- 1:15Speaker 5: seen the dire Wolf one.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I wore that today. Actually, I head one at the
- 1:18Speaker 3: gym and you changed it before. Well, I don't wear
- 1:21Speaker 3: something to the gym and then were it to work.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But it's going to come back kezy, I hope. So
- 1:24Speaker 3: are you going to love it? Man?

- 1:29Speaker 3: You know, I know how much it means to you,
- 1:30Speaker 3: and I will bring it back.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Yeah, and Jase, seriously, this is nothing that you should
- 1:34Speaker 5: be offended by. Seriously, Okay, when you walked in today
- 1:40Speaker 5: wearing that jumper you were wearing, Yeah, my granddad wore
- 1:43Speaker 5: a jumper like that every single day.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I tell you what.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Actually, it's very much a jumper that farmers wear. And
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'll tell you why I wore that in particular jumper today.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I've run out I didn't get to do any washing
- 1:57Speaker 2: over the weekend, and I've run out of sweatshirts. Oh
- 2:00Speaker 2: my hoodies are diddy.
- 2:02Speaker 5: So it's a really woolen sort of pole a fleecy thing.
- 2:04Speaker 3: And that's the thing.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I was cold today, so I thought, you know, I've
- 2:08Speaker 2: been given chip about that jumper before, but I don't care, mate,
- 2:13Speaker 2: I like it. You know it's all good.
- 2:15Speaker 3: This is good chat. If this is just the start
- 2:17Speaker 3: of the show, how good is it going to get?
- 2:18Speaker 3: I tell you what, It's going to be a messive show.
- 2:20Speaker 3: There is a lot going on.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I watch sport to cover what is going on with
- 2:24Speaker 2: the bloody worry is good.
- 2:26Speaker 3: God, we've got.
- 2:27Speaker 2: The big pole coming up and also your chance to
- 2:29Speaker 2: get him the draw for Would you Rather?
- 2:31Speaker 5: It is the final week of Would you Rather? As well,
- 2:33Speaker 5: So if you want to go to the NRL Grand
- 2:35Speaker 5: Final or Bathist, I suggest you keep your ears peeled
- 2:37Speaker 5: and get ready to call the one hundred Hodaki.
- 2:38Speaker 3: In the meantime, He's blank one Night two The.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Holaky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Indeed Guns Roses there on the radio Holed Hanky Big
- 2:51Speaker 2: Show this Monday afternoon. The time it's twelve minutes past
- 2:53Speaker 2: four o'clock, which means it's time for this.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Pole. Ah beautiful. You know I was watching the old
- 3:09Speaker 3: Olympics over the weekend, man, Yes, and you do sort
- 3:14Speaker 3: of think to yourself that they've filled it up quite
- 3:16Speaker 3: a bit. There's quite a lot of events in there. Sure,
- 3:20Speaker 3: And I think it's okay if you've got a product
- 3:21Speaker 3: like that, but you should always be looking to make improvements,
- 3:25Speaker 3: do you know what I mean? Absolutely? Hey, better never stops.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Man better never stops. I like that, Keysy And I
- 3:31Speaker 3: was just wondering maybe we could improve it by getting
- 3:34Speaker 3: rid of some of the garbage sports, right, and I
- 3:37Speaker 3: think we've got There are a few in there that
- 3:40Speaker 3: I'm just going to question. Now you might be able.
- 3:42Speaker 3: There might be people out there that can change my
- 3:43Speaker 3: mind and say that, no, that's not a garbage but
- 3:46Speaker 3: it's a great sport. But we're going to start doing
- 3:50Speaker 3: this probably every day until the end of the year,
- 3:53Speaker 3: at least the end of the Olympics.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, which is pretty much the end of the year.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Anyway, We'll see it goes. Are you a favor of
- 4:00Speaker 3: the Olympics? Are antio? I love it? I love the Yeah.
- 4:04Speaker 3: But the first one that I'd like to nominate for
- 4:06Speaker 3: the chopping block for the gallows. Actually the French like
- 4:09Speaker 3: a gallow, don't they yes? Orry, yes, a gey tween
- 4:14Speaker 3: dam drop the head off it? Walking competitive walking? Yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 3: do we need it or not?
- 4:21Speaker 2: Should this w be taken out of the Olympics. Walking
- 4:24Speaker 2: is a question yes.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Or no, yale or nae.
- 4:27Speaker 5: So what's your vibe on it for actually hearing that?
- 4:30Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm a big fan, right, I think it is a
- 4:36Speaker 2: sport that requires massive fitness, it requires massive discipline, it
- 4:42Speaker 2: requires massive concentration.
- 4:45Speaker 3: And you know, when you think about when.
- 4:47Speaker 2: These guys are walking and women are walking as face
- 4:49Speaker 2: as that, the urge to just run must be so overwhelming.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So it's an indictment on their commitment that they still
- 4:56Speaker 2: stick at it.
- 4:57Speaker 3: That's right.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Kilometer after kilometer after kilometer. And then you look at
- 5:02Speaker 2: the fact that a lot of the walkers actually were
- 5:05Speaker 2: did athletics in other ways but because of injury, actually
- 5:09Speaker 2: couldn't do those sports anymore. So they went to walking
- 5:13Speaker 2: because they went that's competitive, it's an Olympic sport. I
- 5:16Speaker 2: still want to be a part of it. I'm still
- 5:18Speaker 2: determined to succeed and that's what.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I'm going to do it. That's right. So walking is a
- 5:22Speaker 3: good place for the injured and infirmed to continue to compete,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and that's what the Olympics is all about. What do
- 5:26Speaker 3: you reckon kill all of them? Some of them is
- 5:29Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Well, look, race walking it does take a great amount
- 5:33Speaker 5: of fitness, and I picture it as you know, when
- 5:35Speaker 5: the horses are doing the trotting and they're allowed to gallop.
- 5:38Speaker 5: That's effectively what racewalking is. You have to trot all
- 5:40Speaker 5: the way and some of them massive distances. To fifty
- 5:43Speaker 5: kilometers is the longest one. But the wording and the
- 5:47Speaker 5: way the rule. People have an issue with the sport
- 5:49Speaker 5: because they go I can see their feet of leaving
- 5:51Speaker 5: the ground right, yes, And the rule with racewalking is
- 5:54Speaker 5: your feet must appear to have constant compact contact with
- 5:59Speaker 5: the ground at least one foot at.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Least one foot.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Yeah, but that excludes like slow motion cameras and stuff.
- 6:06Speaker 5: So if someone looking at you, can you know, watch
- 6:09Speaker 5: you and think, yeah, yeah, your feed are constantly on
- 6:11Speaker 5: the ground, that's fine. If it's filmed and slowed in
- 6:13Speaker 5: any way, that is not a discussion, that's right.
