- 0:36[SPEAKER_14]: What's up, Browns fans?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_14]: Welcome back to another episode of The Dog's podcast, Josh, all thank you guys for tuning into the voicemail of Victory.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_14]: Voicemail show yesterday, and like I said at the end of that one, I only got through like half of them.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_14]: So today we're keeping the theme or rolling along.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_14]: Victory Tuesday's screw.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_14]: We had been waiting for so long.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_14]: to have a good team, a winning football team, and Cleveland to get excited about.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_14]: So let's just victory every day while we have the opportunity to do it.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_14]: As we move forward here in the season, Browns, of course, three and one set at the top of the AFC North.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_14]: Just stuff that we were not expecting to happen here.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_14]: I saw Bleach report released.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_14]: They're week five power rankings in the Browns come in at number 12 on the list top half of the team.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_14]: Pretty different from when everybody was ranking the Browns either what 30th or 31st.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know if we were ever dead last in the power rankings this year because there are some pretty bad teams, Dolphins Titans, but I'm telling you guys right now, nobody had faith.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_14]: in your Cleveland Browns, including me, which is why I'm so excited that they are proving me wrong.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_14]: Todd Munkin is showing that no week one was the outlier week one was the fluke, at least through the first quarter of the season, that's how we can look at this because we've had four games, three of them been pretty good for the Browns, one not so good at all.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_14]: Just a great time, man.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_14]: I want to continue getting through your voice mails from Thursday night, reacting to that big Thursday night football win over the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers, such a great time to be a Browns fan.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_14]: Just enjoy it, everybody.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_14]: And I'm going to shut up.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_14]: I just want to dive into these voice mails before I do.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_14]: Join the docs.com, head over there, join the discord.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_14]: Get in there, hang out with the diehard Browns fans from around the world.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_14]: It's a great place to be best place to be.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_14]: especially on game days and now that the Browns are winning games, my goodness, the vibes are just a little bit different than what they've been in the past.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_14]: So, that's enough about that.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_14]: Let's kick it into the voicemails.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_12]: Hey, boys, it's Chevy.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_12]: Three in one.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_12]: Hell, yes, man.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_12]: Oh my God, that was something else.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_12]: I was only able to listen to the game
- 2:56[SPEAKER_12]: but it sounded like one hell of a game, and it was, it was awesome.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_12]: Andry Schmidt, God, I love you.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_12]: It was, three and one.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_12]: Top of the AFC North.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_12]: For the first time since I've been watching The Browns.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_12]: Let's go brownies.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 3:16[SPEAKER_14]: Thanks for the voicemail, Shivvy.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_14]: That was really great, man.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_14]: I can feel your excitement.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_14]: It really sound like a shivvy was either still at work and trying not to get caught leaving a voicemail here for the show.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_14]: Or he was back home, then, and everybody was sleeping, which sounded exactly like my post game reaction video that at my short video that I did Thursday night because everybody in my house was sleeping, so it was like, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it
- 3:42[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you, Chevy, for the Voice Mailman.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_14]: It's just so fun to hear everybody's reactions to the game, and yeah, that's why we're doing this today, and that's why we've got Adam up next.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: Boys.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Adam and El Paso.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: I know Cooper's priority left to a voicemail.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, we are three in one.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: We are number one in the AFC North.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now about this game.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just state some obvious.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: First and foremost, there were some calls that were made, aka some BS.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: past interference calls on Denzel Ward that I didn't agree with.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: There were some calls that weren't made.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: A.K.A.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Some past interference on Denzel Boston in front of the rough face that weren't called.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: Jared Burst jumping off sides and allowing Aaron Rogers to sneak in for a two-point conversion.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: That was kind of, that was BS as well.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: Jared Burst got to be better than that.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: I want to also acknowledge a fact that
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron Rogers passed for $299 yards, so the streak still remains of no $300 yards bastery against Cleveland's defense and 40-something games, which is a streak I'd love to keep alive.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, guys, I just want to revert back to a comment that I made to Blake before the season started, and that was.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: how good the Browns actually have to be to compete in the AFC North this year.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm not taking away from the team.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is a phenomenal game as phenomenal win.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to revert back to that.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: We are 3N1 and we are leading the AFC North right now.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Blake, where you at?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_14]: Adam things for the voicemail will have to get Blake's opinion on that here Sunday night yes Sunday night after the jet's game and we'll see what he has to say there we should all be together for that one after the reaction show after the jet's game but yeah man looking ahead just a little bit here in the AFC North and the schedule things are we talk about this all the time.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_14]: right where you could be a really, really good team and just have some bad breaks go your way early in the season.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_14]: All of a sudden things start to get a little derailed for you.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_14]: Sometimes things work the opposite way and things do break in your favor.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_14]: I'm not saying the Browns aren't a good team.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_14]: I'm just saying you have to you have to be good good enough to be in position to win games and good enough to be in position that when breaks go your way you can capitalize on them.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_14]: The Browns are three and one looking at a stretch of games coming up here where
- 6:09[SPEAKER_14]: We can talk, we'll talk about that in the preview this week about a bit, you know, potential trap game, but you get to go to New York play against Gino Smith.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_14]: So the Brown streak of not allowing a 300 yard pass or should move to 50, I believe, Thursday night made at 49 straight games, so Sunday would be 50, Gino Smith ain't passing for 300 yards against this defense.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_14]: They don't have Breeze Hall.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_14]: They don't have, I don't think they're going to have that.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_14]: And I'm literally like, they're down a lot of key pieces on their offense.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_14]: So scoring points should be very difficult for the jets on Sunday.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_14]: And then the week after that, you're looking at a potentially,
- 6:45[SPEAKER_14]: Lamarless Ravens team in Cleveland.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_14]: So the Ravens get to come into Cleveland, maybe no Lamar Jackson enough Lamar Jackson does play.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_14]: He's gonna be limited with his ankle sprains.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_14]: So a mobile, you know, limited mobility Lamar Jackson might even be better for the Browns than facing like a healthy Tyler Huntley.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_14]: We'll talk about that game when it gets here.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_14]: I hate looking too far ahead.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_14]: But one more after that, you get the Titans.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_14]: Like there's a chance the Browns
- 7:16[SPEAKER_14]: I was not talking like this at the beginning of the season.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_14]: We were doing live shows, looking at people in the chat who would say those things and say, stop it, slow your role, calm down, let's let it play out.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_14]: Well, it's playing out and it looks like maybe you guys out there, you eternal optimists.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe you were right now.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_14]: Things could go horribly wrong this Sunday against the jets.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_14]: We've all seen this story before.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_14]: So before we get to head of ourselves, that's why we just need to enjoy the present.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_14]: But.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_14]: The stretch of the schedule coming up is definitely favorable for the Browns.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_14]: Adam, thank you, yes, Cooper, did get his voice mail in the show yesterday.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_14]: So, it's great to hear from you guys.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_14]: So, everybody's doing well down there in El Paso, Malachi, buddy.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_14]: You get to go next.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_17]: Three and one, baby, come on!
