- 2:31Speaker 1: you for being a part. We like to go verse
- 2:34Speaker 1: by verse, chapter by chapter through the Word of God.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And as I mentioned, we are going through the Book
- 2:41Speaker 1: of Acts. We're in the Book of Acts. Chapter ten.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Is where you can find us, the Book of Acts,
- 2:48Speaker 1: chapter ten. And we're gonna pick it up in verse
- 2:53Speaker 1: twenty four and we're gonna go all the way to
- 2:55Speaker 1: verse twenty five. You know, we like to break it
- 2:58Speaker 1: up and bite pieces so we can chew on it
- 3:02Speaker 1: so that we can get all of the nourishments out
- 3:07Speaker 1: of the Word that God wants us to have. Amen.
- 3:11Speaker 1: This book is like a recipe. This book is a
- 3:14Speaker 1: love letter. God wants us to take our time and
- 3:18Speaker 1: not rush through it, right, He wants us to get
- 3:22Speaker 1: everything we can get out of this book. Hallelujah. Well,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I tell you what, we're standing at one of the
- 3:33Speaker 1: most pivotable moments in the entire book of Acts right here.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And we're not talking about a miracle healing, which is amazing,
- 3:43Speaker 1: or maybe even a jailbreak as we're going to read about.
- 3:48Speaker 1: But this is going to be a miracle in the hearts,
- 3:52Speaker 1: in the minds of the people. Amen. Now, up until now,
- 3:59Speaker 1: the Gospel has expanded, you know what I'm saying. Like,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it's expanded geographically. You know, it's gone out right to
- 4:10Speaker 1: other nations, in other cities. Right. But in Acts chapter ten,
- 4:18Speaker 1: God is gon to do some expanding and it's gonna
- 4:23Speaker 1: affect their theology, right, gonna We're gonna break down more
- 4:28Speaker 1: walls that even the believers didn't know that they were
- 4:32Speaker 1: holding on to. And I love it. I love it
- 4:35Speaker 1: when God touches the heart. I love the miracles that
- 4:39Speaker 1: God does within just changes of person. That is the
- 4:43Speaker 1: true miracle is a changed heart. Hallelujah. So let's go
- 4:49Speaker 1: before the Father in prayer. Lord, open our hearts as
- 4:56Speaker 1: you open Peter's heart. Lord, we move every bias, we
- 5:00Speaker 1: move every fear and every boundary that you never placed
- 5:07Speaker 1: in our hearts. Lord, teach us to walk with you
- 5:12Speaker 1: doubting nothing on God. And we asked this in the
- 5:16Speaker 1: mighty name of your Son Jesus. Mean man, it ain't man. Hallelujah.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I know God is gonna do a mighty work on
- 5:26Speaker 1: this episode on this podcast today, So let's jump into it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Grab your bibles and you know paths and your highlighters,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and follow along with me a man verse twenty four
- 5:38Speaker 1: and the following day they entered cesarea. Now Cornelius was
- 5:46Speaker 1: waiting for them and had called together his relatives and
- 5:52Speaker 1: his close friends. Now let's get a little background behind
- 5:56Speaker 1: this verse real quick. As you've been following along on
- 6:02Speaker 1: the other episodes, we saw that Peter had a vision.
