  Speaker 1: increased victory over sin. So it's not possible on the

  Speaker 1: of eternity without the Lord, right. But I do believe

  Speaker 1: with God, with Jesus, Amen, we could experience more victory,

  Speaker 1: increase victory over sin. We're going to be in first John,

  Speaker 1: earlier on while the enemy had us in his grips

  Speaker 1: because he was deceiving and he continues to deceive the

  Speaker 1: whole world because he's a liar. He's been lying since
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: the beginning. So don't trust him, don't engage in conversation

  Speaker 1: with him, don't debate with him. Is useless. He's not
• 10:01
  Speaker 1: going to tell you the truth. He's going to tell
• 10:03
  Speaker 1: you nothing but lies. So stay clear from any kind
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: of conversation with the enemy. It's not worth it. He

  Speaker 1: is not able to speak truth. He's not able to

  Speaker 1: transform lives. He's not able to save lives. He's not

  Speaker 1: able to do anything other than to lie, deceive, trick,

  Speaker 1: and he's on a mission to kill Steele and destroyer.

  Speaker 1: in victory. Amen. He doesn't want anyone to live this

  Speaker 1: life out in victory. But God wins the battle. We

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, we love it, brother men, brothers and sisters,

  Speaker 1: children of God. We could be short, we could know

  Speaker 1: that we are children of God. And by the way,

  Speaker 1: only Jesus the Lord gives us the right to be

  Speaker 1: called children of God. And it is not yet made

  Speaker 1: clear what we will be after his coming. Right, no

  Speaker 1: one knows what's gonna happen when Jesus Christ cracks open
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: the sky. We know what the scripture says, but what
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: I'm saying is that we don't actually know. Has never
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: happened before, And God's way of thinking this, it already happened,
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: but in our time because we're limits it. We don't know.

  Speaker 1: We know this is what we do know. We know

  Speaker 1: that when he comes and is revealed, we will, as

  Speaker 1: his children, be like him. We do know that because

  Speaker 1: the scriptures say that, and we're just reading it now,

  Speaker 1: because we will see him just as he is in

  Speaker 1: all his glory. Now, this is amazing because no one

  Speaker 1: has ever seen God, the scripture says, but Jesus humble

  Speaker 1: himself and came as the God Man, which was God

  Speaker 1: in the flesh. So that way we could see a

  Speaker 1: visible representation, a mirror image of who God is, and

  Speaker 1: we were able, or the people at his time were

  Speaker 1: able to see him. He says, you see me. Jesus says,

  Speaker 1: you see me, you see the Father. According to the scriptures,
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: no one has seen God. Amen. So this means that

  Speaker 1: Jesus will actually be seen, and then we could actually
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: see who God is and he will be in all
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: his glory when Jesus comes back. So there's a lot
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: more that I can't dive into during the scripture because

  Speaker 1: this is a morning devotion. But this is beautiful because

  Speaker 1: now we know we're loved, we're know where God's children,
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: and it's not even made clear after his coming because

  Speaker 1: we can't even comprehend that day how it's going to be.

  Speaker 1: But we know is coming. We know Jesus is coming.

  Speaker 1: We know his promises are good. We know his promises

  Speaker 1: are all yeate and amen. So it's going to happen.

  Speaker 1: But what we do know is that we will be

  Speaker 1: like him. What we do know is that we're his children.

  Speaker 1: What we do know because of his word, that we

  Speaker 1: would see him in all his glory. Why did I

  Speaker 1: pick this scripture to discuss power over sin or the

  Speaker 1: power of sin? I'm gonna tell you right now, thank

  Speaker 1: what God is promising. I want you to see who
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: is going to be in all his glory. It's the

  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. Is it possible not to sin? I know,

  Speaker 1: I hear people saying that, oh, you're always going around
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: saying you're not a sinner. I've never said that. Amen.

  Speaker 1: I go around saying and that I don't have to
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: be identify by myself as a sinner. That's what I say.

  Speaker 1: So I'm a believer, right, And you might be a
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: believer that's watching or listening. You might be saying, well,
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: I'm a believer in that's still sin. And you're right,
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: you're a saint that deals with sin, but even believers
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: in Christ sin. But we know that we're set free
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: from the bondage of sin if you listen closely to
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I say this, I've been saying this
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: for years because it's in the scriptures forever, Amen, and
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: a scriptures stand over what I say. Romans chapter six.

  Speaker 1: I'm just gonna cite the scripture Romans chapter six, Versus

  Speaker 1: six and seven. Read that, and you're gonna find out

  Speaker 1: that we are free from the power of sin and
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: are no longer slaves to it. See, we still live
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: in a fallen world. I don't know if you have

  Speaker 1: noticed that, but we all live in a fallen world. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: so I can't go around saying, oh no, no, don't worry
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: about it. You're a Christian now, so this world won't
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: affect you. This world is fixed. This world is broken,
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: and it's fallen. And because it's fallen, the world and
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: the flesh will contend against the Spirit of God. And
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: this contention, or the I call it competition between the
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: flesh nature and God's nature in us. Even though the
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: Spirit of God is always willing. The flesh is always weak,
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: but it's always going to be that tension, right, and
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: because of that, that's going to lead us or lead
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: people into some simple areas because of the flesh. And
• 15:48
  Speaker 1: we all have this battle. But however, it's important to
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: understand that our identity, and this is the most important
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: thing to me as a believer, our identity, our identity
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: as believers, is not defined by sin. That's why I
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: always go around saying, stop calling yourself a sinner. If
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: you're born again, stop it. You're identifying yourself as a sinner.