- 8:01[SPEAKER_17]: It's Malik, I either, and I could not be more ecstatic here.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_17]: At one thirty a.m. in Oxford, all my God, bro.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_17]: Dude, campus is unreal up here right now.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_17]: I am so happy.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_17]: This is why we are fans of the Cleveland Browns, baby.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_17]: The grind and everything, man.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_17]: It's worth it right now.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_17]: Three and one's never looked so gritty.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_17]: Not pretty, gritty, baby.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_17]: You know, Watson still a tale of two different players each half, man.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_17]: When it mattered, he got it done, man, and Andre Schmidt, ice in his veins, man.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_17]: Shout out to the defense, man.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_17]: And hopefully, Mason Graham's OK.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_17]: I guess we'll see more details on the entry tomorrow, but hers up to Mason Graham, our defense is a bunch of dogs.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_17]: It's figured of the dogs.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_17]: Let's go dogs, baby.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, let's go boys.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_17]: Love the podcast.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_17]: Let's go.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_17]: Come on, baby.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_17]: We are three in one.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_14]: There we go.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_14]: There we go.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_14]: There's that excitement from Thursday night.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_14]: Just love reliving the emotions and the feelings from that Malachi.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_14]: So fun, man.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_14]: Just such a fun win.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_14]: And just, you know, the one thing about your voice, Mother, I did want to make sure I commented on the defenses of Munch of Dogs.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_14]: Talked about this the other day, talked about on the recap.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_14]: It's worth mentioning again.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_14]: You lose Mason Graham early in the first quarter in that game.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_14]: Your sack leader, the engine that has been running your defensive units, the front, everything has gone through Mason Graham through the first three weeks of the season.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_14]: And you lose him, almost right out of the gate, and it's like, man, we don't know how bad the knee injury was as he can be out for a while.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_14]: And you know, what's gonna happen?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_14]: Then not too long after, my call goes out.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_14]: It's like, oh my gosh, we just lost two guys that have been really running this defensive front for the first three weeks.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_14]: What do we, we're screwed?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_14]: Not screwed.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_14]: Not screwed.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_14]: Everybody stepped up every single defensive tackle on the roster had a sack.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_14]: against Aaron Rodgers after Mason Graham went out.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_14]: You had Mike Hall, you had Malik Collins, Aiden Huntington, then you got the edge rushers involved.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_14]: Everybody except Jared Versailles had a sack.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_14]: Isaiah McWire had a sack.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_14]: Sam, well, did he?
- 10:08[SPEAKER_14]: Sam, well, yeah, and Sam Williams had the other sack.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_14]: I guess it was Derek Barnett and Jared Versailles who did not have sacks in that game.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_14]: That's incredible.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_14]: And just not like those guys weren't doing stuff.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_14]: They were getting pressures and just wreaking havoc.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_14]: I mean,
- 10:23[SPEAKER_14]: The defensive unit right now is just, talked about this with Mac on the post game show Friday.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_14]: It is a collection, it is a team.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_14]: A full team effort is a collection of guys that all, they don't care who gets the sack.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_14]: We don't care about the numbers.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_14]: We don't care who gets the tackle, who gets the interception, the turnover, blah, blah, blah.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_14]: We're not worried about the numbers.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_14]: The only number we're worried about.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_14]: is the number on the scoreboard and as long as that number is less and what our says, we're in good shape and that that defense is just playing in credible.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_14]: So very exciting moving forward Malik, I thank you calling Buddy Europe next.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Boys, Browns got the big win tonight to Sean looked pretty good throughout the game.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: It looked pretty comfortable.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: The fumbles got a stop though.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's got to tuck that ball.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, he fell on the one offensive line.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Looks really good throughout the night.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Titus Howard is still booty cheeks though.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: If he wouldn't have given up on his block, that ball doesn't get tipped.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't go for an interception.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: or we get to pass interference call, either way, tight as Howard is booty cheeks.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Outside of that on the defense, Emmanuel McNeill Warren looked phenomenal.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Had two great past breakups.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's gonna be somebody who stays in Cleveland for a long time.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Go Browns, woo!
- 11:44[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, man, Emmanuel McNeil Warren is legit.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_14]: They are bringing him on his snap count as rising each week and he's making big plays more and more each week.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_14]: He looks great.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_14]: I sold a day-dane broodler from the athletic released his first quarter of the season all rookie teams and the Browns were like the clear cut winners of everything.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_14]: You had both Denzel
- 12:10[SPEAKER_14]: uh... at the wide receiver position and then you had uh... spends her final was first team at the to off end of tackle um... austin
- 12:19[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, Austin Berser, I'm Austin Barber first team at the guard position, then Emanuel McNeil Warren was second team at safety.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_14]: So the prunes are just killing it right now with their draft picks, with these rookies, these young guys, everything is going our way and you know, we could sit here and say, okay, when is the other shoe going to drop?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_14]: or we could just fricking sit back and enjoy it.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_14]: To go back to one thing, you did say in there for sure, like, I've harped on this and I'm going to continue and some people are like, dude, why are you going to be so crit?
- 12:52[SPEAKER_14]: Because I want to keep winning so I'm going to continue to be critical of everybody that I need to be critical of including to Sean Watson.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_14]: Stop fumbling the ball.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_14]: He puts it the ball in the ground way too much, way too much and he just watching when he runs, watching when he scrambles and the hits are about to come.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_14]: He does not tuck the ball, just like Colin said, he holds it freaking out wide, baby.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_14]: And I don't know why he is a 10 year veteran.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_14]: He shouldn't know better.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_14]: They need to coach that.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_14]: That needs to be coached out of him quickly because
- 13:23[SPEAKER_14]: You can't fumble the ball that many people put the ball in the ground three times in that Steelers game.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_14]: If you guys recall one of them was yes rolled down and he fell on the other the other one was taken back by TJ Watch so Quit putting the ball in the ground.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_14]: Please forgot sick.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_14]: Like please please please.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, enough of that Like we'll just stay more positive here.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_14]: We can't by calling.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you very much, Bernsey.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_15]: You're up next boys.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_15]: The Browns are three and one Honestly
- 13:51[SPEAKER_15]: You were told Miss Week 3, I would not believe you at all, but we're 3 and 1 right now.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_15]: And I really just wanted to ask you guys, I mean, I don't know because I think that all of our offensive players are set up to where
- 14:10[SPEAKER_15]: we could be really good in the next few years.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_15]: If Denzel Boston, Casey, and Fannon, and Jenkins, they all decide to, you know, they all develop at the right times and do all the right things.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, are we thinking that maybe after another year or two of experience, the window is open?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_15]: Am I getting delusional?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_15]: Here we go.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_15]: Super Bowl window opened in two to three years.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_15]: Here we go, Brownies, here we go.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_15]: Ooh, ooh.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_14]: You're not delusional at all, Burns.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_14]: The only thing that you might be a little off is talking about the window being open in two to three years.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, is it not open right now?
