- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Can you believe?
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Can you believe that it is already week seven?
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: It is crazy to sit here and think about that.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: We're going into the one month number two, of course, in the NFL season.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: At this point, we are starting to develop the tendencies.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Which teams are good, which teams are bad, which players are good, which players are bad.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: And now you're also starting to see the panic in fantasy football teams where they're panicking on whether they need to make a move or not.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Same with the NFL, starting JJ McCarthy, cutting Najee Harris.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: You can tell there's a lot of panic in that Giants roster, the way they're organizing their team.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: But of course, I am Natter alongside Tip and Nico, and this is the Fantasy Football Space Podcast.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Super excited.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: How are you guys doing out here today, boys?
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Don't jump all out at once.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Oh look, you know, I'm I'm excited.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm always excited to be here with the guys, with the fellas.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm even more excited about some news you're about to drop because uh we had a little bit of a milestone, but we'll go ahead and let Nico talk first.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm doing good, man.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Um, just moving and grooving with the newborn, uh, doing a lot of content and uh excited to be here.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: We got episode 21 tonight.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, should be a good one.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: But of course, you know what?
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I always got to shout out the people, the fans listening, of course.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, you know what?
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: I was thinking about this though.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Then I don't remember if I told you guys this, but I was thinking of like what to call the fans because usually you know everybody's got the you know, the Swifties, they got the Swifties, got the directioneers, the Bleebers, and you know, the the other bands and all that.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: They got names for the fans, right?
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: The spacers.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: This I was thinking the astronauts.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's hell no, that's corny as hell.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Come up with something better than that.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: No, no, you know, they call no astronauts.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: It's a fantasy football space, the astronauts, it's a fantasy football space, but they ain't no damn astronauts.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: What's the background?
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: That's why it's astronauts.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: We're the astronauts.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Like, you you guys see the background, like it's space, like it it's space.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: We could call them well, we can't call them clones because Jim Rome took that one.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: I like that one would have been cool.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: Um, but if let's let's noodle on it.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Let's noodle on it.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have to we'll noodle on it, we'll noodle on it.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Maybe we can ask, maybe we can ask the the people out there what they want to do.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: God, all right.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Well, of course, you know what?
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: We'll ask the chat if you guys have one that's cooler than that one, then of course let me know and put it in the comments down below.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: But of course, the second reason I'm bringing it up is that we officially hit a thousand followers on Twitter.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: I refuse to call it X for some odd reason, but of course, we have to sit here, all three of us, show our appreciation for everybody that decided to hit that follow button and feel like we are a value of their time, whether that's entertainment, infotainment, and of course, fantasy analysis.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: We are just here to support you guys and make sure you guys put the best uh best content possible to help you guys win your fantasy leagues.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: So, of course, as always, highly appreciate it.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: And of course, if you haven't hit that follow button, make sure you do that to follow the fastest growing fantasy analyst analysis channel, and of course, podcasting platform at FF Space Pod and on any type of podcasting platform.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: You could see it all links in the description, or of course on the side.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: You guys could see there, so you can hit that follow.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jay Snow.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Highly appreciate you as well.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: You're absolutely killing it all the way down and below.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: So, of course, that is going to be the introductory enough with the oh, we'll pause on that one.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: That announced hey, hey, we're not pausing on that one, boys.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: We're not pausing on that one.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Uh uh, but of course, that's enough.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: You know, uh, what do you call it?
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: What do you call it?
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, I don't know what's the term for it.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: How many people know people are here?
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, people are here for some fantasy football content.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that's enough.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: You're just up here on your soapbox, you know, telling people that we appreciate them, which we absolutely do.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: So uh we got a good show lined up for y'all and excited to get into it.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: So, of course, on today's episode, we're gonna be doing our usual spiel with the starts and sits, the pickets, pick of the week, news and notes.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: But of course, we're also gonna be doing the would you rather segment in today's episode.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: So, you know what?
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Hey, are you guys ready to just kick it off all on?
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Let's do it.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: I'm ready.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Let's do it.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: Uh, and you know, this one took me a while.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: Would you rather?
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Uh hold on, hold on.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Let me let me just let me just dust myself off.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: You're welcome, boys.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Let me just let me just dust that one off.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: You're welcome.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: I I'm cooking on those intros.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I'm cooking on these transitions.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: That one I'm not gonna lie.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: That one was I'm not gonna lie.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: Like, my the thing I look forward to on every live show that we do is what you cook up for our segment intros.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: Like it's the most exciting part of the show for me.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I feel like that I feel like the content should be the best part, but I mean, I don't know, maybe maybe I'm being dramatic, but hey, you know what?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: I appreciate it.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I'll take that as a compliment on that said.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: But of course, we're gonna be discussing a lot on the would you rather segment, you know.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Tip Nico, you guys have some prompts for us, and um, of course, I have one as well, but we don't really care about mine.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: On would you rather start roster, keep for rest of the season, fab budget?
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: Nico, you're up first.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: What is yours?
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: Would you rather?
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so my question was would you rather start Ashton Genty or Bucky Irving this week?
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Now, assuming that this is a half PPR league, uh, I don't feel that neither of them are sits or bad starts, but if I'm picking between these two players, I'm gonna go ahead and start Bucky Irving uh this week against Carolina.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Uh Carolina has allowed the highest yard per carry mark of the season, 5.10 yards per tote, and the fifth most fantasy points per game to the running back position.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: And Bucky's looked good, man.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: He's getting solid volume, he's averaging 19 and a half touches per game.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: Kenny Gainwell isn't really being all that involved, and he's getting good volume.
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: And like I said, he's 16th in EPA per attempt, 13th in yard per carry.
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: The matchup here is solid.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Meanwhile, don't get mad at me, Tip.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: But yeah, you know, I'm about to hit the Raiders, you know.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Come on, man.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: Genty again.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: But Genty, he's looked kind of bad, man.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: And here's the thing like, it's I feel it's mostly due to the lingering foot and ankle injury that he's playing through, obviously showing some grit, showing some heart, but you know, he's 41st in yards per carry, 44th in EPA per attempt, 39th in explosive run rate, 40th in missed tackles forced per attempt.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: And it's not the offensive line.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: Mike Washington's efficiency metrics are significantly better.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: Combine that with his tougher matchup against the Rams, who are allowing a 3.85 yard per carry mark, I think you have a better chance of getting 16 plus points this week with Bucky than you do with Genty.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: And the last two games, Genty's only seen seen 10 carries a game.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: Um, he's still getting the volume in the passing game, which is kind of keeping his floor up.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: I just feel like with his efficiency being down, you know, he's perhaps a safer play for like 10 to 12.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: But if you're playing more upside, which with these guys you absolutely should, uh start Bucky Irving this week over Ashton Genty.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: It's that bad.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, well, no, net or no, and and I'm happy.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Well, no, but I'm happy that it's and I'm happy that he said it because he is ranked seven out of 57 qualified running backs for what seven yards per route run.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And he's getting he's getting those opportunities in the passing game.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: That that's that's where he's that's where he's helping fantasy managers, that's why he's averaging 16.7 points because of those of those points.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I don't care how he gets it, I don't care if he runs it, I don't care if he passes it, I don't care if he whatever, whatever he's got to do, as long as he's getting me fantasy points, that's what you're caring about in this situation.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: Yes, the efficiency has got to come back up, but I think it's really just due to his injury and he's playing through it, so it obviously is something that's nagging him, but he's able to play through it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I think once he's back to full strength, we'll see some of those efficiency metrics go back up.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: Here's the question for you Do you feel he's going to get back at full strength?
