- 3:23that will feature a variety of reasonings, conversations, correction conversations that allow us
- 3:32to really uphold culture, healing, art, technology and spirituality for life.
- 3:40Inspiration, reedom and edification. Notice I didn't say education edification for those persons
- 3:49that may not be as familiar. I am Queen Mother, Doctor, Chencerah,
- 3:53Pajila, Adeaki, a few other names that come with that. I
- 3:59currently serve and many capacities, and tonight I am really pleased and honored to
- 4:04be welcome as part of the crew. The crew, and this is a
- 4:12whole new seta divas cistern that really desire to bring truth to power, to
- 4:16really bring vibrational shifts, really engaging opportunities for us to share how to live
- 4:26well, how to hear, how to empower one another, how to show
- 4:30love, sustain and maintain integrity, loyalty, power and sovereignty at the same
- 4:41time. And I'm really excited because this is the launch of our broadcast,
- 4:46made possible through various networks including Post Speaks. I have the support of the
- 4:53African Queen Mother Warriors, an international organization who's the AQ. Just so persons
- 5:01get into that vibration. We speak of our sisters as queens. We speak
- 5:06of them not in the manner of a feudal vibration, but we speak of
- 5:12our sisters as queens that keep them elevated to keep them involved in things that
- 5:16are virtuous and a bright and positive and blessed and spiritual. And then okay,
- 5:21I got excited, so I was just hold the whole space. I
- 5:27am also elated beyond measure that tonight as we opened up with the peace me
- 5:33being people. And you'll hear that again, that's Brother Spunky with one of
- 5:39our illustrious queens, Reverend to Ivy should die of Hilton. If you're not
- 5:46familiar with the set words sounds, you might want to just google her name
- 5:50because she always brings that energy, that vibration, that healing and all of
- 5:57the things. So, just as a short description for those persons that are
- 6:01joining us for this podcast here on on speechs building a new legacy, What
- 6:09does that mean? What does that vibrate? So, yes it's interdisciplinary and
- 6:15yes it's transcultural. But the intention is for us to be able to use
- 6:18this media podcast environment so that we can share in oversations. What am I
- 6:24saying here, Life centered conversations for those that aren't accustomed to us using self
- 6:30determination and our language skills, Life centered discussions, life centered perspectives, life
- 6:41centered actionable deliverables. Things that we can really speak into areas that allow for
- 6:46us to share our perspectives. Some that are very insular or just inside of
- 6:51our soul self, some that are connected to our families, some that are
- 6:56connected to our communities, some that are connected to the wider village. Some
- 7:00that's connected to all the society and humanity as a whole. Because our shared
- 7:03humanity allows us to maximize how we build, maintain, and strengthen new legacy.
- 7:15We're going to also have an opportunity this evening to have a one of
- 7:20our illustrious guests I'm really honored and privileged to have with me this evening,
- 7:28and I refer to him as son, a powerfully royal son, none other
- 7:33than our ambassador and Reverend Brother Kamal. How are you feeling this evening.
- 7:42I'm feeling fabulous. I'm super being in the same room with my not just
- 7:46queen mother. I have many queen mothers, but I only have one supreme
- 7:53Greeen Mother. So to be a part of the launch of season two of
- 8:00this podcast with you Live and Alive in support of the crew, it's absolutely
- 8:07for me, you know, quite a lovely way to spend my Thursday evening.
- 8:11And I'm just really looking forward to bringing the heat, in this case,
- 8:18bringing the heat true love and light and logic. I love the tone
- 8:22that you've set, I love the mood that you've set, and I'm one
- 8:26thousand percent ready. So in a nutshell, I'm doing swell. I'm vibrating
- 8:33in the act energy myself. So go ahead, green mother. Yes,
- 8:37thanks. Well, that's the whole idea when we're bringing these types of versations
- 8:41together, so that we can have guests that also bring their skills, their
- 8:43talents, their expertise, and of course their spirit. The whole idea is
- 8:48so that when we're speaking that we're doing as much as we can to contribute
- 8:52antribute to building legacy. What is the legacy that's of interest to you?
- 8:58What are the things that you you see as permanent, ever changing in some
- 9:03contexts, but permanent in terms of how do you sustain and strengthen the pillars
- 9:11that keep your family, your community, your society, and of course our
- 9:18shared humanity together. And part of that has a lot to do with purpose.