- 14:53[SPEAKER_14]: Now listen.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_14]: And did I over react after week one?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I think we all did for the most part.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_14]: And I'm sure some of you guys didn't, but I definitely did.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_14]: Now, in my overreacting to three straight wins that were close games, we probably could have easily lost all three, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_14]: You can come out of for many angle you want to.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_14]: The talent on this team is obvious, clear and obvious.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_14]: And I was talking to somebody the other day, and I said, you know, as long as you make the playoffs,
- 15:22[SPEAKER_14]: you have a shot.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_14]: Now, do you have like a strong chance, maybe not, but as long as you make the playoffs, if you make the dance anything can happen, that's the point I'm trying to get at.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_14]: We might, I forgot who it was somebody posted this on X the other day and they said, the Browns rebuild, maybe it was Garrett Bush said the Browns rebuild might have just taken place right in front of our eyes without without the lengthy time period.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_14]: We all thought it was going to take to get it done.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_14]: Now the quarterback position still a major question moving forward.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_14]: Yes, Deshawn Watson looks like he's capable of playing competent enough football to win
- 16:06[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know if he's back next year.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_14]: I doubt it.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_14]: I just don't think there's any world where they can, as far as like financially to him and then against the cap space, we can talk about all that later.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_14]: I just don't see how it's going to work and Shador Sanders might be their long-term fallback plan or maybe their 1a plan and 1b is, let's see what happens in the draft.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_14]: I'm not really sure what the plan
- 16:36[SPEAKER_14]: But the situation no matter who plays quarterback is going to look very good next year.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_14]: And again, we're in this present time right now, where if the Browns are able to continue to win enough games to make the playoffs this year.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I don't think we're waiting two to three years for a window to open up.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_14]: I think we're opening the window right now.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe that's the best way to put it.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_14]: I think we are opening that window and saying, well, guys, we're ready to do some stuff here and now.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_14]: So I hope it continues, Bernsey.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_14]: I really do, but stay on your high, man, for real.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_14]: Like if you guys are up here about the Browns, stay there, stay there because we don't get to get up here about the Browns during the season very often.

- 19:11[SPEAKER_14]: Philip, got you up next, man.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_13]: Hey guys, it's a little bit from Dubai.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_13]: I guess we all have to clear our schedules and February and now that we're going to the Super Bowl.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_13]: I'm just kidding.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_13]: I think there's some where I actually think we are.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_13]: And others who are probably just waiting for this whole thing to go sideways.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_13]: I'm in between.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_13]: I'm just enjoying what I'm seeing apart from the little or some thing where like how Wes is gonna go, because if they keep playing like this, we're not gonna be able to pick a quarterback and then we kind of have to do the right thing
- 19:40[SPEAKER_13]: extend the show on Watson.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_13]: Let me go not there again.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_13]: I know that, but I'm just hypothetically speaking, and what are we going to do?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_13]: Because you kind of, if you win, that's great, awesome, but no quarterback.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_13]: So then you keep the one that you have that, you know, seems to work.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_13]: If we win a lot, that's the solution.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_13]: And we've already got so worked out about everything he's done.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_13]: We may as well now just enjoy the, you know, the positive sites.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_13]: But if they, now all of a sudden, everything falls apart,
- 20:05[SPEAKER_13]: right there where we started, but at least the whole team showed something.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_13]: There are team.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_13]: It's not just the defense, it's only Miles Garrett.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_13]: The defense is now a defense.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_13]: And we're talking about individual players not playing well, and that's only possible because the others are.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_13]: And that's a new thing for Brown's fans as well to watch.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_13]: We have an office, we have a defense, things are working.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_13]: So we just enjoy this.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_13]: Whether we get it stays at three wins or we're going to get 10 or whatever it doesn't matter.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_13]: Right now it's just nice to be a
- 20:33[SPEAKER_13]: To not be the worst, not be the last of the Paul rankings, so I'm just going to enjoy this.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_13]: Congratulations, Browns.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_14]: Woof, woof, go Browns.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_14]: Fill up my Dubai guy.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_14]: That might be my favorite voicemail yet.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_14]: Just...
- 20:49[SPEAKER_14]: Mike Drop, I can't really say much else to what you just laid out there.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_14]: That's exactly where we are as Browns fans.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_14]: I think the majority of us are with you.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_14]: And that's how we feel where we're so excited at the same time.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_14]: You always have that in the back here.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_14]: Like,
- 21:04[SPEAKER_14]: How is this going to go sideways?
- 21:05[SPEAKER_14]: You know, we've been Browns fans for most of us our whole lives, decades, whatever.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, we know there's always a way to lose the game.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_14]: There's always a way for things to fall apart.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_14]: And I don't feel like that's so much just like pessimistic thinking on Browns fans part, I think it's just trauma.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_14]: That's just the experience of being here.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_14]: We've lived through that so many times.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_14]: it's just second nature to be thinking that way.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_14]: So I get it, man.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_14]: I totally understand it, but man, like Philips said, just the team is playing so well together right now.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_14]: And you know, as far as the quarterback situation moving forward, just talked about that with the previous voice mail, but I do think the Browns have set themselves up to where there are multiple options moving forward.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_14]: Obviously option one in no particular order either, but one option is
- 21:59[SPEAKER_14]: Find your quarterback of the future in the draft next year.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_14]: There we have two first round picks.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_14]: We can maybe for Nango our way around the draft board.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_14]: If we find a guy we fall in love with, yada yada, we can make something happen.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_14]: Depending on how the rest of the season goes.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_14]: That is option one option two.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_14]: You could try to find a way to extend the Sean Watson.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_14]: I think that avenue is going to be very difficult to pursue.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_14]: But I mean, it's obviously still an option.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_14]: There are things can happen.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_14]: We will see how it goes.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe that ends up being the case.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_14]: Option three.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_14]: Should or see others?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_14]: You do have a guy that showed you last year's a rookie.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_14]: You can win games with him at quarterback, even with the worst offense in the world.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_14]: You can still win games as long as you've got a decent enough defense and you keep the games close.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_14]: He's now played, you know, the his rookie season and now he has this second year where he's the Browns have said they really like the way he's developed under Todd Monkin.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_14]: They like his progression.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_14]: say he'd red shirts this whole year and to Sean Watson plays the whole year and everything and then they'd go into next-off season.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_14]: They're out of range for a rookie in the draft and there's really nobody that were super high on any health hypothetically.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_14]: To Sean Watson, that's not going to work out as far as an extension goes.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_14]: The Browns are ready to cut ties and move on and split the dead cap and all that stuff like they planned.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_14]: You've got a guy on your roster on a fifth round
- 23:21[SPEAKER_14]: that you can turn to and say, this team is now yours and you put that guy who a lot of us still think probably presents the bigger upside to your offense at the quarterback position.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_14]: You stick him into now second year, Denzel Boston, Casey, Concepcion to second year line men, you know, a line that's now gel together with Harold Fan and Quinshanger.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_14]: I think this team could absolutely turn to Shidorah Sanders in 2027 and be just fine.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_14]: I'm not actually worried about the quarterback situation so much right now because the Browns have multiple avenues they can take and I think be successful whichever way they decide to go.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_14]: So that's kind of where I am right now.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_14]: obviously winning games makes you a lot more positive as a Browns fan.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_14]: As we are hearing and seeing from everybody, thank you Phil up in Logan, let's hear what you have to say.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: And let me tell you, boys, it was a great night last night.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: Real nice.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: I was getting real nervous about seeing all the stuff on the Browns are, you know, having lost a Thursday night football game and forever.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: And they never lose a Thursday night, so I'm like, oh, we're going to get jinxed.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: And at the end of the game, I believe it was either, I think it was Al-Michael's sense.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: Kicker, they haven't missed all year long.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: And like, oh, we're done, boys.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: And they did!