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: Do you think he's gonna maybe take a week off before a bye week or like you know, actually rest one or two games?
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: The schedule's really hard, and you guys need a dub.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: So you know what I mean?
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: He's powering through.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: I get that.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're we're gonna in order for in order for us to win, Ashton Genty needs to be on that team.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Uh and like we're not gonna have a shot without him on that team.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Now, I mean, if he's hurt, he's hurt.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: We've got to deal with that situation, maybe look at the bye weeks, maybe do some things that way.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: But right now, he's able to play through it, so he's deemed healthy enough to play.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Is he at 100%?
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: No, but nobody truly is at this point.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: So I think you still roll with him, and I think that you know, yes, it's it's a game.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Like for me, the whole thing behind it is Bucky Irving versus Ash and Genty.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: You gotta roll out there with Ash and Genty.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: You you it's reluctant, but you have to do it.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: I watched the the eye.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: If you just watch the games, you take away the analytics and you watch the games, the eye test swings completely in Bucky Irving's favor, completely bucky.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: There's like just from the explosiveness, the cuts, the dynamic, the effort, the the ability to break tackles that we discussed.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: That Genty isn't able to do, like, yeah, it's completely in Bucky Irving's favor right now.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: This is really matchup driven for sure.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: Um, Carolina gets absolutely shredded on the ground.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: Um, so it is more matchup driven.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: I think if you're looking at rest of season tip, I would much rather have maybe maybe that's I'm not maybe I maybe you got me get my blood flowing talking about Ashley Genty.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: I started laying well, maybe not this week, but next week and the next following weeks.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: But no, you're right.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: Like if I have Bucky Irving and someone sent me an offer for Genty, I would be smash accepting that for rest of season.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: But if we're looking at week seven specifically, yeah, I'm rolling with Bucky.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: But I'm really curious on Natter's would you rather?
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: Because I feel that he loves these guys, like these are two of probably his favorite wide receivers in the game.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: So Natter, I gotta know, would you rather roster Garrett Wilson or Malik Neighbors with JJ McCarthy starting this week for the rest of the 2026 season?
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Uh I think literally, what did he say?
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: I think you gotta go smash with uh Malik Neighbors on this one, and honestly, it's it's not to me, it's not really arguable.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: The last three weeks, neighbors he finished in all wide receivers 10, 4, and I think it was like one, one or two last week.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, he has been consistent with the inconsistencies of the quarterback play.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Now, that's not being said, anything against uh Garrett Wilson, he's actually been very solid, very consistent throughout this year, which I did not expect, but I would rather have Malik Neighbors for multiple reasons.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: One that division is wide open, making it so that they're gonna be wanting to push for the divisional spot.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: And if they're gonna do that, then of course Malik Neighbors is gonna have to be productive.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: And if he's productive, he's fantasy productive, and I'm all in for that.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: Now, two, it's also the Jets, they always find a way to you know Jets are always gonna be the Jets at some point, and they're always gonna cook you over.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: So, of course, you're not gonna want to be a part of that, especially as the season tails off, and then they start getting eliminated from the playoffs, and then after that, you don't know what's gonna happen, whether they rest their starters, look for the younger players, or of course, they just don't produce.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, if they're losing games, it means they're not producing, right?
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: So, that being said, Malik Neighbors also eye test he is the better wide receiver out of the two.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: Whether it's debatable on how close it is, I feel like it is like that.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: But Malik Neighbors is going to be the guy that I want rest of the season.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: What do you think on this one?
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Um, Nico Nico muted his mic.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Rookie, rookie moved.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: Um, I can't really say I'm like super surprised, I would say.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: Um, it's just funny because I feel like Natter is not a fan of either of these players.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: Anyone that plays for the Jets, Snatter's probably like, don't want it.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: And I feel like the fact that you went with neighbors, even with JJ McCarthy slated to start next week, which you know presumably will be for the rest of the year.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, we saw what he did with, or not with, but to Justin Jefferson last year.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: He took him from you know perennial wide receiver one to a shaky wide receiver two.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: I think there is some worry.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: Um, but we'll see how things go.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: It's a tough matchup against Houston.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: I know we came on our show uh a few weeks ago and we talked about how Houston's actually been kind of vulnerable to the wide receiver position, but there was some positive regression coming for them, um, which we saw that uh in their matchup the other week.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna go with neighbors too, um, just because I think there's a higher ceiling that you can play with, but I think Wilson probably provides you a safer PPR floor, but we're here to win championships, not sixth place.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Tip, uh, how do you feel about it as you're typing over?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: I was just nervous about the whole JJ McCarthy.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: I'm just nervous about the whole JJ McCarthy thing, man.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: Um, this this is it could go good, it could go bad.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know where it's gonna go.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't seem to me that that John Harbaugh knows where it's gonna go either.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: I think he seems like he's out of sorts as well.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Uh, I do like the fact that that Garrett Wilson is uh four out of uh he's fourth in uh separation, average separation grade.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: That right there, that's what he does.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: He's a great route runner, he knows how to separate, and so does Malik neighbors, but who's giving him the ball?
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: And either we look neither one of them are great, but I I just don't know, man.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: What we've seen from JJ McCarthy, maybe he's turned a corner.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: I know we saw something cool in the fourth quarter last week, but that was a that was a different situation.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: I just don't know what to think about it with him, man.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm gonna go the other way.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go contrarian.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna stick with Garrett Wilson.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: I think that uh this offense, as long as it can keep uh keep you know the the pass catchers at bay, and when they get Brees Hall back too, that that'll help open up this offense.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: I still like Garrett Wilson.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll to wrap this up and put a bow on it.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: The biggest also reason that I forgot to mention against or for Malik neighbors is his playoff schedule.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: He goes against Cleveland, Detroit, Dallas, and then Philadelphia.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: So that's a pretty solid playoff schedule to go against if you expect yourself.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Which, of course, if you're listening to us, then you definitely expect to make it that far into the season.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: So, um, let's see, hold on, real quick, as I'm being notified by the homie Nico, that we got some questions in the chat.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: Do we?
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: We well, we got a few questions, but um, yeah, let's just answer them really quick.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: So, the first one is coming from our boy Big Marcus Sports, aka Bulldog Boy.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: What is up, dude?
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: Um, he wants to know Bo Nick's McKee or Gino this week.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: He has Josh Allen on a bye.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: It is six points uh per passing T D.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: So obviously, you know, more not picking Bonex and I'm not taking Pen Tanner McKee.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm going Gino.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: It hurts to say that, but I almost agree.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Actually, I do agree because I'm in the same situation, not quite the same, but basically the same situation.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: I do have Josh Allen, he's on a buy.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: I looked at the waivers, and in a two QB, not too big, not too QB.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: In a dynasty league, Gino's actually one of the only QBs available, so I put a waiver claim for him or fab claim, I should say.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you know what?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I mean they're they're going against the dolphins, guys.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, this one, yeah, this was pretty easy for me.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna give you an answer that you're probably not gonna like.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Um, but I'm gonna go with Bonex.