- 6:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Can I just add in favor of it's sexy.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, mean way they swing their hips like that,
- 6:25Speaker 3: don't mean to be coarse. But no one gets more
- 6:28Speaker 3: ass than than a walker at the Olympics. You know,
- 6:31Speaker 3: once the other athletes find out you're one of those athletes. Absolutely,
- 6:35Speaker 3: But I guess for me, it's faster, stronger, higher, which
- 6:38Speaker 3: is the motto of the Olympics. And for me it's
- 6:40Speaker 3: not faster because if you want to be faster, you
- 6:42Speaker 3: just break it into a run. To me, it looks stupid.
- 6:47Speaker 3: They're embarrassing themselves, right, And I just yeah, I can't
- 6:53Speaker 3: rip my head around it, man, I can't rip my
- 6:55Speaker 3: head around. It's either running or nothing. Right, So you're
- 6:59Speaker 3: is pro.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I think back, it's provided us with some great moments
- 7:03Speaker 2: in sporting history.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Scott Barrett of course, yeah, dog roll, dog roll.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, collapsing dramatically after having a five kilometer lead that time.
- 7:15Speaker 4: That's right.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Well, he was at the Commonwealth Games I think ninety
- 7:17Speaker 3: eight and he was the world champion at the time.
- 7:20Speaker 3: He had some tremendous success, but ultimately he over did it.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And a big man as well. To be compeling that
- 7:26Speaker 3: normally much a much smaller competitive and there was Scott
- 7:29Speaker 3: bar that was dog roll Barrett.
- 7:31Speaker 2: So courageous man, so courageous believer, everything he had to give.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And he's never looked better than when he was doing that.
- 7:37Speaker 3: To be fedal totally.
- 7:38Speaker 5: What do you think, New Zealand. You can vote on
- 7:40Speaker 5: the Hoducky Big Show Instagram story. You can text us
- 7:42Speaker 5: on three four eight three call us an eight hundred.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Hoducky should race Walking be dropped?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Here's Jimmy the Darky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 7:51Speaker 2: And Kisey Queens of the Stone Age. There on the
- 7:54Speaker 2: radio Hodaky Big Show. There's Monday Afternoon and here we
- 7:57Speaker 2: are again. Worry is a lordy, Lordy, Lordie, we.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Got our great mate. It's Warrior Charlie Gub on the.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Line and Charlie, I don't know, man, I mean, come on, dude,
- 8:11Speaker 2: I mean far out man, what the hell is going on?
- 8:15Speaker 3: Charlie?
- 8:17Speaker 7: The words right out of my mouth.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Brother. It's a it's a tough pool of swallow.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
- 8:23Speaker 2: The fellows were protecting thirty point wins. Fifty point wins.
- 8:28Speaker 3: There was all on. I see. I seduced that it
- 8:31Speaker 3: was a banana skin because you just have a bad
- 8:33Speaker 3: feeling whenever the whenever you got these games come along
- 8:36Speaker 3: where you're planning at someone someone that you absolutely should be,
- 8:40Speaker 3: then that's always the time I have the feeling that
- 8:41Speaker 3: we're going to lose. Charlie, Yeah, same.
- 8:44Speaker 4: I was like, we really we should have pumped them, but.
- 8:49Speaker 7: You know, Para like them, Aaron, all sorts of themselves
- 8:52Speaker 7: and it's a tough trip to Auckland in front of
- 8:54Speaker 7: a full house and then we come and toss that
- 8:58Speaker 7: shut up. But it's I don't know, it's hard to
- 9:01Speaker 7: put your finger on where it went wrong. I don't
- 9:05Speaker 7: think it was effort, you know, like they just weren't together,
- 9:10Speaker 7: Like they weren't all rolling at the same but they
- 9:12Speaker 7: weren't at their Olympics. They're all going different directions.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, they're rolling out of them, Charlie.
- 9:19Speaker 5: One thing with the Wise, and it's been quite a
- 9:21Speaker 5: common thing this season is early doors they will be
- 9:24Speaker 5: putting pressure on getting repeat sets, you know, deep enemy territory,
- 9:28Speaker 5: getting six agains, and then they can't quite you know,
- 9:32Speaker 5: finish that by scoring points. And then instantly I think
- 9:35Speaker 5: it was Jack Tungall for the Eels. They did an
- 9:37Speaker 5: awesome backline move, scored in the corner, and then that
- 9:40Speaker 5: was our momentum completely gone for the entire game. Our
- 9:45Speaker 5: attack when we're down to their end, I feel like
- 9:48Speaker 5: our kicking options aren't great and it hasn't help that
- 9:50Speaker 5: we've had different halves and stuff like that, man, But
- 9:53Speaker 5: it just seems like we can't score points at the moment.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right.
- 9:56Speaker 7: We were on their line for so much and that
- 10:00Speaker 7: first twenty and it was almost like everyone was in
- 10:04Speaker 7: the story of the season. Everyone was just off by
- 10:06Speaker 7: a step so their de could just kind of shuffle
- 10:09Speaker 7: out and had everyone covered.
- 10:11Speaker 4: And then often we were we played.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Short a lot, lusty, hit short a lot, short, hit
- 10:16Speaker 7: short a lot, but it looked like it was on
- 10:18Speaker 7: at the back, and then we just weren't so resilient
- 10:22Speaker 7: on defense. They came down there and scored, and then
- 10:25Speaker 7: the story of it was just when we did the
- 10:27Speaker 7: goal line drop out, Yeah, and maybe glutts and caught
- 10:30Speaker 7: it and just ran across the field.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And that was had a runner straight up the gaps.
- 10:35Speaker 7: Straight up the guts, And that's like half breaking, you know,
- 10:37Speaker 7: because we've been working so hard to get the tries
- 10:40Speaker 7: on their line and they've been turning up dan and
- 10:43Speaker 7: then we just have one repeats there and they just go.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Straight through that.
- 10:46Speaker 3: It seemed like we were there, and then as soon
- 10:48Speaker 3: as things started not going our way. To me, it
- 10:51Speaker 3: looked like there's a bit of quit there. The Eels
- 10:53Speaker 3: were rolling straight up the middle of us if you
- 10:56Speaker 3: didn't really see them for the second half of the game.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I think there's a Hecker comms and the haves ares
- 11:01Speaker 3: one in the second half there where they look like
- 11:03Speaker 3: they've never met each other before. They looked drunk, they
- 11:05Speaker 3: crashed into each other. Johnson obviously hasn't been there for
- 11:09Speaker 3: a long time since Round Sex with he's played seven times.
- 11:13Speaker 3: We've lost all seven of those games. Obviously there's a
- 11:16Speaker 3: confidence issue there. The kicks that he messed for points,
- 11:20Speaker 3: we're just absolutely I mean, if you if you need
- 11:23Speaker 3: a sign that the guy has got no confidence, you
- 11:25Speaker 3: have a look at those kicks.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I agree with you.
