- 1:39Speaker 1: let's hear a synopsis. Heidi Heidelberg receives the dream opportunity
- 1:45Speaker 1: to sell her beautiful handmade glass ornaments at the prestigious
- 1:50Speaker 1: Heidelberg Christmas Market in Germany. While there, she meets Lucas,
- 1:55Speaker 1: a local artisan who doesn't want to be called an artist,
- 1:59Speaker 1: who helps her reconnect to her lost heritage. I ad
- 2:04Speaker 1: libdi doesn't want to be called an artist. Did you
- 2:07Speaker 1: catch it? No? He did it. It was such a smooth read.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He was a smooth read. And I actually thought about that,
- 2:14Speaker 1: because that's right. He was very reluctant too. Yeah, claim
- 2:19Speaker 1: that artist's role. Okay, the dude me furniture. I think
- 2:22Speaker 1: there's art in that absolutely Yes, it was beautiful even
- 2:27Speaker 1: without all his carvings. This was written and directed by
- 2:30Speaker 1: McLean Nelson. His resume is pretty short, with less than
- 2:33Speaker 1: ten writing credits. His previous Hallmark titles include A Nashville
- 2:37Speaker 1: Legacy and hashtag x mis Megan just cocked her head. Well,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I draw Botken wrote that, so they must have co
- 2:45Speaker 1: written that. As for directing, Nelson has fifteen directing credits,
- 2:49Speaker 1: including Do Do Do Doo, last year's haul Out, The Holly,
- 2:53Speaker 1: Hidden Gems, Presence of Love, as well as a few others.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Upcoming for the director is the highly anticipated haul Out
- 3:00Speaker 1: the Holly two lit Up lit Up. I just think
- 3:04Speaker 1: that's so funny. Gina Claire Mason stars as Heidi. This
- 3:09Speaker 1: is her second movie for Hallmark. She starred in last
- 3:12Speaker 1: year's A Holiday Spectacular. If you don't know Gena Claire Mason,
- 3:17Speaker 1: she's an accomplished stage actor. She was Glinda and Wicked
- 3:22Speaker 1: on Broadway. Frederick Brossier plays Lucas. He's a Germany based
- 3:27Speaker 1: actor with mostly German projects. Listen, I put these notes
- 3:30Speaker 1: together and I saw the name of his projects, but
- 3:33Speaker 1: they were all in German. I'm like, look, I'm not
- 3:35Speaker 1: going to even attempt to try to see them. No,
- 3:37Speaker 1: we're good. Okay, we got a cameo in this movie.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Did you see it? I'm gonna tell you that I
- 3:45Speaker 1: knew there was a cameo in this movie, and I
- 3:47Speaker 1: didn't see it, and I watched this very carefully, but
- 3:50Speaker 1: perhaps glanced away to write a note down. All right.
- 3:53Speaker 1: McLain nelson shared on his Instagram that the giving of
- 3:57Speaker 1: the oh Boy, the dudentin kus really pronounced how it's
- 4:01Speaker 1: written almost right. It's twut is a real German tradition
- 4:05Speaker 1: dating back to eighteen sixty three, and when he learned
- 4:07Speaker 1: about it, he's like, oh, yes, I am definitely putting
- 4:09Speaker 1: this in the movie. It's nice, it's cute. This was
- 4:12Speaker 1: filmed mostly in Heidelberg, Germany, as well as the Heidelberg Castle.
