- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I just didn't know what to do to stop suffering other than to keep reading Enlightenment teachings and hope that something would stick.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Oneness is the nature of everything, and so there's actually no problems in reality.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of funny because I seem to think there are problems, but there aren't any.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Each one of us that expands our consciousness contributes to the collective in raising the collective consciousness.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breaths.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to the show.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: So this week I'm super excited for this guest, and I think you're gonna find him really fascinating.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: His name is Aaron Abkey, and he was born and raised as a pastor's son in California.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: And he originally wanted to work in the church like his father.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: So he got a bachelor's in music and theology and spent one year as a full-time pastor in California.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: But he really was called to pursue deeper levels of spirituality.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: And I think that this happens with a lot of people who are naturally drawn to religion, is that they are deeply spiritual and eventually they realize that they have their own spiritual gifts to share.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Cause obviously, religion, we all know, is a program and does not allow you that direct connection with your higher self, with God, with the universe, all of that.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: So he broke away from that and um started to pursue spirituality.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: He was actually a fitness model for a while.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: And then he had this crazy spiritual awakening, which he'll talk about on the show.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: It's really wild.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: And then he just decided he was going to completely dedicate his life to teaching spirituality and helping people through their own spiritual awakenings.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: And now he teaches unity consciousness and this what he calls the law of one.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: And he talks about his teachings of living in the fourth density, which you'll learn and hear him explain.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: So he is really fascinating, and you'll all want to give him a follow because it's a great story and we have a great conversation.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Um, and he just kind of opens you up to things and he has a really great energy, really great vibe, really high frequency.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: So I know you'll get activated by this conversation.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: So just a few announcements.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: So much going on.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: So my new program, Trust, is starting next week.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: And this program was really born out of me reflecting on what got me to six-figure months so quickly, right?
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: And obviously, there's different factors in this, but I was really reflecting on the way that I moved, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Like the way that I engaged with my business and my growth.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And that's where this program was born from.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Because of the trauma that I cleared so quickly, because of the tools that I have created to move through trauma, I was able to anchor into this relationship with myself, where I just didn't create any stories or drama around anything.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: When I knew I was supposed to do something, I just did it.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: And I took a lot of trust falls.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I made a lot of decisions where I didn't know fully where the money was coming from, but I knew that I was supposed to do it.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: And I was deeply connected with my desires.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: And I think what I see with a lot of women is that because of the programming we have and because of these stories that we tell ourselves about what we're allowed to have, what's available to us, and the fears that we have about really stepping forward as your powerful, potent self, we don't even allow ourselves to access these deeper desires.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: So we may feel it, but we press it down or we tell ourselves, no, not right now.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: It's not right.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: And we think we're being logical, but really we're acting out of fear.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: And this program is about activating you into accessing and listening to those deeper desires that you have within you that are actually telling you where to go and how to grow quickly.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna help you access those and then act from that place so that you're able to listen to your energy and move quickly so that you can move with speed and you can grow your business with speed.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: And obviously, even if you're not a business owner, this course will be amazing for you because it's all about deepening the relationship with yourself.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: So you fully just listen to your intuition, which creates very high levels of magnetism, very high levels of speed.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: And you just go right.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: And that's where this was born from is me really wanting to teach about how I move so quickly in my business because I want everyone else to do the same thing.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: I want you to do the same thing.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: And again, even if you don't have a business or you are thinking about starting one, this is for you also because this energetic is so needed when it comes to your own personal growth process.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: I see that this is what stops people is having this deeper connection with yourself, having this deeper relationship with yourself and fully honoring and trusting it.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Because we have been programmed from so many directions, so many levels of why we should not fully listen to ourselves.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: You know, like there are so many things that have happened in your past where you made the decision that you couldn't trust yourself and you couldn't trust other people.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And the times that you made those decisions that you couldn't trust other people are the times where you decided that you need to play it safe so you don't get hurt.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: And the part of you that's protecting yourself from being hurt is the part of you that's stopping you from growing.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: And we are gonna dismantle all of that in this program so that you can grow with the speed that you're meant to and you can become magnetic in the way that you're really meant to, so you can help the people that you're meant to help.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: So uh we start next week on Monday.

- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Hi, everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: So, I am super excited to introduce today's guest to you.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Today we have Aaron Abhee with us.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: And Aaron was born as a pastor's son in the Silicon Valley of California, and he desired to work in church ministry.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: I'm actually gonna read this whole bio, which I don't often do, but I think this is fascinating, if you don't mind.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Um, he desired to work in church ministry like his father and attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating with a bachelor's degree in music and theology.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: He spent one year working as a full-time worship pastor until eventually at 23, he felt called to leave his religion and pursue a deeper and more authentic spirituality.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: At 27 years old, Aaron had a dramatic spiritual awakening that changed the course of his life.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: And he was working as a signed fitness model in San Francisco and competing at the national level in men's bodybuilding at the time, and completely walked out of his former life to dedicate his life to seeking how to return to the state of liberation permanently.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: His passion is in teaching the science and art of spiritual ascension and bliss consciousness to the world.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: And he believes that enlightenment is the next evolutionary leap for mankind and is available now for anyone who truly desires it.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Well, that is very aligned with our show.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: So welcome, Aaron.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Thanks so much for having me.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: Pleasure to be with you.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm super excited to dive into all this.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: So I'd love to hear the beginning of your journey and what were some of those pivotal moments where you like realized you had to completely change your trajectory.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Well, it was a pretty long journey in the sense that I grew up as a pastor's kid, like you read in my bio, and was super devout as a Christian my whole life uh in evangelical Christianity.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: So I grew up around like the supernatural and miracles and all that kind of fun stuff was just normal to me as a kid and all through, you know, high school and into college.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: And so I really wanted to be a pastor like my dad and follow in his footsteps and do ministry and all that, and had prepared my whole life for doing that.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: And um, when I was 23, I graduated from Oral Roberts University and uh with a degree in music and theology to be a worship pastor and got my first job at a church in San Jose where I grew up as a full-time worship leader.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: And my parents' church, we emphasized kind of all the best aspects of Christianity, I think the love of God, the forgiveness of God, you know, worship, devotion.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: We didn't talk about, you know, who's going to hell and the rapture and didn't preach too much of the fundamentalist stuff.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: So I didn't have to face those doctrines too much, if that makes sense.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: But man, when I was 23, I got this job at a church that was like radically fundamentalist.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: And uh they wanted to talk all the time about who's going to hell.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: And I mean, it was without going into too much detail, it was like stepping back in a time portal or something, because they literally had like like women weren't allowed to speak on stage unless a man was on the stage to like sanctify whatever the hell.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know, even know what the belief is, to be honest, but women were like seen as inferior to men and all this stuff.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So I was like struck with I didn't know what I was getting into when I got that job until I had already signed the papers.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: And then I was like, oh, this is very different than I thought.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: And it was a such a catalyst from the universe that was forcing me to sort of accept, like or to decide whether I accept this version of God or not.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And I just could not stomach it at all because the God I knew was so loving and forgiving and gracious and all that stuff.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Was that the first time that you questioned your faith or your religion?
