- 0:08Speaker 2: The World's a village in podcast.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to Patriots Unfiltered.
- 0:19Speaker 3: So it was really nice to see once again in
- 0:22Speaker 3: a big event, our country puts the desport forward and
- 0:24Speaker 3: shows you, Oh, no.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Maybe we do know something about what we're doing sports
- 0:28Speaker 4: and drinking.
- 0:29Speaker 5: Hell yeah, there's a lot of negativity going into this
- 0:32Speaker 5: that because it's socked different country who happens to speak
- 0:35Speaker 5: English uses pitch to describe.
- 0:38Speaker 6: That I that I have interacted with.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Okay, and you think they're wrong.
- 0:41Speaker 6: No, I just don't think that that's what we call it.
- 0:44Speaker 6: Like you're an American, you you're born in America, you're
- 0:47Speaker 6: an American soccer fan. And then all of a sudden
- 0:50Speaker 6: we have to hear, oh, they were on the pitch today,
- 0:52Speaker 6: but you're not from Britain.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Dude, Like that I understand because in France they don't
- 0:56Speaker 2: call it a pitch. They probably call it.
- 0:57Speaker 1: A This is Patriot's Unfiltered.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Presented by Toyota's official website.
- 1:03Speaker 2: For deals, buy a Toyota dot com. All right, welcome
- 1:07Speaker 2: the Paget's unfiltered. It is Thursday here at Jillette Stadium,
- 1:12Speaker 2: and Deuce is out today. He's the Summer of Duce
- 1:15Speaker 2: begins today.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Summer of Deuce.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Okay, so he's out, but Alex is here, and Evan's here,
- 1:21Speaker 5: and Paul's here, and I'm here and Alex is in
- 1:23Speaker 5: the booth. So we've got another show to wrap up
- 1:26Speaker 5: this week. We've got France and Norway coming to town tomorrow,
- 1:31Speaker 5: which is going to be a big game. I hope
- 1:32Speaker 5: everyone plays, you know, because I know I think both of.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Them are wrapped up there.
- 1:37Speaker 4: It's a big money ticket, yeah, you know, for the fans.
- 1:41Speaker 2: For the fans.
- 1:41Speaker 5: I hope Holland and Beppe play, and Pope him too.
- 1:48Speaker 6: I think that they will play, but maybe not the
- 1:50Speaker 6: whole game.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 6: That seems to be how a lot of teams are
- 1:52Speaker 6: handling it. As they play like a half for a
- 1:55Speaker 6: little bit, just to keep their endurance up and stuff.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Because you don't want him to sit around for two
- 1:59Speaker 6: weeks waiting for the knockout. Today, it's just start.
- 2:02Speaker 2: My Red Sox blew another one yesterday.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Oh I'm not gonna lie Fred.
- 2:05Speaker 3: When I was driving home and listening to Felder and
- 2:08Speaker 3: Man's cackle about that.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I was immediately thinking of you.
- 2:11Speaker 5: But and my guy Marcello Meyer is probably the reason
- 2:14Speaker 5: why Marcello, you know like that that era, they would
- 2:18Speaker 5: have been out of the inning.
- 2:19Speaker 6: It was a terrible The fact that you know that
- 2:22Speaker 6: is I was listening on the radio, and that blows
- 2:24Speaker 6: my mind.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Oh I'm listening. I'm into it.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Not a single person knew that besides you.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Oh, I knew what.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Really, there's not a single person that I know that's
- 2:32Speaker 6: paying attention to this team anymore.
- 2:35Speaker 3: You know what I do is I watched just enough,
- 2:39Speaker 3: not necessarily live, but I followed just enough to know
- 2:43Speaker 3: what the story of every game is. Just in case,
- 2:46Speaker 3: you know, as Fred likes to call the sad holiday
- 2:48Speaker 3: feeling hostful.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Opportunities, you have a reason.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I want to make sure that I at least have
- 2:53Speaker 3: an idea of how the season.
- 2:55Speaker 6: You could tell me that they won ten to nothing
- 2:57Speaker 6: or lost ten to nothing yesterday. I wouldn't know if
- 2:59Speaker 6: you were right around.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I care, I care, I care. Fred just can't
- 3:02Speaker 4: quit the redsu I can't care.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I can't quit you. Yeah, all right, what.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Was a lot better when you do honestly.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Just like they can't hurt you anymore. No, they're fourteen
- 3:13Speaker 3: under five. They were in dead last place in the
- 3:15Speaker 3: American League.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:18Speaker 7: Better than anyone.
- 3:19Speaker 3: It's still you know, team that's behind them is the
- 3:22Speaker 3: team they just lost two ut.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Of three to two.
- 3:24Speaker 5: They actually had the same amount of wins. The other
- 3:27Speaker 5: team has more losses because they've played more games. All right, anyway,
- 3:32Speaker 5: all quiet on the Patriots front, right, nothing really going on.
- 3:35Speaker 4: This is quiet.
- 3:36Speaker 6: People getting in.
- 3:37Speaker 2: We do have a press box food ranking email, okay
- 3:45Speaker 2: that we can talk about.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Is this like from someone, Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Jimmy Kemski over at Philly Voice dot com. Uh, this
- 3:53Speaker 5: is this is sent to us by Mike in Westford
- 3:58Speaker 5: and uh but it's.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Jimmy Kempski from Philly Voice dot com.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I'm I can't really yeah, it's this is just for
- 4:06Speaker 4: Everan and Fred.
- 4:08Speaker 5: He ranked the NFL press box food spreads from worst
- 4:11Speaker 5: to best. Patriots fell at number eighteen and we're dock
- 4:15Speaker 5: points for late serving of food and drink two thirty.
- 4:20Speaker 6: This is like actual, Like, oh yeah, I thought it
- 4:22Speaker 6: was just based on.
- 4:23Speaker 5: The food mystery pizza as a postgame meal and no
- 4:27Speaker 5: postgame coffee.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I didn't know they did that. That's not the mystery
- 4:30Speaker 2: pizza is a fact bonus points for granted dude to
- 4:32Speaker 2: providing meals for visiting press during joint practices.
- 4:36Speaker 5: So that's something to hang our hats on. So yes,
- 4:39Speaker 5: so this is less about.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Pizza.
- 4:42Speaker 7: You don't know what's in the box.
- 4:44Speaker 6: No, no, it's it's I think it's in house catering.
- 4:48Speaker 7: So we're eating pizza eleven pm.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Yeah you are not. Every game ends at alex.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's good to have.
- 4:58Speaker 7: By the time you're wrapping up.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I don't anyway.
- 5:01Speaker 6: I think it's mystery pizza because it's unclear where it's
- 5:03Speaker 6: from and it's.
- 5:06Speaker 2: So it's not no one except me, right, Who do
- 5:10Speaker 2: you think was last last?
- 5:12Speaker 6: What do you last MetLife Stadium?
- 5:14Speaker 4: No?
- 5:15Speaker 6: No, then this person's wrong.
- 5:17Speaker 4: You used to have good food.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Well i'll talk about that in the second. Who do
- 5:22Speaker 5: you think was last in the NFL for? According to
- 5:24Speaker 5: this guest Jimmy.
- 5:25Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't agree with Jimmy Clemsky already.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Cincinnati Jets are wrong. Cincinnati Cincinnati is wrong. That's the Jaguars.
- 5:34Speaker 5: According to Jimmy Klemsky.
- 5:36Speaker 6: I've only been there once and it was.
- 5:39Speaker 4: You keep saying Jimmy Klemsky like I'm to know who
- 5:41Speaker 4: that is.
- 5:42Speaker 5: I just think it's a funny name to say. Jimmy
- 5:44Speaker 5: Klemsky came up with this.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You know who the hell is?
- 5:47Speaker 3: There's too many things going inn I take a guest
- 5:50Speaker 3: for one. Yeah, and this is going back at least
- 5:52Speaker 3: now fifteen years, because I haven't regularly traveled with you, right,
- 5:56Speaker 3: But I would say Tampa Bay was the best I ever.
- 5:58Speaker 2: That would be a good one.
- 6:00Speaker 5: He's got the Cowboys number one, so I haven't been
- 6:02Speaker 5: at the New Cowboys.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Say that's one of the few stadiums.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Buccaneers is number seven. They were that. They're tremendous good.
- 6:10Speaker 2: He's got the Bills at eight, which I agree with.
- 6:11Speaker 2: They do all the job. They know how to eat
- 6:14Speaker 2: in Buffalo.
- 6:14Speaker 4: They work hard too. They work feedlay the hits.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I agree every thing about buffaloes. They don't go off
- 6:20Speaker 2: foo fee. It's like I expect wings. They got wings.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah, you know it's tremendous. Chocolate chip cookies, Yeah, well
- 6:27Speaker 3: they used to.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 6:28Speaker 5: There's always candy. There's always cut chocolate. There's the candy
- 6:32Speaker 5: is good. Yeah, there's always some type of beef, you know,
- 6:35Speaker 5: so they do it right.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Yeah, they do get jobs.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Now, good job.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Here's here's one thing.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I disagree with them about this whole although no, I
- 6:47Speaker 5: actually I do. So they've got the Steelers at twenty eight.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Now the Steelers set up is small.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I don't remember the Steelers very well.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I put them up there with the Bills in terms
- 6:59Speaker 5: of they know how to serve press.
- 7:01Speaker 4: They do, like I would agree. It's always like something
- 7:04Speaker 4: that party.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's a lot.
- 7:07Speaker 5: They're a nacho bar, but you can make nacho so
- 7:12Speaker 5: they have I disagree with the Steelers ranking. I would
- 7:15Speaker 5: rank that higher. Now they've got the Giants and Jets.
- 7:18Speaker 5: You would say, oh, they're both the same.
- 7:20Speaker 2: They're not. They're not. Each team spends what they want.
- 7:23Speaker 5: So they've got the Giants at twelve and the Jets
- 7:25Speaker 5: of twenty five, which I agree with.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Yeah, the Jets should be at the bottom.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 3: So they at the Old Metal Lands, they actually had
- 7:32Speaker 3: pretty good food and they had a good variety.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Now the Old Metal Lands with the Giants, you're right,
- 7:37Speaker 5: they had that whole room. They had the good humor,
- 7:41Speaker 5: ice finders, you get all the good humor. They had
- 7:43Speaker 5: a deli bar and then they had their aunt so
- 7:46Speaker 5: you could get whatever you wanted there. Popcorn Giants, they've
- 7:52Speaker 5: gone down though.
- 7:55Speaker 4: I'm not qualified. I haven't been in any of these places.
- 7:57Speaker 2: They don't do that.
- 7:58Speaker 6: The one they made twelve year last year that did
- 8:00Speaker 6: step up their game tiny bits. They they brought in
- 8:03Speaker 6: bagels from like a New York bagel place. Yeah, and
- 8:06Speaker 6: they were fresh bagels, part of the breakfast spread.
- 8:10Speaker 5: I always think that every every team should have something
- 8:14Speaker 5: that is like a signature. So for example, the Giants
- 8:17Speaker 5: they have the rice pudding with the cinnamon sugar on it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: That's kind of like they're.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Getting signature to them as a team, like the region.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, for us, it's the chowder. For us, it's the chowder.
- 8:29Speaker 7: Rolls sometimes too. And steak tips are regional, Like I.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Don't think they're everywhere, don't you think?
- 8:34Speaker 7: No, I learned that they're not.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Oh okay, I stand corrected.
- 8:40Speaker 7: They have them. Also, they don't steak tips.
- 8:42Speaker 5: It's Krispy Kreme donuts because I remember that, yep, But
- 8:47Speaker 5: I I don't remember everything like they have.
- 8:50Speaker 2: The forty nine ers of twenty seven, I think they
- 8:52Speaker 2: were great.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Horrible ranking. Yes, this whole ranking, because.
- 8:55Speaker 7: You guys should do your own rankings.
- 8:58Speaker 6: I don't like, I don't care about the timing and
- 9:01Speaker 6: like all this other stuff that this puts in there.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You've got to remember some of these guys.
- 9:04Speaker 5: And I don't know if Jimmy Klemsky is one of them,
- 9:07Speaker 5: but a lot of these guys, this is their one
- 9:09Speaker 5: square meal for the week.
- 9:10Speaker 4: I thought.
- 9:14Speaker 3: You went from really giving this guy a lot of
- 9:16Speaker 3: credit to taking a rocket shot out.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Oh. I don't know, but like they get there the
- 9:20Speaker 5: moment the press box open and they want to eat
- 9:23Speaker 5: because they're starving.
- 9:25Speaker 6: All I care about is size of spread, quality of food.
- 9:29Speaker 6: I don't really care about options for me. Yeah, I
- 9:33Speaker 6: would agree with Evan on that timing and all these
- 9:35Speaker 6: other things that he brought up.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I don't I think all those things are important. But
- 9:39Speaker 3: if you're ranking the press box food, I want to
- 9:41Speaker 3: know what you think of.
- 9:42Speaker 2: The food of the food.
- 9:45Speaker 5: You know, as Paul said, the Buccaneers were always good.
- 9:48Speaker 5: They always had the carving station, and they had all
- 9:51Speaker 5: different stations.
- 9:53Speaker 6: A lot of them have carving stations now. Actually it's
- 9:56Speaker 6: not that it's not unique anymore.
- 9:58Speaker 5: They were and they teamed up with a local culinary
- 10:01Speaker 5: school and that's why, like their food was so good.
- 10:04Speaker 6: So what's the top five?
- 10:06Speaker 5: So the top five is Cowboys, Falcons which I can't remember, Texans,
- 10:11Speaker 5: which it was okay.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Usually it's something it's barbecuing or something like that.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It's really yeah, it's okay. Four was the Seahawks.
- 10:20Speaker 6: I've never been there this year will be my first time.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And five with the Chargers, which I can't remember.
- 10:25Speaker 6: It's like like so far, yeah, yeah, So I would
- 10:27Speaker 6: say Dallas is definitely a good shout. I think Dallas
- 10:31Speaker 6: was really good.
- 10:33Speaker 2: What about Vikings? They have the Vikings at eleven.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Well, we were there on Thanksgiving, so that's so that's
- 10:40Speaker 6: a little bit of a of a different thing like
- 10:42Speaker 6: we were.
- 10:43Speaker 4: That's true when we were in Denver.
- 10:46Speaker 6: For Christmas Eve, they really went all out because they
- 10:49Speaker 6: we were working on a holiday and they they you know,
- 10:51Speaker 6: went all out. I would say San Francisco's got to
- 10:55Speaker 6: be up there.
- 10:55Speaker 5: And here's what I vehemently disagree with. We're at eighteen,
- 10:59Speaker 5: but they've got the Dolphins at seventeen. The Dolphins is garbage.
- 11:03Speaker 5: It's garbage.
- 11:04Speaker 6: The whole press boxes, it's terrible.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I don't know how they get there seventeen.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I would agree that the press boxes garbage.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I don't remember much about the food, so it probably
- 11:14Speaker 3: wasn't probably didn't move the needle.
- 11:16Speaker 2: It's terrible, absolutely terrible.
- 11:18Speaker 6: I really like Pittsburgh.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Pittsburgh below Pittsburgh is good. Kansas City
- 11:26Speaker 2: the Broncos at fourteen. The Broncos have a very good offering.
- 11:30Speaker 6: They do a.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Lot of them.
- 11:31Speaker 6: But we've been but we've been there for some Christmas
- 11:34Speaker 6: eve A playoff AFC Championship game. We've been there for
- 11:37Speaker 6: some big games reasons.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Okay, maybe that's why.
- 11:39Speaker 4: But that's that's that's big friend.
- 11:41Speaker 3: I mean, I'll tell you the amount of the level
- 11:43Speaker 3: of seriousness with which you two were taking this.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Is just I'm going to be bothering you guys. Just
- 11:51Speaker 7: these I know.
- 11:51Speaker 2: And they've got the Raiders at thirteen.
- 11:54Speaker 6: So I disagree with that because I think the Raiders
- 11:56Speaker 6: have the most like grabbing go type of stuff. They
- 12:00Speaker 6: have a candy spread that is out of this world.
- 12:03Speaker 6: I'm not going to rat anybody out by name, but
- 12:06Speaker 6: some of our people hoarded a little bit too much
- 12:08Speaker 6: of it one time, and I was like, guys, let's
- 12:11Speaker 6: let's keep it within check.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Normally I would make fun of Alex right now, but
- 12:14Speaker 3: I'm sure Alex wasn't there because that's Vegas.
- 12:17Speaker 6: So he opened his bag and it was just like
- 12:19Speaker 6: ten boxes of candy spread.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I would make fun of Reese too, but I know Mike.
- 12:25Speaker 4: He just brings his.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Own Nobody brings his own snacks like Mike Reese to
- 12:29Speaker 3: a game.
- 12:30Speaker 8: I love his little photo he posts every day from
- 12:32Speaker 8: the press box. He has like a very balanced so
- 12:35Speaker 8: like there's always sweets, but there's like always an apple
- 12:37Speaker 8: or something, but.
- 12:38Speaker 4: They're always like Trader Joe's type sweet.
- 12:42Speaker 7: He's on the multi grain like.
- 12:46Speaker 5: So I think, rather for the newsletter, rather than coming
- 12:48Speaker 5: out with, you know, a ranking, what we should do
- 12:51Speaker 5: is come out with you a report card.
- 12:54Speaker 8: You like our Michelin pursuer, going to like a point
- 12:59Speaker 8: to too, like ambiance, you know spread, there's a taste.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Evan doesn't want to do any of that. I just
- 13:06Speaker 3: want to say I want to.
- 13:08Speaker 8: Have like a dairy free option that's specific to Evan,
- 13:12Speaker 8: and he'll weigh in on it'll be like a weekly.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Makes me like it because of that nowadays, but I
- 13:19Speaker 6: I've been to I keep track in a little spreadsheet.
- 13:22Speaker 6: I've been to twenty six out of thirty stadiums so far.
- 13:26Speaker 6: I'm going to Seattle for the first time, so I'm
- 13:28Speaker 6: going to check that one off, which is pretty cool.
- 13:30Speaker 6: But I'm getting closer and closer to all thirty. So ironically,
- 13:36Speaker 6: Carolina is I've never been to Carolina, Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Which is just eeric.
