- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 253 of the All Systems Go Sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:29I'm your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:37Happy Wednesday. We are halfway through our work
- 0:40week. Hump Day, of course, as the
- 0:43early portion of April rolls on here, guys, and we got a lot to
- 0:46get to on today's podcast. I wanted to get it out a little
- 0:49bit earlier than usual today because we have a ton, a ton, a
- 0:53ton, a ton of Major League Baseball, including a lot of day
- 0:56sweats. So there's a couple games in
- 0:58particular early on that I'm getting down on.
- 1:00So I want to make sure you guys can get the information and
- 1:02decide to play them or not. Totally up to you, but you know
- 1:05that I will be sweating these ones.
- 1:07But overall, guys, right back to MLB.
- 1:09I have a 5 pack of plays for you today, including four money
- 1:12lines and one total. The total little Deja vu,
- 1:16hopefully in terms of a total that we were able to cash last
- 1:19night, I'm going right back to the well for today.
- 1:22Now, before we dive in, looking back toward last night, guys,
- 1:25you know sometimes you know when you have a winning night, you
- 1:27can't complain. Let me just get that out there
- 1:29to start 3 and 2 + 0.28 units last night, had the Cubs come
- 1:34through, they're up. Then they blew the lead.
- 1:36Then they poured it on late. Brewers got it done at Mile High
- 1:40and also our San Diego Athletics over 8 1/2 cashed in the first
- 1:45inning. That is very rare.
- 1:47I hope you guys don't don't expect to catch every total in
- 1:49the first inning. But once again, we saw that
- 1:52stadium, Sacramento Stadium over trend moving out of five and O
- 1:56to the over. More on that later.
- 1:58So three hits. But there are nights when you
- 2:01have a winning night and you can't complain, of course, but
- 2:03you feel like, man, it could have been an even bigger night.
- 2:06So our two losses last night that are really frustrating.
- 2:09The most frustrating one I would say was was the Seattle
- 2:12Mariners. Mariners were sharp as attack.
- 2:14We saw that line really get steamed up in favor of Seattle.
- 2:17Remember, they opened as a dog flip to a favorite.
- 2:19It was pretty much a A11 game throughout.
- 2:22It went into extra innings and the Mariners had multiple
- 2:25opportunities where they they got out of it and the 10th and
- 2:28the 11th didn't give up a run, had multiple chances with men on
- 2:31to walk it off and win the game. Couldn't do it.
- 2:34And then of course, you know, when you, when you have, when
- 2:36you have those chances in extra innings and you don't
- 2:38capitalize, you almost know that like, hey, we missed our shot
- 2:41and, and you know, it's almost, you know, like you can, you can
- 2:43set your clock to it. The next half inning of the
- 2:45other team's going to score. So Mariners lost 2 to one again,
- 2:48could have walked it off, could not put a run across the the
- 2:52board, which is frustrating. The other one is the San
- 2:54Francisco Giants. I got to take a day off from the
- 2:57G men. I mean, they're running hot.
- 2:59One of the best records in baseball. 8 and one bet them two
- 3:02nights in a row and they scored a combined zero runs in the last
- 3:06two games. Again, lose 2, nothing.
- 3:09Lose 1, nothing. So talk about frustration there.
- 3:11But the Giants bats completely silent.
- 3:14So Giants, you're dead to me for now.
- 3:16I'll bet on you more throughout the year, but I need to break
- 3:18from the G men. But either way, guys, sometimes
- 3:21you'll have that. It's funny how sports betting
- 3:22works psychologically. It's such a, you know, emotional
- 3:26game. We try not to let our emotions
- 3:27seep in as data-driven betters. But there are nights when you go
- 3:303 and 2 + 0.28 units where you feel great, like maybe you're
- 3:34staring at a, you know, a one and four or a two and three or
- 3:38an O and five. You claw your way back and have
- 3:40a winning night. You feel good about it.
- 3:41Then there are nights where you go 3 and 2 + 0.28 units and you
- 3:44feel like, man, that's it. We should have had a better
- 3:47night than that, at least a four and one.
