- 6:56[SPEAKER_15]: Lots of things going on today, you know?
- 6:59[SPEAKER_15]: what we had a full show yesterday didn't we uh... everything from the uh... got three case out west which is fascinating people here in the north i know it's not local news but boys that sheriff dumb out there i don't like to say that could somebody else say you're not back in the blue that sheriff is dumb to those press conference wow that's something uh...
- 7:23[SPEAKER_15]: I see the Barclay Lad, remember when Ted Ford coined the phrase, the Barclay Lad and it costs Will Barclay a Senate seeding in sterile poverty.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_15]: He's not gonna run for reelection.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_15]: I think he might be running for the Lieutenant Governor with verse Blakeman, it's a pit-pied, you know, a strong candidate.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_15]: Will Barclay's a smart guy, no state government.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_15]: He could candidate, upstate.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_15]: Not gonna win, but you know, what the hell?
- 7:47[SPEAKER_15]: I'll do things going on.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody sent me.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know, I know we're not supposed to talk about competing media here, but I think that fellow who runs those some online stuff at the market I'm opposed to whatever.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_15]: He claims to have filed a foil request with the city to get the body can video from milligate.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_15]: And we'd love to see it.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, we've read all the sworn statements and everything now, not very flattering to milly.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_15]: makes a look like a shrew.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, who hasn't been tamed.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_15]: A lot of people's, they're not everybody.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_15]: There's a lot of milly supporters out there online.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_15]: When you read a, why would the city get in the middle of this Facebook barrage?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_15]: This isn't the hotline quote stirring the pod.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_15]: This was handed to us.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, the city stirred the pod by issuing that ticket to her.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_15]: But anyway, that's their right to do so.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_15]: They're the ticket writers of the way they can write tickets so whoever they want, ticket, ticket.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_15]: And I don't know.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_15]: That's what they can do.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_15]: They have a right to.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_15]: And apparently it was that guy who calls the show here that a lot of people don't like who submitted the, well, well, they're not going to give that to him.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_15]: He kidding me.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_15]: But I guess it said, after reviewing your request, we must respectfully deny access to the records of this time, pursue it to New York public officers' laws, which permits an agency to deny access.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_15]: This is kind of like the reductions in the Epstein files, right?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_15]: We come, we come, the records that are compiled for law enforcement purposes and which if disclose would interfere with law enforcement investigations or judicial proceedings.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_15]: I'm not a lawyer, not a cop.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_15]: But if it's just a violation, there's no trial for that.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_15]: So there's no evidence it has to be submitted.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_15]: So we just want to see the body camp video just to, yeah, so we can pick on Milley some more, right?
- 10:01[SPEAKER_15]: No, no, I don't care.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_15]: But you know, there's some people out there who don't like Milley and they're reveling in this.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_15]: There's other people who like Milley and think it's outrageous.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_15]: But I don't know, it depends on what you think.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_15]: Some people think it shouldn't be in the news.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_15]: I'd like to, who's the guy who was choking?
- 10:23[SPEAKER_15]: I'm glad he recovered, but shouldn't we know who that is?
- 10:26[SPEAKER_15]: Shouldn't they be interviewed?
- 10:27[SPEAKER_15]: That person?
- 10:30[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_15]: I just think so, I don't know, man.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_15]: That'd be a good John Moore interviewer.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, good day on the market today.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_15]: The down was up 1980s, that's good.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_15]: It's a golden age in America.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_15]: I'm telling it's a golden age.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_15]: Get used to it.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_15]: Must have been some good economic news today.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know what it could be, but there must have been some.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_15]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, they're coming up with all sorts of, well,
- 11:09[SPEAKER_15]: We want to talk about Millie or what we want to talk about to Nancy Guthrie, who I think they're both fascinating cases in their own way.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_15]: Now, what's to deal?
- 11:24[SPEAKER_15]: As far as Millie Smith, you get the headline, former school board member, like so what?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_15]: She was a year on a school board, what's that got to do with anything?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_15]: Anybody else gets a ticket for something like this that wouldn't even be in the paper?