- 9:22So when we start to talk about these things, we're also speaking about
- 9:26how to bring exemplary forms of how we engage in just our relations with one
- 9:35another showing respect and reverence to one another. And then of course looking at
- 9:39what's happening in the earth. You know what types of environmental issues affect you.
- 9:45What are some of the intergenerational things that you're seeing between elders, those
- 9:50that are not quite elders, those that are millennials, those that are generation
- 9:54X. What are the things that you see in that regard? And then
- 9:58also how do you bring this to the next level. How are you feeling
- 10:01really? What are the things that feed your mind deal and how do you
- 10:07strengthen some of that. So when we speak of purpose, we're always speaking
- 10:11of being able to have a purpose, being able to express that purpose,
- 10:16being able to strengthen that purpose. So we're gonna take a minute. It's
- 10:20kind of listening, just kind of listening, to take it up a little
- 10:26bit and try to kind of little energy. Keep alad. Yes, I
- 10:43want all you do. Just make sure that show box shoe. Have a
- 11:05promise in this hairline sound common a straight, live a preposition every day,
- 11:13So take and live joy. I have a province in all you do.
- 11:20Just make show your life is true. Every time we walk on the streets,
- 11:41we see all the children crying. Every time we see out there,
- 11:48it seems like people are lying everywhere that we see. All this chirs is
- 11:56supposed to be about the bird, all them than now we have a world
- 12:05of confusion. I have a purpose and all you do just make show that
- 12:18you live a life song. But let's try live a purpose everything. Just
- 12:30make show you this in John Away a purpose and all you do so your
- 12:37life like it's true, we have to live the life of my We can
- 12:54have ress a prophetly we have to live the life like intelligendust. If you
- 13:05have a purpose along a way that all the time to do so, you
- 13:26know, you just have to change of the energy like when we talk about
- 13:41purpose. Since we get ready to go into a versation about how we really
- 13:46bring things into this uplifting vibration. Greetings sister Queen should Net. I'm seeing
- 13:52these names pop up. I'm like, let's make it roll. This is
- 13:54gonna be a very engaging versation because the idea is how do you heal?
- 13:58How do you shift things? I'm sure the voice sounded a little familiar.
- 14:03Short promise, short thing. Some of us like to sing. We like
- 14:09this thing doing poetic verse. We may not do all the wild world of
- 14:13girls stuff. But we take Diva to another level, you know, we
- 14:16take Diva emperor style, queen style, a little bit of pizazz. But
- 14:20we're very excited to be able to talk about what is the purpose, what
- 14:24are some of the things. We know that February one marks the opening of
- 14:30African Black History Month. We know that in twenty twenty four, the whole
- 14:33theme that's identified in the nation is surrounding African Americans and the arts. So
- 14:39it gives us a very wide breadth of things that we can speak of when
- 14:43we speak of the arts, the creative arts, the visual arts, the
- 14:46performing arts, whether it's dance, theater, music, painting, sculpting,
- 14:54a variety of areas and arts, and of course the digit arts, you
- 14:58know, in terms of the digital visual art, the graphic arts, and
- 15:01the post of other things, the culinary arts. We get a chance to
- 15:03speak up in a variety of different places. So this gives us that opportunity
- 15:07to show the connection between what's happening, for example, in our Caribbean Americas
- 15:13as well as in the forty eight contiguous US. Of course, we don't
- 15:16want to leave about our brothers and sisters in Canada and in speaking of the
- 15:20Caribbean Americas, we're speaking of that whole belt from the Southern States and forty
- 15:24eight contiguous US, because that's all part coming into that Caribbean space, all
- 15:30the way throughout the Caribbean Isles, Central America, South America, and that's
- 15:35just what we're engaging and welcoming on this side of the Atlantic and then taking
- 15:39it to the other side and welcoming then another layer of that African Black history
- 15:43experience, which is history in the making, because in real life, you
- 15:48know, the African Black history is three hundred and sixty five days. However,
- 15:52we want to give our respect to the honorable doctor Cartergie Woodson. We're
- 15:58having that foresight bringing truth to power, bringing it up in that regard,
- 16:03so we want to at least highlight that. So with that being said,
- 16:06I'm always excited for your Royal excellency and Bastard or Reverend connect in addition to
- 16:15the work that you do around economics and the education they're in and sustainable development
- 16:23and just bringing all of these things so that we don't look at culture or
- 16:30the arts or even education as a separate sphere. You're able to always bring
- 16:36it back into a space of currency and and keeping it current. I like
- 16:44that with you, you keep it current while you still speak a currency.
