- 0:20Speaker 2: track application for a new gold and antimony mine near reefton.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Urua Gold is hoping to start mining by twenty twenty eight.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Also looking at cross listing on the insidex and Simon
- 0:28Speaker 2: DeLanda is the gold vice is the vice president there
- 0:30Speaker 2: high Simon.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Hey, Heather, how are you good?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Now it sounds to me like sefair amount of gold
- 0:35Speaker 2: in there, is it? How does it rate internationally in
- 0:38Speaker 2: terms of a deposit.
- 0:41Speaker 3: This is a significant deposit for us at our organization.
- 0:45Speaker 3: So we've been exploring for the last five years and
- 0:48Speaker 3: we've now got sufficient gold and we're tgging around three
- 0:51Speaker 3: hundred thousand ounces to start to move into the fast
- 0:55Speaker 3: track process. So this is exciting for our investors, exciting
- 0:58Speaker 3: for the local community and we please have their training
- 1:01Speaker 3: to talk to you about it today.
- 1:02Speaker 2: You're going after the antimony as well?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Absolutely, we are. Yeah. So that's a strategic mineral and
- 1:08Speaker 3: there's a lot of interest, particularly in the central government
- 1:11Speaker 3: and overseas Japan and the US in antimody's supply and
- 1:15Speaker 3: security that supply.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll tell you what I'm fascinated by is I
- 1:18Speaker 2: can't seem to get across. I can't seem to find
- 1:21Speaker 2: anything on how much of these critical minerals we have
- 1:23Speaker 2: in the ground in New Zealand. Do you have any idea?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Look, I couldn't speak for the whole of New Zealand,
- 1:28Speaker 3: but certainly we've got a significant depositive antimony and there's
- 1:33Speaker 3: a lot of antimony around the reefed and golf how
- 1:35Speaker 3: much coast So yeah, so we're talking about mining around
- 1:41Speaker 3: about twelve thousand tons per year over an eight year period,
- 1:44Speaker 3: and that's probably half a billion dollars worth of antimity
- 1:48Speaker 3: in that range.
- 1:49Speaker 2: How do you feel about Trumpy's Critical Minerals trading block?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Then I look for us, we've been working on this
- 1:57Speaker 3: for a period of time, and you know that the
- 2:00Speaker 3: minerals it's a free market if you will, so that
- 2:03Speaker 3: they'll pick that up and likely want to talk to
- 2:06Speaker 3: the central government around getting access to those minerals. We've
- 2:09Speaker 3: been talking to a number of potential off take partners
- 2:12Speaker 3: who are interested in that antimony. A lot of interest
- 2:14Speaker 3: in antimody, probably more so than the gold to be honest,
- 2:16Speaker 3: but obviously golds at a high record high at the
- 2:19Speaker 3: moment as well.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Good stuff, mate, beast of luck with it in the
- 2:21Speaker 2: fast tracking that Simon DeLanda Ruer, Gold Vice President.
