1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - Forever With the Lord
Today,in verses 15 through 18, Paul gives us more details about what will happen whenJesus comes again.
Paulbegins in verse 15: “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord.” Ilove that expression. Paul wants them to understand that what he is about totell them isn't speculation. It isn't Paul's personal theory about the future. Hesays it is “by the word of the Lord.” Then Paul says: “That we whoare alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precedethose who are asleep.”
