- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling. Drama Darling, Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Welcome in, Darlings, Welcome in. Today is Tuesday, the seventeenth,
- 0:27Speaker 2: and by Golly. I am joined by two ladies, just
- 0:31Speaker 2: bookended by Jamie Moyer and Deanna Chang. Ladies. Welcome, Welcome in, Hi,
- 0:38Speaker 2: thank you.
- 0:43Speaker 3: To be here.
- 0:44Speaker 2: We are so excited to talk about Mormon Wives Episode two.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I mean, it's only episode two for us. Meanwhile, the
- 0:52Speaker 2: entire world has already watched all eight. You guys have
- 0:55Speaker 2: probably watched all eight as well. But we are gonna
- 0:59Speaker 2: just you know, we're gonna I dissect it down to
- 1:01Speaker 2: the very last shower baby shower gift, you know, because
- 1:06Speaker 2: this is what we're doing here on Drama Darling. We're
- 1:08Speaker 2: not just going to give you one episode where we
- 1:10Speaker 2: talk about it all. We're going to talk about each one.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I'm actually holding off. I'm not going to go ahead.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Although it was difficult after this one, I really wanted
- 1:20Speaker 4: to go one more. But that is always the case
- 1:22Speaker 4: when any of us are watching any shows, isn't it.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Remember when back in the day, you'd have to wait
- 1:28Speaker 4: every Sunday to see the promise.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Deanna, have you gone past episode two?
- 1:34Speaker 3: I consumed all of it.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Immediately, immediately upon release like everybody else.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Yes, I also know. I don't know about you girls,
- 1:48Speaker 3: but you know how as an adult, certain things just
- 1:50Speaker 3: don't You just didn't get the memo on them, like
- 1:53Speaker 3: you weren't taught them. It was for me baseboards have
- 1:57Speaker 3: eluded me as an adult.
- 2:01Speaker 4: How clean the baseboards in a house is what you're
- 2:03Speaker 4: talking about?
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, like just how to keep them, keep them right
- 2:07Speaker 3: and tight.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I I was taught get on your knees and clean
- 2:11Speaker 2: those goddamn baseboards.
- 2:14Speaker 3: That's listen. I missed the lesson and I sort of
- 2:18Speaker 3: just you know, so I did consume it in its
- 2:23Speaker 3: entirety while I was tackling baseboards.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Okay, I was gonna say, is there an episode where
- 2:28Speaker 2: they're talking about base because I am listening. I mean,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I didn't expect this because I was like, these girls
- 2:36Speaker 2: are paying attention to their baseboards. I find it hard
- 2:38Speaker 2: to believe. But now we know they're not, but you are,
- 2:42Speaker 2: and that's important.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I am. And so what was what's good about going back?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Like?
- 2:47Speaker 3: I went back and watched too again because yeah, we were
- 2:49Speaker 3: some things that I was down in the baseboards and
- 2:53Speaker 3: I missed so.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Would be very impressed with you, because clearly Kenya didn't
- 3:00Speaker 2: have the baseboards finished when they went to her house,
- 3:03Speaker 2: and sure wanted to know where her baseboards were.
- 3:07Speaker 4: A minute, are we taking in metaphors or no? No,
- 3:09Speaker 4: were you really on the ground cleaning the baseboards while
- 3:12Speaker 4: the TV was going, Yes, from room to room and
- 3:16Speaker 4: do the baseboards in every room?
- 3:18Speaker 3: No, I just blasted my It was the upstairs that
- 3:22Speaker 3: really needed attention, and so I blasted it. And I
- 3:28Speaker 3: was going room to room. Not there's two, there's you know,
- 3:31Speaker 3: two plus two bathrooms. So I was just really getting
- 3:35Speaker 3: in there. I would love it for racers.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Would you know I was doing you powerwash because I
- 3:43Speaker 2: want if you were to powerwash those baseboards next level.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I'm kidding, don't everyone. It's like the p s A.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Do your baseboards. Don't bring your power washer inside. It
- 3:53Speaker 2: will strip the paint just.
- 3:58Speaker 4: To see and on they're they're not great, but they're okay,
- 4:03Speaker 4: they're okay. But then when I did that, I saw
- 4:05Speaker 4: something black on my on this like this part of
- 4:08Speaker 4: the wall right here, and I went to grab it
- 4:12Speaker 4: and it was a mosquito. So if any of your
- 4:18Speaker 4: watchers noticed me going like this. I awoke the sleeping
- 4:22Speaker 4: I awoke the sleeping mosquito while attempting to look at
- 4:25Speaker 4: my baseboards. And they look pretty good. I mean they're
- 4:27Speaker 4: they're okay. I have never yet scrubbed them. But I've
- 4:30Speaker 4: only lived here for a short amount of time.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You've got time on your side.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Oh and I've had I've had a really nice shout
- 4:39Speaker 4: out why Nita's cleaning service. They've come in, and I
- 4:43Speaker 4: bet they've attested, they've they've attended to them, because.
- 4:45Speaker 2: They absolutely But I'm you woke a sleeping mosquito while
- 4:51Speaker 2: I awoke a sleeping tailor on episode two. Because we
- 4:57Speaker 2: we got into this and let me tell you what,
- 5:00Speaker 2: because we're gonna welcome you into this recap right now, duh.
- 5:07Speaker 2: You know what's interesting is that now we have like
- 5:11Speaker 2: leaped forward in time. I mean, not like a month,
- 5:15Speaker 2: not like as we've seen on how so I have
- 5:16Speaker 2: six weeks later, two months later, you know, we are
- 5:20Speaker 2: talking twelve months after she was arrested for domestic violence.
- 5:29Speaker 2: She is now Purregdane again, after you know, unfortunately losing
- 5:35Speaker 2: her other child with Dakota. She is now planning a
- 5:40Speaker 2: baby shower, and you know, what I think is interesting
- 5:42Speaker 2: about this. I don't know who gave me this information.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It could have been one of you two. But from
- 5:47Speaker 2: what I understand, they filmed a pilot episode of this
- 5:51Speaker 2: and no one wanted to pick it up.
- 5:55Speaker 4: I did not. I'd never heard this.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Okay, and this could be all lies, but if it's true,
- 6:01Speaker 2: it would totally make sense on the timeline because why
- 6:03Speaker 2: would they wait twelve months to film again. So apparently
- 6:06Speaker 2: they made this pilot, no one was picking it up,
- 6:09Speaker 2: so probably sat there until Hulu got their little mits
- 6:13Speaker 2: on it, and then they were finally like, Okay, we're
- 6:15Speaker 2: gonna pick it up, go out and shoot. Well that
- 6:16Speaker 2: took a whole dang year, right, so that totally checks out. Yes,
- 6:22Speaker 2: imagine what their base boards look like twelve months later.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Yeah good? Yeah? Well, and you know what you're triggering
- 6:28Speaker 4: here is the idea that perhaps had Taylor or any
- 6:32Speaker 4: of them known it was going to get picked up,
- 6:34Speaker 4: they might have moved differently in the world.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Well they didn't. They went their separate ways, which makes
- 6:40Speaker 2: so much sense. From the first episode when they were
- 6:42Speaker 2: all getting together. We haven't seen each other since the
- 6:45Speaker 2: Swinging scandal. We haven't seen it right, of course they haven't.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So the show is what brought them together, and the
- 6:51Speaker 2: show is what split them apart. They really aren't good.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Beautiful, can't believe you guys are.
