Speaker 1: Three-hour tour Yep, yeah, all right.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: So now that I've completely blown this intro, you lost your place again.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: You know, I was over here turning all these pages and I forgot to turn that page.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: Oh, you go, Bob Seger the difference between that page and this page is A and B, that's it A and B.
• 1:22
Speaker 2: That's it and the date.
• 1:24
Speaker 3: Good thing we didn't throw a number in there.
• 1:25
Speaker 2: If we threw a number in there, they'd really mess them up.
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: A, b, C, d, e, F, g, three, Seven.
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: That's it, Squirrel.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: You know it isn't often that we bring back a guest from the first hour to the second hour but, believe it or not, we've been watching and she has been hanging on for the entire 45 minutes.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: It's taken to get back to her because we're going to revisit the Savoy Auto Museum, automobile Museum.
• 1:54
Speaker 2: She's more dedicated to the show than we are, than we are.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: And knows more about it now than I do.
• 1:59
Speaker 1: Clearly, god, it's Mary Agruza, with the Savoy Automobile Museum in the bustling metropolis of Cartersville, georgia, between Atlanta and Chattanooga.
• 2:12
Speaker 1: There you go Absolutely.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: That's where we are you know somebody had an argument it's not Chattanooga.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: Okay, then what is it?
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: It's Chattanooga.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: I don't know of anybody that pronounces it like that, the way that you do, ma'am, you pronounce it your way.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: I'll pronounce it my way.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: My mother was from the south, from Birmingham, alabama, and it was always Chattanooga.
• 2:36
Speaker 3: That's the only way I've ever heard it.
• 2:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, but this woman was insistent.
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: I'm not a scholar.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: I was born and raised in Chattanooga, okay.
• 2:44
  Speaker 3: Good for you.
• 2:45
  Speaker 3: I like it.
• 2:48
Speaker 3: That gives you 10 gold stars.
• 2:51
Speaker 3: That's it Exactly so anyway, we got the technology working.
• 2:55
Speaker 3: The Gimola seems to be happy.
• 2:57
Speaker 3: So the video will be a lot better this time.
• 3:00
Speaker 3: Okay, well, that's great.
• 3:00
Speaker 2: There was nothing wrong with it.
• 3:01
Speaker 2: Before I was going to say it's perfectly fine.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: So last hour we talked about barn finds that's part of your museum and then we went on and talked about glass cars, fiberglass cars.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: So what are you going to show us this time?
• 3:16
Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to flip the camera around and you're going to get to see some Studebakers, studebakers, these are Studebakers.
• 3:27
Speaker 3: Bakers, studebakers, these are studebakers.
• 3:28
Speaker 3: Uh, about half the cars in here that you're going to see we own.
• 3:30
Speaker 3: The other half, with the exception of one, came from the studebaker museum.
• 3:31
Speaker 3: This is one of their cars.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: This is a 1927 president lincoln, and I hope I can get close enough down there in the wheel.
• 3:39
Speaker 3: Well, um, if you look really closely, you're going to see like what looks like a white strip of cloth yeah, we see it.
• 3:46
Speaker 3: That's the shock absorber system.
• 3:47
Speaker 3: It's like the harford shocks that were on the ss1 you dial it so you can change it depending on what your road conditions are.
• 3:55
Speaker 3: And so this is the oldest one that we have, 1927.
• 3:59
Speaker 3: From there on we have cars from every decade, going up until the very end, which was was the Lark and the Avanti.
• 4:06
Speaker 3: The Lark and the Avanti, nice car, chelsea, you really feel.
• 4:09
Speaker 3: What you notice on this.
• 4:12
Speaker 3: I hope you can see it is this has a curved glass partition.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you can see it.
• 4:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, and curved glass back in the 20s, that was a big deal of curved glass back in the 20s, that was a big deal.
• 4:26
Speaker 3: Now, I'm not sure if your listeners are aware of the fact that Abraham Lincoln probably knew about the Studebaker, probably even drove one.
• 4:32
Speaker 3: Really, that's because Studebaker, before they ever made cars, they wound up being the largest manufacturer worldwide of wooden wagons.
• 4:42
Speaker 3: Carriages yeah, they built the Conestoga wagons that took everybody out west.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: I had no clue about that no, that was their core business and then in about.
• 4:51
Speaker 3: So that was when the first, when the original brothers started the company.
