- 0:01[SPEAKER_02]: Rain a short hot line, at least you know Michael what's going on.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_02]: We know you have takes, we have takes.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm back to surprise that you're a rant line, rape line, whatever, is this completely full.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_04]: What can't we just win a game?
- 0:14[SPEAKER_04]: Can I blame Michael Cassfield for this?
- 0:16[SPEAKER_05]: Can I blame Bob Connelly for this?
- 0:17[SPEAKER_05]: Can I put on a zebra shirt and just go out there?
- 0:20[SPEAKER_05]: Scratch, claw, up against the wall.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_06]: Can I explain that one feeling right now, guys?
- 0:24[SPEAKER_05]: I can't believe it.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_06]: Let's open up that raised ball.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_03]: or can't believe U.S.C.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_03]: is undefeated in the ATC weight.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: We're in the big tent.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_03]: What the record.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh no!
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Hello everybody, welcome back to Rate of Troy Radio Episode 663 coming to you on Monday, October 12th.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to look back at S.C. 31-23 win over the Penn State, Nittling Lions, and Happy Valley S.C. goes on the road and wins a road game.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: In the Eastern time zone, in a wide out, against Penn State.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk about it with our friends from THT.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm your host, Marcos here at Journal of my co-hosts.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm travel hates Thursdays.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: We have revived it even if temporary,
- 1:29[SPEAKER_03]: It is great to be back, great to be back after win.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, we can't disclose wills location.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_03]: We had to sign a lot of NDAs when you left the program.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: Rest assured, he's somewhere in this universe or another.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think his new name is won't.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_03]: There it is.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: Ew.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, can he what time did you make it back from Pennsylvania?
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I think you're going to say from Happy Valley, just to the world.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yes.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_03]: And that was pretty late as well.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_03]: I, my, I had to get a connecting flight.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: I flew out.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: My flight was at 10 a.m. from Harrisburg, Sunday morning.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_03]: But then the nice part about traveling west is it's like, oh, you're basically back by like one o'clock, but my body clock did not feel that way.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_02]: At least, you know, today, indigenous people's day.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you had that one off to rest.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: It did not.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, it didn't go to me.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't go to me.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't go to the game.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I, yeah.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_03]: I was right back out of today, but I did.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: That bus ride sure felt better after a win.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_03]: I can imagine that I will back from Happy Valley after a loss.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, some on you watch the game all the way through your neck of the woods and in the Pacific nurse Northwest, yes, could you feel the vibes through the TV the vibes were immaculate and it was very cool and then also you don't getting text updates from Kenny.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: And just, yeah, I mean, the way out is an incredibly iconic, even though it's fairly young in its existence, seems like to be an already iconic sort of existence at Penn State, even though they've lost you in a row.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, yeah, I'll just start playing Pac 12 teams.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_03]: They just, yeah, and keep it up.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: This is true.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think, I mean, they did make it to the semis in 2024, but yeah, everything fell apart for them.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was it was Oregon that broke them last year, right?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Looking one the white out game and then Penn State crumbled crumbled after that.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: The lost UCLA then Franklin five.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Northwestern was the sort of the death blow the week after, but yeah, here we are the Trojans 6 and 1, all eligible, if you will.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: Before we get into the news, I want to do the game review segment first, we'll throw the news after.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: funds stats with Michael.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think that we've talked about before.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: I've added a few in here.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, Penn State average 2.19 yards per carry.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: The second few is the trodans have allowed on the road in the Lincoln Riley era, which is good.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: The only time that they've allowed last Purdue last year, 1.86 yards per carry.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: Last year at Notre Dame it was one, I don't remember that.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: Do you remember that?
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, they just must not have called anything in that game.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: who won.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then 2024 at UCLA was too.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: That was a very extremely forgettable as to UCLA game in 2024.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's why I forgot.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: And that one, SC, here's one, had 3.88 points per drive on Saturday.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: It is the most Penn State has allowed
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: by the free mode database at BCF Toys.org com whatever it is, which goes back to 2007.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: So at least 2006, all the way back then, it's the most points per drive Penn State has allowed at home.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_02]: They've played plenty, a good Ohio State team in that stretch, plenty of good Michigan team in that stretch.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: Late Indiana last year, National Champs in that stretch.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: And as see this past week, we had the most points per drive in any game.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: Also, gained 64% of their available yards on Saturday.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_02]: The most Penn State is allowed in a home game since the COVID-19-2020.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_02]: And again, dating back to 2007 in the Fremo database, only three teams have gained more possible available yards, the at least the percentage.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: 2012 Ohio State, 2013 UCF.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's like the heart of the sanctions for Penn State for what it's worth, okay.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: And that one's brand of, right?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then 2010, Illinois.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if either of anyone got Illinois and UCF right, they should just take a lot of read.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: UCF is the, no, do a silly one picture.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah, 100%.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I think that it was,
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: not only was it a win for the coaches they they did it in a way that not many teams have done at Beaver Stadium is is beating a big 10 team with a now three and three record by eight a big deal in in a vacuum I don't think it's a big deal I don't think that's a statement when in a vacuum it's the context of it right it's the conquering the road game it's conquering the road game
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: which is a daunting place to go win a football game where nobody plays well in Beaver Stadium.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: I saw a stat that the top five most attended games Penn State has ever had at Beaver Stadium now all losses, but like they still don't they don't get their ass kicked there.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's like very difficult to beat Penn State still.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: And for I see to do all these things coming off of a loss two weeks ago, and then a win last week that felt very empty, I thought it was big.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: So, Simon, what was your reaction to the win?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's big in the context of the season, right?
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think if USC loses this game, it's very much the path of six and six, right?
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the wheels come off.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: there's no hope for Wisconsin, there's certainly no hope for Ohio State or Indiana and Maryland looked like the only walk on the schedule in terms of a win and UCLA had prior to Saturday was looking like a performance against Oregon.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: was great, defensively offensively, a lot, you know, left a lot to be desired, but then they also wanted more of ours.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: So, so that, you know, that one still looks hopeful now, but I think I think now with this one, at least you were, you were.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're looking at nine and three again, you know, and you know, I think, you know, Alicia was in the chat saying she's not convinced that it means a ton for the ceiling of the team, but which is probably fair, but I think it gives you the the whole peer is that you fix a few more things after the by week.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: You go to Madison and put up a good performance there.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then Indiana, yes, Indiana is the fronting national championship, but the National Champion, excuse me, but they didn't look great against Nebraska.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that game, you know, and USC's offense is still statistically high in every sort of,
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: measure that you look at in terms of whether it's FBI or S.P.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Plus, so that should give USU a chance really in any game, except for Ohio State, I would say.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I think, yeah, I think it kind of is a sigh of relief for a lot of the fan base.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine, you know, I don't think anyone thinks that this team's going to go when the national championship, but the hope is you fix more stuff in the by week that maybe the defensive
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: Improvement isn't just a factor of who they've played two weeks in a row, it probably has something to do with that, but maybe you're smart to miss them and things are getting fixed.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then kind of see how the rest of the season goes.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, can you you were there?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: How was the atmosphere?