- 6:58Speaker 3: A beautiful words you know, beautiful way to organize us
- 7:03Speaker 3: and gathering using you because I needed it.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Wowith Wordsmith. Wow Wow. So now they're coming back together,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and she's got this excuse much like the Housewives, like
- 7:16Speaker 2: I haven't seen them since New York, meaning the reunion,
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know. Well, i'd like to get them back together
- 7:21Speaker 2: for my you know, renaming party. Well, I'd like to
- 7:25Speaker 2: get the mom talkers back together for my baby shower.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I hope they all show up. I haven't really talked
- 7:30Speaker 2: to many of them well, of course, because no one
- 7:32Speaker 2: wants anything to do with you because you were arrested
- 7:35Speaker 2: for domestic violence and you also went on TikTok's talking
- 7:38Speaker 2: about swinging and all those things. So now we have
- 7:41Speaker 2: these two camps. It's Taylor on her own for the
- 7:43Speaker 2: most part, although a lot of people showed up to
- 7:47Speaker 2: her baby shower, which was great, the exception of Whitney,
- 7:50Speaker 2: but we have her in the car with her mom, Liane.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I don't know, it's like l I A n how
- 8:02Speaker 2: would how would you say that? Leanne? But I like lyone,
- 8:06Speaker 2: what do you guys think.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I would say? Leon?
- 8:15Speaker 2: So she gets in the car and just not passive aggressively,
- 8:19Speaker 2: but just aggressively shames her right to left up and down,
- 8:22Speaker 2: you know, I mean her mom. She's just like, yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna invite everyone to my shower, and you know,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm just finishing up my last probation. I'm like, we
- 8:35Speaker 2: haven't seen you, like I just saw you in last episode.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Now you're pregnant about to have a baby, and you're
- 8:40Speaker 2: already finishing up your probation? Do I know you?
- 8:45Speaker 4: If you don't know me.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say. Taylor has such main character energy.
- 8:55Speaker 2: You know, how do you how do you fell about her?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Tell us how you fell?
- 9:00Speaker 4: Well?
- 9:00Speaker 2: I felt there was like Fel and Joel.
- 9:04Speaker 3: There was a crazy word that I needed somebody to
- 9:07Speaker 3: Oh the way they said Easel, did you guys pick
- 9:11Speaker 3: up on that was like like he was like put
- 9:14Speaker 3: it on the Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 2: They the way they do their eye like their l's
- 9:19Speaker 2: what if there's an L like jail or feel it's
- 9:25Speaker 2: like Joe fell tell like they don't it's it reminds
- 9:30Speaker 2: me of Whitney, you know, Salt Lake City. When I
- 9:33Speaker 2: was learning your impression, I'd be like, I feel like, well,
- 9:37Speaker 2: here's the thing. They all talk like that. Now we
- 9:39Speaker 2: know how they all talk. Now we know okay, but
- 9:42Speaker 2: carry on DMN.
- 9:44Speaker 3: So I I it's it's fascinating because Taylor, there's certain
- 9:49Speaker 3: people who move through the world and nothing sticks on
- 9:53Speaker 3: them because they are main characters.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And supper handcuffs, you know.
- 10:00Speaker 3: But but wow, how to bounce back and to keep it pushing,
- 10:05Speaker 3: you know. And I just love the way she manages
- 10:09Speaker 3: her parents. P ask, guys, are all the parents younger
- 10:12Speaker 3: than us?
- 10:13Speaker 4: Thank you God. I wanted to ask that, why does
- 10:16Speaker 4: the dad look like someone I went to high school with.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I'm like, oh she was, he was? I think.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I was like, they're all our age, and I go,
- 10:24Speaker 3: they might all be younger than us.
- 10:26Speaker 2: One hundred younger than us. There's no question about it.
- 10:29Speaker 4: No, we're talking about parents, about all the Taylor's parents. Yeah, Taylor,
- 10:35Speaker 4: you are way away.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I think they're a good five. I think they got five.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I think they're in there. I think they're like in
- 10:45Speaker 3: their early to mid forties.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Can we find exact I'm looking it up, right.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I know it was something I didn't want to bring
- 10:53Speaker 3: up because I knew it.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Dad looks like bred Durst. He's like, come, my lady,
- 10:59Speaker 4: come come. I'm like, oh my god.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Are you watching it?
- 11:07Speaker 4: My cookies and my tea? I've got to watch my
- 11:09Speaker 4: Mormon program.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm not finding it on a simple Google search because
- 11:14Speaker 2: she's not famous enough, you know what I mean, Like
- 11:16Speaker 2: she should be, but it's not popping up and I'm
- 11:18Speaker 2: gonna have to do a deeper dive. So and you know,
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'm not going to pause it for that. But I
- 11:22Speaker 2: think we can assume that they are probably in their
- 11:25Speaker 2: early forties and I'm not at that point. So that
- 11:29Speaker 2: being sad, I.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Would say, all right, my guess is yeah, forty six
- 11:34Speaker 4: and forty four. Write it down, Amy, put this in
- 11:36Speaker 4: your in your books in case you find it out.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I say, I say, Dad, forty six, Mom forty four. Now,
- 11:43Speaker 4: I mean personally, I'm thirty nine, so they're a little
- 11:46Speaker 4: older than me. Okay, yeah, I'll and I will remain
- 11:50Speaker 4: at thirty nine till the end of my days when
- 11:52Speaker 4: I die at the ripe old age of thirty nine.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I honestly think they're like, I think the mom is
- 11:58Speaker 2: like thirty nine, and I think the dad is like
- 12:01Speaker 2: forty two.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I really do write it down.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Hold on, let me gather myself and all.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I'll keep talking on the boards here, I'll keep talking
- 12:11Speaker 2: in the meantime.
- 12:11Speaker 3: We're talking about Taylor's parents alone.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I think Lyon and fred Durst.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I think Taylor's ing on Lyon. That's goodlying.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I think she's forty four, which.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Maybe Jamie's that's what Jamie said, okay.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And I think fred Durst is forty three.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Okay, all right, let's set the the numbers. The numbers
- 12:36Speaker 2: are up now. When Taylor says in her confessional, she's like,
- 12:43Speaker 2: I was filmed leaving the Jill and it woke me up.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then and then she also says that she's like
- 12:52Speaker 2: sabotaging her relationship with Dakota because she doesn't full like
- 12:56Speaker 2: she deserves this happy ending, which is so relatable to
- 13:01Speaker 2: a lot of people. Jamie doesn't believe it, but you know,
- 13:03Speaker 2: I mean, don't you feel like that's relatable, like you
- 13:06Speaker 2: sabotage something.
- 13:08Speaker 4: No, that's fine. I want to go back to the
- 13:09Speaker 4: first thing she said was I didn't realize until I
- 13:12Speaker 4: was filmed leaving the jail, and that's when I woke up. Bitch,
- 13:16Speaker 4: you didn't wake up after the arrest. You're you're attaching
- 13:19Speaker 4: it to being filmed while leaving the jail. That's when
- 13:22Speaker 4: you woke up. I mean, that's what I take to task.
- 13:24Speaker 4: I barely heard what you said after that because I
- 13:26Speaker 4: was so right right by that idea.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I don't know. Is it because she saw video footage
- 13:34Speaker 2: of herself? Is that what she means that she saw
- 13:36Speaker 2: herself the video for coming out of Joel?
- 13:39Speaker 4: That's what I think that means. But it's like, Okay,
- 13:41Speaker 4: what woke you up about the waking up in jail part?
- 13:45Speaker 4: Don't wake you up?
