- 0:32Speaker 2: Tone hasn't even ending all days two fifty seven. He
- 0:35Speaker 2: has just peed once. I see one day we're shooting
- 0:38Speaker 2: six episodes on the Patriot a day. I've had all
- 0:41Speaker 2: kinds of delectable deliciousness. I'm drinking water. But I did
- 0:46Speaker 2: speaking soda when he wasn't around, because we got the
- 0:48Speaker 2: little sodas here. I had one in my face I
- 0:51Speaker 2: did yesterday last man, it could have been drinking liquor.
- 0:54Speaker 2: But sometimes you just want to sprite man. But the
- 0:58Speaker 2: thing I have realized, if you don't drink soda a lot.
- 1:00Speaker 2: When you go back to it, it tastes syrupy sweet
- 1:03Speaker 2: as I had a cherry lineman. Oh, man, I had
- 1:06Speaker 2: a supray soda last night at home. I couldn't even
- 1:08Speaker 2: finish it. I said, man, was this is like sludge.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Strawberry strawberry soda is big shoe.
- 1:13Speaker 1: That is the best, the one we're like, all right.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Coming in written, coming in heaven handed alright.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Today's episode topic also this podcast.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Man, Me and Tony are just friends. We just get
- 1:29Speaker 2: along great. It was in Mexico City. I do do Mexico.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Somebody told you should have talked about it. I said,
- 1:35Speaker 2: well you, I was the one that encouraged it, telling
- 1:39Speaker 2: me that story.
- 1:39Speaker 1: On set.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:41Speaker 1: First of all, Tony was walking gingerly.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Man. He didn't trust cam, he didn't trust the cut
- 1:50Speaker 2: thickness of his body to hold it.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Tony told me, he said, I got I got tissue
- 1:54Speaker 1: stuck up in right now.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Plugged in. I don't know.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I think it was what he was drinking smoothies in Mexico,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and I was like, I think the smoothies had either
- 2:05Speaker 2: the ice or the water. I said, that's too risky.
- 2:09Speaker 2: You had the juicy, He had the juicery stuff. You
- 2:11Speaker 2: had the juicers. I did have the juices.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I feel like that's they tell you you gotta go
- 2:15Speaker 1: bottle of water.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I definitely went bottled water.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 2: But and then you gotta avoid tap, they said, apparently,
- 2:21Speaker 2: don't even drink ice, like have ice in your drinks.
- 2:24Speaker 2: You drink liquor just go straight liqud what they hen,
- 2:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna do, man. But I think it was the
- 2:28Speaker 2: smoothiest because we ate at a lot of the same restaurants. Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and once you were sick, I was like, how you doing.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I got sick. I guess sick the second day, But
- 2:38Speaker 3: I would have got sick on the smoothie bowl on
- 2:40Speaker 3: the first day.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I don't. I think it was the second
- 2:42Speaker 2: because member, we went to a different smoothie place the second.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Time, the same chain.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Different but it only takes one bad piece of water,
- 2:49Speaker 1: one bad piece of ice.
- 2:51Speaker 3: But I also had fruit on set.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I totally I thought it was the fruit. When you
- 2:56Speaker 2: bit that, I said, you just you just living. You
- 2:58Speaker 2: might as well snort cocaine.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I had fruit on set, just grabbing that fruit because
- 3:05Speaker 3: he brought me the fruit to the trailer, remember, yes,
- 3:07Speaker 3: And then I had all. I had every piece of
- 3:09Speaker 3: that fruit. It was like an apple, a pear, and
- 3:12Speaker 3: a banana, and that fruit had every piece of you.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And then right right after that, I kind of felt
- 3:18Speaker 3: it right away.
- 3:19Speaker 2: What was the fruit then? For sure?
- 3:21Speaker 1: But why would he be the fruit because I don't
- 3:23Speaker 1: have the water in it.
- 3:26Speaker 3: No, I just assumed it was already clean because it
- 3:30Speaker 3: was put out there for the catering.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Somebody grabbed it to hand it to you. He just
- 3:36Speaker 1: didn't he just hand you fruit.
- 3:38Speaker 3: It wasn't even plate, it was on the plate. He
- 3:40Speaker 3: was like, maybe it was Maybe it was the fruit though,
- 3:46Speaker 3: because right after that, that's when I started feeling.
- 3:48Speaker 2: That was immediate.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It was pretty like right after lunch, I was feeling
- 3:52Speaker 3: normal until.
- 3:53Speaker 2: After I saw Tony walk. I didn't know he was
- 3:56Speaker 2: sick yet, man, I saw cause Tony don't ever go
- 3:59Speaker 2: to the bathroom that much much. And we'll be on
- 4:01Speaker 2: set twelve hours. I saw Tony just he said, it's
- 4:03Speaker 2: let me just Ima go to the bathroom. That's how
- 4:05Speaker 2: he walked to the bathroom.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, keeping them cheeks clinched.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Hold on where you came back.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You were good, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Just you know.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Something wrong, man, I said, you didn't even put your
- 4:21Speaker 1: heel on the ground.
- 4:23Speaker 2: The bathroom was far Like, was this.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I all right?
- 4:38Speaker 2: Today's episode we're doing.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Uh?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Top ten rappers turn act Top ten rappers turn actors.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Now this is tough because there's a lot more.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot. Then I realized, Okay, what we're
- 4:54Speaker 3: basing this criteria skills and this is not just black
- 4:59Speaker 3: right market Marcus are Let me tell you, I'm just
- 5:03Speaker 3: saying I don't take his rap career seriously.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I don't either, and probably could have had more if
- 5:08Speaker 2: he did more. I loved him mob, but he ain't
- 5:10Speaker 2: doing enough. Uh.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'd say, let's take it as.
- 5:16Speaker 2: If somebody told you they were a rapper, you'd be like, oh, okay,
- 5:21Speaker 2: they're that much of an actor. You they could have
- 5:24Speaker 2: existed as an actor only all right? Who went first?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Last time?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Uh? You? You?
- 5:29Speaker 2: You? Uh?
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna go yes, and Bay I knew you were
- 5:35Speaker 3: gonna pick him. He's like, he's the most versatile rapper
- 5:41Speaker 3: actor in the game.
- 5:43Speaker 2: He is.
- 5:45Speaker 3: None of his characters have been the.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Same he is. He's in a season of dexter as
- 5:52Speaker 2: like a Muslim dude. He's in the Italian job on
- 5:56Speaker 2: the comedic. He's in a movie with Queen Lantiffa where
- 5:59Speaker 2: he he was in love with Brown Sugar. He was
- 6:02Speaker 2: so funny and wine. He was different big with with
- 6:06Speaker 2: Jack Blast.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Sixteen Blocks with Bruce Willis, he was different, even had
- 6:10Speaker 3: a different voice. He was in Something the Lord Made,
- 6:13Speaker 3: which is fantastic. Oh, it's so good.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It was.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It was an HBO original movie about real life black
- 6:22Speaker 3: medical dude who was helping. Uh. I forget what type
- 6:26Speaker 3: of surgery they did. It was him and Alan Rickman
- 6:29Speaker 3: and he played he played a real life character of
- 6:33Speaker 3: somebody that changed the medical field. Really fire.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I knew he was gonna say.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Open heart surgery. Yeah, Carson, No, no, no, it wasn't
- 6:43Speaker 3: being Carson. It was fire though. I feel like everybody
- 6:46Speaker 3: should see that joint. So it's so well done. But
- 6:49Speaker 3: his his versatility as an actor, That's what.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I love about him. Do you tend to like actors
- 6:55Speaker 2: who can be versatile.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Because you know, they say Denzil's versatile, and I love him.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Believability is huge for you too.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Though, But but I also have a soft spot for
- 7:07Speaker 3: you know, the ability to change your character like most
- 7:10Speaker 3: different Monster's Ball is not the same most deaf and
- 7:13Speaker 3: hitchhiker's guy to the gallony. So it's just like like
- 7:17Speaker 3: Jeffrey Wright, like Jeffrey Wright, like Johnny Depp or yeah he's.