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, looking back, it's hard to remember when the first questions started coming up.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: I I do vividly remember being 18 years old, and this might have been the first kind of like, wait a minute, moment.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: I was reading the passage in uh the Old Testament where I don't know if you know this passage, but like Abraham gets in this weird conversation with God about sparing, I think it's the city of Lot, or is it Sodom and Gomorrah?
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: But he's like, God, if I can find a hundred righteous people in the city, will you spare it?
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And God's like, okay, fine.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: If you can find a hundred righteous people, I won't destroy the city.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: And then he's like, Great, thank you.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: You're so merciful.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: But I beseech thee, Lord, what about 90 people?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: And God's like, Bah, bahumbug.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, fine.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: If you can find 90 people, and he whittles God down to 10 people and then down to one person, and God agrees, if I if you can find me one person who's righteous, I won't kill everybody.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: And I like had never really read that as an adult before.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And I was just like, Oh, like something in my bones went, That's not true.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Like, that's my people, and but I kind of threw it under the rug and moved on.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: But from that point, like I would read the Bible from this lens every so often of being like, I think that sounds like something people made up, you know, ancient people.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: So basically I told my pastor at 23, like, I can't work here.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: I don't believe the stuff you guys teach.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I have to quit.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: And I kind of blew up my whole life and moved back to Oklahoma, where I grew up, and just kind of devoted my whole life to reclaiming who God is, what I believe about the divine.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: And that really led me into Eastern traditions, especially of Hinduism and Buddhism.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: And uh, and then at 27, after four more years of like heavy seeking and you know, following Enlightenment teachings, I'd gotten divorced at 26.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: I left my religion and lost every friend I had in my entire life because I was now a heretic, right?
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: All my family members kind of ostracized me other than my parents and sister.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: And so I had nobody in my life, got divorced, moved back home to California, and just all the all the dark night of the soul kind of started from that point.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: And that's what led me to the seeking of like, how do I get free from this?
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: And then at 27, I had that kind of awakening experience.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: It's interesting too, because I don't know how like into astrology you are, but I think that's right around your Saturn return, also.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: Yes, it was, yeah.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: So it seems like the perfect thing that would happen during your Saturn return.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: So then what happened next?
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Like, then you started to open up to spirituality and just like discover different things about yourself and like what was really going on.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: What happened next?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: So I got really into like Alan Watts initially, and then Alan Watts led me to Eckhart Tole and Muji and stuff and Rupert Spira.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: So I was listening to all these, you know, enlightenment teachers and reading a lot.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: And so I was starting to understand the concept of enlightenment a little bit, and it was definitely what I was looking for in my life.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: But leaving Christianity, it was like my whole foundation or framework for who I am was turned upside down.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: So like I really ran into fitness for a while of like this is my identity and this is what gives me meaning.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: So, you know, fitness modeling, bodybuilding.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: I was a personal trainer at Google for eight years.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And so I was working at Google at 27 when it happened.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: And this was really like at the kind of pinnacle of my depression.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: I was just waking up every day, like so depressed, so many, you know, horrible stories in my mind I couldn't get rid of.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: And I just didn't know what to do to stop suffering other than to keep reading Enlightenment teachings and hope that something would stick.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: At this point in my life, I was going out to the balcony above the gym I worked at at Google on my lunch break every day.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: You know, I would just like sit there and watch the clouds and listen to Eckhart Tole for about an hour.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And that was the only time in my day that I would have some real peace of mind, just like listening to Eckhart talk.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: And so I'd probably have done that for like three or four months until one day, you know, the planets must have aligned or something, because I was listening to this lecture from Eckhart, and he was uh sort of like mocking things ego says to us in our head, and then like laughing at it, and then the audience would laugh, and then he would pause for a few seconds and then say another one, and the audience would laugh.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: And so I was like laughing with Eckhart as he was saying these things because I started to recognize, oh, yeah, man, that's totally what my mind says to me every day.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: He would say things like, if only people would recognize how special I am, then I would truly be happy.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: Stuff like that.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: I was like, ah, that is exactly what my ego thinks, man.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: And I started laughing to the point where laughter can sometimes be a really powerful way to realize a truth.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: And so I kind of like laughed myself into this moment of self-realization where I kind of saw the game being played, the cosmic game, that I'm just the universe dreaming this body, this person on this long journey to return to myself and stuff.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: And it's all just a dream.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Really, what I am is the universe itself.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Oneness is the nature of everything.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: And so there's actually no problems in reality.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of funny because I seem to think there are problems, but there aren't any.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And so I was just laughing in this state of realization until it turned into deep sobbing and like joyful tears of release.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And um, there was like, you know, a bunch of people to my left eating their lunch, and I was completely oblivious halfway through the experience until like I sort of recognized, oh, yeah, I'm not alone up here.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: And I had gone from like laughing to sobbing, and there's these people over here looking at me like, should we go see if he's okay?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, he seems to be doing well now.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Like now he's laughing.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, now he's crying.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: But I like didn't care at all because even that was part of the play.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: So it was this total like Satoria moment that um, you know, I went down to my my next training session after my lunch break was over and just kind of floated into the gym in this nirvana state.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: And I remember my client even said, Wow, Aaron, you look really happy today, or something like that.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: And I said, Yeah, I am really happy today.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: And I spent two weeks in that exact state of consciousness, unbroken, like total Buddhahood for two weeks.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: It was impossible to even remember what suffering felt like.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: You know, that's how much freedom there was in that state.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: All I knew was the sacredness and joy of this present moment.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And like, why would you even care about anything else?
