- 1:12Speaker 2: a lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and sure, they definitely can be, but understanding of professional's
- 1:19Speaker 2: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 1:22Speaker 2: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 1:29Speaker 2: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 1:33Speaker 2: what helps you live or more happily fulfilled life. P
- 1:36Speaker 2: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 1:41Speaker 2: Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of
- 1:44Speaker 2: the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank
- 1:47Speaker 2: National Association Member FDIC.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Let's talk about Amazon. Yeah, why is Amazon consistently making
- 1:55Speaker 3: big move but the stock doesn't reflect it? Like, the
- 1:57Speaker 3: stock is never really going skyrocketed. It's not going up.
- 2:03Speaker 3: It's not keeping track with Apple or Microsoft? Like why
- 2:06Speaker 3: has Amazon underperformed relative to the other big tech companies?
- 2:13Speaker 4: Well, my question would be have they underperformed or are
- 2:15Speaker 4: they just in the range where they should be for
- 2:17Speaker 4: a normal stock that is a Fortune five company that
- 2:23Speaker 4: is not overinflated. I think we all can agree. As
- 2:27Speaker 4: great as Nvideo is to go up eleven x in
- 2:30Speaker 4: four years. It's a feat that many companies won't do again.
- 2:35Speaker 4: So I think it's performed incredibly well. Like especially from
- 2:40Speaker 4: where it was. It's one of the top picks, top
- 2:42Speaker 4: retirement pits in stock Club. I think that people want
- 2:47Speaker 4: extraordinary gains, but then when we have extraordinary drawdown, they
- 2:51Speaker 4: don't want that part of it. Amazon's Tim duncan give
- 2:55Speaker 4: me twenty two and twelve and four blocks in the
- 2:59Speaker 4: finals and may not. I'd be the spectacular fifty point
- 3:01Speaker 4: nine that maybe a Carmelo can put up. But I
- 3:04Speaker 4: like when a company can consistently print games or and
- 3:08Speaker 4: then have little draw down. I think we all can
- 3:12Speaker 4: be very clear. In the retail space, they run the
- 3:14Speaker 4: retail space, getting more exposure in India, which is the market.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I think that it's going to be most important in
- 3:19Speaker 4: the next two decades. I think they've done incredibly well.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Great question, but sometimes a safe stock doesn't look exciting
- 3:27Speaker 4: when other things are going parabolic. But when those stocks
- 3:30Speaker 4: or meme coins go parabolic, do they last for long?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Amazon is my favorite company, and I think for all
- 3:39Speaker 2: the points you said, and then I'll add a few
- 3:40Speaker 2: additional ones. Unlike in the video, when you hear something
- 3:45Speaker 2: about black Bell. You can see momentum move in a
- 3:47Speaker 2: positive direction. When Amazon makes it an announcement, it necessarily
- 3:51Speaker 2: doesn't move with the announcement. The announcement sometimes and the
- 3:56Speaker 2: gains are probably baked in and so you'll see slow movement.
- 4:00Speaker 2: But if you look at it over this past five years,
- 4:02Speaker 2: it's going up eighty seven percent, so that's nearly one
- 4:04Speaker 2: hundred percent returned since the pandemic. This year it's up
- 4:07Speaker 2: twenty percent. So these are like, really there's a whole
- 4:12Speaker 2: run in the year.
