- 0:21Speaker 4: and I independently and come back with our review.
- 0:24Speaker 2: It looks like a great movie.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yes, it's just didn't watch it.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I love everybody who's in it, and I love Margot Robert,
- 0:36Speaker 4: I love the actors that are in it, Jacob LORDI
- 0:39Speaker 4: and so we were gonna watch it independently and come
- 0:41Speaker 4: back in Withering Heights. It just got posted up on
- 0:44Speaker 4: streaming and you reminded me to watch it, and I did.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Start to watch it.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm proud.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The thing is, I'm not a fairy tale kind of
- 0:56Speaker 4: fantasy guy, neither mine. So yeah, I and it's brilliant.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I'm sure that I know it's prin because I know
- 1:03Speaker 4: about Withering Heights, but I just don't know what it
- 1:06Speaker 4: is for me. I can't do those period kind of
- 1:10Speaker 4: fantasy pieces.
- 1:12Speaker 5: I understand, I understand. So do you want to know
- 1:15Speaker 5: what happened to me this weekend?
- 1:16Speaker 2: I'm dying.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I got sucked.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Into this show called Off Campus, okay, and I could
- 1:21Speaker 5: not take my eyes off of it the entire weekend.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Like it.
- 1:25Speaker 1: It is my new personality.
- 1:26Speaker 5: I'm obsessed with it. I've been like doing deep dives
- 1:28Speaker 5: on the main characters, like I am obst Jersey.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You watch it too, I see you nodding your head.
- 1:33Speaker 6: My boss recommended it to me, and I binged it
- 1:36Speaker 6: all weekend.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, So is this something you think I would like, Tanya, Yes, Cicy, I.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Haven't seen it, but I've heard good things and it's
- 1:44Speaker 3: on my list as well.
- 1:46Speaker 7: It's a little crazy. It's a little crazy, you think.
- 1:49Speaker 7: I think it's a little rated R Yes, definitely righted R.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But in like a PG way what.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Anyway? Here we are back at it good to be.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Bad and that was so sidetracked.
- 2:01Speaker 4: It's just like, well, I'll have to put that on
- 2:03Speaker 4: my list then, okay, get campus.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Got it.
- 2:05Speaker 4: You know, it's a time for us to reflect on
- 2:07Speaker 4: ourselves each and every morning. It's time for us to
- 2:09Speaker 4: get together and have a camaraderie that we have and
- 2:12Speaker 4: the fellowship that we have here together. That's it's a
- 2:15Speaker 4: lot of fun working here and being with you guys,
- 2:17Speaker 4: and every now and then we stumble upon things where
- 2:19Speaker 4: we are critical of ourselves, and Sistany is being critical
- 2:24Speaker 4: of herself and she wants to address it with us.
- 2:26Speaker 2: So Sisney, what is the critical issue?
- 2:28Speaker 1: It was pointed out to me the other day.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I met somebody for the first time, and as we
- 2:32Speaker 3: were chatting, it was like a brunch situation, so there
- 2:35Speaker 3: was like a group. I was sitting next to him
- 2:37Speaker 3: and he was talking her. I was looking at him
- 2:40Speaker 3: and he He's like, do I have something on my face?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Like you keep staring at my chin and what? And
- 2:47Speaker 3: then I brought this up to other people and they're like, yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 3: you often kind.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Of like your eyes drift and you don't really make icon.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't lock in and I end up and I realized,
- 2:56Speaker 1: now is that too right?
- 2:58Speaker 3: Well, now I'm so aware of it that I stopped myself.
- 3:02Speaker 3: And I think before it was I was reading lips,
- 3:05Speaker 3: like I stare at your mouth to like understand what
- 3:08Speaker 3: you're saying because sometimes I can't hear. And so that
- 3:11Speaker 3: was my like my crutch, you know. But now it's
- 3:14Speaker 3: very obvious when I don't look at eyeballs, and now
- 3:16Speaker 3: I also.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Will look left and right sometimes too.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, on the.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Topic, what is it like, I get like panicky after
- 3:25Speaker 3: I stare at your eyes for too long.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Can be uncomfortable to look someone in the eye. I
- 3:31Speaker 4: mean I know that. Yeah, I also read mouths. I
- 3:35Speaker 4: also look at people's mouths when they are talking. Okay,
- 3:39Speaker 4: that makes sense, so I can make sure I hear them.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But I go back up into straight on eye contact
- 3:44Speaker 4: as well. I don't go left right. I have to,
- 3:46Speaker 4: like I will tell you though, I have to intentionally
- 3:49Speaker 4: tell myself to do it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I really do.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I have to intentionally say, lock into in my head,
- 3:54Speaker 4: lock into their eyes. Stay, stay boy, stay stay, stay
- 3:59Speaker 4: in their eyes. And then it can feel a little
- 4:02Speaker 4: uncomfortable at times when you're looking at somebody. But it
- 4:05Speaker 4: is a great thing to do. But I don't do
- 4:09Speaker 4: it without telling myself.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I have to do it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That's where I'm at now.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I have to remind myself to look at someone's eyes
- 4:16Speaker 3: when we're speaking, or it's more so when they're speaking,
- 4:19Speaker 3: So when they're speaking, that's when I get kind of
- 4:21Speaker 3: like lost and drifty, and then I either stare at
- 4:22Speaker 3: their mouth or you're right, like I look sideways.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the sideways I've noticed before. But the mouth thing.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I think a lot of us do that because I
- 4:29Speaker 4: want to make sure that we are hearing exactly what
- 4:32Speaker 4: they're saying. Yeah, and read so like if I'm talking
- 4:35Speaker 4: to somebody he ran on this show, I'll read their
- 4:38Speaker 4: lips often and then I'll go up.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But then I'll go up to the eyes.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It is. It is something I intentionally had to work
- 4:43Speaker 4: on myself. Well, so I had to intentionally work on
- 4:46Speaker 4: like slowing down my walk.