- 6:08Speaker 1: All kind of unclean animals were on this sheet that
- 6:12Speaker 1: was passed down to him three times, and Peter refused
- 6:16Speaker 1: to eat it. And to be honest, it was against
- 6:20Speaker 1: scripture right his very own culture taught them not to
- 6:25Speaker 1: eat that which was unclean. But God was doing a
- 6:30Speaker 1: new work. God was showing him that if I made
- 6:33Speaker 1: something clean, do not call it unclean. And then we
- 6:38Speaker 1: look at the life of Cannelius. This man was a
- 6:40Speaker 1: devout man. This man gave, He was a giver, He
- 6:45Speaker 1: was very generous. He gave to the poor, he gave
- 6:48Speaker 1: to ministry, he gave to the Kingdom of God. And
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think that is amazing. And it's amazing how people,
- 6:56Speaker 1: even in church, they get offended if they talk about
- 6:59Speaker 1: giving an offering or giving a tithe or something. And
- 7:03Speaker 1: sometimes I ain't gonna lie. It's uncomfortable, you know, being
- 7:07Speaker 1: that we are non profit organization. You know, we ask
- 7:12Speaker 1: for donations, we ask for grants. You know, we ask
- 7:17Speaker 1: for things, and sometimes the Bible says it's better to
- 7:19Speaker 1: give than to receive. I'm more on the giving side
- 7:23Speaker 1: of it. It's uncomfortable for me to ask sometimes. But
- 7:27Speaker 1: also I know that there's a principle we got to
- 7:29Speaker 1: push past the flesh. There's a principle there there's a
- 7:34Speaker 1: heart that God will touch where a person desires to give.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And when you have that desire of giving in faith,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you are actually being obedient and fulfilling a principle and
- 7:49Speaker 1: a call of God. God calls us all to be generous,
- 7:53Speaker 1: and he can show that. This man was touched by that.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And even sometimes if you give, and some people wonder,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I mean, unless you know you're gonna give to something
- 8:02Speaker 1: that is just completely wicked. Right, but if you give,
- 8:06Speaker 1: like to your pastor or to your church, your responsibility
- 8:10Speaker 1: is over right. Whatever they do, if they miss appropriate
- 8:15Speaker 1: the funds, they have to give an account of God.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But you are obedient to that. Now, if you find
- 8:21Speaker 1: out they were, you know, out there, you know, doing
- 8:25Speaker 1: something wicked with the money, then no, don't give to that.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, but I'm just saying that we
- 8:31Speaker 1: can have a little breathing room when it comes to that,
- 8:37Speaker 1: and just in our love for God, just give freely,
- 8:41Speaker 1: give joyfully like this man did. This man had a
- 8:44Speaker 1: disciplined prayer life. He spent time before God in prayer.
- 8:48Speaker 1: This man had a reverence. He was devout, and like
- 8:53Speaker 1: I said in the last episode, like he makes Christians
- 8:56Speaker 1: look bad today. Like how many people do you know
- 8:59Speaker 1: like this? How many people can you say that are
- 9:02Speaker 1: in your circle that live a lifestyle like this that
- 9:06Speaker 1: is constantly giving, constantly in prayer, constantly in service. Amen, hallelujah.
- 9:15Speaker 1: If you do know people like that, pray for them
- 9:18Speaker 1: and be thankful that they are in your life. So
- 9:23Speaker 1: he sit so an angel. There was a memorial of
- 9:26Speaker 1: this man with before heaven. That's how much of an
- 9:30Speaker 1: impact he made. And so God dispassioned Angel because he
- 9:36Speaker 1: knew that this man was not his theology was off,
- 9:40Speaker 1: he was not saved, he was not serving the true
- 9:43Speaker 1: and living God. But God was going to correct him.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And this is encouraging to know that if you truly
- 9:49Speaker 1: sincerely seek, there's a promise in the word of God
- 9:52Speaker 1: that you will find. I believe that every person who
- 9:56Speaker 1: desires to go to Heaven will go. I believe that
- 10:00Speaker 1: with all my heart. If you sincerely seek the truth
- 10:02Speaker 1: and seek God, I believe that God will send you
- 10:06Speaker 1: the answers that you're looking for. Allelujah Amen. I mean,
- 10:12Speaker 1: we can see evident in the life of Connelius right
- 10:15Speaker 1: now as we're reading. All right, so back to the text. Now,
- 10:20Speaker 1: Connelius didn't keep this experience private right now, when God moved,
- 10:27Speaker 1: he invited others as well. Now that's a mark of
- 10:31Speaker 1: a genuine faith. It overflows, it affects others, just like
- 10:36Speaker 1: a negative, sinful life will affect other people. A faithful
- 10:41Speaker 1: life in God will affect and it'll overflow as well. Now,
- 10:47Speaker 1: notice this Connelius wasn't waiting for Peter. He was expecting God.
