  days where we had like double headers on Monday or Tuesday or

  just the weird games? Well, makes me think, hey, I'll

  take a double header. And any day they wanted the NFL

  wants to give it to us. So I do have a 2 pack of sweats

  for you guys. I got a play on Tampa and

  Houston and I have a play on the Chargers and the Raiders.

  And believe it or not, both games from interesting

  perspective. They're not both dogs or both

  favorites, but both games offer a really clear contrarian bet

  against the public play with some sharp action.

  And it also happens to be that the 2 plays that I got for

  There's some kids there, but had a great bonfire, tore it up on

  the dance floor, rented out La Casita, which is this awesome

  Mexican restaurant at Mass Moca, which is another popular place

  in North Adams. So it was really great to be

  with the friends getting after it.

  Me and Elise had a great time and you know what I miss my

  butts. It's pretty, pretty rare as we

  get older. We still we got a really core

  group of friends that we all grew up with played baseball and

  But I was really, really special weekend.

  though, was a great Saturday. It's early in the year, but our

  visiting the Houston Texans now 7:00 tonight kick off let's set

  the stage. The bucks come in one and O they

  just took down the Falcons 23 to 20 in week one had to come back
• 6:40
  late and win that thing last second.

  They did cover though as a 1 1/2 point Rd. favorite.

  You know the Texans O and one just came up short against the
• 6:48
  Rams 14 to 9 didn't cover as a three-point Rd. dog.

  So what have you seen across the market here?

  Well, this game opened Houston list around a 2 1/2 point home

  favorite. And what's really jumping out to
• 6:59
  me is the fact that the public, you know what they're thinking.

  The wrong team is favored, yet Tampa Bay is so much better than
• 7:05
  the than the Houston Texans I. Don't know why.

  That's my public voice, that's my drunk guy at the bar voice.

  But the public is all over a trendy dog tonight.

  The bucks at DraftKings are getting 66% of spread bets, so
• 7:18
  2/3 of bets. Typically it's on the favorite.

  No, it's on the dog here. So right off the bat, before I
• 7:23
  even tell you about the line freeze, the bet splits.

  You know, the system matches all that.

  The fact that we have very obviously the public on a dog, a
• 7:30
  trendy dog. Remember, we like to bet dogs

  that are gross, that are hazmat, that look disgusting and have no
• 7:35
  shot at cashing because those are the dogs that are popular or
• 7:38
  sorry that are that are profitable.

  The dogs that again, the public likes to have favorites and
• 7:42
  they're going to want to bet the quote UN quote better team as as
• 7:45
  often as they can. So when they load up on a dog,

  that's really clear, clear public bias because got to think
• 7:50
  again. They don't want to play the dog,
• 7:52
  but they are because. They think the wrong team is
• 7:54
  favored. So 2/3 of bets are on Tampa Bay,

  taking the plus 2 1/2. However, even though you're

  getting 2/3 of bets on Tampa, we have not seen Houston fall from
• 8:04
  -2 1/2 down to 2 or -2 1/2 down to two, down to 1 1/2.

  This game isn't down toward a pick.

  No, it's staying right where it's at.

  So this is kind of the second key piece.

  The first key piece is that the public's Tampa second key piece

  of information is that Houston open -2 1/2 and the line hasn't
• 8:21
  fallen toward the popular side. If you look a little closer

  here, pay attention to the juice.

  Houston is -2 1/2 -, 115. So the juice is getting more
• 8:30
  expensive to take the unpopular Houston side.

  That's another key piece of info tells me this may get to 3.

  But think of it the other way. The, the, the odds makers are
• 8:39
  saying, oh, you like Tampa, here's 2 1/2.
• 8:41
  Oh you like Tampa, here's 2 1/2 - 1 O 5.

  Or you know, even money. So why are they handing out in a
• 8:46
  a better, cheaper, you know, better price here on Tampa when
• 8:51
  they're already the popular play?
• 8:52
  So this is kind of a reverse line move.

  Like technically this is a line freeze heavy betting one side
• 8:57
  Tampa, but the line won't move toward Tampa.

  It's staying right where it's at.

  That tells me the books don't want to drop it down to two
• 9:03
  because they're not worried about the public hammering

  Tampa. They're more concerned about
• 9:06
  sharps wise guys playing Houston.