- 11:37[SPEAKER_15]: because you've been on the school board for one year, it's a big deal.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_15]: Anyway, so I don't mind that.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, look at that.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, they have in the past and will in the future have their way with me, too.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_15]: Fortunately, I got a microphone to fight back.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_15]: So, but anyway, I just don't get it.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_15]: And the city was put now.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_15]: It's statements, jesterity and everything else.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_15]: Why not?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_15]: Where's the police chief?
- 12:06[SPEAKER_15]: Why can't he come out and defend his officers?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_15]: And tell us what a shrew mili is, mm-hmm.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_15]: It's funny because I heard all the, you know, every account I had had of the incident was the guy lived and everybody was happy, but I guess everybody isn't happy.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_15]: Not down on the third floor, they're not.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_15]: Not on the third floor.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_15]: I'm gonna go pick up a prescription but I forgot it can't because it's lunch time at 10 a.m. at one o'clock only.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_15]: How?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_15]: 755 for all 40 or somebody actually took the police documents from the milly ticket.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_15]: It's a ticket.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_15]: I don't even know is that an arrest?
- 12:55[SPEAKER_15]: It's just a ticket.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_15]: And this person ran it through chat GPT.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_15]: It wasn't all neither.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_15]: what's it say here.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_15]: According to it says here that EMTs and police were already on the scene and actively treating the patient when Miller Gross Smith inserted herself into the treatment, that's not the version I heard though.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, and this thing about a finger swab in somebody's mouth,
- 13:34[SPEAKER_15]: No, according to AI, she could be serious of professional misrepresentation.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_15]: Let's see, interference with emergency medical services.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_15]: Who's going to get involved with any of this anymore?
- 13:56[SPEAKER_15]: Now, the way it should work.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_15]: Because you know, we use the word first responder.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_15]: What's that mean?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_15]: Let's analyze that phrase, first responder.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_15]: The phrase consists of two words, first and responder.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_15]: Now, a man was in distress choking at a restaurant.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_15]: OK. Somebody responded.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_15]: This is before the police or anybody got there.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_15]: It says nothing to do with being not backing the blue.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_15]: In this case, I guess it was Millie Smith responded, along with some other people, there was some Fort Drum soldiers, other people who came to the assistance.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_15]: And I don't know who said to call 911, but the first, the real heroine, this is the person who called 911, because you know what?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_15]: If you haven't, hadn't called 911, there wouldn't be any cops, EMTs, or firemen there.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_15]: So let's give credit to the person who called 911.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_15]: They responded and they did it first, and if Millie went over and tried to do something, first, she was the first responder.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_15]: She's not on a government payroll being a first responder, but she responded first.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_15]: That doesn't take anything away from the job that EMT's cops and firemen did later, but I don't think all those people were there first, and then she tried to bull her way in.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_15]: That's not the way I heard it.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_15]: If I'm wrong.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_15]: I'm wrong, but me and the stocks and pummel me with rotten fruit or something, I don't care.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_15]: But this could, and did she really call herself a doctor?
- 15:34[SPEAKER_15]: Well, in a quick situation, if you're trying to say, I'm capable of providing medical care.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_15]: You might say that.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_15]: Well, no, I've got a degree in this and that, and a certification of it, no, you don't read your certification list.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_15]: And a lot of people don't know what a PA is, and so I'm, you know, I'm a doc.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_15]: And anybody who's been in the healthcare system, and I'm not here to get an arguments with physicians, but anybody who's been in the healthcare system knows that you're not likely to see a doctor very often, but she'll see PA's occasionally in our ends, all of us, and they do 90% of 95% of the work.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_15]: you go to a clinic or a short-weight thing like the one up the street, you can see a PA.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_15]: It's just the way it is in today's society.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_15]: But no, technically they're not.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_15]: Physicians and doctors.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_15]: But you know, Jill Biden called herself a doctor.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_15]: And I wouldn't want her sitting there dealing with a choking case.