- 4:48Speaker 2: My wah, my.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Gosh, it's impossible, it's too much.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It's actually strange.
- 4:55Speaker 4: The gate is fine, but the pace in which I
- 4:58Speaker 4: walk into and out of place, it's like, it's so down.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And if we're with you and we're in heels,
- 5:04Speaker 3: it's impossible.
- 5:06Speaker 5: If you're dating someone and you walk that fast, it's
- 5:08Speaker 5: a signed to them that you're not into them.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Really.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Yes, Well, I have intentionally also made a mental note
- 5:14Speaker 4: to slow myself down. So I'm like, look at him
- 5:16Speaker 4: in the eye, slow your pace down, look at the eye,
- 5:19Speaker 4: your face down. It's great therapy. We are hypercritical of ourselves,
- 5:24Speaker 4: but it's okay, Yeah, make the eye contact. Think about it.
- 5:27Speaker 4: It's okay to have to think about it truly. All right,
- 5:30Speaker 4: Well that was great. We've turned a new leaf here. Yes,
- 5:33Speaker 4: everybody's just And then Tanya just doesn't She looks at
- 5:35Speaker 4: you but doesn't blink.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's another thing, joy eye contact.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I don't know how your eyes don't get too dry
- 5:41Speaker 4: because she does not blink. She goes on, she does
- 5:44Speaker 4: that full on. Oh my gosh, is she gonna do
- 5:46Speaker 4: something to me with my eyes closed?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly like.
- 5:48Speaker 2: If I were to be alone with her in a room,
- 5:49Speaker 2: is she about to do something to me? I don't know.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that kind of stare. But seacrests with you. Well,
- 5:54Speaker 4: it's time to start thinking about summer. It's just about here.
- 5:56Speaker 4: The year has kind of gone fast. You think about it,
- 6:00Speaker 4: and we get a little vacation, a little break in
- 6:02Speaker 4: the summertime here, which is wonderful. It's always good to
- 6:06Speaker 4: get away. It's fun to look forward to it and
- 6:08Speaker 4: plan it. I mean, I love the sport of planning.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I plan out loud to people that I'm traveling with
- 6:14Speaker 4: or people I'm doing anything with. I plan so much
- 6:17Speaker 4: and I do it out loud just because it's I
- 6:19Speaker 4: don't know, I like it. But not everybody needs to
- 6:22Speaker 4: plan quite as much as I do, because I plan,
- 6:25Speaker 4: and then I have a backup plan, and then I
- 6:26Speaker 4: have a failure plan, so all else fails. There's this
- 6:30Speaker 4: emergency hatch plan nice I have as well. And this
- 6:32Speaker 4: is with everything in my life. This is not just
- 6:35Speaker 4: big things. This is with every little thing. And Tanya
- 6:39Speaker 4: is starting to plan her summer trip.
- 6:41Speaker 1: No, I don't want to plan this summer trip.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Well, he's starting to try and plan it with you.
- 6:49Speaker 2: This is You're not for it.
- 6:50Speaker 5: This has been his dream for quite some time, and
- 6:53Speaker 5: I've managed to kick the can for a while. But
- 6:56Speaker 5: he really wants to go on like a cross country
- 6:59Speaker 5: RV trip.
- 7:00Speaker 2: See the great Parks of America.
- 7:02Speaker 5: Yes, in a van with like a van like not
- 7:06Speaker 5: even like v like, I don't know a big van.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Is Sonny along? You can make your breakfast in that
- 7:14Speaker 4: little r V. Yeah, little folding chairs in front with
- 7:17Speaker 4: the awning.
- 7:19Speaker 5: I like, have zero desire, but I also like, I
- 7:22Speaker 5: want to do what makes him happy, and if this
- 7:24Speaker 5: is like a dream that he's had forever, I also
- 7:26Speaker 5: want to help him.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Partake in this dream. But I just have to no desire,
- 7:31Speaker 1: be at.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Least a bit enthusiastic about it so not. How many
- 7:35Speaker 4: nights would the RV trip be?