  Speaker 1: And the Lord is not identifying you once you're born
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: again as a sinner. He's identifying you as a child
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: of God, a saint. You fill with His Holy Spirit,
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: which is the third person of the Trinity, and you
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: are free from the bondage of sin. You're free a man.
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: So you don't have to go around saying you are
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: a sinner any longer you sin because of your flesh,
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: you don't sin becomes the Holy Spirit. God is not
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: tempting you to sin. You actually sin because of the
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: flesh nature. We are now new creations in Christ. How
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: many times have you heard that from me? Second Corinthian
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: Chapter five, vers Number seventeen as one of my memory
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: scriptures very early on. I think the second day I
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: was save, God gave me that scripture and put it
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: into my memory. Amen. And zegu Chapter thirty six, Verses
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: twenty six and twenty seven. You could actually put those
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: two together and get the point that we have a
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: new nature in Christ and a new heart and spirit.
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: We're no longer bound by the old ways. Yet people
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: tend to go back to the old ways because the
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: flesh seems to be taken over sometimes. So we are
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: on a journey. The Bible says we're on a journey. Amen.

  Speaker 1: But the Bible also encourages us to walk by the spirit,
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: which means we're going to rely on the Holy Spirit's direction,
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: his guidance, his power to resist the desire of the flesh.

  Speaker 1: Right relations chapter five. I literally wrote a whole book
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: called the Flesh is a Monster, because I know a
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: lot of the problems that we face as brothers and
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: sisters in Christ, as children of God, a man would sin.

  Speaker 1: It's not that it's hard to be a Christian. It's
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: not that it's hard to follow Jesus. Amen. It's not
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: that it's our flesh, and the flesh will eat us
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: up if we feel it, or if we feed the
• 18:12
  Speaker 1: flesh too much a man, the flesh will come back
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: like a monster and try to overcome our way of thinking,
• 18:19
  Speaker 1: our life, our decisions will get confused. We won't hear
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: the voice of God, we won't feel or sense God,
• 18:26
  Speaker 1: even though he's close. He's close in us, and we're
• 18:29
  Speaker 1: cleaned by his blood and we're clean by his word. Amen,
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: we're renewed, renew creations. But if we get all into
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: our flesh and all into our own ideas and our thoughts,
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: and we're going to lose this. We're going to lose
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: our connection, our clear communication with God because we're in
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: the flesh deliverance ministries. I believe that people need to
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: get delivered from demons and all that stuff, But I
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: don't believe our born again believer could be filled with
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: the demon. I think they could be led to sin
• 19:02
  Speaker 1: by their own evil fleshly desires, and then of course
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: demonic activity could be around that, right, But I think
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: it starts first with the flesh. If you're a believer,
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: because if you're a believer, if you're not a believer, yeah,
• 19:15
  Speaker 1: You could be demonically oppressed, possessed, suppressed, oppressed by demons
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: all the time, and you probably won't even know it.
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: As a matter of fact. It might be a demon
• 19:26
  Speaker 1: that's given you pleasure in your mindset, or you might
• 19:30
  Speaker 1: be liking the idea of being demonically oppressed or possessed
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: because you don't know the love of God. You don't
• 19:37
  Speaker 1: know the salvation of God. You don't know the completion
• 19:40
  Speaker 1: of God. You don't know Jesus. So, yeah, the world's
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: gonna do what the world does. The devil's gonna do
• 19:45
  Speaker 1: what the devil does. He's gonna fill people. We're all
• 19:48
  Speaker 1: kinds of demonic things, right, But we are here to
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: set the captains free. Jesus set us out on a commission.
• 19:56
  Speaker 1: Amen's to lay hands on a sick, cast out demons,
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: to preach the gospel, make disciples right, and baptize people
• 20:04
  Speaker 1: in the name of the Father, the Son, and of
• 20:06
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit. So we are on a mission. The
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: devil's on a mission. Spirit is always willing, the flesh
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: is always weak. So we got to get everything in perspective,
• 20:16
  Speaker 1: get everything in order. Man for three more minutes. So
• 20:19
  Speaker 1: the journey of the life of a Christian right involves
• 20:24
  Speaker 1: the renewing of our minds as well Romans chapter twelve,
• 20:26
  Speaker 1: verse number two, and growing in our understanding of God's
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: great Romans twelve to two. So as we were mature,
• 20:36
  Speaker 1: because we're supposed to mature, we're supposed to understand. We're
• 20:40
  Speaker 1: supposed to mature. We're supposed to grow in God. In Christ,
• 20:44
  Speaker 1: we were churr in our faith. We learn to depend
• 20:47
  Speaker 1: more on Christ's strength and less on our own efforts.
• 20:53
  Speaker 1: That's called being humble and knowing that allowing God's life
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: in us to be expressed through us. So it's unlikely
• 21:02
  Speaker 1: that we will achieve sinless perfection. Sinless perfection is life
• 21:08
  Speaker 1: very unlikely. We experience increasing victory over sin, but we're
• 21:14
  Speaker 1: not going to be sinless until that day when Jesus
• 21:17
