- 0:43welcome, welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I am
- 0:48the Sport Shock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there and listening land.
- 0:53We have rolled round to the last Monday in March. Uh sweet sixteen
- 0:59is set for the men. After tonight, it will be set for the
- 1:03women in college basketball. War no no, no, no war Eagle no
- 1:11no more, no Moss, no no anything embarrassing. Auburn Hikers embarrassing.
- 1:19And I'm start right there for any of you ask me how my weekend?
- 1:23You know how y'all so considerate. It's terrible Auburn or excuse me, terrible,
- 1:32terrible, terrible, as my man Charles Barkley would say, terrible weekend.
- 1:38Uh, SEC. All of you go out punch each other in the
- 1:42gut, all five or six of you that lost on day one. I'm
- 1:48disappointed Auburn, but it's a lot of SEC school They sent about eight nine
- 1:53and five of them dry No Kentucky, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State,
- 1:59South Carolina, all of them dropped on day one. It goes on and
- 2:02on all that work day one, losing to cities and schools that you might
- 2:08have heard it but don't know what state it's in, or you just might
- 2:13not have heard of it at all. They were just losing too. So
- 2:16yeah, whatever, that was SEC basketball, and you know what it was.
- 2:22It was a function of the same mindset that a lot of the new
- 2:27age athlete gets caught up in, and that's underestimating the opponent, looking at
- 2:32the schedule, and that's how you're rating, that's how you're practicing. They
- 2:39tell you that it's the University of Wisconsin or someone big, you go run
- 2:45more. I tell you that it's John Baptist Christian College. Then all of
- 2:50a sudden, you want to go shoot a nil commercial instead of going to
- 2:54practice. And that's it. You see it every day. You see it
- 2:58on the pro level teams that are driven by young stars. They played the
- 3:04top teams, they either win or take it down to the wire. They
- 3:07play the teams that don't have a superstar or they think won't beat them,
- 3:13and they play all the way down to their level. It's just a thing,
- 3:17but very disappointing SCC all around for that day one display that five or
- 3:28six of you lose in the first round after people after those took great seasons.
- 3:34Most of those teams won twenty plus games to get to that point.
- 3:37But Comanchi, Greg is in the building. William Twitty is in the building,
- 3:42William the funny man himself. But Kenny is in the building. Yes,
- 3:47sir William Twitty decided to bring us some hats as a gift. William,
- 3:53Now we said thank you. I don't actually where strapped back hats.
- 4:04Don't be upset with me. I don't actually wears one of the I'm a
- 4:09fitted hat guy. I only wear these in the case that where if I'm
- 4:14at the event and the event is handing out the hat and I put it
- 4:19on for the day, so it's no knock on the I love the color
- 4:24of the hat. I think it has great style to it. Now it
- 4:27is a hat, and you should put yours on. Oh I will I
- 4:30just you know, won't sweat everybody see this. Okay, well he saw
- 4:32the Carolina, but make sure you need to wear that the rest of the
- 4:36show since it was a gift. Now, everybody else for a moment while
- 4:40he puts his on, just kind of puts yours on your head, so
- 4:44we can all say that we used his gift see the life, and he
- 4:48got he got to see us use his gift. Yeah. Now, most
- 4:54likely, I'm just telling you the guy I met since twenty eleven, the
- 5:00guy I met right here twenty eleven, twenty well, you know, see
- 5:04that guy that would correct me on air to make sure that he's specifically known
- 5:12as though I said twenty eighteen and it was twenty ten, he's got record
- 5:15I said twenty he got receipts. Receipts, so William twenty ten, which
- 5:20makes it worse right that most likely these hats stole, so you're not stolen.
- 5:29I ain't known as long as you, but I know the moment he
- 5:30came in. But I got gifts for my friend the guy, and the
- 5:33guy came to the barbershop or somewhere he was at had stolen these hats and
- 5:43he bought them, just letting you know, cometch so that I came up
- 5:48with, if you get pushed on the hood of your car, would spread
- 5:54them? Move again? One of them? However they do it? But
- 5:57can he can educate you on how the as they use? Move one more
- 6:00time? Try me see if it's Lucky Day. You know that clinic.
- 6:06We know what's in the Trump So we got on the hat. It's a
- 6:13it's a it's a uh, make America great again? Kind of Republicans?
- 6:18Is that Correctservative? Young black conservatives, Young black Republicans, young black conservatives,
- 6:26conservative, matter of fact. Shout out to Cannas on she got fired
- 6:28this week. This is her design. No, this wasn't her design,
- 6:31but you know she probably won't. But anyway, if Greg does get pulled
- 6:35over, excuse me, hold on wait anyway, But anyway, first of
- 6:40all, this is my show, so obviously you're trying to exit. Only
- 6:43I get to say, but any anyway, I didn't mean to bring it
- 6:48up. Well, you don't get to change the subject, does he?
- 6:51I don't get understand what's going on. It's two things that happened. It's
- 6:56two things that happened, and in my opinion, now I know it's early,
- 6:59but in my opinion, do things that happened went wrong here? Number
- 7:01one, he tried to take over the show and changed direction. But anyway,
- 7:05and then number two, some breaking news that I didn't know. Candice
- 7:09Owe's got fired from a job, and maybe the listeners wanted to even know
- 7:13where she worked. I didn't even know she had what was her job?
- 7:17Where does she even work? And then he just gonna gloss over all of
- 7:20that with his title she worked for the Daily What was the first turning point?
- 7:26First Daily News? Wait now, because he don't even know, I
- 7:30just know she got fired, but I see her do a lot of talk.
- 7:31I didn't think she had a job until she got fired this weekend.
- 7:33I thought she was just an independent contract and everybody says she worked for some
- 7:38company. Comand you, Greg say thank you for the hat, thank you
- 7:43as you big Kenny welcome, thank you for the hat, and Babus,
- 7:46thank you for the hat. I don't know what I was doing without the
- 7:50hat. I do know it's stolen. If nothing else is true about this
- 7:58segment. And now and now I have a problem with I'm saying, I
- 8:01love giving my friends gifts, because if you were really my friend, he
- 8:03knew I couldn't accept no stolen items. Well gifts, I get your gifts
- 8:09that you use, I'm saying, but you know I can't take no stolen
- 8:13stuff. I'm gonna get in trouble just for that. But thank you there,
- 8:18William Twitter. We appreciate it. William William Sweet sixteen is said as
- 8:24I said for the men last Monday, in the month of March. It
- 8:28seems quickly I know a lot of you out there dealing with this pollen.
- 8:31If you're in the Atlanta area, especially if you're somewhere else and the pollen
- 8:35is going as hot as heavy, get your little mask, get you some
- 8:39zertech, some Clarendon, whatever gets you going, because I know it makes
- 8:45you feel real tired out there. Just a little health, health and safety
- 8:50can stay out of the pollen out there. And then I hate this time
- 8:52of year because you can't sit out on there and eat outside. You can't
- 8:56do anything else. You can't walk outside, you can't get dressed and try
- 9:01and go someplace because when you get there, you've got piled all over your
- 9:05clothes. So now back to that Auburn game. Auburn played Yelle and the
- 9:07thing I will say about the game, because it the action that took place
- 9:13in it reminded me of something I always say doing football season when I'm doing
- 9:18my color analyst job, especially on the college and high school level. Referees
- 9:28not saying that you don't but definitely want to always remind you, almost like
- 9:33somebody over there should tell you this before you make a ruling. When you
- 9:39eject players, you have to understand the magnitude when you inject a player.
- 9:46It's one of the reasons Comanche Big Kenny William Twitty that I'm so against the
- 9:54targeting rule in college because in you know, the guy comes, he makes
- 10:01the hit. If they deem it targeting, there is no warning, there
- 10:07is no degree of targeting. It's either review of the we're gonna review it.
- 10:13If we say it's targeting, you're gone and you're throwing the player out
- 10:18as though he's not an impactful player. And it's the same thing in the
- 10:24Auburn game. Auburn's player gets bold on the way down, decides he gonna
- 10:30get a little retribution. He hits the guy on it. Was it a
- 10:33personal foul yes? Was it a flagrant file? Yes? But in a
- 10:37game that just started, do I throw out a team's second best player?
- 10:46Was it enough? That's how you need to be looking. Was this ingredious
- 10:50enough to throw out the person the second best player on this play? And
- 10:58I just want to say that to the referees because yesterday I saw a lot
- 11:01in the men's and women's side, any kind of fall on the ground,
- 11:05any kind of player make contact, even if they're making their move, if
- 11:11I hit you in the head, they were calling fragrant flagrant files And I
- 11:15was like, so, basically, the rule is if you hit anybody in
- 11:18the head, now flagrant, You're calling a flagrant even if I'm making a
- 11:24move. And it's just and we'll talk about on the other side of the
- 11:28break. Is just something I know, uh that stood out to me in
- 11:31the Auburn Yale game because Auburn's second best player And that's not why we lost.
- 11:37We lost because we wasn't hitting hidden free throws at the end. But
- 11:43I've always said that in the game because referees sometimes it's like me throwing a
- 11:48referee out for missing a call. They wouldn't want that. They would see
- 11:56that as hold on, well, you just you're you're throwing You gotta know
- 12:00the weight of what you're doing. You're throwing a player out the game.
- 12:03It needs to be some blood on the ground. It almost needs to be.
- 12:07There is no other option but to throw you out for what you did.