- 25:00[SPEAKER_14]: I love it Logan.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_14]: Why?
- 25:02[SPEAKER_14]: Why not us?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_14]: Why not now?
- 25:04[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, man.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_14]: I was definitely getting nervous too with all of the hype over the Browns phenomenal Thursday night football record and their their win streak over the Steelers at home and blah, blah, this and it's like hand.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_14]: This would just be so, so typical that now we would have, we would blow it after we've made all a big deal about all these things.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_14]: But we didn't.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_14]: We kept it alive.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_14]: We found a way to win.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_14]: It's a different team, different era and Cleveland right now because again, this team, this, this franchise, I should say historically, if you're talking about a team that finds a way to lose the game, invent new ways to lose, losers and ways that you never thought was possible.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_14]: That's the Cleveland
- 25:45[SPEAKER_14]: You know, Todd Munkin, Browns are gonna Browns, F that.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_14]: And I won't say it, but he did, and I love it.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_14]: So, thank you Logan, Claude, you're up.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_14]: Hey gang, it's Claude from Ariel.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_06]: Wolf, wolf.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_06]: Me and my buddies at a burn and turn for the game last night, got into Cleveland.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_06]: I like three, the four-hour drive from Eriot, got back to Eriot at five in the morning, totally worth it.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_06]: I got no voice, I just wanted to call and say, Oof!
- 26:22[SPEAKER_06]: Oof!
- 26:24[SPEAKER_14]: We're going to the Super Bowl, baby!
- 26:28[SPEAKER_14]: You know what I love more than Browns fans?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_14]: Happy Browns fans.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_14]: Excited Browns fans.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_14]: This is fan tasset.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_14]: Claude, thank you for the voice, my love.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_14]: The no voice today, I must have been just such a great experience for you guys going and checking out that game, man.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_14]: But awesome.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you for the voice, male.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_14]: Hope your voice is coming back.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_14]: Keep barking and having a great time.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_14]: Let's hear what Scott has to say next.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_18]: Here we go, brownies, here we go, woo, woo, wow, what a game, gosh, that was crazy, that was a very stressful game, but what a fun one to watch, great to get the win.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_18]: Nice to see the offense show up and have some big chunk plays that was really exciting, gives me some hope for the future.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_18]: Of course, the defense always shows up.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, just exciting day to be a Browns fan, three in one, who would
- 27:20[SPEAKER_18]: Uh, also just really concerned for Mason Graham.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_18]: I hope he's okay.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_18]: And I can't wait to hear any updates on that.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_18]: Go Brownies.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_18]: Whoo, whoo.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_14]: Thanks, Scott.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_14]: I think we were all sitting on pins and needles there at the end of the game.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_14]: That man, you're just kind of going back and reliving it to here in my head.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_14]: The first half had felt like, man, we are going to take these guys behind the frickin' wood shed tonight and show them.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_14]: You do not come into Cleveland and have any opportunity to beat this team.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_14]: And then the second half happened and it's like, ah, F, we are going to do this thing again where we just fold and let a team come back and beat us, but thankfully,
- 27:58[SPEAKER_14]: We stuck it out, we held it together, got the wind, and it's just very encouraging moving forward.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_14]: Now we need to go, we gotta go play a complete game in New York.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_14]: We cannot be doing this first half, we kind of suck, second half, we turn it on or first half, we're great, second half, we fall apart.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_14]: Play a full game, a complete game, please.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_14]: It doesn't have to be 100 mile an hour of the entire time.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_14]: But, you know, there's going to be jockey, it's the NFL, it's a professional sport.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_14]: There, no team is going to just absolutely take it to the other from the first snap to the last without any ups and downs in between.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_14]: That very rarely do you ever see that kind of thing.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, this is the NFL.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_14]: Average of margin of victories, three and a half, like, close games.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_14]: That's what it's built for.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_14]: But can you just not be such an up and down team, please?
- 28:44[SPEAKER_14]: Like, do it for us, do it for the fans, because I'll tell you what.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_14]: We're winning, it makes it great, but the heart can only take so much of this.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_14]: So let's keep, let's just bounce it out a little more clearly, bounce it out, but thank you Scott Kyle, you're up next.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_07]: we look pretty solid as a team defense and offense and that's even after it was in a couple of linemen on defense last night, you know, we stepped up and we're still getting sacks just coming in off the sideline getting a sack like the Sean looked pretty good.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_07]: He's going to have mistakes all quarterbacks do at what point can we stop worrying and look like we're going to win this game.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_07]: Just curious.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: See what you guys think.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_07]: Dogs out.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_14]: Well, Kyle, I can tell you personally, for me, I don't really ever stop worrying about this team.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, it's just it's been so long.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_14]: Such a long time, a time rooting for the Browns and going through all of the pain and suffering through all the years.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_14]: Um, yeah, I don't have a really stop worrying.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_14]: I'm very high right now.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_14]: I'm very optimistic about this team, but
- 30:02[SPEAKER_14]: Um, we always have to be on guard, I think, just as fans at the team in jet, like you can never just get satisfied with what's going on, and there's always room for improvement, and there's always ways in which things can go bad.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_14]: You look at any team in the NFL, and injuries can derail you even, you know, when you have the greatest outlook for a season, you know, and stuff like that, boom, a couple injuries and all of a sudden it's like, well, crap, we're
- 30:29[SPEAKER_14]: Things can change in a hurry in the NFL, so that's why it's like enjoy it while you have it.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_14]: pray and hope it continues and that this is your year and this is the time when things are going to go your way so far the breaks have gone our way so yes I now can we continue to just sit back and relax and expect like yeah we're going to get all the breaks everything's going to go our way we're going to get absolutely host at some point this season in a game about something that's going to end up we're going to say oh that cost us the game it's going to happen against the NFL but
- 31:03[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you for the voicemail, appreciate hearing from you, and we'll try to worry less.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_14]: It's what I will say.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_14]: At least for me.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_14]: Anyhow, worrying sucks, but again, just building as a brown spanner, I guess.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_14]: This episode is sponsored by IM8.

- 32:36[SPEAKER_04]: Um, beyond ecstatic, I've had freaking chills the best few weeks.