- 13:48Speaker 3: Right right? Sleepy?
- 13:50Speaker 2: She was sleepy, you guys. I have to mention that
- 13:55Speaker 2: last week when I did this recap, there was a
- 13:58Speaker 2: whole thing, Deanna, where you were discussing Dakota the domestic
- 14:03Speaker 2: violence call, and so we were very much like, if
- 14:08Speaker 2: she was going to get arrested, he should have too,
- 14:10Speaker 2: and we went in hard on that. Okay, Okay, Now,
- 14:13Speaker 2: since then, I have learned from the tabloids that allegedly
- 14:21Speaker 2: one of those chairs that Taylor threw hit or came
- 14:27Speaker 2: close to hitting Dakota's young.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Daughter nor her young daughter. No his wait thought this
- 14:36Speaker 3: was his. He doesn't have any kids yet. This is
- 14:39Speaker 3: his first, her daughter with Because I saw a picture.
- 14:43Speaker 3: It's a cut, I'm sorry. Okay, okay, okay, it's her daughter.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I mean if it's not, that's bonkers because it's like
- 14:49Speaker 3: her little face.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think it's her daughter, Okay, okay, Oh wow, okay.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So yeah, and I so that definitely changes GOO say
- 15:00Speaker 2: she did. Oh my god, so it really did hit her,
- 15:03Speaker 2: oh lord.
- 15:04Speaker 3: And I think he filmed it or the aftermath. So
- 15:08Speaker 3: I think that's where the cops that's why he didn't know.
- 15:12Speaker 2: They didn't mention anything about that, and that was very
- 15:16Speaker 2: deceiving for us as viewers to understand what was going on.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And it also wasn't mentioned on the show, which I
- 15:22Speaker 2: suppose I can understand. I mean, I certainly wouldn't want
- 15:25Speaker 2: that on there. But that is really horrific, horrific.
- 15:29Speaker 4: It was a bad, bad night for the old Taylor family.
- 15:34Speaker 4: That's a rough stuff.
- 15:35Speaker 2: So I just wanted to mention that. Now while we
- 15:40Speaker 2: get Leon and Taylor in the car and her mom's like, well,
- 15:45Speaker 2: you shouldn't have even been in that situation. I mean,
- 15:46Speaker 2: she's just like I know, Lyon, you can't go back
- 15:50Speaker 2: and change time.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Stop, Ryan, you got to calm down. You're being so
- 15:55Speaker 4: like told you so and that energy. We understand it.
- 15:58Speaker 4: You've already said it. We're in this situation where now
- 16:02Speaker 4: I did, like towards the end of the episode, she
- 16:04Speaker 4: was clear to say, we're very happy to welcome a baby.
- 16:07Speaker 4: We love baby. So she really wanted to like make
- 16:10Speaker 4: that clear on camera. So I get that Leyon, and
- 16:13Speaker 4: I also understand why Leyon is upset. I don't know
- 16:15Speaker 4: if this is the time to bring this up. But
- 16:18Speaker 4: I don't like that Dakota either.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I Oh, neither do I. I don't trust him for
- 16:22Speaker 2: one second. And I think Michayla is dead on. Thank
- 16:26Speaker 2: god she's spoken to it, because she's the only voice
- 16:29Speaker 2: that we can like, I trust Michaela just like with
- 16:34Speaker 2: my life.
- 16:34Speaker 4: That's why I put her in my will, just.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Like I trust all of these Mount talkers. I trust
- 16:39Speaker 2: them with everything in me.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Everyone you're off the whill. They all go to Michayla.
- 16:44Speaker 4: There's never been a nicer friend until that. Wait, while
- 16:47Speaker 4: we're getting ahead of ourselves, but I bringing that shit
- 16:51Speaker 4: up at the table the baby shower was I thought,
- 16:54Speaker 4: very bitchy.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Which part wait when what who brought what up?
- 16:59Speaker 4: At the baby shower? Mackayl was like and he was
- 17:01Speaker 4: texting her, inglet like at the baby.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, like Taylor. I mean, I couldn't quite make it out.
- 17:12Speaker 3: But while they were discussing where the f is Whitney
- 17:15Speaker 3: plus he's a pos and like they were like the
- 17:22Speaker 3: right off right to the side of them, I'm like, wow,
- 17:24Speaker 3: we're really having these conversations so close to the main.
- 17:29Speaker 2: They're willing to take risks by the way, I said, MICHAELA,
- 17:32Speaker 2: it's actually Macy, So I apologize it's Macy.
- 17:35Speaker 3: That everyone's names are spelled like strangely, I just accepted,
- 17:40Speaker 3: like it was spelled Macey what she says it's called
- 17:44Speaker 3: you know.
- 17:46Speaker 4: But yeah, I didn't catch it. I got to print
- 17:48Speaker 4: the picture out and put it on my wall where
- 17:50Speaker 4: I do my beautiful mind the drawings and string theory.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, it was shaming her, you know, like yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 2: texting she's like, yeah, I looked over her shoulder and boom,
- 18:01Speaker 2: I saw it. This guy cannot be trusted. And you
- 18:05Speaker 2: know what was interesting is Dakota. I'm sorry, not Dakota Taylor.
- 18:08Speaker 2: At one point she was breaking up with him, and
- 18:11Speaker 2: then she got pregnant, so now they're really in it
- 18:13Speaker 2: to win it, and now he's like, I mean.
- 18:16Speaker 3: She definitely oh well, we're only on episode two, but
- 18:20Speaker 3: I don't she as the series progresses, like she basically
- 18:25Speaker 3: is constantly one foot out the door, like beyond.
- 18:28Speaker 2: One baby bomb out the door, because there's gonna be
- 18:30Speaker 2: several baby bombs throughout the series.
- 18:33Speaker 4: When he when he when he shows up, when he
- 18:36Speaker 4: goes like hey and he jumped in like that, it
- 18:39Speaker 4: was so triggering to me of like smarmy guys that
- 18:42Speaker 4: I can't stand and have. Yeah, I had some interactions
- 18:45Speaker 4: with of a certain variety and then showing up with
- 18:49Speaker 4: like seven boxes, and I loved when freend Durs was
- 18:51Speaker 4: like he had no furniture, just a box of dirty laundry.
- 18:55Speaker 4: I'm like, who, yes, you have it. The nail on
- 18:57Speaker 4: the head.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Now why did how did we go from like you know,
- 19:02Speaker 2: Taylor's like, yeah, he's moving in up, that's him right now,
- 19:06Speaker 2: you know, to her parents being like the dad fred
- 19:10Speaker 2: Durs looked like, I mean he was gonna get a
- 19:12Speaker 2: shotgun out and just like not let him even enter
- 19:15Speaker 2: the premises, premises it, and.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Then to try yeah, oh no go ahead, no go
- 19:22Speaker 3: go go go.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Well, I was just gonna say, they they they pivoted
- 19:26Speaker 2: so quickly from you know, obviously pooh pooing him, moving in,
- 19:33Speaker 2: shaming her, being like you should never be in the
- 19:34Speaker 2: situation and all this stuff to ha, you just move
- 19:38Speaker 2: in with chicks? Is that what you do? Office? Bump
- 19:40Speaker 2: elbow bump, buddy, you know what I mean? Like it
- 19:43Speaker 2: seemed I was like, this is a reenactment if I've
- 19:45Speaker 2: ever seen one. It's just a reenactment to me. But
- 19:48Speaker 2: I don't typically like to I don't always pull down
- 19:52Speaker 2: that curtain. But they seem to kind of like him
- 19:55Speaker 2: a lot more than what they are leading us on
- 20:00Speaker 2: to believe. I could be wrong, But what were you
- 20:03Speaker 2: going to say about the no?
