• 0:00
Speaker 1: It's still welcome everybody.
• 0:19
Speaker 2: Welcome to this week's edition The snow Real Does Show,
• 0:22
Speaker 2: episode number seven seventy four from Summer twelve, twenty twenty four,
• 0:27
Speaker 2: which is your NXT deadline recap and review edition of
• 0:31
Speaker 2: half Art. You. I am one alf of the show.
• 0:36
Speaker 2: I am Jeff Peck joined every single week. Oh Mychael,
• 0:40
Speaker 2: it's the only doctor Trey Franklin, Doctor Trey. If there
• 0:44
Speaker 2: was a wrestler who was a free agent in the
• 0:46
Speaker 2: world of professional wrestling who would receive the Wan Soto deal, my.
• 0:50
Speaker 3: Friend ooh so young and talented, I mean, AW has
• 0:56
Speaker 3: two of those guys. I mean mjf Osprey. Let's see WW.
• 1:02
Speaker 3: I mean Seth's how old is Seth? Ron's in like
• 1:04
  Speaker 3: thirty six.
• 1:04
  Speaker 2: Seth's like a couple. I think he's like maybe a
• 1:07
Speaker 2: year older than me or younger. He's in that like
• 1:09
  Speaker 2: late thirties range.
• 1:12
Speaker 3: I mean, I guess the guys in their mid twenties
• 1:15
Speaker 3: in WW haven't really proven themselves yet on bigger stages
• 1:19
Speaker 3: to get that kind of deal, like the bron Breakers,
• 1:22
Speaker 3: the Carmelo Hayeses, the you know the reason NXT graduates
• 1:27
Speaker 3: the rest of the main roster. They're all in their
• 1:29
Speaker 3: mid to late thirties and forties, So I guess Ospray
• 1:33
Speaker 3: and MJF would be the top two people on my list.
• 1:35
Speaker 3: If I'm gonna pay him seven hundred and fifty million
• 1:38
Speaker 3: dollars over sixteen years, could you.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: Throw Cody in there, even though he's on the older side.
• 1:43
Speaker 2: Would you put Cody in that group?
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: No?
• 1:45
Speaker 3: Because if you're talking one Soto deal, that's fifteen years.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: Okay, let's take a step back. I'm thinking the money.
• 1:54
Speaker 2: Who would you invest that money into?
• 1:57
Speaker 3: Okay, if you're saying, am I going to spend a
• 1:59
Speaker 3: lot of money on somebody?
• 2:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to do an overpay on a professional
• 2:03
Speaker 2: wrestler as a free agent you are looking and turn
• 2:06
Speaker 2: around your professional wrestling organization. Who is that one person
• 2:10
Speaker 2: you give that overpay? Two?
• 2:12
Speaker 3: I mean, if I'm doing it off each major brand,
• 2:15
Speaker 3: it'd probably be Cody and MJF. Because I know, well,
• 2:18
Speaker 3: definitely Cody, because we know he can work babyface, he's
• 2:20
Speaker 3: been doing it. We all assume he could work heel
• 2:24
Speaker 3: and MJF would be the exact opposite and sense we
• 2:27
Speaker 3: all know he's a fantastic heel and we think he
• 2:30
Speaker 3: could be a good babyface. So you need that kind
• 2:33
Speaker 3: of ability to work both sides. He needs solid workers
• 2:37
Speaker 3: and great promo worker. I think those two are probably
• 2:40
Speaker 3: the top of my list when it comes to that.
• 2:42
Speaker 2: So I would pick Cody one. I would have mjf
• 2:46
Speaker 2: Osprey Swerve on that list as well. But the problem
• 2:51
Speaker 2: with those three hold I want to tell you. So
• 2:54
Speaker 2: the problem with those three, I would say, is based
• 2:57
Speaker 2: on like the last six months. I'm a little bit
• 2:59
Speaker 2: tripped padacious to give them amount amount of money because
• 3:03
Speaker 2: they haven't really pulled through since the summer months. And
• 3:06
Speaker 2: then you were going to ask me who's Seth?
• 3:08
Speaker 3: Would you put Seth above? Well, I can understand you
• 3:11
Speaker 3: know mjf ospregular too. My would you put Seth above
• 3:13
Speaker 3: Swerve or Swerve above Seth?
• 3:17
Speaker 2: I would put Swerve. Hmm, this is tough. I would
• 3:22
Speaker 2: put Osprey ahead of Seth. I would put Seth ahead
• 3:25
Speaker 2: of MJF because MGF is kind of falling off, and
• 3:28
Speaker 2: I think I'd put Seth ahead to Swerve.
• 3:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say yeah, because I think with like
• 3:34
Speaker 3: when you look at Swerve, he brings an entirely different
• 3:37
Speaker 3: demographic to the table than the other fours do the
• 3:40
  Speaker 3: other four do?
• 3:41
Speaker 2: How come we're not talking about Roman or seem Punk Uh.
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: Punk.
• 3:46
Speaker 3: I think it is just because if I gave him
• 3:47
Speaker 3: that money, I think you would get hurt within six months.
• 3:50
Speaker 2: Punk puts a lot of asses in seat, though, he.
• 3:53
Speaker 3: Does, and then he's gone for six months, and so
• 3:56
Speaker 3: you got to like have a way to kind of
• 3:58
Speaker 3: It's like like you guys, just like Yankee fan, you
• 4:01
Speaker 3: guys just signed Max f Reid, huge deal, really really great.
• 4:05
Speaker 3: Picture does get injured at least once a season?
• 4:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, but what picture doesn't? Nowadays? That's true pictures break.
• 4:17
Speaker 2: We're getting a little bit of baseball talk here. We're
• 4:19
Speaker 2: baseball fans. I know that doesn't relate to some of
• 4:23
Speaker 2: you wrestling fans out there, but it's like it's just
• 4:26
Speaker 2: an interesting exercise. I'm like, all right, if I had
• 4:29
Speaker 2: to do a huge overpay for a professional wrestler, who then,
• 4:34
Speaker 2: if I'm starting a promotion, who would it be? I
• 4:35
Speaker 2: would say, like Cody Roman, Seth. If I'm thinking upside picks,
• 4:41
Speaker 2: Osprey Swerve, MJF. If I'm thinking long term, I'm thinking
• 4:45
Speaker 2: Gunther bron Breaker. I don't think he's there yet, but
• 4:55
Speaker 2: I could see the upside. That's somebody that I'm in
• 4:58
Speaker 2: that's probably like like rookies Saki, like the International Pool money.
• 5:02
Speaker 2: You're not gonna spend a ton of money, but you're
• 5:04
Speaker 2: gonna get a steal on him, if that makes sense.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I was in my head.
• 5:10
Speaker 3: I was like, like Gunther and and Braun are guys
• 5:15
Speaker 3: that are on my roster in baseball and we just know,
• 5:18
Speaker 3: like they just need.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: Him at bats. Yeah, they're putting, they're gonna, they're gonna hit,
• 5:21
Speaker 1: They're gonna do it.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: It's like, who are the guys at like Double A
• 5:24
Speaker 3: and Triple A, Like who's on your Baseball America Top
• 5:27
Speaker 3: one hundred prospect lists.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: I actually think I would also put Damien and maybe
• 5:32
Speaker 2: Sammy and Jay in that list of like Gunther Braun
• 5:36
Speaker 2: as well, Like just some good fundamental high upside. If
• 5:41
Speaker 2: there's a single or double A person out there, Uh,
• 5:44
Speaker 2: this is gonna lead into NXC deadline. I'm gonna put
• 5:47
Speaker 2: a ton of money into Soul Rucas stock.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: See. I think that that's the funny thing.
• 5:52
Speaker 3: If you go back to the North American title match,
• 5:56
Speaker 3: the ladder match with you know the six way. I
• 5:58
Speaker 3: picked Salt because I was like, I see more potential
• 6:01
Speaker 3: in her than anybody else in this match.
• 6:04
Speaker 2: I will say Klannie Jordan is very uh. I think
• 6:08
Speaker 2: there's a lot of high upside there.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: She's gonna show me a dark side to her.
• 6:12
Speaker 3: She's it's a little bit like when Live and Alexa
• 6:16
Speaker 3: Bliss first debut in XT and they're kind of doing
• 6:19
Speaker 3: like the Happy Go Lucky.
• 6:22
Speaker 2: Or Rock sand Perez.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, just I'm just glad to be here type person.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: I kind of like Colonie is a good worker and
• 6:28
Speaker 3: she's she's good, she has decent promo skills, decent charisma.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: I just gotta see more depth to the character right now.
• 6:35
Speaker 3: But Saul is there's something about her that I'm like, yeah,
• 6:38
  Speaker 3: that's she's got it. It's there's something about her that
• 6:42
Speaker 3: screams hit factor. But but going back, I want to
• 6:46
Speaker 3: you said the ceiling like when you mentioned Damian Priest,
• 6:49
Speaker 3: she also mentioned Sammy and Jay. I don't know if
• 6:52
Speaker 3: Sammy has a much higher ceiling than he's at right now,
• 6:55
Speaker 3: which would make me kind of questioned, like investing a
• 6:58
Speaker 3: lot of money into that.
• 6:59
Speaker 2: But the flips, you're giving him a short term deal.
• 7:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, the flip side is aw they put all their
• 7:05
Speaker 3: prospects out all the time, Like there's like they don't
• 7:09
Speaker 3: have a farm system like NXC.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: You know, they don't have that go to show.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: And I'm like, man like, once you get past like
• 7:16
Speaker 3: the young guys like the Darby's and the Orange Cassidyes,
• 7:19
Speaker 3: and you know a few of those guys like where's
• 7:21
  Speaker 3: that bottom depth?
• 7:23
Speaker 1: Is it? Is it top flight? Is it? Action?
• 7:25
Speaker 3: ANDRETTI like, where's that lower level guys where you're like, Yeah,
• 7:30
Speaker 3: he's a blue chip guy that we just have to
• 7:33
Speaker 3: uh nurture and let him blossom eventually.
• 7:35
Speaker 2: There's a name I want to throw out here, but
• 7:37
Speaker 2: I want you to think about it for the show
• 7:40
Speaker 2: here because I'm going to bring it up in a
• 7:41
Speaker 2: little bit because i want your thoughts on future investments
• 7:45
Speaker 2: because he's had a really big four weeks in aw
• 7:48
Speaker 2: and that is one Kyle Fletcher, just hold that thought
• 7:52
Speaker 2: right now. Let's get into NXC Deadline and we'll pick
• 7:56
Speaker 2: up the Kyle Fletcher conversation here in a little bit.
• 7:58
Speaker 2: So NX deadl recap review this past Saturday from the
• 8:02
Speaker 2: Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before I get into the matches,
• 8:06
Speaker 2: to your doctor, Trey the venue a little bit different
• 8:10
Speaker 2: than from what we typically see from NXC. This actually
• 8:13
Speaker 2: is now starting to be kind of their calling card
• 8:16
Speaker 2: is these small little shops and some major towns. They
• 8:19
Speaker 2: did it in Saint Louis for the one of the
• 8:21
Speaker 2: c first shows in the CW, and they'll be doing
• 8:24
Speaker 2: it for NXC New Year's Evil in Los Angeles in
• 8:27
Speaker 2: a couple of weeks for the first show of twenty
• 8:29
Speaker 2: twenty five. What's your vibe right now when you watch
• 8:32
Speaker 2: it home and you see these venues that they're performing in.
• 8:37
Speaker 3: Anything's better than the Las Vegas one that they did
• 8:39
Speaker 3: the UFC Center, Like that was I still cringe going
• 8:42
Speaker 3: back and watching that one. It's different. I'm still trying
• 8:48
Speaker 3: to get a feel for it, if that makes sense.
• 8:50
Speaker 3: Like I'm watching it, I'm like, it doesn't seem too different,
• 8:54
Speaker 3: but it just feels it's kind of like when ECW
• 8:59
Speaker 3: left the Sad Ballroom and went in in the ECW
• 9:02
Speaker 3: Radio went to like some bigger spaces where you're like,
• 9:05
Speaker 3: it just doesn't kind of have the same energy as
• 9:09
Speaker 3: you know, the hometown shows, but for the sake of
• 9:12
Speaker 3: growth and also getting some of these people's names out there,
• 9:15
Speaker 3: it's I like what they're doing kind of piggybacking off
• 9:20
Speaker 3: you know, the the SmackDown shows or something that like
• 9:23
Speaker 3: you already kind of have a built in audience from
• 9:25
Speaker 3: the night before to kind of comes to this venue.
