- 0:21Everybody, did you see how I said host? Did you hear that it
- 0:25was disgusting? Was it disgusting? Somebody complained that the way I said a

- 2:04algorithm. Thank you, thank you. Okay, so before we get into
- 2:09all the things we want to talk about, like some of your just overall
- 2:14thoughts, send your vibe about the wedding special. Well, I'm glad first
- 2:17and foremost it was on streaming and available the night it aired. Very happy
- 2:22about that. I wish the other look backs and talkbacks were on streaming,
- 2:27but I digress. I also thought Christine was beautiful. Yes, I thought
- 2:31her wedding was very sweet. Or like her wedding decorations and stuff and preparation
- 2:36was very cute. All of her daughters are super supportive, which I love,
- 2:39so I thought it was like pretty wholesome. I thought so too.
- 2:44I definitely wonder who's paying for this lavish wedding to have three hundred people attending,
- 2:50you have a beautiful venue. We have a lot of wonderful aspects to
- 2:57these nuptials, So like, is Dave Wooly a Richmond or is this TLC?
- 3:01I mean, I think David Wooly makes some money, but I feel
- 3:05like this is probably paid for by TLC slash people. Yeah, so well,
- 3:09I did have a takeaway Yeah, And my thought was because I watched
- 3:14this twice, My thought, my primary feeling was this is what it would
- 3:17look like if we gave mickelty and Tony more airtime. Yeah, and I
- 3:24for one would not be down with that shit. I mean, as soon
- 3:29as they walked into the Airbnb and she herself and then McKelty proceeded to like
- 3:35compete with everybody for who loves me more? And don't you think I'm funny?
- 3:38Mom? And I had more wedding guests than you did, Mom,
- 3:42I'm like, oh my god, I know, calm Dawn. I will
- 3:46say though Tony McKelty looked great, like they've lost so much weight. They
- 3:51look snatched. Yes, so I'm happy for them that way, but also
- 3:54get off my TV. Yeah, I'm like, oh, I feel like
- 3:58they really wanted Yeah, I don't want it. They're so uh performance.
- 4:02Yeah, you know you know what I heard. I heard that McKelty actually
- 4:05is pausing her Patreon content. I think that she's got some things going on
- 4:12in her life right now. So I don't know, Tony don't work.
- 4:15And I also heard that she's pulling away from Lulaau Whoa. Of course,
- 4:19Christine used to do Lularau along with Mary, and then Christine left Lulara and
- 4:26she sent all of her clients to her daughter, Michelti. But now Michelty
- 4:30is kind of stepping away from Lulaau and also from Patreon, and I'm thinking,
- 4:34well, how are you making your money? But then they also do
- 4:38Plexus. They also shill Plexus interesting, but maybe it's also because she's going
- 4:44to be on season nineteen. Maybe maybe she's still this is not the direction
- 4:48we want to go and TLC no thing, but like it really makes you
- 4:55think, like, what is what is the new normal going to be for
- 4:58sister wife. I don't know. I was happy that, like Cody and
- 5:01Robin weren't in this episode very much at all, Like we had them for
- 5:05like one scene and that was great. But what else are we gonna do?
- 5:09Because I personally don't want to see Christine on DV constantly either talking about
- 5:15kids. She loves David and her kids, and I'm just like, this
- 5:18is great. I'm happy before you. I'm glad for the special. But
- 5:20if season nineteen is just all about that, I'm like, I don't know
- 5:24if I want to say. And that's why I hate to say it,
- 5:27but I feel like we need Cody and Robin. We need the drama for
- 5:30this to continue to thrive. Otherwise it's just happy and great and raccoons can't
- 5:35eat that. We can't eat that's not garbage. We need to go trash.
- 5:41Absolutely. So those are some of my feelings and takeaways. But before
- 5:45we get into the actual episode to just talk about it all, I do
- 5:47understand that somebody reached out to us via speak pipe and by the way,
- 5:53if you want to comment with your mouth and your words and your sounds,
- 5:56Yeah, all you have to do is go to speakpipe dot com, slash
- 5:59rec TV, cringe. You have up to ninety seconds, honey, to
- 6:01tell us whatever you're thinking about, and we love to hear it. Yeah,
- 6:04so who reached out? We have a message from Rachel and she's got
- 6:09a sister wife's take. Okay, hey girls, Happy New Year. It's
- 6:13Rachel again. I'm calling with a new theory about why we're investing in so
- 6:17much nick knack clutter essentially, but that is high dollar in quote unquote and
- 6:23investment. So I recently learned that the reason, one of the reasons that
- 6:28drug dealers wear so much jewelry and like expensive jewelry on their person is that
- 6:32if they're arrested, the police will confiscate it, but it's upon your release
- 6:36you have to be given back whatever you had, So it's almost like an
- 6:40insurance policy. I'm wondering if the laws of Arizona would preclude any little like
- 6:46dickenzie in villages and like David Yearman jewelry, if those would be precluded from
- 6:50a lawsuit. So I know, like I live in the state of Florida.
