Sunday, 25 August 2024 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, Matthew 3:1 “And in those days, comes John the Baptist, proclaiming in the desolate of Judea,” (CG). The previous verse ended Chapter 2, noting that Jesus was settled in Nazareth, thus He would be called a Nazarene. Now the narrative changes direction and introduces a new figure.