- 4:17Speaker 1: These scenes are filmed in Serbia. Some scenes were filmed
- 4:20Speaker 1: in Serbia. That's the different from a few. No, I
- 4:24Speaker 1: didn't hear you say a few like This was filmed
- 4:26Speaker 1: in December twenty twenty two and took forty nine days
- 4:31Speaker 1: to film and wrapped up January thirty one, twenty twenty three.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Now I have a little news and notes here. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 1: Gina Clare Mason and her husband welcomed a baby girl
- 4:40Speaker 1: in April twenty twenty three. Girl Matt tells me she
- 4:42Speaker 1: was pregnant while filming. Indeed, she must have been. That's
- 4:46Speaker 1: how that works. Yeah, and if you go back and watch,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you can see like she's in coats, a lot of coats,
- 4:52Speaker 1: scarfs that hang in front. Yeah. Well, I wonder if
- 4:56Speaker 1: filming took so long because they took some time off
- 4:58Speaker 1: for the holidays. Oh maybe yeah, uh yeah, because you're
- 5:01Speaker 1: not gonna work through Christmas, right. I wonder how many
- 5:03Speaker 1: days they got off. I don't know. Glass ornament artists
- 5:06Speaker 1: Lindsay Designs shared on her Instagram that she was chosen
- 5:09Speaker 1: by Hallmark to create the ornaments you can see in
- 5:11Speaker 1: the movie You know side note here Lindsey Designs sure
- 5:15Speaker 1: sounds a lot like Keith costumes. It does. That's all
- 5:18Speaker 1: one of our faves. First impression time you're gonna go first? Okay, well,
- 5:23Speaker 1: I want to say that. I posted about this on
- 5:25Speaker 1: our Instagram about what I'm gonna say next, and Wendy
- 5:28Speaker 1: was like, no, So my first impression is I needed
- 5:32Speaker 1: a waterproof mascare warning for this one. What did you
- 5:34Speaker 1: cry at Oh, we're gonna get into it. My first
- 5:37Speaker 1: impression is not what you think it's going to be.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It is I'm here for these cozy family Christmas vibes.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Look at you. I didn't hate it. I just wasn't
- 5:48Speaker 1: crying watching it. Oh my goodness, Well let's talk what
- 5:51Speaker 1: we like. Okay, since we're there, let's here's what I
- 5:55Speaker 1: thought was beautiful about this movie. There was no wasted space.
- 5:58Speaker 1: They bill this beautiful story. So when she's talking about
- 6:04Speaker 1: her family's Christmas traditions, it's not a conversation that dies there.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It continues. They do her family's Christmas traditions. They honor
- 6:12Speaker 1: her family's Christmas traditions, yes, while also involving her in
- 6:16Speaker 1: their own families. They did enjoy all of that. Even
- 6:20Speaker 1: the boys talk about their love of legos in a
- 6:22Speaker 1: very casual way That comes into play later in the
- 6:24Speaker 1: movie where they're making their mosaic art. Nothing smaller than
- 6:27Speaker 1: a lego. Just there were none of these throwaway moments.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And what made the moment that made me cry the
- 6:33Speaker 1: final thirty forty minutes of the movie. Here's what happens
- 6:36Speaker 1: when they bring the tree into the house, yes, to
- 6:39Speaker 1: decorate because their tradition is to decorate on Christmas Eve
- 6:42Speaker 1: and hers is to have it up early, and so
- 6:44Speaker 1: they compromise. What a lovely moment that made me a
- 6:46Speaker 1: little weepy. That started it. Okay, do you want to
- 6:49Speaker 1: say something? And I got thoughts, I got thoughts. Oka ahead.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then shortly thereafter her ornaments arrive and they're in ruins,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and you see I could feel her panic, the oh no,
- 6:59Speaker 1: like there's what am I going to do? And then
- 7:02Speaker 1: you hear her sobbing while Lucas is inside her shop.
- 7:05Speaker 1: That was a moment and the family is out there
- 7:08Speaker 1: digging through it, and she's devastated. I'm already weepy about
- 7:13Speaker 1: the tree now we and you knew, I mean, you
- 7:16Speaker 1: knew something terrible was gonna happen. Of course you knew
- 7:18Speaker 1: it was coming. So watching it come to fruition, and
- 7:21Speaker 1: something about the juxtaposition of the goofy German postal worker
- 7:25Speaker 1: with this tragic moment really really did it for me.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Then she and Lucas have this moment and she doesn't
- 7:33Speaker 1: deny her feelings for him, but she's so overwhelmed by
- 7:36Speaker 1: the disappointment that she can't even think about her feelings
- 7:38Speaker 1: for Lucas, She's like, this is my life, this is
- 7:40Speaker 1: all this work. I'm going to disappoint all of these people.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I came here for nothing. That moment was very touching
- 7:47Speaker 1: to me. And then she sits down and she has
- 7:49Speaker 1: her realization about how she can turn lemons into lemonade.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I did not hate that solution, okay. And then they
- 7:58Speaker 1: all work together to make their beautiful mosaics. Did you
- 8:02Speaker 1: really think they were better than the or No, it's
- 8:05Speaker 1: not better than the ornaments, but a very natural marrying
- 8:10Speaker 1: of her talent with Lucas's Wendy's shaking her head. And
- 8:14Speaker 1: then two final moments that really bring it home for me.
