- 1:32[SPEAKER_05]: Let's dive right in.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, Kieran, I'm going to turn this over to you to introduce us to the game and to get us started with this one shot.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_04]: The mejo's, I just bird this to the ground and make it a western dolly game is very high.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I just found out that there's a western dolly, so I actually would kind of work in various ways, but I don't want to wing it.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, next time.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that is a portal fantasy game of, basically, Goff, Dumanji, a group of people get together playing a role-playing game and get dragons to a fantasy world which froze their hopes and fears and losses back at them in the form of dragons or whatever else.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's like Dungeons and Dragons, but the dragon is your distant father and the Dungeons is every dark thing inside your soul.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_04]: You know, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill,
- 2:39[SPEAKER_04]: Who reads the rules though?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, really.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's like designers are very egotistical approaches.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_04]: So we're running a story of a cool total party kill, which is what grants basically challenged me.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, is it possible to actually just write a proper one-off scenario with a dungeon, to die?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_04]: And the answer is yes, at least I've tried to.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_04]: Die rituals, which is the main game, is, um, it leaves a bit more over a recessions, cut off and there's a lot more hugging, total party kill is the name, so it may suggest.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_04]: can be a little meaner.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_04]: There will be a few minutes we're going on.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_04]: Dio is something that walks entirely upon the personas, which are the people, the real world people.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just going to read the text.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_04]: You all used to play fancy RPGs together as teenagers, and so on an awful session, where the GM, yours truly, threw you into a killer dungeon and slaughtered the party.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_04]: Now, years down the line, you're all back in town, and the GM suggests the game.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_04]: With mutual recrimination, both in and out the game, you should surprise they asked.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: That's the setup.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_04]: So I, you know, I and this Massachusetts got your back together and fell out.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: We don't, maybe some of us like it should have been made where we don't.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to segue quickly into the magic circle, which is what we do in diet, sort of sex expectations.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's a safety tool.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_04]: If I can just gesture to everyone over to the actual magic circle tab, this is we define the tone of the game.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_04]: The fault is the fault with the fault is a dog fantasy.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_04]: Let's hover and there's also a more standard fantasy.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_04]: I would say dog fantasy less anyone has any really strong desires to go hard or softer.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I feel like I trust your judgement here.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_05]: Dark fairness is sounds great.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: Like, as a General GM thing, I will check anyone's everyone comfortable.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we play with the X-Coyle anyway, but like, I want a child checking with people quite regularly.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_04]: And also, like, tall boy killers.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: More violent, it's also slightly silly, you know, I think.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's something like, over the top about it.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, I won't definitely be checking in.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_04]: Awesome.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_04]: Interparty conflict.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_04]: The end of the game always involves a conflict between the group.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: Not necessarily violence, but the possibility of it.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_04]: How do people feel about party visticuffs before that?
- 4:42[SPEAKER_04]: It's the best, like, it's like on standard with only the end game has a classic party versus party stuff.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: How do people feel about opening up or not?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_06]: I'm open.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_06]: If I think if the spirit moves us, no Abby, you don't want that.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_03]: And do you know what it is?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_03]: Is that I am squarely about it, but I like what you just said of like if the spirit moves us and I feel like I can put that into the character of like if, yeah, that's that.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: I can be, I don't mind watching it happen.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: And if I feel so moved, I'll hop on it.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_04]: The actual way it phrases, I mean, go bless Harry it's written.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't write this bit.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_04]: Direct conflict between the playercats is possible for other game if the narrative demands this.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm really imagining like every just waiting outside of a fight, just waiting until everyone else is tired and then jumping in.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_05]: It's like a ring.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, now that you're soft enough.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_05]: My name is Ben.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_04]: Abby's playing the dictator therefore the most obvious reason of the might be partyboy.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: Which later, we will be using Dictator, the Faultis Yes, I presume we're okay with that one because we will play Diberfall in which case Okay, can the Dictator use the voice to control of a player characters because the way did it take to work from my people there's two things to dictate as voice can do.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_04]: What is the hurt people?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_04]: Which is basically allows the Dictator to work in the end guy.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_04]: I want to control people as and they're rightly all to that that emotional state The standard way of doing it is no if they can't Only on NPC characters
- 6:09[SPEAKER_04]: I've a yes or no, only on NPCs or maybe but the player play the dictator gets to send each time these and the player character.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_04]: My general suggestion for like Mutual, more mature players is the get consent each time, as is his call.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_04]: But like, to have the people feel about that.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm down again controlled.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you can control me.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_05]: I trust my wife, I trust your wife too and if she's sleeping on the couch tonight You're very comfy couch
- 6:40[SPEAKER_04]: one of the things like about the game is all the classes about what the the power is it costs something that's the entire point except the dictator is they just there's no downside it's just just the temptation you're a power there's no real downside to what you do if downsides for everybody else now what you think is that's it you know I mean like everyone else has to do something but yours is just if this is an ethical hole you're standing over you're gonna jump in
