- 0:00Speaker 1: Payon's been married for what two months now? Yeah, just
- 0:02Speaker 1: about two months, and this is breaking news. I can't
- 0:05Speaker 1: wait to hear she found something out about Kadeem, her
- 0:09Speaker 1: husband that you didn't know before you got married.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel so betrayed. And to be completely honest,
- 0:15Speaker 2: I feel like our entire relationship and marriage has been
- 0:18Speaker 2: based on a lie. What I do, I do? He
- 0:23Speaker 2: gets on my nerves I discovered about him.
- 0:26Speaker 3: This is so stupid.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Okay, So you know KaDee and I we actually met
- 0:31Speaker 2: in college playing basketball. He played basketball his whole life.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I played basketball in my whole life. Both their dads
- 0:37Speaker 2: were our coaches growing up. That's where we that's where
- 0:39Speaker 2: we are, that's where we connect.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:42Speaker 2: So, Kadem he actually shoots the basketball with his left hand,
- 0:46Speaker 2: but he writes and eats with his right hand. So
- 0:50Speaker 2: he told me when we first started dating that when
- 0:52Speaker 2: he was like three or four, when he really started
- 0:55Speaker 2: to pick up a basketball, that he broke his right arm,
- 0:58Speaker 2: so he had to learn how to shoot with his
- 0:59Speaker 2: left hand. I was like, makes sense to me. You
- 1:02Speaker 2: do everything else with your right hand, You're just a
- 1:04Speaker 2: left handed shooter. Pretty cool whatever. Come to find out,
- 1:07Speaker 2: apparently this mofo is ambidextrious.
- 1:10Speaker 4: He's not just left handed.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So did he not break his arm? Didn't break his
- 1:16Speaker 1: army straight up?
- 1:17Speaker 2: This lie?
- 1:18Speaker 4: Why wouldn't he just says, Amid.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I would think the bigger thing is not about being ambidextriate.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So that he lied.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, why he just got on it. But I was like,
- 1:27Speaker 2: why would you make that story up and tell me that?
- 1:29Speaker 2: He was like I told you that. I was like, yeah,
- 1:32Speaker 2: so apparently this is just something he tells random people.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So apparently I was just a random person at one point.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And why you were?
- 1:39Speaker 4: You were betrayed?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Did he write both perfectly?
- 1:42Speaker 3: No?
- 1:42Speaker 2: He so he's he can write with his right hand,
- 1:46Speaker 2: but if like he were to flex or punch, he's
- 1:48Speaker 2: punching with his left makes sense. But if he was
- 1:50Speaker 2: gonna go kick somebody, he's kicking with his right foot.
- 1:52Speaker 1: You know what happened to Rich? Oh the story? Rich?
- 1:54Speaker 3: I'm left handed, but I went to a Catholic school
- 1:57Speaker 3: in all the desks were those little right handed desks,
- 2:00Speaker 3: and I couldn't reach over far enough to write. And
- 2:04Speaker 3: then one of my nuns said, well, the devil is
- 2:06Speaker 3: left handed, so I switched to my right hand.
- 2:09Speaker 1: That is diabude.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I even got I asked my parents to put me
- 2:15Speaker 3: in a class where they would pull me out of
- 2:17Speaker 3: class and show me how to write with my right
- 2:19Speaker 3: hand on the chel But you see, like how crazy
- 2:24Speaker 3: do you see? How crazy neat my writing is. That's
- 2:27Speaker 3: because of all that, because I was afraid to write.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Walk around with like the rulers back then did.
- 2:32Speaker 3: But there when we used to have to do essays,
- 2:34Speaker 3: I could flip back and forth pretty regularly. I'd write
- 2:37Speaker 3: something with my right and then I'd switch to my
- 2:38Speaker 3: left and you couldn't tell the difference.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So Paynt found out that her husband is ambidextrious. That's
- 2:44Speaker 1: the big lie before she got married, Sarah, Sarah, what
- 2:47Speaker 1: did you find out about your significant other after you
- 2:49Speaker 1: got married?
- 2:51Speaker 5: It was a couple of years after that. He showed
- 2:53Speaker 5: me a YouTube video of himself up against Joey Chestnut,
- 2:58Speaker 5: the world hot dog eating champion.