• 9:27
Speaker 3: So I like that strategy, and I think it just
• 9:31
Speaker 3: kind of depends on how hot the crowd is for
• 9:34
Speaker 3: us to get that really good, solid vibe. I felt
• 9:37
Speaker 3: like the crowd was okay, I just didn't think it
• 9:39
  Speaker 3: was great.
• 9:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, No, the crowd wasn't great. I thought the crowd
• 9:44
Speaker 2: was a little bit too far space. And when they
• 9:46
Speaker 2: would do the shots behind the commentators booth, it looked
• 9:49
Speaker 2: extremely deep, but it looked like the sides like they
• 9:51
Speaker 2: were performing literally in a bar, like you could see
• 9:55
Speaker 2: a concession stands and like a bar.
• 9:57
Speaker 3: It looked like it's like when you take a picture
• 10:00
Speaker 3: straight up and down and everybody goes, no, no, no, you
• 10:01
Speaker 3: should have earned your phone sideways. Yes, straight up and
• 10:04
Speaker 3: down shots where there's no there's no panoramicness to it,
• 10:08
Speaker 3: no peripherals, it's just a straight line shot. Basically. That's
• 10:12
Speaker 3: kind of how I felt too. And when they were
• 10:14
Speaker 3: showing the commentary desk.
• 10:15
Speaker 2: So let's get into it, first match here, the Men's
• 10:18
Speaker 2: Iron Survivor Challenge match to become a number one contender
• 10:21
Speaker 2: for the NXC Championship in the Years Evil. The winner
• 10:23
Speaker 2: of this match is Oba Femi, who was not in
• 10:27
Speaker 2: this match originally. He took the place of Eddie Thorpe.
• 10:31
Speaker 2: Oba defeated Wesley, Javion Evans, Nathan Fraser and Ethan Page.
• 10:35
Speaker 2: In this match, we had I had Wes Lee, Doctor
• 10:37
Speaker 2: Trey had Javion Evans, Jevon Evans. I sound like a
• 10:41
Speaker 2: broken record, but this match concept is one of my
• 10:43
Speaker 2: favorites in all of WI. Lots of different twists and
• 10:46
Speaker 2: turns that make this match really exciting and go by quick.
• 10:49
Speaker 2: It felt like once Oba entered the match that it
• 10:51
Speaker 2: was a four on one match, as all the competitors
• 10:53
Speaker 2: knew they couldn't get past Femi. Despite all that, they
• 10:56
Speaker 2: kept the match exciting and entertaining, especially the spot where
• 10:59
Speaker 2: Femmy and Ethan Paige we're in the penalty box. At
• 11:01
Speaker 2: the same time, the victory already begins at potentially huge
• 11:04
Speaker 2: twenty twenty five for Oba Femi in Wu Dutch Trey.
• 11:08
Speaker 2: We'll talk about the women's match here obviously towards the end.
• 11:11
Speaker 2: I love this match. I would love to see this
• 11:13
Speaker 2: be in the same level of it as a Heritage
• 11:15
Speaker 2: Cup match. Very fun, very exciting, very fast paced and
• 11:19
Speaker 2: a very quick twenty five minutes. Your thoughts as Oba
• 11:22
Speaker 2: family wins this one.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, I Other than the first I think the first
• 11:26
Speaker 3: couple of minutes were a little like Jvon Evans was
• 11:28
Speaker 3: a little bit off. I felt like he was I
• 11:30
Speaker 3: don't say nerves, but there was a couple spots where
• 11:32
Speaker 3: he was just kind of out of position on But
• 11:35
Speaker 3: once you know, it kind of got going and flowing.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: It was really good.
• 11:39
Speaker 3: I don't know if I liked the double choke slam
• 11:42
Speaker 3: spot at the end, just because I'm a whole school
• 11:43
Speaker 3: and I don't like double pins like that.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: That's weird to me.
• 11:47
Speaker 3: But Javon hitting his cutter at the end and trying
• 11:50
Speaker 3: to get the pin on Oba and just coming up
• 11:52
Speaker 3: a few seconds short was great. But I do I
• 11:55
Speaker 3: didn't think if you go back to last year, I
• 11:57
Speaker 3: didn't think of I was gonna like this match.
• 11:58
  Speaker 2: I don't.
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: I was like, there's a n box.
• 12:00
Speaker 3: Involved, there's these It almost felt like the Championship Scramble match.
• 12:05
Speaker 3: We had a SmackDown years and years ago. I'm like,
• 12:08
Speaker 3: there's pinfalls and then there's yet to go sit up by.
• 12:11
Speaker 3: I didn't know if I like, I really enjoy these matches,
• 12:14
Speaker 3: and I give a lot of the credit to the
• 12:16
Speaker 3: producers for the timing of this stuff, Like some of
• 12:20
Speaker 3: the timing spots are so well thought out. Who gets
• 12:24
Speaker 3: the pinfalls when they get the pinfalls? I mean this
• 12:27
Speaker 3: year's and last year's was fantastic. So I really really
• 12:32
  Speaker 3: enjoyed this match.
• 12:33
Speaker 2: Next match is Lolavice defeating Jada Parker in an NXC
• 12:36
Speaker 2: underground match. I had Lola Ice talked to Trey and
• 12:38
Speaker 2: Jada Parker. I thought this match received just the right
• 12:41
Speaker 2: amount of time in this one. There was also some
• 12:43
Speaker 2: good storytelling in this match. Is Jada Parker focused on
• 12:45
Speaker 2: Lola's hand throughout the contest and Lola had to play
• 12:48
Speaker 2: a little bit behind in this one before having a
• 12:50
Speaker 2: good comeback that helped seal the victory. These two are
• 12:53
Speaker 2: rising stars in the NXC Women's division. I hope they
• 12:55
Speaker 2: both have a big twenty twenty five dot. Trey thoughts
• 12:58
Speaker 2: this Lolavice wins the NX Underground match.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was okay.
• 13:03
Speaker 3: It reminded me a lot of the Basler Vice Underground
• 13:06
Speaker 3: match because SHANEA Kind did the same thing work in
• 13:08
Speaker 3: the hand, you know, Lola selling it. She can't you know,
• 13:11
Speaker 3: she may not be able to do the bat the
• 13:12
Speaker 3: spinning back fist. Jada impressed me because this is her
• 13:16
Speaker 3: first real big singles opportunity, uh since coming in NXC.
• 13:21
Speaker 3: I thought she held her own, uh. But it was
• 13:24
Speaker 3: a little bit of like rigid repeat from the Shana
• 13:26
Speaker 3: Lola match. But so for me it was okay. I
• 13:28
Speaker 3: just this is the one concept match that I'm not
• 13:31
  Speaker 3: a huge fan of because I can't tell it's not
• 13:35
Speaker 3: so much. I can't tell it's fake or real, if
• 13:37
  Speaker 3: it's a shoot or work. It's just I don't like
• 13:40
Speaker 3: the blending. It's same with the Lions that match. I'm
• 13:43
Speaker 3: not a big fan of this blending of MMA and wrestling.
• 13:45
Speaker 3: I just like wrestling to be wrestling in MMA to
• 13:48
  Speaker 3: be MMA.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, you've never been a guy that's enjoyed MMA matches
• 13:52
Speaker 2: type matches in wrestling in general.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: No, not sinting. I mean if I want to watch MMA,
• 13:57
Speaker 1: i'd go watch UFC.
• 13:58
Speaker 3: I mean, this is sister company, like it's it's to me,
• 14:01
Speaker 3: the MMA is like, because that's always the go between
• 14:03
Speaker 3: between the UFC fans and when they look at wrestling,
• 14:06
Speaker 3: it's like, oh, you watched the fake stuff, Well that
• 14:09
Speaker 3: were just faking UFC stuff, and it's like, that's that's
• 14:13
Speaker 3: just it's kind of cheesy to me in a lot
• 14:14
Speaker 3: of ways, Like the Lions didn't match with Riddle and
• 14:17
Speaker 3: said at least that was a you know, to try
• 14:19
Speaker 3: and settle some personal issues. I guess in a sense
• 14:22
Speaker 3: they're trying to do the same thing with the Undergroue.
• 14:23
Speaker 3: But then once again having the people around ringside banging
• 14:27
Speaker 3: on the mat like that's it's just kind of I
• 14:30
Speaker 3: don't know, I'm just not a huge fan of it.
• 14:32
Speaker 2: Next match is Nathan Fraser and Axiom defeated nor Kitt
• 14:35
Speaker 2: no quarter catch Crew, Miles Born and Tavon Heights retained
• 14:38
Speaker 2: the NC Tag Team Championship. I had no quarter catch Crew,
• 14:41
Speaker 2: Doctor Trade had Fraser and Axiom. I like how they
• 14:44
Speaker 2: played off of Nathan Fraser being beat up from the
• 14:46
Speaker 2: Irons Hover Challenge match earlier in the night and Axiom
• 14:48
Speaker 2: really having to carry the team in this one fun
• 14:50
Speaker 2: tag team match and phraxiumas may have just cemented themselves
• 14:54
Speaker 2: as the surprisingly best tag team professional wrestler that I've
• 14:57
Speaker 2: watched in twenty twenty four. I really like where the
• 14:59
Speaker 2: NIX Tackting division has headed with some renewed focus, which
• 15:02
Speaker 2: seems to be a w in initiative company WYE and
• 15:05
Speaker 2: when it comes to tag team wrestling, as we had
• 15:07
Speaker 2: into twenty twenty five, Doctor Trey, your thoughts on this
• 15:10
Speaker 2: one is Attack champs retain?
• 15:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, And I also liked that even though they retain,
• 15:15
Speaker 3: there's still that tension there. The Axiom had kind of
• 15:17
Speaker 3: having to carry the bulk of the work, and you
• 15:20
Speaker 3: know that at some point. I don't know what happened
• 15:21
Speaker 3: on Tuesdays. I missed NXT on Tuesday, but you know,
• 15:25
Speaker 3: is there any blowback from Axiom for having to carry
• 15:27
Speaker 3: the team. But Fraser still like trying to get a
• 15:30
Speaker 3: single shot, you know, a little surprise result though, because
• 15:33
Speaker 3: you have Charlie Dempsey as the Heritage Cup champion, So
• 15:36
Speaker 3: I kind of thought we might go that way with
• 15:38
Speaker 3: you know, Bourne Heigts because I really like them as
• 15:40
  Speaker 3: a tandem.
• 15:41
Speaker 1: I love their energy.
• 15:42
Speaker 3: But yeah, Frasier to Axiom have been on a roll
• 15:45
Speaker 3: for the entire year and there's nobody really left to
• 15:50
Speaker 3: show to put on their level as far as you know,
• 15:53
Speaker 3: bell to bell year long run like fraxium, as you
• 15:57
  Speaker 3: so eloquently.
• 15:57
Speaker 2: Put next match year as Trick Williams defeating Rich Holland
• 16:01
Speaker 2: and retain the NXC Championship. I had tricked Doctor Tray
• 16:03
Speaker 2: at Rich Holland. I'm still having a tough time with
• 16:06
Speaker 2: Trick Williams matches. Once again, the blueprint was that Trick
• 16:09
Speaker 2: looked overmatch. It's a trick shot on his opponent and
• 16:12
Speaker 2: gets the out of nowhere victory. I sound like a
• 16:15
Speaker 2: broken record about them changing the way he has booked
• 16:17
Speaker 2: from an entering perspective, and it doesn't look like it
• 16:19
Speaker 2: will be changing anytime soon, Doctor Tree. I really like
• 16:23
Speaker 2: Trick Williams, but I'm having a tough time watching his matches.
• 16:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, they book him like he's Raymysterio, you know, and
• 16:30
Speaker 3: it says it's like, oh, he's just so overmatched by everybody,
• 16:34
Speaker 3: let's let them kind of get a fluky victory at
• 16:38
Speaker 3: the end. I mean he did it with Dragon off
• 16:40
Speaker 3: of people as well. It's like, you do realize Trick's
• 16:43
Speaker 3: like four inches and like sixty pounds bigger than dragging
• 16:47
Speaker 3: off and this one, everybody's you know, he's wrestling these
• 16:50
Speaker 3: big guys, but he's six four two forty two fifty.
• 16:53
Speaker 3: The dudes are freaking you know, like prototypical build for
• 16:56
  Speaker 3: a pro wrestler, but they're booking him like he's a
• 17:00
Speaker 3: small guy. I don't like the way they book the matches.