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like the answer is probably, yeah, let's go for it.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's going to be how when, it's more like when they jump in as much as the question.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_04]: What pushes, anyway, I'm finally, what sort of ended we want?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: How hard you want happy ending and emotionally complicated but satisfying conclusion, a cathartic tragedy, what's the general volume we're shooting for here?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm open here.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_04]: The standard one is happy, the standard one is like, emotionally complicated but satisfying.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_04]: I love a tragedy.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm on co-a-tragedy.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_05]: I'm in for emotionally complicated indoor tragedy.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want a hard one happy ending.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_05]: I want to, I want to hurt in this.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_05]: You never know.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_05]: That's true.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_05]: It's a spirit moves us, you know?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: That is the theme of the day.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for me, the standing ending of most noise noise is everyone goes to a guy ball and someone comes out.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_04]: That's fun.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 7:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's a hard way to get that.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to keep it emotionally calm.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_04]: But the potential of just really dog is still on the table.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, really.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's fine.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: Why do I open?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_04]: I should stop clapping because that's bad in a podcast.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_05]: But realizing it midway through is great audio for a podcast.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_04]: So obviously my fidgetals are here and I'm not touching them.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_04]: That's my entire goal.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_04]: Don't touch the fidgetals.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, Endive is Persona Gem.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_04]: So basically, caught off an endive, you do a much more broad at slower cook.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: TPK goes straight to heart there and that's some big questions.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_04]: So everybody, you are all, have a short relationship with my GM character.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_04]: There are on the biggest nerd at school, basically.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: All is the biggest nerd in this classic RPG group.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_04]: But in short, if you have a strong relationship with me, are there as the friend, the gym's best friend, the love, the one that you have loved, the bully, the one who bullied the gym, the bullied, the one that you have bullied, and the pity, the one that you have looked down on.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_04]: Has anybody got what's the jump on one of those roles?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_05]: I was interested in the pity.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_05]: That's right, Brian.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_05]: Which I'm also just thinking in terms of being pityed.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_05]: Can I go a little brother?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_04]: a little bit of a fantastic I want to jump right in on that how you yeah as I said it then we get like a lot of like soft these the questions are kind of the start so you can always build upon them what make my little bit of a fantastic uh... knife and you got any role that jumps out of you yeah i was thinking about uh... be in the the best friend thank you uh... abbey what about you i'm gonna play the bully you mean me i'm gonna be me
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: And Alice, the bullied.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, wow.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm mean too, so like, there's a circle of the chain of screaming.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_04]: If you sit on a bully Abbey, we can create a perfectly done animal.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: You're on new games.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, a little bit of a fucking pain.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_05]: A bully thing.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_05]: There's no waist in this system.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_03]: The rock, the bristles are so bullying, yes.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_04]: I run the game as I said, I was the biggest fanceneer than the group, perhaps the biggest and the universe as far as you knew.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_04]: We're all just speaking a group of no decades playing, missing in a playing at the school, whatever that means.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I'm gonna ask some of these questions directly at people, but a lot of people got strong feelings, chip head.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_04]: Elliot, okay, how many long was it since we played together?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_04]: So is it like five years, ten years, 20 years, 20 years, 20 years, let's call it, call it 10, there feels nice.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_04]: 10's good.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_04]: So we're heading towards Fertig, basically.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_04]: Excellent.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: That's a horrific period.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone's their worst selves at that time.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_04]: You have a whole lot of it.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_04]: He says two and a half people in there and late 20s and early 30s.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_04]: They are terrible people.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_05]: It's on, if you're above 30, you're great, but below 30.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_04]: We are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are, we are
- 11:11[SPEAKER_06]: Those are all really good.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_06]: Something else is a pretty spooky name.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_06]: Something else is a pretty spooky name.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_04]: How dare you?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, getting a touch of my like 13 year old Edge Lord to make up the name.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_04]: This is a really important part of the game.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: What about just the else?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_04]: The else.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: The else.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_04]: The other.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: The other.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_04]: Perfect.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_04]: Right, prime.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_04]: I'd like to know it's Nathan, you're the friend I am.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_04]: Excellent.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: You were my birth GM's friend.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_04]: You were my confident.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, what bonded us together?
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: We both were the same geek stuff.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_04]: You kind of hear her worship me and hung off every word of mine.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_04]: We were the first two square kids out of school.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_04]: Also, something else.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I like that first one.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: We just both into geek stuff.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: What especially did you love is the follow up question there?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I could just pull from real life.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: I, uh, I was really into the, uh, I think you were probably more familiar with this fantasy stuff, and, uh, you helped get me into it.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: And...
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I just, I like coming up with characters and playing the game and you like running the game, so it, it made it so nice.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_04]: So, what was specifically was our guide though?
- 12:26[SPEAKER_04]: Like, is it was it just the indie broadly, or was it like, was it like anything else a bit more, but like, yeah.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_04]: With the right HP watching Game of Thrones, by the way, if we're going to go 10 years ago, oh, sure.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe it was, it was like your home brew version of D&D, which was like darker than D&D.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm obviously, like, we watched Game of Thrones.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_03]: There's no revival, bye.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, that's cheating.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_04]: Trating.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: And then, that's been Tarsnory, we've caught the dice, I've called, no resist about GM, we just hate the idea of character getting resurrected.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_04]: That's great.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_04]: That's awesome.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_04]: Because they've lost the love of what?
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: And you got to get him.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_05]: That's great.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_05]: I always forget that this game hits on the second level as well.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_05]: We're not subtle.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_05]: Like him.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_04]: No, that's not fantastic.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_04]: The bully.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_04]: How did you believe the GM?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_04]: You were your visiting powerful.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_04]: Were you a wikedly socially manipulative?