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and like how does it compare to to other environments for you?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the atmosphere was incredible.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: We had a great time Penn State fans there.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_03]: We're for the most part very nice.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: Got to see a lot of them come by.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_03]: They're one of their aqua pellicrubs came by or tailgate and saying, yeah, it's just a fun, great.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_03]: just all out on grassy fields, all a sea of white fans tailgating before heading in, and obviously you saw on TV what it looked like inside, great atmosphere.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_03]: We were stuck way up in the top.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: We were on the opposite side of the band, but like the two little spots of red that you might see, or of Cardinal, I'm sorry.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I mean, they showed out, but we had talked last week about it.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: Well, ticket prices are really dropping on the secondary market
- 10:51[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know who's take it says were because that place was sold out and the people like us picked up those cheaper tickets and it shut up to the game because it was a pack house and that was it was really exciting as for as for vibe of the game it's once again we're going back to that word we love context right.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: That game comes in the context of winning a white-out game.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_03]: I think before the season, if you had said, going into the by-week, you're 6 and 1.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_03]: Would we all have taken that?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think so.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: You're 6 and 1 and you lost to Oregon.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's, yeah.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_03]: I think most of us would have taken that.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_03]: Now, the context of that is
- 11:45[SPEAKER_03]: the night before Washington got completely jagal bags, probably at home, and I had a lot of very happy with the win.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_03]: You always take a win over a loss, and I think there was definitely some good signs of, there's reason to believe now, right?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: If you were not, you could beat Wisconsin, whereas I think if we lost this, we're saying,
- 12:15[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think Penn State's very good this year.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's very much proof of concept, right?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's proof of concept that S.E.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: can go on the road and can compete that they can do all these things.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: And is it a little late in the Lincoln Rally era to have a road when like this?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: But you can't change that at this point.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing you can do is go forward, and Lincoln Riley did ham it up.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: Very, very excited after the game.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: I was watching the incident analysis that our friends over at uscfootball.com did.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: And they're doing their video on the field and Lincoln Riley is like taking laps around the field, walking around, soaking it in.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's clear that he felt the pressure, right?
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like I think he said it after the game.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: And it wasn't a Kirby smart.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: No one believed in us.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: We were like, yeah.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: No one that you're talking about.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: He's talking about us.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: Bigger yourself.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: You did.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, Simone, you were there.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: You had the good vibes.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: But.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was, I think in the, in the face of adversity, it was, it was big, especially because like, I think it would have been easy after the Oregon game to say, oh, well as us and just pack it in and maybe the Washington Games emblematic of that and then going on for the rest of the season, it just spirals out of control, but they didn't do that.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: don't get complacent.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: Don't assume that this is the new normal.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: Make this the new normal.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think is is the key here.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to go to the the PFF grades some some players of note.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: Jade might have a 87.3 we talked in the carcass that.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: probably the best we've ever seen him on the road.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: It was, according to PFF, it was the second highest this year.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: Only the Fresno State game was higher.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_02]: His highest road game before this was the Illinois game last year, which was 81.4.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: So 87.3, much better than the 81.4 a year ago.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: In that Illinois game, the difference, he threw a pick in that game.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: He did not throw a pick in this game.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: If you throw a pick in this one and not that one, maybe the ratings are swapped, but...
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: That is a big deal not to turn the ball over.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: But my offense experience is such an interesting one.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's so back and forth.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: Because they're
- 14:54[SPEAKER_03]: It's helped out by, and I'm sure we will talk about these amazing skill position players who are just world beaters as freshman.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's incredible.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: But my author, for every time, for every amazing throw, there's one, there's a back foot one that you're like, oh, no, oh, no.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: And...
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's, again, we've discussed before.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: He's not Caleb Williams.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: He's not.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'm darn old.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's not the quarterback.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to go out there and dazzle you and will you to the victory single handedly.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think, especially, you know, going to that second half, he was managing that game and wants the running started to work in USC's favor also in the second half.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_03]: that opened things up more, and I think, you know, we, she's seen to be able to settle down more in a way that was nice.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I thought you look really good tomorrow.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: You, you had thoughts on that?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: The throw, the, the, the, the money moved out of the pocket through on the run, and it, Tinnock, with the sliding catch on the slide line, that was bananas, that whole sequence was, that like that was, it was like,
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was in the, the rot discord starting game on saying, you know, Jaden is Cody Kessler basically, you know, all respected Cody Kessler is a, as a person and as analyst, helping with the, with Kili over there at, at a sea, but um, but you know, to Kenny's point, it's, it's a very up and down experience, but that game was, he was fantastic on Saturday.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: There were a couple misses, but they were in the first half, and I think the way he bounced back from those is more important than anything else.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: And he did have Trent mostly.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: Trent mostly back his first game after missing three with the knee injury.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: 79.2 is his pff grade.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: You look at
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: And the one that he didn't was the one that he went over a hundred all purpose yards, who's he had to put return forward.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: So the kid is incredible.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: I before the game, I had, I feel like I went in the game expecting nothing from Trent Mosley.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: I did an even think he would play given that he had been on the injury report for so long.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: uh, and then he goes out there and he's like the best guy on the field.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: I, I, I, I, how, just, how good is he, Kenny, because I feel like he's crazy good.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_03]: He's the best, I mean, you were talking about it on the car cast, but, you see, is like,
- 17:44[SPEAKER_03]: arguably RWRU, right?
- 17:47[SPEAKER_03]: Which are like the receiver school.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_03]: And he's, that he's doing this as a freshman makes him feel like he's going to be one of the all-time bests.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I agree with you, he's the best freshman receiver that I can get, that USC's had.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: I can't think of a player who is Ben just the best player on his side of the ball as a freshman right out of the gate.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: in a long time like I you couldn't even say that about to a cravings because sewer was playing on team with lendor Williams which is probably unfair to him in the in that context but like
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's rare, some on mostly and to look really good in this game, to look for catches 82 yards, you look at PFF, to no kind 73.2, all of the receivers were high up there, Zacharias Williams was had a high PFF grade as well.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: Your thoughts on the receivers?