- 20:05Speaker 3: I mean in the same realm the parents to me
- 20:10Speaker 3: in the car, the hole I am in the car
- 20:13Speaker 3: every time we're with them. The subtext is we have
- 20:18Speaker 3: to say these things so the community at large knows
- 20:22Speaker 3: that we are attempting to hold the Mormon line. You know,
- 20:29Speaker 3: That's always what I'm feeling from them.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred, one hundred, and I appreciate that to
- 20:37Speaker 2: a certain level, without the passive and also aggressive you know,
- 20:44Speaker 2: shaming about it, like I don't know, I guess you
- 20:47Speaker 2: could hit it a little more in the head, like, well,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you know that in the Mormon short Church we believe this.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But despite that, I will support you. Although I guess
- 20:56Speaker 2: maybe she's doing a pretty good job of that, if
- 20:57Speaker 2: that's what her whole m O is. I don't know.
- 21:01Speaker 4: It didn't occur to me, but I think you're absolutely right, Deanna. Yes,
- 21:04Speaker 4: absolutely she She is trying to get some stuff on
- 21:07Speaker 4: the boards, you know. And and uh, you know, I
- 21:12Speaker 4: think that that Taylor is has embarrassed her family. They're
- 21:19Speaker 4: a little embarrassed, you know.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I mean I'm embarrassed. You know.
- 21:23Speaker 3: It's not nothing she did, you know, do a lot.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel I feel for Taylor. I prefer I
- 21:32Speaker 4: think she's I like her, you know, I think that. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 4: I like her too, But I think she's, you know,
- 21:36Speaker 4: got a little bit of a flaky pastry, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 4: cruss going on. There's a little bit flaky.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Flaky painstry. So we we get into the other girls. Now,
- 21:47Speaker 2: the other girls are getting together because I mean, look,
- 21:50Speaker 2: you guys, mom talk it needs to change, and like
- 21:52Speaker 2: we need to get back to what mom talk was,
- 21:55Speaker 2: you know, we need to change the culture of mom
- 21:58Speaker 2: talk because the Swingers scandal, you know, that got a
- 22:01Speaker 2: lot of publicity, which was really good, but ever since
- 22:04Speaker 2: the arrest, it has been the complete opposite, and brand
- 22:08Speaker 2: dolls have gone down. And I think we all have
- 22:12Speaker 2: got to get to together and j'all and not go
- 22:16Speaker 2: to Jill and do these bron dolls. And so what
- 22:21Speaker 2: do you think about sex toys?
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, a box of sex toys at a Mormon lady party.
- 22:32Speaker 4: You know, I think that we're getting a hint of
- 22:36Speaker 4: the future episodes where I think it's gonna be good
- 22:39Speaker 4: because they're breaking off into two groups and I need
- 22:41Speaker 4: so I can understand who's who. Yes, but like that
- 22:44Speaker 4: box and sex toys And then everyone been like I
- 22:47Speaker 4: never and I'm just.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Truly you guys, And I mean I was like when
- 22:55Speaker 2: they were Whitney was like, oh yeah, I'm getting offered,
- 22:57Speaker 2: and she's like doing all these signs of how instead
- 23:00Speaker 2: of just saying it out where, and they're like playing
- 23:02Speaker 2: charades with the numbers and like two hundred thousand and
- 23:05Speaker 2: she's like, well that's backfired, no twenty yeah, oh.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Well that's this is her, She's this is the beginning
- 23:12Speaker 3: of us watching her attempt a coop for the lead position. Yeah,
- 23:19Speaker 3: and that moment there is why she can't land the coupe.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Diana, you are speaking such truth today. You have got.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I tell you what. But you know something when she

- 31:16Speaker 2: lives of Mormon wives. But you know what was interesting
- 31:19Speaker 2: about them talking about the whole like there was such
- 31:23Speaker 2: an arc about the sex toys ad funny arc with
- 31:29Speaker 2: Whitney going and talking to her mom about it, and
- 31:31Speaker 2: it really is an interesting thing seeing how some of
- 31:35Speaker 2: them would totally do it, some would absolutely not because
- 31:38Speaker 2: all she has to do is take a picture with
- 31:39Speaker 2: it now. She goes to her mom and is like,
- 31:41Speaker 2: are you okay with us? And her mom's like, hold on,
- 31:45Speaker 2: let me put the cast role in and take your
- 31:47Speaker 2: breath them. I think that is. I thought the mom
- 31:51Speaker 2: handled it very well. I thought she was very demure.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I thought she was Yeah, I mean, look any mody
- 31:59Speaker 2: of any it's she's mom in it up, you know
- 32:01Speaker 2: what I mean. And she's on camera and she's like
- 32:03Speaker 2: grown up Mormon. I thought that she really did a
- 32:05Speaker 2: good job. And I thought she was sweet, and yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 2: she did. She was really really cute. And I also
- 32:12Speaker 2: liked that Whitney felt comfortable enough to come to her
- 32:15Speaker 2: and talk about this openly and she's like, well, I'm
- 32:17Speaker 2: going to do me and that's you know, that's what
- 32:19Speaker 2: I'm doing, just putting it on the map.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yes, and the younger daughter being there too, right like
- 32:24Speaker 4: that was a generational vibe right in my tail.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we were trying to kind of do a gotcha
- 32:32Speaker 3: with the mom, but mom handled herself, so she did.
- 32:37Speaker 4: You know. I think they had a really honest with them.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Ahead take a lesson from yeah, right, go ahead, James.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I was just going to say that I thought that
- 32:50Speaker 4: that mom whatever her name is, Whitney mom was was
- 32:54Speaker 4: really authentic. And I thought that was a really interesting
- 32:57Speaker 4: moment between Whitney and her where she's like, you never
- 32:59Speaker 4: told me, you never I didn't know what the hell
- 33:02Speaker 4: and and I was just watching them with the younger
- 33:05Speaker 4: daughter and I was thinking, I bet she will rectify
- 33:08Speaker 4: that with this daughter. And then she said, you know,
- 33:10Speaker 4: I should have said to you, do you have any questions?
- 33:13Speaker 4: I never said that. And then although Whitney was like
- 33:15Speaker 4: our first night was a horror show, I'm like, well,
- 33:19Speaker 4: I mean, people figure it out, but I mean, you know,
- 33:21Speaker 4: you must know some things.
- 33:24Speaker 5: You know.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I also thought that it does you don't have to
- 33:27Speaker 2: be Mormon to have that experience, and I did think
- 33:31Speaker 2: it was probably very relatable, and with Leila saying she
- 33:34Speaker 2: had never had an orgasm before, you know, this is
- 33:37Speaker 2: where I think female empowerment and them changing the game
- 33:40Speaker 2: and the mom talk world is actually speaking a good message,
- 33:44Speaker 2: which yes, and I really did like the story between
- 33:48Speaker 2: her telling her mom like I wish you would have
- 33:50Speaker 2: told me, and you know, and that's a thing like
- 33:52Speaker 2: generational stuff. It's I don't even remember my mom really
- 33:56Speaker 2: saying that much either. So it's like I said, it's parents.
- 34:00Speaker 2: You're right, so it's not just a Mormon thing.