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: You know, it's so obvious when you're in that state.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: And uh what happened was two weeks to the day, I woke up, checked my phone in the morning before getting ready for work, and I noticed, oh, wow, it's been two full weeks that I've been in this state and hadn't really thought about it that way until then.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: I was just so much in the joy of being.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: But I thought about it, and the first kind of ego thought came back online.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: And the thought was, wow, I wonder if I'm enlightened.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: And I didn't catch that that was ego, right?
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Trying to claim it.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: And so I kind of was like, oh, maybe I yeah, maybe I am.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Wow, this is cool.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: I'm like, it's like Eckhart or something.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Then the ego started crawling its way back into Dominion, taking the throne back of the mind, and all the stories came back and the suffering slowly came back.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: What's funny is, you know, I was so devastated to notice that that state was leaving because it was just all I knew for those two weeks, and I thought it was gonna be permanent.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And so this looming depression started creeping in of like, what if this is gonna go away?
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna go back to that hellish reality you were living in in your mind.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: I was like, no, I can't even imagine that.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no, I'm gonna keep this, I'll do anything.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And so I noticed that if I smoked cannabis, it would plunge me back into that state of just total emptiness and oneness.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: So like I was just trying to stay high all the time.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: And so that lengthened it like another two weeks if I could stay really high, you know?
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: And then even that couldn't keep it anymore.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: And that started bringing up the depression that was in the background.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And so basically, I lost the pearl of great price.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: You know, I felt like I'd been given this free sample of enlightenment and I whoops and slipped and dropped it into a gutter or something.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: I felt like such an idiot.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: I felt like a loser.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: And that was the beginning of I don't know if it was you can call it the end of the dark night or my second dark night, but the depression got way worse because now I had my mind had way more evidence for why I was unworthy and a loser.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: It's like, hey, you got kicked out of heaven, man.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Heaven invited you in, they found you unworthy, kicked you back out.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: But the blessing of that was two major things was that number one, now I could no longer doubt that enlightenment is real.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: 100% evidence that that is a truly available state of consciousness for the human in this lifetime.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: And it is as good as promised, you know.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Number two was it totally removed any remote interest in anything else in life but enlightenment.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: That's why I said in the bio, I just walked out of my life.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: Nothing mattered anymore, quit my modeling job, quit bodybuilding, even though I was on the national level, couldn't have cared less.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: I felt embarrassed to be involved in it.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Like nothing mattered to me but getting back to that state.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: So I just devoted myself to studying more, reading more, meditating more, and again, just kind of doing whatever I could until something would stick.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: And slowly but surely, through remembering what it was like to be in that state of total liberation, I could start to sort of back engineer it and remember, like, oh no, in that state, I don't think of myself as a body and stuff like that.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: So I was given a very precious gift of like the analogy I give is like if you're gonna climb a mountain, a really big mountain, you don't know what the best path to take is and stuff.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: But if someone could snap their fingers and you're at the top of the mountain and now you can look down and have you have 30 seconds to like navigate your path, and then poof, you're back at the bottom.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: Well, hey, now you have a huge advantage, right?
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: You've seen it for a, you've glimpsed it for a minute, you can remember what the best path is.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: It was kind of like that.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And so from 27 to about 30 was this intense seeking towards that state.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: And then at about 30 to 31, it started to just effortlessly kind of settle in.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: And the remembrance of, oh, yes, there's just this.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: All the stories are unreal.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: The same recognition I had on that balcony at 27 started to become more natural.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: I didn't have to work for it anymore.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: And once I reached that point, you know, a lot of people ask, like, well, have you reached that state again?
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And the answer is yes and no, because it's not a state you reach as if it's something outside of you, right?
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: It's like you're deluding yourself with a bunch of wrong ideas, and you have to just figure out how to stop believing what's false.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: So, in that 27-year-old experience, I'd never tasted that before.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: So it was very disorienting in the sense of I didn't even know what was going on in my mind.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: It was so empty that I sometimes I'll call it like the experience of no-self, where I would walk past a reflection of myself on a window or a mirror and like be shocked to see a body staring back at me.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: And I was just very like, um, I'm sure that the way people interacted with me was like I was, I probably seemed very spaced out and blissed out because I didn't know what was happening.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: And so after the slow melting back into that recognition, it feels more grounded now.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: It just feels so natural now.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Whereas at that age of 27, it was very like strange, but but wonderful.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: But I truly had no clue what was going on.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: So it's just my joy every day to teach on YouTube and uh in my master classes and things.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: You guys have no idea how available this is.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: It's really that we make it such a lofty goal and we push it so far away from us and pedestalize it and then make it this insurmountable achievement.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: That's really the main problem.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: It's like this is our nature already.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: And beginning by believing that is how we find it, right?
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: And I think the the gift of that experience was that it gave me that understanding that this is my nature.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: I just have to get over all this wrong conditioning I've put in its place.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: I really want to ask about growing up with your obviously religious background.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: And like, do you feel like that contributed to you being able to get into this place?
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: And also, do you think there was a level of like deprogramming you had to do from that, you know, religious experience?
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Because I'm sure it's both, right?