- 11:29Speaker 7: I'm obviously a Sean but it's just it's just not
- 11:32Speaker 7: really working. And yeah, like I'm still obviously still worries,
- 11:39Speaker 7: but we're just fand so what I reckon maybe where
- 11:44Speaker 7: he's loyalty is kind of to Sean has kind of
- 11:47Speaker 7: hurting the rest of the third end, you know, because
- 11:49Speaker 7: they had their moto going with Tomorrow Marda and I
- 11:53Speaker 7: thought he would drop for three injury, but he ended
- 11:55Speaker 7: up running out for the Cup.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Team.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Yeah, Yeah, it's a tough one that we're on different pages.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Like you said, I think they popped a bit of.
- 12:03Speaker 7: An injury which they didn't talk about, wasn't there, But
- 12:08Speaker 7: they were definitely on different pages, and yeah it was.
- 12:12Speaker 7: They didn't They didn't have an answer when when paramedta
- 12:15Speaker 7: started rolling from But then you see the game's gone
- 12:19Speaker 7: and they start throwing caution to the winds exactly good
- 12:23Speaker 7: cross field cats, and everyone's going, oh.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Well was this and this is the thing man, when
- 12:26Speaker 3: we're did and buried this year, when we are no
- 12:28Speaker 3: longer a mathematical chance, you just watch how good we play.
- 12:32Speaker 7: Yeah, that's right. And it's almost like when they don't
- 12:35Speaker 7: have the pressure on them.
- 12:37Speaker 4: It's they're just cutting teams up.
- 12:39Speaker 7: But when it actually matters, it runs a stent to Custard.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Yeah, and Mike Custard is not what you want when
- 12:46Speaker 5: you're playing in our our footy mate. Hey, Charlie, Mathematically,
- 12:50Speaker 5: if we went four out of four games, we will
- 12:52Speaker 5: come away with thirty points on the table, which might
- 12:55Speaker 5: be enough to get us into the final spot on
- 12:57Speaker 5: the table. How confident you feel about that?
- 13:03Speaker 7: It's hard to win for in a row like confident
- 13:06Speaker 7: win the next one and you know he's in.
- 13:08Speaker 4: To stay that game by game oneon we only got
- 13:11Speaker 4: to one three, so let's just let's just won the first.
- 13:14Speaker 3: One, That's right. I don't I just don't think. I'm
- 13:16Speaker 3: sorry mate.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I was gonna say it's the Sunday against the Dolphins
- 13:19Speaker 5: at four o'clock.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Oh beautiful. I love a Sunday at four. I will
- 13:22Speaker 3: say that I think the NRL stitched us up because
- 13:24Speaker 3: every other team in the competition gets to play the
- 13:26Speaker 3: Warriors whereas we don't. And I feel like we should
- 13:28Speaker 3: get automatic two points for that, totally. Man.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Charlie, who was your player of the match?
- 13:34Speaker 7: Mate, Ah, He's had it a couple of times, but
- 13:38Speaker 7: I'm giving it a chance.
- 13:40Speaker 4: He was. He was everywhere and he was.
- 13:44Speaker 3: He really did.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Chance to o'clock start who was having two runs per set.
- 13:48Speaker 5: He wasn't given up. He was all around the place
- 13:51Speaker 5: the adjacentever that means. And he is your Porter King
- 13:53Speaker 5: Player of the week. If you're in Wellington you need
- 13:55Speaker 5: a portoloo, make sure you head up uncle Charlie and
- 13:58Speaker 5: he'll see you're right, Thanks, Charlie.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Yeah, hopefully hopefully it's film.
- 14:05Speaker 8: Yeah, same man over it to be honest, Big Show
- 14:11Speaker 8: podcast Radio hole, I would you.
- 14:20Speaker 2: You're just on the n r L Greend Final. Just
- 14:22Speaker 2: give it to Penrith now, shouldn't we? Melbourne is at
- 14:26Speaker 2: the top of the table, Melbourne, well just give it again.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yeah I did. Just give it to pen without it. Yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 3: you guys are just too good. Don't worry. They lose
- 14:38Speaker 3: so much money though from the television rights, because I
- 14:40Speaker 3: think they've got a contract with all the television companies
- 14:43Speaker 3: actually have to play those games.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Yeah, and a certain amount of them have to be
- 14:46Speaker 5: in New Zealand for example, have to be in Australia.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's quite a complicated contract. What would you do
- 14:53Speaker 3: about that? I just can it? I mean, I mean,
- 14:55Speaker 3: but they've got the contract. I know.
- 14:57Speaker 2: There's a lot of admin going on, just in the
- 14:59Speaker 2: lawyers and just no worry about it. A good cam,
- 15:02Speaker 2: your madvicet, how's life?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Very good boys, very good thinking.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Good on you mate?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Did you watch the league over the weekend?
- 15:09Speaker 3: There? Ah?
- 15:12Speaker 2: Yes, yes I did, sadly.
- 15:13Speaker 3: At what point did you turn it off?
- 15:15Speaker 2: About half talk? Good on same here actually on half time?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Bang on the money? What do you do for a
- 15:20Speaker 2: cross camp? I'm a chippy, massive, massive backbone. All right,
- 15:26Speaker 2: let's let's put the question to your cam. Would you
- 15:29Speaker 2: rather the NRL Grand Final or Batheist? I said, Frank easy, Well,
- 15:35Speaker 2: let's face it, the Wires aren't going to be in
- 15:37Speaker 2: the finals this year.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I'd love to go to a Grand Fall, but I've
- 15:40Speaker 3: gotta go to beth News.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I'm hearing you, and that's four nights before sure, yeah, yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 2: twenty years ago, Greg Murcy last one.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm definitely definitely Bathros boys.
- 15:57Speaker 2: On your cam all the best. I'll chuck you having
- 15:59Speaker 2: a son and studio BC. How he goes god I Ashley?
- 16:03Speaker 2: How's life.

- 17:13Speaker 3: It's a beautiful little story.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Hey, fellas, would you rather have an incredibly annoying high
- 17:19Speaker 5: pitched voice or a really deep manly voice.
- 17:24Speaker 3: It's a tuffy, isn't it. It's a toughykeasy.
- 17:29Speaker 2: It sure is probably a really high pitched annoying voice
- 17:33Speaker 2: because I like, you know, just getting on people's nerves.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I think a really deep manly voice would
- 17:42Speaker 5: be super annoying though I'd hate that.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Would would you hate that? Would you?
- 17:48Speaker 4: Mate?
- 17:48Speaker 5: Just say that we get on everyone's nerves and it
- 17:50Speaker 5: would be bad for ratings.
- 17:54Speaker 1: The Whodarkey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Welcome back to your MASSI bagbones. Hope you're surviving your

- 18:04Speaker 2: you by Night Still got it just had a red ball.
- 18:17Speaker 2: By the way, Fellers gave me a good little pickup. Actually,
- 18:21Speaker 2: I'm all fired up for the favet or six fat up,
- 18:24Speaker 2: cleasey fired up, bad up.
- 18:29Speaker 3: That is so great. I'm so pleased have read balls.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Yeah, especially when Mergi's also on a mess of high
- 18:35Speaker 5: as well.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but his is a natural high. He's off the darries,
- 18:39Speaker 2: he's back at the gym. He's not off the booze.