- 3:01Speaker 6: No way, that's awesome.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm assuming he did not win. He did not win,
- 3:06Speaker 1: but he's right next to him sucking down hot dogs
- 3:08Speaker 1: left right.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Yeah, he signed up because he was a little bit
- 3:13Speaker 5: inebriated and he decided he wanted some free sausages.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Well, I I get that. How did he how did
- 3:19Speaker 1: he do? What did he?
- 3:20Speaker 3: Was he at least in the in the competition?
- 3:23Speaker 5: No, no, no, he's a guy next to the bad.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If you would have known this before he got married,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but you've been like, WHOA hold on a minute, I
- 3:32Speaker 1: don't think so.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I think it would have sealed the deal a lot quicker.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Sarah, thank you for calling in. Christina,
- 3:41Speaker 1: what did you find out about your significate other after
- 3:44Speaker 1: you got married?
- 3:45Speaker 7: I found out literally during an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond.
- 3:50Speaker 7: This is after three years, and I said, could you
- 3:53Speaker 7: imagine if there's something that I was doing that you
- 3:57Speaker 7: repeatedly did not like? And that's when he told me
- 4:00Speaker 7: he actually doesn't like anything with lemons, referring to my
- 4:05Speaker 7: lemon chicken.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Oh no, so you making lemon chicken. He would still
- 4:09Speaker 1: eat it.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Oh.
- 4:11Speaker 7: I was making it once a week and he was
- 4:13Speaker 7: eating it the whole thing. Never said anything, he said something. Yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 7: he finally said something during an episode of Everyone.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Loved Its kind of cute. Thank you, Christina, thanks for
- 4:26Speaker 1: sharing that story. These are really cute. I thought he
- 4:28Speaker 1: was gonna go totally stop. I found out that he was,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, gay only fan star.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Jeez, that's how I felt.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Told me, I'm.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Sure you are shook to the core.
- 4:40Speaker 8: Why would you lie to me?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Let's do more eight seven, seven, nine three seven one
- 4:44Speaker 1: oh four seven. What did you find out about your
- 4:47Speaker 1: significant other after you got married? We'll talk to you next,
- 4:50Speaker 1: John Daine Rich Go La La Real Matt. Stephanie Peyton
- 4:55Speaker 1: told us that she learned something about her husband after
- 4:58Speaker 1: they got married. Don't be married two months she learned
- 5:00Speaker 1: that he's ambidextrius. What did you learn about your significant
- 5:03Speaker 1: other after you got married?
- 5:06Speaker 6: Oh?
- 5:06Speaker 4: Well, I don't know if she told you about My
- 5:09Speaker 4: husband and I dated for nine years before we got married,
- 5:12Speaker 4: and three years after he and I got married, I
- 5:15Speaker 4: found out he had a brother.
- 5:16Speaker 1: What and.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Well, no, I'll even back up. Even before we got married.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Two weeks before we got married, he came home. We
- 5:25Speaker 4: had just moved in together, getting ready for the wedding,
- 5:28Speaker 4: and he came home one day, two weeks before we
- 5:31Speaker 4: got married, and he said, Hey, my brother Tony wants to.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Come over and meet you.
- 5:35Speaker 4: And I went, who's Tony? He's my brother? Okay, Well
- 5:39Speaker 4: I didn't think much of about it. And then three
- 5:41Speaker 4: years afterwards, we have a joint profile on Facebook and
- 5:45Speaker 4: I get this sund request from somebody and I said, hey,
- 5:48Speaker 4: do you know who this person is? He goes, yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 4: that's my brother, and I'm like, okay, wait a minute,
- 5:52Speaker 4: are there any other siblings I need to know about?
- 5:56Speaker 4: And at that time, no, that was the last one.
- 5:58Speaker 3: So that if you don't ask him, you just don't
- 6:01Speaker 3: find out. It's not like they're trying to keep it.
- 6:03Speaker 3: They just don't share.
- 6:06Speaker 9: Don't share them, they don't. Yeah, that was a little
- 6:09Speaker 9: bit of a surprise.