- 3:49I, I still can't get over the Mariners doing nothing
- 3:51offensively. But anyway, guys, we'll move on.
- 3:54Winning night will take it. And also, if you had followed my
- 3:58plays that I post to the Juice Reel app, which you can get for
- 4:02$4.99 a week, you may have put in the Celtics over 58 1/2 win
- 4:07total back in October because that one cashed last night,
- 4:11Celtics won at Madison Square Garden.
- 4:14Another money line short favorites because Celtics were
- 4:16-2 1/2 meaningless 3. They're late, they won by two.
- 4:19But I'm happy personally because I played Celtics over 58 1/2.
- 4:23Congrats and you know, great day for those of you who those of
- 4:26you who who put the put the over into, you know, maybe you forgot
- 4:30about or maybe you were sweating it late, but I've been sweating
- 4:32the Celtics over for quite a while and they really turned it
- 4:35on late to catch that over win total.
- 4:36So Congrats to all those who celebrate today, the Celtics
- 4:40over 58 1/2 wins. Anyway, without further ado, I
- 4:43tell you what guys, I just love the routine of baseball every
- 4:46day, and I I bet you do too if you're listening.
- 4:49So without without any more wasting of time, let's get right
- 4:52into it. 5 pack overall. You guys know the drill.
- 4:55Let's try to go three and two or better eke out another winning
- 4:58night. So first, but on the board for
- 5:00me, we're going right back to Wrigley Field. 2:20 PM Eastern
- 5:04Time, first pitch day sweat. Big reason why I wanted to get
- 5:06this pot out a little bit earlier today, but I'm looking
- 5:09at Rangers at cubbies. Let's set the stage here.
- 5:12Talk line movement system matches.
- 5:14I'll give you my play for this one.
- 5:16So going in it going into it, we got the Cubs 9:00 and 5:00 on
- 5:19the year. They've taken the first two
- 5:20games of this three-game series. They won 7 nothing and the
- 5:24opener is a -, 130 home favorite one for us last night 5:50 as
- 5:28well as a -, 160 home favorite. So pitching match up for this
- 5:31game. 2 pretty good pitchers with good, good, good stats
- 5:35here. Early portion of the year we
- 5:37have the Rangers who are 8 and 4 going with Tyler Mailee.
- 5:40He's one and O 1.35 ERA. Cubs are going to go with the
- 5:44lefty shota and managa 2 and O 0.98 ERA.
- 5:48So 2 good pitchers on the bump. What do we see across the market
- 5:51here? Will this game open with the
- 5:52Cubbies listed as around a -, 150 home favorite?
- 5:56Texas around a + 135 Rd. dog? And it's notable to me that the
- 6:00the wise guys are saying if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 6:02Let's continue to ride the Cubs. And that's exactly what I'm
- 6:05doing today. I'm going right back to Chicago.
- 6:07They open -150 they've now been steamed up to -165 You can still
- 6:12find -165 at BET MGM, but other books are as high as -170 - 175
- 6:17S as always, shop for the best number, which odds logic will
- 6:21always help you with oddslogic.com/josh 12347 a free
- 6:26trial and 50% off your first month.
- 6:28But just a quick way to find the best number with your odds logic
- 6:31live odds page again -165 at Bet MGM is currently still the best
- 6:36price on the cubbies. So aside from that, steam 15
- 6:39cent steam move in favor of the Cubs really good bet split at
- 6:42Circa out in Vegas. They basically the tickets are
- 6:45split 5050 on the money line, but 66% of money line dollars
- 6:50are on the Cubs. So public split, but heavy smart
- 6:53money, low bets, higher dollars on the cubbies.
- 6:55They're out in Vegas. Then we get to our system
- 6:58matches and there are a lot of matches on the Cubs.
- 7:00Home favorites this year continue to do well. 75 and 3767
- 7:05percent, 12% ROI. Non division home favorites with
- 7:08steam $0.10 or more 27 and 487 percent 43% ROI.