- 8:18Speaker 1: The woman who was buying the ornaments for her father,
- 8:20Speaker 1: uh huh, and she gives her the display set as
- 8:23Speaker 1: she carry on, I go, oh, she's gonna give her
- 8:25Speaker 1: the ornaments, and West Wing fans will know that this
- 8:28Speaker 1: gave me a really he gave him the knife moment,
- 8:31Speaker 1: which is a Thanksgiving episode, so the timing could not
- 8:35Speaker 1: be more perfect. I need to give you the backstory here.
- 8:38Speaker 1: There's an episode in which President Bartlett has his body man,
- 8:41Speaker 1: which is basically like his personal assistant Charlie, who becomes
- 8:44Speaker 1: like a son to him. He has him searching for
- 8:48Speaker 1: the best carving knife, and he keeps bringing him carving knives.
- 8:51Speaker 1: He's like, this won't do. This, won't do. This, won't do.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And there's finally a moment where he goes, I don't understand, sir,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I thought you would have had a carving knife, and
- 9:01Speaker 1: he goes, I do, and he takes it out and
- 9:03Speaker 1: it's just like this beautiful knife with his history. I'm
- 9:05Speaker 1: getting chills talking about it. And he's like, it's a
- 9:07Speaker 1: knife that's meant to be passed from a father to
- 9:09Speaker 1: a son. And he gives Charlie the knife, and that's
- 9:13Speaker 1: a very anybody who's watched West Wing, No, he gave
- 9:15Speaker 1: him the knife. Megan's getting ready to cry, you guys am,
- 9:19Speaker 1: And then I've all worked up and then Ohma arrives
- 9:24Speaker 1: and that really would have been the moment that just
- 9:26Speaker 1: that would be it. I've had a really bad couple
- 9:31Speaker 1: of days. And then my beloved grandmother shows up. Yeah
- 9:35Speaker 1: that was nice. Look, I'm not eating on this movie.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I like this movie, but let me say, let me
- 9:41Speaker 1: just back it up here. Okay, when we reviewed Christmas Island, Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: you said, I connected to the story of Kate right, which, admittedly, yes,
- 9:55Speaker 1: that's why I like that movie so much. Yes, I
- 9:57Speaker 1: think there's a little piece of you that's connecting to
- 10:00Speaker 1: this movie, of the story of marrying the two traditions together.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Look at you because I think maybe your traditions are
- 10:13Speaker 1: not always respected. And let me break it down, not
- 10:17Speaker 1: by my husband, correct, there are outside forces. My husband
- 10:21Speaker 1: and I have a harmonious holiday situation in our family.
- 10:26Speaker 1: So yes, I think that's a very insightful way of
- 10:29Speaker 1: looking at it that I did not consider. Thank you,
- 10:32Speaker 1: You're welcome. And let me be very clear. You liked
- 10:36Speaker 1: Christmas Island more than I did. I liked this movie.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm not mad that you didn't love this movie or
- 10:42Speaker 1: connected the same way. I didn't hate the movies. I
- 10:44Speaker 1: needed it. Okay, I hated it. I have a whole
- 10:46Speaker 1: list of things that I I just have you with
- 10:48Speaker 1: mascara running down your face. I phoned in your ears,
- 10:51Speaker 1: staring at your computer while your family's orbiting around you
- 10:55Speaker 1: doing their evening things. No, you didn't watch just with
- 10:58Speaker 1: your husband either. No, my husband doesn't the European movies.
- 11:01Speaker 1: What and I told him, I said, I think this
- 11:04Speaker 1: is a really classically Hallmark movie that just happens to
- 11:07Speaker 1: be set. He doesn't do the Royal movies either, I
- 11:10Speaker 1: hate real and I think they give him that same vibe.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So like he's not going to watch a Christmas in Vienna.
