- 1:56[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, my name is Ty Rose in the tape.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_05]: I've got to see the tape to really see what it looks like.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_06]: But then I'll see a close-term film.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_06]: The things that we saw on tape,
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you look the same on tape.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_04]: Get better from the tape, but I hope you're hoping that's a good film on those guys.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_04]: And we'll get to those soon as we get on the plane.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_03]: If the 49ers coaches and players have to watch the tape, what do you think you need to do?
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: Well, guess what?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_03]: We got the tape.

- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: Guess what?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: The 49ers rush.com is the place to go.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_03]: How about that?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like that?
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: Very sharp.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's we work over here.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you what you guys are hustling guys are hustling There's a lot of references to film there a lot of tape a lot of I can remember many of those Pressors that's almost it's almost as repetitive as would have been funnier if you had like a mic single Terry I need
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: I got to check the film, I got to check the film, I got to check the film, I got to check the film, I got to, that was his cover all.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: That was almost like Nick Sornson with his communication breakdown, man.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Nick, what happened on that play communication breakdown?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: Nick, what happened on this plate?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: Communication breakdown.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, uh, and then, you know, towards the end of the year, dude, I mean, it's like, hey, Nick, other than a communication breakdown, what happened on this plate?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um, well, I mean, I could get into a couple of things, but it really is as simple as a communication breakdown.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: It was killing me.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's killing me.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's killing me.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: They got their default like answer like this to get me out of throwing somebody under the bus or whatever else and it's just like the, you know, you put out the politician words salad sometimes.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_03]: But man, it's huge.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_03]: And it is funny because like, you know, I go to almost every single game and you're there.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_03]: And like I get a lot of these like instant man, what do you think of this?
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think of that?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_03]: Got to see the tape so like that's kind of my default to but once you go through the coaches tape Then it's just like it's crystal clear.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_03]: You see it all and you're like, oh, yeah.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: This was good.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: This was bad.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is why this is not So yeah, for coaches that's what it is.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: That's why you watch all the film.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you do You know before we get rolling tonight, I do have to apologize to the audience because I am known to run a little bit behind but tonight
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I had changed the time to 730 because the radio, I was coming on after the warrior game, the warrior game got rescheduled, pushed back a little bit.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so I was on the radio between 7 and 730.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: I had John and I starting at 715.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I had changed it in stream yard or communicated to somebody and I really had not.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I do apologize.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: I value your guys' time, so there are people that were sitting here for 15-20 minutes.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: Waiting for the show and maybe some that took off took off and some of the people in the chatter like crew I'm tired of waiting for you
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: I got this, Larry, where are you at?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I, you know, I seriously, I, I f- and blew this one.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I do apologize.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: I really do.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't take your guys' time for granted.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: If I say I want to start at 730, I should be starting at at least 720.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Or if I'm starting, I'm saying I'm starting at 715, I should be starting by at least 720.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: I believe at the latest.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, instead, uh, we, you know, it's 740 and we're just getting underway.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I do apologize for those of you who've just been sitting around going where that hell's crew.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's always late, but this time he's really late.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: So there you go.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: talking on the radio, chopping it up over there, trying to feel time for the warriors after the fourth quarter in the T. In Minnesota.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I apologize to John, I apologize to you guys because that's not cool and that's not what I, that's not what we want to do.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: But we do, we are glad that John's here.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: We are glad that you guys are all here.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: And obviously the big story of yesterday was that the Niners traded for DeForce Buckner,
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: and the Seahawks traded for Quentin Nelson.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: Now today, some new things came out.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: One story that came out was that the bears were willing to offer more than the Niners offered for DFO, but that Buckner and his family were only willing to go to the Niners.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, you know, the Niners were the team that originally drafted a buck in 2016.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it makes sense that he wanted to go home.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and he what played collegially at Oregon, so maybe he's got, you know, we know he's from Hawaii.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe coming back to the bay was very attractive to him.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: And I guess maybe the bears, you know, Ryan pulls off for more than John Lynch.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, Buckner is a veteran.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know that he's got a, these guys have trade, you know, if they have like a trade clause, I don't think he had a trade clause.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: But I just don't think anybody wants to trade for a veteran player against his will.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: If he's not going to be happy, if he says, hey, look, I want to play for the Niners, polls has to go and tell Dodds, or, you know, Dodds has got a basically tall, tell polls.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, look,
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: you know, buck buck really wants to play in San Francisco.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, we we get trained him to you, but he's going to be he's going to show up with a really bad attitude.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to he's not going to be happy.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_02]: He wants to be in San Francisco.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then if you're polls, you're just going to be like, all right, you shrug and you move on.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_02]: So I think, you know, that potentially happened.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: two weeks until the November 10th NFL Trade Deadline John and Jeremy Fowler, VSPN, reported today that the 49ers have trade interest, and he actually named three players, and he named Brian Thomas Jr. Quentin Johnston, the two receivers, and then Josh Sweat.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: from Arizona, which would surprise a lot of people because sweats in the division, and then ESPN had his article up today where they have trade fits for all the, you know, the top whatever number of free of trade candidates, and they had the Niners with a trade fit for Brian Thomas, Josh Sweat, Quentin Johnson as well, and Chauhan Jennings.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you think, and that's four names over two different ESPN reports, if it came down to one of those four names, if you get one of those four players for the 49ers, what do you want?
- 8:42[SPEAKER_03]: If I could only get one, I would choose Josh sweat, the outside edge pure past rusher that has just been productive everywhere he's been.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_03]: But the indivision trade, how often does that happen?