- 32:41[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_04]: Go Browns, baby.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_04]: Quick story was in the store today, rockin' my old school OG Timcouchers.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_04]: He loved that guy, but anyway.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, somebody behind me came up and was like, Tim couch, man, nice jersey, blah, blah, blah, and go figure.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_04]: He was a frickin' jet fan, but anyway, long story short, I don't care who you talk to, right?
- 33:08[SPEAKER_04]: Whether you like to tightens the commanders that chiefs, blah, blah, blah, everybody's always like, okay, whatever, yeah, good luck this season.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_04]: When you talk to somebody and tell them you're a brown fan, it's always a long conversation, and I love it.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_04]: We are one of the cornerstones of the NFL.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_04]: We've been around a long time and we are just an old school grit team and everybody, everybody knows the Cleveland Browns.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: And I know we've had our trials and tribulations.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes they know us because we've had bad years.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_04]: All that good stuff, but.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_04]: The way people are talking, the way I'm talking, the way the world's talking.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: I am beyond happy to be a Cleveland Brown fan right now.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_04]: And I just, I love it.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_04]: Go Brown's baby.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_14]: And that's what it's all about, Tim.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_14]: That's what it's all about, man.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_14]: You people always ask, right?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_14]: Whenever you're out and about and say, oh, you were for the Browns?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_14]: Yep.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_14]: Why?
- 34:07[SPEAKER_14]: And I get that all the time.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_14]: Why do you move to the Browns?
- 34:09[SPEAKER_14]: Why don't you just change teams?
- 34:10[SPEAKER_14]: They suck.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_14]: And you know, the answer is, I've rooted for this team my entire life.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_14]: It's built into my identity.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_14]: It's built into who I am as a person.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_14]: I can't just change that.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_14]: What would I even?
- 34:23[SPEAKER_14]: I wouldn't even know where to start rooting for another team.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know their history.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_14]: I have no battle scars with any other franchise.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_14]: They all exist right here.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_14]: I'm never leaving that behind.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_14]: and it's all built toward this.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_14]: When the team is finally good, watch out because this fan base is the best in all of pro sports in my opinion.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think there's anybody that compares and if you just give us a winning product, something to get excited about, you will have
- 34:53[SPEAKER_14]: an asset within your fan base that no other team is capable of having and it's just phenomenal.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_14]: So Tim, thank you for the voice mail.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_14]: Now, up next, Aiden.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_10]: Hi, guys.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_10]: It's Aiden here from Born and Lincolnshire, England.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_10]: I left a voice mail last week.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_10]: But I think you might have lost in the short week chaos.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_10]: So if you're hearing from me twice, apologies.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_10]: and I wanted to leave my thoughts after the seeders game, what a win, what a crazy start to the season, depending on anybody envisioned just to be free and warm, but it is brilliant to be on a successful start, so a long way that continued.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_10]: I'm kind of big takeaways from the game where
- 35:38[SPEAKER_10]: defensively again.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_10]: As we spoke about, we were phenomenal, McNeil Warren coming in for a few snaps.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_10]: I thought it was really good.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_10]: And apart from maybe tight hours, our online is slowly but surely looking a lot more competent, which is great.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_10]: Jerry Judy might have got us a slightly better draft proposal after that final drive for a couple of really big plays.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_10]: Still I think we should be looking to catch him on him, but great to see him doing what he's paid to do.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_10]: But all in all, what a great start to season and they're rolling the jets really if we can go there and be competitive and let's move
- 36:23[SPEAKER_14]: 8 in thank you for the voicemail great to hear from you yeah your last voicemail probably got lost in the shuffle last week short week we're able to do many episodes in between the sunday and Thursday games and again if you guys are calling in i'm leaving voicemails and you don't hear them played on the show keep calling keep leaving voicemails we will get to you guys sometimes we just we're not able to do episodes and shows every single day we can't get to every single voicemail all the time and sometimes by the time we get to him
- 36:46[SPEAKER_14]: whatever you were asking about or talking about your take was irrelevant because you maybe said something about you know a player and then that's already been decided.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_14]: So sometimes we just can't get to everybody.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_14]: Um, the fact that we have so many voicemails coming in is just mind blowing.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you guys never when we started this show seven years ago never anticipated we'd have this many followers or listeners or anything.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_14]: So truly you guys make this show happen and we can't thank you enough.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_14]: But Aiden, yeah man, like
- 37:14[SPEAKER_14]: This team, Emmanuel McNill Warren, I mean, everybody is playing so well and it's just so so fun right now to be a Brownsmith.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_14]: So great to hear from you.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_14]: Hope to hear from you again and thank you for the voicemail.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_14]: Andrew, we got your voicemail next.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_09]: Hey guys, Andrew here.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_09]: I wanted to ask you thoughts on the potential future with the short Watson, which is a conversation I never thought would be having, but after four weeks with three and one, and to be fair to Watson, he's probably playing the best for boys ever played in Cleveland.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_09]: and although the bar was not set very high.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_09]: So, but if you continue on this trajectory, and maybe even some improvement as the online gels a bit more, the running game improves, and hopefully they can cut down on the pre-step penalties a bit more, do you think there's a possibility that Watson could be given a new contract here?