- 4:14Speaker 4: It's CAUs to twelve percent twenty years over delivery for a.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Company with the market and the size that it has,
- 4:22Speaker 2: I mean, it's ridiculous, had I mean, the premium valuation
- 4:26Speaker 2: is one of those reasons. It's a ready valued high, right,
- 4:28Speaker 2: so when you have a premium stock, most people look
- 4:31Speaker 2: at like how much higher can it go? How much
- 4:33Speaker 2: higher can it go? And so that plays a part
- 4:35Speaker 2: in it. And then what we saw from their their
- 4:37Speaker 2: earner support last two weeks ago when we talked about
- 4:41Speaker 2: the heavy reinvestment, and so they've invested in infrastructure. That's
- 4:45Speaker 2: the reason why you now can have your products in
- 4:48Speaker 2: the same day. They have invested in AI and we
- 4:50Speaker 2: talked about that when cappex was increased by forty three percent.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So they're innovating. They're still making money, right, and you're
- 5:00Speaker 2: gonna love this because you love talking about gross profit margin.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Here's the last four quarters their gross profit margin and
- 5:08Speaker 2: June of twenty three sixteen percent, in September of twenty three, seventeen,
- 5:14Speaker 2: zero point one five percent in December of twenty three,
- 5:18Speaker 2: seventeen seventeen and a quarter percent March of this year,
- 5:23Speaker 2: nineteen and a half percent. In June of this year,
- 5:26Speaker 2: they just reported another nineteen in a quarter. And so
- 5:29Speaker 2: you're seeing they're making more money. They've figured out ways
- 5:33Speaker 2: to make more profit from the products and services that
- 5:36Speaker 2: they had as they've added more businesses. We've already talked
- 5:39Speaker 2: about their moat in the e commerce space and how
- 5:41Speaker 2: they enter spaces not just to say we want to
- 5:44Speaker 2: be a part of it, but to completely dominate and
- 5:46Speaker 2: take over them. Yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I love Amazon, the greater CEOs all time.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I was going to that was the last point I
- 5:53Speaker 2: was going to make. We can't discount the fact that
- 5:55Speaker 2: they're seed, They've changed CEOs, and they've had a stock
- 5:58Speaker 2: split within the past four or five years, So sometimes
- 6:02Speaker 2: that takes change, right, Like who is actually going to
- 6:05Speaker 2: be as a CEO? Who is he going to be
- 6:06Speaker 2: as a leader of the company. I'd say he's done
- 6:08Speaker 2: pretty well. I love Amazon, not even just for the
- 6:12Speaker 2: short term, but for a long term perspective. It is
- 6:15Speaker 2: something that I mean, it's going to stay in my
- 6:17Speaker 2: portfolio and now I don't see why it wouldn't be
- 6:18Speaker 2: anybody else's.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, say your case, twenty is an amazing
- 6:26Speaker 1: return for a company that size, that has the entire
- 6:29Speaker 1: world on their back and trying to copy in either
- 6:32Speaker 1: way at their games.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Like if I would have told you eight years ago
- 6:35Speaker 4: Amazon would be outpacing Walmart is a safety stock, you
- 6:39Speaker 4: to said that was crazy. They've performed incredibly well enjoy
- 6:43Speaker 4: stable games.
- 6:45Speaker 2: We got to appreciate that. I'm looking at now. Apple
- 6:49Speaker 2: is up via the date is up seventeen percent. So
- 6:54Speaker 2: it's actually and we I mean everybody we talk about too, but.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Less turbulous and more in Apple. This IFHO sixteen, I
- 7:02Speaker 4: better be able to cause Kai Sanat on a damned
- 7:05Speaker 4: space ship. Don't re rock the same fifteen pro and
- 7:09Speaker 4: tell me you put three more megapixels in it. I'm
- 7:11Speaker 4: gonna go in here and go off.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Please innovate more megapixels more.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Hey k an.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child in Massachusetts.
- 7:23Speaker 5: An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador accused of
- 7:26Speaker 5: murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with filming and
- 7:30Speaker 5: selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just some of
- 7:34Speaker 5: the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President Donald J.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States Secretary of
- 7:42Speaker 5: Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are
- 7:46Speaker 5: at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred
- 7:50Speaker 5: thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you were here illegally,
- 7:54Speaker 5: your next you will be fine nearly one thousand dollars
- 7:58Speaker 5: a day, imprisoned, and to poor. You will never return.
- 8:02Speaker 5: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 8:05Speaker 5: leave now, you could be allowed to return legally. Do
- 8:08Speaker 5: what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws, border
- 8:14Speaker 5: and families will be protected.
