- 0:34Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hey, Mark, I'm doing pretty well. I'm in New York
- 0:38Speaker 2: City and I guess the parade is going on right
- 0:40Speaker 2: now as we speak. But yeah, you know my line
- 0:44Speaker 2: on this, of course, Mark, is that, well, congratulations, New
- 0:47Speaker 2: York can finally beat Texas and something. But look, I
- 0:52Speaker 2: am feeling good about a lot better about the economy.
- 0:56Speaker 2: We're seeing oil prices down to saw about seventy four
- 0:59Speaker 2: to seventy five dollars a barrel, down from ninety five
- 1:01Speaker 2: dollars a barrow, so people are going to start to
- 1:03Speaker 2: feel the effects of that in their gas tank sometime
- 1:07Speaker 2: in the next few weeks. I think we could see,
- 1:10Speaker 2: depending on where you live, I think we could see
- 1:13Speaker 2: nationally the gas price fall from about four dollars to
- 1:15Speaker 2: do about three fifty a gallon, which will be really
- 1:18Speaker 2: fantastic for the US economy. And you know, we've got
- 1:22Speaker 2: an investment boom on this going on. As Larry Cudler
- 1:25Speaker 2: would say, we're you know, it's not just space X,
- 1:28Speaker 2: but so many of these companies are used taking advantage
- 1:30Speaker 2: of the Trump tax cut, which really lowered the tax
- 1:33Speaker 2: on investment. And we are just seeing a lot of construction,
- 1:39Speaker 2: a lot of manufacturing, So the economy is ready to explode.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I think.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm getting reports from around the country, not New York,
- 1:47Speaker 1: but around the country. Gas now at three seventy at
- 1:49Speaker 1: their local stations New York, California. They'll keep the price
- 1:53Speaker 1: artificially high with their stupid state stuff.
- 1:56Speaker 2: But have you noticed, by the way, a pattern there
- 1:58Speaker 2: where the Blue states have much more expensive gas than
- 2:01Speaker 2: the play stakes.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Now, people forget Joe Biden, with that huge spike in
- 2:08Speaker 1: gas prices was deliberate. He shut down drilling to deliberately
- 2:12Speaker 1: raise the price. Everybody forget.
- 2:14Speaker 2: That's a good point. Yeah, yeah, In fact, we showed
- 2:17Speaker 2: in our hotline the other the average price of gasoline,
- 2:21Speaker 2: you know, over you know, if you look at like
- 2:23Speaker 2: Trump's first term, go back to under Obama and then
- 2:27Speaker 2: Trump's first term, and then Biden and Trump's second term,
- 2:31Speaker 2: the lowest gas prices on average. First, the lowest were
- 2:34Speaker 2: during Trump's first term, the second lowest were during Trump's
- 2:38Speaker 2: second term, even with the increased spike that we've seen
- 2:40Speaker 2: in the last three months, and then Biden and then
- 2:44Speaker 2: Obama had the highest gas prices.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Obama not Biden.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but he didn't like He didn't like fossil fuels
- 2:51Speaker 2: too much either. But here's the thing. When the gas
- 2:56Speaker 2: price starts to come down, which it will, that's like
- 2:59Speaker 2: attack cut for the American economy. And then when you
- 3:02Speaker 2: put on top of that the fact that we've got
- 3:05Speaker 2: this AI boom, that's I know some people are afraid
- 3:07Speaker 2: of AI, but the productivity improvements already CEOs and heads
- 3:12Speaker 2: of manufacturing firms and so on are saying, the increase
- 3:15Speaker 2: in productivity is amazing. It's cutting our costs. And guess
- 3:19Speaker 2: what when companies cut their costs, they were able to
- 3:21Speaker 2: cut their prices. So I think, you know, I agree
- 3:24Speaker 2: with Larry Kudlow. I was on his show last night
- 3:27Speaker 2: and he was saying, you know, we could see zero
- 3:29Speaker 2: inflation in the next few months.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Wow. And we got a good fed chairman now, so
- 3:34Speaker 1: we don't have to worry, why do we? Yeah? Hey,
- 3:38Speaker 1: besides this Knicks parade, the other big celebrity event, the
- 3:41Speaker 1: three X Presidents is your hometown of Chicago. The Obama
- 3:45Speaker 1: Library opens today. It looks idious, but all these ex presidents,
- 3:50Speaker 1: Bruce Springsteen, all these other celebrities are there. Have you
- 3:53Speaker 1: seen what it looks like that Obama Library.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of ugly, you know, and I, you know,
- 4:02Speaker 2: I haven't physically seen that. I've seen some pictures of it.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And then of course they you know, gee, who would
- 4:07Speaker 2: have thought Justicago would have cost over runs? But currently
- 4:10Speaker 2: a lot of the huge cost over runs. Yeah, it costs,
- 4:13Speaker 2: by the way, a billion dollars. I've heard or more
- 4:15Speaker 2: that built that a billion dollars. It's a lot of money,
- 4:19Speaker 2: and a lot of the contractors have been stiffed. They
- 4:21Speaker 2: haven't been paid.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, if you look at the building, that's a maybe
- 4:24Speaker 1: one hundred million dollar job at the most. Speaking speaking
- 4:28Speaker 1: out Illinois, they're crazy. Governor Pritzker. What is it with
- 4:32Speaker 1: him in these taxes on every industry he needs to
- 4:34Speaker 1: be nice to. Yeah.