- 16:54SPEAKER_02: And listen, I listen to it.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: He hasn't had more than two touchdowns.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: Listen, uh, okay, it's been terrible.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm not gonna sit here and say it's been good, he's been an absolute bust, he's been unstartable, but this week is the week to get right, it is against Arizona.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: Um, they have a pretty high tie to high team total um on sportsbooks.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: So Vegas is expecting them to score a lot of points.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: It might be through the ground, it might be through bonex.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: I just like the matchup a lot more.
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: I like the Gino pick because it is obviously against Miami.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: I think Gino's the safer play.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: Like, if you feel that you want a guaranteed 12 to 14 points, I would say go ahead and go with Gino.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: But if you want to play some upside and potentially get 20 plus points, um, especially with Josh Allen on a bye and play some upside for one week, I think that's bone.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: If he was rushing, I would be with you, but he's not rushing, he's he's still dealing with that ankle.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, and he's only had two touchdowns in one game this season.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: I need him to score more touchdowns, man.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: And and the whole offense just looks inept.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: I I can't I if again, if he was rushing the ball a little bit, that would that would kind of cushion this.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: But I man, I just the way he's playing, I don't care who he's playing right now.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And we saw what Arizona did.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Now I know that was a divisional game last week, but we saw what they did against a high-powered offense in the in the Rams, or supposedly, but uh yeah, I just I don't know.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: There's a lot there's a lot of rumors that like Mike LaFleur had the inside scoop um on the Rams offense, considering he came from them last week.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: But um, yeah, well, there you go.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: Um, big Marcus, uh Bulldog boy.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: You got a couple of different answers.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: Go with uh go with your gut, go with uh who you feel you want to go with.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: The second question is coming from a big blowing um on Twitter.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: Would you I I'm just gonna leave it at that.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: Um, would you trade Stefan Diggs and Kendra Miller for Chase Brown?
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yes, yeah.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: Okay, moving on.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, you will.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, show must go on.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: Wow, all righty.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so well, speaking of trades.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: No, look, speaking of trades, I'm gonna talk to you about something.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: So we I my question is would you rather keep a struggling stud like Ashton Genty or trade him for two dead dependable starters?
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: I this depends.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: This totally depends on what type of league you're in.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: If you're in a redraft league, I'm gonna give you two answers.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: If you're in a redraft league, I would absolutely start to think about that, especially if you have a uh a plus record.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: So if you have a plus record, you already have some other players that are playing really well or some other studs, then I would definitely take away that stud that you have, get two really viable assets for that stud, players that are gonna be getting opportunities, players that have favorable matchups as well, players who have good playoff matchups, players who are on good offenses.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: These are the type of players you want to target because right now, certain players that you were depending on, you got to get rid of them.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Now, if it's a dynasty league, that's a different story.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: I'm holding on to these stud players a little bit uh a little bit more uh tighter.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm I'm being a little bit more Stooge-like with them and uh or or Scrooge-like with them, not Stooge, Scrooge like with them.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: So uh I'm I'm gonna right.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna uh I'm gonna hold on to him a little bit more because yes, this this season that I'm in right now must suck with him, but it's only a season.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: You're dealing with this player for the rest of their career, and hopefully you're at the beginning of that part of the career, you can start to see.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Well, hey, if I just stay the course, keep building around that player, then you can do that.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: So it's two ways you can look at this.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: But if I'm in a redraft league and I'm half Ashton Genty, I'm definitely shopping him right now.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, here.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: Let me let me ask you a question real fast, and then I'll get into my point.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: When has we'll go a running back or wide receiver struggled one year, not due to injury, and then completely bounced back the next year to his elite status.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's been times where that's happened.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: What like it's just one of those like what you can look at Joe Mixon, you can look at Joe Mixon that one year that he was with the last year he was with Cincinnati, and then he came and played with the Texans, and he had that like damn near career year.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Um you can look at players like that, you can look at players like um, let's see, there was another player.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Um who does Kenneth Walker count?
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Kenneth Walker can count switch team.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can play switch teams.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: That's different.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: It's as okay.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: So you're saying the same team, yeah.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: Like like Marvin Harris is struggling like this.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: Like, if he were to stay on the Cardinals, do you think like he would actually like play better next year?
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: What about Jameer Gibbs?
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Jameer Gibbs.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Well, what was wrong with him?
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, his rookie season, he was basically in a complete timeshare with Montgomery.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: He was still an RB1 just because he elevated doesn't make it like it was bad.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Like we're talking about the
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: But Genty Men got back up.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: Genty was also an RB1 in or last.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: He underperformed.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: You could say that.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: And he's still he's still he's like double downing on the on the on the underperformance.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: His team is better and he's playing worse.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: He's the RB12.
- 22:15SPEAKER_02: So, like, let's he's just not showcasing that top five upside that you know a lot of analysts and people probably thought you know might happen.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: So, um, anyways, we got another question uh from OG fantasy football.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: Um, let's go ahead and pull it up on the screen.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Just traded away JT for Marv and Hampton in a middling dynasty team.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's Marvin Harrison.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: That's definitely Marvin Harrison.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: So think about it.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: You're you're in a dynasty format, you're in the middle, like you're not, you know, that you're probably not good enough to compete with the top teams, you're not necessarily at the bottom.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: You just got two guys who are what 23, 24 years old.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, for a JT who like let's get real.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, unless you're Derrick Henry and you play until you're like 32, 33.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's 27.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: It's very possible that he only has a year or two left.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm I'm down, I'm down with that.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: I I I understand that aspect of it.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: What I'm not down with is I'm not down with getting Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: and Omarion Hampton right now.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: Like that, that like like you're not doing anything to help you.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, when you do a trade, even in Dynasty, you gotta try to do something to help, even if you're a middling team, middling team doesn't mean you're bottom of the barrel.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: Like you still may be a player or two away.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: I just don't agree with the two players that he got.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: That's that's the only thing.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, I think for Jonathan Taylor, for what he's done, I I understand he's older, I just think you could have probably got some better players out of it that are gonna have some success now.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: I would have I would have said Jeremy, I would have gone after Jeremy, uh Jeremy Bernard.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, he had a blow-up game last week, but I mean, I would have gone after him.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Uh rather than Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: You you're trading for those players expecting them to flourish in the new systems that they're currently in.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: Um, that being said, Jonathan Taylor is uh he's 27 years old, just to make that clear.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: He's still he still has a couple good years left in him.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I would have done that trade, I'll be honest with you.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: I feel like uh it's a Titan.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Uh if it was redraft, I would I would insult you.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: Actually, I would I would roast you so badly if it was Dynasty Dynasty.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I could understand it.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: I probably wouldn't have done it, but I understand.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: I probably would have tried to get a pick and not Marv.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: Like I probably'm good with Hampton, but I probably would have tried to negotiate, yeah.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: That Marv.
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: I probably would have tried to negotiate like getting a first round and Hampton or something like that instead of uh both the players.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: Uh, we have one more question in the chat.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: Um, again from our uh bulldog boy, uh Big Marcus Sports.
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: He asks, if y'all have time, would you guys start a dunze, Malik Washington, or Scataboo?
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Half PPR.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Uh do we pick one or two?
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: Uh I'm gonna just go ahead and assume one.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: Assume one, I'm going a dunze.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: Well, they play tomorrow night, by the way.
