Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: There are people that I'm realizing that want to give away money, and Coach K, I think you cracked the code.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_09]: Why don't get that stuff?
- 0:07[SPEAKER_09]: I have.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_09]: I have.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_09]: Millions.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_09]: You should be completing three vibrant today.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_09]: One of my community members paying $47, she got $600,000 in grants as a child care.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_09]: When you apply for a grant, you apply based off of your mission and your impact or the problem that your business is going to solve.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_09]: Chad, you can see can and will be your grant writer when you learn how to use this tool the correct way.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to another edition of the social proof podcast family.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to jump straight into this because I need some money and our next guest is going to get me some money.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: She promised that she was going to get me some money and I've been seeing it all over the internet.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm seeing these people that are getting grants free.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: free money.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: I just like the way that goes together.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing in this world free except if you can get into this grant space, there are people that I'm realizing that want to give away money.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: And Coach K, I think you cracked a call on how to get that stuff.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: I have, I have millions.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: You have a community of 7,000 paying members.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: Huh?
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: that like all over the world that are learning how to get grants.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_09]: From all over the US, Canada, Jamaica, all over, that Nigeria, and we're teaching and educating them how to take their ideas that they have in their head, the events that they're doing, and their mission and their impact, put it on paper, plug it into AI, and get access to grants to make it happen as well.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_09]: What is the type of person that does not get a grant?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_09]: So, the type of person that will not get a grant is the person that is very selfish in their answers and response.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_09]: So most of the time when we think about grants, we go to these applications and we say, I need money to catch up on my life bill.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_09]: I need money to start this business.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually money where even money does that.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I have a grant and I get about this grant.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_09]: And we have several thousand people apply for this grant.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_09]: You'll be very surprised.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_09]: the answers that we get on this grant.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're giving a grant and the reason they need the grant is because of their financial hardships and they need to pay their bills.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's how they get it.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_09]: That's how they get it.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_09]: It's a business grant but when they answer the questions they answer it and they talk about getting out of financial debt or hardship and there are very few people I would say one of the grants that we gave away when I first started this was about 10,000 people that apply.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_09]: Only about 400 people made it in front of me because they completed the grant application the correct way.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: Out of 10,400 file.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: So tell me about the correct way.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean by the correct way?
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_09]: So when you apply for a grant, you apply based off of your mission and your impact or the problem that your business is going to solve.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_09]: So I had a pie case and I wanted grants for my pie case.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_09]: I wouldn't go to a company and say, hey, give me a grant for my pie case.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_09]: I would talk about the pie case.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I had this pie case that educates entrepreneurs.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_09]: It shows them strategies to grow their business.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_09]: We're hosting a pie case, something.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_09]: And at this pie case, I'm going to talk about problems.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_09]: And how to overcome marching and starting your pie case and growing your pie case.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_09]: So that sounds a lot better than saying, give me money for my pie case.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_09]: when they give me the money.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_09]: So when you have taught me and you locate a problem and you figure out how your business can be the solution to the problem.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_09]: That's what gets you access to grants.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_09]: So when I started my child care center, I used to have a child care center.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_09]: I realized that when we talked about child care, there wasn't really quality education and low income communities.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_09]: I located the problem.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_09]: I became the solution to the problem.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_09]: by incorporating a STEM-based program that prepared my kids with the next level of grade school.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_09]: So that's how I kind of got into the grand space because I located a problem, position my business as solution, and then went out and started applying for all these grants and making companies give me the money to make it happen.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, so the way you take people through the grant process when you're giving, I'm a grants, you're doing your way.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_09]: I give out a grant.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_09]: I give out one large grant every month, or micro grant, $1,000 a grant.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_09]: And then every Monday, I give out a $500 grant because that's the first grant that I received was a $500 grant.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: Every Monday, you give away a grant?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_09]: Every Monday, I do a live webinar every Monday, teaching entrepreneurs about grants and how to get access to grants for their business and on that same webinar at the end of the webinar, I award somebody with a $500 grant.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: So you structure their application process with you the same way they want to apply to another company.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_09]: So with rent, it's a lot of copy and paste.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_09]: So once I show you and once you learn this strategy, you can take your answers and start applying for multiple grants.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_09]: You just kind of have to align it with the grant that you apply for.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_09]: So once you learn it and you come in class and I teach you or in the community, you can take your same answer and just start applying for all these grants that you see.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: And okay, what's in this community?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me like what's going on in the community.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_09]: So in this community, it's really everything that I wanted when I first learned about grants, our needy access to grants for my business.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_09]: We give entrepreneurs the grants to apply for.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_09]: So one of the biggest things that we see is people just don't know where to apply.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_09]: So I go scrub the internet every single month and I find grants.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_09]: So every day, I'm giving you a grant to apply for because there's a statistic out there that says that entrepreneurs that apply for one grant every single day have a 99% success right of getting funding.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_09]: So, if I show you this strategy and I teach it and I'm giving you the resource and all you have to do is hit quick.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_09]: There's absolutely no reason why you're not getting access to grants.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: So what I would love for you to do, keep our money, our money, can you hear me that laptop?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Because even though we're gonna like show a screenshot, you know, even though we're gonna show a screenshot, because I ask Coach K specifically, I'm like, yo, I want you to go through this process and show people like what to click.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: So what I wanna do is even though we're showing it, I wanna follow along to see how easy it is.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: or difficult it is for me to follow along in getting it right.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: So what is the first thing?