- 38:23[SPEAKER_09]: I really hope that's not the case.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_09]: Unless he does something out of the ordinary, like he, you know, leads us to the playoffs, maybe even a playoff win.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_09]: I just think that
- 38:36[SPEAKER_09]: yet unless you can do something out of the ordinary this season, it doesn't make up for the past four seasons and how much the team is suffered because of that trade and the contract.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_09]: I just hope that going a new direction and even draft a guy or, you know, explore alternative options, curious to know what you guys think.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_09]: Go Browns.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_14]: All right, Andrews, so that's enough people I think asking about the Sean Watson and the whole contract situation, extension, all that kind of stuff.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_14]: I'll do a brief, because again, I got more voice moves here, I want to get to it.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_14]: I'll just kind of make this brief.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_14]: And I do want to do a more extended video talking about this in the future.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_14]: Now, number one, salary cap situation contract stuff is a freaking nightmare.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_14]: It is, you really do need that Harvard education at Andrew Berry has or whatever to understand this stuff.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_14]: Be able to figure it out, navigate it, whatever.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_14]: But the way I understand it, and I always go to jackduff and at the OBR for this type of information I don't listen to anybody else because everybody else misreports everything.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_14]: So according to jackduff in the way, I understand it.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, so let's say the Browns decided they wanted to do a, see, and this is where it gets tricky because you, you want to look at it from the perspective of what the, what is best for the Browns, in terms of contract extension, if they decide to go that route and then what does the Sean Watson want from the player side of things.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_14]: So obviously from the brown side of things, you want it to be as team-friendly as possible.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_14]: And I saw like some people, some analysts referring out, we'll get to Sean Watson like a two year $25 million or a two year $50 million contract extension.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_14]: So that would be on average $25 million a year.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_14]: The difference here is, the Sean Watson from his current contract.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_14]: So from the $230 million contract, the Browns gave him back in 2022.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, the current contract.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_14]: And here's the thing I want everybody to understand.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_14]: You cannot replace the current contract.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_14]: So the dead cap hits due to the Brown's restructuring things on the cap from his current contract.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, they have pushed salary cap accounting dollars into the future.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_14]: those cannot be changed, those cannot be overwritten, they can't be erased, they have to account for the $230 million from the original contract at some point, no matter what, okay?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_14]: So the way to look at these contracts, so you have two categories, you got the cash, side of things, then you got the cap, side of things, for the cash.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_14]: The Sean Watson was
- 41:20[SPEAKER_14]: which is this year, after 2026, he will walk away with all $230 million cash done.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_14]: Done deal, okay?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_14]: He's got all the money from the contract.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_14]: On the cap side of things.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_14]: The Browns, so they have to pay $230 million cash to the Sean Watson, and then on this side they have to account for $230 million against the salary cap.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_14]: at some point.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_14]: Now, they have restructured and they've converted things to signing bonuses and this and that.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_14]: But it doesn't matter what they convert or how they manage it, all 230 million has to be accounted for against the cap at some point.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_14]: Next year, 2027 to Sean Watson already has a 36 million dollar cap head.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_14]: In 2028, he already has a 51 million dollar cap head.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_14]: He won't
- 42:10[SPEAKER_14]: as it currently stands he's not going to be on the team in those years.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_14]: but we still have to allocate cap dollars to his contract that we still haven't paid according to the cap.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_14]: Now I know this is confusing.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_14]: I don't even know if I'm explaining this well, and I'm sorry if I'm not.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_14]: But going back to these proposed extension, if you give them a $25 million or your contract for two years, then you're saying, okay, Deshawn Watson, the player is taking, he's getting $25 million a year because he's already made his 230.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_14]: He's slated right now to make $0.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_14]: moving forward.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_14]: He has no future contract money whatsoever.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_14]: So you pay him $25 million you're moving forward against the cap however it's not $25 million a year.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_14]: Like for next year it would be almost what $60 million against the cap.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_14]: In 2028 you're looking at almost $80 million against the cap for the Sean Watson if you do that type of contract.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_14]: So Jack Duffins suggested
- 43:10[SPEAKER_14]: Extend to show them what's in one year $7 million, now this is where I think things get a little crazy.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_14]: And what world would the Sean Watson agree to play football to be a starting quarterback, especially if he puts up, good top half of the league numbers type this year.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_14]: You know, your best Baker may feel the season is kind of what he's on track for this year, after four games.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_14]: You think he's going to agree to play another season for just $7 million?
- 43:39[SPEAKER_14]: I find that very hard to fathom, that he would agree to play for only $7 million.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_14]: toward the cap, $43 million against the cap next year for the Sean Watson, but from his side of things, it's only $7 million going into his pocket.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_14]: So why would he agree to that?
- 43:58[SPEAKER_14]: And just the whole contract extension situation for the Sean Watson is so crazy right now, just because of the way the Browns have pushed,
- 44:08[SPEAKER_14]: You know, future cap hits, you know, into the future, they've added these void years.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, he's going to be getting paid for the next three or the next two seasons after this.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_14]: They've got dead cap spread out into 20, 30 already.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know, guys.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_14]: It's just kind of crazy.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_14]: And I know that there's this whole poison pill, conversation going on.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_14]: So, yes, there is a poison pill in the contract that if Dishon Watson is on the Brown's roster as of March 13th, 2027, he is owed a $200 million bonus in 2029.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_14]: I believe is what it is.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_14]: And the reason I'm not even looking up the specifics to give you guys the exact details on the poison pill, because if you reject often, don't read the other, don't read the other.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_14]: People don't read the Mary Cays.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_14]: Don't read everybody else.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_14]: They don't understand this stuff.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_14]: Jack Duffins straight up said that poison pill doesn't matter.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_14]: They could have made that $2 billion bonus.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_14]: They could have made it a $100 bonus.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_14]: It said the poison pill bonus thing doesn't matter because he's never going to see that money.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_14]: No matter what, no matter what.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_14]: And this is where it gets confusion for people.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_14]: They say, well, you can't extend him because if you extend him and he's still on the roster in 2027 with an extension, he's gonna get that $200 billion bonus.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_14]: According to Jack Duffin, and I trust him with this stuff, 100% I don't listen to anybody but him.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_14]: Any new contract extension agreed upon by the Browns and Deshawn Watson will cancel out any future agreements from the previous contract.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_14]: Meaning if the Browns and Deshawn Watson do agree on an extension before March 11th or 12th
- 46:02[SPEAKER_14]: it will void and cancel out that agreement for the $200 million bonus in $20.29.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_14]: So, and then the other thing is, if they don't agree on an extension, they just cut it.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_14]: They don't as opposed to the first one cut on March 11th, and then he doesn't see that money.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_14]: So, either way, the poison pill doesn't matter.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_14]: I think that is the most important thing to take away from this conversation.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_14]: I'm going to get back to voicemails here.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_14]: And like I said, I'll do a longer video, maybe break in this down a little better.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_14]: I got to try to think of a good analogy example way to explain this stuff because,
- 46:31[SPEAKER_14]: In my head, at some point I'm thinking, okay, this might be easy to explain then I start talking about it and I'm like, well, I sound like I'm more on because I guarantee I'm just confusing everybody even more.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_14]: But you guys, let me know if that helped you at all understand anything about why this is such a difficult conversation to have about extending this guy.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_14]: just with the way the Browns have restructured and handled the cap space so far, just makes it difficult in the future to do these things.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_14]: But the biggest thing for me, just remember, the poison pill thing doesn't matter.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_14]: And unless Jack Duffin is wrong, which I don't think he's ever been wrong about this stuff, that the poison pill is a nothing burger.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_14]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_14]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 47:20[SPEAKER_14]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing against the house.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_14]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_14]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_14]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_14]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_14]: So if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs in Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_14]: You can take the other side of the market and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_14]: And it's not just sports either.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_14]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_14]: It works like this.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_14]: Simple yes or no market, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.

- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: My son was actually sleeping.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_05]: It was a later game and he was down the hall.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't want to wake him up, but the energy was there.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_05]: I just couldn't, I couldn't shout his loud.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, wow, what an exciting game.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_05]: Got a question for you.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: Before I get into that real quick though, I just want to say, and I put this in the discord.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: Anyone that's coming out to the JetSkame or the GiantSkame?