- 10:54Speaker 1: That was his heart. Like this man just saw an angel. Now,
- 10:59Speaker 1: some people they wait alone, and others will gather witnesses
- 11:04Speaker 1: to wait with them. Connelia said, if God is about
- 11:08Speaker 1: to speak to my household, and my household needs to
- 11:13Speaker 1: hear it, now that's true leadership. That is faith when
- 11:19Speaker 1: you say that, as for me and my house, we
- 11:23Speaker 1: will serve the Lord. Hallelujah. Now verse twenty five. As
- 11:30Speaker 1: Peter was coming in, Connelius met him and fell down
- 11:35Speaker 1: at his feet and worshiped him. Now, Canelius, he was
- 11:41Speaker 1: sincere right, But sincerity alone doesn't guarantee correct theology doesn't
- 11:51Speaker 1: at all. We are not supposed to elevate the vessel. Now,
- 11:57Speaker 1: he wasn't being an evil person at this time. He
- 12:00Speaker 1: was just being human, right, He was being human. God
- 12:04Speaker 1: has created us to worship. We are worshipers. Now he's
- 12:10Speaker 1: also giving us free will. Is up to us what
- 12:13Speaker 1: we decide to worship, who we decide to allow to
- 12:18Speaker 1: have that place in our hearts. But that's why we
- 12:23Speaker 1: have to be careful not to have idols. Right now,
- 12:28Speaker 1: it's easy to confuse the messenger with the message. Now
- 12:32Speaker 1: this is why no pastor, no preacher, no platform, deserves
- 12:37Speaker 1: worship at all. Now, God may use a person, he
- 12:42Speaker 1: may use a vessel, but God alone gets the glory.
- 12:49Speaker 1: You cannot put your pastor on a pedestal. You cannot
- 12:53Speaker 1: put me on a pedestal. This podcast, you cannot put
- 12:57Speaker 1: club his hop on a pedestal. Anything that we do,
- 13:01Speaker 1: if we're not glorifying God, then we have missed it completely.
- 13:06Speaker 1: We're just vessels, We're just tools. If you are building
- 13:13Speaker 1: a house and you're using the hammer, people are not
- 13:17Speaker 1: going to say, well, that hammer built the house. No,
- 13:19Speaker 1: they were going to say the person using the tool
- 13:23Speaker 1: had the schools, had the skills to build it. Well,
- 13:28Speaker 1: guess what. We are just tools in the hands of Jesus, hallelujah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: verse twenty six. But Peter lifted him up, saying, stand up,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I myself am also a man like you. Now this
- 13:48Speaker 1: is growth in the life of Peter. Now, if you
- 13:51Speaker 1: follow the story of the Apostles through the Gospels, a man,
- 13:56Speaker 1: you would remember that at one point there were arguing
- 14:00Speaker 1: about who was going to be the greatest right. It
- 14:05Speaker 1: was like a big feud over that. But now his
- 14:10Speaker 1: heart is he refuses worship. He only wants God to
- 14:14Speaker 1: get the glory. True spirituality doesn't seek elevation, It seeks obedience.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Let me say that again. True spirituality. You don't see
- 14:28Speaker 1: personal ambition. They don't want to get put on, but
- 14:36Speaker 1: they want to be obedient. And we gotta be careful
- 14:38Speaker 1: with our genre, Christian hip hop. There's a lot of
- 14:43Speaker 1: artists that I ran into over the years. When you know,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I ran a Christian club here in Las Vegas for
- 14:50Speaker 1: seven years right off the strip. Well it was on
- 14:53Speaker 1: Patrick in any Oakley, not far from the strip, not
- 14:56Speaker 1: on it, but not far from the strip. To run
- 15:01Speaker 1: into people that they think this is their career. It's
- 15:05Speaker 1: like a career opportunity instead of a life of obedience
- 15:11Speaker 1: and a call to God to get people saved. And man,
- 15:16Speaker 1: we gotta be careful not to allow the big head
- 15:20Speaker 1: or pride to rise up. Hallelujah. Now the wall comes
- 15:27Speaker 1: down right here in verse twenty seven. And as he
- 15:32Speaker 1: walked with him, he went in and many He went
- 15:39Speaker 1: in and found many who had come together. Now this
- 15:45Speaker 1: is amazing. Peter walks into the house of a gentile,
- 15:50Speaker 1: something he would never have done before. This is something