- 13:40Speaker 6: I don't assume that's one of the better stadiums, just
- 13:43Speaker 6: so it's a random one.
- 13:44Speaker 2: But it's okay that the location of the press box
- 13:47Speaker 2: is one of the best in the league.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, so I had Seattle this year.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Seattle's never been to so far, obviously, because since it's open,
- 13:55Speaker 6: that place is awesome.
- 13:56Speaker 4: That's funny that that's I figured you had been there.
- 13:59Speaker 6: No, because it hasn't been in the rotation yet Seattle,
- 14:05Speaker 6: so fi Carolina, and I've actually never been to Houston.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Houston's a good, good indoors stadium. I always I always
- 14:13Speaker 3: put an asterisk because the indoors to me is not
- 14:16Speaker 3: as good. It's okay, but it's a good that's a
- 14:18Speaker 3: good place to watch it. Fred, You've been to everyone, right, yes,
- 14:22Speaker 3: even the new ones, to all of them. I so
- 14:25Speaker 3: far is one of mine that I haven't seen Vegas.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I haven't seen Veas in the new Dallas.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Vegas is exactly how a stadium should be.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I think the outside of the Vegas is awesome.
- 14:39Speaker 6: I think the inside is well, I don't realize it
- 14:42Speaker 6: because it's uh perfect press box location and open air
- 14:47Speaker 6: press box inside that's not which is a double whammie.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Press box is high and on the fifty yard line. Perfect.
- 14:54Speaker 6: There's an elevator that goes right down to the field level,
- 14:58Speaker 6: and the lock rooms in the press rooms and stuff
- 15:01Speaker 6: like that are like right there. So everything is like
- 15:04Speaker 6: it's not like you have to walk across the entire
- 15:06Speaker 6: stadium to get to the postgame access.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I would say the stadium in that regard, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 5: access of the press box to the postulerfield. Okay, probably
- 15:18Speaker 5: that's one. A one is green Bay.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Green Bay walking.
- 15:26Speaker 7: Because it's just so old Buffalo.
- 15:28Speaker 4: You have to go outside, you have to fight through
- 15:30Speaker 4: the fans. Yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Oh that's a nut. That will be your first one,
- 15:33Speaker 2: not not anymore, hopefully. Yeah, that's a new one.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Yeah, that that.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Is bad obviously, the new stadium.
- 15:39Speaker 6: Especially when the Patriots win the game.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're walking through they're all.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I've had people I like, you know, be like, hey, maybe.
- 15:52Speaker 4: That's a good every week of a road game.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Like Lett Stadium's actual account posted today, I guess in
- 16:00Speaker 8: your post had a ranking system from the Europeans.
- 16:03Speaker 7: Gellette is ranked first of.
- 16:05Speaker 8: All the World Cup stadiums for fan fan experience experience.
- 16:09Speaker 7: That's great and so Fi you wouldn't think this is.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Last last, that's weird.
- 16:14Speaker 7: NRG is second to last, MetLife is ninth out of eleven.
- 16:20Speaker 6: So it kind of feels like that.
- 16:21Speaker 7: It's Gellette, Arrowhead and Atlanta on the top.
- 16:25Speaker 5: So they didn't rank the Canadian or Mexican stadium I
- 16:29Speaker 5: guess not, Okay.
- 16:30Speaker 6: It kind of feels like they like the outdoor stadiums
- 16:33Speaker 6: a little bit more than some of the domes. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 6: Like they're not really super impressed by like so Fi. Yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 6: even though I think that it's probably.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Great technically so far as an outdoor stadium.
- 16:43Speaker 6: I know, but it's not there's a roof over its head.
- 16:47Speaker 6: It's fabric, yeah, but it's I think they they are more.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Walls technically, although three quarters of it is underground.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Yeah, they're more impressed. It seems like the Gillettes.
- 16:57Speaker 8: I will say the giant video board for the World
- 17:01Speaker 8: Cup presentation of the game looks really cool, like before
- 17:04Speaker 8: a game when you have the flags on the field
- 17:06Speaker 8: and you're doing the anthems and stuff.
- 17:09Speaker 7: Just the look of that and the photos I've seen,
- 17:11Speaker 7: it looks a lot.
- 17:12Speaker 6: True.
- 17:12Speaker 2: It does look good. It does look good.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Andrew so doesn't like what we're doing. He says, I
- 17:19Speaker 5: love Patriots Unfiltered. I was enjoying listening last week as
- 17:22Speaker 5: Paul Eman induce, we're having a great football conversation. You
- 17:27Speaker 5: Fred broke in and said, okay, enough football talk and
- 17:30Speaker 5: steered the conversation a silly movie discussion. I get the
- 17:33Speaker 5: sense that you think people love your off season non
- 17:36Speaker 5: football banter, but I don't think that's the case.
- 17:39Speaker 2: The truth is, you guys aren't the ladies.
- 17:41Speaker 5: From the view, you aren't interesting when it comes to
- 17:44Speaker 5: non football talk. People like me tune into your show
- 17:47Speaker 5: to hear about the Patriots. So please keep it to that.
- 17:51Speaker 5: What's his name, Andrew? And Andrew you what we should
- 17:54Speaker 5: talk about? Yeah, I would invite you to email in
- 17:56Speaker 5: whether on the Patriots, and you know that mean not
- 18:00Speaker 5: something that we've talked about. I don't know every show
- 18:03Speaker 5: for the last one hundred and eleven, that's your opinion.
- 18:05Speaker 5: I mean I don't see any less emails or calls
- 18:07Speaker 5: when we're talking non football.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 3: No, I mean a lot of people like to say,
- 18:12Speaker 3: you know, they shut up in dribble crowd, you know,
- 18:14Speaker 3: And I get it.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I would never do this during the season, but.
- 18:16Speaker 6: You know, I understand what he's saying. I just don't
- 18:20Speaker 6: know what. It's June twenty fifth, the team that we've beaten,
- 18:24Speaker 6: the mini camp horse to death. Like I just give
- 18:27Speaker 6: us a topic, you know, give us something to talk
- 18:29Speaker 6: about that that's Patriots related, we'll talk about. Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I don't take any offense to it.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I don't either.
- 18:34Speaker 7: I think we're having an electric offseason. Actually, yeah, talked
- 18:37Speaker 7: about a lot of fun.
- 18:38Speaker 3: So I think a lot of this stuff a lot
- 18:40Speaker 3: of both filled coffeehouse crap.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And so we've always said that if half the people
- 18:43Speaker 2: hate you and the other half love you, you're doing it right,
- 18:48Speaker 2: you know.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I agree.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Let's see. Uh, but we do have a lot of emails.
- 18:53Speaker 2: So for what that's worth.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Andrew Chris says, last show, you guys were talking about
- 18:58Speaker 5: how Paul enjoyed the soccer game that all the other
- 19:01Speaker 5: soccer fans called one of the worst games.
- 19:03Speaker 2: The answer to me, I did. The answer to me
- 19:05Speaker 2: is very clear.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Soccer fans don't enjoy scoring points, otherwise they would be
- 19:09Speaker 5: fans of different sports. I personally would take the Hall
- 19:12Speaker 5: of Fame game over a World Cup game any day.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That's I would not That's that's ridiculous, that's silly. I
- 19:20Speaker 3: would say, fred, I think you touched on it. And
- 19:24Speaker 3: I I, as you like to say, I think about
- 19:27Speaker 3: these things on my drive you home sometimes, And I
- 19:30Speaker 3: was thinking about that, like because I did. I found
- 19:33Speaker 3: that game, you know, interesting, and I took it to
- 19:35Speaker 3: heart that the guy was like, it was actually a
- 19:37Speaker 3: really bad game. That's a good point, Like I don't
- 19:40Speaker 3: know enough about the game to know what Maybe maybe
- 19:43Speaker 3: it was poorly played. Maybe the reason that both teams
- 19:46Speaker 3: had so many scoring chances is because the defensive structure
- 19:48Speaker 3: broke down and they played. Both teams kind of played
- 19:51Speaker 3: poorly and it led to a lot of sloppy chances. Right,
- 19:54Speaker 3: Maybe that's I mean showing my ignorance with the game.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I'm just the I'm American who doesn't know anything about soccer,
- 20:02Speaker 3: and I was entertained by the fact that there were
- 20:04Speaker 3: opportunities to score and not necessarily looking at like, well,
- 20:08Speaker 3: they had an opportunity to score because.
- 20:09Speaker 7: Very childlike perspective of the kid.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Well that's me.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Yeah, child, you want action.
- 20:16Speaker 4: That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's interesting.
- 20:19Speaker 7: You don't have childlike wonder about a lot of things.
- 20:21Speaker 2: But it is very interesting though, because you want action
- 20:24Speaker 2: in your sports, but you don't want action.
- 20:27Speaker 4: In your movies. Why do I not like action?
- 20:31Speaker 2: You said you don't like action movies.
- 20:33Speaker 3: You don't like blowing up, But you mean give me
- 20:35Speaker 3: like a plot like die Hard is like The Departed,
- 20:40Speaker 3: the ultimate blowing stuff blowing. I just didn't love The Departed,
- 20:43Speaker 3: but I like that kind of movie, Like die Hard,
- 20:47Speaker 3: everything blows up, so you like that there was but
- 20:50Speaker 3: there was actually character. You said, you don't like c G.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I just blow up everything. And I'm not a big superhero.
- 20:58Speaker 2: You don't know super heroes. You like it real I
- 21:01Speaker 2: watch them.
- 21:01Speaker 4: You like real stuff, and that's just not my favorite.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I would much rather watch The Departed than like Superman. Okay,
- 21:08Speaker 3: even though I don't think The Departed is anywhere near
- 21:11Speaker 3: as good as like good Fellas, Right a Town or
- 21:13Speaker 3: you know, countless others.
- 21:15Speaker 6: You don't like The Departed, I would agree that it's
- 21:17Speaker 6: as good, not as good as Good Fellows. I think
- 21:19Speaker 6: I think it's I mean, that's, you know, maybe the
- 21:22Speaker 6: best movie of all time, like The Departed, though in
- 21:26Speaker 6: the town really you like the town that much more?
- 21:28Speaker 2: Town is so much towns greatly but had even.
- 21:31Speaker 9: Definitely out of your mind, Paul, you're out of your element, buddy.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I think you need to watch you.
- 21:37Speaker 3: In a bad movie when you watch just another one
- 21:39Speaker 3: of those times Rom told like I am often that
- 21:42Speaker 3: my opinion doesn't absolutely.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Everybody else in this particular.
- 21:47Speaker 3: That's one of my favorite things. Yes, one of my
- 21:49Speaker 3: favorite things on Twitter. We could just get better, all
- 21:52Speaker 3: the better. That's one of my favorite things. I would
- 21:55Speaker 3: like it a lot more so.
- 21:56Speaker 7: I would agree Blake Blake Lively was an athletic.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Hurts me.
- 22:02Speaker 6: To say that movie.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It was really tough to listen to. Yeah, that was
- 22:06Speaker 4: that was tough.
- 22:07Speaker 3: The whole John Ham Blake Lively thing was all of
- 22:11Speaker 3: it was. We needed that John Ham. But I love
- 22:14Speaker 3: John Ham. I don't think he was great in that movie.
- 22:16Speaker 3: He wasn't, But I do what the Ben ben affleck
- 22:20Speaker 3: Jeremy Renner stuff was stuff.
- 22:22Speaker 7: Jeremy Renner was so good.
- 22:24Speaker 9: Yeah, what's better the town or heat? Like compared two movies,
- 22:27Speaker 9: the town is better than he Thank you? All right,
- 22:30Speaker 9: now we can agree? Now we can.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Agree there, this is good. This is good.
- 22:34Speaker 6: We just became best friends.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Did we just have a moment?
- 22:40Speaker 2: Sully, the die hard Patriots fan.
- 22:43Speaker 5: I wanted to know if we could get Christian from
- 22:45Speaker 5: La to chime in on how I should be raising
- 22:47Speaker 5: my kids, how bad a job I'm doing with the
- 22:50Speaker 5: balance of my investment portfolio in the care or lack thereof.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I paid him my personal grooming habits, God forbid. He
- 22:57Speaker 5: got to look inside my spice drawer. Also, someone needs
- 23:01Speaker 5: to contact the Patriot Place marketing department.
- 23:03Speaker 2: The eighties called and they want their ad music back.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Listening to that commercial for the restaurants transported me back
- 23:09Speaker 5: to the Burlington Mall, standing in Spencer's sipping my orange
- 23:12Speaker 5: Julius pretending to shop while actually checking out the girls
- 23:16Speaker 5: coming out of the deb store.
- 23:18Speaker 2: What's the EB?
- 23:19Speaker 6: First of all, why would that be a bad thing?
- 23:21Speaker 6: That's like, that's the best part of my life is
- 23:24Speaker 6: the Burlington Mall and Spencer's Gifts, flipping through the.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Script email like really put me right there?
- 23:30Speaker 6: Yeah, Rainforest Cafe?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Can I just like and I know that I'm always
- 23:36Speaker 3: trying to make a joke, but that's intentional because who's
- 23:41Speaker 3: shopping people that are my age? Right, they're trying to
- 23:45Speaker 3: hit you a nostalgia. Do you ever go into a supermarket?
- 23:48Speaker 3: What do you hear musaic from when like the eighties, eighties, right,
- 23:53Speaker 3: because they're catering to boomers.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Well, listen, you those are the people that are spending
- 23:57Speaker 4: the money.
- 23:58Speaker 7: That nineties like Norah Jones type too.
- 24:01Speaker 3: You know, well, you know, because I'm exactly as you
- 24:05Speaker 3: get it. As time moves on, it is going to
- 24:08Speaker 3: move But like, that's absolutely a thing. I'll guarantee you
- 24:12Speaker 3: that that is intentional at Patriot Place if that's what
- 24:15Speaker 3: they're playing, and that's.
- 24:16Speaker 7: That's our music that he's talking about.
- 24:20Speaker 3: No, no, he said it was like back to well
- 24:26Speaker 3: he said there was a commercial or something.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Yeah that we play. Yeah, but I was at the
- 24:30Speaker 5: physical therapy office up there. I'm listening to Dean Martin
- 24:32Speaker 5: for Christ's sake.
- 24:33Speaker 7: Oh yeah, well that's awesome.
- 24:36Speaker 2: It's like all these geriatrics in me.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I like, listen, I'm not I don't know about this commercial,
- 24:42Speaker 3: but I do think that that is an intentional tactic.
- 24:45Speaker 6: For he just said that all those things were like
- 24:49Speaker 6: like they were negatives.
- 24:50Speaker 4: He thought he was a lot. He thought he was
- 24:52Speaker 4: back at the Burlington Mall. Then it worked. That's what
- 24:54Speaker 4: they're trying to do.
- 24:57Speaker 2: He doesn't love that Burlington Mall is a good mall.
- 24:59Speaker 2: By the way us gone down, it's still solid.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Yeah, all of it's still good.
- 25:06Speaker 10: Is all on.
- 25:07Speaker 8: Fire Farmington Valley in Connecticut place, you know what is boom.
- 25:12Speaker 8: I just said this the other day, like some malls
- 25:14Speaker 8: are dying, but the outdoor shopping plaza is thriving.
- 25:19Speaker 7: Legacy place over.
- 25:20Speaker 8: All those like high end little outdoor market places popping
- 25:24Speaker 8: up with like the sweet Greens, the Kavas.
- 25:25Speaker 7: They have all the trendy stores and with food.
- 25:30Speaker 4: How do they do with retail?
- 25:33Speaker 7: Legacy is opening a new retail store like every month, like.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Market Street and Lindfield Is. It's bumping all the time.
- 25:40Speaker 3: A lot of young adults like to, you know, but
- 25:43Speaker 3: it's all.
- 25:44Speaker 8: Restaurants, great shopping. I do most of my clothes shopping.
- 25:50Speaker 8: Surprisingly in the age of the internet up at Legacy.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Now, I feel like it's a it's packed.
- 25:55Speaker 6: It's because you can always like you, there's a few
- 25:58Speaker 6: things you want to get, you want to hit, whereas
- 26:00Speaker 6: a mall you have to park in a garage and
- 26:02Speaker 6: walk in. And at a place like that you can
- 26:05Speaker 6: literally just park right in front of the story lines
- 26:07Speaker 6: to what Yeah, yeah, for sure, Yeah, I think that's it.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Maybe that makes sense.
- 26:12Speaker 5: Anthony says, don't listen. Don't listen to Andrew. He sounds bitter.
- 26:19Speaker 5: We all come for the Patriots talk, but we stay
- 26:21Speaker 5: for the vibes. You guys are great. Don't change. Even
- 26:24Speaker 5: if I don't love every single thing you speak about,
- 26:26Speaker 5: I still enjoy and find commonality in.
- 26:29Speaker 2: All your off season topics.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Ps I was advised to send my address last month
- 26:34Speaker 5: for a PU shirt and never got a response.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Just wondering if it's.
- 26:38Speaker 4: A ruse, good jobs, ridiculous.
- 26:40Speaker 2: If it's root.
- 26:42Speaker 5: And check him out, Alex, see what we need he needs,
- 26:47Speaker 5: We'll do Okay. Jeff and Pennsylvania disagree with the email
- 26:54Speaker 5: about sticking of football. I think you all do a
- 26:55Speaker 5: great job on a variety of topics, including Patriots, and
- 26:58Speaker 5: it keeps the show interesting. It makes us want to
- 27:01Speaker 5: listen and follow more. Keep the great Patriots talk and
- 27:04Speaker 5: feel free to include as much other topics as you
- 27:07Speaker 5: see fit. So some input there. Eight five five Pats
- 27:12Speaker 5: five hundred is the hotline podcast at Patriots dot com
- 27:15Speaker 5: is the email address. It's a beautiful day here in
- 27:18Speaker 5: New England.
- 27:19Speaker 4: It is.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I mean it is beautiful.
- 27:21Speaker 5: It's like like upper seventies right now, beautiful, low humidity.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I mean, making.
- 27:29Speaker 7: Had really good weather lately.