- 7:14This is the best performing system so far this year.
- 7:17Home favorites off a win, playing an opponent off a loss,
- 7:1939 and 1868 percent, 14% ROI. Interleague home favorites 34
- 7:25and 1274 percent, 25% ROI. And interleague Home favorites
- 7:30off a win, 29 and 878% this year, 32% ROI.
- 7:35So all those systems are lighting up on the cubbies.
- 7:38Cubs also have some correlative betting value.
- 7:40Favorite low total game. This line is obviously, you
- 7:43know, move toward Chicago, but you also saw this line fall at
- 7:46some shops. Some openers were around 8.
- 7:48Now you're down to 7 1/2. So line moving toward the
- 7:51favorite and down typically a good sign.
- 7:54Hopefully that bodes well for a favorite winning a low scoring
- 7:56game. But then also, I'm going to bank
- 7:59on the bats of Chicago. They're hitting 258 this year,
- 8:0294 runs scored. Texas is only hitting one, 9839
- 8:06runs scored. And in particular, a fate of the
- 8:09Rangers hitting 169 on the road this year, that's 29th in
- 8:13baseball. They only they're only hitting
- 8:15216 against lefties. That's 18th.
- 8:17And MLB. Also, it's another cold day at
- 8:20Wrigley Field. So the current forecast is like,
- 8:23you know, high 30s again, I'll continue to ride the the fact
- 8:26that Chicago is used to that weather, whereas Texas, you
- 8:29know, southern state, warm climate, indoor ballpark.
- 8:33Hopefully that bodes well for Chicago in favor of the Rangers.
- 8:36But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 8:38I'm going right back to Wrigley Field.
- 8:40You're welcome to join me. I got the cubbies -165 next one
- 8:44for you. I'm going to double dip on this
- 8:46one. The Padres and the not the
- 8:49Oakland Athletics, just the Athletics.
- 8:52It's always funny when you see like a live odds page or an
- 8:54abbreviation. It always used to be OAK Oak.
- 8:57Now it's Ath Athletics and I don't think anyone's calling
- 9:00them the Sacramento A's. They they will be the Vegas A's
- 9:03pretty soon. You know what?
- 9:04I can't wait to get back out to Vegas to see an A's game, and
- 9:08also I'd love to go to the sphere one day, except we've
- 9:11seen some pretty cool things in in when those concerts are
- 9:13played there. Anyway, let's talk about this
- 9:17one here. Interleague matchup, 3:35 PM
- 9:19Eastern Time. First pitch these interleague
- 9:22opponents. They split the first two games
- 9:23of this three-game series. The Padres, who are 9 and three.
- 9:26They took the opener 5 to 4 as a -, 155 Rd. favorite.
- 9:30The A's who are five and seven, they bounce back with a 3:50 win
- 9:33yesterday as a + 110 home dog. We're able to get that over for
- 9:37us, which was nice. So in this late afternoon series
- 9:40finale, we got the pods going with the ready Randy Vasquez.
- 9:43He's O 111.69 ERA this year. The A's on the flip side here
- 9:48are going to counter with the ready Osvaldo Beato.
- 9:51He's one and O with a 2.7 O ERA. So let's start first with the
- 9:54side pretty clear that big money is on the A's.
- 9:58This game actually opened the Padres around a -, 125 Rd.
- 10:02favorite. Basically the Athletics around
- 10:04plus 110 + 115 and it's completely flipped to now the
- 10:08A's -125 -, 130. So a huge dog to fave line move.
- 10:13Oakland did it again. Athletics open as a dog have now
- 10:17flipped to a favorite. Tells me a lot of big money has
- 10:19come in on the A's and that classic dog to fave reverse line
- 10:23move. And it is a reverse line move
- 10:25because 76% of money line bets are not on the A's, they're on
- 10:29the Padres. So if all this, you know, big
- 10:32portion of tickets, you know, three out of four bets.