- 15:56Speaker 1: that the Jewish people did not do. And like I said,
- 16:02Speaker 1: you can't really blame Peter or the Jews because they
- 16:07Speaker 1: got in trouble for mixing with other nations. Look in
- 16:12Speaker 1: the Old test read the Book of Judges. Read how
- 16:16Speaker 1: these other nations would introduce their gods to the Jewish nation,
- 16:22Speaker 1: and God would punish them and deal with them time
- 16:25Speaker 1: and time again. And they were strictly forbidden from intermingling
- 16:32Speaker 1: with other races. And this was a spiritual thing, more
- 16:37Speaker 1: or less than just a racial thing. And we're gonna
- 16:40Speaker 1: see it now. But now all this stuff is getting
- 16:44Speaker 1: broken down in this chapter. And then verse twenty eight.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Then he said to them, you know how unlawful it
- 16:55Speaker 1: is for a Jewish man to keep company with or
- 16:59Speaker 1: go to one of another nation. See, now the heart
- 17:05Speaker 1: of the matter is being expressed. But God has shown
- 17:09Speaker 1: me that I should not call any man unclean, I
- 17:14Speaker 1: mean any man common or unclean. Hallelujah. Now God doesn't
- 17:20Speaker 1: change the dietary laws here, he is changing hearts right.
- 17:29Speaker 1: This verse exposes the real issue. Peter said, God has
- 17:34Speaker 1: shown me. Now, when he said God has shown me,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he is saying that I was wrong before, that I
- 17:44Speaker 1: misinterpreted this, that I didn't understand this fully. God didn't
- 17:49Speaker 1: say stop calling food unclean. He said stop calling people unclean. Family.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Sometimes our traditions survive longer than our obedience. Right, look
- 18:05Speaker 1: at God breaking down racial walls and racial barriers, and
- 18:09Speaker 1: I could say, as a black man living in the
- 18:14Speaker 1: United States of America, it has not been easy. Now.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I grew up in the eighties and in the nineties,
- 18:25Speaker 1: so I did not experience segregation. I was not around
- 18:33Speaker 1: that Martin Luther King was on the scene leading the
- 18:38Speaker 1: civil rights movement. I was not around during slavery or
- 18:43Speaker 1: anything like that. But I've heard about it, and I
- 18:47Speaker 1: felt the effects of it, and we still feel the
- 18:50Speaker 1: effects of it today. Now. No, I am not happy
- 18:56Speaker 1: about our history. But if that caused me to be
- 19:01Speaker 1: bitter and angry and upset, that would be a trick
- 19:05Speaker 1: of the enemy. Right, God calls us to forgive. I
- 19:10Speaker 1: always look at Christ. I always look at the Son
- 19:12Speaker 1: of God. Look at what they did to him on
- 19:15Speaker 1: the cross. And he was able to say, forgive them,
- 19:19Speaker 1: for they know not what they do. This is the
- 19:21Speaker 1: son of God. If he can forgive whom I not
- 19:25Speaker 1: to forgive my white brothers and sisters. Amen, I desire
- 19:31Speaker 1: to see them saved. I don't want to see anyone
- 19:36Speaker 1: go to Hell. I don't care if you're black, white,
- 19:40Speaker 1: to Gentile, you're Chinese, Japanese, if you're Korean, I don't care.
- 19:47Speaker 1: If you're Russian. I don't care who you are. And
- 19:52Speaker 1: that's one of the things that I'm happy about that
- 19:56Speaker 1: this podcast goes out to all countries. Everyone is able
- 20:02Speaker 1: to tune in and to listen in, to hear the
- 20:04Speaker 1: gospel and allow God to touch them. It breaks down
- 20:09Speaker 1: walls and all barriers, and we send nothing but love
- 20:13Speaker 1: to the nations. Heymen, this world needs more love, and
- 20:18Speaker 1: we're sending out the love of God and the love
- 20:21Speaker 1: from my heart to each and every continent through this podcast. Hallelujah.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Hey man, All right, enough of the gucy stuff. Let's
- 20:30Speaker 1: get back to this schritures Verse twenty nine. Therefore I
- 20:34Speaker 1: came without objection as soon as I was sent for,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I asked, then, for what reason have you sent for me?