- 27:30Speaker 8: Remember last summer when every single weekend was miserable, Yeah,
- 27:33Speaker 8: it was like fourteen and weekends in a row where rainy.
- 27:36Speaker 7: We've been pretty lucky this year.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yep. Let's get to the phones. Let's start with John
- 27:41Speaker 2: and Brighton. What's up John, Hey, you.
- 27:45Speaker 10: Guys, how's it going good? I wanted to say that
- 27:49Speaker 10: I have also almost been beaten up outside of Highmark
- 27:52Speaker 10: Stadium in Buffalo because I was leaving there as the
- 27:57Speaker 10: game was ending, The Wind game. Do you remember that
- 27:58Speaker 10: Monday night before at Jones Won. I was there for
- 28:02Speaker 10: that game, and to be fair, I was being a
- 28:05Speaker 10: little bit obnoxious on the way out, but not to
- 28:08Speaker 10: the guy who said that you want to beat me up?
- 28:09Speaker 10: So I ignored him and hustled to my car, So
- 28:13Speaker 10: I understand the feeling there. I did have a question
- 28:16Speaker 10: for I guess it's for all of you, but it's
- 28:19Speaker 10: in relation to Evan's article that he wrote last week
- 28:22Speaker 10: about the schematic changes that the Teatriots could be making
- 28:25Speaker 10: this season. You said something about how they could be
- 28:29Speaker 10: running more, or something they could do is run more
- 28:32Speaker 10: dime defense with like a third safety on the field,
- 28:35Speaker 10: or even like a big nickel, the type of stuff
- 28:37Speaker 10: that like Seattle is running and some of the best
- 28:40Speaker 10: defenses in the league are running, And I was wondering,
- 28:43Speaker 10: isn't that kind of like the type of player that
- 28:46Speaker 10: you need to do that type of scheme very similar
- 28:49Speaker 10: to what they had with Kyle Dugger and maybe to
- 28:53Speaker 10: the lesser extent Marte Mapu just kind of like those
- 28:57Speaker 10: hybrid like can kind of cover a little bit a
- 29:00Speaker 10: little bit down closer to the box, but also play
- 29:02Speaker 10: safety like a deep safety. So yeah, I'll hang up
- 29:07Speaker 10: and listen, but I just want to put your thoughts
- 29:09Speaker 10: on that. Thanks, guys.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's the big question is do they
- 29:13Speaker 6: have a player with that skill set that they can
- 29:16Speaker 6: use that makes them impactful in that grouping. And one
- 29:19Speaker 6: of the things I wrote about was a lot of
- 29:21Speaker 6: the teams that are doing a lot of it have
- 29:23Speaker 6: sort of you know a nick Ammon Warri or Derwin
- 29:26Speaker 6: James or one of these Kyle Hamilton, one of these
- 29:29Speaker 6: players that's, you know, kind of a cyborg and just
- 29:32Speaker 6: is a really good football player and can do these
- 29:34Speaker 6: types of things. That might be why it's good. That
- 29:37Speaker 6: might be why it's good for them is because they
- 29:39Speaker 6: have one of those types of players.
- 29:41Speaker 5: If John was kind of getting at like they had
- 29:43Speaker 5: Mapo and they had Douger, and if this was kind
- 29:46Speaker 5: of what they wanted to do, why did they get
- 29:48Speaker 5: rid of them?
- 29:48Speaker 10: Right?
- 29:49Speaker 6: Well, I think that you know, Mapoo maybe a little
- 29:50Speaker 6: bit of a different thing. But like a guy like
- 29:52Speaker 6: Kyle Dugger, like he was a starting safety on the team,
- 29:55Speaker 6: Like what we're talking about is a situational role. You know,
- 29:59Speaker 6: you're not going to play a lot dime defense on
- 30:01Speaker 6: like first down, right, Like this is more of a
- 30:03Speaker 6: passing down situation. So it's not necessarily one of your
- 30:08Speaker 6: starters or one of your like primary contributors. So it's
- 30:12Speaker 6: more of like a role player. Now, other teams like Seattle,
- 30:15Speaker 6: for instance, they might put a different player on the
- 30:18Speaker 6: field so that way that they can move Nickim and
- 30:20Speaker 6: Worry down into the box or over the slot and
- 30:24Speaker 6: be more flexible with him. But Nickim and Worry is
- 30:26Speaker 6: starting safety for the Seahawks, but they might have a
- 30:29Speaker 6: third safety that's more of a free safety type that
- 30:32Speaker 6: comes on the field and plays that way. So I
- 30:35Speaker 6: agree that they haven't really moved in that direction in
- 30:37Speaker 6: terms of what they put on the roster. But I
- 30:41Speaker 6: still think, especially if they're going to see as many
- 30:44Speaker 6: multiple tight ends as they're expected to see this year,
- 30:47Speaker 6: they're gonna have to have an answer for that. Whether
- 30:49Speaker 6: that's just true based defense or big nickel or dime,
- 30:53Speaker 6: you know, three safety dime, They're gonna have to have
- 30:55Speaker 6: some sort of answer that's not just you know, we
- 30:57Speaker 6: were talking about this the other day with Deuced like
- 30:59Speaker 6: it's just three corner nickel because you're vulnerable against the
- 31:03Speaker 6: run in that package. So that's the big question is,
- 31:06Speaker 6: you know, if the trends continue and teams play two
- 31:10Speaker 6: three tight ends at a time, you know, what's the
- 31:13Speaker 6: Patriots personnel answer to that? How are they matching that personnel?
- 31:17Speaker 2: Okay, fidel is in Tampa what's up fiddel, Hey you guys,
- 31:24Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 31:25Speaker 11: Very good? Hope you get's doing well. I wanted to
- 31:28Speaker 11: jump on Paul's side. The Town way better than Departed. Okay,
- 31:34Speaker 11: one thousand percent, thank you.
- 31:37Speaker 2: What did you like about the Departed?
- 31:40Speaker 11: I like the Departed? Well, hold on, Evan, I have
- 31:43Speaker 11: a piece on you. In a second, I like to
- 31:46Speaker 11: depart it. It was very well. All the caricter's like
- 31:50Speaker 11: a nine out of ten.
- 31:51Speaker 12: Great great, great movie.
- 31:53Speaker 11: But the Town is at ten out of ten with
- 31:56Speaker 11: Ben a Flack and the entire story is amazing, and
- 32:01Speaker 11: there's always on my edge, making the entire time like
- 32:04Speaker 11: one of my favorite kid bits. I didn't realize that
- 32:06Speaker 11: I watched on like the fifth time was when benas
- 32:10Speaker 11: Like is calling his girlfriend while she has the cops
- 32:14Speaker 11: at her place. I don't know if you remember this
- 32:16Speaker 11: one scene very beginning when they're on their first date.
- 32:19Speaker 11: Ben Affleck says, hey, can we go into your place
- 32:21Speaker 11: because my uncle who lives across the street, who sees
- 32:24Speaker 11: in two and sees the street when they she is
- 32:28Speaker 11: calling him. She goes to the window across the street
- 32:32Speaker 11: from his uncle because she knows that he's watching her.
- 32:35Speaker 11: While he calls her to see the cops around.
- 32:39Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I know that.
- 32:41Speaker 11: Yeah, it was way amazing.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Favorite, it's a great movie.
- 32:46Speaker 2: It's a great movie in Tampa.
- 32:51Speaker 11: Yes, love it. I was hoping I'll run into you,
- 32:53Speaker 11: but I didn't get to see you.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm great place, great place. Next time i'm there,
- 32:58Speaker 5: I'll let you know.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I'll so you for del I'm going to Burns.
- 33:03Speaker 2: I think I figured it out though, with you, Paul.
- 33:06Speaker 5: The reason why you like Town more than The Departed
- 33:08Speaker 5: you like in your movies a romantic element to it.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Not necessary, No, No, because you're a rom com kind
- 33:15Speaker 5: of guy, right.
- 33:17Speaker 4: I like more of those movies than I would care
- 33:19Speaker 4: to admit.
- 33:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I would agree with that romantic angle to The
- 33:22Speaker 7: Departed too, But.
- 33:23Speaker 4: There is I was just going to the therapist, the therapist.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Therapist.
- 33:28Speaker 8: Then it's not as big of a it's not the
- 33:31Speaker 8: fabric hold story together like the Town is.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I don't know exactly, like how to explain it. There's
- 33:38Speaker 3: something about those kinds of movies that I need the
- 33:42Speaker 3: bad guy to be likable and rootable, Like I want
- 33:47Speaker 3: to root for the bad guy Ben Affleck.
- 33:50Speaker 4: I wanted him to succeed. I wanted him to.
- 33:53Speaker 7: Get Cam was the good guy in that movie.
- 33:54Speaker 3: You didn't like him, right, But I feel like you
- 33:56Speaker 3: Matt Damon was a rat. Like I didn't like Matt
- 33:59Speaker 3: Damon at all in that movie.
- 34:00Speaker 6: But I feel like your perspective on the good guys
- 34:04Speaker 6: versus the bad guys with the town is interesting. So
- 34:06Speaker 6: you think Ben Affleck is the bad guy in the town.
- 34:09Speaker 4: They were all bad, him and Renner were. They were
- 34:11Speaker 4: bank robbers, and he's the story.
- 34:14Speaker 6: But see, like the person that I feel like, I've like,
- 34:17Speaker 6: like this guy is a jerk, is the flower shop
- 34:20Speaker 6: guy that's running the whole.
- 34:23Speaker 4: So he was the head of the bad guy.
- 34:25Speaker 6: Yeah right, But like Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner's characters,
- 34:28Speaker 6: I feel like got cut up in this life and
- 34:31Speaker 6: the like you know, can't get out of it.
- 34:34Speaker 8: You know, I would say that they got good jobs
- 34:37Speaker 8: at Boston Sand and Gravel.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Yeah right, okay.
- 34:40Speaker 6: And then like John hamm is obviously, you know, not
- 34:43Speaker 6: a likable character. So like, if you want people to
- 34:45Speaker 6: not like there, they're plenty of those.
- 34:47Speaker 3: No, but he's but I'm talking about the bad guy.
- 34:50Speaker 3: I want to like, I want to root for the
- 34:51Speaker 3: bad guy. It's like Escape from Alcatraz. You're rooting for
- 34:55Speaker 3: Clint Eastwood to get away, get to make it, even
- 34:58Speaker 3: though you know he's a criminal. It's a movie, like,
- 35:01Speaker 3: you know, yeah, I want to root for him. There's
- 35:04Speaker 3: probably a name for what. I'm trying to understand what
- 35:07Speaker 3: you're saying when you bring up the flower guy though,
- 35:09Speaker 3: that's like one of my favorite scenes in all, Like.
- 35:12Speaker 8: Yeah, I totally didn't after they picked for that guy too.
- 35:16Speaker 7: Just couldn't be better.
- 35:17Speaker 4: It's a great movie.
- 35:19Speaker 7: Just the faceline, you're looking for.
- 35:22Speaker 4: A ghost, it's a great movie.
- 35:23Speaker 6: I just think you're you're disdained for The Departed as
- 35:26Speaker 6: a little misguided. That's all.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Just didn't like it as much as you guys did.
- 35:30Speaker 7: That's all great, both great casts.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Yeah, they're both got tremendous cast in The Departed.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Both great.
- 35:36Speaker 3: I mean that would just be foolish. I argue that
- 35:38Speaker 3: that's a bad cast. Everybody was in The Departed.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Did you like Casino?
- 35:42Speaker 4: I liked it? Yeah, I didn't love it. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 4: I kind of like they Departed.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 6: People that say that Casino is better than Good Fellows,
- 35:50Speaker 6: I don't know how you think that.
- 35:54Speaker 7: What's one top of my head, like Fury with Brad
- 35:56Speaker 7: Pitt or something that.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I like Fury a lot.
- 36:00Speaker 6: Do you know what movie I really like a lot
- 36:02Speaker 6: is Dunkirk?
- 36:03Speaker 7: Do love that too?
- 36:05Speaker 6: The very not? I don't know.
- 36:06Speaker 7: I like a little more action usually, but that was good.
- 36:08Speaker 6: I don't know about the I don't know about the
- 36:10Speaker 6: like I love Tom Hardy, so that helps, but I
- 36:12Speaker 6: don't know about the rewatch value of it. But like
- 36:15Speaker 6: the very first time I saw it, I was like,
- 36:18Speaker 6: that movie is like gripping, you know.
- 36:20Speaker 2: The way it was dialogue, yeah, the way it was filmed,
- 36:23Speaker 2: like it was like, yeah, how a lot of movies
- 36:26Speaker 2: it's this scene than this scene than this scene. Dunkirk
- 36:29Speaker 2: was like.
- 36:30Speaker 7: So many continuous shots.
- 36:32Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, so hard. It was just really like I
- 36:34Speaker 6: just remember seeing it for the first time in theaters
- 36:36Speaker 6: and like the suspense was like the US you can
- 36:40Speaker 6: feel it, and you know, being a at the time,
- 36:43Speaker 6: I was like that could have been me. Like if
- 36:46Speaker 6: I was in the nineteen forties, I probably would have
- 36:47Speaker 6: been on that like that.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Yeah, like how ill equipped I would have been to
- 36:51Speaker 4: handle that?
- 36:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and like you know, the bombing is going on
- 36:54Speaker 6: and these they're all on the beach and they're just
- 36:56Speaker 6: sitting ducks and you just feel it, Like what was.
- 36:58Speaker 9: The one the World War One one where nineteen seventeen, Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 9: that was pheno.
- 37:04Speaker 2: That was wild.
- 37:04Speaker 9: That was one of the best movies period, I mean
- 37:07Speaker 9: so good.
- 37:08Speaker 2: That was brutal warfare.
- 37:10Speaker 5: I mean the trench warfare where you fight for two
- 37:13Speaker 5: days and you'd gain a foot literally.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:16Speaker 9: You know, wait, are you talking about all quiet on
- 37:17Speaker 9: the Western Front because that was that too.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Well both, Yeah, but I think nineteen seventeen is the
- 37:22Speaker 5: one I'm thinking of, like, just felt like.
- 37:25Speaker 9: It was all one shot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahteen
- 37:28Speaker 9: seventeen that was wild.
- 37:30Speaker 2: You know, they're just brutal warfare.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Yeah, anyway, I would have been dead in the day.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Gandalf in the Shire.
- 37:38Speaker 7: Said, you would have been like I have asthma, I
- 37:40Speaker 7: can't go.
- 37:41Speaker 6: Probably yeah, I probably wouldn't tried to find a way out.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Gandalf says, Hi, Alex, Yes, state tips are rare in
- 37:47Speaker 5: the Shire. I missed the steak tips from Lacostius in Medford.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I'd never been there.
- 37:53Speaker 5: If you all have any recommendations for me when I visit,
- 37:56Speaker 5: please send them over.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Where is he?
- 37:58Speaker 2: He's in the Shire, which so like the UK.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Yeah, oh all right, I think I think you were
- 38:03Speaker 4: talking about.
- 38:04Speaker 5: In the US places that have good state tips and
- 38:06Speaker 5: around here and like very local.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:08Speaker 3: I do think that Alex is right that they were
- 38:10Speaker 3: kind of like an East Coast, northeast East kind of thing.
- 38:13Speaker 3: But I think they're I think they're everywhere now, but
- 38:15Speaker 3: they definitely originated.
- 38:17Speaker 7: But to be known as steak tips.
- 38:19Speaker 8: I think friends I have from other parts of the
- 38:21Speaker 8: country did not recognize what that was.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Really.
- 38:24Speaker 7: Yeah, Like I was in Florida once and I was like,
- 38:26Speaker 7: I'm really craving like place state tips.
- 38:28Speaker 8: State tips had no clue what I was talking about, and.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Not like buffalo wings to me, Like, no one really
- 38:37Speaker 3: talked about buffalo wings when I was growing up. Oh No,
- 38:39Speaker 3: like the wings now, like everybody, you know, it's a
- 38:42Speaker 3: big thing, right, but that's kind of well they spent
- 38:46Speaker 3: about you know.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It's rarely thirty years. It's fairly new.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 6: I would say we love our wings our generation. For
- 38:52Speaker 6: some I love wings very level, very obsessed with wings.
- 38:57Speaker 6: I don't even Buffalo has very good wings. I've tried
- 39:01Speaker 6: like three or four places there now I still have.
- 39:04Speaker 6: I still don't think it's the best wing I've ever
- 39:07Speaker 6: had any of them.
- 39:07Speaker 8: But that's the sea. I believe that. Just like like
- 39:10Speaker 8: you said, it wasn't really a thing growing up. I
- 39:12Speaker 8: don't think a lot of people thought people would come
- 39:13Speaker 8: to like just a wing restaurant because it wasn't. Yeah
- 39:17Speaker 8: that's like not an entree at the time. But Buffalo
- 39:19Speaker 8: was on the forefront of rolling that out.
- 39:21Speaker 6: I would say, there's only a couple like we went
- 39:24Speaker 6: to Barbil last year, which is really good, but that
- 39:27Speaker 6: place is it's a bar, so they have a million
- 39:30Speaker 6: other things on the menu, but they're just the wings
- 39:33Speaker 6: are like the highlight of the menu, right, whereas like Duffs,
- 39:36Speaker 6: it's pretty much all wings, right, you know, So there
- 39:39Speaker 6: are differences like that that you know, a place like
- 39:42Speaker 6: Barbill you could go get a burger, you could get
- 39:44Speaker 6: you know whatever. It's just the wings are what they're
- 39:47Speaker 6: known for type of thing.
- 39:48Speaker 5: Yeah, we used to go to a place in Buffalo
- 39:50Speaker 5: across the street from the hotel.
- 39:52Speaker 2: It was called the Olympia Bar. I think it.
- 39:55Speaker 5: And you know how like some bars, when you sit
- 39:57Speaker 5: down they'll give you a basket of chips with something.
- 40:00Speaker 5: They gave you a basket of bacon. Wow at this place,
- 40:03Speaker 5: I mean, they just had to kill you.
- 40:05Speaker 4: I think I think I went to that place once.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah, there was the Pearl Street place too, is Pearl
- 40:10Speaker 3: Street down the street.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Those are pretty good. The wings there were pretty good.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Listen.