- 34:03Speaker 3: No, I do think it is unique for the first
- 34:07Speaker 3: time you're having sex, is your wedding night being a disaster?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Is unique to religious background, Like that's not most people.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Most people like have had sex with their soon to
- 34:20Speaker 3: be But Debby, did your parents have a talk with you?
- 34:24Speaker 4: Jamie? Yes, and it was hilarious as you could probably imagine.
- 34:29Speaker 4: I just wanted really quick before I forget it because
- 34:31Speaker 4: my train of thought is crap. But you're right, Deanna,
- 34:33Speaker 4: I think that it's only unique to religion, but all
- 34:36Speaker 4: the religions. So it's like my friends, yeah, yeah, they
- 34:39Speaker 4: didn't know. And my mom when she gave me the talk,
- 34:43Speaker 4: and I recently brought this up to her and she
- 34:45Speaker 4: was like, I don't remember this. She was like in
- 34:47Speaker 4: a bad mood and she said it to me in
- 34:50Speaker 4: a pissed way, and it was absolutely hilarious. She's like,
- 34:54Speaker 4: I gotta have set be like this. Like she was
- 34:57Speaker 4: just kind of like a in a My mom is
- 35:00Speaker 4: literally the.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Nice so wetest.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Chair up. Yeah, she had a little chair, but she
- 35:07Speaker 4: was like in a bathroom. She was just like, here's
- 35:11Speaker 4: like she was just kind of in that moment and
- 35:14Speaker 4: it would be so funny. And I remember I already
- 35:18Speaker 4: kind of had known anyway, because I was very exposed
- 35:21Speaker 4: to a.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Lot of theater and straight sex talk.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, like a lot of shit. But yeah, but
- 35:26Speaker 4: it was more like she was just like trying to
- 35:28Speaker 4: like in the mood, and then she just I guess
- 35:30Speaker 4: she just thought, you know what, I might as well
- 35:31Speaker 4: just drop the bomb on what this is. And it
- 35:34Speaker 4: was really funny.
- 35:35Speaker 2: That is so hilarious and I would actually love to
- 35:37Speaker 2: see that in a movie reenacted, you know.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it was very funny. People have said we should
- 35:43Speaker 4: do a movie my mom and it would be like
- 35:45Speaker 4: Postcards from the Edge.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Like yeah, oh yeah, I've been trying. Yes, I wanted
- 35:50Speaker 2: to write years greenplay. So yeah, I absolutely thought that
- 35:55Speaker 2: was a great scene, really really interesting. The brand conversation
- 35:59Speaker 2: was great to hear how the brand deals went down,
- 36:02Speaker 2: and and then we kind of really get a little
- 36:06Speaker 2: bit more into Jen Affleck. We've been now she's explained
- 36:10Speaker 2: to us she is, in fact Ben Afflex, you know, cousin,
- 36:14Speaker 2: because her husband is Ben Affleck's cousin. She's never met
- 36:17Speaker 2: him and she though she wouldn't do a sex toys
- 36:22Speaker 2: commercial or ad, she apparently is the porn star of
- 36:25Speaker 2: the group according to all of them.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Yeah, what the hell are they talking about?
- 36:29Speaker 2: I don't know, but we saw the pictures of that
- 36:32Speaker 2: other gal who I don't even know, Demi maybe was it.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Demi was showing us pictures and they were all like, whoa,
- 36:40Speaker 2: so you know that's diaper brand too.
- 36:45Speaker 3: You're in for something with Jen and her husband Ben
- 36:48Speaker 3: Affleck's second cousin because he, I think, why, I'm okay
- 36:55Speaker 3: with what's Taylor's guy's.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Name, Dakota Coda.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I'm almost okay with Dakota because of how disturbed I
- 37:04Speaker 3: am Byela.
- 37:08Speaker 2: WHOA.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Wow. Yeah, that's a good that's a good foreshadowing tea
- 37:16Speaker 4: for us.
- 37:17Speaker 3: It's a lot, it's a lot.
- 37:20Speaker 2: It's coming okay for us. Hm hmm okay. Well, it's
- 37:26Speaker 2: weird because we haven't seen any of other any other
- 37:28Speaker 2: husbands except for Dakota, which I mean is not a husband,
- 37:32Speaker 2: but like, we haven't seen any other partners.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Yeah, we haven's hair dying weirdo Whitney Whitney right, all
- 37:40Speaker 4: the different hair hair.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And I forget there was such a huge part, like
- 37:45Speaker 2: the old Tinder thing, like we haven't seen.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Any episode in a different disguise.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I mean obviously because he's been living a second life.
- 37:57Speaker 3: He needs it. Yeah, me sent on our thread. It
- 38:02Speaker 3: was really important to see it organized in that fashion.
- 38:05Speaker 3: But all of his looks laid out in an Instagram
- 38:09Speaker 3: and I was like, yeah, I actually really needed that
- 38:12Speaker 3: because these were slipping past me.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 2: It was like the TikTok was like and another one
- 38:17Speaker 2: and another one. Like the background was really fun. Okay,
- 38:25Speaker 2: so here nor there.
- 38:26Speaker 4: I've written out a phonetic way to say, uh, what
- 38:29Speaker 4: we would call Demi Moore. She's deem me.
- 38:33Speaker 2: She's Demi dem Me.
- 38:36Speaker 4: I wrote, like, I deem you the Queen of England
- 38:41Speaker 4: me deem it me.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I can't, I won't.
- 38:45Speaker 4: They're lucky if we even get their names. There's so
- 38:48Speaker 4: many of them.
- 38:49Speaker 2: They have, like they've got a lot of nerve to even.
- 38:52Speaker 3: As you know what I mean, Like don't don't.
- 38:57Speaker 2: You want us to say it like that and spell
- 39:01Speaker 2: it like that?
- 39:02Speaker 4: The spell it like that? Mormon parents. Yeah, these Mormon
- 39:04Speaker 4: parents were getting pretty uh creative with their names. Okay,
- 39:10Speaker 4: all these women and by the way, Episode two rolls
- 39:13Speaker 4: out two new women? Is every episode going to roll
- 39:15Speaker 4: out new women? Because I can't remember the one Give
- 39:18Speaker 4: Me five Housewives, New Jersey episode season two. This is
- 39:23Speaker 4: a lot of bitches.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Who would we get I don't even know who you're
- 39:26Speaker 2: talking about. Do we get new people?
- 39:28Speaker 4: I think that was the rollout of Laila and jen Affleck,
- 39:32Speaker 4: wasn't it.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Oh but we did see them at the parties. I
- 39:36Speaker 2: mean we saw them at the other mom talks. We
- 39:39Speaker 2: just didn't talk to him.
- 39:40Speaker 4: There were so many they were there.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, we just didn't get their stories. I
- 39:45Speaker 2: see what you mean. You're right, You're right.
- 39:46Speaker 4: They were in the background, just another sea of highlighted
- 39:50Speaker 4: brown blonde. I don't know, I just brown blonde.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yes. When when Demi's like, oh yeah, I'm so now,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I'm just I'm laughing at it now. I'm just laughing
- 40:06Speaker 2: at right.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Okay, you're you're I think you're caving, is what I think.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Okay, I'm in it. When Demi was like, oh yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 2: I'm really sexual. And then but I'm so conservative, I'm
- 40:15Speaker 2: like you gals, like if I were Mormon, if I
- 40:19Speaker 2: was full on Mormon, I would be so mad at
- 40:22Speaker 2: dragging my religion all over their mom talk and their
- 40:27Speaker 2: little asses shaking. I'd be like, put some respect on
- 40:30Speaker 2: my religion and don't associate me with it, you know,
- 40:33Speaker 2: and say you're a conservative. I would be one of
- 40:35Speaker 2: those like really pissed off Mormons right now, because I'd
- 40:38Speaker 2: be like, I'm doing it right, They're not, how dare they?