- 7:21Speaker 2: The best, Jeffrey Wright is doctor Narcis versus American fiction.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I'm like different, totally different guy.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Different guys, so.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Hard to do, Like if you're not a funny person.
- 7:35Speaker 2: He's not a comic, like a comedian, so everybody who
- 7:39Speaker 2: can act can't be funny.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So that's why he's like up here for.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Me because he can be equally believable and good serviceable
- 7:46Speaker 2: as a dramatic actor. But when they gave him all
- 7:49Speaker 2: the funny and brown sugar, the Queen of Tifa and
- 7:53Speaker 2: b Knrie Wane was like a like an indie cult
- 7:57Speaker 2: classic type of funny women.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Jack Black, you know how I feel about Jack Black
- 8:01Speaker 3: is the national Tristan.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Jack Black is the leader of the wrong.
- 8:04Speaker 1: No wrong to me, all right, so you know what
- 8:07Speaker 1: I have to do. Tony Willard Carrol Smith the.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Second Okay, yeah, he's this list, would this list would
- 8:14Speaker 3: be fraudulent.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Easily the most successful box office wise rapper turned actor,
- 8:24Speaker 2: and he also has the television sitcom career and then
- 8:29Speaker 2: the ten movies one hundred million dollar career.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I went, I want Will.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I'm excited for this next phase of like older Will
- 8:39Speaker 2: because there's like a couple of actors like Sam Jackson,
- 8:42Speaker 2: Morgan Freeman, even De Niro, they've had different careers. Like
- 8:47Speaker 2: I still want Denzel to do a character like Robert
- 8:49Speaker 2: de Niro.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Meet the Parents.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like a funny, funny guy.
- 8:53Speaker 2: But he doesn't have Like Robert de Niro is funny,
- 8:55Speaker 2: but he's not being funny. It's his character and the
- 8:59Speaker 2: the situation. Wa, He's really a straight up just kind
- 9:03Speaker 2: of grumpy old man who doesn't want his daughter to
- 9:05Speaker 2: marry the guy.
- 9:06Speaker 1: The situations are just funny.
- 9:07Speaker 3: I think his funniest roles to me for Robert de
- 9:10Speaker 3: Niro are analyzing because you know, he was he was
- 9:16Speaker 3: being annoying and Meet the Parents, he was just being
- 9:18Speaker 3: tough on Greg. Greg was carrying the comedic load. He
- 9:22Speaker 3: was just being a straight annoying man. But analyze this though, Yeah, well,
- 9:28Speaker 3: Billy Crystal's coming into this therapist and he just like,
- 9:31Speaker 3: what the what we're talking about?
- 9:33Speaker 4: It?
- 9:33Speaker 2: It is just like that's what I want. Yeah, and
- 9:36Speaker 2: he would be a cop out to me. He'd be like,
- 9:39Speaker 2: nobody ever sends me in the scripts. There's nothing you
- 9:41Speaker 2: couldn't do. Yeah, if he wants, I want my analy
- 9:44Speaker 2: I would find something for Someone would write it. Absolutely,
- 9:48Speaker 2: someone would write wants to be in a comedy, They're
- 9:51Speaker 2: gonna be loving.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Because it's so right now.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm writing right now.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I'm writing it right now.
- 9:58Speaker 1: They saying, that didn't tell you you are proven. Take
- 10:01Speaker 1: the risk. Give us the comedy. You sixty, give us
- 10:05Speaker 1: the comedy. Man, we deserve it.
- 10:08Speaker 2: You're up next.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Okay, So we got Will Smith, we got y'all saying, bae,
- 10:13Speaker 3: we got we gotta put Queen the TVA things.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She's the next person under Will Smith Man.
- 10:19Speaker 3: TV show, hit TV show, movie rolls, Oscar nomination, Chicago, Chicago,
- 10:27Speaker 3: Come on, man, equalized her equalizers, she got another hit
- 10:30Speaker 3: TV show.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I don't she got hit movies.
- 10:33Speaker 3: She got two.
- 10:34Speaker 1: She became equalizing. She's equalizing. I don't, why not.
- 10:38Speaker 3: That's a big girl. Man. It looked like she got hands,
- 10:41Speaker 3: Queen lat We did if we do a if we do,
- 10:45Speaker 3: we look like they got hands. Queen Lativa's always looked
- 10:48Speaker 3: like she got hand.
- 10:48Speaker 2: What's that movie? She was riding a motorcycle. It was like,
- 10:52Speaker 2: obviously a small man riding the motorcycle. She took the
- 10:54Speaker 2: held it off. It was like, Queen Latifa, I.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Don't remember that.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Oh you never seen this.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I don't remember that.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I made a video about it.
- 11:03Speaker 3: But it looked like she can fight hold on to
- 11:06Speaker 3: so I'm with it? Are they saying, Taxi taxi? I
- 11:14Speaker 3: saw that movie, but I don't remember it.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Hold on, let me see this, but.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I haven't seen the equalizer yet her showing it.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Quinna Teafah. Let me see.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I was right in the beginning, this person riding this motorcycle.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Come on, man, stop doing it. How was that boxing moisture?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Wait? This is supposed to be her on the bike. Yes,
- 11:54Speaker 3: on the bicycle.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Obviously a small man or woman.
- 12:04Speaker 3: This is supposed to be Queen Latifa on this damn bicycle.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Look at taxi opening, they wild.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Come on.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Taxi two thousand and four. Look up opening.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Now, Wow, that was her on the bicycle. That's crazy.
- 12:31Speaker 1: As they slid into the snunt doubles.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Different person, Come on, man, come on down. All right,
- 12:37Speaker 3: But anyway, Queen the teefa got the acting child, she
- 12:40Speaker 3: got the versatility. She can do drama, she can do comedy.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I just watched Just Right recently, and I was like,
- 12:46Speaker 1: Queen Tava can really do no wrong.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah, she's great.
- 12:49Speaker 1: She's great.
- 12:49Speaker 3: You look at her and set it off, and you
- 12:51Speaker 3: look at her just right, two different care.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Love it And she went out like a boss and
- 12:55Speaker 1: set it off.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Yeah she was so you believed her in that room.
- 13:00Speaker 1: She's the anchor of the movie.
- 13:02Speaker 2: To me, Like, she makes me think if there's no
- 13:06Speaker 2: Queen of TV in the group, I don't think y'all
- 13:07Speaker 2: can rob banks. Yeah, Vivaica Fox is probably next in line.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Kimberly at least, ain't no Jada Pinkett don't really want
- 13:13Speaker 2: to be there. But Cleo Life of Crime. She was
- 13:18Speaker 2: spending the bread quick.