- 11:16Speaker 1: He just, I don't know, just not into it. I
- 11:19Speaker 1: think he would have liked this movie. I think he
- 11:20Speaker 1: would have loved it. I think so too. Okay, let
- 11:22Speaker 1: me tell you what I liked about it, please, I agree.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It was a sweet story, and I really enjoyed learning
- 11:28Speaker 1: about like German holiday traditions. I think it's really cool
- 11:32Speaker 1: when Hallmark can kind of like expose people to things
- 11:36Speaker 1: happening in different parts of the world. Yeah, without like
- 11:39Speaker 1: hating us over the head with it in a real natural,
- 11:41Speaker 1: organic way. Absolutely, the most heartwarming scenes to me were
- 11:45Speaker 1: the ones when the whole with the whole family and
- 11:47Speaker 1: they're sharing the joy of the season and telling stories.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And I loved that. I like you. I loved the
- 11:56Speaker 1: mix of traditions. I thought that was very sweet, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: I really loved I've never heard of doing like a
- 12:03Speaker 1: Christmas wish where you put it in your at the
- 12:05Speaker 1: end of you're stalking, Like, that's so sweet, just as
- 12:08Speaker 1: like a good idea too. It wasn't like I wish
- 12:11Speaker 1: to get a million presents this year. It was like
- 12:14Speaker 1: something deeper than that. Yeah, I just I thought that
- 12:16Speaker 1: was really nice. Now. I also thought that this scenery
- 12:20Speaker 1: was gorgeous. And I know we've talked in previous movies
- 12:24Speaker 1: where like the scenery like is a third character. Almost. Yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: this wasn't like that. For me. It was nice as
- 12:32Speaker 1: a person who has been to Germany but not to Heidelberg.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I want to go to the Christmas market. I have
- 12:39Speaker 1: a question about the Christmas markets. I thought it was
- 12:41Speaker 1: bigger than that. When they were doing the overhead shots,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I was like, wait a minute, is this an actual, true,
- 12:46Speaker 1: true Heidelberg Christmas Market because it looked kind of small
- 12:50Speaker 1: that I don't know, I don't know. I know there's
- 12:55Speaker 1: a ton of them, like different places have them. A
- 12:57Speaker 1: friend of mine went last year specifically for that, and
- 13:00Speaker 1: they spent Christmas in Europe and they did Germany and Austria,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and don't I think they're huge. I know we have
- 13:08Speaker 1: a listener in our Facebook group who said that she
- 13:10Speaker 1: had lived there in Heidelberg. I'm going to follow up
- 13:16Speaker 1: because I'm curious to see like how big the markets are, Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: the scope of it. Can I just say what? We
- 13:23Speaker 1: got two bells nickels? Two bells nickles? We did on
- 13:26Speaker 1: a weekend. And I know, like the recording of these
- 13:28Speaker 1: and the published dates are a little wonky, but like
- 13:31Speaker 1: two I never even heard of this. Neither had I
- 13:34Speaker 1: German folklore ever did. I also not know there's the
- 13:37Speaker 1: difference between Satannik and Santa. Nope, I thought that they
- 13:40Speaker 1: were the same person too, no idea of no freaking idea,
- 13:43Speaker 1: forty eight years old. I just thought it was like
- 13:45Speaker 1: a different name me too. I didn't know there was
- 13:47Speaker 1: like a different dude. That dude I'm saying, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 1: sure that comes and fills your boots? Yeah, no idea.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Gina Marie singing, Oh, I mean I'm so glad, Like
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm so glad we get that talent of hers in
- 14:04Speaker 1: a movie that seemed very natural. It wasn't just like
- 14:07Speaker 1: she was like, well, I don't know, she didn't really
- 14:10Speaker 1: like show that she had any singing experience, right, Like
- 14:14Speaker 1: it was never talked about. She just got up and
- 14:15Speaker 1: like saying, it was a really nice scene because it
- 14:18Speaker 1: wasn't just like her singing the entire time where I
- 14:20Speaker 1: would have got like second hand embarrassment. It was like
- 14:23Speaker 1: interspersed with like satanik and belle' snickele handing out.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I liked that. I think it was nice to have
- 14:30Speaker 1: a It was an organic moment to utilize her talents,
- 14:33Speaker 1: to have her singing this carol during that holiday event. Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 1: And this is what I mean about there's no wasted space.