- 18:41Speaker 3: He's going hard man ship.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Whereas you had a run today and you just got
- 18:46Speaker 2: grumpy about it.
- 18:48Speaker 5: That's not what happened, Jason. I said, I went for
- 18:50Speaker 5: a run today and now I'm just a bit tired
- 18:52Speaker 5: from poop.
- 18:52Speaker 3: You said you were pooped.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Yeah, it was pooped and it was esthma.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Related, right, okay, the reason, hey, but the fat that
- 19:00Speaker 2: you went for a keezy man?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Can I just say, Jace, you took the words road
- 19:05Speaker 3: out of my mouth than you. It must have been
- 19:07Speaker 3: when he was kissing you. Yeah, I think it might
- 19:09Speaker 3: have been when you're kissing me, Jase.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, the old tongue lashon.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Hey, So big hour ahead on the Big Show, which
- 19:15Speaker 5: is exciting. Another chance for you to go potentially go
- 19:19Speaker 5: to the l Grand Final or badst would you rather
- 19:22Speaker 5: also up?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Next?
- 19:23Speaker 5: Jace goes through these phases of having weird addictions. First
- 19:26Speaker 5: it was cheese balls.
- 19:27Speaker 3: And you've got that now, haven't you caught the bag keys?
- 19:30Speaker 5: You've got the cheese ball bug. That's fine. The next
- 19:32Speaker 5: little addiction he had was Nippy's iced coffee.
- 19:34Speaker 3: You still have that.
- 19:34Speaker 5: The latest one is sticky date puddings that you get
- 19:39Speaker 5: aren't Betty's Sticky date puddings. You get off the shelf
- 19:41Speaker 5: at your supermarket. You heat them up for thirty seconds
- 19:44Speaker 5: and then you eat them. That is his new addiction.
- 19:45Speaker 5: So I bought us some. We're going to try them.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Yeah, with the side dish of cream.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Boys, wow, that it would be the cream will be
- 19:52Speaker 2: with a sponge.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Well yeah, obviously, I'm.
- 19:57Speaker 5: So excited, fellas so ged up for this.
- 20:02Speaker 1: The hole Aki Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 20:07Speaker 1: and Keezy is indeed Sound Garden.
- 20:08Speaker 3: They're on the Radio Hodaki Big Show.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Now.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I think that people out there know by now that
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'm an addict. I'm prone to addiction, and I have
- 20:18Speaker 2: certain things that tick on my fancy. As you'll know.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Cheese balls was a real big addiction for me. I've
- 20:24Speaker 2: actually been really good with the cheese balls. Actually I
- 20:26Speaker 2: haven't done that for a while. Nippies, ice chop iced coffees.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I still have a major problem with Here you go
- 20:34Speaker 2: with Siggi's, I'll actually cut back quite a lot.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Actually, Mogi, how many how many are having a day
- 20:40Speaker 3: forty um and they're having a go at yourself? Ah,
- 20:45Speaker 3: not so much. I'm not. I'm just not into me anymore. Keesy.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Now, my latest addiction comes about because of this. Every night,
- 20:51Speaker 2: when I get home and I have dinner afterwards, I
- 20:54Speaker 2: just crave something sweet.
- 20:57Speaker 3: And my wife a little while back.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Bought these little sponge is called Aren't Betty's Sponge Caramel Sponge,
- 21:05Speaker 2: and I thought, God, that's a bit random sponge caramel
- 21:09Speaker 2: sticky date sponge. I think it's called Yeah, So I said, oh,
- 21:13Speaker 2: one night, I thought I'll try one of those bastards
- 21:16Speaker 2: because we had some cream as well, and the fowlers
- 21:19Speaker 2: gave me so much jip about it, so I thought,
- 21:22Speaker 2: let them try it on air and see what they think.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Are you guys ready? Yeah, I'm really I'm sort of
- 21:31Speaker 3: on on mine a little bit of a diet at
- 21:33Speaker 3: the moment, because I'm back at the gym. Fair enough,
- 21:34Speaker 3: but I'm happy that I'm happy to dig in for
- 21:36Speaker 3: the sake of science. Just spoonful concern here, Jason, as
- 21:41Speaker 3: this is garbage, and I've got a real concern. But
- 21:45Speaker 3: the vibe that I'm getting from you is it's so good.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It's a real quality product. It's a two peck. I
- 21:49Speaker 3: understand that you buy. Yes, he just headed by how
- 21:52Speaker 3: much does a two peck of one of these sticky
- 21:53Speaker 3: date puddings will cost you? Considering they're about the size
- 21:57Speaker 3: of h a fifteen year old's fist.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Yes, okay, to be honest with you, to be honest
- 22:06Speaker 2: with your mogi. My wife bought them, so I don't know,
- 22:11Speaker 2: but I don't think they're expensive. Now Fellers, I don't
- 22:15Speaker 2: want you just to be contrary for the sake of it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I want you to be honest about how you feel
- 22:22Speaker 2: about it. Have another little have another little dabble there, Keysy.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I can just tell you, just for me personally, it's
- 22:29Speaker 3: not my go It's probably one of the sweetest things
- 22:32Speaker 3: on the planet. Sure, there must be a trillion calories
- 22:36Speaker 3: in that, And I've got a strange aftertaste of metal
- 22:40Speaker 3: in my mouth. I don't know what that is for me.
- 22:42Speaker 3: It's to know, Okay, it's not as bad as I
- 22:45Speaker 3: thought it was going to be.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Well, pugs aren't going to have a little taste there too.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Good on your I'm understanding is for a two pick
- 22:50Speaker 3: of those, a's three bucks. That's what you pay for
- 22:52Speaker 3: three bucks?
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 22:53Speaker 3: Yeah, get in there, Peggy.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Can I just say, yeah, you love your sticky stuff
- 22:59Speaker 2: a pegs.
- 23:00Speaker 3: You love yes, sticky staff. Have we got a rapper
- 23:03Speaker 3: for it? Yes?
- 23:04Speaker 5: So I went and bought these, right, so you're pretendingly
- 23:07Speaker 5: you've brought them in for us, but I was actually
- 23:08Speaker 5: the one that got them. Yes, I couldn't find them.
- 23:12Speaker 5: I was in the frozen section for ages, and then
- 23:14Speaker 5: I asked the ladys. She's like, Nah, those are down
- 23:16Speaker 5: in the regular shelves, so they're not even frozen. They're
- 23:18Speaker 5: not refrigerated, they're just sitting in a shelf. Yes, forever
- 23:21Speaker 5: you hate them for thirty seconds. Yes, there was.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Also.
- 23:24Speaker 5: One of the reasons I couldn't find them is because
- 23:25Speaker 5: as I walked in, it turns out there was a
- 23:27Speaker 5: giant value bin full of them. They're on special for
- 23:29Speaker 5: three dollars. Wow, I know, right?
- 23:31Speaker 3: So that quick is that, by the way, was a
- 23:34Speaker 3: woolies I think? Okay?