- 10:34Drunk guys at the bar Hammer in San Diego.
- 10:36Yeah, San Diego. San Diego's a layup today.
- 10:39OK, then why is the line flipping so heavily in favor of
- 10:42the athletics? Tells me odds makers aren't
- 10:44concerned about the heavy public betting on the pods.
- 10:48They're going with the A's here in the spot.
- 10:50I did see Cronin I is it Cronin worth or no?
- 10:52Jackson Merrill got hurt so he's out of the lineup.
- 10:54Maybe that's partly why you're seeing this line go to the A's.
- 10:58But anyway, a lot of system matches on the A's.
- 11:00Home favorites 75 and 3767%. Non division Home favorites off
- 11:05a win Steam $0.10 or more 27 and 487% Interleague Home favorites
- 11:1034 and 1274%. Interleague favorites off a win
- 11:1429 and 878%. So a lot of those same systems
- 11:17that were on the Cubs are lighting up here on the
- 11:20Athletics. So I got to go with the A's in
- 11:22the spot. Just just slapping me in the
- 11:24face with the sharp dog to fave line move.
- 11:26I was able to get the A's a little bit earlier today -120
- 11:30now you're looking at around a -, 125.
- 11:32I'm also white walking the tightrope.
- 11:34And you know what? Out of principle, I got to play
- 11:36the over once again. It looks pretty sharp.
- 11:38This total opened as low as 9, but most for 9 1/2.
- 11:42Now it's up to 10, so it's not an 8 1/2 like we had last night.
- 11:46So we're going to need 11 runs or more.
- 11:48But I did, I was able to pick off over 9 1/2 -, 125 at ESPN
- 11:53bet a little bit earlier today. You can get those plays if you
- 11:56follow me, 499 a week with the Juice Reel picks page.
- 12:02But anyway, even if you don't get the 9 1/2, still over 10,
- 12:06I'll give it a shot. We have seen that movement
- 12:09toward the over the over has a really good split at DraftKings.
- 12:1251% bet, 78% dollars. It's going to be another nice
- 12:16day, 70° great temperature. It's also kind of fishy because
- 12:20both starters have really good eras, yet the total opened high
- 12:23and you only got bet even higher.
- 12:25So kind of fishy in favor of a higher scoring game.
- 12:28And then again, the over perfect five and O, that's that the
- 12:32Sacramento stadium this year. So if it ain't broke, don't fix
- 12:35it. I'm going to keep riding these.
- 12:36I know the odds makers are going to adjust.
- 12:38I was actually DM ING with a with a wise guy here.
- 12:43My my man, Mr. Tomlinson, Willie Tomlinson, and we were saying,
- 12:47Hey, we just got out of principle.
- 12:48Keep playing these overs. And he's like, oh, well, what if
- 12:50the odds makers adjust? I'm sure they are adjusting, but
- 12:54hey, let's keep riding it unless until it keeps winning.
- 12:58But anyway, I'm walking the tightrope.
- 12:59I got the over and I got so I got over 9 1/2 again.
- 13:03I'm still playing the over 10 if that's the only one available to
- 13:06you now, but then also go on the A's here.
- 13:08So let's get at least one. If the A's win. 4:50 Hey, we'll
- 13:12be very happy and that would be great if we could get both.
- 13:15Next one for you, Blue Jays and the Red Sox.
- 13:18You know me or maybe you don't, but I am on the Red Sox over win
- 13:21total this year. I'm on Red Sox over 85 1/2 wins.
- 13:25But I really haven't bet on them much this year.
- 13:27But I'm betting on them today, not just because I'm a Red Sox
- 13:30fan born and raised in New England, but because they look
- 13:33pretty sharp today and they match quite a few systems.
- 13:35And wait till I give you these bet splits anyway, Blue Jays are
- 13:38Red Sox, Blue Jays are 7 and 5, Red Sox six and six.