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: You got to pay a premium if you're going to get them.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_03]: Other teams are interested in Josh sweat as well.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_03]: No doubt about that.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_03]: But I think it clearly highlights the two biggest weaknesses or lack of depth pieces.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_03]: on the 40 Irish roster in X outside wide receiver, um, which Quentin Johnson is, which Brian Thomas Jr. is.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_03]: Joanne Jennings had to do that.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: Here he was not good at it.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_03]: I would X, nay on the Joanne Jennings thing, uh, because you have to have a vertical threat at X.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's a big reason why the run game was completely sacrificed when Joanne Jennings had to fill in for that brand and I uke X role.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: If you don't have a deep threat there,
- 9:30[SPEAKER_03]: doesn't work, teams can crowd the box, take away the run game.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm kind of out on the Joanne Jennings role because you're getting back your F's and your, you know, Z wide receivers.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: Those guys are coming back.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I understand that Mike evidence is coming back as well, but you don't really have the backup X.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_03]: That is the one spot in the wide receiver room.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_03]: That makes the Shanahan offense flow and you can go back to Washington, you know, Houston, Texas with Andre Johnson, Julio and Atlanta, Josh Gordon Cleveland, whenever you have that premier dominant X outside number one wide receiver in the Shanahan offense, everything goes smooth everything does when you don't Things start to chip away and as long as Mike Evans is out there, this offense is going to continue to be great.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_03]: That is the one insurance policy that I think that this roster kind of falls short on.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_03]: And again, back to these two things.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_03]: You need to outside Russia.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_03]: You need another X, Y receiver.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying you have to trade for, you know, Garrett Wilson type.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_03]: I would love that.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_03]: I've traded first in the second round pick in a heart beat.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that the jets could do that financially.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the jets would do that.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: After giving them a huge deal, I know they did for sauce, but eventually you got to keep good players.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: Teams are not giving up X, Y receivers.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody's happy with Quentin Johnson with the drops and lack of consistency But he's a big body six three two hundred plus wide receiver that stretches the field vertical And if you're gonna have time where you miss my heavens, which I think is gonna happen again at some point You've got a bolster that x wide receiver position if they have that 40 hours offence is gonna continue to hum
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: So the answer is, sweat, sweat, sweat, sweat, sweat, yeah, you got to get, you got to get an edged rush or whether it's Clell Mac or Josh sweat.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: I would pay more for sweat, you know, Clell Mac would be the one you're going to.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's younger and you get the comp pick once he leaves.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: You don't get that because Cleo Mac has more than 10 accrued seasons and he's not a quarterback.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: If he signs elsewhere, motion get his a fifth round pick.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think that interests in the equation because the 49ers are now low on draft capital because they traded the fourth.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're getting zero compensation picks this year.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: Think of the last time that happened with the shennyhand lead off and or you know free agency so you're not getting those eight nine picks this year you're down to six already.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: in salary cap space in 2027 and 2028.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_03]: The only team in the NFL to do so.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: Now, they are going to roll forward a very large amount of cap space that they have available now to cover those future year debts.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: But that's going to leave you a little hamstring whenever you're trying to bring in new free agents to bolster some of the guys leaving.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: So I do think the cat matters.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_03]: I think that those numbers matter.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: And you need those draft picks to kind of bolster the roster where they drafted well the past two years if and I don't know if they're realizing this last two draft classes have really brought back a lot of really good results so do you want to give up on some of those picks these are the questions yeah I mean there's a lot you brought up a lot of good points there but yeah I mean I basically agree with you as far as.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: One, I can't really entertain Jennings because I don't think Minnesota's going to trade Jennings, but even if they do, you know, I know he would, he'd, you know, it's better than nothing, but I don't think that's what they need.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Quentin Johnson, I just think has been disappointing.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: To me, he doesn't, he doesn't consistently separate.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: To me, he's big and fast, but his hands are questionable and he doesn't have quickness and quickness, I think, is a key element for a wider
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not crazy about Quentin Johnston never really liked him.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: And Joanne Jennings, I do have great respect for Joanne Jennings, but to me, I don't think that's the answer.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: Brian Thomas Jr. Garrett Wilson, Josh sweat, I mean, these are really intriguing players.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, sweat at 12 sacks last year.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's in the second year of of a four year, 72 million or 76 million dollar deal.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: So he's kind of kind of costly, Garrett Wilson is kind of expensive, too.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a $23 million capit next year.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a $35 million capit in 28.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a $37 million capit in 29.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a big, that's a big,
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: a big, you know, amount of cake to cover there, um, and then, you know, Brian Thomas is someone who's rookie deal, um, you know, it's interesting, as far as listening to some of the trade talk today or trade scuttal, this is what I heard, basically Kansas City badly wants a wide receiver, supposedly they're in on, on Brian Thomas.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: Seattle, they say, is still looking for both a running back in an edge rusher.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: They were linked to Yaya Diabe and a lot of people have talked about Saquan Parkley, Johnny Taylor, but I've heard more like it might be a Taijie Spears edition for them at running back.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't necessarily mean to move the needle, but they do have, you know, they do have Jeterian price coming back and that should help quite a bit.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: They say the Rams want a speedy receiver in May, James Gladstone, you know, as Jacksonville's GM was former Ram front office guy, could they get in on Brian Thomas?