- 12:13We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. My family,

- 15:16no, Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day on the Sports
- 15:20Jock Show. Has taken it to a completely different level this year where we
- 15:24highlight an appolete that has taken their game to the next level. Sports Shocks
- 15:54Show. I'm the Sports Shocks Wayne Candy, Good morning. Tell you out
- 15:58there and listening only in the Bappaduca stopped playing around with your hat. Bro,
- 16:03nobody sees it. Let it go, we rock you rocking to Donald
- 16:07Trump hat? You distracted me. You don't move that. North Carolina had
- 16:11full times the need to take it. Put it in the car this relax
- 16:18over there, Command Greg in the building. Referees throwing people out of games.
- 16:26One referee yesterday in the Chattanooga North Carolina State game first round game was
- 16:32also released at halftime of the game, Tommy Paris had a background conflict.
- 16:42They found out during the which is interesting that far into the game. I
- 16:47don't know if maybe some of the officials at the arena doing the broadcast,
- 16:52maybe somebody recognized them. Uh, and that's how they found out. Because
- 16:57it for a game to start, and you let a referee ref the game,
- 17:03he suited it up and then you pull them to me maybe something in
- 17:07the arenas it happened. Do you know what happened? Commanding. Oh,
- 17:11she she has a master's degree from Chattanooga, and so you're not supposed to
- 17:19have any association with the school that you're officiating. Now, how do you
- 17:25think it fell so far into that. I even I didn't just make it
- 17:29to the stadium. I made it to my uniform and my first that's what
- 17:36I'm saying. And I'm sure I didn't mind my masters, right, Yeah,
- 17:41the masters on the way to the game. It was something that you
- 17:45probably could have known about it. You're telling me I go to do a
- 17:48game and you don't find I graduated from Auburn until halftime. Like that's a
- 17:52clerical error. That's that's paperwork that someone didn't read. Yeah, that's what
- 17:57I mean. And I don't put it on her her because in her mind,
- 18:03I wasn't hiding it. She just might have been surprised you sent me
- 18:06to this game, Like, Okay, I guess maybe they don't do that
- 18:10anymore. You know, some people will look at this and think, oh,
- 18:14she should have stepped up. No, yeah, the assignment you gave
- 18:19it. She changed the degree on her wall, you know. No,
- 18:26No, I didn't go to that school. I went to a different school.
- 18:30Corrects unless she hit it on the resume or something like that. It
- 18:33is not her fault. If the assignment, she could have been happy and
- 18:38surprised at the same time, like very surprised, like I'm going to get
- 18:44to watch my alma manter and maybe there's something new there starting. They're they're
- 18:48trying to see you never know when you have to test subject. Maybe they
- 18:52trying to see how I would do a game of my team. Maybe you
- 18:56know, I don't know how it. I'm just saying this is on the
- 19:00official Yeah, whoever, whatever the department, it's supposed to be scheduling from
- 19:06what we know. And now if we find out next tomorrow she never told
- 19:11them she went to Chattanooga, then it's on hurt. But if you just
- 19:17sent me on assignment, well most of them and to me, if you
- 19:22made it to have you need to finish the game, Yeah, you in
- 19:25the fact the fact of the game. Now you're on the court, you
- 19:27didn't kill the spread. Well, most time you're supposed to. Well,
- 19:32I know on the islevel, you're supposed to eliminate the schools that you have
- 19:36some kind of uh situation with, But just being a tournament, they probably
- 19:41the assigners. They probably had to just place and they didn't know how it
- 19:45was going to go, and they probably got pauled fell in lying, oh
- 19:49you got this game, and she was and her crew was already assigned.
- 19:52So I would say she should have stepped up and said, Hey, I
- 19:56attended this university, can you pull me from this game. I don't think
- 20:02that Tommy should have done anything but go and referee. Yeah, because it
- 20:07isn't that sort of indicating that you are projecting onto me that I might do
- 20:11something immoral or unprofessional. No. I mean what I'm saying is I could.
- 20:15I don't know how long this lady has been officiating, but if she
- 20:19hasn't had any problems up till now, and now you're you're going to wait
- 20:25and get me in the middle of a game, because the air of impropriety
- 20:30that goes along with being dismissed after me the game, to me is damaging
- 20:37to me professionally. So well, somebody had to call in or something who
- 20:41knew she went there, because, like as I stated before, you have
- 20:44whatever affiliation with your kids or someone work there. You yourself to those schools,
- 20:49school schools, but you're supposed to let your assigners know. And so
- 20:53at that point, which she's, like I said, when she even though
- 20:56it's a tournament and you get slotted in, and then you never know how
- 21:00the tournament may go, how the teams who may win, who may lose.
- 21:03When she realized that the team that she was a member had an affiliation
- 21:07with, she should have said, hey, I'm with this, called her
- 21:10a signer, can you reassign me somewhere else? I have affiliation with this
- 21:14team? That's all. Are they reporting that she didn't do that, I'm
- 21:18not for sure. I'm just saying someone had. They're saying that. They're
- 21:25just saying that's what was found out, that's what right, And and so
- 21:29you've built this narrative that somehow it was known and she should have and maybe
- 21:36she did do all of those things, and they missed it up until that
- 21:40and and and the third option is they didn't miss it at all, and
- 21:44and just they sent her to do the game right, And if nobody's won't
- 21:48say anything, then we're just gonna let it ride because this young lady has
- 21:53earned her turn thanks to referee. Right, Well, you just went to
- 22:00the lady until I through a whole nother spin. If you wanted to say
- 22:06thank you, then this should have been the angle you should have brought.
- 22:08William William, I'm just saying that she earned it, but she's trying to
- 22:15teach you point counterpoint. If you if this is the big lighter up moment
- 22:21you wanted, then this should have been the angle you brought. You brought
- 22:25the angle where Tommy was wrong. It should have came and confessed. Well,
- 22:30maybe she did, as Big Kenny's saying made it. Everybody was doing
- 22:33their job and if no one from Chattanooga or North Carolina State is gonna say
- 22:41anything, we're gonna let the game roll. I'm with that, but no,
- 22:45you were not with that two minutes ago. We'll be back with that.
- 22:48We'll be back shows all going right. When I first laid high as,
- 22:55I was offul and tice and I might be off something, but I'm
- 22:56all in. She got a call in now. I don't think you should
- 23:00work tomorrow. Joh'm bow Away or of The Sports John Show with Wayne Dan

- 26:26Imagine that the great receiver for the Dolphins right now running towards the Hall
- 26:33of Fame. What if he was not fast, he would just be regular
- 26:41receiver? Mm hmm. Kind of going along with the question that was asked
- 26:48with Matt Painter, the head coach of Purdue, where the reporters say that
- 26:52his star center Zach Edie, it's just good because he's tall. If you
- 27:04can't figure out, well, you know that really makes no sense because you
- 27:07know, it's like a mathematician being smart, like you only a good mathematician
- 27:15because he's smart smart? Right, somebody fired this reporter, this is what.
- 27:21After the game yesterday where Purdue one one oh six to sixty seven in
- 27:27the game, beating Utah State in the second round, making it to the
- 27:32Sweet sixteen, the coach at the press conference was asked, what do you
- 27:37say to the people who say, Zach Edie, who looks like he's going
- 27:44to be the second year in a row to player of the year, is
- 27:47only good because he is tall? Well, you know, in a sport
- 27:52like basketball, where height is like one of the more premier things that you
- 27:59need, I say, dug, he good because he thought how novel the
- 28:08concept? Y'all, y'all, you you called us, bro, You called
- 28:14us trying to sneak a dude with a lot of height into a basketball game.
- 28:18So four comes in handy, Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and confess
- 28:25any team in Southern Miss, any team Oklahoma, Auburn, North Carolina,
- 28:30set the Hawks, Me, me, my mama and a couple of pots.
- 28:34Everybody's looking for some dude seven foot that can do anything with that wingspan.
- 28:40Me and my mom and me, my mama and a couple of piles
- 28:41from the Why we need a dude seven four and we can even if he
- 28:45can't play, he can just be seven, can you yeah? Can you
- 28:49get back down to the other side, can we run? Yeah? Can
- 28:52you be bawl or Sean Brown? Ye? Hold high? Just get on
- 28:59your tippy toe and on the tippy toes you all star material. And these
- 29:03other people that they're getting getting sports reporting jobs too, And it's sad that
- 29:07you would go and it makes literally no sense. It really only reason he's
- 29:15good because he punches hard. I think that's what you wanted a boxer.
- 29:19Yeah. Man, he ain't really got to quit. So I know one
- 29:25thing. If he hits you with that one two combo, then lights out
- 29:30one. Now, he ain't got no footwork, no footwork, He ain't
- 29:33fuck nobody important. He don't do none of that. But he noted everybody
- 29:37out everybody else. And he's terrible though. He can only go about two
- 29:42rounds. But he only had to go forty seconds in his long at fight.
- 29:47It was forty seconds. So I don't even know. Whatever paper or
- 29:51whatever outlet needs to like, maybe send him to some different reporting. He
- 29:56doesn't I don't want to lose his job. He doesn't get the concept of
- 30:00basketball because in basketball, the coach you know even when I tell my story
- 30:08of how I got into football. Well, if you're in the eighth grade
- 30:12and you walk into football coaches locker room and you're six two two fifty,
- 30:23what do you think the coach is thinking? Ah, jack jackpot, I'm
- 30:32gonna see. Can I be his agent? Hey, come here, young
- 30:34man, Please tell me you got some sort of struggle. We could say
- 30:37up to the draft coverage people because they gonna love your story. Yeah,
- 30:42so you look anything that require big dude, I'm gonna need you to play
- 30:47it. We need a big dude in uh bast game. He told me
- 30:51I was his nose tackling. Okay, there you go. I got your
- 30:53nose tackle. I got you in the middle. I gotch how to play
- 30:57football. Don't make a difference. Just be out there. Actually, I
- 31:02don't even really want to play. Just we're gonna squeeze you into this jersey
- 31:06and I'm gonna just stand you in front of the quarterback and then you just
- 31:10hold your arms out and we're gonna go to state championship and then you can
- 31:12play basketball for me too, and then I want you to wrestle. But
- 31:18the question though, no, see, this is what I'm saying sportsack.