- 13:17[SPEAKER_04]: We have smarter than me and made me feel stupid.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_04]: Or something else.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think that I would, I bullied you in the sense of I was like a very angry kid and I made it everybody else's problem and because you were like organizing things and running things I was like constantly telling you you were doing it wrong and kind of in the wickedly manipulative of like a I would get mad about it forcing you to like adjust a thing because I was too much.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so basically you hurt me by just it's hyper critical as a younger because you're sorry to me and making you run into my problem.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like of nothing like every choice you could make, there'd be something wrong with it in my opinion, somehow.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_04]: On a deal plan, and any good.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_03]: Why did you guys play games with me?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_04]: Why did you guys play the phone out?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_04]: You would have been even meaner if we didn't.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_04]: The bullied.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_04]: You were someone I treated bad, sorry.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_04]: The GM treated badly, repeatedly.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_04]: Why?
- 14:19[SPEAKER_04]: You're my younger sibling.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_04]: You were to throw it to me and I mocked you for every mistake.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_04]: It's a circle.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's a circle.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_04]: You were the hang-on friend of somebody cooler in the group.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: or something else.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I like a hang-along friend.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_06]: That's a really tragic vibe.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_04]: I got it.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_04]: You were even in fantasy.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_04]: Just kind of hook out and like, yeah.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_06]: I think I thought Nathan's character was very cool.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_06]: And I hung out.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_06]: I was a hangar on to Nathan's character.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and I was always like, yeah guys, what are we all doing?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, especially got the special sweet with best friends, me and knife and yeah, and I was like, oh yeah, we're a trio, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:14[SPEAKER_04]: And the pettyed.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, many people treated you poorly.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_04]: The GM seemed to take sympathy for you.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_04]: Why were you poor than everyone else?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_04]: Were you targeted by bodies at school for something?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: We're the younger sibling of another player.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: We're ahead of it.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_04]: We're ahead of it.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, or something else?
- 15:31[SPEAKER_05]: I'd definitely want to go younger sibling.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so you've already said yep, my younger sibling.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think so.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_05]: Does it make more sense to be younger sibling of another player?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think it'll have a player's right in that way, especially if they're a main, but Abby.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry, Abby's character.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, you nailed it.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_05]: You nailed it the first time.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_04]: The second Yuck everyone gets that character's name.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_04]: Feel free to write them on your screen as well.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: I know, that certainly makes that whole bit easier, because I accidentally got insulting Abby all the time.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_05]: You know what, I'll go ahead and do a little sibling of Abby.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_04]: That's nice.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Abby's character.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think weirdly part of the reason Brian is in the group is because I insisted it had to happen and I'm overprotective of Brian, but you guys also actually now the tides have turned, did you like Brian more than you like me?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, that's great.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, where you're like, wait, but you're so mean.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_06]: How does he turn out to be kidding because he's your sibling?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, in this group dynamic, great to him at home.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: I bully everyone.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_04]: It's a bit like, I'll just, I'm usually like, if Abby's so like aggressive to everyone else, Brian, Voyne's character gets hit in the neck.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it's a bit like that he gets the splash damage of Abby's right as well.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_05]: Right, because your character's been mean to everybody.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_05]: They're like, oh, we, we're not brave enough to stand up to you.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_05]: So, I think I'm a little bit annoying.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_04]: I love that.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I love that.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_05]: But, also, I think I'm going to go with the name Felix.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_05]: Felix is a good I'll go with Duncan.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm gonna go with Garrett.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: How about uh, how about Martin?
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Martin.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_04]: My best mate, Maltz and the Maltz.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_06]: The Martster.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_06]: The Martster.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_06]: Don't come out.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_06]: They call us.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: And your second best mate, Garrett.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_06]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 17:37[SPEAKER_04]: This question will go through everyone individually, so I'm going to read it once and then move it around.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'll start with Felix this time for bro.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's cool.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_04]: What was your hope for the future?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_04]: Be famous for what?
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: Get out of this town to do what?
- 17:49[SPEAKER_04]: To get started on a career, which to finally come out.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_04]: And why haven't you?
- 17:54[SPEAKER_04]: to settle down with someone you love.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have a who or something else?
- 17:58[SPEAKER_04]: So that's gonna go to everybody.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_05]: I think it just make it like extra pityable.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_05]: I think he was wanted to get famous, but for like twitch streaming.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you only adopted that as well.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_05]: You could have, you know, yeah, I feel like there are lots of art forms that if you don't make it, it's still okay.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like Twitch streaming if you're really trying for it and don't make it, it's somehow worse.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_05]: I can't, I don't know why.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's also not great if you do.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: Hard to explain to your older relatives.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: Martin, what about you?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of a knife and tell me about Martin.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_04]: What did Martin want to get out of school?
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: Um, maybe Martin's like a romantic.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wanted to, wanted to find love.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: Were you in love with anybody?
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: In the group, all just an MPL, somebody just another person.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was going to, because I'm, I'm thinking ahead to what, what are falling out might have been.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_04]: Well, okay.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_04]: We could save on that.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_04]: You, we, we'll sit on that briefly.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: For what?