- 13:19Speaker 3: They're like, what are you doing, Let's rob it out
- 13:21Speaker 3: a bank.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Baby, I don't care.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I got my girlfriend here.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I'm on the hood of the car licking.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah. I spent that bread man. That was a good
- 13:30Speaker 3: casted movie.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It was perfect.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And even when she like when she's about to die,
- 13:34Speaker 2: you finally see the like I'm scared right like that
- 13:39Speaker 2: pulling off the one note is not easy. But but
- 13:43Speaker 2: that moment layered us up and then she goes back
- 13:47Speaker 2: like nigga, I'm gonna be dead. She knew she was scared,
- 13:51Speaker 2: and then when.
- 13:51Speaker 1: She gets shot, she she go back to the scare.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That's where I'm like, you kill it.
- 13:58Speaker 2: That's good actor, because I you in that moment like
- 14:01Speaker 2: I'm dead to rite, so I'm not going back to jail.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Probably should have stoped robbing the banks. Should have listened
- 14:05Speaker 2: to them saying but here I am, now here, I am,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'm not going to jail.
- 14:10Speaker 1: You're gonna have to kill me.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I love it.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Queen La.
- 14:13Speaker 1: All right, My next one is ice Cube. Okay, I
- 14:17Speaker 1: feel like ice Cube in.
- 14:18Speaker 2: The later years, he's kind of like had a run
- 14:20Speaker 2: of like remember when Eddie Murphy made like seven bad
- 14:23Speaker 2: movies in a row like ice Cube. I'm not saying
- 14:26Speaker 2: he made bad movies, but like his start where he
- 14:29Speaker 2: was not not far off from his rap persona was great,
- 14:33Speaker 2: Fridays were great, even ride alongs were great. But then
- 14:38Speaker 2: he's like even all about the Benjamin's was people make
- 14:40Speaker 2: fun of or no, no, people like that. It's Jankie promoters.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Moving not that bad.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I get ice Cube has a funny thing, and even
- 14:49Speaker 2: as the villain in Ninja Turtles.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I was like, I know this voice was
- 14:53Speaker 3: like ice Cube. I ce.
- 14:56Speaker 1: So I feel like ice Cube is a great rapper
- 14:59Speaker 1: turned auct.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah for sure. He killed it in his debut. Yeah,
- 15:04Speaker 3: you know, he has a lot of people say ice
- 15:06Speaker 3: QB be playing the same person. No, I don't agree
- 15:09Speaker 3: with that. You know what I'm saying. He was different.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Dough Boy was different than are we there yet? Very
- 15:14Speaker 3: that's family comedy, barbershop. Ice Cube is not the same
- 15:18Speaker 3: as you know what I'm saying. So I feel like
- 15:21Speaker 3: he has a nice little diverse resume, like when he
- 15:25Speaker 3: was in Three Kings. You know, you can compare that
- 15:28Speaker 3: to like, uh, what's another movie like Torque, even though
- 15:34Speaker 3: Tork wasn't that good.
- 15:35Speaker 2: But it's just character wise. Character wise, he's not playing angry,
- 15:39Speaker 2: but he just has the same face, but he's not
- 15:41Speaker 2: playing the same character.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Energy is different.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't be the family comedy Are we there yet?
- 15:47Speaker 2: It's not dough Boy?
- 15:49Speaker 3: No, absolutely no.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I can't remember his character name in higher learning, but
- 15:52Speaker 1: it's definitely not that good.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Alright, ice Cubeuh okay, ice Cube, all right, I'm tapping
- 15:59Speaker 3: in with what we got four?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Now we got four most staff Will Smith Quenten and
- 16:03Speaker 2: TV ice Cube.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Okay, I'm coming in with I'm gonna do ll cool J.
- 16:11Speaker 3: That's what I was gonna say, ll cool J. Man.
- 16:15Speaker 3: He got a couple of TV shows under his belt.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Still on the TV show.
- 16:18Speaker 1: He been how old is he? Fifty something? He got
- 16:22Speaker 1: to be in his fifties and been working on that TV.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Oh for sure. He's been on NCIS Los Angeles for
- 16:28Speaker 3: mad long. He was in Swat, he was in Deep
- 16:31Speaker 3: Blue Sea. You know, he was in the Halloween franchise.
- 16:35Speaker 3: He was a god on end too deep.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yep.
- 16:40Speaker 3: He can do. He could do the romantic comedies. He
- 16:42Speaker 3: can do Kingdom Come, he could do you know, deliver
- 16:45Speaker 3: us from either or he could do like some street stuff.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And I feel like he got a nice little resume.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I mean he's steady, working, steady working. Nothing to do
- 16:53Speaker 3: with his career. Yeah, like he's a he's a bona
- 16:56Speaker 3: fide He is a legit six figure in episode actor
- 17:00Speaker 3: right now.
- 17:01Speaker 1: He had a sitcom too in the House that probably
- 17:05Speaker 1: didn't get a hundred.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I don't know how long they last see how long
- 17:10Speaker 1: in the House.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Last few seasons that's for show in the House.
- 17:14Speaker 1: As well, two seasons. That's it that says no, it was.
- 17:19Speaker 2: More than no.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I can't be because they switched they switched networks.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Ah, that's why. Yeah in the House was five seasons,
- 17:28Speaker 2: seventy six episodes.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Was he there for the whole run? I feel like,
- 17:32Speaker 3: didn't they do it without him? After a while?
- 17:34Speaker 2: I don't remember watching, but he just.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Kind of focused on Carlton and Kim Wallis I can't remember.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And Carlton wasn't that Yeah who you got?
- 17:51Speaker 3: So?
- 17:52Speaker 2: I like Andre three thousand, but he hasn't acted a lot,
- 17:54Speaker 2: a lot, but everything he's done was great. Four brothers.
- 17:59Speaker 3: He was good.
- 18:00Speaker 1: He was I don't want to do this.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't want to do this, y'all. Stop. He didn't
- 18:05Speaker 3: want no smoke, he didn't want none of this.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Street ship clean stabbing. He like, do this, man, stop
- 18:13Speaker 1: doing me like this?
- 18:15Speaker 3: Uh?
- 18:18Speaker 1: And Ice Teep been working, I sep been working.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Man.
- 18:21Speaker 3: He's been on law. I know would have gone on
- 18:22Speaker 3: twenty years.
- 18:23Speaker 1: He hasn't been.
- 18:24Speaker 3: It's been like it's probably been like fourteen fifteen years.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It's been a minute. Yeah, And he was in there.
- 18:30Speaker 1: He was in a New Jack City.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yep, I want to shoot you so bad, my Dick's hard.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I was that line was just I don't know why.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I don't know if I wanted it that bad? Hey?
- 18:41Speaker 1: Why those are different parts of your body?
- 18:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:46Speaker 1: That never sits right now.
- 18:48Speaker 3: I don't know who wrote that line and why I
- 18:51Speaker 3: want to shoot you so bad? My Dick's hard. You
- 18:56Speaker 3: You you was that passionate about killing this dude? I
- 19:02Speaker 3: would question. I'd be like, wait, why is my dick
- 19:04Speaker 3: car thinking about this man?