• 4:55
Speaker 3: By the time the second generation came along, that is when uh cars were starting to come in, and so the son of one of the founders the son-in-law of one of the founders convinced their uh board of directors that they needed to go into building cars, and so they started out with electric cars, and thomas edison owned one of theirs, drove it for 23 years at his home in florida, so it finally okay.
• 5:19
Speaker 3: I guess the battery finally died or whatever.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: He couldn't recycle the batteries or whatever.
• 5:25
Speaker 3: They started, they did a couple of partnerships with a couple other companies and then they went out on their own and the goal was to be just like Ford.
• 5:34
Speaker 3: Unfortunately, they never got that big as Ford.
• 5:37
Speaker 3: One of the mistakes they made and this is where this car right here is a Rockne.
• 5:42
Speaker 3: I'm not sure if you're familiar with that.
• 5:44
Speaker 3: Try, where this car right here is a Rockne.
• 5:46
Speaker 3: I'm not sure if you're familiar with that.
• 5:48
Speaker 3: This was sort of like what Lexus, what Toyota, and Lexus is where Toyota owns Lexus, but they spun off another brand.
• 5:54
Speaker 3: Well, that's what they did with the Rockne, and they had a lot of.
• 5:56
Speaker 3: Their cars were sort of like Packard in the upper end.
• 5:59
Speaker 3: They really didn't dabble in low price cars.
• 6:03
Speaker 3: They tried one which was called the Erskine, but they really weren't into it.
• 6:07
Speaker 3: They didn't support it.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: Well, they were having trouble making ends meet.
• 6:11
Speaker 3: And so there were two gentlemen that had designed a car for Willis took it to Willis.
• 6:17
Speaker 3: Willis couldn't afford it.
• 6:18
Speaker 3: They just didn't have the money.
• 6:19
Speaker 3: And so, on a whim, one of the guys was on vacation.
• 6:23
Speaker 3: He took the prototype down to Studebaker.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: Studebaker loved it, hired the guys on the spot, bought the design on the spot and they spun off a company called Rockne.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: As in Newt Rockne.
• 6:35
Speaker 3: That is in Newt Rockne.
• 6:36
Speaker 3: He actually worked for them at one point.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: Oh my God, he was done coaching.
• 6:41
Speaker 3: He traveled around and was like a motivational speaker when they did sales meetings.
• 6:46
Speaker 3: Well, this was their answer to a low-priced car, and the good news was it was wildly successful.
• 6:53
Speaker 3: Within eight months of being launched, it was the eighth most popular selling car in the United.
• 6:59
  Speaker 2: States.
• 7:00
Speaker 3: The bad news was in 1933, studebaker went into receivership because they were in bad shape from the Depression.
• 7:06
Speaker 3: When they came out two years later the Rockne was gone and so they dabbled with that little lower price line.
• 7:13
  Speaker 3: It didn't work.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: I mean it worked but because of their finances it didn't last and when they came back out of receivership the Rockne name was gone and unfortunately Newt died in 1931.
• 7:25
Speaker 3: He never got to see the car with his name on it.
• 7:28
Speaker 3: Now this one is sort of an interesting story.
• 7:31
Speaker 3: This is the 48 Starliner Coupe.
• 7:34
Speaker 3: We've referred to this as the coming and going car because if you look at the front and you look at the back it's kind of hard to tell the difference.
• 7:42
Speaker 3: And the interesting thing for Studebaker during the war the big three had this gentleman's agreement that there would be no design work going.
• 7:51
Speaker 3: Now look at the back of this car Got the huge wraparound window.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: And people said, it's hard to tell if the car is coming or going.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: My brother had a hand-me-down and it was drab green because nobody ever washed it to the point where you know put wax on it.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: And I asked him before he died.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: I said whatever happened to that car?
• 8:14
Speaker 1: He says oh, I didn't tell you.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: I said no, he said some truck came along, hit the back end of it, pushed the back bumper up to right behind the front seat and that was the end of the car.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: I thought, oh, what a fitting end to that car.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: I was never a fan of that.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: I thought it was as ugly as the day is long.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: But that's just me.
• 8:35
Speaker 3: Well, now, one thing that's interesting about them.
• 8:37
Speaker 3: Because the Big Three couldn't run their design studios Studebaker didn't have a design studio, they had Raymond Lowy.
• 8:42
Speaker 3: So studios Studebaker didn't have a design studio, they had Raymond Lowy.
• 8:43
Speaker 3: So they had no gentleman's agreement.
• 8:45
Speaker 3: So when the war ended, the big three had to crank out the old stuff that they had.