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know if applying for the grant is your first step, but what I'm asking myself, okay, how am I going to get money to fund whatever?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: What is the first thing I need to consider?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so I'm going to speak to you as if you already have the foundation of your business set up right.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_09]: So you already have the LLC, you already have the EI in, you already have the business address.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_09]: That's important to help and you get access to grants for your business.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_09]: So if you already have those things in place, one of the first grants that I probably would walk you through.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_09]: or what was that checklist of things?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_09]: So you want to have an LLC?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_09]: You want to have a legal entity.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_09]: That necessarily has to be an LLC, but it can be an LLC, non-profit, escort, seek, or a legal registered business with the Secretary of State.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_09]: Check.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_09]: You also want to make sure you have a business address.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_09]: Not your home address, not your grandma address, your business address on your corporate documents.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_09]: Then you want to have an employee identification number.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_09]: So identify your business.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_09]: You also want to make sure you have the social brand.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_09]: So this could be a business website.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_09]: This could be your social media platform.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_09]: It can be a link to the empage.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_09]: Because when great tours look up your business, they're going to Google you.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_09]: And you want them to be able to see your business and see your brand.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_09]: OK.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_09]: The next thing I always encourage entrepreneurs to have is to know what problem their business is going to solve.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_09]: So maybe you're not really clear on what that looks like or what to do or how to even position yourself as a problem or as a solution to the problem, you can go directly to chat GBT and I would hit this little microphone button, I would hit the Dixie button, I would say, hey, let me do test.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I'm starting a podcast and with this podcast, I want to connect with women who need support with mental health, but I also want to position myself to get access to grants.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_09]: Tell me about how I can identify myself as a solution to a problem and how I can connect with my target audience and get access to grant funding.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_07]: So by typing in this prompt.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_07]: It could be all.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it could be all.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's happening in this prompt.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, let me do this.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: So what I'm doing is I'm stating the problem.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'm stating what I do, okay, let me know if this works, okay, because I'm coachable.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, chat, I'm doing a vent called podcast summit where we're empowering entrepreneurs to start a podcast, grow a podcast, but I want to position it in a way where I can get a grant that's going to impact the world.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_02]: We also went out college age students in high school students,
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: with communication skills, understanding how to use a camera because this is something that really needs to be handled.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a skill set that kids need so that they can grow in any area of life.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: So we're amazing it for it.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_06]: Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay,
- 9:09[SPEAKER_06]: Most people with podcasts don't end up here.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: People who go to the gym don't end up in shape, either.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_06]: So are you claiming podcasts made you rich?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, podcasts made me know it.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: Stiffering.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_06]: What made the money?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what made the money?
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Relationships and opportunities.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's the businesses that came out of the conversations with my guests.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's the part nobody really understands.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_06]: Where do they learn to do it?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: Probably the same place I'll be teaching it.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: And it lay on a podcast so I'm in July 2nd and 3rd.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: No more questions.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going to be a member of the police.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_09]: It's good, I'm going to stay on the military.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_09]: Tell me about tell me what my problem and solution statement is.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me what my problem and solution statement is.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so I'm on chat and I just said all that, okay, mind it and cut me off.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're screen record, we're got some funky stuff going on.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: All right, says absolutely.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: You're really asking for a grant ready framing of podcast.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody that makes it bigger than we teach people how to podcast.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_02]: So the problem statement says,
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Too many aspiring entrepreneurs, college age students and high school students have ideas talent and ambition but they lack the communication and media skills required to succeed in today's economy.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Traditional education often does not adequately prepare them to speak confidently to compelling stories, build a personal brand, use digital tools or create content at Open's doors professionally and financially.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: In a world where opportunities are increasingly shaped by visibility, communication, and digital presence, students who do not know how to communicate on camera, share their ideas effectively or use media platforms strategically, or add a major disadvantage.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: This gap limits confidence, career readiness, entrepreneurship, and access to income generating opportunities.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I'd also have solutions, statements, a stronger grant, stop version, but we get the gist.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely, right?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_09]: So now that we're clear on what our problem statement is and how our business is going to solve a problem, we can take the same statement and start sourcing other grants that are out there and available for us, okay?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_09]: So maybe you are a new entrepreneur.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_09]: You're just getting started and you're ready to launch your podcast, or you're ready to start your business.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_09]: Then there are micro grants out there available for you.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_09]: One of them being,
- 11:31[SPEAKER_09]: Um, my grant, the legacy grant.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_09]: It's a thousand dollar grant to help you start or grow any business.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_09]: You can actually, there's a couple of different ways you can do this.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_09]: You want the easy way, you want the hard way.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: I want both.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_09]: So the easy way is you can take the link of the podcast, right?