- 16:48So I'd love for you to share with our viewing and listening audience a little
- 16:52bit about how does that navigate for you as we speak about building a new
- 16:59legacy. Oh, thank you so much for the opportunity. And you know
- 17:03I was bubbling to the reggae a while ago. Uh you know. You
- 17:08you when I when I think that I have the fullness of the Queen Mother,
- 17:14you drop something on me and I'm like, okay, all right,
- 17:15okay, layers, layers. It's all about the layers, all right.
- 17:19So let me tell a story. I think that puts things into a wonderful
- 17:26context. And by the way, good night of viewers, by way of
- 17:30YouTube, linked in Facebook, all of the plethora of platforms that you're joining
- 17:36us in live. We want to say as a Salam shalon malhem. We
- 17:44want to say the mast. We absolutely want to say Hotel bayete, bayete,
- 17:48dieo dio, welcome, aquabavakasha, come in rock and coming. I
- 17:55want to tell a story. I'm agreeo. I was always agree on but
- 18:00but when I was a child, there was a question that was often put
- 18:04to me because I had a number of skill sets, being born to a
- 18:08four degree black belt martial artists karatka who transferred into jijitsu, who then created
- 18:17his own as it were, fighting style ninjitsu as part of Camicus International,
- 18:23which was Camels African Martial Arts and Cultural Art school. So since Anna I
- 18:30was a liquorute, I was born and raised under the shadow of this.
- 18:37You know, they are fathers, and then there are superheroes. So here
- 18:42was born to this superhero. And then my mom, you know, though
- 18:48diminutive in status in terms of world stature, she was not diminutive in status.
- 18:53I'll say that again. My mom biological, while diminutive in statue,
- 19:00was not diminutive at all in terms of status. And so at the side
- 19:06of every great man you will always find an equally great woman. And so
- 19:11I had the fortune, I had the pleasure. I had the ancestrally ordained
- 19:17privilege of being born to what we call a zacha man, a real man,
- 19:22a rootsman, a second degree and second generation Garvat, born to a
- 19:33first degree and first generation garveied in my grandfather. So by the time I
- 19:38was born, I was born literally born into a household as a third generation
- 19:45GARVYI within a homeschool setting, very Afrocentric, very pan African. I couldn't
- 19:55say no to learning martial arts. It was either learn martial or died trying
- 20:02favorably for me, I lived to tell the story. Uh, you know,
- 20:06so thankfully, you know it worked out well. But it was not
- 20:10an option growing up in the camal household that that was just not an option.
- 20:15But again within that house, so we had drumming in that household.
- 20:21We had reggae in that household. We had conscious uplifting nation building, Kaiso
- 20:26calypso. In that household, we had reggae beats, Fella Kutie and all
- 20:33the greats. Long before afrobeats was a thing, we had afrobeats in the
- 20:38household. So growing up in that environment, it was the perfect storm.