- 7:37Speaker 1: How much time do you to take off for this?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:39Speaker 5: Well I'm just gonna play the card of like I
- 7:41Speaker 5: can't get that much time off work to go across
- 7:42Speaker 5: the country.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Well no, no, Robbie, I can tell you she has
- 7:45Speaker 2: time a crew.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Yeah, she has lots go across the country. So I'm
- 7:50Speaker 5: thinking maybe we do like along the California coast.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well did you come up with? I mean, that's the thing.
- 7:54Speaker 2: The key to me is, I think.
- 7:55Speaker 4: The the compromise is Okay, babe, I'm down and I
- 8:01Speaker 4: can't wait to explore this because it's so exciting for you,
- 8:03Speaker 4: and you know what, I'm gonna love it. Yeah, and
- 8:05Speaker 4: we're gonna play great music, but only for X amount
- 8:07Speaker 4: of nights. I mean, you've got to come up with
- 8:09Speaker 4: and he should agree to that. You don't need to
- 8:11Speaker 4: do ye know. I don't know how long you have,
- 8:13Speaker 4: but I am full of nights right.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Across the country is like a long time cam. It
- 8:17Speaker 1: in RV is fun, though, Oh yeah, can't out of here?
- 8:21Speaker 5: You would never You don't like it either, I have,
- 8:25Speaker 5: I just don't.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I don't need to do it every single summer.
- 8:28Speaker 3: But I'm more of like every two years I get
- 8:31Speaker 3: the edge for campion again.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I like the idea of it.
- 8:35Speaker 4: The problem is all of the hours it will take
- 8:37Speaker 4: to get everywhere, My impatience level will just be through
- 8:41Speaker 4: the roof.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I mean, it does sound like the National Lampoon's Vacation movie.
- 8:44Speaker 2: This one. Robbie is Clark and you're Ellen.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I'm so nice.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Lean into it, smile, have a good time. I'll bet
- 8:52Speaker 4: you'll be pleasantly surprised. And this country is beautiful, the
- 8:56Speaker 4: things you can see when you're on the road and
- 8:58Speaker 4: see the national parks and yeah, oh gosh, we.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Did se coil last summer. Take pictures.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Thank for me?
- 9:04Speaker 8: All right?
- 9:04Speaker 4: In the bathroom at work, this hand dryer or the
- 9:07Speaker 4: paper towel, which is better?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Sometimes I don't know which one to use? Are both?
- 9:11Speaker 4: THEREFM got a quote of the day today in just
- 9:14Speaker 4: a second to get you on the right path of
- 9:17Speaker 4: spirits for this Wednesday morning. So when you go to
- 9:20Speaker 4: some restrooms, they've got your paper towels, and they've got
- 9:24Speaker 4: the dispenser, and they've got that hand dryer that you
- 9:27Speaker 4: hold your hands up to and you can use. I
- 9:29Speaker 4: don't know which one is more effective. I do now
- 9:32Speaker 4: I look this up. So if you want to get
- 9:35Speaker 4: rid of the most they say the best is paper towels.
- 9:41Speaker 4: If they have paper towels, the best way to dry
- 9:43Speaker 4: and clean off the excess germs would be with paper towels.
- 9:47Speaker 4: The air dryer is better for the environment, right, but
- 9:51Speaker 4: the paper towels are better for your hands. I am
- 9:56Speaker 4: of the height that I can use the hand dryer
- 9:59Speaker 4: as a bloat. I can get my forehead right down
- 10:02Speaker 4: under that thing.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I have to do that.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Oh, at the end of the day, I repoof it
- 10:07Speaker 2: with that hand dryer.
- 10:08Speaker 4: I just I basically get into a mini squadization exactly.
- 10:11Speaker 4: I put my forehead up and it just blows that
- 10:13Speaker 4: baby steep, steep, steep. Right. It's very exciting to me.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Today's quote. When you're good at something, you'll tell everyone.
- 10:22Speaker 4: When you're great at something, they'll tell you. Almost seven o'clock,
- 10:28Speaker 4: we are paying another bill and more tickets to go
- 10:30Speaker 4: see no doubt this fear sicity.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Let's hit the headline FM headlines.