- 19:06Speaker 2: I can't even shoot you because I need to understand
- 19:10Speaker 2: what what is making me a roud man? Murder? The
- 19:15Speaker 2: prospect of murder is like I want to have sex
- 19:18Speaker 2: with this bullet man because it enters your own and
- 19:21Speaker 2: to smash the hole that's put in your body.
- 19:23Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 19:24Speaker 3: I want to cut so bad?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Is that line?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Really?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Was that improv you wrote that? Give me something else?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Give me something else, man, give me another. I want
- 19:34Speaker 3: to kill you so bad. I can't even see straight.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Not as hard hitting, but I can tell you imagine
- 19:40Speaker 2: a woman being like, I want to shoot you so hard.
- 19:42Speaker 1: My couchie's wet. I want to kill you.
- 19:45Speaker 3: So Badi's wet. That's how you feel showting. I'll be
- 19:49Speaker 3: down there in the trash man, that's how you feel shouting.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I mean, hey, do what you feel.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I want to kill you so bad. My couchie's wet
- 19:57Speaker 1: all over it.
- 20:00Speaker 3: The crowds of people outside.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I was like, oh, killing a woman, a woman on woman.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You threw yourself in.
- 20:08Speaker 3: On after myself the trash bags. I was like, you
- 20:12Speaker 3: will give me that? Ding Suld said something early we
- 20:16Speaker 3: could have worked the side.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I see, huh, I see.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I like his acting skills got better over time.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Too, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Now on uh Law and Order.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It's kind of a joke like what his character he
- 20:37Speaker 1: always has, like the little one liner one. I guess
- 20:39Speaker 1: she was water in.
- 20:40Speaker 3: A cup, just like man, what that joking was like,
- 20:46Speaker 3: how a side? Because this morning? Don't don't don't, don't
- 20:50Speaker 3: don't know. That's it. He was like that one episode.
- 20:57Speaker 3: We was like, man, I'm not gere. I just have
- 20:59Speaker 3: sex with men. He's like, that means you get dun
- 21:03Speaker 3: that the dum dumn bump. That means you get gay
- 21:15Speaker 3: damp dum dum dum.
- 21:19Speaker 2: What do you mean we forgot about a different world.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Who was a rapper turn actor in there? I don't know,
- 21:26Speaker 2: nobody in a different world. Somebody we're talking about in
- 21:29Speaker 2: a in a Tupac was on there. Different world.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah, he was on the cameo.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Yeah, might be on Tupac.
- 21:37Speaker 2: That's my next Bigcupac as Bishop.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah here, here's here's why I struggled with Tupac
- 21:45Speaker 3: as a rapper turn actor. My introduction to Tupac was
- 21:48Speaker 3: actually movies, so I thought I was like, Yo, this
- 21:54Speaker 3: is actor he rapping? Really yeah, So you know, even
- 22:00Speaker 3: even though technically Tupac was a rapper first, I mean
- 22:03Speaker 3: the actor first. The first thing I saw man it
- 22:08Speaker 3: was either nothing but Trouble.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Or Juice because before you heard him rapping.
- 22:13Speaker 3: So I didn't hear him rap until I saw Brenda's
- 22:16Speaker 3: got a baby. And so when I saw Brenda's got
- 22:18Speaker 3: a baby, I was like, yo, that's Bishop from Juice.
- 22:21Speaker 3: So I didn't I didn't know him when I washed Juice,
- 22:25Speaker 3: I didn't know he was a rapper. So I was
- 22:29Speaker 3: just like it was just it was just a cast
- 22:31Speaker 3: full of you know, actors. So I was like, Yo,
- 22:34Speaker 3: this actor is rapping.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Now you've got a different list.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yes, so I didn't know, you know, I didn't know
- 22:40Speaker 3: about his history of course that he you know, he
- 22:43Speaker 3: was in the School of the Arts and stuff like that.
- 22:45Speaker 3: It was to me at the timing that I saw
- 22:48Speaker 3: everything because I saw Juice in theaters opening weekend. So
- 22:52Speaker 3: later on when I saw Brenda's Got a Baby, I
- 22:54Speaker 3: was like, yo, man, this actors rapping.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Yeah. The crazy thing is I want to I know
- 23:00Speaker 2: John Singleton had written baby Boy for him, and obviously
- 23:04Speaker 2: he passed away before, but I would have loved to
- 23:05Speaker 2: see his baby Boy, and I liked and Baby's Boy.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Baby Boy become a comedy because honestly, because I think
- 23:12Speaker 2: BT played it so much. YEA, nothing to do with
- 23:14Speaker 2: the movie because they're not being funny. It's just like
- 23:16Speaker 2: when you've seen the movie so many times, it's like
- 23:18Speaker 2: you find it funny in it. Yeah, but I would
- 23:20Speaker 2: have loved to see his version. Oh man, He's just
- 23:22Speaker 2: would have been different.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Tupac is a great actor though.
- 23:24Speaker 2: He's you know, his role in Juice.
- 23:27Speaker 3: His rolling Poetic Justice, his rolling like Gridlocked, gang related,
- 23:33Speaker 3: it just showed showed a nice range of him. Absolutely,
- 23:36Speaker 3: and you know, it just sucks that we only got like,
- 23:39Speaker 3: you know, four or five movies out of him, but
- 23:41Speaker 3: you know he's a trained actor, so and it showed.
- 23:43Speaker 3: So I feel like he would have been he would
- 23:47Speaker 3: have been the best to ever do it. But since
- 23:49Speaker 3: we only got like a small serving size for sure,
- 23:52Speaker 3: but poundful pound, small serving size of what he was
- 23:55Speaker 3: capable of.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You said, small circumcise.
- 23:58Speaker 3: This is I don't small service side.
- 24:01Speaker 1: People have not used this circumcise. Usually, we only got
- 24:05Speaker 1: the small circumcises.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Because he because he did Jews, he did he did
- 24:09Speaker 3: nothing but trouble. He did Jews, he did Poetic Justice,
- 24:12Speaker 3: he did Gridlocked, he did Game Related and he did
- 24:15Speaker 3: this movie called Bullet with Mickey Rod and that was it.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Six movies.
- 24:20Speaker 3: That's all we get. And so but pound for pounds,
- 24:23Speaker 3: he's one of the strongest rappers.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Absolutely my next one. I don't know how you feel,
- 24:27Speaker 2: but I'm a stab and say I feel Donald Glover.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Okay, now he was a I feel like he was
- 24:33Speaker 3: a writer actor first, and he was.
- 24:38Speaker 2: He was probably I do think he will.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I feel like then he dipped into rapping later.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I feel like I read he was rapping, but he
- 24:47Speaker 2: didn't take off. So he went to write now acting.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I don't know that's true, but I for sure no,
- 24:52Speaker 2: he didn't release no like quintessential.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Like I would like to keep this list as straight
- 24:59Speaker 3: up people that we knew rap knew and then they
- 25:04Speaker 3: went over into active. Donald Glover is too smokey.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Also, I want to say real quick before we move off,
- 25:10Speaker 2: Donald Glover. Who is Donald Glover? Because Donald Glover the
- 25:16Speaker 2: comedian and then the actor and community and the the
- 25:21Speaker 2: like the persona he and I'm talking about, like who
- 25:23Speaker 2: he walks around as. I don't know if he is
- 25:26Speaker 2: he the pre community comedian Donald Glover. Is he childish gambino?