• 17:03
Speaker 3: I don't mind Trick getting the win. The crowd still
• 17:06
Speaker 3: loves Trick Williams, but yeah, it's like he doesn't look
• 17:09
Speaker 3: strong as he might be the worst two time champion
• 17:13
Speaker 3: in the history of pro wrestling.
• 17:15
Speaker 2: It's hard to get my head around him. It really
• 17:17
Speaker 2: is entering performer. Doctor. I really want to like him.
• 17:20
Speaker 2: I see the upside, I see where it's going, but
• 17:23
Speaker 2: it's like, why are they booking him like this? Are
• 17:25
Speaker 2: they covering something? It's getting to the point where I'm like,
• 17:27
Speaker 2: are they covering up that he's not a good ring performer?
• 17:30
Speaker 2: Like why are we doing this?
• 17:32
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's it's it's because his name is
• 17:34
Speaker 3: Trick and so he has to have a like Trick win.
• 17:37
Speaker 1: I mean, it's just the weirdest thing.
• 17:39
Speaker 3: And plus I don't like the Trick shot Trick knee.
• 17:43
Speaker 3: I don't like the name of that either, like it
• 17:45
Speaker 3: just sounds everything about it sounds fluky, and it just doesn't.
• 17:50
Speaker 3: I mean, the guy is, like I said, like, if
• 17:52
Speaker 3: you're building a guy to be a pro wrestler, he
• 17:54
Speaker 3: has the he has the charisma, he has the my skill,
• 17:57
Speaker 3: he has the look, he has you know, a couple
• 18:01
Speaker 3: of really good moves.
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: It's they're booking him.
• 18:04
Speaker 3: Like he's our truth, which is a sad thing, which
• 18:06
Speaker 3: because we love our truth. But they're booking him like
• 18:09
Speaker 3: he's our truth. When he wins, we're like, oh my god,
• 18:11
Speaker 3: I can't believe he won. Like book them like he's.
• 18:14
Speaker 1: A badass dude, Like that's the way he should be
• 18:16
Speaker 1: being put together, book them like he's Booker t for
• 18:19
  Speaker 1: crying out loud.
• 18:19
Speaker 2: Well, well, this is what's funny, because now we're heading
• 18:21
Speaker 2: to Oba Femi Trick Williams at New Year's Evil, and
• 18:25
  Speaker 2: it's like, I think Oba's going to destroy him. I
• 18:29
Speaker 2: don't think it's going to be this like clash of Italians,
• 18:32
Speaker 2: something that we've been waiting for. I mean, they built
• 18:34
Speaker 2: NXT in twenty twenty four around these two guys, and rightfully,
• 18:38
Speaker 2: so you're getting ready to have a very big match
• 18:40
Speaker 2: with the same two guys that you built in twenty
• 18:42
Speaker 2: twenty four, just kick off twenty twenty five. And I
• 18:47
Speaker 2: don't think Trick, I mean just the way that he's
• 18:50
Speaker 2: been booked them, like he's gonna be overmatched by Obafemi
• 18:52
Speaker 2: and he's looking at Oba eyed eye, which is something
• 18:55
Speaker 2: that Oba doesn't typically do in matches. It's very very
• 18:58
  Speaker 2: strange booking.
• 19:00
Speaker 3: Oba's kicking out of the trick shot. I'll grantee, Oba
• 19:02
Speaker 3: dominates the whole match. Trick gets his little run, hits
• 19:05
Speaker 3: the trick shot, everybody goes, oh, it's over one two,
• 19:07
Speaker 3: there's the kickout. Trick's completely bewildered and flustered, and then
• 19:11
Speaker 3: Oba dominates to finish the match.
• 19:13
Speaker 1: The match is not going more than twelve minutes.
• 19:14
Speaker 3: None of these guys can really go more than twelve
• 19:16
Speaker 3: minutes and have a good match. I mean Oba's matches
• 19:20
Speaker 3: with wes Lee. It was wes Lee carrying the match
• 19:22
Speaker 3: in a lot of ways. You know Trick's best matches
• 19:24
Speaker 3: because otherwise have carried him. To put these two guy
• 19:27
Speaker 3: these together, it's I don't want to say Goldberg Lesnard
• 19:30
Speaker 3: type matchup, but maybe Drew Lesnar tighte matches where it's
• 19:33
Speaker 3: just big move, big move, big move, constant kickouts.
• 19:36
  Speaker 1: There's your finish.
• 19:37
Speaker 2: I don't know if we'll get to it. But on
• 19:39
Speaker 2: Tuesday's NXC, Eddie Thorpe came out interrupted Oba and Trick Williams.
• 19:42
Speaker 2: Eddie was laid out to close out last week's The
• 19:45
Speaker 2: week's prior's NXC had an in the deadline, he was
• 19:47
Speaker 2: removed the match. Obra replaced him as we discussed, and
• 19:50
Speaker 2: then at the end of the show on Tuesday, Eddie
• 19:52
Speaker 2: Thorpe revealed that he just faked an injury to get
• 19:56
Speaker 2: out of the deadline match and now is a title
• 19:58
Speaker 2: match on Tuesday's edition of NIX see in Lotte, Massachusetts
• 20:01
Speaker 2: against shrig Williams. Any thoughts on the development of the
• 20:04
  Speaker 2: Eddie Thorpe character.
• 20:06
Speaker 3: Uh, interesting development, because have I can't remember the last
• 20:10
Speaker 3: time somebody faked an injury to get a title match.
• 20:12
Speaker 3: Maybe Flair and Sting back in the days, but like
• 20:16
Speaker 3: recent in recent memory, I can't remember anybody pulling this angle.
• 20:19
Speaker 3: So I liked the angle, I liked the psychology behind it.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: I thought it was really well done.
• 20:24
Speaker 3: Plus you had the interaction of Sean and Eddie Thorpe from.
• 20:27
Speaker 1: A couple of weeks ago. So they've got some you know,
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: they've got there.
• 20:32
Speaker 3: They're seeing some qualities at Eddie Thorpe that maybe I
• 20:34
Speaker 3: haven't seen yet. But I did like the character development
• 20:37
Speaker 3: in the way it played out. Plus, not to mention, Lowell,
• 20:39
Speaker 3: Massachusetts is the home of NYC title upsets because that's
• 20:43
Speaker 3: where a bell or beat Joe.
• 20:45
Speaker 1: If I'm not mistaken it is.
• 20:46
Speaker 2: That is where it happened. And also I think it's
• 20:49
Speaker 2: most famously known for WE fans. Back in December ninety seven,
• 20:54
Speaker 2: the DX Christmas was in Lowell, Massachusetts. So I'm hoping
• 20:58
Speaker 2: that they kind of do a little wink wink, nudge
• 21:00
  Speaker 2: nudge to that.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can hope for that.
• 21:04
Speaker 3: But uh, I mean, really, is there anybody on NXT
• 21:07
Speaker 3: that has d X type qualities.
• 21:09
  Speaker 1: I mean, let's Sean Sean.
• 21:11
  Speaker 2: I'm thinking it's Sean.
• 21:12
Speaker 3: If Sean comes out and like, what was it the
• 21:15
Speaker 3: CM punk outfit that they from from a couple of
• 21:17
Speaker 3: months ago, would but have Sean come out in the
• 21:20
Speaker 3: Santa hat in a thong or something, And.
• 21:23
Speaker 2: I'll do that nowadays, but yeah, something close to it.
• 21:26
Speaker 2: I love by the way that NXC just as a
• 21:29
Speaker 2: nostalgic fan. I love that NXC is starting to run
• 21:32
Speaker 2: some of these like classic venues like Lowell, because they
• 21:35
Speaker 2: don't go to them anymore. Like these old school throwback
• 21:38
Speaker 2: raw venues. Give me, give me Manhattan Center, go back
• 21:42
Speaker 2: there where the birthplace of raw was hit up Hammerstein.
• 21:45
Speaker 2: I love that AW is going to Hammerstein. So I
• 21:48
Speaker 2: love that these like small venues or ECW Arena obviously,
• 21:51
Speaker 2: I love that they're going back to these arenas where
• 21:55
Speaker 2: there were some really cool nostalgic moments.
• 21:58
Speaker 3: They could go to Fayetteville because if enomous taking, that's
• 22:00
  Speaker 3: in Fayeville.
• 22:01
Speaker 1: I've been in several shows they are paid on North Carolina.
• 22:04
Speaker 3: That's where they did the dumping poop on Vince, I
• 22:07
Speaker 3: mean on the Spirit.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Squad, because I was there that night.
• 22:10
Speaker 3: That was the night of the Vince in Shane parody
• 22:12
Speaker 3: and then dumping the poop on the Spirit Squad.
• 22:14
Speaker 1: Look up right, yep, so I was there that night.
• 22:18
Speaker 2: And then finally the main event here, doctor Trey Julia
• 22:21
Speaker 2: defeats Sol Rucas, Stephanie vakor Zaria, and Rent Sinclair in
• 22:24
Speaker 2: the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge match to become the number
• 22:27
Speaker 2: one contender for the NXC Women's Championship at New Year's Evil.
• 22:30
Speaker 2: I had Julia duc Trey at Sephanie Vakcor. I thought
• 22:33
Speaker 2: sol Ruca really broke out in this match and is
• 22:35
Speaker 2: someone to keep an eye on twenty twenty five. What's
• 22:37
Speaker 2: really cool about the NC Women's division right now is
• 22:39
Speaker 2: their homegrown talent sol Ruca, Cloney Jordan are holding their
• 22:43
Speaker 2: own with the import of big name talent like Julia,
• 22:45
Speaker 2: sepfanevoarkcor In Zaria. I like the finish in this one
• 22:48
Speaker 2: and how came down to the wire. This match concept
• 22:50
Speaker 2: doesn't feel like it's twenty five minutes long, keeps me
• 22:52
Speaker 2: engaged the entire time. Like I mentioned earlier in the pod,
• 22:55
Speaker 2: Juliet getting the title shot makes the most sense to me,
• 22:57
Speaker 2: while protecting all the other girls and slowly developing what
• 23:00
Speaker 2: I believe will be an eventual feud between Julie and
• 23:02
Speaker 2: vadkort Trey. Your thoughts on this one. As Julia wins
• 23:05
Speaker 2: the Ironsaviv Challenge match for the women.
• 23:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, I actually like this one better than last year's
• 23:10
Speaker 3: women's match and once again credits the people that produce
• 23:14
  Speaker 3: this match.
• 23:14
Speaker 1: The timing on. There's never really any lulls.
• 23:17
Speaker 3: I mean, even you and I both love the Rumble,
• 23:19
Speaker 3: but there are times in the Rumble where you're kind
• 23:21
Speaker 3: of like, all right, can we get to something? There
• 23:23
Speaker 3: are lulls at times, and this one it feels very fluid.
• 23:27
Speaker 3: The time goes by very quickly, but you give each
• 23:31
Speaker 3: character enough time to develop stuff in the match as well.
• 23:34
Speaker 1: I thought Saul Rucas stood out as well.
• 23:37
Speaker 3: I kind of felt bad for ren Sinclaire because even
• 23:40
Speaker 3: though she had her moments, she felt kind of like
• 23:42
Speaker 3: the awkward step kid in this mix, like everybody else
• 23:46
Speaker 3: kind of shined, and I just didn't feel as she
• 23:48
Speaker 3: had as much as the other four. But overall, like, yeah,
• 23:51
Speaker 3: to me, it's leading to Julia and Stephanie at some point,
• 23:54
Speaker 3: which to me also means that, you know, maybe Roxanne
• 23:57
Speaker 3: and Korra are getting moved up to the next level
• 23:59
Speaker 3: because you can't have Julia, Stephanie, Sahl and Zaria all
• 24:05
Speaker 3: be babyfaces at the same time.
• 24:07
  Speaker 1: That's a little too overloaded.
• 24:09
Speaker 3: So somebody's you know, one or two are at the
• 24:12
Speaker 3: switch sides to balance things out. Once rock Stand and
• 24:15
Speaker 3: Cora probably get the call up here before long.
• 24:17
Speaker 2: I don't think there's any division professional wrestler right now
• 24:20
Speaker 2: that I like Fantasy Book when I watch the show
• 24:22
Speaker 2: more than the NXC women's division, because it's like, it's
• 24:24
Speaker 2: so it's so incredibly deep. There are so many talent
• 24:29
Speaker 2: for performers. You have like a core, you have rising stars,
• 24:34
Speaker 2: you have stars that are developing as time goes on,
• 24:39
Speaker 2: and they have a good base, they have a good
• 24:40
Speaker 2: solid foundation, they have a good top of the level talent.