- 6:10Speaker 1: He Stephanie, thanks for listening, Thanks for calling in, Thank
- 6:13Speaker 1: you for listening.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Yeah, you got it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: At eight seven seven ninety seven four seven. One of
- 6:17Speaker 1: what did you find out about your certificate? Other after
- 6:18Speaker 1: he got married a couple texts, Lisa says that he
- 6:23Speaker 1: drank two beers every night after he got home from work.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I was worried too. It increased, and I told him
- 6:28Speaker 1: I wouldn't be married to an alcoholic. Forty years later,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's still just two beers every night. Oh wow. My
- 6:36Speaker 1: mom found out after twenty years of marriage that my
- 6:39Speaker 1: dad had been married two times prior instead of one.
- 6:42Speaker 1: During my grandmother's funeral. Both ex wives and my mom
- 6:46Speaker 1: were in attendance to pay respect. My dad's response was,
- 6:49Speaker 1: we didn't have kids, so it didn't seem like it mattered.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It was just my practice marriage. He's like, you, I
- 6:54Speaker 1: got it right when we got married. Betty says, we
- 6:57Speaker 1: got married. When he met me, he told me his
- 6:58Speaker 1: name was NICKI when he got I'm married, I learned
- 7:00Speaker 1: out that his name was Miguel. Violet says I got married,
- 7:06Speaker 1: I found out he folds the towels wrong. Uh, let's
- 7:13Speaker 1: see my second holes. My second husband told me he
- 7:16Speaker 1: liked men, okay, and then a comment to that. Kim says,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I have two ex husbands who did that. One I
- 7:22Speaker 1: stayed close with the other lived his double life, telling
- 7:24Speaker 1: his family and friends that was the problem. Yikes. Jennifer says,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I found out if I got married that he choose
- 7:32Speaker 1: his tongue. YEA like this painful. Yeah, I do it
- 7:36Speaker 1: all the time. Really, yeah. I feel like it's getting
- 7:39Speaker 1: all the toxins out of my tongue, putting them back
- 7:43Speaker 1: into your mouth, and then sometimes I'll spit it out.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Sounds great, let's see. Anyway, there's a bunch of text
- 7:49Speaker 1: messages Charmon, what'd you find out about your your significant other? Sharman? Charman?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Oh my God, might have us muted. Sure, I'm gonna

- 8:08Speaker 1: you can pick up. Let's see, Oh, josh As, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: found out that she was by? Interesting. Okay, well hold on, Charman,
- 8:18Speaker 1: we'll come back to you. Gloria.
- 8:21Speaker 10: I found out that he was by.
- 8:26Speaker 7: And I had.
- 8:29Speaker 10: Like I kind of knew, but once they got married,
- 8:31Speaker 10: he came clean.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Why not share that before? You think that would be
- 8:37Speaker 3: something you need to know?
- 8:39Speaker 9: But is that what.
- 8:42Speaker 6: He wanted to bring someone else in? Like, what was
- 8:44Speaker 6: the point of sharing that? It's like at that point,
- 8:47Speaker 6: you guys, I.
- 8:50Speaker 10: Think it was, Well, it was during COVID and you
- 8:53Speaker 10: know a lot of people were going through loneliness, that
- 8:57Speaker 10: kind of thing. So I think that ladam pumpling to.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Me, Yeah, you're quarantine, went on floor around what test
- 9:06Speaker 1: things out? Let's see it. Let's see how you are.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Are you still with him, Gloria, Yes.
- 9:12Speaker 10: I am. We've been married for nine years now.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling in, Thank you. Just check in
- 9:21Speaker 1: with Sherman. Charmany there, Charman not Sherman Charman anyway, maybe Charlemagne.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It's Charlemage from the Breakfast there. It is all right,
- 9:34Speaker 1: well I'll put it back on hold. There's a text here.