- 23:36Speaker 5: Can I just say I wish you would thoroughly enjoyed
- 23:38Speaker 5: it like that? It was delicious.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I thought you'd like it.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I actually thought you'd like it too keasy. And my
- 23:45Speaker 2: concern now is because now you have a cheeseball addiction.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You were saying last night, after your wife had gone
- 23:51Speaker 2: to bed, you weighed an entire packet of cheese balls
- 23:53Speaker 2: at ten o'clock.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Did I say that?
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:55Speaker 3: You did say that. I don't remember say that. Did
- 23:57Speaker 3: I say that? Yeah, you did say that. I did.
- 24:00Speaker 5: I was watching a documentary about camberdia an ate an
- 24:02Speaker 5: entire bag. It won't be getting an addiction to those though.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Right, Okay. It's very sweet to get addicted to, isn't it.
- 24:08Speaker 3: What's incredible about it is that it's a it's a
- 24:10Speaker 3: it's a food, people are meant to eat it, and
- 24:15Speaker 3: it just sits there on the shelf. You imagine if
- 24:17Speaker 3: you make a putting at home, Jase, how long would
- 24:19Speaker 3: you anticipate that that would last for before it went off?
- 24:22Speaker 3: Day or two day or two Yeah? Sure, this doesn't
- 24:24Speaker 3: expire until mid October. Mid October. What's that three months away?
- 24:32Speaker 3: Mid October twenty twenty five. I reckon you want to
- 24:35Speaker 3: eat two twenty five? I reckon eat it next year.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I reckon never ever ever put this in your body.
- 24:41Speaker 3: If that lasts for fifteen more months, it's not food.
- 24:47Speaker 3: And what you want to.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Do is just time it's and you know, just about
- 24:51Speaker 2: a week before it expires, because then it's at its peak.
- 24:54Speaker 3: It's at its peak.
- 24:55Speaker 2: So if you'll just excuse me, I'm going to finish
- 24:57Speaker 2: the rest of that off Fowlers in the meantime.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Oh better muse and excepts, by the way, not news.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Who the hell the Hdiarchy? Big Show with Jason, Mike
- 25:08Speaker 1: and Keyzy tune in.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Four on Radio Florence and the Machine there on the
- 25:13Speaker 2: Radio Hodaki Big Show this Monday afternoon. I'm having a
- 25:15Speaker 2: bit of a sugar rush at the moment, Fellers, after
- 25:18Speaker 2: the Art Betty Sponge and the red Ball, You're on.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Fire Man flopping out his burnt meat patties.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Yeah makes me sick. Or that might be the pudding.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, he had a spoonful, Keezy, come
- 25:32Speaker 3: on man.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Two spoons to be honest, I wanted a third, but
- 25:35Speaker 5: I fought the urge. Hey, Fellers, we recently touched on
- 25:40Speaker 5: this about two weeks ago. I've started studying again. Today's
- 25:45Speaker 5: my first first official day of studying. Now, last time
- 25:48Speaker 5: we discussed this, the audience left thinking that I was
- 25:51Speaker 5: studying midwiffery and that special things were going to have
- 25:55Speaker 5: to happen so that my massive honker didn't get in
- 25:57Speaker 5: the way when I was helped delivering a child.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Is that not what you're doing? No, that's not what
- 26:01Speaker 3: I've known. Ah, what are you doing?
- 26:03Speaker 5: I'm studying Maori because my name it's pronounced to My
- 26:11Speaker 5: nana recently passed away. She was Malory. She loved to speak.
- 26:13Speaker 5: It wasn't allowed when she was quite young. Actually it
- 26:15Speaker 5: was forbidden to speak Mary. Yes, verboden to pronounced verboden.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Verboden to speak Maori.
- 26:20Speaker 5: So I've started, and I was like, you know, I
- 26:22Speaker 5: came away from her tongue and I was like, I've
- 26:23Speaker 5: got to learn how.
- 26:24Speaker 4: To do it.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You know, I'm a broadcaster. I should do it.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Sure, signed up there and then and put like a
- 26:29Speaker 5: month and a half or a month away is when
- 26:31Speaker 5: the course will start. Because you can pick your own week.
- 26:33Speaker 5: I was like a month to build into it. Today's
- 26:35Speaker 5: my first day. I sat down at my laptop there,
- 26:38Speaker 5: nine am. Class started.
- 26:39Speaker 3: It's just me. It's one hundred percent online. Sat down.
- 26:42Speaker 3: There were four welcome videos. Watched those and.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Then I was like, right, well that's enough, and instantly
- 26:48Speaker 5: my old habits to do with studying came back. Yes,
- 26:51Speaker 5: and I was like, well, I've watched four videos. They
- 26:53Speaker 5: were about four minutes each. There was quite a lot
- 26:55Speaker 5: of information to sort of take in at once, so
- 26:58Speaker 5: I just closed my lappie there.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Well you're writing notes keazy No, no, no.
- 27:01Speaker 3: One, I don't really need to no.
- 27:02Speaker 5: It was just more about how to run the website
- 27:04Speaker 5: and stuff. Yeah, how to cook or no, it's the
- 27:08Speaker 5: open polytechnic.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I think that's the one that I did last year
- 27:11Speaker 3: when I started doing my uh my journey. How was it?
- 27:16Speaker 3: I honestly mean, I thought I was going to nail it.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I was ended up getting very busy putting it off,
- 27:21Speaker 3: putting it off, putting it off, apologizing and withdrawing yeah okay,
- 27:24Speaker 3: and then yeah the viewers to do it again this year.
- 27:27Speaker 3: It looks like it's going to be next year. Yeah,
- 27:29Speaker 3: being very busy.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Well that's the problem is, and this is the thing
- 27:32Speaker 5: for me, is I haven't been super busy, right.
- 27:34Speaker 3: No, you haven't been doing anything.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Well, I mean I have a series of things on it.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Maybe if my agent was a bit better, i'd be
- 27:41Speaker 3: flat out, but I'm not.
- 27:42Speaker 5: At the moment, so I've got time and it takes
- 27:45Speaker 5: apparently it's two hours a day, all right, So from
- 27:48Speaker 5: now on it's like class is going to start at
- 27:49Speaker 5: nine am every day, nine not eight nine, and then
- 27:52Speaker 5: at eleven I'll be done and that's how I'll start
- 27:54Speaker 5: my day each day.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Look, I think it's awesome, keazy, good on you man,
- 27:58Speaker 2: and it just makes it all with. If you're struggling,
- 28:01Speaker 2: just give us a call and I'll help you out,
- 28:03Speaker 2: all right, because I've done the course as well. And
- 28:07Speaker 2: if there's any sort of pitfalls that you've got, then
- 28:09Speaker 2: just let me know.
- 28:10Speaker 3: All right. Have you done the course there?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, just on that though. Y is it you jump
- 28:18Speaker 3: on like a zoom or something and there's other students
- 28:20Speaker 3: in the class or is it you you've just got
- 28:23Speaker 3: It's on the internet. It's a web base that you
- 28:26Speaker 3: have to go through. It doesn't start at nine o'clock.