- 20:44It was a kind of a purple read was a kind of a meleu,
- 20:48a kind of a beautiful admixture of so many elements of African culture, African
- 20:55cuisine all ital is vital. Grew up in a rasta far eye household,
- 21:00dreadlock carrying household, and so that created a beautiful environment, a fertile environment,
- 21:10a chemetic environment Kim the Black Lands and of the Black people, partly
- 21:17because of the fertility of the nile overflowing its banks, but more so because
- 21:22of the black rich menolin b one energy of the people that also inhabited the
- 21:27lands as well. So growing up for me, doctor ben Jocannon and doctor
- 21:33Henry Clack, and all of these heroes and even some heroes as well,
- 21:37you know a Mannorinus and and and Queen sheba Uh and all of these heroes,
- 21:45they were part and possible of of my what we'd call o boon to
- 21:51education. And so again the question was asked, well, what do you
- 21:55want to be when you grow up? When I was a child, and
- 21:57I couldn't answer, Queen Maud for the likes of me, I couldn't answer,
- 22:03not because I didn't have talents and gifts and many options. It's just
- 22:07that I couldn't choose one because the ancestors were vibrating something to me, because
- 22:14the Most High was giving me some gentle nodges and inspirations and inspirations along the
- 22:23way that I was not to be too tethered to anyone's science or anyone's spirituality,
- 22:32and so favorably. Because of such a rich and diverse menu, I
- 22:37was able to master a number of sciences, indigenous, traditional, conventional,
- 22:44and otherwise, so that I may be able in this incarnation to show up
- 22:49as an African reparations minister and diplomat, utilizing the ancient traditional Jahouti Act traditions
- 23:00together with Ubuntu Umuntu, Oungo, mun To wung Goo Bantu, together with
- 23:07that of all of the other ancient traditions together in one amazing comprehensive menu that
- 23:17allows for us to look at reparations not just as an island here, as
- 23:21an external thing that we need to take to France and Spain and Portugal and
- 23:26the Netherlands and Germany, and let's not forget Britain and all of the other
- 23:32genocidal, marauding colonial powers and now neo colonial powers that are still puppeteering and
- 23:41puppet mastering behind the scenes. I got the assignment from the ancestors to turn
- 23:48that reparatory struggle for justice and development in one that we may be able to
- 23:53deal with the kingman in the mirror, to deal with the queen sister in
- 23:59the mirror, and deal with the family the African family and all of the
- 24:04struggles and trials and the good and the bad and the ugly, and ask
- 24:10ourselves those fundamental questions in terms of who are we, where are we going,
- 24:15what are we required to do? And how are we going to get
- 24:19there? Using ancient, sacred, sovereign and sustainable models and so that is
- 24:26a big knot, but it's a nutshell in terms of how I came to
- 24:32be and how I landed here a shay oh. So for those persons that
- 24:38aren't at familiar, you can say give the young when person say can I
- 24:42get an amen? This is the time for us to bring in that energy,
- 24:45that kind of spirit, the kind of vibration, because what we're speaking
- 24:48of is how do you bring truth to power? How do you sustain with
- 24:52persons here the term or act just so that for the listening viewers that may
- 24:56not be as familiar, well, let's practice together truth justice, order,
- 25:03reciprocity, balance, divine righteousness, harmony. Or let us truth justice,
- 25:11order, reciprocity, balance, divine righteousness, harmony. And that's what we're
- 25:17speaking of when we speak of that ancestral principle of my eye, because it's
- 25:22something that is done, it is something that is lived. It is something
- 25:26that is perfected, not just practice. But you do each day, uncovered
- 25:33each day, and you will have days where you go into the opposite of
- 25:37my aunt and that's called inspect chaos, disorder, lack of balance, so
- 25:47you disharmony, lack of truth, the opposite. Yeah, and just to
- 25:53the persons that are on the same page and what we're bringing to the table.
- 25:57So with that being said, you know, and I like bringing things
- 26:00in and out because you have given a very wonderful, engaging conversation that allows
- 26:07for me to then go into this next piece that I would like to share
- 26:11because I like to use the arts. I like to use music, because
- 26:15sometimes the message comes across with more clarity, with more vision, with more
- 26:21directness. So I'd like for us to listen to this piece, Africa,
- 26:25we Love You, by the phenomenal Bayesian poet laureate Adrian Green. We understand
- 26:33how they pushed on and shopped you, oh, into the dimly lit corners
- 26:41of their history book. But being all the truth, how we've searched down
- 26:47lope to lift our minds off or Europe up some staying up. Understand how
- 26:53much strength and real power it too to get from on the their spells and
- 27:03propagan and know them one how we sprouted be that she his and we boo.
- 27:12We let them know we were our fun But we found our mother even
- 27:18be united with our lost sisters and brother. African start just brought their hands
- 27:23to her. Probably their sons and daughter got her across the water in this
- 27:33great disaster with the calm that was authored by the thirty Buttons, thinking how
- 27:41you want to say the world, but they tried to kill every last semblance
- 27:45of African spirit hand skin. But destiny has unfold. Prophecy must fulfilled emancipationism
- 27:52out in it's our sleeping and to get to the top of the is jadine.