- 6:54They can't take your house in Florida, Like no matter how much your
- 6:56house is worth, your primary residence cannot be taken from you in a lawsuit
- 7:00because they have so much experience with bankruptcy, et cetera. I would not
- 7:04be the least bit surprised if this is a way of like storing up for
- 7:09the future and kind of like keeping these assets hidden, Like who's going to
- 7:14go after trinkets in a lawsuit? You know, it might not even be
- 7:16legally eligible, but even if it were, they could say, really,
- 7:19you're coming after our Christmas village, You're coming after our wedding rings. Like
- 7:25it would at a minimum be an optical nightmare. So anyway, this is
- 7:30my newest wild speculation theory. I thought about it for a while. I
- 7:32do think Cody is very plotting, and they had to have known that eventually
- 7:38these women were going to like get wise and get out of here. So
- 7:41anyway, what do you guys think? Very interesting? Very interesting. She
- 7:46mentions a lawsuit, and I'm not sure what she's referring to with that,
- 7:50because I think what she's talking about, generally, correct me if I'm wrong,
- 7:55is bankruptcy. Yeah, which is not the same as a lawsuit,
- 7:58right, It's a filing that you you file, and then the trustee either
- 8:01signs off or doesn't. And if the trustee does sign off on your bankruptcy,
- 8:05depending on what kind you're filing, then you might have to liquidate your
- 8:09assets. You might have to turn over some of your things, and that
- 8:11would depend I think state to state. Yeah, or maybe like a lawsuit
- 8:16with the wives, Like if they were trying to come after for assets and
- 8:18stuff and they had to liquidate their shit, then coding Robin could be like,
- 8:22no, not our Decanzian village, none, our little trinkets and our
- 8:26bad jewelry. I don't know how it would how it would turn out in
- 8:31an actual civil law suit between the wives and Cody and Robin. But I
- 8:33did look up bankruptcy exemptions to see what they can actually keep if they end
- 8:39up declaring bankruptcy, because I'm really curious, and because I really do think
- 8:43that this is a potential, this is something that might happen, especially if
- 8:48they remove Cody and Robin from the franchise, which everybody, everybody is calling
- 8:52for a TLC to do. Although I want to acknowledge that I don't think
- 8:56this franchise goes on without them. No, But if they lose all their
- 9:01money and have to declare bankruptcy, especially if they're over leveraged, like they
- 9:05have so much debt and they can't pay it off and they declare. These
- 9:07are what These are some of the exemptions in Arizona. First and foremost,
- 9:13the homestead for their primary residence. A person's primary residence is exempt provided that
- 9:20it does not have more than four hundred thousand dollars in equity. Okay,
- 9:26so I think right now, what are we got in equity? Depending on
- 9:28whether they drew from equity to pay back Janelle et cetera, I think they've
- 9:33got several hundred thousand dollars in equity. So if they declared bankruptcy, I
- 9:37think they would be compelled to sell their house to liquidate and to I guess
- 9:43pay that off. Maybe that's why they're doing renovations on it. Maybe Mike
- 9:48also vehicles each debtor, So both Cody and Robin may retain one vehicle provided
- 9:54that it does not have more than fifteen thousand dollars of equity. So his
- 10:00Lexus, which I know he's trying to sell. They've got that truck,
- 10:03They've got RB, they own the Arvy. Yeah, isn't there a minivan
- 10:09or is that something from a while ago, beings they've gotten. But I
- 10:13mean maybe maybe some of the kids own the cars and so they wouldn't be
- 10:18able to be taken away, but they would be able to keep two of
- 10:20their vehicles. Any retirement or pension that Cody or Robin has can't be stripped
- 10:26away by bankruptcy. Although I cannot imagine a world where Cody has an Ira
- 10:31or a four oh one k he was depending on the wives frat, I
- 10:35know, I don't think so. Also, so here's where we're I think
- 10:39we have Rachel wondering. So household goods and furnishings, so paintings, Deckenzie
- 10:45and villages, supplements and the like. So most furnishings and household goods are
- 10:50exempt. Are exempt up to fifteen thousand dollars in the aggregate or thirty thousand
- 10:56dollars for married debtors. This includes household electronics, furniture, appliances, and
- 11:03most items a person uses for household purposes. Oh okay, so I mean
- 11:07maybe the Deckenzie, village and the artwork is not going to be able to
- 11:11be seized, but that's maybe that's what she was meaning I think it can
- 11:13be seized for sure. Can Yeah, I don't think they would be considered
- 11:18furnishings, oh m G. And I also think that they have at least
- 11:22thirty thousand in their appliances, in their furniture, in their dining table,
- 11:28plus their paintings, whatever's in the basement, honey, and all those boxes
- 11:31e firearms. Oh and by the way, that's listed as well. We'll
- 11:35get to it. Tools of the trade. So tools that a debtor uses
- 11:39to earn a living are exempt, provided that their aggregate value does not exceed
- 11:43five thousand dollars. The exemption would be ten thousand if they were married.
- 11:46So if he was like a landscaper, for example, and he had his
- 11:50lawnmowers and all of his whatever landscapers used tools, those would be exempted up
- 11:54to five or ten thousand dollars. Money in a bank account in a single
- 12:01bank account is exempt. If you're married, each spouse can have five thousand
- 12:05dollars in an account, totaling ten thousand dollars. Okay, damn. Any
- 12:09other accounts I imagine would have to be drained turned over to the trustee.
- 12:15Jewelry, so of course we've got the stallion jewelry. We've got that shield
- 12:18that Cody's been wearing in the last few episodes. That's worth I think a
- 12:22few thousand dollars. So in Arizona, wedding rings are exempt if it is
- 12:28worth less than two thousand dollars four thousand if married. No other jewelry is
- 12:33exempt in Arizona. If you own expensive jewelry, it will be forfeited to
- 12:37the trustee. Oh my god, so all of us watches too? Does
- 12:41he make his rolock alexes everything? Wow? Last, but not least firearms.
- 12:48And if you don't know Cody, I don't know that he's a dealer
- 12:52in firearms. I don't think he's got his license to actually sell firearms.
- 12:58But he was doing some sort of a workaround with kits, I think.
- 13:01But in any so, I would imagine though, that he probably has firearms
- 13:05himself. Yeah. All firearms of not more than an aggregate fair market value
- 13:11of two thousand dollars are exempt. Wow. So all firearms if not more
- 13:16than an aggregate fair market value of two thousand are exempt. What does that
- 13:20mean? That's kind of worded in a weird way. I think he can
- 13:24keep his firearms. But as soon as it's over four thousand dollars. They
- 13:26would have to be dated to be seized. Oh shit, Well, if
- 13:31he's buying expensive ass firearms then or has been collecting them all these years,
- 13:35which I could totally see him being a guy who does that. Oh yes,
- 13:39firearms can be very very very very expensive and somewhat of an investment.