- 40:14Speaker 5: If you're in Buffalo and you don't know how to
- 40:16Speaker 5: do wings, get out. I mean, come on, you have to.
- 40:18Speaker 7: It's like you pay the rent if you can't.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you know here, if if you don't
- 40:23Speaker 5: have good clam showder, then get out, don't you know,
- 40:26Speaker 5: don't offer it. If you're gonna put it on your menu,
- 40:29Speaker 5: would better be good?
- 40:30Speaker 4: Judgment?
- 40:31Speaker 5: Well, yeah, you're in New England. If you're going to
- 40:34Speaker 5: have it on your menu, would better be good. And
- 40:35Speaker 5: the same thing at buffalof you're gonna have wings on
- 40:37Speaker 5: your menu, they better be good.
- 40:40Speaker 6: I haven't had a bad wing in Buffalo.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I haven't either, Yeah.
- 40:43Speaker 6: But I feel like they they like to claim that,
- 40:47Speaker 6: you know, they you can, you know, can't beat the
- 40:50Speaker 6: wings in Buffalo. I'm not sure about that.
- 40:51Speaker 7: How hard is it to mess up?
- 40:53Speaker 6: Well?
- 40:53Speaker 5: Listen, I go to a place in Elizabeth, New Jersey
- 40:57Speaker 5: called Nugensen. They have damn good ways. Yeah, damn good Wings.
- 41:02Speaker 6: It is good.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Colt and Shreveport. Uh, just keeping the non Patriots offseason talk.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Safe to say in terms of ranking soccer among the
- 41:14Speaker 5: sports in the US, safe to say the Big Four
- 41:16Speaker 5: are all more popular than soccer. But where would you
- 41:20Speaker 5: rank it in your opinion nationally among other sports like golf, tennis,
- 41:24Speaker 5: track and field in NASCAR. Personally, my list is football, baseball, hockey, basketball, golf, NASCAR, tennis, soccer,
- 41:31Speaker 5: then track, so.
- 41:34Speaker 4: It's probably pretty close.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I would put for me soccer is above hockey.
- 41:38Speaker 6: Well, I think that they're all very regional. Once you
- 41:41Speaker 6: get to that point, it's very niche, Like NASCAR in
- 41:43Speaker 6: the South is gonna do dominate. It's gonna dominate.
- 41:47Speaker 7: Football and Nascar will be like a lot of prices.
- 41:50Speaker 6: But hockey up here, hockey in Minnesota or hockey, you know,
- 41:54Speaker 6: and in places like that, it's gonna be probably number
- 41:57Speaker 6: one on that list, maybe besides football.
- 41:59Speaker 7: So it depends on it's going to be football at
- 42:01Speaker 7: the top.
- 42:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I think baseball and basketball are the two that
- 42:05Speaker 6: that fight for well for number two.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to say, like football, I'll watch whoever's
- 42:10Speaker 2: playing baseball, I won't yeah, I only really care about
- 42:14Speaker 2: the Reds.
- 42:14Speaker 4: I agree with that.
- 42:15Speaker 5: Basketball, I might watch a matchup that's not the Celtics,
- 42:18Speaker 5: but it's kind of the same way tennis.
- 42:22Speaker 2: If it's on, I'll watch.
- 42:23Speaker 4: You have no choice, But I'm not gonna watch tennis.
- 42:25Speaker 4: You can't. You can't just hope that this is American
- 42:27Speaker 4: playing because they're not good enough.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Right, So it's not a you know, tennis isn't really
- 42:31Speaker 2: appointment unless it's a match that I really want to
- 42:34Speaker 2: see the two players.
- 42:36Speaker 4: Uh interest. For me, I can only watch golf if
- 42:42Speaker 4: it's like the.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Back so I love watching it in like January. I
- 42:47Speaker 3: get the fomo m hm, and I love when when
- 42:50Speaker 3: the weather is terrible.
- 42:52Speaker 4: I love sitting down.
- 42:53Speaker 3: I'll watch some random like Genesis Open that I don't
- 42:57Speaker 3: really care about, but just because the sun's out and
- 42:59Speaker 3: I want I want to think that this you know,
- 43:02Speaker 3: this gray is going to go away at some point.
- 43:04Speaker 7: Yea, though I only like the Masters, I don't care.
- 43:09Speaker 4: No, I liked it. I mean, obviously I watch all
- 43:12Speaker 4: the Majors.
- 43:13Speaker 7: But Little Father's the US Open.
- 43:15Speaker 4: But I'll watch like.
- 43:18Speaker 3: On a random sign, especially if Beth is working on
- 43:20Speaker 3: a random Sunday in like February, I'll watch like the
- 43:24Speaker 3: whole whatever, final round of some meaningless tournament.
- 43:28Speaker 6: Paul's all about the weather. He gets depressed when it's cold.
- 43:31Speaker 4: I do, and then you guys just yeah.
- 43:35Speaker 6: I don't really cares what it is.
- 43:39Speaker 2: James Pettigrew, the most interesting Patriots fan in the world, says,
- 43:42Speaker 2: at one point I used to do my laundry in
- 43:45Speaker 2: the bank they robbed in the town.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Oh nice.
- 43:48Speaker 7: Yeah, really like the.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Opening scene, so I guess they used to be a bank.
- 43:53Speaker 2: They turned it into a launch.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Scene when they get over the the when they go
- 43:56Speaker 3: over the bridge and the and the cop just turns
- 43:58Speaker 3: the other way.
- 43:59Speaker 8: The bars seen with Blake Lively and John Hamm that
- 44:04Speaker 8: bar used to be. Yeah, my cousin's husband used to
- 44:08Speaker 8: have his like he played like semi pro football and
- 44:10Speaker 8: they used to have their like team post drinking sessions.
- 44:14Speaker 13: There.
- 44:16Speaker 8: Okay, fun fact, fun story about my life.
- 44:20Speaker 4: It's a crazy Justin writes In.
- 44:22Speaker 2: He says, the fact that you would name every other
- 44:24Speaker 2: war movie and not the greatest war movie of all
- 44:27Speaker 2: time Ryan, He says, Saving Private Saving a special shout
- 44:30Speaker 2: out to another one called Overlord. Evan might be the
- 44:34Speaker 2: only one to know it.
- 44:35Speaker 6: Saving Private Ryan is a great movie. It's an objectively
- 44:39Speaker 6: great but I've seen it so many times, not the
- 44:41Speaker 6: whole thing through, but you you cut in at certain
- 44:44Speaker 6: times of the movie and listen.
- 44:47Speaker 2: I know I'm dating myself.
- 44:49Speaker 5: But the first war movie I ever think I saw
- 44:52Speaker 5: and I think it's still great is The Guns of Navarone.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Have you ever seen that?
- 44:56Speaker 4: I haven't seen it, but I know of it.
- 44:58Speaker 2: What a movie. I mean, it's probably now I don't
- 45:00Speaker 2: know if it holds up.
- 45:02Speaker 3: So but again, like so like Saving Private Ryan for me, like,
- 45:07Speaker 3: obviously it's a war movie, but I'm fascinated by the
- 45:12Speaker 3: people that they introduce you to, you know, obviously first
- 45:17Speaker 3: and foremost Tom Hanks, Like that's what gets me into
- 45:22Speaker 3: the movie, as opposed to just well that was really
- 45:25Speaker 3: unbelievable cinemas. I mean, the opening scene and Saving Private
- 45:28Speaker 3: Ryan is just riveting, you know, you know, on the beach,
- 45:33Speaker 3: and I can't even imagine how difficult that was to shoot,
- 45:37Speaker 3: and everything that went into it from a technical standpoint,
- 45:40Speaker 3: incredibly impressive. That would pale in comparison to me if
- 45:44Speaker 3: I didn't find out about these characters, you know, as
- 45:47Speaker 3: the movie unfolds.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 45:50Speaker 6: I do, But I don't care about characters.
- 45:54Speaker 4: I totally get that.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Unlike people on Twitter, I recognize that my way isn't
- 45:59Speaker 3: the only.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Way you're Yeah, I hear a lot of different ways
- 46:02Speaker 4: to enjoy.
- 46:03Speaker 8: Characters, though, Like writing and character development are too, like
- 46:06Speaker 8: most important I.
- 46:07Speaker 6: Care about like plot, like I want to be not
- 46:11Speaker 6: see something coming or like some sort of heel turn
- 46:14Speaker 6: or something like that. And I care about action, but
- 46:16Speaker 6: I don't really care about like oh I really like
- 46:19Speaker 6: I got to know this guy in this two hour movie,
- 46:22Speaker 6: or this guy has great character development from start to finish,
- 46:25Speaker 6: Like I don't really care.
- 46:27Speaker 2: But that's the story.
- 46:29Speaker 9: The story is about characters.
- 46:30Speaker 6: No, I'm saying, like the plot of the movie of
- 46:34Speaker 6: like oh, there's like this twist at the end or
- 46:37Speaker 6: something like that. I like those types of movies. I
- 46:39Speaker 6: like the like ones you have to think about, like
- 46:41Speaker 6: you know why things are happening.
- 46:43Speaker 2: So in that genre, Sixth Sense was one of the
- 46:46Speaker 2: ones that, like it got me. Like some people say,
- 46:49Speaker 2: oh I knew he was a ghost. I didn't know that.
- 46:52Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I did not know that.
- 46:54Speaker 6: Yeah, like fight Club, Fight Club, Yeah, like great, just
- 46:58Speaker 6: mind Twister. Yeah, I like the I like those movies
- 47:02Speaker 6: like if I just have to hear listen to people
- 47:04Speaker 6: talk and talk about, you know, their feelings. I'm good,
- 47:09Speaker 6: tough guy.
- 47:10Speaker 2: I just Shutter Island.
- 47:12Speaker 5: I like Shutter Island. But I had read the book,
- 47:15Speaker 5: and the book is so much better.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Really, That's how I felt about Fight Club. I had
- 47:20Speaker 7: an English teacher for some reason hand me at Chuck
- 47:22Speaker 7: Pallino book when I was.
- 47:25Speaker 4: A movie that's better than the book? Yes, which, what
- 47:28Speaker 4: is it?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Well, the Star Wars are better.
- 47:30Speaker 4: Than the book.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Mm hmm, Green Mile Green Mids. I didn't read the book,
- 47:35Speaker 2: so I wouldn't know.
- 47:37Speaker 4: I don't read it. I'm semi illiterate.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I think that there's Shutter Island. I read that book
- 47:42Speaker 2: and I just felt this feeling of sadness. When I
- 47:45Speaker 2: was done, I was just so sad. And the Mystic River.
- 47:49Speaker 3: You ever see that, that's a tremendous moviemendously.
- 47:54Speaker 5: Sad, so sad you know it is? Yeah, that's the
- 48:01Speaker 5: same author.
- 48:02Speaker 4: I think we're I think we're getting mocked for being
- 48:05Speaker 4: in fields. It was a sad I.
- 48:07Speaker 7: Like of you guys last time he cried in a movie.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Pretty much every movie.
- 48:14Speaker 6: I don't think I've ever cried.
- 48:16Speaker 4: I'm a crier.
- 48:17Speaker 7: I'm it because you like the storyline.
- 48:21Speaker 6: That means your inner self.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So my nephew is better than the ocean. When he
- 48:26Speaker 2: watched Titanic.
- 48:27Speaker 3: My neph My nephew just got engaged right. What My
- 48:30Speaker 3: nephew just got engratulation right like three weeks ago, so
- 48:33Speaker 3: did everybody else. We had we had the we had
- 48:35Speaker 3: the party. Uh, we had a little gut together for
- 48:38Speaker 3: him Saturday. But like he so he face times me
- 48:40Speaker 3: and he face times. My wife and my sister were
- 48:43Speaker 3: actually working together and they were in they were at
- 48:45Speaker 3: Mass General and they was a three way call and
- 48:49Speaker 3: he tells me, and I got all emotional because.
- 48:53Speaker 4: Your big baby.
- 48:55Speaker 6: That's fair enough.
- 48:57Speaker 4: But absolutely I'm a very I'm very emotional, very emotional.
- 49:00Speaker 4: I wear it on my sleeve.
- 49:02Speaker 5: Bro Ellen, Wisconsin. In terms of why you're rooting or
- 49:07Speaker 5: what the word is for rooting for the bad guy,
- 49:11Speaker 5: El says the word you're looking for a protagonist and
- 49:14Speaker 5: antagonist and escape from Alcatraz, Well, let let him finish
- 49:19Speaker 5: an escape from Alcatraz. Eastwood is the protagonist. He's the
- 49:22Speaker 5: bad guy, but he's the one that pushes the plot forward.
- 49:26Speaker 5: The opposite are the antagonists of the film.
- 49:29Speaker 3: So okay, I just there's probably some kind of a
- 49:35Speaker 3: technical term, I know what you're saying from movies that
- 49:38Speaker 3: want anti hero Yeah, the anti heroes.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly, there's.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Got to be some kind of Mexican friends and neighbors.
- 49:47Speaker 8: John hamm is the protagonists. Yes, I guess owen Ash
- 49:52Speaker 8: is an antagonist, but you like him. You don't have
- 49:54Speaker 8: to not like him. But soprano, But I think he's
- 49:57Speaker 8: a protagonist too.
- 49:58Speaker 3: So I think in all Mom movies, they're all, Ye,
- 50:01Speaker 3: you're rooting for the mobsters. You know that they're ruthless killers,
- 50:05Speaker 3: but you're rooting for them.
- 50:07Speaker 6: You guys, you guys liked Owen Ash.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I love, but I.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Mean I think Alex and my wife had a.
- 50:14Speaker 6: Little different.
- 50:16Speaker 7: Where do I begin?
- 50:18Speaker 6: But that's like, see, like that's how you know, like
- 50:20Speaker 6: you're supposed to like kind of be annoyed by Olivia
- 50:23Speaker 6: Munn's character, and I'm just.
- 50:24Speaker 7: I have done a one ad on her.
- 50:25Speaker 6: Though I love it, never gonna happen, I mean, it's yeah,
- 50:33Speaker 6: but I so I get that piece of it. But
- 50:35Speaker 6: like he was. He's like not a good dude, and that.
- 50:39Speaker 8: He's also not that bad of a guy directly to anyone,
- 50:44Speaker 8: but I think super generous.
- 50:45Speaker 6: He's pretty bad to the dude that owns the basketball player,
- 50:49Speaker 6: like he like launder's money through through his gym.
- 50:53Speaker 7: He wasn't trying to launder the money.
- 50:54Speaker 8: Barney and Andy were laundering the money him and was trying.
- 50:59Speaker 7: To have a genu you an investment in the business.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Well, I don't know about that. I mean, his money
- 51:03Speaker 6: is not genuine, so you can't.
- 51:04Speaker 7: Tell his money some of his not all of his money.
- 51:07Speaker 3: We're going to find out next seat. You don't watch this,
- 51:09Speaker 3: so you should. I think you, like friends and neighbors.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Have time for I'm having a content crisis.
- 51:15Speaker 2: A commitment problem with shows.
- 51:18Speaker 14: That's where I was at until the committed to The
- 51:20Speaker 14: Red until the show plenty of times.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Stop watching The Red Sox.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it does take up time.
- 51:30Speaker 5: So what bad guy in a movie was the one
- 51:34Speaker 5: that you really hated the most, or any show, movie
- 51:38Speaker 5: or show like you wanted the worst to happen to this?
- 51:42Speaker 2: This person?
- 51:42Speaker 8: Where the Boys? What lander? What's his name? Why can
- 51:46Speaker 8: I think of it? In the Boys the head guy.
- 51:49Speaker 7: Ye, boys in the Boys thanke.
- 51:52Speaker 2: You for Sutherling.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Some woman would qualify for this. In Virtua, he's a
- 51:57Speaker 4: rat is Homelander?
- 52:00Speaker 7: Homelander and the Boys in like the first couple of seasons. Yeah,
- 52:04Speaker 7: I'm looking at you like I know you want.
- 52:06Speaker 4: I know you kept saying the boys.
- 52:09Speaker 5: I was thinking of that vampire movie a long time ago,
- 52:15Speaker 5: like the boys that were vampires lost boys.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I don't know why the boy You're right, Homelander.
- 52:21Speaker 8: I hated Homelanders so much, especially like the first two
- 52:24Speaker 8: seasons of that, Like that's the most fiery burning passion
- 52:27Speaker 8: I felt.
- 52:28Speaker 2: How about in Lord of the Rings, Uh, the kid
- 52:32Speaker 2: that tortured the other kid and he was the head
- 52:36Speaker 2: of the house that you're you're talking about Game of Thrones.
- 52:39Speaker 7: And Ramsey, Yeah, yeah, hated him his stupid face.
- 52:46Speaker 6: Yeah, but that but that one has a very good payoff.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Yeah he gets eaten, but well he gets his come
- 52:52Speaker 6: up in so like I hated him at the time,
- 52:55Speaker 6: but then it does you do get.
- 52:58Speaker 2: That you were the same job for that the whole time.
- 53:01Speaker 6: Same with Jeoffrey, Like Jeoffrey dies in a horrible way
- 53:04Speaker 6: and you're like good.
- 53:05Speaker 9: Good, right, Yeah, right, Yeah, the little Finger or Peter Bailish.
- 53:12Speaker 2: He was a survival but he was a great Yeah,
- 53:17Speaker 2: he was a great character.
- 53:19Speaker 6: I didn't really feel like Ramsey was a great character.
- 53:22Speaker 6: Jeoffrey was just not a good character and he's stunk
- 53:25Speaker 6: like it just all around was just not fun to
- 53:28Speaker 6: be around. At least little Finger was like, Okay, this
- 53:31Speaker 6: guy's a schemer. This is kind of cool. Yeah, we're
- 53:33Speaker 6: watching a scandal right now.
- 53:35Speaker 7: And Olivia Pope fashion.
- 53:37Speaker 6: Icon and the Father.
- 53:40Speaker 7: I love Carry Washington the Father.
- 53:42Speaker 6: I just want her father to to like I'm like,
- 53:45Speaker 6: put a bullet in this guy's head. Please please end
- 53:48Speaker 6: this guy from this show.
- 53:49Speaker 7: Just such a girly show. I love that you're watching it.