- 31:22We we keep on thinking about it from professional journalism standards, from the standard
- 31:26of people who care about sports and want to be informed accurately. The the
- 31:33new everybody can get involved social media generation feels like they can and do steal
- 31:41in real time contact and ask these and pose these questions to these reporters.
- 31:48So see, kids, you can be a reporter too, because the stupid
- 31:52stuff you think actually comes out of their mouths and goes to these coaches,
- 31:56and because it's supposed to be user for well, I mean even with the
- 32:02situation when we're talking reporters now, with the Kilmulkee situation with the AP reporter
- 32:07she talking about Sue and to watching the post because they're going around telling her
- 32:13players if you say something bad about it will give you you could be anonymous.
- 32:16So these, like you said, these reporters are just sitting back trying
- 32:21to get a story and somebody is an editor or someone is signing off on
- 32:24this. Uh, there's of Matt Painters response. If you want, Okay,
- 32:30real quick, let's hear what the head coach of Purdue had to say
- 32:32to this question. That is center at seven four only really makes an impact
- 32:37because he's tall. You see people you know around the country, even you
- 32:43know fans, but even people that cover the game say he's just tall.
- 32:46What would you say to the people that say that that are only looking at
- 32:51the size and not just the game. Yeah, they just shouldn't cover basketball.
- 32:55Yeah, you know, so, like you go to school and you
- 32:59learn or whatever, but we all don't like every single class we're in,
- 33:02right, It's kind of a necessary evil. It's like going to work,
- 33:06like you don't like everybody you work with, or you don't like certain parts
- 33:08of your job, and you know, it's tough, right, you got
- 33:12to be able to deal with like certain things that are difficult. And so
- 33:15I just think everybody should like take tests on their knowledge of what they're doing.
- 33:19Like I think all coaches should take a test so they understand refereeing,
- 33:22and I think all referees should take a test or they understand coaching. And
- 33:27I think all journalists should have to take a basketball quiz or a test or
- 33:30anybody that tweets, they should have to be able to do it. And
- 33:32if they say something so moronic as that, then they should have to have
- 33:36a probationary status where they can't tweet for like three months. I think it'll
- 33:40help like society, you know, like just try to knock out the fools,
- 33:45you know, so they don't have to coach. Painter standing up for
- 33:49his player basically seeing echoing what we're saying that. Yes, we're all.
- 33:55If your grandson, you go visit your grandson and hadn't seen him in a
- 34:00year or two and he comes out of the garage at twelve and he's six
- 34:07ten, somebody need at least driving by basketball gym just to see, just
- 34:14to hey, grandson, just let's go catch this ball. Okay, no,
- 34:19not with your face. Not Let's try it again. Catch the ball.
- 34:22That's practice, is not a lot. We ain't gonna bully you and
- 34:25just make you stay out here. But let's see maybe can you run?
- 34:30He fail? It's okay, get up, come on, let's try it
- 34:34again. Let's try it again. I just want to go play video games.
- 34:37Yeah, I know. Run. He fell again. Look let's just
- 34:40stand here, put your hands up. Okay, you could do that.
- 34:44He got his arm caught in the rim. Look that's all right, son.
- 34:46Let's move out a little bit and just spread your op. There you
- 34:52go, there you go, boy, right, there with your arms out
- 34:54to the side, spread your legs all he fell down. Don't spread your
- 34:59legs so far. And then taken from there to the Nike camp. Yes,
- 35:04and then you get a whole bunch of money and gifts and somebody's gonna
- 35:07be thinking, man in seven years, he's sixteen today, yeah, and
- 35:10he's twelve. What is he gonna be in seven years? But I'm like
- 35:15this coach, he needs to be on a probationary for that question right there.
- 35:21And he said that generation that tweets and everybody feels like what they have
- 35:28to say is valid. Zach Edie and Purdue will take on Gonzaga next weekend
- 35:35in the Sweet sixteen, so you get to see the big fellow who most
- 35:37likely will win the Player of the Year again and be a top three or
- 35:42four pick. Teams especially just looking for that center piece. Remember, especially
- 35:45in the NBA, they're just looking for that big body. You got some
- 35:50teams like the Golden State Warriors, they are not looking the Mavericks. We
- 35:57don't even want you to score. Want you to put this seven fourth frame,
- 36:01like Vic Kenny is saying, and stand right here. We got four
- 36:06guys over here that are getting forty. I already got enough of them.
- 36:08What I don't have is you. I got a whole bunch of guys that
- 36:13know how to see season one, we just want your arms up. By
- 36:15season number two, we want one arm up and out to the side.
- 36:20We're gonna work on the fundamentals just and just shuffle to the side. And
- 36:22if you can do a couple of alleys, oh wow, man, I
- 36:27might name you to the All Star tap back in just easy tipping. That's
- 36:30Rudy Gobert making all that money. Defensive Player of the Year, that's what
- 36:36he does. He rebounds, he blocked shots, altar shots, and we
- 36:40got guys that it's enough guys in the NBA that can score forty points.
- 36:45You can find scores. What I can't find is big men that can alter
- 36:49shot, slide side to side. That the little things and bogut. So
- 36:55yeah, he's winning because he's tall, was tall. Even though he made
- 37:04Win Player Theater, he's not valued the same way. So he made he's
- 37:08rejected as a second round to undrafted pick oh no for some for some somehow,
- 37:15because he's not valued the way that you know, we would think he
- 37:19would be. And that's why I said there because there's select teams that have
- 37:22players like a Golden State. They don't look for their center to do anything.
- 37:30That's why Andre DeAndre Ayden is that his name. That's why he wanted
- 37:36out of Phoenix because he felt like he could score and y'all just want me
- 37:40to do that big kennything. And he was sitting there like, no,
- 37:45I got I got to check these barns out. And he just wanted to
- 37:50use my beat and the sons like we need you to make beats. We
- 37:59just make beats. He's like, no, listen, I got a hot
- 38:01six when I was first. No, no, stop the producer guy,
- 38:06We'll be back more to Sports doc show right after news Well ban John't bowl.

- 41:06John Winge, Candy beswing logon, say you can see the sports.
- 41:30Jint, I'll shing even Canny Wall back to the sports. Shock, shut
- 41:37the spot, Shock, Wayne Candy. There's no bigger name in sports,
- 41:40not just college sports and sports. And Caitlyn Clark. Caitlyn Clark and her
- 41:45Iowa team will do battle tonight to try to get into the Sweet sixteen.
- 41:50They had a slow start the other day against Holy Cross and then eventually in
- 41:54the second half blew out holy Cross ninety one to sixty five. But there
- 42:01was an instance in the game where you could see Caitlyn Clark's dad, Brett
- 42:07adamantly yell at her. Now he's in the stands, She's on the floor,
- 42:12so we don't know if she saw him or not to stop complaining to
- 42:17the referees. And he sparked me because I was watching this game to wonder
- 42:25why, because when I watched a little bit of the LSU game as well
- 42:30with our girl Angel Reese, why And we see in the why does do
- 42:37athletes once they get that stamp of stardom or the star player go into the
- 42:45complain state? Why do you think it is almost hand in hand because you
- 42:52can watch a guy play for a team for three or four years and finally
- 42:54come out of his shell in his fourth year, right, and then come
- 42:59out year fifth excuse me? And now he is he feeling himself? Is
- 43:06she feeling herself? What happens that makes you start now becoming the wine?
- 43:15That's tough. If you feel like you have that status, then you're supposed
- 43:19to get those calls. So yeah, it's a matter of them like they
- 43:22started for the first three years. You you wasn't complaining, he was just
- 43:24doing. You was just baling. Feel like they earned that respect from everyone.
- 43:30I've been stamped from officials to the players, to my colleagues, my
- 43:35peers. Uh, they feel as though they've been stamped. I I've seen
- 43:38her father getting on tour, like you said, just thought, but to
- 43:44me, she would if some of us look at his complaining. I've looked
- 43:47at it like she was asking questions. She just had questions concerted to make
- 43:52sure. Well, bad producer, no matter how you want to shape it
- 43:54up. It started becoming now I want to have conversations with the referee all
- 44:00like above her don't count all that kind of And I'm saying that you said
- 44:07that they feeling themselves feel like they've earned that respect. To me, it
- 44:12seems to shade more in the box of entitlement in that I'm we're calling it
- 44:21the Caitland Clark effect. And so now I had this move in mind and
- 44:27I was gonna do it, and then they got in front of me and
- 44:30it was really some good defense. But to me it should have been a
- 44:32foul because it messed up the move, and ref, you don't want to
- 44:36do anything about that. I mean, you know, it's kind of messing
- 44:39up the Caitland Clark effect. Ref, you don't want to do anything about
- 44:44that. And that's what it seems like to me. Generally, we have
- 44:47accepted in sports that numbers don't lie, ball don't lie. So the refs
- 44:53have been trusted to make those calls all of this time, and she has
- 45:00been trusting them to do that up until this. And I saw the same
- 45:05thing watching LSU play with Angel Reese and the rest of their last year when
- 45:12they were elbowing their way to the championship and letting everybody get some who like
- 45:19some of the little smoke? You want some smoke? Yeah, yeah,
- 45:24smoke around here. Now this year they come back and it's reugh, didn't
- 45:30you see me? They're all over there with the hold on. Now that's
- 45:34not is this LSU? Because l S you don't take notes. Now they're
- 45:37looking to get other teams in foul. And now they're scared of the giant
- 45:44woman from which everybody. At least three games yesterday I heard commentators referred to
- 45:52the big person on the woman's team as giant. Yes. Yes, they
- 45:57watched a lot of basketball yesterday. Yes, and three different game. I
- 46:00want to say, Kansas State was playing maybe Oregon State, and the center
- 46:05and the lady was referencing that giant body in the middle right now if she
- 46:10didn't place Brazilian or any of that on it, but they referred to And
- 46:15then I watched another game they referred to and this just goes back to Don
- 46:19Staley and her ripping the media for the people referring to her center and I'm
- 46:25like, well, it seems like a descriptive word when you put in the
- 46:30bigger person, the young lady. What's the USC or Iowa State state?