- 14:41Speaker 1: We've had a lot of movies where there's some sort
- 14:44Speaker 1: of like nonprofit event happening and it's always handled badly
- 14:48Speaker 1: with like people who don't really have a whole lot
- 14:50Speaker 1: of knowledge of how these things run. Yeah, and when
- 14:55Speaker 1: they're like, oh, we'd like to be able to give
- 14:56Speaker 1: them all a gift and they're like, well, we don't
- 14:58Speaker 1: have the budget for that. I have a solution, and
- 15:00Speaker 1: I thought it's not going to pan out. And they
- 15:02Speaker 1: did the absolute most logical thing by going to the
- 15:05Speaker 1: Christmas market and asking for those donations, and I was like,
- 15:08Speaker 1: that's actually perfect. Yeah, the gifts they're going to get
- 15:12Speaker 1: are these beautiful, handmade, lovely things, and that is how
- 15:16Speaker 1: you get things by going and asking people for them.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And she had made these connections at the market and
- 15:22Speaker 1: then it paid off. I really liked that. Yeah, I
- 15:25Speaker 1: liked it too. And finally, I really enjoyed that the
- 15:31Speaker 1: romance between Lucas and Heidi developed early, and there was
- 15:37Speaker 1: like early kisses, and it wasn't just like this whole
- 15:39Speaker 1: thing leading to the end. We had to see the
- 15:41Speaker 1: whole development, because I think calling for each other, it's
- 15:44Speaker 1: like a natural progression. It's not just like this, we
- 15:47Speaker 1: like each other. I love you, kiss I love that,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and he held her hand at one point they're on
- 15:51Speaker 1: the bridge, and I really thought their romance was very sweet,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and we had some silliness with the like him helping
- 15:59Speaker 1: her up the hill, but there wasn't manufactured conflict keeping
- 16:03Speaker 1: them apart, right, they just developed very natural. Do you
- 16:05Speaker 1: have anything you wished for? I do a few, So
- 16:08Speaker 1: I only wrote one thing down, and it's that I
- 16:11Speaker 1: spent a long time wishing that we saw the inside
- 16:13Speaker 1: of her cute cottage, and then we finally do. So
- 16:15Speaker 1: they're no wish. She just like keeps going to the
- 16:18Speaker 1: door and going inside, and I was like, are we
- 16:21Speaker 1: ever going to see it? And though we do so,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I have no isshes. Okay. I thought the pace was
- 16:25Speaker 1: kind of slow, just the whole and I know it's
- 16:30Speaker 1: not even hijiinks, but like going to the post office
- 16:33Speaker 1: and going to the post office and going to the
- 16:35Speaker 1: post office and then keep getting turned away, Like I
- 16:37Speaker 1: was just like, Okay, we get it. These are going
- 16:39Speaker 1: to be like these are loss somewhere. I think maybe
- 16:45Speaker 1: she should have tried to work on a resolution before
- 16:49Speaker 1: she was forced to work on a resolution. Well, I agree,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but she kind of discussed it like maybe I need
- 16:55Speaker 1: to find a last going shop. But then she's like,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I wouldn't have time. Yeah, I know, I think her
- 16:59Speaker 1: hands when she's packing those things up. I thought this
- 17:02Speaker 1: is a disaster. I would never trust. Like she's like
- 17:06Speaker 1: not trying to save money. I'm like, no, lady, you
- 17:09Speaker 1: gotta get these things there next week. Well, and maybe
- 17:12Speaker 1: they don't get packed in cardboard boxes. Maybe you need
- 17:15Speaker 1: like reusable hard sighted shipping cases, something for your glass ornaments, something,
- 17:22Speaker 1: because this feels like an accident waiting to happen. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: is it on her for her haphazard I mean she
- 17:28Speaker 1: put it in there with foam peanuts. Aren't the ornament's
- 17:32Speaker 1: going to sync to the body. They needed some sort
- 17:34Speaker 1: of structure in there. I don't mean a victim blame,
- 17:36Speaker 1: but yeah, I know. Finally, speaking of resolution, I thought
- 17:41Speaker 1: the resolution happened so quickly and it felt a little unbelievable.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You're gonna put your crushed up ornaments on like his
- 17:49Speaker 1: beautiful handcarved orc Do you wish she had at least
- 17:54Speaker 1: asked him for permission to do that. I just think
- 17:57Speaker 1: she should have come up with a different idea to
- 18:00Speaker 1: sell I just like I wasn't particularly drawn to that
- 18:09Speaker 1: sort of artistry. Okay, I thought his his hand carved
- 18:16Speaker 1: work was beautiful. I liked her ornaments so but I
- 18:20Speaker 1: didn't see how they worked together. That's all. Okay, Okay,
- 18:24Speaker 1: did you see that? I got a few me too?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Go ahead. When Heidi tells her dad that there are
- 18:32Speaker 1: still a few hours left on Thanksgiving Day and his
- 18:35Speaker 1: response is, but my countdown to Christmas started at the
- 18:38Speaker 1: end of October, I laughed out loud, loved it. And
- 18:42Speaker 1: speaking of Hallmark call outs, there is a Hallmark Gold
- 18:46Speaker 1: Crown store right back to the shipping store that she
- 18:48Speaker 1: goes to. Yep, yep, there's a baby in this movie.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Have we ever seen a Hallmark movie with a baby?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Like a Wiseman and a baby, uh uh, like a
- 19:02Speaker 1: toddler baby that's like, oh, the sweet little girl. It
- 19:06Speaker 1: was her niece, and she's stacking the stuff on the table,
- 19:09Speaker 1: her little passfire in her mouth, and then she's sitting
- 19:11Speaker 1: at the dinner table, and I thought, there's there's a baby,
- 19:14Speaker 1: like three wise men and a baby, and then there's
- 19:16Speaker 1: children that can be taught to act, and then you
- 19:18Speaker 1: got a wild card of a toddler who knows what
- 19:21Speaker 1: she's gonna do. And I thought it was very an
- 19:23Speaker 1: interesting choice because that's a hard thing to act around.