- 53:51Speaker 2: I'm watching great.
- 53:53Speaker 4: I love Scandal fan a little bit.
- 53:57Speaker 6: You know, we watched a couple of shows like that.
- 53:59Speaker 6: You know Scandal?
- 54:01Speaker 4: Did you watch.
- 54:03Speaker 7: Not yet? I'm going to them.
- 54:04Speaker 5: So when you watch these shows, Steve, we're going to
- 54:09Speaker 5: watch Scandal or is that? Hey, do you want to
- 54:10Speaker 5: watch the Scandal and you just do it?
- 54:12Speaker 6: Okay, So we have a couple of different things. So
- 54:14Speaker 6: we have this is this this is going to really
- 54:16Speaker 6: confuse you. Actually, I think we have shows that are
- 54:19Speaker 6: we're watching live like shows that are airing, you know,
- 54:22Speaker 6: so it's appointment right, so that we're like, you know, DVR,
- 54:25Speaker 6: but those are shows that are actually being aired currently
- 54:29Speaker 6: and we're watching. Then we also have what my lovely
- 54:33Speaker 6: wife calls a serious show, and then we have a
- 54:35Speaker 6: silly show. So serious show is like that is like Scandal, right,
- 54:40Speaker 6: like that we watched that one. We're like in the
- 54:42Speaker 6: mood to like actually digest something. Our silly show at
- 54:46Speaker 6: the moment is I'm blanking on it? New New Girl?
- 54:53Speaker 6: New Girl is yes, yes, because we like to watch
- 54:59Speaker 6: the girl with the band, so Joey. We like to
- 55:02Speaker 6: watch shows like that that have like a ton of
- 55:04Speaker 6: seasons because we watch a lot of TV, so you know,
- 55:07Speaker 6: it's got to be something that we can really watch,
- 55:10Speaker 6: like you know, eight nine seasons, otherwise we'll get through
- 55:15Speaker 6: it in a week and then it's like, well what now.
- 55:18Speaker 6: So Scandal I think is like seven or eight seasons.
- 55:20Speaker 6: New Girls a lot. New Girls like six or seven
- 55:22Speaker 6: seasons also, So it depends on our mood, you know,
- 55:26Speaker 6: like what you know, what are we okay?
- 55:27Speaker 4: What happened? You used to watch everything? I used to
- 55:29Speaker 4: tell me what to watch. Yeah.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Like I said, I'm having commitment problems.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Yeah, a little concerned about you know.
- 55:35Speaker 5: Like I I know I'm missing a lot of really
- 55:38Speaker 5: good show.
- 55:39Speaker 4: You didn't watch Paradise. Nope, I think Paradise.
- 55:42Speaker 7: Is right, neighbors. I was in a similar place to
- 55:45Speaker 7: you and I saw the light with those two shows.
- 55:47Speaker 3: I think you would really like Paradise. I think that's
- 55:49Speaker 3: a Fred type show probably.
- 55:52Speaker 5: Like I said, I I'm I admit that I'm missing
- 55:54Speaker 5: out on a lot, but I'm just having a problem.
- 55:56Speaker 7: Like I watched that boys, Paradise is a show where
- 55:59Speaker 7: I was like thinking about it throughout the day, like, oh,
- 56:01Speaker 7: I can't wait to watch the next episode.
- 56:03Speaker 4: That is really good.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Just doesn't really it's not a just show, She's not really.
- 56:08Speaker 3: I think I think she would really like it because
- 56:11Speaker 3: I'm not really sci fi either, and you can you
- 56:13Speaker 3: get right past it.
- 56:15Speaker 4: It's not really that.
- 56:17Speaker 6: So we watched the pilot and I was I was hooked. Yeah,
- 56:24Speaker 6: she enjoyed ninety five percent of it, and then when
- 56:26Speaker 6: she discovered what the twist is, she was like, so.
- 56:32Speaker 4: I would put your foot down in your.
- 56:34Speaker 7: Marriage for a change, I know, see it through.
- 56:38Speaker 4: And tell her to plow through it.
- 56:40Speaker 7: You can get if you're engaged to that.
- 56:41Speaker 3: You get to episode seven of the first season, it's
- 56:44Speaker 3: one of the best episodes of anything I've ever watched.
- 56:49Speaker 3: And I'm not exaggerating. Yeah, and you guys know, I
- 56:52Speaker 3: watch a lot of crap.
- 56:53Speaker 6: Have you guys seen The Diplomat on Netflix? Also a
- 56:56Speaker 6: great show that we watched recently. If you're into like
- 56:59Speaker 6: political where like we like a lot of like whether
- 57:02Speaker 6: it's either political or lawyer.
- 57:05Speaker 7: Paradise to a t I mean, and that's why.
- 57:07Speaker 6: I like love scandals so much because it's a combination
- 57:10Speaker 6: of both political like stuff and what do they.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Call like the lawyer crime shows. They have a name
- 57:16Speaker 5: for those, like it's procedural shows.
- 57:19Speaker 6: But we're not talking law in order. We're talking more
- 57:21Speaker 6: like Lincoln Lin scandal. Like the Judge I did?
- 57:26Speaker 4: That was judge.
- 57:29Speaker 7: That was Brian Cranston, the judge, his son.
- 57:33Speaker 3: His son I think killed somebody and they covered it
- 57:37Speaker 3: up terrific. See, that's my problem is a lot of
- 57:40Speaker 3: times I forget.
- 57:41Speaker 4: The names of that. That was a really good one,
- 57:43Speaker 4: that was excellent. I watched that.
- 57:44Speaker 2: I think it got a little bit shark jumpy towards
- 57:47Speaker 2: the end in the second season.
- 57:49Speaker 8: Do you watch the I'm not a medical show person,
- 57:52Speaker 8: like I didn't even do Gray's Anatomy.
- 57:54Speaker 7: We try to, which is dramatic, But I'm not.
- 57:58Speaker 4: High school with her. I have no interest.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Really.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Oh really, she was a year behind me in high school.
- 58:04Speaker 4: I new she was from She was a good kid.
- 58:05Speaker 4: I was just joking around. She was she was, She
- 58:08Speaker 4: was a nice kid.
- 58:09Speaker 6: I saw one severed foot in the pit, the pit,
- 58:13Speaker 6: and I was out, so'm I.
- 58:15Speaker 7: Can't but I not that kind I was.
- 58:19Speaker 3: I brought that up because one of the doctors on
- 58:21Speaker 3: the pit is Brian Cranston's daughter.
- 58:23Speaker 4: Oh really, who I had? I had no idea?
- 58:26Speaker 2: Cool? All right, we got calls, so we're gonna get
- 58:30Speaker 2: to them right after this.

- 1:00:52Speaker 17: what the number was, but twenty digits twenty or so,
- 1:00:55Speaker 17: you know, new guys, you know that came in and
- 1:00:58Speaker 17: you guys, all of a sudden take flight with Tom
- 1:01:01Speaker 17: what was you know that whole that whole thing like.
- 1:01:05Speaker 13: Uh, he got an opportunity, you know, due to injury,
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: and I think Drew had just signed for one hundred
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: million that year, so we nobody thought that, oh, this
- 1:01:16Speaker 13: is this is going to happen. Tom's about to take
- 1:01:18Speaker 13: over the one hundred million dollar quarterback, Drew's job, or
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: whatever the case may be. We just figured that, you know,
- 1:01:27Speaker 13: Drew has an injury and Tom's taking over. I think
- 1:01:30Speaker 13: Tom wasn't a third quarterback at the time.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Well he moved up in that he did camp and.
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: You were okay. So there was a lot that took
- 1:01:42Speaker 13: place that year. By the way, we lost our quarterback
- 1:01:45Speaker 13: coach Raybond in camp, So there was a lot that
- 1:01:49Speaker 13: was going on in that in that year. But nobody
- 1:01:52Speaker 13: thought that was going to like that switch. Nobody thought
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: that Tom was going to just come in take the
- 1:01:59Speaker 13: position nowhere, because even when he came, we didn't we
- 1:02:02Speaker 13: didn't just go on a winning spree right away. I
- 1:02:04Speaker 13: think our record was all close to five hundred. Yeah, ms,
- 1:02:07Speaker 13: you were six and six, right, yeah, So you know,
- 1:02:11Speaker 13: nobody thought that, Okay, this is that was like, this
- 1:02:14Speaker 13: is what happens when there's an injury, next got next
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: man up. But to our surprise in the meeting, when
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: Drew got healthy, and Bill had that innate ability to
- 1:02:29Speaker 13: see that this is where we was going and there's
- 1:02:33Speaker 13: a there's a history to that, and people don't like
- 1:02:36Speaker 13: I dug a little deeper. Bill Belichick had played against Drew.
- 1:02:42Speaker 13: He played against Drew with the Jets, he played against
- 1:02:45Speaker 13: Drew with Cleveland when he was coaching with the Jets
- 1:02:49Speaker 13: with Bill, and then when he was the head coach
- 1:02:52Speaker 13: with Cleveland, he played against Drew. So as a defensive
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: minded coach, you kind of dig into the quarterback and
- 1:02:59Speaker 13: all those different things. So maybe he had a lot
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: more insight of where Drew how far he could go.
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: I don't know what year that was for Drew. Drew
- 1:03:09Speaker 13: came in.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: His first year was ninety three, eight or nine years.
- 1:03:15Speaker 13: Eight or nine years, So you kind of know what
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: a guy is by then, and you do have experienced
- 1:03:18Speaker 13: game planning against him. So maybe he knew his ceiling,
- 1:03:22Speaker 13: maybe he knew his flaws, maybe he knew, you know,
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: what he could or couldn't do, or whatever the case
- 1:03:28Speaker 13: may be. I just think that was a pretty historical move.
- 1:03:34Speaker 13: When the owner gives a quarterback one hundred million dollars
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: and you got a guy got to be right, You
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: better be right. You got a guy who's coming in
- 1:03:44Speaker 13: playing playing good. There's nothing's jumping off the charts. At
- 1:03:47Speaker 13: the time, our defense was probably the callus on the team,
- 1:03:50Speaker 13: no question about it. And you hand over the throne
- 1:03:53Speaker 13: when when Drew gets healthy and we get that. We
- 1:03:56Speaker 13: had that team meeting and he says, listen, he's says,
- 1:04:02Speaker 13: I always do what's best for the team, not the individual,
- 1:04:06Speaker 13: and some of my decisions may not always be popular
- 1:04:10Speaker 13: for individuals or some people, but I'm always going to
- 1:04:13Speaker 13: do what's best for the team, and saying that we're
- 1:04:18Speaker 13: going to continue to move forward with Tom as a quarterback,
- 1:04:23Speaker 13: because you know, the media was like, it's Drew healthy,
- 1:04:25Speaker 13: when is he coming back.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: And all that.
- 1:04:27Speaker 13: That was our meeting when he handed it over the
- 1:04:30Speaker 13: time and we all kind of looked around like, okay,
- 1:04:36Speaker 13: a little a little surprised, just like we were surprised
- 1:04:39Speaker 13: when he did the thing with Lawyer. You know again,
- 1:04:45Speaker 13: same speech. You know, it's my decisions isn't always based
- 1:04:50Speaker 13: on individuals, it's best on based on what's best for
- 1:04:53Speaker 13: the team. And he traded Drew and you know, Lawyer
- 1:04:57Speaker 13: to Buffalo and took over. But even before that, he
- 1:05:05Speaker 13: announced that Tom was going to be the quarterback. And
- 1:05:08Speaker 13: then when Tom got hurt and Drew started against Pittsburgh
- 1:05:12Speaker 13: was at the ANC champion, came in, heah, and Drew
- 1:05:16Speaker 13: had a phenomenal game. Everybody's kind of like, okay, we're
- 1:05:19Speaker 13: going back. We're gonna go back to Drew. Came in
- 1:05:23Speaker 13: the meeting, did the same thing. Times are started because
- 1:05:26Speaker 13: the media, you guys, everybody starts going crazy. We got
- 1:05:30Speaker 13: a controversy, we got a quarterback dilemma, we got this,
- 1:05:33Speaker 13: we got that. It's like nope, And even Drew thought
- 1:05:38Speaker 13: that was it, like he got it. He had got
- 1:05:40Speaker 13: his job back. Like I know, you guys have talked
- 1:05:43Speaker 13: to Drew and you guys, even Drew was like, Okay,
- 1:05:46Speaker 13: I did what I need to do. I played great,
- 1:05:49Speaker 13: we won. This is my dream. I'm gonna start in
- 1:05:53Speaker 13: the super Bowl and I'm gonna have an opportunity to
- 1:05:57Speaker 13: win because when I had my other opportunity, I didn't
- 1:06:00Speaker 13: I didn't do what I need to do. So I'm
- 1:06:02Speaker 13: gonna win this time. And then again in the meeting,
- 1:06:06Speaker 13: Bill makes the call, we're going to time. We're going
- 1:06:09Speaker 13: back to Tim. He's our quarterback. And that's the direction
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: we're moving in. I don't want anybody talking about it
- 1:06:14Speaker 13: in the media. I'm doing what's best for the team.
- 1:06:17Speaker 13: Like I said, everybody might not like it. The room
- 1:06:20Speaker 13: just went the air, just out of the room. It
- 1:06:23Speaker 13: was like, all right, let's go.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: That one to me.
- 1:06:28Speaker 17: Didn't surprise me as much because I thought that one
- 1:06:31Speaker 17: was all about Tom's ankle. If Tom was healthy, I felt.
- 1:06:34Speaker 17: I felt like the way he had played for you guys,
- 1:06:36Speaker 17: he deserved. And I was a huge Drew guy, you
- 1:06:38Speaker 17: know that. But the first one did surprise me. I thought,
- 1:06:43Speaker 17: when Drew was healthy, he'd get a chance to win
- 1:06:45Speaker 17: his job back. And Bill basically said, that's not going
- 1:06:47Speaker 17: to happen.
- 1:06:47Speaker 13: You don't pay a guy that much, right, And if
- 1:06:51Speaker 13: you're paying a quarterback that much, how many lives does
- 1:06:54Speaker 13: he have? Absolutely, he has a million lives, no matter what. Right.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: And it was bold. Yeah, and now great moments in history.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Well we're at it.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Have you guys heard the term yeat you say spell it?
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:07:14Speaker 18: My son said it last night, and it's apparently a
- 1:07:16Speaker 18: very common term now of It's basically, you like throwing
- 1:07:20Speaker 18: up for grabs, you eat something, you eat it. It he said, oh,
- 1:07:23Speaker 18: I eat it that one, And I said, excuse me,
- 1:07:25Speaker 18: what language you even speak it?
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Never heard it in my life.
- 1:07:27Speaker 18: Well, but I just assume it's one of those things
- 1:07:29Speaker 18: that probably start on Instagram and all of a sudden,
- 1:07:31Speaker 18: you know, and that would that I might tweet about it,
- 1:07:33Speaker 18: you know, involved in that kind of I might tweet.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Something say I eat it. See what the kids do?
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: Yeah, I have no idea, but you don't know how
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: to spell it.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: I would assume why E E T, But I.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Don't know yet. No, Ja, that's another great moment from.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: All right back here and Patriots on filtered eight five
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: five pass five.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: I just defend ourselves. That was a very very long
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: time ago.
- 1:08:01Speaker 12: You know what.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: Well, it's it's kind of over now, but yeah, but
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: that's how long ago it was.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I haven't heard that word in a minute.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Podcast at pages dot.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Com, Benjamin from Georgia has been hanging on. What's up, Benjamin, Benjamin,
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: it's been hanging on so long, I've got his service
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: cut off. Let's go to uh SPI and Fresno.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: What's up?
- 1:08:25Speaker 12: Speed, Hey, guys, it's actually Cody and Fresno. Cody, I
- 1:08:30Speaker 12: don't know yeah, no problem, No problem with that. I
- 1:08:33Speaker 12: wanted to touch on a couple of things earlier, and
- 1:08:35Speaker 12: then I have a football question. With the movie thing
- 1:08:38Speaker 12: a big thing for me and shows two. They can't
- 1:08:41Speaker 12: be predictable and if I could figure out the plot
- 1:08:45Speaker 12: or a big point in the story or something, it
- 1:08:48Speaker 12: just ruins it for me. You know, whether I'm right.
- 1:08:51Speaker 12: Most of the time, I feel like I am. I
- 1:08:52Speaker 12: say it is predictable. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. But that's
- 1:08:55Speaker 12: a big thing with the movies. I can't be predicting
- 1:08:58Speaker 12: exactly what's going.
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: On with it.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:09:01Speaker 12: The villain thing with Paul, I totally give it. The
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: villains have to be compelling, you know, if they're not
- 1:09:06Speaker 12: interesting or riveting or whatever. You know, a couple of
- 1:09:10Speaker 12: ones that come to buy a Christopher Wall's character and
- 1:09:13Speaker 12: Glorious Bastard, you know, like crazy but he was just
- 1:09:18Speaker 12: on the edge of your seat every time he's on screen. Yep, Django,
- 1:09:22Speaker 12: mister Candy. That was a good one. And then the
- 1:09:26Speaker 12: Joker in the Dark Knight obviously the Great Villains.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but a lot.
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: Of these ones you're talking about I haven't seen, And
- 1:09:33Speaker 12: again I don't know if it's a kid thing. I
- 1:09:34Speaker 12: don't feel comfortable watching graphic or violent movies with children around.
- 1:09:38Speaker 12: I don't know if you guys feel the same, so
- 1:09:40Speaker 12: I really don't. I don't have the time. I hear
- 1:09:42Speaker 12: you like shows and movies these days.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: Yeah, when we saw It Departed in the movies, there
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: was a like a eight year old girl sitting in
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: the row ahead of us with their family.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: It was like, what are you doing bringing her to this?
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: But whatever, even she thought it was schlocky.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: That happened to me with the Wolf of Wall Street.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: With your parents, there was a child, Oh no.
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: With my parents. He had no idea that it was
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: like that. Yeah, sexual, pretty stuff and the drugs and
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: stuff is whatever.
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: But just yeah, hey girl, yeah.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: You got that right.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Football question.
