Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Maine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Magic Unfiltered or Scottie and
- 0:09Speaker 2: Abby Unfiltered, depending on where you're listening.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Now.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I do want to jump right into this because I
- 0:14Speaker 2: feel like I have completely screwed up when Abby and
- 0:16Speaker 2: I have gone out socially and we were talking about
- 0:19Speaker 2: this a little bit on Instagram, and so I wanted
- 0:20Speaker 2: to just dive deeper into this conversation because this is
- 0:24Speaker 2: how we evolve our friendship as a show, and honestly,
- 0:27Speaker 2: I think this is going to be the game changer
- 0:29Speaker 2: for our dating lives. And it's because I screwed up
- 0:32Speaker 2: how to wing woman for Abby over the weekend and
- 0:35Speaker 2: we're talking about this potentially spicy romance that happened over
- 0:41Speaker 2: the weekend.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Remember Tan dan Well.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I realized this morning as I was thinking about that,
- 0:48Speaker 2: because I think about you guys often, I was like, dang,
- 0:51Speaker 2: and I think I screwed up by, you know, pitching
- 0:54Speaker 2: you too hard.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And we talked about it on Instagram and you agreed.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Well, I don't think you screwed up. I don't think
- 1:00Speaker 3: you did anything wrong. I just think me and you
- 1:03Speaker 3: have different wingman love languages that part because I'm a
- 1:07Speaker 3: lot like you in the sense that I am very direct.
- 1:10Speaker 3: But when it comes to my love life, I do
- 1:13Speaker 3: like for things to progress naturally and not be too
- 1:17Speaker 3: hey what somebody like you, because that's never worked for
- 1:19Speaker 3: me in the past, so I like for things to
- 1:22Speaker 3: be a little bit more of a slow burn.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Well that's a good point, And actually I was thinking, like,
- 1:28Speaker 2: because we always joke that you've been single for so long.
- 1:31Speaker 3: So long is literally most my life?
- 1:33Speaker 1: That's okay?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Well in that case, like, would it be worth it
- 1:36Speaker 2: just changing it up completely?
- 1:37Speaker 3: But I'm typically very blunt, whereas all of the relationships
- 1:41Speaker 3: that have worked out for me in any capacity, whether
- 1:43Speaker 3: it's just like a situationship or something that maybe got
- 1:45Speaker 3: close to turning into a relationship, it's always been a
- 1:49Speaker 3: little bit of a slow burn.
- 1:50Speaker 2: So you like it to be something that just takes
- 1:53Speaker 2: its natural time. So let's just go back to Tan Dan.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Because what I did.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Do I forget the hot it's hot.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I know he's not just tan, he's also hot hot
- 2:03Speaker 1: Tan Dan.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Well, what I did that day is I saw this man,
- 2:07Speaker 2: he approached us, started having conversations, made sure that the
- 2:11Speaker 2: conversation always led to Abby somehow tried to find a
- 2:14Speaker 2: way that these two could have a conversation that would
- 2:17Speaker 2: He's like, yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I just drove in the other day and you're like, oh,
- 2:20Speaker 3: happy has a car. That's so funny. Abby also drives well.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Actually, one of the dumbest things I think now that
- 2:26Speaker 2: I look back on it, I was like, okay, well
- 2:27Speaker 2: you've been.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Here for a couple of years, Abby just moved here,
- 2:30Speaker 1: like what are the places that you recommend?
- 2:32Speaker 2: And it was like it just didn't go the way
- 2:34Speaker 2: I thought it would. It like simmered quick. It was
- 2:37Speaker 2: like when you try to start a fire and the
- 2:38Speaker 2: fire just dies out immediately.
- 2:41Speaker 3: He is this, maybe we just actually have zero chemistry
- 2:44Speaker 3: that honestly we're trying to make it work, and it's
- 2:46Speaker 3: just like not there.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You know what I was actually thinking of as I'm
- 2:49Speaker 2: like stepping back into conversations like should.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It be that easy or like should it be a
- 2:53Speaker 1: little bit.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Of work in the beginning, because I'm trying to remember
- 2:56Speaker 2: back in my previous relationships, and I think it is
- 3:00Speaker 2: a natural, just immediately great flow. But then if I
- 3:04Speaker 2: say that out loud, I think I'm kicking myself. I like,
- 3:06Speaker 2: maybe it is supposed to be a little uncomfortable as
- 3:08Speaker 2: you're finding your footing, but like, my dream relationship is
- 3:11Speaker 2: that that's why you watch too many movies, Like you
- 3:14Speaker 2: meet somebody and it's just automatic. You're flowing so intense
- 3:17Speaker 2: that it's like, oh my gosh, you guys couldn't stop
- 3:19Speaker 2: talking for six hours, and I'm like, yeah, we just
- 3:22Speaker 2: have that natural chemistry.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Is that real?
- 3:25Speaker 3: That's where my OCD kicks in a little bit to
- 3:27Speaker 3: where I am thinking, oh my gosh, we didn't really
- 3:30Speaker 3: hit it off, so it's probably not. So I'm probably
- 3:32Speaker 3: forcing something just because I like the way that he looks.
- 3:34Speaker 2: But I would like a second opportunity because it's like
- 3:36Speaker 2: you said, if there was too loud of an environment,
- 3:39Speaker 2: there wasn't the right setting to get to know each other,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I would That's my methodology right now is everyone deserves
- 3:45Speaker 2: two dates, two chances to prove yourself. The first one
- 3:48Speaker 2: you get the nerves out. It's a little awkward, let's
- 3:50Speaker 2: just sit in that awkwardness for a little bit. The
- 3:52Speaker 2: second one kind of decides do we have anything here
- 3:55Speaker 2: and if we do, let's pursue. If we don't, if
- 3:58Speaker 2: you go and talk to hot Tandan and it still
- 4:03Speaker 2: just falls flat.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Well, then I would say this is a lost cause,
- 4:06Speaker 1: let's leave it.
- 4:07Speaker 3: That's where I think i'm at. I've given so many
- 4:09Speaker 3: weird losers a second chance that I'm like, I need
- 4:12Speaker 3: to give hot Tandan a second, third, and fourth chance.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I'm forcing this square peg into the round hole.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Oh boy, I don't you know what. We're not going
- 4:22Speaker 2: to go down that rabbit hole. But I'm curious how many? Okay,
- 4:25Speaker 2: because this is something I've heard recently. You know what,
- 4:28Speaker 2: it's the Unfiltered podcast. Is there at a certain amount
- 4:32Speaker 2: of dates before even like you kiss somebody on a
- 4:34Speaker 2: date that you have in your head.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I think it just depends on the chemistry. I again,
- 4:38Speaker 3: like a little bit of a slow burn. I'm not
- 4:40Speaker 3: a proponent for kissing on the first date. I like
- 4:44Speaker 3: to leave a little bit of mystery, like for there
- 4:46Speaker 3: to be yearning and building intension. And I think when
- 4:50Speaker 3: you jump into soon it changes the pace of the relationship.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Okay, because that's what I'm hearing more of. It's like, Okay,
- 4:57Speaker 2: we don't want to just jump in bed. Want to
- 5:00Speaker 2: make sure that we actually have a connection. You're not
- 5:03Speaker 2: just going to like you know, bleat me and leave,
- 5:06Speaker 2: which I'm like, completely understandable.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's like having ice cream for breakfast. Ice Cream is
- 5:11Speaker 3: my favorite food. I could eat ice cream all day,
- 5:13Speaker 3: but at the end of the day, the ice cream
- 5:15Speaker 3: tastes better when I have it after I've consumed all
- 5:19Speaker 3: my protein, I've worked out for the day, I sit down,
- 5:21Speaker 3: I have my sweet treat, and I'm like, yes.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You've earned it, earned it.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So that's why I want him. I want the relationship
- 5:29Speaker 3: physicality to feel earned.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So instead of like, oh, I'm just I'm so hungry
- 5:33Speaker 2: right now, let me go ahead and just devour.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's what's impressive.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And again I'm not saying that like all men are
- 5:40Speaker 2: like this, but our male brains are usually like, I'm.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Hungry, let me eat ice cream for breakfast. I want
- 5:46Speaker 1: ice cream all the time.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And luckily for you know, if it's a guy going
- 5:49Speaker 2: after a girl, it's more like, hey, hungry man, like,
- 5:53Speaker 2: let's just chill out for a second, so we could
- 5:55Speaker 2: let this appetite truly build and so when you get it,
- 5:58Speaker 2: you fully appreciate it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And it's also it's a trust thing, is it not.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, we're in the sense when he when
- 6:05Speaker 3: we were at the rooftop bar and he said, oh,
- 6:08Speaker 3: do you want to go what or he didn't ask me.
