- 0:14Speaker 1: Hello, you guys. Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hot Girl Energy podcast. I'm your host, Kaylee, and this
- 0:19Speaker 1: is your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a
- 0:21Speaker 1: new week, a new mindset, and another day for you
- 0:23Speaker 1: to become the hot girl energy you want to attract. Wow.
- 0:27Speaker 1: It has been a hot minute, guys. I am so sorry.
- 0:29Speaker 1: If you guys haven't seen stuff going on on my Instagram,
- 0:33Speaker 1: on my TikTok, on my YouTube, your girl has been
- 0:36Speaker 1: active on every other platform but the podcast. And I
- 0:41Speaker 1: kind of made a little statement on my Instagram story
- 0:45Speaker 1: on the hot girl energy Instagram, if you don't follow it,
- 0:47Speaker 1: but essentially I've just been in the, probably the busiest
- 0:51Speaker 1: season of my life and I'm a one man show. Okay.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Like I don't have anyone editing the podcast. I am
- 0:58Speaker 1: doing it all myself. Everything that you see posted on
- 1:00Speaker 1: my social media is done by me and me only.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You know, I used to have help with my sister,
- 1:06Speaker 1: but now she has obviously her full-time thing. So the
- 1:08Speaker 1: odd times she can obviously help by like recording a
- 1:12Speaker 1: podcast episode with me, but doesn't really have time to
- 1:14Speaker 1: like edit anymore. So, you know, it's just been a
- 1:17Speaker 1: little hard doing everything myself. And we're just going to,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know, catch up a little bit here, but also
- 1:23Speaker 1: kind of get into an episode about planning and prepping
- 1:28Speaker 1: for a new month, because I've had so many of
- 1:30Speaker 1: you guys message me on TikTok and Instagram, just saying like,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I miss the pod. I miss the motivation and And
- 1:35Speaker 1: I figured I'd do a little episode just about the
- 1:38Speaker 1: motivation around a new month, things that you can do
- 1:40Speaker 1: to kind of like prep and plan for a new
- 1:42Speaker 1: month since we are approaching November, which is crazy. How
- 1:47Speaker 1: are we already at the end of 2026, guys? I'm
- 1:50Speaker 1: having this baby in four months and I'm like, what
- 1:53Speaker 1: the actual heck? I need to start buying her things.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I got to start yeah, planning everything. But anyways, just
- 1:59Speaker 1: kind of a little reality check of what's been going
- 2:03Speaker 1: on and why I haven't been as active as I'd
- 2:06Speaker 1: like to be. I don't think I've ever been away
- 2:08Speaker 1: from the podcast for this long in terms of taking
- 2:12Speaker 1: a lot of breaks of not posting. You guys know
- 2:14Speaker 1: that I've been a weekly or bi-weekly girly for the
- 2:17Speaker 1: past four years of whenever I started this podcast. And
- 2:21Speaker 1: so as I said, we're just going through a really
- 2:23Speaker 1: busy season right now. And I am just trying my best, okay?
- 2:27Speaker 1: I am just trying my best, but you know what?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Showing up here today and being able to get on
- 2:31Speaker 1: the mic honestly means a lot to myself, and I'm proud,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and I'm happy I was able to find time to
- 2:37Speaker 1: chat with you guys. Because just so you know, I
- 2:39Speaker 1: miss you guys just as much as you might miss me.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I feel like it's as I said, really hard to
- 2:44Speaker 1: like not show up when I want to, but like
- 2:46Speaker 1: there's just been so much going on that it's been really,
- 2:48Speaker 1: really hard. Before we get into this episode, let's just
- 2:50Speaker 1: do a little five minute update of what's been going on. Firstly,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I've moved into my new house. If you guys don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: follow me on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, I highly recommend
- 2:58Speaker 1: following me there just because I've been a lot more
- 3:00Speaker 1: active there than I have been here on the pod,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but definitely have a lot of updates with the house,
- 3:05Speaker 1: a lot of furniture coming in, you know, setting things up,
- 3:08Speaker 1: a lot of house projects that are finally finished. Like
- 3:11Speaker 1: our kitchen is almost complete. The only thing we have
- 3:14Speaker 1: left to do right now is our backsplash. So that
- 3:17Speaker 1: should be done hopefully in the next week or two,
- 3:19Speaker 1: which is super exciting. And then we also have my
- 3:24Speaker 1: baby moon coming up. So I'm actually heading on my
- 3:27Speaker 1: baby moon this Friday and I've kind of been like
- 3:29Speaker 1: low key about it. I haven't really chatted about it
- 3:32Speaker 1: on socials just because I feel like I've been too
- 3:34Speaker 1: busy posting house stuff and pregnancy stuff. But yeah, We
- 3:38Speaker 1: are very excited. We are very much in need of
- 3:41Speaker 1: a trip of doing absolutely nothing for six days. We
- 3:45Speaker 1: are going to Cabo. I've never been to Cabo and
- 3:48Speaker 1: we booked a beautiful resort and I'm literally going to
- 3:50Speaker 1: lay on the beach with a big fat mocktail since
- 3:54Speaker 1: I can't have a margarita or any type of alcohol,
- 3:58Speaker 1: but a mocktail and I'm just going to literally chill
- 4:01Speaker 1: for the next six days. And I am beyond excited
- 4:05Speaker 1: to do absolutely nothing because Just these past three months,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I feel like has been truly the busiest three months ever.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And I feel like my pregnancy has actually like gone
- 4:14Speaker 1: by fast because I feel like these past three months
- 4:16Speaker 1: have just been so chaotic with house stuff and like work.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Another thing, yeah, work has been like insanely busy. I
- 4:23Speaker 1: think it's just because we're getting close to the holidays and,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you know, everything just comes in all at once apparently.