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: I'm sure it helped and didn't.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: So I'd love to hear a little bit about that.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's definitely yes to both.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: The blessing of growing up that way was that it instilled in me this uh radical love for God, this total passion for the divine.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: And from the time I can remember, nothing else was really more important to me than God and knowing God.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: But an interesting thing happened when I left Christianity at 23 was that, you know, Eastern religion, we could say, is um more much more masculine-oriented in that it's a very much a knowledge-based, intellectual-based understanding of the divine, like the wisdom path.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: And the West is more of the feminine approach, you know, Christianity and stuff, it's like worship, devotion, love.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: And so in in the feminine side of things, like Christianity does really well.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: A lot of love and devotion to God, a lot of worship to God.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: And that's just all I knew is worshiping God.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: But our our wisdom was very screwed up, very lacking.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: We we had very wrong conceptions of the divine being separate from us, and we have to earn it and we're worthy or not worthy and are sinful and stuff.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: We we didn't understand who God was at all or our relationship to God.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: So when I left Christianity, like that's what I was really longing for was somebody answer all these questions of like, if God is love, why does he send people to hell?
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: If God is love, why does he need this rapture event to happen where he annihilates all of the evildoers on the world?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Like all these kinds of questions.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: So when I went to Eastern religion, I found those answers and they were very satisfying through non-duality and all of that.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: So I spent like seven years really heavily in uh, especially Hinduism and Buddhism, and that did a ton of good.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: It was exactly what I needed, but I ended up tipping the scales a little bit too much to that side of just understanding non-duality and self-knowledge and stuff, but I didn't have any devotion or love or worship.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: I was totally lacking that.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: And that's when I, like I said, about 30 years old, 31, I had another revelation come in where I had been sort of crying out to the universe for a while, saying, Hey, I'm doing everything I know how to do, and I'm definitely suffering a lot less, but I still don't feel this bliss.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: I don't feel this happiness, this joy that is always spoken of in these scriptures.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: I just feel kind of like blank, neutral.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: And it's it still feels like a kind of suffering because I know that happiness is my nature.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: What am I missing?
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: And I didn't get answers for a while.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: So I just kept meditating and studying and stuff.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: And then eventually one day, in a very frustrated state, I was just really crying out to God about what am I missing?
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: Tell me.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: And it was like a voice dawned from inside of me and said, Aaron, did you forget that you used to love me?
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: I was like, Oh, yeah, I did forget that I used to love you.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: I've turned you into an intellectual pursuit.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: I turned you into a bunch of wisdom and knowledge to be gained and forgot that you are love.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: And loving you is the highest form of not knowing you.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And so then I started integrating worship back into my daily practice, like I grew up doing.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: And that that bhakti was what I was missing and just culminated with the all of the masculine I had gained.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: I finally added the feminine back into it, and that's when real freedom started to happen, I think.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: I am actually like incredibly fascinated by religion and just the sense of the way that people are in it, right?
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Like, I personally was raised Jewish, but I was never like I never fully bought into it, really.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: Like, I remember asking my mom when I was like young, like at synagogue, why do they tell us all these stories about God talking to people and like he doesn't talk to anybody now?
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Basically just being like, I don't think this is actually true.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: Not buying it.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I just never really did.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: And even like even now, my husband, he was raised more like conservative Jewish, and on the high holidays, he like takes it very seriously and he like fasts on Yom Kippur and everything, and he he's always been uncomfortable that I don't do it.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, my spirituality is my practice every single day.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't need one day out of the year to like show that I am like repenting or cleansing or whatever, like it just never resonated with me, and I just had to be really honest with that.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: But I also just find it really fascinating the way that organized religion is and the way that people just, you know, have these incredibly strong belief systems, you know, it just like really fascinates me.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: Where do you feel religion kind of goes wrong?
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: Like, especially in the the way you were describing with like the religions in the United States, too.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Where do you feel like it kind of goes wrong?
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: Because I know there's also really good things, like you were saying, you kind of grew up where it was like most of all of the lighter side of it and not so much of like the darker side of it.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: So where do you feel like the the problems come into play?
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: It's a good question.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: You know, on one hand, we could just say separation consciousness, really.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: But uh, you know, as time goes on, in almost any religion, you know, we have a realized being that appears on the scene at some point in history and teaches from their own state of realization.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And invariably their followers who aren't realized do their best to carry on the teachings.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: And over time, they just get more distorted as human ego gets more involved in the teachings, right?
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: And I think that really happened the worst in Christianity because Jesus was nothing but uh Buddha 2.0, right?
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Almost taught the identical same teachings as Buddha from 600 years before, but they weren't seen that way because he was talking to this Judaic world that only had the kind of Hebrew language available and only had this monolithic understanding of the divine available, that they couldn't understand what he meant when he said things like, I and the father are one.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: They always tried to stone him, right?
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: They think, oh, so you're the one making the sun move around the sky.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, heretic, let's stone this guy.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: It's like they didn't have the threshold they needed to understand that.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: So I think, you know, we have the Council of Nicaea in 365, where we clearly see how it was used as a control mechanism to gain power over the uh the pagans and and unite a greater kingdom and stuff.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: So things like that happened that screw it up more.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: But that was really my initial quest at 23 was is this idea that God sends people to a fiery torture dungeon if they don't confess Jesus, is that really in the Bible?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Did Jesus ever say that?
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: And I just obsessively studied the Bible to find these answers.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: And my total shock and surprise was no, this is not a concept that originates in the Bible.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: This is a concept that has been projected onto the Bible, especially onto Jesus.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: But I mean, Jesus never called himself a savior, never told anybody to confess him as Lord, never told anybody that he was going to die for their sins to be forgiven.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, he went around forgiving people's sins freely, like announcing to people their sins were forgiven well before he was crucified.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Could go on and on, but the the ultimate idea is man projects our version of God onto the divine and calls that truth and then holds everyone else to that standard.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: And you see all along the way, even from the Old Testament, that it's always been man's projection of the divine.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: It's our own ego we're projecting into the cosmos and saying, well, God must be like that.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: And that was my frustration with with Christians when I initially left, I was having these conversations all the time with friends and people on the internet and stuff.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: One of the examples was God's ways are higher than our ways.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: They always say that.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: If I try to push them into a corner and say, Is God love or not?