- 10:35Speaker 1: With well, a little bit of good news.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Progress was made overnight on the Sandy fire. That's the
- 10:40Speaker 3: one right there near Seami Valley, with containment increasing to
- 10:43Speaker 3: fifteen percent, but as we know, more than forty three
- 10:47Speaker 3: thousand Semi Valley residents remain under evacuation orders. Air Quality
- 10:52Speaker 3: Monitors issued a smoke advisory for most of southern California
- 10:55Speaker 3: as the vain Verona Sandy and Santa Rosa Island fire
- 11:00Speaker 3: continue to burn. A lawsuit filed in federal court accuses
- 11:04Speaker 3: Disney of violating privacy laws by using facial recognition technology
- 11:07Speaker 3: at the Disneyland Resort and Laguna Beach just implementing an
- 11:11Speaker 3: umbrella's only policy for beach goers this summer, banning tents, canopies,
- 11:16Speaker 3: and easy ups.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Raven Lena, it's KISSFM about to pay another bill at
- 11:21Speaker 4: a trending report coming up, no doubt tickets and if
- 11:24Speaker 4: you have not sent me your name to get your
- 11:26Speaker 4: bill paid, get on that kissfm dot com keyword bills.
- 11:29Speaker 4: So Josie has a question. If you're in a relationship
- 11:34Speaker 4: and someone likes a photo on your Instagram, what do
- 11:36Speaker 4: you do? Tell me more Josie.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Okay, so I posted a picture of me in a
- 11:42Speaker 6: little very low cut top that alex Earl one if
- 11:45Speaker 6: you know which one I'm talking about. She's like, oh,
- 11:47Speaker 6: is this too much for a little bar in New Jersey?
- 11:49Speaker 6: That one, and so there was a lot showing I
- 11:52Speaker 6: looked cute. And this guy that I went to college with,
- 11:56Speaker 6: we only had one class together.
- 11:58Speaker 7: He liked the story.
- 12:00Speaker 6: And so typically when people do this, I'm like, if
- 12:02Speaker 6: I'm in a relationship, I'm just gonna unfollow them, right,
- 12:05Speaker 6: But then I find out he has a girlfriend of
- 12:08Speaker 6: two years. So then I've been wondering do I unfollow
- 12:12Speaker 6: him and mind my own business?
- 12:14Speaker 7: Or do I tell his girlfriend?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Is it not acceptable to be nice and like someone's photo. No,
- 12:20Speaker 4: it doesn't have to have strings attached to it.
- 12:22Speaker 7: But when I'm in the little outfit I was wearing.
- 12:25Speaker 6: And the other thing is that when it's an Instagram story,
- 12:28Speaker 6: that's not a public like. So it wasn't like I
- 12:31Speaker 6: posted it and his girlfriend could find out that he
- 12:33Speaker 6: liked this picture of me.
- 12:34Speaker 7: It's a secret.
- 12:35Speaker 4: So he shouldn't have liked it in your view, because
- 12:38Speaker 4: he's in that relationship. I mean, look, I wouldn't think twice.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I'd be just so happy somebody liked my photo. I
- 12:44Speaker 4: wouldn't be worried about all of the other rules to it.
- 12:47Speaker 4: But what I've done before is I've been like looking
- 12:49Speaker 4: at people's stuff and I've I think I've liked it,
- 12:52Speaker 4: and then not meant to like it. And then you know,
- 12:55Speaker 4: I got to go back and unlike it because I didn't.
- 12:58Speaker 9: Need to hit it.
- 12:58Speaker 1: But then because you were so deep the profile checking out.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I'm looking at them, I hit like, and now I
- 13:07Speaker 4: got it unlike, which is also weird.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I mean, look, this guy is not for you.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Obviously You've got your own, dude, but I wouldn't think
- 13:14Speaker 4: twice about it.
- 13:15Speaker 6: But he's a serial liker of my serial yes, of
- 13:19Speaker 6: my stories.
- 13:19Speaker 2: So he kind of still like has a thing for you.
- 13:23Speaker 7: I don't even know him.
- 13:24Speaker 6: We had one class together, and I just feel so
- 13:26Speaker 6: bad for his girlfriend, Like I want to tell her.
- 13:28Speaker 2: You don't tell her, just let yourself be liked and
- 13:31Speaker 2: move on.
- 13:32Speaker 4: But I understand you got to be a little careful
- 13:34Speaker 4: about that stuff, all right, coming up here we go
- 13:37Speaker 4: three two three. That's where I'm going next to pay
- 13:39Speaker 4: a bill if I'm in a relationship or not.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Just like a photo of me. I'm just happy.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I like her all the time.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I know you do. Thank you, you and my sister.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 13:48Speaker 4: It's kiss coming back, all right? So weekend the Hills
- 13:50Speaker 4: on Kiss FM, seacrests with you.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Tanya has a trending report.
- 13:54Speaker 4: So let's say you're traveling with the family and you
- 13:58Speaker 4: decide you want to use some points, or you want
- 14:00Speaker 4: to get the upgrade, or maybe they just are nice
- 14:03Speaker 4: and they upgrade you from coach from economy to first
- 14:06Speaker 4: Would you do it and leave your kids behind?
- 14:08Speaker 2: That's the trending report. Go ahead, Tanya.
- 14:10Speaker 5: So basically, what happened Nicholas Say spilled some tea about
- 14:13Speaker 5: his ex wife Jessica Simpson, and I don't feel like
- 14:15Speaker 5: that was his intention.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So it's like so bad.