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: The receivers are great.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think Trent's trend is a different level of play or kind of how you and Kenny were touching on it.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think he opens up a lot for the offense.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was evident on Saturday against Penn State.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's pretty clear that it was lacking against Washington.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: And he didn't play against Oregon, right?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I, no, no, no.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it was pretty clear that I think that was apparent in those games.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, exactly.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: element, someone in the chat saying Penn State, oh, Mr. Pook ahead, which is an incredible name.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Penn State was leaving so many receivers out when they light up 10 yards off the ball.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Usually, when defensive coordinator doing that, they are saying that they don't want to get beat deep.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I think
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: That shows you the kind of the fear that Penn State had in the respect that Penn State had for the wider sea record as a whole and for passing the means as a whole I think, you know, we talked about how bad Penn State was against the running against the Western U.S. he was never going to come into this game and try to run the ball 40 times enough through the ball.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's not the nature of the offense.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the nature of the talent on the offense.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: And even with that, I think mostly just makes things a lot easier for both Jaden and the offense of the whole ten-out kinds as the, as the, you know, with a really solid PFF score, I think, was fantastic.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: This was one of the best games I've seen him play in a while.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: So the, the, you know, KDW didn't shine as much and that's okay.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: But, but Trent and ten-out were fantastic on Saturday and,
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think defenses that have to worry about all three and we'll see if Bowman comes back after the by week.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what level of injury he has, but that would be, you know, that makes life very difficult for the defenses that U.S.E.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: plays.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think the bodyweight comes at a great time, not only for Bowman to potentially get back before the Wisconsin game, but we got to talk about left tackle, Elijah Page, misses the game, very late, Vlad Diocanoff doesn't get any sort of preparation, gets thrown in there, PFF Grafe of 58.8.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: Not the best PFF grade.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think anyone cares.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: He was not a liability in that game.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: There was one sack that that was given up on the left side in the first half after that nothing.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was fantastic, and given it, that he was put in a absolutely no-win situation, playing in perhaps a, you know, the amount rush more of difficult environments and college football and being thrown in there as a freshman with no expectation to that either.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: very good, very good.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_02]: On the defensive side of the things, Christian Pierce had the game of his life according to PFF, far away his highest PFF grade at 84.1, 85.1 in coverage, specifically, huge for the Trojans, because the safety has struggled in coverage so far.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: The season, he had an 83.6 grade in tackling
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: He forces the game winning strip late in the fourth quarter, which was massive.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: The rest of the defense pretty much all over the place.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: You had guys who were solid Cameron Crawford 78.2 to keep Stewart 74.2.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: Desmond Stevens comes back 65.2 not the highest grade for him, but I don't think he would necessarily a problem coming back off the the week.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he played a little bit better than that for what it's worth he did lead FC and tackles.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: Devon Bryant struggled 55.9 he did.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: get his ankles absolutely broken by Carson Hanson of Penn State who juke them.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: But I think the guy we have to sort of talk about in the struggle bus sense, Alex Finn Sumeran comes back after his injury to Oregon.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: It looked bad against Oregon.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think we all thought he was done against Oregon.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: He comes back the next week against Washington.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_02]: He has a PFF grade of 55.6.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: him not being fully healthy.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think is a problem because Alex from Sumeran is not the guy he was at the beginning of the season, whether it be the injury or whether it not be, whether it be the the upticking competition in conference play.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: but it's helpful that you've got to keep stood there.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's helpful that Florida Picard put in a good game, 72.7, PFF grade and only 9 snaps, streaming wind field, 71.4 and only 9 snaps as well.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think those two guys,
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: They struggled early in the season against the run.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: If they are going to continue to develop and progress, that will be huge if Alex mentioned we're in continues to be sort of a struggle there.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: I want to talk about the linebackers, Elijah Nubi, 90.7.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: He only played three snaps.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: So extremely small sample size means virtually nothing.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: But where I think that this is interesting is Jaden Walker 75.2 and only nine snaps.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: The linebackers as a whole,
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: rate it out pretty good in this game, which I think that loads well going forward because you need the linebackers to be more proactive.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, and Elijah knew we got the big defensive play a week ago with the strip sack against Washington.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: So can anyone think about the defense?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think this was definitely what you wanted to see, especially in the second half, but they were getting the stops they were there.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_03]: The first half, again, just has to the plays you hate to see, you know, just the long bombs that you go, oh, he's wide open.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_03]: Just the busted coverage there, but I thought they tightened up in the second half, and that was a story all of last year, right, was these adjustments at half time defense clamping up in the second half.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'm I'm happy to see that the linebacker play is seemingly improved overall.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to once again, goodbye to our favorite word of context.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think this Penn State offense is that elite.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're going to have to, you know, continue to, I think it's good that I see.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: has been fine on defense the last two weeks because they did not look fine on defense against Rutgers.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think that definitely gives you hope against Wisconsin absolutely, but yeah, you still need, there's still a lot of room to improve before you can feel any sort of semblance of confidence against Ohio State or Indiana.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Would you agree with that some time?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think um,
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: 23 and 21 are the target point totals for this defense.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if this defense is ever going to give up seven to ten of game.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you shouldn't need it to to give up seven today.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: You should be able to live with giving up three and a half scores.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: We'll call it and off ends doing its job and running a game.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think if they can get, you know, two to four stops a game and force, you know, force a couple of field goals like they did on Saturday.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's a winning formula.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think anyone is fulfilling themselves thinking that this, that this defense is going to be anything more than that.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I, you know, Mr. Pooke had, again, here, you know, Washington, Penn State or not, as they were, that don't want to, I don't think anyone is saying that, I think, I think you just need to, we just need to accept, you know, we don't need to tolerate it.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: But I think if we understand that this is what the defense is and how it's, how it's probably designed this way, to a degree in terms of limiting, trying to limit it,
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: live and die by some on some drives and and you don't die on some other sort of speak, but just sort of setting that expectation not maybe not the best one, but hopefully it's a little bit of both maybe there's some nuance here where the defense is getting better each week even if the quality of the opponent isn't up to snuff so to speak, but even if but if we can
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: per week, sort of point total, then, you know, that should be, should give us a chance in most games.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let's get to the news because there's something I want to talk about to build off a what you said there.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: I want to go to the polls.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: S.E.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: is 19th in the A.P.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: poll.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now, basically, whole firm from last week, a big part about this is you see a lay jumps them as they should have with the big win up on the road at Watson.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_02]: Iowa jumps them with the big road game at Washington.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_03]: Which makes sense?
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and Kentucky jumps them with the big home win over LSU.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think that all makes sense.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I, I, this is one of those things we, we talk about, the Poles are multi-dimensional.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Oregon fell out ahead of SC LSU fell down.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: All those teams that lost fell down.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, when you reach LSU?
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they lost it over time to the team that's number 15 on the road now like that seems fine.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that seems fine to me.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oregon.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oregon being, you know, just out there, there are 27th now for include others receiving votes, but Wisconsin, 26.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: And S.C. goes on the road there in two weeks, the time out for that game now is the kick off 430 p.m. on NBC.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: I do wonder if Noah Eagle and Todd Black
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this would be their fifth of the season so far.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_03]: Was it really?