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: What about Abby?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: Tell me about Finn.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, Finn.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_03]: I picked the name Finn.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_03]: Her full name is Felicity, but if you call her that, watch out.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_03]: Finn wanted to get out of town.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: She wanted to get out of Dodge and stroller over somewhere else, where she had less history.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, and Garrett, Elliot, tell me about Garrett, Garrett wanted to come out.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_06]: This was not a very accepting town.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_06]: I would say, and wanted to go somewhere where he could come out.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_06]: Let's go.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_06]: Why do we all?
- 19:40[SPEAKER_04]: And Gary, you got choice?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_06]: I always love a, I love a rural rural, rural New England is personal to me, so we can be rural New England.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_04]: I have this to bear, so I know I know vaguely what it looks like.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's like it's like old England, but newer.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_06]: It's a little new.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 20:17[SPEAKER_04]: I figured I wanted to be a, I figured I wanted to do an actual, a very popular actual play.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's a hot new thing that couldn't make it.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's my, that's my kind of engine.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_05]: It's too real.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_05]: Being like famous actually was also my first thought and I was like, is that too close to home for me?
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: Twitch stream Twitch stream.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's different.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, actually actually carry that would be fun if both of us had like a similar dream But had very different ways of going about it like yeah because you did like there's like you did this total party kill dungeon It's like you wanted to do hard core no re-rolls and I'm like nah story gaming
- 20:56[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, it's always like, there's such a big story gaming, they're really, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 21:18[SPEAKER_04]: No one will notice.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, around the time of our fatal game, maybe before or maybe after, at each of us did something that torched the glacier in my character Duncan.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_04]: What was it?
- 21:27[SPEAKER_04]: Here's a list that everyone's going to pick from.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_04]: You turn it to a party drunk and calls the use scene.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: You stole something precious.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_04]: What?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_04]: You made out of my partner, or at least someone I was extremely into.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_04]: You snapped and told me exactly what you thought of me.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_04]: What was this?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_04]: Your spread room was behind me behind my back, what were they?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_04]: I need you to do something for me and you just didn't.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_04]: What was it?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_04]: What's something else?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking, I was thinking I made out with maybe, I'm thinking we both like the same person.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I was just, you were a little bit more of a nerd than me.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little bit more outgoing, and that was all it took.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's the absolute opposed you want to sell for.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: You actually, it's so be you cared about, I think, is it more interesting for the person you cared about?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_04]: We're just around, I.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think we both, I think we both had feelings for... Yeah, I think I'm much prefer that as well.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we got name for... Ooh, what about Annie?
- 22:24[SPEAKER_04]: And he's good, beautiful Annie.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, my heart called out for her, and you took her away.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_04]: With your less-knowledge of polyhedrals.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_05]: Fantastic.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_04]: Anyone want to jump on next?
- 22:38[SPEAKER_05]: Could I have stolen your the dungeon prep for this dungeon?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: What?
- 22:44[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, I'm going to just show the fluid to the game.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: Unless I also want to make it as an RPG designer, let's include that.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yes.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, sure.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_05]: Alright, then I'll just do actual play.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_05]: Let's get real meta.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_04]: This is the game for it.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: Brilliant.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_04]: So you've stole my prep for this guy, as in the whole kind of thing.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_05]: Or in the running.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_05]: But I was thinking like stole the prep for like the original dungeon.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_05]: Like the one that we got killed in.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, cool.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: Ah.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's okay.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_04]: What's and you got it published presumably?
- 23:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be really else.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be stolen.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sure.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_05]: Or you know what?
- 23:21[SPEAKER_05]: How about, um, I wanted to be famous on, on Wiggle.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's what you're going to do.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_05]: And I ended up getting famous because I ran your module, right?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_04]: We had it that soon, doesn't like.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_04]: This was the, this is your calling card.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's really mean.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's a tip for you.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: You did.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_03]: Ben spread rumors about you.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: Behind your back, she was really mad that you were doing better in school and so she accused you of plagiarism.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: And the accusations stuck unfortunately.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_04]: And I didn't get to college.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's if you wanna go that hard.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: You could have been just gone to a different college and not your top choice, you do, you, but like, I think at a bare minimum, it tarnished your rep and maybe you went to a different school, I don't know.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_04]: I think that was good.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_04]: I do want to merge you, all that's important.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: So it's, yeah, I'll let you choose what the exact consequences were, but it was IQ's duplicatism.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_04]: What do you write?
- 24:26[SPEAKER_04]: What class?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like it fits of it was like an English or creative writing or something that you were so good at running these games and coming up with incredible stories, and I was jealous.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_04]: Am I?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: No, this is true.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_04]: No, this is too complicated.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_04]: I handed in that adventurous, my coursework.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_04]: You went, it's not Lloyd.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is bullshit.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_04]: That's Felix's.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: Can't double dip.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I think that's what we do.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: But I feel that's great.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_04]: Great.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: It gets fantastic.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'll finally go.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_06]: I think I snapped at you and told exactly what I thought of you, which I think it was like I was one of those hangers on to like I really wanted you to be my friend to the point that like I actually got a pretty good sense of who you are.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_06]: Like I listened and paid attention in such a way that when I finally snapped on you, I went at like your worst insecurities.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_04]: Only one day.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_06]: And I think if I can, it was the night we played the fetal game.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_06]: I think that I just like fucking got up from the table and in front of everyone unloaded at you.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's great.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, what would what did you say like?