- 13:42The Blue Jays have taken the first two games of this
- 13:44three-game series. They won six to two and then
- 13:47they won six to one. There's actually a four-game
- 13:49set. So this is the the third of four
- 13:50games. But anyway, pitching match up in
- 13:53this one, we have the Jays going with Kevin Gozman veteran righty
- 13:57one and one 3.97 ERA. He'll be opposed by fellow
- 14:01righty Tanner Houck O and one 6.52 ERA.
- 14:05So what have we seen across the market here?
- 14:07Well, the movement is going toward the Red Sox.
- 14:09Red Sox open around -120 they've now been bet up to -130 So we
- 14:14have that $0.10 of steam lighting up here on Boston.
- 14:18I really like the bet splits on the Red Sox.
- 14:20If you look at DraftKings, 67% of money line bets 88% of money
- 14:25line dollars on Boston. And at Circa 57% bets 98% of
- 14:31money line dollars on Boston. So the Red Sox are getting a
- 14:33really good little bits higher dollar bet split at the National
- 14:36DraftKings book and the wise guy Desert book.
- 14:39Their circa Red Sox also match a few betting systems that I love.
- 14:44Home favorites this year, again, obvious chalky, but it's doing
- 14:47well. 75 and 3767 percent, 12% ROI home favorites off a loss.
- 14:53The bounce back system, 24 and 14 this year, 63 percent, 7%
- 14:58ROI. And then a system that we've hit
- 15:00on a few times this year, favorites looking to avoid the
- 15:04sweep. So if you've lost the first two
- 15:06games and you are a favorite in the third game, that system is
- 15:10145 and 8264 percent, 7% ROI since 2022.
- 15:15So a pretty good sample size there.
- 15:18Red Sox offense has been better than the Toronto Blue Jays
- 15:21offense, not in this series, but overall.
- 15:23Red Sox hitting 268 with 66 runs scored, 11 homers.
- 15:28Toronto hitting 264, only 47 runs scored with six home runs.
- 15:33Red Sox are slugging 416. Toronto's slugging 368.
- 15:37Also kind of fishy in terms of the pitchers.
- 15:41Like Gozman has been better than Tanner Houck. 3.97 versus 6.52,
- 15:46yet you're seeing a line move toward the guy with a higher
- 15:49ERA. So I actually have another game
- 15:50for you lined up. That's another perfect example.
- 15:53Like fishy. Doesn't make sense.
- 15:55Give me that fishy side, which is what I like to see.
- 15:58Also familiarity. Red Sox have faced Kevin Gozman
- 16:01a lot, so they've seen them before.
- 16:03Hopefully that bodes well for today.
- 16:06And then also a little bit of correlative betting.
- 16:09Technically, it's not but your favorite low total, you need 8
- 16:12or less. But this 8 1/2 is really juiced
- 16:15to the under and we have the line going toward the Red Sox.
- 16:17So the juicing up the under line moving toward the favorite.
- 16:20Typically that's a good sign for the favorite.
- 16:23But I am excited to sweat the Sox tonight.
- 16:25Yeah, I'll get my dunk. I'll get my dunks.
- 16:27Coffees with the Boston Red Sox, but I'm looking forward to it.
- 16:31I'm on Boston, I got the Sox earlier today -130 last bat of
- 16:36the night. And oh boy, does it look gross,
- 16:39which means I love it. Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta
- 16:42Braves, 7:15 PM Eastern Time, first pitch.
- 16:45Let's set the stage. Talk what's going on with this
- 16:48line because it's very interesting.
- 16:50Braves are two and eight. Awful start to the year, but
- 16:53they did win last night against the Phillies, 7:00 to 5:00 as a
- 16:56-, 115 home favorite. In tonight's rematch, the
- 16:59Phills, who are 7 and three, they're going to go with Taiwan
- 17:01Walker, the righty 1 and Oera of 0.
- 17:04And the Braves are going with fellow righty Grant Holmes.
- 17:07O and 1, ERA of 7.2 O. So what do we see across the
- 17:11market? Will this game open?