- 28:02That's why from Cape Town to Cairo, bid us to Brazil, no
- 28:07matter where we were taken, we are africanstant and we will be yield those
- 28:15emotionless scars, and we will reclaim everything that ours and we will we take
- 28:25our place amongst the stars and we will redeem our ancest Africa. We love
- 28:37you, and today's must come. We seen ras sunshining, the storm clothes
- 28:45are moving from above you, and glorious things again will be spoken of you,
- 28:55like really love humanity, birthplace of civilization. Sha bring out some sanity
- 29:02to these crazy modern nations. Sankofa is the only way on top of this
- 29:07present situation looking backward, to go forward to our future destination. Our relation
- 29:11to our history must be more than information. Emancipation is a feeling. It's
- 29:17an overwhelming emotion, inspiring devotion and the commitment to undo the brainwashing and programming
- 29:27that they put us through Africa is but we must experience new Africans be persons
- 29:38and to their own culture, which lets our common experience keep us together like
- 29:51glue, with that ancient African science with empower mot who boom to excuse me
- 30:04if I get a little height, But I'm a part baras that they try
- 30:10to wipe out of all historical site. And now my stories come to light
- 30:18and all those prongs I want to write with songs of redemption and words to
- 30:23fight the oppression that got with grips are type. But this sounds it is
- 30:30not impression on you. The puppet is already said to you, Afrikaans unity.
- 30:41As we're moving right out, we are moving to our again. You're
- 30:52listening to us speaks building a new legacy and we like to use word,
- 30:59sound, power and strength from the artists that we know live in this particular
- 31:03frame. So when you hear me speak of chats for life, all I'm
- 31:07saying is culture, healing, arts, technology and spirituality for life, inspiration,
- 31:11freedom and edification. So we say chats for life to keep it tight,
- 31:15to keep it short, to keep it in the memory. We use
- 31:18mnemonics so that we can actually begin to strengthen those moments when we may feel
- 31:25a little bit off our throne. When you're a deva, an African empress,
- 31:30queen, mother diva, at that you have to sometimes be settled and
- 31:37get back on your centa and many of the things that are illustrious guests is
- 31:42for all. Excellency, Ambassador Reverend Kwami Kamal was sharing some of that in
- 31:48terms of his own journey. So each time we come together, the intention
- 31:52is so that we go on another layer, we uncover another part of that
- 31:56lotus pet another part of that, another part of that soul searching, another
- 32:01part of that body self, another part of that consciousness, another part of
- 32:06how do we heal in the midst of all of this chaos. And for
- 32:10some of us, when we speak appealing yes, we're talking about heritage,
- 32:15just we're copying about education. Yes, we're talking about arts. We're also
- 32:19talking about legacy. And in the context of what we bring together, we
- 32:24do our best to undo many of the damages done. So you'll hear people
- 32:30talking about preparatory justice. You'll hear people talk about reparations. And we're not
- 32:35talking about the begging version. And we're not talking about just the money.
- 32:38Money. Money's good, money's in board time, but it's currency. So
- 32:44we're speaking of the resourcefulness, the restoration of our humanity, the restoration of
- 32:49how we engage with one another, the restoration of respect the monks one another,
- 32:53the restoration of our current vibrations of peace, love, joy, tranquility,
- 33:00those types of energies what persons say I mean or amen or I'm in
- 33:06h we're invoking that vibrational energy that keeps us fully connected with infinite source.
- 33:12By all the names we choose to use and looking God, Jehovah, Yago,
- 33:20your body, Intada, and we can go on with the lists.
- 33:24The intention is so that we stay in that realm of harmony, in that
- 33:29realm of peace, and at the same time be able to handle what's going
- 33:35on in our environments on this space that we call Earth, this particular planet
- 33:39that we are currently charged to be responsible with and for. Right. So,
- 33:46with that being said, I'd love for you to speak on some other
- 33:50elements of how you see African Black History Month. What are some things you
- 33:54see that we can begin, of course, are what we call our public
- 34:00version of things around building legacy, because it's really there's so many things that
- 34:05have been taking place inside of the Caribbean community where those that aren't familiar with
- 34:09CARA con the Caribbean community, more than fifteen member states within the Caribbean and
- 34:16their heads of states have really engaged in a variety of uplifting economic development,
- 34:22social development, building blocks. Think of it as the United Nations of the
- 34:25Caribbean. Yeah, and then you have other layers of organizations in the region.