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's hilarious.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is like the dream fans have had.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_03]: This is what people I think somewhat foolishly thought joining the Big Ten Met was every single game would be in prime time, but it actually has paned out.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_03]: The other year we were always the CBS game.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: Now this year we're always the NBC prime time game.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's great.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's the ideal time
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get into more time stuff in the mail bag because we got a call from Trojan fight that I want to get to.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think that SC is right there at 430, 430 for a lot of people is the sort of dream time.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: But I wanted to get to the point that Simone made about like the teams that SC is going to face, yes, there's an uptick in the second half of the year, Kenny, you are big
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so we're going to count Maryland as the outlier and you're down at 84, or sorry, 81.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: So just for context, right now, USC has only played one team in the top 35.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: That was Oregon, which was a two-square loss at home.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: On the road, it was constant who is 34th and SP plus Ohio State who is number one in SP plus Indiana is number five in SP plus and UCLA is 18.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: So we've played the easy part of the schedule now and we escaped with only one loss, which is good, we did what they were supposed to do, right?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think we mostly, yeah, I think they
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: should have beat this Oregon team.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_03]: But if you're looking up pure SQ+, yeah, the computers still like this Oregon team.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_03]: I, it's, it's why I'm hesitant to get, and people will come negative.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_03]: People will come negative this weekend, and it's okay.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's why I'm hesitant to get too excited or the Penn State win, because all of our toughest games are ahead of us.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_03]: Even, a wide out is its own special environment.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not just kind of got at all.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_03]: I do think this Penn State team was not as good as this Wisconsin team that we have coming up in a couple weeks who I would that will be ranked by the time of that game.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: If they can't help a business this week.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: And this will be a red out in Madison for sure in a couple weeks or what 10 days now.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think that it's one of those things where the schedule is getting to the tip of the spear.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be difficult, which is why like the Penn State thing was a proof of concept.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: proof of concept, who proof of concept, but as he can go on the road, they can go into a scary place and win because they had not reliably done any of that.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: And for years now, so I think it was big for them to do that.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: So Monday, any thoughts before we get to the mailback?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, Wisconsin playing with the new port harbors Colton Joseph.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm sure he'll have a lot of family and friends invested in that game and some shows a lot of C Cross over there.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: Ohio State is, you know, but we'll just call it an auto loss right we got you know, it's it's more so than Indiana.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think more so than Indiana, I think there's a lot, there's some discontent around Josh Hoover's quarter play at quarterback so far for Indiana.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_03]: Indiana has felt like they're playing with fire a little bit this year.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they didn't play great against Nebraska.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they beat the one common opponent in Rutgers so far, but West Tyson, Helton's worst year at Western Kentucky,
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: by Oklahoma State and then, you know, that Northwestern was a little bit of struggle, which is, you know, a testament to what Northwestern is done.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think North, you will, we'll see.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: And the end of does play Ohio State.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: Next weekend, I believe.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then, so, you know, that'll be, that'll be a close-up game.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that'll be huge game.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's a big game.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's sorry to interrupt, but it's it's going to be such a great weekend.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_03]: This is what's nice coming off of by a Sunday getting to listen to all the podcasts and they're not going to talk trash about your team, which is very nice and then that by week Saturday just being gained a sit back and just enjoy some football going on.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a good weekend for it.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: Tuna good games Wisconsin UCLA I think is is big which is just to our super chat.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: Dan Plobson contribution to send Michael to the Rose Bowl on Saturday in a scout Wisconsin.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I might know somebody with tickets.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we'll see.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: Just I'm just real quick, just UCLA losing Nico.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think changes.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what what that SP plus running will adjust to by the time it does.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: But I I do think that like what makes UCLA good is their defense in their run game.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: And so like yes, it changes that, but I don't
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: But what if you can, we'll learn a lot against Wisconsin.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: But if you can focus on literally making that pack of quarterback beat you, we'll have to see what if teams can do that.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think that makes it a little bit easier.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's get to the mail back.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: You've got mail.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, we gotta get the over under.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: What am I talking about?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: Run button.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: And you're going over.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_02]: How do you involve giving that over?
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going, I've got to take it under here.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: I got three under to take.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to do an under here.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: All right, over under.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: You got something smart?
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, real quick, detergent fight.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I buy out a lot of things.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying, I'm not saying blow out loss.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: I am saying just a loss.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever, whatever, for you all to understand.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: For whatever, I think they're not available.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_03]: I think they'll come scably when, unfortunately.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_03]: We will see, we'll see on see, we've got a lot of time for that happen.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it should see where black jerseys.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kidding.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kidding.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're moving on over.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: First over under.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, that we put together last week was over under 119.5.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, USC rushing yards.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I took the over, canny took the under some on took the over.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Alicia, chimed in with the over as well.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_02]: It was.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: over.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: It was $1.29 and I want to say that I said it was going to be something like $1.30.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel I feel good about that.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: But like this is the prime example of like it was $1.29.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that like there that was an important $1.29.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: because so much of that came in the second half, and there were a lot of important runs.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: I believe like I looked it up earlier.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: I believe there were six runs of six runs of 10 yards or more.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: Wisconsin had 12 of those for what it's worth.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, Northwestern had 12 of those for what is worth, but like I think that that was big to just be able to have those and pick those off when you needed to.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that helped us see a lot to chip away in the second half.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: Next one was three and a half cadence and why it catches.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: But can he took the over, some on took the over, at least took the over, I think we were all in agreement on that.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: This was going to be a K-nix and Wyatt game.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: It was under he had two.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_02]: He had two, but what was the touchdown?
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll take that.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, game winning touch.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm a fake game winning tough time.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 100%.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Next one, over under 0.5 USC 2.0 conversion attempts.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny and I both said over some honestly, she both said under it was under it was zero.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: There weren't any.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_02]: This was one of those games when S C needed to
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: you know, have a good coaching decision.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: They had them.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: They had them in this game.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't need to go to the two-point conversion.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_02]: If anything, Penn State was the one making the panic calls on fourth down and whatnot, which I think was a good sign to put Penn State in those positions to make those calls, not yourself.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_02]: Next one was over under four and a half USC offensive penalties.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: We all took the over.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: S.E.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_02]: had seven offensive penalties against Washington a week ago.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_02]: It was under and it was so extremely under.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: It was one, a fall starts early, early, early in the first, early, early, early in the first, first try.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_03]: The first thing to happen.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: I was feeling good about this.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then completely clean.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: The rest of the game.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: It felt better about that.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: This, this might have been the most important win of the game.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: Huge.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_03]: If you keep that up.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, again, I hate blaming penalties, but like,
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: If you play that clean against Oregon, I think that game goes different.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think if you play that clean against anybody in those tough games, you, it's all about maximizing your chances to win and not lessening that.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that helps.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_03]: This in a white out is one of the most impressive things to me.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, with a true freshman at left tackle.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: who's been thrown in there with no experience, no expectation, any of that stuff.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, next one was one and a half look way full tackles for loss, I.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I didn't note down what I took, but I'm going to tell you right now.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter because can you shift the over some odd and at least it took the under.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: It was a push.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_02]: It was exactly one and a half.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: This I guess is what I get for not making the line 1.75 or that 1.25?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: Or are you a great odds maker?
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but it was a push.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody gets nothing in that one.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: And the last one, 319 and a half Penn State total yards.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: We all took the over on this.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: It was over.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: It was 357 for Penn State, luckily for USC, that did not matter because SE held them to field goals and not touchdowns.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: So that was huge.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: I went to in three, some on three, and two, Kenny won in four,
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, big up to her most of John.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, look at that.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Undefeded, five, oh, and one, only person to say that.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Well done, hernose John.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: Top route box of the season so far.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the update.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, Steven Chad continues to be number one with 29, A-Ron for Madison at 27, a tie for third with DJ and Dave and Orange County at 25.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: John Cloud and Trevor M at 24.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: G-Pat are buddy Steven the Bay Area in pickle at 22.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then tied for 10th, right from our vine LA Fred and Trevor V.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: So thanks everybody for playing over under continue to do that.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: We we we love and appreciate you guys playing along with us.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: The Vegas spread was Penn State by one and a half at least at the time of recording last week for our pod.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't see what exactly it closed that.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: That makes you want to laugh.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, either way, SE covers.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's our second cover of this season.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I'm I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don't know but I don
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: It was a close game until the second half SC took control, wins by eight.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: At least this score of production was 27, 24, mine 23, 19, some month, 24, 18, Penn State's 31, 28 said Kenny.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: We were all sort of in the same ballpark, only Simone picked the win.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody else picked Penn State and we were wrong.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_03]: Were who Lincoln Riley was talking about?