- 25:37[SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to think, I do love the fact that we've, I've just coached all and then you say this.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: That's beautiful and brutal and I love it.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_06]: I think I maybe went after like your family or something like you kind of you didn't you didn't talk about your fan if it if this isn't like a liner anything like I think maybe you had some like bad family drama and I just like went in on the fact that like on all the details of like your parents were maybe going through a divorce or something and I was and like I essentially insinuated it was your fault.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my God, look at the balls, you know, you're weird, okay, and you know, also twice a two troll freak, you know, your family is falling apart and you can't, your family is falling apart and now you don't have this friend group either, like, yeah, I believe you, let's say my dad left you mom.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so for the rest of us, we did the thing that pissed you off before you killed us off, but then for Garrett, he did this after
- 26:35[SPEAKER_04]: Felix, Felix has to be after.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: The guy at his jaw ring.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: You can put yourself before after.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want both for good?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_04]: I think the four is probably better in the case of you.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: You'll be better.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: Me being better.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: And you didn't know what you knew.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I thought I was slick.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I must have dropped the character that some kind of thinly veiled version of Annie in the game.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, yes.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like Finn's was also before, and that it was very much a case of like, kind of, she's mean all the time, and I don't think she really pressed us that she crossed a line.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, did I know that it offended it?
- 27:13[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, presumably I didn't know it.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_04]: I just go for it.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_04]: Some probably didn't know that.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's the thing where you're like it couldn't be anyone else and then at another point it was like definitive proof.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: But at that point it was like, I just can't see how it could have been anyone other than then.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm really imagining like Duncan as you are like sitting in the principal's office like the door opens and fan walks out.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's just like all of a sudden.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_03]: It gives you a really bitchy smirk.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:39[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody who's listed the suits heard me basically let your people at the die discord about how you meant to run this they'll go Okay, you said get for the crushes in half an hour Well, it's pretty close.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: It's a soft-safety hour.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I know what to impress us Okay passes See we just passed a decade in ten seconds.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_05]: Whoa, it's great.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_05]: We're catching up right there
- 28:03[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, the thing that torched our relationship with, you know, the thing that torched our relationship with me, similar behavior has been recurring in your life.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_04]: How do you think we see this character trait go across your life?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm going to leave you the second question at the same time, so you have to sort of think about the same time.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_04]: You'll hope for the future, hasn't worked out.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_04]: You didn't get what you want or at least it didn't make you happy.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_04]: why.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I would have just think about those two because I think those two quite regularly tie together a bit.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'll start with me to give you a chance to think.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_04]: Well, my base of behavior was we'll control free query, patting nonsense, making enemies very easily, six.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_04]: Hello, I definitely know, I went to a small local college, I never, I don't think I have a dead go online with my natural play, I think it's kind of that, there's a sense that he always wants to zoom and never did them to the end, certainly never got anything published and I'm just all working a very small local job and I haven't even really gained for like a decade.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that is a very, very scary fan is also very single.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was just like a rinse and repeat of like, fan went to college, like across the country was so excited to reinvent herself.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_03]: And she hadn't actually worked through any of the reasons why she was being a bully.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_03]: So by the end of four years at school, like she'd isolated herself again, again moved someplace else and was like, all right, cool, we can start over again.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_03]: And has been doing well career-wise, but like, she's the person at work that no one wants.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_03]: to work with.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: And like she knows people talk shit about her behind her back.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_03]: And while she, it's harder in some ways to be a bully at work, especially if you're not like the top dog, but she has once again, like done the thing where just kind of being mean means that she's isolated herself.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: So she's, she's got, she got out of town.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: She's really not doing any better.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_04]: I do love that you've got our time, but you've still, unfortunately, you're still in the time where you are.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: I was gonna say you can take the girl out of the town and you just can't take the town out of the girl.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's bad to surprise you.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: You can be difficult to work with, even if you're not the boss.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I definitely, not the boss.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: There's one thing we haven't actually sent you tonight.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: We don't really know why fans are angry.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, wise fans, any idea why fans act like this?
- 30:24[SPEAKER_03]: Let me think, come back, let me think about that.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we're coming back, especially because you're siblings also in the group.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_04]: So it's like there's interesting stuff going on there.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sure we go over to Brian, yeah, any idea about Fingerlicks?
- 30:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think his stuff didn't work out because he got very, I think he had very famous very quick because of running your module, like that actual play did very well, and then everything after that has been like, oh, not as good as the first one.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, not as good as for, and like listen to ship just slowly drops off, drops off, people keep complaining that like, just go back to that word, like do that again.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's almost like a different person wrote that one.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's the constant refrain.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_05]: So you genuinely plagiarized.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_05]: Genuinely like fully plagiarized, like just stole them.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_05]: Because I think Duncan, you had the module, like, is essentially fully written and ready to publish kind of.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think I'm a bit extra nerd.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 31:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think this is not a live like vestidiousness.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, don't good in that way.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_05]: his life evolves by and this love but also like like so much so that Felix regardless of how like good he was or good he is he was able to like just take your work and run it like straight out of the binder and it became like a massive success I'm so like a true testament to how good Duncan was and also the degree of madness that it is that Felix stole it it wasn't like he put any of his own
- 31:53[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, I brought that as no as brutal.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: Maltz, what about you?