- 34:30You've got entities inclusive of the Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad and Tobago.
- 34:36Where you'd like to be around August first every year is for their Pan African
- 34:40Festival. Talk about building a new legacy, the richness of culture, the
- 34:47richness of edification, the richness of economic development. Have you ever been to
- 34:52a festival that actually in the middle of the festival has a conference on economic
- 34:54trade and commerce. That's the kind of fete in JUBAILI right, where we
- 35:00get to talk about those types. I forget that articularly, I was just
- 35:10if we're in a parade, what's been the next thing? I know?
- 35:13We're having like a serious, serious trow down all kinds of economists in the
- 35:17room, accountants in the room, persons that understand sustainable development and all types
- 35:22of things to make sure the persons know that when we speak of culture and
- 35:27heritage and the arts and our environments, we talk about building blocks of society,
- 35:32which means we have to deal with currency, which means we have to
- 35:35deal with the economy. No one is supposed to go into this consciousness.
- 35:38There's there's no property mindset here. It's a mindset of prosperity, a mindset
- 35:44of sustainability, of mindset of academic excellence. Oh okay, So I'm just
- 35:50giving some ideas, you know. And then we also link this to the
- 35:53Universal Liberal Improvement Association African Communities LEAP, particularly the Rebuilt Committee twenty twenty.
- 36:00So I'm very clear, very specific for those because there's different elements entities of
- 36:07the government established by the Honorable Marcus Masada Garbing for those persons that might overlook
- 36:14some of these names. Just we can do some Google. We'll drop some
- 36:17lengths in some of the areas so that persons can always come and gain,
- 36:22always come and gather. If you have questions, post them, If you
- 36:27have things that you have to share commentary on, so we can share that
- 36:30in some of our oversation. That helps us to do what building a new
- 36:37legacy. Notice how that's word, not just any legacy, but a new
- 36:43legacy, so that it brings those things that are positive ancestrally, those things
- 36:47that are positive in terms of our African experience, those things that are positive
- 36:52in terms of our body, mind, soul, spirit, consciousness. Hmmm,
- 36:59sounds like the elements air, fire, water. Absolutely, so please
- 37:06share with us, ambassador. Sure sure well. Firstly, in Trinidad and
- 37:12Tobago we get to celebrate African History month twice. We get to celebrate in
- 37:19February with the rest of the world because as the US goes so to the
- 37:24rest of the world by way of the media and by way of you know,
- 37:28the power of their media machine currently is second to none. And so
- 37:34when you have our beautiful African American brothers and sisters celebrating African History Month.
- 37:40We celebrate right along with them, so we fully enjoy full joy. Rasta
- 37:46Phire would say, the month of February and what that brings in terms of
- 37:51a focus on our history, our current affairs and even afrofuturism with a conscious
- 38:01righteous atticle yahuti bed And so we get to enjoy that. But later on
- 38:08in the year, in the month of November, that is when we interroid
- 38:13ad in Tobago celebrate our African history man. And so I tell my children
- 38:17all the time, and of course, as you know, I'm a second
- 38:21generation homeschooler, So greetings to Yashua and greetings to Enya Endeedy, our beautiful
- 38:30children who are really having a ball of a time learning all of this afrocentric
- 38:36scholarship. My daughter Bluewode maya Oa, because we practice African history three hundred
- 38:45and sixty five days a year and sixty six on the lead year. So
- 38:49she was throwing out Swahili at him that he couldn't answer. He didn't have
- 38:53an answer for it, you know. And on top of that, you
- 38:58know, she did her own version with kids Ujelagba, you know as well,
- 39:04made it her own and all of that. Right now, it's four
- 39:07hundred thousand views and climbing on Facebook. So she's a little ambassador in her
- 39:14own right, bringing again to the table that which I got from my ancestors,
- 39:21I am able to pass on to both herself and her brother, and
- 39:25they are really enjoying that. And the community is seeing the difference that an
- 39:31afrocentric approach makes in terms of the culture, in terms of the cuisine,
- 39:37in terms of the language, in terms of understanding your heroes and heroes,
- 39:44in terms of overstanding the continent and the various states within same and the capitals