- 40:41Speaker 2: I know? I would, you, guys, I would. I'm sorry,
- 40:43Speaker 2: I would be that bitch.
- 40:44Speaker 4: I would gay though you wouldn't even be privy to
- 40:50Speaker 4: this information. You wouldn't even know what TikTok was if
- 40:52Speaker 4: you were that Oh you know, so you have to
- 40:55Speaker 4: think about that, probably know about it.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Maybe not well anyway, if I havelf like hopped up
- 41:02Speaker 5: on a big thing of soda and march over to
- 41:05Speaker 5: one of their top sessions and just give them a
- 41:08Speaker 5: piece of your mind, yeah, they.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Don't turn it in, but.
- 41:16Speaker 2: It is so funny to me. The irony of being like,
- 41:20Speaker 2: I'm so conservative and my religion and I will not
- 41:24Speaker 2: do a commercial for sex toys, but like shaking their
- 41:29Speaker 2: ass all over for the world to see, is like
- 41:33Speaker 2: the most sweet irony and I have to love it,
- 41:36Speaker 2: Like that's what I love about it. Is kind of
- 41:38Speaker 2: like the hypocrisy of it. I mean, that's what I
- 41:40Speaker 2: think is fun to watch.
- 41:42Speaker 4: That they don't cuss, but they're like, I'm like, I
- 41:46Speaker 4: don't do that.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Right, I don't do that. That is strategy. Okay, So
- 41:53Speaker 2: we are talking about the baby shower, Macey and Taylor
- 41:57Speaker 2: get together and Macy's like, I hate Dakota. You know,
- 42:02Speaker 2: he's trash. He's not treating you well. And she's like, yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 2: well it's too late. I'm pregnant. And he called you
- 42:09Speaker 2: a slut, and we get that whole thing. Macey doesn't
- 42:14Speaker 2: trust him, and Taylor's like, well, we're both toxic, but
- 42:17Speaker 2: we're better now. Meanwhile, Dakota is obviously doesn't like Macy
- 42:23Speaker 2: because he knows that she's the one that has his number,
- 42:27Speaker 2: so he's trashing her to Taylor. And then we go
- 42:32Speaker 2: to the salt room with Whitney and Layla and the kids,
- 42:36Speaker 2: and Whitney's like, you know, mom talk needs to take
- 42:39Speaker 2: you know, a step, you know, step in front of
- 42:42Speaker 2: Taylor and like, I'm not supporting it. I don't know her, Like,
- 42:45Speaker 2: we were never friends, we don't have a friendship. I
- 42:48Speaker 2: don't even know what mom talk is. But we need
- 42:50Speaker 2: to change it. And I'm not gonna have anything to
- 42:54Speaker 2: do with this divorce and the arrest. I'm I'm fine
- 42:58Speaker 2: with my husband like cheating on me and like doing
- 43:01Speaker 2: all this stuff. That's not a bad name for mom talk.
- 43:04Speaker 2: But like a divorce and arrest.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Is booth his thoughts thoughts boof. But one thought I
- 43:12Speaker 4: have is at that dinner when Dakoto's like, she doesn't
- 43:14Speaker 4: even like our pictures, I'm like, shut that hell up,
- 43:18Speaker 4: shut up. That is so dumb. I hate that. I
- 43:22Speaker 4: hate when guys are like so petty with their women too.
- 43:25Speaker 4: I'm like, just there's so many guys we know amy
- 43:28Speaker 4: that would be like what they don't even know at you.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Like on a picture. Wow, that a guy would care
- 43:34Speaker 2: about that is crazy fucking that.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you're clocking exactly. And it's like it's like
- 43:39Speaker 4: he's just he knows she doesn't like him. Well, why
- 43:41Speaker 4: not take the high road. I understand she doesn't like me.
- 43:44Speaker 4: I'm gonna do my best to show her that I'm
- 43:46Speaker 4: serious about you, Taylor, and I'm serious about our baby.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Oh oh, and even if he had done that, like
- 43:51Speaker 4: like hello, you're also on camera, you could try to
- 43:54Speaker 4: take the it's called the high Road. Yeah, and he's
- 43:57Speaker 4: like so down in the dirt with I'm like, you gross.
- 44:02Speaker 3: But she checks him though, which which is why I
- 44:05Speaker 3: like Taylor, because she's like, well, she's who I can fight,
- 44:08Speaker 3: and he's like, but she's the only person who fight
- 44:10Speaker 3: and she's like, yep, she did stand up to him.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, that's exactly it.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Yeah. I was happy to see that. That was good.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I just don't want her to get, you know, steamrolled
- 44:22Speaker 2: by this guy. Now, let me ask you this, since
- 44:24Speaker 2: you've seen all the episodes, Deanna, okay that is, And
- 44:28Speaker 2: I'm not going to ask for a spoiler. I just
- 44:30Speaker 2: want to know. Well, I mean, I guess this would
- 44:32Speaker 2: be a spoiler, but okay, I saw a like you know,
- 44:35Speaker 2: the trailer.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Remember that I was doing a lot of baseboards bats
- 44:38Speaker 3: as I watched.
- 44:41Speaker 2: I'll take that in consideration, So maybe you wouldn't have seen.
- 44:44Speaker 2: But is it the same? Is it Dakota with her
- 44:47Speaker 2: the whole time? There's no new guy that Dakota has
- 44:50Speaker 2: in her life?
- 44:51Speaker 3: Later, is there that Taylor hasn't in her life?
- 44:54Speaker 2: Sorry that Taylor has, Yeah, but that Dakota.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Has another time met anyone else No, okay, fact, well
- 45:03Speaker 3: this gets way past things. But supplemental mom to talk
- 45:09Speaker 3: Mormon Housewives content. They all did the Nick Vile podcast
- 45:16Speaker 3: and then Taylor also did her own, and in that
- 45:20Speaker 3: way they're still together.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Wow is that no? No? I mean everyone is watching
- 45:28Speaker 2: think they're going to be together for a while.
- 45:30Speaker 4: When you kill the baby is born, and probably when
- 45:32Speaker 4: the baby's like too, he'll hit break.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Isn't the baby born? Now? It has to be right.
- 45:38Speaker 4: I don't understand the time the baby is born.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Baby is born, yes, but you'll see there's.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Two years old.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I doubt I understand that time.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Two years old, he'll be out of there, maybe three.
- 45:52Speaker 2: They're gonna start shooting season two when the baby's twelve.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Twelve years later. Yeah, he kicks it up. The reason
- 46:03Speaker 2: why why I.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Feel like Dakota is going to be Okay, now I'm tripping,
- 46:07Speaker 3: but I know that I don't see myself but not
- 46:11Speaker 3: even not just like I don't know. I'm I think
- 46:17Speaker 3: she almost has so many guards up right now that like,
- 46:23Speaker 3: I don't think he has another path but to kind
- 46:26Speaker 3: of like. But but then again, he called her a
- 46:30Speaker 3: fing slot, so you know that's terrible, and he was.
- 46:34Speaker 4: Or something right? Wasn't he was?
- 46:36Speaker 2: I'm not sure what it was.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, I'm rooting for him, and that's probably wrong,
- 46:44Speaker 3: you know.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Well, no, it could be right. Maybe it is, like
- 46:46Speaker 4: maybe he maybe he. I mean, this is a television show.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Perhaps they haven't rolled him out in the best light.