- 20:46Speaker 1: Now Peter arrives obedient, but he is still learning. Now
- 20:52Speaker 1: that's an encouraging thing. You don't have to understand everything
- 20:57Speaker 1: to follow God. You don't have to know it all.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You don't have to get all the understanding. All you
- 21:03Speaker 1: have to do is walk in obedience and obey a
- 21:09Speaker 1: God is telling us to do amen. I've heard it say.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Sometimes all you have to do is take that first step,
- 21:16Speaker 1: and God will show you the second step. He doesn't
- 21:18Speaker 1: give you all the steps at once. Now, Cornelius recounts
- 21:26Speaker 1: the whole vision right as he was fasting, as he
- 21:33Speaker 1: was pringing and being obedient. So in verse thirty three,
- 21:37Speaker 1: so I sent to you immediately, and you have done
- 21:42Speaker 1: well to come. Now. Therefore we are all present before
- 21:48Speaker 1: God to hear all the things commanded you by God.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Now this is one of the coldest lines in Scripture.
- 22:03Speaker 1: In a good way. He nearly says, Peter or not
- 22:07Speaker 1: here for opinions. And you know I say that a
- 22:11Speaker 1: lot on my podcast. If it's an opinion, I'll let
- 22:14Speaker 1: you know because you can take it or leave it. Right.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But they were not here for Peter's opinion, and they
- 22:21Speaker 1: were not here for tradition. They didn't want to learn
- 22:26Speaker 1: about Jewish tradition or anything like that. They are there
- 22:32Speaker 1: or we are here for what God told you to say. Amen.
- 22:38Speaker 1: That is a hungry room right there. Now, how many
- 22:42Speaker 1: of us go to church with that same intent to
- 22:46Speaker 1: hear what God told the preacher, what God told the
- 22:49Speaker 1: preacher or the pastor to say, or the minister to
- 22:53Speaker 1: hear from God that God gave somebody a message. And
- 22:56Speaker 1: you're here you just want what God said. Amen. I
- 23:02Speaker 1: think that's a good reason to go to church or
- 23:06Speaker 1: even to show up to this podcast. You are listening
- 23:09Speaker 1: to this podcast because you are here to hear what
- 23:13Speaker 1: God said, told me to tell you, or to say
- 23:15Speaker 1: on this podcast. Amen, hallelujah. We're gonna change the name
- 23:20Speaker 1: to the God Said Podcast. Hallelujah. Look like lost another one,
- 23:26Speaker 1: all right? Verse thirty four. Then Peter opened his mouth
- 23:30Speaker 1: and said, in truth, I perceive that God shows no partiality.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Now this is another heart check. Now this was revolutionary
- 23:43Speaker 1: thinking for the Jewish believer raised under the law. Peter says,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I perceive, meaning this revelation is still landing. Sometimes truth
- 23:59Speaker 1: hits you while you are speaking it. Right, I've had
- 24:04Speaker 1: that happen before I can speak it. I'm ministering to
- 24:07Speaker 1: somebody and I get minister too. At the same time. Amen,
- 24:12Speaker 1: this is awesome. But in every nation, whoever fears Him,
- 24:20Speaker 1: it works, righteousness is accepted by him. This does not
- 24:27Speaker 1: mean salvation by works. It means God's imitation is not
- 24:32Speaker 1: restricted by ethnicity or background or culture. Right, there is
- 24:41Speaker 1: no boundary at all. All can come freely to receive
- 24:48Speaker 1: the salvation of our God. The gospel isn't Jewish. The
- 24:54Speaker 1: gospel isn't Gentile. The gospel is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Hallelujah.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Let me say that again. The gospel isn't Jewish or
- 25:08Speaker 1: just for the Jewish people. The gospel isn't just for
- 25:13Speaker 1: the gentile people. It's not for the black It's not
- 25:16Speaker 1: the white man's gospel. The gospel is about Jesus Christ
- 25:22Speaker 1: come to save the whole entire world. Hallelujah. Hey man,
- 25:29Speaker 1: let's take a quick break, y'all.