- 14:17Speaker 5: Because he was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy
- 14:19Speaker 5: Cohen and he revealed that he back in March was
- 14:23Speaker 5: on the same flight with Jessica Simpson to Hawaii. It's
- 14:26Speaker 5: the first time they'd seen each other in about twenty years,
- 14:29Speaker 5: and he said that Jessica was up in first class
- 14:31Speaker 5: with her mom, and then Andy asked him point blank
- 14:35Speaker 5: the kids were in a separate class of service, and
- 14:37Speaker 5: they kind of confirmed it, saying, yeah, her ex husband
- 14:40Speaker 5: Eric and the kids were in economy in coach yea,
- 14:45Speaker 5: and the internet had some obviously, as the internet does,
- 14:49Speaker 5: they had some very strong opinions. Some people were like,
- 14:52Speaker 5: mom needs a break energy, like good for Jessica, like
- 14:56Speaker 5: da da da, And then a lot of other people
- 14:57Speaker 5: were like, I couldn't even imagine and going in a
- 15:01Speaker 5: different class, like and leaving my kids in a different
- 15:04Speaker 5: section of the play.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Back there with their dad.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Right, yes, but still.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Like, I don't know, if you're going on a family vacation,
- 15:11Speaker 5: how old are the kids there? They range between that's
- 15:16Speaker 5: a great question. They're not like, they're not like two
- 15:18Speaker 5: and three, they're like, I want to say, like five
- 15:19Speaker 5: to thirteen.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Very generous of dad.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Good on you let her go up there and enjoy
- 15:24Speaker 4: herself and you take care of the babysitting and economy.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Let me tell you something I remember growing up, and
- 15:33Speaker 4: it was at a time like if we got to
- 15:35Speaker 4: travel by air, forget the class. I've never seen the
- 15:38Speaker 4: first class, If we got to go economy, if we
- 15:41Speaker 4: didn't have to take the station wagon for twelve hours,
- 15:43Speaker 4: it was a huge deal. So I was just so
- 15:46Speaker 4: excited for the smell of jet fuel because I knew
- 15:49Speaker 4: we would get there faster than that Volvo station wagon
- 15:51Speaker 4: that takes twelve hours to get to my grandparents in Pennsylvania.
- 15:55Speaker 4: So I don't I'm not up in arms about that.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I just could.
- 15:58Speaker 5: I mean when I was growing up, we all sat
- 16:00Speaker 5: as a family like that was just that.
- 16:02Speaker 1: That's that's how it always was.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I couldn't imagine Weson as a family right now because
- 16:06Speaker 3: we have to because they're so little. But like, if
- 16:08Speaker 3: there's an opportunity to get first, Yeah, Michael's.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Wife upgraded there smaller in the bag coming up and
- 16:15Speaker 4: got There's No Doubt tickets at the Sphere.

- 19:10Speaker 2: Spioey and Bruno there.
- 19:12Speaker 4: We are paying your bills in a second, and then
- 19:16Speaker 4: in a few minutes eight twenty five ish, Mikayla on
- 19:20Speaker 4: the dating apps and the actual, legit, true, real opening
- 19:24Speaker 4: lines from dudes I can't get enough, And we'll decide.
- 19:28Speaker 4: We'll collectively decide who she's going to respond to. But
- 19:30Speaker 4: first let me get Jackie on the phone here. Jackie,
- 19:33Speaker 4: good morning and thanks for calling. So you blocked your
- 19:36Speaker 4: boss while you were in Las Vegas. What's the issue here?
- 19:40Speaker 10: Okay? Hi guys, So I work for a makeup brand
- 19:45Speaker 10: and part of my job is posting content on social media.
- 19:51Speaker 10: So before I went to Vegas for the weekend, I
- 19:55Speaker 10: blocked my boss. Not because I was doing anything horrible.
- 19:59Speaker 10: I just didn't want to feel like monitored while I
- 20:03Speaker 10: was out partying and posting with my friends. Got it,
- 20:07Speaker 10: And honestly, I do it all the time.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I usually just.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Block her for the weekend and then I unblock her after,
- 20:15Speaker 10: except this time I forgot. So now I'm in trouble
- 20:21Speaker 10: at work because my boss thinks that I haven't been
- 20:23Speaker 10: posting content like I'm supposed to. But I have been posting.
- 20:29Speaker 10: She just couldn't see any of it because she was blocked.
- 20:34Speaker 4: So now I'm your concern is how do you comfortably say, hey, boss,
- 20:40Speaker 4: just so you know, I tend to block you when
- 20:42Speaker 4: I don't want to know.
- 20:45Speaker 9: That.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I know that's what she's trying to figure.