- 16:34[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_15]: Boy, I just annoyed somebody.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_15]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_15]: So it's today if you want to talk about it.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_15]: We'll talk about it if you don't.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I don't know.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_15]: We've just got a couple of text in.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody said this crap right here is exactly why people don't help.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_15]: And what about their phones to record the event?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_15]: Would you have rather have had the people in the restaurant taping the man's demise and putting it on Facebook or somebody tried to help out?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody wants to know if I'm open president say I'll be doing the hotline president stay and yes we are open that day usual days eight a.m. to closing uh... i don't know why that's important that guy would never come over anyway and let's see i didn't read the officers statements and uh... i don't know what the thing i don't want to you know i come out i don't want to hate anybody i don't really know all these people
- 17:44[SPEAKER_10]: want to understand they're nice people they come from nice families why do we yet why do we have to be haters all the time but after doing around the air hey man how are you today yeah what's up hey nice nice little cautious way that you're stepping on this and I would we've everybody involved would appreciate it I myself I don't know anyone involved either just looking at the same reports that you are can you find anywhere who actually raised a complaint
- 18:13[SPEAKER_10]: you know push their rest for work we know that i assume it was the officer does it say that though right i didn't see it anywhere
- 18:23[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not understanding the whole situation.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I can't imagine three weeks after the fact he'd wake up one more time or so out this complaint.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_15]: There is something that doesn't ring true and where was it?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I'll tell you something, just because somebody out the public says I want somebody arrested doesn't mean they're arrested, there has to be some kind of
- 18:44[SPEAKER_10]: investigation or probe or determination you know district attorneys don't prosecute every case there's prosecutorial judgment police have judgment to they don't ticket every speeder you can you can hit someone and i can witness it but i can have you arrested for because you didn't harm me i'm not sure where this whole situation has come from you had mentioned is though you thought it was somewhat political i can't understand that at all you know she's
- 19:11[SPEAKER_10]: very vocal and involved with the school but I don't know how that would translate into you know a judge or the police department like issuing an arrest warrant after something like this has happened I'm I'm just cool as to how this is and I hate to say we had to bring in an outside source but I think we need to bring in an outside source to see why this happened in that in that time city council like well nobody now because the stories over I talked to the media this morning they said it's a one day story and it's
- 19:39[SPEAKER_15]: and uh... nobody's going to ask any more questions i mean they've talked to city council about this and that's where you've got that information that's only people can you know put up with something forward and you're not nobody at city council is going to raise this issue next month or next meeting you can trust me on that uh... and certainly there's going to be no questions ask on a third floor about it so uh... now it's it's done it'll go before the court judge so he needs will probably dismiss it
- 20:09[SPEAKER_15]: It's just a violation.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_10]: Reputation, you know, she may have been real well respected in the medical community.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_10]: May not of, I don't know, she wasn't really well-liked as far as like social media goes, but that is nothing to do with it.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_10]: But her reputation is dead.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_15]: I went there one time on a dog, but me and she was very nice.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not saying she's never met her.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_10]: I have no idea, but you know, I hear her on your show.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_10]: I hear her on Glenn show.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_10]: You hear her in the news.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_10]: very well known and now she's got a ding on her professional career I mean it's I don't think it ends the way you think it does I think it becomes very intense and very complicated it would be if I was involved in it I mean you just can't let things go like this do you think that this has some type of reflection the way it's now that
- 20:56[SPEAKER_10]: police, like, get ignored and are not people don't comply with them.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_10]: Do you think that's part of the, you know, well, I understand it here.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I know.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_15]: And what do you do in that situation?
- 21:06[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, like I said, I mean, normally in the rest of the country, we'd be watching video or the guy choking.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_15]: But fortunately, people came to his aid.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_15]: They were, they came first, they responded.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_15]: You know, then when the actual EMTs and police and fireman get there, you normally would just say, okay, like if somebody at the next table cut themselves with a steak knife and I'm sitting there.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_15]: Am I going to just sit there and pick another swigom or low?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_15]: Or am I going to maybe say, hey, why don't you call 911 and I'll put a table cloth on that and try to compress the wound until they get here and then when they get there
- 21:55[SPEAKER_10]: So if that, if that was the way the story went, I guess that would be there, but you're not an at your an average person, not a physician, and then what was reported, and I'm only done by what's reported, I'm not in the medical field, so I don't know at all, but what's been reported in the police report is that she was attempting to do a procedure that it's no longer done, no longer allowed, no longer standard.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_15]: Well, yeah, but I don't know about that, but I do know that you see you're not a medical person, but we all at some point in our lives.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_15]: have to be the first person to respond to somebody's situation, maybe a child, your kid falls down, you know, it's a sue-happy world, you know, anyone that would actually step out there, you got to say, you know, praises, you know, listen, I'd be just saying, miss, can I have another glass of Merlot, and these potatoes are cold or something?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_15]: I wouldn't get involved with it, no.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_10]: It's, well, I'm just saying, some of them's in the medical profession, you know, if they
- 22:54[SPEAKER_15]: What?