- 39:52of those states. Those children can break it down for you. I'm so
- 39:57very proud of them, and so I know that represent you talk about legacy,
- 40:01you talk about future. They represent our future. And if it's one
- 40:06thing that my wife Nepher Tari Kandaki kamal Aka leasy shout out to the Empress
- 40:13and I really really put a lot of very worthy shout out, one of
- 40:21the things that we really put a lot of time and talent and treasure into
- 40:24is that legacy piece. Because we overstand that we are only as strong as
- 40:30our succession, planning, building and development, because if we do everything in
- 40:36this generation, but there's no continuity. The Jamaicans would show you every time
- 40:42they win a relay race is because they had a good baton pass. And
- 40:47so you can be fast, like I don't know what if you drop the
- 40:52baton between runners, it's over a slower athlete. A slower team would be
- 40:58able to come and and undo you. And so with respect that UBUNTU education
- 41:05is our specialty, it's our focus. And by way of a sister that
- 41:09I want to shout out on this evening, Queen Sister Kareem Joseph. She
- 41:15uses the nomenclature edification education to engagement, and so a lot of what we
- 41:22do is practical and pragmatic and is designed in such a way that we can
- 41:28learn from the ancestors. The good we replicate, but we also learn from
- 41:34their mistakes. One of the things that we've come to find out in our
- 41:37Sanko for journeys, you go back, you get it. And of course
- 41:40Rastafar would correct me because and I know go back at all, and I
- 41:45forowered ever backwever. So we go forward to our history and we get it
- 41:52that we may come forward into our present and then proceed forward into our future.
- 41:58And when we do that, we realize that there were many things that
- 42:00we did that were really on point, that were really aligned. But one
- 42:05of the things that I teach us myself included is that yes, Assa,
- 42:10who represented the perfect black, who represented as it were, order, who
- 42:16represented as it were, the embodiment of masculine ma attic energy in flesh.
- 42:25He is the one path, but there is another path, and it is
- 42:30the path of his brother set the ispect energy. And so both of them
- 42:36are African, and so our African ancestors. We take the credit for bringing
- 42:43arts and science to the world, spirituality to the world, but we also
- 42:47have to recognize that when we lost our balance, our harmony, our order,
- 42:54our divine righteousness, our reciprocity, our truth, and our justice.
- 43:00Yes we did devolve, Yes we did descend. Yes we did embrace chaos
- 43:07energies, and we made some mistakes. And so now with the benefit of
- 43:13hindsight, we can learn from both of the ancestors. Those that did well,
- 43:17we replicate and we build. But those that did not, we learn
- 43:22what not to do. And that is the secret to what I am advising
- 43:28our our contemporaries to engage to to definitely Sankofa and get that historical piece,
- 43:37add the piece that the ancestors sent you to correct and to improve, and
- 43:44know that that is not still going to be enough. I want to invocate
- 43:49in our head Eru, which is to say that you have to have the
- 43:53throne set. You have to have the environment and enabling for fostering environment set
- 44:01in order for the harou, the root with of our heroes to be born
- 44:07and to be raised and to be nurtured so that they can come into the
- 44:12fullness of whose they are and who they are. So for us, it's
- 44:15the ancient history in terms of comet, in terms of Sumer they call themselves
- 44:22the Sagi god, the black headed ones. We study elam Akad who call
- 44:27themselves a Salamat Kakadi again, the black headed ones. That's in so called
- 44:31Mesopotamia, so called Levant, that's African territory too. For our ancestors,
- 44:37there were no boundaries there. We bring that into the Moorish presence of course,
- 44:43with regards to Europe and the fact that from seventeen sorry Surrey sevent ten
- 44:50eighty to fourteen ninety two, we had centuries of rulership and governance and all
- 44:57the arts and sciences and cathedrals, universities that Europe. Both of that's Black
- 45:02legacy, that is Black science, that is Black spirituality, often perverted,
- 45:08often distorted, often devolved, but it's black. It's African, nonetheless,
- 45:14and we bring it into the Americas as well, because I have some tay
- 45:17you know, and some Calinago that float you iron eye. So I'm very
- 45:24yes, bring my ancestors come from uh A Kirakup in terms of that.