• 24:44
Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's incredible, Doctor Trey, what like NXT
• 24:47
Speaker 2: has done with the women's division, and it's it's part
• 24:50
Speaker 2: credit to the talent acquisition that they've made and the
• 24:53
Speaker 2: development that they've made with people that were not professional
• 24:56
Speaker 2: wrestlers previously and then developing them on camera so that
• 25:00
Speaker 2: I give a crap, and then having really good matches
• 25:02
Speaker 2: in creative So again I gush about them. I've gushed
• 25:06
Speaker 2: about them all year long. I don't And there have
• 25:09
Speaker 2: been some very historic NXC Women's Division. I don't think
• 25:13
Speaker 2: that there has been one this good ever in the
• 25:16
  Speaker 2: history of NXT.
• 25:18
  Speaker 1: I don't think there's ever been one this deep. I don't.
• 25:21
Speaker 3: I still don't know if you have and maybe Julie
• 25:24
Speaker 3: is that person. I don't know if you put rock
• 25:26
Speaker 3: sand on the level of Bailey, Sasha, Becky, Charlotte, you know, Osca,
• 25:33
Speaker 3: you know, I don't know if you put her on
• 25:34
Speaker 3: those levels. But from top to bott like the women
• 25:37
Speaker 3: you named off in this match, doesn't even count that
• 25:40
Speaker 3: the North American Champion. If Fallon Henley was on the show,
• 25:42
Speaker 3: the rest of Fatal Influence was on the show, Gigi
• 25:46
Speaker 3: Dolan wasn't on the show. Like it's just, you know,
• 25:48
Speaker 3: it's just so deep. Colonie Jordan wasn't on the show.
• 25:51
Speaker 3: It's just so deep from top to bottom. Like you know,
• 25:55
Speaker 3: there have been time to d XT where you'd see
• 25:57
Speaker 3: a women's match and you're like, oh, that woman's really good,
• 26:00
Speaker 3: I have no clue who that person is. You don't
• 26:02
Speaker 3: have that with this women's division. And this is the
• 26:05
Speaker 3: one thing about NXT we've talked about over the longevity
• 26:09
Speaker 3: of it is it goes in cycles like the women's
• 26:12
Speaker 3: division will be really strong, but the tag division sucks,
• 26:15
Speaker 3: or the tag division be great, but the men's division
• 26:17
Speaker 3: is down. It's this right now, that women's division is
• 26:21
Speaker 3: the best division in any of in.
• 26:25
Speaker 1: All of wrestling and from top to bottom.
• 26:26
Speaker 3: As far as depth, I don't think any other shows,
• 26:29
Speaker 3: any other divisions have the depth that the women's division
• 26:33
  Speaker 3: has right now.
• 26:34
Speaker 2: No, they absolutely do not. And it's very, very exciting,
• 26:36
Speaker 2: and it's so cool it's coming from NXT pay per
• 26:40
Speaker 2: view prediction In this record, I went three and two
• 26:41
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey, one, one and four. So the random uh
• 26:45
Speaker 2: guessing that Doctor Trey last week?
• 26:47
Speaker 1: Did I got one?
• 26:49
Speaker 2: I guess that's not sustainable, Doctor Trey. I'm at one
• 26:52
Speaker 2: forty five and forty three on the year, doct trays
• 26:54
Speaker 2: at one fifty nine. We are coming up on the
• 26:57
Speaker 2: last pay per view of the year, which is AW
• 26:59
Speaker 2: World's End, and then we'll close up twenty twenty four
• 27:02
Speaker 2: pay per view predictions. Match of the night in event
• 27:05
Speaker 2: rating for NXC Deadline, I gave NXC Deadline three point five.
• 27:09
Speaker 2: I thought it was a fine show, and my match
• 27:11
Speaker 2: of the night was the Women's Iron Savivor Challenge Doctor Try.
• 27:15
Speaker 3: I was in a three point five also, but I
• 27:17
Speaker 3: gave it to the Men's Iron Survivor Change.
• 27:18
Speaker 1: I really I did enjoy that match.
• 27:20
Speaker 3: So the ways match was good, but I thought last
• 27:22
Speaker 3: year's was a little bit better.
• 27:23
Speaker 2: Do you think that there's any few, you know, I'm like,
• 27:26
Speaker 2: I don't want this to happen because then all of
• 27:29
Speaker 2: a sudden it's overdone. But do you think that there
• 27:33
Speaker 2: is a potential future for them to make the Iron
• 27:36
Speaker 2: Survivor Challenge match something that we see a little bit
• 27:39
Speaker 2: more regular on TV or which you prefer just seeing
• 27:41
Speaker 2: it at at deadline every year?
• 27:44
Speaker 3: Now, I mean I kind of like it. This kind
• 27:47
Speaker 3: of like Elimination Chamber in a lot of ways. It's
• 27:50
Speaker 3: like we only see it once a year. I'm much
• 27:53
Speaker 3: more of a fan of keeping things special. We only
• 27:55
Speaker 3: see the Rumble once a year, you know, things like this,
• 27:58
Speaker 3: Keep it special, keep it mean. If you start sprinkling
• 28:02
Speaker 3: it too much, it becomes like hell and his cell
• 28:04
Speaker 3: was at one point, whereas like we see four or
• 28:06
Speaker 3: five of those a year.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: At one point it's.
• 28:09
Speaker 3: Like, just keep it this way, let it run his course,
• 28:12
Speaker 3: because I'm sure within five or six years you and
• 28:14
Speaker 3: I'll be like, oh I got another Iron surviver Challenge,
• 28:16
Speaker 3: Like seriously, it might lose this luster over time. By
• 28:20
Speaker 3: the way, think about this. Thank God the last pay
• 28:22
Speaker 3: review is World's In because there'll be thirty seven matches
• 28:24
Speaker 3: on it and have a chance to.
• 28:25
  Speaker 1: Get you up.
• 28:27
Speaker 2: This is true. This is very very true. All right?
• 28:30
Speaker 2: That moving along here, sticking with w WEE This Saturday,
• 28:33
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey on NBC. It is the return of the
• 28:35
Speaker 2: Saturday Night's Main Event. They are teasing some nostalgia. We've
• 28:40
Speaker 2: seen a lot of hype with the old school music,
• 28:43
Speaker 2: the graphics, and then Triple H ran a promo with
• 28:47
Speaker 2: Cody Rhodes where he said one night only and that's it,
• 28:50
Speaker 2: and they open up a briefcase. Lights are shining, Cody
• 28:55
Speaker 2: closes it, looks at the screen, closes it and moves on.
• 28:59
Speaker 2: Everybody is obviously thinking that Cody will be coming out
• 29:02
Speaker 2: with the winged Eagle belt, which he has been pushing
• 29:04
Speaker 2: for for some time, which will make people's minds explode.
• 29:07
Speaker 2: I don't think we've seen the wing Engle belt since
• 29:10
Speaker 2: like nineteen ninety seven. At this point, Doctor Trey, you
• 29:15
Speaker 2: and I are longtime fans, so I'll start with you.
• 29:17
Speaker 2: Are you feeling nostalgic for this Saturday's return of Saturday
• 29:22
  Speaker 2: Night's Main Event?
• 29:24
  Speaker 1: Uh?
• 29:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you got Jesse the Body of Venture
• 29:26
Speaker 3: going to be on commentary, I mean monsoon.
• 29:30
Speaker 1: I mean that's my childhood like I grew up.
• 29:32
Speaker 3: I mean, people often forget how important Saturday's main event was,
• 29:37
Speaker 3: not just to the wrestling world, but to pop culture
• 29:40
Speaker 3: because it was the first.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: Time, really people in prime time.
• 29:44
Speaker 3: This could be We're gonna get a chance to actually
• 29:46
Speaker 3: see what the WWF at the time was doing. You know,
• 29:51
Speaker 3: for the most parts, people just kind of it was
• 29:53
Speaker 3: Saturday Night or Saturday morning shows, Sunday morning shows, Tuesday
• 29:57
Speaker 3: night Titans. I mean, this is before Monday Night Raw.
• 30:00
Speaker 3: I mean, that's how important stuff was, you know. To me,
• 30:04
Speaker 3: I'm a nostalgia for that. I'm you know, some of
• 30:06
Speaker 3: the people they've mentioned showing up. It's gonna be great
• 30:09
Speaker 3: because it's very eighties centric in a lot of ways,
• 30:13
Speaker 3: which is, like I said, literally my childhood a nutshell.
• 30:16
Speaker 3: I don't know if I like the Winged Eagle coming
• 30:19
Speaker 3: back for this vie really And here's why.
• 30:22
  Speaker 1: Here's why.
• 30:23
Speaker 3: It kind of tells me who's winning, because it's like,
• 30:27
Speaker 3: are you going to do a championship celebration for a
• 30:29
Speaker 3: guy holding a belt that's only gonna be seen one
• 30:32
Speaker 3: time for the next twenty years.
• 30:34
Speaker 2: But is there any part of you that thought that
• 30:36
Speaker 2: Kevin Owens could be leaving Nasau with the title heading
• 30:40
Speaker 2: into like Mania Rumble season. It's difficult.
• 30:43
Speaker 3: I thought you, I thought you might see it where he'd.
• 30:45
Speaker 1: Win it and then lose it right back.
• 30:48
  Speaker 2: I could see that a.
• 30:49
Speaker 3: Quick change something like that, but you know, still, like
• 30:53
Speaker 3: I for me, I'd rather if they're going to bring
• 30:56
Speaker 3: it back for one night, just bring it back for
• 30:57
  Speaker 3: a while. Like I'm I'm not a fan of the
• 31:00
Speaker 3: titles looking the same, just the colors are different. I
• 31:04
Speaker 3: still harken back to the days when you had the
• 31:06
Speaker 3: big gold belt on one brand and then you know,
• 31:09
Speaker 3: the WF title on the other brand. Like I miss
• 31:12
Speaker 3: the differences in the brands, and I feel like you know,
• 31:15
Speaker 3: right now, the only thing different is the inner continal
• 31:18
Speaker 3: in US titles, Like even the tag belt still looks
• 31:20
Speaker 3: kind of similar. But at least on one show you
• 31:22
Speaker 3: have a US title, there show you have an air
• 31:24
Speaker 3: Continental title. Other than that, it's the same belt designs,
• 31:27
Speaker 3: they just changed the colors.
• 31:29
Speaker 2: I'm I'm hyped for the Wing Eagle belt. That's the
• 31:31
Speaker 2: belt that I grew up on. I hear you that
• 31:35
Speaker 2: it's it's potentially spoiling the main event, but there is
• 31:38
Speaker 2: part of me that still thinks that there is. I
• 31:41
Speaker 2: think of all the Cody matches coming out of Mania,
• 31:45
Speaker 2: I felt like with this feud and this match, that
• 31:48
Speaker 2: this is maybe the closest that I've thought that Cody
• 31:51
Speaker 2: may not walk out with the championship.
• 31:54
Speaker 3: This is the first time since Mania. Yeah, I'd agree
• 31:57
Speaker 3: with like, there's there's something special about this, But I
• 32:00
Speaker 3: also think there's the possibility that leads into something even
• 32:04
Speaker 3: bigger because obviously at some point, I think the bloodline
• 32:10
Speaker 3: angle is probably gonna kind of come to an end
• 32:12
Speaker 3: around WrestleMania season, and it's so you kind of need
• 32:16
Speaker 3: another big faction to be born out of this stuff
• 32:19
Speaker 3: to kind of come out of it. So you hear
• 32:21
Speaker 3: a lot of the rumlings of maybe a Seth Drew
• 32:23
Speaker 3: Ko stable group type thing, and if that's where this
• 32:29
Speaker 3: goes and leads to that, like I'm four because those
• 32:31
Speaker 3: are three of my favorite guys to watch it they
• 32:32
Speaker 3: end up working together.
• 32:34
Speaker 2: So Saturday Night's main event ran from eighty five till
• 32:37
Speaker 2: about nineteen ninety two, and then it ended and then
• 32:40
Speaker 2: it went to what was it the main event? Was
• 32:42
Speaker 2: it more main event that was on Fox for a
• 32:44
  Speaker 2: period of time.
• 32:47
Speaker 1: I thought they still did a couple of Saturday It's Made.