- 22:55[SPEAKER_15]: Let me ask you this.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_10]: There's a lot of involved that nobody knows.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_15]: What if there's had been Dr. Kimbeleving dinner and he interceded now maybe he's more measured in his tone, I don't know, but with this issue even come up, no, I don't know.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_10]: One thing, I mean, you go to a doctor, Austin, we all go to a doctor.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_10]: You know without a doubt that
- 23:20[SPEAKER_10]: An actual doctor is no longer the person that's in between you and your sickness, it's either a nurse practitioner or it's a PA. Those are the people that are in the field, those are the people that are most respected, those are the people that do the most work.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_10]: Not that a doctor isn't respected, but that's another step up that the average person who ever will build problems, you don't even see.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_10]: I've never seen my doctor, I've only seen the nurse practitioner, not on what, I'm pretty healthy.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I spent a hundred and thirty nine days in the hospital.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know how many doctors I saw.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe a couple when I was unconscious, but I didn't remember them, but I don't remember too many.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_10]: I bet you you saw nurses a lot more and you thought maybe in that line you might not see up the A, but, you know, the people that are in the field are the one they're supposed to be on.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_15]: Right, they're the ones, you know, they do the work.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_15]: They do the tough work and they're going to be commanded for it.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_10]: It's just right now in a police report that's on, you know, it's printed out for anyone to see without a camera or anything.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_10]: It states that she tried to do something that is no longer standard, no longer allowed.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_10]: So there's a bit that a herger character, you know, someone is someone going to not go to her now.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know that.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_15]: you know it's it's one of those situations where I don't investigation isn't going to stop what you think it is it wouldn't be if I was involved and and I'm well you've got to get I mean I don't know what he doctors or anything but I I do know up yeah I know a retired pa I'll ask him when I see him he's on vacation but uh... about this uh... putting a finger in your mouth or something if you're choking yeah I I never heard of it but I don't I don't do that for a living I can tell you without a doubt and I I've
- 24:52[SPEAKER_10]: I've had a choking class for babies, not for not for adults, but you do not under any circumstance put your hand in their mouth.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_10]: You just don't do it.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe maybe a technician that knows what their dozen goes in there with force that's like was done, but in a baby you do not under any circumstance.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_10]: It's clear as could be, you don't put your hand in that baby's mouth.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_15]: They're choking.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_15]: I want to see how big that piece of steak was.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_15]: I guess it was huge.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's too bad we don't have all of it on camera, now that everybody's okay, it'd be something interesting to see, but well, hey, I'm coming back.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_10]: that we don't know, but I don't think it ends the way you think it does.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_10]: I think this goes on, like it's a clip-only thing.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_10]: If you ever heard her to like step away from something, right now she's got to keep quiet, but as soon as this is over and done, you don't think this goes on, I would... Well, the day that she wants to come on, yeah, she'll be in here, you know, she has a...
- 25:41[SPEAKER_10]: I'm sure she'll be in there, and she'll probably be in there with the admires by supergloyer.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_10]: And let's really, what they're saying is that she was trying to do a procedure that didn't want, there's so many gray areas here that...