- 49:36[SPEAKER_05]: I won't be at the JetSkame, but I will be at the GiantSkame.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_05]: uh... with the big apple browns backers uh... they do a fun part of the night before at their bar and they have an awesome tailgate i put that information and tagged everyone in it uh... in the discord now my question to you is do you think that the offense would still be doing as well as it is and would be still be three and one which should do our standards at quarterback
- 50:01[SPEAKER_05]: because I really thought about this the other day.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_05]: And what I've seen, which is how much talent we have in these Wider Severs with KC and Denzel Boston, Harold Fanon starting to get more involved to the offensive line is slowly starting to click.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_05]: I'm seeing positivity there, game to game.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_05]: But I truly believe we would have the same record or possibly be undefeated if Shador Sanders was the quarterback.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_05]: But I hope to show him keeps ripping it up and let's go Browns.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_05]: Ooh.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_14]: Great information there just and yeah, if you guys are around the area next next week for the Jets Browns game, make sure you guys and especially if you're in the discord.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_14]: Hit up Justin, you guys can all get together, hang out, watch the game together, have a great time.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_14]: That is what the dog pack is all about the connecting, the community building, and that's what it's all about.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, shameless plug, go to join thedogs.com if you want to hang out with everybody and find opportunities like with Justin and these guys in the local areas where the games are being played, if you want to hang out and meet some people and make some new friends for these browns games.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_14]: It's a great time.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_14]: but to your question Justin, I've had people ask me that obviously.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_14]: It's so it's so difficult to say because Deshawn Watson has played such a pivotal role in the last three wins with his game winning drives in the fourth quarters and everything and being able to put the browns and position to win these games.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_14]: The other way to look at it is there have been stretches in all three games where Deshawn Watson has been absolutely horrible.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_14]: And call it what it is.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_14]: He's been really bad in the Panthers game, that third quarter, oh my gosh, puked me up a storm.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_14]: That was terrible.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_14]: That was bad.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_14]: It was really bad.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_14]: And I kicked it back in in the fourth quarter.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_14]: It was all good.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_14]: Second half against the Steelers.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_14]: Awful, just absolutely terrible play.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, these things are,
- 51:55[SPEAKER_14]: What if should or see this was able to sustain more consistent play throughout the entire duration of the game with the Browns even need those fourth quarter comebacks or would they be ahead enough that they would just win the game outright without needing to come back?
- 52:11[SPEAKER_14]: at the end of the game to pull out a win.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_14]: My gut tells me there's a chance, maybe that's the case, because I think Shador Sanders would have the more consistent big plays throughout the game and keep the offense more hummin'.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_14]: You know what I'm saying?
- 52:27[SPEAKER_14]: Like picking up more first downs early in the game, maybe not going through and out on every single game that we take the ball first.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_14]: It's just such a what if.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_14]: But at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter because we are three in one with the Sean Watson leading three straight fourth quarter comebacks and I do believe at some point and maybe it's not this year again.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_14]: I still got to see the Sean Watson play a full season healthy because I haven't seen it since 2020.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_14]: I just haven't.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_14]: We had nobody has seen that happen.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_14]: It's been a long time.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_14]: Can he?
- 52:58[SPEAKER_14]: play it full season healthy and with sustained play that is good enough to keep the starter spot will see I'm hoping I'm like you dress and like just keep winning games I don't I don't care I don't care who's playing quarterback I don't care who's playing whiter sugar I don't care who's playing linebacker or save I don't care as long as the team is winning games
- 53:20[SPEAKER_14]: So I do think should or Sanders is a bigger part of the Brown's options for the future than what some people may be able to see right now, because we're just so in it.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_14]: But yeah, we'll see how things go.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_14]: But thank you for the voice mail, Justin Hannah, up next.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_16]: What up dog package, Hannah?
- 53:41[SPEAKER_16]: I just scared for a little while, but I've definitely been watching, I've been in the
- 53:50[SPEAKER_16]: super crazy busy, but our team is winning, and I'm excited.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_16]: I'm so ready to stay up late watching the game, like everybody else, really, really tried to be there could make it happen, you know, life.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_16]: But I was so energetic the whole time, I literally was toot and hollering, my husband had to remind me so many times our kids were sleeping, and I told him that I didn't care, because I bought a game to watch,
- 54:19[SPEAKER_16]: fit victory Friday, couldn't like calm down, which of the store that had brown stuff like out in like a peril on sale and I was like, yep, needed some new stuff, I don't feel ashamed to wear it, you know, going into the weekend.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_16]: and it just was so exciting to have this win and I'm so, so happy for our team.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_16]: I feel my feels about Watson just like about everyone else, not sure how I feel about him, but our team.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_16]: I grew for our team.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_16]: I grew for the Browns, and I'm so pumped.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_14]: See, isn't it just so much more fun when the Browns are good?
- 55:04[SPEAKER_14]: This is what we talk about all the time if the Browns could just be good.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_14]: Look how much fun this fan base gets to have.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_14]: Hannah, thank you for the voice mail.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_14]: I hope you didn't wake up your kids, but I totally understand being in the moment saying, like, I don't care if they're sleeping.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_14]: We are gonna win this game.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_14]: That is awesome.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_14]: So thank you Hannah for the voice mail.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_14]: Always great to hear from you.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_14]: Keep calling in.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_14]: Let's see, Colton, we got a couple of voice mail's left.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_14]: We're finally getting through all these.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_14]: I appreciate all you guys send this stuff in.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_14]: Colton, let's hear what you got here, buddy.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, dark spot cast what's going on.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_08]: It's Colton, give me a call from Dover O'Hile.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_08]: I say this with every bit of passion in my heart about this team.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_08]: I am so cautiously optimistic.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like I'm setting myself up for the biggest letdown, whereas Blake says, I'm ready to have my heart broken again.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_08]: With all that being said though, no, I am so excited.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_08]: This is just,
- 55:57[SPEAKER_08]: rejuvenated this fan base and I think showed the national media to what we really are you know as a city of Cleveland how we can support one another through the good times in the back with all that being said though there are some things that we need to address while I agree that we are definitely ascending in the right direction we've got a lot of things to clean up but you know what?
- 56:20[SPEAKER_08]: This means we are buyers.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_08]: That's a treat that time.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_08]: So for the first time, we're not looking ahead and saying, oh, you know, hey, what late ground picks swap?
- 56:29[SPEAKER_08]: Can we get for this guy or hey, can we pick up this six or seven for him?
- 56:33[SPEAKER_08]: Whatever might be, we definitely got some holes we might need to fill in terms of depth.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm really looking forward to seeing, you know, what we can bring in.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_08]: I definitely think it's going to be on the defensive side of the ball corner edge,
- 56:48[SPEAKER_08]: and another guy that I'm super excited about, same Williams, one of Harry's thoughts on this.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_08]: Appreciate you guys love the podcast.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_14]: Shoutout Dover, Colton, the old stomping ground, the old hometown from me.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_14]: Missed that place, loved Dover, loved Dover Ohio's.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_14]: Fantastic, fantastic town.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_14]: You make a great point, you do.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_14]: And it's something that honestly, like, you know, we're four weeks into the season now, and I don't hear too many people talking about, I know I haven't even mentioned it yet, myself, because it just, it doesn't stick in the brain very well.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_14]: The Browns could be buyers at the trade deadline window.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_14]: When the hell does that ever happen?