- 28:28Speaker 3: That's when you're choosing to do it every day because
- 28:30Speaker 3: one of the hot tips. There were two tips I
- 28:32Speaker 3: took away from the sort of videos I was watching.
- 28:34Speaker 3: The first tip was set a regular time every day
- 28:36Speaker 3: that you do it, and I'm like cool, tip nine
- 28:37Speaker 3: am to eleven that's my class. And the other tip
- 28:40Speaker 3: was don't don't do heaps of study because you burn
- 28:42Speaker 3: yourself out. It was like, you know, studying little bursts,
- 28:46Speaker 3: and that was when I decided to close my laptop
- 28:47Speaker 3: and go, well, that's probably enough. Going a yeah, and
- 28:49Speaker 3: honestly that the desire because I was shocking at wagging.
- 28:53Speaker 5: When I was at school, I was terrible. Yeah, my
- 28:55Speaker 5: record was horrendous. Even when I was studying, I barely
- 28:57Speaker 5: scraped through and already it's coming back, and it's like,
- 29:00Speaker 5: you don't need to do this, man, go do something else.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I've got. There's this thing that happens to my brain
- 29:04Speaker 3: when I'm trying to teach it something, especially in that
- 29:08Speaker 3: classroom environment. I tried to learn Spanish once and you
- 29:10Speaker 3: just feel your brain on the verge of snapping and
- 29:13Speaker 3: falling out your ear. It's not for me. I don't
- 29:16Speaker 3: know what it is. I love it. I love it.
- 29:18Speaker 5: I mean you're always learningson Yeah, well that's right.
- 29:21Speaker 2: You know, you've got to keep an open mind and
- 29:23Speaker 2: the more information that I can get.
- 29:25Speaker 3: I'm like a sponge mogie.
- 29:26Speaker 2: You are like that aunt Betty's smonge sponge with a
- 29:29Speaker 2: bit of cream around the side.
- 29:30Speaker 3: You got an expiry date of three months. I just
- 29:33Speaker 3: I just lap it up, man, I lap it up.
- 29:35Speaker 3: What the pudding or the course? Everything? Knowledge?
- 29:38Speaker 7: Right?
- 29:39Speaker 3: Knowledge? Would the knowledge be you the cream? Do you
- 29:42Speaker 3: think in this analogy that we're going with, what's the sponge?
- 29:46Speaker 2: The sponge is me.
- 29:49Speaker 3: And you're just and you're just covered and cream, knowledge
- 29:53Speaker 3: and caramel sauce. Jace Kik home Man, thanks man the whole.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Actually Big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kizy.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Isn't it Nirvana there on the radio Honankey Big Show
- 30:06Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon. Don't forget, by the way, to go
- 30:09Speaker 2: to our Instagram page and vote on our big poll today.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Should competitive walking be banned from the Olympics? Yay or nay?
- 30:18Speaker 2: But speaking of gay Paris, let's get into a bit
- 30:20Speaker 2: of Olympic chat and what's going.
- 30:22Speaker 9: On goals, silver, bronze run, jump, shot, foot throw, hammer, throw, surfing, skateboarding, beach, volleyboard.
- 30:36Speaker 9: What's happening in gay Paris?
- 30:43Speaker 3: How good?
- 30:44Speaker 5: So good Fellas and.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Picnic campers and FOI Paras?
- 30:57Speaker 5: How much you'll give you your head in the last hour, Sami?
- 31:05Speaker 5: Hugely racist?
- 31:07Speaker 3: A good news.
- 31:08Speaker 5: My wife's favorite event and is the triathlon. And of
- 31:16Speaker 5: course Hayden Wild competed earlier, which was very exciting, got
- 31:19Speaker 5: to silver. The mixed triathlon gets underway in ten minutes.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Now, see this is a new edition, isn't I've never
- 31:27Speaker 3: heard of a mixed Triethlon you heard about this, Jesse, Yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 3: it's yeah, so it's a new edition. It's just another
- 31:33Speaker 3: thing that they've chucked in there.
- 31:34Speaker 5: So I don't know it's new, is it?
- 31:37Speaker 3: I can't say there's new organ says I've never heard
- 31:39Speaker 3: of it. Right, let me just clarify.
- 31:42Speaker 2: So they both do it the whole course or they
- 31:45Speaker 2: do legs of the course.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Well, the sort of thing that they sorry, Keezy, it's
- 31:51Speaker 3: the sort of thing that they do in charity events, right,
- 31:53Speaker 3: business house, I'll do a business house triathlon. Somebody will
- 31:56Speaker 3: do the run, somebody will do the swim and somebody
- 31:59Speaker 3: will do the bike.
- 31:59Speaker 5: I don't know if that's the case, and in fact
- 32:01Speaker 5: I do remember this being in the last Olympic Games
- 32:03Speaker 5: because we've only got four athletes competing, Dylan McCulloch, Hayden whild,
- 32:07Speaker 5: Nicole Vander Kay and Ainsley Thorpe.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So my my feeling would be that they all competed
- 32:13Speaker 2: and then they take their play things to determine the
- 32:16Speaker 2: team score. Right yeah, yeah, I mean I don't imagine
- 32:20Speaker 2: one does this.
- 32:21Speaker 5: UN's a really good point. Yeah, that's how they do it,
- 32:24Speaker 5: and surely we can, like all of us, especially you JS,
- 32:26Speaker 5: have got computers in front of us, we could google
- 32:28Speaker 5: how it works.
- 32:28Speaker 3: I already have. It's really simple. Really, Each team has
- 32:33Speaker 3: four members, two men and two women. Okay, you know
- 32:37Speaker 3: they all can complete their own mini triathlon the swim
- 32:42Speaker 3: followed by the run, and then that's where the description
- 32:46Speaker 3: runs out. So it doesn't really make a lot of sense.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Right, Okay, So they compete a shorter triathlon and they
- 32:51Speaker 5: add the top the points up or whatever.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Yes, here's a here's a question for your feel.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Do you want me to read out any more stuff
- 32:57Speaker 5: happening tonight in Paris or just.
- 32:58Speaker 3: There we can get back to that. Okay, let's let's
- 33:01Speaker 3: jump all over the place. Ye, just like Jason's brain
- 33:04Speaker 3: at the moment.
- 33:04Speaker 2: He's here's a question for yeah, and what sport at
- 33:09Speaker 2: the Olympics? Do men and woman compete in the same event?
- 33:13Speaker 3: A question? That's great, Jason.
- 33:15Speaker 5: So if you want to watch the if you want
- 33:18Speaker 5: to see what's the name of our pole vaulter? How
- 33:20Speaker 5: you Eliza McCartney. If you want to see Eliza McCartney
- 33:23Speaker 5: qualify eight she will be in her qualifying stages, which
- 33:29Speaker 5: is very exciting.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Love a bit of pole vaulting.
- 33:30Speaker 2: See the dude that got his dude called on the pole?