- 46:37The score forty nice side on her that giant. Nobody wants that giants size.
- 46:44And they referred to her as that, and I'm like, well,
- 46:45that's just a descriptive word that goes along with her. But I do notice,
- 46:52And those were the two references. Was Caitlyn Clark and the LSU team.
- 46:57It was surprising for them because they used to be the ones let me
- 47:01set in the tempo and now they're on the ground. They would have one
- 47:06that showed it right, and it's like, come on, hold on,
- 47:08unless you showed up at the party uninvited. It was like, put me
- 47:13out if I'm not supposed to be it. Just put me out then,
- 47:15and and nobody could do it. And now they're all like they bumped passive
- 47:22aggressiveness. Well I'm saying that's why I said with the why now what happens?
- 47:25Yeah, as soon as I labeled you superstar, so now you go
- 47:30into the I'm almost untouchable. How could you call that on me? That's
- 47:35a foul, like you know, like I'm above regular regulations, above fouls.
- 47:44Yeah, the girl is blind, she's on the ground blind. You
- 47:46didn't hit her, nor you a star, so you ran to me.
- 47:54Okay, Okay, I get it. Rules, Okay, you just you
- 48:00just gonna you're gonna call me punching that girl? So io tonight. I
- 48:05don't know who Aye was playing, but also Yu Khan, who is threatening
- 48:08to be one of those teams too that might make that Elite eight or Final
- 48:13four behind Page Becker's those teams play today on the women's side. We'll be

- 51:12want to do. Make you this one, Shock Shine, This what shock
- 51:22Wayne Gandy. There are certain cities where it ain't gonna happen. Hello.
- 51:30These are the words of Dion Sanders, the head coach of Colorado Buffalo's.
- 51:37Some of you know him as must be the Money. Others know him as
- 51:40coach Prime Prime Time, William Twitty in the building, Comanche Greg, Hey,
- 51:50you hup? And that's all it never is. You gotta get the
- 52:00girl ready even a little bit more. And that is that's the That's the
- 52:08Dion Sanders, the Prime Time I know right there. But Dion makes hilarious
- 52:15claims concerning his son Chador, saying, there's anne Travis Hunter about next year's
- 52:22draft. Uh, basically, he's letting you know that Travis Hunter is leaving
- 52:28early, just in case you didn't think the star receiver who just bought his
- 52:32mom a house with that, Travis. I would tell you just slow down,
- 52:38slow down. I don't know why d I didn't tell you as well,
- 52:42slow down. One of your top five ways of becoming broke is spending
- 52:51money that you have not achieved. The sports Shock has said in the locker
- 52:57room with a lot of players who went to spending the second contract, and
- 53:04the second contract never came, whether that was due to injury or lackluster play
- 53:13or competition where you was dreaming of one hundred million but you only got sixty.
- 53:22So pump your break. This is some advance. This is advice,
- 53:28financial advice. I'm giving you, young man. It's a great thing.
- 53:31But from what I know, and I don't know your finances, but at
- 53:37twenty one, you seem to not have raked in a lot of enough money
- 53:42that if something happened next year, that you could just be making I understand
- 53:51you want to move mom and all that. I'm just telling you something I've
- 53:54seen so many times. Part of the story. Whenever you hear about these
- 54:00people going broke, it becomes I spent future revenue that I hadn't gained,
- 54:09and then I'm sitting there. I'm sitting there. But and that's just it.
- 54:14I'm just giving you that advice. Beautiful thing that you did, definitely
- 54:16great that you know. Guys can get women can get around to maybe doing
- 54:21this earlier because of the n I l and all that. Sure, but
- 54:25I'm telling you I know what you did. You did, Oh, I'll
- 54:30make this up first pick And you're right too. That is most likely how
- 54:37it will go. That is most likely, but you're still playing a sport
- 54:43that's full of injuries and full of infore that could could derail that thought.
- 54:54And things happened. Things happen, So it's kind of you's better to kind
- 55:00of pace yourself to spend it as you get it, then to spent it
- 55:04before you get it. That's when you catch yourself in a lot of trouble
- 55:07in this kind of world where the injury component especially affects guys. And I
- 55:15played with guys that they just knew they were about to hit a lick.
- 55:19They spent the whole first contract. About you talk to them, they got
- 55:25about fifty five hundred dollars left left in their pocket waiting to get a new
- 55:30deal. And it sounds talking about they don't made forty million dollars. But
- 55:35you know, mama straight, I got my two baby, Mama straight,
- 55:39I got my three rose royces, I got my two cribs, I got
- 55:45my potting in them good, and I got this eight thousand left. But
- 55:50the contract coming up at the end of the summer, so I to be
- 55:53good. And that's what I'm saying. It could be most of the time
- 55:57it's injury. The second thing is the year that you went out to play,
- 56:00you didn't have as good a year. Somebody else started becoming the first
- 56:06guy that they thought would be at that position. Right, So you didn't
- 56:08get the money you thought you were going to get. Right, So be
- 56:14very careful in there. And you you talked to the Antoine Walkers and the
- 56:17and the Alan Iverson's, these are the things they'll tell you they didn't have
- 56:22a plan. I was readnarticle the other day about Ayah. He said he
- 56:25just didn't have a plan for retirement, like he didn't. He really wasn't
- 56:30looking past that bridge. He was just living right now, which is you
- 56:35know some people have that yo low kind of Yeah. Yeah, I mean,
- 56:39but and I'm sure that I'm sure that in the broad scheme of things,
- 56:44people who aren't familiar with money get large sums of money and in their
- 56:49mind that money can never run out. I don't care what you think that
- 56:53I'm doing, forty million dollars gonna always be forty million dollars. And then
- 57:00you're not taking into account taxes and fees and all of these other things.
- 57:04And then you look up and you're not taking into account. How the things
- 57:07that you buy with that money, well, forty million dollars is basically twenty
- 57:12million dollars after you pay taxes, seeing and agent fees. And then when
- 57:17you got twelve family members living off of twenty million dollars, now it's no
- 57:23longer twenty mines twelve divided into twenty and next thing you know, you've lived.
- 57:29And I'm just giving him because I've called the kids games in high school,
- 57:31and I am so proud that he's living up. I love when people
- 57:36live up. That's what me and the bad producer disconnect with a lot of
- 57:39times. I love when people live up to the expectation. Yes, nothing
- 57:45greater than that. They say you coming, and you come, show up.
- 57:52I'm here. So with Travis Hunter, he was the first person in
- 57:57his class coming out player, and he is living up to that. That's
- 58:02why people, oh man, coach Prime, No, Coach Prime, don't
- 58:06have Travis Hunter doing nothing. Travis Hunter is doing Travis Hunter. That's why
- 58:10that's what Coach Prime went and got him for. So he could just put
- 58:14him on the field. Man, just go out there and do that Travis
- 58:15Hunter thing. All I'm saying, I ready got his mom on a new
- 58:19house, which is a beautiful thing to be able to bless your mom with.
- 58:22But make sure you kind of pace yourself because you're twenty one. I
- 58:25got a long life I had. It's a long financial life. Like I
- 58:30tell people all the time, especially the NFL, they make you live the
- 58:35fifty five to even get a retirement check. So if you retired at twenty
- 58:38six, you got to dig for almost a thirty thirty years to get it
- 58:43there. Yeah, I'm gonna remember that house I bought you. I'm gonna
- 58:46have to move in with you. Right after this my city Hall and on
- 58:52coach sun in this way coming up next, Doty right around in his shotgun
- 58:55and her testing hanging both of my legs out of like what's up? I
- 59:00got steak sent a too high no case jump don't go away? Or of
- 59:06the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dan videos coming up next, And now let's
- 59:10talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage
- 59:15represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 59:21life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just
- 59:23getting started with our family and thought we live forever life insurance. What's the
- 59:27last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits
- 59:30or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills
- 59:34piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's
- 59:36what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power,
- 59:39and life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:44Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family
- 59:46with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or
- 59:50fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot, All you need is
- 59:53the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security, because without you,
- 59:58your family will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will
- 1:00:02you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills? Dot com? That's
- 1:00:07benefits or bills dot com? Hello man, where are you? I thought
- 1:00:14you were coming. I can't I'm in bed with the flu the flu.