• 32:50
Speaker 1: I thought they did one like in.
• 32:52
Speaker 2: Well it did come back. I'm just talking about the
• 32:54
Speaker 2: regular original one. And then in six to eight they
• 32:59
Speaker 2: ran a couple of Saturday and It's Main events.
• 33:01
Speaker 3: I don't think I ever watched any of the Fox
• 33:03
Speaker 3: main events. I don't think I I might have caught one.
• 33:06
Speaker 3: I don't on the top of my head unless you
• 33:08
Speaker 3: tell me a particular matchup, I cannot remember a Fox
• 33:12
  Speaker 3: main events.
• 33:13
Speaker 2: I think it was. I think it was like Bulldog
• 33:15
Speaker 2: and HBK. I think HBK won the inter curt Level Championship.
• 33:19
Speaker 2: I want to say, that's like a semi like hidden
• 33:23
  Speaker 2: Gem match.
• 33:25
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 33:25
  Speaker 1: The only.
• 33:28
Speaker 3: HBK Bulldog match I remember is European title.
• 33:32
Speaker 2: Oh back in ninety seven.
• 33:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's about the only one I can remember on
• 33:35
Speaker 3: top of my head.
• 33:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, February nineteen looks like, uh no, that was
• 33:41
Speaker 2: an episode of Saturday It's Main Event.
• 33:43
  Speaker 3: They're saying, I can't remember a single Fox main event.
• 33:47
Speaker 3: So well, was John Madden on the show?
• 33:51
  Speaker 2: I did?
• 33:52
Speaker 1: Did they do that?
• 33:52
Speaker 2: Did they do a crossover one time?
• 33:54
  Speaker 1: He did?
• 33:55
Speaker 3: There was something I remember back in the mid nineties
• 33:58
Speaker 3: when Madden and Summer All went to Fox that there
• 34:04
Speaker 3: was some kind of WWE crossover like cross promotion of
• 34:08
Speaker 3: stuff for like a couple of special events. But honestly,
• 34:12
Speaker 3: I guess that out the top of my head because
• 34:14
Speaker 3: at the time, like, yeah, they were on USA, but
• 34:17
Speaker 3: NBC had kind of disavowed them to the abyss that
• 34:20
Speaker 3: was USA, and SmackDown was on all of the Like
• 34:24
  Speaker 3: I don't it's actually smacked Own wasn't around you, so
• 34:26
Speaker 3: it was just raw. So like at that point, they
• 34:30
Speaker 3: didn't want any pro wrestling on NBC, so that's why
• 34:33
Speaker 3: they were able to license out stuff to Fox.
• 34:36
Speaker 1: But I thought there was some kind of Madden Summer All.
• 34:39
Speaker 2: I think you're right now that you mentioned that. It's
• 34:41
Speaker 2: like coming back to me now this is I think it.
• 34:43
Speaker 3: Was like Madden on the telestrator, like highlighting a match
• 34:46
Speaker 3: and doing like the boom and the pals and that stuff.
• 34:50
Speaker 3: That's how I kind of vaguely remember. But dear god, Jeff,
• 34:53
Speaker 3: that was thirty five years ago.
• 34:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's difficult for two guys our age
• 34:58
Speaker 2: trying to remember this stuff. So h Nonetheless, you've got
• 35:00
Speaker 2: Saturday Night's main event this Saturday back on NBC Jesse
• 35:03
Speaker 2: Ventura behind the microphone. I'm actually very disappointed to hear
• 35:07
Speaker 2: some wrestling fans have no idea who he is. I
• 35:11
Speaker 2: think they're in for a treat. I think Jesse is
• 35:12
Speaker 2: going to really like blow my mind that he's back
• 35:15
Speaker 2: in there. And I guess they're doing for these years,
• 35:18
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey. So this is we get this one December,
• 35:21
Speaker 2: and then there's one the Saturday before the Royal Rumble
• 35:24
Speaker 2: in San Antonio, Texas. I think on January twenty fifth
• 35:27
  Speaker 2: next month is.
• 35:28
Speaker 1: It Cole and Graves on commentary with Jesse.
• 35:31
  Speaker 2: So I don't know how there's they're promoting that Jesse
• 35:35
Speaker 2: will be a special guest comment color commentator, but it
• 35:40
Speaker 2: doesn't sound like it's for the whole show. So I'm
• 35:42
Speaker 2: thinking he is going to be on with Graves and Cole.
• 35:45
Speaker 2: I would love to see front to back start to finish,
• 35:48
Speaker 2: Michael Cole, Jesse Ventura, Corey Graves.
• 35:51
Speaker 1: I kind of wish it was Graves, McAfee and Ventura.
• 35:54
Speaker 2: That'd be cool. Maybe that happens next month.
• 35:57
Speaker 3: I love Corey Graves, but you know you and I
• 35:59
Speaker 3: have been Resie Evans a long time. Graves in a
• 36:01
Speaker 3: lot of ways is what Ventura was in the eighties.
• 36:06
Speaker 3: He's not nearly as corny as what Lawler was in
• 36:09
Speaker 3: the nineties. I love Jerry Lawler, don't get me wrong,
• 36:11
Speaker 3: but Lawler had a lot of jokes. It was basically
• 36:14
Speaker 3: straight heel Ventura and when Graves first came up as
• 36:18
Speaker 3: straight heel commentator, Graves, I just don't know if I
• 36:22
Speaker 3: would like heal heel commentators with a play by play.
• 36:26
Speaker 2: Guy, I'm going to give you a topic for an
• 36:28
Speaker 2: entire this should be a podcast episode, but I'm going
• 36:31
Speaker 2: to ask you to answer this very quickly because it's
• 36:34
Speaker 2: just that it's on here. But since we're talking about it, Graves,
• 36:37
Speaker 2: Jesse Ventura, Jerry Lawler, who, in your mind is the
• 36:40
Speaker 2: greatest color commentator in professional wrestling commentary.
• 36:44
  Speaker 1: History, Jesse Ventura.
• 36:47
  Speaker 2: I think it's Lawler.
• 36:48
Speaker 3: To me, Lawler was good with Ross, Lawler was not.
• 36:54
Speaker 3: Ventura was great with Vince and Gorilla Monsoon.
• 36:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was awesome, without a doubt. But I loved
• 37:02
Speaker 2: Lawler before they castrated him.
• 37:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, but Jesse was so good, Like even
• 37:07
Speaker 3: Jesse with Tony Shavanni and WCW was pretty good.
• 37:11
Speaker 2: See that's often forgotten about that. He did a run
• 37:13
Speaker 2: there for a little bit.
• 37:14
Speaker 3: Bobby Heenan also is in my top three to four.
• 37:19
Speaker 3: Like I loved Bobby Heenan on commentary as well.
• 37:21
Speaker 2: Yeah you can't, Yeah, you can't not love those guys.
• 37:25
Speaker 2: So that is a podcast in itself for another day,
• 37:30
Speaker 2: Switching gears talking to Tony Shavanni and his current company,
• 37:34
Speaker 2: AW Doctor Trey. I mentioned earlier in the show when
• 37:36
Speaker 2: we were talking about who would you give a lot
• 37:38
Speaker 2: of money out to, I wanted you to think of
• 37:40
Speaker 2: a name for the entire show in regards to how
• 37:42
Speaker 2: much money you would spend on this particular wrestler, and
• 37:45
Speaker 2: that is one Kyle Fletcher. As he defeated kazitsco Ocada
• 37:49
Speaker 2: in a Blue League match in the Continental Classic on
• 37:52
Speaker 2: this past Saturday's edition of AW Collision, and now he
• 37:56
Speaker 2: has defeated kazitsco Ocada and will Ospray from feed Ospre
• 38:00
Speaker 2: at Full Gear in the last four weeks. We love
• 38:05
Speaker 2: a good push and professional wrestling. We love seeing a
• 38:07
Speaker 2: young star get an opportunity. But this is a peculiar
• 38:12
Speaker 2: case because I don't necessarily know if everybody was like
• 38:15
Speaker 2: this is a future star, this is a guy that
• 38:17
Speaker 2: they need to start pushing. So when it comes to
• 38:20
Speaker 2: Kyle Fletcher in AW and this push where he's defeated
• 38:23
Speaker 2: Okada and he's defeated Ospray in the last four weeks,
• 38:26
Speaker 2: do you agree with the push and r to you
• 38:29
Speaker 2: or can you get behind it? So?
• 38:32
Speaker 1: Am I okay with the push? Yeah?
• 38:34
Speaker 3: Because AW, we got to create some new stars. We
• 38:37
Speaker 3: gotta create some guys to kind of break out and
• 38:40
Speaker 3: stand out. Kyle Fletcher, when you look at him, like
• 38:43
Speaker 3: we're talking about with Shrick, has the look, has to build,
• 38:46
Speaker 3: has the move set. I am just nervous in a
• 38:50
Speaker 3: sense that he's not a great promo less he's talking
• 38:55
Speaker 3: about Osprey. I kind of feel like when I watch
• 38:59
Speaker 3: him at times, I don't know if I'm watching him
• 39:02
Speaker 3: or like the Mark Jenrax of the world, the Sean
• 39:05
Speaker 3: O'Hare's of the world, the Chuck Blombo's of the world
• 39:08
Speaker 3: in the early days, where you're like.
• 39:10
Speaker 1: He's got a lot of the qualities you look for.
• 39:13
  Speaker 3: I just don't know when I see him if I
• 39:16
Speaker 3: see the it factor. Like when I first saw Randy Orton,
• 39:20
Speaker 3: I was like, that guy's got it. There's something about
• 39:22
Speaker 3: that that he has like, if you go back to
• 39:27
Speaker 3: the early days of the show, like we saw about
• 39:28
Speaker 3: Cody Rose, I was like, Cody's missing something.
• 39:31
Speaker 1: There was something here.
• 39:32
Speaker 3: I used to hate When Cody Rose wrestled without kneepads
• 39:36
Speaker 3: drove me nuts. There are certain things you see and
• 39:39
Speaker 3: you're like, if he can just tweak this or do this,
• 39:44
  Speaker 3: he'll be a star. I just don't know if I'm
• 39:47
Speaker 3: there on the Kyle Fletcher train yet.
• 39:51
  Speaker 1: I see a.
• 39:53
Speaker 3: Lot of the building blocks you want when you want
• 39:55
Speaker 3: to create amen event star. I just I don't know
• 39:58
Speaker 3: if he has that natural arristhma, that natural in factor
• 40:03
Speaker 3: that some of the other guys we talked about have.
• 40:05
Speaker 3: There's to me is this is why you have a
• 40:07
Speaker 3: don Callis with him to kind of cover up those
• 40:10
Speaker 3: flaws until he can break away.
• 40:12
  Speaker 1: I just I think he's if you're RIDI.
• 40:14
Speaker 3: Him like on a ten star scale, he'd be like
• 40:17
Speaker 3: a seven point five or and eight.
• 40:19
Speaker 2: So here's my issue. I love seeing young stars get
• 40:23
Speaker 2: an opportunity to rise the ladder and climb the ladder.
• 40:27
Speaker 2: I do think Kyle Fletcher is a guy that will
• 40:30
Speaker 2: be a future top star in professional wrestling. I've actually
• 40:33
Speaker 2: felt that way since he was in United Empire with
• 40:35
Speaker 2: Mark Davis. I thought there's something about Kyle Fletcher that's
• 40:38
Speaker 2: very appealing, and he has a lot of charisma, good
• 40:41
Speaker 2: entering skill, and I could just see as time goes
• 40:43
Speaker 2: on that this is a guy that can be potentially
• 40:46
Speaker 2: a decent star in the company. However, when I think
• 40:50
Speaker 2: about the current build of Kyle Fletcher, it just makes
• 40:53
Speaker 2: me go, they're doing this with him, but right now
• 40:56
Speaker 2: they're kind of botching the way that they've built Jay White,
• 41:01
Speaker 2: Orange Cassidy, currently building will Osprey, Swerve Strickland. You've got
• 41:06
Speaker 2: a lot of guys I want to see at the
• 41:09
Speaker 2: top of the card, and for some reason they're either
• 41:13
Speaker 2: like booked in a weird light, or they're not booked
• 41:18
Speaker 2: in the top spot at all, like Darby Allen. Like
• 41:21
Speaker 2: you and I have been thinking that Darby Allen's going
• 41:23
Speaker 2: to be the guy that eventually takes down the Death Riders,
• 41:25
Speaker 2: but he's losing clean to Claudia Castinelli getting his ass
• 41:29
Speaker 2: kick before pay per view, and it's like, what, why
• 41:31
Speaker 2: are they doing this? It's making no sense at all,
• 41:35
Speaker 2: And that's kind of where I am. I feel like
• 41:37
Speaker 2: Kyle Fletcher to me is a victim of how I
• 41:42
Speaker 2: perceive AW creative. Right now, I like what they're doing.