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think they could, does that make the Niners?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: More eager to get Thomas from what I'm reading, Jacksonville's likely to trade Brian Thomas Jr.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, he was benched in week six, and he has not really done much Minnesota.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: They're saying may change trade Jennings Arizona is looking to trade Josh sweat.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: Supposedly Dallas is hot on the on the trail of sweat.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um,
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: Andy Josh Downs reiterated today that he wants out.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: There's also Grover Stewart, Keenan Allen.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: I could see Andy being more active Tennessee.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to trade Tony Pollard and then there's the Eagles.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: So they're going to move some of their guys.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: Moro Joe Mo Hollywood Brown.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: Dallas Gaudert, Rick Wollin.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of the speculation is that right there.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: Niners did make a move today.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: They created roster spot four to four Spucker by cutting releasing Jack Jones.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: That just had to happen.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I mean, I we talked about it the last couple days.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: He just had to go.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: He was just he was being targeted 30% of the time.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: He was in the game.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: He was just getting crushed given a big plays.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't know what the deal was, but Jones just had to go.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't think there's any question about that.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: All he did was grab and it wasn't even like illegal contact.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: He was pulling jerseys because he couldn't stay in phase at any point.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_03]: And so you then you add on to that.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_03]: He had some bad special teams plays and kind of quit on one of the specialty and like he just stopped.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_03]: And so I think the 49ers kind of proved a point like look.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_03]: you're not safe.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_03]: That was our number three outside corner that was getting playing time every single week since week one time to move on.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: And so like I do like that that was established.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: I'm curious to see does Ephesians price out just slide into that role.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_03]: He's been awesome on special teams.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: He has all of the traits you'd ever dream of or his name Hobbs going to be one of those guys that
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: is ready to come off IR and contribute as well.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: So here is to see how it's going to shake out and practice and what that looks like.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_03]: But the Niners needed to do something to shake things up.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I do hold the defense fully accountable for that loss.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Michael pinnicks was just named NSC offensive player the week, what the hell?
- 17:19[SPEAKER_03]: If your defense allows that to happen, something needs to change, that shake up.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm curious to see how the locker room and the players are going to respond to that.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: There was no, they got no pressure.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, Michael Penex's numbers were 78% if you don't pressure him.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't pressure him.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: He completed 73%.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, it's like, they knew what they were going to get.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: If you pressure him, he completes 31%.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: But they couldn't get any pressure in that game.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we got the ball out.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Stephanski had a good plan.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give Stephanski that.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: Very good.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: If the Niners, you know, my other complaint would be, you know, where heems coverage was too soft.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: They would give up too much room.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: There was too much space.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: When they flipped it to the flat and got the ball out quick, you know, your front and your coverage was we're not tied together.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: And when you're front in your coverage is not tied together, it's hard to speed up the quarterback.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then it's hard to speed up the quarterback when he's, you know, three step drop and getting it out, he's kind of playing at his own pace.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: And then you're the Niners didn't keep pace with him.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: And they gave up, you know, every single time he threw it to the flat.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: the guy had time to gather and think about it.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: And there was too much space there.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there, where was the safety?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: Where was the linebacker flying over there ready to put a lick on the guy in the flat?
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: It just, they were so reactionary in the way they reacted to the past and the flat.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: It was like they couldn't imagine.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: They were gonna get that.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, why would that have surprised
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the 49ers, when you saw what had happened the week before, the week before Chicago blitzed, pennies, 56% of the time and took them to the ground five times.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: You knew that they were going to come out in this game and get rid of the ball quick.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: You knew in this game, they were going to try to neutralize that blitz pressure by getting the ball out of his hand and the Niners acted every single time like they were shocked by it.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that was a eye opener, I mean,
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: I love the job that Rhe Morris has done, but last week was a colossal fail.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: The plan was bad.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: And this is like, I talked about this off season.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_03]: I did this show kind of just comparing the difference between Robert Sala and Rhe Morris.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I have used this analogy a lot.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: Rhe Morris is more of a junk ball pitcher.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_03]: and he can have some of his best games against the best quarterbacks and best offense of playcolors in the NFL.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_03]: What you've seen that with Rahim, but everywhere he has been, even the year with the the Rams were that he was the defensive coordinator that led to the Super Bowl victory.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: You get one or two of these head scratching losses to a poor quarterback and a poor offense is squad, and it just happens, that doesn't happen with Robert solid, right?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_03]: Robert solace teams are always at their best versus poor quarterbacks or young quarterbacks and the non kind of customizable top flight offense of play colors.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_03]: But look at what Robert solace did last year.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_03]: against Matt Stafford, you know, the Seahawks.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_03]: He gets abused.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_03]: And so you do have these two DCs, but this is a Reemore staple sadly, where...
- 20:23[SPEAKER_03]: first six weeks of the season, he's been incredible.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_03]: And he writes like, shoot, forgot about Robert Sola.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_03]: This is the flip side where there are one to two games in season against somebody that often struggles or quarterback struggles and all the sudden, you make them look like, I saw a post of a comparing Michael Pinnick's to damn Reno throw in motion.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: I was just like, what the hell are we doing?
- 20:44[SPEAKER_03]: Why would you allow somebody to create that?