- 1:01:47I'm gonna do it begin I'm gonna go on the way you vegan. Welcome
- 1:01:53back to the Swy Shock Show, The Spy Shock Wayne Dandy. If you
- 1:01:57missed any of that first hour of the Sports Struck Show, you can go
- 1:02:00to Apple Podcast, Spotify, Amazon Podcast, Audible, Deezer, or iHeart
- 1:02:07Radio. We talked about Zach Zen. We talked a little bit about Caitlyn
- 1:02:14and the LSU and what happens with that when that superstar get on you,
- 1:02:17why do you become such a complainer? We talk big about my sorry Auburn
- 1:02:23Tigers and the SEC's performance in the first round the Sweet sixteen. It said
- 1:02:29one thing about it real quick. I wanted to make sure before I forget,
- 1:02:31should the male brackets n C double A male basketball adop what the women's
- 1:02:39side do in the first round where the home team plays from home, they
- 1:02:44don't move the teams that are I think ranked one or two they play at
- 1:02:51home. Should that be something NC DOUBLEA maybe look to do because it seems
- 1:02:55like those arenas was packed. I know women's basketball has been big, but
- 1:03:04when you look at some of those games and you're sending teams like an Auburn,
- 1:03:08like a Yale and some of those teams to the state of Washington.
- 1:03:15There's no fan base if you don't give them something from Washington. Those fans
- 1:03:19are not going to just run out because you're to use Idahos pep band.
- 1:03:23They had to send in T shirt. They gave them t shirts that was
- 1:03:27actually Idaho's pep band, right, And I didn't even know that, but
- 1:03:30you understand, like you know you watched the Yukon or LSU game, these
- 1:03:36games are packed because these are where the women, at least in the first
- 1:03:39round, where they go to school. I didn't think about it until I
- 1:03:43was watching this weekend. I was thinking, man, that might be something
- 1:03:45they need to adopt. But where we moved to a neutral site for the
- 1:03:49Sweet sixteen, But you know, we've always sold, It's always been sold
- 1:03:54the men's March Madness basketball termurnament as a pad to any city that hosts it.
- 1:04:04Bottom line, So cities are campaigning, areas are campaigning to have the
- 1:04:12games where they are because of the amount of revenue that it generates. But
- 1:04:17that was when people used to be more wanted to see the game period.
- 1:04:25Right now, you have a lot of division. If it's not my team
- 1:04:31I'm not going to unless you can sell me a component to watch. Why
- 1:04:36to watch? If it's not my team, I don't tune in. And
- 1:04:40I think the bottom line will dictate that when they start seeing a drop in
- 1:04:45the attendance and the sales and more revenue on TV or more viewership, they'll
- 1:04:49probably start going. If you take Army, you let Auburn play Yale in
- 1:04:55Auburn sell out, complete sellout. I watched Aubrey Yale like he's saying,
- 1:05:00and where they were out in Spokane, Washington, there was nobody in the
- 1:05:04seats. It's like the fans of the other two teams that are out there,
- 1:05:10they're only coming. And I've been to those tournaments. I've been to
- 1:05:13the SEC Tournament. I've sat there and gone in and to see Auburn.
- 1:05:19But when this game before me, if Mississippi State is playing Tennessee, once
- 1:05:24that game over seventy percent of that crowd leads, you'd be thinking, oh,
- 1:05:30no, they're here to watch basketball, and it's like, no,
- 1:05:32they're here to watch the Mississippi State Tennessee. But if you put it in
- 1:05:38a just something to look at, whether to stay on it long when the
- 1:05:41n T actually is like that. It started at the first two rounds.
- 1:05:45If I'm not mistaken, possibly it's played at the higher seeds home location,
- 1:05:49and that's how it originally was started out with. The tournament originally started in
- 1:05:54that manner. Well, last segment, we were talking about coach Prime d
- 1:05:57On saying there's a Colorado Buffalo's not as much excitement about them this off season
- 1:06:03as far as all the build up, but there is a lot of expectations.
- 1:06:08I think that Dion, his son Travis Hunter, is more internal pressure
- 1:06:15to succeed this year. People won't be as dismissive last year. You can
- 1:06:23put the whole it was the first time he got there. He got rid
- 1:06:27of all these players each and every year that he's at Colorado underneath his own
- 1:06:32team, then it starts becoming whatever your record is on you. I bought
- 1:06:39that excuse last year because oh you didn't have enough this, and I was
- 1:06:42doing that this year. Internally, it will be more eyes on the production
- 1:06:47from the college, from the powers that be. They're not going to give
- 1:06:53you that slight anymore. But his big statement was there are certain cities where
- 1:06:58it ain'ked going to happen, and he was referring to his son Shaduur and
- 1:07:03his best player, Travis Hunter, and coming out in the draft, basically
- 1:07:08going on record to say that if it's not when the draft comes Brown,
- 1:07:13if a city that he deems, I don't know if they're giving him that
- 1:07:16power or will they take the power themselves. If it's not a city where
- 1:07:21he sees those two guys should go, they're gonna pull up Eli. Now,
- 1:07:27I always thought it was called a Bowl because bo Jack was the first
- 1:07:30person I know, and I think John Elway was. I was just about
- 1:07:38to say the year before John Elway, So both might have got the idea
- 1:07:42from John Elway because Elway was in the eighty three draft, he said,
- 1:07:48and Bowl came out next year and both said. He didn't want to go
- 1:07:51to Tampa Bay. They had he had a reason. Excuse me, Bo
- 1:07:56had a reason that he would not play for Tampa Bay. Wasn't the reason
- 1:08:01that Tampa was not good. What they ruined his senior year of baseball because
- 1:08:09he took a physical but that was against the rules at the time, so
- 1:08:12he lost his baseball eligibility at all. So he blamed Tampa Bay for that.
- 1:08:16Oh okay, and he said it never played for him. He's like,
- 1:08:18don't draft me. Tell me if they drafted him, And they did
- 1:08:21draft and they draft him anyway anyway, and he decided to go play baseball.
- 1:08:27But I they say Eli, like Eli, Eli just got drafted two
- 1:08:31thousand. A couple of guys have already done it. They're calling it the
- 1:08:35ELI and it's like, well, no, it's a couple of guys that
- 1:08:39already had done the whole And he didn't want to go to the was it
- 1:08:45at the time? And I don't remember his reason why. I don't know
- 1:08:48it was because whoever was the whole head coach. I don't know why he
- 1:08:53didn't want to go. Yeah, they tried to say it was something about
- 1:08:55owners It was never specific, but it was something about like the ownership or
- 1:08:59the front office and see, and that's the thing. And back with Caleb
- 1:09:03Williams, the same thing with the Shador and Hunter just recently, Like I
- 1:09:12said, there's a lot of people who are speaking on this. What what
- 1:09:15is your opinion on that as far as being a player with these guys that's
- 1:09:18coming in and they want saying I want to command this, I want to
- 1:09:23do this, and you haven't even proven yourself on that next level was if
- 1:09:27you was the GM or the coach, would you even just like I'm gonna
- 1:09:30go ahead and draft them or I'm just gonna I'm not even gonna waste my
- 1:09:35energy with it now listening to command you, Greg, if I was Tampa
- 1:09:40Bay and I had directly did something to Bowl like that, I would not
- 1:09:44have drafted him in that case. Eli, if I'm the Chargers, remember
- 1:09:49I don't want anybody period the come to my team that don't want to be
- 1:09:56here. Yes, that's always disability. So you if you don't want to
- 1:10:00be here because you buying into being here, especially if you're a top ten
- 1:10:04pick, top first round pick, you're going to be placed in some kind
- 1:10:09of leadership. We're going to be counting on you to do something. And
- 1:10:13in that case, I don't know, because most top five or six picks,
- 1:10:17if you're expecting these players your door and Travis, most of the time,
- 1:10:23you're going to be going places that are going to be trying to find
- 1:10:29themselves. And when I hear that, Okayleb Williams. But Chicago as a
- 1:10:36as a franchise has always been dedicated to trying to win. Yeah, and
- 1:10:43they're not a franchise like you would say the Bengals or the Browns, who
- 1:10:48at some point used to always seem like they were more about the bottom line.
- 1:10:53The Bears, some of them. A lot of the criticization criticizing against
- 1:10:59the Bears might be they made the wrong choice. But they will reshuffle the
- 1:11:02deck in Chicago. Now they don't have a problem getting rid of people bringing
- 1:11:09in people. Uh So, now now I think Caleb Williams is safe that
- 1:11:15at least he's gonna go to a franchise with history and that's gonna try but
- 1:11:18even now for him, but if he's not wanting to go there, and
- 1:11:24knowing seeing him with some of his actions in college, I think I wouldn't
- 1:11:28even pick him if I already know like just some of the just to jumping
- 1:11:31into the crowd on the stands during the game and just being upset and if
- 1:11:36he and if there's any rumblins like well, I might have to pick him
- 1:11:40to trade him. Now, I'm not gonna not gonna mess over myself to
- 1:11:45help you out. Yeah, because I've always wondered about the like with the
- 1:11:50bow Tampa situation, I know you don't want to be here. But it's
- 1:11:55like I'm going to break your wheel by drafting you anyway, which makes you
- 1:11:59some sort of distraction in the locker room and to the system as a whole,
- 1:12:02in my opinion. So and then I question a coach Sanders, who
- 1:12:09is at the put up or shut up stage in his coaching career, to
- 1:12:13be putting what I consider targets on the backs of these kids and saying that
- 1:12:16when they get drafted, that's assuming that you guys do well enough that people
- 1:12:20still want and the train you want your son to go to might be having
- 1:12:24the twentieth picking that's gonna make your money bonus money go down. Well,
- 1:12:27I always thought these kind of ideas are always best kept quiet. Yeah,
- 1:12:35I've never understood the exposure of this. This is the twenty fifth hour?
- 1:12:42Is that how they say this is the last that none of you knew.
- 1:12:45I just sat there and waited, and then I hit you with it,
- 1:12:49letting you set up and having a whole year we haven't gotten this draft in
- 1:12:54right and already knowing that I don't want to deal with you next year.