- 6:10Speaker 3: He said, oh, I'm gonna go watch the sunset. I
- 6:12Speaker 3: was like, ice cream, But my friends are having ice
- 6:15Speaker 3: cream at the room next door for the for the
- 6:18Speaker 3: happy hour. I'm like, you don't want to go have
- 6:19Speaker 3: ice cream with this next story he's like, He's like, well,
- 6:21Speaker 3: I'm going to go have ice cream by myself watching
- 6:22Speaker 3: the sunset. That's what it sounded like to me. I'm like,
- 6:25Speaker 3: but but we all need to have ice cream together first.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't want to be alone eating ice cream
- 6:30Speaker 2: when you don't know how somebody eats ice cream.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I don't know how this person eats ice cream, do
- 6:33Speaker 3: I what if we don't like the same flavor? You
- 6:36Speaker 3: know what I mean. I'm looking, you look great on
- 6:38Speaker 3: the shelf. The ice cream looks really good. But no,
- 6:46Speaker 3: that's not even Sorry this metaphor, this metaphor is going
- 6:49Speaker 3: there the wrong direction. I was trying to make a
- 6:51Speaker 3: metaphor out of this. It's not working. But yeah, he
- 6:54Speaker 3: was like. I was like, it might be I don't
- 6:55Speaker 3: know that I want to eat ice cream with you
- 6:57Speaker 3: right now. I know that I want to eat ice
- 6:58Speaker 3: cream in my friends have ice cream with me and
- 7:00Speaker 3: my friend.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I think I took ice cream in the wrong way. Yeah, okay,
- 7:05Speaker 2: so I guess in summary. Okay, okay, so next time,
- 7:08Speaker 2: I don't really even need to serve you up. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: just need to you just were together in an environment. Yes,
- 7:13Speaker 2: that does enough. You don't need an introduction, you don't
- 7:15Speaker 2: need any pivot.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You're good.
- 7:18Speaker 3: You put it this way, so you know how we
- 7:20Speaker 3: were talking about. I can't remember what the conversation was,
- 7:23Speaker 3: but you said something along the lines of I want
- 7:26Speaker 3: to be invited to feel like I have permission to
- 7:28Speaker 3: be there.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Does that make sense? Yes, for me to.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Feel comfortable in a social setting, sometimes you just need
- 7:34Speaker 3: the invite. And you talking to another guy and me
- 7:38Speaker 3: and you being friends is the equivalent of me feeling
- 7:41Speaker 3: like I got the invite. Oh, you two are having
- 7:44Speaker 3: a party. I don't want to crash your party because
- 7:46Speaker 3: I don't want if this guy is not interested in
- 7:48Speaker 3: having me at the party, I don't want to feel
- 7:50Speaker 3: like I'm crashing it. But if I'm at the party
- 7:52Speaker 3: and me and him are both having fun at the party,
- 7:54Speaker 3: then I feel as if things can naturally progress.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Okay, that makes sense. I like that because that is
- 7:58Speaker 2: going to be the next setting when we go out.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I don't know the next time we're going out, but oh, tomorrow, we're.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Going to Tomorrow. We're gonna see Hot Tadam. Wait, did
- 8:07Speaker 3: we figure out where Hot tan Dan lives?
- 8:08Speaker 1: I have no idea. I think he lives writ in
- 8:10Speaker 1: downtown Saint Pete. He does, actually I have his exact assress. No,
- 8:15Speaker 1: absolutely not, and I don't know that would be insane.
- 8:18Speaker 2: But we're going out tomorrow because we're doing like a
- 8:21Speaker 2: whole Radiothon event. And then afterwards we're going back to
- 8:23Speaker 2: the Moxie where all this took place.
- 8:26Speaker 3: We need to invite him out tomorrow. I need to
- 8:29Speaker 3: get this off my mental plate.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I have no connection to him. If I did, I
- 8:33Speaker 2: probably would have served too hard. So yeah, I have nothing.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Alexia has everything. She's the key. You can get her
- 8:40Speaker 2: to reach out and set something up that seems professional,
- 8:43Speaker 2: but we all know here it's not.
- 8:46Speaker 3: We're having a business meeting at the Moxie tomorrow.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Gosh. I just maybe.
- 8:52Speaker 2: See I'm just somebody I like answers, and maybe that's
- 8:54Speaker 2: what's gotten me in trouble in the past of like
- 8:55Speaker 2: even just dming people home.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because you have to play the social game of
- 8:59Speaker 3: it all, because, like you said, you want how do
- 9:01Speaker 3: you want your love story to go? Do you want
- 9:03Speaker 3: it to be like, hey, you do you want to
- 9:05Speaker 3: date me or not? That's not you know, you gotta
- 9:06Speaker 3: have to like let this the You have to let
- 9:08Speaker 3: things build.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think it's at a certain point too.
- 9:11Speaker 2: You also got to like make the move. You're playing chess.
- 9:13Speaker 2: How long are you don't to think about that move before
- 9:15Speaker 2: you decide I'm gonna go ahead and make the move.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I like how we're using so many metaphors ice cream
- 9:18Speaker 1: and beaches.
- 9:19Speaker 3: We're being too cryptic. Well, I think him making the
- 9:23Speaker 3: move by asking me to go, not even asking by.
- 9:25Speaker 1: That's what I want to He didn't ask. He just
- 9:27Speaker 1: said that he's.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Going to the h He just said what are you
- 9:29Speaker 3: doing after this? And I know when when I vocalize
- 9:31Speaker 3: it out loud, it sounds as if he's asking me out.
- 9:34Speaker 3: But we had What I'm trying to convey is that
- 9:37Speaker 3: we were really not having a full on conversation to
- 9:40Speaker 3: where it sounded like he was asking me, well, what
- 9:43Speaker 3: are you doing after this? It didn't sound like.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That he was just check it in on you.
- 9:46Speaker 3: It sounded literally as if he just goes, what are
- 9:49Speaker 3: you doing after this? That's all? Yeah, that's that was
- 9:52Speaker 3: more of the inflection to where it kind of caught
- 9:55Speaker 3: me off guard because we went from just kind of
- 9:58Speaker 3: having this weird on a off conversation of where are
- 10:01Speaker 3: you from, what.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Do you do?
- 10:03Speaker 3: We're not even really in a conversation. We're just sort
- 10:05Speaker 3: of in and out of this of this of this chat,
- 10:08Speaker 3: if that makes sense, and then all of a sudden
- 10:10Speaker 3: it was, well, I'm going to the sunset. It just
- 10:12Speaker 3: wasn't an It wasn't a clean pivot. It wasn't avens
- 10:15Speaker 3: if we were vibing and he he said to me,
- 10:17Speaker 3: let's let's go to the sunset.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Now, would you rather go to the sunset with me?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Would that have worked?
- 10:21Speaker 2: No?
- 10:22Speaker 3: We well, no, I'm trying to think of what I
- 10:25Speaker 3: would have wanted to do. And he had been drinking
- 10:27Speaker 3: and he might have been a little nervous. I think
- 10:30Speaker 3: at the end of the day, I'm having a hard
- 10:31Speaker 3: time figuring out where his head was at. I'm like,
- 10:34Speaker 3: was he just coming to find someone to hook up
- 10:35Speaker 3: with and he was just willing to take anybody because
- 10:37Speaker 3: he was mingling with a lot of girls.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I think he's mingling that he was mingling with me,
- 10:41Speaker 2: he's mingling with married women. Like it's just everybody I know.
- 10:44Speaker 3: So when he asked me to go to the sunset,
- 10:46Speaker 3: I it sounded to me because it was such a
- 10:48Speaker 3: hard pivot. It was it felt as if he wanted
- 10:51Speaker 3: to go have ice cream with me on the beach.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Oh you know what I mean.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, if we're talking about the same ice cream now,
- 10:57Speaker 2: now I'm lost.
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's ice cream.
- 10:59Speaker 3: That's when it's like to me because it was such
- 11:01Speaker 3: a hard pivot.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, okay, cool.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Like I wish alone he should have just been like, hey,
- 11:05Speaker 3: do you do you need a drink? Do you want
- 11:06Speaker 3: to go grab a drink at the bar? That would
- 11:08Speaker 3: have been an easier serve for him.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Curious okay, because now I got it. Now I have
- 11:13Speaker 2: it with you, like okay, yeah, yeah, sweet, next time
- 11:15Speaker 2: we go out in settings like I'm just gonna let
- 11:16Speaker 2: Abby fly.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Aby's got it.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I just need to be in the environment. Yeah, I
- 11:20Speaker 3: need to have environment, have permission to be in the environment.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Okay, And let it naturally just do its thing. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 2: got it, love it. I'm still happy I did it
- 11:27Speaker 2: at the time because I think it's still funny. But
- 11:29Speaker 2: now going forward, there's gonna be a lot more mens
- 11:31Speaker 2: events that were going to and there's gonna be a
- 11:33Speaker 2: lot more opportunity.