- 46:53Speaker 4: I think that's possible. And even sitting there at the
- 46:56Speaker 4: table with her, one thing he was dead on about
- 47:00Speaker 4: is when he said about Macy m A y C
- 47:04Speaker 4: I H I c C I Macy. What he said
- 47:08Speaker 4: about her being a little bit shady absolutely comes to
- 47:12Speaker 4: fruition at the baby shower when she's laying out all
- 47:16Speaker 4: of Taylor's tea and a table set in support of
- 47:22Speaker 4: the baby of these people, and she had the doll.
- 47:26Speaker 4: I thought that was a very shady thank you.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely shady.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I loved it, totally shady.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Well.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I when I saw like the trailer for What's to come,
- 47:44Speaker 2: Dakota doesn't look like Dakota to me. So that's why
- 47:48Speaker 2: I was like, is that a different person? Because I
- 47:50Speaker 2: can't I don't know what's happening, Okay, So that's why
- 47:56Speaker 2: I wanted to ask that. So after we leave the room,
- 48:00Speaker 2: we understand, and Layla's the only person and she's gonna
- 48:03Speaker 2: be the messenger, which is that Whitney is done with
- 48:05Speaker 2: Taylor and is not going to come to the baby shower. So,
- 48:10Speaker 2: and it is interesting to see and note that Taylor
- 48:13Speaker 2: is like I, she's making an effort to come back
- 48:15Speaker 2: to the church to like do things right. So she's
- 48:17Speaker 2: having this baby shower. She's trying to redeem herself. She's
- 48:21Speaker 2: distance herself from all her friends since they didn't pick up.
- 48:24Speaker 2: No one picked up a show yet, but she's not
- 48:27Speaker 2: sure it was going to be there for her. But
- 48:28Speaker 2: everyone pretty much shows up and except for Whitney, and
- 48:34Speaker 2: Layla is like, yeah, Whitney's not coming. Taylor is surprised,
- 48:39Speaker 2: and then Lyon goes and fucking picks up the phone
- 48:43Speaker 2: and calls Whitney.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Might I speak on this? Oh? I got pleased when
- 48:49Speaker 4: a mom get involved. My mom could have cared less
- 48:52Speaker 4: what the fuck I was doing. That is insane. I
- 48:55Speaker 4: cannot imagine my mom calling up, even as a teenager,
- 49:00Speaker 4: one of my friends and being like, you've really upset you.
- 49:03Speaker 4: My mom was she was a working mom, she was
- 49:06Speaker 4: busy like that seems so and now she's older. Taylor
- 49:10Speaker 4: is older, she's pregnant. Why aren't you here? I thought
- 49:13Speaker 4: that was a little bit.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Far, like on, oh my god, so far, which makes
- 49:16Speaker 2: me think that she's thirty five years old.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Like you know what I mean.
- 49:19Speaker 2: That's why I'm like, she's so young. She's in the
- 49:21Speaker 2: common we know, she's in the comments section of her
- 49:23Speaker 2: daughter's tiktoks. I'm surprised she didn't call and say, Whitney,
- 49:26Speaker 2: this is mom Talk calling. You were needed here. I
- 49:29Speaker 2: mean that actually might have gotten her there if mom
- 49:31Speaker 2: Talk was calling. But I actually kind of love that
- 49:34Speaker 2: Whitney answered the phone like.
- 49:36Speaker 4: Oh I didn't like that. Disrespectful?
- 49:40Speaker 2: Well it was disrespectful, but I mean it was but
- 49:43Speaker 2: like your mom is calling and she's like, what's up?
- 49:47Speaker 3: And actually thought I didn't.
- 49:48Speaker 2: You didn't like it?
- 49:50Speaker 3: Well, only because it's like I can't imagine giving, you know,
- 49:55Speaker 3: attitude to someone's mom. Attitude to someone's mom. It just
- 49:58Speaker 3: is again, there all only five years apart, so it
- 50:02Speaker 3: does you know, right right?
- 50:04Speaker 4: I did not like that she she was a bitch
- 50:07Speaker 4: on the phone. I think that's between me and Taylor.
- 50:10Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, dare you now if the mom called
- 50:13Speaker 4: me I'd be like hello, like what the hell, Yeah,
- 50:17Speaker 4: where are you? And I'd be like, you know what
- 50:19Speaker 4: I have to tell you. Leon. You know, I've always
- 50:22Speaker 4: respected you. I like you very much, But Taylor and
- 50:25Speaker 4: I are going through something and we probably just need
- 50:27Speaker 4: to deal with it on our own, Like there's a way,
- 50:28Speaker 4: there's a way to say it with less freaking attitude.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Well, do we think that the mom Leyon was, you know,
- 50:38Speaker 3: sensing that Whitney was trying to stage a coup and
- 50:42Speaker 3: that's why she is rolling up, you know, like it's
- 50:47Speaker 3: really not about the shower, it's about the power positions.
- 50:50Speaker 3: And she's like, I smell a coup.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Which dance moms vibes. Actually, if we can get some
- 51:00Speaker 2: of the moms up in this place, like Lianne and
- 51:04Speaker 2: let's have them have drinks, yeah, well j and get
- 51:11Speaker 2: them plotted because I love Whitney's mom, Like, yeah, nice lady.
- 51:15Speaker 2: She's gonna If it's Whitney versus Whitney's mom versus Lyon,
- 51:20Speaker 2: you know, Whitney's mom's gonna win because she's gonna handle
- 51:22Speaker 2: it with a little more cuteness demuureness. Yeah, but I
- 51:26Speaker 2: kind of want to see you know lyon get her
- 51:29Speaker 2: hands dirty. And this is what she showed us. She's
- 51:31Speaker 2: she showed us that she's capable of getting her hands
- 51:33Speaker 2: dirty by showing up in the comments, calling up the
- 51:38Speaker 2: you know, the enemy.
- 51:39Speaker 4: Popping off on our daughter on public television show. Also,
- 51:45Speaker 4: you know, like she's popping off on Taylor on TV.
- 51:48Speaker 4: She's not giving it the family and the family vaults.
- 51:52Speaker 4: Can I go back a second to that salt room.
- 51:54Speaker 4: I don't think it's for kids. That's not for kids.
- 51:57Speaker 4: It's not a playground. I don't want your kid pissed
- 52:00Speaker 4: and in my salt sanctuary. And the little boy was
- 52:03Speaker 4: pressing all those buttons and he turned on the heater.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Did y'all see that?
- 52:08Speaker 2: Yeah, they were running up, and I thought, you know there,
- 52:12Speaker 2: here's the other thing. Obviously the kids handled it well,
- 52:16Speaker 2: but you can get like salt overload in your system
- 52:22Speaker 2: very easily if you're soaking in it, you know what
- 52:24Speaker 2: I'm saying. So maybe if they're but still immersing your
- 52:28Speaker 2: child in a room like that, I mean, obviously it
- 52:30Speaker 2: must be okay because the people let them in. But
- 52:34Speaker 2: I was a little concerned about that. And also, like
- 52:37Speaker 2: you said, it's not a playground. You know you don't
- 52:40Speaker 2: want to go in there after some snotty kid has
- 52:42Speaker 2: been rummaging their fingers through the salt, and then you.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Toys not right building. They might have broken the rules
- 52:52Speaker 4: for her because they thought they were getting a light
- 52:54Speaker 4: shout out or something, but it's like, this is not
- 52:57Speaker 4: for kids. You're trying to double down down on a
- 53:01Speaker 4: shit talking session and do a play date with your
- 53:04Speaker 4: kids to play. I did not like that.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I don't think it was a shout out for the
- 53:08Speaker 2: place because she said, oh, whenever they're starting to get sick,
- 53:12Speaker 2: I bring him here. I'm like, oh my god, put
- 53:15Speaker 2: them in an epsom salt bath, Like, don't bring him
- 53:17Speaker 2: to a public anyway.