- 20:46[SPEAKER_03]: That's how good he was.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: And the thing that upset me the most, Larry,
- 20:51[SPEAKER_03]: The Falcon's just fired for he Morris.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_03]: They just fired him.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: So to come up and lay a stinker against the team that literally fired you, that just gets me a little hot.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 21:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just like, Kali, this is the game that you should have showed out for.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: And it wasn't really, I'd love for him more.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm very thankful that he is the 49er's defensive coordinator.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_03]: But there are some issues there.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_03]: It was just a one game blip because it was a short week.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_03]: East Coast, travel, early kickoff, all the injuries, whatever.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_03]: Made Michael Pinnick's the NFC offensive player the week on the team that fired you.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: My cheeks are red all the time.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: I had a little bit more red, but whatever that happens.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_03]: You're high.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm mad about it.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: You're mad about it.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: Um, good stuff there, by the way, um, there's a lot of smoke around Garrett Wilson.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: K Adams hinted at a possible Niners getting Garrett Wilson, Jozina Anders hinted at it.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: You kind of retweeted a note this on your own X account.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: And and then there was that the Instagram Garrett Wilson thing where what a bunch of Niners communicated with them or at least follow him or he I wasn't picking up the Instagram Did you saw that Instagram thing and with all the nine or nine or players listed there following almost all of them Yeah, he's following all these nine or players.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you what do you mean I mean there was some there was some smoke around the Buckner thing and then all of a sudden it got announced now we're starting to hear some smoke around Garrett Wilson
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: I've heard Nick Wagner said that I didn't think the jets are really even shopping gear wheels and that they're waiting for somebody to kind of screw up like the Colts did last year with saws and give them multiple number ones.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think that's the case or do you think you think he's getable?
- 22:44[SPEAKER_03]: That contract they paid him.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_03]: It's been like he's signed through 20 30, so it's not even a four year deal.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's a six year deal because it was on the extension of the fifth year option.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: So he is locked up for a very long time.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_03]: He's on the billboard.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_03]: He's on the stadium.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like whenever you're going to met life on game days, like he is the premier player on that franchise.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: That makes it hard.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_03]: The jet stew dump things.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like jet, jet, jet, jet, jet.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's going to jet.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what I go back to.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like I understand this from a 49er's perspective.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_03]: I get it.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_03]: I would trade a first in the second round pick and not think twice about it.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_03]: He is that transformative.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: Could play every single wide receiver position.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: His skillset matches perfectly with Brock Pertis.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: It would be unbelievable.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_03]: Four years to come, it would transform the offense.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_03]: It would be great.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_03]: the jets, do they have so much stead money, they're still paying Aaron Rogers, like 30 million a year.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: And if you trade Garrett Wilson, they lose even more money, not only against the cap, but also cash.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's hard to understand why it would happen, but again, I go back to the logic, the jets are the jets.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: If it's there, I'm calling.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: I would pay.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even do more than a first and second.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_03]: He is that good and has been that consistent.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_03]: He, you know, if he was just a slot guy, like he was through the first three years of his college career or NFL career, probably not, but he's transitioned to outside and he has still been unbelievable.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think that he is offensive steam proof, team proof.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: He's that good.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's top 10 wide receiver in his
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: I would trade for that.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: The cap numbers are hard, but for a player like that, he's 26 Larry.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the jets will, even with how dumb they are.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: But if they are, I'm calling and I'm saying, what do I got to do?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: What do I got to do?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: What do I got to do?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: Make it work.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I don't, I think it's going to happen, but it makes no sense for a young team that's looking to build, you know, around a franchise quarterback in the future.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to dump your franchise receiver who's 22 or whatever, to as you're trying to, I mean, you have this great young tight end, Sadik.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, it's like you've got these weapons and you just need that quarterback, seems like they just should be all about getting their quarterback and keep their weapons.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: It would really surprise me if they didn't.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_03]: But I have three firsts in top 11 picks.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's another thing.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a bunch of picks already.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_02]: So why would they, why would they do that?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: The buckner thing is interesting.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to talk more about him in a sec.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know,
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's probably the big name, if I would guess.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: My guess is that John Lynch is going to, you know, Tim Calcami said, I think John Lynch is going to make in two or three trades and bring in two or three different players.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I do think that's what the Niners need.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think they have two or three needs.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what it has to be a top shelf player, but they got Buckner and Buckner's really, really good.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's, I think, number one in the NFL among defensive tackles and sacs.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I'd like the Buckner pick up.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: But let's just say for the sake of the conversation
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: you could add two more players.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: And but they can't be marquee guys.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: You can't be like, well, Max Crosby Garrett Wilson, right?
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's just, I think these next moves have to be more like he-on-white.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: They have to, you have to really prove your worth as a, as a personnel evaluator.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna have to find somebody that doesn't cost as much and fits your situation.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: Who are you going for?
- 26:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's, they really got two or three needs, right?
