- 0:00Speaker 1: Some winners and losers. You guys, let me know when
- 0:02Speaker 1: you have who you like as a winner. I'm looking
- 0:05Speaker 1: at this Hell, do you got something.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go with the pats Man. Yeah, I
- 0:09Speaker 2: mean all those picks. I know they do it all
- 0:11Speaker 2: the time, identity changing exactly, just like you said, identity
- 0:15Speaker 2: changing picks. So new regime. Rabel decided he kind of
- 0:19Speaker 2: liked the way the Belichick did it. I'm gonna try
- 0:21Speaker 2: to do it kind of like that, right, And so
- 0:22Speaker 2: he's gonna come in there, and these new guys are
- 0:24Speaker 2: gonna show up, and they're gonna have to show They're
- 0:26Speaker 2: gonna have to show out too. She's he's gonna be
- 0:29Speaker 2: a hard greater.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yeah for me, I'm gonna look at the Raiders.
- 0:33Speaker 1: This is a team that has a new general manager
- 0:35Speaker 1: in John Spotech. They're you know, obviously have Tom Brady's
- 0:38Speaker 1: influence there a little bit as well.
- 0:40Speaker 3: They just rebuilt their offense. Ash and Genty is that dude.
- 0:43Speaker 1: The second he walks in, Jack Bash can develop into
- 0:46Speaker 1: a number two or number one.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Wide receiver for you.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You get Darien Porter at corner, who just has so
- 0:51Speaker 1: much size and speed and special teams ability. You take
- 0:54Speaker 1: two swings on the offensive line, and Caleb Rodgers, who
- 0:56Speaker 1: I think would be a starter for you at guard,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and Charles Grant, who I think it truly played ten.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You got a deep threat in Dante Thornton from Tennessee.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Taka Hemingway and J. J. Pageeze give you some depth
- 1:05Speaker 1: on the interior of the defensive line to pass rushers.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Tommy Mallott is going to make this transition from quarterback
- 1:11Speaker 1: to wide receiver. I have no idea if it's gonna work,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but he's I'll take.
- 1:14Speaker 3: The swing there and give it a shot. Okay.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I think he got a little cute with Cam Miller
- 1:18Speaker 1: over quinn Ewers, but I'm not going to kill them
- 1:19Speaker 1: for that. And then Cody Lindenberg, the linebacker from Minnesota
- 1:22Speaker 1: in the seventh round. But to me, what the Raiders
- 1:25Speaker 1: were able to do in their first six picks of
- 1:28Speaker 1: the draft completely changes the identity and the look of
- 1:30Speaker 1: their football team on the offensive side of the ball
- 1:32Speaker 1: under Pete Carroll.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:34Speaker 4: For me, I'm gonna go to Chicago Bears. Absolutely love
- 1:38Speaker 4: what they did. I think they hit the home run,
- 1:40Speaker 4: especially early on getting Colston Loveland.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They needed a tight.
- 1:44Speaker 4: End, getting he was my tidy one in his class,
- 1:47Speaker 4: getting Coast to Loveland at ten. Get Luther Burton the third.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Another rot receiver in round two. Ozzie Trapelo, offensive tackle
- 1:55Speaker 4: out of Boston College. They know, listen, we talked about
- 1:58Speaker 4: maybe done all right, flip back over to the left
- 2:00Speaker 4: side like he did the year before he came out
- 2:02Speaker 4: of Tennessee. You know, you put Trapelo at the right
- 2:04Speaker 4: tackle spot, getting that freaker nature. Sheamar Shamar Turner, who
- 2:09Speaker 4: could play d tackle all over the defensive line at
- 2:13Speaker 4: like two hundred and eighty pounds, Rubin, you know, the
- 2:17Speaker 4: linebacker out of Maryland, Hippolyte Zoh Frasier, developmental corner out
- 2:23Speaker 4: of the Texas San Antonio, Luke Newman, and then getting
- 2:27Speaker 4: Kyle Manungat they needed a running back. They've hit, They
- 2:30Speaker 4: hit on a lot of different things. I feel like,
- 2:32Speaker 4: if you're Caleb Williams, you're really happy with what they did.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Like they addressed the defense, They got depth on the
- 2:38Speaker 4: offensive line, and got you three potentially three new playmakers
- 2:43Speaker 4: on offense.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you, guys as well. Look at some
- 2:47Speaker 1: losers in this draft. It's always hard to designate losers.
- 2:49Speaker 3: After the draft.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's not the draft class to me for
- 2:52Speaker 1: the Saints because I love Calvin Banks. Yeah, and Broughton,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Jonash Sanker, I don't get the planet quarterback and Tyler Shuck.
- 2:59Speaker 1: It's a great story because he's been in college I
- 3:01Speaker 1: think seven years now, he's been through three serious injuries.