- 25:51[SPEAKER_10]: You can't see it.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_15]: Well, we don't know.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_15]: Different accounts.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, some people say that firemen were doing hymn like some people say she was.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_15]: Some people say somebody else was.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_15]: There were other people who tried to help.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_15]: I wish we somebody should go interview like the weight, the weighter, or somebody like that, about what happened.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_15]: Get a first hand account.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_15]: Not just what's on a piece of paper.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_15]: I mean,
- 26:20[SPEAKER_10]: If you are one of the few actual journalists and I'll give you that to is a compliment and you also have an inside a pizza I would guess that guy at see what I'm not there I don't know how it is much anymore I did you know I talked to the owner I I'm not sure which I don't know all the waitress is that well, but I'm sure I could go over there there would be nice at one of the guests that was with the person that choked that witness the whole thing would put their two cents and means they're listening to the hotline they'd give a call in
- 26:49[SPEAKER_15]: I'd love to I'd we'd love to hear a first-hand account.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_15]: Yes.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, and maybe the angry man calling gives his attention.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_15]: Bye now.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_13]: Great.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_13]: Super Bowl.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_15]: You too.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_15]: Bye now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_15]: But after doing your on the air.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, just I filed a request for that video and it was denied.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_13]: I think that does a disservice to the public.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_13]: I'm allowing that video to come out because now we have a lot of speculation out there.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_13]: People are taking sides.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, well, I hope you got somebody looked at the video before Okay, all of this.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know what you're dealing with somebody's reputation and career You know, and you're also dealing with the reputation of city government.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, look at I mean there's a lot of people out there who say back the blue back the blue But there's a lot of other people who say He's this is nonsense and I'm not making that up I understand you weren't there, but
- 27:48[SPEAKER_13]: What the information we have now, it looks like, whatever the incident was, that peeps, okay.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_13]: There was a cover story ran immediately over to you, and you put it out there that Millie was saving a life.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_15]: Well, what happened, Royce?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_15]: It showed up, no, the call came on, what's called crime radar.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_15]: It's a phone app that monitors 911 calls.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_15]: And so I knew there was a report of a medical or choking condition.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_15]: So I, and then somebody told me that, oh, I was talking to the owner.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_15]: And he said, yeah, there was a thing.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_15]: He wasn't there at the time.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_15]: And he mentioned that Millie was involved.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_15]: And it was instrumental in helping out.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_15]: So I, what did I do?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_15]: I called Millie Smith, she gave me a reversion of the story.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_15]: I, I didn't, when I wrote it up, I did.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_15]: I said nice things about everybody.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_15]: that everybody did a good team effort and uh... and uh... that course that that's all getting distorted now by my critics but okay was there any discussion of a disagreement between her and she did mention that he has she was uh... you know that the uh... officer was a very aggressive but that the officer in her words took charge and that needed to be done now well there's somebody got pushed to shove but it wasn't to all time i've been shoved before i don't
- 29:11[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I'm just saying the city needs the release, you know, because this is just the ticket.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_13]: This isn't like a miscommunity or felony where it'd be a big case here.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_13]: Just release the video, see.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, well, here's what the Mayo Clinic says about clearing the airway.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_15]: If you can see the object, reach a finger into the mouth to sweep out the object.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_15]: Never fingers sweep if you can't see the object.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_15]: You risk pushing the blockage deeper.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_15]: This is very risky.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_15]: about that the of a doctor versus being a PA yeah I mean it's kind of like a security guard saying I'm a cop not really you kind of do the same stuff but you're not right no I get it or whether that was just an easy I don't mean to be making excuses but in some ways that's an easy way of you know getting to the forefront letting people know that you're capable of doing this
- 30:13[SPEAKER_15]: because when you're in a medical situation, the distinction between a P.A.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_13]: and a doctor ain't that much and question, do we know who the judge is going to be my assume it's judge, do he need now was do he need appointed by compo or smith compo but she was elected in her own right last fall, so okay and uh...