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: So just so you know.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: I mean go Dunze.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, after what happened with Scataboo last week, um, I know they got rid of Najee Harris.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: That's one thing, but they still got other white running backs on that squad.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I'm gonna reluctantly say Adunze, man.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, yeah, I think it's a I think it's a clean sweep for Odunze.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: You can't start Scat right now.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Malik, it's so weird that Rome runs the most routes for the Bears, but gets the least amount of targets.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: He's kind of like the cardio king, but he's on the field, he's on a good offense.
- 26:00SPEAKER_02: I feel like he's probably due.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: So yeah, go ahead and roll with him.
- 26:04SPEAKER_02: All right, moving on.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: Um, what do we have?
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: So, of course, now we discussed you want Malik neighbors for the rest of the season.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: You also discussed about you know wanting a struggling stud and then trading him away for two dependable starters.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: The last thing, just again, to wrap a bow on it.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: Somebody once told me, you know, I'd rather have a dollar than four quarters.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: And having two players is like having two, you know, four quarters in a way.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: I think I'd rather just have the dollar bill in this case, unless you're really struggling or hurting, you're like one in five right now, and you really need to make something happen.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: I would I'd rather just have the one dollar in this case.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: So, Nico, you say, would you rather spend big on a waiver pickup or save your fab budget?
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: What are you saving it for?
- 26:49SPEAKER_02: Like, you can't bring it home with you.
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: And I get asked this question a lot for like Tuesday night waiver wires, like how much fab would you spend?
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: And the most important thing is I believe you need to know your league size, you need to know point scoring and how aggressive your league mates are normally active when it comes to the waiver wire.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: So, for example, if you're in a 14-team double flex where depth matters and you need a you need a player, you have to spend the fab to get the guy.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: But if you're in like a 12-team or 10-team league with standard size benchings, benches, like yeah, you could probably get away with getting like an Oli Gordon for like you know 15 to 20 fab.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: But in some of those deeper leagues where the waiver wire is so much thinner, you're probably gonna have to spend up to 25-35 percent of your fab, depending on kind of where you're at, if you're picking him up to stash him, or if you're picking him up because you need to start him because you had Devon A-Chain or something like that.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: So, I guess where I'm getting at, there's there's no cookie cutter answer.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: I feel it's very case by case depending on your team needs, how desperate you might be, um, and things like that.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: My biggest advice when it comes to fab and waiver wire is try to identify the value the week before.
- 28:00SPEAKER_02: Like if you see that someone's usage is really strong the week before, but maybe it didn't show on the field, instead of getting them for 20 on your waiver wire the next week, maybe get them for like four percent uh the week before.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: So just keep tabs on usage, snap report, route report, stuff like that.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: We saw it with Jeremy Bernard, or or better yet, better yet, you follow us at FF Space Pod on Twitter, uh, on X or Twitter, whichever one you want to call it, where we post our weekly, very detailed, comprehensive image where you could see exactly who you should be picking up on the week before and that week, a lot of the times we start noticing our trends and we make a list and say, Oh, increased usage, increased target share, snap counts, percentages, and all that.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, from there you can kind of be a week or two ahead of the curve to make sure you're not spending 25-30 percent of your fab budget.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: That being said, that uh uh to top it off as well and to add on, I'm in a couple fab leagues over the years, and I can't tell you the amount of times I ended the season with still like 50% of my fab left over.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: And of course, like you said, can't take it with you.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: So at some point, you might as well use it.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: I could have probably upgraded some players or positions with the fab that I decided to be stingy on.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: So at this point, I'm kind of being a lot more aggressive this year with my fab spending, and I mean, um, I I think I have a positive win-loss ratio on almost every single one of my league, minus best ball.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: And you hear the clock, that means that we need to get to news and notes, everybody, for week seven.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: All righty.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: So let's hit the news and notes button.
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: NFL headlines.
- 29:56SPEAKER_02: Let's get into it.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Uh, news and notes for the week.
- 29:58SPEAKER_02: Top headlines.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: Uh Jalen Hurts.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: Um, wish you the best, man.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: Uh, speedy recovery.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: He needs blood thinners uh for at least three months, uh, possibly up to six months, um, due to blood clots that started in his calf and worked up to his lungs.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Uh Tanner McKee is slated to be the QB1 uh for what is likely the rest of the season, unless the Eagles decide to bring someone else in.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: Uh Josh Jacobs, welcome back.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: Uh, his status is up in the air for week seven, uh, but he was removed from the commissioners' exempt list on Monday uh due to his legal allegations.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: Josh Jacobs.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: We'll keep it fantasy focused, but um, obviously Josh Jacobs and that Packers running game, they definitely need a spark.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: So um it will dive more into that later.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: Uh Terry McLaurin, um, you know, safe healing, uh quick healing, suffers a season-ending knee injury uh that happened on Monday Night Football, 31 years old, potentially the career.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: We'll see.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: Uh Giants are starting uh JJ McCarthy at quarterback in week seven.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: Uh I mean it's it's the most Minnesota thing in the world to just have him be an absolute superstar now, but we'll see.
- 31:18SPEAKER_02: Uh Jonah Coleman's practice window uh has opened after his IR stint.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: Double check your waiver wires, make sure Jonah Coleman's not out there.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: Lamar Jackson remains sidelined due to his ankle injury.
- 31:29SPEAKER_02: Uh Devontae Adams uh expected to miss six to ten weeks uh with a hamstring tear and is placed on the IR.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: Uh kind of funny how he tore it and he walked off the field, and Caleb Williams had like a grade one and limped, but anywho.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: Um Rasheed Rice still dealing with a hamstring injury, still did not practice Wednesday.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: Uh Brees Hall still dealing with a quad injury and did not practice Wednesday.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Jordan Mason, uh running back for the Vikings, um, is set to practice after he's eligible to come back off the IR this week.
- 32:02SPEAKER_02: And then Tyler Warren, who was a late scratch uh Sunday morning, um, not practicing to start the week.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: He's got a really tough matchup against my Vikings, um, who are elite against the tight end position.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: And then just some really quick takeaways.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: Uh, for those of you that you have Cam Scattaboo, uh, wish you the best.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: Uh, his role is in question.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: Giants did cut Najee Harris, uh, but Cam Scadaboo did appear to take a lot of the first team reps today in practice, but can't start him right now.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: Keep tabs on kind of how that goes.
- 32:35SPEAKER_02: Travis Hunter's usage uh increased.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: He saw four catches on four targets for 59 yards and a tug uh last week, with Brian Thomas Jr.
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: basically fading away into nothing.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: Travis Hunter, definitely someone to keep your eye on.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, we talked about Jeremy Bernard and his breakout performance last week, and then lastly, CJ Stroud in that offense is firing on all cylinders, and it's only gonna get even better with Natter's boy Tank Dell set to return.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: And as we discussed, and as we discussed last week, they added Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: So, guys, obviously that was a lot.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: Um, any quick nugget, any quick thought uh that you want to share with the audience?
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: Tip will let you do it.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those those last four before the week six takeaways were Rasheed Rice, Brees Hall, Jordan Mason, um, Tyler Warren.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Um specifically Tyler Warren, Brees Hall, and Rasheed Rice.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: This is not good.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, when you're not practicing at the start of the week, especially um, at least a limited practice.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Some of these guys, you you gotta understand, they are veterans, they get that Wednesday off.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: Um, but man, tomorrow, Friday, please keep an eye out on these guys, specifically Rashi Rice, because he just got off a bye week uh not too the week before.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: And usually those bye weeks, they use that time for the players to heal.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: He didn't come back and play last week.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Uh, this is not good, so I'm concerned about those guys.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: Anything for you, Netter?