- 1:13:00Now you've dropped four or five spots all right now, and now let's put
- 1:13:03him out the first round altogether. So the team that need a receiver was
- 1:13:08at pick four and twelve. You've made picked four. Decide to let you
- 1:13:13go. Remember, everybody doesn't want you. I just got a first round
- 1:13:17receiver. So the team that wanted you, you've alienated. And now you
- 1:13:21went from a fourth round pick to a twelfth round pick because that was the
- 1:13:26next team that needed a receiver. That's how it really works. People can't
- 1:13:30then the receiver I already got to I need a old lineman. So the
- 1:13:35team that needed a receiver, you have alienated. Right, We'll be back

- 1:19:39Times coming. I guess they're going to try to piggyback Boondocks with some of
- 1:19:47this. Uh maybe it lets them be able to be a little more family.
- 1:19:53Guy is about good Times? You know, you kind of almost have
- 1:19:57to have the right spe in to be well outrageous. I was going to
- 1:20:03say, the guy talked on stuff that if you put on a regular show,
- 1:20:08it wouldn't be alive. Sensibilities. Animation allows you to press the line
- 1:20:15on sensibilities. Yes, so you don't have to. It's not real people
- 1:20:21feeling that way. These are fake people living in an imaginary world that are
- 1:20:27racists. So you don't have to get sensitive about the racist storyline. It's
- 1:20:31just and Good Times is one of those well they period times that have to
- 1:20:35have an all black voice camp. It's too late to turn back now.
- 1:20:43I remember that it was a movement. Yeah, a couple of years ago
- 1:20:45they were forcing on even Family Guy and Seth McFarland Cleveland. You can't have
- 1:20:56someone voiceover Cleveland who had been doing it for years but black. But because
- 1:21:00he wasn't black, now all of a sudden, they had to go out
- 1:21:02and find a black Now, this is the thing, because Good Times would
- 1:21:06be at that time period right, there were no white characters in Good Times,
- 1:21:15and I can't even remember a special episode where they had a white character
- 1:21:18as a special get they met a quota. They they actually had white characters
- 1:21:24on there, but it was always when they were going to interact with some
- 1:21:29sort of government agency or some sort of school authority and those kinds of things.
- 1:21:34Now, one thing that I do know about Good Times is, like
- 1:21:38you said, from the sensibilities of the seventies, you couldn't have that kind
- 1:21:42of comedy. Now, I wonder are they going to try and do a
- 1:21:45reimagining where they insert a gay character or some transgender character, or is there
- 1:21:55now the family's interracial? You know what I mean? They how will they
- 1:22:00they modernize it and still keep it like it was? This is how it's
- 1:22:05the fourth generation of the Evans family living in the same apartment in the last
- 1:22:11or many housing projects in Chicago. That's what they say. The premise is
- 1:22:16so four generations later, fourth generation, they're still in the same apartment,
- 1:22:23the same one in the project. Come on, now, what happened when
- 1:22:27Keith and thel and Lana and all them moved out? Remember they went to
- 1:22:30play for the bear. They went to the north side by it t That's
- 1:22:40what I'm saying. I get that maybe the second generation, but you all
- 1:22:43went to the fourth generation in the same apartment, which means you are eminated
- 1:22:47been torn down by Now it's the it's the last one standing had then because
- 1:22:55it's so far fetching. Now, the fourth generation don't even remember James,
- 1:23:02right, No, he's a great, great Yeah, they don't remember who
- 1:23:06he is. They don't even remember all that. So and that means no
- 1:23:11one could be alive, right, Michael, Thelma would have to be dead,
- 1:23:16all be dead. It's the fourth generation and you mean none of them
- 1:23:19people did no battle say exactly? Come on, man, come on,
- 1:23:26Mike, I guess Michael to the Supreme Court. And the Miseducation of Lauryn
- 1:23:31Hill was dropped in nineteen ninety eight. We will be inducted into the Grammy
- 1:23:38Hall of Fame. Lauryn Hill for that album really the only album that seemed
- 1:23:45to move the world. Her other works after that just didn't seem to grab
- 1:23:49the world as the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill did. What a great album that
- 1:23:54you can drop on anytime? And how do you how do you quantify being
- 1:23:58in the Grammy Hall of Fame? What is a triple building sales? What
- 1:24:03is the qualifying I'm quite sure drink you start getting to diamond or whatever up
- 1:24:09there once you reached something the album soul, Yeah, We'll be back more
- 1:24:13to Sports Stock Show right after it. This is a casudo hole city friend
- 1:24:23his bugony. Don't go awayne board of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandy

- 1:27:16listening. Lang. Glad to be here. With you again. William Twitty
- 1:27:21in the building, Command chie Greg Big Kenny, the funny Man himself in
- 1:27:27the building as well. One of the UFC fighters, Igor Savarino, is
- 1:27:34that right Comanchi. Savarino, only in the second round on Saturday, was
- 1:27:42disqualified and thrown out. That's how bad of the USC fight. He was
- 1:27:46fighting Andre Lima, uh uh Savarino, twenty years old, only a round
- 1:27:55and a half in bit Andre Lima under the arm. They didn't just disqualify
- 1:28:01him for the match. When he got back to the locker room, they
- 1:28:04threw out of UFC. I don't know what made him, you know,
- 1:28:12I don't get the whole biting thing. We had saw this with Mike Tyson.
- 1:28:15Usually in trouble when you're in a fight, but it is one of
- 1:28:23those things. And I was gonna say, generally, you seem like type
- 1:28:28of gentlemen that two things. Number One, your peaceful nature probably don't get
- 1:28:33into a lot of off the field conflicts, like once you left the field,
- 1:28:39it was all you know, kumba ya. Number Two, your size
- 1:28:43people probably wasn't trying to press your line a lot. But if you've never
- 1:28:46been getting hands put on you I'm talking about it in a major way.
- 1:28:50Some people bite. I've seen people getting hands put on them trying to get
- 1:28:56out of that situation and they bite. Now, you would think that you
- 1:28:59got the profession, That's that's what I mean, once you get the refashionable
- 1:29:01level you But so that man had to be getting some real real put on
- 1:29:06him for him to be like, I don't care about his career no ya
- 1:29:12ya ya ya and and just only twenty years old. So uh, he's
- 1:29:17been at least for now. They have put him out of the u f
- 1:29:23C. I don't know where you go from there. I guess you just
- 1:29:26go back to Is there another league that the UFC competes with? Belatour?
- 1:29:30Belotour? Maybe? Look? Look and then the dude when they were watching
- 1:29:35the video now, when they broke him up, the dude had the what
- 1:29:39what did I? Why are you acting? Like? Why you? What
- 1:29:45is what? And he's pointing to his mouth like why you been? Yeah
- 1:29:50it was just know it just with my bottom teeth. I only bit him
- 1:29:54with my bottom teeth. You're complaining about that while you it's not like I'm
- 1:30:00ripped really really hard get him on the inside of his bicyle if you ever
- 1:30:03want to get a chance to see because he had him in like a headlock
- 1:30:06kind of position. You got up to get out of the head That's the
- 1:30:14only thing you can think of. You in a match have been basically blurred
- 1:30:20and the one room, the one room we do have is no nobody now
- 1:30:26thought about that, But this is what that brain cell is at the end,
- 1:30:29and you can't move you on like the teeth the marfles don't think you
- 1:30:31can. Maybe I was thinking, this is a match where you can just
- 1:30:34take your bare knee and shove in somebody's nose. Yes, and you went
- 1:30:41with I'm gonna bite this dude, make you wonder, make you Maybe it
- 1:30:45was a maybe it was one of those you know, hey, after the
- 1:30:47match, Iron called me, you know what I'm saying. Maybe he was
- 1:30:51sensing something. Patrick Beverley is coming on the fire for some controversial people he
- 1:30:59put on the list, and a lot of those guys are upset with him.
- 1:31:03The controversy is centered around that. Patrick Beverly went on the Pat BEV
- 1:31:10podcast and made a list of the whitest black guys in the NBA. See
- 1:31:19how racism always makes him chuckle? William. It's four people up here.
- 1:31:24He's the only one that chuckled William William William. But the whitest black guys
- 1:31:29in the NBA, he made a list of that. He gave five examples
- 1:31:38of those guys that would be on the list. A lot of those guys
- 1:31:42took very exceptional attitudes towards him. He put the Cleveland Center, Jared Allen,
- 1:31:50Pacers Center, Miles Turner, Philadelphia Center Mobamba, the Charlotte Hornets forward
- 1:32:00Grant Williams, and New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ. McCollum were his five people.
- 1:32:09Mobam Bamba Mobamba of the Sixers. Part of what he said, you
- 1:32:15know, this is why the culture never grows because we make lists like this
- 1:32:21where you come in a room and because I'm basically educated and I speak well,
- 1:32:28you decide that I am a black white guy. Now, Pat Bev
- 1:32:34tried to use the excuse that they had done a blackest white guy list.
- 1:32:44I guess a couple of episodes before you. I don't know when they did
- 1:32:46it, but he was saying, they did a blackest white guy list,
- 1:32:50so they decided to come back and make a whitest Why does that chuckle you
- 1:33:00so much so in an effort to have equity. What makes him chuckle about
- 1:33:04that so much? Command you ask him, he's right there. No,
- 1:33:06No, he's gonna give me something, William. It's gonna take me to
- 1:33:09the vortex, William. Tell us, please share with the class. William,
- 1:33:15let's go ahead and start it. No, no, give him a
- 1:33:16chance. That's ridicous. What makes you laugh? But when you hear that
- 1:33:21it was a list? They did have a list. Originally they did Who's
- 1:33:26the Whitest? I was wrong. Yeah, he had it right there.