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: They could definitely use another slot corner, especially with Jack Jones being released to make sure wonder if they're going to either promote Nate Hobbes or do they have a deal worked for, you know, a corner?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: And then there's defensive pass fresher, and then there's wide receiver.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: So if you had to go and bring in, you know, low level guys,
- 26:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, not necessarily, you know, you've decided.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_02]: You're not trading your number one pick.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: But you are gonna add two more players.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_03]: Who do you wanna add?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if I'm going after kind of bargain-pin basement players, and I hate to do that, like I'm not trying to be disrespectful.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at somebody like Hollywood Brown, who is somebody that can play the X and is a vet, and you don't need him to do much.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: We come in and just play tin snaps of game, relieving,
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Mike Evans, and then if Evans goes down, he could see a little bit of an uptick there, but he is somebody that can still stretch the field vertically.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's something that I would like y'all y'all diabe.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_03]: I know you've mentioned him on a lot of shows.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like I want an outside bend rusher that can complement what you already have.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_03]: And so that's two guy stuff on digs.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_03]: I would like digs.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like he's one of the few exceptions.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a true X anymore.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_03]: that space he creates is perfect with Brock Perty.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people talk about Josh Towns.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a little out on Josh Towns because I think his price is going to be too high.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: He is somebody that I cannot see playing the X.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_03]: They tried to do it this year.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_03]: Has not worked out.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_03]: Now I know the quarterback.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_03]: play as an issue in any inapolis and Josh Downs is a good player.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_03]: I just think for the cost, I take step on digs for a fraction of that cost, have them for a year, a little walk.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even a digs guide, but the separation he put on, I mean, he made up the stat look rough in that commander's Niners game.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 28:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's a couple of the ones that I would look into.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_03]: Jalen Noel didn't he just, yeah, he's out.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_03]: He's out, yeah, yeah, he's out.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_02]: This was, you know, last night I was like, hey, I like Jalen Noel because he's coming on.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: He had a hundred-yard dig and Jacksonville in love to me at Iowa State and he obviously knows Brock Perti and I was thinking maybe that would be an addition, but then the turf toe and I guess the turf toe is serious.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: So he is out for the year, so that takes him off the board.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: I like Requel and I just think that when you, if you can give a really good coach, I think Reem's a really good coach of defensive backs, what he's done for Ronaldo, look what he's done for some of the, the Niner's young db's have all blossomed.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: This guy's got recoil and skyd as much talent as almost any corner in the game he's six four he's got great length They gave him a contract that was all based on on bonus money so he really is like a 1.26 million base so you don't have to pay the pro rated rest of
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: of 1.26 million base over the last six or seven games.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: So you're talking about a player that for your cap is really cheap.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_02]: You're also looking at a team in Philly that I think is quitting and would like to have a pick.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I think you could get Rick Won for a day three pick.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the guy that I would go for there.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: The edge rusher, I would go for Schmars Stewart.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: I read today that he's going to be dealt and they're saying it's going to be a four.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a day three pick.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: You give Chris Kassaric, especially now that you have Buckner, now would be the perfect time to try for Shemar Stewart.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: Because if he's awesome, you could win the Super Bowl, just on that, just on, oh my God, Chris got Shemar Stewart to play.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: And if he's not awesome, you got a really great developmental player that went in the first round that you're getting for a fourth round pick.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_03]: Zero snaps last two weeks.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: And he's only played six, eight snaps all year.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: That last year they went for, it's over.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: The Brewers have won the World Series last year.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: They went for Keon White, you know, people think about how good he is now.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners traded a sixth round pick.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: He was a second round pick.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_03]: had a condition attached to that trade where the nighters were going to get something back unless he was as awesome as he was.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: And so the condition didn't get met.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_03]: That's how good he was.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's exactly what you're hoping for.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: So he would be the, I would try to, to me, if I got to go low cost, I would probably go Shamir, a Requel and, and, and Shamar Stewart, um, you're getting a corner, you're getting a, and, and as, if I had to go, you know, in a receiver,
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: you know, it's hard.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: The receiver thing is a very difficult thing.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think of?
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know that he's available.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: I saw him listed today as available.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think of Rashad Bateman?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, again, he fits my category of outside X wide receiver.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_03]: He's always played that for the Ravens.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_03]: He's never had a productive year.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_03]: He's a red zone threat, but he is a big body, physical solid blocker that stretches the field vertically.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: Runs a full route tree.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: Not a playmaker.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like,
- 31:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's he's just not a playmaker, but in the NFL where there is a void of talent at the x-wide receiver position.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's why you seem to get paid so stinking much if you do have a quality x.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_03]: He's perfect for a backup, you know, behind Mike Evans.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: I like he's consistent.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_03]: He would fit with the 49ers do and, you know, he's not one of those guys.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to complain when he doesn't get the targets because he's never really gotten them with the ravens.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they've listed, I mean, he was listed today among the SPN people as a receiver who could be moved.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_02]: Another guy who I know the Niners would like, I don't know if he's, if you could get him.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: I know, but at least this guy's got size.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's got size.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: The receiver, you know, dilemma is really interesting, because the Niners got to get somebody because what if Mike Evans doesn't come back?
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: What if Mike Evans comes back for one game?
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: You cannot miss an opportunity to load up at wide receiver.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: But look what they've done.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: Look at the second half of the Washington game.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: Look at the Atlanta game.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners without Evans are pathetic at wide receiver.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: They don't even think they gotta get somebody at wide receiver.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know who it's gonna be, Kendrick Bourne, something,
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I don't know who it's going to be, but I mean, that they got to find somebody at wide receiver.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of like your idea, Hollywood Brown.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think Hollywood Brown might be, that might be the best idea out there.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you want to be cheap.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_03]: Like right now, I'm pretty cooks to have 45 snaps at X.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_03]: That is not it like anybody with eyes could look at do brand of cooks not the answer like they you can't move forward with that and not that like if you're going to move Branded cooks to the Christian Kirk roll and play some of the F snaps and whatever and you can hide them in the slot and see what that is, but you just are so limited days on tripling could do it.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: Jordan Walkins can't do it, but you've been playing them at Z.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't know who that outside threat is.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: And a Walkins, he's stepped up huge.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_03]: And I got to give credit to you, Larry, because his blocking, his effort, his, all those things, and he can test the catches ever show up, then he'll be a stud, but man, so huge stock up to that guy.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_03]: He's a keeper.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you keep running cooks.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what these wide receivers come in back.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_03]: You do, and so I guess,
- 34:34[SPEAKER_03]: to Marcus Robinson's going to be your backup picks.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_03]: I like Robinson a lot, but not in that role.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's your shy there.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_03]: Your shy there.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, you slice it until dribbling comes back.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a big gift.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_03]: You got two ifs at X and you got to have one.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's very interesting.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's really interesting.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: Chase senior says, why stop it to force Buckner?