- 9:37Speaker 1: This is so funny because you know, so we got
- 9:40Speaker 1: our radio show which is live, and then we always
- 9:42Speaker 1: podcast to show after it's done, and we get a
- 9:44Speaker 1: ton of downloads. Thank you for downloading the podcast. People

- 9:48Speaker 1: might be behind listening to podcasts. And you can get
- 9:50Speaker 1: the podcasts of the show on the iHeartRadio app on
- 9:53Speaker 1: Apple podcast where we get podcasts. So people are listening
- 9:55Speaker 1: to todays like right now. Here's a text about the
- 9:57Speaker 1: May sixth podcast. May six that was last week this Texas,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and I was out of town and sometimes I was
- 10:04Speaker 1: trying to do the show from a studio in Hawaii.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Maybe we had technical difficulties or whatever. But because my
- 10:10Speaker 1: son was graduating this Texas. Why is John j missing
- 10:14Speaker 1: from half of the segments on the May six podcast?
- 10:16Speaker 1: He was also missing from segments on May fifth. Jan
- 10:19Speaker 1: is never quiet for that long? Who kidnapped him? Jan?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Who kidnapped Jan? Anyway? Kyle's get a poppy update Poppy,
- 10:28Speaker 1: the puppy.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Poppy, she's our puppy that we got from Love Papa,
- 10:33Speaker 6: I think three or four weeks ago now I'm losing count,
- 10:36Speaker 6: but she was a welcome new member of our family.
- 10:41Speaker 6: For the majority of us. There's two people in our household,
- 10:45Speaker 6: or two beings in our household, I should say that
- 10:48Speaker 6: I feel are just going to take a little bit
- 10:50Speaker 6: longer to warm up, one of which my husband. It
- 10:53Speaker 6: took a lot of convincing for him to say yes
- 10:55Speaker 6: that we could adopt her. And the other being is
- 10:58Speaker 6: our other dog, Daisy. She hates all dogs. She's just
- 11:01Speaker 6: not a fan of them, and she really doesn't like
- 11:04Speaker 6: that Poppy's in the household now like the and I'm
- 11:07Speaker 6: pretty sure she's only looked her in the eye about
- 11:11Speaker 6: seven times, and that's when she's barking at her to
- 11:14Speaker 6: get away from her. But I have this hope that
- 11:17Speaker 6: it's like, it's just gonna take time for them to
- 11:21Speaker 6: come around to each other. So there's been some really big,
- 11:24Speaker 6: awesome things that have happened that have given me such
- 11:27Speaker 6: extra hope where I'm like.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yes, this is it, this is the moment.
- 11:31Speaker 6: So Scott comes to me and he goes, son, Amazon
- 11:34Speaker 6: packs may be coming.
- 11:36Speaker 1: They're like sticks for Poppy.
- 11:38Speaker 6: I was like, acoustics.
- 11:39Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, like you ordered her choosticks.
- 11:43Speaker 9: This is amazing.
- 11:45Speaker 6: This is a great sign that you're starting to accept
- 11:47Speaker 6: it and love her too.
- 11:48Speaker 1: You want to get her treats like out.
- 11:51Speaker 6: So I got all excited about that, and like then,
- 11:54Speaker 6: like you know, the next day, I'm in my room
- 11:56Speaker 6: and I'm getting ready and Scott comes in. He goes,
- 11:58Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, he goes. I would never have believed
- 12:02Speaker 6: this unless I saw it with my own eyes.
- 12:05Speaker 1: And I was like, what, he goes, Daisy just played
- 12:09Speaker 1: with pop. I said, so bad, he.
- 12:14Speaker 6: Goes, Yeah, but it wasn't necessary.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It wasn't like an obvious play.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Like they were both near each other, and Daisy got
- 12:21Speaker 6: mad for a second, and then her tail started wagon
- 12:24Speaker 6: and like she got a lot of little a little
- 12:26Speaker 6: bit of energy and they started like playing a little bit.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I was like, stop it.
- 12:29Speaker 6: I still have yet to witness this.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Because she at you.
- 12:37Speaker 6: But but I was like, this is so huge.
- 12:39Speaker 1: So you guys, there is hope, no good Okay, listen,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm hesitant to do this, you guys, Okay, so bear
- 12:45Speaker 1: with me. But let's just try it. Charman, good morning,
- 12:50Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 12:56Speaker 9: Well, you guys are gonna probably be blown away by this.
- 12:58Speaker 8: But after I got married, I found out that my
- 13:01Speaker 8: husband is a gang member.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Oh like gang member, like street gang, or like cartel
- 13:07Speaker 1: or like mafia.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Like.