• 8:49
Speaker 3: Raymond Lowy had new designs and this was one of them, and so they called this the first by far of the post-war car, and people loved it because it was different.
• 8:59
Speaker 3: Now there's a trick that they had here that they used, that they used again Back before this time.
• 9:04
Speaker 3: They had here that they used, that they used again back before this time.
• 9:05
Speaker 3: They had what they called the slab side.
• 9:07
Speaker 3: The side of the car was flat, and yet here they have a bumped out back fender.
• 9:12
Speaker 3: Now studer baker could not afford to go ahead and redo the whole body, so this is bolted on wow.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: So in other words, you could actually tub that car out very, very easily by taking the fenders I was thinking the same thing.
• 9:26
Speaker 2: But make it, put a bigger, deeper fender on it.
• 9:28
Speaker 2: I mean, it would be nothing that would be a truck.
• 9:30
Speaker 2: You take truck fenders and bolt them on there.
• 9:33
  Speaker 2: That's it.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: Sorry, mary okay so so now going to the 50s, and the big thing is the fins.
• 9:39
  Speaker 3: And they have.
• 9:41
Speaker 3: What do you do?
• 9:41
Speaker 3: You know you have a car and so you do the next best thing.
• 9:45
Speaker 3: This is a golden hawk and I hope I can find it, because this fin right there is bolted on.
• 9:52
Speaker 3: They simply took what they had the original time.
• 9:56
Speaker 3: They did it out of fiberglass.
• 9:57
Speaker 3: After that, because it worked, they made it out of steel and they just bolted a fin on the back of the car.
• 10:02
Speaker 3: So it kind of looks like a 57 Chevy Not quite exactly, but it's getting there.
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: Great car.
• 10:09
Speaker 3: I mean, this is like the first American muscle car.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: I was going to say because that thing was fast.
• 10:13
Speaker 1: My good friend Puss Wilson's brother had a car.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: That car and we all made fun of it but it beat all the cars on the street.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: And the other thing about it was very interesting it's so low to the ground it would not go over a beer can.
• 10:31
Speaker 3: Well, this had a supercharged engine.
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 10:34
Speaker 3: They called it the family sports car.
• 10:36
Speaker 3: But you know what the one option is that you had to buy with this Turn signals.
• 10:41
Speaker 3: It did not come stock with turn signals.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: That's where you use your arm out the window.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: We all learned that in driver's ed.
• 10:48
Speaker 3: Well, back in the day we did.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: Thank you, Mary, for pointing that out.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: Well, no, I think if you stuck your hand out the window today, nobody would know what you were talking about.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: You'd probably get shot, thinking that you were flipping them off or something.
• 11:02
Speaker 3: It's road rage, probably so.
• 11:03
Speaker 3: Now this is my absolutely least favorite car of all the Studebakers.
• 11:07
Speaker 3: This is the beloved Lark.
• 11:09
Speaker 3: They fired Raymond Lowy because they told him he was too European.
• 11:15
Speaker 3: He is not responsible for this.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: And I look at this and it says, okay, are they trying to mimic?
• 11:21
Speaker 3: You know, the Mercedes look?
• 11:23
Speaker 3: It just didn't work very well.
• 11:25
Speaker 3: It doesn't look like anything else, it's sort of boxy and ugly.
• 11:29
Speaker 3: But all things considered it didn't sell too bad.
• 11:32
Speaker 3: Except they came up with this Jeep version of it that had a retracting roof that leaked, and because they couldn't redo the stamping, well, you know, they tried all kinds of crazy things to fix it.
• 11:45
Speaker 3: So this is not my favorite car.
• 11:47
Speaker 3: Uh, every time I think of this car it reminds me of the locked cigarette commercial where the people were on the back of the truck and they would say show us your lock.
• 11:56
Speaker 3: And people would pull out the pack of cigarettes and then saturday night live did the joke about show us your gun, uh, and they did the whole spoof on that.
• 12:05
Speaker 3: But this car, to me, was just ugly.
• 12:07
Speaker 3: Now, my favorite story of this is in 1962.
• 12:10
Speaker 3: Uh, studebaker somehow got the indianapolis 500 to let the studebaker convertible be the pace car no of course the thing is, whoever wins the race gets the pace car, and so so.
• 12:23
Speaker 3: Roger Ford is the winner and he's going to be given a Lark convertible.
• 12:27
Speaker 3: I'm sorry, that's the booby prize.