- 20:47Speaker 10: Out, right, Yeah, that's the issue. If I tell her
- 20:51Speaker 10: what really happened, she knows I'm going She knows I
- 20:53Speaker 10: like intentionally blocked her. But if I don't tell her,
- 20:57Speaker 10: it looks like I wasn't doing my job and I
- 21:00Speaker 10: get written up.
- 21:01Speaker 4: So as a question, I'm just asking for a friend.
- 21:03Speaker 4: But if a friend blocked everybody here on the weekends.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Would they know they were blocked?
- 21:08Speaker 1: I think only if they went to search for that profile.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I think, so, okay, great to know for my friend, Yes,
- 21:14Speaker 4: we would know. You would How would you know if
- 21:17Speaker 4: my friend blocked here on the weekends.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I would know, but only if you physically went to
- 21:21Speaker 3: go look for If you went to search his profile
- 21:24Speaker 3: and it didn't come up, then you would know you're blocked.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you went about your business.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I don't like the idea of you having boundaries and
- 21:30Speaker 4: blocking your boss when you don't want your boss to
- 21:32Speaker 4: be bothering you. I think it's great. Can you say you, oh,
- 21:36Speaker 4: accidentally did it this time? Maybe maybe you mistake you
- 21:39Speaker 4: didn't know it was that's odd.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 21:41Speaker 4: I mean, little white lie, But that's odd. I didn't
- 21:43Speaker 4: know it was unblocked. That's why you couldn't see this stuff.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I'm doing it.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But somehow this new iOS blocked here.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and then go back into your archives and take
- 21:51Speaker 1: some shot.
- 21:51Speaker 10: Something like I didn't even realize it.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, you iOS blocked you.
- 21:57Speaker 4: iOS exactly. Yeah, that's the way. I think that's the
- 22:05Speaker 4: best way to do it. A little white lie. I
- 22:06Speaker 4: never heard anybody like that.
- 22:08Speaker 10: All right, Hey, okay, that sounds good.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Good luck with everything. There you go, boundaries. Let's block
- 22:15Speaker 4: each other on the weekends, would it be great?
- 22:18Speaker 3: I don't know that's a little extreme, can we please?
- 22:23Speaker 3: I mean I feel like already um blocked because you
- 22:25Speaker 3: don't share location with me.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So okay, So I'm you feel that already.
- 22:29Speaker 4: You're already you're already eye rolling at me for that, okay,
- 22:34Speaker 4: for safety safety, I mean, come on, I mean I'm
- 22:38Speaker 4: a strong dude.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I just know that you're home in bed and like, okay, well, if.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Anybody messes with me, they mess with the wrong five
- 22:44Speaker 4: eight yeah and a half guy size ten. Okay, Mikayla,
- 22:47Speaker 4: I'm so excited about every other week we get a
- 22:50Speaker 4: chance to read some of the opening lines that dudes
- 22:52Speaker 4: send Mikayla because she's on some of the dating apps
- 22:56Speaker 4: and they're trying to make a first impression, get her
- 22:59Speaker 4: attention and go out with her. So shall we begin?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Have you met you haven't met the right guy yet? Still, Mikhayla, Right, No,
- 23:08Speaker 4: I haven't not yet. Well maybe this list of pickup lines,
- 23:11Speaker 4: maybe there's the right guy for you here. So she's
- 23:14Speaker 4: on Hinge and the opening line. It's so powerful. It
- 23:18Speaker 4: really sets the tone. It's everything. You have a good
- 23:21Speaker 4: opening line, you don't get anything else. That's right.
- 23:24Speaker 2: So here are some real ones she received. Go ahead, Mikayla.
- 23:27Speaker 12: First one, you are my type. I'm taking you out.
- 23:31Speaker 5: That's good.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I love that one. Short, to the point, not trying
- 23:35Speaker 2: too hard, totally honest.
- 23:37Speaker 11: I like it.
- 23:38Speaker 1: That kind of worries me. In the profile, it reminds
- 23:40Speaker 1: me of Brian Austin Green.
- 23:42Speaker 2: He looks great.
- 23:43Speaker 4: I think he looks like a good looking dude. Yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 4: he's cute and he's right to the point. Check, yes,
- 23:48Speaker 4: I like him for you. Number two.
- 23:50Speaker 8: You have the kind of presence that makes a guy
- 23:52Speaker 8: fix his posture mid sentence.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I don't know what that means. Yeah, why are you slouching?
- 23:58Speaker 12: He likes up straight like I don't know.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but okay, I don't.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I mean, I see that he was trying to be creative.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Not so sure it connected with me, so okay. Next
- 24:08Speaker 4: true opening line on Hinge from guys trying to take
- 24:10Speaker 4: michaela Out.
- 24:11Speaker 8: San Francisco and May, Germany and August Vegas and October Japan.
- 24:16Speaker 12: Next January? Which one are you joining me?
- 24:17Speaker 2: For I love this braggy, braggy brag, but it's so
- 24:24Speaker 2: arrogant and braggy. I want to go ew right.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I don't know know, And is that your.