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: I'm super excited to see Tank Dale take the field.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: God, that's gonna be a great watch.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: Very happy for him.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, I'm a little dis and I'm not gonna say disappointed they got Marvin Harrison and might overshadow him, but they should be a phenomenal combo.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: I think the biggest thing for me is CJ Stroud score.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: Uh no, I think he plays like 10 snaps.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: I think the biggest thing for me is CJ Stroud is just he's got the chance to go to the moon, he's been playing great ball.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Uh, but the biggest thing for me is Jonah Coleman, his roster rate is down to 38%.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: Uh, I would make sure that um you double check your waiver wires and make sure um he's not available.
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: It's very possible that you know he gets a lot of looks towards the end of the year.
- 34:53SPEAKER_02: The Broncos running back game has been pretty uh mid, as the kids say.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: So um, but anyways, we got uh some starts and sits to get to.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: Um, so I say let's let's hop right into it, gentlemen.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: Start and sits of the week.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: And of course, you know, we're gonna go around the horn giving our starts and sits, or the reverse clock, I should say, because Nico actually no, it is a clock, it like it goes this way, it doesn't go this way, it goes anyway.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: Nico, you're up first.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: Who are you starting for the week's?
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: Well, I gotta make it up to the audience because I came on this live show last week and I told y'all to start Cam Scataboo.
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: How'd that go?
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: Y'all win?
- 35:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I listen, I have no shares of Cam Scadaboo.
- 35:50SPEAKER_02: I just I really liked the matchup.
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: Um, I apologize for those of you that did listen.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: Obviously, the reports surfaced on Sunday morning that he was gonna essentially get benched, so that would have changed my tune, but I owe y'all a start, and I'm gonna go with uh oh man, this one's I was gonna go with Jordan Love, but someone might have a Packer a little later.
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna pivot and I'm gonna go to CJ Stroud, uh, who we were just talking about with Tank Dell coming back.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: Uh Stroud has been absolutely cooking.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: He's the QB9 on the season, finished uh top five at the position twice in the last three weeks.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: He just added his college BFF, uh Marvin Harrison Jr., Tank Dell, like we said, Jalen Noel, who's looked really sharp.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Wait, why are we booing that?
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: Because we Ohio State, Michigan, ill.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I mean, I don't have any ties to that.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying they got chemistry, dude.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: That's all I'm saying.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Um, but, anyways, like the Texas run game is the Texans run game, it's terrible.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: The offense is turning into more of an aerial attack.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: Woody Marks, David Montgomery haven't beginning anything cooking on the ground.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: Um, and Stroud is gonna be the primary beneficiary of that.
- 37:06SPEAKER_02: He's 11th in EPA per drop back, seventh in completion percentage over expectation, eighth in yards per attempt, and he's very involved in the red zone where you get fantasy points, fourth in the NFL in end zone pass attempts in the red.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: You know, I just feel that there's been a lot of hate towards CJ Stroud.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: He's got a really solid matchup uh this week against the uh Giants, who definitely have allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: If you have Stroud this week, fire him up, and he's an absolute must-start in super flex formats.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, you know, I'm a big fan of CJ Stroud.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna lie.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: I feel like I'm disappointed.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: I'm uh it's not I feel like I did.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: I am disappointed that he's been struggling the past year or so.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: So, you know what?
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: I'm really rooting for him.
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: Really glad that they got some weapons around him, and you know what?
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: You have to have weapons around you in order to succeed, and they're finally doing something about it.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: So, you know what?
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: I'm fully on board with Stroud being the start of the week.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: Now, for tip, you have any uh or do you disagree?
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: No, no, I like Stroud.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: I I I matter of fact, whenever he got Marvin Harrison Jr., I'm still kind of iffy on him, uh, but I thought it was a a decent ad for CJ Stroud, gives him another downfield target.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: You know, he likes to throw the belt the ball downfield.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Now Tank Dell's gonna be coming back, it's gonna take some time, like you like we talked about, but I I like him, man.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: And he's getting the ball out of his hands quickly.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Um, he's got better, actually got better numbers than what he did when he was a rookie right now.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: So I mean, yeah, I'm I'm all good with CJ Stroud, man.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: Now, tip, unfortunately, um, I was I was right the first time.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: It's like a reverse clock.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: You're up next.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: So I don't like the pick.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you stole it by the you I feel like you kind of almost have to change it.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: This guy's my guy.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: You don't like my pick, or you like my pick so much?
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: It's he's my I like I claimed him in the start of the year.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: No, you did not early break.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: He did, he did, he did.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: No, well, how did you claim him?
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: I didn't see anything.
- 39:10SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no, no.
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: He's saying like episode what we're on episode 21.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: Like, this was like off season, like he was like, Matthew Golden's gonna break out.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: That's that's what he's flexing on.
- 39:21SPEAKER_02: That's what he's doing.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: No, I was with you on that one, Matter.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: That was probably one of the things that we agree on.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: Um, no, it and it is Matthew Golden.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: What this kid is doing now.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: I understand he had seven drops in his in this year.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: That that's that we gotta we gotta calm these drops down.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: We can't average a drop a game, uh, even more than that.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: But what what I will say that I like is that he's averaging 9.2 targets per game.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: So there is some chemistry there between Jordan Love and uh Matthew Golden.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: And and another thing, too, that I really, really, really, really like is that his fantasy points per game is at 16.7 points.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: That's 14th out of 180 uh wide receivers, that right or 108 wide receivers.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: So that right there tells me that he's getting the ball, he's getting opportunities.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: They're gonna continue to give him opportunities because they got Christian Watson there, yes, but they've got Matthew Golden for a reason.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: They will they be getting Josh Jacobs back this week?
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: We don't know, but I'll tell you what, they're playing against the Detroit Lions, and anybody and everybody has thrown on those Detroit Lions.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, let me tell you, let me tell you what these Detroit Lions have given up to wide receivers.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: They've given up 39.4 uh PPR points to wide receivers.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: That's the second most in this NFL right now.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: And Matthew Golden, Christian Watson, hell, even Bo Melton, he might get something in there uh this week.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm firing on Matthew Golden.
- 40:50SPEAKER_01: Matthew Golden on the report with a shoulder today.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, carrying my fucking fantasy team.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: That's what he's on the report for.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: Him and Parker Washington also called him as well.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: By the way, boys, called him as well.
- 41:01SPEAKER_01: He hit them, he didn't have sore backs the way they just carry my fantasy team all year.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: But of course, my guy actually, I was against this guy all year.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Emeka Abuka.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, I'm not even a big fan of him, but you know what?
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: The problem is, is he just got a juicy matchup this week going against the Carolina Panthers, and it's not even that, it's you know what?
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: He logged 25 targets over the last two games, and he scored more than 17 fantasy points in both of them.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: So, you know what?
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: He established himself a solid floor with an undrafted rookie quarterback.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: You can't really argue with any of this.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: This is solid results with a solid time line.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: And if Baker Mayfield does come back, then you know what?
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: It's almost a cherry on top to the fact that you're putting him in your starting lineup.
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: I feel like you could put this guy in right now with confidence and full send it.
- 41:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I like it.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, Baker is projected, uh, if I'm not mistaken.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: Also, how about our news and notes guy over here forgetting to mention that Baker Mayfield logged a full practice on Wednesday?