- 13:43So there you have it. What was her name, Rachel? Yeah,
- 13:46So these are some of the things you can think about. I think the
- 13:48Dickensian Village would be up for grabs. I think all of those paintings would
- 13:52be up for grabs. Sure, I think everything would be up for grabs
- 13:56for the most part. Oh my god, to pay off Coyote Past if
- 14:00they had, they wouldn't even be able to keep Coty passed they would have,
- 14:01they would be compelled to sell it yep, which I think would put
- 14:05Janelle and Mary in a funky situation because it would be Cody declaring bankruptcy while
- 14:11they are not. Oh my god, what would happen if Cody and Robin
- 14:16declared but Janelle did not, Like, would she be able to keep the
- 14:20land that she has in common with him? Because I think you'd got to
- 14:22sell it. Oh my god, that'd be terrible. I hope she's figuring
- 14:26out her assets and entangling everything in this off season. I really Janelle,
- 14:31Like, I feel like Mary's probably not as entangled as Janelle is. I
- 14:33feel like Janelle's got her name on fucking everything, so she's got to figure
- 14:37that out. Yep, yep. So good question. Thank you. You
- 14:41got the raccoons thinking. All right, now, let's get into Sister Wives
- 14:46Season eighteen, Episode nineteen, Christine and David, Part one. We begin
- 14:52this episode with Christine arriving at the Airbnb. I guess Christine's kids and Janelle's
- 14:58ca are coming into town and they're all going to be staying at this ARABNB.
- 15:03So what did you think? I mean, yes, snooze. I'm
- 15:07like, that's GREATNA looks great. Yeah, it's kind of boring. Like
- 15:11Christine's like super giddy and happy, like there's not much to report here,
- 15:16right, there's not much here, No, there isn't. We do have
- 15:20Christine and David sitting down on the couch and talking about their origin story and
- 15:24how they met, and apparently he likes to tell his dates that he's got
- 15:31eight kids and then watch their reaction very closely, and I guess when he
- 15:35did that, Christine paused because that's even more kids than she has. Yeah,
- 15:39even though she's like, I didn't pause. But then she gets right
- 15:43into all of her bullshit, like oh, I used to be a sister
- 15:46wife, and I was the third wife, and we have eighteen children and
- 15:48now there's a fourth wife and all these things. And he's like, yeah,
- 15:50I know, I know who you are. I'm not living under a
- 15:54rock out here. We're in Utah. We know who the Brown family.
- 15:58Yeah, yeah, I thought that was interesting. And this is where it
- 16:00was confirmed by David that two of his sisters are living polygamy. They're living
- 16:07somewhere in Mexico, which I found to be interesting. I was surprised by
- 16:11that. So that's pretty interesting. So I'm glad that he's like against polygamy
- 16:15because she because that was Christine's next question, like you don't want to live
- 16:18that though, right, and he's like fuck no, So that's good.
- 16:21Yeah, that's that's that's cute. Christine did have a date scheduled for later
- 16:26that evening because she was just out there partying, living her best fifty one
- 16:32year old life. But after her date with David where she looked into his
- 16:37arresting eyes. She called off that date. She called her matchmaker and she's
- 16:41like, I'm done. I found my person, yeah, which is interesting,
- 16:45and then the rest is history. Although I was very surprised to hear
- 16:48how quickly they actually yeah, moved, yeah to get like he moved.
- 16:53She moved in with him after like only three months or something. Is that
- 16:57so? Yeah, that's what people are saying on Reddit. That's like the
- 17:00timeline. But they've only known each other a total of eleven months. Right,
- 17:03they're getting married. But I'm like, who are we to judge?
- 17:07I am nobody to judge nobody. I've married our partners very quickly. I
- 17:11married your daughter within like nine months, so right, and I think I
- 17:14married my husband within eight Yeah, yeah, so but I yeah, I
- 17:18thought it was interesting when truly later in the episode, was talking to I
- 17:21think Aspin and Isabelle about whether to call him. Oh. They were asking
- 17:26if she was excited. Yeah, She's like, well, I mean they've
- 17:30been living together this whole time. I've been living with both of them.
- 17:32I refer to them now as husband and wife. Yeah. I'm like,
- 17:36oh, interesting, I didn't know when they moved in together. Yeah,
- 17:38so they've been together for a while, cohabitate in I was surprised by that.
- 17:44I don't know how I feel about her, Christine moving in with David
- 17:48so soon with truly as a thirteen year old. But I mean whatever,
- 17:52David seems like he's nice. Yeah, And I mean I can't hate.
- 17:56I can't front because I moved mine now husband into my home. I mean
- 18:00he had his own home, but like he was over at my home quite
- 18:03a bit when my daughter was probably thirteen to fourteen years old. Yeah,
- 18:07but I mean I knew we were going to be together. But nonetheless,
- 18:10I mean, you do what you do when you fall in love, I
- 18:11guess. So after this, we have McKelty and Tony barreling into the Airbnb
- 18:18with their babies. Nobody the way are just incredibly cute. I mean,
- 18:22yeah, McKelty makes gorgeous babies total. I mean they are cute and chunky
- 18:26and everything. They're the only thing I want to see out of Tony mc
- 18:30kelty. Yes, one of them has flaming red hair. No, the
- 18:33other one's like a blonde, little chubby baby's so very cute. She comes
- 18:37in everybody's happy to see her. And then we cut to Cody and Robin
- 18:45in flag Staff chopping down a tree, chopping down some tree for what reason.
- 18:48I'm trying to think to myself, what reason to look like a big
- 18:52dig man? Cody have to chop down a tree to look like a big
- 18:56dig man? Firewoom see building a log cap very odd? And then they
- 19:03sit them both down, and I guess the producers ask Cody like, well,
- 19:07Christine's getting married, what are your thoughts, And he's like, well,
- 19:11I'm happy for her, and then kind of goes off on like he
- 19:15tries to go off on a tangent of like, well she's accusing me of
- 19:18blah blah blah blah, and Robin immediately stops him and he's like, no,
- 19:21no, no, we're happy for them, right, We're happy for
- 19:23them, right, which is interesting, Like she's like, no, we're
- 19:26on a script here, we have to pretend like we're happy for them.