- 11:34Speaker 3: And I don't think you throwing out something that sounds
- 11:37Speaker 3: natural to the conversation that points out that I'm single,
- 11:40Speaker 3: because I think we did at one point come up
- 11:42Speaker 3: with a wayist to bring up relationships into the conversation. Yes,
- 11:45Speaker 3: me and you were standing there, We're in a little
- 11:47Speaker 3: dance circle, and how did it come up?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well, people either think I'm I'm either with you or
- 11:53Speaker 2: I'm gay.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how that setting felt. So I was like
- 11:56Speaker 1: trying to make it very like organic, like, hey, by
- 11:59Speaker 1: the way, I'm single, Damn.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Damn, you said something along the lines of your single.
- 12:05Speaker 3: And then I added I was like, oh, yeah, this
- 12:07Speaker 3: is how I threw in that I was single. I
- 12:09Speaker 3: told him, yeah, I'm teaching Scotty how to be single
- 12:12Speaker 3: for the first time. He's never single, and I think
- 12:14Speaker 3: you asked him about his relationship.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I did, I know.
- 12:17Speaker 2: See, I told you. I think we did it on
- 12:18Speaker 2: another part, I like a deep question. So I was like,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I didn't mind not I didn't either, but it felt
- 12:22Speaker 2: like he did.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It felt like he was.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Like, well, he did just get out of a relationship.
- 12:25Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, actually my ext girl friend was horrible.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, And I didn't know if it was joking about
- 12:29Speaker 2: what happened. I was like, durmn, I did not know
- 12:31Speaker 2: was going there.
- 12:31Speaker 3: It did get really dark really fast.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's like there's literally music and he's like
- 12:37Speaker 1: it was the worst time in my life.
- 12:38Speaker 3: It was like it was like record scratch.
- 12:39Speaker 1: What he said. DJ stopped the music and you're like.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Look, I don't know how to pivot from here.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You're like, all right, well, at least you can go
- 12:46Speaker 1: find somebody better.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And then it like I was waiting for him to
- 12:49Speaker 2: just do like a I guess may maybe it was
- 12:52Speaker 2: really rough and that sucks, that really sucks.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But I was waiting for him to like drop like oh,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm just kidding.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It was just didn't work out because maybe he just
- 13:00Speaker 2: thought hopefully he just had dark humor, and I don't
- 13:02Speaker 2: think it was dark.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He was very he was very matter of fact. Because
- 13:05Speaker 3: remember I tried to make the joke about him jumping
- 13:07Speaker 3: in the pool, and he was like, well, I actually
- 13:08Speaker 3: have a back industry.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You know what, maybe this is just a nice little
- 13:13Speaker 1: uh story.
- 13:14Speaker 3: You're so true, this is I'm really trying to make
- 13:16Speaker 3: this work just because I think he's hot.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think that luckily, there's so many men
- 13:20Speaker 2: that look just like him that it's like, I know, but.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I never get attention from those guys. I think that's
- 13:25Speaker 3: why I'm trying to make it work where I just
- 13:27Speaker 3: I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that this
- 13:28Speaker 3: guy might be interested in me, other.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Than to say, yet, haven't gotten attracted from those guys yet?
- 13:34Speaker 2: I know, because I think guys in Tampa and Saint
- 13:36Speaker 2: Peter are taller than they are in Atlanta.
- 13:38Speaker 3: They might be.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just making up random as statistics.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Right, Statistically the men are two inches taller in Tampa, tanner, taller, slimmer,
- 13:45Speaker 3: and you know, a little more nonchalant, very nonchalant, very
- 13:49Speaker 3: much more John Krazinski, I love it looking, motherfucker gosh.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Okay, So the more environments, the better I'll get at this.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I don't I think if I don't know how I
- 13:58Speaker 2: like to be wing man because I usually like to
- 14:00Speaker 2: be in the environment, but I also like to I
- 14:04Speaker 2: like to have like a heads up because what I've said,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and we said it a little bit earlier, is I'm
- 14:08Speaker 2: not the best at reading a situation. But what I've
- 14:11Speaker 2: always found is women are so much quicker to be like,
- 14:13Speaker 2: oh my god, yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 1: She's into you, and I'm like, duh, what she is?
- 14:18Speaker 3: What signs help you understand that a woman's interested in you? Like,
- 14:22Speaker 3: what signs do women need to give off for you.
- 14:24Speaker 1: To go oh?
- 14:26Speaker 2: I think it's literally a look in the face of Like,
- 14:28Speaker 2: if I'm looking at you and I can tell that
- 14:29Speaker 2: you're intensely looking at me, you're making eye contact, you're
- 14:33Speaker 2: very invested in what I'm saying, I'm like, oh, okay.
- 14:36Speaker 3: What if she's just a good listener.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Gosh, dang it.
- 14:38Speaker 2: See that's what my head goes to immediately, and I'm like, great,
- 14:40Speaker 2: maybe she's just being friendly and she doesn't know how
- 14:42Speaker 2: to get out of a situation. That's immediately my thoughts.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That's what I mean. I think it's more intuition. You
- 14:47Speaker 3: just kind of get a vibe. You just you can
- 14:50Speaker 3: sense there's a little bit of static in the air
- 14:52Speaker 3: where when you two look at each other you can
- 14:54Speaker 3: tell that you're you're both going, oh, I know.
- 14:59Speaker 1: What, I have a moment in a while. So it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: kind of like you got to remind yourself of what
- 15:04Speaker 1: that moment is.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Like I had a good couple of moments recently where
- 15:08Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that's it, But it still took me,
- 15:13Speaker 2: gosh a long time to be like all right, Scott,
- 15:16Speaker 2: I think you got the go ahead.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It was like hours and I.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Was like, oh, okay, let me go ahead and take
- 15:21Speaker 2: a step and let's see where this step takes me
- 15:23Speaker 2: because of what I don't want to do is take
- 15:24Speaker 2: the step and there's no stairs and they just go
- 15:26Speaker 2: tumbling down, Like gosh, that would suck. But another thing
- 15:29Speaker 2: is I look for, like like physical touch, Like if
- 15:32Speaker 2: I've just noticed that if a woman is constantly like
- 15:35Speaker 2: put in her hand on my arm or her hand
- 15:36Speaker 2: on my arm or some weight of just finding like
- 15:39Speaker 2: a touch that seems to be like a way and
- 15:41Speaker 2: of like, Okay, she's comfortable.
- 15:43Speaker 3: That's a good side. I would say, if a woman
- 15:45Speaker 3: is going out of her way to touch you could
- 15:48Speaker 3: with consent obviously above the belt. Yeah, that's a good sign.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That'd definitely be horrible. She just walked by Davis.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I just want one of the kids, just wanted to
- 16:04Speaker 3: let you know I'm interested.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's when I actually run away. That's actually when
- 16:08Speaker 1: the scary part happens, which has happened though, like you
- 16:10Speaker 1: go out, it does happen.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I wish we were more like animals in this sense
- 16:14Speaker 3: that there was no no, no, But you know how
- 16:18Speaker 3: if you watch Animal Planet or something and there's a
- 16:21Speaker 3: there's there's like a like a spray that butterflies give off.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're like, oh, of course they're attracted me.
- 16:27Speaker 1: They let that butt spray out. Yea yeah.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Whereas I feel as if humans are the exact opposite.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Where if I don't give up, if I do not
- 16:36Speaker 3: care what how you feel about me, I will be
- 16:39Speaker 3: so enthusiastic and flirtatious and just easy breezy, Whereas if
- 16:45Speaker 3: I like you, I feel as if I will treat
- 16:47Speaker 3: you as though you were my worst enemy. I shut
- 16:51Speaker 3: down emotionally frustrated. But it takes you a second to
- 16:55Speaker 3: get out of that. You have to kind of establish
- 16:57Speaker 3: that this person we're this person is do they just
- 17:00Speaker 3: like you as a person, because if I if I
- 17:02Speaker 3: feel like you like me as a person, I'll kind
- 17:04Speaker 3: of start throwing some flirtations jobs out there. But I
- 17:07Speaker 3: don't like to jump straight into flirtation mode because I
- 17:09Speaker 3: don't really know what I'm flirting into. Are you what's
- 17:13Speaker 3: the status to you of other girls? Are you the
- 17:14Speaker 3: kind of guy that just wants to hook up because
- 17:17Speaker 3: you're a month out of a relationship? You know what
- 17:19Speaker 3: I mean?
