- 0:00Speaker 1: And it's time for us to go to God in prayer,
- 0:01Speaker 1: and as always, I invite you to join along with
- 0:04Speaker 1: me in prayer. You know, this weekend, our nation celebrates
- 0:08Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty years, and I just believe that
- 0:13Speaker 1: as a praying people, as people of God, we should
- 0:16Speaker 1: pray daily for our nation. Heavenly Father, Today we come
- 0:19Speaker 1: before you with grateful hearts as we thank you for
- 0:22Speaker 1: your hand upon our nation, upon the United States of America.
- 0:26Speaker 1: As we celebrate two hundred and fifty years of history.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We recognize that every generation has witnessed both triumphs and trials,
- 0:34Speaker 1: victories and valleys, moments of great courage, and seasons that
- 0:38Speaker 1: called us to repent. Through it all, Lord, you've remained faithful. Father.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We pause today to thank you for the freedoms we
- 0:46Speaker 1: often take for granted here in the United States. The
- 0:50Speaker 1: freedom to worship, the freedom to pray, the freedom to gather,
- 0:53Speaker 1: the freedom to speak, the opportunity to pursue the dreams
- 0:56Speaker 1: that You've placed within our hearts. We remember those who sacrifice,
- 1:00Speaker 1: those who served, those who gave of themselves so that
- 1:03Speaker 1: the future generations could experience liberty. We're grateful, Lord, and
- 1:08Speaker 1: we do not take these blessings lightly. But Father, as
- 1:11Speaker 1: we celebrate our nation's past, we also humble ourselves before
- 1:15Speaker 1: you concerning its future. Your word declares that if your people,
- 1:18Speaker 1: who are called by your name, will humble themselves, pray,
- 1:22Speaker 1: seek your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then
- 1:25Speaker 1: you will hear from heaven forgive our sins and heal
- 1:28Speaker 1: our land. So today, Lord, we ask you to begin
- 1:31Speaker 1: with us. Search our hearts. God, purify our motives, draw
- 1:35Speaker 1: us closer to You. Lord, Bring your healing where there's division.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Replace hatred with love, confusion with wisdom, fear with faith,
- 1:44Speaker 1: bitterness with forgiveness. Teach us once again how to honor
- 1:49Speaker 1: one another, how to serve one another, how to recognize
- 1:53Speaker 1: that we are stronger when we stand together than when
- 1:56Speaker 1: we are divided. Father, we pray for every leader serving
- 2:00Speaker 1: our nation. Grant them wisdom beyond their own understanding. Lead
- 2:05Speaker 1: them to pursue justice, mercy, integrity and truth. God, let
- 2:09Speaker 1: them seek what is right rather than what's popular, and
- 2:12Speaker 1: let their decisions reflect compassion and righteousness. God, we pray
- 2:17Speaker 1: for our families, our schools, our churches, our communities, our
- 2:21Speaker 1: first responders, our military, and all who faithfully serve. Place
- 2:27Speaker 1: your headge of protection around them. God, strengthen those who
- 2:30Speaker 1: are weary, comfort those who are grieving, restore those who
- 2:33Speaker 1: have lost hope. Lord, we pray especially for the next generation.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Raise up young men, Raise up young women who will
- 2:40Speaker 1: love you wholeheartedly, who will walk in integrity, who will
- 2:44Speaker 1: lead with courage, and who will use their gifts to
- 2:46Speaker 1: bless this nation and this world. Let them be known
- 2:50Speaker 1: not merely for their success, but for their character and
- 2:54Speaker 1: their unwavering faith. And Now, Father, we declare that our
- 2:57Speaker 1: hope is not found in government. Our hope is not
- 3:00Speaker 1: found in economies or human ability. Our hope is founding
- 3:03Speaker 1: you and you alone. You are the one who raises
- 3:06Speaker 1: up nations and sustains them. You are our refuge, You
- 3:10Speaker 1: are our strength, and you are ever present help in
- 3:13Speaker 1: times of trouble. As we celebrate two hundred and fifty years, God,
- 3:16Speaker 1: let us not forget that every blessing comes from your hand. God,
- 3:21Speaker 1: May gratitude feel our hearts. Humility, God, Our steps and
- 3:25Speaker 1: faith shape our future. Bless this nation, Lord, heal this land.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Let revival begin in our hearts and spread from coast
- 3:32Speaker 1: to coast unto your love, your truth, your righteousness shines
- 3:36Speaker 1: brightly for generations to come in Jesus' name. Amen, Amen,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and Amen.