• 12:29
  Speaker 3: The booby prize.
• 12:32
Speaker 3: Fortunately, that's not what he got.
• 12:35
Speaker 3: What he got was one of these, because the Avanti came out.
• 12:39
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember it yeah.
• 12:43
Speaker 3: Now his, I think, think, was custom done orange and yellow, uh, but he got the avanti and this is a raymond lowey creation, so they didn't want him.
• 12:52
Speaker 3: They bring him back.
• 12:53
Speaker 3: This is an absolutely gorgeous car.
• 12:55
Speaker 3: Doesn't look like anything that we were putting out in the 60s.
• 12:59
  Speaker 3: Beautiful, beautiful design.
• 13:01
Speaker 3: But unfortunatelyudebaker is like really going downhill financially fast.
• 13:07
Speaker 3: One of the reasons that this car did not sell as well as it could was because people were really skeptical the company was going to stay in business.
• 13:16
Speaker 3: They had closed the.
• 13:17
  Speaker 3: California plant.
• 13:18
Speaker 3: They'd closed the plant up in South Bend.
• 13:22
Speaker 3: They were down to one plant in Canada.
• 13:24
Speaker 3: And do you really want to buy a car from a company that you're not sure that they're going to be around a whole lot longer?
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: Exactly.
• 13:31
Speaker 3: So the Avante never really did sell.
• 13:34
Speaker 3: Also, it was for such a niche market.
• 13:37
Speaker 3: This was like a Corvette niche that they were going for and they needed something that was going to have broad mass appeal.
• 13:43
Speaker 3: This wasn't the car.
• 13:45
Speaker 3: So sometimes Studebaker made a lot of really dumb decisions financially, but the Avante absolutely beautiful.
• 13:53
Speaker 3: So I'm trying to look at my clock to see if we're going to take a real quick look to see if the street rides have come in.
• 14:01
  Speaker 1: Let's do that.
• 14:01
Speaker 3: They're starting to arrive and so we're going to zip out one of the back doors.
• 14:05
  Speaker 3: Here.
• 14:06
Speaker 3: You'll get to see the back of the theater, but we'll take a run out there because they should be arriving.
• 14:10
Speaker 1: You'll have a theater there too.
• 14:13
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, in fact, let me do this real quick.
• 14:16
Speaker 3: I'll take you into the theater.
• 14:18
Speaker 3: You can get to see what it looks like, because they're going to be doing a presentation, and then we'll work our way out the back and try to get outside.
• 14:25
Speaker 1: This place is huge.
• 14:27
Speaker 1: How many square feet do you have there?
• 14:29
Speaker 3: I think the building is a little over 60,000.
• 14:31
Speaker 3: Wow, now that's just the main proper here in the museum.
• 14:39
Speaker 3: We also have a big storage building outside.
• 14:41
Speaker 3: We also have a big pavilion that has picnic tables in it.
• 14:45
Speaker 3: So, yeah, they will have an awards ceremony in here.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: We could have Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes play in there.
• 14:54
Speaker 3: Hey, we're going to be having James Brown's cars here in March.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: And do you have any James Brown imitators that could come and do the ow?
• 15:04
Speaker 3: Okay, so this is the largest curve screen in the southeast.
• 15:07
Speaker 2: Step on a nail, you do that.
• 15:09
Speaker 3: I forget how many monitors there is, and so last night we had movie night.
• 15:13
Speaker 3: We have a presentation even going on, a second presentation going on tonight, but this is the theater.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: This is absolutely beautiful.
• 15:21
Speaker 1: I think that what you need to have is the I Feel Good, show down there.
• 15:28
  Speaker 2: James Brown.
• 15:29
Speaker 3: You know, hey, mary Well what we're going to do is in January is we're going to have an exhibit called Cartoons and that's going to be all cars that were tied into music.
• 15:41
Speaker 3: James Brown comes in in March, but once they bring in the cartoons, I'll do the rock and roll tour on the weekends.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: I love that and you're going to dance with the husband or whoever there at the museum.
• 15:54
  Speaker 3: He doesn't dance.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: Huh, he doesn't dance.
• 15:57
  Speaker 3: He's not a dancer.
• 15:58
Speaker 1: Well, you could find somebody there.
• 16:00
Speaker 3: Oh well, we're thinking about doing a dance here.
• 16:04
Speaker 2: Mary, are any of these cars for sale?
• 16:09
Speaker 3: that are in the museum.