- 11:46[SPEAKER_09]: So you take the link of the legacy grant.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_09]: You copy the link.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_09]: And then you go back to chat, GPT, plug it inside.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_09]: Until church, you B.T.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_09]: based off of what you know about me, help me apply for this grant.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_09]: What was the website again?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_09]: The legacy grant.com.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: The legacy grants.com.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_02]: The legacy grant.com.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then that website.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_09]: Take that website, plug it inside, copy and paste it, plug it, paste it inside of church, you B.T.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_09]: And then until chat, based off of,
- 12:23[SPEAKER_09]: What you know about me?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: But you know about me.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: I hope y'all are at home doing this together, okay?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: But he's the one you know about me.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_09]: Help me apply for this grant.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Help me apply for this grant.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_02]: Dang, AI is.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: I used to have mixed reviews about AI.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's so incredible, but I'm like, uh, it makes you lazy, but this is so easy.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_09]: So I told people at the time, you have to figure out how to incorporate this in your business.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_09]: So for me, I was a great writer.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_09]: I was the person that was writing the grants.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_09]: But if I didn't learn how to incorporate this in the next five years, I won't have a job.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: It says I checked the grant page.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's a $1,000 coachK legacy grant.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's free to apply in a form asked for your basic information, business stage industry, monthly revenue, all of that kind of stuff.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: For the current page, says applications are upcoming grant are due, so it changes what's due.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_09]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_09]: So it should generate you and did it generate you a paragraph.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_09]: anywhere in there.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, a few, I mean, a bunch has as a don't position pocket, somebody's just an event and has a, you know, our need to say it says best positioning for the application.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: For the field asking what describes you best, the site includes options such as self-employed business, whatever.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it's dang.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's telling me exactly what to choose.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_09]: It's telling you exactly what to do exactly what to choose, but you can go down a little bit further.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_09]: It should give you a copy and paste paragraph.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, it says your grant ready problem statement, your grant ready solution statement.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: Best answer for what will you use this grant for?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: So it gives me all three.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: the grant right at the problem statement, the solution statement and the best answer for what will I use this grant for.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_09]: So what you want to do because that's the one question that we ask on the legacy grain is what will you use this grant for?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_09]: The easy way is all you have to do.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh, I lost my job and I need the money.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_09]: So all you have to do is copy and paste that answer and hit submit.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to do it because people won't think I'm cheating, if I get the grand.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: But this is dope.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: I will use the grand to expand podcast some of its educational impact by creating more accessible training opportunities for entrepreneurs, college students.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: This is f**k.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_09]: So you take that and you copy and paste.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_09]: Now the heart way is to go inside and try to type it all out yourself and then make it sound, you know, very nice and well polished.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_09]: And that's the old school ways.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_09]: 20, 20, six.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_09]: You can plug your answers, your thoughts, your impact.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_09]: You can talk the chat, your BT and AI and it creates an answer that you can use to go a platform multiple grants for your business.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_09]: That's a micro grant.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_09]: But we can go all the way up to
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: What is the range of micro grant?
- 15:10[SPEAKER_09]: So micro grants, I would say, are generally under 5,000 dollars.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_09]: And a lot of those don't require an LLC or EI in to qualify.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_09]: So like the legacy grant, for example, they don't require LLC.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_09]: But when you talk about or an illegal entity or EI in, but when you talk about grants that are 10, 20, 50, 100,000 dollars or more, they're going to require that you have the business set up right in the structure and the foundation.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: And it seems like these micro grants, you only really
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: They're not even expecting nothing from you, like, I mean, like three, four, five, thousand, it's just right off stuff, like, oh, yeah, it's a text right off for me.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_09]: It's an, it's a text and center for me at the end of the year.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: There's no responsibility, like,
- 15:48[SPEAKER_09]: we want I want to get back and I want to help others and I want to educate others about the great the grants and the incentive and the grants and the importance of grants but at the end of the day it does help my bottom line too right but I'm saying for the person applying there's no responsibility of fulfillment not at all not when it comes to a microgram okay all right so let's let's go to the next level let's go to the next level let's let's do the this is the
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, wait, what's the website?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_09]: It is OSB.LLC.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: OSB.LLC.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, OSB.LLC.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, oh, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS, OS,
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: slash fellowship slash fellowship slash fellow ship.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so we're on Lzv.lc.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, four slash did I spell fellowship role?
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: Fellowship slash fellowship.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: I said, sorry, this page wasn't a fail.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: Got it.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: For some reason,
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let me just go here.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, fellow ships, there we go.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Right, go from my dance reality while keeping 100% ownership, one year at $100,000, okay?
- 17:19[SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: The ocean-nessy fellow ships.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_09]: And it's something I want to point out on this grant.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's a black one, let's show.
- 17:31[UNKNOWN]: So,
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, short to see.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, man.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like that when I see what.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, go ahead.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_09]: So there's probably somebody in the comments right now saying you can't use a out-of-win grants.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_09]: That your answers are going to sound the same.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_09]: You won't win this grant.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_09]: $100,000 grant on their website.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_09]: They're telling you on the website.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_09]: You see what it says at the, whoa, right, I'm, look at the screen.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: on using AI.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Use AI in whatever way helps you with the application, especially in improving the framing of your answers.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's telling you to do that.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_08]: It's telling you to use AI.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: We cannot penalize use of AI in most cases, especially we're used to improve the answers you've already written.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_09]: So they're telling you to use AI to enhance your answers, and strengthen your answers, and strengthen your response to get access to grants.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_09]: Now, this particular grant, it's only asking a couple of questions.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_09]: It's asking a couple of things about your business and about your brand.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_09]: It's asking you what your most exceptional achievements are.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_09]: What are you working on?
- 18:29[SPEAKER_09]: Why are you the best person to receive this grant?
- 18:32[SPEAKER_09]: And then it's also asking you for a pitch video.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_09]: So with this grant, you actually have to prop your phone up.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_09]: Do a believe it's a 60 second pitch video.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_09]: Yep, 60 second pitch video that talks about your business.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_09]: Your impact and how you're going to use the money.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_09]: But they're only asking you, which you can use AI, right?