- 19:30I don't know, I read that situation a little differently, like Robin is
- 19:34getting sick of his fucking mouth and him always popping off. He's like,
- 19:37can't we just be happy for these people? Yeah? Like I don't want
- 19:41to be out here like looking like we're bitter and passive aggressive. I just
- 19:45want to wish them well and leave it at that. Shut your fucking mouth,
- 19:48Cody. That's how I took that personally. I was thinking that it
- 19:52was like, She's like, dude, we need to stop because we need
- 19:56to focus on our image here. We need to do damage control and pretend
- 19:59like we can interesting. Ultimately, he tells some sort of story about how
- 20:03Christine has told the kids that Cody found his soulmates, so now I want
- 20:08to set out and find mine, and Cody says something like, you know,
- 20:12I really I hope that she does. I hope that they're happy.
- 20:15I don't buy it at all, But I mean, that doesn't sound like
- 20:18an accusation, which is how you started that sentence. So what is it
- 20:21that you were actually about to say? That's what I want to know.
- 20:22I think Robin knew he was about to show his ass. Oh one hundred
- 20:26percent. He was going to go on again about how she's talking shit about
- 20:29me to the kids. He was going to say something like that. Right
- 20:33next, we have hair and makeup at the Airbnb. This is where we
- 20:37have the older girls with truly and having the conversation. I only mention this
- 20:42because I think on the couch. Christine mentions that she also talked to Truly,
- 20:49like, what do you think about living with a man full time?
- 20:55Yeah, She's like, it's never happened before. We've never had to live
- 20:57like this with the father. Ever. She's like, I'm nervous about it,
- 21:02and Christine's like, well, I am too, and Truly he's like,
- 21:04well now I'm even more nervous. Truly is adorable. But that's gotta
- 21:10be weird because Truly, well, you know, penintended, but really and
- 21:14actually, for the last I don't know, seven ten years, Christine has
- 21:18been an almost single mother. Yep. The only time Cody comes over is
- 21:22to like check off the box on the schedule, stay till seven pm,
- 21:26and then bounce on out of there. I know. So to have a
- 21:29man around full time would have to be like a real adjustment, oh for
- 21:32sure, for all of them, For Christine and Truly and everybody else.
- 21:36I don't know, must be weird, but it might. I mean,
- 21:37maybe David's hella chill, Yeah, he's like whatever, chill. He seems
- 21:41like a nice dude. I think the people around them keep saying stuff,
- 21:45like, you know, Christine's a really big personality, and so is David.
- 21:49Yeah, and they're both leaders. And I was actually kind of wondering,
- 21:53like when we get to the rehearsal out at the Redcliffe's Lodge or whatever
- 21:59it is, and Christine starts taking charge and giving everybody instructions, I'm just
- 22:06like, she's pretty loud, yeah, and she kind of drowns him out.
- 22:11If he's somebody who is accustomed to being a leader and taking charge,
- 22:14I'm like, I know, and he doesn't seem like he has that big
- 22:18of a personality to me. He's a Capricorn too, so I'm just like,
- 22:21I don't know, I haven't seen that yet. But maybe we're going
- 22:23to see more of him in season nineteen, so we'll get to actually see
- 22:26more of his actual character. Right. Then we cut over to Mary.
- 22:32She's in Paiwan. She's putting up her ghosts. What did you think of
- 22:36that? Well, the producers are asking her like, do you know that
- 22:38Christine's getting married? And she's like, yeah, I do. I don't
- 22:41know when I'm happy for her, but I'm also devastated that this is what's
- 22:45happened to our family, and that's essentially it. I kind of felt bad
- 22:48that she wasn't invited me too, But I mean I get it because Christine
- 22:53said she didn't want to invite her if there's still weird energy the divorce and
- 22:57everything, So I get it. And I think this is where Mary says,
- 23:00you know, Christine deserves to be happy, and I hope that that
- 23:03happens for me too. Yeah, And I'm like, yes, Queen,
- 23:06Yes, I hope so too. Yes. Yeah, I just felt that
- 23:10was kind of a lonely scene, her out on her deck or patio or
- 23:14porch or whatever, hanging up her ghosties. And I'm like, well,
- 23:17are you living? Do you have friends? I know you have Jen,
- 23:18I know you do Friday nights with Jen, but do you know people in
- 23:22this area? You seem like somewhat of the cosmopolitan person who likes to travel
- 23:26and have experiences and adventures, and you're just stuck in Carawan? Are you
- 23:30okay? Wearing? You know? I'm like, I wonder if Leon visits
- 23:33her ever, because Leon's at Christine's wedding. I don't know if you saw.
- 23:37I didn't see Leon. I no, I didn't see them. Okay,
- 23:40Yeah, So I mean that's cool that they're visiting and being there for
- 23:44Christine. But I'm like, do you visit your mom though I don't really
- 23:47ever see you there. Yeah, and your mom's lonely, so I hope.
- 23:51So we get then to the rehearsal and Janelle and her kids are there,
- 23:56and it's really nice seeing Gabe and seeing Maddie and Caleb, Caleb groom
- 24:02Maddie though to Caleb groomer. Every time I see Caleb, I'm like,
- 24:04you look nice, but I mean, are you a groomer? I don't
- 24:07know. Caleb's there, Maddie's there, their kids, We see Peyden and
- 24:11all the kids around, and it just seems like a lovely moment. And
- 24:15I'm telling you that venue is studying. It is beautiful Moab, Utah.
- 24:19I'm like, I want to go visit. I feel like I've been to
- 24:22Moab, but I don't know, maybe I saw it in a movie.
- 24:26So they're going through the rehearsal at the next part and they're walking up to
- 24:30the platform. David does a combat tumble. He seems like he's a jokester.
- 24:36But this is where we kind of get some information about Christine's dad,
- 24:41who apparently has been sick for the last fifteen years. I'm not sure with
- 24:45what. Probably cancer, Yeah, really probably why that's a long time to
- 24:49have cancer. It's probably like prostate cancer or something. Oh my god,
- 24:52God. So Peydon's gonna have to walk her most of the way, and
- 24:56then they're going to fetch her father to walk her to this steps, and
- 25:00then she's going to walk up to the platform to be with David. There's
- 25:03not going to be anybody else there. They're not going to have bridesmaids,
- 25:07they're not going to have groomsmen. It's just going to be them too,
- 25:10and the Efficient and Jesus on the platform, of course, which I think
- 25:14is actually very sweet. I like how Christine was like, I've shared a
- 25:17marriage for a million years, so I ain't sharing the stage with nobody.