- 30:40[SPEAKER_15]: is there any connections with the DA in the Smith or they hang out to well the mills in the Smith i'm not going to get it all these personal relationships i don't know what people are doing in their personal lives although i find it interesting and it's just interesting i wonder if there's going to be a camera crew at a court date i don't think they'll be a court date i don't think it'll be
- 31:11[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I think it'll be, well, first of all, first of all, well, no, first of all, her lawyer will argue for a postponement, which unless a judge really has something against you and I found that out, I mean, they'll grant that, usually.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_15]: So it'll get pushed down to road and then it'll just fade away.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, what are you going to do?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, it's a violation.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_15]: Now, the only thing you could do if you were a real
- 31:37[SPEAKER_15]: vindictive person is try to take that arrest report and use it against your professional with whatever agency licenses are but yeah that's what they like to do in water hate or count is good at that don't don't take up anything and hang it on you or the rest of your life right but as far as in court i doubt there's any i don't know i never heard of such a thing i mean what do you have find
- 32:03[SPEAKER_15]: it goes either way if it goes millies way or if it goes to the city's way well I really don't know millies way there's a lawsuit there is no lawsuit over everybody says there's a lawsuit nobody with doesn't it's no it's not a big you don't just go say I want to find a lawsuit that's not how it's done unless you can find some state agency like the AG or DHR one of these other people to
- 32:31[SPEAKER_15]: To do it for you, you're not going to have it.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_15]: It doesn't happen for free.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_15]: And just because your feelings are hurt doesn't mean you get money.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it doesn't.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_15]: I have my theories, but Well, you'll never see the video, so don't worry about it.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_15]: Okay?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not the only one doing it.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_13]: There's been several requests that were denied today.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_15]: Really?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, I wasn't the only one people hit me up today.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_13]: Look, I got my email too.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_13]: So if you were getting denied.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_15]: I didn't think people were that aggressive, but, you know, it's interesting.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_13]: Well, yeah, they're not going to... Kind of a big deal.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_13]: It's interesting.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_13]: This is the scoop.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_13]: What were it?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_15]: But I'm telling you it's not the scoop because it's done as far as media as of today.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_15]: It's a one day story.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_15]: No, it's not done.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_15]: Now, it won't be done on Facebook.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_15]: Well, the mean girl, there was some stuff last night.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_15]: Everybody says, I stir the pop moldy cow on Facebook.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_15]: This guy wrote up this really long article about it.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_15]: You've seen the police reports and had graphics made up and everything.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_15]: Listen, I mean, no, it's not going to die in social media, but in conventional old media, they're done with it.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_15]: Until that video comes out, it's not coming out.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_15]: just suppress it.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_13]: Well, the law is that it needs to be released and you can't how you can beat that.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know, but remember the thing about, you know, when the mayor got a ride in a police car, that took a year to get it.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_13]: What about the one where he got pulled over?
- 34:24[SPEAKER_15]: That was never, well, no, that was never, that was never released.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_15]: I'm not, not that interested in it, really.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_15]: You know, people get pulled over.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, he was the Smith seems to have the thing they think.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_15]: Listen, I got pulled over a month ago on Arsenal Street.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_15]: I was driving too fast.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_15]: It was my fault.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_15]: And he said, slow down, I went on my way.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I had no intention, I didn't, I didn't form criminal intent when I got up that morning.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_15]: And I frankly don't think Millie Smith formed criminal intent in her when she decided to go to dinner.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_15]: She was just going to dinner.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_15]: And she should get a free dinner for this.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_15]: i don't know if there is any video i don't i'm not sure i would you know and you don't have to do that it's privately owned video if you have video and not everybody has it so i don't know what his situation the mail he's running for school is the hero school board big deal no big deal she's the hero she would she should want this video out yeah
- 35:36[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I don't know.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_15]: They don't water on school board.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_15]: I know that.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, listen.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_15]: I got a run, okay?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_14]: You know?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks, by now.

- 43:26[SPEAKER_09]: We just don't say it often enough.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_09]: The news in talk authority.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_09]: WATN.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_09]: All right, well, 40.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, okay, one...
- 43:39[SPEAKER_15]: Here we are.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_15]: What do we got?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_15]: Anything else in the news?