- 17:12Braves -120 at home? Philly plus 110 and the public
- 17:17says the wrong team is favored. You know, how do you not take
- 17:20Philly? A7 and three team getting plus
- 17:23110 + 115. That's what the public's doing.
- 17:26Nearly 2/3 of bets are going with Philly.
- 17:28I get it, good record plus money.
- 17:30How do you not take it? However, the betting market is
- 17:34telling a different story. Publix on Philly, 2/3 of bets,
- 17:38but the line is going to Atlanta.
- 17:40Atlanta opened -120 they're now up to -130 -, 135.
- 17:45I'm seeing some shops as high as -140 even -145 still available
- 17:50-135 Braves at Caesar's. So shop around for the best
- 17:54price. But why is the line going toward
- 17:56Atlanta when the public is pounding Philly?
- 17:59Again, dead giveaway here that smart money is going with the
- 18:01Braves. You know, we got to think of it
- 18:03this way. If Publix on Philly, why are the
- 18:06odds makers now giving you an even bigger, you know, plus
- 18:08money payout? They're not doing it because
- 18:10they're nice or charitable. They're doing it because they're
- 18:12taking in big money here on the Braves.
- 18:15Now Braves have a good bet split at circa 67% money line bets,
- 18:1997% money line dollars for their evidence of those bigger,
- 18:23sharper wagers playing the Braves out in Vegas system
- 18:26matches. Here with the Braves, we have
- 18:28home favorites 75 and 3767 percent, 12% ROI.
- 18:34And we have home favorites off a win playing an opponent off a
- 18:36loss, 39 and 1868 percent, 14% ROI.
- 18:41So 2 good systems there on the Braves.
- 18:43And then lastly, fishy and makes no sense.
- 18:46Why is it Lana, who's 2 and 8 on the year #1 opening as a
- 18:52favorite against the seven and three Phillies team and #2
- 18:55becoming more of a favorite? Also, Holmes's ERA is 7.2 O
- 19:00Walker is zero. So the Braves have the worst
- 19:03record and they have a pitcher with the high ERA, yet they open
- 19:06as a favorite became more of a favorite.
- 19:09That is, you know, when I was younger, it'd be automatic
- 19:11hammer Philly put them in every parlay.
- 19:14You know, this is me as a a newbie better before I learned,
- 19:17I learned not to do that. But you know, this is a play for
- 19:20me where I got to take the Braves.
- 19:22It just scream sharp action for me.
- 19:25So line moving to the Braves even though Philly is getting
- 19:28the majority tickets. Let's go Bravos.
- 19:30I got the Braves at -135 S Braves, Red Sox, A's, A's over
- 19:38and the cubbies. Can we find a way to scratch and
- 19:40claw and get three or more of those bets?
- 19:42That is the goal. So that about does it for
- 19:45episode 253 of the All Systems Go sports Betting podcast,
- 19:48powered by Rhythm. Of course.
- 19:50This is the part of the pod where we wrap things up.
- 19:52And I start first by saying thank you.
- 19:54Thank you for taking the time out of your day, out of your
- 19:57busy lives to pull up a chair to the virtual bar and sweat some
- 20:00sharp data-driven breakdowns with me.
- 20:02I'm very honored to host this pod and win, lose or draw.
- 20:05I love the fact that we've created this community to not
- 20:07talk about our biases or what we think or want or hope will
- 20:10happen, but trying to read the market.
- 20:12I feel like a detective everyday, a private investigator
- 20:15trying to figure out, you know, where, where the smart money's
- 20:18at. But if you do enjoy the pod and
- 20:21if you can hear my voice and you appreciate the insights, please
- 20:24could you do me a solid, give this podcast a five star review
- 20:27on Spotify or iTunes. If you want to leave a nice
- 20:29comment in the review section, that's also great.
- 20:31If you want to click the follow button.