- 4:29Speaker 1: So yeah. Babymoon, which I'm super excited about. We'll be
- 4:32Speaker 1: sharing lots on social media and then probably vlogging the
- 4:35Speaker 1: trip as well for YouTube. I've been in my YouTube
- 4:37Speaker 1: era right now, which I've been loving because I just
- 4:39Speaker 1: like documenting the experience of us moving into the house.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Obviously house updates, house projects. Like I love watching that
- 4:47Speaker 1: stuff on YouTube. So for me, like being able to
- 4:49Speaker 1: document that is so fun and exciting. And of course
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'd love to document the Babymoon trip as well. So
- 4:56Speaker 1: definitely going to vlog that trip. Obviously, house projects have
- 5:00Speaker 1: been in full swing. We have a lot of furniture
- 5:03Speaker 1: that's being delivered when we get back from our Cabo trip,
- 5:06Speaker 1: which I'm so beyond excited about. We have our fireplace
- 5:09Speaker 1: being installed, some curtains that are being installed, our dining chairs,
- 5:13Speaker 1: dining table, our couches, our living room. I'm pretty sure, guys,
- 5:18Speaker 1: crossing my fingers and knock on wood, that we'll have
- 5:21Speaker 1: almost a fully furnished, at least main level of the
- 5:24Speaker 1: house by December 1st, which- It's kind of crazy. Okay.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And very exciting. So just a lot of furniture delays.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Obviously I feel like that's the reality of ordering furniture
- 5:34Speaker 1: and just, you know, waiting for it to come in.
- 5:37Speaker 1: And then on top of all this, I'm also hosting
- 5:40Speaker 1: and planning my baby shower. So that has been a lot.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean, my mom has helped me out a ton
- 5:46Speaker 1: with the baby shower as well as my sister. Um,
- 5:49Speaker 1: but like, obviously like I I'm very picky and like,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I like to have things a specific way. I feel
- 5:54Speaker 1: like I'm a perfectionist. It was the same thing with
- 5:56Speaker 1: my wedding. I hired planners, but I did a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: of the visuals for my wedding of how I wanted
- 6:04Speaker 1: things to look and feel. Anyway, so same thing with
- 6:08Speaker 1: the baby shower. I didn't hire planners, but my mom
- 6:10Speaker 1: has been a huge help with that. But as I said,
- 6:13Speaker 1: I feel like I'm the visual perfectionist when it comes
- 6:17Speaker 1: to how I want things to look and inspiration images,
- 6:20Speaker 1: all that. So I'm actually doing a pretty early baby shower.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I decided to do it before Christmas just because Obviously
- 6:27Speaker 1: with the holidays, things get really busy and I didn't
- 6:29Speaker 1: want to wait till after Christmas because I'm due in February.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So I'm like, that just feels like way too close
- 6:35Speaker 1: to my due date. And people always say to do
- 6:37Speaker 1: it earlier versus later because you feel good. Obviously in
- 6:41Speaker 1: your second trimester and typically in your third, you start
- 6:43Speaker 1: to feel, you know, a little sore. I'm hoping that's
- 6:46Speaker 1: not the case, but... You know, I'm just trying to
- 6:49Speaker 1: prepare myself that if I am feeling, you know, uncomfortable
- 6:52Speaker 1: and don't want to, you know, stand on my feet
- 6:54Speaker 1: and heels for four hours during a baby shower in January,
- 6:57Speaker 1: like I just thought it made sense to do it earlier.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So a lot going on just based off of that
- 7:03Speaker 1: little blurb of what's been going on. So that's what's
- 7:07Speaker 1: been happening and why it's been really hard to like
- 7:09Speaker 1: show up because I'm literally doing all these things that
- 7:12Speaker 1: I just said. with my life right now. But anyways,
- 7:16Speaker 1: let's get into planning and prepping for a new month.