- 4:37Speaker 2: One of the things that's really surprised me, Mark is that,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you know, if you go to Silicon Valley or you
- 4:41Speaker 2: go to some of these tech centers in America, like
- 4:43Speaker 2: in Massachusetts, they're all Democrats, you know, in the CEOs,
- 4:47Speaker 2: you know, and that's changing a little bit with Trump
- 4:50Speaker 2: because they're meet meet with Trump now all the time,
- 4:52Speaker 2: but most of them are pretty liberal Democrats. And the
- 4:54Speaker 2: workers there are almost all Democrats. And yet who's taxing them?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Oh gee? Yeah. Pritsker has the first baby bridge growth
- 5:01Speaker 2: courses the governor of Illinois. He has this big new
- 5:04Speaker 2: tax on social media use on you know, if you're
- 5:07Speaker 2: gonna use the Internet, they're gonna tax you, and on
- 5:10Speaker 2: cryptocurrencies and data centers and so on. I'm like, well,
- 5:15Speaker 2: why why did these CEOs of these big you know,
- 5:18Speaker 2: trillion dollar you know, multimillion dollar, billion dollar tech companies
- 5:23Speaker 2: give all their money Democrats and then they turn around
- 5:25Speaker 2: and stab them.
- 5:26Speaker 1: In the back. Well, you know, the blue collar workers
- 5:28Speaker 1: all Democrats, after they saw what was going on, switched
- 5:31Speaker 1: over the Republicans. Much of the Hispanic community. So now
- 5:34Speaker 1: the tech industry will switch over to Republicans.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I think that you're going to see that. And you know,
- 5:40Speaker 2: by the way, I just have to say because this
- 5:42Speaker 2: happened last Friday, so we haven't talked since then. But
- 5:44Speaker 2: you know what happened with the space x ipo two
- 5:48Speaker 2: trillion dollar company. Here's a guy who came to the
- 5:50Speaker 2: United States as an immigrant. He wasn't poor, but he
- 5:52Speaker 2: wasn't rich. You know, they were kind of middle class family.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I think he started as like a welder, and now he's,
- 5:58Speaker 2: you know, the richest guy in the world. Well, he's
- 6:01Speaker 2: developed these incredible technologies and businesses that made did you
- 6:04Speaker 2: see five thousand people almost who were made millionaires because
- 6:09Speaker 2: of Eloud Musk and some of them where people were
- 6:11Speaker 2: like just frontline workers at space x, blue collar workers, millionaires.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, this hatred for him. Some of these these democrats
- 6:19Speaker 1: think that the money he makes, he's taking it from
- 6:22Speaker 1: somebody else. I don't think they realize he's just earning it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's not coming out of anywhere.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a very good point. You see, we
- 6:30Speaker 2: view you know as free market supplies that we view
- 6:34Speaker 2: as id have increased the production, increase, create something out
- 6:38Speaker 2: of nothing.