• 41:46
Speaker 2: He's leading the Blue League for the Continental Classic, but
• 41:50
Speaker 2: I think that there's a possibility that, like he could
• 41:52
Speaker 2: lose the next two matches against Daniel Garcia and Mark
• 41:54
Speaker 2: Briscoe and you know, somehow fall out where he is
• 42:00
Speaker 2: not showcased at World's End in a couple of weeks,
• 42:03
Speaker 2: and it's like, hey, remember that we could be talking
• 42:05
Speaker 2: like in three weeks and going. Remember when we were
• 42:07
Speaker 2: talking about Kyle Fletcher after he defeated Okata and Osbray
• 42:10
Speaker 2: in a four week span. So it's just there's been
• 42:14
Speaker 2: a lot of start stops. I was thinking of myself today,
• 42:16
  Speaker 2: I'm like, we're the Hell's Wardlow. I know he's injured,
• 42:19
Speaker 2: but there's a guy that was getting a push in
• 42:20
Speaker 2: AW that completely fell off. We're Scorpio's guy. I think
• 42:25
Speaker 2: he's injured, but he's had a bunch of like pushes
• 42:28
Speaker 2: in AW then completely gone and vanished. So I mean,
• 42:32
Speaker 2: there's a possibility that Kyle Fletcher could be a top
• 42:35
Speaker 2: guy for the next three to six months, and then
• 42:37
Speaker 2: six to twelve months from now he's fallen off the
• 42:40
Speaker 2: ladder or He's in some sort of mediocre feud that
• 42:43
Speaker 2: isn't getting a lot of attention that fans necessarily don't
• 42:46
Speaker 2: care about. So I'm a bit torn dot try. I
• 42:49
Speaker 2: like that they're doing it, but it's not something that
• 42:51
Speaker 2: me as a fan watching at home, that I necessarily
• 42:54
Speaker 2: want to see. I want to see Darby climbing the ladder.
• 42:57
Speaker 2: I think they should be using the Continental Classic to
• 43:00
Speaker 2: be really showcasing because it's Cocta heading in twenty twenty five.
• 43:04
Speaker 2: So I do not like Okata taking owls. O'cott has
• 43:07
Speaker 2: been barely booked in aw in twenty twenty four, and
• 43:09
Speaker 2: I feel like that they need to be pushing Okada
• 43:13
Speaker 2: a lot more heading in his next year. I want
• 43:15
Speaker 2: to see Will Osprey pushed harder. I want to see
• 43:17
Speaker 2: sort of Strickling pushed harder. I want to see Hangman
• 43:20
Speaker 2: Page and Jay White pushed harder. I don't want to
• 43:22
Speaker 2: see Orange Cassidy play like this second Fiddle. I like
• 43:25
Speaker 2: that he's in world title feuds, but I want to
• 43:27
Speaker 2: see him pushed harder as like a guy that is
• 43:30
Speaker 2: a top star. So sucks for Kyle Fletcher, but I
• 43:34
Speaker 2: look at some of the other things and I'm like,
• 43:36
Speaker 2: I just don't believe it quite yet. So that's kind
• 43:39
Speaker 2: of where I'm at right now.
• 43:39
Speaker 3: Doctor Try, don't forget Curtis Axe will beat Triple H, Right,
• 43:44
Speaker 3: Lord Tensi beat John.
• 43:46
Speaker 2: Cena, Fandango defeated Jericho.
• 43:48
  Speaker 3: I mean, there's been some things where we're like Man's
• 43:51
Speaker 3: It's it could be a breakout, hey.
• 43:53
Speaker 2: Doctor Try. Yeah, Action and is Ready defeated Chris Jericho.
• 43:57
  Speaker 1: That is true.
• 43:58
Speaker 3: But you know the problem I have with this booking
• 44:01
Speaker 3: right now is Kazushiko Kata is in the Blue League.
• 44:05
Speaker 1: He's your current reigning continental champion.
• 44:08
Speaker 3: Are you going to have him lose a title and
• 44:11
Speaker 3: not be in the title match at all? Like it?
• 44:15
Speaker 3: I don't like that, So to me, it kind of
• 44:18
Speaker 3: blows up the whole spot because to Meka, doesn't cut
• 44:20
Speaker 3: back and win this league and head on head onto
• 44:24
Speaker 3: a world's end and you know, defend that title much
• 44:27
Speaker 3: like we saw with Eddie Kingston last year. You know
• 44:31
Speaker 3: to me that if you if you go that route,
• 44:35
Speaker 3: what does it mean for Kyle Fletcher, Like he's got
• 44:37
Speaker 3: two big wins, but if he doesn't win the Blue
• 44:39
Speaker 3: League doesn't do anything for him, doesn't put him in
• 44:42
Speaker 3: a title picture. You know, so to me and we've
• 44:45
Speaker 3: seen AW, they get the shiny It's the We've talked
• 44:49
Speaker 3: about this for five years.
• 44:50
Speaker 1: It's the Tony Kahan shiny new toy syndrome.
• 44:53
Speaker 3: He gets a new play toy, he uses a bunch
• 44:56
Speaker 3: of it, and then the next toy comes long he
• 44:58
Speaker 3: forgets a by the one he just had. That's why
• 44:59
Speaker 3: we I had so many start and stops pushes throughout
• 45:02
Speaker 3: this entire run of AW that you and I have
• 45:05
Speaker 3: been left frustrated by. So I like it for Kyle
• 45:08
Speaker 3: Fletcher because he can always hang his hat on. Hey,
• 45:11
Speaker 3: I'm the only guy in AW has beat Okata and ouspray.
• 45:14
Speaker 3: He could always bring that back up. But you know,
• 45:19
Speaker 3: how long does that whole credibility if you lose your
• 45:21
Speaker 3: next three or four matches in the Blue League. So
• 45:23
Speaker 3: it just you know, this is one of because we're
• 45:26
Speaker 3: tking about beginning the show, like is he a guy?
• 45:28
Speaker 3: Is he a double a triple A prospect that you
• 45:31
Speaker 3: just go ahead and sign to a long term deal
• 45:33
Speaker 3: because you know he's going to hit for you or
• 45:35
Speaker 3: he's going to pitch for you and be a star,
• 45:38
Speaker 3: or is he you know, a Mark Jindrak, who looked
• 45:42
Speaker 3: really good in his suit walking next to Evolution but
• 45:44
Speaker 3: never got in Evolution.
• 45:46
  Speaker 2: It's amazing. It's it's it's like cool to see because
• 45:50
Speaker 2: the way AW does things. It's like, I don't know
• 45:52
Speaker 2: if I can get behind the yet, I just I
• 45:53
Speaker 2: don't want to invest because it could very well be
• 45:56
Speaker 2: in three to six months time, or even three weeks.
• 45:58
Speaker 2: Kyle Fletcher is forgotten. He's not in the final four
• 46:01
Speaker 2: of the Continental Classic at World's End, so I don't know.
• 46:05
Speaker 2: It's just I was very, very surprised they had him
• 46:09
Speaker 2: defeat Okada on Saturday's Collision. It's like, this is your
• 46:13
Speaker 2: opportunity to showcase Okada to an audience that may not
• 46:16
Speaker 2: know him, and it's like, this is this is what
• 46:18
Speaker 2: you're doing. I like seeing Fletcher climbing climbing the ladder,
• 46:22
Speaker 2: but it's like I want to see Okada be showcased
• 46:25
Speaker 2: because he should be someone that has a big twenty
• 46:28
Speaker 2: twenty five for AW.
• 46:30
Speaker 3: By the way, did Okada get cheered by the fans?
• 46:32
Speaker 3: He did, okay, because I missed the match I had
• 46:36
Speaker 3: to catch highlights of, but the highlights didn't have the
• 46:38
Speaker 3: entrances because Okada like, you got the Bucks who just left.
• 46:43
Speaker 1: Jack Perry's kind of off.
• 46:45
Speaker 3: We're doing weird stuff acause on his own, on his
• 46:47
Speaker 3: own right now, So it's like, is he a baby
• 46:50
  Speaker 3: face now?
• 46:51
Speaker 2: He is not acting as a big face. He's stills
• 46:52
Speaker 2: doing the metal finger stuff. One of you does the
• 46:55
  Speaker 2: Rainmaker pose.
• 46:57
Speaker 3: But doesn't it frustrates you that if the Bucks knew
• 46:59
Speaker 3: they were taking time off and that you were going
• 47:01
Speaker 3: to take the belt off Jack Perry, wouldn't you have
• 47:05
Speaker 3: a game plan for Okada? So he's one of your
• 47:07
Speaker 3: biggest signings, and it just kind of feels like he's
• 47:10
Speaker 3: middling right now since all that stuff.
• 47:12
Speaker 2: Happened, well, since he signed really well.
• 47:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they gave him a belt right away
• 47:17
Speaker 3: because he was a shiny new toy.
• 47:19
Speaker 2: Well yeah, it's just funny. I like, I was like,
• 47:21
Speaker 2: man was because I just saw all the promos for
• 47:23
Speaker 2: All In Texas at They're running like crazy, and I'm like,
• 47:27
Speaker 2: I don't remember Okada being it all In and I
• 47:29
Speaker 2: was like, he didn't have a match, and I was
• 47:32
Speaker 2: trying to think of myself. Was he in the Casino
• 47:33
Speaker 2: Battle Royal? I don't remember, And it's like that fucking
• 47:39
Speaker 2: Kozitsko Okada. A year ago, we were like, this is
• 47:43
Speaker 2: like Osprey already signed at this point with AW. He
• 47:46
Speaker 2: announced it a full gear last year, and then Ocada's out
• 47:48
Speaker 2: there and you're hearing the rumblings potentially we having some
• 47:51
Speaker 2: interests and we just think that he's going to AW
• 47:53
Speaker 2: and it's like, Man, Okada hitting the open market is
• 47:56
Speaker 2: something we never expected. This is a big deal. Is
• 48:00
Speaker 2: a guy that may be the best pure professional wrestler
• 48:04
Speaker 2: in the last ten years, had some of the best
• 48:06
Speaker 2: matches that I've seen ever with Kenny Omega, and he
• 48:09
Speaker 2: has an opportunity to come to the United States and
• 48:11
Speaker 2: he comes to the United States and he's like barely used,
• 48:14
Speaker 2: and it's like, what are we doing. I don't know
• 48:16
Speaker 2: if it's his contract, I don't know what it is,
• 48:19
Speaker 2: but it's like, the only reason I know anything about
• 48:23
Speaker 2: Okada is because I watched New Japan. If you are
• 48:26
Speaker 2: an AW fan that does not know Okada from New Japan,
• 48:31
Speaker 2: or you've only heard the name and you're waiting to
• 48:33
Speaker 2: see how he is in all EAD wrestling, I think
• 48:36
Speaker 2: you are mistakenly like like shocked that people love this
• 48:41
Speaker 2: guy as much as they did. I would watch Okada
• 48:44
Speaker 2: matches in twenty sixteen to nineteen Doctor Trey, and every
• 48:48
Speaker 2: single one of those matches, I was like, this is amazing.
• 48:51
Speaker 2: He was just on one of those runs, like him
• 48:53
Speaker 2: and Kenny were on one of those runs.
• 48:55
Speaker 3: The crazy thing is is if you were ranking the
• 48:57
Speaker 3: most famous Japanese wrestlers in America right now, Okata might
• 49:02
Speaker 3: finish third behind Knackamoor and to Zawa.
• 49:05
Speaker 2: Well eo Sky, Yeah, I've.
• 49:08
Speaker 3: Just made out on the men's side. I didn't want
• 49:09
Speaker 3: to go deep. I mean throwing an oscar eo. You know,
• 49:12
Speaker 3: even I still think he might be better known than Kyrie saying,
• 49:16
Speaker 3: but definitely Knackamore is a bigger star in the US
• 49:19
Speaker 3: right now than Okada is. And that's crazy to think
• 49:21
Speaker 3: because I'm like, look, if I'm trying to grow my
• 49:24
Speaker 3: audience and grow my international agreements, and also I make
• 49:28
Speaker 3: Okada a focal point of my show to grow that,
• 49:32
Speaker 3: and he's like, what twelve on the pecking order in
• 49:36
  Speaker 3: eight fifteenth.