- 7:19Speaker 1: November is around the corner and I figured this would
- 7:22Speaker 1: be the perfect episode to kind of just chat about
- 7:24Speaker 1: things that you can do to kind of prepare yourself
- 7:27Speaker 1: for a new month ahead. Okay, so every month we
- 7:29Speaker 1: kind of always talk about this, about like setting new
- 7:31Speaker 1: goals or, you know, revisiting your vision board and kind
- 7:35Speaker 1: of like seeing, okay, have I achieved things that I
- 7:37Speaker 1: wanted to achieve for myself this year, all that. But
- 7:40Speaker 1: I want to get more specific. of talking about like
- 7:43Speaker 1: health and beauty goals, work goals, social goals, and then
- 7:48Speaker 1: an other list of, you know, maybe other things that
- 7:50Speaker 1: you want to do this month specifically that you've been
- 7:54Speaker 1: wanting to get done. So kind of like have a
- 7:57Speaker 1: category for each goal. So those are my four categories
- 8:01Speaker 1: that I decided to work on and what I'm trying
- 8:04Speaker 1: to focus on this month. You could write it out
- 8:06Speaker 1: on a piece of paper. You could write it out
- 8:08Speaker 1: in your notes app in your phone. It could be
- 8:10Speaker 1: whatever works for you. But I find this like the
- 8:13Speaker 1: perfect way to just like re-motivate yourself, lock in, get
- 8:17Speaker 1: excited about a new month ahead. I know for sure
- 8:20Speaker 1: that I have lacked my motivation like so hard these
- 8:24Speaker 1: past two months because I was living at my parents' place.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I didn't have a house that I was living in.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I found it really hard to stick to a routine
- 8:32Speaker 1: when I'm literally trying to, again, live in my parents'
- 8:36Speaker 1: place while not having my own space and not being
- 8:39Speaker 1: able to like do my own thing. I don't know.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It just was like such an off few months for
- 8:43Speaker 1: me that I'm like, now that I'm in my house,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I'm like, this is my lock-in era. Okay. Like we're
- 8:48Speaker 1: officially locking in. We're officially finding a routine again and
- 8:52Speaker 1: just finding some structure in my life. And so I
- 8:56Speaker 1: had like really, really big goals for November, especially coming
- 8:59Speaker 1: back from my baby moon. I'm like, this is my
- 9:01Speaker 1: time where I'm just going to chill for this next week.
- 9:03Speaker 1: kind of like reorganize things maybe while I'm on my
- 9:06Speaker 1: trip just to prepare for my comeback era as soon
- 9:10Speaker 1: as I get home from this baby moon of just
- 9:12Speaker 1: like really focusing on November and locking in and getting
- 9:16Speaker 1: back into this one of things. So let's talk about
- 9:19Speaker 1: health and beauty goals for a second. I'm just gonna
- 9:21Speaker 1: share examples of things that I really wanna do this
- 9:25Speaker 1: coming month for each category just to kind of give
- 9:27Speaker 1: you guys some inspiration and maybe you might feel the
- 9:30Speaker 1: same way with your life right now of these certain things.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But one of them being for health wise is I
- 9:37Speaker 1: really want to get back into my 10,000 steps daily.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I have been slacking. The weather's been getting colder. Obviously
- 9:43Speaker 1: it's been harder to get outside. Um, but I have
- 9:46Speaker 1: my walking pad. So I'm like getting the walking pad
- 9:48Speaker 1: out in my new house, getting my steps in, whether
- 9:51Speaker 1: it's like watching a YouTube blog, getting some work done
- 9:53Speaker 1: at the same time. Like there's so many great ways
- 9:57Speaker 1: of finding useful time. by like habit stacking and getting
- 10:02Speaker 1: two things done at once. So I feel like I've
- 10:04Speaker 1: definitely slacked that lately and definitely something that I really
- 10:08Speaker 1: want to prioritize this month of just getting back into
- 10:12Speaker 1: my steps. And especially throughout this pregnancy, I feel like
- 10:14Speaker 1: walking has just been so amazing. Like this summer, I
- 10:17Speaker 1: walked so much every single day And I just felt
- 10:20Speaker 1: so good. So definitely just want to get back into
- 10:24Speaker 1: getting 10K steps again daily. Another big one is actually
- 10:28Speaker 1: sitting down on Sunday mornings with my morning coffee and
- 10:32Speaker 1: structuring out and planning my weeks better. Because I think
- 10:36Speaker 1: right now, because there's been so much going on in
- 10:38Speaker 1: my life, I really need to hold myself accountable and
- 10:41Speaker 1: actually organize everything in one spot. So you know, taking
- 10:46Speaker 1: out the planner again, I'll be fully transparent. The planner
- 10:48Speaker 1: has not been used since I moved out of my house.