- 6:39Speaker 1: That's the other thing.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You know. He comes into the country with nothing and
- 6:42Speaker 2: he creates a two trillion dollar business. It's mind numbing
- 6:46Speaker 2: and out of nothing, I mean, And that is what
- 6:49Speaker 2: free market capitalism is all about.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Now, when those Warren and those types, she was yelling
- 6:54Speaker 1: that all this money, why just three hundred billion of
- 6:58Speaker 1: them would take care of all the homeless. Did they
- 7:00Speaker 1: not understand that they've spent three hundred billion on homelessness
- 7:04Speaker 1: a thousand times and it hasn't done anything to help
- 7:06Speaker 1: they misspend all the money.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the best way to help the homeless
- 7:10Speaker 2: get them a job.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But does government spending is just you know, Doze was
- 7:18Speaker 1: a good idea. Will we ever get that under control?
- 7:21Speaker 1: I mean, we overpaid by like ten thousand percent for
- 7:23Speaker 1: every government project and the work stinks.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Well, I've been, you know, trying to do that for
- 7:31Speaker 2: forty years in my career, get cut government spending, and
- 7:34Speaker 2: I've kind of struck out. So do you have any
- 7:35Speaker 2: good new strategies?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah, let the private sector do it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, right, I mean I think you on Musk. You know,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I don't know him personally. I've never actually met him personally,
- 7:46Speaker 2: but I'm sure he was frustrated because when you're a CEO,
- 7:49Speaker 2: you come in and say, you know, do this, do that,
- 7:51Speaker 2: you can get this done. Blah blah blah. You can't
- 7:53Speaker 2: do that.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Government.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It's just like they're stucked. They can't get out of
- 7:56Speaker 2: this mode. Even when they know they're wasting money, they
- 7:59Speaker 2: keep Countress keeps authorizing money for the programs, and then
- 8:02Speaker 2: nobody ever's punished for stealing the money from the taxpayers.
- 8:06Speaker 2: And so you have fraud rates of these government programs,
- 8:09Speaker 2: sometimes twenty five percent fraud rates. I mean, can you
- 8:12Speaker 2: imagine running a business that you have twenty five percent
- 8:15Speaker 2: fraud rate? You'd be out of business in two weeks.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Steve Moore, great stuff, and you got to
- 8:22Speaker 1: do a new book. The Trump Economic Miracle is a
- 8:24Speaker 1: great book. Everybody should go buy it. But you are
- 8:26Speaker 1: working on an update of it.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Well it's a miracle. I'm just sitting back watching it happen.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And look, if this piece deal works out, boy, it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: gonna be good for everybody. And you know, I was
- 8:38Speaker 2: on CNN last night, you know why Trump is so bad.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I'm like, like, you're the people for the last fifty
- 8:43Speaker 2: years have been talking about no nukes, no nukes, and
- 8:45Speaker 2: now Trump is doing that.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And you're a custom well you are a brave guy
- 8:48Speaker 1: going he's been going on CNN for you.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Well, great stuff, Steve Moore, thanks for being with us.
- 8:55Speaker 1: We'll talk again soon. Okay. Thanks, take care. Everybody. Get
- 8:59Speaker 1: his book True Economic Miracle and sign up for that

- 9:09Speaker 1: It's called the Hotline. Just sign. It's free. It'll come
- 9:11Speaker 1: right to your email Unleash Prosperity dot com. So the
- 9:16Speaker 1: Knick's parade is underway on a float. Is Mom Donnie
- 9:20Speaker 1: waving to people. They got these floats with the players
- 9:23Speaker 1: on it and somewhere on the top of those big
- 9:25Speaker 1: double decker buses. But a lot of the superstars from
- 9:29Speaker 1: the past and a lot of the other big names
- 9:31Speaker 1: they're riding in cars. And the problem is if you're
- 9:35Speaker 1: in that crowd, like you know, ten people back are
- 9:37Speaker 1: thirty people back, you can't see everybody's head. You know,
- 9:40Speaker 1: cars kind of low, so they're not raised up high
- 9:43Speaker 1: like on a float. But we'll keep an eye on
- 9:46Speaker 1: the parade for you. Now, the big thing you're going
- 9:47Speaker 1: to want to hear is the ceremony. Once they all
- 9:50Speaker 1: get to City Hall, that's where they're going to do
- 9:52Speaker 1: the big ceremony. The players and everybody will speak and
- 9:55Speaker 1: they'll get the award. Alicia Keys will sing live. She's
- 9:58Speaker 1: going to sing Empire state of Mind. That's what you
- 10:01Speaker 1: want to hear. We'll bring it to you live. Should
- 10:03Speaker 1: start around eleven thirty, but just be listening here. We'll

- 10:14Speaker 1: on seven to ten woor