- 1:10:24Speaker 12: One thing I did watch recently was the highlights of
- 1:10:26Speaker 12: the season. I'll watch those videos and the one player
- 1:10:30Speaker 12: on offense that just stood out a lot to me.
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: Maybe not the most we know, Diggs was the most productive.
- 1:10:35Speaker 12: I feel like Matt Collins was an underrated, unsung hero
- 1:10:39Speaker 12: of the season last year. He was always productive and
- 1:10:43Speaker 12: showing up when his number was called. I don't remember
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: any plays he dropped or missed. I feel like, is
- 1:10:49Speaker 12: he underutilized? Is he underrated? Is he a number one
- 1:10:52Speaker 12: receiver masquerading as a number two? What's the deal. He's athletic,
- 1:10:57Speaker 12: he's big, he's capable, he gets a open and he
- 1:11:00Speaker 12: catches the ball. I feel like, should he be a
- 1:11:02Speaker 12: bigger part of the offense and how can we use
- 1:11:05Speaker 12: him more? I mean, I know Josh McDaniels even said
- 1:11:07Speaker 12: like he said all the right things about him. He said,
- 1:11:08Speaker 12: you get the big play when you need it, but
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: we want the big play all the time. Seems to
- 1:11:13Speaker 12: get it. So I think I think.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: He is what he is, and I think if you
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: try to do more with him, he gets a little exposed.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: But I think what they're doing with him is perfect.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: I think he is cast absolutely really good, complimentary receiver
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: like on and off.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: The field, great locker room guy, great personality.
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: Rooms for those young guys in the receiver room.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like we get a lot of questions
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: about you know, why are we talking about trading Booty
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: instead of mac collins, you know, thinking that Booty has
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: more upside, which I would agree, But maccollins is just
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: he's one of those glue guy types. You know, a
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: veteran that takes on that leadership role and takes on
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: that responsibility of being an elder statesman in the room,
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: makes plays when his numbers called upon blocks, but he's
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: exactly where he should be. He's a third fourth receiver. That's,
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: you know, a nice piece to have, a nice versatile player.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: The most interesting Patriots fan of the world. James Pettigrew's
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: on the line. What's up, James.
- 1:12:16Speaker 19: I'm actually calling for Paul because a friend of mine
- 1:12:19Speaker 19: was an extra on a Saving Private Ryan. So the
- 1:12:23Speaker 19: majority of extras they used. Yeah, he's told me some
- 1:12:27Speaker 19: really fresh stories from it. The majority of extras they
- 1:12:30Speaker 19: use were actually the Irish Army because they shot it
- 1:12:32Speaker 19: in the UK, but they took some equivalent of ROTC
- 1:12:37Speaker 19: people and form them into a platoon and they were
- 1:12:40Speaker 19: used to play the Germans. And he played a German
- 1:12:43Speaker 19: in a lot of the scenes and in the final
- 1:12:45Speaker 19: scene as well. And he said, the first thing is
- 1:12:47Speaker 19: that they've had these makeup people called the dirt Girls,
- 1:12:50Speaker 19: and they would come in and basically use brushes to
- 1:12:53Speaker 19: put dirt in every single crevice in your hands. They
- 1:12:57Speaker 19: said it would take you like an hour, and they
- 1:12:58Speaker 19: basically spend an hour rushing all the dirt into everythingle
- 1:13:01Speaker 19: look and cranny. The other thing he said is that
- 1:13:04Speaker 19: he had to go into prosthetics and have a wound
- 1:13:07Speaker 19: done for like three hours. So they did this amazing
- 1:13:09Speaker 19: wound on his knee and then they wrapped a bandage
- 1:13:12Speaker 19: on it and he's like, what the hell are you
- 1:13:13Speaker 19: doing and they said, no, no, it's just in case the
- 1:13:15Speaker 19: bandage slips. So in every scene in Saving Private Ryon,
- 1:13:19Speaker 19: when you see a bandage, like underneath is a three
- 1:13:22Speaker 19: or four hour makeup job that's been bandaged up that
- 1:13:26Speaker 19: you'll never see. It was ridiculous attention to detail that
- 1:13:31Speaker 19: they did. Now, a couple of years later, we were
- 1:13:34Speaker 19: at the same platoon at Sandhurst, which is the military academy,
- 1:13:38Speaker 19: and I remember we all thought, oh, let's go as
- 1:13:39Speaker 19: a platoon to go and see the movie and we'll
- 1:13:41Speaker 19: see Bill And we were really like holding out to
- 1:13:45Speaker 19: like the first scene where you could sort of see it.
- 1:13:47Speaker 19: And I remember there were thirty of us in the
- 1:13:49Speaker 19: platoon and we're in the cinema and you see his
- 1:13:52Speaker 19: arms waving in the background and we let out this
- 1:13:54Speaker 19: massive cheer. Right Unfortunately, it was like the war Office
- 1:13:58Speaker 19: scene where they're gathering the heelograms, so they're actually finding
- 1:14:01Speaker 19: out that all four Ryans are dead, and we will
- 1:14:05Speaker 19: start letting out this massive cheer because we see him
- 1:14:07Speaker 19: in the background, and then everyone sort of looks at
- 1:14:09Speaker 19: us and we're sort of very stilent things like that,
- 1:14:13Speaker 19: he said, being an extras.
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: Totally Now he ended up.
- 1:14:17Speaker 19: He joined the infantry.
- 1:14:18Speaker 12: He made it to.
- 1:14:18Speaker 19: Colonel Bills, so obviously he did something right. A quick
- 1:14:21Speaker 19: one for Paul, is your still son still long for
- 1:14:24Speaker 19: joining the Rangers or.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going to be a sophomore at the Citadel
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: down in Charleston, South Carolina, And yeah, that's that's where
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: his path is probably going to take him.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: A Ranger school. Yeah.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:14:37Speaker 13: Nice.
- 1:14:37Speaker 19: I've got some very good friends who arranges the officers
- 1:14:41Speaker 19: that are all complete meatheads. So as long as he's
- 1:14:43Speaker 19: a slight meat heead, it'll be totally fine.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: He'll love it.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, i'd say a slight very good.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: He's the one that just ran the marathon for fun.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, so.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's still bothering them.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: He was supposed to run a k this afternoon, but
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: I don't think he's gonna be able to do it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: Yeah, that what he said about the detail, Like I
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: saw it. It wasn't a documentary, but behind the scenes
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: of the making of that scene for Private Ryan, the
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: detail that they went into, you know, Yeah.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: Such a classic classic. It's probably my favorite Spielberg movie.
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: What was the one We're gonna pretend you saw Jaws?
- 1:15:23Speaker 13: Right?
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: Rats?
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: Or Jurassic Park.
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: I like Jurassic Park.
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: Saving Private Ryan is just like I love a war movie.
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: I love the cast The cast was so much better
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: than you even remember too, Like Brian Cranston's in that
- 1:15:41Speaker 8: movie too, movie.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: An incredible character.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: And Diesels even good in that and him traditionally as
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: a great actor.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: But at the end, when you know, when they're all
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: dying and.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: He's just a flesh on like he's like clearly dead,
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: so good to take out like pistol and start like,
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: it's just an incredible.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: What about Platoon? Did you see that?
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: I've seen it once long ago.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a tough one.
- 1:16:09Speaker 9: It's a little too much. Platoon's a little too much.
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: It's like cartoony almost, It's like cartoony. Yeah that's what
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: I think.
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: Oh I could see that.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Okay, now, though full metal Jacket Jacket.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Do you like World War one or two movies better
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: than like Vietnam movies?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: I haven't really seen a lot of Vietnam.
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: I mean Apocalypse Now, but that wasn't really a war
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: movie to me, you know.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I agree.
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: There's so many that was based off the book Dark Darkness,
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: and so it was just set in during the war,
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: but it really had nothing.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: To do with the war.
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: You can say the same thing about Deer Hunter.
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Deer Hunter wasn't war movie, but right, that's the lasting
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: deer Hunters.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Incredible. Talk about crazy a movie that stays with you. Yeah,
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Oh my god is.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: The old soul when it comes to movies.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I love movies.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: What's the movie I'm waiting from to say I didn't
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: see that? Yeah, I haven't heard that.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: What's the movie that was set in the World War
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: two Pacific and it was based on this real battle
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: that happened where like everybody got killed except for a
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: few obviously.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I forget the name of it.
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: No base is looking it up, probably like.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Ten years old, maybe fifteen.
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: I don't know that one.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: I don't watch a lot of them, I have to
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: be honest. I mean, I've seen most of the ones
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: we're talking about, but okay, they depressed me. Like I
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: just think of how ill equipped I would have been
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: to be sometimes drafted into the military. I would not
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: have handled it. I have so much respect for those people.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: I have so much respect for my son with what
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: he wants to do. Yeah, I couldn't have that soft.
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: I don't know what Andrew's talking about. I really do
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: like the off season topic, especially the movie talk. I
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: think character development is one of the most important things
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: in movies and TV shows, books, and even video games.
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: Even with the best plot, the story won't have the
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: same impact if the characters aren't good.
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: I would say, I agree with that. On TV shows
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: because it's yours, it's episode to episode, season to season,
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: like you want to see. The Game of Thrones is
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: obviously probably the pinnacle of character development. But when it's
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: like a two hour movie or shorter, it's like, but.
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: Why do I care about these people?
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: If it's like, if it's some kind of action movie
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: and people are going to die, why do I care
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: if they die?
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: If I don't have any connections?
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: Agree?
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Right now?
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: Are you talking about against the Sun? Is all you're
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: talking about Red.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think no, no.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: I go to the movies to be entertained. If I
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: want to think about something, I'll watch a TV show
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: that has multiple seasons of build up.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: But don't you sometimes get entertained by something that makes
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: you think.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Well, those are two different things to me.
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: Yeah, like Interstellar, doesn't that make it?
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: Character development and making me think are two different things
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: to me.
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: I liked Interstellar, Yeah you did.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not really I I with you expressing uh,
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: you know, wonderment and me liking that because it's not
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: my kind of movie.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: That's the kind of movie.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: But I liked it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: There's there's well laships involved. Yeah, usually you're out on
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: but again.
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: But there's a strong go to.
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: It story, the love of father has for his kids
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: and his daughter.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: There's a plot, and then you you throw a random
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: Matt Damon character in there.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: Very hate herble, good stuff. There's character development.
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: That's the one thing part about Interstellar.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I don't like the Matt Damon people is that Damon.
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: Fistfighting Matt Damon people think they've seen it. I think
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: the twist and the scene is fine. I just why
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: does it have to be Matt Damon, Like it's just
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: why not, because it just takes me out of it.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: I was like, really, Matt Damon.
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: That's how I feel about Matt Damon when he's in
- 1:19:52Speaker 9: like period pieces like the Last Duel or even in
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: the Odyssey and no it's not out yet.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Oh it's not out yet.
- 1:19:59Speaker 6: Okay, No, yeah, I just it just was like kind
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: of that when I saw that could have been anybody
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: else and I would have been like, that was a
- 1:20:05Speaker 6: great scene, great twist, whatever, you.
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: Like when he was about when Matt Damon's a little
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: baby and saving Private Ryan, does that take you out
- 1:20:14Speaker 8: of it?
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: I don't know, Just like I think the part with Interest,
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: he was just too famous of an actor to play
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: that role.
- 1:20:20Speaker 8: About McConaughey, who else is in that movie?
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: Is the main character and he's in the whole movie.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: This was like, this was like a twenty minute scene
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: that that Matt Damons all of a sudden just in
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: and I was.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: I hear what you're saying.
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: It kind of like, oh, that's Matt Damon instead of oh,
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: this is a doctor whatever his name was.
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: And like the one of the biggest plot lines of
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: the entire movie like that. It like ties, the whole
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: thing was kind of over.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: You didn't really need him. No, it could have been anybody,
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: could have been anybody.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: I hear it.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: I kind of I kind of understand what you're saying.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: A movie along.
- 1:20:51Speaker 8: Yeah, but I was like, Matthew McConaughey and matt Damon
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: are in this movie.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: I'm going, yeah, but he was in the movie for
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: like twenty minutes.
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: It was a very good one minutes.
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, No, it was a grade twenty minutes.
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: But it just was good.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: It just couldn't it could have been anybody. It didn't
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: have to be mad.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: Kate has the answer Hacksaw Ridge, Oh saw Ridge. That
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: was so good.
- 1:21:12Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, that was about that was Andrew Garfield, right,
- 1:21:15Speaker 9: and he's the guy.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, anyone like ad Astra.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: No, see, never, I didn't see it. If you like it,
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: dollar you kind of I didn't see it and say
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: I didn't like.
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: It, though I've heard I've heard of it. I never saw.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: I really liked it. People A lot of people don't
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: like it. I like, I really liked it. It's slow,
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: it's you know, science fiction. Yeah, I guess it is.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: But it's and it's quiet ad Astra, it's very quiet.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Speaking of quiet, what about the one with Sandra Bullock Gravity? Yeah,
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: I like Gravity.
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: Didn't see that.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: I liked it, but it wasn't as good as interesting
- 1:21:56Speaker 7: for me.
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: And they came out around similar ish, like within like
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: a year or so of each other.
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: I usually do like those types of movies though, where
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: there's not a ton of dialogue.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: And Emmy Adams one with jerm was it Trimmy Runner,
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: I don't know. It's Emmy Adams, it's The Arrival and
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: it's also alien sci fi s Yeah, similar timeframe, really good.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: Yeah. I do usually like those types of movies, like
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: Castaway type of movies, where like people don't talk for
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: a while and you just kind of let the it
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: just does this. It's storytelling on its own movie. Yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: those movies are cool to me, but Gravity. I didn't love.
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: Bill in Norfolk. I would suggest checking out Windows Bay.
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: Widows Widows Bay.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: It's a great horror comedy just finished its first season
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: about in small New England island in its mayor who
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: was trying to increase tourism but doesn't uh doesn't release
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: The Island is probably cursed. Fantastic comedy and horror themes
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: with a great cast.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: It's a dark comedy, white lotacy. It's worth your time.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: It's you know, it's only I think there's only like
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: six or eight episodes still in.
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: New England is like the coolest place to shoot shows
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: and movies right now. I feel like, yeah, so many shows.
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: Speaking of a sad movie, Manchester Bay.
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: Manchester, he never quite gets him right, what sad?
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: Another one.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: It's one of the best movies I never never want to.
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: See again, Alex.
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: I got Alex on that movie.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: I wish that Fred told me all about this and
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: said how sad it was, and I refused to watch
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: it because I.
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: Didn't want to put my I I've never seen It's
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: a great movie. I wish you know. Casey Affleck is
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: not not exactly the best human being, but great movie.
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: Great twist in that movie too, I would say it's
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: kind of a twist.
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but he's right. There's a lot of Gone Baby
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: Gone like.
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: Good movies that you never want to see again.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: Yeah, that's definitely.
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: I I like them both.
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: Congress a great movie.
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: I like them both.
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: I like Gone Baby Gone too, I think they're very similar,
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: and I liked them both. I didn't like the part
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: where they were an evert on Gone Baby Gone the
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: drug Den and Evert was not.
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: That was not my favorite. Oh yeah, no, Gentrified, not
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: so much badly Gentrified.
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: Anthony says, Power is the show on stars by fifty cent.
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: I'm bringing it up because by the end of the
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: first series you absolutely hate Ghosts son. Ghost is the
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: main character and his son Tariq ends up killing him.
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I've seen that one, and it like
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: that one gets weird if I am thinking of the
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: same show.
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: I know the show. I didn't watch it.
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: It's good. The first couple of seasons are really good,
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: and then it's it gets weird too much.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: Dustin says, the worst person in cinema history, in my opinion,
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: is the mother from the book turned movie Flowers in
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: the Attic.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: You haven't read the book, you need to immediately. I
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: heard it was a really good book.
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: But these kids that were held kept in an attic
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: really or something like that?
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Or is that why the cage bird sings? I don't know.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm thinking of a lot of different things, and
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: I don't know if I know what this is.
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: So Justin also has a list of movies that are
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: better than the book good.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: He starts with Jaws.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: Agree, Oh, that's absolutely read. I've never I've read the book.
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: It's Peter Peter.
- 1:25:31Speaker 9: Peter did Jurassic Park. Yeah, what Crichighton did Jurassic Park?
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: All right, Crichton did, right, I read both of them.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: But yeah, eventually Godfather.
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: I didn't know that the book movie was better than
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: the book.
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: I didn't know the movie is great.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: I've never heard anybody say anything bad about the book though. See,
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: I just didn't read any of.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: The Jurassic Park.
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: I agree, you got to see the dinosaurs, right Forrest Gump,
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: I didn't know there was a book, but okay, uh,
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: good Fellas.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: There's books to these, I guess so die Hard there
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: was a book.
- 1:26:03Speaker 9: What, Wow, I got to read the Diehard.
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: I don't think these are necessarily embracing the spirit of it.
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, like Harry Potter, you know that that would
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: be that's that's a I think maybe there's a debate there.
- 1:26:16Speaker 14: I think that's the closest probably a movie that was
- 1:26:18Speaker 14: what came up initially, But that would be a controversial.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: Definitely, like Magical, but that's clockwork.
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Doctor Strange Guy.
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: Like these are probably movies that are based loosely off
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: of books.
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: There was a great movie I Didn't Know, No Country
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: for Old Men, talking about being on the edge of
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: your sit.
- 1:26:39Speaker 9: It's almost like page to film. It's the same exact thing,
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: is it. Yeah, it's one of the best book to
- 1:26:44Speaker 9: movie adaptations out.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: Okay, there will be blood remember that one.
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: Oh yeah, Oh, it's one of my favorite movies of
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: all time. Yeah, number one.
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: I'm learning about Alex today.
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: Yeah too.
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: I'm telling you, I'm waiting for him to say definitely,
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: and we have not heard him say yet.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Show Shank Redemption, Stephen King King book, great movie. Silence
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: of the Lambs, Oh my god.
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: That I don't know what one's better. I've read the
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: book and seen the movie we were just talking about
- 1:27:13Speaker 9: a lot.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Is one of my favor perfect movie.
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: Just great movie.
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: Also one of the great PFW covers of all time.
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Fred and I were involved with Silences. I just love
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: criticizing the twice the at the time, the Foxborough stadiums.