- 25:31Speaker 2: He's like more of a moody, artsy person now with
- 25:34Speaker 2: the beard? Did he change over sometime after he became
- 25:38Speaker 2: I feel like asty grew the beard. His whole personality changed,
- 25:42Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like his comedy is not
- 25:47Speaker 2: his persona now, and usually comics stand up is an
- 25:51Speaker 2: extension of your uh, your performance personality is an extension
- 25:56Speaker 2: of your actual personality. But I feel like I would
- 25:58Speaker 2: love to see his stand up now yeah, if he
- 26:00Speaker 2: even I don't even know if he doesn't want to
- 26:02Speaker 2: still do it because I don't know.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I don't know if I know who Donald Glover is.
- 26:06Speaker 3: I feel like I kind of can get a glimpse
- 26:09Speaker 3: of who he is. I feel like what we saw
- 26:11Speaker 3: on that stage is pretty much and like.
- 26:14Speaker 1: But he was kind of like like a lot of
- 26:16Speaker 1: the bits were like goofy and zaney'.
- 26:18Speaker 3: He's that guy. Like even though you know we see
- 26:20Speaker 3: him in interviews now he might be talking more serious
- 26:23Speaker 3: artistic cerebral stuff. But when you if you look at
- 26:26Speaker 3: the the if you watch the clips of him and
- 26:30Speaker 3: his co star of Mister and Missus Smith, their interactions,
- 26:34Speaker 3: he feels like.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That argument in the fireplace. You're talking about the argument
- 26:39Speaker 2: when they're in the fire.
- 26:40Speaker 3: No, no, this is just like an interview where they
- 26:42Speaker 3: were talking about when she asked, they're asking questions, not.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Real Okay, okay, okay.
- 26:47Speaker 3: To me, he still feels like that funny, firky comedian
- 26:52Speaker 3: guy based on how he interacts on that.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, so.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, all right. So what about Snoop? I mean
- 27:06Speaker 1: I like Snoop.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I feel like he picks rods that are close to snoopy. Yeah, snoop, snoop,
- 27:11Speaker 2: not snoopy, but snoop type thingoopy. Even in that Vampire
- 27:14Speaker 2: movie with Jamie Foxx. He was just like, this is
- 27:17Speaker 2: just snoop as a snoop in a vampire.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I don't feel like he's top ten material.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Because he's not.
- 27:24Speaker 2: There's no range. Yeah, he's believable in everything he does,
- 27:28Speaker 2: but he does pick it be snoop stuff.
- 27:31Speaker 3: It's too much snoop.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Okay, I'm putting on the outside. Yeah about nothing man.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Now method Man is showing us. He's showing us different
- 27:41Speaker 3: ranges and gages. He's he was a murderer in one
- 27:44Speaker 3: a seven. Yep, you know he was just a stoner,
- 27:47Speaker 3: a likable stoner and how high Now he's an attorney
- 27:50Speaker 3: in the Power Universe.
- 27:51Speaker 1: He's and that's cheese cheese.
- 27:53Speaker 3: He was a snaky drug dealer.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yep.
- 27:57Speaker 3: That was part silly, part dangerous.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Going without are saying, So it's like range he that
- 28:04Speaker 2: is the character like methad Man, be silly. But he
- 28:07Speaker 2: also if he ever wasn't playing, you would believe he's
- 28:10Speaker 2: not playing almost absolutely, But he was in a TikTok
- 28:13Speaker 2: with Jordan and the Stallion. He was just playing around.
- 28:17Speaker 2: So I I like methand Man on the Wire, methad Man.
- 28:21Speaker 1: That cheese is so.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Because I don't look at him as method man. When
- 28:25Speaker 3: I watched the Wire, I forget that Cheese is method man.
- 28:28Speaker 2: He is cheese and that's what I like. All right,
- 28:31Speaker 2: then cheese methan man for sure? All right, you're up,
- 28:34Speaker 2: all right, So Rapper, I'm I'm.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Luda. No, I'm not gonna do loud He was in Crash.
- 28:49Speaker 3: He wasn't Crash. He was in the Fast and Furious franchise.
- 28:51Speaker 3: He was a hustling flow. And maybe I'll come back to.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Louden Common in there, skinny Black.
- 28:58Speaker 3: M hm, he was skinny black. I'm gonna throw Common
- 29:00Speaker 3: on my list.
- 29:03Speaker 1: What is Common down that you be feeling strongly about.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I liked I liked him as Street Kings a lot. Okay,
- 29:10Speaker 3: I liked him in Smoking Aces. I liked him, man,
- 29:14Speaker 3: what do you call it? This movie called Love? And
- 29:18Speaker 3: I liked him and John Wick too.
- 29:20Speaker 2: John Wick was my favorite comment just right, he was
- 29:23Speaker 2: not hooping, And I told you, if you're not, it
- 29:27Speaker 2: takes me you're not hoping for real.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Basketball is the hardest sport to act like.
- 29:31Speaker 2: You can football. There's some stuff you could do, but basketball,
- 29:34Speaker 2: I said, Common, you is not hoping for real stop.
- 29:36Speaker 3: And I also saw him in Hell on Wheels, that
- 29:38Speaker 3: TV show. But I feel like with Common, his strong
- 29:43Speaker 3: suit is actually villain rolls. Rolls, so like when he
- 29:49Speaker 3: when he played with This or.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Killer Crazy.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Or Date Night Day Night. He's one of the dirty
- 29:58Speaker 3: cops chasing Steve. Yeah, he was one of them.
- 30:01Speaker 2: He's basically a character from John Wick in that in
- 30:04Speaker 2: that movie. He's just a cop kind of sort. But
- 30:08Speaker 2: would you think you think he can because you can veto.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I'm feeling like Common hasn't done anything that I've been
- 30:20Speaker 2: overly impressed with on the acting side. I don't feel
- 30:24Speaker 2: like he's a bad actor, but I've never been like
- 30:27Speaker 2: he's serviceable, which is.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You know, fine, But I've never been like, okay, comment
- 30:31Speaker 1: like even uh.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Even snooping baby boy as the like the murderous I'm
- 30:43Speaker 2: gonna kill you kicking the babies. It was fun I
- 30:47Speaker 2: was like, okay, one second, I don't want to he
- 30:50Speaker 2: was funny, yeah, almost done all right. Uh, But that
- 31:02Speaker 2: could also be because he's just picked roles that like
- 31:05Speaker 2: play to his strengths. And I don't know if comen
- 31:08Speaker 2: this is the other part of it. That is why
- 31:09Speaker 2: I'm going back and forth. I don't know if Coman
- 31:12Speaker 2: gets enough roles where he could be like, let me
- 31:14Speaker 2: pick something that's against type. You know what I'm saying,
- 31:17Speaker 2: Like will these other people they getting enough that they
- 31:19Speaker 2: could be like I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I feel like Common, you're gonna be you and John
- 31:22Speaker 2: Wick get over like I'm gonna do that. But he's
- 31:26Speaker 2: not bad, you know what I'm saying, Like he's not bad.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Phy sand actually is good m but he don't do
- 31:34Speaker 2: nothing like Andre three thousand. I feel like has given
- 31:38Speaker 2: me more in less opportunities. Low Key big Boy in
- 31:43Speaker 2: at L was such a surprise performance. Yeah, he hasn't
- 31:47Speaker 2: done a lot of acting, but.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like.