- 10:51Speaker 1: So I moved out end of July, beginning of August
- 10:54Speaker 1: of my previous home. And like, I couldn't even tell
- 10:57Speaker 1: you where my planner is, to be honest. Like it
- 10:59Speaker 1: is probably buried at the bottom of a box right now.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So I would love to find that and get back
- 11:05Speaker 1: into that because when I think about like when I
- 11:08Speaker 1: feel organized and structured, it goes back to the days
- 11:11Speaker 1: where I'm like, I was journaling and planning. Like I
- 11:13Speaker 1: was actually holding myself accountable every single morning, writing in
- 11:17Speaker 1: that planner, writing in that journal. And again, it's been
- 11:20Speaker 1: like three or four months of just like avoiding, like
- 11:22Speaker 1: not avoiding it, but like not using it because I
- 11:25Speaker 1: just threw it in one of the moving boxes and
- 11:27Speaker 1: like almost like completely forgot about it. You know what
- 11:29Speaker 1: I mean? So I really want to use my planner
- 11:31Speaker 1: again and structure out my weeks every Sunday of just
- 11:34Speaker 1: writing out, okay, what are my appointments for this week?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Do I have you know, pregnancy appointments, because that's obviously
- 11:40Speaker 1: a new thing for me going into the season of
- 11:42Speaker 1: life of being pregnant. Like there is a lot of
- 11:45Speaker 1: OB appointments, pelvic floor appointments, doula appointments, like you name it.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Like I feel like every week there's a baby appointment,
- 11:52Speaker 1: which obviously is time consuming. But also like finding time
- 11:56Speaker 1: at home to also like make my pregnancy stretches a priority. And,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know, doing stuff like that. So sitting down on
- 12:04Speaker 1: Sundays with a coffee, planning out my week, I think
- 12:07Speaker 1: is going to make me feel so much more efficient,
- 12:10Speaker 1: make me feel so much more motivated to get through
- 12:14Speaker 1: a week, so much more organized. I think right now
- 12:16Speaker 1: I need organization in my life because I've been, you know,
- 12:20Speaker 1: living in two homes and now that I'm officially in
- 12:22Speaker 1: my new place. We're finally starting to find some, you know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: settlement in that home. I'm trying to, is that even
- 12:29Speaker 1: a word, settlement? I don't know, but I'm finally like
- 12:31Speaker 1: feeling settled in the new place. There's still obviously a
- 12:34Speaker 1: lot of stuff to unpack, but we're slowly finding, you know,
- 12:39Speaker 1: some organization in my life by, you know, slowly moving
- 12:43Speaker 1: into the house. But I also need to find some
- 12:45Speaker 1: organization in my life with work and just organizing appointments,
- 12:51Speaker 1: social life, work. balance, all that. So just trying to
- 12:56Speaker 1: really focus on planning out my weeks ahead of time
- 13:00Speaker 1: by locking in on Sundays and really just taking the
- 13:03Speaker 1: planner out and getting everything written down on a piece
- 13:06Speaker 1: of paper that I can look at every single day
- 13:09Speaker 1: and just get back into the daily planning and journaling.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Another big health goal for me actually this month is
- 13:14Speaker 1: I really want to get a gym membership. I of
- 13:16Speaker 1: course have my Pilates membership that I adore and I
- 13:19Speaker 1: have been using a lot these past few years, but
- 13:23Speaker 1: Since pregnancy, there has been some restrictions of what I
- 13:27Speaker 1: can and can't do when it comes to workouts, and
- 13:30Speaker 1: one of them being core specifically. I cannot do much
- 13:33Speaker 1: core workout right now just throughout this stage of my pregnancy.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And so I've been wanting to get a gym membership
- 13:40Speaker 1: because I feel like you can do a lot more with...