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: Of course, God's love.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, then why would God let anyone be tortured?
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Well, God's ways are higher than our ways.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, so like you're a you're a parent of a child.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Is there anything your child could do that would make you subject them to a fate like that?
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Never.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, then why does God do it?
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Well, his ways are higher than our ways.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: See, you see what you're doing there?
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: You're saying, like, I'm the one who's compassionate and loving.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: And if it was up to me, I would just forgive, you know, but God somehow, you know, is vengeful and wrathful, and that's somehow higher than love and compassion.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, no, no, that verse doesn't mean that our ways are love and forgiveness, and God's ways are vengeance and wrath.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: It's the opposite.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: It means our ways are vengeance and wrath, and God's way is mercy and compassion.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: And that's higher than vengeance and wrath.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: God's not holding anyone's trespasses against them, like Jesus said.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: We're the ones doing that and projecting it onto God.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: But because there's there's no understanding of projection either, it's like it's right in front of them, but they can't see it.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: So I ended up after a couple of years of trying to slug these things out with Christians, I just realized this isn't at their level of consciousness yet.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: I need to just abandon ship and go figure out what I believe about God.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 32:39SPEAKER_01: I completely agree.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: And I think it's like, first of all, just the separation in general and this idea that we're separate from God, but also that we have to like go through some kind of intermediary to connect with God.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I do think there's so much like inversion and also like what you were saying, lies about like what's actually true and what's not true.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: And I think more and more people are realizing it now, but I think religion was really just used as a way to like kind of scare people into controlling them, you know.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: And I mean, we're still seeing it happening today in other various ways other than religion.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: But it's it's just a really hard thing because there are really good things about it.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: And like I even struggle in my own life with it, with I don't necessarily feel compelled to a lot of like the teachings of Judaism, but I also have this strong feeling that I want my kids to know that they're Jewish and like do the certain traditions and like have that connection to their ancestry.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: So it's like a really interesting thing where I think we all kind of have to navigate because again, there are so many good things about it, but there's also the ways that it's kind of been like taken and used against us, like many other things.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: I know that you teach about enlightenment and everything, but what are some of the big understandings that you've come to and now like what you teach people?
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Hmm, where to begin?
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: I know that's like a big question.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, it's interesting to um when I look back at that experience I had, there was a couple of like in the contrast of experiencing it and then not having it, there's a couple of different ways that I sort of saw that state of consciousness.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: And one of them was this kind of understanding that it felt as if I had this really high degree of what I call spiritual intelligence for those two weeks.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: It was like I was just more spiritually intelligent almost, yeah.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: Where the nature of reality was so obvious that it's like I must be like a drooling moron to not see this all the time.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: Like, how could I possibly forget that everything is one?
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: That's like the basis of reality.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Am I an idiot or something?
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: So it felt like that.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: It felt like I had gotten more spiritually stupid or something.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: So I started asking that question of okay, clearly this is a kind of intelligence, what we call enlightenment.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: We could also kind of see it in that lens of it's it's a different kind of intelligence.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: We can just call it spiritual intelligence, but what does that mean to say you're spiritually intelligent?
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: And so for a few years, I was like, you know, what is this definition?
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: Well, I think probably self-awareness is the best definition for it.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: And I think that's a pretty good definition and it's pretty close.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: But what really feels more accurate, and the definition I kind of inevitably settled on, was that spiritual intelligence is one's capacity for self-awareness and integration, meaning that I like I can become aware of something, which is the masculine aspect, but take a long time to embody that awareness and live from that place and integrate it.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: And the integrating is the feminine, the embodying is the feminine.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: So you you need both to have true spiritual intelligence.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: They're each one piece of the pie, right?
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: And so you know, another way we could see it is um one's ability to comprehend reality, is what spiritual intelligence is.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: So it's not a linear kind of intelligence, it's very nonlinear, meaning it's not like A plus B equals C.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: It's, you know, oneness is nonlinear.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: It's like you either see it everywhere or you see it nowhere.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: So I started teaching a series last year called Spiritual Intelligence, where I just sort of go through and actually make uh what I call the SQ chart, much like an IQ chart, but I map it onto the seven energy centers.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: And I sort of teach it through this understanding that each of our seven energy centers is like a different level of spiritual intelligence that we access as we spiritually evolve.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: And really that begins at the heart level, uh, which I call the awakening level.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: And uh that's where the awareness of oneness starts to settle in to the mind.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm a huge fan of the law of one, the text the law of one, and I teach a lot about that because the law of one lays out the metaphysics really well in that consciousness is essentially a vibration that increases over time.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: And the more the vibration increases, they call it a density level.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: So they say there's seven density levels, which are like the seven chakras.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: And a density represents the level of vibration or the frequency of consciousness at that level.
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: So, for example, if I have one photon over here that's vibrating at a hundred times per second, and I have a photon over here that's vibrating a million times per second.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: Well, this photon has a lot more density of light than this photon does, right?