- 31:52Speaker 2: They just haven't. I didn't see who she carry though,
- 31:56Speaker 2: But he hasn't done enough. But I like when he said,
- 32:00Speaker 2: oh I know that what I think it is like
- 32:02Speaker 2: I was, he's old for you, And you know what
- 32:05Speaker 2: I'm saying, Uh, t I is interesting.
- 32:10Speaker 1: T I is definitely not a bad actor and he's
- 32:11Speaker 1: actually done.
- 32:14Speaker 3: They were both in American Gangster, him in Common, yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 2: And t I was playing a different character in American Gangster.
- 32:18Speaker 2: He was versus Takers to Frank, Yeah versus at L T.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I at L T.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I felt like it was just T I as a
- 32:26Speaker 2: young person, but American gangster. He had the little fro.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I was buying it.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Uh, kit Cutty hasn't
- 32:37Speaker 1: done a lot.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Kik Cutt is actually good.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I just haven't seen a lot of kid cut What
- 32:41Speaker 1: has he been in?
- 32:42Speaker 3: I seen Party on that show House Party Again. He
- 32:46Speaker 3: was on that show Made in America on HBO.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I watched that.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I never watched that.
- 32:52Speaker 3: I got to see him. You know, a couple of times.
- 32:54Speaker 3: He's a natural. He was in that Wow. He was
- 32:56Speaker 3: in that horror movie called x oh. Yeah, somebody just
- 32:59Speaker 3: mentioned x oh. Bow Wow Wow was on T I.
- 33:03Speaker 3: A man was good.
- 33:04Speaker 1: He was.
- 33:06Speaker 3: He was let me put t I up in there.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna take Common off with t I Coming.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Crooks.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Bow Wow was on but.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Y'all sleeping on Common though, No I'm not. I'm awake, y'all.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I got accurate assessment of coming.
- 33:24Speaker 3: You ain't see Street Kings, That's what I'm saying. That's
- 33:29Speaker 3: one of his strongest performances.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Okay, bow Wow was in what was it c S
- 33:35Speaker 1: I or n c I S. He was one of those.
- 33:38Speaker 3: He was on n c I S Cyber or whatever
- 33:40Speaker 3: or c s I Cyber. I never saw going to
- 33:44Speaker 3: I never saw that though. There's also too many n
- 33:46Speaker 3: c I S is well in C I S and
- 33:48Speaker 3: c S I two different.
- 33:50Speaker 2: No, no, no no, I'm just oh yeah, it's like
- 33:53Speaker 2: n c I S Sydney, like that's just man. Yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 2: n c I S New Orleans, like the people be
- 33:58Speaker 2: tuning in they do. I'd be so surprised that them
- 34:01Speaker 2: shows just be working man. T s I was my jam,
- 34:06Speaker 2: But it was with Gus. I liked Gusts and c
- 34:10Speaker 2: S I the main dude with the glass Gill. Was
- 34:14Speaker 2: it Guill or Gus gill is breaking bad?
- 34:17Speaker 3: Ain't it?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Was it Giller?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Gus is breaking bad? Is now Gus is the bad
- 34:23Speaker 2: guy breaking bad. Gill is the other scientists and breaking bad.
- 34:27Speaker 2: He was Walt's partner.
- 34:29Speaker 3: You are you talking about Wi? Gil Gris is on
- 34:32Speaker 3: c s I.
- 34:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, Yeah, Gil, what I said Gus.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Or Gil you said Gus initially and I was like Gil.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Okay, Gil, either way, that's the c s I.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah is good.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I like so the last one we got. I was
- 34:53Speaker 1: gonna take just one more.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we got most Steph will Smith, Quinn ty for Ice,
- 34:57Speaker 2: q l O Cool j Ice, t Tupac, Methan man
- 35:00Speaker 2: t I.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Man.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I like Eve, but she didn't do a lot. She
- 35:11Speaker 2: had a recent show that didn't do Queen's All, the
- 35:15Speaker 2: Queen's Men or something. Yeah, I felt like she was
- 35:18Speaker 2: just in a show and she was who drank my
- 35:22Speaker 2: apple juice? She was great and barbershop, bow Wow or Luda.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Happen?
- 35:33Speaker 2: Am I not taking bow Wow seriously as an actor
- 35:36Speaker 2: because Lottery Ticket was solid and like my.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Bow Wow has always been solid and everything I've seen him, man, Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I've never feel like he's I never feel like bow
- 35:45Speaker 2: Wow's not where he's supposed to be.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I've seen a couple of those episodes he.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Was on TV. Bruster Rhymes ain't done nothing. Riz A
- 35:53Speaker 2: Doobi and stuff. He'd be in some interesting he was
- 35:56Speaker 2: in American Gangster as well. Yeah, Rizza being some interest.
- 35:59Speaker 2: He was in that vampire movie, wasn't he he was
- 36:02Speaker 2: something weird? I didn't expect him Luda, I felt, I
- 36:04Speaker 2: mean sient. I didn't see the cancer movie he made,
- 36:08Speaker 2: but in uh.
- 36:10Speaker 1: In power.
- 36:11Speaker 2: He does a good job, but I feel like that's
- 36:12Speaker 2: not far from his personality. Luda might be the one
- 36:17Speaker 2: Lud or bow Wow, Who do you think of those two?
- 36:22Speaker 2: It's hard to take Fast and Furious movies, Seriously, That's
- 36:24Speaker 2: why it's hard to take.
- 36:25Speaker 3: That's why. That's why I'm just like, because I'm thinking
- 36:28Speaker 3: about crash, hustling.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Flow, looting, not helping Luda.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Chris was also in that Queen Latifa joint, playing her
- 36:36Speaker 3: brother in the Netflix joint where they get harassed on
- 36:39Speaker 3: the road trip.
- 36:41Speaker 2: The show was I didn't particularly enjoy that movie, but
- 36:45Speaker 2: he was so solid. You think he's better than Snoop.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he's He's shown us more, He's shown me more versatility.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I think I would go because he was He was
- 36:57Speaker 2: great in hustling. He was great in hustling, flow and
- 37:01Speaker 2: to and Fast and Furious.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I mean, you know what I'm saying.
- 37:03Speaker 3: He got the furious, He's getting the job done. What
- 37:07Speaker 3: else could he do that That franchise doesn't require a
- 37:10Speaker 3: lot of heavy lifting on that.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I don't think the world's greatest actor.
- 37:13Speaker 2: If Anthony Hopkins is in Fast and Furious, it's gonna
- 37:15Speaker 2: be like, what do you do? You know what I'm saying.
- 37:18Speaker 2: It's a fun action movie. Yeah, it's like it's not serious. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 2: so okay, I'm cool with Luda, all right, Luda? All right?
- 37:25Speaker 2: Top ten rappers turn actors most Death, will Smith, quenty
- 37:28Speaker 2: T for ice Cube, l O coolj Ic T, Tupac,
- 37:31Speaker 2: Bethem Man t I, Luda with Honorable Mentioned, Baward Woward
- 37:36Speaker 2: Common and Snoop.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yeah all right, Next up we got.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Nick Cannon is not a rapper turned actor?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Right?