- 13:44Speaker 1: gym right now. Cause I feel like Pilates is very
- 13:47Speaker 1: core heavy. Um, and there's obviously like movements that I
- 13:50Speaker 1: can do in reformer Pilates. Like I would say like
- 13:53Speaker 1: 75% of the workout I can do. It's just like
- 13:56Speaker 1: 25% of it. I have to like modify and do
- 13:59Speaker 1: different movements, which again is totally fine. But I'm trying
- 14:02Speaker 1: to do two days a week of Pilates, two days
- 14:04Speaker 1: a week at the gym. So I'm like, I need
- 14:06Speaker 1: a gym to go to because I was using my
- 14:09Speaker 1: parents' gym when I was living there, but I'm like, uh,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I could use a change of scenery. It's also like
- 14:14Speaker 1: a fun way to like, I don't know, get out
- 14:15Speaker 1: of the house, have again, your own little bubble of
- 14:19Speaker 1: like being able to just like lock in, focus on
- 14:21Speaker 1: what you need to do. Even if it's just like
- 14:23Speaker 1: walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes, like it could
- 14:25Speaker 1: be literally whatever, but it just kind of gets me
- 14:27Speaker 1: out of the house, gives me some type of structure
- 14:30Speaker 1: and routine. And There's like this really nice gym that's
- 14:33Speaker 1: by my new place. I think I probably talked about
- 14:35Speaker 1: it in an episode not too long ago. But anyways,
- 14:39Speaker 1: just something that I've been wanting to actually hold myself
- 14:41Speaker 1: accountable for and doing this coming month. Daily stretching is
- 14:46Speaker 1: also something I've been trying to make a priority this pregnancy.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's just something that I think is so crucial. I
- 14:52Speaker 1: have definitely been feeling a little bit more achy and
- 14:54Speaker 1: sore the farther along I get. And guys, I'm already
- 14:58Speaker 1: six months, okay? How the heck am I already six months?
- 15:02Speaker 1: That's crazy. Yeah, we have a little bump. Obviously, we're showing.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And just like sleeping has been like probably the hardest
- 15:10Speaker 1: for me, like finding a comfortable position to lay in.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And so Zach was really kind and he bought me
- 15:15Speaker 1: a wedge pillow. And it's actually been amazing. I love it.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And it's been helping my sleeps a lot. But there
- 15:23Speaker 1: is daily stretches that I've gotten from my pelvic floor therapist.
- 15:27Speaker 1: And I also see a prenatal trainer. Her name's Kaylin
- 15:31Speaker 1: from Form. She's amazing. I do weekly workouts with her
- 15:33Speaker 1: and she's also giving me stretches to do. So just
- 15:36Speaker 1: like really focusing on taking 10 minutes before bed or
- 15:40Speaker 1: 10 minutes in the morning to like use my exercise ball,
- 15:43Speaker 1: stretching out my hips, stretching out my back, like just
- 15:47Speaker 1: finding time to stretch. I feel like stretching is always
- 15:50Speaker 1: something that at least I always like skip out on
- 15:52Speaker 1: when I, you know, finish a workout or before a workout,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'm always like, Oh, I don't need to warm up.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Let's just get straight to the workout. Like I just
- 15:57Speaker 1: kind of get lazy. So I'm like, yeah, no, we
- 16:01Speaker 1: actually need to work on this because these next four months,
- 16:02Speaker 1: there's going to be a lot more growth, a lot
- 16:04Speaker 1: more change to my body and things are going to
- 16:07Speaker 1: get more uncomfortable. So I just want to be on
- 16:10Speaker 1: it and really create a structured routine of just finding
- 16:14Speaker 1: a you know, 10 minutes out of my morning or
- 16:16Speaker 1: night to get some daily stretching in. Sorry, I know
- 16:19Speaker 1: some of these goals are like very specific, but again,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'm just trying to like give some inspiration here of
- 16:23Speaker 1: like what I plan on doing for the month of November.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But another one that's kind of more vague that anyone
- 16:30Speaker 1: could really add to their November goals is trying out
- 16:34Speaker 1: new recipes. I don't know about you guys, but I
- 16:36Speaker 1: have been in a recipe funk, meaning that I feel
- 16:38Speaker 1: like I've been eating the same recipes for like the
- 16:41Speaker 1: past three to four months. And I'm starting to feel
- 16:45Speaker 1: like I need to change it up. I'm like, yep. Okay.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I've loved this meal now for four months and it's
- 16:50Speaker 1: been amazing. Like I've had burger bowls. I've had spaghetti.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I've had pita pizza. Like I'm just like trying to
- 16:57Speaker 1: name a few chicken wings, you know, marry me chicken,
- 17:00Speaker 1: like some, just to name a few like recipes that
- 17:02Speaker 1: I feel like I'm constantly eating. And again, don't get
- 17:05Speaker 1: me wrong. They're great. But at the same time, I'm like,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I could use some change. So I feel like it's
- 17:12Speaker 1: time for me to like get back on Pinterest, get
- 17:14Speaker 1: back on social media, start scrolling through reels and TikToks
- 17:18Speaker 1: and just finding new recipes that are easy, quick. If
- 17:21Speaker 1: you guys have any recipe ideas, send them my way.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I love high protein meals, you know, things that have,
- 17:28Speaker 1: you know, good amount of carbs, all that, like just
- 17:30Speaker 1: obviously keep me fueled throughout the day. But I'm just
- 17:34Speaker 1: needing new recipes. There is one recipe actually that I've
- 17:36Speaker 1: been dying to try. that I've seen a few people
- 17:38Speaker 1: talk about. It's those viral Haley Bieber, I think it's
- 17:41Speaker 1: the cottage cheese meatballs, I want to say. They look incredible.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And then I also came across this like one pan
- 17:48Speaker 1: chicken lemon potato dish, which sounds amazing. So I've like
- 17:53Speaker 1: been saving a few recipes, but I haven't been executing it.