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: I feel like it was on there.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: I thought you said that one.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Did I say you said that one?
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: The one I think you forgot was Kalman Nungai is gonna be out this week.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's the one I don't think you said.
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: Hey guys, uh Kalmangay's out tomorrow night.
- 42:16SPEAKER_02: Um, Roshan Johnson, if you need some if you're in a tough spot, Roshan Johnson.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: But no, an adder.
- 42:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, Baker Mayfield uh looking like he's probably gonna come back.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, Buka is he he got some good targets with J-Lon.
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, he had what 16 targets last week, he had nine the week before.
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: It hasn't necessarily turned into great efficiency, um, but he is putting up fantasy points for your team, 14 plus points.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: Carolina, pretty solid matchup, so I do like it.
- 42:45SPEAKER_02: But uh, we gotta hop into our sits for the week, and I'm gonna go first with my guy.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Well, actually, kind of Natter's guy, but uh Travis Kelsey.
- 42:56SPEAKER_02: And I think I think he's looked a lot prettier on the outside than he does under the hood.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: Uh, he will forever be pause.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: Pause.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: Um, for this year, like he will always be ranked as like a low-end tight end one.
- 43:13SPEAKER_02: Uh, but right now he's averaging 12.38 fantasy points per game, but he has a 9.43 expected fantasy point per game output.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: While he's still efficient on a per route basis, he's fourth in yards per route run, he's 18th in routes run per game and 14th in targets.
- 43:30SPEAKER_02: He's only averaging 5.2 targets per game.
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: And if you remove his week two output, where he had 11 targets, every single other game has been under five targets per game.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: He's been getting pretty lucky uh from a yards after carry perspective, surprisingly.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: Like you don't think of Travis Kelsey as someone super slippery and fast, but the Seahawks have been super stiff uh against tight ends, uh, allowing only six point eight fantasy points per game to the position, which is top five.
- 43:59SPEAKER_02: You take Take away McBride's uh 14 point effort in week two.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: They even held uh George Kittle to four point nine um the other week.
- 44:07SPEAKER_02: Uh so for the most part, it's a really tough matchup.
- 44:10SPEAKER_02: I'm not buying what Travis Kelsey's selling.
- 44:13SPEAKER_02: Sit him this week, find an alternative if you can.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, what?
- 44:23SPEAKER_02: Oh, that was new from last week, Natter.
- 44:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, I missed that one.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: No, okay this is gonna be this is this is gonna be Nico next week because I don't know, man.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: He I mean he he's still he's still doing work, bro.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Like he's getting five targets a game, he's 59 yards per game per game uh receiving.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I get it.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: Um the Seattle Seahawks is a tough, it's a tough matchup, and I do think that it's gonna be a big Kenneth Walker week, but Travis Kelsey always just especially on prime time, he has those little peek-aboo games where you're just like, damn, there he goes, got two touchdowns.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, I have him in the league, so if he goes off, so yeah, but I think he's a very safe floor.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: Like if you're looking for four for 50, he's kind of your guy.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: I just I think the upside's like I said, forever low on tight end one.
- 45:07SPEAKER_02: And if there was a week to sit him, uh, I feel like it'd be this week.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: But I like your sit and I want to hear why.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um my sit is Josh Downs, guys.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: And you know, when it look and looking back at Josh Downs, you know, from from a uh from a efficiency standpoint, I I I gotta say uh he he's got some really good metrics.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: Um his separation score, he's getting separation, he's two uh he's uh excuse me, second out of 109 uh wide receivers there.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Uh he's getting the opportunity at six uh six six targets per game.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: But this is what's killing him is the production.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: He's only averaging 8.93 fantasy points per game.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: And this one, too, is another one.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: He's got no touchdowns on the season.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, he doesn't, he's not, he's not being looked at in the red zone at all.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: Uh, this team is struggling from an offensive standpoint as well.
- 46:05SPEAKER_00: Dan Jones is struggling, struggling to get him the ball.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: Uh, you got Deion Butler also getting opportunities in the uh taken away from Josh Downs as well.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: I I gotta say, man, I'm just really nervous about a lot of people were thinking he was gonna get this opportunity because Alec Pierce was out and he hasn't really done much with it.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, he's gotten some targets, yeah.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: You know, he he's done some things nice here and there, but he's also not really doing anything for you in fantasy.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: And this week, I don't think he's gonna do much for you at all either.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, I can't argue with this.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's Josh Downs, he's not good.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: I you know, I just feel like whoever said he was good, he is good, it's just we were turning in anything.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we were we were warned, we were warned, like we've been warned, and then now people, you know, they they were trying to get on the wind wagging with them, especially like I said, with the Pierce thing, and it's just he's not that type that type of guy.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: He's just not that guy.
- 47:11SPEAKER_01: Let's just say it that way, he's just not that guy.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: Just say it with your chest.
- 47:15SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, I'm gonna go with Tony Pollard for my sit, and you know you could talk about efficiency, you could talk about the team, you could talk about the scheme, but right now, when Tony Pollard touches the ball, he averages less than like half a fantasy point per touch.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: If you do the math on it, I saw that statistic out earlier, and he's dead last among all running backs that have had at least 50 touches.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: Dead last.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: It's not even like close last, he's dead last.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: And now you're pairing it with a bad team, and they're going against the Browns.
- 47:49SPEAKER_01: Surprisingly, Browns are four and two, so it's not like the Texans are tight, not Texans, the Titans are gonna have a favorable game strip.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: No, they might get scripted out of the run game very early.
- 47:58SPEAKER_01: We don't even know how that's gonna go anymore.
- 48:00SPEAKER_01: We used to say the Browns are a slam dunk matchup for running backs.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: Now it's like, okay, you know, you don't know, they have a good defense.
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: So right now, Tony Pollard, he was already a fringe flex.
- 48:11SPEAKER_01: I think at this point, you got to substitute him out.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: I think I think I'd rather put a tight end.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: You I'd rather put a tight end in my flex spot than Tony Pollard right now.
- 48:19SPEAKER_01: That's how bad it is.
- 48:21SPEAKER_01: Coming from you, that's yeah, you know I hate tight ends.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: That's something, man.
- 48:25SPEAKER_02: You must have seen my uh tweet earlier today about him.
- 48:28SPEAKER_02: Um, we got a we got a couple questions in the chat uh that we want to get to uh before we hop into our uh picks of the week.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: Uh so we got big blowing.
- 48:38SPEAKER_02: He's they're back, they're back.
- 48:42SPEAKER_02: Um, let's see.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: Would you trade?
- 48:45SPEAKER_02: I put it up on the screen.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: Uh, would you trade Justin Jefferson and Travis ETN for Jonathan Taylor and Rasheed Rice?
- 48:55SPEAKER_02: I have Garrett Wilson, I'm a well, it could be Michael.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: Point being, they have one of the Wilsons, Matthew Golden, Diggs, Swift.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: Uh, I'm assuming Jalen Warren, because we're talking about running backs here, and Omarion Hampton.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a good thing.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the Taylor and Rice.
- 49:13SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the Taylor and Rice side.
- 49:15SPEAKER_02: If we're just looking at JJ and ETN versus Taylor and Rice, uh, gimme Taylor and Rice.
- 49:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, you're getting a top, you know, five, six running back plus Rasheed Rice.