- 53:20Speaker 3: I've never heard of these things before. Like a salt
- 53:23Speaker 3: room is brand new news.
- 53:25Speaker 2: It was on Housewives last season at I think it
- 53:29Speaker 2: was the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I think
- 53:31Speaker 2: they went to a salt room there. Yeah, one of them.
- 53:33Speaker 2: I'm trying to think it was them, or it could
- 53:40Speaker 2: have been Potomac as well. I couldn't remember. Somebody went
- 53:43Speaker 2: into a room like that.
- 53:44Speaker 3: Really, and your the deal is you just sit in it.
- 53:47Speaker 3: That's the whole thing.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I've been in one. I feel like
- 53:50Speaker 4: I really a spa or something, or like one of
- 53:54Speaker 4: these mudbath things. I feel like I've been in a
- 53:57Speaker 4: room like that, filled with salt and like pink salt
- 53:59Speaker 4: in a salt A little salt stump somewhere in a room.
- 54:03Speaker 2: I've been there, that salt stump, salt stump.
- 54:09Speaker 4: There's something else I wrote down, and that's why I
- 54:11Speaker 4: have to mention it. It's very important. Whitney said this,
- 54:16Speaker 4: and it is one of the most disgusting phrases I've
- 54:19Speaker 4: ever heard uttered on reality television. I'm not going to
- 54:24Speaker 4: kiss her ass and lick her pee. Do not anyone
- 54:29Speaker 4: hear that? Where he said, I'm not it's her ass. No,
- 54:38Speaker 4: maybe in that room or maybe a little bit later.
- 54:40Speaker 4: It's towards the end of.
- 54:41Speaker 2: The front of her kids.
- 54:45Speaker 4: And they're like peepe. It was towards the end of
- 54:48Speaker 4: the episode and Whitney said about Taylor, I'm not going
- 54:51Speaker 4: to kiss her ass and lick her peek her ass.
- 54:56Speaker 4: I understand her pee. What is that? That's the grossest
- 55:01Speaker 4: thing I've ever heard uttered.
- 55:03Speaker 3: On her vagina right, not her you'reine.
- 55:08Speaker 2: She said, p p e oh oh. I think she
- 55:12Speaker 2: means pussy.
- 55:13Speaker 4: Oh, oh, you mean like pussy.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Maybe, yeah, well I didn't know.
- 55:17Speaker 4: Until okay, maybe better. That is better. Actually, I think.
- 55:21Speaker 2: We've I think we like crunch numbers. But like, if
- 55:25Speaker 2: she's gonna say ass, she might as well say pussy,
- 55:27Speaker 2: which is throwing you, throwing us off, because like, if
- 55:29Speaker 2: you're gonna say it, say it, why would you just sits.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Her ass and lick her pe? Okay, maybe so, but
- 55:37Speaker 4: p and P I wrote p ee and it amongst me.
- 55:42Speaker 2: So well, all right, only one way to solve it.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Let's go put this the captions up and let them
- 55:47Speaker 2: tell us.
- 55:50Speaker 4: It's a great idea. I might have to go back
- 55:52Speaker 4: and check that and see if if the cap Yeah.
- 55:55Speaker 2: It's like I always seven, by the way, asterisk dollar sign.
- 56:00Speaker 4: Uh thanks y'all. That was maybe I was maybe I
- 56:05Speaker 4: was having a little ding moment, but I was like,
- 56:07Speaker 4: lick her pee, beauty.
- 56:11Speaker 3: But I think she I think that what you are
- 56:13Speaker 3: feeling is she is nasty, Like there is something about
- 56:18Speaker 3: her that is nasty.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Yeah, nasty. She's a little bit nasty. Yeah, now, and
- 56:26Speaker 2: not in a good way.
- 56:29Speaker 3: No, it's not fun.
- 56:30Speaker 2: It's not fun a love island way.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I guess the reference.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Jamie finally finished Love Island. You guys, she was binging
- 56:38Speaker 2: it for like eight weeks.
- 56:40Speaker 3: It's hilarious, hilarious. It took her so long to get
- 56:44Speaker 3: through so many episodes. There's one million episodes, and you
- 56:50Speaker 3: were doing it alone.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Which fell isolating. Yeah, thank god we were there in
- 56:56Speaker 2: the chat for you.
- 56:57Speaker 4: But still, I know I'd write to them, would be
- 56:59Speaker 4: like and they're definitely gonna make it. It was.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Just a few weeks off. That's what the hard part was.
- 57:14Speaker 3: It's like, we could have all been together, but for
- 57:18Speaker 3: whatever reason, why didn't you do it?
- 57:19Speaker 2: She was she was traveling during the summer, she had
- 57:24Speaker 2: a lot going on. She could never like settle in
- 57:26Speaker 2: and watch it. Yeah, that's true.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Summer's busy trying to binge it. Why did it take
- 57:32Speaker 4: so long?
- 57:32Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it's not. It really is meant to be
- 57:38Speaker 3: consumed in real time because it's every night except for
- 57:41Speaker 3: Wednesdays and Saturdays, and you it's a mental.
- 57:46Speaker 4: Jump.
- 57:47Speaker 3: It's a leap where you're going, My summer is their summer.
- 57:50Speaker 3: We're doing this team, you know, it's different than Yeah,
- 57:57Speaker 3: and by.
- 57:57Speaker 4: The way, some of those episodes were over an hour
- 57:59Speaker 4: and you can condense it. I don't need to watch
- 58:01Speaker 4: every avocado toast being made. And some of those games,
- 58:05Speaker 4: some of those games were long and very stupid. Some
- 58:08Speaker 4: of those games, some of the games are good and sexy,
- 58:10Speaker 4: and I was like, oh man, love these games. I
- 58:13Speaker 4: love the costume strip game. But like some of the games,
- 58:16Speaker 4: I'm like, down the waterslide, hit in the face.
- 58:19Speaker 2: I'm like, I fast forward it through a lot.
- 58:21Speaker 4: Yes.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Emily tried to prank me so hard by saying, like
- 58:26Speaker 2: when it was one of those ridiculous games where nothing
- 58:28Speaker 2: happened and it took so long to get through the
- 58:31Speaker 2: game and it was stupid and you got nothing out
- 58:33Speaker 2: of it. She texted me and said, Amy, you have
- 58:37Speaker 2: to make sure you watch this competition, like every second
- 58:41Speaker 2: of it, or I'll still miss it because something happens.
- 58:44Speaker 2: And the second I started watching it, I go to myself,
- 58:48Speaker 2: She's so full of shit and I'm not falling for it.
- 58:51Speaker 2: And I skip right through it and I go, ha ha,
- 58:53Speaker 2: you try to get me, and she was she was
- 58:56Speaker 2: dumbfounded because I had her number, and she was like,
- 59:00Speaker 2: for sure i'd get you, and I go, you sure didn't.
- 59:02Speaker 2: So I outsmartted smotted on that one. Anyway, anything left
- 59:07Speaker 2: to say on this second episode of Mormon Wives.