- 17:20Speaker 1: What were the signs that you were giving hot tan Dan?
- 17:22Speaker 3: I don't think I was giving him signs.
- 17:24Speaker 1: See, that's I think the problem.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I think I think I was acting interested in him.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I was consistently starting the conversation. I don't think he
- 17:31Speaker 3: was really asking me questions, which is why I didn't
- 17:34Speaker 3: really know what was happening. But he kept standing next
- 17:36Speaker 3: to me. So because he kept standing next to me,
- 17:38Speaker 3: I'm thinking, this guy's obviously interested. And we did have
- 17:43Speaker 3: eye contact across the pool a couple times.
- 17:45Speaker 2: You're like, okay, we keep locking eyes. Yeah, there might
- 17:47Speaker 2: be like, you know, three chance and nothing.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And so I kept talking to him, So I guess
- 17:51Speaker 3: that's the sign that I'm like, I would like to
- 17:53Speaker 3: talk to you. But it wasn't necessarily necessarily a flirtatious interaction.
- 17:59Speaker 2: We were talking earlier about you know, Weathering Heights and
- 18:02Speaker 2: the book Talk World, and before I get into like
- 18:05Speaker 2: the Wuthering Heights stuff, because I haven't watched it yet,
- 18:07Speaker 2: but you are somebody that reads a lot of those
- 18:10Speaker 2: romance novels.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 18:11Speaker 2: I do?
- 18:11Speaker 3: And it's funny that you bring up Wuthering Heights because
- 18:13Speaker 3: I was watching the film yesterday and thinking, oh my god,
- 18:16Speaker 3: this is what two avoidant attachment styles people do, because
- 18:19Speaker 3: I have an avoidant attachment style. I don't know if
- 18:21Speaker 3: you're a big on attachment theory. Have you heard about
- 18:23Speaker 3: attachment theory?
- 18:24Speaker 1: I have, But remind me, there is the.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Anxious attachment style, which is like, you really really want
- 18:29Speaker 3: to be with somebody, so you have an anxious attachment style.
- 18:31Speaker 3: You have an avoidant attachment style, which is me, which
- 18:34Speaker 3: is I'm scared of rejection, so I kind of avoid
- 18:36Speaker 3: because that's easier. Yeah, And then there's disorganized where I
- 18:39Speaker 3: think it's a mix of the two. Wuthering Heights is
- 18:42Speaker 3: literally two people with an avoidant attachment style because they're
- 18:45Speaker 3: scared of what it would mean to be in a
- 18:47Speaker 3: relationship with this person, so they both just keep avoiding
- 18:50Speaker 3: it in different ways. I think maybe Jacobalordi's character is
- 18:56Speaker 3: a little bit more secure, whereas I think Kathy is
- 18:59Speaker 3: an avoidant.
- 19:00Speaker 2: That's okay, I've done a lot of thinking about this.
- 19:02Speaker 2: This is going to take a tangent, but like, cause
- 19:04Speaker 2: there's I've dated women in the past that like this
- 19:08Speaker 2: sounds so weird, But like, I guess it is that
- 19:10Speaker 2: avoidant attraction style of I don't want a relationship. I
- 19:16Speaker 2: don't want to ruin what we have. I don't want
- 19:17Speaker 2: to take that risk. I'm scared to step back in.
- 19:20Speaker 2: And I remember in the times being like, why don't
- 19:24Speaker 2: we just see what happens? Like, we're obviously attracted to
- 19:27Speaker 2: each other, we obviously like each other. Why don't we
- 19:30Speaker 2: just take a step into that world? But now there's
- 19:34Speaker 2: two thoughts. Was that avoidance or was that trying to
- 19:37Speaker 2: let me down gently? Where I'm like, huh wait a second,
- 19:41Speaker 2: were you?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Well?
- 19:42Speaker 2: I guess now looking back, is probably just avoidant because
- 19:45Speaker 2: relationships went for extremely long periods of time, so hopefully
- 19:48Speaker 2: at some point they would have ended it quicker than that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: But there's also that thought of like, wait, maybe they
- 19:54Speaker 2: were just scared of being in a relationship. Maybe it
- 19:55Speaker 2: wasn't me, but I have thought recently I was like, Wow,
- 19:57Speaker 2: did I force them into a relationship that they didn't
- 20:00Speaker 2: want to be in?
- 20:00Speaker 3: No, I don't think so. I think I think somebody
- 20:04Speaker 3: with an avoidant attachment style does have a hard time
- 20:06Speaker 3: fully getting secure in the relationship. But I don't think. Yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 3: I guess it's a fine line between whether or not
- 20:11Speaker 3: this person is just trying to be like, oh, I
- 20:12Speaker 3: just don't want to date you and they don't want
- 20:14Speaker 3: to hurt your feelings. Yeah, they're trying to blame it
- 20:15Speaker 3: on them, But I think if you're in the relationship
- 20:18Speaker 3: with them, it's probably not like a you thing with
- 20:20Speaker 3: them trying to break things off.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Well, it would be like months of talking and months
- 20:23Speaker 2: of getting close and it's like finally, like should we
- 20:26Speaker 2: and they're like.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Ah, I don't know.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't want to. I don't want
- 20:30Speaker 1: to end a friendship. I don't want to. I'm scared
- 20:33Speaker 1: of what's gonna happen.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'm like, I mean, I'd rather, like my whole theory
- 20:37Speaker 2: is I'd rather try and fail and be a heartbroken
- 20:41Speaker 2: and just distraught.
- 20:43Speaker 1: As it happened.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yeah, then to wonder, huh, we got something really good here,
- 20:48Speaker 2: let's see and then never find out.
- 20:50Speaker 3: That's so funny because I think I'm the exact opposite
- 20:53Speaker 3: of that.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Really, you rather just wonder what would have been.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I admire your bravery. I think it takes a lot
- 20:58Speaker 3: of bravery to get into a mess relationship that is doomed.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Well at the time and it knows dude.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Well, you don't know. That's the scary part is you
- 21:06Speaker 3: don't realize it's doomed. You go in with all these
- 21:08Speaker 3: hopes and dreams and all these fluttery feelings and it
- 21:12Speaker 3: ends up leading you to really difficult heartbreak and messy
- 21:17Speaker 3: feelings that you then have to work through that if
- 21:19Speaker 3: you just didn't get into that relationship, you wouldn't have
- 21:21Speaker 3: to work through.
- 21:21Speaker 4: But it's like that quote, it's like, it's better to
- 21:23Speaker 4: have love than I never loved it all I know,
- 21:25Speaker 4: Socrates or whatever, I know, but that's I think it's
- 21:27Speaker 4: better to be more selective then, Like I think now
- 21:29Speaker 4: going forward, yeah, I will be way more conscious of
- 21:32Speaker 4: and quicker too.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I think in the past what I've done is I've
- 21:36Speaker 2: let little things just kind of sit there and I'm like, ah,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I could look past it, or maybe I like this,
- 21:40Speaker 2: maybe I don't. And then I think, now in the dating,
- 21:43Speaker 2: as soon as it's like, okay, I know we're not
- 21:46Speaker 2: going to work out, just being the brave part would
- 21:50Speaker 2: be having the conversation. Then like I have gone just
- 21:53Speaker 2: on dates and people in the past, and it's like, well,
- 21:55Speaker 2: I mean, I mean we're three dates and I still
- 21:57Speaker 2: don't feel it, but I guess we'll keep going. And
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm like, that doesn't seem fair to anybody.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I'm trying to talk you out of that right now?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Well, I ah, it's yeah, it's a messy situation.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Because you do have to be selective with who handles
- 22:13Speaker 3: your heart. And I think maybe that's why I haven't
- 22:14Speaker 3: gotten into a long term relationship, is that there are
- 22:17Speaker 3: very few people that I would trust to actually handle
- 22:20Speaker 3: it with care.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Woo.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Indeed, that is so deep.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I just don't trust men.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I guess.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I guess what.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It's coming down to is it's none of the problem
- 22:29Speaker 2: here obviously not me. From the like the book world
- 22:33Speaker 2: and the movie world. What are the things that you've
- 22:35Speaker 2: seen that you'd actually like to implement in a relationship,
- 22:39Speaker 2: Like what aer the things and the styles and this
- 22:41Speaker 2: could be from anything. It doesn't have to be from
- 22:43Speaker 2: weathering heights. But like if you've read something like a
- 22:45Speaker 2: guide and you're like, man, I really want my future
- 22:49Speaker 2: man to do that.
