- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone and welcome again.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: So thankful and grateful that you have tuned in to the Bread of Life.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: This podcast segment is really gonna be about how to rely on the source and not the circumstance.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Information too, like on how things take place in this life and how we need to deal with the strategies that the enemy throws at us and how to live and walk this life, um, this Christian life, in a manner that God called it to, with confidence and victory and success from his power.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Before I go though, that's say a prayer, okay?
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And we'll get started on this bread of life that again only God can provide, and Jesus himself, because he is a true bread.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: And this is something that will fill us, this appetizer, this morsel of spiritual awakening and growth that we need to endure and experience together.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: So thank you again for tuning into that.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: But please bow your heads with me as we begin.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this moment.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Thank you for those listening.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I thank you so much for wherever they are at, whatever part of the world, whatever city, whatever state, country, doesn't matter.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: I thank you that their heart is open and their mind and ears are receptive, and I pray they are.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: I pray that you use me and speak to me as I read these words, these words of the day, these scriptures, information that you have put in my heart, knowledge that you've given me, words of paraphrase from other pastors.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Either way, it does not matter, it's from you in truth that you have collected and gathered for me to share with others.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And I pray, Lord God, it just changes them and helps them and grows them to know you in truth intimately.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: And I ask that in Jesus' name.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: We pray, amen.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: So again, we were talking about relying on the source.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: We rely on the source, not our circumstances.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: First thing that we have to understand is our enemy.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Our enemy is definitely, definitely made to cause delay in our lives, so to speak.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And also just to destroy us.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: That is his thing, his tactic.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: The Bible tells us clearly that we need to put on the whole armor of God.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And we have a spiritual warfare that we deal with.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: There's tactics that the enemy uses.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: There must be ability, and the ability to overcome the strategy that Satan uses is, to our knowledge, is proportionate to that, to the word of God.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: If anyone's trying to fight off Satan without knowing the word, it's like running into battle without a sword, without any armor, without any ammo, so to speak, right?
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: If you want to overcome Satan, you must read the Bible, you must learn the Bible, meditate on the Bible, and memorize the Bible.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Meaning, memorize words in Scripture to overcome the things that are thrown at you and the strategies that he tries to cause you to rely on yourself because your circumstances have been damaged, so to speak, and you don't know what to do.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: But the Lord tells us to do something opposite of that.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Opposite of that.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: We have to be ruled by the world, the word of God.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: We have to resist the stirring up temptation.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: We have to keep humble, keep a constant guard, and continue to commune with the Lord.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Something that we have to do, we should do.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Very important.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: If you look at scripture, 1 Peter 5.8, John 8.44, James 4.7, and so on, and it'll explain to us ways to resist.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: 1 Peter 5.8 says, be sober-minded and be watchful.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whoever he can devour.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Christians need to be spiritually vigilant, watching for attacks from the devil, the enemy, our opponent, right?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Well, Peter uses the graphic image of a lion to describe how the destructive power that Satan tries to use, his threat, like he prowls around seeking someone to devour, hoping that believers will be terrified in their hardship, their circumstances, persecutions, or that they will be deceived and fall into sin.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Though the devil may threaten to devour Christians, nonetheless, we have assurance that we will be guarded by God's power.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And that's 1 Peter 5:5.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: God's power.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: That's a thing that we have to address and understand.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: We must be aware of those things.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Be watchful.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Be very watchful.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: That brings me to again what we need here.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I'm relying on the source and not the circumstance, right?