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_03]: No, believe me.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: And you're welcome.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: We fueled the energy of the team.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's get to the ballpark.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we start with the five star review we got on Apple podcasts.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, thank you.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we haven't gotten a review in a long time, so we appreciate it.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: I saw review from day that says therapy for a U.S.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: He Trojan football fan long time listener first time reviewer.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know why it took me so long to write this review.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_02]: I've been a religious listener since 2015 or 16.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever I finally got an iPhone, I love U.S. e football though most of the last two decades have been more painful for me.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: complaining about only making it to roseballs, then complaining that they didn't make it to roseballs anymore, although 2016-17 was a special year.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: I listened to your podcast like one ghost that therapy for problems.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: You both understand my frustrations, ease my pain, and make me feel not alone.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't realize how emotionally attached I am to you both in this podcast.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like you are my family and friends at the same time.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: My partner will never
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: So she knows how much I love this podcast and Mike on the list.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: If please keep it going, many of us need this with a heart.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's nice.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: Extremely nice.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: You appreciate that.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_02]: We're loved.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: At least he were loved.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_02]: Just give me a thumbs up.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we got any mail from Tony.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Michael, Alicia.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_02]: This is Tony from the nor a PA. That was a great hard fought win.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_02]: I have a had a great game.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: The receivers kept making big catch after big catch.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_02]: The running game got going in the second half.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_02]: The defense played good.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_02]: We still had some issues in the secondary, but overall they really stepped up big.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: The punch out by Pierce was beautiful.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: That was a great technique.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: Also to have Riley get his due.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: He outcoached Matt Campbell.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: Tony sent from my iPhone.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: Summed it up perfect.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, it's time to think.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to the voicemails.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: We get a bunch of voicemails.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: Let's start with Ellie Fred.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, ladies, you're always Fred calling.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I get 10 states up some big powerhouse program right now.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_07]: And fc's way more talented.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_07]: And they did what was expected.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_07]: But we all watched.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't perfect.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_07]: Who cares?
- 45:16[SPEAKER_07]: Rogue wins for U.S.C.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_07]: over the past decade, have been, if you occasionally have noticed, hard to come by, no matter who the opponent is.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_07]: I feel that most of us Trojan fans and certainly myself included have been very critical of their play this past few weeks, and deservedly so.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_07]: But I also think it's proper to provide some love and praise when it's earned.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_07]: So at least for a minute,
- 45:42[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open back up that damn, raise, lie.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_07]: I thought my album looked much better, and dare I say, it was the best game all year, especially in the second half.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_07]: And how great was it to have Trent Mosby back out on the field?
- 45:59[SPEAKER_07]: So guys, these shows us again how good he already is.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_07]: Then at times, took another step forward and he is really showcasing
- 46:12[SPEAKER_07]: He's reminded me of a young, Drake London.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_07]: The Trojas are playing with a true freshman at left tackle and a walk on it left guard.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_07]: And yet the offensive line hardly missed a beat, especially in past protection.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_07]: Now, if only the run blocking and the forward push to get closer respectable, you have to see could really be cooked in with some gas.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_07]: As frustrating as a defensive bent for all of us,
- 46:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yet again with no pass rush and tight ends running seamlessly and dribbled through our secondary, the defense did completely bottle off the Penn State ground game.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_07]: Still, we allowed 68 total yards on a Paltry 2.2 yards per carry.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_07]: And also even though it seemed much worse, the defense only yielded two field goals in the second half, and I will take that any game.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_07]: Lastly, it would be a huge miscarter of justice
- 47:08[SPEAKER_07]: to not keep a little bit of credit and praise, at least to Lincoln Riley and his staff.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_07]: For some of the coaching up with the players, the game management, the decisions, the put the Trojans and several advantage positions on Saturday night.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_07]: Let's all hope that by some miracle, the more of that keeps happening.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_07]: The Trojans are six and one, and at least for a week, can we all just celebrate that?
- 47:33[SPEAKER_07]: Have a great by week, beat the badgers,
- 47:37[SPEAKER_07]: fight on everybody.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks to the call, Fred nailed it as always hit all the points.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think the pod's over.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that this is just right in a Fred now.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he hit everything.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: Talk about the one defensive thing that I wanted to point out about the second half.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: Hence, they won a seven on third downs in the second half.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, go.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_02]: Huge.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: I know that there were three of three on fourth down.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_02]: But like, and I know that that is frustrating.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_02]: but also fourth down is always gonna have a higher percentage than third down anyways.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: So like, yes, you gotta get better on third down, but like, on fourth down, but getting off the field on third down is massive and forcing teams in a duradized situation on fourth down is huge.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_02]: Can you get any thoughts?
- 48:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I, you know what?
- 48:29[SPEAKER_03]: I will turn down the negativity for a week because it does feel good to have a, it does feel good.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's two weeks.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's two weeks.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: Two weeks.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: We are not going to lose.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_03]: And we get the basket that we came back from traveling to East Coast and one of your game.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, it's good to have an orange candy.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to try a radio.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_05]: We'll set this day from Orange County.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_05]: Finally, a red wine.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_05]: Finally, something to hang your hat on, a big win tonight, moved to 61, the White-Out of 10-State.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I know 10-State's not a formal opponent, but I don't know any church is in that was walking to an interdisciplinary with a whole lot of confidence, but...
- 49:07[SPEAKER_05]: what a difference a trend mostly makes.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he just brings that just extra spark to the extra danger to this U.S.E.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_05]: offense that just makes it, that much more, that much more of a, of a force for the other team to have to deal with.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_05]: And then just since they had to be perfect on things and they just couldn't sustain.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: He even showed up when he needed to got the big fumble at the end, got a sack.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I mean, it was just sitting in a cage going, are we ever going to get a turnover?
- 49:36[SPEAKER_09]: Are we ever going to get a sack?
- 49:37[SPEAKER_09]: Is it what we needed it?
- 49:39[SPEAKER_05]: Sure enough.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_05]: We got it.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_05]: And even on the kick of the kick off the second half, I wanted to happy about it, but I suppose he wasn't bad.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, hey, you know, trying something different, I guess.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_05]: I think the bi-week incident come in at a perfect time to get our guys healthy up and especially on the defensive line, get some of these guys back, and then this hopefully will be just finished strong in the second half and crazy things happen today, usually I'd be Oregon and Eugene, that's nuts.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, let's pick up some momentum and let's keep fighting on because that's what we do.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_05]: All right, fight out.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: because of the call day was always I don't know that I talked about the on-site kick in the car cast and we haven't talked about it yet some on what what was your thought about the on-site kick.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: We won the toss and elected to receive right is that what happened?