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: The nine extra call
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: If you were making the big splash, who is your big splash, is your, if Buckner, I mean, Buckner, you got for the fourth, and it's a great addition, but should they trade a number one?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: Should they go after Crosby?
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you for me, the big splash that would intrigue me would be Darwin James, because Darwin James
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: can play nickel corner, he can play safety, he can play nickel corner and he's an awesome player.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_03]: He's just said he's going on IR.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_03]: They just said he's dead.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, did they?
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, did they?
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: I did not see that.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_03]: Just out of nowhere, out of nowhere.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the next, that would, that would, that would, that would, that would nicks the Durwin James, but what do you think of Jay, Jay, Jay seniors is nine or should go all in on Crosby is, is, is, is Crosby worth going all in on at this point and don't tell me, well, the Raiders aren't going to trade them, the Raiders are ready to trade them.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_03]: Right, they already treat him.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't feel ashamed of the Niners, but they already treat him.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't trained two ones for him at this point But like yeah, he's bad ass.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's incredible and that would be the over the top I would settle down to go probably at defensive and if you're looking long term Germaine Johnson with the Titans.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_03]: I think could be that young Future piece keep for a while Somebody that you could set in
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: it just keep there for a while.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: I know a lot of fans are going to kind of roll their eyes, but man, there's not that many edge guys out there that are like your perennial, whatever, it max, are you giving up a first in the second round pick for Max Crossman at this point?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: And are the raiders even selling?
- 36:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, there's that question, but if they were, I still don't think I would.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I would either.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather, I'd rather them trade a lesser package for Yad Yad Diabi.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_02]: Then trade a bigger package for, for Cross B.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that sounds crazy, but you know, go watch Yad Yad Diabi last week against Carolina.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: before you say no.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_03]: Crosby's awesome.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's great.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_03]: But if I'm trading that much, I'm going after a young player in their prime.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not doing that with this 49ers team that already has the oldest roster for another one of those.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_03]: I say, don't trade for an older player.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying don't sacrifice all that future youth for an older player.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_03]: Now, if you could get Garrett Wilson, I would trade that.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_03]: I
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: Just being on this show there.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, dude, I'll trade two first for Garrett Wilson.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready, man.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like, there's some guys I beef all in for 30 year old edge player.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_03]: I already can pay that top tier.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if I would.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if I would.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: No, I hear you.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: I hear you.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um, all right.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: Well, she had the screen.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Brandon cooks weighed in on the DeForce Buckner edition.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: And let's see where they had to say.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think this might be good.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: Brandon cooks talking defo.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: When teams see, hey, our opponent went ahead and they got.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: a top guy, a male, or whoever it comes.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: How good is it field in the front office to say, all right, we're gonna match that fire power with some of our own and use some future resources to win now.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: How does that feel as a player?
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: It feels incredible.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously when you're a team that you feel like you really got a shot, obviously nothing's guaranteed.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: But when a rival in your division does then your front office goes out and make a move right away, that tells you since the message to your players like listen, we're not focused on the future, we're focused on the now and making it happen now.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: And so when you go to work, that's huge because it makes everyone else kind of up their game.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: just because, you know, that sense of urgency is there.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: If you're GM and everything is going to make a decision like that during the season as players, you better match that intensity and mass that energy and come out and be able to make them right.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's awesome.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's awesome.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_02]: There you go, a little bit of, and I do think there is, it's a statement that like, hey, you know what, we believe in you guys.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a lot more juice when they do add somebody.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think it does create kind of ups the ante a little bit.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, hey, man, we believe in you.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: And we're gonna push all our chips in the middle of the middle of the table and we're going for it And I think the player's really respect that.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: Let's let's let's let's push John and I into the corner for just a second We'll do our prize picks lineup.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Actually.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, here we go.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: I've already dude.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_03]: You crushed the over 10 yard cable and black by a mile my friend last week I was thinking about it with the play happened.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_03]: I was like Larry you S.O.B
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: Seriously, well, you know, one of those, I thought, you know, it was BuzzDown game and it was bound to happen and he was definitely due for it.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: All right, here we go.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is our prize picks, deal, use code HMA, new users play five bucks and we'll get $150 in bonus lineups if you win that initial lineup.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: This week on prize picks we're going to go to pick power play on the Thursday night or $5 pays 15 Jordan love I'm saying under 259.5 passing yards, I like the past rush that Carolina possesses and then Chewbe Hubbard
- 40:18[SPEAKER_02]: you know how to down week last week they fell behind early and so he's fresh but meant two weeks going in spilly he was really impressive running the ball.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's a lock to go over 66 and the half rush yards out like closer to a hundred for chuba Hubbard.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I like the complimentary bits if he's running high there's got to be less passing on both sides.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: It's got to shorten the game a little bit.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: Little complimentary uh price picks right there and press what?
