  Welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. It's February 25th, 2026.

  Well, it has been a journey. It has been a nonstop journey.

  I don't want to sit here and sound as if I am, I don't want to come across negative,
• 1:33
  but let's just say that 2026 has not started off at a good note,
• 1:39
  particularly on my side.
• 1:41
  But, you know, every time you have a bad day or a bad month or a bad minute
• 1:47
  or bad hour, you have to give back and rejoice in the good things that happen in our lives.
• 1:53
  You know, sometimes we think about what is really bad for us and we not that we want to compare,
• 1:59
  but when you put sometimes your issues or your concerns against others,
• 2:08
  there are others that are dealing with things far greater than yours.
• 2:12
  Again, not to compare, not trying to say that one person's issues are deeper
• 2:19
  or more of greater need of prayer than the other. We all deal with our own is what I'm saying.
• 2:25
  But one of the things that is difficult,
• 2:27
  is trying to balance the good with the bad and the ugly.
• 2:34
  And it all starts with just getting up in the morning and, you know,
• 2:39
  you, you wake up with a positive attitude. You wake up and say,
• 2:42
  I'm going to take on the world.
• 2:43
  Then you get into your car, you turn on the news and it's all negative.
• 2:47
  It's, you know, anything you can think of anything that you can,
• 2:50
  that you don't want to hear is on the news.
• 2:53
  So somebody can say, well, that's okay. And you'll do this, wake up,
• 2:57
  you know, get ready to take on the world and don't turn on the news. Okay.

  So you skip the news, you go to work and there's negativity at work.
• 3:06
  There's people talking about others. There's no communications and you escape
• 3:11
  one error of, of negativity and you enter into another.
• 3:17
  So you say to yourself, well, that's okay. Find the good within the bad at your work environment.
• 3:23
  Then you get home and you feel like you're going to start your day off or your
• 3:29
  rest of your day off in a positive note. And then there's negativity there too.
• 3:34
  It's almost to the point where you just feel like negativity is surrounding
• 3:37
  you and suffocating you minute by minute, hour by hour.
• 3:41
  And you're losing that air that controls the way you think, controls the way
• 3:48
  you breathe, controls the way you operate.
• 3:52
  And then you get ready to go to sleep and you say, okay, let's forget about
• 3:57
  everything that just happened.
• 3:58
  And let me just go to sleep and be at peace only to find yourself in a deep
• 4:03
  sleep of a negative, nasty nightmare.
• 4:07
  When does it stop? And the alarm goes off and you're like, oh,
• 4:11
  yes, I got out of this dream. It's a new day.
• 4:14
  Only to wake up and find out that there's a two or three hour delay for your
• 4:18
  kids because you don't realize it, but it's snowing.
• 4:20
  And now you have to move along because now you have to find a way to get to work safely.
• 4:28
  Yeah, that's what it feels like. That's what it's felt like.
• 4:33
  Many of you have written to me about so many negative things that are happening in your life.
• 4:37
  So many people have written to me and said, pray for my family, pray for my loved ones.
• 4:43
  Working in a hospital and seeing all the tragedies and all the negative things that are happening,
• 4:51
  whether it's with patients, whether it's with nursing, whether it's staffing
• 4:55
  issues, just in general and in a work environment.
• 4:58
  And I'm not, I'm not for the record, knocking where I work. I love my job.

  I do. And I'm sure it happens everywhere, guys.
• 5:07
  So I know what you're thinking probably right now. And correct me if I'm wrong.

  You're like, wow, this is a negative episode.
• 5:13
  Well, I'm just trying to paint a picture. Now here's where faith comes in.