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Every need we have is an invitation to trust God's faithful provision.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: No matter what the enemy is doing, no matter what things may be going on around us in this world or even our thinking, as I talked about the podcast previous to this, we have to realize and trust God and his faithful promises and provision.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: What we're going to be uh diving into in the word will be from 1 Kings 17, 8 through 16.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And I'll read these scriptures that I outline with you as we go on with this podcast and our moment together.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And I'll read each scripture and verse and each thing that we read as the word of the day goes through each topic or thing and subject we're talking about.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: So again, as I said before, it's from 1 Kings 17 through verses 18 through 16.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: It said yesterday, okay, I sent the word, we saw that God can use ordinary means or remarkable methods to supply our needs.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Through the Lord's unusual ways, Elijah had learned to live by faith.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: For example, the time he'd been fed ravens, now God was sending him to Xerapath, to a starving widow with no resources to feed him.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Every financial need is an opportunity to learn to walk by faith.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Recognizing the Lord is our source.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Prosperity can lead to a sense of independence that blinds us to how inadequate we really, really are, and we actually are to provide for ourselves.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: We're totally dependent upon the Father.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Whether we recognize it or not.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Believing God would provide, just like what Elijah had to do, he witnesses miraculous intervention.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: We may not see the Lord perform a supernatural work in our situation.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: However, we can be sure that just as God fulfilled his promise to Elijah, he'll likewise be faithful to his word in our circumstance, supplying all our needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus, which is Philippians 4.19.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: And I'll read Philippians 4 later.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Are you focusing, though?
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Is the question I want to ask you.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Are you focusing on the source of your provision or the vehicle by which he provides?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: I'm going to ask you again.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: Are you focusing on the source of your provision or the vehicle by which he provides?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: The means God uses may change, but his faithfulness, his promises, they endure forever.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: I know the Lord is inviting you, inviting me to trust him and to live in both the adventure and security of life of faith.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: And I know it's difficult because I struggle with that sometimes.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: The trusting, the letting go of worry, the looking at the bank account and saying, Man, am I negative or am I when am I going to get out of the negative, man?
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Or man, I only have this much money for gas.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: How am I going to get here and there when I'm very capable and I make enough money to be able to do things, but things happen, and I'm like, I just don't understand.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Well, that's showing me in this moment of life, this temporary moment of life, that I have to trust the Lord, that He does provide it.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And He shall supply all my needs.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: That's what the Word says.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: That's what the Word says.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm His.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: I gotta test that.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: And maybe that's why I go through certain things in life.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Like, and maybe we all do, whoever's listening, you know, we we get tested with things in this life.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: To see where our faith is, right?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: To see if what I truly speak, seeing at church, what I truly speak and read and pray about is going to come to pass.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: It's true.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Faith without works is dead.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So things need to be tested.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And there's a test, I can't, I don't, it just comes.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: So I know that's God.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: And we have to really be aware of that.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Your mind has to be aware that thinking, like I said in the last podcast, you must be fully aware of that, intentional, intentionality, knowing that, man, this is something that God's doing because you know what?
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be elevated.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: The things I prayed for are coming closer than I thought, they're coming sooner than I expected.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I need to really be ready.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And the Lord is showing and seeing, are you ready to receive what I have for you?
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Or are you gonna squander it like the people the rest of the people in the world do?
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: That hurts his heart.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: I don't want to hurt his heart.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Doesn't that feel bad to you?
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: I'm not asking you these questions, like seriously.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Like when you hurt someone's heart, does that feel bad to you?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: It feels bad to me.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: When I hurt someone intentionally, or not even intentionally, I just made a decision and a choice, and I didn't be better in that situation.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: And I end up hurting their heart.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: No, and you know, and and I feel bad afterwards.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Like I'm like, man, I probably shouldn't have done that.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: I don't want to do that again.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see that person cry.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see their face look saddened or disappointed because I didn't do something or say something I should have done.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: I don't want that, I don't want to be that way anymore.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Like, and that have that has that's God.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: I I shouldn't do certain things, even though I don't see him.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: That's irrelevant.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: And I shouldn't be doing certain things.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: If I call myself a Christian, then I need to be aware of the things I'm doing and how I'm walking and how I'm living and how I'm speaking, right?
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: I need to be different than others.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I need to make sure I'm not cursing.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: And if I do, I need to repent.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: I need to make sure that my thinking is in the right way.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I need to put on the full armor of God, the Lord says to do.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: And I need to have better thinking, and then I need to have the things that come out of my mouth and my mind, out of my heart, good things, edifying things, encouraging things, not things that tear down and slander someone.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: The Lord is not having that.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: If you read Galatians 5, it explains to you thoroughly, even in 1 Peter, like it explains to you what the Lord will allow and what he does not.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you, if he does not allow that, and if you are participating and practicing such things, you will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: So what does that mean?