- 18:50[SPEAKER_09]: You can use AI.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to show you how to write your screw with AI.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_09]: They're only asking you eight questions for a chance to win $100,000.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_09]: I think I can answer eight questions.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_09]: So if you show, but you don't have to answer the questions.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_09]: So you can take the same link, plug it inside a chat, GPT, tail chat, GPT.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_09]: I'm getting ready to apply for this grant.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_09]: Help me apply for this grant.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not doing that.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_09]: Or if you want to be a little bit more detailed, you can take the question.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_09]: So you can go to question one, and then copy that and put it inside a chat, GPT.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_09]: And then go to question two, and then just copy and paste.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's insane, but you try your mic to turn it so you can see, yeah, come on, go.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: All right, there's a real opportunity, okay.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, it's literally writing out everything.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this will take me all of eight minutes, including the 60-second video.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_09]: It will take you no time.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_09]: And so entrepreneurs are missing out on so much free money because there's this misconception out there that grants take too long and that you can't do it and that you have to hire somebody to help.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_09]: Chat, you B.C.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_09]: can and will be your grant writer when you learn how to use this tool the correct way.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: This is insane example positioning I've already bought a million dollar platform from scratch my mastering conversation community and content this fellowship doesn't create momentum it accelerates what's already happening.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I guess this is why there's the why you question.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: This says, um, make them believe you're inevitable.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: They fund people who feel unstoppable.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: So don't be humble here.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's given.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's telling me exactly on a position in everything.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's insane.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's giving you exactly what you need to be successful.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: Before you got here.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: Well, when you got here, when we were talking, you were saying, you know, you get grants while talking, you hired a VA, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I don't, I don't have the patience to hire a VA, and then I got to teach them the, I don't, I don't have that patience.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_02]: But,
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: VA is just if they're just sitting down they could find a bunch of stuff and then you tell them the judging between it and it's just you're throwing that's why that stat says if you apply for to try a grant every day you're 99% likely to get one
- 21:05[SPEAKER_09]: But we have people that are high in virtual assistants.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_09]: You don't have to train the virtual assistant.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_09]: You put them inside of our community.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_09]: And they are virtual assistants.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_09]: Put the virtual assistant inside of the community.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_09]: And they're getting their informants.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_09]: So they're basically getting training for me.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm teaching them about grants.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_09]: I'm giving them the grants to apply for.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_09]: But you are reaping the reward because you're paying the virtual assistant, I've seen it on the other day.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_09]: There was a virtual assistant.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_09]: three hours an hour to be a great writer.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_09]: Three hours an hour to be a great writer.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_09]: I clicked on that so quick, like, let's have a, let's talk.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_09]: Let's talk.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_09]: Three hours an hour, 580 dollars a month is all he wants.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_09]: So imagine me getting in.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_09]: Not yet, we're working on it.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_09]: I was like, give me, let me get my man.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_09]: I'll pass it to you.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_09]: I'm working on it, I'll work it on it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, let me ask you, it's okay, while we're there, you see something like that.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like, okay, let's just hire, but it seems like you're working on something.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: What, what is this process you're taking in person through?
- 22:13[SPEAKER_09]: The process of preparing the partner, how you're in our virtual assistant.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_09]: So you want to make sure you get some of this dedicated to like the fulfillment of it, because grant writing can be very tricky, and it can be very tedious if you don't know the process.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_09]: So one I want to get some of you that is already educated on AI.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_09]: I don't want to teach you about AI.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_09]: I want you to already know about AI.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_09]: I do want somebody that might have some knowledge about grant writing.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_09]: I don't want to get somebody that's completely flooring and has what they are flooring.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_09]: But that has no idea what grant writing is.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_09]: So I want to make sure you understand what the grant process is, what it looks like, some of them have already had experience working for nonprofits and companies and corporations and they already had this on their resume.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_09]: So it makes it more appealing to me if you already have experience and you have the proof to show that I've already helped other companies get access to capital.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_09]: And then making sure that, you know, I use Slack and I communicate with them through Slack and just have a whole system of what I expect from them.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_09]: Log in at this time, you should be completing three to five grants a day.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_09]: See me the grants that you actually apply for.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_09]: That needs to be a grant tracker that shows me the grants that you completed.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_09]: What's our follow-up process?
- 23:22[SPEAKER_09]: So just making sure that
- 23:23[SPEAKER_09]: It's not just, hey, go apply for these grants.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_09]: It's, let's make sure that we have you doubting like a real employee, and this is your job.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm going to give you bonuses, bonus, and incentives for the grants that you receive.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_09]: So it's a little kickback to make you a little bit more hungry, to make you go get more.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad I said a question because I haven't been like $3 running.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'll take, I will shake the dice and throw them joists on people like, let's go, just do what she tell you to do in the community and do that.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: But if you want the best results, I think you've got to take some time with it right.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 23:54[UNKNOWN]: Sure.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have like more than one grant right or yourself personally?
- 23:59[SPEAKER_09]: Personally, no, so I have one.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_09]: I have one dedicated person is being with me.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_09]: She's been with me probably for about seven or eight years.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_09]: Really?
- 24:08[SPEAKER_09]: So, but I also have a lot of, because of CHPT, I have a lot of agents.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_09]: So I have a lot of AI agents that work in the business.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_09]: So I have an AI agent that runs my LinkedIn.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_09]: I have an AI agent that's my grant researcher.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_09]: So and then she oversees the agents.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_09]: And that's what helps me write grants.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_03]: What's your pair?
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: Is it VIA or?