- 25:21Yeah, true, aris fashion. Absolutely. Then we have the scene with
- 25:25her mother Annie. I think she's talking with a spin and Isabelle. I
- 25:30don't know, man, this part got me misty. Yeah, because she
- 25:36was not able to attend Christine's first marriage. Then we coult over to Christine
- 25:40explaining that you had to be a member of the church in order to attend.
- 25:44Yeah, which I didn't really know. The timeline of when her mother
- 25:47left, although I guess it was when Christine was like nineteen, so that's
- 25:51track. And I always remember the feeling around Annie in the series, like
- 25:56she was always kind of mousey and in the background, somewhat overpowered by Christine's
- 26:03big personality. I don't know, and the way she cried and just said,
- 26:07my daughter's so incredible. She's been incredible to me. She deserves to
- 26:11be happy. She's one of the best people in the world. I am
- 26:12so freaking happy for her. Just made me miss my mom. I don't
- 26:18know, made me miss my mom because my mom used to say stuff like
- 26:21that about me. She's like, I'm so fucking proud of you. You
- 26:22are so wonderful. Look at what you've done with your life. And I
- 26:26don't know, I hope Christine really realizes what a beautiful mom she has.
- 26:33Oh, totally. And it's funny because when I was watching this scene,
- 26:37I was thinking back to some of the earlier seasons because I've just been watching
- 26:40some of the older seasons in my off time just because I'm obsessed. And
- 26:44I was actually at the part in like season eight or season nine or something
- 26:47when Annie moves in with Christine in Las Vegas, and she talks about how
- 26:51she wasn't able to be at Christine's wedding and how she missed out on a
- 26:55lot of years with Christine because apparently Christine wasn't even allowed to talk to her
- 26:59mom for like several years after she left the church because she left the church.
- 27:03Yeah, because they were in a cult. I don't know. I
- 27:06guess my feeling about it at the time, although I didn't watch all those
- 27:07in between seasons, but my feeling about it was like also that Christine judged
- 27:11her mom, yes, because she was a part of that church. But
- 27:15then when things they became public and everything, then she started working on a
- 27:19relationship with her mom a little bit. She's like, Okay, this is
- 27:22stupid, let me talk to my mom, right. But yeah, back
- 27:25when she was younger, she didn't have any contact with her mom, which
- 27:27is so shitty. Yeah, poor Annie. Yeah, after this, we
- 27:33cut on over to Cody, who gives his recollection of his wedding day to
- 27:37Christine. He's like, I had a thousand yards stare you know, we
- 27:42were not very happy. He did mention that Janelle and Mary weren't really in
- 27:48a great place at the time, so things just weren't going great and it
- 27:52wasn't a great day, and so Christine really deserves to have a great day
- 27:56with a guy who's totally into her. I don't know, it seemed to
- 28:00me when he said that, it felt rehearsed a little bit for me,
- 28:03because I'm just like, I can't imagine that you actually feel that way after
- 28:07we've seen your behavior the last three years on the show. Like it's just
- 28:11he's been so angry and bitter this whole entire time. So I'm just like,
- 28:15did you really work through that or are you just saying that for the
- 28:18cameras because you're concerned about your image now? And when you think about the
- 28:21look backs which were filmed somebody told us in our comments, thank you Investigatory
- 28:26Raccoons was filmed I think in November or December of twenty twenty three, so
- 28:30just a couple of months ago. He's still bitter. Yeah, he's still
- 28:33really fucking triggered, activated and upset about Christine. So presuming I'm presuming that
- 28:37he filmed this type of the statement around the time of her weddings, I'm
- 28:41like, what's going on? So you're just faking it. That's preformant.
- 28:45Yeah. Next we have the boat ride down the Colorado River. Honey,
- 28:48when we get to see Christine chugging a beer. She's drinking now, she
- 28:52got tattoos. Yeah, she's flicking, she's a rib she's partying. Honey.
- 28:56Oh. We get to see everybody there. We see Hunter, we
- 29:00see Caleb, we see Maddie, we see all the kids, we see
- 29:03David's family, and it just seems like a really fun, happy time.
- 29:08Oh, super super sweet, and Christine's just having a ball. Everybody's having
- 29:11a great time. And then at some point Janelle gets up to have a
- 29:15speech, which I'm just like, that warmed my heart because Janelle's like getting
- 29:21weepy and she's just like, I love you guys, You're great, Like,
- 29:23I'm so happy for you, and I'm so grateful that I'm part of
- 29:26the deal. I know. I'm like, oh my god, that reminded
- 29:30me of my daughter. I I was feeling so emotional and sentimental. It's
- 29:34like, just how she's part of my deal, He's part of my package.
- 29:37Deal, and how Janelle's like, oh my gosh, I have somewhere
- 29:41in the family. I'm part of somebody's package. Deal. Thank you for
- 29:45letting me be that. Oh so fucking sweet, really nice, very emotional.
- 29:49Yeah. After the boat ride, we get to the shore and this
- 29:56is where we meet Christine's dad wreck. Yeah, oh my god. He
- 30:00gets to her hug. He's like that guy ain't shit, Not David,
- 30:03but Cody. He's bawling right now, back in fucking flagstaff. He's like,
- 30:07how could she have left me? I've lost the busin thing that I
- 30:11ever had in my life preach day that just goes right in and I'm here
- 30:15for it. Yes, And I think he whispered something to her and he
- 30:18was like, you know, I was so unhappy that you were married to
- 30:22Cody, and I'm so glad that you're out of that and you're happy and
- 30:25I get to see that. I think that's very special. Like, no
- 30:27wonder she wanted to have such a big wedding and a big old shin dig
- 30:32because she never got to have a wedding. She was fucking wearing like a
- 30:36tarp basically, with a lackluster wedding is what Cody called it. Yea,
- 30:40And I just felt bad for her, So I'm glad that she gets to
- 30:41have this big old like parade as much as it is, like she is
- 30:45a lot in her energy, but she's allowed to be because she's happy.