- 45:34So so so shout out to you know, the Karakup brethren and sistern who
- 45:39are still there, you know, are representing our indigenous American Aboriginal bloodlines.
- 45:46And I teach the children the African origins of yes, the Amerindians, uh
- 45:52that that bloodline is an African first bloodline. And then our cousins who would
- 45:59have Cushites went into what we would call China now in this valley now which
- 46:04was called East Ethiopia, so called India now that was East Ethiopia. All
- 46:09of that was part of the Cushitic Empire. So when they came to meet
- 46:13their cousins here from West Africa in the America's to island in the north Central
- 46:21America and of course South America. We teach our children that it was a
- 46:25family reunion, and for as long as it was a family reunion operating in
- 46:31the Mattic energy, it was fine, it was beautiful, it was peaceful.
- 46:37But then came some of our family through the European vine of the family
- 46:43tree, and they came with a different energy and energy of conquest, and
- 46:47energy of competition, and energy of wanting to take over and take charge.
- 46:52But we teach them that they did that because of a lower vibrational, lower
- 46:58energy and a lower frequency which we are to learn from but never ever ever
- 47:04emulate. And so I do honestly believe that our legacy would be in good
- 47:08hands if we remain true to all that we are doing now by way of
- 47:15keeping it real and speaking that truth to power wheresoever it is required, and
- 47:20tonight is a wonderful time and opportunity to do it. I'd land there from
- 47:24now. Well, we're grateful. You know. It's when you get right
- 47:29in the midst of the energy and it elevates, and it's passionate and it's
- 47:34emotive and my optical energy again truth, just stort, a reciprocity, balanced
- 47:38and righteous. It's a harmony. You'll get it after a while. It
- 47:42just comes off the town quick, quick, quick. You know, this
- 47:45has been a joy and a privilege. We're going to really move this into
- 47:47another space because this is a regular broadcast podcast here on Thursdays, the first
- 47:54and the third Thursday of every month. And I really have to give thanks
- 47:59and praise to all of the Queens, particularly Sister Queen Angela, for giving
- 48:05us this opportunity to be part of this launch. With the season two kickoff,
- 48:08I'm like in our tradition we would say duir andeur, we give thanks
- 48:14and praise. We're saying hotel peace, tranquility. Of course, my odd
- 48:19balance, the Ubuntu energy seems to be very high and strong. I want
- 48:22to thank those viewers, those listeners that have joined with us. We're going
- 48:27to do something a little special because I was originally supposed to start in March
- 48:30and do the first and the third Thursday. However, for the month of
- 48:34February, I'm going to have the honored privilege of doing tonight's launch and then
- 48:38next Thursday at the same time eight pm Eastern nine pm Atlantic to again have
- 48:47these versations share in some of the uplifting vibrations around building a new legacy.
- 48:57I want to thank those that have been able to join us. I want
- 49:00to thank you His Royal Excellency, Ambassador Reverend Kwame kamal a Sun that is
- 49:07like many others that are powerful, engaging and always respectful and very grateful the
- 49:15truth that you bring to the table. Because we know we could have done
- 49:17this for yet another hour and just keep teaching and keep teaching. So I
- 49:23give thanks, I give thanks and I give thanks. And as it's customary,
- 49:28just how we started, we would like to make sure that we bring
- 49:30that same vibration into our energies so the persons are really comfortable knowing that we're
- 49:38talking about that new energy, that new being, that new vibration, that
- 49:44uplifting energy. And remember always remember culture heals humanity. Land is our foundation
- 49:51and spiritual harmony unifies us. So you are part of building a new legacy.
- 49:58This has been your host, Queen Mother Doctor chan Zerah. We appreciate,
- 50:04appreciate, love, and welcome your reflections, your support and much more.
- 50:08And remember we're right here with the crew. This is the Crew podcast.
- 50:14So you got to you know when you speak of Queen a collaboration shining
- 50:16things like that. We want to send energy of love and life eternally.
- 50:22So we'll just keep it moving, enjoy the sounds, and remember stay with
- 50:27us and stay strong all the time. Again we say motet and peace.
- 50:45H Yes, it's just Pa.