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Your inheritance is not there, it's somewhere else.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be that individual that I pray never to be.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: And those that are listening, I pray for you not to be.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: That you can be there with me at the party.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: I want to be at that banquet, man, when the doors are open and I'm marching through in my robe that the Lord presented for me, and I have a crown that he's waiting to give me and present to me, an award.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: And then he sits there and says, Come, join, enjoy the fruit, enjoy the fruits of your labor.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Come, my son.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Well done, good and faithful servant.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Hey, bask with the Lord and his glory and have fun and eat this great food.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Man, I can just imagine the food there and the wine that he will present that all of us will drink at the supper.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: That's pretty cool.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: That's what the word says.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: So I hope for that, right?
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: And I need to think more on that.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: So if you're struggling, those that are listening, with relying on the source, and you're more concerned about your circumstance.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And if you're struggling, I understand you.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: But you have to do your part by renewing your mind.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: You have to do your part by, like I said earlier, staying intentional in the word, staying intentional with reading, praying, meditating, confessing.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: I know that those that are listening, I know you have time to spend time with the Lord.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: You are not consumed every day.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: You literally can wake up early and get your day going and get on your knees and give God thanks.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Open the Bible, speak, read a scripture or two, say a prayer that took you 10, 15 minutes.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: You can do that in the shower, the restroom.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: I don't care where you're at.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: We have no excuse.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: People want to say, I got no time, man, to do this.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, you do.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: You literally were bathing yourself in the shower.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: You have plenty of time.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: You could have had scripture in the shower, stapled up there.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: They make so many things nowadays.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: You can have stuff in the shower, you can have things in their bathroom, counter, wind, you know, mirror, everywhere.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: You have no excuse.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: You need to get your mind focused and you regiment into that level.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Routine.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Discipline.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Very important.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: I'm going to read you Philippians 4.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: That's what we were talking about earlier, the other scripture.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Then we're going to go back to the other words that we're going to discuss here.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: But and you can go on and read 1 Kings as well in your time.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: But I'm going to read Philippians 4.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: One of my favorite scriptures here.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: Chapters.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: But we'll go on to say this.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Therefore, my beloved, and long for brethren, my joy and crown.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: So stand fast in the Lord.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I implore, and he talks about the different cities, Uaidea, Cynthia Sea, and all these different cities.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: But in the same mind in the Lord, I urge you also, my true companion, talks about the women there and who they are that live in Philippi.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: I urge you, help these women who labor with me in the gospel, with my fellow workers, and he names them in the book of life.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: So he but he says this in verse 4 as we go down rejoice in the Lord always.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Again I say, rejoice.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Let your gentleness be known to all men.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: The Lord is at hand.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Be anxious for nothing.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication and thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: So on the thinking, because I talked about this before in my previous podcast with Colossians 3 and Philippians 4, but here is a read again, Philippians 4.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, just pure, whatever things are lovely and that are good report.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: If there any virtue in these things and praiseworthy, meditate on these things.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Meditate on these things.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: And it goes further on to scripture in verse 13, as I like, hey, uh one scriptures I like, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: And finally, as we talk about verse 19, and my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory through Christ Jesus.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: I know things are in different contexts because that back then what they were needing, and the the church that was struggling, so to speak, until Paul came through and then and prayed and helped with the church and the women there.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: And I understand the history behind it and Philippi and how the struggles were.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: But they had to be encouraged.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: But you need to be encouraged even today.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: And understand this, what I just said and what I just read to you.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: If you are a child of God, which you consider yourself to be, and you believe in Jesus Christ through faith, you believe in him, and you confess that.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm gonna tell you, these things apply to you.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: It tells you to rejoice.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Let your gentleness be known.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: It says for you, as an order, like a command that a commanding officer would give to his soldiers hey, be anxious for nothing.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Let your gentleness be known.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: Rejoice always.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: I'm giving you these orders.