- 1:33:30I thought it was pretty funny, the list. I took a chance and
- 1:33:34I was wrong. Guys, what makes the list funny? I mean,
- 1:33:42what's the difference that they did, Like they call Jason Williams white chocolate and
- 1:33:45they did producer. We're not going to use the whole they did it,
- 1:33:50now we do it. What makes this list? What makes this list funny?
- 1:33:58Just the guys that he put on the list? Make what? CJ
- 1:34:00McCall, What what if I told you I see you as the whitest black
- 1:34:05guy? Hey, I might go with it. I've been I like NASCAR,
- 1:34:09like the hunt, so you know, yeah, some of the things
- 1:34:12and that does what people. Oh, I don't know. It confuses me.
- 1:34:20It may confuse them. They might look at me and say, hey,
- 1:34:23they may think one thing and then it's something different. I'm sorry.
- 1:34:28Music is I really? I really? I asked for that. You did
- 1:34:30ask and I'm taking a care. I was asking command was gonna leave him
- 1:34:34out? And I went to him and I said, get my chance.
- 1:34:39I said that correct, And the music is annoying. Yes, that's why
- 1:34:44we played, because that's what we're telling. Whatever, whatever penalty I have
- 1:34:47to suffer, I guess I'm just gonna have to. If I get suspended
- 1:34:51for three days, I'm gonna just have to accept that because I asked for
- 1:34:55that. I'm sorry. And the only reason I said because I knew part
- 1:34:57of it would be, oh, they made this other list. Is that
- 1:35:00I was just having this conversation with a young man last night over dinner that
- 1:35:03two wrongs don't make it right. You're doing wrong, doesn't eliminate eliminate my
- 1:35:12wrong. And that's all that our society seems to be feeding on now,
- 1:35:16this idea that will I get my shot to be No, you wrong and
- 1:35:21I'm both of us are wrong. Right, You're going first doesn't take away
- 1:35:26that I'm wrong too. We're both wrong. But people that feel like you
- 1:35:32went first, Now my wrong is right. Man, Why are you stealing
- 1:35:35that? Why are you stealing that? Out of cars? Man? They
- 1:35:39breaking the cars around here all the time, No problem, you know that
- 1:35:45whole You shouldn't have been around here, so you robbed me because you decided
- 1:35:51that I was shouldn't have been where. And that's how that well they made
- 1:35:56as long as they did it the other way. No, both wrong.
- 1:36:00Making the blackest white guy list is wrong, and you're making the whitest black
- 1:36:05guy list is wrong. There it is because if they made a hoodist black
- 1:36:13guy list, Oh, everybody be outraised there the thug is black guy?
- 1:36:18Would it wouldn't be no outrage? Yeah? Yeah, especially if JJ Reddick
- 1:36:24made it made it, especially if JJ Redick JJ Redick made it issue the
- 1:36:29thug black guy in the n B A Larry Bird even using the word thug,
- 1:36:35right, Larry from ESPN, the biggest, the biggest thug in the
- 1:36:41NBA. Oh you you'll never be on TV again. I can't believe he
- 1:36:45said that all you can be invited to is Chris Brown concerts and pretty good
- 1:36:51pretty pretty good entertainment. But that is Pat ben Uh and these guys right
- 1:36:57here, as I said, Obama, c J McCullum, who's a great
- 1:37:00player for the Pelicans, he took exception to and and you put him on
- 1:37:04the list. You're a race guy. Why aren't they calling for him to
- 1:37:08be canceled? William calling for Pat Beverly, Why aren't they calling for his
- 1:37:13show to be pulled in him to be canceled? I remember when Aaron Rodgers
- 1:37:17said something in Cyndy Are on Pat mcafee' show. They wanted They came for
- 1:37:23Aaron Rodgers, they came for Pat McAfee, they came for everybody. They
- 1:37:27wanted them off the air. So why aren't they calling for this guy to
- 1:37:30be off there? Man, that's a great question. I'm we're gonna have
- 1:37:33to look into that, so we'll see CJ McCollum. As I said,
- 1:37:40I don't know he dragged, and the baby Duster says, you can tell
- 1:37:43he can tell by the people on the list. I've seen these guys playoffs,
- 1:37:48you know, and that's the only thing I ever seen them in.
- 1:37:49I don't know him personally, and it's kind of like Obama saying, because
- 1:37:57these guys on this list doesn't seem to be trying to radiate that they are
- 1:38:02as Big Kenny alluded to thugs, right, then, that makes them a
- 1:38:08white black guy. That's the only thing I see them in con just saw
- 1:38:12these games. Jared Allen just seems like it was a good guy who plays
- 1:38:15basketball as the big Afro. Miles Turner just was a young kid fresh out
- 1:38:20of high school. I think he was part of that last right out of
- 1:38:23high school or one year removed. It's just that these guys when you see
- 1:38:27him on the court, they just look They're not trying to make you think
- 1:38:32they are from the trap house, right And one of our letter was rather
- 1:38:39their lack it has nothing to do with their game, but rather their swag
- 1:38:43or lack thereof. And our listener from New York, that's the Raiders fan
- 1:38:47says, can I make a list of one most hated person on radio?
- 1:38:57I told him sure, but then again and I made another call, and
- 1:39:00I might have to pay for that one too, but I made another call
- 1:39:04ye again talking about it Don't Go Away or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:39:27Wayne Dantius coming up next. Attention home sellers, and buyers in the Atlanta

- 1:41:55back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy between longne say you can see a
- 1:42:20sports chaint, I'll sing even then, way back to the ships, what
- 1:42:27shock wainge Candy Obama, if you can hear me, just start walking around
- 1:42:30and using the word cap and you can, I guess they'll let you be
- 1:42:35black then, right, because that's cap And a lot of people think it
- 1:42:40is the capping. It's the matter, that's the verd form of the capping.
- 1:42:45Yes, and so that's cap though, and I honestly think that that
- 1:42:49that's the now and and and there's a nown invert. What's the adjective?
- 1:42:56Cap can also be an adjective? Oh, it covers all of them.
- 1:43:00See I didn't know now, verb and William is all three of them makes
- 1:43:05me white because you know, I knew what a verb is. So now
- 1:43:11I guess I have to be on this list too, because why would you
- 1:43:14know what those three things are, and I think it's unfortunate we laugh about
- 1:43:18it because you can't. There's only one way to be blacked and see,
- 1:43:24but listen, we're laughing about it, but we're always talking about the example
- 1:43:28these kind of things set There are young men who are being bullied and facing
- 1:43:34peer pressure to act more black in these situations, and it's leading some of
- 1:43:40them into dangerous territory. So I think that when he makes light of this
- 1:43:45kind of thing again, I'm asking where is the outcry and the public outrage
- 1:43:54for this kind I see a lot of stuff. I see a lot of
- 1:43:57that's lame that's lame cap. It's lame cap. That's lame cap. Because
- 1:44:01now I'm ops now, but see I see a lot of you as captain.
- 1:44:05No, I was captain. But what I'm saying is I threw shade,
- 1:44:10and so now I'm ops, No, it's not shade. I feel
- 1:44:14like this son as has been talking, Yeah, this is this is this
- 1:44:18is job, this is all drama, Ran, Yes, this is this
- 1:44:21is what he fell into. But we talked last week days. We project
- 1:44:28on our races like oh you should do this because this brother thing or that
- 1:44:33thing. So I mean back to what you were saying, I don't know.
- 1:44:36Well personally, I'm in school. As a young kid, I had
- 1:44:43really good grades, but in my neighborhood people had good grades. Was acting
- 1:44:46white, and in an effort to not be perceived as that and be bullied
- 1:44:54by my peers, I made sure that I was always keeping it real.
- 1:44:58Yeah, but it don't matter about my grades with somebody with good grades say
- 1:45:01this much weed at school, and you know that stuff never helps. Is
- 1:45:05my point that that's cap you. You try and do something just to fit
- 1:45:12in, and and what they consider being really black is everything that's negative about
- 1:45:17being black. On ops. Right, we're gonna go ride on fake,
- 1:45:23We're gonna go keep it real and all of those things are detrimental to the
- 1:45:28community. But right now, you see, I don't know what that means
- 1:45:32means at all. So now we gotta Now, we gotta spend the block.
- 1:45:39We got to finish the show. Can't spend the blog yet. Oh,
- 1:45:42No, spend the block means that I'm going to come because we got
- 1:45:45to spend the block, right, that's my Let's go to the car.
- 1:45:49No, that means I'm going to get in the car and come see you.
- 1:45:53Because when I see you. I'm going to have the stick. You
- 1:45:56don't know what stick, the stick switch on, the stick with the switch,
- 1:46:00the stick with the switch. They can't say. And I'm gonna just
- 1:46:03pull up on your block. I don't need to know where you're at.