- 30:48Can you imagine being her father for like twenty six years watching his daughter be
- 30:55like not second but third in the family, like being sad the entire time,
- 31:00being married to such a piece of shit as Cody Brown, Right,
- 31:03And he's probably a big man back in his day. Is probably a big
- 31:06man because I think Peydon probably takes after him. He seems like a good,
- 31:08tall, motherfucking guy. Yep, cowboy kind of a guy. And
- 31:11like he's probably so thrilled for Christine. And he even tells her something like,
- 31:17you know, it passes, time passes so quickly. You know,
- 31:19for the rest of your life, you're gonna be happy. He's gonna be
- 31:22taking care of you. Make sure you enjoy it. Yeah, and she
- 31:25says something like, I know, Dad, I'm fifty one. So it's
- 31:29kind of sweet because it doesn't matter how old she is, that's still her
- 31:33Papa's still her dad, and for him, that's still his baby. Yeah,
- 31:37And how special it is that she gets to have this memorialized. Like
- 31:41I was also thinking about that when I was watching the earlier seasons, Like
- 31:42with Baby Truly, I'm like, how cool is it that she gets to
- 31:47have all of these memories with Baby Truly on film forever, from the moment
- 31:52of her birth on and then she gets to have her wedding and everything in
- 31:55all these special moments with her parents. Like, that's really cool. It
- 31:59is. It's special. Then we have the day of the wedding. Christina
- 32:05arrives at the airbnb. That's like truly like bust into the door and she's
- 32:07like, what's up everybody here? I Am just like she's pretty, she's
- 32:12pretty cool. I like her. And so they're getting ready and we have
- 32:19a scene with Aspen doing Isabelle's hair talking about whether they're supposed to call David
- 32:24their stepfather yeah, And Aspen's like, I ain't calling him that, which
- 32:28I mean, that's fair. They're adults now, right, and he's not
- 32:31really like a father figure at that point in time. Probably not, And
- 32:36I don't think he'd be the type of person to demand that from them.
- 32:39So they ultimately say, well, I mean he's just family, yeah,
- 32:42and I'm sure he would be like, just call me David, it's not
- 32:45a big deal. We also see David meeting with the guys in his suite,
- 32:52trying to get his shirt. He doesn't remember whether he's supposed to wear
- 32:54rust or whether he wears plumb, and Tony's like, these are dumb.
- 32:59Color is really hard to find these colors, My god, Tony. And
- 33:04then I got a glimpse of Mitch and as a heaterosexical male I mean female,
- 33:09I mean whatever. I was just like, what happened to Mitch?
- 33:13This glow up? I remember when he got married and his kilt and I'm
- 33:15like, okay, whatever I am. But I don't know. He like
- 33:20got really tall, he grew out his hair, he lost a little white
- 33:24and I'm like, hop hop it can. And then Aspen gorgeous, Isabelle
- 33:31gorgeous, Machelti gorgeous. I know this family's got some good genes. Even
- 33:37Peyton. I was like, damn, dude, you are fucking tall.
- 33:40He's a strapping young man. Yeah he is. And then when the girls
- 33:45got their dresses on, they had like different shades of like lilac red and
- 33:51pinkies. I'm like, oh, it's beautiful, so pretty. All of
- 33:53these girls looked so beautiful. Yep. We have that scene with Maddie and
- 34:00she is trying to say how much she loves David for Christine, and she
- 34:06starts crying and she's like, I don't want to cry. And my thought
- 34:12watching this was first of all, how sweet and how lovely. But I
- 34:15also really noticed how resistant she is to be vulnerable on camera, which got
- 34:22me thinking, like, wow, like, these kids probably have some trauma
- 34:28left over for being so terribly exploited totally for years and years that she doesn't
- 34:35even want to cry on camera and give that bit of herself away, Oh
- 34:38for sure. And she's Janelle's kid, and Janelle doesn't like to be emotional
- 34:42either. See all of that on top of it, but I did really
- 34:45like that she was there and just like getting emotional about it and just showing
- 34:49her support for Christine. I just love it. It's like such a good
- 34:52fuck you to Cody and Robin. Also that Janelle's kids and everybody they're all
- 34:57supporting Christine. It's great. Also, I love the fact that this is
- 35:00going to be the biggest, most beautiful wedding that the family has ever seen,
- 35:06and the fact that it wasn't Robin's wedding, the fact that it's Christine's
- 35:10wedding is just a beautiful thing. It's so great. And I was wondering
- 35:14to myself, do Robin and Cody watch these episodes? Do you think they're
- 35:16gonna watch? You know they're watching? Really oh, I think they're going
- 35:21to make a point to not watch it. Du we don't care bitter as
- 35:24watching. I think they're gonna watch it, really yeah, Because if I'm
- 35:29Robin and I'm the last one standing with the prize that is Cody Brown,
- 35:34and I'm looking upon this lavish, beautiful, breath taking wedding and all of
- 35:40the family that refuses to spend any time with me because of me. If
- 35:45I'm watching that, I'm I'm dying inside. Oh, totally. She is
- 35:49so jealous, so envious because Cody can't give her that he's fucking broke his
- 35:53hell, he's on his way to being broke as out. They're going to
- 35:57start tap dance and I'm telling you so yeah. They are going to start
- 36:00trying to manufacture drama and the storyline, because what else do they have besides
- 36:05Cody's unhinged ranting. I don't know. It's either going to be that or
- 36:07they're going to pretend to be good people. Like they're gonna which is boring,
- 36:12the switch yeah, which is boring, and that they care about their
- 36:15image. They're narks. They want people to like them. Really, I
- 36:19don't think Cody has cared the last three seasons whether anybody fucking likes him.
- 36:23He has been acting like a hysterical person, just answering myself. He's been
- 36:31acting like a monster. Oh yeah, on camera, he knows it.
- 36:35He even says, I think at some point in this episode he's like,
- 36:37I've been pissed off for three years, so he recognizes it. Sorry,
- 36:43I didn't mean to cut you off. Robin cares. Yeah, So I
- 36:45think Robin's gonna make him care and be like, dude, I'm getting reamed
- 36:50online right now, Like we are all getting fucked because of your antics.