- 31:57[SPEAKER_04]: What's like nothing, what about Maltz?
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, um, I think and and y'all can help me decide.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: Is it, do you think it's better?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think Martin ended up marrying Annie.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: Is it better if they're in an unhappy marriage or divorced?
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, unhappy marriage is always sadder.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's always worse.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: All right, their marriage is on the rocks.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: fantastic.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'll come here for it.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_04]: We could save the boy for later.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_04]: That's what's the one interesting.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like I made it because the, the location of the questions, you kissing someone you shouldn't have.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_00]: Is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is the, is,
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: as something I could get something out of, but then acted without really thinking about how that would affect.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: Duncan, and so I imagine it ended up sort of similar relationship with Annie.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's always true.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, you know, Duncan could get up, should get over himself.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_04]: But that's not the stress to some text opinion.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_06]: Um, yeah, I think going with the the I think the kind of falling out that we like Garrett and Duncan had was a big moment for Garrett of realizing that like he actually had a huge crush on Duncan and this was him not being able to work that out and then for the following 10 years, like he finally did come out and it's like dating men, but then keeps finding himself in these situations where he.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_06]: uh... plays plays it cool as like a hangar on in a relationship and then let's all the things he hates about like a partner bubble up and then has a big blowout like every time and so it's just been that same pattern because he never learned how to like express his feelings properly and like dunking was like the first instance of uh... that's genuinely all broken yeah i feel so everybody that's the time was to say anything about why uh... that's
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think, and Brian, you can, since you're my brother, I can say, I think Finn is really angry because she's resentful that, like, in that extremely unfair way, she's resentful that her parents weren't, like, more successful of, like, in town of, you know, they always had a little bit less.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_03]: They always had, you know, they didn't go on cool exciting trips, they did, and she just,
- 34:40[SPEAKER_03]: in a very childish unfair way was really angry at them and was like, I'm going to get out of here and do better and was so then I think that also was like why she got really angry when other people had things and like did better than she did and she thought it was unfair but in that childish way where you're like, that's not how that works.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's good.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: Briefly, I just haven't took a breath.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_04]: I just think about your life.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_04]: Some of you have touched it a bit.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's like what you do now for your job.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_04]: You married dating a single, the ball store kids.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_04]: Just broadly, that kind of shape.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of you have actually kind of already given some details of that.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to give any more life.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_04]: For the fuck, Garrett, you're dating in one of that.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_04]: It's Garrett dating in one of the moment.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_06]: Garrett, I think is very lonely.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_06]: And I think...
- 35:27[SPEAKER_06]: Garrett works adjacent to like games maybe is like maybe just like a a payrolled like editor for like a big publisher that's good.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: Anyone else could any details about the kind of the outfit?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_04]: Abby, any other days about friends career?
- 35:43[SPEAKER_03]: I want to say she got into like finance because she got it in her head that that was like the epitome of success, but she's just sort of like a middle manager in something.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_03]: A bank?
- 35:55[SPEAKER_04]: Some of hangups about money going to finance just makes sense, I think.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_03]: I think, yeah, it was like, I'm gonna run Wall Street and it's like, she doesn't even live in the state of New York, let alone.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_04]: Nathan, bro, and anything else we would like to sort of add to your mix?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_05]: I was thinking kind of like a bit of a reason why Felix is interested in playing again.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_05]: Is that he's finally made the promise to people that he will run like the else season 2, but he's freaking out about it because he also knows that like if it doesn't go well his contract, just like probably destroyed.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_04]: That's good.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_04]: Any partners, kids?
- 36:34[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, oooh.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's I think he's married with, uh, oh wait.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_05]: How old are we 30 married?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_05]: Married with four kids.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_03]: They all feel like it's got busy.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think, and I think it's, um, the, the, like, the additional stress is that
- 36:51[SPEAKER_05]: work isn't going well in that everyone isn't liking anything that he's making and now it's kind of a tipping point where he finally has to do the thing he doesn't want it to do which is run a season two of this thing that he can't run and if it doesn't work then he has like some real financial troubles.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_04]: Coco.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_04]: Coco.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not a fool if you know about Ami, do you have kids or like also what you do?
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in charge.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: No kids and I think that's part of part of the tension.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: He wants kids and Martin does not.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: marketing executive.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like one of those guys who, but just like big collection of just like nerd shit in his home and no one to share it with.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: There's no one else.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: No one else that I work with.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just a just a perfectly personable guy at the office, but just I say what I need to say to
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: makes small talk at the water cooler, but no one has my same, uh, my same interests.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: Catch, catch the game last night.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I look at, I looked up what happened in the game.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, like, four, four, four, four, four, four, four, so trashy.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_03]: What season?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_03]: What sport is this?
- 38:06[SPEAKER_04]: The end day, four, four, five edition.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, I'm going to tweet most of the time.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_04]: I said I'm actually single.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's true, I'm actually divorced.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, with two kids.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_04]: Mm.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: last question before we get it to the Sony Gen. With the bad blood in the room, why do we decide to come anyway?