- 1:46:05I just need to know because I have the swing. I'm gonna clear out
- 1:46:09the whole because if the stick don't have the switch, I'm clock it's the
- 1:46:14block. We're gonna clear the whole block. Oh kind of love. That's
- 1:46:18cap. Yeah, if you keep doing that, we're gonna discover that you're
- 1:46:26a white black guy because the only you only got one code word. You
- 1:46:29don't know the other code words. You just keep going with that cap and
- 1:46:33somebody's gonna pat you down in a minute and be like, ah, yeah,
- 1:46:38he's got he knows. CBS cut away from March Madness and I'm bringing
- 1:46:45you the story. Kate Middleton, uh made her announcement very interesting that in
- 1:46:51our society people feel like they have to make announcements. Yes, that's the
- 1:46:56one thing you know. In the sad news of us losing the Black pant
- 1:47:00anther Chadwick Bozeman a couple of years ago, one of the beautiful things about
- 1:47:06that was that he just lived his life and basically in death we found out
- 1:47:14his illness. But unless she was in his personal circle, he didn't feel
- 1:47:18like and I feel like that's to be our society, Kate Middleton, at
- 1:47:23least in our country. He doesn't hold some job. Yes, if you're
- 1:47:26the president, you know, or somebody like that, where you have a
- 1:47:30job, then in that kind of capacity, sure you might have to be
- 1:47:34forthcoming. But just the regular citizen needing to make an announcement. I've had
- 1:47:41some bad news in my life with a family friend over last week having cancer,
- 1:47:45but just having him feel like she has to make an announcement so people
- 1:47:50will be satisfied, or you don't have to have to write reports and stories
- 1:47:55if you see me losing weight or coming out of clinic or something like that.
- 1:48:00But they broke in the coverage of the Florida Atlantic Northwestern game to let
- 1:48:09her make her announcement, and they said it was the first time something like
- 1:48:13that had happened since two thousand and three, when the US invaded Iraq in
- 1:48:19March twentieth, two thousand and three, that's how long it has been since
- 1:48:25something. Now they felt like needed to be break into the action now.
- 1:48:31Not to disparage I wish Kate Middleton and all her loved ones, family and
- 1:48:39friends will, but the difference between the two thousand and three and the now,
- 1:48:45I would imagine it's the first of all, the America part America was
- 1:48:50invading Iraq, and Kate Middleton is British. She's a British citizen of the
- 1:48:57royal family, which means that And I'm not trying to sound heartless or unconcerned,
- 1:49:02but that's sort of a their problem in my view of world issues,
- 1:49:08that is a their problem. And you have sold us this come together moment
- 1:49:15of sports that is March Madness, and being from the Midwest, having family
- 1:49:21from Evanston, having lived in Evanston, I'm a fan of the Northwestern Wildcats.
- 1:49:27So that affected me and my watching viewing people because we was watching the
- 1:49:33home team and then we hear some depressing news. I mean, it's a
- 1:49:36bad thing that it happened, but I had you know, what's Kate got
- 1:49:41to do with the United States? Well, you're you're definitely in that break
- 1:49:44as we go to break, Uh, is somebody break in the action of
- 1:49:46something like that, especially a big sporting event. You're expecting it to be
- 1:49:49some kind of war or some kind of bomb. Might have put a bomb,
- 1:49:55or it's been some huge shoe terrorist attacked. For that moment, for
- 1:50:00you to say, I would be like, if you say special, I'm
- 1:50:03expecting you should tell me that Joe Biden just was assassinated or something like that.
- 1:50:10It's really the moments. I don't know what the producers were thinking.
- 1:50:13And there's no knock at Kate Middleton or anyone. I mean, but you
- 1:50:17are expecting for somebody to break into a news broak a sporting event. They're
- 1:50:23going to tell you something. Yes, of a higher clearance level. We'll
- 1:50:28be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. John bow Away,
- 1:50:45Born of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dantius coming up next. And now

- 1:52:30we've put a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle. On the
- 1:52:35Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, I'm Vanilla Baby. I'll show you,
- 1:52:49but I ain't no killer Baby twenty eight telling me I'm still a baby.
- 1:52:54I get love and Detroit Light skiller Baby. And the thing about your boy
- 1:52:58is I know we've since down. Welcome back to the Spot, Shock,
- 1:53:02Shine, the Spot Shock. Wayne Gandy. Baseball season right around the corner.
- 1:53:09Here we will start having regular seacers in games for the season for the
- 1:53:15whole league. A couple of teams already have played, but we are reached.
- 1:53:19This year's twenty twenty four season. One rule change the bad excuse me,
- 1:53:25Conway Twitty William Twitty brought to us today was now this season, a
- 1:53:32player cannot stand in front of the bag. Is that the rule? Now?
- 1:53:40Yeah, you can. If I'm stealing base, I can't stand on
- 1:53:43the bag. You know how you stand in front of the bag like you're
- 1:53:45waiting for the ball in the path of the base runner in the path of
- 1:53:47the base runner. Why not. It's apparently to prevent injuries or it's given
- 1:53:57that runner the lane to be able to have the ability to go to the
- 1:54:00bag. In other words, you have to be possibly straddling the back or
- 1:54:03standing directly on the opposite side of the bag to place the test once again,
- 1:54:09to increase scoring well, and because when we're talking about we're talking about
- 1:54:15stealing a base, that sort of implies that we don't want you to be
- 1:54:20on the base. Correct, there's you didn't earn it with a hit.
- 1:54:25You're just going to get you an extra base by being faster than the person
- 1:54:29trying to throw you out at that base cor And one of the deterrems for
- 1:54:33that was what standing between the dude trying to steal the base in the bag?
- 1:54:40Well, I mean, you don't see bunning and stealing as much as
- 1:54:45you used to in baseball. A lot of movement, and and I guess
- 1:54:47they're trying to, like you said, put the scoring back in the game,
- 1:54:50get some movement. And when when did when did scoring become so popular
- 1:54:57in baseball? Because I'm a lifelong baseball fan, and I'm sometimes confused and
- 1:55:03even a little bit insulted when I see fifteen to twelve in a baseball game.
- 1:55:11I'm used to three to zip and that was a barn burner. You
- 1:55:15should have seen them this afternoon and they got them three runs. And then
- 1:55:18because everybody had their gloves ready out and outfield and there was nobody getting any
- 1:55:26It used to be a game of strategy. And it seems that defense in
- 1:55:31all our major sports has been reduced to nothingness for the game. And I
- 1:55:39don't scoring does not actually scoring high scoring games to me, I'm boring exactly.
- 1:55:45We turned to hey watching games. There was a football game that's sixty
- 1:55:48two to sixty four. That was not the thrilling game. No, some
- 1:55:57of your better games are twenty to seven team because I got storylines on both
- 1:56:02sides of the ball about how this defense just is not letting get me any
- 1:56:08right, get in there like y'all are working today. Big Kenny over there,
- 1:56:13who's an All American and just linebacker just has has its number. Keep
- 1:56:17calling him while hit in the backfield. Hey, man, answer the phone.
- 1:56:20I see you over there, I see here. Come Hey, pick
- 1:56:26up the phone. It's me again. And they have decided and rude changes
- 1:56:30baseball, the whole overtime, we're gonna start somebody on first base or second
- 1:56:35base. The basketball, this is a foul football. You can't pull a
- 1:56:41guy down. So I can't hit him in the knee, I can't pull
- 1:56:44him from the back. I can't hit him with my helmet. Now you're
- 1:56:48saying, I can't grab him around the hip and pull him down. So
- 1:56:51basically, you just want to create more offense. And you're saying, stand
- 1:56:55on the other side of the bag or s. And they made the bag
- 1:56:59larger last year, you remember, And so you know, somebody like a
- 1:57:01Kunda who had seventy steals, he had easily have ninety steals. This year,
- 1:57:06the bag is bigger. You're making me pitch the ball faster. Everything
- 1:57:10seems to be about this idea that people only want to see scoring. And
- 1:57:15I don't really and maybe it's age. I don't see sports as that a
- 1:57:19game can be good nine to eight, but a game can also be good
- 1:57:24two to one. Yes, in baseball, ess as good because they own
- 1:57:29it today. They making these catches out here out and that's what I'm saying,
- 1:57:31Just make a triple player. I mean, they got hot, they
- 1:57:34got hot bats but the gloves are even hotter, and the people aren't interested
- 1:57:40in like they want to see more runs, Like I want to see if
- 1:57:43a pitcher can get a no hitter or have fifteen eighteen strikeouts. But people
- 1:57:48want they just want more offense. And you and then also this year you
- 1:57:53only get two times. You know how you can step off the rubber as
- 1:57:56a pitcher to try to pick off, You only get to do that twice
- 1:58:00your money making it more off Cam Sutton? Anybody found Cam Sutton? The
- 1:58:08corner the former cornerback of the Detroit Lion. Has he turned itself in?
- 1:58:13I googled it too, I couldn't find an article. Has anybody found it's
- 1:58:16been three weeks. Has he been seen by his family? I'm not allowed
- 1:58:19to visit his wife, his girlfriend, his fiance, his mom, his
- 1:58:24dad. Has anybody seen Cam Sutton the cornerback for the Lion? Now?
- 1:58:29I need to at least get a report that somebody saw him. I haven't
- 1:58:32seen nor heard nothing. So nobody's seen not since the story. That would
- 1:58:41makes so crazy, Not since the story. It's in three weeks now,
- 1:58:44but I mean even the storyland is dying down. Okay, the closest day
- 1:58:46is Mike Tomlin called Cam Sutton and he didn't say if he made contents all
- 1:58:54negotiation. They down negotiation. Okay, so somebody has somebody has found that.
- 1:59:00Maybe Mike Tomlin just on some look youngster, turn where you at.
- 1:59:03Well, at least thank you Mike for finding him, because it's been three
- 1:59:06weeks and I keep googling every other day and I haven't seen anything about Cam
- 1:59:12Sudden turned himself in and it makes me worry, like they got your phone
- 1:59:16taped to make sure whenever he call you back, you know, to find
- 1:59:20him. And we are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 1:59:26your to the ocean. It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk
- 1:59:30Show with Wayne we DESI those gives just sport shout testa minute to Vince would
- 2:00:01like to think Vic Kenny command you Greg William I just can't go back to