• 16:10
Speaker 2: Yes, none of the private collections let me in our collection.
• 16:16
Speaker 3: No, uh, one of the fiberglass cars for things that come in that we don't own.
• 16:22
Speaker 3: Uh, sometimes they are like one of the fiberglass cars.
• 16:26
Speaker 3: Oh, everybody, I think we've got some people starting to arrive.
• 16:30
Speaker 1: Don't let the door close behind you, Mary.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: You'll never get back in.
• 16:34
Speaker 3: Oh, I got the magic pass I can get in All right.
• 16:36
Speaker 3: So just to give you an idea, this is our parking lot.
• 16:42
Speaker 3: The building over here that you're going to be seeing is the pavilion you've got cars on display out there too well, because everybody's coming to see the street rods.
• 16:51
Speaker 3: I mean, this place is jammed because they all know the street rods are going to be coming, so it looks like we're already starting to get some of them.
• 16:58

• 21:02
  Speaker 2: Jeffrey.
• 21:02
  Speaker 2: Okay, here's what I got.
• 21:03
Speaker 2: Now you're talking about Florida and dealerships, how they're kind of corrupt down there in Florida.
• 21:08
Speaker 2: Some of them are.
• 21:08
Speaker 2: Well, this comes from Florida as well.
• 21:10
Speaker 2: Florida's attempting to crack down a problem driver's exceeding the speed limit, performing stunts behind the wheel House.
• 21:18
Speaker 2: Bill 351 is called the Dangerous, Excessive Speeding Law.
• 21:22
Speaker 2: It became law on midnight July 1st.
• 21:26
Speaker 2: The law, which imposes higher penalties for drivers exceeding the speed limit by 50 miles an hour or hitting at least 100, was put to the test a few minutes after the law went into effect, Running 104 miles per hour in a 70 zone.
• 21:42
Speaker 2: Classified as a super speeder, which that name came to be because a child was killed in a speed crash, a Buick Envision hits triple digits as the first one to break the law.
• 21:53
Speaker 2: According to body cam released by the Orange County Sheriff, an unnamed driver in Orange County was caught doing 104 miles an hour in a 24 or 25 Buick Envision.
• 22:05
  Speaker 2: That's my car.
• 22:06
Speaker 2: So the driver was informed of the new law.
• 22:10
  Speaker 2: He was arrested.
• 22:11
Speaker 2: He's going to face a fine, 30 days in jail, all that good stuff that because you broke the law.
• 22:17
Speaker 2: Traffic stops have been released at this time.
• 22:20
Speaker 2: The Orange County Sheriff says that since the beginning of the year, he has stopped over 100 people doing over 100 miles an hour.
• 22:27
Speaker 1: Join me on the South Sam Houston Tollway anytime and I can guarantee you there will be at least one that will blow by me doing at least 100 miles an hour.
• 22:37
Speaker 2: I've been to Florida, we've all been to Florida.
• 22:39
Speaker 2: It's not really a fast-paced state in my opinion, no, but you've got those scofflaws, yeah, all that.
• 22:46
Speaker 2: And then you've got people that buy Buick and Visions.
• 22:49
Speaker 2: They just want to exercise them and get them out there.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: You sure are nuts.
• 22:58
Speaker 1: All right Time now for this hour's car review.
• 23:00
Speaker 1: I had a chance to drive the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica.
• 23:04
Speaker 1: Yes, it's a minivan, if you want to call it that.
• 23:07
Speaker 1: There's nothing really mini about it anymore.
• 23:09
Speaker 1: Final assembly location Windsor, ontario, canada.
• 23:13
Speaker 1: Available trim levels of the Pacifica the Select PHEV, which stands for Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Limited.
• 23:22
Speaker 1: The FAVE edition or FAV edition, however you'd like to pronounce it FAV edition, and it says it on the side of it.
• 23:31
Speaker 1: They also have it in the PHEV.
• 23:33
Speaker 1: The premium FAV, fav appearance PHEV.
• 23:38
Speaker 1: And the pinnacle and pinnacle PHEV.
• 23:41
Speaker 1: I had the limited all-wheel drive.
• 23:45
  Speaker 1: It's a minivan.
• 23:46
Speaker 1: Seats seven, redesigned in 2017, so yeah, it's getting a little long in the tooth but it still works.
• 23:54
Speaker 1: You know Exterior features car-like front fascia with laid-back aero windshield.
• 24:02
Speaker 1: Sweeping roofline it kind of dips down in the back just a touch.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: You can see it there With the blacked-out B and C pillars.