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: I love so many different like villain arcs of that movie,
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: like obviously like that. You know, they have basically two
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: villains in that movie, and they're kind of related, but
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: they're not fully related, and it just like how it
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: all ties together in the end. Perfect movie.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: Yeah, Harry read any of the books, so I can't
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: tell you.
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: These book adaptations. I have questions about, Like I did
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: not know that these all these movies had books. Which
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: one came first.
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: I'm not sure if I agree with this one. Jake
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: says Dune's movies have been better than the books.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: I'm not sure about that, but oh, they love those movies.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: The movies are fantastic, they really are.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: That's a perfect The cinematography, that's.
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: A perfect You talk about plane movie, It's long, but great.
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: I've seen I've probably seen both of them. I actually
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: this might be a little bit of hot take on
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: the deal. I kind of like Dune Part one better
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: than part two, which I know a lot of people
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: like Part two better. I really just liked the finding
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: out more about like the family and the origin of
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: like how this war came about, you.
- 1:28:37Speaker 9: Know, characters.
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: I watched them out of order, so that was probably
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: part of it. Yeah, I watched two before one, Okay,
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: because I I don't know why I just did, but.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: I can't wait for the third one to come out.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: I can't either the Winter Andrew in Westchester, New York.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: From one Andrew to another.
- 1:28:56Speaker 5: I completely disagree with your take that listeners do not
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: like non foball topics. I'd much rather listen to the
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: PU crew talk about something non football at this time
- 1:29:04Speaker 5: of the year than regurgitate the same offseason topics over
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: and over again. Two completely agree that The Town is
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: a great movie. In fact, I feel like it's one
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: of the most underrated movies in the last fifteen years.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Maybe it's because I'm not in.
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: The Boston area, but I feel like people don't talk
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: about this movie enough. And three, someone please tell Evan
- 1:29:26Speaker 5: that we cannot take this conspiracy theories seriously when he
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: says the moon landing was fake. There is no such
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: thing as the moon landing. There were actually six of them.
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: If you really pulled off the biggest sham in the
- 1:29:40Speaker 5: history of the world that completely fooled all three billion
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: people on the planet at the time, there is zero
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: chance you'd try to do it five more times at
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: the risk of something going wrong in any of them.
- 1:29:51Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean the film The Moonlanding was filmed. Kuprick
- 1:29:55Speaker 9: did film The moon Landing, but he is such perfectionists
- 1:29:58Speaker 9: he had to do it on location.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Ah funny, funny movie humor. Yeah, he had that one
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: in his back pocket.
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: I told you my conspiracy theories that I've delved into
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: get me into trouble. That's why I don't like talking
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: about it on the air because people get mad at me.
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: And finally, just wondering if Alex watched any of the
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: Montreal Canadians playoff run this year. Seeing the shots of
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: crowd where every single male between the age of seventy
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: and seven and seventy was wearing a jersey made me
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: think of her. I guess she won't be dating any
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: Canadian men anytime soon.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: That's not Alan, that's Meghan.
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: Mean, though I'm on the record agreeing.
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: With Yeah, Meghan doesn't understand why grown men would wear
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: the shirt of another man.
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: I agree to the extent that I find myself in.
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: The context of a playoff run is a little different.
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: I'm talking like, like out randomly. Yeah, I feel like
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: I never do that, but even now I feel like
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: I'm starting to get a little old to be wearing
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: a jersey to a sporting mm hmm.
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: But like what else I shirt Iroltics or quarters it.
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: I would love, yeah, perfect, but like I think it
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: show the colors millions on the sport. Like the hockey
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: sweater is like just objectively a comfortable thing.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: You don't need to have one with a name plate.
- 1:31:20Speaker 6: Blank one, which I will say maybe uns is the
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: like the.
- 1:31:26Speaker 8: Players that are just like Bobby or Bruins jersey totally cool. Yeah,
- 1:31:30Speaker 8: like objectively you're not wearing like a kid's.
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: It's just the perfect thing to wear it in the
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: game because it's a little chilly in there, because you
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: are at a hockey game and it's a nice layer
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: to have on, and it just is comfy and it
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: grew me. I don't know, I just like wearing them.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: I don't know why hockey jersey doesn't bother me as much.
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: As flor and Happy Go more though.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, if you're over the age of I
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: don't know, eighteen, really you really should stop.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she she, I agree with you.
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: How about how about twenty twenty five? You make it
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: twenty five so like through college.
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: When most of the athletes on the field are younger
- 1:32:10Speaker 8: than you, it's time.
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: Yeah, And that's when it started to get weird for me,
- 1:32:15Speaker 6: when I started to realize, like I'm older than these people. Yeah,
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: that I'm wearing these jerseys of.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: Well, wearing a jerseys fine, but with the name.
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: That's where I draw the line, like like a baseball
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: shirt's Night's a nice button down baseball shirt. But yeah,
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: if you have your strem Ski in the back, it's like,
- 1:32:32Speaker 5: what are you doing?
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: Well, we don't have like basketball, they don't make jerseys
- 1:32:36Speaker 6: without names on the back.
- 1:32:38Speaker 7: Well, like a basketball jersey. Also why we don't want
- 1:32:41Speaker 7: to wear that as Like, no.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: You can't buy like a Celtics jersey, for like an
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: actual Celtics jersey, not like one. I could go on
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: eBay and probably buy one, but like.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: An authentic blank, you can't buy an authentic blank.
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: They don't sell those really and the like, I guess
- 1:32:56Speaker 6: you could customize one and just order it to have
- 1:32:59Speaker 6: nothing on it, because because I'm paying more money just
- 1:33:02Speaker 6: to have say nothing that.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: You want an authentic jersey to wear?
- 1:33:09Speaker 6: The custom ones costage quarter zip my dad cool shirt
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: that we got like a season ticket holder thing that
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: he got in the like a quarter zip that they
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: sent him just for being a good guy. And he
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: that's what he wears because he's a dad.
- 1:33:28Speaker 7: He's a grown man.
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I hear you. The jersey is good. It's
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: I'm outdating, but you know I'm outgrowing it for sure.
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: Dave and Bethlehem. Try the list of Adrian Messenger. It's
- 1:33:39Speaker 5: a who done it with a cast list with a twist.
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: I never heard of it. The list of Adrian Messengers.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: We finally got one. Alex is nodding his head, shaking
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: his head. No one never heard of it.
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Okay, uh, let's see hated antagonists. This is from Sean
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: in Vancouver. In the nineteen eighty one made for TV
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: movie The Bunker, Anthony Hopkins portrayal of Adolf Hitler was
- 1:34:08Speaker 5: particularly loathsome a really terrible character that you root for
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: his demise.
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: Okay, I think that's supposed to be.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: I think, and this is yeah, this is a this
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: is a me problem. This is a me problem. I'm
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: not explaining this properly. We're not looking for a hated.
- 1:34:25Speaker 8: I understand what you're saying, right, We're looking hated, protest
- 1:34:31Speaker 8: likable antagonists.
- 1:34:33Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:34:33Speaker 7: No, to me, it was a likeable and honestly Hitler.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: No one's rooming for Hitler. That's like that, That's what
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: I'm saying. I don't think I'm explaining it properly.
- 1:34:43Speaker 6: I think that he was joking.
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: There's a million movies that you root against, you know,
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: like the James Spader slash Chiefer Subtling character. James Spader
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: was the hated guy in every movie he was ever in.
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: I mean there was like an eighties movie that he
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: was like picking on the poor kid in every movie.
- 1:35:01Speaker 8: Is there anyone, though, that's an antagonist that over time
- 1:35:04Speaker 8: you've actually been like, oh, I used to hate that character,
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: Now I'm with it.
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: I don't know, but you could probably.
- 1:35:10Speaker 8: Meredith Blake for me in The Parent Trap. Oh, She's like,
- 1:35:13Speaker 8: I'm like, this is the evil stepmom. But now I'm
- 1:35:16Speaker 8: older and I'm like, just like a hot twenty seven
- 1:35:19Speaker 8: year old, I was trying to marry this dude that
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: owned a vineyard.
- 1:35:21Speaker 7: Like I get it, I wonder why.
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: So, yeah, two underrated movies. I think wild things. You
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: ever see that?
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: No with who was the name of the two girls
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: Alex helped me out here.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: Denise Richards and Denise Ramble and nev camp I mean,
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: I might have seen it. Why did you see that one?
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: But it's a mystery. It's a murder mystery with a
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: twist at the end.
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: Matt Dylan was in it too.
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: Matt Dylon. It was a really good cast, Matt Dylan,
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: it was. It was a great cast, of course. And
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: then the other movie.
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: You mentioned, James Spader, him and Rob Low. It was
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: the first movie Rob Low did after his controversy where
- 1:36:06Speaker 5: he filmed the Underage Girl I think or something like
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: that where he kind of had to take some time off.
- 1:36:11Speaker 9: Bad influence, bad influence. Really good movie.
- 1:36:14Speaker 4: Didn't see that. I didn't see that.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: Really really good movies. That's why I said it's.
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: Under Wild Things isn't a random one.
- 1:36:21Speaker 6: I can't believe you haven't seen wild I mean, I'm I.
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: I haven't either.
- 1:36:25Speaker 9: I thought you said wild Ones with a wild brand.
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: I think it's wild Things. That's wild Things.
- 1:36:30Speaker 9: That's wild Things.
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: Yeah, really good movie. And also the other that other
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: one you just.
- 1:36:36Speaker 9: Said, Oh, bad influence, bad influence.
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think I saw that one.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: It's the like I said, Uh, Rob Low had this
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: incident where he filmed somebody he was having sex with
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: and she didn't know about it, and he got in
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: trouble for it. He had a hope. But the movie
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: he made after that, where he plays a really bad guy,
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: really bad good timing.
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: Yeah, so I would suggest, if you're looking for something
- 1:37:05Speaker 5: to watch, go watch that.
- 1:37:09Speaker 6: Really sold it.
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: I would speak, I don't want to give it away.
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: I don't want to give it away.
- 1:37:14Speaker 4: I mean spoiler alt. The movie's probably thirty years old.
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's but I think I think I think it
- 1:37:20Speaker 5: would hold up. I think it would hold up better
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: than some movies.
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: Man, Now he's gonna start making fun of John Hughes
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: movies and I'm gonna throw down on him.
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: Let's see my eighties, my eighties movies. Sixteen candles.
- 1:37:41Speaker 6: You never saw that.
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: I never saw it. Football. We got football, we got
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: we got Okay, go ahead, let's go. What's football?
- 1:37:49Speaker 5: Uh Mahen writes in I wanted to get your thoughts
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: on something. Why does it feel like Drake may is
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: becoming the forgotten guy from his draft class?
- 1:37:58Speaker 6: Oh gosh, I don't think that based on well.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: He goes on.
- 1:38:01Speaker 5: Everyone keeps talking about how Caleb Williams is going to
- 1:38:04Speaker 5: take a huge leap in year two because he's now
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: in Ben Johnson's offense. But aren't people forgetting that Drake
- 1:38:09Speaker 5: is also entering year two, except he's finally in Josh
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: McDaniel's offense. Last year he had a revolving door of
- 1:38:16Speaker 5: coaches and awful supporting cast, and still showed flashes that
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: made you believe he is.
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: This like your trash folder or something. Is this from
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: last year?
- 1:38:25Speaker 6: I'm confused?
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: Oh, it might be.
- 1:38:28Speaker 6: No.
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: No, this is for both Caleb Williams and for Drake May,
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: and year two in the system for both.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: Came in Thursday six, twenty five six.
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: And that's been talked about about Drake May incessantly throughout
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: the off season, to the point where you might want
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: to pick up the Patriots Yearbook when that is on newstands,
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: because there's a nice feature about Drake May and his
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: ascension into the Josh McDaniels system for the second year,
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: really the first time since he was in high school
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: that he was able to have the same offense for
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: two consecutive seats.
- 1:39:00Speaker 6: Since he says me Byeline Paul, he.
- 1:39:04Speaker 5: Says, one more thing. I saw will Campbell training with
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: some of the league's best left tackles, including Lane Johnson
- 1:39:09Speaker 5: and Tristan Wurf's email is.
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: Not gonna lie.
- 1:39:12Speaker 5: He looked like a t rex standing next to the lane,
- 1:39:14Speaker 5: but he actually looked pretty close in size. To worse,
- 1:39:17Speaker 5: it also looks like Campbell has put on some good
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: muscle this offseason. I think he's gonna silence a lot
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: of doubters and have a redemption year.
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: Lane Johnson right tackle plays the right side. But that
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: did happen. Yes, I saw those videos. I did see
- 1:39:33Speaker 6: the picture of the three of them standing next to
- 1:39:35Speaker 6: each other and Will Campbell's narrow shoulders they're there for
- 1:39:39Speaker 6: everybody to make fun of. I did see that as well.
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: But yeah, it's obviously it's good. I think a line
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: Masterminds coming up soon too. So that's another like summit
- 1:39:50Speaker 6: where a bunch of guys, uh, you know, the top
- 1:39:52Speaker 6: guys in the league all get together. There's a tight
- 1:39:54Speaker 6: end university, a line masterminds. Von Miller runs a pass
- 1:39:57Speaker 6: rush summit. That's what it is. It's a summit.
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: I've actually amazing that they played football for all those
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: years without all these I trusted marketing.
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: Sam get myself invited told masterminds for years. I would
- 1:40:11Speaker 6: love to go to that. It's not it's not a
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: marketing scam. It's run by players in the league and
- 1:40:17Speaker 6: they all get together and they exchange notes and.
- 1:40:20Speaker 7: It sounds so corporate.
- 1:40:22Speaker 6: And then they go to the bars and they go
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: to the bars and get hammered like that. You know,
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: it's it's what you do. I'm sure Will Campbell will
- 1:40:30Speaker 6: be involved in all those, which will be good.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Dustin says, opinions are like a holes. Everyone has one.
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: I'm thirty and we'll wear jerseys until I'm ninety five.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: It's called true fandom.
- 1:40:41Speaker 6: Yeah, Paul, you know.
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:43Speaker 5: You don't go to a sporting event to stand there
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: in a quarter zip like my grandfather and leave in
- 1:40:47Speaker 5: the fourth quarter. You go there to absolutely get hammered
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: and show off your absolutely sick team jerseys and laugh
- 1:40:54Speaker 5: at the other team when they lose.
- 1:40:56Speaker 6: Agreed.
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: So I'll tell you this about it.
- 1:40:58Speaker 7: I love it.
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: I'll tell you this about team Jersey is that I'm
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: a big fan of. And you touched on this about
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: Bobby or love throwbacks. I love vintage jerseys, you know,
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: old school.
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: Depends on how old the person is wearing it.
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: No, no, no, I wouldn't necessarily wear them. I wouldn't
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: mind having them though, like a collection of those.
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: I don't have any issues with that.
- 1:41:19Speaker 6: I just it depends. Like to me, I always think
- 1:41:22Speaker 6: it's kind of weird. You know. You see every once
- 1:41:24Speaker 6: in a while you'll see somebody my age wearing a
- 1:41:26Speaker 6: Larry Bird jersey. I wasn't alive when Larry the Bird
- 1:41:29Speaker 6: played basketball for the Celtics.
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's but you're respecting, you respect history.
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: That's why. That's why I think it's cool.
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know, I don't know.
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: I just feel like it's like, see I think like
- 1:41:40Speaker 5: if you're wearing an old Yankees button down with thirteen
- 1:41:43Speaker 5: or three and Ruth.
- 1:41:44Speaker 4: I was going to say, not with thirteen, but with
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: Ruth and three, that.
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: Would be cool.
- 1:41:49Speaker 6: Well, I would never.
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: I think, you know what a very the old Atlanta braves.
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: It's like a blue with the script braves on it
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: and like the checker you know, uh forty four Henry Aaron.
- 1:42:01Speaker 3: I think it's one of the sharpest looking platforms jerseys
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: as a throwback.
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: I think those are great.
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: Yeah, Or like the old Cardinals with Warren Spahn on
- 1:42:11Speaker 5: the back or something like that.
- 1:42:12Speaker 6: I would never wear any of these.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: I'm not necessarily wear black.
- 1:42:16Speaker 7: Jason Tatum addition, I.
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: Wouldn't I wouldn't wear either.
- 1:42:21Speaker 6: I do really like their their all Gold City Edition
- 1:42:24Speaker 6: one too. I've thought about buying one of those, but
- 1:42:27Speaker 6: thought better. The one one of the better purchases that
- 1:42:30Speaker 6: I've ever made, though, was when they traded Paul Pierce
- 1:42:32Speaker 6: and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn. They all their jerseys went
- 1:42:36Speaker 6: on sale on the pro Shop, and I bought KG
- 1:42:39Speaker 6: and Paul Pierce Celtics jersey at the time for like
- 1:42:43Speaker 6: fifty percent off. And I still have them and they
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: still fit and it's great. I was like, that was
- 1:42:48Speaker 6: That's what I would recommend, especially if guys like that
- 1:42:51Speaker 6: my childhood. Yeah, guys like that that Jacoby Ellsbury shirt.
- 1:42:57Speaker 7: I have a couple of those that I think I
- 1:42:59Speaker 7: have an very suresy.
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: I have a couple of those that I can no
- 1:43:03Speaker 6: longer wear the shirt.
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: Right, Yeah he went to the Yankees. Yeah, I don't know,
- 1:43:11Speaker 4: Barton Poland.
- 1:43:12Speaker 5: I went to see two movies in the cinema last
- 1:43:14Speaker 5: week on Monday. I saw the New Scary Movie and
- 1:43:18Speaker 5: it was all right.
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: Obsession is Anna Faris still in it.
- 1:43:23Speaker 7: The actually scary movie.
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: Scary We three was kind of definitely better than the
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: fifth one, but worse than the first four.
- 1:43:30Speaker 5: It was good to see the original crew. I also
- 1:43:32Speaker 5: saw Obsession. I absolutely hated it. It made me so uncomfortable,
- 1:43:37Speaker 5: which means that the movie was good and it did
- 1:43:39Speaker 5: its job. One of the most unsettling movies I've watched.