  Second, again, the fact that it's juiced up toward Houston.

  It may or may not get to 3. I'd like it to get to 3 just cuz
• 9:14
  that'll be a clear RLM play. But a really good line freeze in
• 9:17
  favor of Houston here. Now we dig deeper.

  Texans not only a great line freeze play, but they are also
• 9:25
  getting only 34% of spread bets at DraftKings, but 71% of spread
• 9:31
  dollars. So they're contrarian and
• 9:33
  heavily back game. Low bets, higher dollars at
• 9:35
  DraftKings, low bets higher dollars at circa 43% of spread
• 9:38
  bets, 53% of spread dollars. Classic fade.

  The trendy dog Publix on the trendy dog Tampa.

  I want to go the other way so Houston has fade the trendy dog
• 9:48
  contrarian value as an unpopular favorite and a heavily bet
• 9:51
  primetime game. Another angle here to me is just
• 9:54
  kind of buy low, sell high. If you're a contrarian better,
• 9:56
  you're always trying to buy low, sell high.

  I know it's cliche here a lot in, you know, financial circles,

  but it's really true. I want to sell high on Tampa
• 10:03
  because they are one and O and they won in covered last week.

  I want to buy low on Houston because they're O and one and
• 10:11
  lost and failed to cover the previous week.

  So you have that buy low, sell high.

  Now, if you want to lay 2 1/2 with Houston -115 obviously
• 10:19
  that's the side I would take on the spread.

  But you might know me by now, or maybe you don't.

  I like to money line short favorites.

  Whole point being, this is a 2 1/2 spread.

  You're under the key number of three in this situation.

  Odds makers are telling you it could be a tight game, could be

  a close game. Maybe somebody's got to go for
• 10:36
  two. Maybe there's a missed kick.

  I would hate to see Houston win by one or two and you or I or
• 10:42
  anyone who's playing Houston loses because they laid at 2
• 10:45
  1/2. So I money lined Houston here.

  I played Houston on the money line at DraftKings.

  They had the lowest price that I saw -130 shop around because
• 10:53
  some other books are -140 -, 145, but you get give me a -,

  130. Mitigate some risk.

  Just win the damn game. That's what I'm doing with

  Houston. So that's my official bet,

  Houston money line. But I also like at DraftKings

  28% of money line bets, 50% of money line dollars on the

  Texans. Also, I mentioned this a second

  ago, kind of hinted at it, but non conference favorites.

  So typically we like to bet these divisional dogs more on
• 11:18
  that in a second. But when you have a non
• 11:21
  conference match up, two teams, two different conferences, so
• 11:23
  Tampa from the NFC, Houston from the AFC, usually you see
• 11:27
  favorites do well in that spot because the lack of familiarity
• 11:30
  typically benefits. Quote UN quote.

  The better team was expected to win non conference favorites.

  They're four and one straight up this year.
• 11:37
  They're 115 and 50 straight up 70%, four percent ROI since 2023
• 11:43
  over the last couple years. So that kind of backs up the

  money line plan Houston. Now if you tell me like Tampa,

  I'm going to disagree because they're trendy.

  There's a line freeze on Houston, yadda, yadda, yadda.

  But I can't argue that Baker Mayfield is 14 and seven against

  the spread, 67% as a dog with Tampa.

  So if you if you're dying to play Tampa again, looks like the

  sharp play to me is Houston. But if you're dying to play

  Tampa, I think the only way to play them will be a teaser.

  They are in that Wong teaser, you know, sweet spot.

  Plus 2 1/2 up to 8 1/2. That way you go through the key

  numbers of three and seven. In terms of the total, it's

  pretty low, 42 1/2 actually fell a little bit, 43 1/2 down to 42

  1/2. Really notable downward movement

  because the public's hammering the over nearly 80% of bets.

  But we have seen primetime unders 3 and three so far this

  year, but they are 58% since 2019.

  Raiders. Now chargers come in one and O

  Raiders, meanwhile, also want to know they beat the patriots week

  the market here? Well, most books open this game.

  Chargers -3 1/2. I saw maybe a three that

  And the public says Chargers are the better team.

  touchdown or more. So you are getting right now

  charters to both went out right. But anyway, we have some good

  So divisional dogs, built in familiarity, levels of playing

  field, benefits of team getting points.

  I believe they're only six and seven ATS so far to start this