• 49:38
Speaker 2: To be fair about Knockamore, I mean that's just within
• 49:40
Speaker 2: like the last three weeks. Let's not like go crazier
• 49:43
Speaker 2: they have. They kept Knockamore off television for months.
• 49:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, but even then he was he still did the
• 49:51
Speaker 3: match with a mudha. You know that was a while back.
• 49:53
Speaker 3: But I mean, but you got.
• 49:54
Speaker 2: That's like a hit in GEM. You've got to be
• 49:56
Speaker 2: a hardcore to know that that match even took place,
• 49:58
Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like a normal wif is
• 50:00
Speaker 2: not knowing that match happened.
• 50:02
Speaker 1: So does that make Tizzo with the biggest Japanese star
• 50:04
  Speaker 1: in the US.
• 50:05
Speaker 2: Then I don't think it makes tizza I honestly, if
• 50:09
Speaker 2: I mean, I can't say that without saying EO. Sky
• 50:13
Speaker 2: And I know you're just talking about the men, and
• 50:15
  Speaker 2: I think if you're saying the men, I think I
• 50:16
Speaker 2: would still say Okada. But I think overall it's like
• 50:20
Speaker 2: EO Sky and it's it's not even close.
• 50:23
Speaker 1: I think to wrestling fans, you're right.
• 50:25
Speaker 3: But I think if you went off just like hey,
• 50:27
Speaker 3: person on the street, like who are these people?
• 50:28
  Speaker 1: Do you recognize?
• 50:30
Speaker 3: I think Knakamor would still get more recognition in the
• 50:33
Speaker 3: United States from just casual.
• 50:34
Speaker 2: You are probably right, yes, everybody else, Yeah, I would
• 50:37
Speaker 2: agree with you there if you're doing like man on
• 50:39
Speaker 2: the street, do you know this person? Oh yeah, that's
• 50:41
Speaker 2: uh the guy that they sing the song to in
• 50:43
Speaker 2: w W yep. And then who's this other guy with
• 50:46
Speaker 2: a really long coat and blonde hair? No idea, no
• 50:49
Speaker 2: idea at all. Why does he call himself a rain maker?
• 50:51
Speaker 2: Does he come to bring in an umbrella?
• 50:54
Speaker 1: Is that Japanese M and M? Who's uh?
• 50:57
Speaker 2: Finally here, Doctor Trey wrapping up this week's edition of SRT.
• 51:00
Speaker 2: The last thing I want to talk about is whether
• 51:03
Speaker 2: or not Tony Kahan has become what he feared. And
• 51:07
Speaker 2: this is a story that could have opened this week's
• 51:11
Speaker 2: edition of SRT. You honestly so. The big thing of
• 51:13
Speaker 2: the news this week is the Ray Phoenix contract ual issue,
• 51:16
Speaker 2: showcasing aw's practices and adding injury time. Rumors out there
• 51:22
Speaker 2: that AW had heard that the Lucha Bros Were leaving
• 51:27
Speaker 2: and basically made them sit on the sideline until their
• 51:30
Speaker 2: contracts ran out. So pentas contract has ran out, he
• 51:33
Speaker 2: is a free agent. Ray Phoenix has a decent amount
• 51:37
Speaker 2: of time on there because of injuries being added, and
• 51:42
Speaker 2: he tweeted out which I believe since we are now
• 51:45
Speaker 2: recording this he has deleted. He said that they had
• 51:48
Speaker 2: inhumane practices, which is very damaging thing to say and
• 51:54
Speaker 2: allude to. This is also coming in the last couple
• 51:56
Speaker 2: of weeks where Ricky Starks has been on the sideline
• 51:59
Speaker 2: since March, and he pops up in GCW. One of
• 52:03
Speaker 2: the GCW guys, f E goes out there on his
• 52:07
Speaker 2: podcast rips Tony kN Apart, and then they start pulling
• 52:11
Speaker 2: AW talent from the GCW shows, leaving Ricky Starks back
• 52:15
Speaker 2: on the sideline and hit some independence. There's a lot
• 52:17
Speaker 2: of rumors out there that the reason why he's on
• 52:19
Speaker 2: the sidelines is because AW thought he was gonna be
• 52:21
Speaker 2: leaving for WI soon. There was the what is what
• 52:28
Speaker 2: is Dolph Siegler's brother's name? Again? There Nemes Ryan Ryan
• 52:34
Speaker 2: Nemeth on the sidelines. He wasn't used. We talked about
• 52:37
Speaker 2: the cempunk stuff on last week's show. I mean, there's
• 52:40
Speaker 2: potentially Miro sit on the sidelines because he wants to leave.
• 52:45
Speaker 2: It's these things where WW would be often criticized for
• 52:49
Speaker 2: releasing people and firing them, and now AW is like,
• 52:53
Speaker 2: we never wanted to do that. But it's almost like
• 52:56
Speaker 2: AW is punishing people when they want to leave the company,
• 52:59
Speaker 2: so they keep him under contract and don't use them
• 53:02
Speaker 2: for months. So that there's stock completely drops and now
• 53:06
Speaker 2: it's completely flipped my mind where I'm like, damn, WWE
• 53:08
Speaker 2: was doing a solid for some of these guys where
• 53:10
Speaker 2: it's like we're gonna release you. Everybody's got to know it,
• 53:13
Speaker 2: and then you're gonna have three months to sit at
• 53:16
Speaker 2: home and get paid and then you'll be able to
• 53:17
Speaker 2: do anything and have a ton of buzz once you
• 53:19
Speaker 2: hit AW, Independent Scenes, GCW, Impact Wrestling, TNA, whatever. It's
• 53:27
Speaker 2: it's an interesting practice and I'm seeing a lot of
• 53:30
Speaker 2: people online going that Tony Kahan has become what he feared,
• 53:35
Speaker 2: where he may be worse or on equal ground to
• 53:38
Speaker 2: Vince McMann as a boss. I don't like these practices.
• 53:43
Speaker 2: If a wrestler wants to leave, let them go. I
• 53:46
Speaker 2: know you're paying them, but they're doing a lot of
• 53:48
Speaker 2: damage to Ray Phoenix's career. And we only get time
• 53:51
Speaker 2: on this earth for a short amount of time, essentially,
• 53:54
Speaker 2: and for professional wrestlers, that time that they have in
• 53:58
Speaker 2: their prime to be successful is a very small window.
• 54:02
Speaker 2: And while Ricky Stark's Penta and Ray Phoenix were collecting
• 54:06
Speaker 2: checks with Aw's name on them, which is great for
• 54:09
Speaker 2: their family and their finances. When they get out, there's
• 54:12
Speaker 2: gonna be buzz, but people may forget about them. And
• 54:16
Speaker 2: I think that they're doing a lot of damaging things
• 54:18
Speaker 2: there to guys like this. I don't like this practice,
• 54:22
Speaker 2: doctor Trey. I think it's worse than what we does.
• 54:26
Speaker 2: And it just a lot of things that you've heard
• 54:30
Speaker 2: punk interviews, the Ryan Nemeth story. It starts to really
• 54:35
Speaker 2: question the type of boss that Tony Khan may be. Actually,
• 54:39
Speaker 2: everybody says he's a nice guy, but there are also
• 54:42
Speaker 2: sides to every nice person where there's a little bit
• 54:45
Speaker 2: of being a vindictiveness and being a jerk, and I
• 54:49
Speaker 2: think we may be seeing that right now. So do
• 54:51
Speaker 2: you think Tony Khan has essentially become what he feared
• 54:55
Speaker 2: when he entered the world of professional warresting and become
• 54:57
Speaker 2: an evil boss at times he portrayed Vinceicmannabe.
• 55:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, because if you remember when aaw was first putting
• 55:05
Speaker 3: stuff together and they're like, oh, all of our talents
• 55:07
Speaker 3: to be paid about the same the men are gonna
• 55:10
Speaker 3: get paid here, the women and men are be treated
• 55:12
  Speaker 3: as equals.
• 55:13
Speaker 1: And they actually one of the things that actually came
• 55:14
  Speaker 1: out and said.
• 55:15
Speaker 3: They weren't going to do was add time onto people's
• 55:19
Speaker 3: contracts if they got hurt, because that was one of
• 55:22
Speaker 3: the sticking points. I can't remember which WW talent it was,
• 55:26
Speaker 3: but they had gotten injured, their contract was coming up,
• 55:29
Speaker 3: they added more time on to them before they could
• 55:32
Speaker 3: made it might have been Adam Cole actually before they
• 55:35
Speaker 3: could make the job. They added more time on to them,
• 55:37
Speaker 3: before they could become a free agent. And AW is like, oh,
• 55:40
Speaker 3: we're never going to do that, and now.
• 55:42
  Speaker 1: They do it.
• 55:43
Speaker 3: And by the way, this is the worst practice I
• 55:47
Speaker 3: think in pressure wrestling, where you sign a four year contract,
• 55:50
Speaker 3: you get hurt performing in the ring for that company,
• 55:54
Speaker 3: and you're out for six months, and they add six.
• 55:56
Speaker 1: Months on your time.
• 55:57
Speaker 3: Could you imagine, as a baseball or football fan, if
• 56:00
Speaker 3: like your favorite players in a contract, like you know
• 56:03
Speaker 3: your favor players in a contract year, he gets hurt,
• 56:05
Speaker 3: he's out for the year, but now you get to
• 56:08
Speaker 3: hang on to him for another year because of that,
• 56:11
  Speaker 3: Like it's it's a ridiculous practice. But yeah, I mean,
• 56:16
Speaker 3: and also I mean the talent relations in AW. You
• 56:18
Speaker 3: think of all the guys that they just their contracts
• 56:20
Speaker 3: came up and they've never heard from AEW and just
• 56:23
Speaker 3: let the contract run out, like the Joey Janella's, the
• 56:26
Speaker 3: Marco stunts, you know, those those early day aaw guys.
• 56:29
Speaker 3: Well when all the new shiny toys came in and
• 56:31
Speaker 3: those guys weren't being used anymore, Oh well, yeah, we're
• 56:35
Speaker 3: gonna let your contract run out.
• 56:36
Speaker 1: But they don't even tell those guys that.
• 56:38
Speaker 3: So that there's a lot of talent relation issues, and
• 56:41
Speaker 3: a lot of it is I just feel like Tony
• 56:42
Speaker 3: Kahn is one of those non confrontational people. Like he's
• 56:47
Speaker 3: very passive aggressive about stuff when it comes to that.
• 56:50
Speaker 3: So he just kind of lets stuff go and just
• 56:54
Speaker 3: you know, kind of you know, backhands in a.
• 56:57
  Speaker 1: Lot of ways.
• 56:58
Speaker 3: I mean, hell, I go back to the the brawl
• 57:01
Speaker 3: in press conference where seem punks and they're burying people
• 57:03
Speaker 3: on the microphone and Tony Conston right next to him
• 57:07
Speaker 3: and never says a word, like to me, he's just
• 57:10
  Speaker 3: he's a nice guy, but he's not a great boss.
• 57:15
Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta be the hard ass, you gotta draw
• 57:18
Speaker 3: a line, and he just doesn't do that. And that's
• 57:21
Speaker 3: why you get stories like this, or the Janello stories,
• 57:24
Speaker 3: or the Ricky Stark stuff. Stuff comes out it's like
• 57:27
Speaker 3: you're just not using me.
• 57:28
  Speaker 1: I mean, I.
• 57:29
Speaker 3: Saw a Scorpios guy on Chris Van Valet show of
• 57:33
Speaker 3: a couple months back and he says anything. He's like,
• 57:35
Speaker 3: I was hurt. I've been healthy for four months. Just
• 57:39
Speaker 3: they gotta find a spot for me to jump back in.
• 57:41
  Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, find a spot, Like it's shouldn't be
• 57:45
Speaker 3: that hard to find a guy.
• 57:46
Speaker 1: I mean, put him in the ring.
• 57:47
Speaker 3: But yeah, like he's he's in a lot of ways,
• 57:51
Speaker 3: he's worse than Vince because he's not drawing those lines,
• 57:55
Speaker 3: he's not putting his foot down on certain things. He's
• 57:58
Speaker 3: just being passive and in a lot of ways kind
• 58:02
  Speaker 3: of shading underhanded.