- 24:28[SPEAKER_09]: She would be a, she's a VIA.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_09]: She gets paid like nine dollars an hour.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_09]: But she's been with me for a while.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_09]: It's $9 an hour.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_09]: But you got to think and fill a piece.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_09]: This is like, top tier money.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_09]: This is really good.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_09]: This is really good money.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: This is insane, bro.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: This is insane.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, all right.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, you are going to where then I stop you.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's say we're gonna go.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: How do we find these grants?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: Good question.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want the community you put some in there, but how do we find these great?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_09]: Good question.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_09]: So a couple different strategies that you can do.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_09]: So you can go directly to list.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_09]: Let's just say I went to wake up to a new grant alert every single day.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_09]: So I can go directly to CHPT and I can tell CHPT, hey, schedule me a task and send me a new grant every day from $1,000 to $1,000 to $1,000.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_09]: Send it to me every day by 6am Central Standard Time.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_09]: So every day at 6am Central Standard Time, you're going to get a notification from CHPT of a new grant that's out there between $1,000 and $1,000 in a million dollars, absolutely.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where you're getting these these grants for some of them.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_09]: That's live.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_09]: A lot of them I'm getting directly from chat GPT.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_09]: You also can go to chat GPT and have a conversation and just say, Hey, I have this podcast coming up.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_09]: I have this podcast coming up.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_09]: I have this podcast coming up and at the podcast, I'm and we're looking for about a million dollars in grants.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_09]: Like we need to heavily hit the the grant industry.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_09]: Tell me 10 grants that I can go a platform today.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_09]: And then to come back and it's like, go apply for this grant, go apply for that grant.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_09]: You can simplify it and say, all right, well, we're looking for grants.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_09]: Um, I just did a video for EYL and I said EYL should have a youth segment.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_09]: And if they did a youth segment at, uh, in best space, it would open up another avenue for grants.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_09]: So you could say, hey, I'm going to have a youth segment at podcasts.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_09]: Um, it's to teach you how to start their own podcasts.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_09]: And so now I can go out the grants that cater to youth.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_09]: So that's the whole other industry.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_09]: Our whole another category for me to get access to grant funding.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_09]: And with then I can think about companies and corporations.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_09]: Most major companies and corporations have grants.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_09]: Chick-fil-a has a grant.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_09]: It's called the True Inspiration Grant.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_09]: While we're sitting right here right now, they have a $6 million budget in their given one person $325,000.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_09]: Chick-fil-A, something that we keep and we pull up to every other day, while we're there, they have a grant caught the Chick-fil-A true inspiration grant.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_09]: One person, $325,000, the other will we spray it across the world, $10,000, $15,000.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_09]: But one person will get $325,000.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_09]: AT&T, they have the grant.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_09]: She's connected, Grant.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_09]: And you just have to tell them how your business is connecting to others.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_09]: So if I'm watching this and I have a podcast, how is my podcast connecting to others?
- 27:19[SPEAKER_09]: How is my coaching program connecting to others?
- 27:22[SPEAKER_09]: But how can I also connect this to AT&T and their mission and their impact?
- 27:26[SPEAKER_09]: So most major companies and corporations start books.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_09]: Sony, Bimeo, all of these companies, they have grants.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_09]: No way.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: How would I find out if Sony has a grant?
- 27:40[SPEAKER_09]: So you can, again, you can go to ChattipyT or you can go to Google and you can just say, hey, tell me about something.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_09]: You can tell me if Sony has a foundation, so there are a couple of different things you can tell me if Sony has a foundation, tell me if Sony has a giving program or
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Jack, can you tell me if Sony has a foundation?
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: A foundation?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_09]: Giving program.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_02]: A giving program.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: Or a grant.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: Or a grant that will fit by cast on it.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so let's see.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: Just a little bit.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm having a blast.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: You have no idea.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: Sure answer yes.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: So any absolutely has money programs and sponsorship pathways, but you have to approach it the right way.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: So only does have grants.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: So any operates through the Sony USA Foundation and multiple CRS programs, what they fund is education, arts, and culture technology or community impact.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: I fit in that lane.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: Typical grant range is 10,000 to 50,000.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: The catch is most of these grants are for 501c3 non-profits only, which I do have a non-profit.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, the most relevant grant program for you, Tang, is the Sony Create Action Grant Program.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: Funds, Grassroot Organizations, which that's us.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: The focus of storytelling, creativity, community impact, that's us.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: Includes funding and exposure and collaboration, but I have to be at 501c3, which I am.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, this is and it is give me a whole bunch of information about it.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: The best place for me is sponsorship.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: Go for there.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: Pitch Sony as official production partner for podcasts on it.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then we can go to non-profit partner way, then a direct grant partnership way.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_09]: So I did the work for me.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it has the links.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_09]: And they can tell you who the decision makers are like, who is my point of contact?
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: Although, I don't, I don't believe you.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_09]: Who is my, how do I send, who do I connect with in the foundation to send my, my L alive, my liter of intent or my sponsorship package to?
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, hold on, because I don't believe you.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so who will be my point of contact?
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: Who do I send the grant to?
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: Out of my contact?