  I have to smile. I have to laugh.
• 5:22
  I have to believe and know that one way or another, God will see this through.
• 5:29
  God will provide us with vessels, with angels, with words of wisdom. I'm lucky.
• 5:35
  My vessel is a good friend of mine who works with me and his name is nick And
• 5:39
  he always finds ways to encourage me.
• 5:43
  Always tells me that things will work itself out. Reminding me.
• 5:49
  Then driving home and going into a store or facility and you run into a stranger
• 5:55
  that just says something that you go, wow, how did he know what I was feeling?
• 6:00
  And then you say, wait a minute. It's because God knows.
• 6:03
  It's because God provides us with little messages and he'll use us as a vessel to help others.
• 6:12
  Just the other day I get a text message from Dorothy a woman who I met clearly
• 6:17
  just over the phone never knew who she looked like until we miraculously ran
• 6:22
  into each other in the hallway only to find out that I would be the one to help
• 6:26
  her and her husband give his last rites,
• 6:29
  and we've been friends ever since and she writes to me as long to tell me that
• 6:34
  she's thinking about me she writes to me every morning and gives me prayers
• 6:38
  only to find that her son calls me to remind me how much he was grateful that
• 6:44
  I was there during their troubled times.
• 6:46
  So big shout outs to Dennis as I pray for him. You see, what they don't realize
• 6:51
  is I needed them just as much as they needed me.
• 6:54
  I need all of you just as much as you need me.
• 6:58
  Half-8th Let It Begin was not designed for Angel to succeed.

  that's what Have Faith Let It Begin is about. So what am I saying today?

  I'll find the good here. Went to the doctors yesterday because I've had a lump
• 7:45
  in my neck, only to find out it's a lymph node, which is nothing cancerous. It's benign.
• 7:52
  It's nothing has to be removed and it'll work itself out. Amen.
• 7:57
  We have to not try to reinvent the wheel. I have to stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

  And I have to remember that it just takes patience in prayer.

  And it's one prayer at a time. So that's what we're going to do this morning.

  We're going to wipe the slate clean.

  We're going to perform an opportunity to really hone in on prayer.

  And as many of us are struggling because we've lost a loved one,

  because we're having difficulties seeing, we're having difficulty at work,
• 8:26
  We're having difficulties with bullies. We're having difficulties with our marriage.
• 8:29
  We're having difficulties with making proper decisions.
• 8:32
  We're having difficulty because
• 8:33
  the bills keep coming in. We're having difficulties with paying rent.
• 8:37
  We're having difficulties with finding the right loved one.
• 8:40
  We have to remember there is one amazing, amazing victory.
• 8:46
  We are children of God, and our Heavenly Father will not let us fail.

  I have to remember that as I go through my daily routines and trying to figure
• 8:57
  out how to balance everything, that I have to remember that when I struggle,
• 9:02
  whether it's financially, whether it's with my marriage,
• 9:05
  whether it's with my trying to figure out how to get my kids to bed on time,
• 9:08
  whether it's trying to figure out how to stop a bully from bullying Ariel,
• 9:12
  when I have to stop figuring out a way for people to stop talking about each
• 9:15
  other, and it just, the list goes on and on.

  I have to remember as a Christian man, as a future pastor, I have to leave it at God's feet.

  I have to trust in God to do what's right because he has always had my back.

  He has always have your back.
• 9:34
  And I have to practice what I preach. And that is God loves you.

  God believes in you. God trusts in you. And God is never going to leave your side.

  Remember that today. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you,

  Lord. And I am sorry, Lord.

  I'm sorry if I've felt like I was at a distance. I'm sorry if I started to doubt like Thomas.

  I am sorry, Lord, that if I came across like Peter and tried to almost deny

  who you are, if I felt or came across that way, please, Lord,

  forgive me, because that is not my intention.

  Help me fight the good fight. Lord, help me battle this negativity.

  Lord, pray for my father. Pray for our half-eight, let it begin, family.

  Pray for our children at schools. Pray for our loved ones that are going and traveling to work.

  Pray for our EMTs, first responders, veterans, firefighters,
• 10:30
  police officers, first responders, military personnel, foreign and domestic.
• 10:35
  Pray for all those traveling, mercy travels.
• 10:38
  Pray for our ministers and pastors. Pray for everyone that is doing everything
• 10:42
  they can during these 40 days and 40 nights of Lent.
• 10:46
  Pray for those of all religions celebrating Ramanad, all the religions out there,
• 10:52
  that they celebrate their Lord, to celebrate their God.

  And let us come together as one as we pray the words that you taught us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.

  On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us

  our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation.