- 22:50Speaker 3: For me, it's not well, if we're talking about the
- 22:52Speaker 3: books that I've read.
- 22:53Speaker 1: We need to go on a.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Quest and there needs to be an inn and there's
- 22:56Speaker 3: only one bed. Oh, and you have crusty bread and cheese.
- 22:58Speaker 2: At one point, that's like, yeah, that's the fantasy really
- 23:00Speaker 2: starts to take a really big turn.
- 23:02Speaker 3: All the fantasy girls will know exactly what tropes I'm
- 23:04Speaker 3: talking about, But for me, it's less about what he does.
- 23:07Speaker 3: I think guys tend to really get hung up on
- 23:10Speaker 3: what can I do for her to make her like
- 23:12Speaker 3: me yes, whereas women are so intuitive that we're just
- 23:17Speaker 3: looking for someone that feels right to us and then
- 23:20Speaker 3: everything else is just his cherry on top. Because I've
- 23:23Speaker 3: been on dates where I've sat there thinking, if this
- 23:26Speaker 3: guy was the right guy for me, this would literally
- 23:28Speaker 3: be a dream date.
- 23:29Speaker 2: This would be so fun, Like they're doing everything right,
- 23:31Speaker 2: it just doesn't feel right.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Whereas you could just be laying on the couch with
- 23:35Speaker 3: some dude that you really have great chemistry with, just
- 23:37Speaker 3: hanging out watching vine compilations, and it feels like the
- 23:41Speaker 3: most fun in the world because that person is more
- 23:44Speaker 3: compatible with you or you have more chemistry with them.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Mm see.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I think that's actually where the silence speaks louder. It's
- 23:50Speaker 2: like if you could sit comfortably with somebody and it's
- 23:51Speaker 2: not awkward, nobody has to fill in a space.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You could just sit in each other's arm, like.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Ah, that's what I'm looking for. And I think I
- 24:01Speaker 3: have a hard time wondering because I have OCD. I
- 24:04Speaker 3: sometimes wonder if I'm holding out for this thing that
- 24:07Speaker 3: everyone talks about where you have that calm sense of knowing,
- 24:11Speaker 3: of intuition of being like, Oh, I think I think
- 24:14Speaker 3: this is I really sent something here or am I
- 24:18Speaker 3: so caught up in my OCD that I'm waiting for
- 24:20Speaker 3: something that doesn't really exist.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I think it exists, like as the optimist in me,
- 24:24Speaker 2: And I think that is why that feeling is there.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Because I have you ever been in love, like truly
- 24:30Speaker 2: in love?
- 24:31Speaker 3: No, I mean like I think I've been infatuated. I
- 24:33Speaker 3: think I've been stuck in Limerens before, but I've never
- 24:36Speaker 3: been in love with someone. I think that requires you
- 24:40Speaker 3: truly knowing somebody.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it takes a lot of time, it takes a
- 24:43Speaker 2: lot of effort, but then when that feeling happens.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I was just talking to a friend about this of like.
- 24:49Speaker 2: When you have that feeling, you then know that it's like,
- 24:51Speaker 2: oh my god, it is there, and then anything that
- 24:53Speaker 2: doesn't live up to it, you're like, well, no, I
- 24:56Speaker 2: know that feeling's there, so I'm going after that. And
- 24:59Speaker 2: for me me, the way my mind works is like, Okay,
- 25:01Speaker 2: if I've had love before and that didn't work out, well,
- 25:04Speaker 2: that means then there's something even better out there, like
- 25:07Speaker 2: the universe when it's set me up to settle for less,
- 25:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:10Speaker 3: The universe is pretty fucked up, it is it though.
- 25:12Speaker 2: But again I'm always looking at it as like, what
- 25:14Speaker 2: is a guiding me too? If I've already lost let's say,
- 25:18Speaker 2: an amazing love, maybe it wasn't lost. It was learning
- 25:22Speaker 2: because I could learn what it actually feels like when
- 25:24Speaker 2: I get that again, and the goal is that it's
- 25:26Speaker 2: even better. And that's why that one relationship failed. That's
- 25:30Speaker 2: honestly how the optimist mind works.
- 25:31Speaker 3: This is what it's like to live when you're not depressed.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well exactly, like this is just what I focus
- 25:35Speaker 2: on because or also it gets really dark. It's like, well, damn,
- 25:38Speaker 2: that didn't work out. That was the one time I
- 25:40Speaker 2: felt loved. I guess it will never happen again.
- 25:42Speaker 3: I know that that's terrified is to wonder, did you
- 25:45Speaker 3: This is one of my favorite Tailor swift lyrics of
- 25:47Speaker 3: all time. I'm wondering if I dodged a bullet or
- 25:50Speaker 3: lost the love of my life. Isn't that so validating?
- 25:53Speaker 3: It is? Was this? Was this the relationship? And sometimes
- 25:57Speaker 3: somehow like that fell apart? Or did I act dodge
- 26:00Speaker 3: a bullet? But it's just masked by the connection that
- 26:04Speaker 3: we had.
- 26:05Speaker 1: See.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I always believe if it was gonna work, it would
- 26:07Speaker 2: have worked. If it was supposed to be, it would
- 26:09Speaker 2: have been and we wouldn't have had the problems, or
- 26:12Speaker 2: it would have brought back together even if we broke up,
- 26:15Speaker 2: even if we split, we would have found a way
- 26:17Speaker 2: to come back in each other's lives.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like there was somebody in my past.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I was like, who knows, maybe, And then I saw
- 26:22Speaker 2: they got married and I was like, I guess.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Not, I know, why does it take someone to get
- 26:26Speaker 3: married for me to go well, as if they can't
- 26:28Speaker 3: get divorced.
- 26:28Speaker 2: That's true, and as you know, the statistics show that
- 26:31Speaker 2: a lot will.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that's what I'm waiting for.
- 26:34Speaker 3: We're each other, me and you have second husband and
- 26:37Speaker 3: wife material.
- 26:37Speaker 1: No, we just waited out.
- 26:39Speaker 2: We're not even in our thirties yet, Like we're just
- 26:41Speaker 2: waiting to see what happens, and honestly just throwing yourselves
- 26:44Speaker 2: in better environments. And I think that's what's so wild
- 26:48Speaker 2: is I had a great friend and for so many
- 26:51Speaker 2: years he used to get down on himself because nothing
- 26:54Speaker 2: ever worked. He would be on the apps and it
- 26:56Speaker 2: would just fall flat. He would go to a bar
- 26:58Speaker 2: and it would just fall flat. I remember telling him,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I was like, dude, I think you're just going into
- 27:03Speaker 2: the environments where you won't truly fit in. You're looking
- 27:07Speaker 2: for something that you don't really want to find in
- 27:09Speaker 2: a place that you're never going to find it. And
- 27:11Speaker 2: he literally moved states, he moved environments, he started doing
- 27:16Speaker 2: different activities that were more hymn that man's in the
- 27:19Speaker 2: first relationship that he's like literally saying to us, He's like, yep,
- 27:22Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that this is the one wow, which
- 27:25Speaker 2: is crazy, and this is somebody that used to be
- 27:27Speaker 2: very like just it's never gonna happen. It's not for me,
- 27:30Speaker 2: it's not in my cards. And I was like, I
- 27:31Speaker 2: don't think so. I think we're just looking at the
- 27:33Speaker 2: wrong place.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Where did he find her?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Well, I think it was in a.
- 27:40Speaker 3: I'm like pulling out my math. I'm like, give me coordinates.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Well, it's nowhere here in Tampa, but it was across
- 27:45Speaker 2: he moved another state, and so he started doing like
- 27:47Speaker 2: a bunch of wreck activities and started doing a bunch
- 27:49Speaker 2: of like like friendship meetups where they would hike or
- 27:52Speaker 2: something like that. And those were his things that he
- 27:54Speaker 2: naturally loved. Oh, somebody else comes along, natural friend group,
- 27:59Speaker 2: natural friends in, natural conversation, and somebody that's interested in
- 28:02Speaker 2: something that you're interested in.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Oh, it kind of worked out.
- 28:07Speaker 2: So they saw that they had each other's interest in mind,
- 28:10Speaker 2: and I think that's where the natural conversation happened.
