  This episode brings me such joy. It is so ridiculous and fun,

  it's hard to not smile the whole time when you watch it.

  I mean when we talk about the. The goods from season one.

  It's it's just great. There's it's messy.

  I think it's it's kind of like just one long comedic episode.

  Something happened in the writing room or in the filming

  studios where they're like, you know what, let's have some

  fucking fun with this one. Seriously, this sass is like,

  it's on like high gear in this compared to the other episodes.

  It's really funny. And like every character, yes,

  it's it's just one thing after another.

  otherwise I think it's all SASS. Yeah, and I love this episode

  because we get to see Dooku not being Dooku Y.

  It's fantastic. I love that their starships are

  flying saucers. Yes, we've never seen saucers in

  Star Wars before. I love that Hondo gets the

  flying saucer. He gets the alien stereotype.

  Pirates of the Caribbean look alike would come sauntering out

  He looks just like him. He's got the braids and the

  And everybody who's playing the Pirates, they have the the

  classic like pirate accent going on.

  It's it was It's just pure delight, honestly.

  It really is. And and I love when Anakin

  states the obvious, like towards the end of the episode that

  everyone's thinking like, how did this band of pirates capture

  Dooku when the Jedi, the Jedi Order and the Republic couldn't?

  You know, mostly because Dooku allows himself.

  I mean, he has no choice. The premise is he has no choice
• 4:43
  and he's like, all right, I'll just join you back to your your
• 4:46
  lair. You know, and I was thinking
• 4:48
  about this because it's so unrealistic, honestly, that
• 4:51
  Dooku would get captured by pirates and they're they
• 4:55
  surround him. And Hondo says you're
• 4:57
  outnumbered. It's like that is not a problem
• 5:00
  for Dooku. For a Sith, yeah.
• 5:02
  So there's some part of him having to, like, agree to it.
• 5:05
  That's how you get Dooku, or a Sith of any kind to, like, make
• 5:09
  a mistake. Exactly.

  He needed to bide his time till he could get a ship and leave.

  He seemed so embarrassed. Imagine.

  Like, do you think Sidious was real pissed?

  Yeah, it's all very convenient. I suppose it's maybe because

  Palpatine and Padme might be friends, because they're both

  from Naboo, but really, maybe it's just Palpatine keeping his

  enemies close. So he true.

  Anyway, nothing is as it seems. It's a stretch, but we do get

  The thought of space suits in Star Wars is weird to me.

  Every time I see one, I know it's very shocking because they

  they don't care. They show up wherever they take

  Like they did it in the Ahsoka show.

  And I just thought it was so weird.

  Whenever someone puts a space suit on in Star Wars, it's a

  the Ahsoka show and they're like, at first I thought maybe

  that was cool, and then the longer the scene went on, I was

  It fit her montrails, which was so weird.

  the point. We get Obi Wan in the space

  suit. He looks great.

  Well, it's like one of those. It's like a fishbowl, like a

  bubble head. And his hair is just perfect.

  I mean, space cannot touch the follicles on that man's head.

  And the snark starts pretty much from the 2nd Obi Wan opens the

  cell to Anakin's. The whole thing is Anakin is

  captured on purpose to try and capture Dooku to infiltrate.

  And then the the married couple begins.

  They're married. Couple arguments, Been together
• 9:45
  too long. Yep.

  And this? Is only season one.

  They've already had enough of each other.

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. It really it starts with Sass

  and doesn't stop the entire time.

  No. In fact, this episode has one of

  our favorite scenes of all time, and that's at the end of the

  episode, which we'll get to. But yes.

  Oh my gosh. I mean, I love that scene.

  It's fucking ridiculous. But, you know, they go through

  this whole thing and they're on Vancorp and that's how they all

  kind of meet up, right? Yeah, crashed and then Obi Wan

  Mannequin crash and it's a three-part act, like 3 acts in

  20 minutes and it's really a bit much.

  It's a lot. The gang's all here, literally.

  Like there's a gang of pirates, a Sith Lord, and a couple of

  Jedi who argue like married people.

  It's fantastic. I feel like it's kind of the the

  Jedi kind of are dumb in this episode.

  They're really playing into Dooku's hands the entire time.

  I don't think Dooku was really fooled at all by Anakin getting
• 10:55
  captured, and he seemed to be expecting Obi Wan anyway.

  And then Dooku captures. No, no.

  Then he traps them in The Cave. He lures them in traps.

  It's just like they are acting like they're so superior their
• 11:13
  whole time and they're really just getting owned by Dooku one
• 11:17
  minute after another. It's.

  Ridiculous. Obi Wan turns it into one big
• 11:21
  nonchalant lesson for Anakin in The Cave when the mother of all
• 11:25
  gun darks comes after him and he's just casually wiping off
• 11:29
  his light Saber. And you know Anakin can't find
• 11:32
  his cause. Dooku took it, but like the
• 11:34
  whole thing is, it's a lot of 1 liners.

  Snippy 1 liners back and forth to each other if they stopped.

  Doing that, they might have not been duped by Dooku so easily.

  Stop having your heads up your asses and pay attention.

  Like, listen, I'm here for the comedic element.

  But, like, the reason they're in this predicament is because they

  can't stop going at each other one sass at a time.

  up with them in the The Point Reign episode where she's like,

  kid. Her solution for the Gun Dark is

  to close The Cave wall instead of hurting the the creature.

  It's just so Ahsoka, I felt. Yes, and and really that goes

  back to her tales of the Jedi, how her first encounter with

  that beast, like she's going to connect maybe and save them.

  That's what I like about Ahsoka. She's she is a feeler and she is

  going to save or at least protect an animal or creature or

  whatever as the first resort. Maybe later she'll deal with it

  a different way, but yeah. But yeah, even she has a sassy

  line. Even she greets him with some

  Isn't Rex also there, giving him a side eye through the the

  helmet, quiet, watching the the shit unfold.

  Obi Wan give toasts and Obi Wan says to powerful pirates and new

  friends of the Republic. And if you watch it with

  headphones, you can hear a pirate in the background say,

  Which is probably why I can't ever hear any single episode