- 49:25SPEAKER_02: Yes, it's a level down from Justin Jefferson, but uh ETN, I don't think much of him.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: The Saints offensive line has been struggling significantly.
- 49:34SPEAKER_02: Uh, take the high end RB here um and move on.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, totally agree.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: Rice and Taylor, smash, no questions asked.
- 49:44SPEAKER_00: Rice and yeah, and and the way Kyler Murray's yeah, it's not looking like it'll be great for Justin Jefferson either.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: The ETN one is interesting because I think that he could have a better second half of the season once he gets healthy because that passing game's working, it's just the running game needs to you know it needs to help with the passing game, but I think the passing game, how good it's working, can possibly help with the running game.
- 50:10SPEAKER_00: And what I mean by that is getting more touchdown opportunities, more opportunities near the goal line.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: Um so that ETF, but you're already gonna get that you're oh okay, it is Garrett Wilson, but you're getting Jonathan Taylor and you're getting Rice, even though he's banged up, he's gonna end up coming back at least one.
- 50:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you really think about it, if you really think about it, like with Rasheed Rice and Jonathan Taylor, that's a really solid lineup.
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: Like he should make a playoff run with the lineup right there.
- 50:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:36SPEAKER_00: Especially with the Garrett Wilson.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: Yep, yeah, yeah.
- 50:39SPEAKER_02: All right, let's get to the second question.
- 50:40SPEAKER_02: Uh, so we have time for our uh picked picks of the week.
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: Um, Stone.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: That's it, nothing, nothing more.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: Uh Stone asks, What team would you pick to lose this week?
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: Reverse Survivor Pool.
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: That's interesting.
- 50:56SPEAKER_02: Can you just pick the dolphins every week?
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: No, that's not how Survivor Pools.
- 51:00SPEAKER_02: No, it's a reverse.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: So instead of picking the team to win, yeah, and if they lose, you're essentially chopped.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: You're essentially picking a team to lose.
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, obviously, we don't know who they've already picked.
- 51:14SPEAKER_02: Um, I guess we can pull up the schedule of so he's thinking so Stone.
- 51:19SPEAKER_02: So basically, who's gonna lose the Colts?
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's thinking Colts and Vikings.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: Um, like picking the Colts to lose.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't the Vikings.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wouldn't I wouldn't pick.
- 51:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, sorry, Nico, but I would no, I wouldn't either.
- 51:34SPEAKER_01: Not off a bye, like we're chilling, dude.
- 51:36SPEAKER_02: I would not pick the team each came.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: Well, he's thinking he's thinking Colts versus Vikings, and they play each other, so he's thinking, I guess, Colts.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: Um, I I would I would go Miami.
- 51:49SPEAKER_01: I uh the Chargers, I would go with the you want a hot take?
- 51:53SPEAKER_01: You want a hot take?
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: I would go the Niners.
- 51:57SPEAKER_00: No, not against Atlanta.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: No, uh I I'm personally not in any survivors.
- 52:03SPEAKER_02: I probably need to get into some.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: Um, but I do feel like you want to try to save the most obvious ones for last.
- 52:09SPEAKER_02: So, like, you know, picking like a sharp one, like you know, this does feel like a Falcons plus three kind of game to me.
- 52:16SPEAKER_02: Uh, so I could see the Niners.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: Um, I think you can you can you can't go wrong with picking.
- 52:22SPEAKER_02: Um I was just looking through this.
- 52:24SPEAKER_02: Uh sorry.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: I would I would say what about Cleveland?
- 52:27SPEAKER_00: Cardinals.
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: Um, I would say what about Cleveland?
- 52:31SPEAKER_02: I don't think Cleveland loses to the Titan.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: I think the easy pick for survive in advance this week is Giants.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: They're starting JJ McCarthy.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Texans are at the end.
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: I would say Giants.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 52:44SPEAKER_01: You want a really easy one?
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: Pick the Raiders.
- 52:46SPEAKER_01: Giants are gonna happen.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, you need to stop.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: You need to stop.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's an interesting one.
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: I've never, I've never I've never done a reversed um uh survivor like that.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: I've done um I've done you know regular survivors.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: That's interesting.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: That's interesting.
- 53:02SPEAKER_01: That's a good one.
- 53:02SPEAKER_01: I like that one.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: That's a good question right there.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: But alright.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: So, you know what?
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: We got that over with.
- 53:07SPEAKER_01: We got the sits, we got the starts, but now we get to gamble a little bit, baby, with the pickets.
- 53:19SPEAKER_01: The pickets, the pickets.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go ahead and bring up, I'm gonna go ahead and bring up the results right now to the stage.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, but mine doesn't count, does it?
- 53:27SPEAKER_00: Well, yours is under Kelly, so okay, so it counts.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: We'll figure out what we're gonna do with that.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: No, no, we're gonna that's an asterisk.
- 53:34SPEAKER_00: Um, but we're gonna go through week week six.
- 53:38SPEAKER_00: Week six, Nico.
- 53:39SPEAKER_00: You got yours right again.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: I believe you had um George Kittle over under 55 and a half yards.
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: Uh George Kittle over 59 and a half yards.
- 53:50SPEAKER_02: I think he finished with like 66 or 67.
- 53:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, dude.
- 53:53SPEAKER_02: He went right over.
- 53:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, me on the other hand.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: I'm uh I'm I'm I'm a I'm super right now.
- 54:01SPEAKER_00: Um, I had Michael Wilson going, um, it was 59 and a half, and I think he got like 43.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: He had no one that took note of it.
- 54:15SPEAKER_01: Like, he was asking me.
- 54:16SPEAKER_00: Well, because when I looked at the when I looked, this is what it happened.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: When I looked and saw he didn't, he didn't he didn't make the mark, I just was like, well, fuck it.
- 54:24SPEAKER_01: I don't care anymore.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't even look at the number, and I just saw it.
- 54:27SPEAKER_00: I was just I didn't know I knew, yeah, I was I was mad.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: I was a little soft.
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: He's easy.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: That'd be so much.
- 54:33SPEAKER_02: Dude, I love how James always comes on here and just deposits like millions of picks on here.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: I I know and I always tell him pick the under on every single one of them.
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: At this point, I wish he would like take notes.
- 54:45SPEAKER_02: No, you'd better not write it on your own switch.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: James and I James and I get after it a little bit on Twitter sharing picks.
- 54:51SPEAKER_02: So, um, or you can just download picket and follow all your friends where you can see what plays they're on, use the app to line shop, uh, get the best value based on the book that you have.
- 55:03SPEAKER_02: Track all your bets, be a smart better.
- 55:05SPEAKER_02: Um, so that's my plug for picket, but I'm gonna go into my pick uh of the week, and I'm gonna try my best uh to stay undefeated here.
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm gonna go with Jordan Love over 274 and a half passing yards.
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: I wanted to pick him as my start of the week, but I didn't want to go back-to-back Packers for our starts of the week.
- 55:28SPEAKER_02: We wanted to uh provide our audience with a little bit of flavor, uh, mix it up, but I cannot pass this up for my picket pick of the week.
- 55:35SPEAKER_02: Detroit has allowed the fourth most passing yards and the most fantasy points per game to the position.
- 55:41SPEAKER_02: It's an indoor game, 54 and a half point total.
- 55:44SPEAKER_02: Uh, packers cannot run the ball.