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Be anxious for nothing, but what you need to do is this instead.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And let God's peace be with you after you do these things, after you give thanks for what he's done already in your life, after you have prayed the things that you have prayed for.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: You have to tell thank you, Lord, though you've done this already for my life.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: I'm anxious about this and that.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: I need this, but you said you supply all my needs.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: And you said not to be anxious for anything, but to thank you, because I thank you then for what you've done already, and I thank you for what you will do.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: And that is where we need to walk in through faith.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm hoping for.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: I don't see it yet, but I'm gonna thank you for it.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: You put it in my heart.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's good.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: And mind you, I know in those listening, anything God puts in your heart that's good, it does not contradict his word.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: So you can't be sitting there saying that girl that you met at the strip club is good.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: I prayed for that.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, she's gonna be my lady.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not saying that.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm not I'm not I'm not saying to go and go get himself in debt, you know, because you prayed and the Lord just told you to go do that.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: That's what you feel.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not telling you that.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: You need to wait on the Lord.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: The Lord will not contradict his word, he will not allow you to go through things that are gonna cause stress to you.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: You can make your own choice and do it, mind you.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: That's free will.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: But I'm letting you know the things of the Lord, the path is easy.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: You won't toil.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: And your mind won't toil, and you won't be with somebody that makes you toil.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: The Lord has a pathway and uh plan for you, as he said in his word in Jeremiah.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: He knows what he has for you.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: You must follow that and seek him diligently.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: People think our God is not able, and that is highly like false.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: But there's another word I want to say that in comparison to that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: That's not true.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Our God is very able, you just don't see certain things, and maybe it's because of your relationship with the Lord, or maybe it's because you may be living in sin, maybe it's because you know your motives aren't good and clean that you're praying for.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's a heart issue that you have, and you need to let go of some unforgiveness and some things that are keeping you.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: And if you're in a relationship, husband, wife, check this out, wife, or check this out, husband.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: If you are mean to your spouse, the Lord will not hear from you.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Just letting you know.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: And you can look that up.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: You can say, Oh, scripture that says God won't hear from my prayers if I'm mean to my wife or husband, bing, it will come up.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna let you do that, those that are listening.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: That's homework for you.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna give you everything today, right?
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: You gotta do some work yourself.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: There's no lazy carnal Christians here.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Hey, we're all about meat, we're all about getting this, physical fitness, spiritual fitness, right?
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: That's what we gotta be about.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: As much as If I as much as I yearn for and and want other things in my life, I need to be more serious about the word of God because see, I'm gonna meet him one day.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: All of us are, and we're gonna be judged by the things we have done, good or bad.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: That's what the word says.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: So best believe that's gonna happen.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: So I don't have a good past, and I know the Lord's forgiving me, but I tell you what, the things that I know better of and I still have done, ooh-wee.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: And that's one thing I kind of dread, you know, and I'm like, well, I need to, how do I make things better in this life?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: What should I really need to do intentionally?
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: And I need to live for the Lord.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: How does that look?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Well, I need to let go of some things.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: The old man would have liked this, I would have liked that, and talk that way, watch this, listen to that.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: But when your new creation, as the word the Lord says, a new creation, all things are gone away, behold, things become new when you're in Christ.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Well, that tells me I need to focus on things that are gonna feed my mind and my spirit, my soul.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: My thing, what is gonna feed positive things, good things?
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Well, the word of God, because that's instructions, basic instructions that everyone knows, basic instructions before leaving earth.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: So the instructions, the inspiration to scripture, that's gonna help me live a life that's full of corruption in the world and sensuality and perversity and murder and violence, and do whatever you want to do, like the days of Noah.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: It's very interesting how this is, right?
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: So maintain yourself through this, how to dip and dodge these bullets.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: That is the armor of God.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: It's spiritual.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: We don't wrestle against flesh and blood.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: It's Ephesians 6 says that we don't wrestle against flesh and blood.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: We wrestle against principalities, against rulers of darkness, wickedness, rulers in heavenly places, right?
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: And realms that they shouldn't be.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: That's in politics and government, that's in the church, that's in your friendly neighborhood, right?