- 38:24[SPEAKER_04]: It's around Christmas, I suggested we play a game because everyone's back in town for all-time sake, good all-bots, you know, it's a decade after the school, there's a school reunion shit energy going on.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: So why do people say yes with all the stuff that's between us?
- 38:36[SPEAKER_04]: Felix is already giving the kind of answer, but the other suggestions are, bit weird sense of guilt.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_04]: You have unresolved the motion for someone else in the group.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: or something else.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a follow-on question to each of them, and I'll say that.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_04]: Where does the guilt, how often is weird sense of guilt for you?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_04]: Unresolved emotions, who, and more peculiarity, what do you want to know?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_06]: I think Garrett is in therapy and has mythologize this idea that until he apologizes to the doctor and he sets this pattern, he cannot properly move on and fall in love with a person as an adult.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think it's, it's a until he apologizes or until Duncan forgives him?
- 39:25[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's until he apologizes like he thinks it's going to be easy, but I think probably as soon as he sits down, he realizes it actually isn't until he forgives them.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_04]: Brilliant.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_03]: Then partly is doing this because Felix seems excited and interested and it's like a little sibling moment of like, all right, well, if you're going, then I kind of have to go.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think there is a piece of her now that she's repeated this pattern so many times.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: She's realizing it's a pattern.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it is that sort of sense of guilt of also the nostalgia where you're like,
- 40:04[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we were all friends though, like I don't that matter that we fell apart.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's just that's what happens when you grow up.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: And so we're still friends.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and, and so wants to come back and sort of a similar to Garrett fix it.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's the first iteration.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I love it.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_04]: That's why my wounds here, like, um, they should work out.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: uh... planned this game was like the last time martin remembers having fun oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no shit, no I'm useless.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no he's doing he's he's checking all the boxes, you know, the life looks good on the outside, but he's just just bored.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just bored and wants to game and escape.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_05]: Right, I think he's coming to this kind of with an express desire of like I need to farm as much additional material as I can.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_05]: You'll be the worst of these people.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_02]: I was doing this.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: He looks just like a single lesson.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think it's Felix did this thing.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_05]: He got really famous.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_05]: And then he was like, great.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_05]: I'm here now.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_05]: I can be enough.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_05]: I can do my own stuff.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_05]: And every bit of the past 10 years has been his entire audience saying, no, you cannot know you are not enough.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and so now it's got no point where I don't think he's excited about this.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_05]: Like this isn't him.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like, oh, he, he, he, it's him being pushed to the edge of his rope of like, if this doesn't work, he likely won't be able to make this his career anymore.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_05]: He has four kids to support it.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_05]: Like he's getting pushed back into a corner that he made for himself that he thought was much further away than it actually was, but also he likes that limelight.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_05]: He wants people to be praised them on Reddit again.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: The highest praise one can receive.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: Fantastic.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_04]: This is now the end of Persona Gem.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_04]: Persona Gem, of course, never ends in the game of Dio.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_04]: Good to need to ask people questions as we play to define details.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's all just like visual hot mess, people.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_04]: There's no end of material.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_04]: What I do normally in a game of die, we do actual Paragon Generation.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's basically, everyone sits around as a miniature log and we all pretend to be the characters we've made.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_04]: Generating your characters in RPG.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_04]: And it's really a chance to a...
- 42:31[SPEAKER_04]: It's a nice breaking exercise.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of just a chance to be...
- 42:34[SPEAKER_04]: Just go to your character's voice and it's a bit of boy and the magic rituals flood.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, it takes about half an hour so we're not going to do that.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_04]: So instead, I'm going to just give you the brief narrative version.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_04]: It's, um, we have to get Duncan's place.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_04]: It's a small flat in this, uh, you know, rolefully cheap bit of town.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_04]: He kind of just e-welcome to everyone in, uh, and it's all sits down.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to play game tonight.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_04]: He sort of explains.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, we're going to play game tonight.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_04]: We are going to play this game from the 1990s.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_04]: It's called die, but there's very interesting some of it.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_04]: There's an urban myth.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_04]: You might know about it Felix.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_04]: The people played it and disappeared.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's very, you know, the kind of edgy shit I was into as a kid.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: points of it.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_04]: This is it.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_04]: And he sits down and starts handing out the character classes.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_04]: He sends a class called the dictator to Fenn, which is called a d4, with a d4 attached.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_04]: He hands Martin, a d12.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_04]: It was the god-bounder.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_04]: He hands Felix, the fool, and he hands a garact, the emotion light.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: And then we sit down to join our characters.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_04]: Everyone has a character sheets, since it's just the quick one, they're basically two choices on all the classes.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_04]: So no, it's quite simple to sort of jump for it.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_04]: Your stats are pretty sad.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_04]: Everyone got different choices, it was hard to sort of say.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_04]: You pick your God for the Godbinder.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_04]: You pick your gift of the Fair for the Neo.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_04]: You pick your sacred emotion for the night and the did take the pixel emotion.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_04]: The other thing you actually pick is excitedly,
- 44:04[SPEAKER_04]: You'll look, which of course you can also fill in your own.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_04]: When I say you can, I mean, you almost certainly will.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_03]: But I like using one of these spectacular evening wearers, very funny.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, a long cloak balanced between elegantly wasted and scruffy, that feels right.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_05]: And then I'm going to put my trade as a carn artist.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_04]: that's fun.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I've gone with a heavy metal sire on knockoff with huge metal hat and glowing eyes.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_04]: I do say hell rather than hat because that's the energy.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going with the underworld guide.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: I want to summon skeletons.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's good.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, Taney's nonsense.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_04]: I love that in the book.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: It describes them as stop motion skeleton.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this is the best thing I've ever seen.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_05]: That is such a nice touch.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_05]: From that, what's that maybe Jason and the organ arts?