- 57:25[SPEAKER_14]: Never.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_14]: It is a little different right now, because if we do win, let's say two of the next three games or something like that, we're sitting forward to, however, the Hover shakes out, five and two.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, you're looking, you need to be buyers at the trade deadline, because you got a team here that could maybe make some noise in December, January, but
- 57:44[SPEAKER_14]: Um, I know I've seen that the Owen four chargers could be sellers at the deadline.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_14]: Kaleel Mac looks like a guy I've seen going around social media that could potentially be had.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_14]: That would be a good edge rusher addition for the Browns, but at the same time, like you said, Sam Williams is playing really well.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_14]: and Derek Barnett and Isaiah McWire and Jared Burst and I don't know, they're playing Mike Hall sometimes off the edge, like we've got, we've got a good rotation there.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_14]: I don't, I don't know everything that adding another good player, especially at a premium position like that is a bad thing.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_14]: And obviously by the time the deadline rolls around, I mean, I hate to say it, I hate to put it out there, but we saw it Thursday night.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_14]: guys get injured, guys get hurt, guys get banged up.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, maybe not season ending stuff, but what if Sam Williams or, you know, God forbid Jared verse or one of these guys ends up going on a four week I are stint.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_14]: What are you going to do then?
- 58:37[SPEAKER_14]: You do need some help, especially moving forward after the trade deadline, you can't make moves like that.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_14]: So you even need to prepare for the what ifs as a contending team, which is just weird.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_14]: We did not think we'd be talking about this in 2026 for the Cleveland Browns, but there are definitely players and we'll be doing episodes in the future talking about, as we get closer and closer to the, what is it November 10th, I think November 10th trade deadline.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_14]: You guys correct me in the comments if I'm wrong, something like that, but we're about a month away from the trade deadline.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_14]: Yes, the more we win, the more those conversations will be had called and thank you for the voice mail.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_14]: And here we go, the last one on the list is Clark.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_11]: What's up, dog's podcast, Clark at a Steamboat Springs Colorado calling here.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, a couple of things I wanted to say before the Jets preview game.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_11]: We, we cannot overlook the Jets.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_11]: We need this win, especially with the Ravens next week.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_11]: As far as moving off of Jerry Judy, I would rather keep him, unless AB was able to get a good defensive tackle deal with Mason being out right now, but I think Jerry does a good job of being that veteran presence for Denzel Boston in KC.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_11]: And lastly, I do not like the way to Sean Watson carries that football any time he scrambles.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_11]: Anytime he fumbles, it's like Bruce the off the longest yard I shouldn't have that popcorn.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, I love the show.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_11]: Keep up the good work.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_11]: Keep up the energy man.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_11]: I love hearing everybody's voice males.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_11]: It just excites my day.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_11]: Lastly, go dogs.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_14]: Oh my gosh, dude.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_14]: I can't get the picture out of my head now of Brucey from the longest yard man.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_14]: That is perfect That is exactly what it's like watching to Sean Watson try to scramble with the football hanging it all clear out here and everything I'm glad I'm not the end of that first one.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_14]: That was hilarious man.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you seriously I heard you say that in that voice mail, and I started busing up laughing because the imagery was boom right there That's so good
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets frustrated by watching that and you know obviously we've talked about it already in this episode don't need to be the dead horse, but he's got to do better.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_14]: with that.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I did put out a short video last night about Jerry Judy and I do think I'm because before we were never I was anticipating the Browns not being very good this year and just trying to need to build up draft capital and you know the typical Cleveland Browns fan thought process.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_14]: It was like, well yeah, just get rid of Jerry Judy.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_14]: He sucks anyhow.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_14]: We don't need him.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_14]: He's not going to help us very much this year.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_14]: Get something for him and let's move on.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_14]: Well, we're three and one now with a stretch of games here that look very winnable.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_14]: and it's like, okay, maybe we should keep, because he's the only veteran wide receiver we have, and we cannot just rely upon the rookie boss in the KC staying healthier because you're setting yourself up for disappointment and failure.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_14]: You hope to God these guys can stay healthy, but this is the NFL's brutal sport and it's very physical, guys get hurt every week.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_14]: And even if it's just like an ankle sprint and somebody misses a gamer to, you need the depth.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_14]: you need the depth.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_14]: And we all like Isaiah Bond, but I think the Jerry Judy showed in that stealer's game that he is bought in and more focused now right now with this team this year than what he's been in the years past because to be able to come into the game, I think I saw Judy only played a 37% snap share in that game, so he's less than a part-time player.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_14]: uh... the other guys i think we're in the ninety so they're the starters they're the dudes he is not but when they needed him big catch in the third quarter hadn't caught a bone till then two
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_14]: I can't stress enough how big those catches were on that final drive for Jerry Judy to set us up for the field or the game when you feel cool.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_14]: I think we need to keep Jerry Judy.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_14]: I don't, again, this all changes what I used to say to you guys on the show because now the thought process, thank you, Colton, for bringing that up, has changed from the team as sellers to the team as now buyers.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_14]: We're not looking to sell off veteran players that can help us win games, because we need to continue to win games.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_14]: Now, if you want to look to move Jerry Judy in the off season, whatever, I don't care after this year, but I think right now, the way the team is winning and the players that you need to help you get there, and he might be more valuable to us on the team than he would be in a trade.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_14]: Because again, what's another team really going to give you for a guy who's been a disappointment for the most part of his entire career to this point.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_14]: just something to think about.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_14]: It's it's kind of changed my thought process on Jerry Judy, but three and one can do that to everybody.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_14]: Three and one is going to change a lot of people's minds about what we previously thought my priors were a little bit off.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_14]: Now obviously if we go and we drop like the next four games, okay, we're going to come right back to pessimismville and chewing these guys out, but it has been a great ride.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_14]: It has been an awesome three games and the stretch coming up and two year last point here Clark and then we'll get out of here for the
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_14]: can't overlook the Jets.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_14]: Jets preview coming up on Thursday, make sure you guys tune into that.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_14]: We will definitely be talking about trap game potential and why the Browns needed forget about Ravens at home, forget about Titans, forget about, you know, what if we win this game and this game and this game and this game you go want to know this week.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_14]: That's all that matters.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_14]: It's one game, nothing else matters.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_14]: What happened last week doesn't matter.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_14]: What happens after this week does it matter?
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_14]: want to know this week.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_14]: So that's where we got to be as fans as far as the team's got to be mentally.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_14]: And I think they will be.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_14]: I think Todd Monk and I'll make sure they understand.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_14]: You can easily go into New York and lose to the jets.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_14]: It's the NFL.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_14]: And he given Sunday, you know, that's just that's the reality of the situation.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_14]: So let's not overlook them.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_14]: Let's let's have a game where we win outright.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_14]: Let's not have to have a fourth quarter come back.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_14]: Let's not make
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_14]: form one.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_14]: So thank you guys for the voice mail.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_14]: 17, 17 voice emails today, 18 voice mail is yesterday.

- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_14]: We do it four fans.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_14]: It's all about you guys.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_14]: So without you guys, we don't have a platform and, you know, it's all about you.