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: Kudos to everyone involved in it, as they had a
- 1:43:45Speaker 5: really small budget.
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: I've heard a lot of good things about that, Really Obsession,
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: that's not no. I can't watch those movies. I'm too
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: a scared.
- 1:43:53Speaker 5: So one of the most upsetting movies I've seen was
- 1:43:57Speaker 5: Since City.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: Oh just why was it upsetting? Why was it upsetting? Yeah?
- 1:44:03Speaker 5: Oh, just some of like like when he who was it?
- 1:44:08Speaker 5: He gets eaten his legs eaten by the dogs while
- 1:44:13Speaker 5: he's just sitting there his legs are being eaten, or
- 1:44:16Speaker 5: you know, he walks in the room and with the
- 1:44:19Speaker 5: head and the other guy gets his penis ripped off,
- 1:44:23Speaker 5: and you know that was like a comic book. It
- 1:44:26Speaker 5: was like a comedy, but it was very very graphic graphic.
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: Yes, I'll give you that, and unsettling, don't you think so?
- 1:44:32Speaker 6: Why do you guys do that to the dogs people's legs?
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: Don't you think there was unsettling scenes in it?
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: Yeah, but it wasn't like unsettling like where it felt
- 1:44:43Speaker 9: real unsettling. Yeah, it was unsettling, like oh yeah.
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: That's graphic.
- 1:44:46Speaker 9: But I feel like how they presented it made it
- 1:44:49Speaker 9: a little bit more digestible. It was a comic book, yeah.
- 1:44:51Speaker 5: I guess, but I just remember watching it like, yeah, gruesome, yes, the.
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: Dogs, let's see, uh, Jadarius writes in Happy Thursday. Would
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: you guys consider ce Sue as a decent war film.
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: It's a finish action war film about a lone gold
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: prospector in World War Two who takes on a Nazi
- 1:45:17Speaker 2: platoon that tries to steal his gold.
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: I saw a clip of that on my timeline, but
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: I've never seen the movie. It's completely fictional, obviously, but
- 1:45:26Speaker 5: packed with lots of gruesome action.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: I did see. I heard about Ce Sue.
- 1:45:31Speaker 9: This looks good, and it does.
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: Look It does look good. It does look good. I
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: must say this looks good, but I haven't seen it.
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: Alex is gonna watch it, like I just saw the
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: scene where he has like the showdown.
- 1:45:43Speaker 7: Breakdown of it by Tuesday.
- 1:45:45Speaker 5: Yeah, Ellen, Wisconsin. Gravity was probably one of the best
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: movie experiences I've ever had. Saw it in three D imax,
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: and I don't know if I've ever been more tense
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: and stressed in a movie. Also, I would second Widow's
- 1:45:59Speaker 5: Bay that show uncut Gems.
- 1:46:02Speaker 8: That's another I never need to see that again, but
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: it was really good and stressful.
- 1:46:06Speaker 6: That's fair.
- 1:46:09Speaker 5: Football football question from Shikari from New Hampshire. I was
- 1:46:13Speaker 5: wondering what your guys take on bringing Matt jude On
- 1:46:16Speaker 5: and van neut.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Back no interest agreed for me time to move on.
- 1:46:21Speaker 7: Sure they would love that, though I'd.
- 1:46:24Speaker 5: Love speaking rights in for war movies Hamburger Hill and
- 1:46:32Speaker 5: Good Morning Vietnam.
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: I didn't love Good Morning Vietnam neither.
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: No, it's kind of boring.
- 1:46:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought so too. Yeah, Hamburger Hill, that's with
- 1:46:41Speaker 5: Michael J. Fox, right, he was the main character. I
- 1:46:45Speaker 5: thinkberg Hill was right. I didn't see it. I remember
- 1:46:48Speaker 5: when it came out, but that was.
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: Kind of like Michael J. Fox in a war movie.
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know Doug, so I think
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: that's why I didn't. I didn't see the movie. That's why.
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: Sean writes in guys who wear jerseys are losers.
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: So I don't think. I don't think you're if you wear.
- 1:47:11Speaker 9: It's a very aggressive take.
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: So many guys wearing them these days tells you the
- 1:47:15Speaker 5: state of things in the world.
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: You're a grown ass man. Grow up.
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: Oh okay, it's not for me. I don't think you're
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: a loser if you do it. It's just not what
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: I want to do.
- 1:47:25Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, seems a little strong.
- 1:47:28Speaker 5: Dan and Virginia and Michigan sci fi suggestions. If you're
- 1:47:31Speaker 5: into sci fi, have you checked out the series?
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: The expanse none of us.
- 1:47:37Speaker 5: It has little something for everyone, some real science, some
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: real action with both ship versus ship in personal personnel combat,
- 1:47:45Speaker 5: some political thrills, compelling characters, some sex, and a little
- 1:47:50Speaker 5: mystery thrown in and entertaining balance of grounded science and
- 1:47:54Speaker 5: dynamic action. On the topic of sci fi series, to
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: the dad who e mailed in a couple of weeks
- 1:47:59Speaker 5: ago about where to start his daughter with Star Wars,
- 1:48:02Speaker 5: the series, Clone Wars and especially Rebels are terrific. The
- 1:48:06Speaker 5: animation might look a little kiddish, but the storytelling is
- 1:48:10Speaker 5: top notch. They might be the best Star Wars that
- 1:48:12Speaker 5: Disney ever did they really cemented my son's fandom. The
- 1:48:16Speaker 5: strong female characters and rebels should be a good connecting
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: point for his daughter. Also, Andrew was completely wrong off
- 1:48:22Speaker 5: season PU with some of the best.
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: PU No Michael J. Fox and Hamburger Hill by the way, No, No,
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: Don cheatle Don James, Michael J.
- 1:48:31Speaker 5: Fox, and he was in one of those. He was
- 1:48:34Speaker 5: in a Vietnam movie Michael J.
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: I think he was, but I don't know.
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: Okay, not Hamburger Hill.
- 1:48:39Speaker 6: I've not seen any of the animated ones, but maybe
- 1:48:42Speaker 6: if it's better than any of the Disney things, that's.
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: A low bar of war.
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: Casualties of war, casualties of war, great war movie, Kate says,
- 1:48:51Speaker 5: and I agree, although it's old.
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: The Great Escape, Oh with Steve McQueen. Steve McQueen's a legend,
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: just great, great, great movie.
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: You know how many times he says, I wasn't even
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: born when you saw that.
- 1:49:06Speaker 6: They're dead, my dad. That's all dad stuff though, like that.
- 1:49:09Speaker 6: That's why I've seen dustin jacket.
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:49:12Speaker 5: To the guy who said you're a loser if you
- 1:49:14Speaker 5: wear a jersey, it sounds like you can't afford to
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: pick up the hobby man.
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: I love email on email.
- 1:49:19Speaker 3: Crime they're quickly then today they are to pick up
- 1:49:23Speaker 3: thet they are email.
- 1:49:26Speaker 7: Was like two seconds ago.
- 1:49:27Speaker 6: The jerseys are are like a good one in like
- 1:49:31Speaker 6: the pro shop now is probably almost probably two bills bills. Yeah,
- 1:49:35Speaker 6: it's they're expensive, especially if you want like one of
- 1:49:38Speaker 6: the Likely City editions or like one what you know.
- 1:49:43Speaker 6: They said that they were gonna when they were in
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: the finals in twenty four they said that they you
- 1:49:48Speaker 6: could brought your jersey and they'd sew the finals patch
- 1:49:51Speaker 6: into your jersey. Yeah, they wanted like seventy five dollars
- 1:49:54Speaker 6: to do that.
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: Can you just give me the pack?
- 1:49:57Speaker 6: I was like, no, thank you so good.
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: So myself I would have done it.
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: Seventy five dollars.
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I thought they were doing it.
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: I made a lightsaber for two hundred and seventy five
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: dollars a Disney World.
- 1:50:07Speaker 6: Well your pace goes a little different than mine.
- 1:50:09Speaker 5: No, but it's a big ticket about I want to like,
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: this is a once in a lifetime thing.
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: I want to do it.
- 1:50:15Speaker 7: Well this wasn't Yeah, but like a watch.
- 1:50:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not.
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: Going to be able to ever again at the time.
- 1:50:21Speaker 4: They didn't think it was once in a lifetime thing.
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: It just turned out that way.
- 1:50:24Speaker 20: Stop it stop it left justin justin for war movies,
- 1:50:32Speaker 20: Flags of a Father's and Letters from Iwo Jima.
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: I heard that.
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: Good things about both.
- 1:50:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, let's see Christian from la Uh. The Man
- 1:50:45Speaker 5: in the High Castle for War in Novel to Screen
- 1:50:48Speaker 5: and Baskets was subtle and amazing.
- 1:50:51Speaker 6: Man in the High Castle I watched like the first
- 1:50:54Speaker 6: season or so of which is really really good. I
- 1:50:59Speaker 6: didn't want I didn't stick with it though for some reason,
- 1:51:02Speaker 6: probably because it freaked me out, to be honest, But
- 1:51:05Speaker 6: it's about if the Nazis won, so like, yeah, the
- 1:51:09Speaker 6: Nazis are now in control of these They're in control
- 1:51:13Speaker 6: of America even like the whole Like Hitler won, so
- 1:51:18Speaker 6: he took over the whole world. That's basically the basis
- 1:51:21Speaker 6: of the of the show.
- 1:51:23Speaker 5: Yeah, Kyle, which training camp battles are you looking forward
- 1:51:28Speaker 5: to watching?
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: Mine is pivot, Mine is a J. Brown versus Christian Gonzales.
- 1:51:33Speaker 6: It's a good one. I would say. The tackles you
- 1:51:37Speaker 6: know against like guys like Akis and you know some
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: of those young on young matchups. Yeah, I'm looking forward
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: to seeing those.
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: And yeah, I thought he made positional stuff.
- 1:51:47Speaker 7: I say, like the battle between like the receiver.
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: Ro three times that you actually get to see them
- 1:51:51Speaker 3: playing hard against each other, no big whoop. Now, joint
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: practices will be interesting to watch, yea that for those
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: those kinds of battles A J. Brown you know, maybe
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: we'll see Sauce Gardner, you know when they do Indie
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: Oh uh, you know.
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: But Mitchell battles within positions, so like when we yeah,
- 1:52:11Speaker 5: that's what I thought about training camp battles would be
- 1:52:15Speaker 5: positional battles chart so we.
- 1:52:17Speaker 6: Do now still yeah, yeah, more that type of stuff.
- 1:52:20Speaker 6: But I hear what he's saying too, like.
- 1:52:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's a different different battles when they go
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: good on good.
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's been browning Gonzales. I mean that's probably
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: as good on good as you can get.
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: I will say though, and this is not a knock
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: or anything, but Christian Gonzalez not a practice player.
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: That's kind of what I'm not not by the three
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: times you actually get to see them engaged going against
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: each other.
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I think sometimes I think it's a combination. I
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: think he's sometimes is trying some new things to see
- 1:52:47Speaker 6: if it will work type of thing. And also, I.
- 1:52:50Speaker 5: But you do notice, like I noted, at least I
- 1:52:53Speaker 5: did right from the get go, like he looked different
- 1:52:55Speaker 5: in practice.
- 1:52:56Speaker 6: He moves different his right, But I remember practices over
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: the years where like Taekwon Thornton was beating them at times,
- 1:53:04Speaker 6: you know, and you get into a regular season game
- 1:53:06Speaker 6: that's never happening, but in the practice it would.
- 1:53:09Speaker 5: Kyle also says, what is your go to Fourth of
- 1:53:12Speaker 5: July food or meal minus cheeseburger, hot dog, watermelon?
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: Corn on the cob with a sun cruiser.
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: Just making a middle of light and we're there. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: sun cruisers are good.
- 1:53:24Speaker 3: I just think that they're too sweet, Like they taste
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: too good to me and I end up getting looped, right.
- 1:53:28Speaker 7: Okay, Dad, I mean that's the point.
- 1:53:30Speaker 6: It's that they don't like water.
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: I don't I don't want them if I Yeah.
- 1:53:35Speaker 7: Sun cruisers on the boat all day on the floor.
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: They just taste too good, all of that stuff.
- 1:53:39Speaker 6: That's that's the point. We finally don't want to get drunk.
- 1:53:43Speaker 6: We finally discovered that we don't have to drink things
- 1:53:45Speaker 6: that don't taste.
- 1:53:46Speaker 8: My dad the summer, my dad discovered like high noon
- 1:53:50Speaker 8: and like the spikes helters was the best. Like last
- 1:53:53Speaker 8: year he had to go lay down like in the
- 1:53:55Speaker 8: middle of grill and I don't.
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: Want to do that.
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: Nothing better.
- 1:53:57Speaker 3: That's a perfect thank you. We are illustrating my point.
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: I don't want to get drunk. I just want to
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: be happy. Fourth of July.
- 1:54:09Speaker 7: A couple of.
- 1:54:13Speaker 4: Paul Yeah, we saw that at the super Bowl quite
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: a bit. For the whole week.
- 1:54:17Speaker 6: It was great.
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: Caakr and Jacksonville talking about how we americanize things and
- 1:54:23Speaker 5: how other people, you know, use the European stuff said,
- 1:54:28Speaker 5: the Americans did not invent the term soccer.
- 1:54:31Speaker 6: We didn't.
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: It was actually the English that started it when they
- 1:54:34Speaker 5: introduced it to the America. America's they were calling the
- 1:54:37Speaker 5: sport asc asoc ask, then became soccer because they like
- 1:54:42Speaker 5: to add the error at the end of everything. For
- 1:54:45Speaker 5: some reason, they ended up switching back to football and
- 1:54:47Speaker 5: we got stuck with soccer.
- 1:54:49Speaker 6: So I think it has to do with they used
- 1:54:51Speaker 6: to call association football.
- 1:54:54Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:54:54Speaker 5: So the word soccer originated in the late nineteenth century
- 1:54:57Speaker 5: England as university slang.
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: It is short derivi derivation.
- 1:55:02Speaker 5: Of association football, created to distinguish it from the completely
- 1:55:06Speaker 5: separate rugby football rugby.
- 1:55:09Speaker 6: Yeah, so that association somehow over time got shortened to
- 1:55:14Speaker 6: soccer and that's why we're they Also, I believe they
- 1:55:17Speaker 6: call it soccer. Maybe it might be Australia. In some
- 1:55:21Speaker 6: other English speaking places they do call it soccer.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: I think we should make a worldwide movement, at least
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: in the English speaking countries to call soccer soccer not football.
- 1:55:32Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I don't know about all Australia. I know
- 1:55:36Speaker 6: I believe called it soccer and not football, but in
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: Britain and England it's football, right, But I think there
- 1:55:46Speaker 6: are some other English speaking places that call it soccer.
- 1:55:48Speaker 4: You like those fruity drinks, huh?
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: I likesans are my I drinkans most of the time
- 1:55:55Speaker 6: other than wine, those two.
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: Any particular flavor.
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: Yeah, lately it's been the line ones.
- 1:56:01Speaker 7: Okay, but over your beer, over that. But I yeah,
- 1:56:06Speaker 7: it's so bloated and warm beer.
- 1:56:09Speaker 3: But that's another reason. That's another way that you don't
- 1:56:11Speaker 3: get bleep faced. After a while, you get a little
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: because usually if I'm.
- 1:56:16Speaker 7: Drinking, stop when I feel like I'm getting messy.
- 1:56:21Speaker 4: Okay, I think some people might have a different opinion.
- 1:56:25Speaker 6: So when that is of.
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: Self conscious from veil listeners, she was like, well, I'd
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: like to see it.
- 1:56:33Speaker 13: Was.
- 1:56:34Speaker 7: Paul heard all about messy Alex and Charleston to.
- 1:56:38Speaker 4: Bachelorette party.
- 1:56:40Speaker 8: The bride dislocated her elbow and we had to get
- 1:56:45Speaker 8: her in i V the next day and we were
- 1:56:46Speaker 8: paid a visit by the Charleston Fire Department at for it.
- 1:56:49Speaker 7: Oh my god, wow, effort to save that for another
- 1:56:53Speaker 7: We locked.
- 1:56:54Speaker 2: That's the whole story.
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: It was like Tuesday and she was still nurse and
- 1:56:57Speaker 3: a headache. I liked like he and Paul's like, I was,
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: what the hell happened to you?
- 1:57:04Speaker 4: How do I?
- 1:57:05Speaker 7: How do I explain this?
- 1:57:06Speaker 8: I feel like the description of the bride dislocated her elbow,
- 1:57:09Speaker 8: We had to get her an IV and the fire
- 1:57:12Speaker 8: department came out.
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: The bride was like an ex chield.
- 1:57:15Speaker 2: Is there a tiger in your when you woke up
- 1:57:18Speaker 2: to hangover?
- 1:57:20Speaker 7: Bachelorette version?
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: We had that once. We had to call the police
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: to because my friend closed the slider. We were out
- 1:57:26Speaker 6: on a balcony and he closed the slider and it lock.
- 1:57:29Speaker 7: And locked you guys out.
- 1:57:30Speaker 4: We were literally standing on the balcony of this this house.
- 1:57:33Speaker 7: How many stories?
- 1:57:36Speaker 6: Uh like two or three?
- 1:57:38Speaker 7: Say one story?
- 1:57:39Speaker 10: Just jump?
- 1:57:39Speaker 6: No, it was like we we thought about it, especially
- 1:57:43Speaker 6: high the night. We obviously thought about it.
- 1:57:45Speaker 8: We didn't call the fire department. We didn't call the
- 1:57:48Speaker 8: fire department. Were drinking, went off on the house. But
- 1:57:52Speaker 8: it was yeah, we were out there and he shut
- 1:57:57Speaker 8: the door behind us and all out.
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: There and Jason Tatum shirt with just as underwear.
- 1:58:01Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, it is gonna happen.
- 1:58:05Speaker 7: It's like Patriots all right.
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: Next week GLD Cup week. Right, We've got World Cup
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: game on next Tuesday.

- 1:58:19Speaker 5: I won't be I'm out next week. You're out next

- 1:58:26Speaker 4: It's just me and you. F no duce either, No Duce,

- 1:58:42Speaker 7: This is a show for you.