- 43:42[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_15]: I got my picture on news, chunky.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_15]: That's good.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't think anybody said anything controversial today.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_15]: So we don't have to worry about that.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, this weekend's the democratic state convention he said well, what's that all about well, I didn't hear anything on the new you won't don't worry but being held in Syracuse and it's uh... democrats mall over the state will be nominating uh... there uh... or designating candidates for statewide office
- 44:18[SPEAKER_15]: It's all done on weighted vote based by a set based on assembly district.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_15]: So obviously, how many votes were cast for the Democratic candidate last time.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_15]: Obviously, the bulk of the weighted votes are in areas like Brooklyn and stuff.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_15]: It's widely expected that Governor Hockel will overwhelmingly be selected as the designation of the party, getting not just 50% of the vote, but probably over 75.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_15]: And that'll force challenger Antonio Delgado who's currently Lieutenant Governor to run
- 44:46[SPEAKER_15]: via petitions, you know, I don't know, depends on where you live, but you got an interesting Republican primary for Congress in the 21st.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_15]: But otherwise, if you're interested in this democratic primary for governor, nowadays, it goes of Andrew Cuomo, you can change your registration right now and be eligible to vote in the Democratic primary.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_15]: It doesn't mean you won't be invited to the cocktail parties in the right places, or there's no Christmas party on panic street anymore.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_15]: So you don't have to worry about that.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_15]: But if you want to vote in that primary between Hulkel and Delgado, now the other candidates
- 45:27[SPEAKER_15]: Obviously, Adrian, my goodness, I forgot her last name.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_15]: Anyway, she's some queens.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_15]: Adams is her last name.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_15]: I'm sorry, Adrian Adams, very apologized, man.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_15]: So, all of this latest thing in Washington, there was a video for training the White House.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody put out that the White portraying the White House or the Obama's is eight.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_15]: And that is gone.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_15]: He said, no, I was stupid of people.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_15]: I was stupid of people.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody sent me a message, Sonny Jergens and died today.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I'll form a rescue and squirt her back back in the day.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_15]: My football was football.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_15]: If you wanted to do a push push, you could, and you didn't have these cissified referees, calling everything in under the sun, yeah.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_15]: Now, somebody texted me that there is video from the restaurant.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_15]: I'll, I'll, I'll check with the restaurant.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_15]: That's not public domain.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_15]: You can't foil that.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_15]: So it's nobody's business.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_15]: And, but if they want to show it to me, if there is video, we'll look at it.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody texted, and this is about the equivalent of a parking ticket.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_15]: A violation is, yeah, it's really not.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_15]: I think they wanted to, like, pull a chain
- 46:54[SPEAKER_15]: Calm down.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_15]: Calm down.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_15]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon man, are you happy Friday?
- 47:04[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, you too.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_07]: No, that's good.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_07]: The other previous caller.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_07]: You know, he seemed like he already had his opinion for him.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_07]: But he went all the way.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_07]: We found things to get body footage and stuff.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_07]: Like it's a one day story.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_07]: It's nothing.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_07]: like it means, you know, the lady tried to help so much.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it means a lot to her, I think, because, you know, whenever they're making a bad mouth and they're basically, yeah, and they won't decide to go, you know, I mean, you know, maybe when he's laid down their token, maybe, uh, I'll sit there and watch, you know, instead of trying to, yeah, I call Joe Stanley or sign, yeah, I would call Joe Stanley before I call 911, you know.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't know, but I just, I, I, these guys weren't by the camera footage and they went stop, you know, then he's like, oh, she shoved an officer, yeah, well, who's that?
- 48:04[SPEAKER_07]: So, and whatever, and if it was, it was just like, you know, when somebody's in the instant, and then I don't want to, like, there's someone's going on in the world, but like, it's a, it's the yesterday story.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_07]: But when these guys keep bringing it up, and they ran, and ran, and ran, and they want to put it, and they want to video.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I mean, there are, there are, there are some food.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, but no, no, there are some people who are inquisitive.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_15]: They want to,
- 48:30[SPEAKER_15]: continue to pursue the story.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, just because it's a one-day story for old media doesn't mean there aren't people interested.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, you could get, like I said, I saw some stuff on Facebook last night that was pretty complete reporting and with graphics and everything and it's nothing to do with me.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_15]: I don't make that stuff up.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_15]: I have nothing to do with nosy neighbors or crime radar or anything else.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_15]: This stuff is out there and that's where people get their news these days.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_15]: say it.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_15]: I mean it's the way it is.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_07]: No, yeah, that's why John Moore's smart and retired.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_15]: The industry's going over it.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_07]: It's I don't have anything into it.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_07]: There's nothing around mine to the city.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_07]: I can't even roll in the city.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it doesn't matter.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't matter.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't even live in the city, but he runs the city, but I can't go down the city council and say it's up up the city that it work in, you know what I mean?
- 49:23[SPEAKER_07]: like it's just it's just way it is, but just way it is.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well, it's like I like to drive on a road every day and say, well, I would really like this money going to this, but the county and they get grants from, you know, all kinds of grants.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what they're trying to throw at the zoo now for more grants, but, you know, that comes out of New York State taxpayers' apartments that comes out of mine.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean like that mean it's all I don't have to I think at my age I'm gonna just stop filing.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_15]: I'm done with them.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_07]: Oh Yeah, well, yeah, would he had what are you gonna do a name on a lot of you?