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: So the more light is available, the more information is available.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: And the more information is available, the more ability consciousness has to express itself, if that makes sense.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: So the law of one lays out this amazing model called the seven densities of consciousness that show the progressive evolution that consciousness moves through in the universe.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: And the first density correlates to the first chakra, the root chakra, and that's the density of like pure beingness.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: So consciousness spends like two billion years or something in the state of just the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, space.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: And those five elements interact for billions of years until you know planets harden, oceans form and stuff, and then eventually the microbial life can start evolving in the ocean, at least on our planet, and that represents the beginning of second density.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: Second density is the level of awareness and like growth and movement.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: So any organism that can interact with its environment is a second density life form.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: So anything from microbial life to plants, insects, animals, that whole spectrum represents second density.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: But then once a being becomes self-aware, which is when the mind kind of flips in on itself and becomes an object to itself and says, I am, I exist, that's the third density.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: And that's a state that humans reached about 75,000 years ago or something.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: And that's that's the density of separation consciousness.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: If I exist, it initially implies that I'm separate, because I'm a body over here, you're a body over there, so we're separate.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: So consciousness spends another, you know, 100,000, some odd years in that density level and all of the calamities of that, of separation consciousness evolve, war, genocide, tribalism, all that stuff.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: And after enough conflict and war with itself, consciousness starts to realize, okay, wait a minute.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: It's true that we're all like in separate bodies, yes, but we're all one essence.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: You know, we're all one energy, one universe knowing itself.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: And that's the beginning of the fourth density, the heart level.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: It's the density of love and understanding, love and oneness.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: So when the vibration of the photon increases enough, consciousness finally gains the ability to see oneness as the ultimate truth.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: And then harmony and unity evolves.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: So our planet is actually at that point right now.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: The law of one says the year 2012 was astrologically when the planet kind of shifted into the next density level, the fourth density.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: And so now our collective consciousness is working out all of the ego separation stuff and slowly coming, becoming aware that we're one.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: So it's like we're in this stage right now where planet Earth is doing its shadow work to heal and get rid of all the third density stuff so we can truly move into fourth density and become a planet of unity.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: And so it is a very exciting thing because in the future, when that is culminated, it'll be a heavenly planet to be on here.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: And it is now already, of course, but there's a lot of corruption and conflict and strife still on the planet as we're working through that stuff.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: And so uh it's an exciting time to be on the planet, to be an agent of change for that, because as you know, each one of us that expands our consciousness contributes to the collective in raising the collective consciousness.
- 40:56SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: Well, I have two questions.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: I hope I don't forget the second one.
- 41:01SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna write it down really quick.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: The first one is so I want to go back to what you said, like in the very beginning when you just started talking, was about the awareness and then the integration, right?
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: And I think that we're at a point, kind of like you were describing as we're moving into this fourth density, you know, this higher awareness.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: I think there's, in my opinion, and and you know, it's kind of up to opinion, but I feel like there's so many people on the planet who kind of are starting to come into this deeper awareness, this higher awareness, but they haven't integrated into their lives.
- 41:38SPEAKER_01: They're not living it.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: Whereas like people who are kind of leading the way, like you and I, we're more like living from that awareness and have it integrated.
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: And I feel like there are so many people, they get it, right?
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: Like if you explained it to them intellectually, they would be like, Oh, yeah, a hundred percent.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: I completely agree with you.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: You're absolutely right.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: But they're not living and making decisions and taking actions in their life based on that knowledge.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: What would you say, any like advice or insight you have on how we can move into that integration?
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I think we have to be willing to feel, firstly, the pain and the traumas and the things that are trapped inside of us because ego really likes to gain new shiny concepts and then be like, yeah, I'm so evolved because I understand oneness and stuff.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: But it's like that doesn't mean I've healed anything.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: I just understand a concept.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: And so we can't we can't be satisfied with that, right?
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: We have to want to embody oneness, and that means forgiveness, love, compassion, opening my heart, surrendering, trusting.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: Those are the feminine principles of integration that you you have to want it.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: It's like no one's gonna, no one can force you to heal.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: You have to want it badly enough.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: And that's the gift I think suffering brings us is that when we suffer enough, we get really serious about wanting to heal.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I'll do anything.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: Tell me what I gotta do.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: I gotta forgive that person, no problem.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: And that's why I think we're seeing more and more now that people are having these points of suffering or getting to those places where it's like, I can't deal with this anymore.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: I have to do something to change my life.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: And like, you know, I feel like that's why the universe will push us to having these like crises or like losing your job or whatever it is that happens, a car accident.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: Those are like, I feel like the biggest ones that happen to people is car accidents and losing jobs.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: And breakups.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, breakups.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: That's another one.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 43:37SPEAKER_01: Um, where it just kind of propels you into being like, okay, fuck it.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: I know this is gonna suck, but I realize that it's the only like the only way out is through.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: Cause you're right, I completely agree.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: And like the basis of my work is helping people actually feel their feelings and heal trauma.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: So, like, that is the part that cannot be skipped over because the embodiment piece will Not take place until we actually feel our feelings.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: Easier said than done.
- 44:06SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: And I think it's it's even harder because, you know, like I mentioned you before we started recording, I was a school counselor for 10 years.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: And one of the things that would that always blew my mind about schools and the education system is like there is nothing around emotions.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: And like now I know they have these like emotional curriculums, but they're not really anything because you can't have someone teach you about emotions that aren't embodying it themselves.
- 44:34SPEAKER_01: And like most of the people teaching it are not doing it themselves.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: So it doesn't really land.
- 44:39SPEAKER_01: And I observed that in my career, but we are human beings that are highly emotional.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: And nowhere in our lives do we get any kind of training or guidance on how to deal with our emotions.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: All we get is told to suppress them, don't show them.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: They're uncomfortable and inconvenient, and we can't deal with them.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: So then we grow up into adults with like all of these suppressed emotions.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: And then the idea of actually having to feel them is completely overwhelming and something that we're not willing to do unless we're forced into some kind of healing crisis.
- 45:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, not everybody, right?
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: Some people get it.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: But um, yeah, I completely agree with you.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: And then the other thing I wanted to ask too is you kind of touched on this, but I'd like to expand a little bit.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: So as we're kind of moving into this space where we're like doing this collective shadow clearing, how would you say that that relates to or represents like the chaos that we're seeing on the planet, right?
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: So, like as we know we're moving into these higher states of consciousness, how do you relate that to all of like what I call the clown show that we're seeing on the planet?
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a great term for it.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: It's like it's so funny.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: Like, I remember just to interject really quick, when I first started like seeing it like that, you know, and I always kind of knew for a really long time that it was like a show.
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: But when in 2016, when Trump got elected and they just kept coming out with all of these different things about like all of the horrible shit he said and all of the horrible shit he wanted to do.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: And I was thinking to myself, this is like not real.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: Like, and I'm not saying that it's not real in that sense, but I'm like, this is like so overly dramatic.
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, you know what I mean?
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: It's like almost like a bad joke, yeah.