• 24:11
Speaker 1: Slide-open passenger doors, handy for backseat passengers, and parking lots.
• 24:19
Speaker 1: Huge, easy opening lift gate in the back end.
• 24:24
Speaker 1: But I liked the best looking minivan despite its age.
• 24:29
Speaker 1: I truly believe that.
• 24:31
  Speaker 1: Look at it.
• 24:31
Speaker 1: Looks good, don't you think?
• 24:33
Speaker 2: I like it, I particularly like the white model?
• 24:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, I do too.
• 24:36
Speaker 1: The black wheels and the black grille.
• 24:37
  Speaker 1: It looks good.
• 24:38
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 24:39
  Speaker 1: I put a question mark because I don't know.
• 24:42
Speaker 1: Interior highlights, seating surfaces kid-proof, yet comfortable.
• 24:47
Speaker 1: Infotainment screen is small by comparison to other screens these days, but it's built in between the air vents.
• 24:56
  Speaker 1: I like that a lot.
• 24:57
Speaker 1: Lots of cubbies add storage nooks for tons of stuff throughout the cabin.
• 25:03
Speaker 1: Top-notch pinnacle trim has uber-luxe upholstery.
• 25:08
Speaker 1: Boy, I'll tell you what I mean it seriously.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: They went to the upholstery shop and say goose it up, and they did Storage room like a concert venue.
• 25:19
Speaker 1: What I liked about it?
• 25:21
Speaker 1: The dual sunroof panels for kids and stow-and-go seating so the kids can enjoy the sunroof too.
• 25:28
Speaker 1: Not now because it's a little too warm here in Texas, but it works for all the kids.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 25:36
Speaker 1: How about a bigger infotainment screen?
• 25:39
Speaker 1: Use it as an option.
• 25:40
Speaker 1: I don't know what their plans are for the Pacifica.
• 25:42
Speaker 1: It's the only vehicle actually right now that Chrysler builds.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: It comes with the venerable 3.6 liter V6 engine, has 287 horsepower They've been building the thing forever 262 pound-feet of torque, nine-speed automatic transmission with a tow rating of 3,600 pounds.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: It gets 17 miles per gallon in the city, 25 on the highway for a combined of 20.
• 26:07
Speaker 1: I got 21.3 miles per gallon over 370 miles.
• 26:11
Speaker 1: What I like about it?
• 26:12
Speaker 1: The engine adequate power for a people hauler.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 26:18
Speaker 1: Maybe an optional engine?
• 26:21
Speaker 1: Maybe a turbo four?
• 26:22
Speaker 1: Do they have an electric version of it in the works?
• 26:29
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 26:30
Speaker 1: We haven't heard a lot about Chrysler lately, but I have a feeling that that name is going to reappear on people's radar and they're going to be coming out with more stuff here in the not too distant future.
• 26:45
Speaker 1: Ride and handling Nice.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 26:49
  Speaker 1: Nothing.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: Leave the ride and handling alone.
• 26:50
Speaker 1: Base trim price $52,565.
• 26:56
Speaker 1: Price is tested $59,165.
• 27:00
Speaker 1: And it's not the one, the pinnacle version, which is even more than that.
• 27:03
Speaker 1: But you can get into one of these for the low, low, low, low, low, low sale price of $42,450.
• 27:11
Speaker 2: When you figure for what you're getting for basically a family vehicle, it will haul the whole family.
• 27:17
Speaker 1: Let me tell you something.
• 27:18
Speaker 1: That stow and go seating system is something to see how it works.
• 27:23
Speaker 1: And when the seats are up, so the whole thing, it tumbles down into the floor.
• 27:27
Speaker 1: Put a lid over the top of it, that comes with it, obviously, and it's all flat back there, don't even know that there's seats involved.
• 27:34
Speaker 1: Then you put the seats up.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: Where the seats were in, the floor now becomes storage.
• 27:39
Speaker 1: So you want to take a big trip, you want to take the Christmas presents to Aunt Mary with the 10 kids?
• 27:44
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 27:45
Speaker 2: Well, I was thinking of something like you're going on vacation, you're taking a road trip, having that, and then you put the stow seats down and you get one of those air pumps and blow up a little air mattress and you can spend the night in there on a lake or something True.
• 27:59
Speaker 2: Put the beer in the below floor storage, or wine, as in your case.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: They probably even have those with little plugs in the bottom so they drain the boat.