• 58:04
Speaker 2: I've heard from a friend who knows a former AAW talent,
• 58:09
Speaker 2: which is similar stories that you've shared from former AW
• 58:13
Speaker 2: talents as well, that Tony Khan is a very nice guy,
• 58:17
Speaker 2: but he's not a boss. And these are wrestlers that
• 58:21
Speaker 2: were utilized for a period of time and then all
• 58:23
Speaker 2: of a sudden stopped and it's the shiny new toy.
• 58:26
Speaker 2: It's like the favorites that Tony Khan likes for a
• 58:29
Speaker 2: period of time and then they get like thrown to
• 58:32
Speaker 2: the side. I would say right now, if you're watching
• 58:34
Speaker 2: AW a lot, you know that he loves the Beast
• 58:37
Speaker 2: Mortos like I like Beast Mortos too. But he's on
• 58:40
Speaker 2: dynamite rampage and collision more than any wrestler right now.
• 58:46
Speaker 2: And there's been periods of times where he really likes
• 58:48
Speaker 2: Scorpios guys. Doctor Trey mentioned Sammy Gavara used to be
• 58:52
Speaker 2: a favorite of his, and now we're Sammy, he's working
• 58:54
  Speaker 2: r Oh. I don't know. I don't follow ro Oh.
• 58:59
Speaker 2: It's it's like once you start to get behind some
• 59:02
Speaker 2: of these guys, whether it's due to injuries or lack
• 59:05
Speaker 2: of being used, Miro Wardlow, Scorpio Sky, Samy Cavara, and
• 59:11
Speaker 2: then they disappear. It's crazy. I mean, I never would
• 59:15
Speaker 2: have thought that Scorpio Sky or Sammy Cavara or Wardlow
• 59:19
Speaker 2: four years ago would not be on AW television potentially
• 59:23
Speaker 2: in top level feuds right now. And then maybe the
• 59:26
Speaker 2: part of the reason why you can't really get behind
• 59:28
Speaker 2: some guys like a Kyle Fletcher or trust in the
• 59:31
Speaker 2: process at the upper card of AW because they may come,
• 59:35
Speaker 2: they may go, and sometimes it's warranted due to attitudes,
• 59:39
Speaker 2: maybe like with Samy Cavara, which has been reportedly said
• 59:42
Speaker 2: or it's because of injuries. But the thing is that
• 59:44
Speaker 2: AW doesn't tell you when people are injured. They'll run
• 59:48
Speaker 2: something where like Scorpio Sky is up in a skybox
• 59:50
Speaker 2: during collision watching a match, and then I don't see
• 59:53
Speaker 2: Scorpio Sky on my television for another five months. So
• 59:58
  Speaker 2: I don't know that's Trey. It's it's bizarre. I know
• 1:00:02
Speaker 2: there was a ton of feedback online last week when
• 1:00:04
Speaker 2: we talked about the AW coverage, and I just want
• 1:00:07
Speaker 2: to like clear that up a little bit. I think
• 1:00:09
Speaker 2: people think that we're not going to talk about AW
• 1:00:11
Speaker 2: at all anymore, and that's that's not the case. We
• 1:00:14
Speaker 2: certainly talking about on this week's show. It's just a
• 1:00:17
Speaker 2: matter of like how close we watch the n ring product.
• 1:00:19
Speaker 2: I think when there's news ring news items that is
• 1:00:24
Speaker 2: coming up, it's going to be something that is we're
• 1:00:27
Speaker 2: going to be watching like newsworthy items. But I mean
• 1:00:31
Speaker 2: maybe in twenty twenty five, sitting here and going let's preview,
• 1:00:34
Speaker 2: predict Revolution, let's recap and review Revolution, I don't know
• 1:00:38
Speaker 2: if we're going to do that in twenty twenty five,
• 1:00:40
  Speaker 2: essentially because I don't know if they're a company that
• 1:00:43
Speaker 2: warrants it anymore. And like I said, I watch AW.
• 1:00:46
Speaker 2: I watched Rampage Collision in Dynamite this past week. There
• 1:00:50
Speaker 2: are parts that are very entertaining, but overall, it's like
• 1:00:52
Speaker 2: this is not as entertaining as we right now and
• 1:00:55
Speaker 2: it's showcasing the viewership. So I just want to clear
• 1:00:59
Speaker 2: that up a little bit because people we're like, if
• 1:01:00
Speaker 2: you guys stop talking about AW, you know, I don't
• 1:01:02
Speaker 2: know if I'm going to listen or anything like that.
• 1:01:04
Speaker 2: And it's like that's not the case, Like they like
• 1:01:05
Speaker 2: us here being critical of both wing AW when it's
• 1:01:08
Speaker 2: warranting and praising it when it's warranted as well. I
• 1:01:11
Speaker 2: think just think we may change things up a little
• 1:01:14
Speaker 2: bit because it's like twenty nine pay per views we're
• 1:01:16
Speaker 2: covering each year and we're not being able to have
• 1:01:19
Speaker 2: these types of conversations anymore. So that's kind of my
• 1:01:22
Speaker 2: perspective about Doctor Trey, I know, kind of wrapping up
• 1:01:25
Speaker 2: the stuff with Tony Kahan and then our conversation on
• 1:01:27
Speaker 2: last week's show. But that's kind of like my vibe
• 1:01:29
Speaker 2: on AW overall right now.
• 1:01:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we still have to pay attention to AW.
• 1:01:35
Speaker 3: I don't know if it warranted warrants in depth, deep
• 1:01:39
Speaker 3: dive coverages in this stuff. I mean we could recap
• 1:01:42
Speaker 3: an AW pay per view, like, hey, so we did
• 1:01:44
Speaker 3: the previews and preditions. Doctor Trey went thirty seven and
• 1:01:47
Speaker 3: two on this show and I went thirty nine and one,
• 1:01:52
Speaker 3: what's your review rating match of the night, and not
• 1:01:55
Speaker 3: have to go match by match, But yeah, I mean
• 1:01:58
Speaker 3: we have to pay at ten attention to it just
• 1:02:00
Speaker 3: so that way when big stuff does come up, we're
• 1:02:03
Speaker 3: knowledgeable of the situation. Like one thing that I pride
• 1:02:08
Speaker 3: ourselves on is even you know, like I I now
• 1:02:12
Speaker 3: have connections into all three major companies, and if you
• 1:02:16
Speaker 3: start showing throwing in some of the super indies, I
• 1:02:18
Speaker 3: know guys there as well. So I pay attention to
• 1:02:22
Speaker 3: all of it, just because I have friends everywhere and
• 1:02:25
Speaker 3: all of this stuff, and I don't want us to
• 1:02:28
Speaker 3: turn into that that podcast, whereas just two guys who
• 1:02:32
Speaker 3: you know, do talk hot takes on stuff just based
• 1:02:36
Speaker 3: on what they're reading from from dirt sheets. Like yeah,
• 1:02:40
Speaker 3: I still I'll still watch AW if something piques my interest.
• 1:02:44
  Speaker 3: And that's how I am now, It's how I've been
• 1:02:45
Speaker 3: for a while. If there's something going on where I'm like, oh,
• 1:02:48
Speaker 3: I got to see that. Oh I gotta seehere that's going. Yeah,
• 1:02:51
Speaker 3: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go look it up. But
• 1:02:54
Speaker 3: just the sheer volume of AW Wrestling and it being
• 1:02:57
Speaker 3: a bad television product, that's like telling me I have
• 1:03:00
Speaker 3: to sit through Dumb and Dumber two three times a
• 1:03:04
Speaker 3: week like that. There's no way I would do it
• 1:03:07
Speaker 3: without being in a drug induced coma. So there are
• 1:03:11
Speaker 3: things about AW that I like. There's a lot of
• 1:03:13
Speaker 3: things right now that I feel are out of out
• 1:03:16
Speaker 3: of whack, and that kind of leads me away from
• 1:03:18
Speaker 3: watching the product. But it's no different now than it
• 1:03:20
Speaker 3: was in twenty eleven. Word to the show, and I
• 1:03:24
Speaker 3: hated watching WWE because the show was got awful. Back then,
• 1:03:28
Speaker 3: I was doing kind of cursory overviews and paying more
• 1:03:31
Speaker 3: attention to the Tnas of the world because I thought
• 1:03:33
Speaker 3: they had a better product at the time. So it's
• 1:03:36
Speaker 3: it's I don't will never completely take our feet out
• 1:03:40
Speaker 3: of the AW waters just you know, right now, I
• 1:03:43
Speaker 3: just have a pinky toe in Yeah.
• 1:03:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's that because we were rooting them on
• 1:03:49
Speaker 2: all right, Well, that said, let's close up shop on
• 1:03:51
Speaker 2: this week's edition show and get a couple plugs and sponsors.

• 1:04:28
Speaker 3: Be sure check out rock A City Championship Wrestling. We
• 1:04:31
Speaker 3: just had our eight year anniversary show this past Saturday.
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: Really cited that first and first part of January.
• 1:04:38
  Speaker 3: I don't know the exact date because I don't have
• 1:04:40
Speaker 3: a calendar from me, but the rock A City Rumbles
• 1:04:42
Speaker 3: Coming Back Up, which is my absolute favorite show of
• 1:04:45
Speaker 3: the year that we do looking forward to that one.
• 1:04:48
Speaker 3: Check out Spartan Championship Wrestling. Those guys do a great
• 1:04:50
Speaker 3: show as well. And most importantly, pay no attention to
• 1:04:56
Speaker 3: the pre agency period because the Yankees pretty much sign
• 1:05:00
Speaker 3: everybody in my Cubs get nobody.
• 1:05:02
Speaker 2: They'll make some trades the Cubs and the Yankeys have
• 1:05:05
Speaker 2: not signed everybody. Well, you've only signed like one person.
• 1:05:08
Speaker 3: If you guys, get Cody Bellinger from us after letting,
• 1:05:11
Speaker 3: Anthony Rizzo goes like, you guys, get my favorite Cub
• 1:05:13
Speaker 3: player and then you get rid of him and then
• 1:05:15
Speaker 3: go get my next favorite Cup player somehow.
• 1:05:17
Speaker 2: You guys, you guys may get Kyle Tucker.
• 1:05:21
Speaker 1: That's true. If we get Kyle Tucker, I'll trade off Cody.
• 1:05:23
Speaker 2: Bellingcher for Kyle Tucks see and I want Kyle Tucker
• 1:05:26
Speaker 2: and Cody Bellinger. But that's neither here, no there. So
• 1:05:30
Speaker 2: there you go. Support all the great things that support SRTU.
• 1:05:32
Speaker 2: And then more importantly, we are now entering holiday programming schedule.
• 1:05:36
Speaker 2: For those that have been longtime listeners, this is the
• 1:05:38
Speaker 2: time of the year where Doctor Trey and I put
• 1:05:40
Speaker 2: a lot of shows in the can and take a
• 1:05:41
Speaker 2: little bit of time off recoup, get ready for the
• 1:05:45
Speaker 2: road to Wrestle Mendia forty one, which is right around
• 1:05:47
Speaker 2: the corner, and it all begins. Next week was next
• 1:05:51
Speaker 2: week show. On the nineteenth, we will do our twenty
• 1:05:53
Speaker 2: twenty four wrestling recap special. Doctor Trey hates that episode
• 1:05:56
Speaker 2: because we open up the vault from the first show
• 1:05:58
Speaker 2: of this year and go back and listen. Doctor Trait said,
• 1:06:01
Speaker 2: he sounds like Kermit the Frog.
• 1:06:02
Speaker 1: Hich hoel kirmitty frog.
• 1:06:04
Speaker 2: Here, there you go, there is the Kermit the Frog compression.
• 1:06:07
Speaker 2: In two weeks is our twenty twenty four SRT Award
• 1:06:10
Speaker 2: So Special on December twenty six, and then we kick
• 1:06:13
Speaker 2: off twenty twenty five on January second with our twenty
• 1:06:16
Speaker 2: twenty five Wrestling Preview special. So that'll be all taking
• 1:06:18
Speaker 2: place in the next three weeks. I think we're gonna
• 1:06:21
Speaker 2: try to jump in here and give you our predictions
• 1:06:23
Speaker 2: for aw World Zen. If not, we'll post them up
• 1:06:27
Speaker 2: on Facebook and on on x SO. With that being said,
• 1:06:30
Speaker 2: thank you for downloading the show, Thank you for making
• 1:06:32
Speaker 2: us part of your week. Check us out now for