- 25:31Speaker 3: You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
- 25:35Speaker 3: is the Hiss hop radio show.
- 25:47Speaker 2: What do you believe?
- 25:48Speaker 1: What do you believe? I believe in God. I believe.
- 25:58Speaker 2: They like gun.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Not all the time.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I believe in what is in Seene, so I don't
- 26:12Speaker 2: lean on what's in my sight. Today I woke up
- 26:14Speaker 2: a new bean. All that's been cleaned for me through
- 26:16Speaker 2: the night. And you can't imagine if I die and
- 26:18Speaker 2: he showed the clips of me in my life, double lege.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Every time that I hit a script, it feel like
- 26:22Speaker 2: a knife transformation into mind. Now I got a different
- 26:25Speaker 2: look in my life. Only focus on right now because
- 26:28Speaker 2: the past. Don't even be hyping. Don't even mention the
- 26:31Speaker 2: light child without emphasis. Put on the light. And I
- 26:34Speaker 2: don't want to be in your top five unless the
- 26:35Speaker 2: phone top of me. Christ Christ CHRISTU Cola. Can't nobody
- 26:39Speaker 2: take the zeal me and God on contract? Why would
- 26:42Speaker 2: I take a deal? Guard your heart put up a fight.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I gotta sing in the wheels. If you in the
- 26:48Speaker 2: dark and looking for light, I know who can pay
- 26:49Speaker 2: the bills.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I could give you a name for real. Christ Christ.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, come get your electricity, the power of yours. No
- 26:57Speaker 2: matter p's a necessary. The past is gone, it ain't
- 26:58Speaker 2: gonna be no memory. Got expicially for a light to
- 27:01Speaker 2: carry out the gospel energy he'd be granting, which is
- 27:04Speaker 2: like an I parent. I feel like Timmerthie Turner. I'm
- 27:07Speaker 2: just a server. I don't expect him to owe me nothing.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I am the lesson to him, he go before me.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Treat him like I owed the cousin. No requests when
- 27:13Speaker 2: I check in, because as a lately I don't have
- 27:15Speaker 2: a want for nothing. It's a struggle for me to
- 27:17Speaker 2: stay pressed in. But as a lately I feel like
- 27:18Speaker 2: I hold the button when the flesh is open. I
- 27:20Speaker 2: don't look at the menu because I can't risk it
- 27:22Speaker 2: being in pollution. We already know he built this temple.
- 27:24Speaker 2: What I look like tearing down the institution forgiveness that
- 27:26Speaker 2: fell on the kid, and that's what got rid of
- 27:28Speaker 2: what had me in retribution. It's hard to know what
- 27:30Speaker 2: I did when all of my sins already had an execution.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Don't even mention the light child without emphasis. Put on
- 27:36Speaker 2: the light. And I don't want to be in your
- 27:38Speaker 2: top five unless the phone top of me is Christ,
- 27:40Speaker 2: Christ Christ, Yes, holda. I think all of my tests
- 27:43Speaker 2: I'm finished. It's the return of the annoint, and now
- 27:45Speaker 2: all of my flesh diminished. When I'm in the floor,
- 27:48Speaker 2: I gotta spark head up. I gotta test the limits.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I got the bars up. When I be charged up,
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm like a tesla in it. That's why I ain't
- 27:54Speaker 2: gotta check the engine. Holder Wait, when what I even
- 27:58Speaker 2: checked the engine? I don't know how to stop. I
- 27:59Speaker 2: could never skip over scripture. When it comes to the word,
- 28:02Speaker 2: I don't know how to hop. God said, put my
- 28:03Speaker 2: soul in it when I talk, and that's how I'm
- 28:05Speaker 2: gonna No, it's gonna pop. Shoes got holes in them
- 28:07Speaker 2: because of this walk. It feels like I'm going at crocs.