- 28:12Speaker 3: That's what I mean is I feel like when you
- 28:13Speaker 3: have to force it it, force it, force it, that's usually.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Your sign yeah, well, that's why I don't want to
- 28:19Speaker 2: look in bars, because I'm like, I don't know if
- 28:21Speaker 2: that's going to be the best thing, because I rarely
- 28:24Speaker 2: go to bars rarely.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I hate that logic bars have such a negative connotation,
- 28:29Speaker 3: as if anybody that goes in and has a beverage,
- 28:32Speaker 3: it's some degenerate, like you're not going to find your
- 28:34Speaker 3: wife or your husband in a bar. Bars are one
- 28:37Speaker 3: of the only third spaces we have in America where
- 28:40Speaker 3: people can go and mingle and not be at work
- 28:43Speaker 3: or at the gym. It is a place where people
- 28:45Speaker 3: can be social and ultimately you need social interaction to
- 28:48Speaker 3: find somebody.
- 28:49Speaker 2: That is true, you need to put yourself in the
- 28:51Speaker 2: environment too, And so maybe that's probably why I'm closing
- 28:53Speaker 2: off potential life material by not even putting in myself
- 28:57Speaker 2: to all the environments, by reducing one, reducing the odds,
- 29:05Speaker 2: because my whole logic was I'll just go and hopefully
- 29:07Speaker 2: find somebody at.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Like a yoga retreat.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I mean, to be fair, I'm not breaking the yoga,
- 29:11Speaker 2: by the way, but if I did, Yeah, okay, you're earthy.
- 29:14Speaker 3: So you're looking for someone who's very fitness conscious, very
- 29:20Speaker 3: wellness oriented. Those people can be found in bars.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 29:23Speaker 3: But I understand what you're saying is if you're here's
- 29:27Speaker 3: a good analogy. Oh boy, let me just make it
- 29:29Speaker 3: even more convoluted.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Oh boy.
- 29:31Speaker 3: If you are looking for a specific brand of yogurt,
- 29:36Speaker 3: sometimes you have to go to a certain supermarket to
- 29:38Speaker 3: find it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's so specific you're.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Not going to find If you're looking for chow Body,
- 29:44Speaker 3: you're not going to find it at Trader Joe's. You're
- 29:46Speaker 3: not gonna find it at all. The you have to
- 29:48Speaker 3: go up public, So you have to go to public
- 29:50Speaker 3: to see if it's in stock.
- 29:51Speaker 2: M I at least should look. I gotta see if
- 29:54Speaker 2: it's in stock.
- 29:55Speaker 3: So what I'm saying is you're not wrong for wanting
- 29:58Speaker 3: to go to certain places to find it that specific item.
- 30:01Speaker 3: But who knows, maybe Trader Joe's does have Chilaney in
- 30:03Speaker 3: stock one day. Maybe it's like a specialty Trader dose.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're just giving it the option of having
- 30:07Speaker 2: it there. Like my buddy wanted us to go check
- 30:10Speaker 2: out the Tampa edition yesterday. Oh we went through Andrea Bocelli,
- 30:14Speaker 2: which was, oh my god. Never did I ever a
- 30:17Speaker 2: sign that I know I'm getting older. I think I
- 30:19Speaker 2: was going to appreciate it like an opera, and it
- 30:22Speaker 2: was incredible, transformational.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And afterwards my roommate was like, well, there's gonna be
- 30:29Speaker 2: a lot of traffic. We're right by the Tampa Edition.
- 30:31Speaker 2: He loves checking out a new scene. I mean, he's
- 30:33Speaker 2: been there before, but he loves checking out the bar.
- 30:35Speaker 2: He loves talking to people. He's like, let's just go
- 30:36Speaker 2: step in there for a second. Let the traffic die down,
- 30:38Speaker 2: Let's just go step in. And I said, absolutely not.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And he's like, what if your wife is in there?
- 30:44Speaker 2: And that point almost got me because I was like,
- 30:47Speaker 2: am I closing off an opportunity to meeting wife?
- 30:50Speaker 3: Like? Your wife is not at the Tampa Edition. Maybe
- 30:53Speaker 3: she is that I know for certain she's.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Sitting there at the bar, sipping a martini. She's in
- 30:56Speaker 2: a beautiful, elegant dress, her hair is past her shoulders,
- 31:00Speaker 2: and she's just sitting there thinking about when am I
- 31:04Speaker 2: going to find that one? And I walk in and
- 31:07Speaker 2: I notice this beautiful woman sitting at the bar, and
- 31:11Speaker 2: I think to myself, she's absolutely gorgeous.
- 31:14Speaker 1: How in the world she alone? And I say to myself,
- 31:18Speaker 1: you know what, Scott You said you're gonna take more risks.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He said you were going to start more conversations. You said.
- 31:24Speaker 2: You were going to push forward even when fear percented itself.
- 31:28Speaker 2: And I say, roommate, just wait a second. I think
- 31:31Speaker 2: there's somebody I need to meet. And I walk up
- 31:36Speaker 2: and I asked her.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Did you just come back from the andre but Chelly? Oh?
- 31:44Speaker 3: Did you love the bar where he went? Oh, if
- 31:46Speaker 3: you love that guy, you really need to narrate audiobooks.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I mean it's like that would be the romance.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Now.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I'm kicking myself for not going. But I also don't
- 31:56Speaker 1: think you're a real world I would do that.
- 31:57Speaker 3: As a realist. Let me tell you what you're gonna
- 31:59Speaker 3: find in the Tampa and Scotty, you're gonna walk into
- 32:01Speaker 3: the Tampa edition. You're gonna see four guys who just
- 32:04Speaker 3: moved here three months ago from New Jersey. They're all
- 32:07Speaker 3: sitting there wondering if they should go to five eleven
- 32:09Speaker 3: or Ginjoint. Oh my god, they've just spent four hundred
- 32:13Speaker 3: dollars on Martini's on their parents' credit card.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Oh wow.
- 32:16Speaker 3: And one of them is talking about this girl that
- 32:18Speaker 3: he hooked up with last night. But doesn't plan on
- 32:20Speaker 3: calling Oh my god, that's who you're That's what you're
- 32:22Speaker 3: gonna find at the Tampa edition. It's just a buch
- 32:24Speaker 3: of influencer wanna be d bag types. So there's not
- 32:28Speaker 3: not not saying that you can't find lovely people at
- 32:31Speaker 3: the Tampa Edition. I'm just saying, in my experience, that's
- 32:34Speaker 3: kind of the crowd.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You know what it is going to be the adventure
- 32:37Speaker 2: of just seeing I think it's just throwing darts at
- 32:40Speaker 2: the wall and just checking out all those spots, because,
- 32:42Speaker 2: like I said, like my thing is finding the new spots,
- 32:45Speaker 2: opening my mind, opening my heart, opening the soul to
- 32:48Speaker 2: what's out there. And if that means going out late
- 32:50Speaker 2: on a bar night, I think what gets me more is.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Like the sleep.
- 32:55Speaker 2: That's god, dang, it's so late, But I'm open to it.
- 32:58Speaker 2: If that means going to a drum circle, I'm.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I'm taking you to Bulan. What if your wife is
- 33:02Speaker 3: at Bulan?
- 33:03Speaker 1: That'd be really nice.
- 33:04Speaker 3: What if I introduce you to your wife, as you
- 33:06Speaker 3: imagine she's gonna leave her husband for you.
- 33:09Speaker 2: That would well, maybe her boyfriend. I think i'd be work.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to ruin a marriage,
- 33:14Speaker 2: but I'd ruin a Relationshi.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I'm just thinking about the Thursday Night Boulon crowd. I'm
- 33:17Speaker 3: like some woman who's like, I'm sick of this man
- 33:19Speaker 3: in finance?
- 33:20Speaker 1: What if No?
- 33:21Speaker 2: I can't know. No, that's the them journey. I do
- 33:23Speaker 2: not want to get bracked up in that. I'm done
- 33:25Speaker 2: with jealous boyfriends. Can't be all up in those circles.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Absolutely not. What is the thing that you would be
- 33:33Speaker 2: pushing yourself out of to try if it meant meeting someone?
- 33:36Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I've never been opposed to run club,
- 33:39Speaker 3: but I've never been to a run club, so I
- 33:41Speaker 3: guess that's a little bit outside my comfort zone. But
- 33:44Speaker 3: all in all, I'm somebody who really has put themselves
- 33:46Speaker 3: out there a lot to find a relationship. I mean
- 33:48Speaker 3: I literally flew to Indiana to see if a relationship
- 33:52Speaker 3: would work out.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Can we talk about the guy that hits you up
- 33:55Speaker 1: once you got here?
- 33:56Speaker 2: Oh?
