- 0:10Chaplain Terry: Hello, friend, Charfing Charpon.
- 0:12Chaplain Terry: Hello, friend, Chaplain Terry Warner here.
- 0:16Chaplain Terry: Sometimes my tongue and mouth and brain don't cooperate like I supposed to.
- 0:21Chaplain Terry: But that's not the way it is today.
- 0:23Chaplain Terry: The Holy Spirit's saying on this meeting, I invited him in, he's here, and we're gonna have a good time today.
- 0:31Chaplain Terry: I'm gonna tell you a little story and then I got a little thing for you.
- 0:35Chaplain Terry: This would be about in the early 70s, 1970.
- 0:40Chaplain Terry: I did commercial refrigeration.
- 0:43Chaplain Terry: I was on top of I think it was uh Woolworth's store in Colorado Springs.
- 0:50Chaplain Terry: Maybe maybe not, maybe another one.
- 0:53Chaplain Terry: But anyway, it was it was a big unit, and I'm up there on the roof by myself, about 10 o'clock in the morning.
- 0:59Chaplain Terry: And it's it's I'm three or four levels up, I'm working on the roof and doing maintenance on the air conditioning, gre oil and uh motor bearings and grease bearings and changing filters and that kind of stuff.
- 1:16Chaplain Terry: And I get to thinking about we're supposed to rejoice in the Lord every day.
- 1:23Chaplain Terry: And sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, and sometimes I forget.
- 1:27Chaplain Terry: Sometimes I remember to do it, but I don't feel like doing it.
- 1:31Chaplain Terry: And that's that's that's a terrible situation to get in.
- 1:34Chaplain Terry: As most of you know who follow me, I have Parkinson's, and like today, this morning my low legs just ache like crazy.
- 1:45Chaplain Terry: Well, the word is health to my body, health to my bones.
- 1:52Chaplain Terry: So I get on the exercise machine, get this.
- 1:56Chaplain Terry: My knees are hurting, my legs hurt.
- 2:00Chaplain Terry: And there's a reason for it.
- 2:03Chaplain Terry: I played two days to 18 whole golf.
- 2:07Chaplain Terry: I have a good time.
- 2:08Chaplain Terry: I'm retired and I have a good time.
- 2:10Chaplain Terry: But when you walk over 10,000 steps a day at 79 years old, soon to be 80 next month, less than a month, your knees hurt.
- 2:21Chaplain Terry: So I start, I go get on the exercise machine, I have a gazelle, and I start it.
- 2:28Chaplain Terry: And I run for five minutes, and for five minutes I confess, everything I set my hand to do prospers.
- 2:37Chaplain Terry: I'm more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.
- 2:40Chaplain Terry: I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me strength.
- 2:44Chaplain Terry: The Lord my God meets all my need according to his riches and his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
- 2:50Chaplain Terry: The Lord is my life and my salvation, my shield, the lamp unto my feet, the light unto my path.
- 2:58Chaplain Terry: I live and walk in divine health and prosperity.
- 3:01Chaplain Terry: I live and walk in divine health and prosperity.
- 3:04Chaplain Terry: Did you hear that, Mr.
- 3:05Chaplain Terry: Body?
- 3:05Chaplain Terry: Did you hear that?
- 3:07Chaplain Terry: Because of Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross on the cross, I live and walk in health divine health and prosperity.
- 3:15Chaplain Terry: So I get to thinking like that, and I get to talking like that, and I got a head headset on, and this would be back, I had a little cassette player, I wore my belt with a headset, and while I was working on the air conditioner, I could sing along and meditate on the Lord, and do meditate on his word.
- 3:35Chaplain Terry: So let's look at something that I got to do.
- 3:40Chaplain Terry: You're gonna you're gonna like this.
- 3:42Chaplain Terry: Psalm 118, 24.
- 3:46Chaplain Terry: This is the day which the Lord has made.
- 3:49Chaplain Terry: We will rejoice and be glad in it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's King James.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Amplified.
- 3:58Speaker 1: 118 verse 24.
- 4:02Chaplain Terry: This is the day which the Lord has brought about.