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Anything you can think of, man, it's there.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: You see it.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: We gotta fight against it.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: I want to please my children, of course I do.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: But I gotta, I I I care more about their soul than anything.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: So if they're gonna be watching something they shouldn't, I'm gonna cut that off.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: I need to.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: I need to be more intentional about that.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: I think not gonna happen.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: You're gonna cry.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Oh well, it's mine.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: You can't watch that.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: This is.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: But you can watch instead.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: If you can't do that, I'm taking that.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Like I have to guard their soul.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: They don't know any better.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And the world is trying to take them.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: The devil, the prince of this air, he rules in darkness here.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: But he does not overcome the light, nor can he, nor will he.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Jesus did it all.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: That's why he has the power.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Yeshua.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Believe in that.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: You don't have to believe in other things.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Other things are false.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: All the other gods, no other, no other religion and gods have raised, been raised.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Died for their people and was raised again.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: And historical documents just prove that.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: No other.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Seek the Lord while he can be found.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: That is very important.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: He is able.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: And why?
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Because Jesus, he is our greatest example.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: The greatest example of unwavering trust in the Father through every circumstance.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Every circumstance.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Relying on that source and not the circumstance.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: So I know he's unwavering through every circumstance.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: Ephesians 3 20 through 21, as I read later, says that.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Jesus knew what it meant to have limited financial resources, to have those closest to him question his actions and to be rejected by those he sought to serve.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: That's in the book of Matthew and Mark and John.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Yet, in spite of such opposition, he didn't let circumstances affect his trust in the Father.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: As I tell you the story today, I'm reading this to you.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: We're called to follow Jesus' example by believing that God is able to do whatever he promised.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: And as an example, for instance, I'll give you from Hebrews 7.25 that assures salvation for whoever comes to God through Jesus.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: The Father will pardon everybody who has genuine faith in his son and will make each one a new creation.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: No matter what trouble a person may have caused, the Lord invites him or her to draw near in faith and receive the gift of everlasting life.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: God also promises to establish in truth everyone who trusts in him.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Through his word and spirit, we start to see things as our Father does, which helps us understand what pleases him.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: By believing that God keeps his promises, we grow stronger in our faith and gain peace.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Philippians, remember I read that.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Hardship that would once have thrown us off course lose their power.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Hope replaces discouragement and trust overcomes doubt.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Next time trouble comes, focus on God's promises and ability to care for you.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: You have to see that for who he is, what he can do.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: And be reminded of what he's done for you in the past.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: As I told you about Philippians 4, talk about rejoicing, being anxious for nothing, knowing that, hey, I can do all things through Christ.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to pray and he's going to give me peace about it.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to work on not thinking about it so much and worrying about it so much and toiling over it so much.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: The Lord knows my heart and my needs.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: And if it's meant for me, I'm going to, it's going to happen.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: He's going to open the door for me.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: It's going to, opportunity is going to come, the grace is going to come, the strength that I need is going to come because I'm so tired and I don't know how I'm going to do it.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Like all these things are going to take place in a way that you can even imagine.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: That's why we must trust in him.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: He prayed for things.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: He knows our heart.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Our intentions need to be right.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: They need to be right.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: Can't be thinking about, oh, I'm going to get money so I can go to the strip club.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: You can't be, you know, think about it.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: I'm going to get this ride so I can look flossy and pick up all the women and all the men I need.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: The pride of life, worldly stuff.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Hey, listen, there's nothing wrong with having nice things.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: The Lord blessed us with that, okay?
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: But we can't have those things have us.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: We can't let those things take over our heart and our us, us, you know?
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: We can't operate that way.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Hey, if someone sees me driving an escalate and be like, hey, man, how'd you get that escalate?
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Hey, listen, I prayed for it.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: And the Lord gave it to me in my heart because he knew I'm going to meet people.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: They're going to like the vehicle or I'm going to use it for whatever purpose that he has for me to use it for.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Or for my family when we go to places that we have more room and luxury, so to speak, right?
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Because we're heaven sent.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: But it doesn't mean it takes me over.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: And we'll let you know that he blessed me with it.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: And that's that.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: Can't be worrying about it.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Money can't worry about it.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: It's a tool, it's a need that happens, right?