- 33:33Speaker 5: There teen thirty eight tonight, if you want to see
- 33:36Speaker 5: Simone Biles compete and potentially win a medal.
- 33:39Speaker 3: And the woman's balance beam. Oh she's American, isn't she. Yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 3: that's right, but she's just one of the greatest we
- 33:44Speaker 3: ever do it?
- 33:45Speaker 4: So?
- 33:46Speaker 3: Ah? The goat, Yes, you goat mobile. I would I
- 33:52Speaker 3: would stay out till ten thirty to see a goat
- 33:54Speaker 3: on the balance beam?
- 33:55Speaker 4: Is it?
- 33:56Speaker 3: Do you guys? What do you guys want? The middle Telly? Yes? Please?
- 33:59Speaker 3: Can I what the big show Middle Telly update.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Is it all good if we just do the middle
- 34:09Speaker 5: Telly or when you're jeez? New Zealand has got two
- 34:15Speaker 5: golds bonjour, may we four silvers l a one bronze
- 34:28Speaker 5: name that's worth two astrics? Twostrics? What what's the second astrict?
- 34:35Speaker 3: Johnny got fourth on the one surfing, so we've got
- 34:38Speaker 3: our second at right, So pretty good.

- 34:46Speaker 5: astricts is fifteenth place, key.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Pep population please per.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Kept per population, New Zealand is currently sitting fourth per

- 35:03Speaker 5: is one metal per six hundred and eighty eight thousand people.

- 35:07Speaker 5: That's pretty good man, that's pretty good, fellas.
- 35:11Speaker 3: What we should do is throw out a million people,
- 35:14Speaker 3: right yeah, and then it would be even better, would
- 35:17Speaker 3: be in first place. Just get rid of all the

- 45:58Speaker 3: Totally.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Oh what's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 46:07Speaker 6: Yeah, good stuff films.
- 46:18Speaker 2: I feel like you're trying, You're just trying to get
- 46:20Speaker 2: through through it now, Kezy, what do you mean?
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah, just yelp ding ding.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Well, I just don't really have time for you to have.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I had a lovely anecdote about what Bruce springs there,
- 46:30Speaker 2: how we used.
- 46:31Speaker 3: To be lovers in that? What did you watch? Magie?
- 46:36Speaker 3: Come on hit us. There's a lot of sport on
- 46:38Speaker 3: over the weekend, but I did manage to get in
- 46:40Speaker 3: a little bit of narrative Telly.
- 46:44Speaker 4: On.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I think it's on Disney, Poor Things, Poor Things. It's
- 46:49Speaker 3: a movie starring Emma Stone. She won the Academy Award
- 46:52Speaker 3: for it. Yes this year, incredible art department. Let me
- 46:57Speaker 3: say the lighting was amazing. Hey can I say beautifully
- 47:01Speaker 3: shot that bad? She's a good actor. I'm a big
- 47:05Speaker 3: fan of Willon Dafoe. I thought Mark Ruffalo was very
- 47:07Speaker 3: funny because I always think he plays a bit of
- 47:09Speaker 3: a sap, and even though I do like him, he
- 47:11Speaker 3: often plays characters that are a little bit sappy. They're
- 47:14Speaker 3: always complaining about something. So it was nice to see
- 47:17Speaker 3: him play something different. But it was kookie as well.
- 47:21Speaker 3: But I just thought it banged on it. It was
- 47:24Speaker 3: two and a half hours long. I've got about an
- 47:26Speaker 3: hour and a half into it. The time was nine o'clock.
- 47:28Speaker 3: I was like, I'd rather be asleep.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Okay, I watched the same movie right and for the
- 47:36Speaker 2: first half an hour my wife and I were like, yes,
- 47:39Speaker 2: this is too mad, this is too crazy and kooky
- 47:42Speaker 2: for me.
- 47:43Speaker 3: I don't know that I can watch that. It takes
- 47:45Speaker 3: them getting through that.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that first half hours, like what is this? Then
- 47:51Speaker 2: I actually really enjoyed it. After that point, I know
- 47:53Speaker 2: what you mean. It's kind of whack. And I liked Ruffalo.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Her performance is pretty extraordinary. It would have been a
- 48:01Speaker 2: challenging role to play that one.
- 48:03Speaker 3: I guess the and we should say what it's about.
- 48:06Speaker 3: It's about It's essentially a Frankenstein movie, with Emma Stone's
- 48:11Speaker 3: character having the her as an adult, having the brain
- 48:17Speaker 3: of a baby put into her head. Her baby. Yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 3: I wasn't going to go into that. Oh and then
- 48:23Speaker 3: we then we and then she has to sort of
- 48:26Speaker 3: grow old within the older body, you know, right, and
- 48:29Speaker 3: willum Defoe's great in that. But an extensive period of
- 48:34Speaker 3: time is spent on her sexual awakening, Yes, like over
- 48:39Speaker 3: an hour, and you just sort of think, well, if
- 48:41Speaker 3: we're running at two minutes twenty, can we sort of
- 48:44Speaker 3: get to the point of that in about ten or
- 48:46Speaker 3: fifteen minutes? Do we have to bang on about it
- 48:49Speaker 3: for a whole hour? And act? You loved it and
- 48:52Speaker 3: it was funny, but it was just like I kind
- 48:55Speaker 3: of got it, man, Like, Okay, she's found six great.
- 48:58Speaker 3: I take your point.
- 48:59Speaker 2: I take your point, but yeah, in the end, I
- 49:02Speaker 2: enjoyed it. What poor things?
- 49:05Speaker 3: How many buzzies out of five? Well there was there
- 49:08Speaker 3: was no shortage.
- 49:12Speaker 5: Is this still our rating or is this just how
- 49:14Speaker 5: many buzzies they were? There was two busies, but I
- 49:16Speaker 5: can't remember how often. So it's sad to.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Say three buzzies out of five?
- 49:20Speaker 3: Is that you're rating for the movie? I don't think
- 49:24Speaker 3: I can give a rainy because I didn't even finish
- 49:25Speaker 3: watching it. I will eventually finish it back would I
- 49:29Speaker 3: recommend it to the vast majority of people?
- 49:32Speaker 4: No?
- 49:32Speaker 3: Would you recommend it to me?
- 49:34Speaker 4: No?
- 49:34Speaker 2: I don't think your wife would like it, right, And
- 49:38Speaker 2: I don't think because it is kind of and it's
- 49:41Speaker 2: deeply sexual at parts, and not that I'm saying that
- 49:44Speaker 2: your wife doesn't like sexuality.
- 49:46Speaker 3: But I know you guys like the country calendar thing
- 49:48Speaker 3: and there is some animal husbandry though.
- 49:54Speaker 5: Yes, oh yeah, we would be into that because we
- 49:56Speaker 5: like country calendar. That's like animals banging, right.