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: How do I get in contact with them so that I can apply or choose one of the paths that you said I should go?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: This is
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's almost unbelievable right now.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: So Sony Electronics, LinkedIn, Sony all says, go to LinkedIn and then search Sony Electronics partnerships, Sony Alpha Marketing, Sony Creator Marketing, Manager, look for those titles.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: Alpha Universe is giving me all the paths of things that search desk,
- 30:34[SPEAKER_09]: One of our community members received a 35,000-dollar grant from LinkedIn following the same strategy.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: She went and found the decision-maker on LinkedIn, message them on LinkedIn, schedule call, and got a 35,000-dollar grant.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: This is insane.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: This is absolutely insane.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, people in telling me like, I need to get ahead of the game in terms of like, podcast, summit, like, so I can start, but I really don't be thinking about it because I don't know what to do until we're four months out, five months out.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: But this is something that I can actually implement all throughout the year for the next year.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_09]: It's very possible to get access to grant funding for podcasts Summit 2026, but my position, if I was you, would be getting access to grant funding for podcasts Summit 2027.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_09]: Because there's so many companies and corporations, and you're already going to have the data proof and the social proof of what it does and who you help and who you serve is, but also don't just focus on
- 31:34[SPEAKER_09]: Park has summit focus on social proof focus on the studio that you're building so you can say hey the studio that I have I am going to
- 31:43[SPEAKER_09]: at least one room out to a non-profit to host their meetings once a month, because not profits have to meet in person once a month.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_09]: And so you find that non-profit, but you can end out in your grant answers.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_09]: You can talk about how you're collaborating with this non-profit to help them with their mission and their impact as well.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_09]: So this is another leverage that you can put inside of your grant answers to position you for more grant funding and opportunities.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_09]: And then if you talk about youth and the kids and how you're helping you, that's another category for you to get access to grants.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_09]: So most people make the mistake of just saying, I need grants because I have a podcast.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_09]: Now you need grants because of your impact, because of the problem your podcast is going to solve and how you are the solution to the problem.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: This is so, so good, this is so good.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited about it.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: The reason you're here is because I decided to start a podcast, so did I can have engaging conversations with people.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, this video will be monetized.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'll make money off of it.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: You need to start a podcast too.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: So you can have engaging conversations.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: like this one.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: Which means you need to be a podcast summit 2026 for the price of a cheap date with somebody that you don't even like like that.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: You can learn how to start a podcast, grow your audience, build your business, or use a podcast to build your brand to build your business.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: Check this out.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_06]: The podcast summit has been nothing short of a base.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no better place to learn how to have a podcast than podcast summit.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's more than just like a podcast conference.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_06]: It's a community of people who actually want to learn and get better at entrepreneurship.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_09]: Oh my gosh.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, what do I miss?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_09]: What do I need to know next time?
- 33:19[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_09]: So we just did the, what do we do?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_09]: We did the, the $100,000 Fellowship Grant.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_09]: So let's just say, let's see if this grant is still open.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_09]: It's called the Black Brown and Collective Grant.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_09]: I believe this was for pollcasters, just for pollcasters.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_04]: Let me make sure.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_09]: Let me make sure.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_09]: The BBC, Collective.org.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: The BBC, Collective.org.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: The BBC, Collective.org.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I'd be spellin' stuff wrong.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: The BBC elective.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: The BB elective.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I said it wrong.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_09]: Sorry, BB collective.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: The BB collective.org, okay?
- 34:01[SPEAKER_09]: So they have a grant, it looks like it's for community solutions to gun balance and they are accepting proposals.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_09]: So with this particular grant, I would have to talk about what my business or my organization is doing around gun balance.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_09]: So I couldn't just say, hey, I have this podcast.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_09]: I have to talk about how my podcast is supporting gun balance.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I would do to position myself to get this
- 34:28[SPEAKER_09]: It's accepting applications.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_09]: I would answer the questions that they're asking.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_09]: Let's see if I can get through it really quick.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm currently a real doctor of program.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: I will submit all requirements for the application deadline.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_07]: And then it's just going to ask your personal information.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's four steps.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_09]: But it's just going to actually a couple of questions and when it actually a couple of questions you're just going to answer those questions you can plug each question inside of Inside of a chat GBT or you can Good on, bro.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_09]: I mean you can tell my name is your quince.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_09]: Where?
- 35:18[SPEAKER_09]: Everybody's like, where does the cake come from?
- 35:21[SPEAKER_09]: It's just, um, at my family name, everybody calls me Quina.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody could say to Quina when I was in high school.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody could say to Quina when I was in college.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_09]: And when I got a job, it was always the J or a J.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_09]: And it just got real confusing.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_09]: And so, and I hated my name growing up.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_09]: So I used to tell my mom when I go to school.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_09]: I'm changing my name and so Quina just, uh,
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then, okay, because it's Quinnus about KW and then K and then you can't close guy.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: So we're filling out the form random information and make sure you put your real information.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_09]: Put your real information, of course, your information and then you'll just answer these questions based off of where you are in your journey.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_09]: So this is a doctoral program.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_09]: Does it have to be let's see?
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: Because a lot of the questions were like, yeah, I believe this one is for a doctor or your program.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: My apologies, you guys, this one this one does one grant like per cycle or something like that.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: It for cycles.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, it looks like they do one grant per cycle.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_09]: Got it.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_09]: I believe it.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_09]: Well, maybe the deadline has came, but they did have a grant just for piecasters.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_09]: But I can go directly to CHPT and say, hey, five million list of grants.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_09]: I have a piecast or I have a business.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_09]: This is the business that I have.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_09]: Five million list of grants that I can apply for.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_09]: So I can go in.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_09]: I can say.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: HR, find me a list of grants that I can apply for, not just for podcasts, I'm it, but for the mission of helping people communicate and, you know, all that kind of stuff.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: Just give me some a list.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is so refreshing and it's so exciting and it's like another thing I got to think about what I'm doing Park.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you're doing all this this.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my gosh.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: I could borrow your V.A.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: right?