- 3:05Speaker 3: But when you take Tyler Shuck at.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Forty, yeah, you're telling me that you believe he's potentially
- 3:12Speaker 1: soon right if Derek carrs as hurt as we are
- 3:14Speaker 1: all led to believe, like the clock is going to
- 3:17Speaker 1: be on Tyler Shuck and you better be right about
- 3:20Speaker 1: that pick.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and Tyler Shuck. It's not just over Shuder Sanders. Right.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You can make the argument that it's a couple of
- 3:26Speaker 1: different guys, but definitely it'll they'll be judged on that decision.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe they're right.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But to me, I like the look of what they've
- 3:33Speaker 1: done with this draft from a roster standpoint, I don't
- 3:35Speaker 1: think they're gonna be able to take steps forward because
- 3:37Speaker 1: they're so hamstrung at quarterback.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that was my that was mine as well for
- 3:42Speaker 4: the like to your point, the rest of the I
- 3:45Speaker 4: like a lot of the other picks they made, but
- 3:47Speaker 4: you took Tyler Shuck at forty. So what you're telling
- 3:50Speaker 4: me is, if Derek Carr can't go, I shouldn't. We
- 3:53Speaker 4: shouldn't we should expect him to win the QB battle
- 3:56Speaker 4: over Spencer Rattler in training him. We should expect Tyler
- 4:00Speaker 4: Chuck taking the first team snaps in the preseason and
- 4:03Speaker 4: being the guy week one. Right, you take when you
- 4:06Speaker 4: make a decision like this at forty. That's what you're
- 4:08Speaker 4: telling the fans. And I liked, I said, this is
- 4:11Speaker 4: a I like Tyler Shuck. I like this tape, but
- 4:16Speaker 4: the injuries and I felt like the third round earliest
- 4:20Speaker 4: was where I was.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Yeah, there any questions today.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Originally I was gonna say the Browns. I thought about
- 4:26Speaker 2: them too, but then we saw Quinn Yours. I can
- 4:31Speaker 2: tell you what I think. That took a lot of
- 4:33Speaker 2: heat off of that browse situation. So I'll go with
- 4:37Speaker 2: Quinn Yours.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 3: It's just tough for him, man, It is tough. It's tough.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's compared to what we thought he could be one
- 4:44Speaker 1: day yep, compared and now he gets to, like Rock Purty, potentially.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Rewrite his story.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Absolutely, it's a longer road when you're the seventh round
- 4:53Speaker 1: guy compared to when you get into camp and you
- 4:56Speaker 1: get real number two or even number one reps.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Absolutely, so I'm with you.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And Shadeur Sanders. We're going to see where how about
- 5:07Speaker 1: how that plays out? You know, the one positive for Shador,
- 5:11Speaker 1: he has a chance. You'd think the Browns control some
- 5:14Speaker 1: of this, but in terms of talent to be the
- 5:17Speaker 1: starting quarterback week one, yes, like out of all the
- 5:19Speaker 1: places he could have gone, there's nobody on that roster
- 5:23Speaker 1: that you go shore can't beat him out.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I really feel like he walks into that room with
- 5:28Speaker 4: that boulder sized chip and said, I am going to
- 5:32Speaker 4: beat Dylan Gabriel out for QB one.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It'll be on a mission for that one. It's really
- 5:38Speaker 1: if they can get away from the comfort food that
- 5:40Speaker 1: is Joe Flatten. Yeah, which I think at this point
- 5:43Speaker 1: they should be able to. But the Brown strategy is
- 5:47Speaker 1: going to be fascinating because you you told everyone you
- 5:51Speaker 1: thought Dylan Gabriel was, you know, two rounds earlier than sure,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and then you took Chador anyway anyway, and it's it's
- 6:00Speaker 1: okay if you were wrong, Like if Shador shows.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Up and outplays everybody and you start.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Sure, nobody's gonna criticize you for that, but if you
- 6:08Speaker 1: it's gonna be about opportunity and how we had this conversation.
- 6:11Speaker 3: How are the reps divvied up? We'll see.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So Yeah, the Browns have quickly become the interesting, most
- 6:18Speaker 1: interesting summer storyline overnight. Shador Sanders with the tweet, thank
- 6:24Speaker 1: you God. The one thing for Shador is Kevin Stefanski's
- 6:28Speaker 1: a hell of a coach. There's a reason he's a
- 6:29Speaker 1: two time NFL Coach of the Year and he knows
- 6:32Speaker 1: how to formulate an offense. I do wonder I kind
- 6:35Speaker 1: of was hoping Shador would go to a New Orleans,
- 6:37Speaker 1: that dome type environment.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Cleveland is a ruthless place to throw a football. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 3: but we're gonna see if he can overcome that.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Well, they got two new running backs to lean heavy on.
- 6:48Speaker 3: And they will know. Those guys are gonna they're gonna
- 6:52Speaker 3: be fed. As Donovan Mitchell says, welcome to the land.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Chadoor Sanders, the guy that made