- 50:36[SPEAKER_02]: I believe so yes.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah so what just a just a just a fair man like Alicia and Michael you have been making this point all season just a fair link in you that way you don't have to try anything like that
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: And my poor person King Ryan Sayeri, unfortunately, not the best night for him with that.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then they sent him out there for a 56 yarder, which was brutal.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: But he got a lot of leg on that thing.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then also he kicked one out of bounds, kick off out of bounds and explicably.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, unfortunately not the best night for him.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: it's fine.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: In hindsight, it's fine.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: Today's point, you know, it's it's good that they that they tried something different, but let's just, if you want to, if you want the ball back, if don't the ball in the second half, just defer and take it in the second half, like, and think it doesn't, it doesn't have to be a whole galaxy brain thing.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm going to be hypocritical here.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I think an on-site kick call.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, a sneak, I, on-site kick call is one of those things that is 1,000 percent results dependent.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Of course.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_03]: It works.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_03]: Then it works.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone is screaming their pants about how brilliant that was to steal a possession and all those things.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: And so like it didn't work.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I went into the discord and I believe I types Jesus.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, like it's one of those things is like, oh no, you just gave them a short field, I think the defensive stop there is massive force the field goal.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: Um, who knows, maybe if you don't do the sneak on to kick, maybe Penn State only gets three points in the second half and you win by 11, who know, maybe maybe that's how it goes.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but like, like, if you get it, you love it, you didn't get it, you hate it, but I think the defensive stop there sort of makes up for a lot of it.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: See your point, though, Michael.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to do it, you're going to do it with this defense, because if you're thinking this defense is going to give up points at some point anyway, might as well be quick in the start of the second half, or you have more time to respond that way.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's that side a bit too, right?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, it's the time and get, but yeah, to, you know, the U.S. the U.S. events that were spawned, so there you go.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: I have taught my eldest about the middle eight, and it is nice.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: He was watching, he's like, oh, the middle eight.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, let's go.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny because I didn't hear the term middle eight until like six, seven years ago, sorry, six, seven years ago.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: When I think Bella check was talking about it a lot.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a perfect thing because I've always thought this for years.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_02]: My entire life, I've thought about like,
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: I want nothing more than the score right before the half.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then score when it comes out of the half and you turn a game on its head like that.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_02]: You can, you can be up by three.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_02]: You score right before the half.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_02]: You score out of it and suddenly you're up by 17 and they haven't even touched the ball.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like that kind of thing is, is huge.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: And SC didn't win the middle late, but it didn't matter.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: Which I thought was was a good testament of like overcoming adversity and all that kind of stuff.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: And not, not getting down, not getting boo-boo face.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, Ray Victoria, it's Dan from Valley Village.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to call and tell you, I could not watch the game live, because I was running my cool, didn't kid this friend's birthday party.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_04]: It was wild, but I was following it.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_04]: And I wound up staying up until one o'clock in the morning to watch the whole game.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_04]: And I got to tell you, Michael, you're 100% right.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I said it.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_04]: Michael, you're 100% right.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_04]: The second half team was incredible.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_04]: It was amazing to watch, very little penalties.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_04]: And as they just look like a real like put together dreams and what's more important.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_04]: And I think the most salient point is that they were just fun.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's what was missing.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_04]: They were just fun to watch.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_04]: And it was so incredibly satisfying.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that that is what we've been missing.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_04]: real satisfying way.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, fight on, love you.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_04]: Let's get this break and let's up.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for the call, Dan, as always.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think it's one of those things where if you went back in time and you had a VHS of that second half and you gave it to somebody before the season, first they'd have to go find a BCR to play that VHS.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: But then assuming that
- 55:30[SPEAKER_02]: And you said, okay, watch this second half of this game at Penn State and now tell me what you think of this team.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think you say that's a playoff to you.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: Again, it is without a bunch of contacts and the bunch of contacts is everything out like the context.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_03]: I agree on that is half the things like that.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but if what is a USC playoff team looks like the second half of the Penn State game.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: If you if you play like that, you can make the play off and look like you belong.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: How do you just continue to do that?
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's the question.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to Alicia and South Bend.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: Let's start Alicia and Notre Dame.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, this is Alicia and Los Angeles.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just calling to ask, is this a rave line?
- 56:12[SPEAKER_00]: Did you see really just go into Happy Valley and be Penn State in a wide out?
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: Did that really happen?
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: Or did I just imagine it?
- 56:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I think it actually happened, and I've got to say I'm pretty surprised about this one.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think USC has given us ample evidence over the last few years that they are not to be trusted on the road, and I thought this would be another one of those games.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: But they really responded.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: They were poised against a very tough,
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: environment and I think that's one of the most impressive things that we've seen out of USC and in a couple of years actually.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_00]: Trent mostly being back makes such a huge difference.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's been a kind being back to his old self made such a good difference.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Jade Mayava probably having his best road performance for USC certainly makes a huge difference as well.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: those things are another sign that if USC's offense is rolling and not making mistakes for shooting the cells in the foot, it's very hard to be USC when you have an offense that's like that.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: Even when your defense still clearly has vulnerabilities like USC does, it just makes such a difference when the offense goes out there and just execute and make the plays and get it done.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm overreacting, I'm throwing up the overreact to this game.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_00]: Penn State is clearly not a good team.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think their focus for the rest of the season is going to be more in full availability than anything else.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a game that USC should have won and should have won the way that they did.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think what makes it surprising is just that USC so often doesn't win the way they ought to and doesn't win games that they ought to.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: So if this is a sign of things to come, then suddenly Wisconsin looks like more of a routine kind of game for U.S.D.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_00]: and suddenly, you know, you see what happens with Ohio State and you roll and see if you can make it into playoff.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just nice to see U.S.C.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_00]: being back on track and not looking totally out of sorts.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_00]: I will continue to say that losing to Oregon still looks awful and looks even worse
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: after what you feel hated did to them, but at a certain point, you just have to beat the team that's in front of you, and USC did that this weekend in an environment that I obviously didn't pick them to do it.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's a rave line.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_02]: It is a rave line.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you to Alicia there.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_03]: Great call.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was a great call.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I thought voice for radio for sure We love that we we love to hear from people eight when eight six four three seven two two seven is of course the rant line number Let's get to Trojan fight I'm really disappointed you guys have been telling me all year to the networks and all this
- 59:25[SPEAKER_08]: why we can't get no night game.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_08]: What's Oregon getting versus Nebraska?
- 59:30[SPEAKER_08]: Eight o'clock night game.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_08]: Make it all make sense.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_08]: And while I'm here, why is it that the, why is this not a problem in basketball?
- 59:40[SPEAKER_08]: These teams travel for basketball.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_08]: We make them the same tip times for a clock in California.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_08]: Why is that?
- 59:48[SPEAKER_08]: I think the one thing that's gonna shut me up make though I have a state
- 59:56[SPEAKER_08]: not for 30, but not eight o'clock.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_08]: That's the thing that's fair to me.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_08]: We haven't gotten any conference night games this whole year.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_08]: When they're saving it from Maryland, that'd be one.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_08]: This situation is keeps getting worse and worse.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_08]: Only conference night games we got since we've been in the Big Tames Northwestern, Rutgers, and Michigan State, I believe.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_08]: I have to believe this is intentional by the Big Tames and that works.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sorry, that's just how it is.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_08]: I don't.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks to the culture, in fact, it is intentional by the networks because it's how the hierarchy of the slotska.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_02]: There's only so many times slots and looking at this upcoming weekend.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Oregon get tonight game against Nebraska, Wisconsin UCLA is the fourth 30.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think those could have gone either way, those two slots were always going to go to those two teams because Ohio State Indiana was always going to be the 9 a.m. Fox game and Penn State Michigan was always going to be the CBS game because that's the flagship game for the big 10 in a lot of ways and you put the
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_02]: the two iconic teams placed, playing against each other there, like everything sort of makes sense there, but there's only so many slots.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like the Ohio State game, I hate to tell you, it's gonna be 12 30 on CBS.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_02]: I would like, it will.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like I will go all out, then it's gonna be 12 30, I guess.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_03]: I was sure Wisconsin was gonna be big noon.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's fast or I think it I'm I'm going to pull up that that week's schedule because Yeah, the big noon that the big noon is Oh, the ESPN thing stole the ESPN scoreboard doesn't have the times in the look in the wrong one, but it is an Indiana Michigan checking also it is Indiana Michigan.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, good question.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_03]: I understand that too.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think they're going better for USC, but yeah, I mean, it's called as fascinating to me because it's usually the reverse argument is everyone is complaining about why we have so many night games, which I feel of two worlds here, because normally I defend having night games because like what we should every other school gets to have night games, like we should get to have some night games too, but
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_03]: You want most of your games at 430?