- 19:26Speaker 1: That's got to be somebody's kid, right, That's what I
- 19:28Speaker 1: thought it's got to be, especially because she's like got
- 19:32Speaker 1: the pacifier in her mouth. It felt very like this
- 19:35Speaker 1: is someone's baby. Mm hmmm. I thought she was so cute,
- 19:38Speaker 1: real cute. When she was like stacking those toys on
- 19:40Speaker 1: the table. I was like, oh, look at that beautiful
- 19:42Speaker 1: Christmas decor right next to it that this toddler's not touching. Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Alma's map was something out of a professional beautiful. She's like, here,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I made this map for you, and I rolled it
- 19:56Speaker 1: up in a scroll like come on, I know, but
- 19:59Speaker 1: I wrote it down. I actually loved her beautiful list.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I mean, what's the other option she's got, like a
- 20:03Speaker 1: grocery list that she hands over to her, because that's realistic.
- 20:08Speaker 1: When they bring the Christmas tree out, I loved. I
- 20:12Speaker 1: love this scene too. There was one string of lights
- 20:15Speaker 1: on the tree, just one. Can you hear me? See?
- 20:19Speaker 1: I can? Every time I move it squeaks. We need
- 20:21Speaker 1: to talk about the cameo. Yes, Jonathan Bennett and his
- 20:25Speaker 1: husband James Vaughan appear in the market scene. She's HEIGHTI
- 20:30Speaker 1: is at like one of the booths. She turns, she
- 20:34Speaker 1: walks away and then like Jonathan Bennett and her and
- 20:38Speaker 1: his husband then walk away from the from the booth too.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You know what I love about this scene is that
- 20:45Speaker 1: it was not planned. No, I know. So there's a
- 20:49Speaker 1: real cute video on Gina Clare Mason or Jonathan Bennett,
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm not sure one of their instagrams of the actual
- 20:54Speaker 1: moment where Jonathan and his husband surprise her. They happened
- 20:58Speaker 1: to be in Germany trap while they're filming. And do
- 21:01Speaker 1: you think they like know each other from like last year? Yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: they know each other. They clearly knew each other. She
- 21:06Speaker 1: was just so shocked. The joy on her face is
- 21:09Speaker 1: so lovely. She's like, what are you doing here? And
- 21:13Speaker 1: then they put them in the movie.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I think they were just there for they were just visiting,
- 21:16Speaker 1: visiting travel. Yeah, yeah, that's fun. He's like, hey, that
- 21:19Speaker 1: looks like a Hallmark movie production over there. Let me
- 21:22Speaker 1: go check it out. Yeah, it's funny. I have one
- 21:26Speaker 1: more Okay, and you mentioned it. I mean she gives
- 21:30Speaker 1: away her suitcase of the samples. Why is she giving
- 21:34Speaker 1: away the suitcase that has the samples in it? Probably
- 21:40Speaker 1: because that's the best way to transport them without them
- 21:42Speaker 1: getting ruined. I know, but that's hers. Yeah, you know
- 21:47Speaker 1: what I mean. It was Yeah, how was she How
- 21:51Speaker 1: was she going to give all these ornaments? You would
- 21:54Speaker 1: think she would have some sort of box system. Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 1: like right, yes, you're a because they're in a little
- 22:02Speaker 1: wooden crate when she's shipping them. Anyway, That's all that's
- 22:05Speaker 1: all I got. Would you rate this movie? I gave
- 22:07Speaker 1: it three point seven five stars, four and a half.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I thought it was a really nice movie. It's one
- 22:12Speaker 1: of my top three at the moment. Keep in mind, listeners,
- 22:15Speaker 1: we have not seen the big movies of the week.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I understand something could happen. No, no, no, I need

- 22:25Speaker 1: Uh huh, missed it Christmas? And this interesting? What are