- 37:47Speaker 1: Next up we got recast it today? Yes, waiting to
- 37:53Speaker 1: x hell?
- 37:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all right, we got now. I ain't gonna
- 37:59Speaker 2: hold you all, y'all gonna need to help me.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I don't know whose names.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I don't know Berna Dean, let's just go Whitney, Yeah, Loretta, Angela.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I feel like Angela was Bernad Dean and Layla Rashawn's character.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Okay, and then you got Window Piers. Okay, Gregory Hines,
- 38:27Speaker 2: Gregory Hines, we need to tap the answer to the actress.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Greg hinks.
- 38:33Speaker 2: You got Michael T. Williamson, mikelt he him in that
- 38:38Speaker 2: movie and versus Bubba Gum. You would never think that's
- 38:40Speaker 2: the same person, Mchelty, And then is it Michael Beach.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Michael Beach.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Michael Beach is the last one? All right, Okay, who
- 38:52Speaker 2: is Whitney? It helps if she's a pop singer star
- 38:57Speaker 2: doing this. I feel like it helped Whitney, Okay, and
- 39:00Speaker 2: it makes.
- 39:00Speaker 1: It harder for us.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Okay, She's got to be believable as an actress. She's
- 39:06Speaker 2: got to have had a good amount of musical success.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Even though the character doesn't matter like casting wise, it's
- 39:14Speaker 2: gonna help. It definitely helps sell the movie. Coco Jones
- 39:21Speaker 2: not and she got to be big. Coco Jones is
- 39:23Speaker 2: on the rise. I don't think she's as big as
- 39:24Speaker 2: she's not as big as they gonna And for everything
- 39:28Speaker 2: we do, she can act, but she didn't sell them.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I'm talking about Whitney was selling.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Sell everybody's selling like that no more.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Okay, let's say streaming. Then she not doing hard numbers
- 39:42Speaker 1: for sure.
- 39:42Speaker 3: The only person in R and B that is doing
- 39:44Speaker 3: crazy numbers is Scissor. But I've never seen her act.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That's true.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Ain't nobody doing.
- 39:50Speaker 2: No Crazy's a good job, and she's a serviceable actress,
- 39:56Speaker 2: but she.
- 39:57Speaker 3: She she she she's too young. Though, man, no her.
- 40:01Speaker 1: How old is her?
- 40:02Speaker 3: You think she's nights twenty, she's twenty young, her might
- 40:08Speaker 3: be thirty. Brandy, good choice, Brandy, that's the one.
- 40:15Speaker 1: She's twenty six. She's a baby.
- 40:16Speaker 3: She's a baby. Though it could be Beyonce.
- 40:20Speaker 1: You Beyonce?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Absolutely not, Okay, I will not cast Beyonce in a
- 40:25Speaker 2: non music movie.
- 40:27Speaker 1: In music.
- 40:27Speaker 2: She is Callac Records and Dreamgirls. Calac Records is my
- 40:32Speaker 2: favorite because she got it. She captured the like emotion
- 40:35Speaker 2: of Dreamgirls. Brandy can act Brandy, Brandy Norwood Junior. I
- 40:43Speaker 2: don't think there's anybody else, even Brandy Norwood. I don't
- 40:50Speaker 2: think there's anybody else. Jasmine Sullivan can act. I've seen
- 40:55Speaker 2: her in She's not as big as Brandy is.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Though.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Now Forest Forest Whitaker has a TV show about Bumpy Johnson.
- 41:03Speaker 3: She's on there.
- 41:04Speaker 2: She's Harlem.
- 41:06Speaker 3: She's on there, but she.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Played a musician. She was believable.
- 41:09Speaker 3: We know Brandy at the childs I love she's a
- 41:12Speaker 3: grown woman.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Now.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I like Brandy in the role.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I like Brandy, okay. Loretta Devine's character Kelly Rowland is fine.
- 41:21Speaker 1: She's leaned into herself lately.
- 41:25Speaker 2: She is just.
- 41:30Speaker 3: All right, So we got we got Brandy, so now
- 41:37Speaker 3: we can Scott big enough? Oh and can act. Jill
- 41:44Speaker 3: Scott can act.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I love Jill Scott as an actress.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Let's throw Jill Scott up in the Loretta Divine bro.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I was gonna say, even without the musical.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I want Jill Scott.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Because you know what, Loretta Devine had some funny moments.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I feel like Jill Scott could pull that off.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Give me Jill Scott. I want her in this with you.
- 42:07Speaker 1: She wasn't okay Jill Scott. Now Angela Basset is gonna
- 42:11Speaker 1: be the tough this one. I don't know.
- 42:17Speaker 2: We don't have to do with singing, so I don't
- 42:19Speaker 2: know who's the next Angela Basket. I think it's the
- 42:21Speaker 2: same problem with Denzel because Angela Bassett was carrying she
- 42:26Speaker 2: was carrying uh Jackson five American Dream. What's love got
- 42:30Speaker 2: to do with it? All the way up to Black
- 42:31Speaker 2: Panther ninety one one, like she's been as close to
- 42:34Speaker 2: a leading lady as you can be for her duration.
- 42:38Speaker 2: I don't think there's a black actress that I'm that,
- 42:40Speaker 2: unless I'm thinking.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Of Kiky Palmer.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Nah, y'all just doing that because she does a good
- 42:46Speaker 2: Angela Bassett impersonation. That's not the same thing as acting
- 42:52Speaker 2: like Angela basket joy small lead.
- 42:57Speaker 3: That is good broken act. She is good her in
- 43:01Speaker 3: uh in Lovecraft, Lovecraft Country. Yeah, Journey, Journey can bring it.
- 43:09Speaker 1: She was just in something I saw with Jimmie the
- 43:12Speaker 1: Jamie Fox movie as his.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Other Oh the Burial?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Have you seen that? I haven't seen that.
- 43:18Speaker 1: She's she's the other attorney against him in Burial and
- 43:22Speaker 1: she stands. She stands too well. And I like Journey.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Could you see Journey doing the walk away with the.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Fire, Yeah, that's the scene.
- 43:29Speaker 3: You can see a pistol. I can see Keiki doing
- 43:31Speaker 3: it too.
- 43:33Speaker 1: For whatever reason, Kiki is not coming across as old
- 43:35Speaker 1: enough to meet.
- 43:36Speaker 3: She does seem like a baby to me. Yeah, I
- 43:38Speaker 3: always see keky is. I know she's a grown woman.
- 43:41Speaker 1: But is she thirty?
- 43:44Speaker 3: She is? She's thirty, She's thirty on the dot. She's
- 43:49Speaker 3: just not coming in the womanhood.
- 43:50Speaker 1: How is Journey small? Let she getti right?
- 43:53Speaker 3: She gotta be like thirty one, thirty two, thirty seven,
- 43:57Speaker 3: thirty seven, thirty seven. Man, get Journey in here, Journey, Journey, are.
- 44:01Speaker 1: You feeling like we got the star power.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Whitney's a She's a constellation. Though it's kind of hard
- 44:08Speaker 2: because they're not singers. Men or women are not as
- 44:12Speaker 2: famous as they were. That's why it's be hard to
- 44:15Speaker 2: recast The Bodyguard, because Whitney was believable as that.