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: And that's kind of how I I look at it now ever since then, as I'm just like, okay, here we go.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: If it's like McDonald's for the soul or something, it feels bad the moment swallow it.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: You know, I think that uh what's happening in our world right now is a phenomenal catalyst for spiritual growth because obviously, you know, you know this, everything that manifests collectively is just showing us what's inside of us collectively.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: So it as many injustices and as much corruption as there is going on out there, it does no good to just point the finger at it and say, evil, bad, bad people, corruption.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Because I'm not taking responsibility for that in myself.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: And so I think the best thing any of us can do in these tumultuous times we're in is watch what's happening in the world and watch your reaction to it, right?
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: And if if any part of you is feeling like a victim to it or is judging it harshly and angrily and getting really enraged about the injustices, then you know for sure that part of those energies are still in you.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: Meaning, if I get really upset at how greedy the elites are who are trying to dominate the world, if I just hate them because they're so greedy, well, there must be a greedy tyrant somewhere in me, right?
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: Because this is just the nature of healing, is that when I truly face my demons, face my shadows, and I heal them with love and forgiveness, then I lose the ability to judge others because I recognize I was there once.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: I thought the same things, I wanted the same things.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: So there's no ability to judge, there's just compassion.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: There's still a desire to find healing, of course, but there's no judgment of like anger.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: So if I'm really angry, it's because I haven't faced the greedy tyrant in me.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: Like, how do I know that if I hadn't grown up in a wealthy, elite oligarch family and possess tons of wealth, that I might not be a corrupt leader like them?
- 48:23SPEAKER_00: And all my friends are wealthy billionaires too.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: Like, for sure that could have happened, right?
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: So maybe I should have forgiveness for those people and instead of seeing them as my enemies, just see them as fellow divine beings who don't know who they are and they're in need of healing.
- 48:37SPEAKER_00: And that's a much more peaceful awareness to have about the world.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: So it's like if I want a peaceful world, I have to give peace to the world in my mind.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: I can't be giving angry, hostile thoughts to the world and want it to be peaceful is a total contradiction, right?
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: But that's that's the sneaky part of projection, is that it's it really seems like it's outside of me, but it isn't, right?
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: If it triggers you, it's in you.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: And I think the media and the overlords do a really great job of helping us to just project our issues, or like manipulating us to project our issues instead of actually dealing with them.
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: And like the same thing what you were saying just applies to, you know, how they've had us so divided with like Republicans and Democrats, like it's almost like people have this, these blinders on where it's like if certain issues come up, if someone doesn't agree with you, it's like you can't even see it.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: You can't even see their humanity.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: And it's it's wild to me because similar to what you said about like, okay, well, if you grew up in a family that doesn't agree with abortion or whatever, then you wouldn't either.
- 49:45SPEAKER_01: Like you can't, it's just crazy to me because I feel like everyone's kind of issues are so now projected outward that it's so hard to bring, and not that it can't be done, but it's just it gets harder and harder to kind of bring it back to and making that connection to the fact that it's actually something inside of you.
- 50:08SPEAKER_01: And the more that you give your consciousness to that, the more you're like feeding that narrative and feeding that story versus actually doing the work to change things.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're totally right.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: The I think the the people who run the machine are very well versed in this stuff.
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: They understand the psychology extremely well and use it to their advantage.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: And that's really what the negative path is it's the positive path is the path of harmony and unity.
- 50:36SPEAKER_00: The negative path is the path of separation and deceit.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: So everything the negative path does is through deceit and manipulation.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: So they they know how to play on your weaknesses, right?
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: And fear and division are the number one weaknesses they play on.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: How many ways have they divided humanity from itself?
- 50:53SPEAKER_00: Like you said, a Republican, Democrat, pro-life, pro-choice, pro-vax, anti-vax, pro-trans, anti-trans.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: On and on and on and on and on and on and on.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: It's like, what's your label?
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: Where do you stand?
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: And as soon as we label somebody, we don't see them anymore, and they just become an enemy.
- 51:08SPEAKER_00: And it's brilliant on their part.
- 51:10SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: Just flood the news with lots and lots of fear and division, and we will just have the population under our thumb.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: And we see the evidence of that in the economy and in the way that the world dynamics are playing out.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: It's like when less than a percent of the population owns 99% of the wealth, that is a major sickness on the planet to the to the magnitude of we can't even comprehend it.
- 51:33SPEAKER_00: We don't have the bandwidth to understand how sick our planet is because of the many of the things, but the wealth gap is like one of the biggest indications of like there's a cancer on this planet.
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: We've got to figure out how to heal it.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: And it has to begin with love and unity.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: We have to stop seeing labels, stop seeing for and against.
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: And we have to just see that you are a human being, which means you are divine, which means you have value in and of itself, which means it doesn't matter what you believe or if we disagree.
- 52:02SPEAKER_00: I see the value you have inherently and I love you because you are one with me.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: Like if that's not the basis we relate to each other with, we'll always be controlled by the negative path.
- 52:12SPEAKER_00: So we're we're waking up to that slowly but surely.
- 52:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a hundred percent.
- 52:16SPEAKER_01: And also, like just to add to that, that has to start from within.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: Like, in order to be able to love people outside of you and see things like that, you have to be able to look at yourself and do the inner work and really start to like face your shadows and actually embrace yourself so that you can embrace other people.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: So I'd love to hear any of your like, you know, quick little things or ideas or things that you can offer up as far as like how we kind of move from you know, the state of division or the negative path into like stepping into enlightenment.
- 52:59SPEAKER_01: Like, what are some of the ways we can bridge the gap?
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: Are you familiar with The Course in Miracles?
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: Yes, awesome.
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: Yes, have been for a long time.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: I think ACIM really has the recipe because ACIM's basic teaching is that the path to heaven is forgiveness, the path to peace is forgiveness, because forgiveness is that which mends the brokenness, the division within us, and brings us back into wholeness and oneness again.
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: So forgiveness has been uh one of the greatest blessings of my life because it allows me to see the you know, the tyrants and the oligarchs of the world who I used to just judge and know for sure that though that's my enemy.