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: You can't.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_09]: I got you.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_09]: You don't want it.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: Not for one grant, but for this whole little process.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: But my question to you is you actively go after grants.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_09]: I actively go after grants.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: How often do you get grants?
- 37:26[SPEAKER_09]: probably get grants.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_09]: My last one I received was January of this year.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_09]: And the reason I haven't received any since then is because the things that I'm doing, I kind of shift in a little bit.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_09]: So I used to focus heavily on my child care center and they were.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not going to say easier to come in, they were easier to come in than the coaching program.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_09]: So with the coaching program, you just got a position yourself a little different and show the impact that I'm making.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_09]: But I'm going after companies to get grant funding to give more grants.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm going to companies and I'm asking them for grant funding for me to give more grants to my community.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I want to $100,000 in grants so I can go give 10 other entrepreneurs a grant.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: The one that you got in January, what was that?
- 38:13[SPEAKER_09]: It was $17,000.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_09]: It was a foundation grant.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_09]: So I reached out to the foundation, asked the foundation, told them what I wanted to do, told them I was having an event, and I wanted $17,000.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I wanted $10,000.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: They gave me $17,000.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't even ask, so sometimes he's companies they have a budget of what they will give and inside of your grant proposal any time you complete a grant you have to give a budget as well.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm pretty sure they gave me more money based off of the budget that I gave them.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_09]: I'm pretty sure that was the...
- 38:48[SPEAKER_09]: best the correct way to say it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_09]: So when you apply for a grant, you give a budget and inside of your budget, you tell them what you need to make your business successful.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_09]: So I can say, hey, I need $10,000 for this.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_09]: I need $5,000 for that.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_09]: And so based off of my entire budget and the budget that they have, they might have seen it fit to give me 17,000 versus.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_09]: $10,000 or $2,000 or $1,000.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: Got it, got it, got it, okay.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: And you got that grant.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: Is that just your chat, your chats, scraping internet or it was like something you saw was like, let me go after that.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_09]: That was a foundation that my virtual assistant source.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_09]: So I heavily use LinkedIn to find foundations.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_09]: And when I typically when I find these foundations, I put them inside of my community.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_09]: So my community members can go create their relationships and get the grant.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_09]: Thank God, I'm gonna keep this going.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_09]: I think, I missed out on a big grant.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_09]: So there was a big grant that I seen and I sent it to a close friend.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_09]: He has a better in-house and program in Michigan.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_09]: And I was like, I'm gonna apply for it later.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_09]: But I sent it to him.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_09]: And I was like, I'm gonna apply for it later.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_09]: He takes me in, I gave him my VA as well.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_09]: He takes me back a couple of weeks, he's like, yo, I got the grant.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_09]: I have forgotten about the grant and she didn't apply for it for me.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_09]: I have forgotten all about it.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_09]: And so when I circle back around, like, oh, let me go apply real quick, the grant was gone.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_09]: They had money left over at the end of the year that they were trying to get rid of and I missed out on that.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_09]: I missed out on it.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_09]: So I still get the client for grants.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_09]: You know, even being the expert, even being, you know, somebody that actively applies for grants, I get the client often.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, okay, so chat gave me a couple of things, national endowment for the arts grants for art projects.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good fit if you frame the work as art education, storytelling, media, and creation, youth communication, training, and community engagement in EA says,
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: Most applicants receive 10,000 to 100,000 through this program.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: Also, the national endowment for the arts, also a national endowment for arts of the arts, art education, US Department of Labor grants.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good fit if you position your work as workforce development.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, wow, the truest foundation grant.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Truest foundation grants, big and big.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, that's the open the open May 15th in the deadline as June 30th.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: What's the fastest you've got a grant or seen a grant come from application to in my account?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_09]: One of my community members, his name is Mike.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_09]: He received a granite three days.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_09]: three days.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_09]: I've never seen that before before.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_09]: He was the first person that received a grain in three days.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_09]: I've seen it in a couple of weeks.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_09]: Miss Emma, it took her a year to get two grants for $500,000.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_09]: But it just kind of depends because it's happening.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: What is your tummy?
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think you told me about it.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_09]: I think I told you.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: You told me about it.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_09]: But here's a grant that they didn't tell you about, so your city is state when people think about grants, they miss over their city and state.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_09]: Your city and state, they have money right there in your back door.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_09]: So the city of Atlanta, they have a $50,000 grant and it's called the Small Business Improvement Green.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_09]: So I could tell them that, hey, I have this studio that I'm building out.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: Because it says renovations, signage, storefront upgrades.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: Can you have your, okay, can you have your people?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: I got you.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: You got me?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's done.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's a deal.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yo, look, when we get this Friday, you're coming back on here.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: So, people can say, I remember when they talked about it and it acts, oh my gosh.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_09]: So, they're giving you money to do commercial property improvements.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_09]: Home Depot has a grant.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_09]: It's said they give up to $500,000.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_09]: Now with this grant, you have to be servicing, disable veterans, and you also have to be a nonprofit.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_09]: But all of these companies, they have grants.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, it's money out there just waiting on entrepreneurs to take, not entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations just to take action.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, I made you Quentin.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_09]: I made you Quentin.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_09]: I made you Quentin.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_09]: I made you Quentin.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you are in trouble.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_02]: You got me like excited and I'm thinking about this for you know, I talk to a lot of entrepreneurs okay.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean my whole audience of people in my whole community are entrepreneurs.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: And this is a game changer because some people maybe they're selling t-shirts and you know many t-shirts you got to sell to make 10 grand versus let me like make this impact and you know kind of map this out and just take the time I think it just takes time to sit down and and I'm trying to believe that it's not as easy as it sounds but I don't I don't see how especially
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: The, like, the whole chat GPT and AI.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: because you don't have to like figure out the best story.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: Because it helps you.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_09]: I will say this.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_09]: When it comes to Chad, you'd be too, you do have to be cautious with grants, right?
