The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.” — Zephaniah 3:17

Zephaniah gives us one of the most tender pictures of God: He rests in His love over you. God's love is not anxious or reactive; it is settled before you do anything. His delight in you is the ground of your peace, not the result of your performance.