- 53:37SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden I realize, oh, I'm judging a part of myself that I'm not loving, projecting it onto you.
- 53:42SPEAKER_00: And it like it doesn't mean that that soul is not doing those things in the world.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: It means that if I if I hate them or judge them for it, it means there's a part of me that's capable of doing that that I haven't faced and acknowledged, right?
- 53:55SPEAKER_00: So forgiveness illuminates those parts of me.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: And really, forgiveness is so misunderstood in our society, in our world, because it's seen as I'm gonna make your error real, and then I'm gonna overlook your error and just somehow accept it.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: You know, I I forgive you.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: Like that's not what it is.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: It's as the Course of Miracles says, it is really knowing who you are.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: And so, like a great one great example is there's a funny passage that says, salvation is a paradox indeed, for it asks that you forgive what no one ever did.
- 54:29SPEAKER_00: What it's saying is nobody can harm what I am.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: The Course calls it the Son of God or the Christ.
- 54:35SPEAKER_00: No one can harm the Christ in me, like my true essence is eternal and infinite.
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: And if I know myself as that eternal essence, then nothing that happens in this dream world can hurt me any longer.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: Only if I believe that I'm a body, a person, a finite separate self that can be attacked and damaged by a mere word can hurt someone these days, right?
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: If I believe that that's who I am, then I have to feel like I'm a victim to everything.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: So forgiveness takes you out of this victimization role or belief system and says, no, nothing can hurt me except my own thoughts.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: Nothing can hurt me unless I believe it to be true about myself.
- 55:12SPEAKER_00: And so from that point of view, it's this, it's this very empowering realization of who you are and understanding that whatever somebody does is a pure reflection of their state of consciousness, not me.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: So for me to ever take something personally that somebody did to me, in quotes, is to lower my self-perception to such a pathetic level that, again, I'm just some fragile, delicate thing that you can damage.
- 55:36SPEAKER_00: A mere word could damage me.
- 55:38SPEAKER_00: And so forgiveness says, no, I'm not that fragile, delicate thing.
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: I am the empowered, eternal son of God.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: I cannot be harmed.
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: And so, therefore, from that basis of who I am, I forgive you.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: I don't hold your trespasses against you.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: It's an enormous act of power.
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: And when you start practicing it, you feel that power.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: You feel that invulnerability that I have nothing to defend, I have nothing to protect, I'm already free, I'm already perfect as I am.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: I love myself.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: So I forgive everybody.
- 56:06SPEAKER_00: I forgive the whole world.
- 56:08SPEAKER_00: And I obviously that's the best medicine that the world could swallow right now.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, 100%.
- 56:13SPEAKER_01: I love that you share that because I actually do in my course, The Metamorphosis, I do a process with everyone where they have to write 70 times for seven days.
- 56:25SPEAKER_01: I forgive myself completely.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: And it's so incredibly powerful.
- 56:29SPEAKER_01: Like around, I think it's like week five or six that they do that.
- 56:32SPEAKER_01: And it's always like such a pivotal, transformational week.
- 56:37SPEAKER_01: And it's such a powerful process.
- 56:39SPEAKER_01: And I always say to one everyone, like, I know it's a lot of writing, but something really happens when you do that.
- 56:48SPEAKER_01: It's so incredibly powerful.
- 56:49SPEAKER_00: So yeah, big time.
- 56:50SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: So um, I know we could probably keep talking about this all day, but I know we're coming up on time here.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: So, would you be able to share with everyone um how they can connect with you and where they can find you and if you have anything exciting going on right now?
- 57:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I actually do.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: I have been selling all my courses like individually for a couple of years now, but um, I just decided I wanted to move everything under kind of one umbrella for a much more affordable price tag and just make it available to anybody who wants it.
- 57:18SPEAKER_00: And so I started putting my courses together in a curriculum kind of format.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: And um, the platform is called 4D University, obviously fourth density, right?
- 57:27SPEAKER_00: And so it's really just kind of an online academy for training and teaching, the expansion of consciousness, a lot of the stuff we've talked about today.
- 57:34SPEAKER_00: So my website, Aaron Abke.com, will have that.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: Um, if you want to watch any of my actual content, then you can go to my YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash Aaron Abke, and you know, the Law of One, A Course of Miracles, all the stuff I teach is on there.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 57:49SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: Um, and that sounds awesome about your membership.
- 57:53SPEAKER_01: So I'm sure everyone will want to check that out and we'll link all of that below.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: And then for our final question for you what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 58:06SPEAKER_00: I like the non-negotiable part.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: Uh, that's an easy answer, actually.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: My non-negotiable every day is my meditation practice.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely the most important thing I do.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: I will not let a day go by without it because uh it's not just meditation, but I do some breath work and stuff.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: But it's like my time to get into myself and experience myself on a deeper level.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: You know, meditation is just where I plunge into the depths of God and I don't want to go a day without it.
- 58:33SPEAKER_00: So even when I'm not in my meditation practice, like sitting on my meditation cushion, stillness is my as often as I can, all day, every day, I'm just looking to be aware of stillness more, integrate stillness more.
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: How can I be more silent within while I'm doing this thing, while I'm on this interview, you know, whatever it is.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: And that's really what true meditation is is carrying that state out of your meditation practice into your daily life.
- 59:01SPEAKER_00: But uh it has to start somewhere, right?
- 59:02SPEAKER_00: And I think having a solid meditation practice is one of the best things you could do for your spiritual growth.
- 59:08SPEAKER_01: I a hundred percent agree.
- 59:10SPEAKER_01: I think I've gone down different roads with it over the years, but have always had some kind of meditation practice.
- 59:17SPEAKER_01: So I a hundred percent agree with you.
- 59:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's really how we cultivate self-awareness and actually sit with ourselves and see what's actually going on.
- 59:26SPEAKER_01: So it's so needed.
- 59:28SPEAKER_01: So thank you so much for being here.
- 59:30SPEAKER_01: This was such an awesome and enlightening conversation, and we'll all look forward to connecting with you soon.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Elise.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: It was a blast.