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's the premium spot.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the 430 slot is the best slot for USC because you get your West Coast and then you also get your national viewers that care to watch USC.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, East Coast viewer is gonna watch an APM West Coast kickoff.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: because that's going to drag into 2 a n their time.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it just does not, that is not something that I don't know what they have in force to.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: They've been forced to.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_01]: The jail Mary was at like 2 a.m. Boston time when I lived there and that sucked.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't want to, I don't want that to happen ever again.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so yeah, I think, and I also think they're going to defer to, I do think they'll defer regionally to the teams that are East Coast or central for the, for the, the big noon kicked off kickoff that are, you know, used to playing at, at noon and or body clock oriented in that way.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's probably going to benefit them too.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is fantastic.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_03]: as Dan just mentioned too, it'll basically be night at 430 games soon.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I think the sunset for the Ohio State Game is something like 615.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_02]: Something like that.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so yeah, the second half will be in darkness or just shots of the call of Sam.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and Maryland could both be night games.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_02]: They could be my guess is Maryland is absolutely an APM game.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_02]: And I my guess is that that UCLA SC is the 1230 CBS.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_03]: If I are picking right now.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_02]: Especially because I was thinking it will be the 9 o'clock on Fox, and then that's the it's an iconic matchup and it looks like one that could have two ringtimes.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I think that it checks both boxes.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's big markets, all three boxes, if you will.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_02]: To go back to the basketball comment, it's different in basketball because the games are in the
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to have a four o'clock game on a Wednesday because it's all about inventory and the TV inventory.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_02]: And so if you, your TV inventory is what four o'clock, is it like four o'clock six o'clock in any clock or something like that?
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I don't, to be honest, I don't know what it is for victim basketball.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_02]: Talking about out of my ass about the very specifics there, but
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_02]: you give S.C. UCLA, Oregon and Washington the late games on in basketball because you can because you can't because it works out with the time zones and so that's why because there's just there's more inventory of night games for basketball unlike with football because there's right now there's only one slot for a night game in the big ten.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_03]: As for, what do you guys think about?
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_03]: Well, as for big noon or game day, there was a question from Lamont in the chat.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_03]: Will big noon or game day, or both, be at USC Ohio State?
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: If USC, if USC beats Wisconsin, possibly I need to look at the schedule for that day.
- 1:05:48[SPEAKER_02]: I was, I was having a conversation to, to my roommate on about that game.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_02]: and she made the point that she thought it would be game day because if you look at October 31st SEO Highstate as it stands now number four versus number obviously things can change number four versus number 19 there's Mississippi State Texas that's the one I was in call out and that's sort of
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think they'd go there because they've already been to Texas this year.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't want to get us to cocktail party.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the cocktail party is the other one that I was talking about.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_02]: And jiggle bag the last two weeks.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_01]: Right, exactly.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_02]: So like, I think that there's a very good chance that game day is there.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think it'll be big noon because I don't think that that game will be the 9 a.m. Big noon game.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_03]: Can you imagine?
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_03]: You don't do all the bad things of course.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_02]: I would hate that so much.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think a lot of people would hate it.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_02]: I would lose my mind.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if they'd ever do it, but imagine.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: Two other options would be, well, I guess, I mean, depending on what happens with Arizona, and
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: And if they keep winning, that could be one and same with Texas Tech, if you talk, keep swimming in Cincinnati, keeps winning.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: That would, you know, be a fun throw for brands compared to your brand.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_01]: But also, like, do they want to be in LA at 6 a.m.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think Mike Lennel, you see you talked about it on the previous episode.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of depends on when folks are going to show up also, not just.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think for that game South Dakota South Dakota states that day.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so like I think there are like FCS games, but like if they go to an FCS game and not Ohio State, FC Then I don't think game days ever coming back ever again.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because it's like this is the best argument to have game day Unless almost we lose Wisconsin then we definitely will not if you yeah, if you lose some Wisconsin I think that that could change
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yeah, absolutely, but I think you're right, Michael, if they're not there for that game and it's and they're never coming seven and one USE versus at worst seven and one, no house state.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then they're never I guess they could be six and two.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_02]: Um, all right.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_02]: I want to get through a discord message from Dan, um, because Kenny I know you got to run.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to get to this before, uh, before we lose you here.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_02]: But, and in the discord said, consider the hypothetical.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_02]: You are elected governor of California.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_02]: UCLA makes the college full playoff championship game.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_02]: Do you go to the game and do you root for the Bruins?
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny?
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_03]: I would use everything in my power as governor to look into the school to investigate them to find any kind of fraud and use them.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_03]: Use that I could and get them shut down before they be played like a play in that.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_02]: Crooked Kenny over here.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have a family engagement at that day.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_02]: I, you want my honest answer?
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'll say answers.
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm at the game and I'm there to shake hands, but like I'm very honest that you know, I'm an SC grad.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_02]: I will the best, but I will not be rooting for them.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_02]: I might be sitting out who I root for in this game or like one of those things.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_02]: I do the politics answer, but I think that is a better politics answer than the, oh, yes, I'm going to have a huge, yeah, like that is people can see through that a million and people hate this.
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_03]: The, the, the, the, the, well, name names, but the senators who have worn every single university.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_02]: 100%.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think the only person that can that can come out here and like justify that kind of thing where like you're not picking sides is the Pope.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_02]: But we know the Pope is a White Talks fan, unfortunately.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_03]: So I think he's got some help from.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_02]: Well, final word Kenny before we before we lose here.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_02]: uh fight on enjoy the by week everyone and of go go coogers i guess to help for us on what perfect weekend maybe the one shot at Notre Dame losing yeah be what be why you know be why you at Notre Dame yeah and uh Wisconsin and you see like at the roseball which seriously like that is a much must watch football yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah let's let's have a
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be in LA.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to concentrate that night, but we see it.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, the girlfriend and I are going to Charlie Xiacs of the forum.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, nice.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be a nice.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_02]: Mary, Braddie, did I do that right?
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, I think so.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_03]: She's the Brad one.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_03]: She's the Brad one.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_03]: She's the Brad one.
- 1:10:54[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny, thank you for joining us.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see you next time.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'll see you next time.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_02]: Let's, let's continue and, um,
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_02]: tomorrow we'll get a little closer on the screen.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to a, of course, but we got from Zach and Redlands.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_09]: This is Zach from Redlands, Colin right after the, uh, win at the White Out game.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_09]: Excited.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_09]: We actually want a game on the road.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_09]: Um, a little more optimistic to sleep the last week.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_09]: Um, but, uh, bite on.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_02]: Any reasons to be optimistic.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do the song reasons to be cheerful?
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 1:11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Should I?
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_01]: Should I be embarrassed?
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good song.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_02]: I can't think of who sings it.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_02]: But like, yeah, yeah, go listen.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_02]: That song.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's that was the SC game against Penn State.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_02]: Fair enough.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_01]: He sends to be cheerful.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we got some, we got some comments here in the YouTube chat that we haven't got to yet.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_02]: I want to get to those, uh, Lamont said this question.
- 1:12:07[SPEAKER_02]: I've been waiting for this all day.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_02]: The, where's the uproar for Dan Lending and Barrel Exander after the punch the Nico's head?
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_02]: Practice what you preach.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_02]: Dan suspended him.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Dan to spend him.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_02]: Um, some on, do you have thoughts in this?
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_02]: Because I have to be completely honest.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_02]: I did not want that game.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_02]: And I have not seen the hit and so I cannot in like good faith comment on the situation.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_02]: But do you have thoughts?