- 17:57Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Now that I have my
- 17:58Speaker 1: new stove, I have my new kitchen. I'm like, okay,
- 18:00Speaker 1: we're going to hold ourself accountable here and actually try
- 18:03Speaker 1: out these new recipes. And I also need to start
- 18:05Speaker 1: filming what I eat in a days again, because If
- 18:08Speaker 1: you've followed me for so long, I feel like I
- 18:10Speaker 1: haven't done a what I eat in a day video
- 18:12Speaker 1: in like months, okay? I think before, since before I
- 18:16Speaker 1: was pregnant. I can't believe I haven't done a single
- 18:19Speaker 1: one throughout my pregnancy. So again, now that I have
- 18:22Speaker 1: a kitchen, I'm feeling more motivated to like get back
- 18:25Speaker 1: into those kind of videos again and just like film
- 18:27Speaker 1: my normal content that I love to film. So anyways,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm starting to find my spark again. I'm starting to
- 18:33Speaker 1: see the energy that I've been missing. I think there
- 18:36Speaker 1: was just so much motivation gone once I kind of
- 18:39Speaker 1: got stripped away from my house which I mean valid
- 18:42Speaker 1: right like I'm it's hard to go back to living
- 18:46Speaker 1: with your parents when you've been on your own for
- 18:47Speaker 1: so long and also like being married being pregnant it
- 18:50Speaker 1: just kind of felt obviously I felt off so it's
- 18:53Speaker 1: just been feeling really nice to like be back into
- 18:56Speaker 1: a routine again have my own space and just be
- 18:58Speaker 1: able to like cook and I don't know, be in
- 19:01Speaker 1: my own home again. Anyways, those are my health and
- 19:04Speaker 1: wellness goals for the month of November. Another category that
- 19:08Speaker 1: you could focus on is work goals. So depending on
- 19:12Speaker 1: your work situation or maybe it's school, do you have
- 19:16Speaker 1: specific goals that you want to achieve this month? for
- 19:20Speaker 1: that specific category. So for me specifically, obviously work, I've
- 19:24Speaker 1: been wanting to really focus on getting back on the podcast.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Like that's obviously like the biggest one I think is
- 19:30Speaker 1: just like finding a weekly routine again of being able
- 19:32Speaker 1: to show up on the mic and record a podcast episode.
- 19:37Speaker 1: But also being active again on my social media, continuing
- 19:40Speaker 1: to show moving content, bringing back the content that I've
- 19:43Speaker 1: missed doing for the past few months since I have
- 19:45Speaker 1: not obviously been active as I'd like to be since not,
- 19:50Speaker 1: being in a house Um, and then also linking more
- 19:53Speaker 1: things I feel like linking is something that I lack
- 19:56Speaker 1: a lot lately and i'm like I need to get
- 19:58Speaker 1: back into linking Products for you guys consistently now that
- 20:01Speaker 1: again i'm back in the house I have a lot
- 20:03Speaker 1: of furniture things that i've ordered i've ordered a lot
- 20:05Speaker 1: of new clothes for my pregnancy. So just getting back
- 20:08Speaker 1: in the game of being consistent with linking products as well.
- 20:11Speaker 1: So that's like a small work goal for me. And again,
- 20:14Speaker 1: it's very niche just because I'm in the influencer social
- 20:17Speaker 1: media space. But think of things in your situation right
- 20:21Speaker 1: now with your job. If you're a nurse or if
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're a nursing student in school, is there exams that
- 20:26Speaker 1: you want to prep for? Is there some projects that
- 20:30Speaker 1: you need to submit by a specific date? Is it
- 20:32Speaker 1: best for you to get ahead and get those things done?