- 36:53So let's just pretend like we're good people and like we're happy for then that
- 36:57ruins the show. And I'm just saying, like we're watching these specials together.
- 37:02We're obviously all we're all most of us are women here, We've got
- 37:07some men, but like, we all get it. We want this for
- 37:08Christine. She really deserves it. So we're gonna watch these episodes. We're
- 37:13gonna talk about it. But if you want to project this out for an
- 37:15entire season of Christine being happy, Janelle being happy, and Cody and Robin
- 37:21being happy, nobody's gonna watch. Truly, nobody's gonna watch. I mean,
- 37:24yeah, what do we want? We want drama, we want destruction,
- 37:28we want honesty. And that's the thing. It wouldn't even take that
- 37:30much. All it would really require is for them to start telling the whole
- 37:35truth and also to start being litigious. Oh and filing some lawsuits and opening
- 37:40the books like that is really all it would take for us to be all
- 37:44in. But if what they're gonna do, and this production house is the
- 37:46fucking worst, I know, if what they're gonna do is just give us
- 37:52another season where we're watching Christine fall in love with David after we already watched
- 37:57them get married oh and heard about their origins. I mean, I don't
- 38:01really know how we saved this show, right, Like, nobody wants to
- 38:05watch that even these wedding special this wedding special, I found myself getting a
- 38:09little annoyed with Christine, Like I'm glad that she's happy. I'm not,
- 38:14you know, ragged in on her for that at all. But I felt
- 38:16like she was being a little performative. She was being a little petty because
- 38:21she knows Kristin, Cody, and Robin are probably watching this, and she
- 38:24wants to show off and she wants to be flamboyant about it. And that's
- 38:28great, But like, I don't want to see that for the entirety of
- 38:31season nineteen either, Like I really don't. That's great that you're happy and
- 38:36you're in love, that's awesome, but it just feels ugh. I don't.
- 38:40I mean, I agree, I don't want to. I don't think
- 38:43that's going to make a great show either, just watching her and David date.
- 38:46But at the same time, I don't agree with you about how she
- 38:50was acting in this episode because I think she's so in love. I mean
- 38:53the times when she just dipped into and curled into his chest, like when
- 38:59she bites her lower lip, like when she's just dreamy eyed looking at him,
- 39:04like she is so happy and so in love with him, and I
- 39:07was just like I really felt it. I don't think that was performative.
- 39:09I think that she's she's she's an older mckelt. Honestly, I think she's
- 39:15she's the older mckelt She tries to be the life of the party. She
- 39:19tries to be big and bombastic. That's her happy place where she wants to
- 39:22be. It doesn't always translate to the people that are watching. Yeah,
- 39:27but I don't know. I think she's really I think it's genuine. Yeah,
- 39:30I mean it is, it is genuine. But I think there's coming,
- 39:32like there's some you bitter, Betty, I am a little bitter.
- 39:36I don't know, Like maybe I'm jaded, but I'm just like you jaded
- 39:38at twenty seven years old, happily married for seven years. Why would you
- 39:42be jaded at somebody else's storytale like fairytale ending? I don't know. I
- 39:46was talking with Ethel about it. She felt the same way. She's like,
- 39:49Christine's annoying the fuck out of me. Really, do you guys feel
- 39:51the same way out there? Are you annoying? I mean she's annoying.
- 39:54Yeah, that mckelt is annoying. But I also think she's happy. She's
- 39:59happy, And I saw the performance during the season. I saw her going
- 40:04out of her way to be petty and to make jobs and to kind of
- 40:07set up scenarios where people start talking. But I didn't see a lot of
- 40:09that in this episode. But that's just me. Yeah, I mean I'm,
- 40:14like I said, I'm happy for her, so like that's great,
- 40:15and like she's allowed to be too much and she's allowed to be a little
- 40:20over the top, Like that's cool and everything. I just don't want to
- 40:22see that for the entirety of season nine. Yeah, and that's what has
- 40:25me worried. Yeah, that's really what has me worried. Yeah. Well,
- 40:29we end part one with them heading on over to the venue again beautiful
- 40:34bridesmaid dresses, and we see Christine about to go into the when she goes
- 40:38into the John Wayne room, but then she comes out and she sits down
- 40:42on the floor and she's just taking a minute for herself and she's like,
- 40:44you know what, this feels so wonderful. I hope every bride feels the
- 40:49same way on their wedding day. And she just seems really happy. Yeah.
- 40:53I'm excited to see like the actual wedding. Like I'm sure we're going
- 40:57to see a lot of it. We're going to see the whole thing.
- 41:00You see their vows, which I'm kind of excited for, babe. We'll
- 41:02see the after party. Although did you see the preview with her grinding on
- 41:06David. Well, we had to addressed this before. I'm like, I
- 41:07feel like Christine is giving that sixty year old man a lap dance. She
- 41:12is she with, Well, yeah, you think they've been fucking of course
- 41:17with trashy, Yes, oh yes, I do. I mean you asked
- 41:22the question, I would have to answer honestly, absolutely, they are fucking.
- 41:25But my thing is she moved into the town home in September of twenty
- 41:30twenty two. She meets David in November something, because she said it was
- 41:36December, but that was a lie. So November of twenty twenty two they
- 41:38start dating and they're immediately committed to each other. When does she leave the
- 41:43town home to move in with David or does David move into her town home?
- 41:46When does this happen? Right? I think she moves in with him
- 41:50a few months later, So maybe she kept her town home and she's renting
- 41:52it out. That would be the smart thing to do. I think she
- 41:54was renting it in the first place, so she gave up her lease or
- 41:57she subled it. But then they just a home that wasn't ready to occupy.
- 42:02I don't know when they moved into that home, so like, where
- 42:05were they living in the interim? Oh my god, are we gonna have
- 42:07to see all of that? Yes, it is an We're gonna see her
- 42:12move in David very quickly. Everybody's gonna get to judge that for sure,
- 42:16and we'll probably hear from Cody and see what he thinks about that totally.