- 33:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I did. I talked about this a little bit
- 33:57Speaker 3: on my sub stack. I think I put it in
- 33:59Speaker 3: the paid poor because it's hot gossip.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Oh hot gossip.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Still, you know, it was jobless for a little bit,
- 34:06Speaker 2: so you know, you know, I gotta put the tea somewhere.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I put that tea somewhere to pay for tea, you
- 34:10Speaker 1: gotta pay for tea.
- 34:10Speaker 3: So anyway, this is in my paid portion of my
- 34:12Speaker 3: sub stack already, but it's been out long enough that
- 34:15Speaker 3: I think I can maybe talk about it.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I was like, maybe just catch me up just to
- 34:17Speaker 1: what you before you reveal.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yeah, let me give you the tea. So a listener
- 34:22Speaker 3: of The Birch Show, which is the show that I
- 34:24Speaker 3: just came from, she invited the whole cast to come
- 34:28Speaker 3: to her wedding. And it's literally in Indiana, but like
- 34:31Speaker 3: two hours outside Indianapolis. It's in like rural Indiana, and
- 34:35Speaker 3: so we're all like, we literally can't go because that's
- 34:37Speaker 3: really far and also very expensive. And I guess they
- 34:40Speaker 3: knew that the show was ending, so they're like, where's
- 34:41Speaker 3: the money gonna come from? Anyway, she hits us up,
- 34:45Speaker 3: but then one of my costs was or no, I guess.
- 34:48Speaker 3: She then DMed one of my co hosts and said,
- 34:50Speaker 3: you know, can you at least let Abby go because
- 34:52Speaker 3: of the best man I think is a really good
- 34:54Speaker 3: fit for her. He lives in Tampa, which is where
- 34:57Speaker 3: her family is from.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Here we are, he's.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Tall, we in finance, the whole thing, and he was
- 35:02Speaker 3: gonna go on The Bachelor at some point or something.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, this is like definitely I'm interested.
- 35:07Speaker 3: So I fly it for the wedding. It's a great time.
- 35:09Speaker 3: We have a lovely evening. We went on a second
- 35:11Speaker 3: date in Tampa and it just kind it wasn't how
- 35:15Speaker 3: do I phrase this, because people are like, well, you
- 35:17Speaker 3: never told us how it ended. I'm like, it didn't
- 35:18Speaker 3: really need a story. I was just kind of like,
- 35:20Speaker 3: I don't think you're my boyfriend. I don't think i'm
- 35:22Speaker 3: your girlfriend. I think we should just part ways. Well,
- 35:25Speaker 3: you know, it's not.
- 35:26Speaker 2: When you got there, did you guys dance together, drink together.
- 35:30Speaker 3: It was tough because I was by myself for a
- 35:32Speaker 3: lot of the wedding, and then slowly towards the end,
- 35:37Speaker 3: I think I told the bride at one point I
- 35:39Speaker 3: was like, I don't think he likes me, and I
- 35:41Speaker 3: think she said something to him. So maybe that's why
- 35:43Speaker 3: I try and give people the benefit of the doubt
- 35:45Speaker 3: in terms of maybe they're just nervous, because we all
- 35:48Speaker 3: act weird when we're worried about getting rejected or so
- 35:51Speaker 3: I didn't really take it personally, and we had a
- 35:53Speaker 3: great time. The rest of the night came very good friends,
- 35:55Speaker 3: and I was interested enough that I was like, I'll
- 35:57Speaker 3: go out with him a second time. And so we
- 35:59Speaker 3: went on a second time, and I was just kind
- 36:00Speaker 3: of like, yeah, I just don't know, like I like him,
- 36:02Speaker 3: but I just don't know that he's I just don't
- 36:03Speaker 3: feel like this is the kind I just don't think
- 36:07Speaker 3: we're each other's people.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I think it was also his effort, sounds like you
- 36:10Speaker 2: were trying to but it didn't seem like he was interested.
- 36:12Speaker 3: No what No, No, he was interested.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I was. I don't mean that like he wanted me because.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I was interested too, Like I think we were both
- 36:19Speaker 3: equally interested, but we were both kind of like, this
- 36:21Speaker 3: is a very high pressure situation. We're both at a wedding.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Everybody knows, everybody at the wedding knows that I'm here
- 36:26Speaker 3: for this first date, and then the second date, I
- 36:30Speaker 3: just I just didn't feel it, and I think I
- 36:33Speaker 3: had done all I needed to do to just feel
- 36:35Speaker 3: whether or not there's going to be something there.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Did you kiss him?
- 36:38Speaker 2: Yeah, obviously, I don't remember.
- 36:43Speaker 3: I he kissed me, or if I kissed him, I
- 36:44Speaker 3: can't remember how it went down.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You have to remember how that went down.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Well, I think we kissed multiple times. If there's something
- 36:51Speaker 3: one of the times, I definitely kissed him, I can't
- 36:54Speaker 3: remember who initiated it. First second.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Good for you, that's awesome. Yeah, but was it like okay,
- 37:03Speaker 2: second date?
- 37:04Speaker 3: Second date was just fine.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I just think, what did you kiss on the second
- 37:07Speaker 1: date or was it.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Did we kiss?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Why did you kiss the first date of the second date?
- 37:10Speaker 3: I don't think we kissed on the second date.
- 37:12Speaker 1: You kissed on the first date.
- 37:14Speaker 3: We kissed on the first was at a wedding and
- 37:16Speaker 3: we were drinking and dancing, and you know, it was
- 37:18Speaker 3: just kind of vibe.
- 37:18Speaker 1: So that's what I was, That's what I was wondering.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I was like, so there's enough of a vibe because
- 37:22Speaker 2: I'm kissing you on the first date, like we're vibing.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Yeah, we I mean, after eight tequila shots, you're gonna
- 37:28Speaker 3: vibe with a brick wall. Not that I'm calling him
- 37:30Speaker 3: boring or a brick wall. I'm just saying, like, like,
- 37:33Speaker 3: obviously we're at a wedding, we were drinking, you know,
- 37:36Speaker 3: it was a good time. I think I might have
- 37:38Speaker 3: kissed him. I can't believe I had so much tequila
- 37:44Speaker 3: and I was so sentient, like normally when you drink
- 37:47Speaker 3: too much, I'm like, oh, yeah, I had way too
- 37:48Speaker 3: much to drink, but I had a lot of tequila,
- 37:49Speaker 3: and I was like I consented.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Yeah, like I say, yeah, yeah, I'm vibing. I'm down
- 37:53Speaker 1: for it.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I'm down for it. But I don't think I kissed
- 37:55Speaker 3: him on the second date. I think by then I
- 37:57Speaker 3: kind of knew. I was like, yeah, I don't think
- 38:01Speaker 3: this is it.
- 38:02Speaker 1: You tried.
- 38:03Speaker 3: I'm really talking too much.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I think no, I think it worked. I think it's
- 38:06Speaker 2: exactly what needed to be said. So that was it.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Second date, so.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I said, And I was really trying to give it
- 38:13Speaker 3: a chance because he really was such a nice guy. Yeah,
- 38:17Speaker 3: but I just didn't feel how I want to feel
- 38:20Speaker 3: when I meet that person.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Absolutely, And that's what we're talking about, Like, is it
- 38:24Speaker 2: going to be like a I only want to talk
- 38:27Speaker 2: to you, I look forward to talking to you, I
- 38:28Speaker 2: look forward to hanging out with you. And if you're
- 38:29Speaker 2: not having that drive, yeah, I think two dates is
- 38:32Speaker 2: enough to feel that.
- 38:33Speaker 3: I want to feel a little infatuated. I want to
- 38:35Speaker 3: feel a little infatuated. And what sucks about expressing that
- 38:40Speaker 3: out loud is that it makes it sound like there's
- 38:42Speaker 3: something wrong with that person.
- 38:43Speaker 1: No, I think it's just two chemistries that don't work.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think there's so there's not a lot
- 38:48Speaker 3: of people that you're going to feel that with, and
- 38:50Speaker 3: it's not something you can explain. And that's why you go.
- 38:52Speaker 3: That's why you fly to Indiana because it's worth taking
- 38:55Speaker 3: that risk to see if you're going to feel like
- 38:57Speaker 3: that there. And I think if you give it enough
- 38:59Speaker 3: of a chance to see if there's even a chance,
- 39:02Speaker 3: then you've done your due diligence. And I think I'd
- 39:04Speaker 3: done my due diligence. And I was like, I don't
- 39:06Speaker 3: think the little bit of friction I want to feel
- 39:10Speaker 3: is in this relationship. But he he will be that
- 39:13Speaker 3: for somebody, And if I keep dating this person, he
- 39:17Speaker 3: will not find that and I'm not going to find that.