- 20:33That way you get alerted as soon as it drops each day, that would
- 20:35be awesome as well. And of course, if you want to
- 20:37recommend the pod to a friend, colleague, family member, word
- 20:40of mouth is always, I would say the most most most appreciated
- 20:45way. You know, if you give you
- 20:47someone you respect tells you to do something, you're going to do
- 20:49it more often than just, you know, seeing an ad on Twitter or
- 20:52something. But anyway, next, if you enjoy
- 20:55the style of betting breakdown, data-driven, sharp contrarian
- 20:58betting and you want to learn more about data-driven betting,
- 21:02then guess what, you got to go pick up a book.
- 21:05That's right, books are still still around.
- 21:08I know people don't read anymore, but I was an English
- 21:10major. I think books are cool.
- 21:12I got some unnerved, but anyway, books or knowledge, and I wrote
- 21:15one. I'm very proud of it.
- 21:16Just go to Amazon.com and type in the Everything Guide to
- 21:19Sports betting. Pick up a copy for you or a
- 21:22friend or a buddy or you know, someone you know in a newly
- 21:25legalized state, someone who loses a lot and needs a North
- 21:28Star, a guiding philosophy. Or just pick one up for
- 21:31yourself. And it's got everything I've
- 21:33learned in the industry. How lines are set, how and why
- 21:36they move, how to read line movement, how to locate sharp
- 21:38action, how to place a bet in person or online, how to shop
- 21:41for the best line, how to set up a bankroll management plan.
- 21:44It's all included in the everything guide to sports
- 21:46betting. I would also love it.
- 21:48I know, I know, I'm being greedy here, but would you also think
- 21:52about pre ordering a copy of my new book, the NFL Sharp Betting
- 21:56Playbook? It comes out August 12th.
- 21:58We can get it right on Amazon.com.
- 22:00Type in the NFL Sharp Betting Playbook and I cannot wait for
- 22:03you guys to read it. I'm actually going through the
- 22:05final edits before it goes out to the printer.
- 22:07So exciting times here, but pick up one or both of my books,
- 22:12bring them to the sports book, I'll sign them for you.
- 22:14I'll buy a beer or ginger ale or we'll get some nachos and sweat
- 22:17some games together next. If you haven't done it yet, what
- 22:21are you waiting for? Go download Rhythm and Juice
- 22:23Reel, my two favorite sports betting apps.
- 22:25Rhythm fantastic for their AI backed models and predictions
- 22:29for game bets and player props for baseball.
- 22:31I'm not a huge MLB player prop guy.
- 22:34I know a lot of people love player props, but Rhythm has he
- 22:36covered there with their player prop predictions as well as the
- 22:40spread the run line money line in total.
- 22:43And then, of course, you also need to download juice reel.
- 22:47Juice reel where is where you can get the Robo Jackson best
- 22:49bet picks that come out each day at noon.
- 22:52You can also sign up to get my plays officially, you know, get
- 22:56some of them. I'm always going to, you know,
- 22:57the plays that we mentioned on the pod are always the plays
- 22:59that are in, you know, the app. But I do kind of bet them a
- 23:02little bit earlier in the day and you might get a better
- 23:04number. Like, you know, if you had seen
- 23:06you over 9 1/2 on the A's game, you know, in the app, you
- 23:09probably would have gotten that number.
- 23:11But anyway, it's $4.99 a week to get those plays.
- 23:15I know it sounds touty and kind of, you know, cringy, but I look
- 23:19at it as a tip jar. This pot is free.
- 23:21Tip your bartender, tip your server if they give you good
- 23:23service, if you value these insights, I would like to think
- 23:27you know the insights are worth $5 a week.
- 23:29We can sign up through Juice Reel, the social tab or click
- 23:32the tweet that I put out each day late afternoon.
- 23:35I'll actually put it out right before, right after this pod is
- 23:37done, but you also get the sharp mush indicators, arbitrage
- 23:41plays. Shop for the best line futures.
- 23:43It's all located in the Juice Reel app.