- 24:31Speaker 2: My type? Braggy? No, I don't like that. Well maybe
- 24:37Speaker 2: maybe I like that.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I mean, if somebody said to me, hey, all that stuff,
- 24:41Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, sign me up.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Where do we go?
- 24:45Speaker 4: So he's a good looking guy, nice smile. Which would
- 24:48Speaker 4: you choose? San Francisco and May, Germany in August, Vegas,
- 24:50Speaker 4: October Japan?
- 24:51Speaker 2: What would you choose?
- 24:53Speaker 12: I mean none with with him, I'm sorry, but Japan
- 24:56Speaker 12: if I had to.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Plus, he's asking you to spend the night out.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Already, well the next January.
- 25:01Speaker 4: But then I gotta tell you, whoever you are that
- 25:04Speaker 4: did that to Mikayla, I don't hate you.
- 25:07Speaker 2: All right, let's do one more. These are real pickup
- 25:09Speaker 2: lines on Hinged that Mikayla's getting okay.
- 25:11Speaker 12: Last one old claim.
- 25:12Speaker 8: But I'm probably the most interesting, funny, and thoughtful guy
- 25:15Speaker 8: you'll ever meet on this app.
- 25:16Speaker 12: I plan elite dates and love to travel.
- 25:18Speaker 8: I'm so confident in this date that if it doesn't
- 25:20Speaker 8: you don't have a great time, I'll venmo you one
- 25:22Speaker 8: hundred dollars.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I mean it's long. I mean there's some real meat
- 25:28Speaker 2: to that that I'm attracted to.
- 25:29Speaker 1: He he has a dog in his photo. Yeah, it
- 25:31Speaker 1: looks like Robbie.
- 25:34Speaker 4: With the dog.
- 25:36Speaker 11: The dog.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Actually he looks exactly like you. It's too wordy. So
- 25:42Speaker 4: my vote is this guy that says you are my type.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I'm taking you out. Let's go bro, get on it.
- 25:49Speaker 2: What is today? Wednesday? The weekend's almost here, Mikayla.
- 25:52Speaker 12: I like him.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I like the return policy. I'll venmo you one hundred dollars.
- 25:55Speaker 11: Is right?
- 25:56Speaker 2: I mean he got he got. My winner is number one?
- 25:58Speaker 2: Win win? No, do you like number one? Are you
- 26:02Speaker 2: gonna take a listen? Are you gonna have whatever you
- 26:03Speaker 2: do on hinge my type?
- 26:05Speaker 12: I'm sorry, Yes, you are open.
- 26:09Speaker 2: You are not open to finding someone?
- 26:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you alos closed off.
- 26:13Speaker 2: You're sending me the wrong vibe the hat to like,
- 26:15Speaker 2: what if?
- 26:16Speaker 1: What's wrong with the hat?
- 26:17Speaker 8: A lot of guys like are bald over there and
- 26:20Speaker 8: they're like hat fishing? Well, so what get over a
- 26:23Speaker 8: lot of guys it's so different sometimes.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Well, you're never going to meet anybody with that attitude.
- 26:28Speaker 4: You're right, you are correct, all right, I love it.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Come back in two weeks with more Katy Perry on
- 26:34Speaker 4: Kiss FM giving those no Doubt tickets. So I called
- 26:37Speaker 4: her one or two the sphere in Las Vegas and
- 26:38Speaker 4: two hundred and fifty bucks in a cash car to
- 26:41Speaker 4: spend while you're on that trip. So just to go
- 26:44Speaker 4: back for a second, we just read producer Mikayla's opening
- 26:46Speaker 4: lines at guy Center on a hinge. Only one struck
- 26:50Speaker 4: me as the guy that I would respond to. But
- 26:52Speaker 4: it's not my choice, it's up to her. She doesn't
- 26:55Speaker 4: seem open to any of those pickup lines those guys
- 26:57Speaker 4: that we were talking about. But you did have someone
- 26:59Speaker 4: come up to you and try and get your number
- 27:02Speaker 4: while you were out recently, Mikhaela, what happened?
- 27:04Speaker 8: Yeah, So I was at Laurel Tavern with some friends
- 27:06Speaker 8: this weekend. This guy comes up to us and he's like,
- 27:08Speaker 8: where do you ladies work out? And we kind of answered, like,
- 27:13Speaker 8: you know whatever, and then at the end he was like, well,
- 27:15Speaker 8: can I have your number so I can give you
- 27:17Speaker 8: a free week of personal training classes.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I've heard these lap sets. It all for me.
- 27:24Speaker 12: That made me happy, all right to him, But I
- 27:28Speaker 12: just have a problem with that with I can't say no?
- 27:31Speaker 12: So how do I say no?
- 27:32Speaker 4: In other words, you didn't really want to give me
- 27:34Speaker 4: your number? No, Well, wasn't he just offering personal training classes?