- 44:20Speaker 3: We had to do.
- 44:22Speaker 2: You have to you have to Taylor Swift and a
- 44:23Speaker 2: black dude as the Bodyguard. Tanna Swift you could buy
- 44:27Speaker 2: as that pop princess. And if.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I'm not doing it, but it is.
- 44:34Speaker 3: She's a musician in the in the movie she is.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Whitney is not a music lifting in The Bodyguard.
- 44:45Speaker 2: She did it, but it wasn't Beyonce. I need her
- 44:48Speaker 2: to be music like she needed to be doing the
- 44:52Speaker 2: music stuff, you know what I'm saying. Performing backstage, Whitney
- 44:58Speaker 2: was like it was all like almost like a MTV
- 45:00Speaker 2: diary version of her life. Accept the song, you know
- 45:03Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like that part, but nah, I don't.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I like Beyonce and so many things. But if you
- 45:10Speaker 2: if you said, anybody got starting Beyonce and and Chris Him's.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Work, hold on why is journey and though for y'all,
- 45:18Speaker 3: give give me solid evidence on why Journey can't pull.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Off the road for Angela Bassa's character.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Y'all gotta give me some solid ground here.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I thought we was in a grants Journey would be
- 45:41Speaker 2: he would be dope. Oh so, y'all with Journey. I
- 45:46Speaker 2: like Journey for it, Journey got it. Journey should be
- 45:49Speaker 2: Layles's character. Take Ice t off the list, we you behind,
- 45:54Speaker 2: click the live I like it, so they feel the journey,
- 45:58Speaker 2: all right.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I just but we have been talking about ice Tea
- 46:01Speaker 1: for a minute now.
- 46:03Speaker 3: She looks too young. No, we're not doing that. But
- 46:06Speaker 3: she a grown woman.
- 46:08Speaker 1: She's thirty seven. She does look young, but she is
- 46:10Speaker 1: thirty seven.
- 46:11Speaker 2: She's grown.
- 46:11Speaker 1: But in the she wasn't coming across as young.
- 46:14Speaker 3: And even even though she might look young, I felt
- 46:16Speaker 3: her as a grown woman in love Craft.
- 46:18Speaker 2: For sure.
- 46:19Speaker 3: She had That's what that's what's selling me here.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Yeah, she had the gravitas for sure. And she she
- 46:24Speaker 2: feels more grown than Kiki for me, Yes, yes.
- 46:28Speaker 1: And I love Kiki. She doesn't have sex appeal to me.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Journey has sex appeal.
- 46:33Speaker 1: And she does to me too. Yeah. Are we good?
- 46:39Speaker 3: Then? Watch out? Yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Jennifer Hudson for the Bodyguard.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I could buy.
- 46:42Speaker 3: I'm not I'm not. I'm not mad at that.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Yeah, she ain't been selling music like that.
- 46:46Speaker 3: But like beyond say can pull off the Bodyguard. But
- 46:52Speaker 3: that's the different we're getting.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Off track, Nah man, we got on track.
- 46:55Speaker 3: They want to Wanta Taylor in something. They want her
- 46:58Speaker 3: in something. She even coming up all day.
- 47:01Speaker 1: We will get him.
- 47:02Speaker 3: We talk about nothing. Taylor. Theanna Taylor like me too,
- 47:08Speaker 3: Like I gotta I gotta see her. I gotta see
- 47:11Speaker 3: her in that one film that she's leading in before
- 47:13Speaker 3: I can really assess Tianna Taylor's acting.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you're about the one she's leading.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I gotta watch that one. And I haven't seen it yet,
- 47:21Speaker 3: so I'm still I'm still chilling on Tianna Taylor for now,
- 47:27Speaker 3: but I know she can bring it. So we need
- 47:28Speaker 3: we need Layla Rashine Casts. I don't even remember what
- 47:33Speaker 3: her character was like in I.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Know Mackeltie was like you ragged right. I don't remember
- 47:38Speaker 1: a lot of her storyline.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Tony's booth for Layla's role, Nicole Bhard, I mean, I'm
- 47:44Speaker 3: not mad.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Throwing her.
- 47:47Speaker 3: We put putting the Taylor put the coal in there.
- 47:51Speaker 3: We put uh you know Shannon back up in there.
- 47:55Speaker 1: There's nothing I want to throw.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, if we're doing this, we do with this.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Bresa Webb for Laila Rashwan.
- 48:04Speaker 2: That's not bad.
- 48:04Speaker 3: I'm not mad at that.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I think Bric is. Actually they have a lot of
- 48:08Speaker 1: similar qualities.
- 48:09Speaker 3: I don't remember Laylan's character at all. Just remember the
- 48:13Speaker 3: balcony argument. I don't remember nothing else.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I could take Brisa.
- 48:18Speaker 3: I ain't seen his movies since the nineties.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I don't run back. I watched them the clips. I
- 48:23Speaker 2: watched that clip, and I watched it burning the clothes up,
- 48:27Speaker 2: Brischa Webb, Brisa Webb.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Then let's get it all right, window window Pearce.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Who's who's gotta.
- 48:35Speaker 3: What's his name? From Atlanta? Brian tyree him. I love him,
- 48:40Speaker 3: Let's do him. But can he give you like window
- 48:42Speaker 3: where he was like.
- 48:44Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 48:45Speaker 3: Because I know he has those gears. Think about him
- 48:47Speaker 3: and the guy Zilla movies.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and also it was Mafesto and the Marvels fast
- 48:56Speaker 2: those fasto. What I said, Profesto. So that's somebody else the.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Devil kind of okay, totally different guy.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Also, I don't think there's anything Brian Tyry. Henry can't

- 50:12Speaker 1: Miles, don't want no smoke, John David Washington, let's get it.
- 50:20Speaker 3: Now.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Mckelt's character. We're just basing it off.
- 50:23Speaker 3: That c the scene at the bottom of the balcony,
- 50:28Speaker 3: who could be drunk and funny Sterley K. Brown.
- 50:31Speaker 2: I was gonna say him he.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Could, he could, he could, he could take it there
- 50:35Speaker 3: he has that year. You think about him in that
- 50:37Speaker 3: gospel joint he did with Regina Hall Love Jesus. Think
- 50:41Speaker 3: about how he was acting in the American.
- 50:42Speaker 2: I was gonna say American fiction. Yeah, he never was
- 50:45Speaker 2: drunk or high, but if he went there, he was high.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I mean, he wasn't like he was high, but he
- 50:52Speaker 2: wasn't like how mackelt was like, oh yeah, K was
- 50:56Speaker 2: like getting high, but he was never like gone.
- 51:00Speaker 1: He was always aware, could take it. He just did
- 51:02Speaker 1: the drug. He was like, man, I didn't even know
- 51:04Speaker 1: he was here, Like he wasn't even like you know.
- 51:07Speaker 3: I like cling K.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Brown And Okay, I like him too.

- 51:33Speaker 3: I can see him. I can see him going to court.
- 51:38Speaker 1: With his X. I would like to see Michael Jordan's
- 51:43Speaker 1: Has he been a bad guy and anything Killer?