- 50:05[SPEAKER_15]: They catch up to you five years You know what it's it's like driving without a license.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_07]: They can't take your license away Yeah, Jeff you you probably the guy would do it to my some of my friends are not mentioning names But they're like apples
- 50:22[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I'm I think I'm gonna go start an illegal football pool today or something.

- 50:31[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_07]: I got some squares and I'm not gonna mess with where I want.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_07]: No, I wouldn't want you to No, I know but getting ways I get date.

- 51:08[SPEAKER_15]: Will it, her actions was a long post.

- 55:36[SPEAKER_15]: You're on the air.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_13]: Well, Mary, you know what?
- 55:39[SPEAKER_13]: This sounds like a copycat.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_13]: And what's happening to you years ago when you were a little outspoken about the fire and the police you ended up with a ticket for snow on your license plate.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it's a long time ago.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_13]: It doesn't matter, it sounds like Millie who is outspoken who tells everybody what she wants is getting railroaded.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_13]: Something's up, somebody's pushing it.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_13]: Just like, you know, that was a big deal.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_13]: Back then, when they gave you that ticket.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_15]: Oh yeah, I didn't get a ticket, I didn't.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_15]: you know they were looking for more and there wasn't anything there so uh... try to see your outspoken you got it to so it sounds to know you're three folks man thank you well who's a story about how you really got to be careful uh... when other people are in your care in ratches are greased new york
- 56:41[SPEAKER_15]: got three people charged with a felony uh... and apparently up up there sixty-eight-year-old man died as a result of a fairly fell in a try to make a look like he had fallen outside and uh... and apparently found out that that isn't it and the guy had and too much to do you know that's a tough thing you got a couple people off i've over forty plus years i've got a lot of people off but you know you can do it right
- 57:10[SPEAKER_15]: 10,000 times, and the 10,000 first time, something goes wrong, and you're the bad guy.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_15]: It's just the way life is.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_15]: And you know, who knows what Millie's done in her life?
- 57:21[SPEAKER_15]: He'll be the sixth.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_15]: She's kind of like the Florence Nightingale of Watertown.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_15]: And, you know, I don't know if she offended the wrong person that day, I guess.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_15]: But we'll see.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_15]: We will see.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_15]: Some people say it was a cat fight.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know if I, you know, it's supposed to say that, you know.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, let's see.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_15]: When I just got another text message from somebody, um, somebody else texted everyone is so proud of having female cops.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_15]: I doubt a male cop would be so sensitive.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know if that's the case.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_15]: Listen, I'm proud of the ones we have.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_15]: And one of the male or female, I think it's good that there's opportunities for female cops.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_15]: In fact, I don't know, it should be really made an issue of.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_15]: But people will, yeah, it's like people who call merely a shrew, now that's not fair.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I wouldn't call it that.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_15]: But I'll see if we got here.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_15]: I guess that's it.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_15]: We've got a minute left if you want to call in.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_15]: I have a comment on any topic on your mind.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_15]: We want to thank Millie Smith for filling up two shows.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, and we can't wait till she's free to talk on the air so she can talk more.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_15]: But any other viewpoints, city officials, if they want to come on Monday, they can come on.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_15]: They're always welcome.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_15]: Then all of that stuff.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know what was on Glenn show on.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_15]: I got to talk to Glenn later.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_15]: See if he had any.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_15]: And he calls on this topic.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_15]: But certainly it's a bit on the mind of you folks and why not?
- 59:11[SPEAKER_15]: Why not?
- 59:12[SPEAKER_15]: All right, were you off a good weekend?
- 59:13[SPEAKER_15]: It's going to be very cold, colder than not whatever.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_15]: And you know, keep the pets in, the older people, the kids, be careful with everything.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_15]: And you know, we just got to tough it out.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_15]: Got to ways to go.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_15]: But you're going to have some mornings where it's like 15 below this weekend.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_15]: And that's a little harsh to deal with.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_15]: It is 25, 26 right now.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_15]: So it's a nice day out there.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_15]: Don't get me wrong.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_15]: But tomorrow, the high, I'll be 20 in that drops all day.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_15]: The nater will be around Sunday and morning or so on 15 below.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_15]: So, and then nothing really great for next week.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_15]: We're going to be below normal for this time of year all next week too.