- 45:01[SPEAKER_05]: The like the really great stop motion.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_04]: As like the skills it's definitely not the morning star game as well, it's just, it's just, it's called the skeletons.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: The skeletons.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_04]: Not even just skeletons.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's the skeletons.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's the skeletons.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: The sperm boys.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: The sperm boys.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: I've got everyone's sister and makes their characters.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: Duncan is probably going first to demonstrate and Duncan is playing the master.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: The GM in this game, the GM has a character class.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: He is playing, he gets to treat and bend the rules, which is ground is quite exciting, and he seems very exotic by that concept, and his characters got this ridiculous sort of knock-off sour-on energy to which with a big metal hell when glowing eyes.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: So that's the thing.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_04]: What about what does Felix design?
- 45:44[SPEAKER_05]: Felix has definitely taken cues from the heavy metal saran knockoff and has basically made an error going knockoff, has made a very like scruffy.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_05]: It's described in the book in Anosheet as a long cloak balance between elegantly wasted and scruffy.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_05]: So I think he's going for like classic rugged roguish hero.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, what about Malton?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: Martin has chosen the underworld god as their deity that they have a contract with, uh, and as such is going all in on the necromancer look, black hood, skull paldrins, uh, sort of ribcage, armor, and then just just bones, just covered in bones.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: So many of us.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: Big big bone club, or yeah, it says it's a two-handed hammer, a big bone hammer.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: But go off.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_04]: What about fan?
- 46:37[SPEAKER_03]: We'll just fan this on then as the dictator effectively just looks like Trinity from the Matrix.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_03]: With a severe bob, though.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, that's just a beer.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's a beer, Bob.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_03]: Of, it's like the black leather jacket extremely sharp angular.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like there's weird sort of pointed shoulder pads going on in there.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: And she has a dagger and a crossbow.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_03]: And your emotion is... And my emotion is loathing.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_04]: Fantastic.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_04]: You got it.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Garrett is a terror knight specifically.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_06]: She's um, Garrett is head to toe fully clad like very or Nate and highly defensive looking a black and white armor that like his pattern throughout and my arcane weapon, if it's cool, is going to be up here of brass knuckles because I think night with brass knuckles is.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_06]: They're a little more our neat looking than like, you know, monster rest knuckles.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, same idea.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, you've seen Alan Moore's gauntlets.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_04]: You've got a gauntlet here, case we wear as a photo shoot.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_05]: That's kind of how I'm picking you out.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_05]: The technology doesn't evolve too much there.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_04]: When the character sort of get together with the final thing Duncan does, his hand, everyone's got the dice, he says, take the dice and hold them out, you know, close hand, and he's a bit embarrassed by this, and that can take them out in your whole hand, now close your eyes and lower them to the table, and open your eyes at the count of 1, 2, 3, the open's the hand.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_04]: and you're somewhere else, instantly, it's almost like we imagine sort of falling down into a chair because you're sitting around a table, you fall upwards to standing.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine if you fall down but find yourself standing afterwards, you're standing in a circle.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_04]: You're entirely just dressed as you normally are.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_04]: You're an exactly the same kind of a like evening close.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_04]: You're normally wearing a sloping out and playing an RPG and your circle.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_04]: You are in a cabin.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: It is, it's like molten plastic.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's the image.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_04]: You imagine you're like, you know, a half of a molten miniature.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_04]: Like something you might see in the window of games workshop, but some awful chaos attack with a blow torch, like something out of them.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_04]: Like the the mean stuff in Toy Story.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: Sid.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: Everything fit in is all-flum weighty and don't cut has a is the first direct and there's the moment of like Oh my god, it's real and then he does something surprising you all.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_04]: He reaches out and grab something because floating in a circle in the middle of you are the five dice
- 49:28[SPEAKER_04]: he reached out instantly grabs the D20 and there is a burst of energy flying out as he spends a treat token and as a burst of energy and he immediately jumps up.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine it's body being injected by kind of like a nightmare serum.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, to my eight foot, looking down on you, his actual head splits open, and his skull goes into this enormous nettle thing, and there's an ignition as to buy his burst out his eyes, and he looks to the nuance and it works.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_04]: Now you will all pay and he clicks his finger and he disappears.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_04]: There's a sort of sparkling awful fire light that's shoots out and you realize there's one entrance.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_04]: What exit from this place?
- 50:12[SPEAKER_04]: And it's the shape of enormous jaws.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_04]: Like literally like his actual head, but his head has been pulled back and his teeth elongated to daggers.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: Ew!
- 50:21[SPEAKER_04]: I love it!
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want this awful gate.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_05]: Felix just goes, yes and pulls that notebook.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_05]: It starts writing.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_05]: And that is all for this preview of die total party kill.