- 55:46SPEAKER_02: I don't care that Josh Jacobs may or may not be back, he's not gonna be at full strength right away.
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: Um I just feel like this is gonna be an absolute shootout.
- 55:55SPEAKER_02: Matthew Golden's been cooking, Christian Watson's been cooking.
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: Uh Tucker Kraft has been seeing seven, eight targets a game.
- 56:02SPEAKER_02: He's getting involved.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: High scoring game.
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: Give me Jordan Love over 274 and a half passing yards.
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: I think that's a very solid Tippany thing.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: I like that one.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: I think it's uh uh uh I think it's gonna hit again, man.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: I think you you're gonna be I hope so seven for seven, dude.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: Um, so me, I gotta get off the schneid.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: So for me, I I I went I toyed with uh Jeremy Bernard.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: I really did.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: I I I think that he can do it.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: It's a really easy number.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: I think it's like 53 and a half.
- 56:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, but I saw something else I liked even more, and it was Ryan Flornoy, uh, over 32 and a half receiving yards.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: And here's why I think it hits Dak Prescott is averaging in the last four games 45 pass attempts per game, and the Eagles give up the second most points to the slot slot receiver, so that, or excuse me, the most points to the slot receiver.
- 56:56SPEAKER_00: So that in of itself screams Ryan Flornoy, that's where he's been operating.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: It seems to me like look, Ryan Flornoy can get nine targets, uh CeeDee Lamb can get his 15 targets plus, and George Pickens can get 10 plus targets.
- 57:11SPEAKER_00: It seems like the guys who are missing out are the players like Jake Ferguson.
- 57:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, yeah, we saw Brevin Span Ford uh get some pass catches last week, but it seems like he's trying to utilize his wide receivers a little bit more and get them in space.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: So I think that that happens with Ryan Flornoy this week.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: You and your dude, he's been solid.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he has been solid actually.
- 57:34SPEAKER_01: Every single time he gets a catch, I think of that.
- 57:36SPEAKER_01: But go ahead.
- 57:37SPEAKER_02: Just so you know, I'll give you 29 and a half.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: I'm seeing 29 and a half on a lot of my you see that one, yeah.
- 57:44SPEAKER_02: For Flornoy, I'm seeing 29 and a half.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: So I'll give you a couple yards here.
- 57:49SPEAKER_02: Um, okay, just because I pulled up Pickett, and like 31 and a half is like minus 178, but like 29 and a half, I'm seeing a lot of minus 140s on my book.
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: So I'll give you that one.
- 58:03SPEAKER_02: I'll give you I'll give you 29 and a half.
- 58:06SPEAKER_00: What what's wait?
- 58:07SPEAKER_00: Well, okay, okay.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: 29 and a half.
- 58:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, all right, we'll take it.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: We'll take it.
- 58:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course you'll take it.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember uh, of course, you know, Tip talking about Ryan Flornoy during the off-season redraft season, and you're like, Man, ADP of 214, Ryan Florinoy.
- 58:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, you did, yeah.
- 58:25SPEAKER_01: See how many people playing deep leagues, man.
- 58:28SPEAKER_01: Anyway, my guy, it's probably gonna be actually it's not probably, it is going to be Drake May.
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: Wow, he's that exactly.
- 58:37SPEAKER_01: So 249 and a half passing yards, I think.
- 58:41SPEAKER_01: Against the Bears, it's gonna be a high-flying game where they're gonna be airing the ball out, and the Patriots are just gonna have to keep up and catch up with this offense that they're going against.
- 58:50SPEAKER_01: So making it so he should have an easy time racking up past 250, especially if AJ Brown plays those deep ball connections.
- 59:00SPEAKER_01: He had 10 targets, only three receptions for that combo.
- 59:03SPEAKER_01: I expect that to be around the 10 targets to about six to seven six uh receptions, making so it's easier for him to rack up those passing yards.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: So 249 and a half smash over.
- 59:18SPEAKER_02: All right, all right, all right.
- 59:19SPEAKER_02: You heard it.
- 59:20SPEAKER_02: You heard it there.
- 59:21SPEAKER_02: You have it.
- 59:22SPEAKER_02: I listen, I'm gonna well, you're going Thursday night, huh?
- 59:27SPEAKER_02: You're going Thursday night.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: Tip tried.
- 59:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I learned my lesson on that.
- 59:30SPEAKER_00: I learned my lesson on that shit.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: I I tried it, I think week two.
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: I think it was.
- 59:34SPEAKER_00: I was like, no, yeah, Laporta, La Puerta.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was Laporta.
- 59:38SPEAKER_01: That's your fault.
- 59:38SPEAKER_01: That's Tip's fault.
- 59:39SPEAKER_01: Like, he went against Laporta, dude.
- 59:41SPEAKER_02: I locked in AJ Brown over four and a half receptions like two days ago, and I love that play.
- 59:49SPEAKER_02: I considered it as my pick of the week.
- 59:52SPEAKER_02: Is it still?
- 59:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, it's minus 167 now.
- 59:56SPEAKER_02: I got it at like minus 135.
- 59:58SPEAKER_02: So if you're sports betting and you're betting overs, I would definitely recommend betting them earlier in the week when lines come out rather than leading up until kickoff because usually lines do move, they are subject to change.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_02: Um, but anyways, I like all the picks, boys.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: I really do.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_02: So I got a question.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_02: I got I might have an answer.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: Can you rescend a pick if the line changes to something you don't like anymore?
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, you'll basically get pennies on the dollar.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_02: So, for example, if you place a bet that you know is what minus 130 and it ends up moving to say minus 110 or even money, like you can cash out for a portion of the wager that you put in.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_02: Um, but if you but if it moves like in the direction of in your favor, you still can cash out for a portion of it, but it's never like more than what your wager originally was.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_01: So if it goes from like 140 to 160, you can't just cash out and be like I just made yeah, you can't.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_02: So, like, say you put five bucks on it, you know, it's not like you can cash out like 550.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, maybe some sports books do.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm in Minnesota, so I use all the prediction markets and like your Novigs, your Calci, Onyx odds, stuff like that.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_02: So it might be different for you know your fan duels and DraftKings out there and stuff like that, but um, you at least can't do that on the sports prediction books.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_01: But alrighty, so you know what?
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Of course, we're gonna have to start wrapping up the episode fairly soon.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: And I feel like an idiot because the whole episode, I completely forgot to, of course, shout us all out because we are live on YouTube every Wednesday, 9 p.m.

- 1:02:03SPEAKER_01: And of course, I will always enjoy it.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_01: But of course, you're gonna want to smash the subscribe button on any type of podcasting or YouTube platform, whether it's X, YouTube, Spotify, uh, Instagram, all that good stuff, any type of social media to make sure you are locked and dialed in as the season goes on, whether it's the pre-analysis waiver wire picks where we start discussing people you're gonna want to pick up that are going to have roles later on in the season, or the normal waiver wire picks, the starts and sits, or any type of questionnaire that you may have.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_01: We could always answer it down below or on X is probably the easiest way to reach out to us.

- 1:02:57SPEAKER_00: I just like it's on there just in case it's on there again.

- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: But other than that, boys, do you have any closing statements?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_02: Uh no, appreciate all of you again.

- 1:03:44SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_00: And and and we'll continue the the week seven questions.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm thinking about doing a midweek one as well, guys.

- 1:04:01SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_01: Good luck, everybody.