- 13:10Speaker 9: A Latin king.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Gang member.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And I hesitate to ask how you found out?
- 13:18Speaker 2: How do you stumble up?
- 13:21Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:21Speaker 9: No, exactly, No, he he he got a phone call
- 13:26Speaker 9: and he was very hush hush about it. So I
- 13:29Speaker 9: kept questioning and questioning him, and he ended up telling me.
- 13:33Speaker 9: And I'm like, oh my god, why didn't you tell
- 13:36Speaker 9: me this before we got married? Because I didn't think.
- 13:38Speaker 7: You would marry me?
- 13:39Speaker 9: And I was like, you know, I don't, I don't
- 13:42Speaker 9: judge people, but I wish he would have told me
- 13:45Speaker 9: that that's what he was.
- 13:47Speaker 8: Not that.
- 13:48Speaker 9: I mean, I know I'm protected. I'm not worried about that,
- 13:50Speaker 9: but just knowing and him keeping something so big from
- 13:54Speaker 9: me was like way out there?
- 13:57Speaker 8: So is the call secrets from him?
- 14:00Speaker 3: When he gets a call, is it he's getting, you know,
- 14:02Speaker 3: assigned a task or something from the gang?
- 14:07Speaker 9: Yes, and no, he's.
- 14:12Speaker 8: God, I don't know if I should say that on
- 14:14Speaker 8: the air.
- 14:15Speaker 9: But yeah, he's getting a call.
- 14:17Speaker 5: For for him to go do things.
- 14:20Speaker 1: But is he a hit man?
- 14:21Speaker 9: Since I really I don't want to see.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You, so you're still you're still married to him?
- 14:35Speaker 9: Oh, definitely.
- 14:37Speaker 1: But he lives in the United States. He lives in
- 14:39Speaker 1: the United States, but works for a Mexican cartel.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Well he's Puerto Rican, not a cartel. He's not a cartel.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Things get done and things get said, so you know,
- 14:53Speaker 8: and it's never it's it's never about anything that has
- 14:57Speaker 8: to do with a family or anything like that.
- 14:59Speaker 9: It's just you know, you just you don't you can't
- 15:03Speaker 9: cross him. And he's not a bad guy. You've got
- 15:05Speaker 9: the biggest heart in the world that I've ever met,
- 15:07Speaker 9: Like he's he's my everything. But just I wish you
- 15:11Speaker 9: would have said something, you know, so I would have
- 15:14Speaker 9: been prepared because the phone call, it wasn't I wasn't
- 15:16Speaker 9: prepared for.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Hey, what happened in the beginning of this phone I
- 15:18Speaker 1: tried to pick you up twice and it didn't work.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And I'm doing something that I.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Had don't know. So I was trying to stop her
- 15:23Speaker 6: from saying there, no, no, no.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I was gonna say because my wife She's one of
- 15:27Speaker 1: these people where like her and I are talking and
- 15:29Speaker 1: if there's a disconnection on the phone when she calls back,
- 15:32Speaker 1: the whole conversation about what happened. What happened, I'm driving
- 15:35Speaker 1: through a tunnel. Why did we get disconnected? It must
- 15:38Speaker 1: be you. It must not be to mean. I'm like, Blake,
- 15:40Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, which is what we would we talk about.
- 15:42Speaker 1: But I don't understand my phone must be acting weird.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And that's the whole conversation. And then I go, Okay,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I gotta go buy. So I was like, I want
- 15:47Speaker 1: to know what happened to try when we tried to
- 15:48Speaker 1: pick up twice, pick up twice and pick up what happened?
- 15:51Speaker 1: And I know, And it's funny because I I'm doing
- 15:53Speaker 1: what I despise what happened? We tried to pick up twice?
- 15:56Speaker 9: You doing that, John Jay, I do appreciate you doing that.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Because just let your husband know I was nice to you.
- 16:04Speaker 2: He is.
- 16:04Speaker 9: He's very nice to me. I don't think I could
- 16:07Speaker 9: do any wrong in his eyes from what he says.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So I am thank you for calling in it, Thanks
- 16:13Speaker 1: for listening. I'm glad you called back.
- 16:15Speaker 8: Yeah, me too, Thank you.