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: It's something that is a useful resource, but it has to be God over money.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: That's how you need to be.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: I enjoy it, but I can't let money take me over.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: I pray about so many things because we're going through, oh, I need this, I need that, I need that.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: God knows, man.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: Cool.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to pray about it.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: I'm going to leave it in his hands.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: And it says to trust him in faith.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It says in the word, too, only way to please God is through faith.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, I can't forget that.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Only way to please God is through faith.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Well, obviously, too, is how you live.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: But let me tell you too, faith.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: That means that he said he's going to do what he's going to do when he does it.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: You need to know that he will.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: Trust in that, hope in that.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And if your life should show that, the fruit of it.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: And if it does not show that, that means that maybe you're walking in a different light.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: Not so much light, maybe a dim darkness.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: That you need to change.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need to repent.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need to be better in your ways.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Maybe be aware of those thoughts that come and capture them, like my buddy was telling me today.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: I love by by, you know, not to side note, but I want to give a shout out.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: I want to give a shout out to the two jujitsu gyms that I attend.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: I've been doing jujitsu for some years now, and I'm grateful for it.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: But one of them, Gracie's, where I attend to now, but the other one, my home, my life too, that I love, um, is Aries.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Aries here in uh Mesa.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, we have a fellowship time that we have on Saturdays in the morning early.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: And I got to be around, you know, three or four different black belts and got to fight them, and other brothers come in too, but mainly it was them.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: I fought three of them.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: I fight three of them.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, we sit there and we we fight, but then after we're done fighting, we pow wow, we pray, and we talk about situations and circumstances in our life as men.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: And it's such an honor and a treat to be around these men, these warriors, to see them be the way they are in vulnerability and to see their heart.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: And so I'm very grateful for them, all of them.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: All of y'all.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Y'all know who you are.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: I love y'all.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: But again, God puts people in your life and your path to grow you, as Proverbs 27, 17.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: Hey, iron is one, iron sharpens the other.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: That's how it is with God and with us, each other.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Iron sharpens iron.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: So one does for another.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: A man of God.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: We build each other up, pray for each other, hold each other accountable.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: These are the things that we should do.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Our God is able.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Ephesians 3, 20 through 21 says this.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: To him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and forever.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: Matthew 8 20, Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Nowhere.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: So every time he went somewhere, at times, there'll be places that Jesus cannot lay his head, but yet he was doing work like you could not believe and saving souls.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: And even he didn't have a place to lay his head, but he still, and that's a circumstance you can think, like, man, what is that?
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't want that.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but he relied on God's goodness in his ways.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: He had peace.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: And God provided.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: No matter where you're at, he provided that comfort for you.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: So if Jesus had to go through that, okay?
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Like, think about it.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: We can't forget this.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Jesus went through some stuff, man.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: And that was because he was considered, he's considered God's son, right?
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: And the one who died for us.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: So he went through some stuff, man.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: Like he had to he had to go through that.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: People disrespected him.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: They didn't listen to him.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: He didn't have a place to rest his head, right?
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: There's all these things that happened.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: And he could have easily said, Lord, make it happen now.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And he could have.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: But he chose to be like a man would be without things.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: How would they reply to?
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: How would they respond?
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: How would this be?
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: How would I feel if people just rejected me, man?
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: Who would I rely on?
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: And not my circumstances, because these people are rude.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: And I have no place to lay my head and they don't care.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: And when I come in their town, they think I'm crazy and they tell me to go away.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Man.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Rely on God.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: Mark 3 21.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: When his own people heard of this, they went out to take custody of him, for they were saying, He has lost his senses.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: They were trying to hurt him and kill him, man.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: Speaking a word of truth.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: They didn't like that.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: His own people, man.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: You see that?
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: That's what I mean.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: John 6, verses 66 to 67.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: As a result of this, many of his disciples were drew and were not walking with him anymore.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: So Jesus said to the twelve, You do not want to go away, also, do you?
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Because all these other people are.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: What's up with you guys?
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: And even when they, oh, not really abandoned him, but they did, like in the Garden of Gethsemane, when he was praying to the Lord to ask him to remove that cup from him, that he's going to have to go and go through a horrific death.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: And he was praying, and blood driplets were coming out of his head of stress so much of praying.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: And he's like, why isn't everybody else praying with me?