- 44:01[SPEAKER_09]: So I have a quick three step strategy of what I do and how I educate.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_09]: So the first thing you have to do is you have to teach.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_09]: You have to teach AI about your business.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_09]: So if you don't teach it about podcast, if you don't teach it about your business, it won't give you the best answers and response.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_09]: So go to it and type this prompt in and say, hey, I'm getting ready to apply for grants.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_09]: and ask me a list of questions so you understand more about me.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_09]: And it's going to act you 60 questions about 60 questions.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_09]: So it can understand are you a for-profit nonprofit?
- 44:29[SPEAKER_09]: You use CHPT pretty often so it already had a lot of your information inside.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_09]: But it's going to act you, are you hosting an event?
- 44:37[SPEAKER_09]: What are your goals?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_09]: Who is your target audience?
- 44:39[SPEAKER_09]: Then the next thing you have to do is you have to train CHPT to actually do the job.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_09]: So you can go into, go inside and say act as a certified grant writer with over 10 years of experience in a 98% success rate.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_09]: Your job is going to be to help me apply for and give it the grant.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_09]: So you're telling it's to do the job of a grant writer to strengthen your answers and make it response.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_09]: and make it a better response.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_09]: And the next thing you do is just test it out.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_09]: Just continue to use it, continue to grow with it.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_09]: Make sure that you're always incorporating new things that you're learning about the grant process and feeding that information in.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_09]: So if you go to my, if you're in the community and you learn something, go to chat and say, hey, chat, I was just in this community and I learned this, let's make sure we incorporate this inside of our answers moving forward.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_09]: So you teach you trying your tests to get the best response.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we don't have a whole lot of time and I wish we started earlier, but I need I need to be a part of community.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I need like my my log it can my assistant be in it.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: So, so how you all you need to meet me in the community because this is a skill is 47 bucks.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: 27 bucks.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_09]: $47.47 to be a part of this program.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_09]: $47 for me to teach you.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_09]: I do live Q&A calls.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_09]: I have experts coming in and talk to you about different strategies.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_09]: I give you the grants to talk to a platform every single day.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_09]: One of our community members, Mary, paying $47.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_09]: She got $600,000 in grants as a child care.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: Bring Mary on here on the pie next time.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_09]: Mary is in your program as well.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_09]: No.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_09]: She's, um, what's Mary's last name?
- 46:15[SPEAKER_09]: It starts with the E. Um, she has a child care center.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_09]: She lives in, um, pencil, they, I think.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_09]: I'll see you here.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_09]: I'll see you here.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, she's in.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_09]: She's in.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_09]: She's a year program as well.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: Mary, why don't you tell us about Coach K. You know, yeah, this is insane.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to drop a link to the community in the description.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: Meet me in there, y'all.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Cause this is like I can't.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: My gosh, this is really going to be my whole strategy for podcast on it, um, even moving into next year, but I want to start right now so that we can just kind of get in the game.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: This was fun.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: The whole thing.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: Because we actually have, we have the nonprofit and we have a real mission and nobody in the world can deny
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: what's happening in the podcast and space.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I know a lot of schools are starting to wanna implement in their schools so that kids can learn communication, learn camera, media, all that kind of stuff.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: This is incredible, this is incredible.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_02]: I know there's a lot more that we can talk about, but just leave the audience with some words of wisdom, some encouragement, because I haven't been too excited at all.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'll be with this.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_09]: We have two youth entrepreneurs inside of our community that have received grants.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_09]: One is 10 years old.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_09]: She pitched her business.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_09]: She trained A.R.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_09]: to be her pitch coach to prepare her to pitch.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_09]: She wanted $10,000 grant.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_09]: We have another 15-year-old who secured his first grant using an average thing, leveraging the information inside of the community.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_09]: So my advice to you is, or my word of wisdom, is if we have youth that are locking in on this information, we'll share excuse.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: What's your excuse?
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: It was my 15 year old daughter of this, Corey, listen to me.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_05]: You guys saw it earlier.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: You got this, I believe you don't wait around here, okay?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: And she's got to learn this for a minute.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not buying your car, okay?
- 48:15[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you get your license.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: You might get these grand, so you're buying your car.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: Coach Kay, thank you, thank you.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, this is so amazing.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: You are doing some amazing work in the world.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I believe a community of 7,000 people, you have to be servicing them.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_02]: It does, communities don't grow like that.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: Unless there's something super valuable in it, it's gold in there.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: And now I finally see, I understand.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: why you're doing all the things that you're doing.

- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I want some more.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_09]: So I'll say this three years ago, or a little bit over two and a half years ago, I was working for Wells Fargo.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_09]: I was actually fired into freedom, but what you see today and how I'm here today is just the result of believing in my vision, but most importantly, not giving up.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_09]: So I locked in on my dreams, locked in on my goals and when things got tough, things got challenging, I kept going and I didn't give up.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_09]: So if you're listening to this right now, maybe you're not sure what your journey is, what your path is,

- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: Go build something built.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: It really, really big.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_02]: But come back to your community and teach them all the things that you learn.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's the only way our community grows.