- 4:05Chaplain Terry: We will rejoice and be glad in it.
- 4:07Chaplain Terry: So I was up here working on this air conditioning unit, and I decided I'd start rejoicing.
- 4:12Chaplain Terry: So I started dancing in the spirit, and having a good time, and doing my work and dancing, just dancing around praising the Lord, and just enjoying life and enjoying the presence of the Holy Spirit.
- 4:27Chaplain Terry: Well, I got a second wind, I guess you could say, and I took a deep breath and relaxed, and I looked around, and there were other buildings higher than me.
- 4:39Chaplain Terry: I'm on the roof, I'm on the third story on the roof.
- 4:43Chaplain Terry: Well, there's other but other buildings, eight and nine stories, four, five, six stories.
- 4:49Chaplain Terry: And they can look out the windows and see me dancing around on the roof and praising the Lord.
- 4:54Chaplain Terry: So, what did I do?
- 4:57Chaplain Terry: Did I quit doing it?
- 4:58Chaplain Terry: No.
- 4:59Chaplain Terry: That would have been too much fun.
- 5:01Chaplain Terry: Uh too that would have killed the fun.
- 5:03Chaplain Terry: So I started motioning to the people in the windows to join with me.
- 5:09Chaplain Terry: Some did, some left, some went on.
- 5:11Chaplain Terry: I don't know.
- 5:12Chaplain Terry: I like to think somebody join and join with me.
- 5:14Chaplain Terry: This is the day the Lord has made.
- 5:16Chaplain Terry: I will rejoice and be glad in it.
- 5:18Chaplain Terry: God didn't need the day to be true.
- 5:21Chaplain Terry: He does, but God doesn't need the day.
- 5:25Chaplain Terry: We need the day.
- 5:26Chaplain Terry: And we need the day to be rejoicing and dwelling in his presence and dwelling in his goodness and his loving kindness and his compassion and his mercy and dwelling in God.
- 5:37Chaplain Terry: You know, God is love.
- 5:39Chaplain Terry: He isn't he doesn't act out love, he doesn't become love, he doesn't work on loveing.
- 5:47Chaplain Terry: He is love.
- 5:48Chaplain Terry: Stop thinking about that a minute.
- 5:50Chaplain Terry: He is love.
- 5:52Chaplain Terry: Well anyway, I thought you might enjoy that.
- 5:56Chaplain Terry: And eventually I had to quit singing and rejoicing put my tools away and leave.
- 6:01Chaplain Terry: But I got I got a good job done.
- 6:03Chaplain Terry: And then that person that had that done, that corporation that I was working for that had that done, they were pleased with it.
- 6:10Chaplain Terry: Not not because of me dancing, but they were pleased because I took pains and did
- 6:16Speaker: a good job.
- 6:17Speaker: This is the day the Lord has made.
- 6:19Speaker: I will rejoice and be glad in it, whether I feel like it or not.
- 6:23Speaker: My feelings got nothing to do with it.
- 6:26Speaker: But oh I meant to I meant I meant to tell you this.
- 6:28Speaker: I get back on the exercise machine for five minutes, that's all.
- 6:32Speaker: Five minutes.
- 6:33Speaker: Because in five minutes I can quote, I live and walk in divine health and prosperity.
- 6:39Speaker: Everything I set in my hand to do prospers, I'm more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.
- 6:44Speaker: And I can do that.
- 6:45Speaker: And in five minutes, that pain's gone.
- 6:49Speaker: It may come back ten minutes later.
- 6:51Speaker: I can get back on the exercise wall too, but I can just go back to praise the Lord.
- 6:56Speaker: But most of the time, 99% of the time, as a matter of fact, all the time, the Lord heals me and that pain goes away.
- 7:05Speaker: And then through sin and the devil boom around everything, lots of times it works its way back in.
- 7:11Speaker: Don't get discouraged and quit.
- 7:14Speaker: Get encouraged and pour it on tighter, pour it on heavier, pour it on, pour it on, pour it on.
- 7:20Speaker: Jesus is Lord.
- 7:22Speaker: All right.
- 7:24Speaker: I thought you might like that.