- 42:20I mean, David's house is probably going to be like an upgrade though,
- 42:22compared to everything that Christine's been in, because he's got money, He's got
- 42:25his own construction business. He's not just some bogus entrepreneur like Cort, right,
- 42:30So I mean, maybe we'll get to the coins then, like maybe
- 42:35maybe we'll talk about maybe what money she has or whatever. Maybe we'll get
- 42:38to see Janelle untangle her assets. I'm just telling you, tilc I mean,
- 42:43we stand before a crossroads. Now. If we go down this road
- 42:47and we just talk about how happy everybody is and how Christine is living her
- 42:52great life and cooking her beautiful meals, and how Janelle is gardening, and
- 42:57how Mary is doing her B and B, nobody cares no, Like we're
- 43:01we're as people, as human beings, we're very happy for them, Yeah,
- 43:06but as viewers, we're going to start snoring. The other road is
- 43:09to encourage these folks to start opening books, having conversations, telling the truth,
- 43:15and opening up to the audience. Now, if you go down that
- 43:19road, this franchise has legs, Like you could just this will be our
- 43:22new normal. We could have maybe two to five more years of great content
- 43:27and great ratings. Yes, but it all depends on you. Yep.
- 43:30And same thing with Cody and Robin, Like if we're just gonna see them
- 43:34make fake storylines with their stupid kids and like it's gonna be all a bunch
- 43:37of bullshit as opposed to them being honest about what they're doing with their house,
- 43:40the renovations, if they're going to declare bankruptcy, like we want to
- 43:44see all this shit, Yes, and we deserve it. We deserve it.
- 43:47Yes, eighteen fucking season, nineteen seasons of this there investments, we
- 43:52have made, the sacrifices we have made you for oh right. The preview
- 43:59for next week, we have Christine putting on her dress. She's still in
- 44:02love with it, and I just have to say, I gotta be a
- 44:05hater. That dress is too loose. Somebody needs somebody needed to what do
- 44:09you what do you take it? Nippit tucket? Ye, something needs to
- 44:13be a little I didn't like the dress, to be quite honest with you,
- 44:15but I love that she loves the dress. God such a hater,
- 44:20I know. We see her walking down the beautiful aisle to her living man
- 44:24up platform. He can't wait to marry her. He wanted to eat.
- 44:29Oh yeah, and so she's she's walking to him. We see Cody talking
- 44:32about his wedding to Christine and Robin shuts him up, like, shut the
- 44:36shut, shut the flock. Do you ever shut up? Man? And
- 44:42then we see the sexy reception. Yeah, with Hunter partying. Everybody's partying,
- 44:45everybody's having a great time. I just love that we're in our liquor
- 44:50era, We're in our intoxicato era where we get to see all these Mormons
- 44:53just having fun, handy drank and getting tattoos, having a great time.
- 45:00The Browns they're just like us, they are just like Well, any final
- 45:05thoughts before we I can't believe we got fifteen minutes out of that episode,
- 45:12but we're talking about this. We're like, how are we gonna talk about
- 45:15all of this? There was not much there. I'm hoping like next wedding
- 45:20special is gonna be better. There's gonna be more cringing moments with that lap
- 45:22dance and all that. She's going to be all over David. Oh God,
- 45:25give it to me. I love that shit. You know, they're
- 45:28a honeymoon. There's gonna be banging. The more cringe the better. Do
- 45:31you think he has to use like Siaalis or Viaga or anything. I mean,
- 45:35he's like almost sixty. Yeah, I have no idea how that works,
- 45:38but I'm just going to err on the side of he's probably got some
- 45:43blue pills. He wants to make a night of it. He can't just
- 45:45be like, you know, one and done and hopefully my dick gets hard
- 45:49or maybe it's like halfway hard and I've got to try and shove it in
- 45:52there and move it around a little bit, like he wants to make sure,
- 45:54like I can perform one more wood and Yeah, so maybe some blue
- 45:58pills give her the out of her life. Honey. Oh my god,
- 46:00do you think he focks are real good? Do you think he like eats
- 46:02her box and stuff? And I think he probably has to eat her box,
- 46:06yeah, because I don't know that he fos are, what do you
- 46:08really well, I don't know. I just can't imagine. Maybe so,
- 46:12I mean, it's not that much older than me. Would truth be told?
- 46:15And I'm a freak. I mean, okay, I don't your mother
- 46:17in law is a freakingny. I don't know. I could tell yeah and
- 46:22teach you be known, but I just can't see this dude. I don't
- 46:25know. Maybe he's fucking freaky. Dude. Sometimes the older men, like,
- 46:30listen, I work in the medical field and I'm scheduling exams for all
- 46:32these old men, and some exams we have to tell him no sex for
- 46:37three days. And I'm telling you these seventy five eighty year old eighty five
- 46:40I had a ninety year old guy complained to me. He's like, really,
- 46:44no sex for three days. I was like, yes, sir.
- 46:45He's like, wow, I'm gonna have to tell my wife he was dead
- 46:49after he was joking. No, he was just with the young chippy on
- 46:52the phone. But some of the seventy five year olds and stuff. They're
- 46:57banging, but what about their hips? Yeah, but they could still they
- 47:00lie down, they're palvis down. That's shocking to me. I mean,
- 47:06I don't know, but I mean, I can tell you that at my
- 47:07ripe old age it's sexually active, sexually active bebe probably get it in you.
- 47:14I'm just saying raw. So I mean it doesn't so I could see.
- 47:16I mean, I don't know, I could I don't know, girl
- 47:20insummation. I hope Christine got a deep dicken on the night of her nuptials.
- 47:25She deserves it. And you know, Cody was terrible in bed after
- 47:30he got his children from her. It was just pump and dump and keep
- 47:34it moving. If that pity sex obligations. He wasn't eating the box,
- 47:38no, no foreplay, no interesting positions, no like sex swing, cod
- 47:46had no toys. Do you think Christine's getting freaky? Do you think she's
- 47:51learned a few things after yeaing him? I mean, I don't know,
- 47:54I think so. I hope. I hope so me too. Maybe they're
- 47:58doing some Comma sutra like I'm Jenny AND's my god. Well, so we'll
- 48:04be back next week to obviously wrap up the Sister Wives season. I know,
- 48:08oh gosh, before we go into Sister Wives rewinds. After that,
