- A Billion and a Millionaire! This is The Lottery Rundown for Wednesday August 12th Mega Millions drew Tuesday night with 1, 20, 30, 46 and 68, plus Mega Ball 17. Nobody claimed the jackpot, but one lucky South Carolina ticket holder won 2 million dollars. What would you do if Tuesday handed you that kind of money? White ball 20 repeated from Friday, booking itself a two-draw residency, while 1 returned after 21 drawings away. Friday’s jackpot rises to an estimated 90 million dollars, with a cash value of 38.7 million dollars. Moving to Powerball, the last draw was Monday, August 10, with 6, 37, 54, 55 and 64, plus Powerball 10 and a 3X multiplier. There was no jackpot winner, though one Tennessee ticket holder scored 2 million dollars, and players in California and Maryland won 1 million dollars each. Over the past six years, 37 is tied for the third-most-drawn white ball, appearing 78 times. Tonight’s jackpot has reached an estimated 1 billion dollars, with a cash value of 433.1 million dollars. That could buy a private railway for one deeply confused alpaca. The run now spans 42 drawings and 100 days, around the 93rd percentile of recent jackpot gaps—unusually stretched indeed.