- 28:10Speaker 2: The bars make them take heed, so they want to
- 28:12Speaker 2: know when I drop. Its God written, that's what I thow.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Be clean.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I'm not even holding a mop. I was in vain
- 28:17Speaker 2: till I had the scripture. He gave it and told
- 28:18Speaker 2: me to go to the top.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I had to.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Satan ride out of the picture. He ain't even know
- 28:21Speaker 2: that the photo was crossed. Where Let's look at the evolution.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Every day I'll run into a problem, but all of
- 28:28Speaker 2: them come with a resolution. I had to make some choices.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Gave him my all repap and the revolution. It's the
- 28:33Speaker 2: return of the annoyance. And my thought came to a conclusion.
- 29:01Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 29:04Speaker 3: is the His Hop radio show.
- 29:24Speaker 1: All right, all right, we are back from the break.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm your boy, mister His Hot This is the His
- 29:30Speaker 1: Hot Radio podcast. We go live every day at eleven
- 29:35Speaker 1: o'clock Pacific Standard time here in Las Vegas. Meet us
- 29:39Speaker 1: in the live chat. I want to say, what's up
- 29:41Speaker 1: to our brother's Zone three, what's up to our brother
- 29:44Speaker 1: Corinth for faithfully showing up. And if you want to
- 29:48Speaker 1: be a part of the family, make sure you log
- 29:50Speaker 1: into that live chat on the His Hot Radio app.
- 29:54Speaker 1: And I do want to say today is Martin Luther
- 29:57Speaker 1: King Day, Martin Luther King's birthday. We want to shout
- 30:00Speaker 1: out to everyone who is out there enjoined the Martin
- 30:08Speaker 1: Luther King Parade. This is a great message for today,
- 30:13Speaker 1: right breaking down walls in scripture, we're talking out talking
- 30:18Speaker 1: about Peter walking into the house of a gentile man,
- 30:23Speaker 1: something that was unlawful for a Jewish man to do. Hallelujah,
- 30:29Speaker 1: a man God breaks down walls. We love it, We
- 30:33Speaker 1: love it all. Right now it's time for our accountability
- 30:40Speaker 1: Partner segment. This segment right here was really placed on
- 30:43Speaker 1: my heart. Working the altar at church and noticing that
- 30:48Speaker 1: a lot of saints are still struggling with the same
- 30:52Speaker 1: sin they struggled with like a year ago, and asking
- 30:56Speaker 1: a question like where is the progression, where is the growth?
- 30:59Speaker 1: Where is the victory? And sometimes it could be because
- 31:03Speaker 1: we're out here trying to do it by ourselves. Right,
- 31:08Speaker 1: God designed it for us to disciple one another, to
- 31:13Speaker 1: be in fellowship one another. We're supposed to be doing
- 31:16Speaker 1: this walk together. We're supposed to have an accountability partner.
- 31:21Speaker 1: We're supposed to have someone that can pour into us,
- 31:24Speaker 1: right which I do. I have my pastor who pours
- 31:27Speaker 1: into me. We're supposed to have people that we can
- 31:30Speaker 1: pour into, all right. We're supposed to have a Timothy
- 31:36Speaker 1: in this right here. I do have people that I
- 31:39Speaker 1: pour into and I tell them to jump on the podcast.
- 31:43Speaker 1: This is a part of the process of discipleship. And
- 31:47Speaker 1: then we're supposed to have people that we can fellowship
- 31:50Speaker 1: right elbow to elbow, people that can hold us accountable,
- 31:54Speaker 1: people that we can bounce things off. You know, there's
- 31:57Speaker 1: different stages in this thing. Some things we can't break
- 32:01Speaker 1: unless we agree in prayer, all right. And I just
- 32:06Speaker 1: had a financial breakthrough just recently. Praise God, Amen. I'm
- 32:12Speaker 1: able to get caught up if it's able to get
- 32:14Speaker 1: out of debt. And I'm believing God that this is
- 32:17Speaker 1: the year of financial freedom. Allelujah. I proclaim it and
- 32:23Speaker 1: not proclaim it over your life as well. And so
- 32:27Speaker 1: if you want to go further in the Accountability Partner segment,
- 32:30Speaker 1: just hit that top left menu on the hiss Hop
- 32:33Speaker 1: Radio app find podcasts, click on the hiss Hop Radio
- 32:37Speaker 1: podcasts and go down until you see the form the
- 32:41Speaker 1: Accountability Partner. Go through all the questions, go through all
- 32:45Speaker 1: the steps. I promise you it'll help you. And also
- 32:49Speaker 1: there's an option to get a follow up. So if
- 32:52Speaker 1: you leave your email address, phone number or whatever and
- 32:55Speaker 1: you are like one of us to pray for you,
- 32:58Speaker 1: we would love to do so, and we can actually
- 33:02Speaker 1: invite you onto the podcast and we can kind of
- 33:05Speaker 1: walk through the process together if you'll like to do that,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and if you'll like to minister and encourage other people, hallelujah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: And also we have a daily challenge, and this challenge
- 33:18Speaker 1: for today is call your accountability partner and just have
- 33:23Speaker 1: this conversation and ask a question. Who is God calling
- 33:27Speaker 1: you to listen to. There's some people that God just
- 33:32Speaker 1: wants you to listen to and not necessarily correct them
- 33:35Speaker 1: or try to con victim. They just want your ear.