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: And you also have, you know, Jordan Jacob, I mean, Josh Jacobs back, and so I think Green Bay's, you know, is starting to, is probably going to run the ball a bit more in this game.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see, but there you go, our, our two-pick power play, five page of 15, thank you to prize picks for being a proud sponsor of the crew show.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: All right, and we will move our stuff to the side, we'll get ourselves back in the main frame there.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: Get that out of the way bingo bango there we go.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_02]: Also we're brought to you by sharp corner sports cards and collectibles Thank you to sharp corners for being a sponsor of the crew show their fantastic Check them out there in Pacific Grove California the great Anthony Katanya is a great following Instagram sharp corners 831 on The Graham Break fans of sharp corner sports cards
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: collectibles.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, couple more thoughts before we get out of here.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk Defoe for a second.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: DeForce Buckner.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners needed a defensive tackle.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: They bring in Buckner for a 27-4th.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's 32.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: Last year of his deal.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: I was looking at where he ranks.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: And here's where he ranks basically.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: His PFF overall grade 44th.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_02]: His past rush grade was 14th.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: So he's got a really good past rush grade.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: His
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's first among defensive tackles with six acts.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's ninth in solo tackles among defensive tackles.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's sixth in assists among defensive tackles.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_02]: 16th in stops, 22nd in hurries, 24th in cuby hits, 14th in pressures.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's had a lot of pressures.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: fifth and battered down passes.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_02]: This is a guy that bats past his down fourth among the D line in total snaps played, which is also a great stat shows these healthy seventh in rundown snaps fifth in past fresh snaps.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: His numbers are much better as a past fresher than as a run defender.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: the Niners, to me, this is so exciting from the standpoint of the depth that they now have on their front.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they've got multiple, they can come at you in waves.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they really can now.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's like you're starting for, could be Bosa, Defourist, Osa, and Mikhail.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: and then or key on white and then your second team D-line could be Ramello and Grace and Haltton and Sebastian Baldez and Michaela or key on white and then you still could work in a James Thompson, you got Khalid Creme, you know, and of course Sam O's coming back at some point both so we'll be back hopefully after the by week.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_02]: They've got some guys.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they can come at you in waves.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love to see a Josh sweat.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love to see a Shamar Stewart.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love to see one more guy that has a lot of talent.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think they could overwhelm people with their defensive front.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they've got so much depth there.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_02]: I really feel like they're one piece away from just being monster.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_03]: Well, one of my favorite things was when the trade happened for DeForce Buckner, I was like, dude, I hope they keep every single defensive tackle they have because you were doing a little bit of a disservice to a lot of the players that are playing above their pay grade.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_03]: Grayson Haltons been unbelievable as a rookie and he seems like the next hit.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_03]: But he played 34 snaps last week.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: That is not what you want in a rookie in the first part of the season.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's starting and you want to be able to utilize him, but man, Grayson Haltton should be getting kind of 25 to 30 snaps tops.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: Sebastian Valdez is playing defensive end and defensive tackle.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_03]: He's all over the place.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_03]: That's a disservice to him.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: And he wasn't effective.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_03]: Neither one of those two players were.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_03]: So, not only do you trade for Buckner, who's now the oldest, the vet, obviously, in a very young defensive tackle group.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_03]: This will allow the efficiency metric to jump through the roof for Grayson Haughtons.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_03]: Sebastian Valdez, James Thompson Jr., these guys that are kind of asked to do more than they should be because of the entries of the position.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_03]: Now they get it go back and play this role.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: where they have seen success and been successful.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_03]: It also helps Keon white to wear now.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: He can stay a little bit more outside.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: So now your defensive end rotation is healthier as well.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_03]: And so you're getting back to this kind of 2019 bring on waves of reinforcements instead of just men.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_03]: Whenever our alpha starters aren't out there and the bravo group is in there,
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: there's flaws, there's deficiencies, they're tired.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_03]: You got to get them out there.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_03]: Why is Collead Korean playing 47 snaps for this defense?
- 45:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's not what anybody wants.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: And not not trying to be rude to Collead Grame, who's been great fillin, but he's a fillin.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_03]: Let them be a fillin.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_03]: And so with both of coming back with the trade of Buckner, McKell Williams getting healthier, keeping key on wide outside, you're going to see this kind of,
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: attrition and a positive way and efficiency that you could ride the hot hand or somebody struggling and it's a bad matchup that we guess what we can not 15 snaps off for Sebastian Valdez and give them to somebody else.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: So this is huge.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_03]: The past rush alone.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, we all see I was watching Phil the overhand swim that butner's maybe the best in the NFL that is back.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_03]: I can't wait.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_03]: to watch him do that to offensive guards.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's just he's six seven doing a swim move.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: Come on man.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's just that's to can be Matumbo type stuff.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I'm pumped about that.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_03]: So, butner coming back raises all ships.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_03]: It really, really does and allows even the rookies to get the coaching, the veteran leadership, and to go back to the role that they should be in at this stage in their career.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_03]: Awesome move for fourth round pick.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_03]: Awesome move.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we'll leave you with this way before we hit our supers here.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: We got this one.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_02]: Some have you heard a John for sell a football.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: Are you familiar with John for sell a football.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'll allow you to go ahead.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know he is he is he's he's a NFL insider writer college football expert NBA guru and this guy's basically and I'll know it's guys like God basically.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_02]: He just knows everything.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's a parody account, right?
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just joking.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: You guys get 94,000 followers, but he says he's like just dropped my NFL morning inside scoops.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: Garrett Wilson to the Niners question mark.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: There's an awful lot of smoke about Garrett Wilson to the nine or two shall see we shall see soon enough All right, let's do this.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: Let's hit our supers and we're gonna bolt for the door I hope everybody is having a great night world series is going to Milwaukee Warriors get another win tonight, by the way, staff at 44 28 for the axle end of Burke.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: He looks amazing right now
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Dale 8288FU Larry some Jewel, love some jewels or something.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, thank you.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Dale.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate that.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate that FU.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: Good win house.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: How can I meet you?