- 23:45So download Juice Reel, download Rhythm, and you'll be off and
- 23:49running. Make sure you have them five
- 23:50stars in the App Store as well. Lastly or second to last or
- 23:54third to last, I mentioned earlier, but you need a live
- 23:58odds page. If you're betting on sports, you
- 23:59got to have it. It's like being an architect and
- 24:01you don't have, you know, a screwdriver.
- 24:04I mean, it is so critical, so important.
- 24:06What is the line open at? How is the market moved?
- 24:09What's the current, you know, best price?
- 24:11I can shop around and get the best number for full line
- 24:14history. You know, moves in between gives
- 24:16you more nuance and kind of color to to what the market is
- 24:19telling you. But a live odds page is
- 24:21critical. Again, I don't know how people
- 24:22bet without 1. You got to know all the games.
- 24:24You got to know the lines and really the best one around is
- 24:27Odds Logic. I keep talking about it because
- 24:30I'm partnered with Odds Logic. I'm an affiliate, but I'm very
- 24:33proud of my connection because I really like the product.
- 24:36And I hope you guys know that I wouldn't, you know, kind of
- 24:38recommend something if I personally didn't use it and
- 24:41value it. So there are a lot of live odds
- 24:44pages out there, but Odds Logic is the best and the most cost
- 24:47effective. If you want to go to
- 24:48oddslogic.com/josh 123, you'll get a 7 day free trial and 50%
- 24:54off your first month. And if you have any questions,
- 24:57you can always hit me up on Twitter at Josh under score
- 24:59insights. I'll give you all these insights
- 25:01and remember when I, when I talk to you about like, you know,
- 25:04buying the book or you know, signing up for odds logic or
- 25:07getting the plays on juice real. All that information is located
- 25:11in the bio description of every podcast as well.
- 25:13So you can just go to the description of each pod.
- 25:15All the links will be there for you, but give odds logic a shot.
- 25:19I think you're going to like it. Lastly, as always, whether I see
- 25:23you at the Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode
- 25:26Island, the Brooklyn, New Hampshire, Foxwoods or Mohegan
- 25:28Sun down in Connecticut, at the Encore in Boston or Plain Rich
- 25:31Park Casino or MGM Springfield. In my neck of the woods in
- 25:34Massachusetts or at the Nash, my new favorite local sports book.
- 25:39Or of course, out in the desert where the true grinders get
- 25:41down, where Billy Walter sends his number runners with lowest
- 25:44juice possible is found at the South Point.
- 25:46Or sweat and sharp contrarian plays jumping in the stadium
- 25:48swimming pool. When you catch a big ticket at
- 25:50Circa, wherever it may be, you're going to walk up to me.
- 25:52You're going to show me a Padres A's winner in the first inning
- 25:57over 8 1/2 Brewers Cubbies. Just don't show me the Mariners.
- 26:01I still can't get over that. You know, you know, you know
- 26:03you're you're decent in a sport when you're mad when you go 3
- 26:06and 2 when you should have gone 4:00 and 1:00.
- 26:08But anyway, guys, first one's on me, next one's on you.
- 26:10We'll sweat some some MLB games here tonight.
- 26:13Lastly, of course, as always, little words of wisdom.
- 26:16These are things that I've learned over time and maybe
- 26:19you'll you'll learn to love them as well if you haven't already.
- 26:22But as always, here's what we got to do.
- 26:24We got to bet games with our head and not our heart against
- 26:27the public, with the house, with the pros flat bet, avoid
- 26:30parlays, get that closing line value again, not every sharp
- 26:33play will win or always playing the long game.
- 26:36And if we can do that, make sharp bets based on what the
- 26:38market is telling us, not what our biases and emotions are
- 26:41telling us, guess what? If we can do that long term,
- 26:44we're going to be successful sports bettors.
- 26:46So have a great Wednesday, everybody.
- 26:48Enjoy the sweats for MLB today. We'll be right back at it
- 26:51tomorrow for a big thirsty Thursday.
- 26:54And that'll be edition or episode 254 of the All Systems
- 26:58Go Sports Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 27:01Good luck everybody and have a great hump day.