- 33:40Speaker 1: They just want to be able to express what God
- 33:43Speaker 1: is doing in their lives right or the questions that
- 33:45Speaker 1: they have amen. And so you can do that and
- 33:50Speaker 1: you can actually go back over this in the live
- 33:53Speaker 1: chat if you want to look at the questions and
- 33:56Speaker 1: everything that we got posted there. Also also we want
- 34:02Speaker 1: to give it quick update about his Hot Radio. We
- 34:06Speaker 1: are a monitored and a reporting efficient hip hop radio station.

- 35:11Speaker 1: and so get ready, get ready, Get ready. Make sure
- 35:15Speaker 1: you go over to the life chat so you can
- 35:17Speaker 1: be the first one to post the answer. Now you
- 35:21Speaker 1: know our brother's own three has always been the ringing
- 35:24Speaker 1: champ Brother Corinth. He was showing a little competition, but
- 35:29Speaker 1: he fell off for a minute. But we're inviting you
- 35:31Speaker 1: to come back, and we're inviting everyone who's listening to
- 35:35Speaker 1: this podcast to join in as well. All right now,
- 35:42Speaker 1: the question is what Roman city was Cornelius stationed in?
- 35:50Speaker 1: Once again, what Roman City was Connelius stationed in? Let's
- 35:57Speaker 1: go over to the live chat. Let's who's gonna be
- 36:01Speaker 1: the first one to answer? Do you have any new
- 36:03Speaker 1: contenders today? Amen? Well, while we're here, let's look at
- 36:12Speaker 1: the trivia question from our last episode. The question was
- 36:18Speaker 1: how many men came looking for Peter? If you remember
- 36:24Speaker 1: our last episode, how many men came looking for Peter?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Let me see who got this role? Right? Let me see? Okay,
- 36:38Speaker 1: it looks like no one got this one, and so
- 36:49Speaker 1: I guess we're gonna leave that blank for now. If
- 36:53Speaker 1: you want to answer last weeks and this week's you're
- 36:56Speaker 1: gonna get extra credit. How many men can look look
- 37:00Speaker 1: for Peter during this whole situation? I like that. That's
- 37:06Speaker 1: pretty cool. All right now, time for our community shout outs.
- 37:16Speaker 1: If you have an event or something going on and
- 37:21Speaker 1: you're outreaching and you're reaching our community. Let us know
- 37:25Speaker 1: so we can announce it for you. We can get
- 37:28Speaker 1: it out there if you need volunteers, have people to
- 37:31Speaker 1: help pass out flyers, things like that. We want to
- 37:34Speaker 1: announce it right here on the podcast. So if you
- 37:38Speaker 1: go to His Hot Radio and then you click on
- 37:42Speaker 1: the podcast icon on the homepage, you'll see where you
- 37:46Speaker 1: fill out the information so that you can send out
- 37:50Speaker 1: your announcement. Amen, And right now we're gonna shout out
- 37:56Speaker 1: the Martin Luther King Parade or Martin Luther the King
- 38:00Speaker 1: stood for He was a very pivotal point in our
- 38:04Speaker 1: country to get over these walls of segregation. And we
- 38:11Speaker 1: believe that God did a mighty work through this man.