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: Also, see Grant's girlfriend?
- 48:20[SPEAKER_05]: What?
- 48:21[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: Stay in the way for now.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: Let me think that over and I will tell you in 24 hours.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: Meet me here tomorrow at this exact time at the same bad channel.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: And you show up with a blue super chat for $1.99 and ask that question tomorrow and tomorrow, I may answer it.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: How can I meet you?
- 48:49[SPEAKER_02]: Are you a playboy model?
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: No, you're not.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, then we have a different different rules for that.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_02]: Kevin Cretzmer, what is Crosby's realistic price tag?
- 49:05[SPEAKER_02]: And is it worth it?
- 49:07[SPEAKER_02]: I love the way you're making the calls reportedly, but I am worried about our future cap space.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I think that John Lynch is going to add one more defensive player on the front, but I think it's gonna be like a key on white.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to be somebody like a Shamar Stewart, you know what, the guy was a first round pick, but we gave a sixth and here he is, Chris, Coach him up, I don't think it's going to be like some ready-made badass like Crosby who's going to cost you a ton.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to, I mean, if you said give me two names, I would say Shamar Stewart, yeah, yeah, Diabe, one of those, you're either going to pay a, you know, a third or a fourth
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: That would be my guess.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: If you made me guess, there it is.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_02]: There's my guess we got this one from slick who says second rounder for lad Maconkey trade rumors to Pittsburgh do 100% would you try to second for Maconkey's very small he's not to true x he's not to true x that I want, but he is that good like yeah, I wouldn't trade a one, but I would definitely try to too.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: Um, okay.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_02]: We got that one.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_02]: We got this one.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_02]: What about Dixon?
- 50:27[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: Don't do it.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_03]: Don't do it.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't know.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not familiar with.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: Not familiar with cider.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Not familiar with cider.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: A plus Larry.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_02]: That was close.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: That was close.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: My first.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: Some of my first rodeo.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: look at you guys what do you think what do you think I was born I was born in the day but it wasn't today or yesterday who as you can tell with the gray hair famous says understand importance of flexibility with your picks they also deteriorate and value the second after you draft Mikhail
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: Now we're Nardos Nardo.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: When I hear Nardo, I think of Mary Lou Henner from Taxi.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_03]: I like Nardo.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: Nardo.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the picks, that's problematic, but whenever you're at this stage of roster building with so many players getting paid top level, you have to bolster the salary cap players that are cheap on rookie contracts.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: You have to have that balance.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: You just have to fill out a roster.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: And I know there's only one first round or a second round of playing, but man, you look at the picks that they keep hitting on.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's, yeah, I get it.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Callie underscore bears is get Johnny Taylor before the Vikings are hawks do.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they just, you just can't do that.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_02]: You can't just stash guys.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: A Kimbro says after watching the tape, I'm concerned with Raheem's second half adjustments.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: We have been taking advantage of in the second half for the last two weeks.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: very, very true, very special.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's a valid valid comment.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: Um, we'll have to see how they look after the buy.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think is more new thing.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that'll be my thought on that scoot handle further here.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: We have this one from David Walner.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: He says, let's go to Dallas and party at Texas live.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_02]: Number one fan.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: Heck yeah, man, we'll be there in two and
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: See I'm going to Mexico City.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to Mexico City.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll party with you guys in Mexico City.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: But but Dallas, I was going to go to Dallas, but it just didn't work out.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: Chaos place says 10 jewels gold coin.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the jail and null thing before I played that.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: I put that up there.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: We got this one from Scott Lewis five jewels.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: Treat and we got this one from What is that?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_02]: OJG 3760 Larry you think we can send Bosa to the Browns for verse of 2027 first a 2028 second and use this for Taylor from the call to immediately trade McAfrey during the dirt.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, no
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_03]: They're not trading those first for Versa, I like Versa's versus big time.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love that verse, but I wouldn't trade Bosa, and I don't think they would either.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to have to make a decision on Bosa next year, but I don't think trading him is going to be the ticket.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to try to bring him back at a lesser price, I'll be my guess.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_02]: Irmberg's his buck isn't a needle mover at all.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: Go all in.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, sure John Lynch would probably disagree, but I kind of agree with her and buried there.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's a, I don't know if he's not a needle mover at all, but he's not the all in pick.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: When you're trading a fourth round draft choice, you're not, we are all in absolutely all in.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_02]: What'd you give up a fourth?
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say what?

- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: best handle that we have here says give me Darnell Washington.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_02]: He'd clear monster holes for the backs and he's basically a left tackle, imagine him lining up at full back and running behind him.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's often only taken Darnell a few years to get it rolling, but man, he is good.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: Bording passports, you know, I'll tell you this though, if I was going to go, I think the Steelers are in it, I don't think the Steelers are going to sell.

- 56:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think conkey's one.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: Keenan Allen.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: I though of their receivers.

- 57:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think you may see some more five men fronts, though.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Because you do have a good rapport.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think what I think are good group there.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think what you may see is guys playing harder because they're playing fewer snaps.

- 57:50[SPEAKER_03]: Defense was not.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then the defense turned it on.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_03]: The offense disappeared.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_03]: And special teams had miss apps all between.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_03]: So you never got the offense defense.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_03]: All three phases on the same page.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_03]: They were working against each other in the entire game.