- 20:36Speaker 1: So just kind of, again, use this like work slash
- 20:39Speaker 1: school goal category as an opportunity for you to like
- 20:43Speaker 1: get ahead on things and again, focus on work related goals.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I also think it's really important to have social goals.
- 20:51Speaker 1: So making sure that you make your social life just
- 20:54Speaker 1: a priority as much as your work and health and
- 20:57Speaker 1: wellness goals. I think, you know, social interaction is so important.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I don't think you realize how important it is until
- 21:03Speaker 1: you feel isolated and you feel lonely and you're like,
- 21:07Speaker 1: wait a second, I put my social life too much
- 21:10Speaker 1: on the side and I need to get back into
- 21:13Speaker 1: going out again and like talking with people and seeing
- 21:16Speaker 1: my friends and seeing my family and all that, right?
- 21:19Speaker 1: So One thing for me specifically is, you know, finding
- 21:23Speaker 1: time to go to a workout class with friends or
- 21:26Speaker 1: going on a walk with friends. Like, again, finding ways to, like,
- 21:29Speaker 1: maybe do two things at once. If you have a
- 21:31Speaker 1: really busy life, how can I do two things at once, right? So, okay, well,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I love working out, but it'd be really nice to, like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: have some social time. So invite your friends to workout
- 21:40Speaker 1: classes that you love or go on walks together. Like, find...
- 21:44Speaker 1: something that you can do to socialize with your friends
- 21:46Speaker 1: while also getting, you know, something that you want to
- 21:49Speaker 1: get done, like a workout. Maybe it could also be
- 21:52Speaker 1: like a homework date. Like if you're in school and
- 21:55Speaker 1: you want to just, you know, get some homework done,
- 21:57Speaker 1: but see someone, go to a coffee shop and get
- 22:00Speaker 1: some homework done together. Again, work. If you work from home,
- 22:04Speaker 1: maybe you reach out to a friend that also works
- 22:06Speaker 1: from home and you guys can go to a coffee
- 22:08Speaker 1: shop together, you know, lock in. get some work done,
- 22:11Speaker 1: but also like have some social time being able to
- 22:13Speaker 1: like talk to each other and yeah, get some work done.
- 22:16Speaker 1: So just kind of like the benefit of being able
- 22:19Speaker 1: to do like two things at once while also getting
- 22:21Speaker 1: some social time in is like so crucial for our
- 22:25Speaker 1: mental health, but also just like to have some social time.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Another thing that I think is really important is making
- 22:31Speaker 1: sure that you're doing something that makes you smile every day.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So What are little things that bring you joy? Whether
- 22:37Speaker 1: it's going to a workout class, maybe it's going to
- 22:40Speaker 1: a coffee shop and getting your favorite coffee. Maybe it's
- 22:44Speaker 1: once a week you go out to dinner with friends
- 22:46Speaker 1: and you try a new restaurant out, try new food
- 22:49Speaker 1: or even a mocktail date. Like maybe it's going to
- 22:52Speaker 1: get mocktails or cocktails with your friends. Like just like
- 22:55Speaker 1: finding time each week to do like something that gets
- 22:59Speaker 1: you out of the house, social interaction. something for you
- 23:03Speaker 1: to look forward to every single week. I know for me,
- 23:06Speaker 1: life has been so busy that it's been really hard
- 23:08Speaker 1: to make the effort of seeing my friends, but there's
- 23:12Speaker 1: been ways of seeing my friends that kind of, again,
- 23:15Speaker 1: benefit both things. So for example, obviously my baby shower
- 23:18Speaker 1: is something that I'm planning. The other night I had
- 23:20Speaker 1: my girlfriends over and we had a little date night
- 23:23Speaker 1: at my house. We cooked pizza and we started planning
- 23:27Speaker 1: my baby shower. So I was able to like get
- 23:29Speaker 1: some social time in with my friends, see them, but
- 23:31Speaker 1: also like get something that I need to get done
- 23:34Speaker 1: that I've been trying to focus on. So I feel
- 23:37Speaker 1: like honestly like getting two things done at the same
- 23:39Speaker 1: time is like the best thing ever. And yeah, I'm
- 23:42Speaker 1: just trying to find ways to still be social, see
- 23:45Speaker 1: my friends, but also like still get what needs to
- 23:47Speaker 1: get done, which is like work. baby shower stuff, all that.