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: And then he would go and see his disciples and they're sleeping, chilling, doing what humans do.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: I'm done, I'm good.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: I don't, I'm tired.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: When he asked him to pray for him, you know.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: He still did it though.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: Faithful.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Didn't matter the circumstance, he still relied on the Father.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: Hebrews 7 25.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Therefore, he is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through him.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: Near to God through Jesus, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: People need to understand that.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: He makes intercession for us.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: They don't realize that it's a judgment, is imagine court, heavenly courts, and you're in front of the judge.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: And there's the defendant.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: And there's the prosecution.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: So the persecutor, the accuser, is Satan.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: And the one that's defending you, the mediator, is Jesus.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: And he's telling them, he's vouching for us while the accuser is trying to put us down.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: Remember that.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Remember too that if 2 Corinthians 5.17, if anyone is in Christ, they, he, she, are a new creature, a new creation.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: The old things passed away, and behold, new things have come and become new.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Become new.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: And why?
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: Because now to him who's able to establish you, according to my gospel, Romans 16.25, Paul's saying, and the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: But he's able to establish you now.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: The word says that.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: And he did, and he has.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: And believe that, take heed to that.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: Hold fast to that, these things that are written.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Try not to pass to look past this.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: Faith again, as I've said before in my other podcast, but and even those that know about faith.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: The definition of that is it's the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: It's something I hope for.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: I hope for the return of Christ.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: I hope to see Christ.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: I've never seen him, but man, I know that he's there.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: He's like, I hope to see that.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: It's what I hope for.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: It's the substance of things hope for.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: I don't see the evidence yet, but I know it's there.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna hold fast to that.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: I know he's there because I've prayed and I've prayed for others and I've seen miracles work for other people's lives, man.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: I've seen prayers answered.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: I've seen things happen that I just it blew my mind, and I couldn't believe it.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: I could not believe it.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: And that's all it took was a prayer.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: And then the Bible says in scripture the prayer of the righteous availeth much.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: I believe that.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: All things are spent.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: We can't depend on nothing else but Christ, people.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Those that are listening in the spirit, you cannot, if you are a Christian, you must walk these ways.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: There are terms and conditions in this life that you must abide by.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: And if you do not abide by them, then you are out of the will of God.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: You have to understand that.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: And you have to realize that things aren't going to go the way you want them to, the way you think they should.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: You have to depend on the one that created you.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: He's not going to allow things to take over, replace him.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: He's a jealous God.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: The word says that he's not going to allow things to just keep going on for a certain period of time without consequences and repercussions.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: It's just not going to happen.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: He loves you too much.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: And those that are his are his.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: And he knows who are his, his sheep.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: And those that are not, the goats, they'll be separated.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: And unbelievers, he definitely is not going to hear from you.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: One must turn their ways.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: You can't sit there and it's like you're going to go to court or go someplace, right?
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: That's nice and fancy, and you show up with like dirty rags.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Like your shirt literally is like torn.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: Your pants are torn and ripped and nasty.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: And then you're going to ask to be seated into this one beautiful place or to be heard by this prestige judge in this beautiful courtroom.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: And you really think he's gonna pre-he's gonna listen to you.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: Get his son as your lawyer, and let him dress you up and make you whiter than snow.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: And then he will present you.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: And you will be sanctified and saved, right?
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: Sanctification is a process, but you will be saved because of Christ.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Whiter than snow.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: Your garments are white and clean.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: He finds no fault upon you.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: That's how it needs to be.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Picture that.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Because everything that we're doing that's not with him, it's filthy rags.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: It means nothing.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: It makes us feel good though.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: It sure does.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: But only for a period of time.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Eventually things are gonna give in.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: Eventually gonna come to your senses, and eventually things are gonna reality is gonna hit.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: Then what?
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: That being said, if you need prayer, I would love to pray for you.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: Send an email bread of life with jj at gmail.com.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: The bread of life with jj at gmail.com.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: Whatever you're going through.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: Here, we here at the studio, and we'll definitely say a prayer for you.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: And if you're a woman and you want to reach out, my wife, I'll send that information to her so she can reach out to you, and we can all pray together, whatever that may be.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: But just know you're not alone.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: Know that there's there's people out there that care that will go to battle for you.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: You don't have nothing to worry about, nothing to be ashamed.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: God is good and he loves you.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Two or more gathered, he's there amongst us, right?