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_01]: I Lamont's not going to like my answer here.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't watch the game, but I watched the highlight.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: It looked like mix in and was punching at the ball and then bear was also punching at the ball.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Should Bear have punched at the ball while Nico was basically on the ground already, probably not, but I don't, it didn't look like he was punching at Nico's head and or neck area, which is probably why it wasn't called in the game and probably why landing kind of, you know, poo pooed any sort of up or around it.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that's, that's my take.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is it, was it, but the best choice baracles that Alexander's ever made?
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Probably not, but was it as, as a, as a grudious as, you know, Desmond Steven's dancing while Dante more laid motionless?
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think so either.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I, I, the, the, the Desmond Steven's thing, like,
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_02]: The hit was dirty in a football sense, like it was dirty in a football sense, what makes it
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_02]: gives everybody the eck is him celebrating with with Dante more motionless on the field.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_02]: If if if there's been Stevens hits Dante more and is holding his own head like, oh, I can't believe I did like it's one of those things really like damn that was a dumb decision, but like learn from it move on.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to say no harm, no fuck, because obviously Dante Moore was hurt, but like you know what I mean like it people will move on from that sort of thing.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_02]: They're not talking about it on PTI and and everywhere.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's the celebration thing and the celebration thing on top of everything else just like magnifies all the other stuff.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_02]: So like, yeah, if they're celebrated it and like did the, you know,
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_02]: heard some for the out the rest of the season he's gone and then does the the Ray Lewis dance then yeah they're all the book at it but um yeah I haven't heard that that was the kiss all right another question from the want do you see any of our white receivers hitting the portal because of the lack of targets and playing time it doesn't have I hope it doesn't happen but I can see
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think so.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say mostly or KDW or, but like, I wouldn't be shocked if anybody be on that transferred.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Guys transfer after a freshman season's all the time now.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_02]: I obviously I think you want to keep Trombaker and you want to keep Booby Feaster, absolutely 1,000%, but like what I'd be shocked if they made the decision to CKDW and Trent Mosley and you know, look for more looks elsewhere?
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_02]: No, I wouldn't be shocked because that's the era of call a trip over in.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_02]: Someone like Luke Weaver, yeah, I think it makes a lot of sense to look the other way and look for something else.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he should do that.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying that he should, I'm not saying that Lincoln Riley should process him and like none of that sort of stuff, but like in the Arab culture that we live in now, you have to expect that you're not going to keep all the dudes when you go out and sign a million receivers the way they do.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_02]: The hope is that you have one superstar, one really good guy, one good guy, and anything out of that is a bonus, and S.C. went out and got two superstars and two good guys in Baker and Vester, so like they're already ahead of the curve.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_02]: on that sort of thing.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_02]: Randy from Resolines, say more question with mostly in Hines and KDW do you think where do you think the receiver core ranks in college football right now?
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_02]: This is tough because I don't know that I can truly say that I've watched enough of other teams receiving course.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the Ohio State one is interesting because I think S.C.'s argument is the depth of the receiving core.
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_02]: Jeremiah Smith is the best player in college for ball bar none.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that there's anyone disputing that.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, he should win the Blitnik off.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_02]: He should win the Heisman.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_02]: He should make one of all pick.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like all those things.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_02]: But as far as the receiving court goes, I think S.E.C.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_02]: could have an argument there.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_01]: The only article I could find was from February of 2026 by Brad Carf Crawford at CBS Sports.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_01]: USC, he does not even have USC in the top 10, which, and this is the top 10 is starting at 10
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Indiana, Miami, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State, and Texas.
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you can, I think you can comfortably bump a few of those teams out in favor of USC's where I receive a record this one or the season.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's number one, but I think Cam Crawford's great at Texas also.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_01]: As you mentioned, this fantastic at Ohio State,
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Malachi, Tony, of course at Miami, but I think I think at this point you can say it's a top 10 group in the country.
- 1:18:37[SPEAKER_02]: So while you're saying that I just went and I grabbed the top 100 receivers in the country and you'll love this.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing a Google Shates filter by team.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_02]: How many schools have multiple?
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Arizona State has two.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_02]: Two guys read Harris and a Marion Miller.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_02]: A Marion Miller, the guy that torched S.C. in that SC Colorado game back in 2023.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_02]: FAU has two dudes, Illinois, Houston, Indiana.
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_02]: Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, North Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_02]: The only has one, Oklahoma State has two, Oregon has two, TCU has two, Texas State has two, Virginia Tech has two, is does that see not have a single one on here, am I crazy?
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_01]: What is this sort of thing I think most of the game mostly missing two games probably does.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_02]: But I guess the key there is there isn't a single team that has three dudes on that list when you sort by yards per game.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_02]: So like I think that that is worth considering like S C's receiver core is
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_02]: at minimum three deep on the borderline elite and like we have three guys who could be like you would put in the discussion for some of the best receivers in the conference right and not a lot of teams have have that so like yeah I think that's where that's where SC separates is the depth I think that that makes up for not having Jeremiah Smith who's the greatest of all time
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, that's gonna wrap things up, we'll be back later this week, don't know exactly the day.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_02]: We have a special guest lined up, a guy you've heard of, a guy you've probably watched, a guy you've probably heard.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to give too much, but you know the guy, you know the guy.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's not someone who's not kidding, it's somebody you know.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Very, very good guy.
- 1:21:07[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone will be very pleased with the, with the guests that you've lined up.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_01]: And generally, all of, you know, I can peek into the future here with what Michael and Alicia have done in terms of finding Alicia's suit, you know, in interim, if you will.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_01]: They've done a real good job of putting together some entertaining folks much better than myself for y'all.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_01]: So y'all should be excited as a fan base of these two special people.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_02]: absolutely so uh look forward to that we'll we'll be back later in the week uh just keep an eye out on and with we end up posting a stream um it probably like Thursday or something but I don't know for sure uh so keep an eye out on that it is a by week um next week we're going to hope to I'm going to try to get our friend Jake from the web branch show on next week early next week
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_02]: He is out gallevantine with the Glitteroddy, if you will, over in Europe right now.
- 1:22:19[SPEAKER_02]: on a European river cruise and it's rather BS because he keeps posting great things to Instagram and it's really making me jealous.
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_02]: But I think he'll be back state side by next week.
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm curious his thoughts on where SC and UCLA stand a week from now and then next week to preview SC and Wisconsin.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_02]: We have another special guest, someone who used to be on this podcast years and years and years and years ago.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Who now covers two other teams in the area.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_02]: So look out for that.
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have that's and yeah, a lot of stuff coming up later this month that we're excited about it's a different show without our home run hitter over here.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_02]: We miss her dearly, but we're making the most of it.
- 1:23:13[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll be back later in the week until then, some money got any final thoughts.
- 1:23:19[SPEAKER_01]: And rather by a week like Kenny said, let's hope the defense gets a little bit better.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_01]: I had a Wisconsin, another tougher test, and I don't.
- 1:23:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_02]: And you will be back along with Kenny in a couple weeks to do the Wisconsin fallout.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's graciously that I have not been voted off or been murdered by the traders.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_02]: Are you watching the traitors?
- 1:23:44[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_01]: Commander Fatherland.
- 1:23:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_02]: As soon as they end the stream, we have to talk about it.
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_02]: All right, guys.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see ya.
- 1:23:54[SPEAKER_07]: See ya.
- 1:23:56[SPEAKER_02]: See ya.