- 27:37Speaker 4: You think you're trying to take you out? I think so, okay,
- 27:41Speaker 4: So what happens? I mean, what happens when you? I mean,
- 27:45Speaker 4: I have given out my number before to guys and
- 27:49Speaker 4: I really didn't want to, you know, I mean, to
- 27:52Speaker 4: be honest with you, They're like, dude, let's hang.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't really want to hang with more
- 27:56Speaker 2: guys in my life, but here you go my number.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Joe Sie, you say you have some guidance on this.
- 28:02Speaker 6: Yeah, So when I was single and I would get
- 28:05Speaker 6: asked for my phone number, I was too scared, so
- 28:07Speaker 6: I'd give it to them and then I would just
- 28:09Speaker 6: immediately block them.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Oh go, one way to go about it.
- 28:13Speaker 4: So you so she gives out the number and then
- 28:15Speaker 4: just then you never hear from them because you block them.
- 28:17Speaker 2: All right, we walk them.
- 28:18Speaker 7: Yeah, sorry to all the people. I've done that too.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you seem very harsh. Get uh yeah, MICHAELA, no harm,
- 28:24Speaker 2: no foul there you got.
- 28:26Speaker 4: He gave him the number. Now just don't block him.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Don't let him be a text to you. There we go,
- 28:31Speaker 4: problem solved, and again flattering that the guy's coming up
- 28:34Speaker 4: one offer personal training for free for a week. Yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 4: somebody should take him.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Up on them.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, give him my number.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Tima's taken, She'll do it whatever.
- 28:44Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, it.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Is because FM not to pay another Bill's secret with
- 28:50Speaker 4: you got a lot of kiss music to play this hour.
- 28:52Speaker 4: So contact lenses. I wore him as a kid. I
- 28:55Speaker 4: stopped wearing them. I didn't like taking him in and
- 28:58Speaker 4: taking him out because I just it just was a
- 29:01Speaker 4: struggle for me. I finally got good at it, but
- 29:02Speaker 4: I didn't feel like putting my finger into my eye
- 29:05Speaker 4: was such a good idea. Right, So we went from
- 29:07Speaker 4: the smartphones, the smart watches, the smart glasses. Now here
- 29:11Speaker 4: they come smart contact lenses.
- 29:14Speaker 11: What do they do?
- 29:15Speaker 3: They do everything that kind of like your phone does,
- 29:18Speaker 3: maybe even GPS augmented reality health tracking.
- 29:23Speaker 1: All of that would be seen like floating in the sky.
- 29:27Speaker 2: From your commandit.
- 29:29Speaker 1: This is all early, early early stages.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I say, lenses show me the quickest way to Orange County.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Perhaps, I mean you are putting these directly onto your eyeball,
- 29:38Speaker 3: so that already kind of trips me out a little bit.
- 29:40Speaker 3: But different companies are already testing prototypes that could monitor
- 29:44Speaker 3: things like glucose levels, eye pressure, so it would have
- 29:48Speaker 3: a benefit, of course, but we are several years out
- 29:51Speaker 3: from this, like twenty thirty something around that.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I mean, that's what they put.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Things in our bodies, right, They right things in those bodies,
- 30:00Speaker 4: and they do fine. But I'm just looking at the
- 30:04Speaker 4: little whatever that little microchip is. Having that little microchip
- 30:08Speaker 4: in my eyeballs seems like not a great idea for
- 30:11Speaker 4: my health. And I don't know, like what if it
- 30:15Speaker 4: could start hearing what you're thinking and start activating based
- 30:18Speaker 4: on your thoughts and things like that.
- 30:20Speaker 2: It may be too much, too far, too soon, maybe.
- 30:22Speaker 1: But I think this is technology in general.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Everyone started freaking out when they were smart speakers in
- 30:26Speaker 3: their homes and all that stuff.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Our phones are listening to us all the time, blah
- 30:29Speaker 1: blah blah.
- 30:30Speaker 4: We were looking at like a map. I'd just be
- 30:32Speaker 4: staring at you, but you would know that I'm seeing
- 30:35Speaker 4: a map. I'd just be looking at you or off
- 30:37Speaker 4: into space and be.
- 30:37Speaker 7: Kind of weird.
- 30:38Speaker 1: It would be, but I feel like that's the future.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Like if it's not this, it's going to be like
- 30:43Speaker 3: the norm for us to be able to yeah you
- 30:46Speaker 3: know what I mean, just like use our hands to
- 30:48Speaker 3: like wipe through things and be able to see stuff
- 30:52Speaker 3: like without.
- 30:53Speaker 4: If you're in a relationship with someone boring or someone
- 30:56Speaker 4: you just want to tune out, kind of great because
- 30:57Speaker 4: you could like look at stuff when they would never know,
- 31:00Speaker 4: like you're listening, well, my dark's reality.
- 31:03Speaker 5: No, But in a relationship with someone that you found boring, marriage, whatever.