- 39:19Speaker 3: And at the end of the day, that's not feared
- 39:20Speaker 3: to either of us.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think that's the respectful thing is to
- 39:22Speaker 2: at least give it two shots, to say, let's see,
- 39:25Speaker 2: because the first one doesn't really count. You're getting all
- 39:26Speaker 2: those nerves out. The second one is like, Okay, this
- 39:28Speaker 2: is a true vibe check. Yeah, And you got to
- 39:30Speaker 2: check in with yourself afterwards, like how do I feel
- 39:32Speaker 2: about this?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Is this actually gonna be something?
- 39:34Speaker 3: Is it?
- 39:35Speaker 2: Am I thinking about them? It's nothing about them, It's
- 39:37Speaker 2: it's literally a feeling. I'm attractive to somebody, but I'm
- 39:40Speaker 2: looking for a partner, and that all comes down to
- 39:43Speaker 2: vibes like.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just thinking about you. You can't explain it.
- 39:45Speaker 3: It's either there or it isn't. And I don't think
- 39:48Speaker 3: you can manufacture it.
- 39:50Speaker 1: You did say they're in Tampa. What you did say
- 39:52Speaker 1: they're in Tampa?
- 39:53Speaker 2: Oh?
- 39:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:53Speaker 3: Anyway, So I got a text that I wasn't expecting
- 39:55Speaker 3: to text from them because I was the one that
- 39:57Speaker 3: broke things off. I was like, yeah, I just don't
- 39:58Speaker 3: think this is a good That makes it sound like
- 40:01Speaker 3: there's a chance. I just like, I was just like,
- 40:02Speaker 3: I don't think this is it for either us. I'm
- 40:04Speaker 3: just gonna I'm gonna say it. I think guys have
- 40:07Speaker 3: a harder time seeing that because if they haven't slept
- 40:10Speaker 3: with you, I think their caveman brain goes. But I
- 40:13Speaker 3: think there could be something, but I think whereas I
- 40:14Speaker 3: think women no sooner absolutely, And I was like, we
- 40:18Speaker 3: don't need to get to that point for for either
- 40:21Speaker 3: of us, because then it just gets messy and then
- 40:23Speaker 3: there's a whole listener component and it's just I was like,
- 40:26Speaker 3: let's just be friends. And so I parted ways being
- 40:28Speaker 3: like we're gonna be friends. But I wasn't sure if
- 40:30Speaker 3: he felt that way. And so when he texted me,
- 40:33Speaker 3: I was like, oh, thank god, he's not mad at me.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah, which understandable. Yeah, I get that. So he texted
- 40:39Speaker 2: you when you got here.
- 40:40Speaker 3: So he texted me, He's like, hey, I heard you're
- 40:42Speaker 3: in Tampa. I heard you move to Tampa. He's like,
- 40:44Speaker 3: my family still follows you. Like, why did your family
- 40:46Speaker 3: still follow me? Because if I if my parents were
- 40:49Speaker 3: in that position, I think they would have unfollowed him.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I literally have family members that still follow my exes
- 40:53Speaker 2: that I have literally gotten married.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but I wasn't his ex, Like we went on
- 40:58Speaker 3: two dates.
- 40:59Speaker 2: I know, But I'm saying, like your family, once they
- 41:01Speaker 2: follow somebody, they will just continue to follow them. It's
- 41:03Speaker 2: like it doesn't compute to them, Like maybe I should
- 41:05Speaker 2: unfollow nope.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I was a little self conscious. I'm like, how closely
- 41:08Speaker 3: are they following me?
- 41:09Speaker 2: Not that closely probably, But I think it's somebody that's
- 41:12Speaker 2: fun to check in on because you were literally invited.
- 41:14Speaker 1: This person was a listener. Correct, Yeah, yeah, Okay.
- 41:16Speaker 2: They're definitely the automatically they like you, so I don't
- 41:19Speaker 2: think it would be ever something that they're mad at
- 41:21Speaker 2: you for. They're like, sometimes you just gotta throw you'll
- 41:23Speaker 2: fishing rod in the water and see if there's a catch.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And there wasn't a catch. I know, cool connection, great story.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Love that I know.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I mean i literally look back on my life a
- 41:32Speaker 3: year ago, I'm like, what that's so crazy? Like for work,
- 41:34Speaker 3: I literally just fluted.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I think it's insane, Like I think that's a wild
- 41:38Speaker 2: thing to do, especially as a single woman, to go
- 41:41Speaker 2: to another state tour.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Fine yeah, but also impressive.
- 41:44Speaker 3: But it was actually everything you wanted it to be,
- 41:46Speaker 3: like if you were going to write a Hallmark movie,
- 41:48Speaker 3: other than the whole no happy ending thing, it very
- 41:52Speaker 3: much was exactly what it should have been. You show up,
- 41:54Speaker 3: you're in the middle of nowhere, you're by yourself, you
- 41:57Speaker 3: meet this very charming dude.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Young lady, you want to come over here to a
- 42:01Speaker 1: wed and you're like, well, I'm just so lost. I
- 42:03Speaker 1: don't know what to do.
- 42:04Speaker 3: You have a great evening. We went to like a
- 42:05Speaker 3: dive bar. It was very much those vibes.
- 42:07Speaker 1: That's fun.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a great experience. I didn't get murdered
- 42:12Speaker 3: or assaulted, so it was great.
- 42:13Speaker 1: There you go. So all in all is a win.
- 42:15Speaker 1: And at least you gave it a chance.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I gave it a chance.
- 42:18Speaker 1: That's what I want to do more of.
- 42:20Speaker 2: And I think it's you know, being open to Okay,
- 42:22Speaker 2: let's take the random adventures you.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Need to do more of you You're doing plenty of it.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Oh well, I mean there's been people that have hit
- 42:28Speaker 2: me up in the past that I've definitely just been like, ah,
- 42:30Speaker 2: it's too far of a driver. I don't know if
- 42:32Speaker 2: I'm necessarily vibing with it where I'm like, Scott, this
- 42:35Speaker 2: is your time to try to find a vibe.
- 42:36Speaker 3: This is your time.
- 42:37Speaker 1: This is the time to fly.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Is there our years, Scotty.
- 42:39Speaker 2: That it can't get any younger than where we are
- 42:41Speaker 2: right now. You gotta utilize the moment, utilize the moment.
- 42:46Speaker 2: So quick review on Weathering Heights.
- 42:48Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 42:49Speaker 3: This is a hard pivot. I thought it was good. Also,
- 42:52Speaker 3: I have to leave in a little bit because I
- 42:53Speaker 3: have to go to a salaid.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Course a course, so they give us a little taste
- 42:56Speaker 1: of it.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Or you want to push it, Yeah, we'll push it
- 42:58Speaker 3: until tomorrow.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Actually, let's push it so we can't do it tomorrow.
- 43:01Speaker 2: We're doing a radio throm Well, maybe we'll see if
- 43:03Speaker 2: there's time.
- 43:03Speaker 3: I mean, I don't have anything.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Let me watch it then I'll get back to you. Yes,
- 43:07Speaker 2: you didn't want you didn't read the book. You don't
- 43:09Speaker 2: need to for this, as what I'm saying, So I
- 43:11Speaker 2: just could go into it blind too and just be like, Okay, yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch it as just a movie enthusiast.
- 43:15Speaker 3: It's very long. There are enjoyable. I don't think you're
- 43:19Speaker 3: gonna enjoy it.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I don't think you're a slow romance.
- 43:22Speaker 3: I like, I think the only parts that I thoroughly
- 43:25Speaker 3: enjoyed where I was like, oh I it was worth
- 43:27Speaker 3: seeing was Jacob Alordi is really good in this movie.
- 43:31Speaker 3: He's really good in this movie. And I think being
- 43:34Speaker 3: a self insert girly, I think it is enjoyable to
- 43:40Speaker 3: watch because you're like, oh, I want Jacob Alordi to
- 43:43Speaker 3: be that upsess with me.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Ah okay, and maybe we'll not get that same vibe.
- 43:48Speaker 3: So I think you're gonna hate it.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I'm probably gonna find time either this weekend to watch it,
- 43:52Speaker 2: so we'll have to push it for a little bit.
- 43:53Speaker 2: But we are doing a radio thon tomorrow, so if
- 43:55Speaker 2: you're hearing this now on Wednesday the eighteenth, well then
- 43:58Speaker 2: hopefully see all the stuff we posted out for the
- 44:00Speaker 2: radio thon and if you want to help out, and
