Salary that it's it's you have a sour cab. Yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 3: it's one thing. But they're just now getting to where
- 44:15Speaker 3: you're getting guaranteed contracts. And look, this is is this
- 44:17Speaker 3: a bitter football player? Take absolutely? It is absolutely, Like
- 44:25Speaker 3: but I was very fortunate to start most of my
- 44:28Speaker 3: time in the NFL, and and like, I know the
- 44:32Speaker 3: position I play, But he's gonna make more after dribbling
- 44:37Speaker 3: the ball at the court than I made.
- 44:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and that does it is it's easy to compare
- 44:43Speaker 5: like that. It's a guarantee contract thing that makes football
- 44:49Speaker 5: players mad, not necessarily like getting best seventh or eighth
- 44:52Speaker 5: man making ten to twenty million dollars because like that,
- 44:56Speaker 5: that's frustrating. Yeah, but there's not many of them, right,
- 44:59Speaker 5: there's more opper tunity out there to be a professional
- 45:01Speaker 5: football player and there is a professional basketball player. Right,
- 45:04Speaker 5: there's the salary cap is almost a double a NFL
- 45:07Speaker 5: SADA caps almost a double what an NBA salary cap is.
- 45:10Speaker 3: But you can go over and play you know, luxury
- 45:12Speaker 3: tacks and different things.
- 45:14Speaker 2: See, I don't I don't understand all that.
- 45:16Speaker 3: But and then you know there's there's more leagues. There's
- 45:21Speaker 3: because again going back to like what we're talking about
- 45:23Speaker 3: with soccer. For football, there's I mean, yeah, the UFL now,
- 45:27Speaker 3: but there's there's one league.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Basketball. Come on back to college too. That's true, just
- 45:35Speaker 5: right stuff going on there in the the old.
- 45:37Speaker 3: N b A Saint the Pelicans do anything.
- 45:42Speaker 2: They might like.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Good takes looks like Trey Murphy though, might be if they.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Trade Trey Murphy for John Moran they deserve.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Well that's one thing, right, because everybody says they need
- 45:54Speaker 4: better shooting. Trey Murphy is a better shooter than John Moran,
- 45:57Speaker 4: at least on the court. Off the court, different story, Uh,
- 46:00Speaker 4: but it's either that or they're trying to trade for
- 46:03Speaker 4: a top ten pick as well. But either way, if
- 46:07Speaker 4: they pull off either one of those moves, it does
- 46:08Speaker 4: seems like Trey Herb. But maybe both could be part
- 46:11Speaker 4: of it, which I don't like.
- 46:13Speaker 3: And they get like, well, we try to do it
- 46:15Speaker 3: this way and it didn't work. I get that, But
- 46:16Speaker 3: also I don't think you want I don't think you
- 46:19Speaker 3: want him as a player because right now his his
- 46:23Speaker 3: value is not exactly at its peak. All right, Nick,
- 46:26Speaker 3: on here, when we come.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Back off the bench, I go to buy you.