- 23:52Speaker 1: But anyways, that's kind of another important category that I
- 23:54Speaker 1: would make a priority when you're planning out your November
- 23:58Speaker 1: goals is what am I going to do this month
- 24:00Speaker 1: that's going to keep me social, that's going to want
- 24:02Speaker 1: me to get out of the house more and see
- 24:04Speaker 1: my friends more, my boyfriend, your husband, your friends, whatever
- 24:09Speaker 1: the case may be, like just like really find time
- 24:11Speaker 1: each week to make your social life. just as important
- 24:15Speaker 1: as a priority in comparison to your health and wellness
- 24:18Speaker 1: goals and your work goals as well. And then the
- 24:20Speaker 1: last category, which is other. So it could be absolutely anything.
- 24:25Speaker 1: For an example, for me, I am like fully in
- 24:29Speaker 1: prep mode for Christmas decor. Like I have already been
- 24:32Speaker 1: like on, you know, Pottery Barn. I've been on Zara Home.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I've been on H & M Home. I'm constantly searching
- 24:38Speaker 1: for like some Christmas decor items to decorate in my
- 24:41Speaker 1: new house. And obviously I've been so excited to be
- 24:44Speaker 1: in a new space and find ways to decorate the house.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So I've been going on Pinterest lots, obviously finding some
- 24:50Speaker 1: inspiration that way. I'm like 90% sure that Zach and
- 24:53Speaker 1: I are going to buy a new Christmas tree this
- 24:55Speaker 1: year because our ceilings in our new house are 12
- 24:58Speaker 1: feet high. And I think the current Christmas tree we
- 25:01Speaker 1: have is other six or seven feet. And I'd love
- 25:03Speaker 1: to get a nine foot Christmas tree because I'm like,
- 25:06Speaker 1: you know what? Why not get a bigger Christmas tree?
- 25:07Speaker 1: It'd be fun. We have the space for it. So yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: just kind of like getting that planning is really fun.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And I'm just, again, so excited. I feel like I
- 25:16Speaker 1: didn't get to decorate for fall this year. Of course,
- 25:19Speaker 1: having my home fully organized, I'm really just trying to
- 25:22Speaker 1: focus on getting everything moved in, but also like making
- 25:26Speaker 1: it very intentional with like going on Amazon, ordering organizers.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I've found a lot of like cutlery organizers for my
- 25:33Speaker 1: kitchen that are like perfectly made for my drawers. So
- 25:38Speaker 1: just go on Amazon and search the measurement of your
- 25:41Speaker 1: kitchen drawers and you can get like perfect size organizers
- 25:44Speaker 1: for those specific drawers. And the organization is just like
- 25:49Speaker 1: so satisfying. I don't know how to explain it, but
- 25:50Speaker 1: like I look and I'm just like, this is so
- 25:53Speaker 1: beyond satisfying. I'm so happy I like made the effort
- 25:55Speaker 1: of like making everything organized, going into this new space
- 25:59Speaker 1: and just being really intentional with how things are done.
- 26:02Speaker 1: So definitely just like spending these next few weeks of
- 26:05Speaker 1: November of just like, again, finding every, time that I
- 26:09Speaker 1: can on the weekends and weeknights to just like organize
- 26:12Speaker 1: each space a specific way. One thing I've realized is
- 26:15Speaker 1: that you do not realize how much shit you own
- 26:17Speaker 1: until you move out of a house. Like I was
- 26:21Speaker 1: shocked to see how much I had. And I'm like,
- 26:23Speaker 1: this is crazy. And we're still obviously unboxing things like
- 26:27Speaker 1: this is going to take weeks to fully unbox everything.
- 26:30Speaker 1: But yeah, that was probably the most shocking thing out
- 26:33Speaker 1: of the move was just like how much stuff I
- 26:35Speaker 1: actually owned. And I was like, damn. That's crazy. So anyways,
- 26:39Speaker 1: that's kind of been like my other category of like
- 26:41Speaker 1: Christmas decor prep, as well as just getting my home
- 26:44Speaker 1: all organized. Well, that is today's episode. I did want
- 26:48Speaker 1: to keep it somewhat short and sweet just because again,
- 26:51Speaker 1: it's been such a busy past few weeks that I, yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: have had a really hard time just like showing up
- 26:57Speaker 1: on here, but I'm happy I was able to come
- 26:59Speaker 1: on the podcast this week and get an episode live
- 27:01Speaker 1: for you guys. But I love you guys all so much.
- 27:04Speaker 1: If you're new, definitely make sure to follow me on Instagram, TikTok,
- 27:07Speaker 1: and YouTube. You guys know that I'm pretty active on
- 27:10Speaker 1: there and would love to have you come say hi
- 27:13Speaker 1: from the podcast. But I love you guys all so much.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Thank you guys for listening to another episode and I
- 27:18Speaker 1: will see you guys in next week's episode.