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: So I hope and pray that that's the same here.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: It's a wonderful time.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: I feel it's a great moment to be able to speak and be able to share things with those listening and be able to share the word of God to you and to express my experiences and what the Lord puts in my heart, the things that I read, the things that mean a lot to me.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: And I like to share that with you all.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: And it's really a great thing that you tuned in and are interested in that.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: And I really hope and pray that it helps you grow to be closer to the Lord.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: That's what matters.
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: All this other stuff doesn't matter.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: Like Solomon talked about, and I was talking about earlier before with a good buddy of mine.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: Um, Ecclesiastes, like, it talks about that.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: All this stuff is meaningless.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: What matters is God in my relationship with him.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: And that's truly it.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: He is your first love.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: Don't forget the excitement that you felt when you met him for the first time again, when you when you fell in love with him and he just showed you a new way of creation when you gave your life over to him or when you're baptized by him.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: Don't forget that.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: That's a beautiful thing to be in a family.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're going through things in life in different levels and different areas, but we are gonna be okay.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: We have a promise, see, we have we have something to hold on to that the Bible says that we're gonna be at with and who that time comes.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: But while we're on earth, we must endure, we must stand fast and endure to the end and must be faithful.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: We must practice and learn these fruits and these work up of life to experience and growth and all these different things that we do in life.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Like it's amazing, but it's temporary, it's building us up to being what God created us to be.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: We got to let the process happen and not slow it down.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: And the way we slow it down is by getting involved and getting into it or just saying, God, I got this, you know, and we really don't.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: We push along things further and further.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: And then get mad and say, Man, God, not listen to me, man.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: What why?
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: I said, Man, come on, man.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: He's always there.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: Like you read it, we just push him away, literally.
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and that hurts his heart.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: I want to push, I don't I have kids.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be pushed away.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: My kids, my kids push me away when I'm showing them something how they can be better, and they push me away, man.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: That hurts my heart, man.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: And then I gotta watch them fail.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: And then they start crying, and I come over there and console them.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: I say, see, it's okay.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: But now let's do it like this way.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: Let's do it this way now, so you can be better.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: I can't come at them like this, you stupid.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: No, that's the devil.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: There's a difference.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Patience, fruits of the spirit.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: We have to be loving and calm, the way the God, the way our Father, God, Yahweh, true God, Eroniah, Elohim, the way our God, Yahweh, Jesus, Yeshua, the way that he wants us to be, is loving, kind, patient.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: Listen to my podcast, uh, you know, and read it yourself, Galatians 5.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: But I went through that.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: The fruits of the Spirit.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: That's how he wants us to be, and we need to grow those things and cultivate those fruits in our life day by day.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: Intentional.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: If you don't water your fruits, they go bad, right?
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: If you if you have a tree that has fruit and you don't water it in the way you need to, and cultivate it and trim it and put food in it, what's gonna happen?
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: Especially in this Arizona heat.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: And y'all gotta cultivate, man.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Hear me out on that.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and pretty soon, too, before I go, I'm gonna let you know.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: Um my producer just told me here in the studio, and we're gonna be doing a uh spin-off show that is going to be cultivating biblical knowledge, but uh, but a different in a different light, you know, and how to live truly.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: And I and I can't wait also to get my wife involved.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: We're gonna do some things with marriage, um, how we how we live in this walk and how I'm walking.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: Um I want you guys, I want to be intimate too.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: Like I want people to really dig deep and see how I live my life and how things mature and cultivate or how they, you know, how I mitigate things, how I learned how I live.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: It's so important, you know.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: We're not perfect, but man.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have some things going here and camera work here soon, so you get to see my beautiful face.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: You know, just playing.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you'll get to see the be in real time, and you'll get to see um what uh the resources I'm using, the Bible, the scriptures, my phone, different things that we're doing, but you get to see me, who I am, and hopefully we get a better connection, intimacy there.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: And it'd be great, you know, and showing what God is doing in my life, so in our life.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: It's a great thing.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, until next time, I'm so grateful and thankful for y'all.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: May God keep you, may He bless you, may His face shine upon you and give you peace.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: God bless you, and Jesus loves you.
- 43:39unknown: Thank you.