- 49:59Speaker 1: You would be right into the the whole Archy Big
- 50:01Speaker 1: Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Kesey the Black Keys there on the radio Hodankey Big
- 50:07Speaker 2: Show this Monday afternoon. Now, pretty soon we're off to
- 50:11Speaker 2: Beer Vanner and there's gonna be a lot of fantastic
- 50:14Speaker 2: different beers at Beer Banner as always over three hundred
- 50:17Speaker 2: three hundred, I believe. So what we're going to do
- 50:20Speaker 2: is just focus on little breweries over the coming weeks.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Fellas give them a bit of a plug, as it were,
- 50:26Speaker 2: hit us with the adminum today's brewery there, Keezy, we're
- 50:32Speaker 2: f to find the brewery of the day.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Did we use that last year? Yeah? Yeah, good here.
- 50:42Speaker 3: It makes sense to use it. It sounded familiar. It's good.
- 50:45Speaker 5: So beer Vanna twenty third and twenty fourth of August.
- 50:47Speaker 5: We're gonna be down there, Fellas just a few weeks away.
- 50:50Speaker 5: Today we are shining a spotlight on abandoned brewery. And
- 50:54Speaker 5: it's not an abandoned brewery. It's a real brewery, abandon
- 50:58Speaker 5: a band in a brewery, abandoned brewer. Sometimes they might
- 51:01Speaker 5: have bands play there, but it's called abandoned brewery.
- 51:05Speaker 2: And we're abouts and where about? So they located, Keezy?
- 51:08Speaker 2: Is that an okay question?
- 51:10Speaker 3: Good question?
- 51:11Speaker 5: They are located among the cobwebs and the grime and
- 51:14Speaker 5: an old factory in Lower Hut. Oh yeah, where the
- 51:18Speaker 5: remnants of a brewery was left for dead.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, there's a lot of it's beautiful spoty out there,
- 51:22Speaker 3: very industrial. They got the Griffins factory out there went
- 51:27Speaker 3: for a long time. I haven't heard of the abandoned
- 51:29Speaker 3: one before, but I think, do you reckon Wellington's probably
- 51:31Speaker 3: the king of the brewery. Oh, I'd say so. The
- 51:34Speaker 3: little a lot of them down there to hang on.
- 51:38Speaker 5: The cool thing about this one is that it is
- 51:41Speaker 5: in a place, as you said, Mike where there were
- 51:44Speaker 5: lots of like abandoned factories and stuff going on. So
- 51:47Speaker 5: they brought this one back to life and it is
- 51:50Speaker 5: now a true micro brewery. Would never say dieing attitude
- 51:54Speaker 5: and deep belief in the craft and arsenal of ideas
- 51:56Speaker 5: and calm amongst the chaos.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Sounds very very Wellington to me, it does, you know
- 52:02Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 52:02Speaker 2: And this is the great thing about one because they
- 52:04Speaker 2: say Wennington's a sort of coffee capital, little boutique coffee places,
- 52:09Speaker 2: you know, just just Kiwis and general Keezy. They love
- 52:14Speaker 2: their boutiquies, you know what I'm saying.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Fellows, Yeah, yeah, and they've got a tap room out
- 52:19Speaker 3: there as well. Oh wow, here, I'm just on the website.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I tell you what, Man, it looks awesome. I'm going
- 52:26Speaker 3: to get into I'm going to get involved in.
- 52:27Speaker 5: That abandoned brewery. Mate is going to get involved that.
- 52:29Speaker 5: You should to come along to Beervana twenty third, twenty
- 52:32Speaker 5: fourth of August, down Wellington at sky Stadium.
- 52:34Speaker 3: We'll see you there and you can take says. Closed
- 52:37Speaker 3: today and tomorrow, but it's open from Tuesday to Sunday.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Okay, so that closed Monday.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Monday, Tuesday. They're having a couple of days off Wednesday
- 52:46Speaker 3: to Sunday. Yeah, they're back into it. Yeah, right backbone
- 52:49Speaker 3: the whole.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Uckey b Show Weddays from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Well there you get your man, Boss. That's your Monday done.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Undas at your plans for tonight, Magie?
- 53:11Speaker 3: Not too sure, Actually not too sure. I like a
- 53:14Speaker 3: Monday go home. I might watch something. Maybe you'll finish
- 53:17Speaker 3: watching Poor Things, but I doubt it. Sure, I do
- 53:20Speaker 3: need to find another TV show. And in fact, I'd
- 53:22Speaker 3: like to talk to you guys about a show on Disney.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Have you got Disney, Jason, have you got Disney? Keysie's
- 53:27Speaker 3: got Disney as well, guys. And there's a show on
- 53:30Speaker 3: there called Mister in Between. And what I'd like to
- 53:33Speaker 3: do is for all of us to watch two episodes
- 53:36Speaker 3: a night and then we can report on it the
- 53:39Speaker 3: next day. It would be my top three TV shows
- 53:42Speaker 3: of all time. Which one's that Mister in Between? Who's
- 53:46Speaker 3: in it? Nobody? It's an Australian show and it's about
- 53:49Speaker 3: a hit man, but it's very grounded in reality and
- 53:53Speaker 3: it is just amazing sort of that as the guys
- 53:56Speaker 3: that brought you Animal Kingdom and that sort of stuff.
- 53:58Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 53:59Speaker 8: Right?
- 53:59Speaker 3: That film?
- 54:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 54:00Speaker 3: Nice.
- 54:01Speaker 5: I just messaged my wife. I said, tonight, we're going
- 54:04Speaker 5: to watch the first episode of Talkback. Oh and what
- 54:07Speaker 5: I want to do because I've seen them all, But
- 54:08Speaker 5: what I want to do is watch it with her. Yeah,
- 54:10Speaker 5: because the other day, Mike, you told me that you
- 54:12Speaker 5: and your wife watched one of my favorite shows and
- 54:14Speaker 5: she slammed it. Oh yeah, Colin from accounts on TV
- 54:17Speaker 5: ens Plus. So I watch it with my make it no, No,
- 54:20Speaker 5: I know, but I was very emotionally invested in her
- 54:22Speaker 5: and it was evacerated by your wife and so and
- 54:25Speaker 5: then you face to that night, I know, and she
- 54:28Speaker 5: continued to just kick pick it.
- 54:31Speaker 4: And so.
- 54:33Speaker 5: We're going to watch it together. To be fair, I
- 54:35Speaker 5: enjoy it. I will see if Lucy likes that an
- 54:36Speaker 5: old report well.
- 54:37Speaker 3: And to be fair, I don't think it warms up
- 54:38Speaker 3: to the thirty episodes. I don't want to hear anything
- 54:40Speaker 3: until after starting from the first ear. Jason, what are
- 54:45Speaker 3: you doing?
- 54:46Speaker 2: I'm off filming tonight, Fell and Helensville eleven eleven pm,
- 54:52Speaker 2: call time two am.
- 54:55Speaker 8: RAP.
- 54:55Speaker 3: I'm stoked and looking forward to it. What are you filming.
- 54:58Speaker 2: I can't tell you so, so it'll be Sleepy Jay tomorrow,
- 55:03Speaker 2: Sleepy Jay comin, see you later.

- 55:08Speaker 3: this super good
